Bill Putman, known as Papa, his wife Barb, called Nini and Blake's wife Megan, all died at the scene when a semi-truck struck their vehicle on. September 26th, Blake, who was driving, remembers the impact vividly,

but survived with a broken nose, neck fractures, and cuts. Blake shared these details in a recent interview, noting how his wife had her arms around him and his dad was asleep in the back. Meanwhile, his brother Brandon and wife Casey in a nearby car watched the horror unfold and immediately prayed for the kid's safety. The children faced serious injuries too, including pelvic and clavicle fractures for some,

and traumatic brain injuries for Noah and Gia. All the kids pulled through thanks to quick medical care. with Noah spending two weeks in intensive care, followed by two months of rehab. Noah, now 15, has made an incredible recovery and is back at school, even playing football and wrestling.
