Reporting from The Daily News Now, I'm Corey with the latest entertainment headlines.
Bruno Mars stirred up drama last Friday, March 13th, when he liked a tweet that called Taylor Swift
Talonless and blamed her fame on White, privilege. The post showed a clip from her record-breaking
era's tour. The 40-year-old singer later removed his like from it. He followed up by tweeting a
message to spread love on social apps. Turns out, the critical tweet was falsely linked to
BTS's official account, and no one knows its true origin.
Fans and friends jumped in with reactions.
Singer-Anderson.Pod joked about teaming up with the wrong pop star and offered to help Taylor
with her 1989 album.
Mars quoted that with a funny edited photo of Bop Pac on the cover, calling out the betrayal.
Meanwhile, Mars is focused on his music.
He dropped his fourth solo album, The Romantic, in late February, and kicks off a world tour on
April 10th at a Legion Stadium in Las Vegas. The tour hits North America and Europe Next,
with opening acts like by Piac, Leon Thomas, Victoria Monet, and Ray. Mars recently performed
at the Grammys, including his new track, I Just Might, and got three nominations. His team
has not commented yet. Support for this episode comes from our sponsor. See the description.
