Billboards with the face of Nancy Guthrie have gone up across several states
to help find the 84-year-old mom of today, Shoho Savannah, Guthrie.
I had in Colchie, she vanished from her Tucson, Arizona home on February 1st after more than six weeks missing now.
The FBI launched the campaign in Arizona, Texas, New Mexico, and California.
But a retired agent calls it too scattered, like a shotgun blast,
with no clear aim. She says the board should feature the masked man caught on the home doorbell
camera instead. That suspect showed up around the time of the likely abduction from her bed at night.
He even tampered with the security setup. Experts believe he would have hidden Nancy right away,
so people might recognize him even if they never saw her. Nancy was last spotted the night of
January 31st, having dinner with her daughter Annie and son-in-law before getting dropped home around 10.
PM. A trail of her blood was found on the front porch, pointing to a targeted kidnapping.
Investigators have DNA from the scene under analysis, along with that key footage.
Savannah recently shared the family fears, the worst, but still praise for her recovery.
They've now raised the reward to $1 million for tips leading to her.
