kicked off a huge solo bike ride from Weymouth in Dorset all the way to Edinburgh to raise money for comic relief.
Just one week before starting, his father, Allen had a stroke during planned heart surgery,
forcing Greg to miss his Friday show and rushed to be with his.

Greg got back on air Monday, sharing that his dad, nicknamed Big Al,
is stable and fighting hard with small steps toward recovery after time in.

During the first leg to Abergavenny,
Greg got emotional,
tearing up from support crowds and hugging his mom at the finish line.
