Candy Burst recently opened up about prepping her 23-year-old daughter Riley
for her first solo reality TV gig on Bravo's Next Gen New.
York City.
The show premiered last year and tracks a group of friends in their 20s,
navigating life in the Big Apple.
Riley had appeared with her mom on Real Housewives of Atlanta before going solo.
The cast also includes other kids from Housewives stars,
like Ariana Biermann from Kim Zolciak,
Biermann, Gia Judice, from Teresa Judice, and Brooks,
marks from Meredith Marks.
Candy, who left Real Housewives of Atlanta
after 14 seasons early this year,
wanted Riley to handle the spotlight wisely.
She stressed to Riley the need to stay honest and confident,
owning every word without backing down.
Candy warned her not to give producers ammo
to replay old clips against her.
Just keep pushing forward no matter the drama.
Riley graduated from New York University in May 24 and jumped right into the show.
She's chasing a career in law while living solo in a two-bedroom New York apartment,
which her mom says is great for her mental health.
Candy admitted she felt scared at first about Riley diving into reality TV.
Still, she's proud of her daughter's strength and ready to tackle whatever comes next in this wild world.
