It's March 16th. Here's your entertainment news in two minutes.
Tiana Taylor had a tense run-in with a security guard right after the 26 Oscars
wrapped up at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles.
The 35-year-old actress called out the guard for shoving her as guests were heading out on Sunday,
March 15th. Video from the scene shows Taylor raising her voice,
stressing that no man should put hands on a woman like that.
She repeated how rude and uncalled for it was, while another woman nearby,
agreed it was out of line.
Later that night, Taylor chatted with TMZ
and downplayed the whole thing.
She said everyone was just having fun,
but security got a bit overzealous.
She made it clear she won't stand for
unprovoked disrespect.
Taylor was up for Best Supporting Actress for her
role in one battle after another,
the night's big winner with six Oscars,
including Best Picture.
She stayed upbeat, even joking about
celebrating with her director earlier in award
season. In the end,
Amy Madigan took home the supporting
actress trophy, but Taylor still had a strong run, picking up a golden globe for the same performance.
