They'll lay the foundation for you to achieve.

Wow.
I can't believe it's been a month since the last episode.
I mean, how time flies when you're a parent.
It really feels as if I just blinked and a month went by.
No complaints, though.
Glad to be a parent, loving it, and really glad to be back.
Just got back from Vegas last week or so.
It was a pleasure to meet all of you that made it for the REIC test drive.
I won't get into it too deep,
But REIC is the company owned by our guest on episode 36, Mr. Chris Crone, of who gave me and the Yordue Over listeners, a free test drive of his company's membership and investing system.
And you know what?
I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed.
So much so that I did purchase a lifetime membership with REIC, and I now have a second team, a team other than my own, assisting in expanding my real estate portfolio in different parts of the country.
Now, if you missed out due to you got the word late or perhaps that weekend just didn't work out for your schedule, no worries.
Chris has set up a special website page just for you, the Your Do-Over listeners at R-EIC test drive.com.
They host their test drive every other week and they rotate between Orem, Utah, Phoenix, Arizona, and Las Vegas, Nevada.
And if that's of interest to you, go to R-EICTestDrive.com to check the dates and the locations.
I believe there's even a special test drive at the end of the month in Chicago
and another one at the beginning of October in Los Angeles.
So if you want to check that out, it's a $397 fully refundable deposit.
And I have to say that Chris is so confident in his company and the service that they offer.
You know, on the last day of the test drive, he walked right up to the front of the room
with multiple checks for $397, one made out to each and every participant in the room.
when he said, if you weren't satisfied with the REIC test drive,
you can just come up here and get your money back.
You know what?
Not one person asked for their money back.
It was a really classy move on his part, I thought.
And you know what?
I was just, I was impressed.
That's all I can really say.
So you can find all that information at reicestdrive.com.
However, if you haven't received the entire scoop on what REIC is all about and what they do,
you'll first want to go to get your gameplan.com.
Get your game plan.
That's really the first step.
Okay, so let's move on.
It's funny that the more I try to not talk about real estate on this show, the more that I end up doing
so.
And, you know, what's even more funny, actually, it's been somewhat frustrating lately, is booking
guests for the show that don't have real estate somewhere in their do-over.
I suppose that's just an indicator of my own personal network.
So I've been stretching beyond my network in search of guests that have some insight
of which will contribute to your do-over, some sort of insight.
and background that does not involve real estate.
I don't want you to think this is a real estate show,
even though I probably haven't done a very good job of that.
But one of my guests from way, way back, Stephen Gregg,
he recently hosted one of his business builders boot camps
for small business owners and network marketers of which I attended last month,
and at one of the back table sat a woman representing her company.
And we got to talking,
and I discovered just six months ago she was a stay-at-home mom
and very recently decided to do over her professional life
and come back into the workforce, so to speak.
And there was nothing real estate related in her story.
So I was like, cool.
And since we got along so well,
I decided to ask her to come on the show
and to share what it's like to go from Working America
to becoming a full-time parent
and then back to Working America.
So on the line, I have Christina Vendley.
Christina, thanks for taking time out of your busy schedule
to share the story of your recent do-over.
And to get started, can you give the listeners
a little bit of your background
and then lead us up to today?
and describe what happened that called for you to do-over?
Well, I'm actually, thanks, Matt, and I'm excited to be here.
I've had a lot of do-overs in my life, actually.
I started working with corporate America as a salesperson for like Fortune 100 companies out of college,
and I was bored out of my mind with that.
And after that, I worked for a marketing promotional company while I was doing a 10% commission,
sales job.
And I actually failed with that job.
I left a comfy, nice, corporate America job and went to 100% commission,
and I actually did not make it and got fired after the first 20-day review,
which was interesting.
I never got fired in my life.
But what came out of that, though, was my brother actually had the same type of company
up north in Silicon Valley.
And he told me right when I got fired and said, hey,
They want to come up here, move up here, and come work with me.
So that was, for me, that was a huge dealover because, obviously, I just got fired and I had to decide whether I was going to try to do this again.
And, you know, working for your brother, that's even more pressure.
So, you know, I did that, and I did very well at it.
But that was, you know, that was a big do-over in my life, the least.
How long ago was that?
That was about 10 years ago
10 years ago, okay
Yeah, maybe 15 years ago actually
15 years, yeah
So there's another one coming
Yeah, there's a couple coming
Go for it
Well, I worked for my brother for about six years
And then we built that startup company
To be one of the fastest
Growing company
Privately held companies in Silicon Valley
During a tech boom
So he did really do some great things
And it was awesome to be part of what he created and his partner.
But there came a day where my dad called me and pleaded with me to come home back to Southern California
and helped him start the same business because he was floundering and needed my help.
At that point, I decided to leave what was working wildly successfully working for my brother
and tried to help my dad out.
Unfortunately, that did not work out because of personalities.
conflicts and just, you know, you can't work with everyone in your family I found.
And so that's...
Working with family can be very tricky.
So, yeah, so from there, I had to actually do another start over.
And from there, I just decided to start my own commercial items company.
Because I already have the contract.
I already have been doing it for about eight years at that point.
And I did become really successful.
I was like the top 2% in the nation in sales.
did it all myself, and I secured some of the largest accounts in the tech arena that I could.
Nice.
And then one day I had a child.
Oh.
And you may know, Matt.
Yes, I can.
Everything.
It does.
I can certainly relate.
Right.
So when my, um, as I had my nanny coming every day for the first year and a half,
as I was working away one day, I decided I'm done, dropping my nanny off at the beach with my kids.
and me going back to work every day.
So I decided to become a full-time mom for about five years.
So my son's now seven and going into second grade as of this week.
And I just decided five months ago to go back into the workforce.
And that is when I found a free block factory.
Got it.
So I've had a lot of readies.
Right.
So this one's really recent, just what, five or six months, right?
Yeah, five months, yeah.
What was it that, you might have just said this, but maybe you can clarify a little bit.
What was the first sign that, you know, things weren't going so good?
What had you come back out into the workforce?
You know, I just, I had made a decision that when my son went into, like, when he was around seven years old,
that would be the time, just get back into the workforce and, and give my, you know, I wanted to get rid of my mommy brain.
I just needed to use my brain and create again, and I really met creating,
and socializing and doing goals and, you know, and having something to accomplish.
So it just really was time for me to do it.
Mm-hmm.
You know, you've got several do-overs.
You've worked for family, your brother, and your father,
and corporate America in all different capacities.
What is one mistake, and maybe you've got a couple of them,
that you've made in those past endeavors,
that you just swear you'll never make again?
I will never ever take a safe job again.
A safe job, I mean, you know, you don't get paid all that much, but you get the benefits, you get the car, you get all the, you know, expensive accounts and whatnot.
Because what I found after doing three or four of those out of college, you know, for five, ten years, whatever it was, is that you're just really so limited.
And no matter how hard you work, you're going to get the same paycheck.
and that does not work for me.
So I will never, ever take the safe route again.
Right, right.
A lot of people are finding that, you know, the word safe can be a little misleading because, you know.
But they used to be safe.
Used to be safe.
Before the recession, they were safe jobs and you could probably keep forever and you could probably get your pension.
But, yeah, times of change.
Mm-hmm, definitely.
I don't know if they were ever going to return.
back to what we've been accustomed.
I was listening to something this morning
an interview with Seth Godin.
Have you heard of him?
Absolutely.
Yeah, and he was saying,
we're leaving this factory age,
we're leaving the office age,
and, you know,
we're probably never returned back
to our traditional way of working again.
It was pretty amazing,
and eye opening had so many statistics
and, you know,
just insights that were, like,
kind of made it undeniable,
like, wow, I guess you're right,
you know, better.
I got it.
It's time that.
take control over your own life and your own circumstance
and not necessarily put it into
somebody else's hands.
So it seems like that's...
Exactly.
Yeah, it seems like that's kind of something that you're
up to. Tell me about what you're up to right now
and what's bringing you back to
your previous fame
and fortune and glory.
Well, I'm actually
fortunate enough to be the affiliate manager
for free blog factory.
And they are a company.
We're basically an internet company.
We provide free WordPress
professional website and blog to people to help them brand themselves in their
companies.
And I'm lucky enough to work with the most amazing guys probably in the industry.
And our affiliates are incredibly inspiring to me as well because there are people
just trying to make a buck really for their families and, you know, and get through
this, what he called this recession that we're doing.
And there's something different in the all have, you know, a lot of, you know, a lot of
I have respect for, you know, what they're doing and their dedication to it.
So it's pretty inspiring to me every day to go to work.
Nice.
That makes for a really good environment.
It does.
So you've been out of the workforce for a little while, and previously you were working
for other people, and now you've got a little bit more autonomy, a little more independence.
What new habits have you had to adopt in your do-over?
Okay.
So I've had to
patience
because when you're starting over,
you've got,
you know,
you have to work hard
and everything doesn't come to you in your time.
So I basically just have to learn
how to plant and cultivate
and then harvest
and be very patient about
doing that because, you know,
we want everything now, now,
but that doesn't happen in the real world.
Right.
No, it sure doesn't.
It sure doesn't.
well you're in very much
you've been in the technology industry it seems like
for most of your working career
and you're in it once again
what is the what is the service
or the technology that's making the biggest difference
for you right now
well when I was working six years ago
we didn't have iPhones
we didn't text
we didn't have even Facebook
so all this
we didn't have Skype
so now all these technologies
obviously I work for a tech company.
So I basically have my iPhone
and attach to my head at all time.
I have to wake up,
I turn on Facebook, I turn on Skype,
and it's basically with me all day long
until I go to sleep.
So things have changed a lot.
I appreciate all of it,
and it keeps us all connected.
So yeah, it's just
everything, you know,
I don't have an iPad yet.
I need to win one of those.
We keep giving those away.
The prices, it's content prices.
I need to,
I'd say to get myself one of those.
They won't.
But, yeah.
You'd said something about Facebook as a technology that you have that on all day.
And, you know, I've just been bombarded with emails and text messages and come to this webinar,
come to this seminar, and how do you use social media to generate your business.
And, you know, I've gone to a couple things.
I've tried out a few things.
And, you know, I've got a Facebook account.
I got a Twitter account.
And I've really found them pretty much useless for business.
I mean, how are you making it work for you?
you and your business?
Well, I'm communicating with affiliates over Facebook, so instead of doing an email,
I find which affiliates work better that way, and that's the only way I communicate with
them.
And I also, I've added, you know, 7, 600 new possible affiliates or affiliates to my Facebook
friends since I started five months ago.
So that's the way that I go through
and I find, you know, prospecting
and I send them notes and I send them friend requests
and then I am constantly,
I probably spend one or two hours a day on Facebook
just communicating and cultivating relationships
to bring on new affiliates
and to keep the affiliates that we have
happy in communication with us.
Nice. So you brought on about 500, 600,
new affiliates just through your Facebook relationships.
Right.
Wow. Okay. So may I ask, what is your initial communication look like and where you actually get a response from them? Because I find myself deleting a whole bunch of stuff.
Well, I look at what we have in common. So the first thing I do is I like a lot of things that other affiliates may not be into, like real estate or, you know, some books that they might like think and grow rich. You know, I find that there's some similar things and niches that I'm going after.
And I'm being authentic about it.
I do like those things.
But I just try to make a broad, you know, like on my pages.
But what I do is then I go, I look at the people that are already affiliates of ours.
And then I go through their friends and I see if they're in the business or not.
And when I see that we have 20 or 40 or 60 or 100 friends in common, I send them a friend request with a note saying, hey, look, you know,
see, we have a lot.
You have some awesome business people in common.
Obviously, somebody actually knows to connect with like-minded people, you know, listen forward to it.
Basically that.
And then, you know, like, more than, maybe 60% of the people respond back and they're happy to connect.
Got it.
Got it.
So what you're saying is you actually just pretty much interact and network with people online the same way most people network and interact with people offline.
Exactly.
Right.
And it's free.
I don't have to, I can do it from my desk at home.
You know, I do it from the office.
do it from the beach.
Mm-hmm.
Do it from anywhere, from my iPhone as well.
So, yeah, it's very, very powerful.
I don't even really pick up the phone hardly and communicate with any of my clients that much.
Mm-hmm.
That's a fucking Skype.
Crazy.
Super.
And that's what changed.
It used to be, you know, 10 years ago, all it was with the phone.
Right.
Now, you know, you can't get anyone on the phone.
So that's almost being considerate at this point, not calling someone.
Right.
It's funny how that's happened.
Absolutely.
So now that the, you know, as people, I should say,
from the people that I've had on the show and the people I've talked to,
and I notice as they go through some rise and falls and rise agains,
and some of them do it a couple of times,
and his age comes with that as well,
how have your goals changed?
How has your definition of success changed?
Well, that's a good point.
When I was younger, I used to only measure it by money or by the car I had or the houses that I had.
But now I've learned, especially from the recession, I think it taught everyone a huge lesson in just being more humble.
And that those things don't, whatever those material things are, they don't, I don't get my measure of self-worth from those,
from external components like that.
Because really, it's just that is not who I am and that doesn't define me.
So now it's not about the money.
It's really more about life balance.
You know, I have a child, I have a seven-year-old.
I need to spend time with him and be a good mom with him.
I need to, you know, I love to go to work and create and inspire the people to achieve their goals.
And, you know, at the end of the day, if I do that,
and I'm taking care of my health and my vitality
and I'm spending time with my family.
That's what success is
and that's what, you know, gets me out of bed in the morning.
Right, right.
You know, I know there's a lot of,
I get a lot of emails from working moms and working parents.
What sort of advice or tips would you give a mom out there listening right now
that's a stay-at-home mom right now,
thinking about re-endering the work?
workforce or maybe someone that's already in the workforce that, you know, might be experiencing
a little bit of challenge of balancing life.
You know, the best thing I can say is for the first part, it just comes behind is I know
when I was a full-time mom, I blogged to keep my, not only just to keep my brain working,
but what that can do is they can brand them, they can help brand themselves.
Whether they're re-endering the workforce, they're really going to need that.
because that is your reputation that you're creating online.
And it is really a digital resume that someone can Google your name, find your website,
do what you're about, and you know, you have complete control over that.
So, you know, obviously you can make yourself look as great as you can, which you should,
especially if you're looking for a job, that would be my first thing that you could do.
It's just that you need to stay where you are, but at least you can do that.
in the meantime, if you're stuck in a job, you can't leave.
You can get a blog.
You just start learning social media, and that will actually look great in the resume
that you're doing that.
I think that's one of the reasons why these guys hired me because I had a blog,
and they were successful, and they could see what kind of person I was
just from looking at that for five minutes.
But, you know, balance is tough.
I think you need to have time where you just turn off the phone, you know,
turn the Skype off.
shut her down and give at least two hours of complete time to your family, and don't let anyone
interrupt you and do that as much as possible.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah, setting your boundaries.
Yeah, setting your boundaries.
Absolutely.
You know, you said something about when you were hired for your current position and working
with their current company that, you know, they looked at your blog, and I've been hearing
a lot about companies that, when they're, you know,
They're looking for new employees and new prospects to work with their companies.
You know, your online presence is so very important these days.
And I'm hearing funny stories about, you know, people losing jobs because of their college days
or their college fraternity days and they posted some crazy pictures on Facebook.
So your online identity and your online presence is so, so important.
It's affecting every part of life right now, isn't it?
Absolutely.
And, you know, I have a friend that's a manager.
and she had a guy calling to work on a Friday.
He was so stupid.
He posted on Facebook.
I'm off to Vegas for the weekend.
So, you know, you got to be smart about what you're putting on online.
Right.
And it's a great thing about it having a blog instead of having a MySpace or whatnot.
Well, first of all, get rid of all those things.
Okay, everyone, anything that has to do with partying or, you know, up and no good, get it off.
Right.
Because people can find that, and that's your reputation.
and, you know, that could be cost you your job
or cost you not to get a job.
So, you know, it's so important.
And people overlook it.
I think it's somewhat unsure, but they just do.
Totally.
And, you know, the, it's just different things are coming to me
from this different, this interview that I heard.
Then you're also at a little bit in trouble
if your prospective employers do a Google search on you
and they don't find anything.
Now, that's a problem as well.
I mean, if you, the thing is, if you, I, I had interviewed with a guy before I took this position with Free Blog Factory.
I googled in, I didn't find anything, but I don't like that.
That is, that is, I don't trust this person right off the bad because what's he hiding?
What's going on with that, you know?
And I, I suggest that everyone buy their own domain name because you need to have, you don't want someone that doesn't like you, get old on your domain name.
and post whatever they want to about you and have that come up.
You have no control over that to just be a nightmare.
So that's what we suggest for every new customer to definitely spend $10 a year
and get your own domain name, gets your blog set up with that domain name,
so you can control that.
And, you know, like you said, it's your online reputation.
And that's everything.
You can know that.
You have to protect that just like, you know, your house, your kids,
your life. I mean, you know, online expectation can be everything.
Absolutely. You know, not even necessarily would they be hiding something, but I've got a friend
I know from high school, I've been looking for him forever, and I just know there's nothing online
because he probably has absolutely no interest in anything online. So it kind of shows that,
wow, okay, so maybe you're not hiding anything, but are you just completely out of touch, dude?
Yeah, fine, that's a good point, because that's what the guy told me when I asked him.
I Googled you and I couldn't be like, oh, I don't believe in being online.
I'm like, oh, this is someone I want to work with.
Right.
You know, that's just, that is archaic.
So that's not where I want to be and go into the future with that mindset.
Totally.
So up to this point in your life, Christina, what are you most proud of?
You know what I'm just proud that I'm still here.
I've gone through a lot of ups and downs of my life.
I'm just proud of myself.
but, you know, I'm still gone.
I'm still surviving.
I have a good work ethic and I have a good attitude,
and I'm just really just, you know, looking forward to the future.
And that's, you know, I don't need a lot.
I have a lot of awards, but that doesn't really mean anything to me anymore,
really that I'm here and I'm happy.
Right.
There's a lot to be grateful for, isn't there?
Absolutely.
I'm grateful for everything.
I know.
It's just life can be awesome.
You really stop and think about how fortunate,
we are just to be living in America.
I mean, just to have two arms, two legs, and breathe clean air and be able to count money
and be able to speak English.
It's just like those things right there that we all just take for granted are such
blessings just of themselves.
Absolutely.
Yeah.
And I'm a runner, and I go running every day.
I see people that are with canes or they can't run.
I think, I think God is, like, you know what, I get two legs.
I'm running.
Life is good, you know, I'm blessed.
Yeah, absolutely.
So what's in your future right now that's just really excited about it?
I mean, you're just getting started and you're due over again.
And hopefully this is the last time you have to do over.
So what is it that, you know, cause you to choose what you've chosen?
And what is it about it that you're just really excited about?
You know what?
I'm really just excited about where I'm at with Free Blog Factory.
I love working with the guys that I work with Bradley Will and Russell Yermal.
They're amazing guys.
you know, they get me pumped up every day
and inspired and motivated to do the best I can
and being surrounded with that kind of talent
and people that are so,
has such a high level integrity.
I'm inspired by them
and I'm also just inspired by our customers
and our affiliates that, you know,
I can see them go through,
go through their process of just starting
and learning how to do, blogging,
all the way up to, you know,
winning sales content,
and I'm sending the iPads and TVs and scooters.
And it's just, it's a fun, fun place to be.
And for my personality, I love to inspire people.
It is a perfect fit.
And so that works for me, and I'm so blessed at this point.
You know, we've been throwing around this word, blogging.
And I don't know, maybe I'm just being,
or I'm being assumptive or assuming that everybody knows what that is.
And maybe they don't.
I mean, maybe I'm taking that, that,
for granted. Can you explain a little bit what
blogging is? Well,
a blog is, basically
it's a way to communicate with
the world on the internet.
We
provide a WordPress blog
slash website, and what that
is is a four-page website
and it comes the first page
is a blog. So the other three
pages, a website is static
but a blog is actually something
that changes as you put in
articles or banners or
any information that you want to do.
There's something that you can communicate via online,
but you can easily be manipulated to be updated, you know,
at a click of a button.
So that's just really powerful.
Being able to do it yourself, you don't need a designer,
you don't need to know HTML any code or any geek setup.
We make it really easy to work.
You can communicate and put on articles,
almost like a mini magazine of your own.
You know, you make these blog posts as long or so did you want.
And, you know, what it does is it gets you communicating with other people.
You get networking with people.
You create fans of your followers of your blog site, your website, your website.
And that actually can lead to great things.
I had my blog for two years when I was a full-time mom.
And I was approached to write for an international magazine just because,
this gal read some of my posts.
So it's really unlimited to what a blog can do for you.
And it's really up to you
or how much time and effort you want to put into it.
But it's something that I recommend for anyone,
whether they're working or not,
if you're just a way to, like we say,
get your reputation out there,
get fans and get yourself noticed by the world.
Right.
I have to play devil's advocate
because just the name of your company is free blog factory,
and we know nothing in life is actually free.
Is this blog really free?
The actual blog is free, believe it or not.
There's nothing slamming about it.
We do provide a free WordPress website
with the world's only free training.
We have training webinars, training videos, online chat,
as well as phone support.
But what you have to do is anyone that has a website, you need to have a domain name,
which would be for like me, it would be www.com.
That would be the domain name, and you need to secure that, and it only costs $10 a year to secure that.
And you can put that U.S. when you set up your site,
or use your existing domain name and just point it over.
so that could actually be free if you already have one.
Got it.
And the other thing you need, everybody needs the website needs hosting,
which is like paying rent on the Internet.
So to make that, to make your website or blog live on the Internet,
you have to pay for hosting.
And that's usually a monthly service.
Right now we use host care, which is the world's largest
and most reputable hosting company.
at this point they have a special if you pay month and month.
It's free for the first 30 days, and after that it's $9.95 a month.
But if you're really committed and dedicated to what you're doing and your business,
they have up to two-year programs where you can get that cost down if you do prepay
to $6.95 a month.
So we're really talking about $6.95 a month for hosting,
which you have to have anyway, and a possible $10 a year to secure it.
your domain
but all our
services that we provide
are free
there's no
no uh
no surprises
we do have two
we have two things
and you can
choose to use
if you'd like
which we just started
last week
which is a
custom website design package
and that is
$197
and that is
you know
if you want to get your
picture or your logo
and you want to
have it match your favorite
colors
or
or, you know, whatever sex you give us,
that is an option if you want to differentiate your blog from,
from everyone else.
Got it.
So I know there have been, I'm just like,
this is like, we're talking in my world now,
so now I have some questions of my own personal interests.
So hopefully you can oblige me.
So I know a lot of free websites that have been around in the past,
like they've been loaded with advertising,
and then if you paid, then that would get rid of the advertising.
Do you have something going on like that?
No, not at all.
So there's no other third-party advertising or anything like that?
No, there's no third-party advertising.
So the hosting, I mean, I've got a several websites,
so I actually have a host Gator website and some other hosts as well,
so I know you've got to do that.
Do you guys, like, for example, if, heaven forbid, you know,
free blog factory went out of business,
would my website go down also?
No, sir, because we are just the catalyst, kind of the people that help you create your website.
But if we were not here tomorrow and for some reason, you are actually paying host aator.
So all that money that you're paying for hosting is going directly, it's going to your hostator and they are hosting your website.
So if we are not around, your site will definitely stay up because hosting.
skater is a roasting company.
Okay.
So, I'm sorry.
I'm just, I said, I haven't, yeah, totally makes sense.
Is that weird?
Well, I have such a business mind.
So what are you like as a nonprofit organization or what?
Well, we actually, when someone in, we are, we used to be their largest affiliate.
Mm-hmm.
So, co-skater came to us and said, you know, his partner up.
So what we do is, you know, we're partnering with them.
So we do get some money.
back when people use co-sator as their hosting account.
You know, it's obviously not a large amount of money.
So that's why we're starting to do customization.
The web design customization is $197.
So that's the revenue stream for it.
As well as we get paid on the hosting, of course.
And we also just created a business mini magnet package,
and that is $197 as well.
And what that does is it gives the person the ability,
obviously, to capture the leads when they come to traffic
that comes through their website.
And we do that by a custom design poppice form and an opt-in form.
And we do all the copyright and design for that match
whatever if they do the custom website to match,
whatever the logos or pictures are.
So those are the two revenue.
things we have now and I'm sure there'll be some
exciting news coming in the future.
You guys do
a whole lot of work for very little.
You've got to do a lot of these free blogs, don't you?
We've given away a lot of value
and I think probably because
Bradley Will was part of
the Go-Kidler tour with
Bob Berg.
And I know Bob Burke talks about
building companies with value
value-added features
first and building a
client base and I think that is the business
model that they have chosen to follow.
So that's where we're at.
So now that we have a great, great customer base at this point,
we're going to start rolling out some awesome products
to really help people make their blogs in the website to even better.
Awesome.
I'm impressed because I've got four blogs of my own,
and I know what it took to launch each one of them.
And you guys just kind of do it for the people,
and you just got to pay for the hosting,
which you've got to pay for anyway.
Right, exactly.
Thank you.
Very cool.
Okay, I get it. I understand now.
I'm about to launch a new blog anyway, and I think I'm going to go on a test drive your service.
Perfect. I appreciate that.
Put it to the test.
Well, let me tell you where to go.
Okay, yeah, tell you where to go.
Okay, so go to blog to the max.com.
Blog to themax.com.
Right, so that's M-A-X.
M-A-X.
Got it.
Okay.
I am going to.
take you up on that and
I'm gonna
I'm tough too
I'm gonna try and poke holes in it if I can't
but I won't be mean
I won't be unfair that's for sure
I'll be looking for your phone call
when you called me and say that was
too easy I cannot believe that's it happened
I'll see my lines open
that's awesome
thank you thank you
well Christina we're out of time
thank you for spending the time
with us I didn't know we're going to talk so much about your
business, but I'm glad that we did because I have a personal interest, and I know I've got a lot of listeners that would probably have a personal interest in that as well, and maybe we can all test drive it together and compare notes, or they can just wait for me and I'll be the guinea pig, which I do on most of the stuff anyway. All righty.
Sounds good.
Cool.
Would you mind coming back in the future just to let us know how things are going?
I would love to come back in the future.
Great.
I really enjoyed having you on the show.
Thank you so much.
Thank you, Matt.
Take care.
Bye-bye.
great call. You know, I love making new friends and I love adding, inspiring people to my network
and my environment. And, you know, the one thing that I picked up from the call, and it was brief,
and you might have missed it or not, but one of the new habits she's adopted is patience.
I mean, has the question, how long will my do-over plan take to complete? When will I see results?
I mean, have those questions or thoughts crossed your mind? I bring that up because they are
questions that I'm frequently asked, and to be straight with you, I ask myself,
those questions every now and then.
And I have to remind myself that results happen when results happen.
And I've noticed the people that experience the fastest results have one thing in common.
They waste no time in worrying about what the other guy is doing,
nor do they waste too much time worrying about their problems,
nor do they spend too much time on focusing on when am I going to get results.
They plan their work and they work their plan.
That's what they have in common.
And recently, very recently, in fact, I've been thrown off my plan.
Maybe you've noticed, I haven't been here in a while.
As I have a new responsibility in my life, I've got a son, and, you know, results are great,
and they are what we strive for, and they will happen as long as we stay focused and work our plans.
But you know what?
It's okay.
I've decided it's okay if you get off track now and then for the right reasons.
And I say that because I doubt that any of us on our deathbeds are going to wish we would have
worked an extra day or we wish we would have worked an extra weekend.
I'm really confident most of us, however, we'll look back and wish we would have spent an
extra day with our families or wish we wouldn't have brushed off our friends that one day
because we had to work.
You know, there's a time for work, and there's a time for you, and there's a time for those
that you care about.
So I'm asking you today, check in to see if you're given one too much time to the detriment
of another.
You know, I'm reminded of this quote.
I'm not sure of who to give the credit to,
but it says,
don't count the days,
make the days count.
Perfectly written.
So, here's your homework assignment.
I want you to call one person.
That one person you've been meaning to call
and call them just to say hi.
Tell them how awesome they are,
and then ask them how they're doing,
and then just listen.
I mean, that's one of the greatest gifts a human can give to another,
and that's their attention.
So that's your homework.
And in the immortal words of Nike, just do it.
That's it for today.
God loves you and so do I.
I am Matt, the do-over guy, and I will see you on the next episode of your do-over.
Oh, and I promise, it won't be another month until the next episode.
Take care and be amazing.
Thank you for tuning in to your do-over, where the ignored, underestimated, and unknown
steps to producing results and making life work are revealed.
Remember, knowledge is potential power.
Take action on what you learn today.
This is not your learnover.
