All right, so today I'm going to show you how to generate leads for your real estate investing business with content marketing.
This is Terrio Media.
Success in real estate has nothing to do with shiny objects.
It has everything to do with mastering the basics.
The three pillars of real estate investing.
Attract, convert, exit.
Matt Terrio has been helping real estate investors do just that for more than a decade now.
If you want to make money in real estate, keep listening.

Here's Matt.
By the way, my name is Matt Terrio.
I am CEO of Epic Real Estate.
And what we do here is we show people how to invest in real estate with an emphasis on retiring early.
So when I got started, my content marketing used to consist primarily of what I thought that the seller wanted.
And where I made a big mistake was I actually had an attachment to the,
outcome where I expected something in return. And that was just a huge mistake. And this is how I do it now.
So number one, you got to understand the seller's problems. There's a reason that that seller
called you and not a real estate agent. They've got something going on in their life that's much
bigger than the traditional sale of their home and having to go through all the open houses and all
the stuff in the days on market that accompanies that traditional sale. So you've got to really be in tune with
that and understand that. Number two, you've got to research what they're actually looking for.
What is the solution that they want? So if they were going to go to Google and start searching for
their solution, what would they be typing in? Would they be looking for fast cash for their house?
Would they be looking for an extended clothes? Would they be looking to sell their house as is
without having to do repairs? You have to understand what that problem is so that you can provide the
solution. Then number three,
When they do find you online, they find your content, you have to make sure that you're actually
providing this solution.
We all know that people are going to do business with the people that they feel that can
actually help them.
And the best way to show someone that you can actually help them is to actually help them.
So if they're looking to sell their house for top dollar, it might be in their best interest
for you to direct them to go and actually talk to a realtor.
If they're looking to sell their house without doing repairs, maybe by showing them a way that they can do some really cheap, inexpensive, easy repairs, that might be in their best interest.
So in your content marketing, if you're providing a real solution to the seller, yes, they may actually take you up on that and go do that.
But more than likely, they're going to go to work with a person that has actually helped them up to that point.
And if that was you, when they're ready to make that move, it's you.
They're going to call.
