Starting point is 00:00:00 Dave Portnoy does not give a single solitary shit about anything you say. As soon as he sees this video, if there was anything in this that he decided that he could twist and then turn into more content to create more views for his entities, he'll do it. We're going to Nantucket and we're throwing a party. No influencers festival. Okay, I'm Nantucket to playfully spite Dave. Let's get Extra Dirty. Okay, guys, welcome back to Extra Dirty.
Starting point is 00:00:39 I have my good friend here. I can't even take you seriously. I can't take myself seriously. I don't know if you've been able to tell that by now. Introduce yourself. My name is Mike Maylack from the Impulsive Podcast. And also friend of the show and friend of Hallie Batch held her long time here. So happy to be joining her in the studio today.
Starting point is 00:00:57 We're going to be talking about mental unhealth. We're going to be talking about the science behind trips, the size of my penis, as well as SSRIs and many other things. Welcome to the show. We have to squeeze something. wholesome in here at some point. That's the tip I'm on right now. No, yeah. I feel like it should be like 90% messy.
Starting point is 00:01:15 And like the other 10% we can like, you know, bring us back down to earth. The mental health stuff. Yeah, that's good. I feel like we have good answer on that. I'm going to be honest. I'm mentally unwell right now. Why? My anxiety's through the roof, dude.
Starting point is 00:01:30 I started this new like, do you notice how as a society we've just decided it's okay to just pump your body full of whatever thing is like hot that week? Like vodka? No. Oh, like peptides? Yeah, like pet tides and like different like supplements. They have me on some thing like, okay, so I've been on this like crazy hormonal journey for like the past five years, right? I've been on testosterone.
Starting point is 00:01:51 Okay. Started at about 37 years old. No, 36 years old. This is like a big topic in the Mayo world now. 10 years ago. I just said five years ago. So five years ago I started. And then as of recently, because of the.
Starting point is 00:02:08 the bullying online related to my non-children, right, bearing at my age, that's not really the only reason. I want to have the option to have a child if I so choose to do so. Testosterone kills your sperm. Ladies, if you're watching this right now, your man's on test. Yeah, you're liking that five, six times a daily pounding from that TRT, but there's nothing swimming in there. So if you're trying to get pregnant, it's not going to, it's not going to happen. Wait, really? Yeah. I feel like I would do the opposite effect. So, exactly, can you bank your sperm? So that's what I'm doing right now. So exogenous testosterone when injected tells your male body,
Starting point is 00:02:45 I don't need to use this system to produce testosterone and sperm because I'm getting it elsewhere. Your body will always prioritize systems and shut other systems down when they're not needed. So for the past five years, my body's not produced any of its own test or sperm. So. But it makes you wear here. Yeah, your libido is with a roof. Oh, maybe all get on it. Some girls do.
Starting point is 00:03:04 Really? As a girl beard. As a female, potentially. Hallie Baird Chelder? Right now I'm Halley Baldschilder. That would be a twist. So am I. I'm always.
Starting point is 00:03:14 I'm Mikey Baldelder. Yeah. But yeah. So I'm like over the past month I got off it. Are you feeling weird? Yeah. Well, not only that,
Starting point is 00:03:21 but then I started adding in other. NED. I'm on a bunch of HCG. I'm on like a bunch of different peps. And you know what I'm saying? You just never know how you're going to feel. In the past few days, it's just been like my left hand.
Starting point is 00:03:33 It'll just be numb. Oh. For no reason. I feel like you should get that checked out. No, because when you, live life like that, you're just always at the doctor. Like, how many days have you woken up with like a heart thing?
Starting point is 00:03:42 And you're like, my chest is going to explode. Well, like most weekends. That's what I'm saying. Yeah, but like I've been the doctor in like three years. That's not good. That's not just you're like, well, you were always rich, I guess. But you're like independently rich now. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:55 But like I just more like what if I have like a incurable disease and like 10 days to live? Like I'd rather not know. You would rather not know if you had 10 days left to live. Yeah. If you had 10 days left to live, you wouldn't want to know that. And I don't even want to say this. No, like. You wouldn't want to try some like crazy shit.
Starting point is 00:04:13 Like there's nothing you're not doing right now because you don't think it's will be good for you in the next like five years your life. But if you had 10 days, maybe you do it. Well, I'm going to a visa tonight with you. Let's get into it, dog. Hallie made it on our first trip. First half trip. But I'm not going to be on this trip. That's all right.
Starting point is 00:04:31 I'm reformed. That's completely fine. Hopefully your other. There. My trips are not like that. Any trips that I go on with my friends. are not like that. There's no expectations. Every girl has usually has their own bed or bedroom with another girl or whatever. Like there's no expectation. This is an interesting topic because as you've
Starting point is 00:04:48 seen more and more on TikTok and Instagram over this summer, everybody's talking about these trips, these Santero pay trips. It's been like that for the past couple years. You just got off one. I've not, and I just got back from San Jose on Friday, but I've never done Europe summer because I'm a Man Tucker girl. Correct. Yeah. So this is all new to you. You did, but you did Santerpe. What did you think? I really liked it. It was a brand trip, but like they wanted to like actually like rip it and like made sure we all had fun we went to the best spots and it was a blast and you got yeah you guys went to some of the you went to what's the club there called again lilies lilies right you went there so that's a good spot i don't think you went to shalona right
Starting point is 00:05:21 no in the day shalona's like one of the hot spots in central pay we went to a beach club during the day um towards like that got hotel area gg maybe or something like something like there's so many spots there's so many yeah central bay is cool abiza is crazy abiza is like like we had David Ghetto on the show and he obviously has been a DJ for what 20, 30, whatever years now. And he's very clear. Like Abiza is separated completely from everywhere else on the planet. Like Miami gets close at times, but like Abiza's insane. I'm like scared.
Starting point is 00:05:49 You kind of should be a little bit, but you're only there for, you're only there for what, three nights? Yeah, which is fucking crazy that I came back to do this. Yeah, which is, but it's good though. Dudey calls. But anyways, on these trips, right? Yeah. Sometimes like girls will tell me or like girls will go on the trips and they'll and this is like a common experience from them.
Starting point is 00:06:12 They'll get there and the guys will look at and be like, oh, thought there was another bed. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. Like you'll have to share. Like kind of like. Creepy. Yeah, you really never know like what you're going to get when you go on those trips. And like I try to like make this as relatable to the audience as possible.
Starting point is 00:06:28 But maybe there's really no way to make it relatable that like a guy you don't know may have like DM'd you. and said like, yo, I'm doing a Biza with my homies. We have boats. We have choppers. We have $30,000 on night club bookings. You're going to be eating at Casamaca and Leo and all these world-class restaurants. Yeah. Do you want to come because you're hot or because you have a hot group of friends or whatever?
Starting point is 00:06:48 I think somewhere else would be down. No, no, no. This is very common. This is very common. I feel like I'm not a naive person. And if some random guy asked me to come to Sandra Pay, like, it would be a red flag to me. I'm really only going because I've known you for like 10 years. You're not that you're not like.
Starting point is 00:07:03 I'm not a thought. Well, I want to clarify, too. Not every girl that, like, dude, on our trips, the 90% of the people on the trips are not fornicating with people in the house. You know what I'm saying? Like, it's like, now I can't speak for other people's, people's programs they call them. Like, that's what they're called. Like, when you have a program, right? It's like drivers and the amount of work that goes into the trips is crazy.
Starting point is 00:07:26 It's like your own brand trip. What time of the chef's coming at? Like, what days are they cooking? Like, what days are the restaurants? How much are we spending on Dom Dala on Friday and like all this stuff? and it's a lot, especially for a childless, 41-year-old, old, unc. Do you even want kids? You want the option.
Starting point is 00:07:41 I want the option. I think it could be a good dad, Loki, though. I just did a vlog this past week where I, like, practiced parenting for 24 hours with Karina. It was pretty fun. I think the one thing that, like, I hadn't been expecting out of it was, it felt pretty cool to, like, know that the kid felt safe because I was, I was, I felt pretty cool to, like, know that the kid felt because I was there.
Starting point is 00:08:05 Like that, that, like, responsibility of that role and, like, knowing that, like, as you become an adult, like, you know this. Like, even as a man, like, I swear to you, like, there's so many times in life where metaphorically you wish you could, like, reach your hand out and, like, grab something that will make you feel safe. And as a kid, like, that's always, that was always your mom or your dad's hand. Yeah. Like, when you were crossing a street or, like, when you're walking through a store or whatever.
Starting point is 00:08:28 And, like, as you get older, like, those hands start to not. be around especially if you're like move across the country or you know as you get older you know don't even want to get into that but yeah you know so it's kind of cool like knowing that like you can offer that solace to someone in their like tender age and that was that was like an interesting thing that I've never really done before because as like an uncle my sisters are always around so something happens they just come in and get the kid so you've never supervised a kid without their parents around like that was the first time you ever like washed over a kid like babysat almost maybe yeah I guess babysitting is not really a man's job
Starting point is 00:09:02 I'm just supposed to make money. I'm playing trips. Whose kid was it? That's pretty much it. I want to create its friends. Okay. She just let us like use your kids for a couple hours. But it was pretty fun, honestly.
Starting point is 00:09:16 It was a good time. And could you see me having kids? I'm actually sneaky, super maternal. So not in this current, uh, Hallie era. And I'm not and you've, and you've certainly like changed a lot.
Starting point is 00:09:31 And I like I'd love to like get into like the different eras of like what we've known about it. Yeah. Because like I was thinking about it last night. You just told me you're like, I don't know. Like how do I like prep for this episode? You're like, yo, just come with mad stories. Which is like the hardest thing. Like I want I was like hoping you would say the exact opposite.
Starting point is 00:09:48 Like I'm gonna drive this thing. And you're like, yeah, just come with mad stories. Like now I have to do bits. But I knew I met you so. I've known you for so long for so long. For so long. I call it pre-boob alley or pre-ta alley. right like the early holiday is where i was just like yo this girl's fucking crazy like i got introduced
Starting point is 00:10:06 to her on the nightlife scene yeah and she was always not i mean she was and i mean like you you know how many girls i know and like around you were always in the 99th percentile like maniac like not scared to really rage till like late and like then hit me up and be like you'll never believe who i fought to last night and this was not now this is like Earlier days, although you didn't tell me yesterday that you got some good D. Yeah. Girls got to eat. Yeah, facts.
Starting point is 00:10:38 But I'm not like going out all the time and bringing someone home every time. When I first met you, that was more likely. Who was like, I was like. Okay, okay. So I remember when I first met you and that was like when we like had our like little fling. Right. And we smashed. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:53 Did we ever smash? Yeah. But it was just so. It was so late. But anyways, then the next time I saw you. Yeah. You're in Boston. It was St. Patrick's Day.
Starting point is 00:11:03 You were wearing all green. And I like go, I like going to this hotel room at this party. And there's like people playing beer pong. And it's like a bunch of like creators and like influencers as Portnoy would say. And all of a sudden, there's Hallie Batchelor. And she had just gotten boobs. So she was really, really, she was ripping and feeling it like crazy. And I was like, dude, this girls.
Starting point is 00:11:27 And I, there's, there's definitely been like a couple. A couple of my friends, you know, creators that... Probably a handful. Yeah, a handful that you've had a good time with. I'm trying to think of like, I'm off the top of my head. I mean, I can name for your... Trying to think of who else. And then definitely like some like...
Starting point is 00:11:47 Some... Oh, yeah. But I will say this as someone that truly knows how things look behind the scenes. Like, you definitely have like changed. I think, I think like... I used to look a lot different too. I used to be like yossified, like tons of filler and bleaching. blonde hair and I looked kind of nuts.
Starting point is 00:12:05 But it like it worked for the time for that era. Yeah. I think like the new you is just like. Clean girl. For the most part. And it's like messed up. It's messed up because we had Gary V on our show this weekend. I love Gary Vee.
Starting point is 00:12:20 He's just such a kind person and just like gives everybody their flowers like really just like ask you questions. He genuinely cares about you as a person. Like I love that. Yeah. He was like dude. He started the show of this. He's like, I see how much.
Starting point is 00:12:32 you get online from the audience like you're always like every day there's a viral video like too old can't be doing this settle down start a family like that whole thing right i don't want people give the fuck well we got into that too but the first thing you said was like you're telling me and this like goes for you and the reason i'm bringing you up is like you're telling me like you give someone this opportunity to go like travel the world with like the hot like models pageant winners Instagram whatever you want to call it like travel to go on boats eat dinners like really like live this like really awesome life and be able to see the world that these people are going to be like,
Starting point is 00:13:03 nah, not, got to pump the brakes. I'm a couple years too old for this. Got to settle down and start a family right now. They would all jump at it. I just think people like are bitter and agreed with envy. Agreed. And like I've never got insulted by someone I want to trade lives with. No, never.
Starting point is 00:13:19 Never, ever, ever. So I keep that mindset. Because they're too busy living an awesome life too. And I think the messed up thing about it is and one of the ways that I sometimes like side with the audience and like understand their their way of like looking at things is it's hard to tell who lives a life like we are so blessed to be able to and still remains a good person yeah and for the audience like they can't they can't tell they don't know what goes on behind the scenes
Starting point is 00:13:48 they don't know what life looks like yeah i can say for myself i'm such an imperfect person like i am there are so many things that i wish that i was better at there are so many things that i wish that I was taught better and mistakes that I wish that I didn't make. But every single day I can wake up and without a shadow of a doubt, say with my full chest in the mirror that I'm a good person. Yeah. There's a difference. A very, very good person. I've stayed really, really grounded. If you, if you ever reach out to me online and you say, I'm having a really bad day today, God forbid I'm thinking about doing something to myself or my sister's struggling with an addiction, not to get crazy specific, but the number of people have reached out and been like, I don't have a way to
Starting point is 00:14:29 bury my grandmother. Like I don't have the money to bury my grandmother. I'll send, dude, like, yeah. If you don't know about the behind the scene, I will be there for you. If you talk to me at a bus stop because you're having a bad day, I will sit with you as long as it takes to make you feel better. That's the type of person that I am. That's never changed about me because I grew up on the other side. Yeah. I know what I know what it feels like and looks like to be 100% hopeless in this life to have absolutely no hope, to have absolutely nothing to be on the streets, homeless with no one there to support you, no one there to help you and to just be suffering. And when you go through that, it builds an empathy in you that really just doesn't go away.
Starting point is 00:15:07 Yeah. And so I have no problem with people like giving me shit because of the life that I live. I wish that there's a lot of demons that like I don't sleep well with that I try to run from. And my mom called me about it yesterday. And she's like, you know, like, why do you do this? Why do you travel and go all these places? And I don't have an answer for that. I don't know if it's just because I can't be by myself or I can't.
Starting point is 00:15:27 I feel the same way. You know? I just made a video about that being like, I feel like I'm like, go, go, go. And I can't tell if like I'm having the best life slash summer ever or if I'm like kind of spiraling, crashing out and like running from feeling something and just sitting with my thoughts for a few seconds. I'm very much a work in progress. And I think, I think like regardless, like you're you're not going to, you're not going to be able to convey that to the majority of the audience. They're just not going to get it. Because because the majority of the audience is really young.
Starting point is 00:15:56 A lot of the people are really. For me, it's more like the youngest would be, I would say in my personal audience would be like from a mass standpoint like 19, 20. Yeah. So not super young. But even like those, they just don't get it. They don't understand like how complex life gets, especially for some people. Like, you know, like that whole time in my, in my like early adolescence, my early 20s and like late teens, like I didn't do college. I didn't go to school.
Starting point is 00:16:22 I didn't make friends. I buried a lot of friends. I hugged a lot of grieving moms. I went to rehabs. I went to, you know, felony court sentencings. You know what I'm saying? Like, and now, and was at a low that first of all, it's hard for people to relate to to begin with,
Starting point is 00:16:37 for a lot of people, for some people they can, you know, for those people. But then also to now be at a high people can't relate to. Where every day is like a different conversation with this, you know, billionaire business owner or this boat or that thing or that thing or, you know, I'm building this brand or opening burger shops or doing this show or interviewing the president.
Starting point is 00:16:54 Like so both of my polls have been, hard for people to relate to and the idea that I've been at both is almost impossible to relate to. Yeah. It's probably hard to like, you know, because you can feel things on both sides of the spectrum of it. So you're like, that must be like conflicting sometimes. It's hard. It's hard and but, but also the, I mean, you'll never hear me like, it's so hard. You know what I'm saying? Like life is a creator. Yeah. Like so, because I've seen it and I wake up every day and I'm like, dude. It's not. I'm so fucking blessed. Yeah. So blessed. And the opportunities I've been given and and the ability to like use the gifts and tell my story and there's never a day where I'm like
Starting point is 00:17:32 you know I really wish I was pouring concrete today yeah you know like those people will work these people the people watching your show work yeah they work like they go to jobs they deal with people they don't like bosses and all the shit and like I don't have to do that and I'm blessed every day because of that and that's like the mentality that I bring every day yeah I feel that it is a crazy job this people argue it's like not even a job but it's a job in some ways For certain people more so than others. You know what I'm saying? Like there are creators out there who make,
Starting point is 00:18:04 and like this almost feels like a good segue into the pornoisse of it. Yeah, I was just going to say. There are creators out there, influencers. Yeah. Who shoot a brand deal. They do a little dance. And that's their job.
Starting point is 00:18:18 They might shoot one video a week or two videos a week and it's all short for them and they just have a cool format. And that's what they do. Then there are creators. that have been doing this for 10, 12, 14, 16 years. Yeah. Okay. Like Logan.
Starting point is 00:18:32 Like his brother. Like Jimmy. Beast. Like Tanna. Okay. That their entire life. Now, once again,
Starting point is 00:18:40 this is not comparing it to a real job. Is consumed by this thing that we do. And that's certainly how I feel like, yes, I have these trips that happen and I get to have a good time. I'm obviously shooting this whole trip. I'm a videographer coming. Oh, perfect.
Starting point is 00:18:52 But like, you know, shows, businesses, brand deals. It's just an always, It's 24-7. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? And so it just depends on what type of creator you are.
Starting point is 00:19:01 Mm-hmm. You know? Let's talk about the point in our stuff. Yeah. Because we both caught strays. And I don't even understand. He's an influencer. This conversation was going to look very different if we were like pre-Bri.
Starting point is 00:19:19 Because I think she already addressed this on her show with Josh. And she hit all the same notes I was going to say. Yeah. But like. I'll say this. he was very nice about it to me at least I want to talk about your side
Starting point is 00:19:35 because our strays were different in nature our strays were all different okay he prefaced with I like Mike we like Mike but and use me as the as the case study for an influencer okay I don't necessarily like 100% disagree with that sentiment
Starting point is 00:19:52 first of all Dave is I'm going to give him his flowers he's an icon of the space He built things that I've personally never built. He built a media conglomerate. He has hundreds of employees. He's built brands. He's been in the space longer than all of us.
Starting point is 00:20:10 So I'm not going to like, I didn't see it and feel like extremely disrespected in the way that he presented it. But to Bree's point, you're sitting in a lawn chair with a hat that says T by the sea. You're delivering a message about influencers on a social media. application, okay, TikTok and Instagram. Wearing his own merch. Wearing your merch and low-key being an influencer. Like, let's be honest, the pizza reviews are one of the most longstanding,
Starting point is 00:20:42 appreciated formats on the internet. Yeah. That is influencing. You're influencing people. You're creating short-form videos to influence people to do stuff. Yeah. So in my eyes, Dave is one of the OG influencers akin to ass influencer Jen Seltter, but to an, you know, not the same, not the same.
Starting point is 00:20:59 the same bubble, but they've been around just as long as each other. Yeah, that's true. So I was, I didn't feel disrespected, but with you, it was a little bit different. Well, like, I, so like, I've been, my parents got married on Nantucket. We've been coming to Nantucketka forever. I was running around Nantucketka before I even started the shit. Yeah. And I will agree with the points where like, I, I don't want Nantucketka to become like,
Starting point is 00:21:21 like, like, lose like the, you know, charm. Charmed that like the, it's what happened to the Hamptons, you know? Like, I feel like, we. like they do brand trips and shathamptons. I feel like there should be no brand trips to Nantucket. Like I agree with those points. But on the flip of that, like the no influencers thing, I just think that he was kind of taking a jab at like me and my siblings because we run
Starting point is 00:21:45 around and get fucked up like causing mayhem on Nantucket. But we've always done that. I just recorded now. It's also not. It's also like, yo, it's also not the Vatican. Okay. Like, like, let's like I, I get, as someone who has also not even close to you or Dave, but has, has been the Nantucketka a number of times, you know, been to the chicken box, been to Cisco. I know Jay Harmon and I'll get into that in a second with that, how that call went and, and the white elephant and all these different places. I know the island well enough. Yeah. People party there. They do botchrous shit there. It's not like some like, it's not like you're in, you know, like some ultra prestige. We're not an amusement.
Starting point is 00:22:30 You know what I'm saying? Like so that idea and what did a lot of it start from was page with Mr. Rogers. Well, or the store. So the Mr. Rogers thing, I didn't even know how that tied to it.
Starting point is 00:22:42 But I know she got some like, you know, slack for that. But like also she just opened Dairy Boy. Yeah. On like Nantuck at the Azzer flagship store. Right. There's a line,
Starting point is 00:22:53 rain, shine, tornado. There is a line down the block every single day. Yeah. And I think that's pissed off a lot of the local business owners and stuff. There's this basket shop with as like these famous like it's like a staple. Like it's like old money vibes like woven baskets. It's like artists like you know like handcraft spin or whatever goes back.
Starting point is 00:23:16 Artisan. Artisan. That was an English major. Is that the word? I don't even know if that's right. You know like where they're like you know at the whittling and shit. Yeah. So they go for like like 18.
Starting point is 00:23:28 to 13 grand or something crazy like that and they put like a no influencer sign. Yeah. And I think Paige just took it personally because like Paige is also like an OG influencer. And it kind of felt like with Derry Boy being like a new store on Island that it was kind of like a jab at her and her business doing well. So so Paige wasn't called out specifically, but she responded to the no influencers thing. Yeah. And she just thought it was like fucked up.
Starting point is 00:23:54 And I like agree, but like I don't know any of like people in our. What do we, what are we even talking about? I don't know. No, not that. Just like a store that's selling multi-thousand-dollar hand-woven baskets. Is that what you're talking? And then to post that thing on social media with a whole thing is like, kind of like. This is what's called trying to hold on to a reality that no longer exists and to what's called fight fate.
Starting point is 00:24:24 Okay. Influencers are here. It works. Honestly. Okay. It was rage bait. and we all like all the little influencers got triggered. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:30 And maybe maybe it was or maybe or maybe she truly was just trying to like maintain this traditionality on the island. People are done churning butter. It's over. It's not coming back. And like that's how I feel about a lot of stuff. Like I have no problem raising my hand to like things that are done wrong in this world. But I've also come to understand at my age and energy level that you just can't win
Starting point is 00:24:55 every battle. And if you're trying to fight an anti-creator, anti-influencer battle, you are going to lose. You are not winning that battle. This is almost insane to say, but like we are the new celebrities. We are, and I hate saying that in such a term. It gives me the ick. Walk around, walk around Lollapalooza with me. Walk around West Village with me. Like, dude, it's, it's every single second. It's a picture. It's a photo. It's a crowd. Yeah. And that's, I'm, I didn't even ask for that reality. I'm blessed and thankful for it, but that is the world that we live in now. And there are people that don't get it.
Starting point is 00:25:32 They don't like it. And especially with someone like Paige where. I think Paige is more like celebrity. What she has done with her brand. Yeah. And her personal brand is nothing short of magnificent. She's a page is an incredible person. I've also known her for as long as me.
Starting point is 00:25:54 seven plus years have witnessed her transition from somewhat party girl to to what she is now. Yeah. How she uses her voice to inspire girls to be classy to empower themselves. As a female owner of the other store, I just couldn't imagine doing anything to Slight Page because it's like what she's doing is just so empowering for women, you know? I agree. And that's what I said. And honestly, I just think it's like a generational argument. Like they were trying to like start up like a cultural conversation.
Starting point is 00:26:32 Because people just, influencers get so much shit in general. But I think you just can't even like explain to someone that's in their like 50, 60, 70s, honestly what we do. Like they're not going to get it. Yeah. I feel like most people don't get it. So like why even try to argue? So like going back to the celebrity statement I made, it's kind of weird. Like I just went and saw the Odyssey.
Starting point is 00:26:51 Okay. I look at those people on the screen as celebrity. They're celebrities. They're celebrities. The things that they do, I cannot do. I don't even claim to be able to do them. Yeah, extremely talented. Do you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:27:02 Yeah. Like Cervantes in their space. Those are celebrities. Yeah. But when I made that statement earlier, that's not what the kids think. Like these like 18 to like 26 year olds or even younger than that, they look at the streamers, the podcasters, the creators, the TikTokers as like their celebs. Well, because it's so parasocel now because we give them so much access to like our lives.
Starting point is 00:27:23 Yeah. So they feel like, you know, they know us. Yeah. They know our dog's names. They know our brother's names. Yeah. And it's like what I try to do is I try to create things outside of this sphere that I can point to when people try to discount or demean me as just an influencer. So like I wrote the book because obviously I wanted to tell the story.
Starting point is 00:27:45 But also it's just really helpful when somebody tries to just throw me in one of those 13,000 hour woven baskets. And I'm like, yo, I don't make TikToks. I do because it's part of my business. I'm a bestselling author. Like I'm a USA Today bestselling author. I've sold more books with my book. I believe than any other creator that's ever written a book.
Starting point is 00:28:04 Really? I don't think anyone has as many sales as me. I mean, it's got more ratings, more trackable sales on Amazon than I think than any other creator in the space. I mean, Dave just put his book out. I don't know how it stacks up, but I mean, my book signed for a movie with CAA.
Starting point is 00:28:18 It has a documentary already paid for. Oh, so you're going to make it into a movie. They're trying to. so long. It does. Development takes so long. That would be a good movie. Been a wild ride, dude. Do you guys who would play you? I asked Miles Tyler. Miles Taylor?
Starting point is 00:28:33 Yeah. Honestly, that'd be good. Too expensive. Too expensive? Yeah. Yeah, he's definitely A-Lis. I think Timothy Shalameh and like those guys are also up there. Yeah, for sure. I mean, Timmy's probably, I would say Timmy's who's like the most hot, who's the highest kid actor right now? Awesome Butler, Jacob
Starting point is 00:28:49 Alorty. It's funny because like a few years ago it was like Paul Rudd. Oh yeah, Tom cruise. But I feel like that's kind of like they're kind of dating out. It's not crazy to say. No, you're right. Like, you know, like new like, once again, social media supported celebrity. Like it used to be Brad Pitt and Leo and like, they're still, I mean, Leo's massive. He's the bit, he, in my eyes, Leo's for my generation at least. And like, I'll like even go down to yours, even though I think technically were, are you a millennial? I'm like lost your genzy. Okay. So you, so I'm not. I'm on the cusp. Okay. 97.
Starting point is 00:29:23 I think was lost. So I don't know about for your gym, but technically, like, I would say Leo is like the most prolific actor of our of my lifetime. Are you millennial? Yeah. And then it's boomers above that? Yeah, boomers beyond that, yeah. But yeah, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:29:35 I mean, it's, it's definitely a weird space and we'll see how it like continues to evolve. I didn't feel like super disrespected by the way that Dave presented it and like. No, he even said he was like, I like Haley and didn't even see my name right. Oh yeah. He didn't say Haley. Haley and the brothers are running around. And also, by the way, another thing worth noting is like he was, high out of his mind on like what like post dental meds or something like that yeah i just like
Starting point is 00:30:00 love how he sticks his toe into all the beef also like i was also thinking about this like he's like brianna's boss are they still still now she's with bar stool and as a show i'm trying to i'm trying to picture a like making a video like just always like i'm catching a stray not because him and bry Nick, not him and Bree like beef because he knows, listen, Dave understands the value of being the heel, right, as I say in the W, W, W.E. Right. Like, he knows what it's like to be the bad guy. And if, and if you can own being the bad guy, he doesn't, Dave Portnoy does not give a single solitary shit about anything you say, about anything you say about anything I say. He does not care. As soon as he sees this video, if there was anything in,
Starting point is 00:30:50 this that he decided he didn't like or not fucking didn't like that he could twist and then turn into more content to create more views for his entities he'll do it for example here's one what did I call you and say the day the video came out you called me and said let's go to nantucket we're going to nantucket and we're throwing a party no influencers festival okay on nantucket so I so I called you I texted you I texted Harmon page well hold on I texted you I texted Paige Lorenz, I texted Bree, and another stray that was caught, manager Miles from Palm Tree, who's friends with Dave and randomly got, randomly got dragged into it.
Starting point is 00:31:32 Wait, really? So I texted Jasmine and I texted Manager Miles and said, hey, did you guys see this video? And Miles said, yes. I said, okay, Miles, I want to do a event on Nantucket. Yeah. And to playfully spite Dave. And I would hope Dave would come there. Maybe it would be whatever, right?
Starting point is 00:31:48 Yeah. I reach out to Miles Miles, Miles like green light, whatever you need, do it, right? I reach out to you guys, you're all in, right? So now it's time I have to start reaching out to venues on Nantucket to make this happen. So I first, I think let's do it at the box. Seeing pages numbers coming out of her store, 1,500, 2,000 people a day. We can't do it at the box. I need a bigger venue.
Starting point is 00:32:10 Yeah. Call Jay Harmon at Cisco. Been friends with Jay Harmon for a decade. Okay? Call Jay at Cisco. Jay, need your Venmo. No problem. whatever you need. I said, okay, cool. We're doing this like kind of anti-Dave Portnoye festival.
Starting point is 00:32:26 I get a text back that's like, well, hold on a second. And as soon as I said that, he called me and he's like, hey, so we're going to need to get Dave signed off on this. Yeah. And I was like, okay, wow. Yeah, because let's make no mistake. Dave is a very, very powerful person. Yeah. And has a lot of friends. He said, we can do it, but I want you to call Dave and ask him if he would do it as a, fundraiser for Miss Peaches. I said, dude, we're on completely different wavelengths here. This was a very playful fuck Dave. Yeah. No influencers event. If we're now raising money for him, it kind of did. Yeah. It's the exact opposite. No, yeah. So it just so it didn't work. And,
Starting point is 00:33:05 you know, you're not going to go to Dave's Island and get anybody to cooperate with you. I'm just like he just bought a house there. I don't like that people refer to his Dave's Island, even though he does own the most expensive house there. Most expensive house definitely has been living there and posting there. But no, you have an equal, you have an equal right to it. And by the way, so is fucking everyone. So does everyone. If you want to go to Nantucket and you have the money
Starting point is 00:33:28 to go to Nantucket, first of all, to take the fast ferry or to take a jet blue fly or whatever you're going to do and you're going to spend the thousands of dollars it costs to stay at White Elephant or wherever we want to stay. Do it. Have a blast. Have a blast. Go there. Fucking go get smoked at the chicken box.
Starting point is 00:33:44 I don't do that. Don't do that. Mr. Rogers, please. Don't do that. No one's island. I'm sure there's probably a Native American somewhere saying like Dave Portnoy. Fuck you. Fuck you, dog.
Starting point is 00:33:55 You know what I'm saying? Like, no one owns the island, dude. Yeah. I mean, I get it. It is kind of like annoying when people have their phones out and they're trying to like in like clothing stores and shit. Like I'm not even like that type of influencer. You can't fight fate, dude. These kids, these kids are going to do what they want to do.
Starting point is 00:34:13 You want to try to stop AI? Like you want to, you want to, like, you want to like. Bro, what do you think is going to happen? Yeah. This is the new world we live in. Everybody wants to be a fucking inf. Everybody wants. The number one job if you ask kids is I want to be a YouTuber or a streamer or an influencer.
Starting point is 00:34:30 Celebrity has become democratized. If you can create content that people want to watch, you are now a celebrity. That's fucking crazy, but that's where we live. You know, it's weird. I never, like, wanted to be an influencer. Yeah. I mean, I obviously didn't. I was just, I wasn't working.
Starting point is 00:34:50 Like I graduated college. And I was just like hosting on Antucket and shit. And then I would come back and just like rip it at Tao shit. And I was just like posting the shit I was doing and being really unfiltered. And somehow I became one. John Schwartz hit me up one day. And he was like, he was like, hey, I got an idea. And Schwartz and Schwartz does this from time to time.
Starting point is 00:35:11 And some of them are really good. This one was really good. And he said, I think, I think we should talk to Hallie Batchelder about starting a podcast. And I said, I don't know that she wants to do that. I think she really is enjoying the short form. She's putting out these videos. She's posting on Instagram. And he's like, have you seen her engagement?
Starting point is 00:35:31 Like her, she's growing a community. And I was like, yeah, I mean, I see it. I just don't know if she wants to like get into the weeds of like doing an hour and hour and a half shows. Yeah. I think maybe two weeks after that you signed with Unwell. Yeah. I think it was like really like right at that exact time.
Starting point is 00:35:48 So I was like, I don't think she, I don't think she's going to do that. And then you sign with Unwell for the podcast literally like two weeks later. And by the way, I never, I never in my life ever wanted to manage fucking talent. Like that's just something that I. John wanted you to manage me to like produce slash manage. Like under just I mean, the majority of the majority of this whole unwell thing is like kind of one of a kind. Like we don't like the majority of people that do shows and our industry are not managed by or manage or managed by a label. Really? They just do it themselves?
Starting point is 00:36:18 Of course. Isn't it like expensive and more. If I told you how much we spent on impulsive, you would, you would actually shit your pants. Really? It's insane. Because we think about it. We have to say, we don't ever do a show in the same city. We do shows wherever Logan is or whatever, all the shit. Team equipment. We probably spend 50,000 a month on travel. If not more. We probably, we probably spend over. And that just comes out of the show.
Starting point is 00:36:44 It comes out of my pocket, our pocket, whatever, whatever we have from fanatics and sponsors. We probably, We probably spend a million dollars here on that show, just on production, travel, clipping. Our clips do well when I came on your show. Your clips did really well when you came on a show. You did really well when you came on a show. Yeah, I was chilling. That was a great show.
Starting point is 00:37:06 I mean, we talked about, you know, a lot of mental health stuff. Yeah. We talked about some sex stuff. We did talk about some sex stuff. Yeah. I don't talk about as much sex stuff as they used to when I started this. your first year as a podcaster or creator is the best year that you will ever have if you are new to this space if you are just getting into this there's nothing like the first year the shit i was saying yeah the shit i was saying on the first year or two of impulsive and in my vlogs and content insane you there was not a celebrity there was not a hook up that was safe i was just airing everything oh yeah that's what i started to learn that you can't like air it's everything. I don't talk about anything.
Starting point is 00:37:50 Like, I talk about my struggles. Yeah. Right? But like, dude, like, I, there's so many crazy stories. Have you ever gotten like a cease and desist or like someone asked you to take that down? For sure. But we, we just take it down. We don't fight back on that shit. Oh, really? Yeah. You don't want an episode up. We'll take it down. One of the reasons we get the guests we get on our show, which is by the way, everyone. Yeah. Presidents, athletes, act. It does not matter. We've had, We've done 520 episodes and had some of the, you know, really great and not so great people on. Who's your, who's the worst?
Starting point is 00:38:22 My least favorite episode or my least, or the worst person we've ever had on. The worst person. I mean, dude, we had fucking Alex Jones on the show who told Sandy Hook families that their kids were actors and they never died. Like we, we, we, and by the way, I went full bore on him, told him I was offered $100,000 to punch him in the face. He smashed his head on the counter. Like, we have some really, really iconic. iconic fucking moments on impulsive like internet history like Tyson sitting down and taking five grams of mushrooms the second he sat down on the show
Starting point is 00:38:52 we had you know love him hate him I'm assuming probably a decent amount of hate in this audience we had the president on you know like we've had a lot of crazy episodes Tom Brady Kevin Hart shack um Patrick Mahomes Hallie Batchelder Alex Cooper plus Sophia pre-breakup oh shit I mean we've had we've we've we've really done a lot of shows. We've been doing it since November of 2018. You know, we're coming up on eight years now doing it. We'll see how much longer it goes for.
Starting point is 00:39:23 You know, I mean, I would love to do the show forever. Logan is a very busy person. Would you just keep it yours? I mean, I can't. I would never be able to take the name. Oh, shit, true. Yeah, I mean, that would make no sense. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:34 No, no, no. If we, if we stopped doing the show, we would just move, we would move to new entities. The show is the clips still do really fucking well. Yeah. I mean, we get clips that get millions. like always get clips to get millions of millions of views on them. And I think, I think regardless of view count, I think there's like a certain level of like,
Starting point is 00:39:52 truthfully like a certain level of like not clout the way we describe it, but clout and power that comes along with having done the show. Like it's almost like a write of passage. Like did you feel that way like when you were coming on like you were coming on something that like has had so many guests on before and it was like a moment where you felt like you were doing something that like meant something? Yeah, it felt like more than other, like that in Collar Daddy was too big shows. I mean, yeah, for sure.
Starting point is 00:40:20 That I was like, damn, like this is crazy. Yeah. Yeah. I remember you were like 30 minutes early. You were like sitting there on the couch. Very timely. Yeah. Everyone always chirps me for that.
Starting point is 00:40:29 It's rude to be late. No, no, 100%. It's very rude to be late. Yeah. I like that you understand that and have that awareness. But, and you did a great show. So love the podcast. Still love doing it.
Starting point is 00:40:41 Love that we get to. We just had Lindsay Finn. on this past week. She was hilarious. Gary V. We've got an episode of Pooka and Akua from the Rams coming out. We get such a broad like, wait. There's so many like different areas. We do everything. We do UFO people. We do scientists. We've had Neil DeGrasse Tyson. Like we've had, dude, we've, I'm telling you, I know it's really easy to look at Logan or look at me and be like, these are bros. They're douchebags. I don't like these people. Like whatever. Like it's a Logan swam upstream his whole career. A lot of it from his own doing. Some of
Starting point is 00:41:12 just because people are jealous or don't like them, whatever. Yeah. But I think we put on pretty good shows. We ask a lot of questions where it's more interview based, like you said earlier. It's like, you know, and because of the connections we have, we get really great people on the show. I would always ask people to give it a shot, to give it a chance and see how they feel. And is it easier to have like two of you in there? I feel like you're like more like the jokester and he's like.
Starting point is 00:41:36 It's way easier, especially when you get to a cadence like we have where we know exactly what's happening. the other person's mind. Yeah. 24-7 where we use like completely unseen hand taps and signals and like looks that people would never pick up on. Oh, really? Yeah, because we've been doing it for so long. And we've done hundreds and hundreds of episodes.
Starting point is 00:41:56 I know when he's starting to lull out, obviously like you know this, but like anybody watches the show, no, like I'm, I'm majority of the time doing the questioning and driving the direction. Mm-hmm. And then on moments where I feel like he really gets interested in. topic he'll like pop in heavy like on an episode where we're talking about like Pokemon or collectibles or wrestling we only interview wrestlers you know yeah it depends on his passion level I'm passionate about everything like I can get into
Starting point is 00:42:22 any yeah I think you could talk to wall for I can and how much of that you actually want to listen to that's up to you but you know I try to I try to I don't know I'm very long-winded which is why podcasts work for me should we talk about Abiza a little bit more I feel like I want to like yeah get into the weeds what we're doing give me the schedule these programs are crazy people People spend a lot of money on them. We're arriving. We're settling into the house.
Starting point is 00:42:47 We're going to be going to a lot of dinners. This is a special week in Abiza because everyone is throwing parties. So like normally speaking for like any average person that's going to Abiza that doesn't know people that are throwing a million dollar parties, they would be going to clubs the majority of the time. Abiza is the biggest club city on the planet. There's nothing even close. Maybe Berlin, maybe. know, but you've got Universe, which is the biggest club in the world. You've never seen anything like this before. It's like a music festival inside. It has multiple rooms. There's DJs in the bathroom.
Starting point is 00:43:21 It is the craziest thing you've ever seen in your entire life. You've got their sister club, Hyabiza, which is equal ultra club. We're talking about like thousands of covers, like thousands and thousands of people in this place. You've got absolutely timeless places like Pasha and Amnesia. and then really kind of like insane, I guess like what you would say like gospel kind of, which would be DC-10. So DC-10 is where they host Circle Locke. It's very like starts at 5 a.m. type thing, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:43:57 Am I getting it hungover on this? Yes. 100%. It's trying to be good this week. Be as good as you want. You'll meet some people out there that are sober. Really? Oh yeah, 100% that are fully sober.
Starting point is 00:44:09 Is it like, do people go to the beach during the day? Yes, there's John Dahl and there's Blue Marlin. And then there's and then there's lunches on Formantera. I do want to tell you this, Formantera in my eyes is one of the most beautiful places on Earth. It's a boat ride from a visa. We have a boat. You're going to miss it because you won't be there on Friday.
Starting point is 00:44:30 So none of this applies to you. Oh, great. But Forman Tara might be one of the most beautiful places on Earth. It's absolutely stunning blue water, big like lunch places similar to what you do in Sanctroval. pay but a piece is crazy make no mistake it's the craziest place on earth very very very late nights that go all the way till like 2 3 p.m. if you do drugs which i don't so i'm asleep by you know whatever yeah to a 4 a m 5m i don't do drugs either yeah well then you'll then you'll be going to sleep at the same time as me then i guess you know i have some questions for you know
Starting point is 00:45:03 that are just more like for guys yeah where your stomping grounds in new york and where are you going out with your friends. I'm out exclusively at Tao establishments in New York City, so I am spending a lot of time at Crane Club. I like love Crane Club. So do I. I love Crane Club. It's got great food.
Starting point is 00:45:22 I love their burger. I love the team at Tau. I love John Schwartz, obviously. And honestly, like, I know this, that already sounds biased, but because I do love John so much, but they've been throwing some massive, like, really celebrity heavy parties at Crane Club lately. No, Crane Club has been like, the same. spot. We got kicked off our table by LeBron James last week.
Starting point is 00:45:42 We did? Yes. You were already like already skirting around. But like remember that, remember that table that we put together at Crane? Oh. Or like a couple weeks ago. Sometimes I forget to like look up.
Starting point is 00:45:51 It's fine. And I remember at the end of the night we were sitting there and the staff at Crane came over. They're like, Mike, uh, we need you to move like, go to a different table. And I'm like, what do you mean? Like what table do you want to go to? She goes, any table. And I'm like, oh my God, dude.
Starting point is 00:46:04 Who's here? Fucking the president? Like what's going on? So I get everybody up and move over and all of a sudden. I see a couple of security guards walking and then LeBron goes and sits like right where you are sitting. Oh. Which is sunny. So like crane club has really become like.
Starting point is 00:46:17 Yeah. Like one of those places. But dude, I obviously am going to give my flowers to Shea. Like what Shea Margot is done in New York City. Like over the past year or two has been incredible. She's a great place. Everybody wants to be there. Shout out to everybody at Zero Bonn, Will Mackers.
Starting point is 00:46:30 That's not, I don't even look at that as like a New York spot. That's like a global place. I have a membership to the one in Vegas. Like Zero Bond's obviously been incredible. So all those places. What is that? a bad habit of yours that you don't care to fix? Honestly, my food intake.
Starting point is 00:46:43 Really? To be honest, yeah, because even though I would love to like lose a few pounds, like only like 10 or 15, thank you. I'm like 220 and I would love to be like 200. I'm 6.3. I don't know if I would be able to continue surviving without really enjoying the foods that I like to enjoy.
Starting point is 00:47:01 Yeah, I feel like that's kind of your thing with 1010 burger and like all the other things that I do. And like I would love to like kind of like have But I've also seen a lot of people that have like guys that have like gone GLP and they get like less girls and they get very like like like their face gets kind of like sunken. Yeah. And they are exhausted. They are exhausted. That's the other problem too and that scares me. Like I don't I don't want to not have the desire to go out and eat in New York City, which is the best food city in the world. You think food here is the best number one in the world. Hands down. There's 7,000 plus restaurants here that are all vying for your money and there's nowhere. close. I don't care if you're talking about Tuskney or Rome or anywhere. Like it does not matter. New York City is hands down the best food city in the world. Hands down. Number one. And any real chef or any real foodie will tell you the exact same thing. I just saw a take. I forget who did it.
Starting point is 00:47:56 But they were like New York's like the food sucks. The most ridiculous thing you ever. Yeah. I was watching. There's there's there's Michelin one, two, three stars here. There's you've got, You've got the best pizza, some of the best pizza on the planet, with exception, maybe New Haven and, you know, some of these places in Italy. Maybe, by the way. I prefer New York pizza over Italian pizza, to be honest. I like Connecticut pizza. New Haven's a pizza capital world.
Starting point is 00:48:21 Oh, really? I would say that. It's on our sign. Next time we're driving to Connecticut. Welcome to the pizza, New Haven, the pizza capital of the world. I forgot you. Number one. Peppy, Sally's is my favorite.
Starting point is 00:48:32 That's it. Have you ever stayed in a relationship too long? Yes, every single one of them. Every single one of them. And any guy that says otherwise is lying to. And the reason why- You get locked in when you're in a relationship. I've seen it and I'm like, whoa.
Starting point is 00:48:46 Like you're like everyone else. No girls, no liking pictures, no Instagrams, no DMs. Every single time has gotten toxic. Most of it due to lack of commitment when it comes time to really commit. Move-ins. The real next step. And also when it starts to affect my lifestyle,
Starting point is 00:49:05 which I do enjoy. I don't cheat. I don't text girls, women in a relationship. I don't do anything. But both of my past relationships have been a little bit too stifling. And that's not, that's nothing bad about either of the girls,
Starting point is 00:49:18 but they just, it just didn't really. They didn't like how much you were going out and stuff. Which I get. I also get that. And by the way, like, and this goes for you as well.
Starting point is 00:49:27 And I think for anybody, there sometimes are changes you need to make in your personal life to find and facilitate the relationship that you want for a, long-term relationship. I am not the best me right now. I'm just not. I'm still very childish in a lot of ways.
Starting point is 00:49:42 I'm still very selfish in a lot of ways as it pertains to my time. Yeah. And how much time I want to give to anyone besides myself or my family or a dog or whatever, right? Like that's just where I'm at. And it's something that I'm actively working on. I'm in therapy every single week. I'm trying to be the best me.
Starting point is 00:49:58 It's just not happening at the speed that the internet and the comment section would like to see. Yeah. Unfortunately, but that's just where we're at. And so both of those last relationships, I stayed in too long, things got toxic. Guys are not good. Many guys are not good at break at breakups. They're just not.
Starting point is 00:50:15 As Matt Damon said in the departed, I'm Irish. I'll stay in this thing until one of us is like dead basically. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? And sometimes it takes the girl. I mean, this last, this last breakup, I mean, it's coming up on the what, like probably two years now. Yeah. since we broke up.
Starting point is 00:50:32 I mean, it really took her just being like, I'm putting my foot down. Like, we, yeah, I think you would have lingered a little longer. I mean, dude, I was a shell of a human at that point. I know. I was just going to say how to breakups affect you, but I already know.
Starting point is 00:50:45 Really bad. No, it's not even the breakup. It's that dead, it's that dead period where you're like, where you're like, you're with the person and your, your anxiety is so high.
Starting point is 00:50:55 And you are, and you have so much love for the person. Like, I've loved both of my exes. I really did. Like, you know what I'm saying? And it's like, not to be ranked them, but especially this last one.
Starting point is 00:51:05 You know what I'm saying? Like I like, yeah, you know, we had a real relationship. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? And so I think, um, and I haven't dated since then. She's on like, I think boyfriend number three now since we broke up. Really? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:16 But this one's pretty serious. I feel like she wanted to get married. She does. She's a fucking normal human. Yeah. You know, like if you, if you get into a relationship with me, you have, there are certain things you're just going to have to accept and I'm just not the most normal person. No, I agree with that.
Starting point is 00:51:29 You're not normal at all. You didn't even bring up my. dick pick at all this whole episode. I messed up. Should I bring it up now? Wait, because I saw that. That was the funniest fucking clip I've ever seen when I said Sengok. That was so out of context.
Starting point is 00:51:48 Yeah, I know. It was out of context and was in a group chat. Did it for the clip. Well, Logan did that. He steered the clip a little bit when he said that you sent it specifically. But yeah, Zara was in there and Zaza. In Zaza. And you were showing us your favorite dick pick the night before at the
Starting point is 00:52:04 The brown table. A little bit of context. A little bit of context. There was multiple consents before this happened. I think it would, there was a, I think. You never sent it. Well, because I don't like to send stuff like that, but I think there was an ask, not from you. I think there was some sort of ask.
Starting point is 00:52:20 And I said, I can show you, but I need like five yeses from each person. You know what I'm saying? And as soon as I got that, I was like, all right, whatever. You could look at it. But no, I'm not sending my dick pick around. Fine. Although I probably should. You should.
Starting point is 00:52:33 You love that dick. It's like your favorite dick pick. Do you have nudes that you keep in stock so that you can send them when needed? I don't send nudes anymore. When's the last time you sent a nude? Probably not that long ago, but like I don't really send them unless I'm hammered. Okay. So when you need to take it, when you need to take a fresh nude.
Starting point is 00:52:54 I just get really scared. I got my Snapchat hacked and like all my videos of me like doing crazy shit to myself. They were saved. Oh, people have them. So they're out there somewhere. but they haven't landed on my desk. I think if I could tell that if I, I've always been like kind of
Starting point is 00:53:09 sexual like even since like I was like 16. Yeah. I made a sex tape when I was 16. Yeah. Like I'm talking proper sex tape. Like and by the way, hold on you have to hear this. Sex tape. Like on like a fact. Sex tape. You're so vintage. Okay. Was it black and white? No. It was not. It was like just before phones.
Starting point is 00:53:36 It was way before phones. I think the typewriter had just come out. No, it was on one that was like camcorders? Yes. It got stolen. I have no issue with the tape. The issue is that for the person who has it is you possess something you should not from a legal standpoint.
Starting point is 00:53:54 Yeah. Well, you're young. Correct. Both of us are under 18. Yeah. So it's like this weird situation where like someone has that tape and it's like. Still? I don't I would assume unless it's just lost or has been destroyed
Starting point is 00:54:07 well let's hope that I don't I personally I mean there's another person who it would could affect but like for me I mean I don't where would it even go it's just such a weird situation yeah I don't know I just feel like the whole nude sleaking thing scares me too much so okay so it shock you I don't send nudes no not at all I think I think they're kind of outdated a little bit yeah anything like maybe FaceTime or something I don't know but like so if you were to send if you were to send a nude to someone, you're not digging into an inventory of nudes that you have, you're taking a new one.
Starting point is 00:54:39 Yeah, I'm like going to the bathroom and taking one in real time. See, that's what I was trying to avoid by having that pick that I have. Was because for a guy, like, for us, like getting a good,
Starting point is 00:54:51 well-lit, well-angled, fully blood-flooded pick. Like, you know what I'm saying? Like where you're like, you're like, not 80%.
Starting point is 00:55:01 You're like at like a good one. 10. You need to like update it. Or maybe, yeah. Just take like a half day and just really. That's what I'm kind of asking you. Like like like like dude, if you on a random Tuesday, right, you had an afternoon. Like why wouldn't you create some like epic like vignettes where like so like say you started
Starting point is 00:55:23 talking like a German hockey player you got dressed in like one of those October Fest fits. You know like do you know what I'm saying? Like why wouldn't you really like your own little photo shoot? Yeah. I just like, I don't like guys having those kind of photos in me on their phones when like I know they're probably sending the most people. What about using an app that like it deletes from like snap or something like that and just sending a single share? You think they're going to screen it? Probably.
Starting point is 00:55:47 I do not send dick pics. Why? Because. Because of that reason. And as a very adult, I get asked for them. I get asked for them. It can sometimes dull the vibe because if the other person you're like talking to is very, overzealous about sharing stuff
Starting point is 00:56:04 like what a lot of girls are. Yeah. Then they asked me, okay, let me get something to return. I can't because I don't, I don't know, just as like a 41 year old man,
Starting point is 00:56:13 it just is something that I just don't see being appropriate. Yeah, I can see that. But also like, someone in the public eye too. So you, yeah,
Starting point is 00:56:21 that's also like another factor that goes into play. Yeah. People could like probably send that out and like think that it would be valuable to other people. Well, I have no issue with
Starting point is 00:56:32 the image itself. No, you want it. Yeah, I've known. It's more so how was this obtained and like what did that conversation look like? Why was he sending that? Do you know what I'm saying? Because it was asked for. It was asked for.
Starting point is 00:56:45 Like I said, sun cock, period. Yeah. I guess I should have in that circumstance. Yeah. I need to warm up sometimes. Yeah. Do you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:56:54 Like this is like, it's messed up because like we should, most podcasts are about an hour. And I'm, I'll really start heating up at like the hour 15 mark. No same. Where I'm like, okay, there's flow and I like. I'm comfortable. So what, you know what me and Logan do?
Starting point is 00:57:06 Before the show for 30 minutes, we yell at each other to warm up. So that in the first, so in the first like 10 minutes, the show we're locked in. No, we're good right now. How do you yell at like? We'll just talk shit and shoot a vlog or like mess around in the room and just like break. Like whatever, dude. Like we'll just have a blast so that when as soon as we sit down, we're more in a flow state versus, you know, I'll say this. and go back to your superlatives.
Starting point is 00:57:32 When you stare at your phone all fucking day, like we do, the first three minutes of conversation with like an actual human or the first 10 minutes is wonky, dude. Yeah. I like don't like talking to strangers all the time. Do you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:57:46 Especially as like an anxious person because I'm always like kind of like teetering on anxiety side. How less anxious are you right now currently in this moment than you were when we sat down? I think. I'm less anxious. Right now. Right now.
Starting point is 00:58:03 I'm 70% less anxious, okay? Because we haven't been staring at our phone. We haven't been locked in the silo of our mind with no one to talk to, which is where everyone lives nowadays, which is the most unhealthy thing ever. Yeah. We've been having real interaction. Yeah. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:58:23 This is how we are supposed to be living. Not with these microphones and cameras. Yeah. But like having real discourse, like with each other. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. Go ahead. What do you got?
Starting point is 00:58:33 When you're in a relationship, how often do you should you be texting and FaceTiming? God, dude. This was a tough thing for me. Yeah, I feel like you're not a good text. Actually, you are. With you. You're a good text.
Starting point is 00:58:43 Because a lot of, because some of our stuff's work stuff or, or, um, just we're doing events. You're like how many for like a code to something. Yeah, or something like that. Please fill this out. Yeah. Fill out this rumor app. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:55 I feel like I'm obligated to do it. So I do it. Yeah. Even though I'm selfish. If I lock in with you, I want to make sure that you're happy. I want to make sure that I'm doing a good job. And if I know that it makes you feel better to hear for me in the morning, even if it's just a good morning, I'm going to send the text.
Starting point is 00:59:10 I feel like you'd be a good boyfriend. I am a good boyfriend in some ways. In like the ways that I feel like are important, except for maybe quality time. But I feel like you were always with the last sex all the time. All the time. Everywhere in the world. Are you a commitment phobe? I'm starting to think of.
Starting point is 00:59:29 about how much of it is based on how I live my life and my lifestyle. Yeah. I think that as I continue to settle down more, I say this on show sometimes now, you need to settle down before you settle down. Yeah. That's, you're not going out every night. You're not partying every night.
Starting point is 00:59:45 You're not doing stuff. You're not, for me, it's not even partying. It's just straight up travel. This tonight, when we leave to go to LHR, that will probably be flight 75 or 80 of the year for me. I'll do 130, 140 flights this year. It's disgusting. It's actually disgusting.
Starting point is 01:00:04 Do you really? Like, feel sick? Not really. It's all that NID pumping through your veins. You know, all these experimental pets. You're going to grow tail in like five years. What's a secret you know in Hollywood that you can expose to me and everyone listening? I've TN everybody.
Starting point is 01:00:19 That's the secret in itself. Yeah. I know every single thing about how everyone ticks about everyone. Do you need to me that really fuck up my shit? No, not really. You're very open. Yeah. Do you know what I'm saying? When you present the side of yourself that you do, it makes life a lot easier.
Starting point is 01:00:35 Do you know what I'm saying? Yeah, because people can't be like, are you trying to hide that part of your life? No, I'm, I show every part of the good, bad, and the ugly. Yeah, listen, everybody has skeletons. No one is perfect. Everybody has skeletons, dude. I think being perfect, especially on the internet, it's kind of out anyways. Oh yeah, 100%.
Starting point is 01:00:53 Like that clean girl, aesthetic. Fuck that. Except for a sweet, sweet page. There's a really messed up on her. understanding of how much money people have. Really? I think people really like a lot of times over the kids nowadays, like they're like brains, how they interpret like what a lot of money is is like so ridiculous.
Starting point is 01:01:13 Like you tell a kid that you're making $100 grand a year now and they're just like, oh, you're poor because they're because their brains are so tied into Aiden Ross and this person's earnings and that person's earnings and this person makes $100 million. year that they think that's like that's like what rich is i guess we didn't really know what rich men either at their age yeah i think depends if you asked me like five years ago of a hundred thousand dollars is like a lot to make a new year i've been like that's like a lot like six figures is a lot yeah now yeah yeah changes no i just mean like people think it's like these kids think it's like poor these kids like young kids i don't think people really have like the full concept of a dollar
Starting point is 01:01:53 at that age i don't really know like a secret about hollywood to be honest no honestly you don't you don't want to arrow anyone out. All right, what's a mistake you've made in the early stages of relationship that you won't repeat again? This one actually hurts me to say. I have like a tranche of videos from like past flings, especially when I was like doing, hanging out with like the P stars. And I was not willing to delete them.
Starting point is 01:02:25 For a relationship. Yeah. How did they know you had them? don't know. I don't remember how it came up in discussion or or snooping or something. I regret that. That's ridiculous. That's that's that's like that's like actually ridiculous. But I'm aware and I and I I'll own up to it. And I'm sorry about that. You know, like that's crazy. I think like I probably made that decision as you said early in the relationship. And then it was it was like one of those things where I was just like no, I'm not I'm not. You're not going to tell me what to do. Yeah. Yeah. Like where I had that like overarching like manly like thing that just was talking.
Starting point is 01:02:58 to an extent. So I do regret that. No, I was the bad, bad partner in the relationship. Yeah, at least from my last relationship. I also make mistakes in that pre-exclusive gray area a lot. Yeah. Which has, which has caused harm in some of my past relationships. Like you've gotten with someone like in the gray like where it's like, okay, we haven't had that conversation or like one of my exes would claim that we had had the conversation, but like, uh, We didn't. No. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:03:31 Like where it's just like, okay, you're not fully exclusive, but like you've been hooking up a lot for like a month and you're the, and like you. It would be hurtful to the other person that they found out. Yeah, that's bad. I don't know how I feel about that though because I've definitely like hooked up with other people's and other people in that area as well. I think you,
Starting point is 01:03:50 I think like for like people that are in new relationships, you have to have a very like specific and meaningful conversation. Like how soon? whenever you're ready to, whenever one of the partners is ready to, communicate with your partner. Don't be, don't be afraid to, like, say things that hurt you. Like, here's another thing I slightly, hmm, I don't know if I regret this one. When I start to get battered down every day by things that I deem to be, um,
Starting point is 01:04:17 insignificant. Yeah. I'll tell you, I need you to stop with this shit. Yeah. I'm, I am done. And like this is something that I've had to think about whether or not I regret it. But like if there's a lot of every day, who was that girl? Why did she say hi to you?
Starting point is 01:04:36 Why are you not here by this time? X.1. And I mean a lot of it where I can expect it to happen every time we go out or anytime we do anything. Yeah. I will start to not take your feelings about what I deem to be those things into consideration. I won't. I won't do it. I just won't like coddle in those situations.
Starting point is 01:04:55 Yeah. Like you don't want to be. be giving having to give like constant reassurance to a person correct if I like a girl's Instagram picture talk to my ex I think that's really that bad I think so I don't think as a guy you should be liking other girls likeing other guys like no I don't think you should be doing that I don't think you should be doing that if your partner is uncomfortable with you doing that if if if me and you dated yeah who the fuck knows what that looks like you like it would be funny to hear you say it's like I got to talk to you about your ex and I'd be like oh god here
Starting point is 01:05:27 we fucking go. Do you think that you can invite her over one night and we could like see what I like? Do you know what I'm saying? Like, and you would go the opposite directions. I don't know, even know how that would look like. But if your partner is uncomfortable with you liking other girls or other guys' photos
Starting point is 01:05:40 on Instagram because it publicly shows that they in some way appreciate their physique or their picture or whatever, with, with exceptions, of course. Yeah. I think there's exceptions. Like if like we were dating and you were liking like Lauren and another creator. Yeah. But that's where it gets gray.
Starting point is 01:05:57 That's where it gets gray. So I just stop. Like I also like, I don't think I'd care really about that stuff. So then, so I don't know. I've been in a serious relationship in so long. So maybe like, I just don't know. I'm like tap though. When I like someone.
Starting point is 01:06:11 You really like dial, like lock in and... I lock in, but I can get like a little like... Possessive? Possessive, maybe not, but like, like, almost brings out like an insecure side to me where I'm like... You know? You know, I feel more confident at myself alone. Okay. So I know exactly what you're talking about.
Starting point is 01:06:31 And this is like kind of goes back to like the conversation we were just having. You think that you feel more insecure in a relationship. But I'll get fucking killed for the statement. It is partially the job of the man to make you feel secure in the relationship. I think. Yeah. So if you are now there, there's a line. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:06:56 So if you're dating someone who is not doing a good job of that, depending on what your love language is, right? If they're not hitting that metric to satisfy you and make you feel like you're the only thing that he thinks, like, sorry, the only girl that he is looking at or wants to be with, that can partially actually be the fall of the guy.
Starting point is 01:07:17 I know it's going to make your audience happy to hear your audience, but I would say this on a dude show too. Yeah. You have to show up for your girls. You have to. Like if you're not, if you're not making them feel to a certain level appreciated, valued, and like they're the only girl that you care for in that way,
Starting point is 01:07:34 then you're going to create an insecure, anxious female that is going to then wreak havoc on your fucking life. And so, like, I know this from past experience because I don't always do a good job of that. And then I look at someone like Logan, who does a great job of it every single day of his life. Yeah. With certain exceptions.
Starting point is 01:07:53 But like, but like 98% of the time, he's showing up in the way that makes her feel like, like she has love and loyalty and those things. What is your love language? I don't even know. I'm like, I got to be completely honest to you, Halley. I'm really messed up. Like when it comes to, I got to, I got to change my ways a lot. But like, do you even know the love languages? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:08:17 Time, gifts, you know, like touch. Yeah. I mean, I'm a guy. So I mean, like, yeah. Like, it's like definitely like a part of it. But like I don't know. I have like, I have like just so many like complexities and like have been like burned and hurt in so many ways in my life that like I'm just, I'm just so.
Starting point is 01:08:36 I'm like a really chaotic lover. Like love to see what goes on in your. No, you wouldn't. Brain just for like 30 minutes. You wouldn't. You would. It's, it can be heavy. It can be really heavy. Heavy?
Starting point is 01:08:47 Yeah. Same with me though. I'm diagnosed OCD. I have high levels of anxiety. I have issues with self-worth from all of the things that I've done in my life and the damage I've done to myself and others. I have issues with trust. I have a lot of issues. And I love myself.
Starting point is 01:09:10 I'm very proud of the person I am and who I've become. I really consider myself to be a kind and good person. But I think that I have built walls around myself in a lot of ways. Yeah, to protect your... Myself and others. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? And it's very uncomfortable for me to take those walls down.
Starting point is 01:09:31 And even in those like year and a half long relationships, like they're still up in a major way. Yeah, I don't like being vulnerable. Then you add on for me personally as like a man in 2026, like a lot of access to like really, really pretty cool, awesome women. Yeah. And that is then like... like the multiplier effect where it's just like, okay, why am I going to go back to this inability that I have to even do this anyways when I have the ability to have fun all the time and have all of my needs met without having to do that side of the puzzle. Yeah. Horrible thought,
Starting point is 01:10:09 horrible way to live life. And I don't ever like, I posted as content. We talk about it on shows. It's such an ugly lifestyle. Do you feel guilty about it? No, never feel guilty. I don't feel guilty. I don't feel guilty about anything. It's just more so like there's a whole. So much work has to be done. And that's the thing like anything else in life. And you're not going to work. I'm in therapy and I've been doing a lot better on as it pertains to like how I act and behave.
Starting point is 01:10:34 Okay. So it will get there when it gets there. Yeah. That's it. I think you'll be great and you'll be fine and I love you. I know we're going to have a blast and we're going to have so much fun. So we add it there. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:10:44 We'll get some sun and have a good time and you can find and you're flying business class. I know. It's like my favorite part. It's like drinking at the airport. I love flying. Well, when I'm flying like the way that we do. Well, you're a whole other situation. I don't even want to be jealous. Yo, shout out to your audience. I love you guys. I love that you support Hallie because I love Hallie. I appreciate your patience as sometimes the things that I say take a little while to say. You're better articulate, though. Yeah, thank you. But hopefully you enjoyed today's episode. Love you guys. I just signed out of your own show.
Starting point is 01:11:19 Peace. I was like, peace. Thank you.
