All across the fantasy universe, welcome one and all to the two-point stance.
What's up, everybody? I'm your boy, Brian Drake.
Check me out on the Twitter machine at Drake Fantasy.
Hang in tonight with my main man, Joe Dolan.
You know him, you love him from the One and Only Fantasy Points.com.
He's on Twitter at FG underscore Dolan.
Joe, this is a really fun idea we've got this week.
I'm super happy you came up with this for us.
We're going to go tap into what you guys may know me from in my prior days of podcasting,
talking a lot about the FFPC,
and we're going to go look through their dynasty teams for sale.
And if you go over to FFPC, my FFPC.com, you can check out their list of dynasty teams for sale.
You know, please, folks, go do this, help them out.
So, Joe, we've got a list here of a bunch of teams that are $250 entry fees, usually, but I'm a thrifter.
If you know me and you know my father, you know I love a good deal.
Talk to my wife.
I am cheap.
We're going to find the deals because on the right side of the screen, if you're watching on YouTube and why aren't you,
It shows the sale price for these teams right now.
So you and I are going to peruse these teams, the pros, the cons.
And trust me, folks, these are some dumpster fire teams.
That's why they're orphans.
And we're going to figure out who the hell we're going to pick.
So I like this topic.
Yeah, this will be a lot of fun, Drake.
I'm actually, I would say I'm the opposite of you.
I am not cheap at all.
And I don't want to say, like, I have expensive taste because I don't really.
I mean, look, I'm wearing an Evan Williams bourbon hat, okay?
You know, I also like a good bargain product.
But I'm of the mind in a lot these days that you get what you pay for.
And if you find a great deal, great.
So this is going to be really interesting because these are $250 entry dynasty leagues.
We're going to limit ourselves to $250.
$550. FFPC has $500,750. They got up to $5,000 leagues. But just for the sake of brevity and for the sake of, you know, just putting somewhat of a restriction on, we're going to stick to these $250 entry orphan teams. And it could be anything. It could be a Superflex dynasty. It could be a best ball dynasty. You and I are going to find the right team. We're going to run it together this season. And I think that will probably be a
topic on the show. Rookie drafts start in May. So you and I are going to be doing the rookie
draft together. But that's also part of the fun here because it tells you what assets these
clubs have, these orphaned teams. And some of them are barren in draft picks. Some of them
have good players but no picks. Some of them have bad players, but a ton of picks. And the worst
of them, you'll get them for $1, a sale price of $1. They have no players and they have no
picks. So you and Drake might be looking at this like, oh my, look, we can get into a $250
league for $1. Yeah, but wait until you see the team. So there might be a little dynamic
here while we, we're going to have to pick a team here. Just so everybody knows,
there is an initial deposit to get into the league. So even if we buy a $1 team, we have to put
$100 deposit on top of that. If we buy a $150 team, we got to pay the $100 deposit on top of
that, but the $150 team is obviously going to be a lot better and have a better chance to
to make us money in year one of this dynasty league.
So this is going to be a little fun exercise, but we are limiting ourselves to $250 entry
leagues.
If you know me from playing softball or golf, you know that I don't skimp on things that I buy
for myself.
So I'm looking through these teams and I'm like, I can't, I can't roll with this team.
Like I'm looking for like the greatest team of all time that someone just left here on the
wire for us.
And we've got a couple of things that we need to think.
about Joe, our strategy is like, are we trying to compete this year? You know, if you look at one
these teams, are we going to trade off all our picks? Are we going to say, oh, let's get rid of
everybody or, you know, do we want to look and say, do we want a building block? You know,
this team's got a Christian McCaffrey or this team's got an Austin Echler. Like, what's your
thought process initially going in about these teams? And what maybe should some of our listeners
who are going to try this exercise think when they're looking at the squads?
Case by case basis, I'm not a terribly patient person.
So I don't think I'm going to be very interested in doing like a $1 team that doesn't have players or picks.
I don't know if I'd feel great buying like a team that's near full price and being like, you know,
maybe it was from somebody who, you know, just didn't have the money to play this year.
I'm already buying up.
There's a team that's got two first round picks and Justin Fields at quarterback.
You know, that's looking pretty solid.
But we'll go through a trick.
I don't know if we're going to go through all of these teams, like in detail,
but for those of you listening, I think we want to, we want to try to describe what these
teams are. Again, these are $250 teams in a normal year. It takes $250 to renew.
But because these teams were orphaned, we can get them for a discount and enter that league.
So without further ado. Yes. And just folks, if you've never played on the FFPC before,
these rosters currently have 16 players on them.
When the season begins, they'll have 22 because there's a draft coming up after the NFL
draft.
You start a quarterback, two running backs, two receivers, a tight end, two flexes, kicker, and a defense.
This is full PPR and tight end premium.
So we have to keep that in mind when we look at some of these squads.
So there are super flex dynasties, by the way.
So we could, we could, we could decide to pick a Superflex team if that's.
I have a, I do have an FFPC Superflex dynasty team.
All right.
So let's just start out with the team right here, Numero Uno.
It's on sale for $99.
Mike White, Mack Jones, Derek Carr.
So you're looking to start Derek Carr on this team.
That's not, you know, maybe the greatest thing in the world.
What I do like here, Joe, Christian McCaffrey, Deontza Foreman, Isaiah Pacheco,
Even Jamal Williams and Damian Harris on the team,
you've got really good running backs and you probably have some trade potential here.
And at wide receiver, it's not as barren as you'd think naming all those running backs.
Cooper Cup, Michael Pittman, Bobby Trees, Rondell Moore, you know, at tight end, we got nothing.
We got Logan Thomas.
They don't have a pick in the first two rounds.
We have multiple threes.
So, I mean, just initial thought looking at this team.
This is number 69.
for you guys scoring at home if you're following along.
Yeah, so McCaffrey, Isaiah Pacheco,
I think you can probably convince folks,
ooh, and I have Cooper Cup and Michael Pittman.
That's going to be a team I can win with year one.
But my instinct for this team,
Drake would probably to try to trade Cooper Cup for what we can get for him.
With no first or second round pick in the draft,
there's no tight end, which is very important in FFPC,
because it's tight end premium.
This is, to me, is major stars and scrubs.
And no early picks is why this is on sale for 99 out of $250.
Interesting.
Yeah, I'm not exactly feeling it.
Let's keep rolling.
The teams will talk about if you're watching on YouTube will be the very top team on the screen.
This team here, number 37, while Tom Brady's on the team, so I'm already in.
Mike White and Kenny Pickett.
Now, let me sidebar here.
What positions in dynasty in a rebuild, because that's what all of these are, do you think is the easiest to obtain?
So when we're looking at maybe a hole in the roster, you could say, well, we could get that in the draft.
We could get that in free agency and a trade or something like that.
I think in a one quarterback dynasty, which this is, I would think the quarterback position is the easiest.
This particular team, by the way, which has Kenny Pickett at quarterback.
And, you know, Pickett, I thought had an OK rookie season.
He's in Drake, but he was dog shit for fantasy because I think he only threw seven touchdowns.
I think that's probably the easiest position to get.
And then when I look at this team that has, by the way, Nick Chubb and Austin Echler are the only two running backs on that team.
But that's a contending backfield, at least for this year, depending on what happens with Echler.
It's got Devante Adams.
It's got Jerry Judy.
And then it really drops off at wide receiver.
It's got Darren Waller at tight end and Mike Gisicki.
I'm not sure.
I didn't.
I'm not sure.
Darren Waller is a huge needle mover for me, but it is tight end premium.
But the thing I like about this team, which is on sale for $129, it's got a full slate of draft picks.
It has seven draft picks.
It has a full 2024 slate of draft picks.
It's going to be very easy for us to add a quarterback to that team because it's one quarterback.
You know Bejohn Robinson's getting drafted early here.
You know this is a good tight end class.
So you know some guys are going to be moving and shaking for tight ends and tight end premium.
I think with the seventh pick of the first round, we'd be able to add maybe an Anthony Richardson,
maybe it will lev us to that team depending on what happens and have a quarterback we feel good about going into the season.
Remember, it's one quarterback.
We just got to cobble it together at that position.
Right.
And obviously we'd start those two running backs, Chubb and Ackler, we'd have to find some other guys via the draft and free agency.
So we'll sidebar that team.
That's team number 37.
I'll put a little check mark.
I like that one a little bit better than the CMC Cup team.
the team you mentioned in the opening.
Again, Dynasty number 30, this is Dynasty number 37.
It's in the same league, it looks like.
$149.
So the price on this is, you know, pretty high.
This is the Justin Fields team.
At running back, you're looking at Rashad White, Brian Robinson,
Zeeke, hey, for this year, Zeek's going to sign somewhere.
You know, you need a couple of flexes.
Chances are Zeeq's going to get some run.
lineup, Jerome Ford. Heck, Jerome Ford could be the number two in Cleveland this year.
They drafted him. He had a nice profile coming into the league. Wide receiver.
You know, what do we got here? We got Dotson, Drake London. So some young guys, I like that.
Chris Godwin, stability, commit and Albert O at tight end. Albert O is, he's a depreciated
asset at this point. Two first round picks, my friend. One four and one 12. Now,
Keep in mind with this team, no second or third round picks, but it's got four in the fourth round.
And you know, it's got, excuse me, three in the fourth round.
And I'll tell you what, depending on what the team was, you know, I had some tough decisions when I had to cut one of my dynasty rosters down to 16 players.
You got to keep in mind, there's good veterans available on the waiver wire.
Like you said, great point.
Wide receiver is a little thin on this particular team.
I like Dodson and London long term, but we know they were both wide receiver three.
at best this year.
You know, maybe Chris Godwin, depending on what happens at the quarterback spot there,
maybe you can get a couple of veteran receivers to help you fill out your lineup.
1-4 and 112 are really good picks.
Put a little checkmark next to this one, Drake, because this one's interesting.
The $149 asking price, though, tells you that this is an interesting team.
Yeah, no question about it.
Let me skip over a team or two here.
I like this squad in $250 league number 40.
This team is listed at 179.
So this is almost as high as you're going to get out of a $250 league.
So let's see if it's worth the asking price.
And again, this is not a super flex team,
but you've got Daniel Jones and you've got Kyler Murray.
We know Kyler's not going to play.
When you see that in a team that you're likely going to have to rebuild,
you instantly think you're trading Kyler Murray.
I could. I mean, I think he does play this year. I just don't know how effective he's going to be in quite frankly.
This team to me seems really overpriced at running back. Naji Harris, who's, you know, fine.
Zeke, Kamar is getting super old, probably going to get suspended. Tyler Algier, who knows,
Kenny Gainwell. Al Jir is a guy who's, whose dynasty value could be absolutely throttled by the end of April,
depending on as good as season as he had. But we've, look, we've seen a guy like Michael Carter.
you know, get his dynasty value absolutely throttled within one draft cycle.
It doesn't have a surplus of picks.
As a matter of fact, it doesn't have a second round pick this year.
Kyler Murray's hurt.
That's probably one of the best assets on the team.
The receivers, I think on paper are pretty good.
St. Brown, Mike Williams, Cortland Sutton, Calvin Ridley.
But I think you can make an easy argument that Cortland Sutton and Calvin Ridley could be
overrated for Dynasty right now.
I'm not sure how good Cortland Sutton is in general.
I think I also am not sure, Drake, how good Kyler Murray is in general.
This is tight end premium.
The only tight end on the roster is Irv Smith.
I thought that was a great signing by the Bengals.
But, I mean, his name is much bigger than his production to this point.
I completely agree with you.
This is a $179 team.
I much prefer the $149 team from Dynasty number 37, which I think is my clubhouse leader for the team I want to take over so far.
This is an overpriced team.
This is a clear pass for me.
All right.
Let's go the other way.
How about a dirt-ass cheap team in Dynasty number 47?
This is new on the block.
I like this little green, almost Mattel-looking logo in the corner.
By the way, speaking of toys and all that.
I saw the Mario Brothers movie.
Phenomenal.
For good things, even though the reviews are mediocre, but like, I don't know,
what are you expecting from the Mario Brothers movie?
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's not Shawshank, folks, all right?
but it's pretty good.
And Jack Black actually sings in it, too.
So this team is $29.
Now you're talking Mr. Drake's language.
Mr. Dr.
mostly being my father here.
Justin Fields and two-eight quarterback.
Okay.
Okay.
A.J. Dylan.
Khalil Herbert, DJ Dallas, Boston, Scott.
No, well, maybe that's why it's $29.
Bucks.
Wide receiver, Devante,
Adam Thielen, Ayuk,
Gallup, Renfro
and tight end
Ingram, Knox, Hooper
here's the kicker.
They don't have a draft pick till 3-8.
Yeah.
That's that thing.
I honestly do think this team's kind of underpriced though.
Yeah.
See, I can find a deal.
There's some optionality with this team.
I think you can get a,
you can get a late pick for feeling.
Gallup's not a guy I'd be looking to trade right now
to see if maybe he can create
some, you know, some value.
I think you could deal Devante Adams, maybe get a young player and a pick.
This is not a bad situation for $29.
I think you might be able to wrestle away a first for Devante Adams in this league.
Do you think with this team, Justin Fields, Devante Adams, could you trade both of them?
You got Tua.
Again, two is one hit away from being dead.
But could you trade?
Could you get a first for Justin Fields?
Maybe now we're really accumuling picks.
I don't know if you can get a first for Justin Fields in a one quarterback league.
Maybe now maybe I'm just being naive because it's a one quarterback league.
But I always find it hard to trade quarterbacks for high picks in those formats.
All right.
Let's keep rolling through some of these teams.
Again, folks, if you're listening, we're over at myfPC.com and looking at their dynasty teams for sale.
We got a little cache in our podcast.
and we're going to pick a team or we're going to run with it this season.
You're finding a lot of the same names when you scroll through these teams.
There's a lot of Daniel Jones, a lot of Alvin Kamara,
you know, for some reason I'm seeing.
Yeah, I don't know why.
Daniel Jones is a good fantasy quarterback, man, and he just got a big extension.
That's a, I know nobody likes Daniel Jones except for giant fans,
but, I mean, look at the numbers he put up last year, man.
I mean, I don't care if you like him or not.
numbers are numbers.
I want to draw your attention to this $250 league number 61.
This is a new team.
This is going for $79.
Okay.
Josh Allen and Daniel Jones are on this roster.
Okay.
You got starting running backs, Josh Jacobs, James Connor, and then, you know, throw in
Fournette wherever he lands, Kareem Hunt, same thing.
All right, we're light at receiver.
Thielen, Big Mike, Corey Davis, and Hardman, but it talks.
Tight end. Hawkinson, Ingram. Again, tight end premium.
You're starting both of those guys every week for sure.
And Tonian, the killer, the killer. They have one draft pick and it's 1-11.
At least it's a first. That's a really interesting team because there's some really good players on this team.
But the really good-to-receiver.
The problem is like the best skill position player on this team actually is Hawkinson, but Josh Jacobs,
Yeah.
You've got one first round pick.
I'm not really sure.
On this team, could you flip one of the quarterbacks, probably, to gain some picks or some receivers?
Could you flip Tanya?
You're not getting anything for Tanya.
He's a backup to Cole commit.
Yeah, I think you can probably get something for Ingram.
I mean, I think your best opportunity to trade a player here is T.J. Hawkinson.
but again, is T.J. Hawkinson and Tightend Premium is he's kind of one of the guys that you probably want to build around.
He's young. He just got dealt to a new team. He was a massive asset for the Vikings. I'd probably want to hold on to Hawkinson and see what I could scrape together from this team this year.
Obviously, we can tell Drake what happened to this team. It traded all of its picks to try to get the championship this past year and came in second place.
because it has the 11th pick in the draft.
That's a great eye.
That's a great eye.
Then it can quit.
It's like it didn't work and I quit.
Yeah.
So interesting.
Interesting team.
I'll put a checkmark by then.
Let me scroll through some of these other squad.
Man,
there's some dumpster fires.
Hold on.
Let the people know what a $1 team looks like.
Okay.
Just so you know,
because I don't think we're buying a $1 team,
Drake.
It's for nothing,
but we still have to make a $100 deposit
to even buy into the,
league.
I don't think this team is, I don't think this team is that horrible.
I'm in a few dynasty leagues.
There's worse teams than this.
There's a notable exception about this team.
There's a notable exception about this team, but go through the team.
Yes.
So if you, all right, the big issue, the team's first draft pick is in the sixth round.
But they've got Daniel Jones and Derek Carr.
You got at running back.
Okay.
You got Kamara McKinnon, Kareem Hunt, and C.E.H.
There might not be a running back on that roster who's active in week one.
Like, Camara's probably going to get suspended.
CEH is in the doghouse.
And Cream Hunt, Jerich McKinnon don't have a team right now.
They're going to be doing the show with us week too.
I love Christian Watson, DeAndre Hopkins, Mike Evans, Adam Thieland, Devon de Vosan.
All right.
Use, again, this is a dollar team, folks.
I'm not saying we're trying to compete here day one.
Hunter Henry, Isaiah likely, and Trey McBride are the tight ends.
I think you can get something.
deal with that in Superflex or in a tight end premium.
That's a decent room.
But again, you got nothing in terms of the draft.
You've got five picks all after the six rounds.
You're getting jack crap for those.
But again, we just want to show you that's what a $1 team looks.
I mean, to me it seems like a value for a dollar if you just wanted to get crazy.
This is a best ball team, by the way.
Yes, $250 best ball team.
So that's the caveat is maybe some of those running backs get some life.
add a few more to it with Watson, Hopkins, Ingram, you might be able to win a few weeks with that
too.
But then again, probably not.
I love there's a team here with Marcus Mariotta.
Like, that's just, my favorite thing to do now is when you're sitting on the can,
scroll and trying to make bad dynasty trades, which I did this morning and they were all rejected.
And just seeing some of the guys that are still on these rosters, like, what the hell is
Marcus Mariotta doing on anyone's roster?
Like, you had to cut players to get to this number.
And Marcus Mariotto is one of the guys you kept.
And this was not a super flex team in which Marcus Mariotto would have had value last year, by the way.
This is a one quarterback league.
It's got Gino Smith, who's your starter, but how long is he the starter?
But a full slate of draft picks, and I think a full slate of draft picks here is appealing if I'm going through looking at these teams.
And this team also, mind you, tight end premium, Mark Andrews, Dalton Schultz,
Colcomette, Chigacanquo.
There's some assets right there in tight end premium.
I mean, you need some running backs to match with Josh Jacobs and Jamal Williams.
For 49 bucks.
Honestly.
With Mike Evans, Amari Cooper, Deontay Johnson, Hardman, Michael Thomas, Greg.
This team's not bad.
And it has a full slate of picks.
I'm putting a check mark next to this team.
Yeah, I kind of like this.
For 49 bucks.
Yeah.
I mean, Gino Smith's your starter.
We got work to do a quarterback here because I don't think you can go into the season with Gino Smith as your only starting quarterback because what if the Seahawks make a, I mean, if the Seahawks don't draft a quarterback in the first round, then we're flying high here, buddy.
But I kind of like this team. I can do work with this team.
Right. We, you know, we got to find some some running backs. But, you know, some of those tight ends are going to get moved. At least one of them between Andrew Schultz, Komett, no Conquard. I mean, that's four.
tight end premium.
Geez,
you're probably looking at four
of the top 15 tight ends.
So,
that ain't bad,
any bad,
all right.
And it's a bargain,
$49.
Woo!
All right,
rolling through here.
And let's see.
Who else can we have
some fun with?
It's getting a little,
little thin.
I'm trying to find some different players.
I'm not buying a team
that doesn't have a pick
before the third round.
I'm not doing it.
doing that. If I'm going to, if I'm going to take over an orphan dynasty team, I want to be
able to at least make some picks. Yeah, that's the whole fun of it. Uh, boy, hang on. This team
is listed at $149. Okay. This team's way overpriced in Dynasty 100. This is a new team.
Deshawn Watson, Kyler Murray. Okay. Well, one of them's hurt. Running back, Josh Jacobs,
Miles Sanders, Brian Robinson, Rashad White, Derek Henry. All right, you're, you're pretty loaded at
running back, right? Wide receiver, Cooper Cup, okay, Pickens, Tyler Boyd, Thielen, Renfro,
tight and premium, you're only, but Tonian, uh, you don't have a second, third or fourth
round pick for a hundred and fifty bucks. I don't know. You do have the third overall pick in the
rookie draft. So you're going to get a really good wide receiver there. You're, you're,
you're probably going to be able to draft the top wide receiver off the board quite hard.
frankly.
But this is a, I think this is a trade Cooper Cup and trade Derek Henry team.
Yeah, I mean, whatever you can get.
With the news that Derek Henry, you know, the, the cowboys could be eyeing a trade for
Derek Henry.
Oh my God.
Do you have any homers out there in Cowboyland?
If you said Derek Henry is on the Dallas Cowboys would trade their left nut to get him.
I mean, come on.
Yeah, but for 140.
$19.
That's my point.
To me, I thought it was a little pricing.
There's, there's that, what was that?
There was that, um, that Justin Fields team that had the two first round picks for
149, which I think was a, we have way more options with that team than this one.
I do like pickings.
Tanya, we got to do some work at tight end.
If we're going to spend $149, though, we're going to, we're going to buy that Justin
Fields team with the two first round picks that we talked about at the beginning of the show.
I'm not buying this team for 149.
All right.
And I'm the one paying for it, Drake.
So we're putting them back on the shelf.
You're good at finding bargains with somebody else's money, aren't you?
God damn right.
You know what this is, is where we'd walk through the supermarket with your mom and dad.
And you'd have like, you know, hey, you go to the toy aisle and you pick up, you know,
like a he man or something as a kid.
And you walk around with it the entire time you're in the store.
And then you get to like the last aisle.
and your mom's like, put that down.
We're not buying that he man for 15, 20 bucks, whatever it was.
And then you go to like the egg section and there's a he man sitting on the eggs.
Like that's what's going on here with me with these teams.
Let's see.
How about this one for $49 in Dynasty 111?
Aaron Rogers and Jalen Hertz, first time we've called his name today.
DeAndre Swift.
I've never been a fan, but okay.
Mostert, starting running back, Deontay Foreman,
Jamal Williams, his name keeps popping up.
James Cook, Rashad Penny.
How is sad were some of the players on this team?
That somebody decided to keep Chuba Hubbard.
Yeah, how bad were the receivers?
He only kept four receivers.
Godwin, Evans, Devante, and Zay Jones.
All right, Higby's not great at, at touchdown.
end. The thing is you only have picks 3-7 and beyond. So you have a bunch of late-round
picks. But, I mean, for 49 bucks, the team you get hurts. I mean, who knows what penny gives
you? Yeah. It's not as exciting again, because you don't get the fun picks. Yeah, it's not,
but I think there's moves you can make with this team. Godwin and Evans, though, and by the way,
this was expected, but Godwin and Evans had their dynasty value torpedoed by Tom Brady
So now you got to deal with, you got to deal with Baker Mayfield at the quarterback position,
not something that I'm very interested in doing. But again, the team's $49. But if we're going to go
to a $49 team, what was the one we put a, what was the one we put a star next to?
Team number, let's see, in field 65. That's the one with Gino and Marriota.
That's the full slate of picks. Yeah, I can, I would rather buy that team for
the $49, the one in Dynasty 65 with Gino at quarterback.
Yeah, and it has four legit tight ends.
Yeah.
All right.
So I hope you guys are enjoying the two-point stance.
If you're getting, you know, the itch to draft, because that's all we're talking
about here today.
Why don't you go over to underdog fantasy?
Use promo code.
Fantasy PTS.
Make a deposit.
We're going to double it up to $100 and throw in a $5 subscription to fantasy points.com.
It's the best deal in the business, folks.
code fantasy PTS at underdog fantasy.com.
Tell them your boy, Drake sent you.
You know, they'll love you forever over there.
We're picking a dynasty team here.
Joe Dolan and myself rolling through the squads,
my ffpc.com.
Let me see.
And then another $150 team.
I don't want to spend that much of your money.
Let's see, Lamar Jackson.
Kirky is a $29 team.
Jimmy G on it.
If there's a team, by the way, that's $150,
but it's good.
You know, I'm not,
I'm not that upset about it,
Drake.
Let me throw this team at you
with, it's a $99
super flex dynasty team.
First time we've talked about that today.
Daniel Jones and Kirkie Cousins,
along with James.
So at least, you know, we've got
two starting quarterbacks,
Who knows how long Kirk's going to be around at running back, Delvin Cook.
You got Deontah Foreman.
You know, then it kind of falls off.
Hilliard, Mostert.
Yeah, there's a lot to do here.
Likely and Henry.
All right, I'm moving on from this.
But it's got the one-one.
The problem is it's got the one-one and then no pick until six one.
So, yeah, not for 99.
So we'd have Bijon Robinson on this team.
Yeah, well, yeah, it needs running.
backs, but it also needs a lot of other help, too.
Yeah. I hear you.
And it's super flex, too. So, like, Bejohn's value isn't as high in that format, even
though you have Jones and Kirk, which is a solid quarterback duo.
What?
I don't understand why some of these guys do what they do.
Looking at this team in Dynasty 161, this is a Dynasty one quarterback league.
He has five quarterbacks on this roster.
Jones, Rogers, Gough, Love, and Pickett.
Like, why?
And by the way, good luck trading any of those.
I mean, you'll, you'll get something, you'd get something for Rogers.
You'd probably get something for Goff at this point.
But good luck getting value for them when there might be five quarterbacks drafted in the first round in April.
I mean, it is April.
But in two weeks, there might be five quarterbacks drafted on Thursday night, live on television.
And there's going to be guys who have rookie picks.
Why would I trade, why would I trade, you know, 112 for Aaron Rogers when I could probably just have
I mean, you know what I'm getting at.
Like I'll just draft a rookie quarterback as opposed to a guy who might retire at the drop of a hat.
So yeah, that's interesting.
Interesting.
I mean, the running backs aren't crazy.
Sanders, Pollard, Penny, Zeke and Foreman.
Only three receivers because he's got 7,000 freaking quarterbacks.
Mike Evans, Christian Watson, and Deontay Johnson.
And Georgie Kittle at tight end.
We do have a slew of picks here, one, two, three.
and fourth round.
And maybe the most important piece,
Justin Tucker is the kicker.
Oh, yeah.
At least if you have to keep a kicker in everything but the,
the tri-flex team.
So at least you pick,
they kept the goat there.
I mean, it's not terrible.
I don't know why they kicked all those quarterbacks.
It probably was one of those things that guys like,
they all have value.
I don't want to get rid of them.
Someone's going to want one of these guys.
But in reality, no, they won't.
Let's see.
Look at this team, Drake.
Are you looking at 172?
No, well, I'm honestly looking at the one before it.
The Superflex Dynasty 164.
All right.
This is the Gough of Tana Hill team.
It needs a quarterback and probably two.
But look at what you've got at running back and receiver.
James Conner, Jamal Williams.
Jamal Williams on every one of these teams we talk about.
Jamal is going to be great for half a season this year.
We know that.
Nick Chubb.
Nick Chobaray is that he's getting older, but there's no more cream hunt.
J.K. Dobbins was good at the end of the year.
This is the best group of wide receivers I've seen on one of these teams.
Devonte Smith, Terry McClarn, and Jameson Williams are the top three receivers on this team.
And that's top three by dynasty value.
I'm not even counting the fact that Brandon Cooks and Tyler Lockett are on this team.
And those two are probably better this year than Jameson Williams is.
These are really good wide receiver streak.
Now, this is a super flex.
have to throw that out there.
But the tight end, Chigaconquo is great for Dynasty.
Dawson Knox is on this team.
Oh, and by the way, not only does it have the fifth overall pick,
but it's got the fourth pick in the second round and two third round picks
and three fourth round picks on this team.
That's a $99 team, and those are great wide,
those are legitimately great wide receivers.
That's a team we could pick up and you could compete this year
because of
Connor and Chubb
you know
golf will be fine
and Tanna Hills
serviceable at
at best
I hope we could get a quarterback
with the fifth pick
you know Bejohn's
going to be one of those picks right?
Maybe
and it's super flex you never know man
if Fijon's not one of the top four picks
and we're taking Bejon
like so you know four quarterbacks
are going in the first round at bare minimum
when we're getting a quarterback who gets drafted in the first round.
At 1-5.
Oh, Drake.
Oh, Drake.
Look at how many draft picks that team has this year.
Yeah, we probably couldn't even keep all these kids at this point.
No.
But, like, I mean, look at the options we're going to have with this team.
We need a quarterback.
I know that.
I know we need a quarterback on this team.
And I bet that, well, being super flex, it's probably nobody on the wire.
By the way, is that the lines, if we buy this team,
the thing I'm really hoping is the Lions don't draft one.
Because I'm counting on Jared Gough.
Oh, yeah.
I mean, Jared Gauts are ace in the hole.
Drake, we've got one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven
eleven draft picks this year.
Eleven.
There's only 22 players that we can keep on the team.
So that helps also in the draft.
I'd assume we could trade picks during the draft.
You can trade picks during the draft.
we could trade back to get some 2024 picks just to kick that can down the road if we're having trouble selling a pick.
I mean, you know what I love here is that the guy who led the NFL in rushing touchdowns last year,
Jamal Williams is our worst running back of four.
Yeah.
Now, running back can thin out really quick in Dynasty, as you well know.
But the thing is about this team, Devante Smith, Terry McLaren, and Jameson Williams, even if Jameson Williams is a flame out,
You know we have two certified studs in Smith and McLaren.
The tight end room is by no means barren with Dawson Knox and Chikakonko, two young players.
We have a leader in the clubhouse and it's this team.
Oh, yeah, I like this.
And it's super flex gives us something fun to talk about.
So we'll put that one down and, you know, we'll have to make a decision between maybe that.
And we'll look at a few more teams.
Yeah, it's going to take a lot to make me come off of this team.
Let's see.
Looking at somebody's draft picks.
Nice pick.
Okay.
Okay.
We're talking value.
I like value.
Here's a super flex dynasty team with one quarterback.
Jesus Christ.
Yeah.
And look at the draft picks.
Yeah, so you get $1.39.
$49 team, yeah, B. John, or not B. John.
That's going to screw people for years, the B. Robinson.
Brian Robinson, Aaron Jones, Josh Jacobs.
So, all right, well, that doesn't move the needle.
That doesn't, you know, get the blood flow under the shorts like that other team may have.
I don't know, man.
I don't know if we're going to find another team that kind of jumps out.
we just start comparing those two teams.
Seeing which one we like.
Here's the thing I like about this team.
Not only, like, that's a team that can compete this year if things break right.
Mm-hmm.
But in the next two years, this team has eight team draft picks.
All right.
So let's make some comparisons here.
So we're talking.
It's a $99 team, okay?
So that has to factor into the fact.
I like that Justin Fields team.
That was $149.
that has two first round picks.
Yep, let me go up to that one.
But I honestly think that team needs a little more work.
Let me go to that team.
Number 37.
Where are you, Justin Fields?
Now, the difference here is we presume we're good at quarterback.
I mean, I still think the jury is somewhat out on Justin Fields,
but we know we can be a dominant fantasy player.
And we have no work to do a quarterback on this team,
and it has two first round picks.
But it's $50 more expensive.
And it doesn't have another pick after the first round until the fourth, though it does have three fourth round picks.
So let's say.
Good players available in the fourth round because a lot of veterans got cut.
With this team being Dynasty, we're going to have to add a quarterback.
Obviously, we know that at some point.
We're going to have to add at the running back room because right now our two starting running backs are Rashad White,
who we assume we'll take a role on what could be a bad team.
and Brian Robinson, who we know is on a bad team and who can't catch a cold.
You know, and then there's Zeke and, you know, back up and Ford.
London, God, is it, am I looking at the right team?
The Justin Fields one, the 141 with Drake London and Chris Godwin and Johan Dotson.
Yeah.
Now, the thing I like about this team, too, this, I like the fact that Rashad White, Brian Robinson,
and Jerome Ford are all young players.
I like that they're all young running backs.
but I think there's a lot more opportunity for this team to go wrong than for that $99.
That's $150.50 more expensive for a team that does not give us as much as that
golf Tannahill team gives us.
Yeah.
If you're watching on YouTube or you're listening on Apple or whatever you listen,
why don't you write in the comments right now here, what team you would take?
Do you want this Justin Fields team for?
It's a $149 team.
Or should we go down and spend $99 and have a lot more fun?
Let us know what team you would pick.
Well, we're going to be doing a show for the rookie draft,
whether we do it live or we just kind of recap what we're doing.
I say we have some freaking fun with this, Drake.
All right.
So it looks like folks, we're going to take this Super Flex Dynasty team number 164, $99.
So still a nice bargain.
It's under $100.
So I guess it meets the, you know,
Scrooge McDuck Drake's threshold.
Jared Goff, Ryan Tannahill,
James Connor,
Jamal Williams, who's on every freaking team we talked about.
Nick Chubb, J.K. Dobbins.
I mean, that's four legit running backs.
Legit, legit wide receivers with Devante McCloren.
Nico Collins is on this team, by the way.
Jamal Williams locket and cooks,
Chig and Dawson Knox.
We got the one five,
which who knows what that could be.
And it's super flex though.
I mean,
we're probably looking quarterback there, right?
I mean,
I mean, you think, yeah, it's that or, you know,
the top wide receiver if, you know,
Smith and Jigba fall somewhere,
but we don't really need him.
No, we don't.
Like, I mean, yeah.
I already purchased the team, Drake.
Well, there you go.
You didn't want to lose it.
I didn't want to lose it.
I purchased the team.
I'm going to invite you to it.
But I think we found our team, buddy.
I like it.
This is a fun exercise.
And we can start talking about throwing out trade offers right away.
And we need a good team name more than anything.
Yeah.
How about two point stance?
I've heard that show.
It's okay.
The host is a douchebag.
But, you know, it's okay.
I gave him a five-star review anyways.
I appreciate that.
Yeah.
But we appreciate that, too,
as well because, yeah, we did.
Drake, this is a fun exercise, man.
Let's get dealing.
Let's go.
Let's go.
Let's go.
Let's run down the full roster before I go watch
Ted Lassau with the old lady.
All right.
And yeah, before I drink another three IPAs and trade this whole team away for 20,
you know, 27 third rounders.
Jared Gough, Ryan Santa Hill, super flex dynasty again, folks.
So we know we're going to have to add a quarterback or two.
Running back though, boy, we're cooking with gas.
James Connor, Jamal, the big wiggle,
Williams, Nick Chubb, J.K. Dobbins, wide receiver, Devante Smith, Terry McLaren,
Nico Collins, Jameson, William so underrated right now, you know, who's going to be a big
factor for a resurgent Detroit team. Oh, by the way, Tyler Lockett and Brandon freaking
cooks from the Cowboys. I mean, we, they're going to be, we want to start all these guys.
That's going to be our biggest issue is how do we not start, you know, we've got to pick two of
these receivers. Yeah, this is not best ball. No. And then, you know, I like where we're sitting with
tight end. I'm sure we'll end up adding another. And then we have the one five and the two four and two
thirds. So not bad, not bad. I think that's a team that we can compete with this season.
Hopefully, if we get a little luck at the quarterback position. I agree, Drake. I think we're already
going to be looking rookie quarterback here.
Heck, maybe we can consider a trade for a veteran if one comes available.
Yeah.
You know, would you rather have a solid veteran quarterback or like Will Levis?
I mean, like, you know, I think I'd probably take the solid veteran quarterback.
So let's see if maybe we can see if somebody will bite for that fifth pick.
Because, again, we have tons of other draft picks to use in that league.
Yeah, and I think one of these wide.
receivers, maybe a Brandon Cooks or a locket or maybe people love, you know, James and Williams,
they love the unknown.
You know, you could get something for him and we can get ourselves another legit quarterback for
23.
So yeah, this is fun.
So two point stance.
We're on the board.
We're officially parents, Joe.
Congratulations.
We've adopted this Super Flex Dynasty team.
I hope you guys enjoyed this tonight and we'll follow along with the team all year, you
know, the little baby two-point stance.
And we'll teach him to walk and throw a baseball.
And hopefully by the end of the year,
it'll be carrying us a trophy, baby.
I love it.
