It is the CFF All Access podcast. I'm Eric Froton with Josh Favallier and J.D. Yankee, as always. And I'm wearing my Rams regalia. Yeah, yeah. Don't you like the Argyle Rams? For the, in honor of the Dolphins game on right now, they're losing 10 to nothing. But I wanted to give you a little Christmas spirit. You know, we don't get to do this all year long. But since Christmas extends to any time after, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh,
Halloween nowadays, at least that's what the stores tell me.
Then I feel like I'm justified and wearing.
All right, Josh, you can take the leaves.
Such a clean look, man.
I love it.
Oh, thank you.
Wait, way to represent you.
Our guy will always plays.
Our guy,
timeless.
As a Bucks fan, I know what it's like to root for a team that's losing.
So I can, I can sympathize for sure.
We have point 21.
Leland in the chat.
We got a good evening, gents.
Go Ducks.
Our boy, Leland, a faithful friend.
Leeland, long time, fantasy guy, long time.
Yeah, yeah, love having them on.
All right.
We're going to start off tonight talking about,
in, you know, really celebrating.
We have finally gotten to playoff time.
My boys, JD and Froton made it to the playoffs
and the CFF King's classic.
Well done.
I was a Knicks and Knackle tackle at the two-yard line
away from getting in.
Oh, are you serious?
Oh, man.
I need to tell us.
Tell us the tale.
Give us to set the stage for us.
Well, old JD couldn't throw his boy a bone here.
Oh, he didn't get JD too.
Oh, I love it.
So 197.
I needed.
So it was me versus Dwight, right?
And so we're playing for the 16th.
Yep.
And because he had me on points, I had to beat him head to head.
And then I had to beat J.D. as well.
And, you know, I'm staying up for the Hawaii game because I got next.
snuckle. He's done nothing. My boy
catches like a 53 yard bomb
and gets caught at the two yard line. And if I would have got the
touchdown, I think that would have put me over JD in that game.
And look, JD didn't need it.
He's like 15 and 7 in that league.
He could be 14 and 8 going into the playoffs and been the same.
And if so,
every single CFF All Access podcast
host that's in that league would have made the playoffs
between our late Mike Bainbridge.
He's not dead.
He's just not with us.
Our late.
Right now.
We're giving a,
we're giving a eulogy for Bainbridge here.
And he just moved.
That's all.
Yeah, that's it.
And, uh,
but Frotan,
you are number three.
Yeah.
I came in the playoffs.
Just missed the buy,
unfortunately.
Uh,
I was a heartbreaker,
but.
And then J.D.
You're number four.
Is that correct as well?
That's correct.
Okay.
And then Bainbird is two, right?
So you guys are 2, 3, 4, I think.
Yeah.
Somewhere like that.
I play Dwight, as you mentioned.
So I get DJ Peebles, who is nice enough.
Dwight does the DJ accommodations for the fantasy football expo every year.
He wasn't able to do it this year.
He was back home.
But each of the previous three times I'd been there has been Dwight.
And hopefully again, I missed Dwight.
Yeah, for sure.
He's a good dude.
Yeah.
Well, good.
to you guys in the playoffs you guys need to take down our boy jared he's number one in that
league killing it and he's up like 300 points but uh jared jared jared doing again going to go and watch
the chastin the nattie and defending the natty podcast with our friend jared jared and nate
over there uh at campus to canton please we always love to give our friends a plug and we're going
to whoop you jared we've had enough all right you had a good regular season and now's the
I think Jared every year has figured out a way somehow just stumble at the one-yard line.
Jared is a tinker.
The earnest viner.
Man, he does.
He's on top of the waiver wire.
Like, he is fastidious about his management, you know?
So that's, he does well.
You got to tip the cap.
Yeah, for sure.
You'll get it.
Hey, JD.
There's a comment in the chat.
I think Froton will enjoy the story as well.
But we need the story of how you turn $9.
into whatever you want to tell us,
because I will not reveal things if you don't want them revealed.
So tell your parley when Devin Scott says.
So the story is usually I spend an ungodly amount of time
handicapping and playing DFS because I believe that college football DFS
is the single most lucrative market to those who are in the know.
Not many exploitable markets out there.
That's definitely one of them.
So anyway, usually that's what I do,
but we had a family event this weekend.
So I was traveling and was on the road.
and was watching the kids and did not have my usual time to set any DFS lineup.
So I actually took my first week off and then was sitting there Saturday morning before the game start and said,
you know what, I need a little action to get me through this day to check me on the phone.
So let me whip together a few parles.
Let's boot up the old accounts here for the first time in a year.
Because normally that's not where my handicapping time is spent.
It's either on finesse here, DFS.
So anyway, firing them up, threw in about three, four parles.
tried to throw in all in one on the player props.
So I'm just going to play all my player props as a parlay,
but Bobata got some pretty strict limits over there.
So I had $8.90 left.
So I said, let's fire off some of my favorite bets.
So we took a look at West Virginia.
Okay, they're downgraded by the books because they have this Nico left-handed
quarterback.
No one's ever heard of.
Well, he's pretty good.
He's not a downgrade from green.
Green is pretty bad.
So let's fire up West Virginia.
Austin College versus Syracuse.
Okay, Syracuse throws for a lot of yards and people like the stats,
but they're not a good football team, and they don't really play defense.
And Bill O'Brien knows how to coach football.
It's been forgotten about.
So let's fire at Boston College.
Colorado to Texas Tech.
I mean, we all know Shiloh Sanders is going to get a fumble return with 50 seconds left
because Barton can't help himself.
He absolutely poops all over himself.
So let's fire up that one.
That was the most of the number.
I actually grew up on more late when that happened.
I actually didn't even see it.
Checks an hour later said, oh, wow, they did score touchdown.
Impressive.
So, BYU versus Utah.
We all know the reps are going to bail out BYU and get them to the college football playoffs because it's a good story.
So sure, fire that one up the over.
Conspiracy theory at home against Washington.
Washington can't defend the rush.
That's all Penn State wants to do.
Easy whiteout game.
Are you kidding me?
That one never doubt.
Georgia Tech versus Miami.
Miami's the luckiest undefeated team we've ever seen.
They almost lost to Cal.
I went to sleep for that game.
I woke up.
I thought they had lost.
They're not a good football team.
You got to fade them.
Haynes King coming back.
Who cares if he can throw the ball or not?
You don't need to be in Miami.
They're bad.
Defensive or special teams touchdown scored.
Kansas State or sorry, Iowa State versus Kansas.
Will we all know the ball hawking corners that exist?
Mello Dotson.
Shout out Mello Dotson.
Love you.
Kobe Bryant.
Okay, they gamble.
They give up a lot of points.
They're ball hawkers.
They're talented.
On the other side, you got Jalen Daniels.
I mean, good Lord.
He loves to hand out.
Hands out picks like their candy.
So, yeah, we're going to play the defensive or special team touchdown on that one.
And then last one, at least, Elijah Gilliam.
first touchdown score against Hawaii.
Fresno State can't really throw the ball.
Raylon Sharp wasn't really reported as going in banged up.
No consistency throwing the ball.
Hawaii, it's 25 Malan hour wins every time they play a home game.
They're not going to score on that good Fresno defense.
They're not going to do that early.
So all told, just just a fair amount of luck.
That's literally the last play of the last game of the week.
So I was happy to turn that into $9,994.61 cents.
Wow.
That is so funny.
I love it.
Dude,
crushed it.
Well done.
I'm proud of you, J.D.
It's a lot.
I don't know what to say.
I mean,
just the,
just the amount of,
like,
different parlays that you had in there.
It's just,
I mean,
deep,
it's a special team session out of.
What were the literal odds on this?
Was it one in one thousand?
Like,
when it's all?
Like, I mean, to win $9,000, is that essentially what it was?
Yeah.
Yeah, it was $8.90 to just below.
God, holy, dude.
That's incredible, man.
That's amazing.
And people play the lottery.
Unbelievable.
All right.
Well, congratulations, sir.
Let's take a quick break.
We're going to come back and talk some favorite waiver-wire pickups.

Favorite waiver pickups.
Oh, real quick.
Stephen Jackson in the chat.
He says one host made the playoffs in the 50 teamer.
There was a host that made the playoffs.
That was me.
But look, Stephen Jackson, congratulations.
He won the SEC.
I came in second place.
Oh, that boy, Jacko.
I could not overcome that.
So I'm a 4-5 in the playoffs.
And he's a, I think, a three-seed.
So congratulations.
Stephen, good luck, and hopefully I see you in the finals, and that'll be fun. It's a pretty
prestigious award, you know, a league led by Thor and Froton, and Steve Jackson obviously
does a ton with that. If you're not following him on Twitter, you should, because watch, you can get
from him there, so. Yep, six and five. Six and five, I missed, I just missed it. I was a, a gunner
helm over CJ DePray start away from me.
Oh, no. No. God, I know. So he was the one week to pray did anything.
Oh, there's the helm. Okay, I don't want to talk about it. There you go. J.D., you were pretty
close too, right? You kind of made a comeback. I'm assuming I was the first team out because I'm
eighth in the standings and let's see where I am and points scored. I'm, I don't know,
similar. I think it's eight as well. So, yeah, with seven and
four and I came in third because I know sometimes if you're third you sneak in the playoffs
so it's too lazy to look up how the playoffs work I was just hoping I got in looks like I missed
the cutoff yeah it's top we all have winning records you know it could be worse yeah it's tough
it must have changed though no because there used to be because the conferences are different now
that right so now it's just top two they are a difference it's actually technically 48 teams
and uh four conferences now instead of five so yeah that changes the dynamic with 12
Yeah, kind of cheap in that trophy when I win it because it's only 48, not 50.
But, you know, it is what it is.
Not at all.
Hey, it's still plenty of money, Josh.
You just.
Don't worry about that.
It's still plenty of money.
You're good.
Hey, plenty of money to reinvest in props and CFF.
We'll be rooting for you.
But we are not talking.
Yeah, props.
We're not, but we're not talking props tonight.
We are talking favorite waiver wire transactions of the year.
And then we'll get into our favorite wire transactions of this.
week because we have playoffs coming in CFF.
So, JD, let's start with you.
What are some of your favorite WaverWire pickups this year that either you called or just
that you saw that hit this year in CFF?
I'll start with the quarterbacks.
My number one favorite is Tyler Huff for Jacksonville State.
And of course, I guess I'll pair him with the running back, Trace Stewart, because without
those two, probably wouldn't have made the playoffs.
in a lot of the leagues I'm in and just kind of plug in play the last five, six weeks,
and they've had some monster weeks.
So definitely those two have been very, very good to me.
By the way, the ending on the Jacksonville State game was crazy,
but somehow I've found a bit of 30 points last week.
It just seems to be what him and Stewart do.
They just find ways to score a million fantasy points.
The other quarterback I had to shout out was Devin Dampeer,
and I actually didn't end up with him a ton,
kind of a guy that we've talked about early on and then haven't
because he's no longer been on the waiver where he's been really good.
But even just watching him last week,
as I said,
was out of town.
So I didn't catch a lot.
But definitely just even just seeing him,
man,
that guy is so much fun.
So much fun.
He's been probably my favorite quarterback to watch visually,
just the swagger he plays with.
And I don't know.
It's called me stupid,
but that's something I love to have on my fantasy teams.
When I'm watching a player,
I don't want to see a Kyle McCord needing 60 throws to,
to hopefully hit 300 yards passing.
I want to see a Devon Dane Pier
absolutely jukeing the shoes out of defenders.
So those are my favorites at quarterback running back.
Yeah, that's good.
For a time, what you got?
Well, I just had a few in terms of,
I went through and looked at who was on the waiver wire
after our regular best balls
and after another my home league
where we don't have a waiver wire.
So I said, all right, well, who didn't get drafted
and who were the best.
players from that since those are the best year-long pickup.
So that's kind of how I looked at this.
And right out of the gate with quarterback, you got to look at the Army-Navy
connection, the service academies with Bryson Daly and Blake Horvath.
Preseason, Daly had a 5% preseason ownership rate.
He's everywhere.
Good luck finding him now.
Obviously.
And then the same thing with Horvath, especially in those four-point passing touchdown
leagues where the rushing touchdowns are just death.
Horvath only had a 1% preseason ownership rate as well.
Because both of those themes, it seems like ancient history, but last year was a real reset year.
And with the service academies, it takes a little time to get into the system and to get used to that.
And there was also, you know, coordinator change.
So, you know, there was a little bit of coming together.
But boy, did that.
So if that was certainly, you had to look at them from quarterback, Ben Woolridge for Louisiana, our boy, Wully.
3% preseason ownership rate.
He's been right as rain in terms of the past five games.
He's been high 20s, at least 30.
And then another one, 3% preseason ownership rate,
Haj Malik Williams, UNLV.
I mean, the Saluka situation, all that, he takes over.
And even though he missed that first few weeks or so,
gosh, he has not skipped a beat.
And at 3% just been a valuable piece.
for anybody who's been able to acquire them.
Yeah, I love those a lot.
Yeah, some guys, I have a little bit of, like, the front and back end,
so guys that I picked up early on and then guys I picked up later.
And definitely, like, Tyler Huff would be one of those that really led me.
Alonze Barnett, you know, really early in this set.
He's taking a dip the past, you know, I consider it him, obviously,
because if you go by points, he definitely has.
You look at the past three weeks, though.
He has been nothing.
He's been a detriment.
unplayable.
So,
but,
but yeah,
there's no doubt.
Those first,
like five weeks,
forget it.
And I think you have to be able to,
like,
know when to fold on some of these guys,
right?
And so for me,
like with someone like Alonze Barnett,
I've kind of traded them out for Kate and Hauser with ECEU,
kind of looking at their schedule down the backstretch and going,
all right,
I'm going to,
I'm going to play him.
And honestly,
he got me into the 50 team or playoffs with a 53 point performance this last week.
And just,
I mean,
talked about him.
Yeah.
You know who drafted Kettenhouser?
Me, jerk.
Then Garcia has a job, and I've got to drop them because you can only have three QBs on your roster at all times.
So I have to play rotate the QBs, and Garcia gets like the first month, and then you swoop in and grab Hauser.
Oh, God, the QB position is the bane of my existence in me this year.
That being said, nice job, yeah.
I'm glad he's working out for you, at least, as opposed to a rando out there.
and tournament.
Yeah.
So, good.
Congratulations.
You're welcome.
Yeah.
I appreciate it, man.
Yeah.
So, look, like, he's been a guy that I've been able to trade out for my
Barnett shares, which I had a bunch of Barnett shares that's trading them out for
Hauser.
And, you know, we've kept that ball rolling for sure.
And then, you know, I mean, some other guys that we talked about early on and guys that, like,
Desmond Reed, Isaac Brown, um, Caden Durham, all these, essentially freshmen or transfers that have
come in and really, you know, done well, especially Isaac Brown and obviously Desmond Reed early on.
So, yeah, like those.
And it's interesting.
I mean, observationally looking at this and going like, man, a QB and running back,
there's a lot of like guys we've been able to pick up this year from a wavewire perspective.
And wide receiver seems like it's been a little bit tougher, at least the guys that I was like trying to find.
So who are some of the wide receivers that you guys picked up or,
that you just have noticed that I've had success for you this year?
Well, I had, excuse me, just a couple of running backs that I wanted to touch on.
Obviously, Caleb Johnson, 24% ownership preseason.
Obviously, owned absolutely everywhere now, but you forget him and LaShawn Williams.
LaShawn Williams, Caleb Johnson was hurt all last year.
And then in 2022, he had like a two and a half percent, two and a half yak,
as opposed to Lashon Williams was maybe around 3.3.
It wasn't elite, but it was decent.
And he was kind of the incumbent.
You didn't know what you were getting kind of out of those two.
Maybe J.D. did, but at a 24% ownership rate after drafts concluded right as the season started.
That's a pretty good deal out there on the wire.
And then the hanky-panky man, Anthony Hankerson, 21% ownership rate at,
Oregon State now is a certified USDA grade A bell cow.
He's got the brand and everything.
He's indispensable RB1-2 every week.
For wide receivers, Ty Felt and Maryland.
Absolutely.
Got right out of the gate.
Billy Edwards picks up is probably, as I've stated,
and I think you guys probably agree,
as good or if not better, talent-wise
than Talia Tago Vialoa.
and be able to do in distribution and get the ball to Felton.
He has converted as a wide receiver one that we've really, I mean,
typically we've seen Maryland spread it out a little bit.
He's been a true wide receiver one.
Prather's been a short yardage guy.
He had zero 40 plus yard receptions, Gaden Prather.
So it's been the tie Felton show.
Jack Bash, wide receiver, tight end, TCU.
Oh, I don't even need you know.
And along those lines,
Beyond Williams had at a 16% preseason ownership rate.
Yeah.
So you see what he's done carrying the ball and just being used as,
it's just an overall total weapon, almost like Chanel style from, from Colorado.
It's kind of the comp you'd see.
Oh, that's a good comp.
Thank you, my brother.
And then last two are hybrids, right?
And this is something we probably should have addressed preseason.
This is on us.
Both Anthony Morrow and Breschard Smith,
Anthony Morrow for Colorado State, Prashard Smith, SMU.
They're considered wide receivers.
They're not wide receivers by any metric.
But my gosh, I have Morrow in a couple leagues.
I have, you know, Breschard in a couple.
And let me tell you something.
That's an every week starter at wide receiver,
right as rain, if you have those guys.
It's just such a high floor.
There's so little variance on them.
You had to take advantage of those loopholes.
Yeah.
Yeah, for sure.
JD, what's you got?
Yeah, why receiver?
I feel like there haven't been as like usually there's some total monsters that emerge.
I think there haven't been as many in the ones that kind of are like Bershard Smith.
It's kind of like the loophole thing.
And then Bess, obviously, is tight end.
So I think it's been a little bit of a strange year.
Just before I forget about him,
I want to talk about Luke Y song with New Mexico because he was like my favorite on this list by far until he got hurt.
And of course, he's been hurt and hasn't been producing lately.
But like really carried some of my teams was really a priority earlier in the year.
As far as my favorite is DT.
Sheffield on North Texas.
I believe I talked about them the first show we did on waiver wires.
And I'm like, okay, Damon Ward went off.
But this DT guy, like, let's not forget, he was everyone's favorite player last year and is now
on a team with no defense and only offense and just had like, what, 1113 targets week
one and is kind of going forgotten about.
So did I foresee 11 touchdowns in eight games?
Of course not.
But he's been really good throughout the Army game because that's Army.
Other than that, the QSA wide receivers.
So Eric Rivers has just been a monster.
And of course,
that's skewed by that,
what,
60 point week he had.
But him,
and a guy of view similarly is true Edwards on Louisiana tech.
It's just kind of like,
I guess the takeaway for me,
the way of you,
this is more as like takeaways
for how to find these guys next year too.
It's just like,
okay,
well,
if the team's bad and they're playing other bad teams,
and the system has a history of featuring wide receiver ones
that blow up,
like especially,
what is it,
Chris Mitchell who's on Notre Dame now.
Like, okay, clearly he's not an elite talent.
And we saw the year he had a Florida International.
So maybe take advantage of that a little more in the off season.
Like I feel like I should have seen that coming.
And then true Redwards, like I get, we didn't know he was going to be the wider receiver one.
But once it was clear, like once you start getting 11 targets in a game,
then you kind of do that two weeks in a row.
And we saw it with Smoke Harris last year and there's no one else producing on the team.
Kind of just some takeaways for me.
Like these are the guys that just go undrafted and no one talks about.
And same with me.
I wasn't drafting them.
I wasn't talking about them.
But as soon as you see them getting those targets and you know the system,
like those are my favorite pickups.
Like it just seems so obvious in hindsight with these guys and just wish I had them in all leagues.
A guy I know that Froton, one of his favorite for props is Mr.
Trent Walker on Oregon State.
Oh,
Aaron Walker.
Oh, yeah.
I love Trent Walker.
Hasn't have the huge blowup weeks.
But like he's just a guy have thrown in a few of my lineups.
And it's like, well, there's a 15 points from a guy who is like 2% owned.
And then, you know, obviously it's a season's on.
It's going up.
But he's just been that like.
so consistently with like three different quarterbacks rotating there has really been pleasant
for me.
Kind of along the Alonza Barnett lines, but Ted Hurst on Georgia State, he's kind of falling off
lately, but like he still catches a touchdown every game because they just can't defend him.
One catch last game.
It was a touchdown, though.
It's absurd.
You make sure to catch it in.
You're watching the game, you're like, man, why would I start Ted Hurst?
And then he just pops up in the end zone every single week.
But he got, he was a one that felt good earlier.
in the year.
And other than that,
yeah,
it's been kind of tough
at wide receiver,
to be honest.
Yeah.
It's interesting,
like you talk about FIU
and Rivers and Chris Mitchell
before that.
And it's like,
you know,
you have David Yost
there as the O.C.
for FIU.
He's kind of a little bit
of a post hype guy,
O.C.
Because, I mean,
he was at Utah State
back in the day.
Missouri.
David Yose
Missouri at Texas Tech.
Also,
David Yost,
known for really good hair.
Yep.
Yeah.
Long,
absolutely.
One hair guy, just like your boy, Frotone.
That's right.
Yes, sir.
I used to get Yost comps in my earlier days.
In fact, that's what, that's like Bainbridge's first comp for me when he, like literally
the first time anybody saw my pretty face and hair was, oh, Frotone, you got a little
yoast in you, huh?
So that's, that's Mike Bainbridge, what is, um, originally for me.
So I have a fond, fond feelings.
That's amazing.
That beats my Bainbridge comp when he called me Aiden.
Connell.
Oh, Connell, I'm a fucking cop for you, J.D.
You know it is, right?
Do you know that that's on the money?
Will you admit it?
Oh, I can't believe you're in denial.
That's, oh, that's too bad.
I thought, I really had hopes in my heart of heart.
You would embrace that comp.
Okay.
Fair enough, J.D.
It's all.
Somebody, somebody, somebody sent me a picture of Riley Leonard's picture from ESPN.
And they were like, hey, I didn't know that you transferred to Notre Dame to play football.
Oh, damn.
Really?
You got Riley Leonard?
And look, that one picture, the way he's smiling the bottom half of his face, I'm like, I can see it.
I can see it.
We all know my QB comp is Rocky Lombardi, of course.
Yes, naturally.
Hats it to Chris K.
Chris K made sure that he put that, you know, to bed early on.
You know, you stamped that one on me.
So thanks to our friend over there.
Carrier Campus Canton. Love Chris Kaye.
Yes. The Carson Palmer
Doppler himself.
So. Yeah, right.
No, he's, he's Christian
Cage from
from WWE Edge in Christian fame.
And he knows
and EW. That's, he looks
exactly like he has the same hair
that it goes all the way over and everything.
I looks, that's great though.
I like the Carson Palmer cops. My God,
do we have any more? Do we have
more of these? I don't know, because he used
to have like, I think it was in
bio on CFF.
Oh, wow. Okay.
And then he's leaning into it.
Then, you know, kudos Chris Kaye.
Yeah.
But respectfully, I don't care what is Bosch and Cage.
Yeah, that's awesome.
Hey, we're going to take a quick break and then we'll be right back,
finish up this conversation and then get into our waiver wire pickups for this week.
All right.
Bobby over here says, I predicted this during the summer and it took longer than it should have,
but jade and my Ava.
Well, yes. Who else predicted that over the summer?
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, after, once I saw the Miller-Moss spring game,
and he threw three interceptions in the first half,
I was like, this is a situation that I sincerely doubt Lincoln Riley is going to accept for too long,
because look, USC, in terms of passing explosiveness and downfield, you know, 20-plus-yard passes,
they were in the bottom 15 in the country in both metrics.
How long is Lincoln Riley going to accept that lack of field stretching ability from his
quarterback?
And he knows he can't because the arm just isn't there to be able to stretch the ball.
He can't.
It flutter is too much.
It stays up too much.
When you try to do it, it hangs up, and it gets intercepted.
You just can't.
So it really restricts the offense.
And what can't go on forever will not?
Great call.
Bobby and and yeah I have zero as Miller Moss shares I was excited for a little bit there admittedly
after LSU you know I was on the I was on the field I was like wow that was a pretty nice job by
by Miller Moss but proved to be fools gold myself and jd were literally on the field for
miller moss stinking the entire first half against Wisconsin and then just mounting a comeback and
I don't know what Luke Fickle was doing.
They were up 2110 going in a half.
I don't know what was happening.
But we got to watch just an absolute collapse by that defense,
but inevitable.
How did you feel about them, JD,
when you watched Miller Moss live in direct?
Well, second half was pretty good.
But, yeah, you go back and look at it.
It's like what we saw from it was fairly basic
because a ton of team mistakes was the big takeaway for the first three quarters, right?
It's like, well, they really should be winning this game.
but good Lord, they can't stop making mistakes.
And I know a lot of that falls back on Lincoln,
but overall, he had a pretty strong second half.
But my main takeaway was just the touchdown runny had where he helicoptered.
And then I got a bunch of pictures with my camera where he's like shaking his head afterwards.
He's clearly freaking dazed and everyone's dapping him up.
So just a gamer.
But I don't see many games from the sidelines.
So I just, the football stuff always impresses me.
Some tough SOB.
So when I'm sitting here with my chubby beer gut, making fun of kids,
because they don't score enough fantasy points.
You know, I always remember,
even Miller Moss really, really, really impressed me.
So I try to keep it.
I love it.
I love it.
Well, sweet.
Well, let's get into our favorite waiver wire pickups for this week because it's
playoffs.
And these matter, right?
And so I think some of our transactions may be specific to this week or to the matchup.
Or it may just be,
there's a lot of injury situations too that are popping up and can be advantageous
to take advantage of.
We certainly did that last week.
I was able to pick up Kyson Brown in a few leagues,
and he didn't have like a crazy good game,
but one of the leagues is the 50 teamers.
So if you get 10 points out of your flex,
you're like, thank God.
So, but he looked good too.
So anyways, there are some situations, right,
that we might be taking advantage of injuries and things like that.
So, Proton, let's start off with you at the QB position.
Who are your favorite waiver wire pickups this week?
First off, Bobby also mentioned.
that I spent a grip to get Kyron Hudson after week.
I wasn't going to mention that.
In the 50 team.
No, I want to lean into it.
You know, yes.
I went after Kiron Hudson,
but I also went after Aaron Anderson that week,
who was an every week starter for me at LSU
when C.J. Daniels was kind of iffy on the injury report.
And it was like, all right, so one worked out,
but the other really, really did.
And I needed a wide receiver.
So, hey, you know, you take a couple of dart throws.
That being said, the quarterback position is like we've talked about last week.
It gets pretty thin in terms of, we've talked about the names before here.
But Brandon Rose, Utah, I think he's probably one of the newer ones that we haven't really discussed.
Mercifully, I talked enough about Isaac Wilson.
Do you realize they put out Isaac Wilson at 177 and a half?
Fandul listed him.
I hopped on that.
Oh, right away, guys.
Right away, I was on that.
I was hoping for one snap.
I was hoping for, like, you know,
a helmet pops off of Brandon Rose
and we get Isaac Wilson for one snap.
Couldn't give it to me.
Just the free roll of Isaac, Isaac Wilson.
That being said, I mean, I talked about him ad nauseum over the summertime.
I just thought this guy can't throw a forward pass accurately.
He had to happen.
Rose is pretty good. I know most of us watch that game.
He was good. You know, he could run a little bit. He was opportunistic about it.
He has a little bit of that, uh, the cam rising in him in that improv.
I thought he was at least worth looking at. He goes and plays Colorado this week where
we know that those games tend to be combustible, even though their defense has gotten a little
better this year, you know, and it'd be fair. It's definitely not as bad as it was last year.
But, you know, it's certainly a situation where he's going to have to keep pace.
He's not owned.
He's just, he's free if you are in a deep league and you're a situation like 15 or 24 team or like Nate's league.
And you need a guy.
Well, gosh, that's pretty much the one QB you can look at that's not owned that had a decent week last week in deep leagues that you can consider.
In less deep leagues, my boy, the Latin lover, the Latin lover, Fernando Mendoza.
Syracuse, Stanford, and S&M.
to wrap it up. SMU is a tough,
a tough role at home.
But hey, week 12 and 13, you get Syracuse and Stanford from a QB.
They just went up and put up, you know, 45 against Wake Forest.
Those are similar type defenses.
What more do you want?
I mean, he's, you can pretty much get him anywhere you want in most size leagues.
That's a pretty good sub if you're in a bad spot.
Sam Levitt for Arizona State, like Kansas State, BYU Zona.
I know obviously that kind of Kansas State's tough
But if you're on the back end of that
You could at least project forward
Zona everybody wants to play against Zona
And then Maddox Madsen
We talked about it and discussed it before
Ashen Genti they tend to load the box
Opens up things for Madsen
He's been doing pretty well
You got San Jose State
We know they love to chuck to Nick Nash
And Justin Lockhart
Who we'll get to
In terms of week one matchup
I think that's a pretty good one
Yeah
Yeah, I like those a lot for sure.
You know, I like the way that you're, again, talking about the matchups here and the advantageous ones.
And, you know, another guy that has a good matchup this week, he's like 27% owned, but Owen McCown, if he's available in any of your leagues, I mean, they got UNT this week.
Should be high scoring.
And McCown had a few rough games, but he's bounced back and has been actually pretty good over the last, you know, half of the season.
And then I mentioned him before by Kate and Houser.
He's got Tulsa this week.
Had to rob it in, didn't you, buddy?
Sorry, bud.
But, man, we're looking forward to that Tulsa matchup this week.
It should be lots of points scored there.
I believe that Tulsa is, like, ranked the last.
That's an attractive match.
FBS, yeah, it's pretty sweet.
So we'll see what he does.
But Kate and Houser, for sure.
If he's still out there, I think he's 13% owned is what I saw.
JD, what you got as far as QBs?
Another streamer option is Brett Gabbert.
Yes, still playing college football.
He plays Kent State this week.
So he's shown as only 9% owned.
And when you're that much of a veteran and they got some pretty good receivers,
I mean, he's been pretty decent just coming off a good fantasy game with the rain absolutely coming down.
So if you can find a good fantasy game with the rain absolutely coming down,
you probably can't against Kent State, right, unless it's just so much of a block.
out you aren't throwing.
But anyway, so that's a good streamer option.
Brayland Braxton for Marshall, want to call him out?
No huge game, but just a fantasy-friendly game.
They run a decent amount of plays, decent amount of tempo.
He only attempts about 20 passes a game, which you don't love.
But he'll get you a decent amount of carry.
He's a big-body guy, kind of an explosive player.
So matchups aren't fantastic, but they are good.
I'm glad Froton called out Fernando QWop Mendoza,
because I also had him on my list.
I call him Q-op because his gangly baby giraffe extremities
resemble out of one of the first viral YouTube videos.
But he should be going viral for how he's been playing football.
Man, you got to love these Berkeley smart kid nicknames.
I love the shout out, though.
Syracuse shootout team.
And then what is it, Stanford after that, they're a pass funnel.
So that's decent.
And what's that?
I was just going to say with Mendoza, I mean, his outbursts also coincided with Mikey Matthews coming back, Tobias Meriwether, right?
I mean, so now he's got a full complement of wide receivers along with Jack Endries and Tron Griselle and other guys that they've had there already.
So anyways, I thought that that was pretty opportune timing.
They really spread the ball around against Wake Forest.
You know, everybody got in the action a little bit.
And gosh, I think I don't know how many players got it.
pass, but it seemed like literally the entire
roster caught at least two.
So it's
a lot of its matchups, and I like
my nickname better.
I feel like
most people aren't noticing because it's Cal
and they were like winless in the ACC
until not long ago, but like they were
essentially down like half their line and half their
starting receiving core for
most of the year and they haven't run blocks
whatsoever. They probably won't start doing it all of a sudden.
Dichess too.
Diches just came back last game as well.
Right.
And he was at one point,
he was playing the most pass snaps out of anybody,
getting the most target,
like before injuries boo up.
He was,
and we all know how explosive Diches is.
So I don't know.
I think it's kind of trended up,
but now Ots back.
He's a good receiving back.
So it's all arrows up, in my opinion.
Last guy all shot out.
Yeah, me and Thomas out rushed.
J.N.
Just like I told you.
Jay Don't is going to finish the year
with like 1.6 yards per carry, by the way.
It's like, that's what I've been saying.
He's thought.
he has he's not very good or he's been hurt i mean he's been impressed at all what he he can both
of those things can be true fair enough yes and not mutually exclusive today all right i have one more
just in case you need a streamer uh walker eget couldn't get benched you never know they're kind
of rotating quarterbacks but throw the ball a ton and they play boise and you nl v next uh you're
going to need to throw to beat those teams so could be a streaming option yeah i like it a lot all right
let's go to running backs jadey why don't you keep going with your running backs sure thing um all right yeah
running backs are a bit strange this week there was none that i absolutely agreed agreed it's a tough
slate they're brutal we got we're like we do have some questions too so we can get to those
if you guys don't have a time but i guess we could just go over running backs like there's any you guys
love because the guys i wrote down like i'm going to be perfectly honest i probably am not
picking these guys up in my league so maybe
I shouldn't tell guys I'm not picking up because a lot of the guys that blew up were kind of filling in for the guys.
The only one I really like was Ulysses Bentley for Ole Miss.
And even his ownership shot up already.
Like it's, I think it's in the 20s now.
But with Parrish out for the year, he's probably got the starter on for an Ole Miss running back.
So he was the one that I actually liked.
Yeah, I agree.
Robichow went and blew up last week for BC.
And again, we talked about Bill O'Brien.
Obviously they were playing against Syracuse.
but, I mean, he went 28 for 198 and 2.
If he continues to get that kind of a load, sure,
they play SMU this week,
you probably won't want to play them.
But then they get North Carolina the week after.
So if you need a week 13 plug,
I think it could do worse.
Devon Booth has a buy this week,
but then you have Mizzou and then Old Miss.
You know, old miss is an ideal.
I think you could probably run on Mizzou.
He's getting, he's been really good.
He's been around 20 points.
Very good.
The past five weeks.
and he's they can run block look i don't know what to tell you if you're in trouble you could do a lot
worse than devon booth and uh lee bibi saw him in a couple of my uh leagues where he is on the wire
somewhat surprisingly including the king's classic so they play memphis rice charlotte okay
do a lot worse if uh if our boy lee bibi preseason favorite of ours is on the wire yeah now i like
those there's a question in the chat on basically
Dylan Carson from Air Force Jacoby Jackson
from Florida and then Kai Rovershow from Boston College
and you just mentioned him for a ton but you have a preference
between those three is Robos showed the preference here or
any consideration for these other two of
Jacoby Jackson or Dylan Carson I like Jacoby Jackson
especially I mean if you need I mean obviously this is a mixed bag
kind of yeah but you know he had 100 yards
in each of the previous two weeks.
Obviously, last week he didn't,
but he still got like a really nice target volume.
It wasn't like he was sitting there and was ignored.
And with UCF having to throw,
Dylan Risk actually looked, I thought, pretty good.
I think you could do a lot worse than Jacoby Jackson.
And I would put Robichow second.
I mean, he still, excuse me,
Jacobi Jones, you meant, right?
Or is it Jacobi Jackson?
I think he's talking about the running,
back from Florida.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
That one.
Yes.
The Florida one,
there's both Jacoby Jones.
I apologize.
My brain went to the wrong place.
I would still take that Jacoby Jackson.
The real Jacoby Jackson is supposed to because I apologize.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's how I go.
Yeah.
That's good.
Also,
do you think he survives Napier?
Like,
do you think he survived,
survives?
Napier?
Yeah.
Yeah.
I do.
I don't think they want to lose Trey Wilson and Lago.
And,
yeah.
And Lagway.
Yeah. Okay.
Yeah.
But.
All right.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I like Jackson, too.
I also like Baugh there.
I mean, Baugh's been getting a lot of carries too.
I do.
So I think right, like with Lagway potentially still hurt, not really any semblance of a passing game.
I mean, they both had what a total of like 40 carries between the two of them the last two weeks.
And so I think both are viable there for Florida.
and I think they're both going to get, you know, and share that.
And look, we just saw Alabama does run it down LSU's throat.
Woo.
So, I mean, LSU does not scare you, you know, on the ground.
I think that's also the game that Bentley, Bentley had a good game against LSU too, right?
Like five carries for like 100 yards or something.
10 for 100, yeah.
Yeah, 10 for 100.
Yeah.
So anyways, I think LSU.
you susceptible to the run so you could see Jackson and Baugh have a big game there.
And both of them are getting goal line carries too.
But, J.D., what do you think about this conversation?
I guess I'll just give Carson some love.
I get it super weird because Air Force has been super weird and we don't get injury updates
from the coach notoriously.
But like, if you have 33 carries in the game, which we expect to going into the air,
and all of a sudden you're getting it.
And mainly just for next week, he's got Oregon State on deck.
And if you have an Indian Oregon State's defense,
Yikes, they're in a tough spot right now.
Yeah.
I like it.
So I think our recommendation is all of these guys can be good pickups.
I think you just got to figure out which matchup you want to play and what do you trust.
So I like it.
Any other, I think that's it for running back.
Let's see if I.
Oh, Pellie Johnson from Northern Illinois, do we have information on Ontario Brown yet?
I don't have anything at the moment.
I'm not sure if he's coming back.
I will say, I think Tully Johnson's worth a speculative ad because a couple of things here.
One, Akron's defense is 112th and rushing yards per game at 186.
And look, this, I mean, this kid had 23 carries for 141 yards.
I think 96 yards after contact.
He averaged like four yards per contact after contact per attempt.
And for seven mistackles on the game.
I mean, this is a kid that think, I mean, he looks.
looks really, really good.
I know the fan base really likes them.
So if Antario Brown is not playing,
then,
I mean,
Telly Johnson did that with a healthy Gavin Williams too.
So I could see him having another game,
but I mean,
it's a bit risky at this point in the season.
You got to pay attention.
It's a Wednesday night game.
I mean,
a lot of factors that you have to consider here,
but there's probably worse pickups
than Telly Johnson as well at this point.
Yep, I agree.
Um, yeah. Okay. Let's get into receivers here. Froton. Let's start off with you. Any, I mean, I know the waiver wire is pretty thin now, but any receiver pickups on your end? Yeah. I mean, I think my favorite one's probably Winston Wright for ECU. And he's only 9% owned still somehow. He's been very consistent. So I'm kind of curious about that, especially in a lot of the deeper leagues where you really value guys who you know you can fit into one of the,
like a three to five spot for the swings, you know, have a three to five flex spots.
You just want consistency out of there, especially during some of these tough buy weeks,
like we experienced the past three weeks.
And right, I mean, he's a double-digit factory.
In terms of the last six weeks, he's put up double digits, five of them last week.
Three catches, 80 yards, two touchdowns.
Also, he gets carries at a carry for 15.
two games go two for 24, three for 28 on the carry front.
He's explosive.
He's scoring touchdowns.
He's just, you're getting the consistency you need in a deep league format at a 9% ownership rate.
Sure.
I feel like Seoul is more explosive, Chase Soul, but you're getting, you know, just a high, high floor guy.
You're going to get double each side of that.
I'm a big wins and right guy.
Taylor Morin for Wake Forest.
Like kind of been a little up and down.
he was better earlier in the season.
But again, on the consistency front, you know he's going to be out there every single play.
Wake Forest typically, again, you speak about bad defenses, you know, take a look at Wake Forest.
And when he goes off, he has the potential to go off.
He had, even though he had nine catches, 110 yards this past game, six for 104, two games ago against Yukon,
4-38 and a touchdown.
So he's putting up consistently 15 plus-point performances over the past three weeks.
And then previous to that, he had a couple of explosive ones.
So just in terms of consistency, you can't overlook what he's doing and the role he plays for a team that has to throw.
And then lastly, San Jose State, Justin Lockhart, he's not catching touchdowns.
But man, I mean, he's 5 for 128, 4 for 93, 4 for 129, 6 for 17.
48, 4 for 59 and a touch.
Like banging out double digits, close to 15 points, each of those past five games.
And we know that as, you know, J.D. had alluded to with Walker Eaget,
Samese State is going to be a position to have to throw over the next two games
or in the quality of opponents that they're playing.
It's just that simple.
And they do it naturally anyways as their default.
He's at a 13% ownership rate.
I think he's certainly startable in 14 plus formats.
Yeah.
No, I like both of those calls.
I mean, more in playing North Carolina this week, 64 point total on that game.
They are 11 point dogs.
So they're going to have to throw the ball.
I mean, I really like that call a lot.
J.D., we're going to get to yours in a minute.
We're going to take a quick break and then come back with J.D.'s wide receiver calls.
Take it away, J.D.
All right.
So I think you had some pretty good calls.
I had a few of those guys right now.
So good calls.
Those are some good guys to play if you need them.
A guy just want to say his name because I don't know if I've said his name.
And I pretty much made it a priority to get.
get him, at least in Dynasty Leagues.
I don't know if you can comfortably start him in season long because he's so up and down.
But it's Cam Vaughn for Jacksonville State.
Just the guy, I think it was the Kenneslaw State game on October 4th when I was like,
this guy clearly is popping to me.
And I believe he was like a high school quarterback.
So just kind of a raw kid, but a young player who was just like very clearly their best receiver.
And again, not a fantastic scheme.
But things change.
He's a guy I would add just to see what happens to him.
them, especially in Dynasty, because he's shown as 1% owned, and I just feel like I'm a 1%
because I tried to own them everywhere.
Other than that, what's right?
Great call.
Like, he's a guy you just expect is owned everywhere, and then you see he's 9% and, like,
is it just casual leagues?
Like, I don't know what's going on there, but you would think he'd be owned in pretty much
every league by now.
So good call.
Dimear Miller on Rutgers is another one.
So I assumed the 20 target game against USC was an outlier because the Trojans were down four of
their top five secondary players.
But then when you roll that up and you get peppered with targets and he's, and he's,
got what 13 targets like when it's two weeks in a row it seems like something's kind of
clicked there in caliacemanis we saw him lock on to daniel jackson last year it seems like he's
kind of locked on to milleris his new uh new guy he's just gonna absolutely force feed targets so
i i know it's ugly but there's a reason these guys are still available this late in the season
they kind of have to have something a little bit um ugly about them right and he plays
maryland too as a secondary uh i've been fading fairly consistently with my props they
haven't figured it out all year and i don't think they will anytime soon um last guy i'll shout
out is Kyriece White on Utah State.
Again, Jalen Royals went down.
This is a guy who's gotten at least eight targets in three straight games.
He's playing the slot position, which we know really works in this scheme.
And we know they have one of the worst defenses in the FBS, and they want to play fast offensively.
It's, again, the perfect recipe, not the perfect player.
Otherwise, he'd be owned everywhere.
But he also got knocked out at one of these games, because I remember I played him in DFS,
and it kind of, like, didn't get reported and didn't get a news blur.
But, like, I think people just kind of assumed he stunk.
But, like, he got knocked out super early.
and that's one, what is it, Hesterra?
The backup kid went absolutely nuts.
So I think there's a lot of buy signs with Kyrice White
and he's still available in almost every league.
Yeah, shout out Cedar Park Timberwell of Jack Astera.
It's a suburb team right outside of Austin.
Oh, that's hysterical.
I love it.
Thank you, guys.
Thank you.
I'm the worst.
My one shout out is going to be Jordan Napier.
He's a guy that J.D. and I love this last week in props.
He just set at 43 and a half on Friday night.
And we were like, yeah, that's going over.
And then he got 16 targets.
And nine receptions, 63 yards.
I think 50-something of those came in the first half.
So comfortably, you know, he had the prop pretty early.
But, man, 16 targets.
And again, I think Jay Shankoam Polk did play last game.
And so it's not like he was just falling in for an injured poke.
Napier is a true freshman.
So he's got some years to him left, I believe.
So if you have Dynasty, too, you can pick him up in that system.
But yeah, like Napier, anytime a kid is getting 16 targets.
And he shows some, like, serious athleticism at the Mountain West level.
And again, playing, you know, teams where they're going to need to throw the ball, right?
I mean, they got UNLV this week, you know, and they're,
going to have to keep up with them.
And that's a tough team, you know, V against the run.
So I have to put it up through the air to keep up with them.
So love it.
All right.
Tightens.
Last one.
Froton will want to give us your, if you have a tight end call, give it to us.
Oh, you didn't know.
Of course I have a time.
Do you have, but do you have, are you going to deliver it?
Do I have the titan call?
Oh, do you know.
I mean fashion?
Super one.
Oh, no.
I'm just saying, are you going to give us some hip hop?
Oh, my gosh.
No, I don't have to spit.
I don't know if I can do that again now.
I have a regular tight end play, just a regular one.
Randy Pittman.
Yes.
UCF.
Again, let's get down to, since Dylan Risk has been around, this passing games
did have been just more effective.
He's pretty good.
I watched him all of last game.
I took his over, advocated for it.
He made me look good because he sailed over that nice and easy, no sweat.
Randy Pittman is come right with him.
four catches last game, 62 yards.
Previous game against Arizona, five catches for 80 yards and two touchdowns.
Those are both of the games that Risk has started before that.
They hadn't used him particularly often, but gosh, it's clear.
He hadn't had more than three catches in any of his previous games,
five and four each of the past two.
Clearly been a focal point.
If you need a tight end, he's only 3% owned.
Heck, you can do a lot worse.
Yeah, absolutely. J.D., what you got?
I just, I like Pitman. I thought about talking about him a few times just because I like him as a player, but like with the offense and the usage, it wasn't there.
But like last year, because I believe he was a freshman last year, and his metrics were actually quite impressive while he didn't put up huge stats.
And then like, Brothon said it. Like you see it on the tape. Like he's very clearly a very athletic guy.
And now if they're throwing the ball more, I really like that call. So I think he's my favorite one of the week.
other than that it's rough jameson gears minnesota is he's going to repeat his 15 fantasy points
uh anytime soon probably not but oh i know he's been getting a handful of targets what do you do
exactly what bros smyrs pretty good yeah brosomers uh like a competent quarterback that ath
calais eminous wasn't and they have a short range passing game sort of a philosophy most of
it's within 10 yards are in that range and that fits gear what gears does you know so i i don't
for that at all.
Especially in desperate times, like we are if you're in the playoffs.
Brasmer is one of those quarterbacks.
It's like perfect for fantasy points, right?
He's checking down the Darius Taylor.
Like, here's seven three points plus whatever yard did you get?
You're going to catch seven passes.
Like the kid the Raiders drafted because he just peppered him with like a hundred million
darkest last year with Lobby.
That's what Brasmer does for you, baby.
That's what he does for you.
So a friend of, yeah.
PPR specialist.
Yeah, that's great.
Oh, very true.
Other than that, there's not really much going on here, fellows.
Mitchell Evans looks healthy if he was dropped or not healthy, but he's getting healthier as the season goes along.
So that was nice to see.
And then Shaman Mateer, I hopefully didn't butcher's name, but I guys have been around circles for all.
We've kind of been waiting for.
And there's, again, there's no other pass catchers on Arizona State.
It's basically what happens is they hand the ball off to Scataboo when he's playing or they throw it to Jordan Tyson.
And there's just, there's nobody else at all.
And he's kind of developed as that third option.
got it was back.
Yeah,
the gillery under has been a nice,
a nice little teaser throughout the season.
And I just want to back up
what you're saying about Mitchell Evans,
finally caught a touchdown last game.
But you go and look at the usage,
and it's just because of the Riley Leonard factor,
they simply do not put the ball in the air.
It's not like it's Mitchell Evans's fault.
You have to put it in the air.
They don't do it.
Yeah, absolutely.
Yeah.
The last one I got is Joshua Simon.
I mean, he's at 16%.
Last three weeks has been double digits.
You got 14.3 fantasy points against Oklahoma,
29 against A&M, and then Vandy last week at 13.
So don't, you know, 16% can be a bit of a high percentage.
It might not be available.
But if he is, maybe worth scooping up for you in your leagues.
All right.
We have a couple of questions here to end the show.
Shane asked, does Hankins take over from Mottie now?
We're talking about a Wino here.
Oh, that's your territory right there, buddy.
Why does he see for eligibility?
Yes.
J.D., you have any thoughts on this one?
I thought about talking about him, but it's kind of twofold because it's the Mottie might come back.
It's the, well, they also didn't really play the quarterback in that game.
So if you're not playing the running back or the quarterback, maybe you just know it's an easy victory over UL.
Monroe. And then you also have, there's the other kid, the other U-TEP transfer, Burgess, Torrance Burgess.
Yeah. Like, he's looked better than Hankins here. So why are we suddenly jumping on Hankins?
So just enough factors I didn't feel like writing him down. But if you got a spot for him, I mean, sure, you could have a Wino in the playoffs.
But unless we get more news, I wouldn't necessarily plug them into your lineups unless we get positive news this week.
Yeah. There's just nothing you can trust other than Madi is untrustworthy.
because we've said this for the beginning of the year.
Running back preseason.
You know, he was up there right.
Yeah, but we did.
We saw this potentially coming at the beginning of the year when, you know,
Texas State brings in U-Teps running back coach and then brings over two transfers
and Lincoln Paray was also not healthy last year.
And they were saying if they would have given him carries him,
there's enough warning signs here.
And look, Mardi hasn't been terrible, right?
He's in double-digit fantasy points.
quite a bit, but he just hasn't been the workhorse
that we were hoping to get
out of him when he was a top 12
you know, consensus running back.
And Jaylon Jenkins, now the Washington St.
Trentford, like, if I like your RB5
and you're a G5 teams, that's probably
not good sign for workhorse usage for anyone.
Yeah, for sure.
Yeah. All right.
Last question here from Shane.
Shane's just full of them tonight. I love it.
Jimmy Holiday.
And we, I mean, talk about
post-hypes, sleep.
I don't know, man.
I mean, I don't know what Jimmy Holiday is, but.
Oh, yeah.
What are we thinking of a holiday here?
We traffic in the post-type sleep service.
Like that happens to be our specialty here on CFF All Access Show as it turns out.
It doesn't matter if it's Tennessee, Jimmy Holiday.
Oh, wait.
Is it Western Kentucky Jimmy Holiday?
Oh, no, no, no.
It's Louisiana Tech Jimmy Holiday.
It's a different Jimmy Hall.
Naturally, naturally.
But, you know what, you can't help but be not be intrigued because
they're giving them carries.
And I can't help but love when I see wide receivers getting carries
and just the upside for the potential of scoring
and just being involved in the offense.
It's like, you had 12 touches last game.
I'm intrigued, 10 the game before, 12 the game before that.
If you're going to be giving somebody like a wide receiver,
double-digit touches in any fashion,
even if they are carries, half of them were, in this case,
nine out of nine and three good things typically happen like you have to consider them sure yeah no i like
it it's funny in this transfer portal era one of the things that's popping out to me is that like
look if you had talent at some point like if you were a four star or you know you had some clear
thing like holidays very fast it's like you can find a place to succeed in cff like you just got to
find the right situation and the right team.
But like, you have Tobias Maryweather that's scoring 17 points four years down the road
of being like a, you know, low four star guy that at least I like liked at some point as a
Devi prospect.
But it's just interesting.
I mean, watching some of these guys, I mean, again, that just they can stick around for
five, six years and eventually like they're hitting in some, some form of fashion.
Or stick around eight years a la Seth McGowan.
Or, hey, you never know, with Diego Pavia's new lawsuit,
trying to get the junior college years waived from the eligibility requirements,
who knows anything is possible?
Maybe we hit a decade.
Man, one of the guys I've been laughing about recently is, like,
remember when, like, Mike Washington was a thing at Buffalo?
Of course, I don't know, Mike Washington.
And now he's like, I mean, you got to talk about Seth McGowan,
but like, Mike Washington this last week had to get 20.
26 fantasy points against Western Kentucky 15.8 a week before.
I'm like, man, these guys just like don't die.
Just hanging around.
Just hanging around the margins of college football, the G5.
It is pretty amazing.
There's another, you know, hi, Jaylon Jenkins.
Oh, you're on Texas State.
Great.
Who knows?
He'll get a starting job next year.
You never know.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Oh, Shane's reminding me of Jonte Cook.
He's asking where he's going to go.
Oh, Josh's boy.
Well, you had Jonti Cook.
You also had Jeremiah Smith.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And I had quite a bit of Isaiah Bonn.
I was double tapping on that, which neither one of them worked out great.
But Johnty Cook, I could see him ended up at TCU, maybe somewhere in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, maybe SMU, somewhere in that area.
That's where he's from.
You all, I don't know, maybe.
Maybe like a New Mexico State.
Yeah.
One of those juggernauts.
So we'll see.
All right. I think that's all we got. I mean, it's not a great show unless we end with a Jante Cook reference at the end of it.
So, yeah. Well, J.D. and I will be back on Thursday night with a prop show.
We had a fun week this last week and we're planning on another big one. I don't know if we're going to be able to hit a $9, $9,000 turning into $9,000 parlay.
That was magical.
I think we can have a good week.
again for sure. But yeah, fellas, I appreciate it. Fun show. Everyone else. You guys know the drill,
like, comment, subscribe, do all the things. Make sure on any of our feeds, like follow them
because we have our own podcast feed now. So it's super beneficial for you guys to be able to
follow that and be able to get us directly instead of filtering through all the other
fantasy points podcasts. That's all I got. Until next time, do small things with great love.
Thank you.
