going to break down. We have the Tampa Bay Buccaneers traveling to the Dallas. I forget,
what is the name of that arena? Anyways, they're playing the Cowboys on Thursday night football.
It's a primetime game. Heavily favoring Dallas, obviously, with the undrafted backup starting for
Tampa Bay. The spread is eight and a half points. The over under is 47 and a half.
Let's start with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers side of the ball.
Scott, I don't know what to even make of this offense right now.
It was bad with Baker, and now we have an undrafted rookie playing quarterback.
What do we do here?
Yeah, but you see it at the top of the screen here.
We have Jalen Daniels projected as the QB12 on the week.
That means he should be started this week.
And so what you have here is what's the opposite of an unstoppable
force meets an immovable object, like the most movable object meets the most stoppable force.
So Dallas is crazy.
Like they're kind of the same as last year.
They have simultaneously the best offense and the worst defense in football.
They rank best on offense by points per drive.
They have the worst defense by EPA per play aloud.
Tippa Bay Buccaneers, by the way, have the worst pass defense in football by EPA per dropback.
Baker Mayfield's out.
You have Jalen Daniels, a UDFA.
This is Dane Bruegler's QB 22,
something like that coming into the year,
you know, in the, in the 2026 draft class.
But, you know, it's a great matchup.
Dallas ranks bottom three
and fantasy points per game allowed to quarterbacks,
fantasy points per dropback allowed to quarterbacks.
And Barry Lead alert,
Jane Daniels runs.
He runs more.
more than Malik Willis, eight carries, 55 rushing yards.
So third biggest over under of the week.
I think, I think that's right.
I think, you know, Jalen Daniels, you could do worse as a streamer.
It's just like the best possible matchup for a guy who probably sucks, but he runs.
Yeah, it comes out to fringe QB1.
I think we are way out over our skis on this.
Really?
Yes, Dallas stinks.
Guess who also stinks.
the Green Bay Packers, right? Jalen Daniels ran eight times in this game and still only finished
QB20 on the week last week. He threw two egregious picks. They're not going to trust him to drop
back more than 35 times at most, and that's if the game script gets way out of whack, which it could.
I'm not seeing it, man. They don't have the dynamicism at the skill player positions for Tampa
to really take advantage of this defense. No, I think this is absurd.
personal okay okay and i and i and i love you and i love chris and chris is really smart i just think
we are way out over our skis extrapolating one week of eight carries he wasn't a big time runner
in college even so like i don't know man i don't know i think like i'm just looking at our
projections and tray if you want to bring the the new slot machine up you know oh of course of course
that's the one that would pull jaylon daniels versus malique willis okay i i i think
think, you know, we're just punting Malik Willis at this point.
That's a good one to me.
Deshaun Watson's been playing great.
Also runs a little bit.
I would go with the Jalen Daniels.
You are.
Another good one.
Jalen Hertz.
Oh.
I'd go Hertz.
Okay.
Yeah.
Burrow, obviously.
Stroud, another good one.
Who you go?
You're going Daniels?
standing on the projections?
Yeah.
All right.
Well, there's others, too.
Like, we have Jordan Love projected QB15.
I'd take love, you know, against Chicago all day, every day over Jayland Daniels.
I'm sorry.
I think this is crazy.
So that said, I'm absolutely fading every pass catcher, you know, for the bucks.
I might be interested in a Chris Godwin receiving line for if you're a prop guy.
It's like 23 and a half or something, or 26 and a half.
But other than that, I'm good.
Bucky Irving, I think is a start.
because of this as well.
I just pulled it up in the fantasy points data suite.
Since the start of last season,
only three quarterbacks facing Dallas averaged fewer than 18.7 fantasy points,
which is exactly the same as,
or five quarterbacks averaged over 29 fantasy points per game.
Who were those five?
Who were those five?
That went over.
Russell Wilson, who sucks.
Jalen Hur.
Justin Herbert, Patrick Mahomes, Caleb Williams, so all your favorites.
And so we have a 17.4 point projection on Jalen Daniels.
And if you do the math, it's like, okay, every single quarterback facing Dallas, you know, hit 225 passing yards.
That's like, you know, nine points right there.
If he gets 55 rushing yards with a 50% chance at a rushing touchdown and a 50% chance at just one passing touchdown,
basically comes out to like 17.5 fantasy points.
So I mean, we'll see where he ends up on Saturday,
but I don't expect him to fall really too much.
You just said something that I actually agree with.
So we have a mechakbukas, the wide receiver 39.
It is possible, by the way,
he catches a Joey Porter Jr. shadow.
And then Chris Godman, wide receiver 56,
I might actually flip it.
Yeah.
Because Chris Godwin was the first read last week.
Dallas is also a premier slot funnel that was already the case before they traded for Joey Porter Jr.
They're giving up the third most fantasy points per game to slot wide receivers,
the 19th fewest to outside wide receivers, or the 19th most to outside wide receivers.
And yeah, so it looks like a slot funnel.
It looks like Jalen Daniels preferred Chris Godwin last week.
so I don't know that he's someone I'm excited to start by any stretch of the imagination
but um dude third highest over under you know someone worse you know worse past defense someone
could score points and I'd put the chips on Chris Godwin over Egbuka K. Dotton we're saying a sit
which totally agree with but the by weeks are here there's been injuries um he's got some skank tight end
value right I know that's a John Hanson term but he's his look at his route share
Scott. It's like absurdly high.
He's on pace to run well over 500 routes this year.
That's like kind of a magic number for tight ends.
At some point the production should match, I guess.
No, that's kind of always been the case with KDOT.
And he's always been top two in Snapshare at the tight end position.
It's crazy.
And he was only ever productive like that one three or four week stretch when everyone got hurt.
And Leon Cohen was the offensive coordinator.
Yeah, he's a mid-range.
a high-end tight-end one, even with a trash quarterback, just a good matchup.
But yeah, I don't know.
I don't think he's someone we need to spend all that much time on.
No, not at all.
On the Cowboys side, this is a kind of a start-um if you got him game minus, I guess,
Jake Ferguson.
I want to start with my guy, George Pickens.
Can we do that?
And the main reason why is I've been telling you guys he's a by-low candidate for a long
time, and this is why, this is the moment we've been waiting for.
Tampa runs single-high coverage at the second highest rate in the league.
Piggins, his targets per route run against single highs over 35%.
His target shares over 26%.
Both of those numbers, by the way, that's going back to the start of last year.
So since he's been in a Cowboys uniform, both of those numbers are bigger than C.D. Lam.
So he's a more targeted, more productive player against single high than Cedalam.
His yards per route run against single highs, 3.38.
That's higher than every receiver in the NFL not named Pooka Naku and JSN.
and I maintain, I still really like the role.
I think he's an awesome player.
He's got this great blend of, you know,
ball skills and separation ability.
So like I think he could tear up this Buccaneers defense.
This is the moment.
If we've been buying low George Pickens,
this is the moment you're looking to cash in on right here
against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Yeah, I don't know about that.
You might need to pump your brakes just a little bit.
So I talk to some pro betters, like that's what they do.
for a living and they say one of their biggest edges is ladders on receivers using our unique
fantasy points data schematic stuff so yeah like george pickens single eye so i i dug into this match
but that was the first thing that really jumped out to me was like oh baby it's a george pickin
spot because we all know we we always want to play george pickens against single high buccaneers like
you said top three in single high this year since 2024 pickens yard
per route run goes from 1.47 to 3.32. That's 88th to third. And so that's a dramatic,
dramatic difference. Also, by the way, the Buccaneers are giving up the second fewest yards per game
to slot wide receivers. So, you know, I know Flournoy is playing more slot CDLAM less than typically,
but more of a funnel spot for picket. And I'm like, all right, time to go. Let's ladder pickens up.
But then I dug into it just a little bit more.
And I noticed a great schematic matchup for CD-Land.
Because CD-Lam, we all know, is the guy when Dallas is bliss.
When Dak Prescott has blitzed, since 2024, C.D. Lam's yards per route run goes from 2.02 to nearly 4.3.3.
He goes from 28th to second best.
Pickens, his yards per route run barely improves.
His yards per route runs better when Dak.
when his quarterback's not blitzed, then Lambs is.
And so, oh, okay, well, you know,
now this kind of tilts towards C.LAM side
because we know Tampa Bay blitzes
at a top three rate under Todd Bowles.
I'm like, all right, well, maybe it's a ladder on C.LAM.
And then I dug into it more, or, you know,
I dug into it less, you know,
you don't have to go super deep into the weeds.
It's the O and four Buccaneers,
led by Jalen Daniels.
The Cowboys are 8.5.
favorites you know what this really is brett it's probably just a javanti williams three touchdown game
they just get a ton of really good starting field position a number of redstone drives they don't
need to air it out as bad as their defense is so i i kind of want to back off all these guys i think
george pickens is a start cd lambs a start but we might be too high on it and too low on javanti
williams is kind of what my gut is telling all right moving on game two eagles travel to jacksonville this is the
London game. It's 9.30 a.m. Eastern start. These games are obnoxious because they stretch out your
viewing experience for literally 20 hours on Sunday. But Jacksonville favored in this one and what is
technically a home game for them. The over under is 42 points, which is relatively low. Eagles are
kind of a mess right now, Scott. Lane Johnson obviously just retired. They trade Cam Juergens.
This comes after the AJ Brown trade. It does seem like how he's punting on this year and kind of
rebuilding the war chest for for future years and a future push. So I have no idea what to think of
the Eagles, especially from a morale standpoint, especially at a week they have to travel across
the world. Do you want to know how bad it is, Brett? How bad is it? They have the second lowest
implied point total of the week tied with Miami. That's they're saying the Eagles offense.
Granted, without Devontas Smith, Lane Johnson, Dallas Goddard, is Miami Dolphins levels.
like the the dolphins are trying to lose games i'm convinced to that now and that's how bad they
maybe they are too they just traded away cam jergins bro the the spread moved five points when
lane johnson retired that was like and i know part of that is just like oh you know things are bad
here but i i don't remember the last time that's happened for a maybe rob gronkowski maybe
for a non-quarterback um willie lampkin this guy starting at left guard for them
It's like my size.
Wow.
So 5-6, 260 pounds?
We could just end record.
We can just punt till next week on this one.
Anyways, I don't know how like the tush push works when you have a 270 pound left guard.
I'm sure they're going to claim he's up to 280 or 285, but he's not.
Yeah, it's just, this is a really bad situation.
Like schematically Donatian Wicks.
you know, has a decent matchup here.
When you're a mid-sized business,
you need every competitive advantage you can get.
Like an AI solution that works for you, not against you.
SAP Grow is built with AI embedded at its core,
working across every system.
And it's ready to go from day one so you can hit the ground running.

Well, I was surprised.
Will Shipley was so low because, you know, that kind of caught us off guard and we like injected a video and like a clip into the waiver wire. And I was bullish. I'm like, okay, like in the short term, this should be pretty good. Chris is a lot more skeptical. You know, he's saying, well, at a bare minimum, Jalen Hurd steals touchdowns and doesn't target running backs. He's also not convinced that they actually like Will Shipley as a Belkow. They just signed Damien Pierce.
And it's like not a great matchup on paper.
Jacksonville right now is the best defense by yards per carry allowed to running backs.
I would have had it as like, I don't know, mid-range RB2.
I just think, you know, we saw it with Braylin Allen.
It's Aaron Jones is just like you just kind of fall into good usage and volume.
And volume is the most important thing for the running back position at the end of the day.
And it's a guy who catches a lot of passes.
They don't have any healthy pass catchers right now.
But yeah, Chris is a lot more skeptical.
He is bullish on Dante Wix as like a fringe wide receiver too.
I really like the matchup for him.
Jacksonville's giving up the third most yards per game to outside wide receivers.
He finally ran more routes than Mackay Lemon.
It's the first time that happened all year in week four.
I think that's deserved.
So yeah, I, there's just no one else.
Yeah, I think that's a good projection.
Yeah, I like Krisby and Stingue with Shipley here.
Jacksonville's just been suffocating to running backs.
It's not just lowest yards for carry.
It's success rate.
They give up no explosives.
Lowest, second lowest explosive run rate allowed.
EPA per run is really bad.
They don't miss tackles.
They only have five missed tackles on the season, Scott.
It's like ridiculous.
It's like won a game.
So very just sound defensive team.
And the reason they give up production to outside by receivers is because they're just,
their whole goal is we're going to be sound in the middle.
We're going to play inside leverage, you know,
We're going to stop the run, not give up stuff over the middle,
force everything outside the numbers.
I wish the Detroit Lions would try this,
but apparently that's too hard for them.
So yeah, Will Shipley fading him.
I like that.
On the Jacksonville side of the ball,
it's weird.
The Eagles defense hasn't been super impressive, right?
No.
I know you called the Parker Washington blowup.
Another thing I saw on the data last week
and a reason that that backfired on you,
because we didn't expect this.
He basically caught a DJ Turner Shathe.
though. Oh, wow. Yeah.
It's like 65% of routes on DJ Turner.
We knew they were stingy against the slot.
We had no idea that they would just go full on, you know, DJ Turner, follow him around.
Well, here's the thing. I was a week early. The blowup game is happening this week.
He's going to have eight catches, 188 yards, two touchdowns. This is the spot. I worry about
the Eagles pushing Jacksonville here, but I was digging into the matchup. So Parker, Washington,
about 56% of his production comes from the slot.
The Eagles are giving up the most fantasy points per game
to opposing slot wide receivers
against outside wide receivers.
They're top 10.
So this is a clear slot funnel matchup.
Great spot for him.
We're too low wide receiver 15.
He's going to go nuclear.
This is the week.
I can't wait to hear you and Chris fight about this again on Friday.
No, I agree with you on this one, though.
Cooper de Gene has been less than savory this year so far to start the season.
said it last week, I think, actually.
Yeah.
He's been getting beat up quite a bit.
The numbers really bear that out.
The tape bears that out.
So I love this.
I love this take.
Yeah, you're starting Trevor Lawrence.
We got him.
Were you at a basal, too?
And he's a guy I've pushed back on you guys about, but Eagles can't somehow stop the run either,
despite two all pro defensive tackles in the middle of their defense.
Yeah.
So I think he's like the safest bet here.
You know, Trevor hasn't attempted more than 29 passes in a single.
game. They have like only 14 total dropbacks in the fourth quarter. They're 26th in Prow, 30th in
plays per game. He's eighth in fantasy points per dropback, but it's just like the volume's not
there because they're winning these games so easily. So they lean more heavily on the running
backs. And like that's exactly what it looks like here is 7.5 point favorites against an imploding
Eagles team. So Bejel Tootin, he's top six in all the efficiency metrics. He started off the year
like with a 60% share of the backfield XFP and that went to like 62% and 63% 65%.
And it's trending up.
He had two touchdowns called back last week.
I'm really bullish on him.
Chris is really bullish on him.
Ryan's really bullish on him.
You're a little more pessimistic, but, you know, certainly he's a start this week.
Yeah, I think he's a start this week.
Teams have had way more success than you would.
think against this Eagles front.
I mean, like even Washington ran the ball semi-effectively against them, which they can't
run the ball against anybody.
So I think that that's a pretty good signal for Tutin.
So any other notes here?
I mean, Jacoby Myers is a flex option.
Wide Receiver 36.
I think that's appropriate.
Yeah.
Again, I think we need to give more to Parker and less to Jacoby and Strange, but certainly not
mad at it.
Yeah.
Okay.
Let's move on.
Cincinnati travels to Miami.
Cincinnati is a road favorite by seven and a half points over under just 42 and a half.
Kind of gross.
We're without Jamar Chase and T. Higgins, obviously, which totally tilts things weird for the Bengals.
My play this week is Chase Brown.
I think he's the guy to be really in on, especially Miami's giving up a ton of fantasy
points to running backs through the air.
They've given up three touchdowns on the goal line.
You would just expect Chase Brown to be kind of the game play.
plan in this one, especially you don't want to open up Joe Burrow taking a lot of hits against a bad
team that you should be comfortably anyways. So I also dove into some man zone splits with
with Chase Brown. Miami's been kind of stingy on the ground, but against duo concepts,
they've been really bad, you know, 4.8 yards per carry, something like that. And week one
against the Tampa May Buccaneers, the Bengals opted to go to attack that odd front with a lot of duo
pounder type stuff.
And that's how Miami
they play a very similar front
to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
So I would expect the Bengals
to lean heavier on a man run scheme.
I know that's ultra nerdy and in the weeds,
but I think that actually favors
the Bengals and the run schematic this week.
So Chase Brown for me is my favorite play
from this game.
Yeah, I think that's a good call.
The stat I had on yesterday's show was
he ranks behind only Bijon Gibbs
and Genti in non-red zone.
XFP per game.
So running a bit bad in the touchdown department volume is really good.
He had 11 catches last week.
The dolphins are giving up the fifth most fantasy points per game to running backs.
Yeah, the note I had on Miami's defense, I think we arrived at the same place, but it's,
yeah, their past defense is really bad.
Their third worst and passer rating, dead last in pressure rate, fifth worst and fantasy points
per dropback.
But their top three in fantasy points per game allowed to wide receivers.
They're giving up the few as deep pass attempts.
But they rank bottom five to running backs, bottom five to tight ends.
It's also interesting that they have the league's worst defense against 12 personnel,
Cincinnati, you know, with all these injuries, they played a season high rate of 12 personnel.
They're top six in efficiency from 12 personnel.
And so you're looking at what we have here on the screen.
Dude, we both agree Chase Brown easy, mid-range, wide receiver, R.B.
Chris has Dante Myers.
Yes.
As a fantasy wide receiver one,
for those who don't know,
Dante Myers,
and I was bullish.
We talked about him on the waiver show,
the recap show.
He went to college at Presbyterian
and Delta State.
He was a Delta State statesman.
And then he went undrafted in 2023.
And then he was with the Saskatchewan Rough Riders in Canada.
He was a Grey Cup champion last year.
And,
yeah, sure.
He was the guy last week.
He also is only competition for for targets because
Chase Jamar Chase is hurt T. Higgins is hurt Gia Dutty's boyfriend is hurt
Mitchell Tinsley got cut earlier this year by the Bengals.
So it does seem like Dante Myers is the wide receiver one and it's Joe Burrow in a favorable matchup.
He could will anyone to fantasy relevancy.
Brett just threw a flag on the plane.
Who is Gia Duddy's boy?
Who is Gia Dutty, for one?
Who's Gia Dutti's boyfriend?
Is Gia Dutti, is that Will Levis's ex?
Yeah.
Okay.
And who, I didn't, she's dating someone on the Bengals?
Yeah.
Yoshi.
Oh, okay.
Yeah.
Wow, she's really in on mid-NFL players.
That's, that's something.
Yeah.
And so I actually, I'm, I'm kind of bullish on Mike Jasek,
Miami is giving up the third most.
They're giving up the third most yards per game to tight ends.
They're really vulnerable in 12 personnel.
Third most yards per game to tight ends and Brock Bowers missed the game that they played.
The stat I had was in 2024.
Over the last six games, T. Higgins was out or questionable.
These were his stat lines.
Nine targets, 30 yards, 10 targets, 68 yards, eight targets, 73 yards, 12 targets, 86 yards,
nine targets, 91 yards, six targets, 100 yards.
That's a lot of targets.
That's a lot of yards.
This trend didn't hold last year when Higgins missed two games.
Jamar Chase went nuclear instead.
There's no Jamar Chase.
So I'm kind of bullish as Mike Jaseki as like their slot wide receiver this week.
Yeah.
But I am also bullish on Dante Myers.
I think, yeah, he's not a top 12 option, but he's up there.
Yeah, I think that Dante Myers projection is crazy.
One week of, you know, nine targets.
And it was a, look at the game script.
They were getting drummed by the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Chase Brown had less, he had inches to work with, not even feet or yards,
inches to work with.
He averaged like 1.9 yards of carry in this game.
So they had to throw the ball.
I think Burrow dropped back literally 60 times.
I would not expect Dante Myers to have that kind of workload again.
I think you nailed it with Giusecchi in the past game.
And I was on the Fantasy Point Sirius XM show this morning.
I said as much.
I brought Mike Jusiki to the table.
That was one of the guys I wanted to talk about.
For everything you just outlined, but also schematically,
the Bengals are running 12 personnel at the highest rate in the NFL.
That was before Jamar Jason T. Higgins got hurt.
Now those guys are hurt.
You better believe Mike Jaseki is going to be their number one target out of the slot this week.
It's also a revenge game for Mike Jaseki.
And if you have a bad memory listeners,
Mike Jaseki was the last tight end to be told.
Oh, when he got franchise tag to Miami,
they're like, oh, they should get him a wide receiver tag
because he's basically playing wide receiver.
He's like Marquis Colston in this offense.
And then, you know, he's still a tight end.
Still listed as a tight end.
We're still getting paid like a tight end.
But anyways, I just thought,
I wanted to throw that in there after the Bowers conversation last week.
So I totally agree.
Mike Jusicki, start him.
Absolutely start him.
Can we play the roulette game with Mike Jusicki?
Because I think people need to know this.
Yeah, yes.
We'll take, take Mike over Friarmouth.
Brent and Strange, I'm taking Jusicki over,
Brenton Strange.
much every time I'm taking justiki over Harold fanning this week yep you say no yeah not
doing that I'll still go down Tyler Warren have you been a little disappointed with
Tyler Warren though oh I absolutely yeah yeah I think it's probably closer than the
tight end 11 tight end six we yeah that's fair trade do one more I want to try to get one
more in the top good Lord we we need to this is why you do not draft tight ends in
first four rounds.
I know Bowers looks amazing.
Trey McBride looks amazing.
Ooh, there's a good one.
All these guys are UDFAs.
Mike Jaseki UDFA, T.J.J. Higginson went undrafted.
Joanne Johnson.
That's a good one to end up, though.
Joanne Johnson or Mike Jaseki.
Very similar players, by the way.
I'd probably chase the upside with Jaseki.
I agree with that.
I think so, too.
So he's definitely a comfortable start of him if you got him,
tight end for us.
All right, let's hit the other side of the ball.
Well, maybe we don't need to.
but well no we have malik washington as a start and i like that uh dude he's sixth in target share
he leads all players in target share on expected run plays which what does that mean it just means
like he's their running game he's like he's the extension of their running game and they're
just they don't have a running um and facial tootin must be awesome facial toton that's it be
Ollie Gordon
Sorry
I'm
Ali Gordon
Jalen Wright
Devon H&
they must be awesome
I don't know
why I said
I'm Helen Keller
I'm Helen Keller right now
apparently
he runs over
half of his routes
from the slot
bangles
on paper
they're giving up
the third most
fantasy points per game
to the slot
to be fair
that is some tight ends
and like
maybe Greg Dulcic
honestly
like it deserves a shout
we have a wide receiver
29 which I get
he's had three or a few
targets in three or four weeks.
Tighten 29.
But the Bengals are giving up the most yards per game to tight ends after being historically
bad last year.
Last three years.
The yard of tight end funnel.
The Bengals are giving up the second few as fantasy points per game to outside wide receivers.
So again, slot vulnerable.
Is that Malik Washington and Greg Dulcich or just Malik Washington?
Chris thinks just Washington.
Yeah, I'm sure we could get a little higher on that Dulcett's projection.
It's not going to matter though.
You're still not going to start him.
All right, let's move on.
The Raiders are traveling to New England.
The implied point total is 45 points.
New England's favored by four at home.
It's kind of a sneaky fun matchup.
The Raiders are, what, three and one?
The Patriots have struggled, but they kind of came alive last week.
They're two and two.
They took down the Buffalo Bills.
I think it's a sneaky fun game here.
What do you got on the Raiders side?
I don't know.
not much honestly it's just you know gentie you're starting the volume's been incredible only jimier gives
averages more xfp per game um rock bowers he's awesome he's so so the one concern here brett would be
the patriots are actually giving up the fewest fantasy points per game to tight ends just 5.9 but the thing
is bowers is basically an x-y receiver he's like a white jordy nelson so i i don't think that matchup note
actually matters at all for him.
What do you want me to say that?
What do you want me to say to that?
Yeah, obviously Bowers auto start, Gentile auto start.
What about Michael Mayer, though?
Yeah, this is interesting.
I have him where Chris does tight end 22,
but Ryan, this was like his number one basketball call.
He was all in on Michael Mayer,
and he thinks Michael Mayer should be a fringe tight end one every week
as the number two.
two receiver in the offense.
I'm a little more skeptical personally.
I mean, they play in, would have seven catches last week with Bowers on the field?
I mean, he actually led in targets.
Yeah, but wasn't that a game you expected Spagnolo to shut down Bowers?
Yeah.
Sell out to stop.
By the way, I was pretty correct on that.
They sold out to stop them.
And they did a good job.
I think Bowers probably scored a couple more fantasy points than I expected.
But since Bowers has been back, they lead the NFL in.
12 personnel as expected their receiver rooms trash but they're like 54% 12 personnel 11% 13 personnel
dude they're in heavy tight end sets on 65% of their snaps Scott that's absurd I think Michael mayor's
sneaky viable because of that tight end 22 might feel right I don't know that we can project
ceiling outcomes with them obviously but like I I'm saying all this to say it would not surprise me
to continue to see something like this where mayor every week is like five catches bowers
eight you know i think i think that's like completely reasonable i think what mayor should be treated
as their wide receiver too okay then then then yeah if you and ryan are that aligned on it then
then i then i'll have to agree and maybe we can get out get him up to mid range high end tight end
two cool troy tucker i i don't like even wide receiver 35 Kobe white has established himself a
little too much for my liking for every time this guy touches the ball it's a big play
incredible what i what i try and tell you man he's good he's good he's good and do you know where he
ranks an ass right now no idea not even the slightest clue he's second best what's how low does the
route threshold have to be to get him on there 40 okay zay flowers cody white mike evans that's no kidding
no kidding i mean to be you know you see this with like the small sample guys you know maybe they have
specific plays designed up for them or something but sure sure well tucker really hasn't done a lot
Jalen Naylor seems dead.
So I, you know,
Bowers a mayor for me.
All right, on the Patriots side of it,
we saw Drake May kind of have a pulse.
Still looks bad, but looked better against the bills.
And that was a big time win for them.
Yeah, but look at where we have them ranked.
Where do we have them ranked?
QB5.
Do we actually?
Yeah.
Oh, my.
So I was peppering Chris with a bunch of DMs this morning, like asking,
well, why do you have Shipley, so why do you?
And I asked him why he loves.
Drake May so much.
And I don't know if he was just annoyed with me.
They just wrote back, I don't know.
That's the only time he's ever done that to me.
Yeah, it's, dude, I think the Raiders are kind of sneaky tough.
Oh, absolutely, yeah.
Yeah.
Their defense has been really solid.
Max Crosby, been a total game wrecker.
They rank fifth best in EPA per dropback allowed.
Drake May's pressure rate is worst in the league.
Shout out to D. Bro, though.
Dibro is so we know Drake May might be something of a strength of schedule merchant but
Debrough pointed out like the the Patriots were bottom five in motion rate play action rate
the first three weeks and then last week he jumped to like top five top seven in everything so maybe
maybe that was part of it also Drake may ran more like he did his rookie season he has that in his bag
he ran eight times in this game that that might be where that projection is coming from by the way yeah
How hurt is Ramandre Stevenson?
Do we know?
Well, he's not practicing today, Wednesday as we're recording,
but we're told he has a chance to play.
Jeff Mueller thinks it's good news.
He probably escaped a high ankle sprain,
but could be MCL related.
He's going to lean towards him missing week five.
Right now we have on the screen,
Remandre projected in.
If Ramandre is out,
Tray on Henderson is like an easy RV.
Oh, my goodness.
Yes.
He averages 24.3 fantasy points per game without Ramandre.
We know the Josh McDaniel's backfield is always one of the most valuable.
It's just almost always a perfectly even 50-50 split.
But now you get the entire slice of the pie.
That's really good.
Well, in the last two weeks, they've gotten nuked on the ground, right?
Kenneth Walker just went for like a buck 77 against them.
The week before, Travis H.N. looked like he belonged in the NFL.
And that's, to make him look like he belongs in the NFL, that's hard to do.
And the Raiders did that for him.
Yeah, that was another note for me.
Very quietly, the Raiders are what, bottom three and yards per carry allowed to running backs?
Yeah, Hampton had a good week before that.
I think he had 90 plus yards and a touchdown.
Yeah, I definitely, it's a smash spot for if either those running backs, you know, get the, get the line share of the load.
Yeah, 4.97 yards per carry are running backs, but much lower.
in production just because you know good game script they're three and one what yeah yeah fair point um any
notes on these past catchers romeo dubs by the way he's uh you see his separation metrics well i i know
it's great it's always been great throughout his career yeah i wish he wouldn't wear that guardian cap
though i have to like knock him a few places down i know i know you see this recent study
yeah he's got like negative aura for something that doesn't even help him have you seen these new
studies about the guardian kit it's like a 2% reduction in head trauma yeah 2% that's is that
worth the the or knock you're gonna get aura I can't say aura apparently I don't know I
don't know anyways seems like he's kind of settling in is the the wide receiver one right now
for them yeah well it helps Mac Collins is is hurt we sure you have him projected out for
this and yeah he's an ask God and and whatnot so yeah I think you say that term a lot you know
that. Yeah, fringe,
fringe wide receiver, too. I think that's fair.
Do you think it's becoming superfluous,
superfluous, the amount you say ask God?
Well, I'm trying to make it ubiquitous.
Ooh.
Is what I'm doing.
We're throwing out 70 point scrabble words.
I just don't want it to lose its effect on the people when you say
ask God.
It's becoming superfluous.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
Shout out to, shout out to the,
the thesaurus Brett bought last week.
So he could sound smart on the show.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I don't need to sound smart.
I do a podcast with you.
Oh,
that was pretty good.
All right.
The Minnesota Vikings are traveling.
You know what?
Dobbs probably falls to high-end wide receiver three
when we move May back down.
But yeah,
he's fine.
He's starting.
Minnesota's traveling to New Orleans.
To know.
To Naurlands.
To play the Saints, they're favored on the road,
despite having the second worst offense and football with Kyla Murray at the helm.
What a disgusting.
What is going on?
Like, they moved off of J.J. McCarthy that fast so this dude could run the offense.
He's trash.
They're all trash.
Yeah.
Oh, God.
It's gross.
I will say, though.
And yet, they're four now.
And yet.
You have a QB who runs, who's only QB 22, but Aaron Jones is a top five running back.
T.J. Huggins is a top five tight end this week.
Jordan Addison is a fringe wide receiver one.
The projections love these guys.
Hate the quarterback, love these guys.
The Saints are so bad on the ground.
It's unreal.
They've given up nine rushing touchdowns in four games, bro.
Nine rushing touchdowns of four games.
Did you hear what Troy Aikman said about Brandon Staley on the, my name?
Nike. I did. I did. He was just basically like he's lost, like he doesn't have any answers and he
knows he doesn't have any answers. Well, to, yeah, to be fair, they're getting in these game
scripts where it's like they're just getting teed off on, you know? So I don't know.
Three, three yards per carry, three yards before contact per carry. They're just getting gashed on.
It's like really bad.
I think Jones, as old and decrepit as he is,
and he has no wiggle left in his body.
I think he's got five force mistackles on the season,
despite three games of 20 touches in a row.
I think he's absolutely a top five running back this week.
He should shred the Saints.
Yeah.
I don't know how.
The most fantasy points per game to running backs top 12 and XFP per game
since Mason went down.
How can we go QB 22 for Kyle and Murray,
but also be bullish on Hawkinson and Addison together?
Yeah, that's a good question.
I think just PPR scam, an interesting note I had here is
Kyler Murray's going to see quite a bit of cover three.
His efficiency jumps by 3x against cover 3.
T.J. Hawkinson really improves against cover 3.
Yards per route run goes, jumps to 1.9 from 1.47.
And we just saw the proof of concept last week,
100-yard game, looked like he still had it.
Jordan Addison, I think, could
you know, catch a couple of deep balls,
maybe have a big game.
Yeah.
Anyways.
Not when I have a ton of confidence.
No, not at all.
It's just, when you get the Saints,
you get a ton of play volume,
good efficiency,
probably more, like you said,
more vulnerable to running backs, but.
Game script-wise,
the Saints have been down big in all four games at some point.
that's that's one of the interesting things like they were down 21-0 against the lines and every game after
they kind of start the same way which gets them into these super crazy shootout style games where
tyler shucks dropping back 50 times they can't run the ball and then the other team is just running
the ball down their throat the rest of the game so um on the on the on the saints side of this
or sorry on the uh yeah on the saint's side of this we're projecting tyler shuck cubby 11
and the Vikings defense is obviously tough
because of the way they blitz,
but there are big plays available downfield.
I kind of feel good about most of these matchups, though.
Should we be a little higher on Tyler Shuck?
So Minnesota is the toughest matchup for quarterbacks.
They're giving up just 12 fantasy points per game.
They're also the toughest matchup for running backs,
giving up the fewest fantasy points per game.
So I kind of feel like,
I feel like we're actually too high on Shuck.
I feel like we're a little too high on Alvin Kamara
and what very easily could be a split with Kendry Miller.
I think these numbers are completely inflated by schedule so far.
They've had a really soft schedule
and now it's going to be a really tough one.
They've played Malik Willis,
a broken Baker-Mayfield slash Jalen Daniels,
a Tyson, Bajun, Caleb Williams in the monsoon.
Did you remember that game?
Yeah, yeah.
It's an absolute downpour.
And then Jordan Love in week one,
who went for 387 and 2.
So the only time they've been tested,
They give up 387 passing yards.
Yeah, but if you zoom out and you look back at 2025,
they were also top three against quarterbacks last year,
top three against running backs last year.
So it seemed to me like it's just, yeah,
Brian Flores is awesome, right?
I mean, he's good.
Yeah, he's a psychopath, though.
I mean, he is.
Like, anyone that blitzes at that rate is insane, but.
It's cool.
It's badass.
It is cool.
But you know what?
Like, I'm even thinking last year,
I don't want to curb the whole,
thing, but like he played a ton of backups last year, didn't he? He played a, he got a Malik Willis
start. I know he caught a Brett Rippian start, right? I mean, this is a crazy take right now,
is that the Vikings defense is overrated. Four and no despite awful offense. Brian Flores is
overrated. It's just overrated slightly because of the quarterbacks they've played.
Yeah. And as I said, the one time they got tested by an actual quarterback, they gave up 400
to passing yards.
Yeah.
So, I mean,
if I say the Saints are the team to test them,
not necessarily,
but I think,
I think these projections are probably right.
I agree with them.
I think maybe Shuck even a smidge higher than QB11.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Not a prohibitive matchup like maybe it appears to be.
Yes.
Yeah, dude,
I'm looking it up.
You're not wrong.
It's a lot of really soft matchups.
Jordan Love had nearly 400.
Jalen Hurd, Stack Prescott,
Jared Goff,
all over 275.
Yeah, but then they caught like a Brett Rippian game and
Dylan Gabriel, Jake Browning.
Malik Willis.
Yeah, exactly.
So it's like, they've got some things working on their favor on the,
on the data side of it.
Yeah, interesting.
We good to move on?
Yeah, just Chris Olavé, he's, we're probably too low on him.
He's a wide receiver one every week.
He's hit double digit targets in six straight games.
He's so good.
He also, he's one of those guys who efficiency jumps against the blitz.
we know Minnesota is going to blitz 72% that they're insane but his yards per route run jumps to 2.74 up from 2.27
since 2024 so yeah and then the other guys are like low end playable just given play volume
do you see who I just picked up in the Scott bear ball no who did you pick up Devon veli oh he was on my
team a week ago nice well you dropped him I did I did know what to say because he is he is more fantasy
in Scott Bearable than like all but five receivers or something.
Crazy. Yeah. It is crazy. She's running a lot of routes, I think. Or is he actually separating?
I think he's separating plus some big plays. He said some big plays, which you get a big bonus for.
Okay. Well, he leads the league in routes. I know that. Yeah. All right. Let's move on.
The Cleveland Browns travel to the New York Jets. And this game is it's really low total, 40 point total.
The Jets are favored by two and a half, even though the Browns are three and one.
The Jets have been painfully competitive in every game.
They just lose it in the fourth quarter.
It's been kind of sad for them.
But man, the Brown's offense has been a revelation.
I don't think we expected to get what we've got out of Denzel Boston as a rookie.
Deshaun Watson's actually playing quarterback.
That said, we still don't love it enough to really go full commit.
And I'm curious to see Casey Concepcion projected higher than Denzel Boston.
What do you think is influencing that, Scott?
Yeah, I don't know.
I think that's Chris kind of just throwing his hands up.
It's like Harold Fanon, Fringe, Titan 1, and then KC and Boston are both high-end,
fringe, wide receiver 3s, and it's like a coin flip between them.
I would typically have Boston higher, but I actually kind of like this spot for KC.
The Jets are top three in Blitz rate.
And so KCC has 10 receptions against the Blitz.
That's more than Fanon and Boston combined.
His route share jumped all the way to 97%.
It started much lower.
So I kind of, I mean, again, it's a coin flip,
but I kind of like Casey a little bit more this week.
It's funny because I asked the question,
hoping you didn't know the answer,
and then I could come in with the answer.
You nailed it.
It's the blitz thing.
Jets are blitzing a lot.
KCC's been the blitz outlet.
It's pretty simple.
I don't know how much Chris is actually factoring that, though.
But if he is, hats off.
He probably is.
He has access to fantasy.
points data.
The most accurate, the best, most customizable NFL analytics data suite in the game.
If you are betting, if you are playing DFS and you're not using the fantasy points data suite,
you are at a serious disadvantage.
Very true.
Today's podcast brought to you by Fantasy Points Data and Lamborghini.
If you need a car, why not Lamborghini?
Because they're too expensive.
That's why.
Quintzhan Jenkins.
Yeah, we got a little bit of something from him last week.
Kind of.
What's the stat, Brett?
It's been a year, over a calendar year,
since he has averaged more than four yards per carry in a singular game.
That's insane.
It's like 15 game sample, too.
Yeah, James Cook has 14 such games.
Like only two games.
Jamir Gibbs is probably right around there too, 13.
Well, here's the thing.
The volume's good.
He's RB 13 by XFP.
He just had a career high, six catches for 43 yards.
Dylan Samson's still not back.
And it's a top five matchup on paper.
Jets, bottom five are fantasy points per game allowed to running back.
So I, you know, I'm a big Quinn-Johnshon Jekins-Hater.
Can't get mad at an RB 15 projection this week.
Hmm, okay.
You know what's interesting.
The Jets, their run defense, I think, is better than we think it is.
they just hit in a lot of volume.
Like they've had 116 carries against them.
But the yards per carry is decent.
And the, like, EPA per attempt is good.
So that's interesting because, you know, game scripts working against him.
So you're insulated a little bit just because the target volume is finally there.
And maybe that sticks.
But yeah, that's a good note.
Cool.
Harold Fandom is a fringe guy for us at Titan 12.
Yeah.
He kind of, he came alive last week too, right?
The whole offense seems to be trending the right direction.
Yeah, but there was this note last week or the week before from one of the insiders
who is just like, Harold Fanon's now the number three.
The team is obsessed with the rookies.
No, I won't elaborate.
It was like something like that.
It was weird, but it's like, I mean, that's kind of what it looks like.
It kind of looks like they're a little more excited about Casey and Boston.
So he is someone who's stocked down for me.
Okay.
He could have been a sell high yesterday.
Sure.
When we do our rest of season rankings on next Wednesday show,
we'll get to fill you in on all of these stock up, stock downs.
Yeah.
And when we do cooking with Brett,
maybe you'll give us your famous keesh recipe.
I actually do make a mean keesh.
Yeah.
But that's not what we're doing.
We're going steak.
The listeners have spoke volumes.
It's like 80% of the requests have been steak.
They want to learn how to cook a steak.
How excited are you for cooking with bread?
I'm pretty excited.
I got to get Trey some slides to put up on the screen for us.
We need to find a bet to make so I could do,
I could win Storytime with Scott and I just get five minutes to do it.
You know what's crazy is if you actually listen back to this podcast,
you'll,
you get Storytime with Scott almost every show.
Is that right?
Where you just fabricate messages we get on YouTube and super chats.
Yeah, it's pretty much Storytime with Scott all the time.
All right.
It's gaslighting Brett with Scott.
Yeah, there we go.
That's a better segment.
The jet side of the ball.
Gino Smith is a sit.
Are we cooling on Gino after one week of bad?
Because I feel like we were pretty hot on him.
Everyone at the company was pretty hot on him after a couple weeks.
Bro, you kind of just throw out last week.
I feel like.
I agree.
The Jets only ran 32 plays.
The Bears had more first downs and the Jets had plays run.
He did pick up that weird kind of injury.
He did also just like flat out suck for the entire game.
even before the injury.
And, you know, you're talking about the Browns defense being, you know, pretty good, pretty
underrated.
It is the second lowest over under of the week.
Only 40 points, which is pretty bad.
I think this is, I think this is fine, but there's, there's clearly some startable
pieces here.
Yeah.
I mean, I'm excited about Garrett Wilson.
I think he's awesome.
Kenyon, Sadiq, tight end seven.
Are we there with him?
him already?
Routshire jumped to 67% last week.
He did have that 100-yard game and look awesome two weeks ago.
I think you're right.
I think that's a bit much, but he's still startable, in my opinion.
He got blanked last week, zero catches.
Yeah, but it's tight ends.
I mean, like, tight ends all kind of suck.
Volatile week to week.
All right, well, let's do it then.
Let's bring up the slot machine.
Oh, boy.
All right.
We're saying Kenyon City tight end seven.
All right, Hockinson for sure.
Yes.
Okay.
Easy.
Okay.
That's a good one.
Yeah, that feels like a coin flip to me.
Wow.
Well, and we already know you like Jaseki better than Harold Fanon.
You liked Breton Strange better than Harold Fanon.
So, yeah, do one more, Trey.
I want to get another one like a run.
Yeah, there's a good one.
Yeah, easy time.
All right, and then I'll throw in Isaiah likely Tucker Craft right behind him at tight end.
eight and tight end nine oh yeah prefer those guys to saddique yeah so cadiq's more of like a true
like fringe you know it's tight end 12 tight end 13 kind of guy so cool and then let's go i think
i really like garr wilson this week i think he goes off yeah i agree with you so no a d mitchell
you just throw out last week he ran 17 routes dante meyers ran 53 okay so there's nothing to draw from
last week and he has a great schematic matchup. Cleveland plays man over 50% of the time. Cover one
exactly 50%. No other defense is over a 37% man rate. And Wilson scores about three times as
much per route against man as opposed to zone. Adonai Mitchell is also a mega man beater,
but again, he's out this week, probably. Yeah, and Garrett Wilson's not really playing the
slot anymore at all. He's just primarily an outside guy. Cleveland, that's when
they've been susceptible.
I think they're giving up like over eight yards per target on the outside.
So that's,
that's good.
So all right,
let's,
let's move on.
Wait,
do we talk,
Brin Allen?
Yeah,
yeah,
sorry.
RB1,
94% snap share.
Last week,
67% roundshar.
Isaiah Davis,
like,
didn't play at all.
So,
just on pure volume.
In a game,
the Jets are favorite.
I like that.
Do you,
how much do you like that?
It's a little high.
It's a high-end RB2.
We have James Cook projected behind
Berlin Mountain.
all right that's crazy
shouldn't happen
I apologize that makes us look bad
like you always say
the projections meeting has not occurred yet
so check back in on Friday
things or I should say Saturday morning
things might be a little different
do we need to do the slot machine for Berlin Allen though
I feel like we do because there's a bunch
right in this range like
that's a little loose
easy Alan over Ramonari easy
really if Romandre plays you
Yes.
Because he's a committee back.
Braylon Allen's going to have a 90 plus percent snap share.
Aaron Jones over Braylon Allen, easy.
Chase Brown over Braylon Allen, easy.
Okay.
Braylin Allen over Bejel to.
How close is it, though?
Ashen Gentie over Braylon Allen easy.
Jonathan Taylor, easy.
Judkins versus Allen, the slightest.
This is the one I wanted to get to, by the way.
So I'm glad this came up.
latest edge down. If you like this, let us know if you don't like this and you just want us to get to
the next game. Let's go to the next game. The Indianapolis Colts are traveling to the Pittsburgh
Steelers. The Steelers are favored at home by two and a half. Should be a tight game over under 44 and a
half. This is a battle of which quarterback can look older. Daniel Jones and Aaron Rogers.
Rogers has like a throw a game that amazes me where I'm like, dude, so got it. That arm is live. But then
you just watch him try to move and you're like oh boy get him a cane dude he would rock in
wheelchair football he'd be like the greatest of all time is that actually a thing no it's not no i'm sure
it is yeah there's wheelchair basketball there's not wheelchair football there has to be wheelchair
football why wouldn't there be scott is googling it right now yeah USA wheelchair football no way
wonder what the this looks awesome this looks so like so much fun yeah let us know in the comments
if you want us to start tracking wheelchair football and doing start sit content for that ass content
separation scores for uh yeah all right start on the cold side of the ball we're sitting daniel jones
he's been objectively terrible this year i'm kind of out on josh downs now too i know he's been our boy let's hear
well it i'll just tell you i have no notes on this i i don't know if it's just too depressing
but i have like extensive notes on every team and then the cults were just blank so
Well, yeah, there's, well, I agree.
I dove into the, there's not really any schematic tells.
So we, we've gotten a couple really good matchups for Downs where they're,
they're seeing a ton of too high.
You would expect him to eat.
And then he just doesn't.
It's like, okay, seven for 57 or something.
But Daniel Jones, so typically the deciding factor for me in fantasy on whether I'm
in on a receiver or not is the quarterback.
And I've just seen enough from Daniel Jones.
I'm just like, I think I have to be done with Josh Downs for right now.
And it's possible as the season goes on and Jones gets further and further removed from the Achilles,
the mobility starts to come back.
Maybe this comes around.
I just,
I think it's Tyler Warren and Jonathan Taylor and that's the offense.
Yeah.
This is Ryan's take.
Ryan kind of said it's over,
which really surprised me for a guy who,
yeah, nine targets,
11 targets, last week four targets,
top three and ass.
they're not turning it 70 yards in two of his last three games and and now you're both saying it's over
jones jones has been that bad dude yeah he's what like two receptions seven last year right i know you
a soft job schedule but softer schedule and then the achilles the fractured this was a concern that
jenneler had it was like he worried he wouldn't be able to like fully it's his plant leg something like
that will fully plant and drive the ball. I was like, yeah, but Josh Downs is an underneath guy,
so he could just get peppered. I will say like this, I heard from sources that the Colts were
really befuddled by the lack of chemistry between Daniel Jones and Josh Downs. Like Josh
Downs looks great. He's separating. Daniel Jones looked okay. Just something about the chemistry was
off. So I don't know. I'm still, I think I, so we have a wide receiver 16. Where do you have in
this week, Brett.
Lower than that.
Let me pull up my handy-dandy projections.
So guys, we're projecting behind downs I probably like better.
Christian Watson, Matthew Golden, Zay Flowers.
Why are we solo in Zay Flowers?
Zay Flowers should be a, we'll get there.
We'll get there.
Yeah, Romeo Dobbs, Mike Evans,
Jameson Williams.
I like them all better than Josh Downs.
Yeah, this is too high.
You're right.
Yeah.
I feel like every time.
we pick on Chris, it's because he's too high on somebody. It's never because he's too low on somebody
or rarely. You know what I mean? Do you feel that way? No. No? I feel like we're rarely like,
oh, Chris is way too low on this guy. Once in a while.
It's always my guys and then Chris is right. It's like, we're way too low on Parker,
Washington and Luther Burden and then Chris is right. Oh, man. You did not pick a good week to die
in the Parker Washington Hill. I'm sorry.
But hey, it's going to happen this week early. Okay. You know, no one gets mad at Santa Claus
if he's a week early. Don't get mad at me. Yeah. All right. So we're out on Josh Downs.
Well, I am at least. You're a little more wait and see. I don't know. If it doesn't happen,
like the Steelers are yet another team that play a lot of too high. They're in two high over 50%
of the time. Josh Downs should eat. Scott, he's had more than three catches in one game this
season. Yeah, that's another way to spin it. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, it's,
woof.
What about Lequan Treadwell?
You firing him up?
No.
Last week's matchup in London
was Treadwell versus Treylon Burks.
Just battle of the unathletic
first round busts. Incredible.
We love Taylor though, right?
You're all in on Taylor?
Feel good there?
I don't know about it all in,
but yeah, he's a mid-range R.B1.
Okay, to me, that's pretty all-in.
Okay.
And then Tyler Warren.
We've talked about him inadvertently a couple times in the slot machine stuff, but you like Tyler Warren?
He's fine.
He's just the ball has to go somewhere, right?
And so even if it.
This is why you have to be out on downs because you're so apathetic to this offense right now.
You don't even hear your own tone of voice.
And it's because of Daniel Jones.
And it's not going to get better.
I talked about the offensive line issues they were having last week.
You parlay that with Daniel Jones, who can't hit the broad side of a bar.
and he can't move off his spot.
You can't scramble.
They can't run rollouts.
They can't run play action.
It's,
bro, it's a freaking mess.
Chris Ballard's going to get fired.
Shane Steichen's going to get fired.
This whole thing's a disaster.
I know they're two and two,
but they look way worse than a two and two team.
So.
All right.
Other side.
They need Jonathan Taylor to bail him out
with like multiple 50 plus yard touchdown runs this week,
it seems like.
Yeah.
And every week, perhaps.
And every week, yeah.
And when they were winning games last year,
ironically that's what Jonathan Taylor was doing.
Historic pace through like the first eight, nine games and then just nothing.
Nothing.
Yeah, what's Philip Rivers up to?
I'm guessing fathering kids or grandkids.
Pittsburgh.
Aaron Rogers, sitting him, we're listening to him QB14.
It's pretty high for him, though.
It is.
Is Rico Dattle still out?
We're projecting him out.
Okay.
So that makes, well, you've got to be pretty bullish on Jalen Warren.
Then that's your dude.
He's top three in our projections.
He had a 97% snap share in week four.
He's top five and all the efficiency stuff.
Yeah, I like that.
I mean, maybe that's a little high, but like still,
it's an insane role for a guy who's always been hyper-efficient.
Yeah.
So I think this is really interesting, Brett,
is, um, so D.K. Mekka finally had a good game.
Much to my surprise and chagrin, he's top 10 in separation win rate.
He's wide receiver 21 and XFP.
And we have him as a low end wide receiver one.
I, we talked about Roman Wilson.
We talked about him on the waiver wire episode as a potential ad.
And so he's wide receiver 51 in the projections.
And here's the argument in favor of him.
He's their slot, right?
91% of his yards have come from the slot.
The Colts give up the most yards per the game to the slot.
Wilson has 17 slot targets.
Fryermuth is 10.
No one else in the team is more than three.
He's separating at an unbelievable level.
He has three of Pittsburgh's four best average separation score weeks.
He has 60 plus yards and a touchdown in back-to-back weeks with a 4.0 yards per route run over that span.
Michael Pittman, Jeremy Bernard are both under one.
We talked about the Mike McCarthy slot role.
It's a man-heavy matchup.
Romans the man-beater by far.
But he has just a 34% snapshot
the last two weeks.
That's behind both tight ends.
It's behind D.K. Metcalfe, Michael Pittman, Jeremy Bernard.
It's the wide receiver four on a team
that plays a bunch of 12 personnel.
how the heck does that happen he's like that's gonna change he started off full time and now he's
barely playing but he is their most productive receiver did he get dinged up or something
i don't think so it's confusing it's got to change there's no way a coach is going to sit back
and be like oh got to make sure our most productive receiver is running the fourth most routes
and again this is a great matchup for him the colts give up the most yards per per game to the
slot. That's him. Yeah. Colts also stink against the run for what it's worth. Jalen Jalen
Warren should eat. Absolutely. I know we already talked about him, but I just double checked.
Well, the other side of the coin is, okay, so let's say Roman Wilson is back to a 30%
snap share. Pat Friermuth is in the slot a lot. He also, like his fantasy point per game
average doubles against Lou Anerumo. To be fair, that might just be the Bengals.
being bad against tight ends,
but it was an interesting note I had,
nine career games against him.
Yeah.
Michael Pittman, if you called me on the phone
and were like, hey, I got this crazy conspiracy theory for you.
Just, you know, just hear me out.
Michael Pittman and Aaron Rogers switched bodies.
I'd be like, I think you're right.
I think that's true.
Have you watched this guy run routes?
What happened to him, man?
I don't know.
He looks like darnall Washington.
Oh.
instead of the most freak athlete ever just
dude it's there's literally no acceleration whatsoever
and cutting and turning he looks like a semi truck it's
does he have like chronic back issues or something i know he had a back
injury last year but it's it looks rough you see why the colts so gladly moved off of it
for like a fifth round pick or whatever oh man but all right it's kind of a gross
game. I do like Jalen Warren.
Is D.K. Metcalf a little high at wide receiver 10?
Yeah, I think so. I think one of these, I think Roman either goes off or Pat goes off.
Yeah.
If Mike McCarthy's smart, he just, Roman Wilson has an 80% route share and he just feasts in a
slot. Yeah. I understand why they're playing 12 at the rate they are, right?
Darnal Woshen's kind of like a unicorn type player.
but man, Roman should be one of their top two guys, I think,
with what I see from Michael Pittman.
Yeah.
All right, last game of the show,
the Houston Texans are traveling to face the Tennessee Titans.
And you had a hilarious,
is either a message in our Discord or a tweet about this.
The Tennessee Titans are so bad
that the O and four Texans are favored to beat them
on the road by seven and a half points
in a game that has an over under of 30.
Yeah, what is sour note we're ending this episode on?
We're talking to the Colts and now this week is disgusting in general, Scott.
Like it's gross, it's gross.
Yeah, I was talking to East and Freeze too.
He said he did all the research.
This is the Texans 7.5 point road underdogs is an 014.
It's the only time that's ever happened in the Super Bowl era.
and the craziest thing about it is like it's not like the titans are on their third string quarterback
here everyone's healthy they just suck oh boy like they're probably only five point favorites if
Mitch tribisky's starting yeah right oh my gosh so this is the lowest over under the slate
by a lot someone tweeted out flex it to the weather channel the weather channel on Twitter
responded. We don't want it. Yeah, we don't want it. And it's bad. And it's like, dude, start
Carnal Tate, start Nuka Collins. I think you sit everyone else. We have David Montgomery,
RB 23, what he marks RB 35? I don't know why when it's like a 50-50 drive-by-drive
split. They seem to be slightly pass heavier when Marx was on the field. Is that true? Or those drives
aren't going as far because like Montgomery
is still out touching him despite
the 50-50 split. You think that's just
Fluky-Her. Yeah, but not inside the red zone where it matters.
Oh, God.
It's just, it's just, it's just so bad.
Scott, they gave up a fourth round
pick and the number one
graded center via PFF,
juice grugs for David Montgomery.
Right. So you guys,
folks at home are mad at me for what might be
my worst call ever. At least I didn't, you know,
give up that. Yeah, that's so much worse.
On a team that,
That's desperate for O-Line talent, too.
Exactly.
They gave up Joe Scruggs and a fourth round pick for a running back who's 29,
who makes a lot of money, who they had to extend.
Oh, man, what a disaster.
And I love, I love Dimo.
Maybe the Lions can trade for him back.
We'll give you a seventh for him now.
Thank you.
Oh, man.
Yeah.
And, all right, let's talk Cornell Tate.
I actually really like what I've seen from him.
And the Texans defense has been shockingly bad.
I think that's the part that's confusing everyone
is they're giving up passing yards like crazy
and they're getting destroyed on these end cutters.
I've been saying it since week one.
It showed up in week one and it has not fixed itself.
C.D. Lamb literally just carved them up.
He put Jalen Petrie in a blender.
Kamari Lasseter got crushed.
Oh God, I just saw a tweet.
Michael Pittman's seen using scooter to wheel around
with foot propped up in the locker room on Wednesday.
Yeah, that's looked like.
That looked like how he was running routes last week.
On a scooter.
With his foot propped up running a curl route.
That's too good.
Yeah.
Someone who's good at drawing.
Can you please like start drawing our analogies?
That would be sick to see.
I just ask AI to do it.
That makes sense, by the way, that he's injured.
Yeah.
No, he has to be like really badly injured.
Yeah.
Well, he's a dude that will play through anything too.
And that's actually hurt him because he plays poorly when he's injured.
But yeah, anyways, I was saying, I like,
I think it's a good matchup to Texans can't stop anybody on these imp breakers.
That's what Tarnel Tarnel, I was going to say Tarnel Kate.
Oh, I did this yesterday.
Tarnel Kate.
That's where he's winning a lot.
Do you have long COVID after your fake sickness?
I might, bro.
What is wrong with me?
It's bad.
I didn't do my vocal warm up today.
Maybe that's it.
That has to be it.
Yeah.
Everyone loves your vocal warm up.
No, not that one.
I actually have one like a couple tongue twisters.
I rip out there to make sure my speech is good.
my brain's clicking but Tony Pollard sitting in well I wasn't done with Carnell Tate
oh I'm sorry Colonel Tate 26% first read target share it's the most by a rookie wide receiver
in fantasy points data history he's he's sixth overall so that's like really good volume and usage
and utilization you just have to counterbalance it with the fact that
uh cam ward ranks 38th of 40 um quarterbacks an accurate throw rate um like you said this used to be a
great texans defense they kind of suck now they're giving up the third most passing yards per game
they're giving up the most fantasy points per game to outside wide receivers that looks really good
for carnell tate derrick stingley could shadow but he's he's been kind of stinky this year um
the stat i had i tried to pull it up like but so this is off of memory was um um um
He's giving up, given up, he gave up more than 65 yards zero times all of last year.
This year he's, he's done that four times to four different receivers.
So, yeah, maybe we don't have to sweat a shadow.
And, yeah, low-end wide receiver, too, Cornell tape.
All right.
Tony Pollard, elite utilization was a bell cow.
Houston is tough against running back six fewest fantasy points per game.
And, you know, the elite utilization hasn't mattered.
He's been the least efficient running back in football by fantasy points over expectation.
But still, I think that checks in as a fringe RB2 borderline flex play.
Word.
Wondell Robinson sitting in.
You hate you, you hate one.
I hate that.
I hate him.
I hate them.
What two quarterbacks are we projecting higher than Cam Ward, I wonder?
there's two buys this week oh you're right dang yeah dead last dang it oh that'd have been funny
to uncover but all right that's gonna do it for us that's part one of our start sit series make sure
you come back tomorrow for part two and also trust me bro a cooking segment with my hey i'm
gonna teach you guys how to cook the ultimate steak and guess what i'm gonna make it practical for you
too so this isn't like you need to be some well hold on what what kind of steak are we talking about
Are we talking about a rib eye?
I'm going to break all that down.
I'm going to break down my favorite cuts of meat.
We're going to do a beyond meat cut of steak, right?
No, no, we're not.
No?
No.
You're not a fan of beyond meat?
No, I'm a fan of beef.
I'm a fan of red meat.
I'm a fan of power and protein and strength and, you know, muscle.
So, yeah, anyways.
All right.
Today's episode brought to you by the beef lobby.
That's a lobby I can get behind.
We need more American ranchers lobbying in D.C.
You know?
Can we get that?
National Cattleman's Beef Association of America.
Give us a call.
There we go.
Yeah.
There we go.
All right, that's going to do it for us today.
Thank you so much for listening.
Be sure to leave your start, sit questions in the comments, and somebody will bless you with an answer.
All right.
We're out.
Thank you for listening.
