Hey, Scott, my V's and plays this week on John's show, 7-0.
Wow. So you save all your good takes for John's show?
Yeah, another week of me take-mogging you pretty hard, so sorry about that.
Look at that.
Another day of me hair-mogging you.
I have a better beard, though.
Yeah, yours looks like you could check into a homeless facility in Austin, Texas.
You guys had a bet for on this week, right?
What was the action there?
Scott, Scott won the bet.
Okay.
Well, we'll work that up.
Oh, really?
Interesting.
Scott won the bet.
That was the bet, right, tied-in-one for Loveland?
he actually underperformed his Titan 19 projection
which I was mad about
is he the new Kyle Pitts
Hold on hold that cup up you just had in front of the camera
Is that a Stanley?
It's a hydro jug
That's what it says okay all right
You're lucky
Shout out hydro jug
Because if that was a Stanley
If you were rocking that very feminine brand
I would have drove to Austin and beat you over the head with that thing
I'm so masculine
I don't even know which brands are feminine
or masculine.
Yeah, right.
So how about that?
Week 5 recap here on Fantasy Football Daily on the Fantasy Points YouTube channel.

Scott, how are you, dude?
I'm doing good.
Happy to be here, excited.
Another fun Sunday.
A lot of Tennessee points were scored by good players that I like,
so that was encouraging.
Yeah, we had a good day.
You know, if you go back to the start, sit shows,
our projections were good this week.
Great day. It's a great day.
Great day of football, a lot of fun.
The early slate that I thought would suck, Scott,
I actually ended up being okay.
there's there's some nice games in there we got some nice games out of that so but anyways we're
going to take you game by game we're going to get you all the relevant information takes we're
going to lay them all on the table let's start with the game of the week the game of the week
which we have sponsored by Mercedes-Benz oh if you need a car to drive why not Mercedes-Benz
because they're made in Germany drive drive Mercedes-Benz yeah yeah Mercedes-Benz is fine but like they're
German. They're like expensive to fix. I wouldn't know. We need a new sponsor. Trey,
that's on you. All right. Does that mean I have to return my Mercedes vans? Yes. It does.
All right, Lions Cardinals. I love the, the only note we have on this game because there's a lot
to talk about in the show shoot is just Gibbs is O.P. You just want to start there. Jamir Gibbs,
freak show. Brah, bra. Jamir Gibbs is so dang, O.P. Overpowered. And that was,
was like the take we we had kind of all off season yeah i had this tweet where it was like you know
we spend all all summer you know having these debates like luther burden versus colston lovelin
guess what they both suck all that and at the end of the day all that mattered was whether or not
you got the 101 because what an advantage having the 101 is right now it's really like the top
three teams should be the the gibbs team the bejean team the jSN team and then uh all
else being equal to beat the Gibbs team being a little better than the others.
Yeah, man, it's just he's he's going he's going crazy.
He's averaging 30 fantasy points a game right now over 30.
Right. And no one else is coming close to that. And that's what we talk about with power law
players dating back to because that was that one of the stats I had was coming into the year.
It was like in games without David Montgomery, a fairly robust sample. He averages like 28.9 fantasy points
per game and like the exact same thing has carried over 25 carries six targets over 200 yards from
scrimmage multiple touchdowns the lions offense rolling five total touchdowns and of course
gibbs the focal point inside the red zone heavily involved on the ground and through the air by
the way this was supposed to be a tough matchup on paper uh and yeah dude he's he's just a freak he's awesome
Do you know the craziest part, Scott?
What's that?
He's left some meat on the bone, actually.
You know, it's funny.
As I've watched, I kind of, I mean, as I've looked into the spreadsheets,
I've kind of come to the same conclusion.
Yeah, well, he's got like a dropped, I think week two or three,
he dropped the touchdown.
So that's six more points plus a catch, seven more points.
He, they're so close to breaking some of these runs for like 70, 80 yards.
And he's getting shoestringed at the last, like,
last guy kind of thing. It's like he's going to break a couple of those at some point this
season, right? He's not going to go the whole season. Like I think his longest run this year is like
23 yards or something and he's still dominated. Like he's so close on some of them to just
absolutely bust and loose and he just hasn't yet. And so like the legit like he's scoring plus 30 a game
right now. It could end the season at like 32. Yeah. That's the crazy thing. And I think it's the most
fancy points per game since 0.2.
priest homes in 2002
I mean that's insane
there's some untapped potential as a past catcher
like I think he is a little bit more
CMC in him than we've seen
so you know what's interesting because I think I
DM'd you during the game but just said
basically like my take with you has always been
Gibbs has like no feel in the past game
that was that was one thing Monty had
like he was an elite checkdown guy
but it was just his feel his ability to
know when to release no when to set up
where Gibbs is so much more
more of just a mismatch guy. He doesn't have a great feel as a checkdown, dude, but they could,
to your point, they could scheme him up more and get him. It was like they did, uh, was it last
week. He had three or four receptions as a wide receiver. They didn't do any of that this week,
but they did get him involved in the screen game. It's, I agree. Like, he has potential to be a legit
mismatch weapon. It's just like, how often do they need him to be that? You know, they scored 45 points
today. So it's like, but. Right. Exactly. Yeah. Yeah. Fun, fun game though. I mean, uh,
you know, J-mo.
I love.
I hadn't thought about it, like, heading into the game,
but it was also a Drew Petsig revenge game.
Yeah.
And he was so in his bag that one play where it was like an end around,
then the lateral,
and then back to the quarterback,
and put it back to the run.
Yeah.
It was a Philly special screen, basically, is what it ended up being.
Okay, okay.
So instead of a forward pass to golf,
it was like a pitch back to golf,
and then he throws a screen across the field.
Yeah, Petsing was absolutely in his bag.
The schemed up Sam Laporta touchdown.
Did you see that?
Yeah, that was really nice.
Sick play design.
Just disgusting.
Bro, he was so in his bag.
He actually got James and Williams a few make a wish touchdowns.
His only two catches of the game, of course.
But, you know, we had to make him feel good.
I just love that since the moment you decided you hated Jameson Williams on this podcast.
He's had two fantastic weeks in a row.
Keep pumping those gums.
It's good for my lions.
Keep up with those guns.
He had two catch it.
Hey, actually, here's a hot take,
or it's just like really like a question.
Is Amon Ross St. Brown in a little slump?
Because if you throw out the Bills game,
he's averaging just 5.2 yards per target this year.
Yeah, you want to know what it coincides with?
What's that?
Amon Ross St. Brown and his brother, Equanimius,
had Jared Gough on the podcast.
Oh.
And the entire episode,
Amunrah was hostily, he's very hostile towards Jared in his behaviors.
I don't even know what it was.
If it's not a word, it should be.
I made up a word, I think.
But he was very hostile towards Jared.
And he was trying to be kind of like we are adversarial.
But I don't think Jared took too kindly of it.
On the show in public, Amunra called them out for never sitting with his teammates in the cafeteria.
Oh, wow.
And basically only either sitting by himself or only sitting.
with coaches. No breakfast club like with Matthew Stafford and the boys. Right. So like I it's
since that moment Jared just stopped throwing the ball on Amunrah. It's like all Jamo on LaPorta and Gibbs now.
So it's I don't know something to that man. Yeah. Interesting. Well, I mean he's had double digit
targets in four or five games. So I I don't it's more like there the connection's not there.
And maybe that's what it is.
Maybe it like the chemistry flows out from how they're feeling about each other.
And so it's like a subconscious like Carl Young would is like they need to remedy this,
this friendship.
And then he'll go back to like nine yards per target.
Yep.
I agree.
That's that's as soon as someone will like remind Jared that that happened and that he'll be like,
oh shoot, now I got to overcompensate because I don't want raw to think I'm mad at him.
You know?
So.
But any other note.
in this game on the Detroit side.
I mean, Sam Laporte is having a fantastic year, right?
Yeah, well, the stat I have was he averaged like 25 routes run per game last year.
And then this year, it's like 38.
And so he's basically now playing five and a half quarters per game to last year's four quarters.
He's just playing more games than all other tight ends are playing games.
So that's a huge advantage even if, you know, Jared Gough wasn't rolling to the degree that he was
or Sam Leporta wasn't looking as good as he has.
But yeah, he's, I don't know, top three, top four, tight end moving forward fairly easily for me.
It's crazy what health can do for guys.
When guys, like, he had a career-threatening injury last year.
People don't realize that.
Like his back and neck was that, there was that severe of an injury.
And now he's healthy.
So it's like, oh, yeah, we forget, San Leporto was awesome.
You know, we weren't really hyping him up in the off season, but we probably should have been with the clean bill of health.
So he's going to get absolutely paid.
I know that.
Yeah.
All right.
On the Cardinal side, a little bit of a disappointing week from our guy, Michael Wilson.
Right.
You know, the week after everyone tried to buy low on him, he kind of flopped to four catches, 30 yards.
The team's leading receiver was Kendrick Bourne.
Shout out to Ryan.
You forgot to say it at the top of the show.
Ryan is out sick.
He couldn't make it.
I'm sorry.
Apologies to our listeners.
I know it feels like you can't trust anyone.
You know, your guy, Brett's going to let you down.
Play sick.
Ryan's going to let you down.
He's going to, but Scott's always here.
Don't worry.
I'm not going anywhere.
I'll be here every week.
No matter how sick.
No matter what the weather's like, you could count on me.
Not these fair weather co-hosts.
Even if you're going to show up wearing those ridiculous glasses
and your Paw Patrol beard, you're here at least.
So hey, woo.
But Ryan, even before the Marvin Harrison Jr. trade,
Ryan called Kendrick Bourne going off in this spot.
he was the team's leading receiver.
It was a really good schematic matchup.
Yeah, Michael Wilson, not the most productive day,
but I mean, like stock certainly on the rise,
Marvin Harrison Jr. being traded, shipped off to Houston.
And, yeah, it was Trey McBride, 10 targets,
nine catches, 66 yards, and touchdown.
It really kind of seems like he has a floor of, I don't know,
16.5 fantasy points, even in a down game.
Did you hear Dan Campbell's presser by chance after the game?
No.
he basically said like publicly like their whole goal was to stop what wilson and nick bride so if we could just slow those guys down we knew we could have a good day on defense oh wow yeah so they played a ton of man today i know the lines have really they've gone away from man only like 18% on the year
roll zone heavy team all of a sudden and then they went back to the roots today played a ton of man but dan said specifically it was to try to take wilson out of the game and slow down macbred so
Six job job well done. McBride ends up still having a pretty good day, right? Nine reception,
66 yards and a touchdown. But maybe you were hoping for a little more just because it was
supposed to be that shootout. I think just in general, the Cardinals offense was disappointing today.
Right. So that was going to be my question for you is, you know, Jacoby Brissette, 292 passing yards,
three touchdowns on paper, but it took him 47 pass attempts. He had an interception, five sacks,
a lot of garbage time. Yeah, all fourth quarter crap really is what it was.
Right. And it's against like a defense that we singled out beforehand as like they're awful. And so like I wonder if he's on pumpkin watch. See, is he dangerously close to turning back into a pumpkin? I mean, certainly in this game, Drew Petsick looked like the better offensive play caller. And then as an extension of that or downstream from that, do we have to worry about Tray McBride as a cell high? Because we all know Jacobi Brisset target.
its tight ends, the highest rate in the league.
That's been true every year of his career dating back to college.
And if they yank him out of the picture, they shove Carson Beck in before he's ready,
it can be gross.
It could just be a way less effective offense, you know, maybe a lot fewer targets to
trade McBride than he's been accustomed to where, like, with Preset is like 10 or more every
single week.
That's a great question because, like, I,
I don't think Jacoby played necessarily bad today.
The Lions played way above their gourd.
Like the expectation of what we thought this Lions defense would be today,
they played way above that.
The coverage was tight.
Roger McCreary set a Lions record for most past deflections in a single game.
He had six PbUs today.
Oh.
That's twice as much as Cortland Sutton.
That's a great.
That's a great poll, by the way.
Yeah, I mean, that's just like we were expecting to be able to pick on Roger McCurry, right?
But no, the dude had six PbU today.
None of that was really Jacoby's fault.
Just contested, you know, contested targets, a lot of tight coverage out there.
So.
Well, if it is a case of, you know, okay, the line just played really well.
It's not that Jacoby played poorly.
Then, yeah, we still should remain bullish, at least in the short term over the next four weeks or so because 47 pass attempts.
Like that's awesome.
And that was the bet we were making when we were telling you to trade for Michael Wilson
is a ton of play volume in this offense.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure he's going over 40 dropbacks in four or five games this year.
Yeah, yeah.
And again, it was still very condensed.
It was 17 combined targets for Tray McBride and Michael Wilson in a game.
You said they were selling out to stop those two guys.
Yeah, exactly.
Definitely, I mean, if they keep losing, you know, who knows,
maybe they end up wanting to get a look at the rookie.
But for now, I think we're okay.
For now, I think we're okay.
All right, should we move on?
Let's do it.
Eagles Jaguars.
This was one of the more insane games on TV.
It stinks that we only got 36 points of offense
because the game was pretty entertaining.
It was very sloppy on both sides.
A little frustrating to watch as like a true football like snob, right?
I was kind of like, ugh, is gross.
But some very fun moments.
Let's start on the Eagle side of the ball.
uh,
Darius Cooper continues to make plays,
but he's like,
are we at a place where he's fantasy relevant at all?
Or is this just a blip on the radar?
Uh,
no,
no,
I don't think so,
uh,
especially not with,
uh,
Devontas Smith coming back.
He,
he averages 2.5 catches per game the last two weeks,
but 16.7 fantasy points per game.
Um,
you know,
maybe like a dynasty stash,
but I really don't think there's too much more.
Like,
like,
look at the target breakdown.
It was Dallas Goddard 9.
dontavian wicks eight mcky lemon who stinks with seven damien pierce are five and then darius cooper all the way down
at three um i i think the go ahead i was going to ask so like when when devonte comes back we know he in
the past has been able to play some slot darius cooper has been exponentially more efficient than mkeye
lemon dontavian wicks is clearly very good the i'm going to ask you should they play cooper over lemon
And is that something maybe that happens?
Is he a slot?
He's played both, but Smithy's played both too.
Right.
Actually, like, a weird thing about Devante is, like, he's one of the guys who's, like,
way more efficient on the outside for some reason than in the slot, but, which is weird,
given his issues with press coverage.
But, well, you know my comp for Mackay Lemon?
Ola Meade Zechius.
That was yours.
Yeah, I know.
What is it?
Mine was a slower Elijah.
Yeah, right, that's right.
You know who's on this team?
Elijah Moore.
Let's see what happens.
Just play Kate me, just give me one week of Elijah Moore in the slot.
I promise you it's going to be better.
Yeah, I think that's fair.
I think they whiffed on McKinlin.
You and I both said that when it happened.
The Steelers did the, the Eagles did the Steelers a favor,
is what I meant.
But I think the Berry
lead here is one man the eagles they've just blown back to back games where they had a win
probability over 97 percent yeah that's it's only been done like one other time in the past like
four decades uh so i i don't expect the head coach to make it i don't know i don't mean i don't
expect him to make it past the week honestly nick syriani you think he's getting fired i think he should
Vic Fangio is like a top three coordinator and has head coach experience.
And what exactly does Nick Siriani do around here, except for like bark at opposing fans, you know?
Do you think he just got completely lucky with the Super Bowl they won?
Like they had nothing to do with Siri.
It was all Kellynne Moore, Vic Fangio and Howard Rosen.
The other one was Shane Steichen.
They had elite coordinators, the best offensive line in football by a landslide, which is like the most important thing.
elite pass catchers, an elite defense.
Yeah.
You know what?
It wouldn't be the first time the Eagles have moved on from a Super Bowl winning head coach that fast.
Doug Peterson got fired a mere couple years after his Super Bowl win, right?
So it does happen.
And what's weird, too, is the relationship with Carson Wentz at that time was souring quickly.
You get the same vibes of Jalen Hertz, where it's like Super Bowl winning quarterback guys,
yet we might not be convinced he's the quarterback of the future.
So I don't know.
There's a lot of weird going on in Philly.
Yeah.
And you just had Lane Johnson retire.
They just traded away their center.
It's just, yeah, it's like dumpster fire season.
It's not good.
And the offense can't like, yeah, when your most productive fantasy player,
over and above Jalen Hertz, who by the way, had only two carries in this game,
he stopped running.
He hasn't run in years.
Was Darius Cooper, what are we doing?
Yeah, this is like a dead offense.
Like, Sequin Barclay, I think, is not going to do Jack when he comes back
or is like a colossal bust at the cost.
Hertz can't run, bro.
Why not?
You watch this guy?
Yeah, what happened to him?
He looks like he's running in mud or quicksand.
What happened?
I thought he could squat 800 pounds.
I think he did one too many 800 pounds squats.
He's a little too clunky down low, you know what I mean?
Maybe.
It's crazy.
He has like zero juice left.
All right.
So yeah, I think the head coach could get fired.
I think we could see Mike Renner's boy, Tanner McKee.
Mm.
And maybe week nine.
Maybe week nine, we see J.J. McCarthy.
We see Tanner McKee.
We see.
Okay.
Let's go.
Carson Beck.
We see all these guys.
You love to see it.
Dantavian Wicks still looks good to me.
Looks like their best receiver.
He's awesome.
He looks really good.
And that's what we've always said.
But the dude is like really unlucky.
He hurts just barely missed him.
So he had five catches for 63 yards and zero touchdowns.
He should have had six catches, 123 yards and one touchdown.
Hertz just barely missed him on this deep ball where he had a nice double move.
Yeah, maybe more than that.
Hertz airmailed him on a couple other throws, I believe, as well.
Yeah.
Well, he's the ask God, right?
He gets open and he's getting open.
It's just not connecting.
Yeah, Hertz completed like 50% of his passes today on like 40-something dropout.
Not great. Not great.
Yeah.

On the Jaguar side, we want to talk about your boy, Mr. Exodia.
That's right.
That's exactly right.
I want to talk about my boy, Parker Washington, the Exodia.
He wins the performance of the week.
Performance of the week, sponsored by SpaceX.
Want to go to Mars?
Do you buy whatever SpaceX sells?
I don't actually know what these are.
they sell anything uh shout out to shout out to joey who uh developed ball knowledge our a i he he he's
working at space x these days um yeah so uh yeah parker washington this is what i said hey i we have a new
saturday show school scott episode i go solo brett no no brett whitefield i do these players
are going to explode these players you want to play in dfs you want a ladder bet
and I said Parker Washington, doubling down, this is the week.
And what a week it was.
He had two catches, two spectacular catches, beautiful, remarkable catches.
First one was a 51-yarder with a ton of yak.
The other one was this insanely impressive contested catch inside the end zone.
It looked like Jerry Rice.
And that might not have even been his most impressive end zone catch this year.
dude is so talented he needs a new contract ASAP he needs the ball more um and yeah it seemed like the
text you were sending me Brett you said you said Liam Cohen might have lost his magic you said
he he had to get balled out bailed out by uh Jerry ricington Parker Washington here uh what what happened
it's a couple weeks in a row now but first of all I
got a comment that that 51 yard catch and run by parker washington one of the most ridiculous
plays of the season so far just insane twitch well you want to know the funny the funny thing
uh of 92 qualifying wide receivers coming into the the week the two worst in yards after the catch
per reception were jameson williams and parker washington we're both like 80th percentile or
better guys last year so uh i said that on my show i'm like you know major regression
to the mean coming and bang that happened that happened really quick for one guy who's awesome
not so much for the other guy who sucks zero zero yak in this game for jameson williams but a lot
for for pee wash the goat anyways thank you for that detour yeah uh so the thing with
leum cohen i just i feel like he's trying to get a little too cute he keeps doing this pony
package thing what's a pony package brett it's it's basically 21 personnel but instead of a full back
you have two running backs on the field.
Right.
So they'd come out with like Chris Rodriguez at wide receiver and basal tootin.
Why would you ever put Chris Rodriguez at why?
It's just a disguise, right?
They come out and pony and then you're going to shift the formation,
see how the defense reacts.
Ideally you get a mismatch opportunity.
But then like you run a jet sweep to basal tutin out of that.
And Chris Rodriguez is left block is the primary blocking on the edge.
It's like it's a little too much.
And then they're doing, they have a pony with La Quint Allen on the field and
Lequint Allen's playing slot.
It's like, why?
You have Parker Washington and Jacoby Myers and Josh Cameron and Bret
and BTJ.
Who do you don't even use?
Right.
But like, so why do you have to put liquid Allen at the slot?
Right.
Like, is that a better mismatch?
No.
He's a great pass catching running back, but that doesn't, I don't know.
And then they were doing all this.
They'd bring, you know, Lequit Allen as the solo back.
And then they'd motion him out.
into the slot and they'd go empty from it.
So it's you were they were just doing too much and down in the red zone I thought the
play clawing was egregious.
I'm so many bad.
Which is weird because that's that's usually where Liam Cohen shined over the years.
I was praising him like after week two is like I think he might be the new the best.
Yeah.
He's so I think he might be overtaking Ben Johnson.
Well, I was wrong.
Liam Cohen is not overtaking Ben Johnson.
Not yet.
So so Ryan's not here.
Prayer's up for Ryan.
Hope you feels better soon.
Yeah.
I'll take this victory lap for him.
Bejel Tootin, elite utilization in this game, trending massively up.
He didn't score very many fantasy points.
In a PPR league, he scored, what is it?
Sorry.
Let me take this victory lap for Ryan.
He didn't score many fantasy points, but.
He scored 10.6 fantasy points.
But hey, this is fantasy football.
if you want a PhD in fantasy football, you come to the Fantasy Points YouTube channel.
And so we look at the game on a higher level.
And it's not the production.
We don't box course scout.
It's the utilization.
He had 22 of 24 carries and three of six targets out of the backfield.
And he's been trending up every single week.
Here it is by backfield XFP, 59% week one to 60% in week two.
62% in week 3, 77% week 4.
And then this past week, 84%.
And so all he did here was just to extend another week to buy low
because the production wasn't there.
They still pulled them out on the freaking one yard line.
Did they?
And they put in Chris Rodriguez to run that wildcat quarterback thing they do with Rodriguez.
Yeah.
And it got blown dead for a false start.
And then they pulled Rodriguez out and then they threw the ball.
to BTJ that got blown dead because of an offensive pass interference.
And then it's a good memory.
That's my note under this, like, is to double check his snapshot here inside the 10,
because that's the one number that hasn't been great.
So when Data Suite 2.0 is up Monday morning, I'll take a look at that.
Yeah, I, this game, I know you're excited about the usage.
This game did not help my, my issues with Bachel Tutin.
For one, I didn't think he looked, I didn't think he looked very good for two.
The problem is...
So go ahead.
The problem is the other guys are averaging like 2.2 yards per carry.
Yeah.
Well, that's true.
That's fair.
So I didn't think he looked good, but also the opportunity was there and he did absolutely nothing with it.
So I'm like, man, that doesn't make me like him anymore.
I'm like, yeah, well, see, they gave him the opportunity and he stunk.
So maybe they shouldn't give him the opportunity again.
See, I take it the other way.
So like, he's been at, what, 4.5 yards.
per carry or better in every single week, way above Chris Rodriguez and everyone else. He averaged
only 3.3 yards per carry this week, but he stuck with him. They gave him 22 of 24 backfield
carries. That's, to me, a sign that he's earned a ton of trust where maybe it didn't look
great in this game, but in practice over the past few weeks and in the summer or training camp,
I'm pretty bullish. I was a skeptic coming in, and now I'm totally on Ryan's side.
Okay.
I can live with it.
And Josh Cameron, by the way, twice as many targets as BTJ in this game.
Yeah, I think BTJ had two targets that came back on no plays, by the way.
So he should have been at like five.
Anyways.
Josh Camer was definitely playing more than BTJ.
No question.
In fact, they brought BTJ on the field for obvious run downs a couple of time.
Like, go run block.
It's just like so ridiculous to me.
I think they might be testing to see how bought in he is.
Like, yeah.
Hey, your role right now is you got to be an elite run block.
You're Isaac Tesla.
Go handle it.
That's not great.
That's really not great.
I think maybe he gets traded.
Yeah, if Parker watched, I mean, sorry,
Marvin Harrison Jr. goes for a second round pick.
What is VTJ for?
That's the next game we're going to do.
Do you just want to go there right now?
Yeah, let's do it.
Texans Titans.
So that's the biggest thing that happened in this game that didn't happen.
Or like it wasn't part of the game.
Marvin Harrison Jr.
gets traded to the Houston Texans for a second round pick and a six round pick I think they had to kick a
seven back to but anyways I actually think this is a great trade for for the Texans do you yeah
okay let's hear it second round pick for a dude with elite world-class talent that was completely
mishandled in arizona world class talent he was the fourth overall picks guy yes don't don't
play dumb don't don't yeah because it because of who is daddy is
is. That's not why he went forward.
He didn't really earn that top five pick? Yeah, he did.
Over Malik neighbors? I don't think so. Yeah, he did.
He did. He did. I stand by it. He did.
Okay. Then what's, what's happened to him these last two years?
Well, the Cardinals ballooned him up to 230 pounds.
The Cardinals did that?
Well, that's, that's, if you follow the breadcrumbs, yeah, that's the word on the street.
Yeah. They wanted him, they didn't like that he was 205 pounds and an, and an ex
receiver. So they wanted to beef him up.
And it's, it's obviously, like, he looks stiff as a,
board. He's got no lateral quickness whatsoever. And I could argue his linear explosiveness is
bad too now. But I think this is a great rehab project to go play with this college QB and
C.J. Stroud. And yeah, I think this is a great buy low in the real world for Marvin Harrison
Jr. I'm excited for it. It might not do any, it might not amount to anything this year,
right? It's pretty hard for a receiver to like learn a whole new playbook, especially Ponzi scheme,
Kaylee playbook mid-season, but I think it's a really nice, savvy move for the franchise,
known as Houston.
If he's available on waivers, are you picking him up?
Yeah, it depends.
It totally depends.
I drafted well in most of my league, so I don't have like a dead spot.
You know what I mean?
But if I had a dead spot, yeah.
Yeah.
If Marvin Harrison, like, what's his ceiling to you?
Give me a player come.
To me, it's like Cortland Sutton.
like long term or short term it could be an upside comp long term
upside comp long term he's slightly more explosive t higgins
okay yeah i think that's fair i you know what i i can't get mad at that i think that's i think
that's fair sweet the odds are vastly against him living into that but but perhaps perhaps
perhaps he was just totally miscast perhaps he stopped carrying i think you said that and you know
kind of everything aligns like he's just devante adams when he was with the raiders begging for
a trade to the jets where he's just like barely running these routes literally taking himself
out of games like and then all of a sudden he's awesome again and apparently there were there
were things where like from day one he knew arizona wasn't for him so who knows
Yeah. Let's talk about the actual game now. On the Texan side, David Montgomery leaves, do you leave in the first quarter or second quarter?
I believe it was the first quarter. It looks like he's going to be out several weeks. So expect a bell cow utilization from what he marks for at least another week.
Do you as a guy who named David Montgomery in Exodia, do you feel like this helps you get off the hook a little bit or is it actually make you mad?
Because it's like, oh, this is, no, this is infuriating.
It's like, this was the get right spot.
This was like 26 to 3 beat down in the worst team in football.
And like he immediately gets hurt.
He sucks.
And I had to watch Woody Marks run into the back of his offensive linemen two or three times.
I know.
I know.
And like you could have started him.
Like I'm sure I started him in some spots where I'm just like desperate for, you know,
I had A. Chan and I had Priest Hall.
And so I just needed point in like, ugh.
Worst exotic.
ever hate his guys.
Is Monty dropable?
How long is he out for?
One to two weeks.
Okay, not dropable.
What else happened in this game?
Nico Collins, relatively ineffective,
wasn't overly heavily targeted, right?
But Tennessee's defense is kind of bad.
I think we were hoping Nico would have a really good game and you just didn't.
Yeah, I think especially in light of the fact that there were 36 pass attempts,
or how many past attempts from C.34 past attempts from C.J. Stroud.
You expect more than just seven targets, five catches.
42 dropbacks, actually. That's a lot.
Yeah, yeah. So that's encouraging long term, but you really expect Niko to be a little bit more of the alpha.
Yeah. That's really it, though. On the other side, Cam Ward's the worst starting quarterback in football.
Pretty comfortably. Yeah.
Yeah, I think so.
Tony Pollard, again, pretty good usage.
No.
Doesn't matter.
Well, actually, no, Tadje Spears nine receptions.
Yeah.
What is that?
Yeah.
So this is semantics.
This is an arbitrary distinction I've always had.
There are workhorses, which are running backs who get a lot of carries and not targets.
And bell cows who get a lot of snaps carries targets, rats.
And this was us seeing that Pollard is a workhorse, not a bellcours.
cow if he got like the spears passing down role like that that's an elite role where even if this
offense sucks as bad as it does like is really valuable for fantasy but he doesn't have it so
again this this titan's offense for fantasy is just um totally dead outside of carnell tate
who has some upside but is going to be like maddeningly inconsistent Ryan heath on this show last
week had the comp that you know in a best case scenario maybe he could be tet macnickman
millen from a season ago. And I think that's great. So the cheeky stat I have, which mirrors my
stat on Tet from a season ago, is right now Carnell Tate averages 145 yards per game when Ward
hits 200 passing yards. The rest of the time, he averages just 32.3 yards per game. And of course,
Kim Ward has only hit 200 yards once this year, might not hit it again for the rest of the year.
And so it's reminiscent of Bryce Young last year who hit 200 yards three times.
Exactly.
Yeah, I get the vision there.
Okay.
So again, not a ton going on here for fantasy.
At one point, well, like Bryce Young, remember the yanked Bryce Young out.
He started Danny Dolph.
Yeah, yep, yep.
And then he came back and he looked great.
It looked significantly improved.
And you had Robert Sala saying, I think he has PTSD from all.
the sacks he took you cannot ever say that that's that's like that's like telling your girlfriend
like that dress does make you look fat um uh so yeah please yeah maybe i mean like if they do that
the the the titans are going to be like 12 point underdogs this week and then they do that
miss travisky's naps the starter they'll be like six point underdogs eight point yeah they need
to sit them down they i said it on the show last week
They need to send them down.
I also, they got to get them right because I have to see Jeremiah Smith be the first overall pick in the draft.
It has to happen.
So I can't, I can't live in a world where the Titans have to make a decision between Smith and then one of these faulty quarterbacks.
You know what I mean?
Like I just need to see Smith and Cardell Tate again together.
I need to see Cam Ward play right.
I have to see.
If Smith isn't the first pick, I'm going to lose my mind.
No player that good should not be the first.
in the draft.
Anyways, this is not a draft show,
so I'll stop talking about Jeremy.
I do wish it was, but.
I'll give you this.
I'll give you this.
Jeremiah Smith,
best wide receiver prospect since.
Calvin Johnson.
If you don't want to go that far back,
Julio Jones.
And he actually pretty much is a Julio Jones reincarnate.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Awesome.
Our fantasy commission says for him it's all about the friendships.
Cute, Kevin.
But I disagree.
Agree. Like with Bet365. I get paid the second my team goes up big with early payout and can cash out at any time before the game ends. No hard feelings, Kevin. Just faster payouts from Bet365. Bengals Dolphins.
Some more kind of disgusting.
Let's start with the Bengals because the Chase Brown role that we love Scott, apparently is it lovable anymore?
No, and it's time to panic.
And it's like as soon as this happened, like it's time.
And it could just be a blip on the radar.
It could just be one weird week.
It could be, you know, he's dealing with some things and, you know, you know, just feeling, feeling it from his 11 catches he had the week before.
but it's always a major red flag because that's all Chase Brown has ever had going for him is volume, volume, volume, because he's not that good.
He's always been pretty inefficient.
He's been like bottom five in rushing yards over expectation per carry every year of his career, including this one.
And yeah, and so what happened was he had 13 carries, Samage Piran had 14.
He had four targets.
Somaget-P-Rine had two.
And so we were saying he's a buy-low
because he ranks third, fourth,
and non-red-zone XFP per game.
But now you have like a 50-50 split.
And what's really interesting about it,
Michael Floreo had the tweet,
Chase Brown had 60% of the snaps.
Samage-P-Rine had 52%.
So if you, and by the way, Piron was the vastly more efficient, more productive runner.
He had 68 rushing yards to Chase Brown's 39 when they both had basically the same amount of carries.
But if you do the map there, Brett, you'll see 60 plus 52 adds up to over 100%.
It's 100.
It's a 10%.
Yeah.
Are we back to the pony package here?
What's going on with the pony package?
Liam Cohen made this a thing a couple years ago when he was in Tampa.
Hey, Trey, every time we say pony package, you need to play a pony by genuine.
Yeah, so anyways, since Liam Cohen brought that back, it's always been a thing throughout NFL history, but, you know, Liam Cohen's the one who reinvented it.
I just, I just remembered I won the Colson Loveland bet. That means that means you have to sing.
only by genuine in its entirety.
That does not mean that.
That does not mean that.
All right.
Then you have to do your Parker Washington impression I've heard so much about.
We have to talk about this.
Without the recording.
At least do your Jamaican Trump.
Yeah.
Okay.
Anyways, more news in this game.
So we're worried about Chase Brown.
And Samajai Piran objectively looked better in this game as well,
which is not,
doesn't feel good.
But then Jibar Chase decided to play in this game.
T. Higgins decided to play.
We didn't think they were going to play, Scott.
When we did start sit, we had them both out.
Yeah.
We spent a bunch of time winching about Dante Myers and.
Oh, I had a 10-minute rant about Mike Jaseki on Saturday.
Yeah, and Mike Jaseki, who, you know.
Doesn't matter.
He caught a touchdown on the first drive and then didn't touch the ball again, the rest of the thing.
Yeah, yeah.
So stupid.
Oh, anyway, so Chase looked good in this game.
Business as usual outside of the running backs share, though, right?
I don't know.
Was Burrow really dominant?
190 yards?
No.
Charmard Chase had one really sick touchdown catch, but
Right.
You would expect them to destroy this Miami defense, and they didn't.
It was yet another game where Miami hung around,
and it wasn't really competitive,
but they did enough to make it feel like it was competitive, you know?
What did you just Google that has you smirking over there?
Go on.
I just dropped the lyrics to Pony by Genuine in the private chat in case you wanted to sing it, perhaps.
I'm just a bachelor.
I'm looking for a partner, someone who knows how to ride without.
Okay.
Okay.
So, okay.
Let's move on here, Scott.
Hey, the dolphins might have something in Ali Gordon.
Oh, gee, who told you that?
Your boy, I know, I know.
So 18 carries, 88 rushing yards in a touchdown.
Jalen Wright, by the way, who's blind,
so like let's not be too critical of him.
He has a disability.
Six carries, 11 yards, zero touchdowns.
On the full season, over five yards per carry for Ali Gordon,
exactly two yards per carry for Jalen Wright.
So maybe there's, I mean, it's hard because this offense is dead
and neither of them are getting passing down work,
and they're always going to be trailing, but that's
Ollie,
Ollie looks good though, bro.
Yeah, he does look good.
And pretty much everyone's been scared to run against the Bengals,
and then the dolphins are just like, we'll do it.
How about Malik Willis massively outproducing his projection this week?
Yeah.
He's been a point of contention in our projections meeting for some reason every single week.
It's not me.
I hate his guts.
74 rushing yards and a touchdown today.
That alone is.
a really nice floor to work with as your exodia qb scott yeah and then another passing touchdown
a passing two point conversion only 137 passing yards but this was this was the vision though when we
when we were so high on him preseason it's like he could play objectively terrible but if he's doing
eight carries for 74 yards and a touchdown it doesn't matter it really doesn't matter so i i still think
this team is like outright tanking like greg dulcich had what three catches in this game like that's
That's a cardinal sin when you're facing the bangles who just cannot cover tight ends to save their life.
Yeah.
You are not wrong.
All right.
Let's move on.
Bears Packers,
the Colston Loveland game.
What a disaster.
This guy's dead to me, Scott.
I think we started talking about a pre-show a little bit.
But I lost the bet officially, as you've already stated.
Colson Loveland did not perform as a tight end one this week.
In fact,
the projection we had of him at Titan 19 that I was critical of.
Pretty sure he won't even hit that.
Tight end 19 projection.
He caught two passes for 19 yards, Scott, on five targets.
Is he the new Kyle Pitts?
As of right now, he's playing worse than Kyle Pitts.
What is it?
Is it him?
It's not, it's not.
I didn't, I Freudian slip.
I didn't mean to say that.
Okay.
All right.
It is.
See how fast I was on your ass?
Yeah, you were like, that was like, fly on a poop.
It's tough to be Brent Whitfield.
Yeah.
My heart is.
Keynham and Tyson,
Bajent literally forgot how to play quarterback today.
I mean, Bajett was awful.
Keenham comes in to replace him.
I thought you said Caleb Williams is the worst starting quarterback in football.
Never.
Tyson Bajun is a top five quarterback.
What happened?
Never have I said that.
I pushed back on your thesis that.
that Bejit is better than Caleb Williams.
I did agree maybe for fantasy he is,
but not today. Today he was awful.
Yeah. They were both awful.
Yeah, I mean, Keenom comes in.
They bench Bejant and Keenham throws a pick right away.
It's like, what is happening?
Do you see how mad Ben Johnson was?
Bro, in the end of the fourth quarter,
when the game is finally out of reach,
you could like see his lip quivering.
But it wasn't like he was about to cry.
It was like he was trying not to kill somebody.
Like he was that angry.
And I love that him and Matt LaFleur hate each other so much.
It makes those games fun.
I think that's the first time Matt's got the punk Ben too.
Ben's usually on the good side of that.
Yeah.
But you got to takeaways from here other than...
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So the Swift thing was weird to me because I went all in on him in DFS.
I'd always been saying, hey, this is the most valuable backfield in fantasy,
which was true when he was with Detroit.
by backfield xfp by total fantasy points scored from within this backfield no other backfield
comes close the issue is it's typically a 50-50 committee but one guy goes down the other should
theoretically offer league winning potential this was kind of disappointing nine carries five targets
73 yards from scrimmage and a score and a game calm anangai missed rocheon johnson
and five carry seven targets.
My conspiracy theory here was,
I think maybe he's like banged up
and dealing with something
because he missed the Wednesday practice.
And then Ben Johnson had this weird quote
where he said,
he said, yeah, it's, you know,
usage is dictated by
what happens throughout the week of practice.
And so I don't know, maybe that was him saying, he's not quite healthy.
He had the hip in the knee.
It also could be he's still kind of in the doghouse.
Remember that fumble?
And Ben Johnson said that was egregious.
That can't happen.
And so just something to store in the back of your mind.
I'm curious to see what happens this next week if Menangai's out.
I think I'm going to be bullish on Swift.
But if Rochon's involved again, I think that opens up a pathway
for Menangai to eventually become the perhaps the RV1A or do you think that's me?
I think you're overthinking it a little.
Yeah.
I do think maybe Swift has banged up, but you're you're completely forgetting the fact that
this game script just got away from the bears.
They couldn't sustain drives.
They were down at one point they were down 24.
Actually, they lost by 24.
And if you actually look at the numbers, Swift had 11 touches in the first half.
He had 13 total in the day.
Okay.
And if you include no plays, he had 13 touches in the first half.
So like, he was on pace for a monster game, but they got down by 20 points.
And it's really hard to sustain a running game when you're down by 20 points and you need clock, right?
And then on top of that, you know, Keenum and Bejant combined for, was it, four turnovers?
Yeah, four turnovers.
And then Roma Dunezay lost the fumble as well.
So the Bears had five turnovers today, which greatly capped their plays run.
and then they were in a game script that was down.
And I do think Swift is banged up to your point,
but I think it had way more to do with game script.
He was on pace for like a 26-ish type of game,
26-touch type of game.
Yeah, I was still hoping for a bit more passing down work,
but that's fair.
Certainly probably the more plausible scenario.
But on the opposite side, I mean,
this Packer's team that we've been lampooning
looked awesome on offense and on defense.
Bears defense looked awful when they can't play keepaway like they did against the Jets.
They looked downright awful.
And you had both wide receivers step up in a major way.
Christian Watson, eight targets, six catches, 143 yards, two scores.
Matthew Golden, seven targets, over 100 receiving yards.
On the full season, Matthew Golden is a high-end wide receiver, two, 15.3 fantasy points per game.
Christian Watson is the wide receiver six, 21.9 fantasy points per game.
Brett, you want to ask me how close I was to making Christian Watson the Exodia
over either of the running backs?
You were super close.
My guy, I love Christian Watson.
And so that's a bitter reminder, heartbreaking disappointment.
But I have them on a ton of team, so very happy.
I believe this continues.
I love how concentrated this.
it's it's always been
Matt LaFleur great at scheming guys open
and it's always been
on a per route per dropback basis
elite hyper efficiency
from the wide receivers and you still have that
but now it's condensed. You don't have that gross
four-way five-way platoon. So
I'm trusting into this moving forward.
Bro, they had six pass plays
of 30 plus yards in this game.
Wow. Watson, Golden, and Kraft
all each caught one,
45 or more.
I mean, it was just a dynamic day for all three of them.
It was pretty awesome to see.
And I do agree with you.
The consolidation here is awesome.
If they would have to throw the ball more, how much would they have done?
Like, they didn't have to throw the entire fourth quarter, dude.
Like, this was just a bludgeoning.
So.
Yeah.
Yeah, man.
Good stuff.
Matthew Golden continues to impress me, too, by the way.
He's super dynamic with the ball in his hands.
Um, by the way, he was like, uh, the analytics world's like one of our biggest misses of the past
decade, Matthew golden, where the analytics were just awful on this guy. And usually the
analytics crowd is right. This, this is a win for the film bros out there.
Win for the film bros. But I, I do think the struggles you saw as a, as a rookie was,
I think that the analytics uncovered that that was going to happen for sure. And it, and it did.
So I think it's kind of a win for both, to be honest.
You got to remember, like, player development's not, like,
guaranteed or linear for every player.
It's different for everyone.
So he had clear deficiencies coming out of school.
He fixed a lot of them, and that's why he's turning into a great player.
Right.
Like Kyle Pitts, next year is the year.
I've been telling everyone, everyone gets so excited.
Guys, it's 2027.
It's the seventh year breakout.
Yeah, there we go.

All right, Raiders, Patriots, Scots, this was quite the letdown for,
the Raiders who have now lost back to back games after starting three and oh the Patriots all of
a sudden are playing good football again Drake May is putting up crazy stat lines again let's start on the
raiders side of the ball really not I think I think this is a good helpful reminder for like how
quickly things can change it's a week to week league man it's you kirk cousins had what three
straight passing touchdowns and four straight games and then he didn't play the fourth quarter in this
game and then Drake may his first three games had 585 yards one touchdown five interceptions
last two weeks 640 yards eight touchdowns one interception complete total turnaround and this is what
this is the real Drake may probably this is probably the real Kirk cousins right yeah Drake
definitely got some some fun bounces today like he had a couple just completely busted
coverages.
Okay.
Like that,
uh,
the DeMario Douglas touchdowns.
You see that?
Yeah.
No one within 30 yards of the guy.
You know,
just completely what?
Nah,
I'm not taking away from anything away from Drake.
I'm just saying it's like,
I don't know how much we can like project that type of success week over week.
So,
but on the,
the Raider side of it,
Ash and Genti,
ugh.
I know it was a game script thing, right?
Only 10 carries,
but another inefficient day on the ground.
Hey, listen, he can't, he was a game time decision.
Yeah.
They had another prayer circle for him right before the game started.
So what I thought the bigger note at the running back stuff was that Dylan
Laobie got more run than Mike Washington.
Yeah, that was interesting.
I like that's dude, that's really interesting.
Is it not?
I mean, we've.
That's a guy to, that's a guy to potentially pick up, you know.
If, if Ashen Gentie was that close to sitting out and it looked like maybe lobby
he's the RB two like Mike Washington is just going to be the change of pace guy like that's
you know who we thought he would be based on his profile yeah Bowers is an animal don't need to
tell you that well he what an animal he is he no like actually like his like four of his
catches today were ridiculous contested catches so three games he's played he averages eight catches
104 yards, one touchdown per game,
24.1 fantasy points per game.
That's six fantasy points per game more than the next closest.
Trey McBride, who's having an incredible year.
And still, Brock Bowers, orders of magnitude better.
He is who we thought he was.
And all-time great.
All-time great.
I would love to have seen this game if the Patriots had Christian Gonzalez and Carlton
Davis.
Could they have taken Brock Bowers out of the game?
I do wonder, but it doesn't matter.
He put up the points.
New England's running back situation, Trayvon Henderson, did he get hurt?
Do you have an update from Jeff on him?
Yeah, he got hurt.
He's probably going to miss the next one to two weeks.
We're still waiting on more information.
Make sure you read Jeff's article.
And so, yeah, like we've seen it before.
Trayvion Henderson averages like 24 fantasy points per game
without Ramandre. I will say Corey Kiner got some work, more work than I expected, six carries,
one catch. I had 52 rushing yards on those six carries, so better efficiency than you would
have thought. So yeah, maybe, and also Will Campbell got knocked out of this game as well, the left
tackle. And so, you know, maybe Belkow usage isn't necessarily a given next week of Travian misses,
but probably in our projections
where Madre will be like a low-end RV one.
Do you have any other notes in this game?
I don't think so.
Kind of a boring one, big time blow out.
How did Mendoza look to you?
Fine.
I mean, he, it was garbage time.
Yeah, okay.
It wasn't indicative of what they're going to do next week, I don't think.
Like, I think Cousins is still a starter.
It was just like, yeah, yeah.
Pop-up duties.
Yep, exactly.
Keep Cousins healthy.
All right.
Saints.
The Vikings continue their nonsense.
The Saints all of a sudden are bad.
Like really bad.
What the heck?
But Kyla Murray is like just a really puzzling dude.
He didn't play great in this game,
but he still only had like six incompletions.
I think he started like 11 for 11 or something.
Yeah,
I'll say the box score is really nice,
especially if you factor in all the injuries.
No Jordan Addison, no T.J. Hawkinson. He was, he ran minus the kneel down seven carries,
54 rushing yards. Did he actually play well, though?
He didn't play bad, but that was the best he's played this year. I'll say that.
I'm curious to see where our ass numbers are going to be on Jefferson.
Because like, I'm not seeing him win a lot of routes in the broadcast tape.
Yeah.
Right. So all 22 should be, by the time we're done recording this, I'll probably be able to go look at all 22.
And even that stat lines disappointing in a game without Hawkinson, without Addison.
And so this has been like a two-year trend.
You could just say, hey, it's first, it's his first game back from an ankle.
He's not quite 100%.
But this is a trend dating back to last year where you're like, he's an elite contested catch guy,
but he's no longer a separatist.
Yeah.
Not consistently, at least.
Which is, he's still really young.
That's what's crazy.
It's not like he should be past his prime, you know?
That's the crazy part.
Aaron Jones was a great call for us.
We both loved him this week.
I touted him on John's Vizen show this week.
And he's like,
he looks decrepit like he's hurt,
like very,
very hurt.
Every time he gets tackled,
it takes him five seconds to get off the ground.
But he's putting up numbers, Scott.
Yeah,
he got dinged up in this game.
Jordan Mason's coming back.
He's a cell high.
but up until Jordan Mason comes back,
this is great usage and volume.
I think Tyler Shuck,
more like Tyler Suck,
am I right?
I think if you have him,
you have to just like allow this one down game.
You know,
he was averaging 22.8 fantasy points per game
coming into the week,
and it was a worst possible matchup.
I mean, factored that in.
It was still really bad.
He only scored 1.8 fantasy points.
My question for you, Brett, is, was this really a game where they just sucked and the Vikings defense was great?
Or was it just a game where actually Minnesota played keepaway?
Because they had twice as much time of possession, 40 minutes to 20 minutes.
And so maybe it was more that because I don't know.
Well, New Orleans had three turnovers also.
Yeah.
So, yeah, I mean, it turned into a game of keepaway naturally.
So, so, yeah, three turnover is also two for ten on third down.
The Vikings were nine of 18.
Couldn't sustain drives.
It was really tough.
I mean, Vikings defense does that, though.
They challenge you.
They put you in, you know, super tough situations where either they get a ton of sacks or they force a bunch of turnovers.
So today they got the turnovers.
Hey, I get a question for you.
Okay.
Where the heck is Joanne Jennings?
Well, it seems like he's out of favor.
Bro, bro, check this out.
Justin Jefferson had a team high 79 yards.
Next closest name, Gavin Bartholomew, 33 yards.
Below him, Deshawn Jones.
That's with a J.
Just Sean Jones.
Below him, Ty Felton, below him Miles Price, below him DJ Dallas,
below him Ben Urosic.
Joanne Jennings is right now top 25 in ass.
Only Marvin Harrison Jr. is worst by targets per route run.
What the heck's going on here?
Is that another guy who's going to get traded?
Perhaps to the 49ers because Debo just got hurt.
They have no one else.
Well, what's crazy, Scott, is I,
I thought maybe when they signed OBJ, there was something up.
Like, okay, are they moving on from Jennings?
because like that's a that's a weird decision right yeah but um this is going to blow your mind he
played like 47 snaps today oh my god he ran ran 28 routes it's probably more pertinent but
you need to watch the film on that yeah i know i know it's on my it's on my list of things to do
don't worry uh yeah he's played in a lot in every game though yeah he ran like this is good
right he had like 68 snaps last week like i got it's
It's befuddling.
Yeah, befuddling.
But I think it's because he lives in the middle of the field.
And Kyler Murray.
Kyler Murray can't see the middle of the field.
Why not?
Low-hanging fruit.
Why not?
Because he's short.
Low-hanging fruit he could actually reach.
True.
All right, can we move on?
Yeah.
Browns Jets.
Yep.
Great game.
Fantastic game that neither team wanted to win.
They were both trading.
In the Slop Fest of the week.
sponsored by by me I won my Colson Loveland bet that means I get five minutes at the
end of Friday start sit episode what are we gonna do we're gonna do a history
lesson we're gonna do a school of Scott history lesson I get five minutes I'm
gonna talk about dog personal heroes and men of renown what one specific
individual I am so excited to talk five minutes about
Marcus Aurelius?
No, but he's up there.
Socrates is up there, but it's not him.
You know, we're talking about Cleveland, New York, right?
Not Chicago?
Yeah, the Slat Fest of the week, disgusting game.
What do you want to say?
I have notes, but I don't even want to look at it.
KCC gets hurt on like the first drive.
Oh my God, what a hit.
That was like a 1990s.
The crazy part about it.
Lynn Biscuit plays in the background.
Is Minka Fitzpatrick is the one who laid the hit.
And he gets up and contests to the ref that he didn't do anything wrong.
My brother, you just knocked a dude out freaking cold.
What are you even talking?
You sure that wasn't his celebration?
No.
He like, no, he like legit got up.
He's like, what?
What?
You throw on the flag on me?
Like, dude.
You dove.
You dove head first into another man's head.
Yes.
Vicious hit.
Vicious.
it. Quinn Shaw Judkins, another game under four yards of carry, Scott.
15 in a row.
Is it 16 now?
No, no, no.
It's 14 last week, 15 this week.
A pass volume wasn't there for him either.
Denzel Boston still playing really well, yards per route run over two, had another
touchdown.
Yeah, Deshawn played kind of like buns today, man.
Yeah, he played like Deshawn Watson.
And Gino Smith played like Gino Smith.
Do you see how many sacks?
Sean Watson took?
No.
Eight.
Oh, my God.
The David Bailey had three sacks.
He's a rookie.
Three sacks.
Yeah, it was bad.
On the jet side, Braylin Allen kind of bawling out a little bit.
Yeah, a little bit.
24 carries, 116 yards and a touchdown, just about zero passing down work.
He's, he's like poor man's Derek Henry.
Ooh, rich, rich man's AJ Dillon.
There you go.
Yeah, there you go, because everyone's technically a poor man's Derek Henry.
He, yeah, he's going to be like a high-end RB2 until Breece Hall comes back.
And Garrett Wilson's going to be, you know, Garrett Wilson, like.
Dude, Gino was just locked on to him today.
Yeah, yeah, but hey, don't forget, Adonai Mitchell comes back,
and you and I are both Adonai Mitchell guys.
Yeah, but I'm also a Garrett Wilson guy.
He's so good, man.
He's so good.
Is that already a third hundred yard game this year?
No, just a second, okay.
Yeah, not a lot going on in this game, though.
I mean, it was gross.
Did you actually see any of this game, Scott?
I know you don't watch games, but.
I saw it in my spreadsheets.
Yes.
These teams traded the ball back in the fourth quarter.
I'm like a beautiful mind, you know, like I'll open up the spreadsheet and then I just see the game being played.
Yeah.
over my spreadsheet.
That's incredible.
I just pulled it up eight sacks.
That's the third most in fantasy points data history.
Nice.

All right, let's move on.
Colt Steelers, the Michael Pittman Jr. revenge game that he didn't play in.
Did he play? I don't think he played.
No, he didn't play.
It was supposed to be a Roman Wilson game, but Roman Wilson got hurt.
Yeah.
So instead it was the Jalen Warren game.
Hell yeah, it was.
Hell yeah.
So this is, I, I talked to you about Jalen Warren on the show several weeks ago where I was like, is he actually like a tremendous bylaw?
Because I've always thought he's exceptionally talented.
Coaches never want to give him a bell cow role.
But I bet he excels at it.
He's been excelling at it.
And still Mike McCarthy is like, yeah, when Rico Dattle comes back,
it's going to be running back by a committee approach.
When you ask me, that's what I said.
I was worried about, you know?
But it's like, look at what he's doing.
He had an 80-yard touchdown catch.
He had over 100 rushing yards.
If you count the run, you remember two weeks ago,
the 80-plus yard run he had,
where it was a DK Metcalf hole that was like super sus.
Yeah.
If you count that play,
he's averaging 192.3 yards from scrimmage per game.
since Dattle went down.
I think this guy's awesome.
I think he's a by-low.
I think when Dattle comes back,
it's going to be 75% of work at least.
Or is this Sig Bloom's assumption of rational coaching
and they're just going to do the stupid thing?
I don't know how you can like watch the tape
and look at the production.
This guy's done the last two weeks and be like,
yeah, we need to get him involved less.
Right.
I don't know how.
Thank you.
But it just feels like we see this happen all the time.
And Rico Dowdell is a Mike McCarthy guy.
Like handpicked to come here and be the running back.
So it's like, I don't know, man.
Anyways.
Yeah, so Jalen Warren's balling out right now.
Jeremy Bernard, this is a note.
Rookie wide receiver got to play a lot today with Roman Wilson's injury.
Looks kind of good doing it.
Six catches, 80 yards on nine targets.
the team in targets actually yeah yeah 80 yards too and this is what you and i said is the mike
mccarthy slot role is incredibly valuable and so roman wilson goes down with an injury jeremy bernard
steps up steps up Aaron rogers was was glowing and effusive in praise of germy bernard earlier this
week which is very rare for Aaron rogers to do about a rookie but very important very rare for aaron rogers
to do about anybody yeah
He doesn't say nice things about people.
What do you mean?
He must have came over for the sleepover party and watched loose change with him.
What is the loose change reference there?
What are we doing?
Don't worry about it.
We can edit that out.
He did something to get in Aaron Rogers' good graces.
That has been really hard for a lot of people to get into just ask Jeff Janice,
who Aaron Rogers viciously bullied, shoved into lockers.
Oh, well, for those taking notes at home,
That is three weeks in a row, the Mike McCarthy slot role in this offense has had a good game.
Roman Wilson, the two weeks prior, now Jeremy Bernard.
Whoever's playing that role is important for fantasy for the rest of the season, in my opinion.
Yeah.
On the cold side, by the way, it's just like so gross, where we talked about Jonathan Taylor being a cell high.
And, you know.
Now he's just a cell.
Yeah.
Seth McGowan is actually getting more involved, too.
It's just a little bit, but it's, it, it, it, it,
can add up and um Josh downs yeah just keeps being nothing Tyler Warren looks like the team's
number one now yeah all the same notes I have definitely I mean we're not doing a buy low sell high
episode this week because we're doing rest of season rankings oh snap so I'm really curious to see
where you're going to have jalen Warren and where we're going to have Jonathan Taylor but to me
John and Taylor is just a sell right now.
If you can get remotely competent, you know, compensation for him,
something near what you paid to draft him, I think you got to do it.
But we'll see.
It's tough because running back is so scarce and there's a lot of injuries every week.
But yeah, anyways.
Okay, Giants at commanders, your blue men.
What happened here?
Yeah.
How is there still ties in football?
in 2026.
Scott, it's so,
it's like anti-American.
It's like kissing your sister,
Brett.
Let's start on the Washington side
because Jaden Daniels.
Bro, you tell me he wasn't going to run.
I,
I, what?
I don't know.
You defied Jeff Mueller,
who said there shouldn't be an injury, Doc.
I did not defy him.
I did simply ask the question, though,
if he's got a hurt elbow and he can't
brace on his arm.
Yeah.
Why would he learn?
It was a very fair question.
It seemed like they wouldn't have a bunch of plays designed for him to run.
So whatever.
It didn't bother him.
Over 100 yards rushing.
Yeah.
103 rushing yards.
Two rushing touchdowns.
And so through 10 quarters now, it's over 200 rushing yards.
He comes out to 81.2 rushing yards per game,
rushing yards per four quarters.
Is he a top five fantasy quarterback moving forward?
I think so.
I think he's just about there.
You think so?
Yeah.
He's like a disposable exodia quarterback.
It's like until he goes down again.
But in the short term or until that happens,
I think he's, yeah, mid-range QB1 at worst.
Wow.
So you're taking him over not Josh Allen, not Brock Purdy.
I'll take him over at Brock Purdy, probably, honestly.
Really?
Yeah.
Purdy's averaged.
Yeah, but it's just the guaranteed floor.
for a guy who just had over 100 rushing notes.
Healthy Lamar or Jaden Daniels?
Lamar.
Easy.
Okay.
Jared Gawford, Jaden Daniels.
Jaden Daniels.
Interesting.
All right.
Jacori-Kroski-Mere also showed he has life.
He breathed.
What do you mean?
Eh, you know, a 33-yard touchdown run.
Seven and a half yards of carry.
That's the best performance of the season for him by far.
Yeah, brought his yards per carry up to 2.7.
Is that actually what it did?
No, I don't know.
Oh, that would have been so funny.
Something like, directionally accurate.
He was 2.8 yards per carry heading into the week.
Okay.
Giant side.
You want to do the Giant Side?
Malik neighbors.
Let's talk about those G-Men.
Freaking 20 targets from Malik neighbors.
Two weeks in a row now, we've had a player hit 20 targets.
Yeah.
Citi Lamb last week.
Yeah.
This might have been my game of the week.
We went with your lions instead of my Giants, but it's,
By the way, Cam Scadaboo remains like a major sell.
He's been a cell for his multiple weeks in a row.
But these past catchers, I think, by the way,
I know it was a game, James threw the ball 54 times.
But if you look at the catches, 67% of the catches went to just two guys.
One week after 72% went to just two guys.
So a ton of pass volume, 54 pass attempts,
in a concentrated offense, that adds up.
it's a fantasy bonanza
Malik neighbors the original
people get mad at me because after this shoulder injury
Jeff Mueller's like oh he's a cell
but the original thesis was like
this guy is an exceptional talent
and he's an a hole
like he demands the ball like if he doesn't get
12 plus targets
he throws a his he fit
and the the announcer actually said that
in this game
the announcer said something like
you know, he's the,
Hardbaugh said he's the sort of guy
where if he gets 14 targets
in a game, he comes back to you
on Tuesday and is like, why do I only get
14 targets?
And so this week he got 20.
I want to know how the separation was
because like it was negative,
negative, negative,
mildly above average last week.
And if it was just like,
okay this week,
that makes the 20 targets
like even more impressive to me and again the production was there 11 catches 120 yards
and a touchdown why would it make the targets more impressive it's just like like like
hardball lives in fear of this guy just okay gotcha but I mean like it shows he no it's it's what
it is is we knew he would start off slow and so like if he's still only mildly separating we
know at the halfway point is going to be back to separating at a top 15 level.
Fair, fair enough. Yeah, I'm excited to get the Dull 22 on that for sure.
Well, then what about Isaiah likely who, believe it or not, he, by the way, 13 targets,
11 catches, 94 yards, two touchdowns. He came into the week leading all players in red
zone target share, had two touchdowns in this game. He now averages only 1.1 fantasy points per game
behind Trey McBride.
He has 11 targets more than any other tight end
not named Trey McBride.
He's had a season low of just 23% target share.
That would be James and Williams season high.
Just strays.
Love just throwing random hooks in there.
What I will say, likely was seen limping
at the end of the game.
That's not great.
He also came into this game with knee and groinj injuries,
which is like kind of crazy.
was as productive as he was with with these you know minor injuries um but still yeah man dude
it's Ryan's not here so we could throw him under the bus he he tried to talk us off of
Isaiah likely but top three tight end and fantasy right now hang the banner hang it he's running a
little hot on touchdowns right no I don't think so I think he only had one coming into the week
I think he had two.
It just seemed like a sticky red zone roll is my...
I think he's had two games of two, to be honest.
But if it's a sticky red zone role,
then maybe that continues, you know?
Yeah.
Yeah, so he has four touchdowns in a year,
multiple touchdowns and two games.
Right on.
All right, let's get to if man.
Broncos, Chargers, bro.
Did you...
Justin Herbert was inventing new ways to fumble the ball in this game.
Did you see this?
Yeah, man, I have to be honest.
if he has another like 14 to 17 games like this,
I'm going to start to question whether or not
he's actually a top 10 quarterback in this league.
I'm sorry, that was such an elite way of saying that.
I can't even, hopefully the listeners at home
understand what you just did, hopefully.
Oh, man, that was great.
Herbert took five sacks this game.
He threw a pick.
He fumbled the ball.
I think two or three different times.
Maybe one of them,
they called him down.
The one that he lost was hysterical, where he trips over his own lineman.
And then as he's falling backwards, holding the ball out completely like a lunatic,
the offensive lineman that he tripped over kicks the ball out of his hands.
Because they're both laying like perpendicular with each other on the ground.
Oh, my God, was it funny?
I was rolling.
I was laughing.
Oh, dude.
hilarious.
But this.
You can't be too hard on the guy when, you know, Lab McConkey wasn't playing.
and this isn't his full-time job.
Ladd-Baconke was actually active for this game.
For the sideline aura.
He didn't play a snap, but he was active.
Listen, this isn't his full-time job.
He just does this for fun.
He's a full-time trophy boyfriend,
and this is just his hot,
so you can't get too mad at the guy.
Do you know he's actually a fantastic chess player?
Is he?
I believe that.
He's like a 1,500-e-low, which for a casualty.
Then why is his football IQ so poor?
Maybe he's in the wrong sport.
chess boxing yeah anyways this this Chargers offense is so this is two dead offenses like why are we
talking but bro I feel like I feel like this was 80% of my red zone in the 4 o'clock window
like I'm watching on this like rushing math streams and like it's free because they make me watch
the worst game 80% of the time I couldn't I just kept watching I'm like why is this continually
on my screen just Herbert running into the backs of his offensive lineman and then fumbling the
ball and then on the opposite side what the heck are we doing what the heck are we doing brett
evan ingram is your team's leading receiver with 55 yards this game sucked it's pathetic
jalen waddle you want to guess how many receiving yards jalen waddle who you spent a
first round pick on signed to big money you want to guess how many receiving yards you had 19
I already know.
Yeah.
So he's had,
he's had 35 or fewer receiving yards in four of five games this year.
He also dropped a wide open pass down the field.
Went right through his hands.
Yeah.
Well,
that was one of five targets.
You have Jalen Waddle on your team should be at least twice that.
Bro.
Instead of Evan Ingram and RJ Harvey.
What are we doing?
Do you know that this game,
there was only 220 or sorry,
244 passing yards combined.
Yeah, yeah, both quarterbacks under 125 passing yards.
When is the last time that's happened?
And it wasn't a weather game.
It's not like it was rain or snow or sub-zero temperatures.
Just a normal game.
This is insane.

Scott? No.
It was, he pulled, he like absolutely pulled to Joe Biden.
Like they asked him, hey, you're 0 and 5.
What's the message to the locker room right now?
And he literally like stammered for 15 seconds.
And then, and then said, well, like very sarcastically, well, you know, tell him,
it's about how hard you work.
We got to just keep working hard.
Like just very, like he's just checked out.
It sounds like, or very, very mad.
If Mike McDaniels call him plays next week, I, I'll be shocked.
This is this is like bad bad
You know I interviewed a guy who played for Harbaught Michigan
Did you? Yeah, he told me some amazing stories, but I asked him how he thought
It would go with the charges and he said it like very boom or bust where it's like
Like Harbaugh is very weird and like can be like cringy to some and and like
But at the same like at a certain point like the locker room just like I would literally
literally die for this guy. I love him more than my mother, you know? And, but it's like,
it could go either way very easily is kind of what he was saying to me. Yeah. I get it.
All right. We're going to round this out with the 49er Seahawks game, which was just a banger of a
game. Another one that came down to the wire. There was a lot of those this week. Why don't you start
us off? What do you got here on the 49er side of the ball? Well, this team is rolling. They're
five and oh um i like that exodia wide receiver mike evans is still alive ain't dead yet um and i
i i kind of think that's yeah i think he is i think he is still alive i think by the way uh hilarious
shit talk he did the connor mcgregor who the fook is this guy to quadre diggs he's he spun him
around he was like who are you who are you uh absolutely disrespectful love love trash talk like that but yeah
I was bullish on coming into the week. I'm like, if you look at the underlying metrics,
he leads all players in Target chair on third down. He ranks top three in fantasy points for
route run. He ranks top three in ass for the six year in a row. It's just he has this rib
injury. So they're playing it safe with him. He's not fully 100%. But like theoretically, this is
a great offense to be invested in. And he's going to be 100% at one point. And so yeah,
he had a season high what was it eight targets for 78 yards last week this week a new
uh season high 10 targets season high 113 yards he's playing great he looks amazing yeah he looks awesome
and by the way that was that was that was not quandary digs that was trevon digs he i'm sorry sorry
yeah that's okay but scott in exodia performing well parker walsher watson had a great game
Malik Willis, not dead, not dead, not dead.
Dead to me.
Absolutely not dead.
Had a great game today for fantasy.
And then I see the vision with Luther Burden.
It didn't manifest into fantasy points today, but it started.
Like he actually led the team in receiving for once.
That was nice.
Yeah.
Well, my fate, my Colston Loveland and Romo Dunezay fades are looking better.
Well, actually, Romo Dunezay led the team in targets today.
Yeah, and he's had some moments.
the last few weeks too where I'm like okay he he can play but I do see like burden has some
something to him where I think if the offense can get any type of rhythm week over week with a
quarterback I think actually I could see it happening with Luther it's the first time I've ever said
that in his career so I love it I love it but anyways yeah exodia's not looking so bad should have
been Christian Watson though the the exodia runner up should have been yeah and zay flowers exodia runner up
and yeah that's the that's the thing is next year
here draft only the exodia runner ups that's okay runners up runners up uh let's hit the
seattle side js n is thanos he is inevitable yeah well he's another one of these op guys right
in in a game of fantasy football which is ruled by power law players he it's like jimier gives one
i don't know b jean too maybe js n too but like those are the the top three guys
he's going like seventh in drafts in August yeah yeah crazy and like he's had a hundred plus yards
and a touchdown in four or five games he he also like missed some time in this game he like bounced
out with an injury and then bounced back into the game and you look at like the yard it share like
sam darnald sucked in this game and jSN had over 50% of the team's uh passing yards it's like so
rare for anyone to do that and like jsn does it every week who's the best ohio state receiver to come out
in the last five years json json i i loved him coming out i said he was keen and allen reincarnated
best slot wide receiver prospect of all time i love them too you said best slot see i made the contention
he could play on the outside that was yeah yeah yeah well that as we always do i have a lean and then
you feel the same way and then i i doubled down it yeah yeah all right me that
conviction should we get out of here it's that's the week five recap we did we did every game you did

Producer Trey's like freaking out right now.
Talking about adding a live stream.
No, we're not.
You're going to get in trouble.
Producer Trey just said, no, we're not.
I don't know.
There's talks about us adding like a live stream or something to the weekly format.
But we'll see.
We have to apparently convince our producer that that's a worthy endeavor.
But anyways, leave us a comment.
Tell us what you think.
Tell us your favorite moment of week five.
And we'll be back tomorrow with our waiver.
episode. Folks, thanks for sticking with us. We are out.
My rec league goalie says he plays for the love of the game.
You gave up six goals last week, Steve. Maybe play to win, huh?
Like with Bet365, I get paid the second my team goes up big with early payout and can cash out
at any time before the game ends.
Come on, Steve. Bet365, the home of winning early.
