We got the Super Bowl all set.
Seattle versus New England.
There's going to be a million podcasts talking about that this week,
wherever you get your podcasts.
Then you've got the Senior Bowl down in Mobile.
My flight's delayed.
I'm a day late.
I'm going to be down there with Brett Whitefield covering it.
And then we've got the silly season.
The NFL off season.
Every single move matters for us in fantasy football.
There's a ton of free agent content out there where people are specifically looking at free agents as a whole.
But a lot of those lists are specific to the NFL, not necessarily to fantasy football.
So I'm going to take a look at only the quarterbacks, running backs, tight ends, and wide receivers that are going to be free agents this off season.
That's him.
That's the old sheet.
What's going on?
Theo Greminger, Fantasy Football Daily, right here on the Fantasy Points Podcast Network and Fantasy Points YouTube.
Free agents have made massive impacts in fantasy football over the last few seasons.
only have to go back two years for the Sequin Barclay Derek Henry class.
Just a massive, massive impact there, Josh Jacobs same offseason.
And down the list, it's not always some of the players at the very top.
There's players that maybe can be under the radar that sign with the team
and then see a bump in usage and an increase in fantasy football production.
Teams know what they're bringing in when they give a player money.
They have a sample size of what this player can do in the NFL and what they can't do in the NFL.
And they know some of these players fit their system maybe better than the system they're coming from.
So let's take a look at a number of them.
There's going to be a number of fantasy football friendly free agents this offseason that we need to monitor for fantasy football.
And when is free agency coming around?
The legal tampering period starts on March 9th.
followed by the actual start of free agency on March 11th.
So, you know, we're recording this in January, towards the end of January.
March 9th is right around the corner.
So we're going to get to it.
Obviously, we got you covered for the Super Bowl over here at fantasy points,
but got to talk about some of these upcoming free agents.
And my number one ranked free agent to watch is George Pickens.
And George Pickens was an easy one.
Pickens had a fantastic season this year.
his first year as a Dallas Cowboy.
He's only 24 years old.
He'll turn 25 right around the start of free agency,
but this year was a major step forward for him.
17.2 points per game in PPR leagues,
nine receiving touchdowns.
He had 1,429 receiving yards and 93 catches.
Wide receiver 5 overall in points per game.
This was a huge leap forward for pick-ins.
In Pittsburgh, we always wanted increased usage.
We wanted to see him get more opportunities for production.
Finally, he got that in Dallas and delivered in a major way.
Now, down the stretch was not quite as good as what we saw at the beginning of the season.
There was the really, really slow stretch in weeks like 14 and 15.
But then he had a 26-pointer in week 16, just reminding you what he is capable of.
With George Pickens, he's 24 years old.
So there's a ton of room to run in his profile as well.
He's easily the top ranked free agent.
Unfortunately for a lot of people listening to this,
hoping their team can get George Pickens.
He's also one of the players that's most likely to remain with his team.
Pickens is probably going to get franchise tagged,
and there's a possibility that Dallas just gives him a huge contract,
a long-term extension.
I think that would be best for both parties,
but the franchise tag option is there.
George Pickens, my number one ranked.
player. So Pickens is the easy name on the list. Easily the number one ranked free agent. And I think
he's going to be up there in most people's list when they're looking at the overall free agents,
including all the defensive players, all the offensive linemen. It's just an easy one after the
season he had and his age, all the upside he offers teams. Now we get to the rest of the list.
And I think there's about eight guys that I'm very comfortable where I have them ranked inside
the top 10. But if,
If you wanted to have one ahead of the other, I think there's some room for discussion.
But my number two ranked player for fantasy football is a player that many of us have drafted
very early in multiple seasons, and that's Breece Hall.
This year, as a positive for Breece Hall, he had his first thousand rushing yard season
of his career.
243 rush attempts.
The passing work went down, though.
In terms of receptions, this was his lowest total over the last.
last three seasons, only 36 receptions.
The Jets were a dumpster fire this year of an offense with multiple quarterbacks behind
center, Garrett Wilson lost for the season, and of course the Jets were one of the worst teams
in football this year.
Do they retain Brees Hall this offseason?
I think there's going to be a lot of Jets fans who are rooting for Brees Hall to remain a jet.
I'm not so sure of it.
At the trade deadline, they would have moved him for a third round pick.
The Kansas City Chiefs offered a fourth round pick.
Jets turned that one down.
So they had a chance to cash out.
They didn't, which sort of leaves a door open for Brees Hall.
But when it comes to Brees Hall, there's so many things that he checks off in terms of fantasy football production.
It would be easy to see him having a huge season at the age of 25.
And when we look back at Hall, 2023 is the pinnacle for him in terms of production.
only played seven games as a rookie.
But in 2023, he averaged 17.1 points per game.
And he had 76 receptions that year for nearly 600 receiving yards.
So the two-way ability that Brice Hall has was excellent there.
The breakaway ability we saw earlier in his career is also there.
So Brice Hall offers you age like Pickens.
He's only 24 years old.
and two-way ability.
Also, when you look at Breece Hall,
and this sort of thing still matters for teams
when they're looking at free agents.
Obviously, the age is in his favor,
where if a team were to sign Breece Hall,
they're getting a player that still has upside and room to run.
It's not like they're signing like a 28, 29-year-old.
24 years old, he's also got the very high draft pedigree.
In 2022, he was the fourth pick in the second round,
giving him a very high NFL draft pedigree,
which is going to matter for a lot of teams.
We always see these sort of players that are elevated on the open market.
Why is that?
Because there's other teams that wanted to draft him,
and they've been watching Breece Hall in New York saying,
this guy would do better for our team.
We would do this differently.
So there's going to be a big market for Breece Hall.
Breece Hall is also a big enough name that fan bases are going to love this one,
and the versatility is there where he can fit inside a,
of multiple offensive systems.
So Brees Hall, right there as my number two ranked player, has two-way ability, has age
on his side, has been a first round pick for us in fantasy football.
This year is probably going to settle in depending on his landing spot, probably going
to settle in somewhere in that third, fourth round, could end up becoming a real value
and a chance for him to turn things around.
There's a million teams we could point out and say,
hey, maybe this team could sign Brees Hall.
You basically go down the list of teams with Cap Space.
Breece Hall is going to be an appealing one for all of the running back needy teams.
Is there a chance that the market prices out a couple of these running backs
and makes them a little bit more viable?
When I say that, it's just there's so many running backs this off season,
and that's on top of whoever drafts Jeremiah Love who nukes whoever's behind him,
Notre Dame running back, Jeremiah Love, the first running back off the board in this draft class.
Plus the potential for cuts.
There's a couple of cut candidate running backs.
We're not on our list today.
Guys like DeAndre Swift who could get cut and their teams could enjoy some cap relief doing it that way.
Also, some older players who could get cut.
So when we look at the marketplace, does this make Breece Hall attainable for some teams that could be wild cards out there?
Teams with maybe a little bit less cap space.
but would have the flexibility to get Brice Hall in a cheaper deal.
I don't think so.
I think ultimately Hall gets a strong contract extension,
and I think it gets signed early on in the free agent process,
or the Jets are going to use the franchise tag on Brees Hall
and put him, whoever is behind center at quarterback next year for New York,
will have Brees Hall playing next to them a chance for year two,
Aaron Glenn, to continue having Brees Hall.
So Brees Hall comes in ranked at number two on my list.
Number three on the list, this name is going to be polarizing to many of you in the fantasy community.
But it's a player that I anticipate is going to get a massive free agent deal this offseason.
And again, he's a younger player.
So a little bit surprising for some of you to see him rank this high.
But number three for me is Kyle Pitts.
When you look at the lack of pass catching tight ends in the NFL and how impactful a tight end who hits big can be for fantasy football.
Kyle Pitts checks off so many boxes.
And for a large portion of his career,
he had been such a disappointment to fantasy managers.
We had overdrafted Kyle Pitts for multiple seasons,
ended up being a bust.
This year ends up being a huge ADP value.
He needed to have a big year in 2025 and delivered in a major way.
Career high in targets, had 118 targets,
career high in receptions with 88,
had five touchdown grabs and fantasy points per game.
He averaged 12.4 points per game.
So it's been a roller coaster ride to his career,
but now he's settled down and looks like he could cash in
with like a lucrative second contract.
Again, Kyle Pitts is still only 25 years old.
You're talking about a player who was the fifth overall pick
in the NFL draft.
The Falcons hired Kevin Stefansky,
the former Browns head coach this.
offseason, which makes me think we could see Kyle Pitts retained. Tight ends have had a great deal
of success under Stefansky. Atlanta also has a, lacks, a high target earner at the wide
receiver two position opposite Drake London. So Kyle Pitts would check off a ton of boxes for Atlanta,
but he's going to end up getting a massive contract somewhere on the open market. And you can
factor in teams that need a tight end, but you can also factor in teams that need a receiver in
general are going to be interested in Kyle Pitts. You put him with one of these younger
quarterbacks as sort of a safety valve candidate, a player that could be a reliable one or two
target in a passing game. I think Kyle Pitts is there 25 years old and checked off a ton of boxes
this year with production is a player that is going to have a huge market for him on the free agent
market coming up. Let's take a quick break. We come back. We're talking about more highly
ranked free agents for this off season. Welcome back.

A big shout out to everybody who's checking out the new channel.
That's Fantasy Points Dynasty.
Number of these players are Dynasty relevant over there as well.
Let's keep it going.
Number four overall, and this one I could go anyway.
Like when it comes to four through six, it's really close with the number of these players.
But I'm going to go with Travis E.T.N.
Who's 27 years old, had a terrific season for Jacksonville this year.
He rebounded nicely from a very down 20.
24 season and ended up excelling under new head coach Liam Cohen produced near RB1 level
numbers this year.
And when you look at ETN, former first round pick in the NFL draft, and he's had excellent
two-way ability throughout his career, 165 career receptions, and he's had three seasons now
with a thousand plus rushing yards.
ETN turns 27.
So he's a little bit older than
Bruce Hall and he's older than Kenneth Walker,
who we're going to talk about it a little bit.
But when it comes to ETN,
we've seen the production,
we've seen his ability to handle volume,
and we've seen him excel on multiple offensive coordinators,
including Liam Cohen this year.
260 rush attempts this year to go along with 36 receptions,
and he had 13 total touchdowns this year.
So ETN scored very well.
Points per game-wise averaged 14.9, which put him just outside of RB1 territory.
And he had some huge impactful games for Jacksonville.
Now, the best possible Travis Eton outcome here would be E.TN to remain with Jacksonville,
hold on to this RB1 role, a role that he excelled with this season.
And I think fantasy-wise, it would be the easiest role for us to trust with ETS.
So we'll keep an eye on Travis CTN, see what happens with him this offseason.
Does he sign a long contract with Jacksonville?
I think that's on the table.
Jacksonville, though, there's a lot that they want to do this off season.
They took a big step forward as a team, lost in disappointing fashion.
And a lot of what they've been doing last off season was analytically driven.
If they think that they can get similar running back production with Bachel Tutin,
and someone else that they sign a little bit cheaper on the free agent market or another rookie
draft pick and maybe mix in a little LeQuint Allen as well, I think that that door is open for
Jacksonville. If they want to do the easiest thing and run it back with Travis Eton and use ETN
in his 28 year old and 29 year old season, that could be on the table for them as well. So
Travis ETN, a big name to watch. Now, my number one quarterback is Daniel Jones. And if Daniel
Jones didn't get injured this past off season, that he could have been ranked even higher here.
Torn right Achilles tendon ends his season this year. And he had a really strong start to his
Indianapolis career, obviously fizzled out in New York, had a short stint in Minnesota. Minnesota
maybe wishes they still had Daniel Jones. And I think that's a potential landing spot for him,
one to keep an eye on. There'll be a number of teams interested.
He's 28 years old.
He was QB 12 in points per game this year.
And there's a very shallow pool of quarterbacks this offseason.
So Daniel Jones, number one ranked quarterback.
We would like to see him return to this Shane Steichen offense in Indianapolis.
The problem is, does Indianapolis trust him coming off this injury?
Could we see Daniel Jones elsewhere next year?
We're going to keep an eye on this one.
But Jones at 28 years old certainly rejuvenated his chance.
to get another contract this off season, or excuse me, this past season with his success
on the field and Indianapolis won a bunch of games with him early on in the season.
It's do teams trust the medical?
Is he going to bounce back quickly?
We'll keep an eye on this one.
Number six, I mean, after the playoff he's had, should probably be higher up on my list.
But it's Kenneth Walker.
Kenneth Walker, much like Brees Hall, is 24 years old.
he was a very frustrating player for fantasy managers this year,
sort of like Breece Hall as well.
Walker steamed up to like the third round for us in fantasy football,
like a three-four turn type pick.
Some drafts would go a little bit earlier in that, like the mid-third,
and we had to endure a very frustrating regular season
where he had sporadic usage
and way too much Zach Charbonnet
for fantasy managers to be comfortable with.
He had a career low in fantasy points per game.
But when it comes to Walker, we're fully back into him as a fantasy asset.
When we look at what he's been able to accomplish in the NFL playoffs, it's just been remarkable.
But Walker has that scintillating profile where you're talking about the home run hitting ability
and the ability for him to catch the ball out of the backfield where Walker is just like locked in.
If you can just give him a landing spot where he's going to get higher volume touches,
I think Walker is going to deliver in a major way.
Again, 24 years old when it comes to Walker, excuse me,
turned 25 years old, but still a young 25 when it comes to Walker.
And when we look what he's been able to do just in the postseason,
against the Rams, we saw him completely deliver.
But it was really that 49ers game that was special and different.
When Zach Charbonnet went down with an injury, and we saw Kenneth Walker step in and just have a dominant three touchdown performance, he had 116 rushing yards to go along with nearly 30 receiving yards.
He had three catches for 29 yards on top of 116 rushing yards and three touchdowns.
That was a legendary performance in a game that Seattle completely steamrolled San Francisco.
then against the Rams in the NFC championship game,
follows it up.
He has four catches for 49 yards,
another strong receiving performance.
And he gives you 19 carries for 62 yards and a touchdown score.
So four touchdowns this postseason to go along with seven catches for nearly 80 yards.
Kenneth Walker has gained a ton of steam back to his profile,
probably gained some really some.
redraft ADP value already with his performance.
And a strong landing spot this off season could put him in a great position to really
excel next year.
And fantasy managers would not have to worry about Seattle going to sort of a running back
by committee approach.
Now, Zach Charbonnet's injury is going to put him out for most of the 2026 season.
So could there be a possibility of Kenneth Walker staying in Seattle?
I think it's a much greater possibility.
that Walker stays in Seattle,
especially after his success in the NFL playoffs.
We're going to keep an eye on this situation,
but Walker is a locked and loaded asset for fantasy managers in Dynasty.
And if you're a redraft or best ball manager,
you have the green light for Walker,
because you know he's either returning to Seattle
or he's going to get into a role where the volume should be better.
There's going to be a ton of teams interested in having Kenneth Walker
as their new starting running back.
and there's a potential that the volume is going to be much more easy to sustain.
Walker comes in at number six on my list.
Now my number seventh ranked player is Alec Pierce of the Indianapolis Colts,
25-year-old wide receiver.
So I'm really valuing a lot of these players who are a little bit younger
because I think they have room to run with their profile.
And when it comes to Alec Pierce, he's a very interesting player
because he's gotten better every single year of his career.
When we talk about Pierce, he was a second round pick coming out of Cincinnati, took him a little while to get going, but the past two seasons have been very, very strong.
He became the first player in 20 years to lead the NFL in yards per reception in consecutive years.
And this past year, he had his first thousand yard finish on only 47 catches.
He goes over 1,000 receiving yards.
12.2 points per game this year, and it feels like he could take an even bigger step forward.
Again, only 25 years old, which is going to make him probably the most sought out wide receiver
on the open market this offseason.
There's a few other interesting wide receivers who we'll talk about in the moment,
but with Alec Pierce, he's a plug-in play wide receiver two,
and for some offenses stylistically, he could become a wide receiver.
receiver one, not your classic wide receiver one, but serving as an offense's wide receiver one.
I think he's got that sort of talent on a per route basis and the ability to get behind
defenses and put up major fantasy scoring numbers. Alec Pierce is a very interesting player to watch.
And if you want to have an actionable takeaway, Alec Pierce at number seven on my list, I'm
ranking them very highly. I think that he's the value to be had in dynasty, redraft, and in
best ball, Alec Pierce, wide receiver, Indianapolis Colts at number seven.
Let's take a quick break.
We come back.
We're revealing the rest of the top 15 and a couple of honorable mention candidates right
after this.
Welcome back.
Let's keep talking about the offseason's free agents to watch in fantasy football.
We talked about Alec Pierce at number seven, wide receiver.
But let's talk about Mike Evans at number eight.
So Mike Evans is 32 years old.
If we're trying to chase a who could be this season's version of 2025 Devante Adams,
it's Mike Evans of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
He's the oldest player that I have in this top 15 list,
but he's been one of the NFL's best and most consistent receivers
since he entered the league in 2014.
And in 2024, Mike Evans tied the record for the second most consecutive thousand-yard seasons in NFL history.
He only trails Jerry Rice on this one.
This past season was very disappointing because he only played in eight games because of injury.
Now, what does Mike Evans do this offseason?
Does he resign with Tampa Bay and retire as a Buccaneer?
I think that's probably what like a lot of people in the organization,
as well as the fan base wants to see.
But when you look at all of the wide receivers in Tampa Bay with Egbuka,
McMillan, on top of Chris Gaggobah.
who they re-signed last off season.
Do they finally move off of Evans?
And does Evans chase a ring elsewhere and sign with someone else?
If he does, he's going to be a very, very interesting player to monitor.
We saw the sort of contracts this past off season that guys like Devonte Adams and guys like
Stefan Diggs as well as Cooper Cup were able to get.
I think Evans will be right at that level of contract.
And when you look at the success that Adams and Diggs had this offseason, I think Evans is right there.
32 years old, but Mike Evans ranks at number eight on this list.
Number nine on the list is another 25-year-old wide receiver, and that's Wondell Robinson.
There's probably a lot of Giants fans out there that wish they would have re-signed him last offseason.
You have to wonder if their decision to pay Darius Slayton is going to affect their ability
to get Wondell Robinson retain this offseason.
But much like Alec Pierce, Robinson's going to have a very strong market for his services.
He's like positioned to benefit from a very thin free agent class.
And he serves a role where he can be a plug and play slot wide receiver
and a big time target earner, a big time first down getter,
a move the sticks type player for a lot of franchises.
He's had back-to-back seasons.
with at least 90 catches and at least 140 targets.
Very impressive stuff from Robinson was a former second round pick coming out in the NFL
draft.
So he's also got that high draft capital.
He elevated his game last season.
He hit on career highs in yards per reception, had 11 yards per reception, a huge improvement
from like his lower A-DOT seasons.
And he had 1,014 receiving yards.
He became the shortest player in NFL history to have a thousand receiving yards in a season.
Only 5'8, but gets a thousand receiving yards.
I think Wando Robinson is going to be super interesting for any of these teams that need wide receivers and have cap space galore.
Looking at teams like Tennessee Titans, looking at teams like the Washington commanders.
There's a ton of teams out there that have the cap space and are going to be willing to pay Wondell Robinson.
And I think that the market for him will be a big one because there's going to be a lot of teams looking at him and saying this player immediately helps our passing game.
And I think there's going to be a push for New York to try to make it happen and try to retain his services, especially with Malik neighbors set to start out the season next year, probably on the Pup list, maybe miss about, I'm guessing, about a month of the season before he's ready to go.
So Wondell Robinson, there'll be a significant market.
place. So those guys up until number nine on the list, pretty easy for me to rank. This next
player I'm putting it at number 10, and that's Malik Willis of the Green Bay Packers.
26 years old, Willis lacks extended starting experience, but he should draw strong interest
because this is an offseason where a lot of teams want to make us change at quarterback,
but there's not a lot of quarterbacks in the 2026 NFL draft who will be selected
in round one.
My guess is there's only one quarterback that goes in round one this year.
Fernando Mendoza of Indiana will be a very high pick, if not the first overall pick to Vegas.
And there's a chance one of these other quarterbacks could slide into the first round.
You know, someone could end up liking a Ty Simpson type quarterback.
Trinidad Chambleau if he doesn't go back to Old Miss.
But more likely than not, it's a single QB class with a bunch of teams that are looking to make a move.
And Malik Willis gives you a very interesting profile because he was a third round pick years back coming out of Liberty, fizzled out with Tennessee, but has served very well as the backup in Green Bay and has done well when he's been asked to start games in consecutive seasons.
From a fantasy football perspective, Willis is very, very fantasy friendly.
You're talking about a player who runs the 40-yard dash in the high four-fives, sub-4640.
and we saw the fantasy production earlier this, excuse me, the end of this past season,
where in week 17, fantasy managers who started Malik Willis in Superflex championship weeks were rewarded.
He was the QB3 overall that week, and he had three touchdowns.
So Willis gives you the rushing ability.
He gives you, he's only 26 years old, so teams are going to look at him as a bridge QB with upside.
Now, there's a bunch of other potential bridge quarterbacks available that made my honorable mention,
but all of those guys are 30 plus.
Willis is young and has upside.
There's been a lot of rumors that he can end up in Miami with this Green Bay Exodus,
a bunch of Green Bay decision makers there.
Obviously, we have the head coach who was a defensive coordinator last year.
Jeff Hathley taken over in Miami.
Willis can end up in Miami, but you look at a bunch of other teams.
Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Minnesota to compete with J.J. McCarthy.
We can go down the list.
There's several teams where, oh, if Malik Willis signs there, I'm interested.
Indianapolis, if they don't sign Daniel Jones.
A bunch of teams out there that could be interested in a quarterback like Malik Willis.
We'll call him a bridge quarterback plus because of his age and potential upside running an offense
and the flexibility he offers teams with his rushing ability.
Keeping this list going, getting below 10 here.
At number 11, I'm going Juan Jennings, wide receiver, San Francisco 49ers.
28 years old.
Now, Jennings projects to be someone's wide receiver 2.
Not a player that's going to get signed to be a wide receiver 1, but he's still a very valuable player.
He's a very versatile wide receiver, and he's capable of impacting the game in a multitude of ways.
had a late career breakout season in 2024, where we average 14 fantasy points per game,
led San Francisco in targets that year with 113.
If you recall sort of the missed games from Brandon Ayuk, the miss games from Debo Samuel,
Joanne Jennings just having a strong season that year.
And then this year, he followed it up with nine touchdown catches, a career high for him.
He's a capable blocker, and we know he's a trick,
threat. He has those two playoff touchdown passes. Jennings is very interesting in that regard.
We haven't always really seen it in the regular season. It's been something that San Francisco
used in the off season, but he was a converted quarterback, played quarterback earlier in his
career. So Joanne Jennings, I think, will be a wide receiver two for a lot of teams on the
open market. If teams are looking for a veteran wide receiver that they can plug in as their
wide receiver too. I think Jennings will be a very appealing player, 28 years old, and I think
San Francisco will try their best to get him back, especially with the George Kittle injury
on top of the fact that they're moving Brandon Iuke this off season. Jennings, I think San Francisco
will try to bring him back, but if he leaves on the open market, there'll be a number of teams
interested in signing him. Number 12 is Giovante Williams. Javante Williams had an awesome year
fantasy-wise. A huge bounce-back season for him. He regained a lot of his pre-2020 injury explosiveness.
Now, he's not as explosive as he was as his younger player, but he looks a lot like he has a lot more
juice now than he did in some of those last couple years in Denver. He had his best fantasy season
of his career by a wide margin this year, 13 touchdowns and 1,200-plus rushing yards. He had a
Belcow-like workload, pretty unsustainable workload of 287 touches.
Somewhere in the multiverse, Javante Williams had a bunch of belkow seasons like this,
where if he didn't get injured in Denver, he could have been a massive fantasy asset who's had
several seasons like this.
But really a strong year for Javante Williams rejuvenated his outlook moving forward.
Only 25 years old.
It'll be interesting to see how the market approaches Williams.
Now, last year, Dallas was able to get him for cheap.
Dallas moneyballed the position.
Williams took a prove-it contract in Dallas.
Now he might have priced himself out of returning for Dallas.
The franchise tag is most likely going to be used on George Pickens.
Now, it would make sense for Giovante Williams to sign with Dallas, stay there, and keep this ball rolling.
He was very successful last year.
But does he explore his options on the open market?
I think there'll be a market for him either way.
Much like Travis E.TN, this is a player that I think we're rooting for
to return to his current situation rather than chase money in the open market.
But at the same time, if some team gives Giovante Williams the bag,
we have now seen him bounce back, maybe he could keep this thing going.
But certainly, signs with Dallas,
I think people will enthusiastically draft him next year,
maybe to the point of overdrafting him next year.
And if he signs with someone else,
there's going to be a little bit of apprehension in the market.
We'll see most people sort of expecting a little bit of regression there.
But Javante Williams comes in at number 12,
a very, very interesting player for fantasy.
Number 13 is Rashid Shaheed.
Another player who, anybody watching this video,
listening to this on the podcast,
has seen Rashid Shahid help lead Seattle to the Super Bowl.
What an explosive player.
And it's great to see Rashid Shahid getting all of this attention for what he's been able to do in Seattle.
Was under the radar for much of his career in New Orleans as a state.
Rashid Shahid was a Weber State player.
So unless you're a Weber State fan, you might not have known about Rashid Shahid coming into the league.
Second most successful Weber State athlete in the history of the school, I would guess, behind Damien Lillard,
if you're a Weber State fan out there,
let me know if I'm wrong on that one.
But it's pretty much Damian Lillard and Rashid Jihad,
if you're looking for it.
Rashid Shahid in New Orleans averaged 10 points per game in 2023.
And then he had a sensational start to the 2024 season.
2024 was going to be his massive breakout year.
Clint Kubiak had that offense rolling.
And then a torn meniscus ended Shaheed's season.
Average 13.6 points per game.
This year, he gets sent to Seattle at the trade deadline, and he makes a significant impact for the Seahawks, especially in the return game.
In the playoffs, he's had three touchdowns in the return game.
So, oh, excuse me, including the playoffs, he has three touchdowns this year in the return game.
He had that 95-yard score in Seattle's blowout win over San Francisco.
I think Seattle is going to do what they can to retain Shahid, especially after giving up a third-round pick to trade.
for him. So they gave up a pretty significant draft capital to get him chasing this Super Bowl,
definitely rewarded by it. Seattle is, are the favorites in the Super Bowl. So no one's going to look
back and say bad trade. But if Rashid Shaheed only plays a half a season there and they,
they end up not being able to retain him, then I think that's a lot to pay no matter what.
Shaheed, I think Seattle's going to try their best to get him back. But I think there's
going to be a huge free agent marketplace for him. The playoffs have been very, very Rashid-Jaheed-friendly
here. And he offers you really strong upside because not only is he a fantasy-friendly asset
that can put up numbers at wide receiver when asked to, but he also has these explosive element
he brings to a team with his elite return skills. So keep an eye on Rashid Jehid comes in as my
number four ranked wide receiver. Now, number 14 and number 15 are a pair of tight.
ends. At 14, I'm going with Isaiah likely, Baltimore Ravens, only 24 years old. And I know a lot of
people out there, Isaiah likely, I'm sort of like an Isaiah likely truther for multiple seasons here.
And I thought we were going to get Isaiah likely taking over for Mark Andrews. When Jake Ferguson
signed with Dallas, there was all these reports coming out, excuse me, Isaiah likely 25 years old.
But when Isaiah likely this past season, like we were supposed to get the Isaiah likely contract.
Right after Jake Ferguson signed with Dallas, there was all this steam from the Baltimore media that likely would get a contract from the Ravens.
They would sign him to be the long-term answer at tight end.
And they didn't.
They actually ended up paying Mark Andrews, which now puts Isaiah likely in this purgatory situation where he's probably going to leave Baltimore coming off of his worst year.
as a Raven, but he still has so much upside as a pass catcher, and he's only 25 years old.
He's always been a natural pass catching move tight end, and so many times he's filled in for
Mark Andrews and flashed in like a major way. If he signs for the right spot, he can finish as a
tight end one in 2026. No question in my mind about that one. We'll keep an eye on sort of the market
for Kyle Pitts.
I think that there'll be a secondary market
for a few of these tight ends,
the teams that try to get Kyle Pitts
and are not able to.
And there's a pretty strong
tight end market in the NFL draft.
There's a number of interesting
pass catching tight ends coming up
in the NFL draft,
guys like Kenyon Sadiq,
guys like Eli Stowers,
certainly Justin Joe Lee of NC State,
Michael Triga Baylor,
but likely he still gives you some upside
because of his age and a little bit of room to run.
Now, I imagine he probably signs one of these short-term contracts
and gets a one-year-type deal somewhere,
maybe a two-year-type deal.
But keep an eye on Isaiah-likely.
He can make a fantasy impact.
Another player who's Isaiah likely a little bit of, like,
the enthusiasm and steam behind him is theoretical.
We say he could do it if he gets a larger role.
Well, with my 15th-ranked player, David Njoku,
there's nothing theoretical about it.
He had a steep decline in production this season,
battled injuries, quarterback inconsistency,
and the rise of Harold Fanon Jr.
It looks like David and Joku's Cleveland career is finally over.
But if we go back to 2023 and 2024,
he was one of the best past catching tight ends in fantasy football.
He had 145 catches in those two seasons combined
and 11 touchdown grabs in 27 games.
So like really strong profile for two consecutive seasons.
And he finished as a top eight tight end scorer in points per game in PPR formats in three straight seasons.
And his high mark was a tight end four overall finish in 2024.
If healthy, there is going to be a significant market for David and Joku.
There's going to be multiple teams looking at him as a short term answer at the position.
He's 30 years old.
But I think David and Joku, there's going to be a market for him if he gets a clean bill of health.
Now, I've got to talk about all of the honorable mentioned players that are heading towards free agency.
We've got you covered for all of these free agents over at fantasy points.com.
Expect for us to cover this a lot more as we lead up until free agency.
Consider this like an early rankings list.
Number one player, and I could have put him in the top 15 out of the season he just had, was Kenneth Gainwell.
26 years old.
We saw Mike McCarthy just hired by Pittsburgh.
I wonder if McCarthy wants to retain Kenneth Gainwell.
Arthur Smith also gone.
Arthur Smith headed to Ohio State.
So a ton of turnover there from Pittsburgh, from Mike Tomlin,
heading off, you know, is he done forever?
Probably not.
But Mike Tomlin not coaching the NFL this season.
And we have Mike McCarthy taking over.
But Kenneth Gainwell set career highs in multiple categories this year.
and was a locked-in fantasy starter for the second half of the year,
had over a thousand total yards.
The most appealing trait that he's going to bring to the open market,
he had 73 catches this year,
fourth among all running backs,
and he had eight touchdowns.
He's earned himself at least the passing down role
in a committee backfield,
and maybe a little bit more.
He could potentially lead a backfield next year,
depending on the team's system,
but most likely he is the past catching back plus.
He could remain in Pittsburgh, but he's greatly improved his stock if he heads elsewhere.
Another player who I really wanted to rank in the top 15 was Tyler Algier.
Now, I'm a little bit of a Tyler Al Jir truther where I think he could end up leading a committee backfield next year and being fantasy friendly.
Algier is 25 years old.
He's been the backup to Bejohn Robinson, who's one of the best players in the NFL, regardless of position, for multiple.
seasons now. But despite backing up Bijan Robinson, he still found a way under multiple
offensive coordinators to contribute. He has a thousand rushing yard season under his belt in
2022, and he scored eight touchdowns this past year. Tyler Al Jir, let's keep an eye on him
for teams that are looking to do it cheap at the running back position. And I'll circle a few
teams right now. Let's look at Jacksonville if they don't retain Travis Eton. Let's
look at the Tennessee Titans if they want to bring in a younger back and move off of Tony
Pollard. Let's look at the Washington commanders with Tyler Al Jazeer. And let's look at the
Dallas Cowboys, where if they don't retain Javante Williams, do they end up sort of running it
back and continuing this moneyball approach with a player like Tyler Algear? Al Jir, only 25 years
old. I think that the touches get better for him in 2026. Interesting player to keep an eye on.
Now, Rico Dowdell also makes the honorable mention list, 27 years old, had a terrific year for Carolina this year, and Dowdell has consecutive thousand yard rushing season.
So he's had back-to-back years with 1,000 rushing yards in two places, Dallas and Carolina.
And he averaged 12.4 points per game or more in both of them.
So if you've drafted Rico Dowdell in consecutive seasons, he's been an ADP winner back-to-back years.
played the best fantasy football of his career in the middle of this season.
He had 3 28 plus point weekly finishes.
He was just awesome.
If you're able to pick him up on waivers this year, was very impactful.
Obviously, he came back down to Earth towards the end of the year,
but I anticipate he's going to be signing elsewhere.
The word on the street is we have Jonathan Brooks getting healthier.
Chuba Hubbard is already on a big contract in Carolina.
I think RICO Dattle getting another contract from the Panthers,
It's obviously the door is not closed for it, but it seems a little less likely if Brooks is healthier heading into the offseason.
Plus Trevor E.TN still in the roster. There's a number of other backs there.
So keep an eye on Rico Dowdell. Could he be in play for Dallas if Dallas moves off of Javante Williams, a return there?
Keep an eye on Rico Dattle, interesting player. Another player who is heading to free agency and it's just been very unfortunate for his entire career.
the guy's always injured, but he has talent.
He contributes to an NFL team.
And it's J.K. Dobbins of the Denver Broncos.
27 years old, J.K. Dobbins has had so many lower body injuries.
This past year, he had a strong season for Los Angeles in last year.
Then signs with Denver this past off season.
Ends up being a major, looks like a major ADP winner.
14.8 points per game in 4-7 of his first five games of the season.
And then his season was derailed by another.
injury. He's missed at least four games in every season of his career besides his rookie year,
but keep an eye on J.K. Dobbins. Now, let's get to a couple of non-runningbacks here.
Quarterbacks, let's talk about Aaron Rogers, 42 years old. It would not be an NFL offseason.
I got one more running back after Rogers, but it would not be an NFL off season without at least
some interest in Rogers taking over someone's vacated QB role. He's been the quarterback 19 and the
quarterback 23 in points per game over the last two seasons.
52 touchdown passes in those two seasons combined.
He could retire, but if Rogers wants to give it a go, there's going to be someone
interested in him.
Could he return to Pittsburgh with Mike McCarthy, his former head coach?
Could we reunite the two?
How about Minnesota?
Like, never say never when it comes to Rogers.
We'll keep an eye on him.
It's always a circus, but he's an interesting one.
another player running back, interesting one,
sort of a post-type sleeper, a chance to bounce back in a new situation.
Rashad White, who's 27 years old, has 204 catches in his NFL career and 25 touchdowns.
And that's in four seasons as a pro.
His peak was in 2023 and he'll never return to those numbers where he average like 15.8 points per game.
He was the RB10 overall.
Obviously, Bucky Irving took over for him.
last year as a rookie.
And it's been sort of a downhill slide for Rashad White.
But I think there's going to be a market for him based on his past catching ability.
There's been a number of rumors linking him to the Washington commanders.
He has connections to Jaden Daniels.
And that would make sense for Rashad White to sort of take on that same role that we saw
with like Austin Echler two seasons ago.
Keep an eye on Rashad White, 27 years old.
A couple of quarterbacks to mention, guys like Marcus Marietta,
guys like Joe Flacco, these sort of players are not really fantasy relevant,
except in deep superflex formats.
But there's multiple, again, we bring up how weird this offseason could be for the
quarterback position.
If teams get boxed out and need some sort of a bridge,
or if teams end up with a rookie that they can't trust,
like a second round pick,
let's say someone takes a Ty Simpson and they want an older quarterback to sort of have a bridge
before he's possibly ready to get on an NFL field.
Guys like Marriota, guys like Flacco are break glass in case of emergency type options
for teams that simply want to change.
And we'll keep an eye on teams with a yet established young quarterback
where the QB2, it could be a viable plug and play.
Maybe we end up with a Jacoby Brissette type outcome.
Jacoby Brissette also a free agent this offseason.
So keep an eye on the Brissettes, the Flaccos, the Marcus Mariotas,
A number of these players could be very interesting on the open market if a team needs a bridge quarterback.
Never say never.
If you have them in deep dynasty formats, hold on to them.
Probably not players you want to draft in early best balls, but in Superflex early best balls worth a dart throw,
especially in a tournament type format.
Debo Samuel comes in as a, like the last wide receiver we're going to talk about.
30 years old.
Debo Samuel traded to Washington last offseason.
and slightly improved on his 24 numbers,
but he fell to a career low in yards per reception.
Downside of his career,
but he can still offer value as a wide receiver 2 or wide receiver 3.
We covered a ton of free agents.
This was a lot of fun.
