Hey, what's up? It's John Hansen. Let me ask you a question. Did you pick up and start Sean Tucker
in week number six? No? Well, guess who did? Mr. Adam Kaplan, and he's here in the podcast to
rejoice and brag a little bit about it because that dude scored two touchdowns off the bench.
Kaplan is in the chair for the week six review podcast here on the Fantasy Points podcast.
It was another pretty damn good week. Made a couple of mistakes.
but for the most part we the hashtag analysis was pretty damn good yet again so
buckle up here hang tight for an hour of review and you know we'll talk lessons learned and
mr. C has plenty of other little tidbits for us here on this pod so thanks for checking it
out give us that five-star review and as always you are welcome here we go back with another
edition of the fantasy points podcast I'm John Hansen we are coming out
of the Sunday action in week number six and none other than Mr. Adam,
Kaplan, get ready to be happy America.
He is back in the chair with us.
Adam, another good week, really.
I mean, a couple of things we got wrong.
We'll talk about it.
But overall, I thought the hashtag analysis, a lot of the stuff we talked about on Friday's
show was kind of pretty solid here.
What did you think of week six?
It was interesting.
There's no question about it.
It was fun for those of us who have been destroyed by injury.
I've got a great story for you, which we'll get into, which I text you about.
And I approve of it.
I'll put it on the screen.
I was digging deep.
I went through the FantasyPoints.com's rankings.
I was looking for any kind.
I was looking for eight to ten points.
I didn't care who it was.
I was looking for a one-week situation.
Yeah.
We'll get into that game.
I don't want to give it away.
I don't want to bury the lead.
But I want to just give you a little.
of something I did was really smart.
You've got a couple really good moves over the years.
Like lately, you know, in the ACI, you've had a couple like, wow, you know, like in the
after the fact.
It's understanding rotations and stuff and all going to, we're going to get, part of why
I come in there is for education and it's stuff that you're not going to get anywhere else.
It's stuff because I have access to coaches and how they think and how body types.
Hey, this guy can't handle this many characters.
we're going to put the other guy in.
Absolutely.
Give you a hand.
Give you a big hand.
And I took a shot in the dark.
And I roll double sixes on something.
And I would say 10 years ago, I wouldn't have known how to do that.
That wouldn't have even occurred to me.
But just sitting in and listening to coaches explain things to me and how to be smarter about evaluating players and so forth for what we do.
Yeah.
As you see a voice, you're not going to get them all right.
It's impossible.
But if you could just be a little bit smarter with these one week.
week wonders or one one week players.
Sure.
Absolutely.
You up the percentage the more you understand football.
That's why I'm bringing this up.
And I'll tell you,
well, I'll segue into, you know,
wrapping up week number six.
I've learned some lessons with the prop stuff,
like getting behind stupid plays.
So my accuracy,
my accuracy has been so much better
because I'm not trying to steal a win, basically.
And I'm still doing a little bit.
Like I tried Luke McCaffrey
Not to throw
Not to throw Brett Whitefield under the bus
But he kind of planted that seed
Well hang on what
But they decided it was going to be a Sekees game
The analysis was good
Yeah
Yeah
So you know
Eliminating those type of picks in terms of like
Recommendations
You know I think goes a long way
But let's uh
Let's start with the Chicago Bears
kicking off week number six
At least the Sunday action
across the pond and they get it done and you know in my sunday column i did have calip
williams as you know a matchup to exploit kind of talked him up a little bit he comes through i
actually had cole commit there as well if you can believe it he came through but so did he was a
longstop what's that he was he scored a long step what a game for him good for throw in there
yeah and then um i actually said and i i i did play a prop a couple places roma dunzae would make at least
one big play. So we got things right. And we didn't like the matchup per se for DJ Moore
coverage-wise, but I didn't like it last week. And he crushed, but he did get, he fell victim
there. I'll tell you what. DeAndre Swift is back. I don't know what the hell we were looking at
the first couple of weeks. I know. Yeah. The first two weeks were terrible. Now, I got it, first of all,
and not to take anything away from Caleb Williams. Shout out to their offensive line. Holy smokes.
So they give him all day. Yeah. Caleb's very efficient. Now, see, here's the thing about Caleb
boy. I thought Kurt Warner did a great job. Yes,
protection was great, but do you see him go through his progressions? One, two,
three. He wasn't doing that in week one or two.
So he's ensuring. They have a really good pass target group. I mean,
they're so deep. Joe never can't get the football. Right. Oh, yeah. They do
too many guys to go through. So Rochon Johnson did a real nice show. He didn't score,
but he got his chance to score. He just didn't score. But he's clearly involved. He's going to
get goal line carries. Very
encouraged. If you have Caleb Williams
you're starting two quarterbacks, you have to feel
good about it because
their past our group is so great.
They pass-protected so well.
Caleb's got a shot. He's seeing the field
better to move this along here. He's seeing the field
better. That's very important for
a young quarterback. The processing is way better.
I liked him more than
Jaden Daniels as a pick.
I did like Jaden Daniels. He was
if you read my last draft plan article,
actually he drafted Jaden Daniels on one of the teams.
I did like him, but I just thought Caleb was a little safer.
We'll see. Obviously, we'll get to Daniels. He's been brilliant. But for the Jags, they get Evan Ingram going back in a big, big way. It wasn't a great schematic matchup for Kirk. And I wrote that today in the article. Not a great one for Brian Thomas, but what are you going to do? And it didn't take long for Ingram to come in here. So all of a sudden, he's back. Tighten one one. He's like a top six guy.
And he had a fumble. But yeah, he was super active. There would be like there was like one series. I think he might have caught three passes in a row. Brian Thomas just missed a touchdown, by the way.
Gabe Davis dropped one, caught two.
ETN looked bad before he got a he as a hamster injury.
Biggie got bench.
What's that?
You got benched.
No, he actually had a hamstring injury.
Oh, I thought he fumbled.
Oh, okay.
Yeah, he, what I thought he was benched too, because I had now have him.
I made a trade for him.
He didn't fumble.
Bigsby fumbled.
Okay.
And I think some guy is, I don't name I didn't recognize recovered, but here's the
Yeah, Biggsby Fumble, it wasn't a loss fumble.
Yes, yeah, I think they recovered it.
But here's the thing we're learning more.
We kind of know this, but we're learning more and more.
On these bad teams, if you have the running back, you're not going to get volume carry.
It's hard to get volume with bad teams.
Plus, down there for rotation, Bigsby because he's more physical.
Remember, ETSM got the goal line carries last year.
He was one of scoring, and Bigsby couldn't score for his life.
He couldn't convert.
He had a couple.
Don't let the numbers, don't let the yardage fool you.
We actually, Biggsby had a couple nice plays.
It was seven for 24, but he had some short yards carries.
He had a nice eight-yard carry.
But they're an absolute train wreck.
ETIN is hurt now.
So it's hard to play him.
Gabe Davis, he did score twice.
I can't use him.
No, you can't.
Lawrence was certainly trending toward a bad performance,
but, you know, not a bad one for fantasy, really.
He runs for 17.
He throws a pair.
No, he was, he'll probably, he might be a top 12 guy this year, or this week.
I had some other, oh, it just goes to show when you're talking about running backs and volume.
You do want to try and pick the side, you know, and for example, our guy, the bra, I was going to call him the Brawley.
It is, we are late here.
The grinder, Tom Brawley, like that, DeAndre Swift, the under prop.
And I got it because the Jack D. is good, but I thought the Bears were going to win.
so and fair not easily but I felt pretty yeah the bears are winning so I'm like nah I'm not
gonna do that because if swift gets some carries late that's exactly what happened yeah I thought I thought
actually it's funny I thought Rochon would be the closer it was interesting they kept Swift in it
you know last year with the Eagles all the sudden became a volume running back this he's never been
like that it's hard to understand this is sort of an anomaly based on his career but it is what it is
So, yeah, it was actually the point, it's funny, the totals, boy, if you're a totals player,
and if you bet, totals went way open.
The last couple weeks are going way over.
I went, and I don't bet, but it's funny on a Swartz where it's got to look it up.
I think I went like 11, 3, something like that, which is hard to do.
Usually not that good, be honest with you.
I think we're starting.
It's on fire.
Yeah, sure, sure, shash, shaget.
Oh, exactly.
We're starting.
but the matchups were so
it was so obvious a lot of these games
yeah they were
and boy they clean up
yeah yeah here's another word
pretty obvious not everything happened
DC falling to Baltimore
30 23
you know
Derek Henry we said hey I mean not to
not to sound like a broken record here
but he's going to do it again
so he was one of my props over
easy win now
Zay Flowers wow I mean
You know, I wrote this morning that, you know, the coverage data didn't look great, but the actual matchup was great, you know, and it could be a shootout.
Yeah, they've no one could cover.
I mean, unbelievable game for Flowers.
I just don't see, you don't see this every week.
It's not an every week thing.
It's not like Cooper Cup or something.
You know what I mean?
He is a little matchup resistant here, don't you think?
Flowers?
Yeah, in fact, I asked you and Brett in a live stream to start the season.
I was like, guys, why are you so down on Zay Flowers this season?
You said basically maybe the matchups or the way that the passes are funnel.
Anyway, yeah, he's been up and down.
Right, right, exactly.
He's been up and down.
Look, the Andrews big play was a fluke.
They didn't cover them, but you'll take it.
The other thing is you've got to understand.
They're playing so well now.
They've won four in a row.
The passing volume with Jackson's going to be low.
That's just, they're not, they're going to be a low-volume team.
going to lead you could there's no chance they're going to throw the football it's just the way it
it none and oh henry's running for a thousand two thousand this year for sure what's that henry's running for
two henry is running for two k i i for sure you and i loved him i remember you because you brought it up
on our show in the spring you go you know i kind of like henry i said oh i love him this season
you know based on what i'd heard the set and the other and then i went up not drafting my
oh i got him a lot did you did you really yeah yeah a lot of ffpcs nice oh i
I'm crushing on a lot of my, you know, picks.
Okay.
Yeah, he was my guy.
Like I said, I said the reason I'm willing to take, I was all about running backs,
and that's actually not gone all that well, but I'm saying the reason I'd be willing to take
like Lamb or Tyreek is because of Henry.
Barkley, but more so Henry, if I'm at the top of round one, because Barkley wasn't making
it back to you.
But Henry probably was.
So that was like, that's it.
Okay, that's kind of one of my plans.
If I don't get a runnerback, if I, it just flowed that way.
If I was like a four or something, and it worked.
You know who I loved in this one?
Zach Ertz, I was all over the prop, nailed it.
And I was scared S-Less because he didn't have a damn catch or target in the first half.
I'm like, what the hell's going on?
And then boom, boom, boom, boom.
But yeah, Jaden Daniels, absolutely the real deal.
I lost the McLauran prop by like four yards.
I mean, come on.
What are you going to do here?
Six catches.
I mean, yeah.
It's like,
I won an Echler prop.
That was easy.
It was like over 22.
He hit it on the first catch.
First series he gave me out of the 25-yarder.
He,
the problem is without Robinson,
they can't run the football.
They just don't have anyone
to go run it.
Exactly.
That's why I liked Echler and Zach Hertz.
Yeah.
So look,
the cool thing is you know that Daniels is going to run.
That's,
you know,
I told you that in the spring.
This is the way that Cliff Kingsbury coaches.
He wants his quarterback to run a lot.
particularly in the red zone. That's going to happen.
This was the least running game, though, of the year.
But, yeah, he was a clean game.
Still six carries, yeah. He actually, yeah, he was second in carries for the team.
But they were behind. What's that?
Yeah. No pick, though.
Yeah, yeah, you didn't turn it over.
So he had a good day.
He did, consider, especially considering, hey, the opponent.
I know Bowler's not good against the pass, but they need a better pass-darker group.
They got to help McClorin out.
This is, they can't do it now.
I mean, maybe they'll get involved.
in the Adams race.
I've heard that they've not been to this point,
but maybe they get involved in.
They probably didn't think they'd be this good so far.
We'll see what happens in two weeks,
but let's not forget,
they're in an IA good at the draft,
so maybe they've got to do something at receiver.
You know, and one thing, you know,
I have been,
I think I won McLauran last week,
but it is like pulling teeth on the yardage ones.
Maybe back off, because, you know, Noah Brown,
they do super, Noah Brown.
It was out there a lot.
You know, eight targets.
Sechias was active.
Kind of spread it around.
Frickin McCaffrey.
So, you know, he starts over Sekeas.
Right.
Right.
I'm 0 and 2 on Luke McCaffrey prop.
So I retire.
Oh, yeah.
That's what you were saying earlier.
I'm trying to steal, yeah, a couple of, still doing it a little bit.
But yeah, I got to stop that.
Because when I actually go with a prop that said like C.D.
Lamb today, granted, he barely hit it.
But 88.5 long, you know what?
I'm in.

Speaking of Studs, how about, and I lost this prop by three damn yards, but how about our guy, Jordan Love, 340-58-4.
That pick, I don't think, was his fault.
Watson looked great on the touchdown.
the Dobbs play on the Blitz was unbelievable.
You know, this was not even a great game for him,
and he still crushed.
Yeah, and Wicks got hurty at a shoulder injury,
so that's we'll have to see.
You know, Muskrave went on IR,
so Tucker Kraft is the guy now today.
They were on a medium-pass volume game
because they had such a big lead.
But, yeah, love sees the field so well.
And Jane Reed is an absolute stud.
I know he didn't have a huge game,
but he's just all the great start.
are really good football player.
I was shocked.
I mean,
I won his prop,
but I was stunned.
He actually did not do more.
Well,
it was over over four or five and a half or four and a half or five and a half grabs.
Oh,
oh,
I'll catch prop.
I'm sorry.
I thought it was yards.
Yeah,
yeah,
I know.
I spread about.
Sometimes it's,
when I say props,
sometimes it's the catch.
Sometimes the yardage.
I've been doing a pretty good picking the right side of those.
Although not winning them all.
But yeah,
how about the Melton?
Shout out to the Melton family.
friend of the podcast. We had Gary Melton on, did a whole podcast with him in the spring,
saw Gary on TV with his wife, the Melton boys up against one another. Unbelievable.
Max Melton.
Were they, but do you see Max covering Bo?
I don't think that happened, but they were on the field together.
Yeah, yeah, I know.
I was a team.
So a couple more things before we move on.
Watson actually, well, I would call it a drop.
I thought there was another one in the side of the end zone where I thought he should
have had it.
but then he had a beautiful week for your catch i remember that yeah and i'm wondering if romeo dobbs
deciding wasn't going to go to practice two weeks ago i wonder if that helped him get two touchdowns i have
no idea oh well they kind of mended the fences yeah and you know both sides i believe realized like
you know they they need each other a little bit like wicks got he needs a team uh yeah i thought
dobs was like a really good dude before this i know i told you that when he was drafted the word i got
very high character kid.
Right.
Yeah, I don't know.
I don't know, man.
That's a weird thing for a young guy to do.
I know he's, you know, he wants, you can get a new contract after the season,
so I'm sure he wants the ball.
But, man, they're so deep.
And Jordan Love was an absolute stud.
He's everything we thought he would be, you know?
Oh, yeah, baby.
I didn't, I'd never stop.
Be happy if you got him.
Be happy if you got him.
I mean, that was the value pick.
No, Jane Daniels was the pick, but we'll see if he can make it.
Love was the,
Just rock solid money in the bank.
Let me ask you a question.
This could help me and everyone else who's got this dilemma.
Should I just start love over Hertz going forward?
I have this thing in at least one of the week.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You know, that's a big ask, but I think we've seen enough of love
and we've seen enough on the negative from Hertz to feel that way.
Yeah.
Okay.
I mean, I had Hertz over today.
His yardage.
He hit.
I had Brown as one of my top five props.
He hit.
Thankfully, they threw one late.
You see that?
Yeah.
Very late in the game,
they threw a nine round.
I don't know why.
Yeah, I did.
I did.
Real quick, this,
not to bore people
who've heard the story,
but it is a great story.
Bow Melton and
his brother, Max,
I grew up with the father, Gary.
I moved an hour away
from where we grew up
down the shore area to Philadelphia.
Well, years later,
about, I guess it was
Obviously,
it was like 12 years.
years ago. My daughter was performing at a half time of a high school football game, my local
high school here in Haddonfield, New Jersey. And so I go to the game to see her perform at
half time. First high school game I'd been to in 25 years. And who was it against our old town?
And Gary was the coach. Watch the game. The quarterback was my Bay Bruce coach's son.
same guy who turned me on a fantasy football
who called me an hour before his draft
to tell me that he's got
and this is only like three years after he coached me
in Babe Ruth baseball
so that's a small world
so after the game I see Gary
Gary was undrafted
went to Rutgers just like Bo and Max
and you know did a month
two months in D's training camp
with Joe Gibbs in 1987
I think it was 87
no it was like 90
after the game I see Gary and I said well Gary
Gary I've scouted your kids out I'm an eyeball test guy
and I've got I've got the answer he goes like what do you think so Bo would have been
Beau was probably about 15 and Max was like 13 playing on varsity I said well first
of all they're both better than you correct and I said second of all Max is better than
Bo Max is a better athlete he's going to be a better you know and not nothing against
Bo, but Max ended up being a second round pick, and Bo was a seventh.
So that's the story.
But great family.
Yeah.
So I've met.
As an undirected Frasian, I think the dad, Gary was with the Seahawks, right?
No, Washington, D.C.
Redskins.
Oh, okay.
It was one of them.
Redskins.
He was with Joe Gibbs.
Oh, yeah.
Over for the Cardinals.
I thought some people who haven't heard that story might appreciate that.
Especially if you were watching Red Zone because they kept showing them today.
It's a great. It's an unbelievable story.
And by the way, the mom was an athlete, track, daughter.
Also, yeah, one of the most athletic families in the country, to be honest with it.
How about Tray McBride getting it done, thank God.
Yeah, Marvin Harrison, man.
What's that?
Like McBride.
Oh, did he?
He's, no, he, he stayed in the game.
I was like, uh-oh.
Do you have a Charlie?
I think about it had a Charlie horse.
McBride is like Braveheart, man.
And that guy's like a warrior.
It's so funny.
I don't have many of my leagues, but I like watching him because he's a pretty good athlete.
He's a good player.
Oh, I love him.
I love him.
Oh, yeah.
He's one of those guys that said I would take early as in the tight ends because, you know,
I have this awful history of reaching for these athletic tight ends.
I get him, never get them right.
Yeah.
I get one right.
He, I'm getting right.
Oh, I would have taken him, but everyone beat him to me.
But anyway.
I got him in the FBI.
Okay.
Here's the problem.
Again, bad football team.
Connor can't get volume.
You know, Benson got some garbage carries, but look fine.
He had a 20-yarder.
But the problem is you can't pile up carries on bad football teams.
It's just, it's.
No.
Yeah, yeah, that's true.
Yeah, this offense is so weak to weak.
Harrison had a concussion.
I thought it was.
In five minutes into the game, that killed you.
Right.
I thought that Kyler would do a little bit more.
And that's why I lost a prop, but Jordan Love.
Although, here's another problem.
On the V-SIN program that I'm doing now, I went eight and two again, like absolutely murdering it at like 88% for the last four weeks, like incredible.
Damn, I got a thing.
Oh, I got a prop.
Oh, yeah, dude.
I am, let's see, last three weeks, it would be, I think the last three weeks, I'm like 25 and five.
Are you serious?
I'm like, yes.
Oh, man.
And do you publish this on the website?
I assume you do, right?
yeah um yeah i do they're a little different they're a little different okay they're a little
different on the set on the site no your boy's been on fire yeah i gotta get them man i can use a cash
cool i mean i i'll let you know if if i feel like i'm losing my grip on it but i've been
the last going in the last four weeks three weeks at least i've been like you know what i'm
really feeling this man and just if you want to be set a set a country
record. Eliminate those off-schedule ones. Who is it McCaffery?
Exactly. Exactly. That's exactly it, man. I can do a whole podcast on that whole phenomenon.
I've been waiting all year for this, actually. But we'll move on. One thing. Benson's a guy
you want in Dicee League now. Trade for him because they're going to be a bad football team. People
are going to be down on. He moves well. He popped off a couple today.
He's going to be a man next year. He's going to be the man. Go get him now. You should be able to
get him for a song and a dance, even a song.
Anyway, you can say then.
Let's go to the game of the day though.
Who's the man now dog?
Well, the two.
Which one's that?
Well, I was going to go to Tampa.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
All right.
All right.
Mr. C.
Q the Kaplan cry.
All right.
Goes to his waiver wire today.
He had tears streaming down his face.
I went to.
Looking at the scatastic options.
So exactly.
So I'm like, all right, I need a two-man backfield running back.
And I've got three running backs in a couple of leagues injured.
Stevenson, McCaffrey, somebody else.
I don't know all my teams have run.
You need to start hitting on some guys.
Yeah, exactly.
So I'm like, all right.
Like, Miles Sanders, eh, blah, blah, blah, blah.
I'm like, you know what?
Sean Tucker is going to get at least eight to ten characters because
Bucky Irving's too small.
He's only 200 pounds.
Tucker's got 15 to 20 pounds on him.
You know, I'm like if they could hang in there.
I'll get my 8 to 10 points.
And I showed you the proof I said it to you.
Oh, my God.
To holler at your boy today.
Oh, is that the greatest feeling, though?
It's like, that's like a drug right there.
And this is a coaching thing.
So coaches I've gotten to know over the years, you know,
when they have a smaller starter,
they want to supplement that with a guy who's physical,
who's bigger.
Take on some of the hits.
Right, to rotate both.
That's exactly what I was hoping.
It's going to be, by the way,
they're going to have a two-man back
for the rest of the season anyway.
whoever's available.
And quite frankly,
if Rashad, once he gets healthy,
continues to struggle,
Tucker might be in the rotation
when he might get something out of him.
But this was, he was phenomenal.
The catch for the touchdown,
I mean, he was out there in space
and they didn't really cover him, but I'll take it.
But so what else?
You know,
you know me with my eyeball hot takee
first impression things.
When I first looked at Tucker,
he ripped off.
a run at Syracuse and I'm like
He's explosive man
I mean I know I know this is going to sound
insane
But I'm like
There's a little Bo Jackson over there
He's kind of like
He's real
He's compact strong
About 2 15-ish
And he would have been a fourth round pick last year
Had he not had the medical condition
So I
So let's give you a teaching point
So what does this really mean
When you're struggling for running back
Gov and I usually don't spend
20 minutes on one play on one on running back i i i i i'm sorry your life my injury this is 35 years i've
been playing this thing 35 36 years old 36 years doing this thing i'm like i can't compete if i don't
fight a run i need 10 points i and i went through all 32 teams man i was obsessed i was like i'm gonna
get down the middle i'm like i'm not at miles sanders to start i hope and it was the no it was
the um league you and i did in philly the uh host league three i think
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, so it's like, I got to do it.
And now I'm never going to cut Sean Tucker because I started him at Irving.
No, I would have tried Tyler Algear.
I don't know, but he's not available.
I'm guys who are on, oh, I know, I'm just saying.
I'm just giving you some other guys I would have, I probably would try Tyler Goodson, Tyler Goodson.
No, I would try him.
He actually got 10 points.
I thought Sherman, I thought Serman, the lion chair of the carers.
I mean, he sucks, man.
Yeah, he didn't do well.
But Deontay Foreman.
Right.
But the problem with Philly's run defense, you never know what you're getting.
You could have done it with Damien Pierce.
Because he's been hurt.
Oh, I'm just saying, no, you made the right choice.
But there were others.
He's a problem with Pierce.
And I'd lost that one last year in our dynasty league.
I thought I nailed that two years ago.
Look like I hit a home run.
And then he sucked.
Because he doesn't fit for his own.
He's a gap runner.
Some limitations there.
So I'm not cut.
But man, what a game.
So if you have Tucker, I'm sure.
I might be the only person to do this.
Why would you pick him up?
Unless you're really going to think it through.
He's, if you look at their runners,
he might be the best pure runner of the group.
So let's see what happens.
I can't promise you anything.
But let, I mention them in my,
I'm not cut them in my column this morning.
I did mention them.
I did mention them in my column.
That juice, man.
You saw him that carry.
You'll get some, you know, I'll get some opportunities for sure, for Shizzle.
What else do we learn?
Godwin is assault in the slot.
He was, he was, he's a best vertical slide I've probably seen.
Vertical slot's a guy who plays inside but doesn't run short area stuff like your typical
slot receiver.
He's medium to, he can do the short stuff, but he's more intermediate to long, right after the case.
He's just an unbelievable football player.
Yeah, we totally saw this coming.
I had him ranked at five.
He was one of my top five props.
No, I want to give you guys props.
I was sort of in the middle with him.
And you reminded me that he's going to play inside this year, and I go, okay, it's done.
It was my last NFFC draft.
I think it was my last one.
I'm like, I'm taking him.
I'm absolutely taking him.
See, this is what I love doing shows with you because you remind me is stuff I totally forget about.
And if you don't remind me, just mention it.
Just mention it.
It's all you need to.
I'll remember it.
When you're a fantasy person like me, you're just like a greedy bastard.
You're just looking for anything.
That was a great call.
I think you and Brett brought it up in a, like,
live stream.
Yeah.
We had our cheat cheat, not to
Tudor and Horn here, but
you know, got some guys wrong for sure.
But man, there were a lot of them that I'm like way
over 80P.
You know, he's headed for about
124 to 126 receptions.
I couldn't believe more people
weren't on it, honestly.
It's quiet.
It was honestly.
Now, Evans, of course, with
Latimore, you know that was going to be a
He got hurt, though.
I believe he got hurt.
And he left the game.
And then also remember...
He was on the Skang Squad this week, so we're not surprised.
Yeah.
Also remember the kid with a concussion.
And then McMillan?
No, no, McMillan came back.
I didn't see.
He had one target.
He had Palmer of the concussion.
So it was a Godwin game.
And it, honestly, I don't care what the data says for matchups with him.
I'm playing them in our what.
I'll never bench this guy.
No chance.
No, props made me he might back off.
But for fantasy starting a lineup, this guy,
And he also sees it in the red zone, too.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, oh, oh, yeah, absolute.
It is an absolute Godwin game.
You're right.
That's what we said.
On the other side, I didn't know what to expect with Spencer Rattler.
I mean, it's a little all over the map here.
You get a couple of nice throws.
Yeah, a couple of those.
Yeah, not hopeless.
Man, Alave gets a concussion early.
That was just horrible.
Man, Rashidjeejeeh is fantasy torture at this point.
He's the torture man.
I mean, he really is.
You're like, God, I can't take it.
He's just absolute torture.
I mean, how many people out there raise your hand
if you're just guessing wrong every week on Shahid,
which kind of that's been me, I think, this year?
Who was that player in the years past?
Not Derek Carr.
We're talking about, like, skill position.
You could never get it right.
This is impossible.
Yeah.
Someone really bad, like really would kill us.
I can't remember.
We just throw our hands up.
Like, we're done.
You can't get it right.
It's impossible.
Right.
You're talking about one specific guy.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Not Alex Smith.
No.
Was it Mike Furry?
No.
No.
Who was your crypt today?
Alex Smith?
Was that Alksmith?
Well, D.K.
Metcalf is my script.
Okay.
Decaf.
Okay.
Well, you brought that one up with those so funny because you can never forget out
with him.
Yeah.
Yeah.
No, I was calling him decoy Metcalf.
Oh.
Because he was like a decoy.
Yeah.
Yeah, got things.
Oh, yeah, maybe we did that too.
You did, no, you did.
Oh, man.
We did, we did.
We've had some good ones over the years.
What else do we learn?
I mean, here's the thing.
Their offense, they've been kind of figured out since week two.
The first two weeks, they were great.
They never, Philly.
Shut up down.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Well, speaking of Philly, what happened in the bizarre press conference with,
apparently Nixir and his kids there answering questions?
I just saw briefly on Twitter.
And then someone in the,
the media, I'm not going to say who gave him hell for bringing his kids there.
Well, he is, he is an unorthodox guy.
You know, he did, I don't know.
He's a weird guy.
He does things that seem unaprored.
Like, I lived in his, he lived in my old hometown and very close to me.
And apparently he kind of walked around a little bit like just a regular old guy, which is
weird.
Okay.
It's just different.
I mean, it's not saying bad.
I'm just saying quirky.
Quirky.
Let's get.
So what do we learn?
today. You know what's funny? Watson, as bad as he's been, he's one of the worst
quarterbacks you and I've ever talked about in our years to 21 years doing these shows together.
I'm sure they've been worst quarterbacks. I don't have a car, but we got hot late.
He did. He had a hit a couple of throws. It was like shocking me.
It was like, there might be hope for Cooper in this game, but, you know, he, Cooper didn't score.
You'll take it, though. You'll take it, though. He's playing with like 90 injuries. He's,
he's all beat up, but you got your Jerry Judy play. As soon as I was like,
I was like DeCaprio.
When he made, I was like, I was pointing.
I was like DeCaprio.
Kaplan called it.
I mean, that was a great, that was actually a beautiful play,
but that was his only catch.
Because the Eagles changed their nickel.
Cooper, Gene, the rookies now their nickel.
Right.
They benched Avanti Maddox.
So I was hopeful, but it's just.
You're at the mercy of Watson.
I know.
Let me ask you a question.
Would you trade Omar Cooper?
What?
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
I've been saying that two, three weeks ago.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Well, I mean, you know, it seemed like Hertz played pretty well.
It seemed like a little lifeless out there, but what did you say?
To the ball a little bit.
I'll have to find out what the tape looks like.
God, it got hurt.
Yeah, what's that?
Goddard got hurt.
Got hurt or like second series.
He was a trade away guy for me last week.
Yeah, I told you.
I brought it up on that show.
I said, you need to trade him away.
It'll never happen because Hertz is, Hurts will not throw it in the middle of
field. He actually had two today.
Yeah.
One, two, Calcutera, who filled in, who's a pretty good athlete.
Right. Yeah. Yeah. Devante had, that was great. That was actually a really well-designed play.
It's a nice play for.
That would bail you out because he doesn't do well against man-heavy teams, and he wasn't doing well until that.
No, it was quiet. It was just a really well-designed play. They ran interference around
them, did free him up.
You just chalk it up to a bad game for Barclay?
They shut him down completely. He couldn't. He had one nice 10-year run. That was a day.
I give the Browns, the story with them is to be, you could run on them.
The Eagles couldn't run on them.
Hertz said, don't let the number full.
You actually had a very, like three or four really nice runs today.
It was 14 for 33, but remember, they had a couple short, you know, the tush push and so forth.
So, yeah.
Game will actually had a couple nice plays.
Yeah, yeah, saw that.
It's disappointing.
Hertz has been disappointing.
No question.
Yeah.
Not a cheat code.
Real quick, we skipped Houston, New England.
Hey, Drake May.
Look at that.
Beginning's luck.
You know what? He made no film on him.
Very encouraged.
I was kind of, and my guy,
my guy, Pop Douglas, man.
Here's a question.
I'm just going to ask it. Is he an every week?
Pop it off the screen.
I've got him in the, in the FPI, and I don't start him.
I know.
I haven't been scared to start him.
I am now because I started a Giovante over him this week, so I am going to be
starting now.
Javante.
Now, we should be known that Houston had a bunch of
defensive injuries that they came into the game with.
A couple guys didn't play in the secondary, but I'll take it.
So what your point was
well taken early. I know it's very simple, but it's well taken.
There is actual hope with young quarterbacks like May
because he's got such a strong army.
What's a scatter shot?
Like Bo Nix?
Not a lot of tape on them.
Teams don't necessarily know how to slow him down.
So she'd program them well.
Now, I know it's the first game.
Teams will have tape, but I was very encouraged because, boy,
one of those touchdown passes, I didn't see all of them.
but one of the booty was amazing.
Booty, yeah, that was good.
Booty is a ball.
Booty is a bowler.
My prediction on Booty was he'll either.
Yeah, my prediction when, because I interviewed Booty.
And my first question, of course, is it booty or Booty?
Exactly.
And he didn't laugh and he said it was Booty.
I'm like, okay.
Moving on.
I said he'll either break the franchise record for most receptions by rookie,
I believe held by Terry.
Glenn or he'll get cut the first week.
It says like the guys like all over the map,
but he's potentially, I mean, he could have been like neighbors like at
LSU, I believe.
You know, like maybe, maybe a notch below that, like a tick below.
But yeah, but really like a blow.
I mean, he had like a 300 yard game in college.
I know.
I know.
You got a couple of things.
You've got to be really encouraged if you have mixed and come back for the ankle
injury. I know, you're gambling.
He's an older player, but he looked great.
No question about it.
It's getting a little bit harder.
getting it done.
What's that?
Diggs is getting it done now every week.
So you're settling and you're feeling good.
I had Tank Dell as a by low last week.
That's looking good.
I love that he led them in targets, number one, number two.
I'm slightly, I know it doesn't look good for Dalton Schultz,
but he still was second in targets with eight.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I think ultimately he's just not that good.
Yeah, he's not an athlete,
but he's his own seam runner.
That's because he's just, that's where he lives.
Exactly. That's why I don't really like them this week against them.
Pat's play a lot of men.
You can forget about Cam Acres.
Now that Pierce and Mixing her back, he's out of a role.
Agumbo Wally's their Jack of All Trades.
He's the Jack Doyle of running backs.
He's Mr. Fixett.
You know, that's what he does.
Yeah, yes.
He just love him.
I believe he also does some plumbing work there for a clubhouse.
So Strall, look, it's getting a little bit harder.
it's getting a little bit harder for him.
He's still good, though.
He's good.
Without Nico, it's crushed.
It sucks without Nico, but they still have Diggs, Dahl, Schultz,
the kid of Hutchinson.
It's good enough.
It's good enough.
But Diggs, as you said, he's still a baller, man.
Wow.
Do you get it, Doug.
Back to Douglas.
Yeah.
Yeah, I think we've gotten there in a 14-team league.
we've gotten there. And, you know, with by weeks, we might be there for a little while.
I mean, when you really look at it, he's had, you know, he's had three good games and two bad games.
I'm just encouraged, though, that he led them in targets with a new quarterback. That's, that's,
I know it could change the next game. But Douglas starts for them. They're going to be behind in most
games, if not all of them. And that's, that bodes well for Douglas and targets.
exactly yeah so he's had he's had nine targets in uh three of his last four wow pretty good
yeah that's pretty good yeah i feel like an idiot now for not stoning him in the uh fpi um and then i guess
we'll see about romandre i wonder how close he was he's more week to week from what interesting
you remember when i said the last show i said it right yeah i knew he was in playing i was like i don't feel
good about it.
Sort of, it's sort of like ankle foot
injury. When I watched the video, I was like,
uh-oh, he bent that.
By the way, I think now Drake
May can inject some life into
Hunter Henry because you got a guy, like I said, movement,
bigger arm, tall move guy.
Sure.
That helps Henry, man.
Henry is a same guy, too.
He had a 30-yarder.
He had a 30-yard catch. He had a six-year-t touchdown.
But I was encouraged, yeah, I mean, you're right.
And he also, by the way, May round the ball five,
times which is encouraging it's only one game look he could bleep the bed next week you can go you go 15
for 45 for 120 you know what i mean like nicks but well you know let let's give it a month
and then we'll start gathering up some date on his cut on his coverage shells and we'll maybe be a
bit predictable with them right now it's still week to week uh let's go uh indy tennessee this one here
good like pollard spear spear's got hurt a little bit yeah
Hamstring for Spears.
Yeah.
D. Hop, I wrote this morning.
I'm like, hey, man, dude loves Zone.
Like a yink, like he loves it.
And, you know, he did lead them away.
I wrote.
Dude, Levis had 27 attempts, 95 yards.
He's terrible.
Yeah, he's terrible.
Ridley, 0 for 8, man.
Oh for 8.
You know, they're passing interest to go through him.
And I'll give Brian Callahan,
in credit. He didn't shy away from
the question about really getting the football. He's like
he's got to, he, you know
how coach you say, well, this happened. Mason Rudolph is
coming. Yes, but
not yet, but he didn't shy away from
really getting the football.
How could you leave the team in targets have zero
catches? I mean,
that's not going to do well for a step. I've never seen that before
my last. Seriously, I've never seen him before. Oh for eight,
man. I mean, I could go
of O for A for A. Absolutely
train, right. Yeah, yeah, they are.
At least Pollard's hanging in there.
Yeah, he's the man.
He's their lead back.
And for the Colts, you know, it wasn't as easy this week for Borough Flacco, but they kept firing.
He did, but he caught.
So I watched a lot of the game.
Boy, did he get off their great start?
Then, wow.
Timing was off.
And then Alec, Nine Rout Pierce.
If he doesn't run a nine route, he's got no chance.
He cannot throttle down.
He just, that's why.
He's a white D.
He's a white DK.
Well, that's what I told you with D.
He's a WDK.
He's a WDK.
your dk.
Although DK's getting better with,
you're not great at it, the shorter stuff,
but he's getting better at it.
Pierce simply cannot function if it's not deep.
It's just he can't.
That's it.
Yeah, I know.
Josh Down.
How about Pittman?
How about Pittman play?
Josh Downs flashes, man.
He flashes.
Yeah, he's a really good football player.
He just gets hurt a lot, you know,
because he's a smaller guy, but he's a baller.
And Pittman, give him credit with that back injury.
That was pretty impressive.
The Goodson kid, he got,
run because sermon was atrocious
less than two yards of carry. Yeah, Goodson's got
pop, man. He's got some dude, you're right.
I saw him. Yeah.
You know, A.D. Mitchell, it's still
just not really happening there.
And I think bro flacko,
we got a fledgling burrow mask
between bro flacko and Moe
O'A Cox, former jazz singer.
Joe likes to run to the tight ends.
But I was good. If you're
Josh Downs person, this is
very encouraging. And you know,
Richardson didn't take a lot of reps
Friday. So that was kind of a, as I understand it, that, that was kind of a tip off that it was
going to be Flacco. I would not cut Flacco. If you're in a two-quarterbacker league and Richard's one
of your players, quarterbacks, do not cut Flacko. Do not cut Flacko. No. I've got him in that
Philly draft league that, I believe that's a 14 team. Yeah. And by the way, I don't, I don't know
when JT's coming back at running back. I have no idea. Oh, I mean, this is bad, man. This is really bad.
Well, Chargers, Broncos.
Being a bad.
Oh, lad.
I lost a Ladd-McConkie prop by three damn yards.
He had a ball to-in-v-v-a-game.
What's that?
Combini Vadal prop.
Did you have?
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Receiving?
No, I'm just kidding.
Yeah, but they were spreading the ball around in this one.
I was like, Fahoko.
What?
Yeah, they did.
Yeah.
Fahoko, you.
Yeah, Simi Fahoko, from, he was drafted by Dallas, I think.
I think that's the guy.
Yeah, he was.
Was he out of Cal?
Go ahead.
Where was he out of Stanford?
Yes.
Some teams thought he'd be a tight end,
but the story to hear is Dobbins, man.
I'm just,
I'm so happy for the kid.
I don't have met on any of my teams.
I just think it's a great story.
For everything he's been through
and he never got to run.
He's a hard-nosed,
he's a hard-nosed guy, football guy.
You know what I mean?
Like, he's a professional.
Who does he remind you of running style?
Anyone?
Hmm.
He's got a little Emmett there.
Stop start vision runner?
Okay.
He's more, he's actually, Emmett.
We're one of the best runbacks of all time, but.
Stop start.
He wasn't really stops.
He had a little stop start.
Emmett was.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, he did have stop start.
Well, who's he reminded you of?
What's that?
I don't know.
That's why I'm not sure, but his ability to accelerate.
It's just remarkably.
He's had an ACL and an Achilles.
Emmett was kind of like that.
Not he, but Dobbins has got juice, man.
He's, uh, yeah, he's the man.
But he wasn't, Dobbins wasn't a big time.
Good, Juice guy though.
He looks good, man.
He was like a four, five, 40 guy.
Yeah.
Look, forget it, Giovante, first number one, I get it that, that, uh, their defense has been
carrying them, but Nick's, folks, I think Knicks had like 80 yards through three quarters or
something.
It was.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Half time, it was like, is he going to get to 40 yards?
Right, it was so big.
He's, look, he's very limited.
He threw a touchdown with his college team,
and Troy Franklin, that was nice.
And that Vell kid, who was benched,
who was healthy and active,
then he has a couple of big catches.
So there are totally offensively.
Let's just call it.
They are.
They need to get,
get Troy Franklin on the field.
He's a nice kid.
He's a nice kid.
He interviewed him.
Pretty sure he gave me the COVID at the combine.
Yeah.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure Troy Franklin gave me COVID.
It's nothing personal.
Why would you say that?
Because I interviewed him for 10, 15 minutes a foot away from him.
And then he got, apparently got COVID or had COVID at the combine or something.
It didn't work out.
And then two days later, I got, I had COVID.
It could have gone around.
Oh, no.
I'm not blaming anyone.
I would not, you know, whatever.
Even if he did, like, okay, dude, it happens.
Anyways, they need to get him on the field.
Let me ask a question.
Would you trade Sutton?
Nick's doesn't see the feel well.
Would you trade Sutton away?
He scored.
I mean, I wouldn't mind, but otherwise I wouldn't sell off just to sell, but I wouldn't
mind trade him.
But otherwise, he is the only game in town.
Yep.
You know?
It's so weak to week whether or not.
I thought maybe the running game was shown.
Now, look, you got to give credit to the Chargers.
like the the young guy who took over for the DC Jesse Minter yeah he's pretty
freaking good man yeah he came from Michigan you know like their defense has been damn good
very competitive they're not very talented they're doing a great you're right it's a great scheme
and great execution oh boy this is the charge organization that had like huge names on
defense and they sucked I know hardball is the shit yeah he's doing a good job
um yeah and Herbert actually kind of came out and threw
in this game, which I thought was interesting.
Yeah, Vidal had the touchdown. I mean, you can't count on that.
I mean, Vidal might want to be in the, with, what's his name out?
With, uh, Gus on, on the Gus.
Vidal is the handcuff at this point.
Vidal, I watched him at the senior ball.
He was a senior ball guy.
He could catch it.
I actually said that before the game.
I was like, damn, look at this.
And he actually did it.
He caught a wheel route touchdown.
We didn't like Quentin Johnson.
Although Pat Sartan got hurt.
Yeah, yeah, he had a concussion.
His agent actually has flakoff.
How about that?
Oh.
And Sean Tucker.
Huh.
What are the chances?
Oh, Joe Linton represents El Tucker?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Oh.
All right.
Look at that.
Well, let's go to Pittsburgh and LV.
Hey, big, big day for Justin Fields.
Wow.
And this, and I did write this, I believe.
Not passing, it wasn't, but running it was.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Fantasy.
But this, you know, this could be like what Naji Harris needed.
Like he looked great.
He had that 30.
46-yarder.
Yeah.
Like, just keep pounding them, man.
Yep.
If you want to know why Warren didn't get carriers, it's simple.
It's a coaching decision.
Harris is way better.
It's called coaching.
You just go to the guy who's hot.
Naji actually hit it up in there.
Decisive downhill.
Their line, Zach Frazier left with an injury.
They're down three linemen.
I give them credit.
Jesus.
They're another team.
If they get a lead,
they ain't throwing the football.
They want to be so low volume passing.
They do not want the quarterback to be a factor
throwing the football.
They want to win.
That's why I wrote.
Yeah.
That's why I wrote two weeks ago like, hey, what's that?
You're looking for a number two running back for freaking dirt cheap right now?
I would submit to you, Najee Harris.
I know you feel like you might.
I did this last year when he was in the doldrums and he was pretty good.
I mean, it wasn't like a league winner, but he absolutely filled a hole for you.
But yeah, I mean, the weather gets cold.
They're O line.
They're blocking.
It always improves as the season progresses.
George Pickens, eh, you know, a little
overwhelming here.
Calvin Austin's a factor.
I could have sworn Fryer Meets scored
unless I'm tripping literally.
No, he did not.
Okay.
I mean, maybe taken off the board,
so not much else going on.
But, yeah, Fields is going to keep that job, right?
Oh, if they win, you don't lose your job when you're winning.
They're four and two.
Yeah, and look, it's not his fault.
It's like Pickens.
Frymouth have been a total non-factor.
Austin's help them.
Yeah, that's not true.
Frymeuth has been a factor.
Not much.
He's been pretty good.
He's been a lot better than I thought.
More consistent.
I'm not saying he's blowing up, but he gets like 40 yards every week.
Is that something that?
It's better than Kyle Pitts.
I know.
Is Kyle Pitts still playing?
No, he made a play today.
I'm just, I'm out.
Another guy I'm going to miss on.
He did he had 10 points in PPR, but he's never going to blow it.
I'm convinced he had the one big year he never blown it.
Let's move to that game.
Yeah.
Well, Brett figured it out.
I got some.
Brett figured it out.
What's that?
You know what the problem?
Here's the problem with Kyle Pitts.
Yeah.
He's like, D.K.
He's, he doesn't fit.
You, you want to be Deontay Johnson.
You want to be a smaller, quicker, lateral stop start, you know.
And he's just some big throwback type of guy out there.
Some big lumbering kind of athlete that it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like,
compared to these little jack rabbits he is.
I guess.
It's just,
I'm just so disappointed.
God,
it's just disappointed.
It's like putting Will,
Wilk Chamberlain out there.
Ball,
Will,
go.
Yeah,
I don't know,
but there's a one,
let's get to the,
let's get to the Algier Robinson situation.
The game was out of hand.
I mean,
the Algerian is closer because they got big.
My only problem that I've noticed,
I don't have Robinson on my teens,
but I take a lot of notes when I watch games.
It's just, you know, if I'm a situation like this with you, I could help people.
One thing that's really bothered me about Zach Robinson, it's a small thing, but it's actually, it's an issue.
If you have Robinson, a Bijon, they have this weird deal where it's like a third and three, right?
Well, that's not a running situation.
It should be Bijon.
They still have Algerian.
Right.
It makes no sense.
If a third or three or more, coaches think that's a passing situation.
Algear should not be in unless it, unless it some sort of, for some reason, let's say the front that they're,
if they think they could just run over team, okay, fine.
I know Carolina.
Did they run on the play?
Do they run on these plays?
Yeah, they're running, but he's also in.
And the thing that really bothers me, and I notice this, inside the 10, they've had Algier on situations like that.
We're clearly, Robinson's explosive playmaker, third and three, I got to have a play inside the red zone.
why do you have Algeria?
If it's third and one, two or one, yes.
Go for it.
Third and three or more faith in Alger.
What's that?
They have more faith in Alger.
They have more faith that Alger can get five yards on a carry.
Yeah, I don't know.
I don't know.
I'm going to look at it.
Hey, we're not complaining.
I had Bijian as like pretty much my top got a trade for last week.
And I mentioned the matchup coming.
He looked good.
He looks good.
His acceleration is just, it's otherworldly.
It's pretty, pretty cool.
But Alge, here's a factor.
They're going to play both.
It's going to be one and a half to one split.
That's just the way it is.
Situationally, Zach Robinson is still trying to figure out what's the best usage of Robinson.
He doesn't have it.
He doesn't know it yet.
He's working through it.
Robinson is still doing really well.
He's not doing quite as well as I thought he would.
He's scoring.
But I wanted more catches.
I was expecting more usage out of the backfield.
We're not quite getting that.
But I just want to bring that up.
Here's the funny one.
is this Chuba Hubbard, you can't be serious with this guy.
I mean, you know, guys get better.
You know, he was pretty damn good there in college,
the year before he came out,
the year before his second of last year,
and I guess he was injured and all that.
So he does.
He gets guys,
sometimes they just grow and they get better.
That's a good job.
And by the way, you know what it is?
Their O line is like top five now.
They're good.
Well, they just lost Austin Corbord for the season.
I know, I know.
But they were good.
in this game. They were good.
Yeah, they hung in there. Dalton
had his issues in the game. Deonté
looks good. You know, you know it's become more of a
factor because they were matchups at
Chitavin-Sanders. Yeah, I see
those. I don't know if he'll ever
score, but matchup
wise, he's tough to cover. He's pretty
athletic.
That's it. Yeah, I went a little
overboard with my ranking. Well,
you know, I had Deonté a little lower this week.
I had him low last week and he crapped the bed.
But he is, I love him.
He was on my list.
I think the mistake, one mistake I'm making is going a little too heavy on these schematic
matchups that are negative.
When you have a guy like Deonté or Drake London, I had London at 14, which is not bad,
but lower than normal because they're not a great schematic matchup.
But these guys are good and they're the ones and they're getting capable quarterback play
from a couple of old guys.
You know what I mean?
So they're not bad.
Pitts goes for 70.
London's been good, man.
London is real solid, like real solid.
Yeah, and look.
Mooney dropped a touchdown potentially.
You see that?
I saw it.
I saw it.
He had, he gets, he also gets wide open.
I'm not sure why that is other than he can run.
He's a separatist.
Yeah, he just has to, he has to do a better job.
He has never had these issues with, with the bears.
But they also were, they were not thrown the ball a lot.
And then there were a couple third down situations, even when they had the league.
they threw it. I was like, all right, they're just trying to move the chains and not turn it over,
but they didn't have, like, Kirk just had trouble getting to a rhythm. I don't think he was
particularly good in this game. Yeah. Yeah. They won. I mean, they still scored a ton of points.
What's that? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, not bad, not a bad game of analysis. So, I mean,
it was all about Bishon. I kept saying, I said, I said on our live stream, I said, if Bs John doesn't
have a big game, then someone needs to call Jody Foster and make room for me in the panic room,
because I'll be full on panic.
Look, he's been good.
Don't get me wrong.
Again, I'm trying to help people understand the situation
and how coaches think.
It's personal groupings and situations.
On a third and two, who do we have in?
Which running back?
Third and one, it's going to be Alger.
Third and two, more often that's going to be Alger.
Third and three or more, it should be Robinson.
I don't know why they're not doing that.
That's the one thing that's missing from this often.
It's been a trend, I've noticed, just watching.
But anyway, it's got to be.
a little lack of faith in them.
I don't know. I'm going to look into it.
Next time I do this and I'll see if I can get you an answer.
Oh, and last but not least,
the game went over the total, but my God.
Oh, my God.
Do you know, ready for this one?
Yeah.
Last four home games, including the playoffs,
guess how many points the Cowboys have given up?
Last four home game.
Well, they gave up 47 today.
167 in four games.
Oh, what?
Yep.
I put it on Twitter,
people going out of their minds.
Well,
how old's Mike Zimmer's new girlfriend?
What was she, like, 26?
I don't know, man.
I'm not sure if he spent a lot of time
and working on the playbook.
He stinks anyway, though.
I mean, he's,
the game's passed him by.
All right, let's get to what people care about.
Dak was terrible in this game.
I'm so disappointed in him.
What the hell?
Man, brutal.
CD Lamb hit his prop.
And I complain about close losses by one yard.
Oh my God.
I would have been livid.
What happened?
I got the CD Lamb prop was one of my top five props.
And I won by one yard.
Oh.
It was over 88.5 and he got 89.
Wow.
Yeah.
I'm just so disappointed.
On 14 targets.
How does DAC in a game you're getting blown out when they keep you
and late even when the game is not close.
Then they finally pulled him out for rush.
Don't throw a touchdown.
There's an interception near,
in plus territory.
He sucked.
They can't run.
I lost the prop.
On who?
On deck?
On deck?
Oh, yeah.
Because I thought it would be a blowout, shootout, and he would throw a lot.
And, yeah, he was all there.
So they didn't have the ball.
They were terrible.
They were so out of it.
Brandon Cooks would help, but they're just off.
and here's the thing let's get to
Detroit. And Goff
was it great again. If they keep
blowing teams out, it's like
those of us who have JMO or
I'm on rot,
just like to get the ball off.
Well, unfortunately, the
Aden Hutchinson situation is going to be
a big blow. I mean,
hopefully for them,
this is something that they can all rally behind it. It can actually
be a whatever doesn't kill you, makes
a stronger thing. But man, he
I never met the kid, but he just seems like such an exceptional dude.
You know what I mean?
He's a great player.
He's a baller.
He's a great guy.
The Jaguar should have taken him over Walker.
That was a mistake.
Oh, so stupid.
Yeah, he's, um, here's the problem, you know, with a broken leg.
I don't know when he's going to come back if at all.
But let's hope that, let's hope there's nothing else than that.
It's like an Alex Smith thing.
No, well, let's hope it's not bad. Let's just hope it's two months, whatever.
Here's the problem for them going, I'm a big line supporter.
They have no one else who really could rush the passer.
I mean, Josh passed.
They were getting it in this game, they were.
I know, they killed him.
James Houston could play a little bit, but I'm talking to fill in for him.
Trade deadline, baby. Trade deadline. Trade deadline.
I know, I would say that on Fox Sports Radio. They're going to have to.
What's his face? Mr. Haddon Township, New Jersey.
Hassan Reddick.
Yeah.
What they have to figure is cut.
Someone's got to get him.
I call the Raiders for Max Crosby.
What will take?
Yeah, man.
I would do it, man.
I'd give up a one for Max Crosby.
Oh, hell.
What are you kidding?
I would give up.
I know, I know.
I guess he's, how old is he now?
How old is he now about it?
He's a baller.
Okay, you're right.
He went to East of Michigan.
I don't know where he's from.
I don't know.
Oh, my God.
Now, you're right. He is insane.
Look, see, the way that front office people,
do they look at every bad team. It's kind of like a fantasy.
You look at every bad team. Okay, what's it going to take?
What do I have to do?
They're looking at other team rosters just like we are when we're making trade.
Yeah, I'll tell you. Call the Titans for Harold Landry.
I would start if I'm...
What is it, Brad Holmes?
Yeah.
I'd start calling around.
I remember, I'll give you a real story before we get out of here.
Doug Williams has ever seen personnel for the...
It was for the commandos many years ago.
And someone got hurt.
I don't think it was Alex Smith.
I don't think they played the Eagles when he got hurt.
But anyway, someone got hurt.
And he's sitting right behind me.
He starts calling agents at halftime.
I was like, this is crazy.
I can hear him.
Wow.
What are the thing I've ever seen?
I was like, poor guy.
It's like he's actually calling agents during the game.
That's crazy.
Yeah.
Wow.
All right.
Well, and yeah, that's it.
That's a wrap.
Don't cut Sean Tucker
If you get him, do not cut him
They might, he might actually
Yeah
By the way, I did call that
Granted, he only got one catch
But I did call Leporta finally
Breaking out and scoring in this one
Nothing better than winning.
We were back, we both back, I wasn't going to do it
Because there's no way, it's not that it's a fluke
What do you have, 10 touchdowns?
No, no, I'm just saying about
Laporta having a game today
We only had one catch for 52, yeah.
I know, but it was,
was a big play and he hit his prop on one patch oh did it i also i also see i just won a joe burrow
rushing prop he has two carries for 57 yards right now uh i love it you got to love sports
although i did i did lose another one but you know a lot more wins and losses here uh and i'm sure
mr c i didn't go into jerry judy you got some of your list i need the money it's on the site
every every saturday man you just told me you're 20 out of your last 25 Jesus
Folks, cash it with Johnny Fitt.
25 out of my last 30.
That's insane.
I want this documented on my, I want to.
It is.
It is.
No, it is.
It totally is.
And by the way, I'm doing like specials, Monday night, Thursday night special.
I've hit eight out of 12.
That's incredible.
People still do you hell on Thursday.
Like they own on Twitter.
I love when they do that.
They're such dicks.
I mean, they love get on your game.
I actually get a kick out.
I'm sorry.
I get a kick.
I know.
I know.
People on Twitter drumming nuts.
what's that it does but no I mean yeah but no I'm in I'm in full de-gaff mode at this point and it's a good thing
full de-gaf mode see this is why you're doing a great job I see my this is why Kike Hernandez when he
said on the air I don't know if you heard it he said that that they don't give a F live on the show
live on the post game after the oh he is Ken Rosenthal asked him he's like uh what makes his team
different and he's like long pause he's like are we live and he's like smile he's
like, because we don't give a fuck.
And I was like, oh my, what?
And I'm like, if the Dodgers win the World Series, it will be because I blew my mind.
It blew my mind.
I swallowed my tongue.
I was like, no, I expect me to win it.
Well, they're up to nothing here.
Whole world series, yeah.
I picked them.
I knew the Phillies wouldn't hit.
They didn't.
Oh, yeah.
It's frustrating, man.
When you're, you know, that's the Dodgers, you know, in the playoffs every year.
So every year you'd lose in the playoffs.
It gets to be a bit much.
It does.
But anyway, well, anyway.
If you won't be back next Sunday, I should be available.
I mean, we'll, uh, we'll call the bullpen.
This is like going to the bullpen for like, you know, like Bruce Suter, you know,
Dan Quisenberry, you know what I mean?
Like, like Steve Bedrojan, Al Holland, Tug McGraw.
And Darren Dahlman, Mickey Morandini, balls out of here.
there you go. We are rambling now. All right. For Adam Kaplan, I'm John Hanson, this has been the
