Multiple years in a row, guys, we've done this, the three of us drafting.
Abe and I put together a beautiful build the other night, Scott.
I hope we can emulate that one.
That might be first and second.
overall, with respect to all of Abeeb's other teams that he's entered in this contest.
Guys, we're picking out of the fifth spot tonight.
Fifth spot tonight.
It's a great spot.
Abib, how do you like in the fifth?
I think at this time of year, given the way the board and ADP, the way ADP is currently set,
I like the middle of the board right now.
I think we're in prime position to be able to kind of lock up some key players and have our picks as far as the guys that are our guys.
So I think those first five rounds this year are pretty critical of really like landing the right wide receiver in that, you know, round three to four range and round five range as well.
So I don't know, I like it because I like the fist pick.
We can do a lot a lot with this.
305 is awesome.
It's the second round that could be a little tricky depending on what we do in round one.
Uh, and Scott, we're not doing this live so we can talk openly, correct?
That's right. Yeah. Okay. So we're pre recording pre recording this, this made event.
Yeah, this is this is like work. We can. This is wonderful. We don't have to say this guy in the
queue, but yeah, it's always tricky. Part of me likes the, uh, the rush of doing live made events here.
So, uh, no surprise here. We see, uh, Jameer Gibbs going off the board at the one, bejean at the two.
we're going to see jemir gibbs i mean excuse me jimar chase at the three i would be surprised if we
see anything different here and there we go so guys we're two picks away we talked about puka
and brock bowers in the pre-show uh i think um whoa whoa okay whoa we got a wild one here guys
jonathan taylor goes off the board at the 104 um listen you know uh you know
I'll defer to you on this one.
If you want to go Puka, we can go Puka.
We're going to get a wide receiver in round three for sure.
Bowers is special.
We might miss out on Trey McBride in round two.
And Scott doesn't like Colson Loveland in round two.
It's up to you guys.
I'm okay with Puka or Bowers here.
I thought we would have our decision made for us,
but we're OTC and we can pick which one.
So I'm okay building it either way.
Your guys call 28 seconds.
I'm Bowers or Amon Rock would be my.
Okay, so then.
Yeah, then let's do it.
Let's do Bowers.
Scott.
Oh, I'm the one picking.
Well, he said about he's, I think we go Bowers.
Christian McCaffrey because I disagree.
I think Christian McCaffrey is the way to go.
He's stiff.
He's old.
And Bowers is not stiff or old.
We're getting loose with 20 points per game in regular PPR.
Abee, you're a medical professional.
You're a doctor and I'm not.
Yeah.
What is, what is 20 points per game in regular PPR equate to in Titan Premium?
I'm thinking like 20.
26, like 26. I think this could be like 25, 26 points per game. So I'm excited about this. And
listen, it's, we had to have a Brock Bowers team, Scott. We've done too many of these teams together.
This is my second one, actually. My Jacob and Ryan Heath one, I think Bowers fell to us.
So Ryan Heath forces me to go. And listen, Ryan and I built a nice team of Bib, but Ryan had me go, like the one flag plant. He had me go old man King Henry in round two over Trey McKeith.
Brian. But with Scott, Ryan will take cool pass catching tight ends, but he doesn't do it with me. So
shout out to you, to you, Ryan Heath. I love the start guys. I love getting Bowers. It sort of opens us up
to whatever we feel zero pressure at tight end. But if we get a really good tight end, it's like a luxury
that players in our flex. So I love getting Bowers here. We see Puka go at the 106.
And then on Monroe. So where will Christian McCaffrey go here, guys? Hey, for those at home,
we were expecting like the old streams, me to bully Theo into getting my way every pick.
You're not going to see that. You're going to see a much more mild-mannered Scott Barrett.
Why? Because we have the great Abeeb Agbatova on two-time winner of what is now called
the FFPC Big Gorilla. He won it in back-to-back years. That's $1 million.
And so this is one of the best fantasy players of all time. And so, you know, it's a great
great honor to share a team with them, have him, uh, you know, as a co-host of this team.
And, and I'm joined by as well, zero time winner Theo Greminger has.
Okay. First of all, first of all, I have more, I have more number one overall finishes and
number two overall finishes in high stakes events than the entire fantasy points, uh, current staff.
So let's let's let's put that out there.
I, and Scott, people thought that I was bullying you last time on this show.
Like the, the amount of the amount of, the amount of, the amount of, the amount of,
of people were very upset about the way you were treated when we did the last main event.
And I'm like, this is what we do when we draft teams. We talk about it. We argue it out.
I will say this. If you make me draft Travion Henderson again, I'm going to pull a Bud Dwyer
live on stream. Okay, so 705, Trayvon's off the board. If he's at the seven, the seven,
five guys, I can't take Trayvon Henderson at the 705. The 705.
If you want to see a Bud Dwyer live on the fantasy points, YouTube. There goes Christian McCaffrey
after James Cook.
We are going to be picking at the 208, which is you never know what you're going to get
of the 208.
This could be a running back.
This could be Trey McBride for a Bowers Trey McBride team, which would be really fun to have
in a contest like this.
Scott, have you changed your tune a little bit about Colston Loveland?
Or are you still taking the no Lovelins in tight end premium stance?
Well, I wouldn't have even taken Brock Bowers here.
I would have much preferred Pooka Nekua.
because it's just my best teams, and I've had some great teams with less volume than you, Theo,
and all those teams really faded the tight ends in the first four rounds and then loaded up
rounds six through 12, taking more of a quantity over quality approach. And so like in a
in a PPR home league, like yeah, it makes sense to, it's kind of the chump move, the rookie move
to draft tight ends early. But from my experience in FFPC leagues, I think it's optimal.
to take more of a quantity over quality approach.
And so, yeah, I would be passing up Colston Loveland,
but I would really be targeting, you know,
in the middle to late rounds.
Like I think this is the entire edge this year.
I really do.
Is Harold Fanon, Sam LaPorte, George Kittle,
give me as many of those as possible
and then give me Kincaid, Dallas Goddard,
Terrence Ferguson, even later than that.
And I really think that's the number one biggest edge.
Tucker Kraft too.
Scott, Abe and I took Kraft the other day.
with our team.
I think he's a little bit of a winner here.
Am I going to take him?
He goes right next to Harold Fanon.
And the whole edge in this is receptions, right?
And so perhaps amazing,
but he's more of a touchdown yak guy,
whereas Harold Fanon's really the PPR scam
to me, Titan premium scam.
I talked about this with Abee the other day.
Scott, I haven't talked to you about this.
I mean, I guess we have talked about it a little bit,
but Chase Brown is now ever since the Genti injury,
is chalk in the first round.
In NFFC and an FFPC, he goes 12 in this one.
Where are you at on like Chase, Chase Brown?
Where are you like placing him?
It just feels like if he does did, if he does what he's done the last two years,
like 16 points per game, 15 and a half points per game at this level,
then it's not a great pick.
He's got to do what he did in the splits with Burrow.
And I think people are paying for that 20 point per game split.
Are you good with taking him there at like the one-two turn?
I think that's fine.
You know, last year in the second half, final nine games,
the average more fantasy points per game than Bijon Robinson.
He's behind only Gibbs and CNC.
And so, you know, that's his upside.
That's the excitement.
But I have Devon A-chan higher.
And really, this is just like a super tight tier with A-chan and
Kenneth Walker in it.
I don't disagree.
I mean, we talked about the on-off splits.
Samajee's preseason usage and Abib had a great line.
Is this like the worst, you know, just pure talent we've ever seen from a round one pick?
And it's like, it's up there.
I mean, he was always like a bottom 33rd percentile talent by the efficiency metrics.
I will say in that second half sample I cited, at least by fantasy points over expectation,
that was really high.
And at the running back position, you know, volume, especially target volume.
wins out at the end of the day over, over efficiency, let's say.
We actually, we took him last night, kind of begrudgingly.
I think the clock ran out on this, actually, and didn't necessarily feel the greatest,
but he's one of those guys that, you know, I want to have a few shares of, but you're right.
When you look at him and compare him to the talent that's going around him, it's just, he's in a different tier.
He's not in the same class as those guys.
We're one pick away here, guys.
I think for me, this is, I want A.J. or Drake London here.
I am rolling the dice. I would roll, I would roll the dice with Aschen Genty.
It's, you know, it doesn't feel good right now. It feels kind of gross, given the, you know, unclear unknowns with his ankle injury.
But to me, these first three rounds, I'm just grabbing a guy that I think is going to score the most points.
I would have gone Pooka in the first round, but I am a little bit worried that we may see some suspension or something.
We're all a bit shell shock to you after.
Okay, so Gentie goes, thank God, because we wouldn't have to have to take.
Thank God, okay, because I don't want to have to do that one.
And also we double tap Raiders.
I love my guy, Clint Kubiak, but I didn't want to have to go into the season with that one.
I think it's Derek Henry or Drake London.
I like A.J. Brown here, but I'm okay with Drake London here.
Abib, which way are you leaning?
I would be leaning Drake London, to be quite honest.
So then that's fine with me.
I think AJ and Drake London are sort of the same.
It's just quality of offense.
I would say this, though.
I would say this, though.
You know, crazy things happen,
especially the closer we get towards the season.
And sometimes when it's this close,
I just lean on ADP because I would not be all that shock to see London potentially make it back to us.
We just saw Jonathan Taylor go.
So then let's, I'm fine.
I go AJ based on ADP.
We're going zero RB then.
Okay.
So wait, hold on, guys, five seconds.
AJ or Drake London?
AJ.
AJ, let's do it.
I'm moving them up.
Okay, I took AJ.
It went in.
Okay, and then Scott, you're like, I'm with you.
I have Drake London slightly ahead, but who has a better ceiling outcome?
Like, I think AJ Brown could go crazy with a touchdown catches this year.
Drake London, the splits are really good with Pennix.
He's averaged 20 points per game with Pennix.
I have a ton of Drake London.
I love the start getting.
Bowers and AJ Brown here.
I think it's a really dangerous start.
I mean, we're zero.
We're zero here, guys.
But Scott, here's a stat for you.
Only 5% of teams in the FFPC main event
are zero RB builds right now.
And that's starting with your first running back in round five.
I guess nowadays, Scott, if you're trying to like,
because zero's so rare, I guess starting with a running back
in round four.
would technically be most people call that zero these days with how running backs being treated.
But it's I thought that Darren Armani came on on my show over at Rotowire.
And he talked about some of the most common stacks and some of the big takeaways from main events and big guerrillas.
It was so much higher.
Aib, years ago, even like three, four years ago, it was so common to see these zero builds.
So I don't mind having an odd build and getting unique with the way we're structuring our team, guys.
I really don't.
Listen, we're chasing the million dollar grand.
prize. That's and you got to zig when other zag. You got to find value and right now,
you know, I'm saying RBRB is optimal. It for sure feels that way to me, but chasing a million,
like the contrarian approach, I think has more credence. And so yeah, I like this. I was telling
Theo, I'm doing an underdog, $1,000 buy in, splitting it with Ryan Heath. And we went
zero RB, we started four wide receivers in a row. And then we were on the clock in the 12th round.
And it was right after the Josh Jacobs news broke and Barthong Lloyd was still there. And it just
felt like we definitely got lucky. But like we now have a massive edge over anyone else. And like,
as you know, I know you love hoarding handcuffs in the later rounds. Abib is like,
if you luck into that, you know, this time it was a suspension, but it could just as easily be a
week one injury. That gives you a big advantage over everyone else.
Yeah, and the beautiful thing is when you don't have to overpay for that handcuff.
I mean, so the reason I have so much Marshaun Lloyd is because I've been drafting since February,
and he was always one of the last handcuffs to go.
Same thing with Washington.
He's one of the later handcuffs to go.
At that time, I think as soon as Isaiah Pacheco went,
he was one of the higher handcuffs going outside of like the Blake Corms of the world.
So I think you just, you know, you try to, I view them all kind of the same.
They're all essentially lottery tickets,
in a redraft format.
So I never want to spend a lot on it.
So zero RB, I think, is a little bit easier to achieve earlier in the summer
when there's more ambiguous situations and things can happen.
But it's still not too late.
Like, you know, we can definitely still build a pretty strong team with that right now.

Starting with just $1 all day, every day now until December 31st.
You gotta try breakfast at participating A&W locations in Ontario.
Yeah, we're two picks away here, guys, and I like the way the queue looks here.
We have Nico Collins, Brees Hall, and George Pickens in the queue.
I think all three of them would-
That's exactly my rankings, so I like that a lot as well.
I am not a brief guy.
Okay.
So let's take Brise out of the equation.
I will,
yeah, well, I mean, honestly, like I would, I would, I, it sounds terrible, but I mean,
I would prefer Giovante Williams given I was about, I was just going to say, I was
just going to say, Javante is a winner this week.
Um, he's, I moved him up in my rankings.
I feel good about it.
And he's incredibly easy to cuff with, with, with, Malik Davis.
I still would prefer George Pickens here.
Um, I think Pickens is just a massive upside.
I, and I think it's a, uh,
I've had this conversation with Scott like a thousand times.
I mean, I know Brett Whitefield's on this,
but like Pickens outscoring Lamb again is a,
it's not like some crazy crazy out of nowhere prediction.
I think it could happen again.
Pickens was awesome last year.
Yeah.
And also Scott, he was also a first down earner like per fantasy points data.
George Pickens was, was crushing.
He pushes every set.
He's, he's a top seven yak guy.
He's a top seven separator.
He's a top seven hero catch guy, top seven hands.
This, by the way, was way too early on Javante.
I'd rather David McCormacier.
Easy.
This is Pickens.
This is the easiest pick we've had to make here.
Yeah.
Yeah, Javonte would have been like more of a structural pick.
And it's, you know, to me a clear tear break.
I, you know, the Jets offense, I'm just still not buying.
I think sometimes, you know, we spend so long and so much time in the all season
diving into these offense that we want to tell ourselves a story.
There's still the Jets to me.
It's still Frank Wright.
And Braylon Allen's there.
You're still kind of getting wind and assent that he may get the goal line carries.
I just, you know, if I take Brice, I want to take it later.
I want to take it at the back end of that tier.
I don't want to like reach up for him in the third round.
I love pickings.
They're different kind.
You know, him and C.D. are two different types of receivers.
But I think they are really equivalent as far as talent goes.
They do different things, but I think they're pretty pretty equivalent as far as talent.
So I have a recorded video for Davis Maddoch, Theo.
He wanted to know who my number one must draft player is this year.
And I know you could guess who that is.
But I did it alongside Brett.
And I was like, pick, pick anyone.
Who is your number one must draft player this year?
And he said, it's going to be George Pickens.
He's going to outscore many of the wide receivers going ahead of him in round one.
Or several of them.
I certainly he he thinks straight up he'd rather have pickings than cd lambs so certainly get the brett
whitefield stamp of approval on this one there was some talk of them moving him around too or or
saying more so i mean if he now gets a little a few layup looks uh you know i think he could
really break fantasy this year with volume there's a chart maybe tray could get it on the screen if
i dropped the link here no how you're gonna do how you're gonna get something where we have the board up
on the on the screen here's right
Can't do that.
You can't do that to the viewers here.
There's this amazing graphic.
It's Pickens the last three years versus Jamar Chase the last three years.
They're identical and literally everything, which is crazy when you consider the quarterbacks
he's played with Arthur Smith, you know, coached him.
The dude is like really talented.
Brett thinks way more talented, better film than C.
And like, yeah, I could see that.
Like this is, Brett Kassell has been pounding that table for years saying this is like a top
three wide receiver in the NFL and he's caught a lot of flat.
for it, but the dude is, the dude is nice.
It's a great start, guys.
Brock Bowers, AJ Brown, George Pickens.
This is like, if you get to the sprint and these guys are healthy,
this could be like, there's a week where these three could combine for 90 points.
That's that kind of upside with this.
So we don't have any running backs, but we're in great shape at wide receiver.
We're in tremendous shape at tight end.
And you're going to see the run where a bunch of managers,
going to start cramming in wide receiver this round.
I don't think we're necessarily done at wide out.
In the fourth round, it might be the best player on the board.
Scott, talk about Tucker Kraft, though.
Like, I just, you know, we've kind of brushed that off.
Do you think he's a little bit of a winner with no Jacobs,
with them trying to get the ball in his hands, utilizing the yak?
We talked about Jaden Reed on my show being like a low-key winner here as well
with trying to get him the ball around the line of scrimmage, you know,
try to get some of those Debo type touches for him as well.
Where are you out on Kraft?
I know you mentioned you don't like Kraft versus Fanon,
but have you moved Kraft up into consideration if he's like available in round six for us?
Yeah, I don't know that you explain the format in this league.
FFPC use promo code points.
Get $25 off if you're a brand new user.
This is my favorite format to draft, but it's tight end premium.
And I love that.
It's two running back, two wide receiver, one tight end, two flex,
one quarterback, tight end premium. And so, yeah, Kraft is an Exodia on ESPN. I love Tucker Kraft,
but in the tight end premium format, it favors a Harold Fanon. But yeah, he's a winner from this
Josh Jacobs news. Bro, Jordan Love ranks top five in fantasy points per dropback the last three
years. It's just the Packers are bottom three and dropbacks per game. And so, yeah, I think we could
see, you know, somewhere closer to neutral. And that uplifts everyone. I think, you know,
one of the sneaky biggest winners after Marshaun Lloyd is Christian Watson, who's really a borderline exodia
and he's, he's been that way all offseason. Really cool stat I just found today from one of her former
writers, Zane Donani, looking at his route distribution, his route chain is, it's not the
downfield role he used to have. It's a way more valuable role where he has some of that.
but a lot of intermediate routes, a lot of more shallower routes.
And like, let's not forget his rookie season.
He was an extreme yak god.
So, yeah, very bullish on him, probably more so than anyone else.
Tucker Kraft, like I said, I love him, Exodian ESPN leagues.
But I'm expecting a slower start in the first half of the season.
And he's more of a half-PPR-P-R guy than Titan premium to me.
Beb, bizarre guy going to make it back to us at the 408?
Potentially.
We can say, can we even say his name, or is it,
bad luck no bad luck we don't say his name you don't say his name don't say his name it
happens every single time even if we're not I moved him to I moved him to the top of the
queue I will say this I will say this you know I think you know we're probably eyeing a wide
receiver position here in the fourth based on what's on the board but the fifth round we got
to start thinking about okay unless you know another wide receiver falls to us if we want to
start looking at running back I am 100% okay leaning into an actual true zero RB build with our
running back coming in a sixth, seventh round, because we already have our starting
tight in.
And this year, more than any, and in this type of format, based on the ADP board, we can
wait forever at quarterback.
So whenever I do a zero RB, if I don't have an elite tight in, it never feels right,
you know, at least in a tight end premium.
So this is a perfect format for it.
It's the one thing that you said there, though, Beb, is, I think if Waddle and Abuka,
I mean, Higgins would be hard to pass up.
Parker Washington could come back to the 505.
Yeah.
I will say that if we like, you know, Scott's Exodia, Parker, Washington,
and then there's another, a few wide receivers that I think are really appealing at the 505,
considering D'Andre Swift here wouldn't be the worst thing.
Damn, T. Higgins off the board.
So we got Waddle, Ibuka, D'Andre Swift.
Yeah, Swift has kind of moved up the board.
I would take Scataboo and David Montgomery well above Swift.
So I like him too.
Yeah, well, so the thing with Swift is, or sorry, the thing with Scataboo is we may get him in the fifth.
Yeah, he's falling.
He's falling a lot.
Yeah.
Well, if we could do Montgomery Scataboo here, this is like the team that's going to win at all.
Well, okay, Swift goes, I personally think this is a Bucca because he's the 408 guys.
We can, I mean.
You're not going to take him over Parker, Washington.
A million percent.
I'm going to take him over Parker, Washington.
Yikes. Plus Parker Washington is going to be there at the 505 probably. I'm I'm a Bucca here.
I'm definitely David Montgomery. I would have I would have taken him over Javante.
We're already zero having a Bucca as our wide receiver. I mean, Abib, where are you at with this one?
Kind of lean at Buka and I haven't really been on him the entire off season. I don't know what to make of this toe injury. So it really is a gamble.
It depends on our risk tolerance. But right now,
we're just sort of kind of looking for these like super upside picks.
We have to build to support it guys.
Yeah.
And Scott,
you're going to get one of your guys in round five.
Yeah.
I want two of them,
but,
but go ahead.
I'm going to accuse you guys of falling victim to anchoring bias.
Let's take,
let's take a book.
You guys feel like this is a tremendous value because you've seen all the round three
at Bucca teams.
No, he's awesome.
You know,
this is my guy.
Scott,
and this was your guy for a lot of the summer here.
You got Ryan Heath peeled on on.
And first of all,
Scott,
You didn't get Pooka Nakuha, but you did get a mecca egg puka in round four.
And if that toe is nothing, then this is the, I mean, guys, there's potential that we have
the best third round pick and the best fourth round pick in this entire draft with Pickens and
egg puka.
You know, a mecca, Emeka and Parker Washington, like, you know, starting, you know, March,
April, you know, just early in the summer, even leading in the midsummer, they were on, you
they are very similar, you know, as far as kind of being in these situations where we weren't
quite sure what to make of them. With Parker Washington, we started just getting a lot of
information and a lot of intel, where he was lining up, the fact that he wasn't leaving the
field, the fact that, you know, when Brian Robinson or Brian Thomas came off the field,
it was Travis Hunter taking his spot and not taking Parker Washington. So the path for Parker
Washington became a lot clearer. And Mecca, his story's been a little bit.
bit confusing. I think the injury is just sort of kind of, you know, pushed them down the board.
But talent-wise, talent-wise, to me, Emeka is significantly more talented. And they literally
may be saying that playing the same position. They may be playing the exact same role.
Only Emeka, I think, actually has a better quarterback and is more talented.
Parker, his situation is just a little bit more clear. So it feels better. But I'm a Parker got
too as well. So, again, I wouldn't mind taking him here in the fifth. I don't feel like-
No, I wouldn't mind Parker Washington at all in the fifth round.
I'd say Scott's lean on Montgomery gets us there structurally.
I will say at the 608, when we start looking ahead to the 608,
Ramondri Stevenson, Marshawn Lloyd, one of those guys could be there at the 608.
So I think at the 505, I mean, if we want to play it perfectly safe,
it's probably running back in the fifth, running back in the sixth,
because there's going to be some appealing wide receivers and tight ends,
maybe in round seven at that seven oh five is so soft it is it is embarrassing how soft these
leagues are listen it's it's high dollar but there's some there's a huge edge i'd say it's it's
it's league to league i watched a board last night abeb i saw that board you were in that was a murderer's
row you were in there with the go bills guys yeah i mean i i mike show mike showp sends me a text
and he says theo you got to look at this board look who's in this draft and i started watching
your draft. I like the way you built your team, Abib, but there was like six guys that I think
are legit drafters all in one draft, and it was murderers row. Some drafts you get into,
guys are going to go different and not really follow ADP. When you get to Vegas, there goes
Cam Scataboo. So, can we trade our round two and round four picks for for three picks right here?
No, we want A.J. Brown and his 15 touchdown catches. And Abuka and his hundred catches. And,
And this is an awesome build.
We're going to do it's around in his arthritic knees,
Beckettuk and his toe.
And I hope, I hope it's, okay, this is a perfect scenario.
We're gonna let you pit.
Why don't we let Scott pick?
Oh, David, McGovern.
Scott has to pick.
Scott has to pick.
You got both,
God, you have it, you're like making me choose
between my two children.
What one?
Go for it.
You have to pick.
I think with the zero RB build,
we kind of have to take David Montgomery here.
Wait, so, Tray Camer,
can we clip?
I would love to take Parker Washington's,
instead of the Bucca, but you kind of,
so then if you throw that pick away.
Scott, who's gonna have a better year?
Who's gonna have a better year?
Who's gonna score the most points?
Who's gonna score the most points?
Bro, it's, it's legitimate.
I'm taking David Montgomery
because it's legitimately stupid
because we're gonna draft Sam Laporta next round
or we're gonna draft Harold Fanon next round
in which case like-
Pan will be gone.
Fanon will be gone.
In which case a fourth tight end
very well could be on our bench.
We take David Montgomery.
Did we lose our edge with the David Montgomery
pick Abeeb should we've gone Parker Washington. I think if it was Abe and I together,
we would have just gone Parker Washington there. Well, you told me to pick. I'm just
I'm shocked that you went Montgomery over. I am too. He's a better pick than Javante who you
wanted in round three. No, no, I'm not saying I'm just, you know, we're shocked that we're shocked
that and I want Trey Camberling to clip this one. Scott Barrett passing on Parker Washington
all of the fantasy points subs who put all of their hard earned money into Parker Washington exposure.
all in complete shambles and disarray.
You're taking your 29-year-old running back, David Montgomery, over Parker
freaking Washington, who went at the 3-11 in the $100,000 entry NFFC.
But Scott, it just shows your conviction for David Montgomery.
And then Christian Watson, Parker, Washington, I think if we go back at the end of the
year and we look at this pick, would we have liked this team better if we took
Christian Watson or Parker Washington there?
I don't know.
Here's the point.
This is an important point for people to get.
So let's say you are exactly right on the order of these wide receivers and I'm not.
You have A.J. Brown, George Pickens starting in the wide receiver spots.
Ibukas are Flex 1.
And then what did I say at the top of the show?
The biggest edge in FFPC drafts right now is that sweet spot of tight ends,
Sam Laporta, Harold Fanon Jr.
And so let's say we, one of them falls to us in the next round.
and then the outscore in a tight end premium format,
our wide receiver four,
which is kind of how it should be.
Then we have Parker Washington on the bench.
Unfortunately, I have co-hosts who made some poor decisions,
so we weren't able to get Montgomery and Parker,
but I just think, you know, six times or eight times out of 10,
you got to take the running back there.
Yeah, I will say this, though.
I mean, if we look at the current ADP boards,
I know you guys were in a draft not too long ago
where San LaPorte fell.
I think a lot of that was just due to the recent injury news
that had come out.
But in most drafts, like,
we're, and you may be high on George Kittle,
but we're lucky if George Kittle makes it to us.
Yeah.
So we may not even have that decision.
I'm fine with him.
Yeah, we may not have that decision
as far as kind of like being able to walk in one of those,
you know, mid-tier tight ends at tier three of tight ends,
which I like to.
A lot of my bills this year,
I have planned and really prep to start two, if not three, tight ends with the idea that,
you know, again, you're just trying to build the optimal lineup, the lineup that scores the most
points. That's why rounds one, two, and three, I'm not really concerned about who to take as far
as wide receiver versus running back versus tight end. I just, who's going to score the most points?
And then later in the draft, I'll work out the bill from there. It's a really fun start, guys.
We have our first running back with David Montgomery.
So we're in the 5% guys because we took our first running back in round 5.
So we're not going up against a lot of teams with this single running back through five rounds and taking them this late.
So it's like a very modified hero RB build, if not a zero RB build.
We have five guys in the queue.
We're going to have to load this up a little bit more because.
Actually, we have six guys in the queue.
Six guys in the queue.
Okay.
Okay.
And Ramondres is moving up boards too.
Remauntary is moving up boards as well.
So it's, you know, that's a situation where, again, if we were, you know, we went Parker,
we may have, you know, we may have been looking at Jalen Warren, is our starting running back,
which would have been, that would have put us in a pretty bad spot.
I think Mondre is the pick if he's there.
No, no.
Marshawn Lloyd is, is one I consider.
I don't want substation Mike Evans.
Why do we have we have Pat Firmus in the queue?
I'm not going to just in case.
Oh my God.
No, no, Scott, this is a running joke.
The problem with Scott's running joke of his love of Pat Firmith is what if we all get logged out here and we all go to Pat Friarmouth, Scott, don't put him in the queue.
It's dangerous game you're playing.
Oh, man.
Dangerous game.
Killing us.
Kyle Pitts goes, Marvin Harrison goes, Mike Evans goes.
Scott's not able to get Old Man Evans in this draft.
Where are you out of?
on to Mike Evans. Abiv. How much Mike Evans do you have? And I did take him in an NFFC league, Scott,
as much as I'm messing with you. Yeah, yeah. I was, I mean, I actually have quite a bit of Evans.
I've definitely calmed down the last month, month and a half or so. It just seemed like the dream
situation, but the runout to date has not been great, but the season hasn't started. So we'll see.
I'm not going to force the issue. You just have to be smart with these types of things.
As great a situation it is, if he were to stay healthy and as much as he could kill and be a value at
where he's going. You still have to understand that he's like 33 plus, has a history of
soft tissue injuries, currently dealing with soft tissue injuries. And just like, you know,
like anybody is managing a portfolio, you can't go all in on on, on, on, on all high risk
plays. So I do want to have some because, you know, if he's able to stay healthy during the
important parts of the year, I mean, he could absolutely destroy it. I could actually kill
fantasy being a fifth, sixth round pick. Harold Fannan would be great. Yeah. Phan
That's the good here.
That's the, I think he's gonna be gone.
I think we need to have a contingent plan here.
I did not, let's stay optimistic.
How about that?
I'm actually not a fan and got this year.
I'm not a fanning guy this year.
But 608, Abe, you can get it with him at 608, can you?
Yeah, yeah, 608 I can get.
But like, if he were there in a fifth round
or I was at the back, you know, at the five, six turn,
I'm usually letting them pass.
I'm not, I just, let's set the record again, too,
for Casey Conception.
We are, that's gonna be hard for us to top.
And we can stack them up in the last round with Dylan Gabriel.
That's right. That's right.
We got a whole Dilla Gabriel all year long.
He'll likely be there in eight.
He'll likely be there in eight.
This is a tricky, this is a tricky pick for us.
I don't think it is.
I think it's Kittle.
I think that was disappointing, but he, I think he might be, might go right here.
I'm okay with Kittle.
I'm okay with, with, I'm okay with,
I mean, I think the pick, I know you have a lot of exposure to him, Abib, but if Marshawn Lloyd is here at the 608, I think that would be my, my pick, because it's still, we're still trying to win this league. And you're already going to be unique with this build because you have a zero start. I think it's on Royd helps us really get there.
I've given this a lot of thought. So, yes, like my highest own running back across all formats, like a, you know, tallied up. I think I'm going to be able to get there. I think I've given.
I'm at like 40% plus Marshawn Lloyd.
But I'm okay taking him here with the caveat
that we don't reach, but we strongly consider getting Jacobs later.
Because George Kittle sniped.
So I think that forces our hand, Theo.
Steve frozen.
We may have to make a decision.
All right.
Well, I'll take.
I'm frozen.
I think it's Marshaun Lloyd.
I'm frozen.
I think it's Marshaun Lloyd guys.
Can you hear me?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Bro, we've been dealing with your Wi-Fi issues for two years, Theo.
I thought you were, you had a landline now.
It's going on.
It's not my wife.
I'm connected here, but I see, here's the problem here.
Theo, you're on such a delay.
You're in 2017 right now.
Let's hear the game theory argument, Abib.
Well, I would like to, I would like to point out that, okay.
You're in 2017, Theo.
Or, hey, or is it, or he's in 2037.
Well, I would like to point out.
What happened in the landline, Theo?
This is great radio.
Hey, Abid, can you lay out your argument for why you want Jacobs and Marshawn Lloyd?
And then I'll tell you why I agree with it.
Yeah, just because at this stage, nobody knows anything.
Like, we literally don't know anything.
And then you had the head coach, Michael Ford coming out and saying, we're going to, you know,
I'm going to stick by this guy until he proves me wrong.
That tells me that there's no definitive position.
that the Packers organization has on whether or not they're going to outright cut him or whether
or not they've gotten word that he's likely going to be out the entire year. So to me, like paying
a six round pick for a player that's only going to give us six weeks of being a starter, it doesn't make
sense, not in a large field tournament. It's the back end of the year. It's the last six weeks,
the last eight weeks that to me carry a lot more weight than the beginning of the year.
So I like being able to kind of marry him or couple him to Jacobs.
That way, if Jacobs does come back, you know, we have potentially the Packers starting running back.
I know things have changed this year, but people forget, before the knee contusion, okay, Jacobs was not injury prone last year.
Matter of fact, he was a top five running back in PPR, averaging almost close to 20 points per game.
And they were winning games.
And when he got, when he suffered the knee contusion, which was like a freak accident,
of like hitting his knee into the turf.
That's when you started to see the efficiency dip.
And then when he was out of games,
you also start to see the Packers themselves
started to lose games.
I think they were six, three and one at one point,
and they finished the year like nine, seven and one.
So not only was he efficient,
the team was also winning.
Michael Ford is somewhat on the hot seat too as well.
So in my mind,
I think that he needs and wants Jacobs.
I'm also a little bit worried about love
being able to operate an offense
without having a running game that is respected by the opposing defense.
To ask love to just kind of sit back here and pick defenses apart with the pass
without having a respectable run game or being able to lean on play action pass,
I think it's asking a lot.
I'm a little bit worried about that.
So I think that that offense really is, you know,
based on being able to run first and then pass off of that.
That's my take on the situation.
I think it's actually a lot more simple.
than that. I think this is why Marshawn Lloyd in round six is actually a bad pick. It's much better to
take Tony Pollard here or Jonathan Brooks here. And that's because in this format with a $1 million
grand prize, would you rather be one of the round six Marjan Lloyd teams competing against all the
round 14 Marshaun Lloyd? Or would you rather be the round 14 Josh Jacobs competing against all the round
three Josh Jacobs? Certainly me, I would rather the latter and the upside that comes with that.
Well, I think, I mean, ultimately.
No one's going to win a million dollars with Tony Pollard.
I'll tell you this, though.
I have a ton of-
Two people, hold on.
Two people have had 1,000 rushing yards in four straight seasons.
Derek Henry and Tony Pollard.
He's being seriously underrated, especially for a zero-r-b build.
Arshaun Lloyd has never had more than 130 carries dating back to middle school.
Well, he's going to have more than 130 carries this year.
Yeah, we'll see about that.
he's going to blow his hamstring out in week one and uh no i i'm like i like a
i like a i like a bib's idea of we can make sure we get jacobs if we use our 11th round
pick is going to get us going going back to scott's point you know someone who's like i've gone
like i audit my teams all the time i go through my teams and i just sort of kind of look uh and assess
and you know you know you know mess with waivers etc marciaun lloyd in most situations for me
is my second flex o tc here guys
On the clock.
So I think it's either Dallas, I think it's probably Dallas gotter.
I would just say take the upswing with Brooks.
I know.
I think it's Brooks.
I think Jonathan Brooks is the play here.
Yeah.
A month ago, we would have been ecstatic to get Brooks here.
And, you know, he's had a little bit of bad news.
Chuba's maybe back.
But that's not the idea behind Brooks.
But the idea behind Brooks is that his talent, you know, cream rises to the top,
indoor Chuba gets hurt or kind of falls to the back and he takes over.
Like, this is the build.
This, I mean, this is the build where.
we, where you want Brooks.
Like this is the ideal build where you want Brooks.
But one last thing going back to the Marshawn Lloyd,
I don't think we lose out by having to compete with teams
who got him in the 13th, 14th round,
because ultimately they're still likely going to be starting him as a second flex.
And when you look at this team, he's our RB2,
but really, in essence, he is and potentially could still be our second flex.
And we were just to rank our positions based on points, you know,
position one, the highest points score, position eight, the lowest points for, and ignore actual
position designations, you know, unless Marshaun Lloyd just has this year where he finishes as a top 12
RB, it's not going to hurt you taking him in the sixth round. I don't think you're going to lose
that much of an edge. If he finishes as a top five, top four RB, then yes, then taking an
six round is going to basically kill anyone who's reaching for him or who's kind of, you know,
taking them at this new ADP.
I think that we've caught up remarkably well at the running back position here with Montgomery, Lloyd, and Brooks, and with our plan of getting Jacobs.
Abeeb, I looked at yesterday's main events, and the main event data from yesterday, I'm finding what was the high for Jacobs yesterday?
I'm going to pull that up, just to make sure we get them.
And then we could be sort of fragile at the position.
We don't have to like overwhelmingly add a bunch of guys.
We can just make sure we get them.
This is not good.
I think we're better off looking at the big gorilla data from yesterday because there'll be more drafts, Sabib.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And I can tell you in the draft that we did yesterday, he went, I believe, in like the 11th, 10th or 11th round.
Let's see.
I'm going to pull up the big gorilla because the problem with looking at the main event one is there's some of those were slow drafts where he went in like the fifth round.
so that's not going to help us.
But yes, we have a bunch of big guerrillas that went off the board yesterday.
And Josh Jacobs high.
See, those also don't help us.
I think we've got to, I think we, to make sure we get him, we've got to take him in the
10th round, guys.
Yeah, he went in 10th round yesterday.
And I mean, you know, the thing with the Jacobs news or Jacobs issue is that because
there's no definitive information, there's not, it's going to be hard for the market to
settle in where he belongs.
So you're always going to find somebody in a draft who has, you know,
has a zero RB build and looking to Jacobs to be kind of the savior at the back end of the year.
And then you're going to be, you may be in drafts where people are just like,
this guy's not playing for the rest of the year.
So it's really just going to be dependent on who's in that room and we're just not going to know
until the board plays out.
But I think the 10th round to me makes sense.
I don't like just giving up these early round picks, you know, non-double-digit picks
where we could really build out our team.
Because even though these guys, you know, technically,
may just be bench. These are still guys that we were planning like a Casey Concepcion planning on
being started or planning on being breakouts later on in the year. I just want to load up on as many
of those guys as possible. Yeah, I think the queue looks pretty good. I would add in, I'm trying
to look if we're missing anybody. I'm adding Jaden Reed into the queue, just to have that conversation.
No, there's so many guys better than him right now. I'm adding QJN. I'm not going to remove him from the
queue just like eight did.
We're like eight. We're just doing this for the topic of the Jacob's news.
No, I think Jaden Reed was already, first of all, like, he doesn't, he doesn't play in heavy personnel.
You have Josh Downs, who is just the rich man's Jaden Reed.
You have Casey Concepcion, who I'd prefer.
You have.
Well, Casey Concepcion is a likely.
Casey just went. Casey just went. Casey just went. Casey just went.
He didn't break our record. Did they?
No, they didn't. They didn't. I think we beat them by, we beat them by two.
So we have the, what is it?
708 is we started.
got the the main up and high um running backs are flying off the board i think that we're more likely
than not i think we're looking at tight end or wide receiver here yeah i'll just i'll just throw it out
for conversation's sake we made the big bet on a j brown drake may in the in round eight get that
correlation is a consideration here abe i know we don't want to force it but forcing it would have
been the seventh round eighth round wouldn't be forcing it i'm completely against it

Okay, then I'm not, you know, I'm not-
Just because-
And I'm pretty generally, I mean,
with these tight ends still available,
I think, then we-
I didn't realize this until a week ago.
I've been playing FFPC for a really long time.
I have top 10 finishes.
I didn't realize that their quarterback scoring
was was different it actually penalizes the runners a little a little a little it's still
four points for passing TD yeah there's that but the the passing yards it's like yeah
uh 300 is 10 points instead of seven points or whatever and NFFC is NFFC is definitely way more
quarterback friendly um over there quarterbacks are getting pushed up i think you're not a sponsor
Oh, you guys don't have any deal with the NFFC?
We don't need it, you know?
We just get deals with everybody.
I'm FFPC till I die.
Before they were our sponsor, I was saying it's my favorite place to draft on.
Well, I'll be at both live drafts.
I'm unfortunately not seeing a BUS here in Vegas.
But if they want to sponsor us, I'll say whatever they want me to say.
Listen, they got, they got the golden goose over at RotoWire right now.
So they're, they're content and happy with our live draft coverage over there.
They're still around?
Roto wire, Redo wire.
Rito wire.
Oh, that's a big.
And I, Abe and I did crazy views on ours.
Our main event, I mean, people couldn't get enough of it.
They said we need more Abebe over here.
Yeah, how many, any Somalians you have paying to watch?
Oh, you think it's a click, a click farm for you to yeah.
Shout out, shout out to, shout out to the people at Google.
Scott wants an investigation.
Anyway, we're a couple of picks away and this is kind of going very well for us because we went
running back, running back, running back.
And now you're seeing Gainwell, Jordan Mason, R.J. Harvey, Chorri Croski, Merritt, all these guys flying off the board.
Listen, if we drafted with Abeeb a month ago, we would have had around 14 Marshawn Lloyd and feeling amazing about it.
But we have, we took him, Scott. We have them on our main event team. We took them in the 10th round in our main event team or 11th round. We have a main event team with Marshall. We got the waiver wire guru.
We got we got we got marshal. We have the goat at waiver wires.
I was going to get somewhere with that, though.
I was going to say, but the fish come out to swim in September.
You do get softer drafts.
And so, like, historically, looking at FFPC teams, I don't know.
You could confirm this, Abbe, but from what I understand, the best teams are, like, early September team.
Yes, but I do feel like this year is absolutely different.
And I think part of that, too, is because they let us draft, like, literally right after the Super Bowl.
So it was just the Wild, Wild West.
Oh, wow.
I mean, like, Jonathan Brooks was in the double-digit rounds.
Marshawn-Loyne was like going undrafted.
The fact that I got, like me just getting on him was just like, huh, okay, you know,
Amanda Wilson is no longer here.
Maybe, maybe Marshaun Lloyd could just stay healthy.
Maybe he'll be a handcuff.
And that's kind of how all that started.
So, yeah, we've been drafting since February in this format.
So the board has been crazy.
I mean, in our, in one of our earlier leagues, Theo, the Hardway draft, I got,
You know, I got AJ Brown at the three, four turn, you know, which now is, you know,
is going to be an extremely hard thing to do.
Devante Smith was going in the fourth, fifth round.
So the boards look very, very different now.
So I think this year more than any, unlike the years prior, there would actually be an advantage
to drafting earlier this year, unlike it's been in the years prior.
That hard way draft were usually...
When were the first main event teams drafted?
I could tell you.
Main event came a little later, but they had those big guerrillas and were out super early.
But we do the Hardway League.
Hardway League is sort of invitation only a bunch of really successful managers.
And I've won it twice.
And but Abiv, we had a, we had a number really, I was looking at that board the other day.
There was like some crazy values in that in that room.
Yeah.
We did that in May.
The first main event was late April.
And it was a slow draft.
So we lose out on Isaiah likely would have been really good here in round eight.
Yeah.
That would have been.
And QJ goes.
So I think there's only two, really.
I think it's Josh.
I like Josh Downs.
I like where Scott's head was out on Josh Downs.
Is Josh Downs or Drake May?
I'm actually Michael Wilson over all of those.
Oh, you know what?
I don't mind Michael Wilson.
I'd have him third or fourth on that list.
But I kind of like Michael Wilson.
Well, I don't.
I like Wilson too.
But, B, if we like, do you like Wilson?
and downs pretty close or is it a huge win to Wilson?
I don't trust the downs being, you know, in 12.
I don't trust it.
Let's go.
Let's go Wilson.
And I think if May comes.
Let's see ADP.
I might.
Wilson and downs are right next to each other.
It's really, it's no edge.
I don't think we'll, I think Wilson's probably going to be gone by the time we pick next.
So I think it's, let's put on my goal.
One player's been moving up in ADP.
That's Wilson.
One player has been moving down in ADP, which is downs.
Yeah.
I think that the Alec Pierce coming back.
I know, Scott, they're completely different.
It's not overlapping.
But I think Pierce coming back and Downs not having like that first month without Pierce,
that hurt him a little bit.
I don't think that if Downs is on the board in round nine, we're off him, though, Abib.
I think round nine, if May is there, I think we've got to pull the trigger on it.
But I like the Michael Wilson.
It kind of, we get our fourth wide receiver.
Let me ask you this.
Good one.
What's the difference between Josh Downs and Wondell Robinson?
I really feel like Wondell Robinson.
So Josh Downs is a top 12 wide receiver by targets per route run the last two years
in games with a 66% snapshot.
He's top 10 in everything.
If he gets it and that's with only,
that's with mostly grandfather Philip Rivers and Joe Flacco and absolute nobody's at quarterback.
The expectation I believe is a 66% snapshot.
every single week.
I think he's a really high-end target earner.
I think Alec Pierce isn't close to full health.
And Wondell Robinson, meanwhile, is a total PPR scam, glorified running back.
And he's on a shit team.
And so I see, yeah, we just passed on Josh Downs.
I think that's another one we're going to live to regret.
I see realistic high-end wide receiver two upside for him, way better offense than an
offense that might be starting Carson Beck in the second half.
And so, yeah, that in round eight.
that's just upside that's hard to come by i look at josh downs i look at josh downs and he's in an
offense that has jonathan taylor that's the primary breadwinner and then he's in an offense that just
paid a wide receiver i know he's coming off an injury but what's he gonna look like you know during
the money parts of the year they just paid him over a hundred million dollars to beat a guy and then
they brought in keenan allen too as well and historically he's just not played you know that many
so we're we're wishing and hoping a lot with downs i get the yards per target are great but with
Wondell, even if he's a PPR scale, I don't care how you get your points.
He's getting points.
And he's with the same offensive coordinator that he's been with in a very bad offense with not a lot of talent around him.
And they paid him as well.
I mean, they paid him a decent amount of money, I think, to come in.
And we'll see what happens with Cardinal Tate.
I'm not completely, completely throwing away Cardinal Tate.
But if that's his main target competition, to me in a team that's going to always be in negative game scripts with a gun sling
your quarterback who if he can just not be bottom barrel of the league you may see another
you know thousand yard 90 plus reception season from wandole what i will say wandel scott
you came around on him yet like last year it was because i we did school of scott together for
two years he had literally no one else malique neighbors was hurt well i'll i will say that we're
i know that rhodel wire and fantasy points are both very low on the offensive lines
situation in Tennessee. I think Wondell, they're going to be forced to use Wondell a little bit.
I think it's fine. We don't necessarily need Wondell here, but I think a BPE is in this conversation
with the guys going right here. Yeah. And I will say too, they, you know, his, his target tree
did expand last year, you know, when neighbors went out, like, listen, I was talking to East and
freeze yesterday, who he said, yeah, Wondell is going to lead the team in receptions this year,
but it's like he's literally running, running back routes. Like, this isn't a real receiver. Whereas, like,
Josh Downs is kind of like Deontay Johnson 2.0.
Yeah.
It's a real receiver.
He's competing for targets against Alec Pierce, who's not a target earner.
He's a deep threat who opens everything up for Josh Downs operating in the shallow, an intermediate area of the field.
And Jonathan Taylor, they're stacking the boxes.
Linebackers are coming up.
So again, that's more room to run in the middle area of the field.
I like Michael Wilson, though, so I'm not too sad about that.
Josh Downs did go off the board.
With our next pick, dude,
And Dale Robinson is like my least favorite player of all time.
By the way, all the PPR scam targets he gets are like the, like worthless.
Like it's bad for the offense.
It's like he, he ranks dead last and EPA per target every single year.
I'll throw out.
Dable's gonna get fired week seven.
He stinks.
Round nine, Drake May.
Abed, you get AJ Brown, Drake May correlation in round nine.
There he goes.
Okay, so we don't have that option.
Thank you.
I'll say the, okay, I'll say for me.
me the way that this draft is going, I'm going to throw Joanne Johnson's name in there,
who I think is a real winner from the Jordan Tyson injury.
Is, is one of the odds Mark Andrews isn't washed?
Because Isaiah likely is no longer there.
Charlie Kohler is no longer there.
If he's not washed, like he could be awesome.
I'm, I'm on, I'm on Rashad White here.
Okay, I don't, we took Rashad White before.
I think Rashad White is fine.
I'll throw out one more name.
Gene Daniels.
Daniels will be there around 10.
One of these, one of these quarterbacks.
Josh Jacobs.
We have, we have, we have, we have, we have,
we have Dak Prescott correlation too with Pickens.
Josh Jacobs.
Jacob's not here.
Let's take Rashad White.
Put it in,
Abe.
Put it in.
I'll get it.
I'll get it.
I got it.
I did put it in Rashad White.
Yeah, yeah.
I just like, I mean, you know,
I'd also like to point out for the fantasy points audience that I don't think
Scott Barry.
I know Scott,
this is my board.
that I shared with Trey Camberling behind the scenes when I got here.
And I'm not sure if Scott has, are you loading players in the queue, Scott, right now?
Yeah.
Okay, never mind.
Okay, so Scott is doing one thing.
Who do you think put Pat Fryermuth in there?
Oh, yeah, I know.
That was for, it was like a practical joke there.
So we get Rashad White as our running back four.
So here's, again, not to keep going back to the Marshawn Lloyd, but here's another example of Marshawn Lloyd.
You know, you can kind of squint a little bit.
and this exact same team could have been drafted two months ago with Marshaun Lloyd going in the ninth round,
Jonathan Brooks going in the sixth round, and Rashad White going in the seventh round.
Yeah, that's interesting.
So, you know, like the shift in the board.
So to me, like this is, this is like a volume player.
This is how I naturally diversify, you know, getting comfortable with buying the dip.
Unless it's something significant, like unless there's some real critical news, which 99% of the time,
the beat reporters, the coaching speed, preseason, all of it is just like worthless.
All it does for me is allow the board to shift for me to be able to acquire players
that I would have not otherwise acquired because their ADP was too high.
You wouldn't have been able to get egg puka in round four where we got him,
but that's what I'm saying.
I love that.
I like that.
I like that.
So this allows the board to shift and allows me to be able to acquire some of these shares.
So our team is not, you know, to me, at a huge disadvantage necessarily from a lot of teams.
Because Rashad White was going, I mean, seventh, eighth round and a lot, a lot of drafts.
Jonathan Brooks was living in the sixth round for quite some time too as well.
So, you know, when guys aren't in the news, they're not getting hyped up, they tend to fall a little bit.
Yeah.
And this is one of our big disagreements.
So I'll do five teams every year.
And so like I'm going to pound the table for my guys.
I think that's my edge.
But you guys are each doing, I don't know,
geez, Abeb 100 team, something like that.
And so from doing it that way, like your whole edge
that you realize is like, yeah, when there's an ADP faller,
chase that.
And like in late August, early September,
maybe the entire edge is just fading the overreactions, right?
And so scooping up, gobbling up value that way.
To help you out to make you feel better.
Okay, we already talked about Marchionnella
would be my highest on running back.
Jonathan Brooks is like number two or three.
So we're still getting...
This guy knows ball.
So we're still getting our guys.
You had literally the best pick you could have had and exodia.
So shout out to you.
Oh, another guy I wanted to talk about was Ash and Genti.
Did you ever sneak in that last second draft?
Oh, no, no.
I couldn't get it.
I couldn't get it in.
Well, you have what?
You have a round 10.
I have to compete against a round 10, Ashton, Gene.
Eight, around eight, round eight.
Round eight.
Round eight.
Yeah.
Eesh.
Yeah, I gave Abiv the scoop before Adam Schefter by a good two or three hours.
I thought it was in her three-way group chat, Theo, but I told him to sneak in another
FFPC.
Yeah.
You know, you spend a lot of money on these drafts and like drafting a guy that, you know,
the entire knee team is taking a knee or doing a, you know, kneeling while praying,
you know, hoping that, you know, his season is.
it wasn't an easy click at the time for sure so it's it's been a you know it's definitely been
uh you know somewhat of an anxiety provoking uh last couple of weeks hearing the news come out on
him but seems seems like he's going to be okay still a red flag though if if you should
our teammates gather around for a prayer circle for a low ankle sprain red flag you might be a pussy
Okay, there we go. I didn't have to say it. Trey read my mind there. Okay. So looking at where we're coming around in round 10, I don't think this is the Josh Jacobs pick. I think the Josh Jacobs pick is round 11, Abed.
Okay. I think if you want him, if you feel like we need him on this team, we should grab him. I don't know if we necessarily need him on this team.
Because team one will probably take it.
Team one only has two RBs.
I can see them.
I think that I'm just looking at this now.
I'm just looking at the board.
When I get to this point in the draft where there's just like not a lot of guys I'm looking at that are just like must haves.
You know, like we, you know, we're in the group chat earlier.
Who are our must have players?
A lot of those guys have risen up the board.
To me, there aren't a lot of guys that are must haves.
Like I could do without a Mark Andrews.
and be fine with a Breton Strange or a chick of Quanko, right?
I could do without Mike Washington, a handcuff,
and be fine with literally any other handcuff.
I could be fine without Jaden Daniels and Dak Prescott and Trevor Lawrence
because we're likely going to get one of those guys in round 11 too as well.
So if we're fine taking Josh Jacobs in round 11,
we should probably just take them in 10,
especially we're planning on getting a quarterback with these next two picks
because one of those, you know, there's going to be a quarterback that's going to be there.
I like it.
I like that argument.
I like that argument.
see where I liked here. So yeah, I think it's fine. Let's go Jacobs. Mark Andrews for me.
I don't really care about Mark Andrews. Honestly, with this Bowers team, I wouldn't be,
I'd be fine if this was Michael Mayer and Brock Bowers and call it a day. That's the advantage of
taking Bowers at five. Yeah, you have the luxury of not having to take a tight end. Definitely
if one falls. Like I don't, I haven't. Well, I really like the quantity approach just in the
tight end, like that's where you can get round 14, round 15 guys who the wide receipts,
in that range have no chance of ever cracking your flex spot in comparison, or at least it feels
like, yeah, like, maybe you're deep enough that that doesn't matter because we are pretty
impressively deep here. Yeah, we're going to get to the point. I think we're like, we're going to be
having, you know, decisions between a wide receiver and strange, a wide receiver in jig,
a wide receiver in Kenyon, Sadiq. So to me, like, that's like the perfect time to like really
target those guys. I took, I took, uh, Sadiq in a NFFC where I took Bowers. And it's obviously
a different cost where you get Bowers in round two in NFFC and then I took Sadiq in like round
17. I think Sadiq is a really fun value. I think Chig has been pushed down way too much recently.
Brenton Strange is fine. I think one of those guys is going to be there in round 11. Mike Washington
goes off the board here too. So you talk about like the running backs that are going to be appealing.
Jonah Coleman, Kyle Menangai, Woody Marks are all going to go in this range. So if we want to ensure that we
get the Green Bay running back situation.
I think we just take Josh Jacobs in round 10.
And then I think we're sort of hoping in round 11 that I think strange would be the
pick for me there or a Conquo and get our tight end too.
But if they're off the board, Abbe, then I'm voting DAC.
I think, I'm fine with that.
I like that.
Yeah.
Oh, this is great.
Look, I've been in this situation.
I went back and looked at all my teams where I, you know, because I had drafted a fair
amount of Jacobs, too, as well, just because I saw the.
upside of getting him getting fourth and fifth round shares. You know, I split it 50-50 as far as
getting aggressive about handcuffing him with Marshawn Lloyd and then not handcuff him. And the teams where
I didn't handcuff him, I'm looking back and I'm like, why? Like, why not? Like, why didn't I just
take a Marchand Lloyd? Even knowing just, you know, even if we didn't have all of the other outside
stuff outside of just, you know, potentially being injured or injury prone, but what was the reason for me
not clicking the button for Marshawn Lloyd in the 11th and 12th round.
Retrospect, it like makes no sense.
And so the last thing I want to do is like look back a month from now and ask ourselves,
you know, why did we decide to take Mark Andrews over Josh Jacobs?
And it comes out that Josh Jacobs has only been suspended six games.
We're not going to feel good about that, you know?
And now this team is strong to me.
This team is like built to like really do some absolute damage, you know?
Bro, you know who my new?
who Pat Friermuth is. I know you don't care, Theo.
Gunner how does Evan Ingram have a 278 ADP when every beat writer within 90 miles of Denver?
Because he sucks and he talks about him, like he as he's as impressive as Jalen Waddle.
You know, my God, show me a single person who said he's as as
Jalen Waddle.
The king of the
offensive coordinator for one.
No, come on.
The one thing is like, you know, a lot of fantasy, a lot of fantasy, a lot of fantasy, a lot of fantasy.
point subs were actually furious that jillan wattle was not your number one exodia this year bro he he goes after
jake tanges he goes after david and joku who's the tight end three on the chargers um so a little last round
guy um another one for when we collect handcuffs i like the kc handcuff i like jacob sailors ufl running back
emma johnson's the other one emma johnson i like a
a lot, but I think Emma Johnson, we got to take in like round 14, the way that things are
trending.
Even earlier.
It may be round 13 even.
Yeah.
Emma Johnson's become like priority handcuffed material and you got to keep an eye on the Walker
manager.
The Walker manager also took him at 11, I believe.
Um, so they might be looking to cuff him.
I mean, really as early as the 12.02, um, quarterback wise, just looking at this half of the
board, all bets are off.
these days with the way people are building
quarterbacks with these two QB rooms.
I think this is if we want DAC, we take him here, though, guys.
But I'll say Caleb Williams, Trevor Lawrence,
they're both on the board.
Like a chance that gets to us in round 12?
Absolutely.
Theo, how, how, how, how, how much higher do you have DAC over Jared
golf?
I've said to Scott that I think he can be this year,
Goff can be this year's version of 2025 Matthew Stafford and have his 40 touchdown season.
That's sort of where I'm at with Goff.
But I don't love golf uncorrelated.
And I just, I, we're going to have like, I think we're going to be likely taking at the very
least two QBs now that we've like waited a bit.
But I think between rounds 13, 14, we're going to be able to get two pretty strong
quarterbacks too as well.
Assuming there's no flex position here that we, you know, are.
aren't wanting to, but I like the idea of Strange.
I think Strange provides, you know,
week to week value if we need to put them in a flex.
But also, like, if somebody gets injured, you know,
one of the wide receivers, you know, gets injured.
I think we start to see an increase in his usage.
He had some pretty valuable games last year.
You know, there were some games we, you know, he was hurt and he was out for a while.
But he had some, he had some pretty decent games last year.
He was scoring 15, 16, 20-point games.
So there is some upside there.
I have Strange ranked well ahead of Schultz.
I mean, I know Schultz is sort of the de facto number two target again,
but I agree with you.
I've taken Strange higher than this.
I've taken him in the 10th round before.
I like Strange a lot.
It gets us access to a really good offense.
So I think Strange is the pick.
And if he's not there, I mean, it could be Chigacanquo here,
because again, we only have one tight end.
I don't mind either.
I don't mind either.
Again, to me, these guys, you know, we talk about handcuffs and wide receivers that could break out, you know, if an injury happened.
Same thing with these tight ends.
If Diggs goes down or McLaurin goes down, both who are with, you know, early guys, Chig is going to see a lot of usage.
So, you know, right now, you know, let's get guys that can, you know, maybe plug and play, but then also have upside.
So, Chig or.
I think it's strange.
I think it's strange here.
I think strange here.
What about the exa kicker?
You've been.
Too early?
Too early.
Too early.
I actually think I like chig just a hair better than strange.
I'm fine with that upside.
But if you want guaranteed points, it's strange.
I'm fine with that.
I'm fine either way.
I prefer strange.
I think it's super, super close, Scott, but I have strange ahead.
Let's take strange.
And I know, right?
And I know, right?
Wait, I want a DAC.
I thought he went off the board.
We were already saying, I think there's a,
there's a chance that that that comes back to you here, Scott, in the 12th round.
Can I read off to you, our FFPC projection?
though by fantasy points per game it's josh allen lamar jackson drake may jaden daniels jaylan
hertz uh... dack prescott joe burrow trevor trevorrence justin herbert brock purdy jackson
dart kiler murray matthew staffer so who who who should the targets be there um hurts isn't off
oh no hurts is off the board yeah deck prescott i mean dart dart purdy were
in that territory we're going to take two of these guys okay i think i think we yeah and i'll throw out
like i don't mind late baker um because baker goes super late that's a good call and we have a we have
egg puka and we can also grab a jellon macmillan yeah and malick willis goes late too as well so like we
i'm telling we we're we're going to be fine with quarterback we'll get one in the 12th here whoever it
whoever falls who you know i don't i don't feel the need to stack in this format um last year nobody was on
Trevor Lawrence and nobody was really on Purdy all that much.
And I don't know who you were stacking Purdy with, but Purdy and Lawrence was a
Waver Wire.
Yeah, and Dart was a waiver wire.
Yeah.
You don't, you don't, you don't, this, in this format, you don't necessarily need to stack.
And I think that's why I like having two, in the worst case scenario, three quarterbacks,
is because if you can just optimize start sits, you can ultimately end up with the top
three, top four quarterback, you know, so.
I love the.
way this team is shaking out. I think we've got a lot of balance here. Strange gives us another
tight end. I do think unless another tight end values like a Kenyan Sadiq would be one that I think
we should really look for. I think he's a perfect tight end three for this build. But I think this is a
really good good team so far. And we are so dangerous at wide receiver, so dangerous with Brock Bowers.
And I think we've covered really well at running back. And a number of running backs who can catch passes on
this team too. Scott, what should you guys take on Kenyansity? Because his ADP has just plummeted
because of the injury, but he's supposed to be healthy to start the year. It'll be a slow start.
But it just seems like just a tremendous value because outside of Garrett Wilson, it's not hard to see
him outpacing Mitchell, obviously Omar Cooper in targets towards the back end of the year.
And he plays with Frank Wright, who turned Ebron into an absolute.
absolute monster that one year when he signed with the Colts.
Yeah, I mean, you've always seen kind of like,
Reich's tight end score a lot of fantasy points as a collective unit,
but that's because he likes a rotation.
And so I think he's legitimately going to lose time to Mason Taylor,
not be a Belkow tight end.
And then also they drafted a slot wide receiver in round one,
which makes me think, you know, they'll, yeah,
they're going to play some heavy personnel,
play some 11 personnel, rotate a little bit.
They like Mason Taylor.
I guess when you're talking about this range and upside, he's fine,
but I wouldn't call him a target by any means.
Dude, it was crazy.
Terrence Ferguson was going, what, round 13, round 14 a month ago?
That was auto-click.
You're going to see eighth round Terrence Ferguson in Vegas before they play.
Like you're seeing him go up in NFFC too.
Smart people are on them.
Oh, I like Greg Dulcidge more than Sadiq, as gross as that might sound.
way no way no way i have a target in that offense you can think it's like 1950s era run heavy there's
just nowhere else for the ball to go um i like the way you were playing it before scott i liked i liked
your i liked your i liked your attacking malik washington in round 18 strategy better than yeah um i'll say this
guys i'll say cedeek counterpoint 16th overall pick omar cooper has been incredibly slow out the gate
Cedek gives them the yak guy.
They were incredibly excited to get him.
And all these little, like, there's tons of metrics.
You know, people talk about like the targets per route run and all that kind of stuff.
But he had 51 catches, which is an elite number for a college tight end at that level.
Most tightest, most catches ever by Oregon.
51 catches at Oregon.
It was the most that tight ends ever had there.
It was less than Terrence Ferguson had the year before.
No, it's not.
No, it's not.
Terrence Ferguson didn't have 51 catches.
Sadeek set the record.
We need to get Brett Whitefield in here.
Yeah, but what's his yards per reception?
There we go.
Okay, fine.
Thanks, that.
Okay, well, okay, so I'll say,
Sadiq, you don't need to take him in round 12 here, Abib.
I think he's probably the following.
Yeah, yeah, no, he's like, yeah,
don't, you know, we don't need to pull them up the board.
I'm just, but, yeah, I had another, like,
I had, I had, I recorded with Pat Doherty, uh,
from Roto World who had a really good one, Scott that I think you'll appreciate.
Don't, don't draft a rookie, um, in a round lower than his overall, uh, overall, overall pick
in the NFL draft.
16th overall pick,
and you're seeing him
in like the NFFC in like
round 18.
I like taking them
when I have no pressure
at tight end,
when I have like a Bowers,
Loveland,
McBride type build.
I think Scott,
those guys like Dulcich
and those guys,
certainly like the Schultz's
of the world,
they're going to have like
an early season role.
But with Sadiq,
it's like second half of the year.
Could he be firing off
in a major way?
The draft capital's elite,
the athleticism's elite,
and the price is so,
cheap right here.
I think this next pick, guys, I'm going to
stump for Caleb Williams, and I think we go
quarterback back to back. We're seeing
Jackson Dart is off the board. Caleb goes.
So
if it were, my preference
would be to grab Emma Johnson here.
I would go
Block Purtt personally.
Will Purdy come back around?
Does the team number three have a quarterback?
You keep saying that and these guys don't come back around.
I feel I'm fine with Bo Nix. I'm fine
with pushing this quarterback position and even
ending up with Gough, Murray, Mayfield, and just two of these guys, love. Willis is two of those guys,
right? Pretty Knicks, Mayfield. Are it all handcuffs the same, Abe? I thought we always agreed on.
Yes, yes, they are, but guess what's going to happen? Well, then, there you go. It's John.
What's going to happen is all the handcuffs are going to be gone by round 15.
They're all going to be. I would say, I would say, you could have Jamir Gibbs RB2 for free.
If we're rolling, if we're rolling, if we're rolling the dice.
We don't know that's going to be the case, though, for, you know, we do.
We're on the clock here.
There's 45 seconds left.
We're on the clock.
I'll say that Tyler Algear and Kalin Black are interesting to me here.
Tai J Spears is interesting to me here.
I think Purdy could come back around.
And if not, we're still on a double-tap quarterback situation.
I'm fine going quarterback here because we'll get a handcuff.
Okay.
So let's get what handker.
Let's lock in Purdy.
Yeah.
Let's lock in Purdy.
And then we're looking at running back next pick.
So can you put that one in?
Yeah, I got you.
Okay, so we're getting Brock Purdy as our QB1,
and then I think we're a second quarterback in the 13th or 14th round
and just lock that in, guys.

I would, yeah, I would say let's wait to the 14th.
Yeah, that's fine.
Let's grab a handcuff.
Tyler Al Jir, Kaelin Black, Tage Spears.
I talk to Easton Freeze too.
Ray, Ray Day.
He likes Taijay.
He likes Taijay.
Yeah, either of these guys.
You talk to East and Freeze?
Right.
Scott introduced me.
We're in a Dynasty League.
together and I I I've tweeted out some of Easton's work before so we're cool like that it's hard
not to like our team Brock Purdy uncorrelated but Brock Purdy is just an awesome value here in round 12
I like Bo Knicks a lot I know I like Bo Nix I think more than you do Scott but I've drafted
Bo Nix a good pick yeah I would have been fine with Bo Nix too I think you know I really wish we
would have had Emmon Johnson there but I do I do think we need to stress one of these high
upside RBs or I'm in I'm in with I'm in with several of these guys I'll say Al Jare is interesting
because Conner's on the IR and I think that you know you already have Jeremiah Love
who looks like he's trending for week one but he's dealing with an ankle um so Al Jir I think is
interesting we have one cardinal and in Michael Wilson but who cares uh we got him in
round eight I think Al Jare is a fun bet I think Kalin Black's a fun bet if we were trying to
chase the handcuff in San Francisco Scott it's you're on black or
or are you on Jordan James even later?
I'm on Ray Davis,
before I just moved to the top of our queue.
James Connor, I mean like Uber Workhorse last year,
but he's like on the smaller end of the spectrum.
It's an elite offense.
And we've seen him smash as a Belkow before
when James Cook was out.
Ray Davis is fine.
He's in that same mix with these guys.
I would just need one of them.
The only reason I would say,
Calum Black is just because the slight chance that Ray Davis may make it back to us,
and we can grab two of them.
That's fine by me.
That's fine.
But in a vacuum, to me, like Ray Davis is more of a sure-fire bet to be the handcuff.
And Caleb Black, it's a little bit questionable situation.
But what I'm hearing with Caleb Black is that he offers or is much more of a plus in the past game over Jordan James,
so they don't have to change the offense as much.
You can do a little bit more.
So even if Christian McCaffrey goes down, obviously he's not going to get Christian McCaffrey workload.
But you would see that maybe he gets the more valuable touches.
And we have Brock Purdy.
I don't know if you guys want to correlate the end.
I like the correlation with the running back and the quarterback in this offense.
So I think it's Kaelin Black if he's here on the board and if he's gone.
What about Dylan Stapson?
Are we just thinking that even if QJ goes down that they're just somebody else comes in and he's not really getting RB1 workload?
Yeah, I worry about a committee, worry about him being just like a scatback plus,
whereas Ray Davis, I think, could be a 20-touch guy.
Okay.
I think this is Kaelin Black.
We also saw Bo Knicks off the board.
He was probably in play, honestly.
Well, actually, Baker's fine for us as our QB2 target.
And also you got Matt Stafford, you got Jared Gough, you've got Kyler Murray.
You got a lot of guys on the boards here.
So let's go, let's go, let's go Kaelin Black.
We both like him.
All right. I'm going to go to the bathroom real quick.
I'll be right there.
Sure.
Abib, you want to put in Kaelin Black?
I'll put them in.
I got it right here.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, Kaelin Black's in.
So Purdy, Kailen Black in the 12th and 13th round.
Yeah.
This is a really nice runout.
I think we need to take an upside swing at wide receiver, get another one, too.
We're really good at wide out up top, but I'd like a little bit of depth.
Yeah.
You know, Scott kind of made the comment before that, you know, we want to go for these handcuffs
and because of wide receivers or maybe we're saying we should go for the tight ends
because some of these wide receivers will never make it to our lineup.
I do think that this year seems a little bit different just because a lot of the newer situations,
a lot of, you know, rookies coming into teams that really have nothing, like the Miami situation.
Even though they may be run heavy, somebody has to catch the ball there.
You know, so if it's not dulcage, you know, whether it's Bell or Douglas, to me that's an opportunity.
You have the Chargers opportunity to as well with Trey Harris, who knows what's going to happen there,
Lad nor QJ have been, you know, necessarily the most healthy of players.
Pat Bryan is someone that we talked about before.
If they move on from Sutton or they just increase and phase out sudden and, you know,
have Waddle and Pat Bryant be sort of kind of the go-to.
And again, Waddle's not necessarily been the most healthy player.
If you've ever rostered Waddle, you've seen him go in and out of games plenty of times.
Why do people hate Cortland Sutton?
Why do people think they're going to move on from him?
Like this has been a productive.
He's not a healing model, but last year,
Troy Franklin, they tried to,
Troy Franklin usage, Scott. You talked about it
on school of Scott, how they were using him
in a de facto wide receiver one role.
Now Franklin's the wide receiver.
I mean, it wasn't necessarily at Cortland
Sutton's expense. He was still like wide receiver
1A, wide receiver 1B.
And then he did move back off of it.
It's like, you know,
maybe there's a regression, but it's
you know, the guy for
three years now has been getting
you know, really good volume.
I don't think he's washed by any stretch.
I actually think he's like a decent value in FFPC for teams that took more of a zero
wide receiver approach.
Like just the, he's like the remandre of wide receivers this year.
I'm an agreement with that.
But I also think like, you know, just kind of, you know, what are they telling us, you know,
outside of just like what they did last year, which to me was still kind of telling.
And even heading into the playoffs was a bit telling when the games really counted.
But then when you go out and like spin.
which you spend to get Waddle, you know, his contract, the draft picks given up. To me,
that tells me, you know, kind of that they definitely don't view him as the one, or at least
the guy that they want to be the primary target earner. And it just, yeah, it just seems like,
you know, everything that you're hearing out of camp about Pat Bryant, you may, you know,
again, it may mean absolutely nothing. But it just, you know, Waddle to me, as much as I love Waddle,
like, he's going to miss a game or two. Like I just like, you know, envision that as well.
But these are all kinds of situations where I feel like some of these guys may be surprises.
I think one of these like late brown wide receivers is going to be of significant value.
The Miami guys are very, to me, interesting because you don't want your offense going through dosage, right?
He may be like the underneath blanket and he may be very, very valuable in this format just because he maybe get peppered with targets.
but ultimately like if you were the OC you're not wanting your offense to go through dulcage
you need a reliable wide receiver there and so you know whether it's Douglas or Bell
I want to bet on one of those two guys I don't think it's going to run through Washington or through
the slot I like I like Jill and Bell Brett Whitefield said he had round one caliber tape
it's gonna be like a very slow start but if he's someone were willing to be
to hold three or four weeks.
So I got so in like when we're drafting now,
given that bell is getting all this hype,
you cannot,
you have to just ignore ADP.
We got to look at our board and say,
do we want Trey Tucker or do we really want Chris Bell?
Because Chris Bell may not make it back to us.
I mean,
I'm going to stump for,
for Jellon McMillan here because I think there's
correlation with our Igbuka pick.
And I think Joe McBillan.
Not I mean how I don't see how it's negative correlation because McMillan when he's averaging more fantasy points per game than him like he did over the last month of the season last year that means we want to correlate for pick I would want to handcuff him with Hearst more than anything which I think well hurts we get late but I think I think I don't like hand cutting her own players when it's it's it's raising our downside of the expensive or upside in a McMillow where you want a million dollars McMillan I think McMillan I think McMillan and
And I think Adonai Mitchell are both good picks in this round.
I think I mean, Mitchell falls a little later.
But I think I think Jill McMillan is a really good pick in all formats.
I have a ton of exposure to him, especially in bestball.
But I think that when you talk about Chris Godwin being 30,
you talk about Abuka having the toe injury.
And you talk about, I mean, you sort of made the argument there, Scott,
how McMillan came back from that scary neck injury, scored well at the end of last year.
And Scott, you had that stretch in 2024 where he was like wide receiver 19 over like the last five weeks of the year.
He had seven touchdown catches.
Baker goes.
So we got to go quarterback here.
Guys, we have to take a quarterback, period.
Yeah, we got to take quarterback golf.
This is this perfect.
Jared Goff.
Let's take Jared Goff.
Yeah, this is great.
Tyler Schott would be the other guy.
But yeah, I like God.
Oh, wow.
Yeah, that's really the end of the tier looking at this available.
That's crazy.
Okay, so this is quarter, this just goes to show you this year, it's everybody's doing two quarterback builds and somebody's going to have a three quarterback build in this one.
The Lamar team and the Trevor Lawrence team are probably going to take a quarterback with one of their two picks.
I would guess you're going to see Tyler Shuck go off the board and then, I don't know, there's not really a really appealing quarterback after Shuck.
He's like the last one.
That was a good runout for us, though, getting Jared Gough there after losing out on Baker.
I think we're looking at a wide receiver with the next pick.
That's my lean.
And I also say the Houston Texans defense is really, really appealing if they're there.
And I will say the Denver Broncos had 58 sacks last year.
And that game won, they're going up against Kansas City.
And Kansas City's got some banged up guys on the offensive line.
Denver is a machine.
I know Brett Whitefield, if he was here, he'd be saying really nice things about Houston and Denver.
I did a defense pod, Scott, did you listen to that one?
I did it.
I did a defense as one.
I did.
I think you did.
I think you might have.
I actually got a bunch of really good feedback from that one.
That was like my most research podcast.
Dude, that that crushes for clicks.
That's what people really want.
But the haters say I'll never do a defense video and the haters are right.
I did.
I did.
The defense one took me like forever to research.
It was like a ton of research.
And of the people, Theo Greminger.
We got, we're getting a call mid, midstream here for, for a, for a, he's telling him who to take.
This call, this call is not died yet.
Okay.
Top of the board for me would be Houston and Denver and then if not, we're at wide receiver.
Yeah, I'm, I don't know.
I think years prior, I was like, you know, just kind of hammering the obfries of the world and going for like these like high end defenses.
I'm not saying that, you know, I think we've kind of had this discussion before.
I'm not opposed to going defense here.
I've typically just kind of been waiting, grabbing like Jacksonville defense later,
grabbing some, you know, defenses like Baltimore who, you know, might surprise.
It's just, the board like thins out so much.
It becomes like very difficult.
I did have, I do want to ask you guys about Brian Robinson here.
You kind of hear weird things.
First, it was just, you know, he was going to be the, you know, Tyler Al Jier and had
significant workload earlier in the summer.
Then, like, you know, a couple of weeks ago is, oh, he may not make the roster.
he may not be the handcuff.
And then now you're hearing again, he's going to have the Tyler Al's your role.
And, you know, he's going to have significant contribution.
Obviously, we're not drafting him to start him, but anybody can get hurt that includes Bison
if Bijon-Robinson, if B-Jean goes down, is Brian Robinson going to be like a top 24 back?
I think that Brian Robinson is fine.
But I'll say this.
why don't we just take Malik Davis here
if you want a handcuff?
Because Dallas has basically told you
that this is the handcuff back here.
I don't, I think if,
I feel like it would be more committee.
It won't, it won't make a minute.
No, I feel like it would just be a little bit more of a committee
if it were, if that were to happen.
I don't think it would be like a significant amount of Malik Davis,
but I think I don't mind it.
I think that a wide receiver helps us out more here
because we're, we're,
this would be our fifth wide receiver.
So we're a little bit thin, even though we're great up top.
I think this is, and I see the running back run here going on.
I mean, I just think Malik Davis would be my bet at running back.
Robinson was kind of at the end of that tier.
The other guys, I'm not 100% convinced and I'd be fine.
That's like, you know, we may get nausea later.
We may get George Halani later.
Like those guys kind of fall into that like later category.
If, you know, Seth McGowan, if we're pretty convinced,
McGowan I like.
I think Matt would be my preferred,
but I'm fine with wide receiver here too.
I think so I'm okay with any of the three.
Trey Tucker, Jalen McMillan,
McMillan, Mitchell.
I think it's probably Trey Tucker or McMillan for me
because I think Adon and I might be there in the next round,
but I think they're all three really good.
I'm gonna veto Trey Tucker, but
Jalen McIllynne Mitchell, Dantavian Wix.
I would go Bill.
Is gonna outscore McCoy Lemon this year, you know?
I would say give me Chris Bell.
Chris Bell might be there next.
Yeah.
Dude, so put it in it in, we're going to miss it.
I just got it.
I just got it.
Yeah, yeah, I just say.
Okay.
He just got sniped.
No, I just took him.
No, it was a BB took him.
Okay, but I still think, oh.
I think round 16 might be another wide receiver because just like you said, this is Chris Bell, it's basically we're red shirting him.
He's not going to, it's going to be a slow ramp up.
And I remember Chris Bell where like no one was higher on Chris Bell than I was.
I called up Brett Whitefield one night and Scott, I was out for the Miami game.
And I called up Brett.
And Brett and I talk about some of these players throughout the year.
We were on, like, KC.
We were on like way early.
And I called Brett and I'm like, you know what, man?
I'm squinting.
And I have like squint and see A.J. Brown.
I'm seeing A.J. Brown.
And Brett's like he's not A.J. Brown.
But he said he is really, really good.
And I kind of walked it back.
But like Chris Bell was awesome.
And he's like 220, really explosive player, big time physical guy.
But again, this could be a tough player to hold because it's a slow runout.
we're going to want to hit the waiver wire.
So we've got to kind of be pot committed to Chris Bell, you know,
coming out of the chaos in Miami and being like the guy by week five,
which I'm fine with with this bill.
But I think we're wide receiver again in round 16, guys,
because it's, this is a six wide receiver build here.
And there goes Trey Tucker.
There goes Dantavian Wix.
Malachi Fields is flying up the board.
I was getting Malachi Fields in like round 18.
Yeah.
Now he's going here.
I think Malachi is a really fun one.
I'm doing my preseason.
in Waver Wire article. Malachi's in there for like all formats. I think he's fun.
Yeah. Especially if Malik Neighbors has any reaggravation or can't go week one.
Yeah. I'm surprised. I feel like, you know, I was kind of made this comment about a month ago.
I felt like there was going to be a buying opportunity from Malik Neighbors again because I felt
like as we got closer to the season, he's going to get real ambiguous and very confusing as to
whether or not he was going to be ready week one or even seeing any significant workload week
one. I think we're going to get load management talk. We're going to get snap management talk.
We're going to get sort of kind of a ramp up period talk. And I think that's going to cause people
to feel a little bit uncomfortable. I think when you're heading into the season and you're drafting,
people want, you know, the draft players that can like start and go and be full go day one.
people don't want to have to wait and maybe put their second round pick on the bench.
So with Malachi Fields coming up, I think the next, you know,
so kind of the next thing to happen is we see neighbors start to maybe fall a little bit,
unless it comes out that he's 100% playing week one with minimal restrictions.
Yeah, Fields is interesting.
He's really interesting.
And he's going to be on the field like the entire game.
They love him as a blocker.
And he's blocking skills are elite.
He was at Notre Dame last year with Jeremiah Love.
and Gigerian Price.
They both go in the first round.
So I don't know.
He's a fun,
fun click right now.
But there's a player that's going on drafted that I want both of you guys
take on.
Okay.
I want you to ignore any offseason news,
ignore any beat report,
just know, just focus on who the quarterback is,
focus on who the offensive coordinator is,
and focus on like the system that they're in and his competition.
Okay.
I'm going to throw out this name,
ignore anything else.
Rashad Bateman.
What are your thoughts?
It's Jacoby Lane season.
See?
I don't know.
No, I don't know.
It's Jacobi Lane.
I'll shout out, shout out my guys at Baltimore Beatdown.
My good buddy is the Baltimore beatdown guy, two of them.
And I don't know, the drum beats are fantastic with Jacoby Lane.
We've seen Rashad Bateman for a million years.
I mean, Scott, Bateman's gotten you in a little bit of trouble over over the years with his ass with his ass ability.
So Scott, you need to sit this one out.
we don't want to clip this one.
Yeah, I think it's, to me, you know, I think this is a very, very different system than what he was in.
So I don't think that he was in a system that would support two wide receivers.
Maybe one wide receiver in a tight end, but never a system that would support two wide receivers.
And I think you're getting like little tidbits.
Okay.
Their pass rate over expectation seems a little bit better than it's been in the past.
The offense, you know, is a little bit more creative.
even Bateman himself is coming out saying that, you know, he's kind of excited about what the offense has to offer.
And like, credit to Jacoby Lane, but he is the ideal, like, camp guy.
The ideal guy that, like, is going to have the camp highlights.
But who is going to be the real wide receiver to?
Who are playing is going to be drawn up for?
Not like who's going to be kind of come in and have the wow, you know, 60-yard touchdown or, you know, the jump ball in the end zone and the red zone.
but who's going to be that guy that like on a down-to-down basis,
say that this is somewhat like the Bears offense, you know,
and we have two wide receivers that we can support because I'm kind of off of Mark Andrews.
So if I'm off of Mark Andrews, there has to be a second option here.
And if, you know, I think we've just annoyed it, anointed Jacoby Lane,
but I really do think there's a chance that it could be Rashad Bateman.
Well, I mean, you could grab him in round 20.
I think he's one of those interesting round 20.
I mean, round 20 selections there be.
I like your Devon Valle love more than your love for Bate.
I like Devon Valle too.
But I also like Rashad Bateman.
I think that was persuasively argued.
I think tight end premium.
I want to throw the dart on a tight end.
I want Jalen McMillan with this next pick, guys.
I want Jailen McMillan here.
And then we're done at wide receiver.
I'll allow it.
Yeah.
Or we, I mean, not done, not done.
Because if we take a kicker,
And defense, you know, you guys, you're going to get a valet or something like that.
But I really believe in Jell and McMillan.
I think you guys are going to be happy we took them, especially in round 16, as long as we don't get sniped here.
I also want to share with you guys when we get to through this next pick.
When I did my kickers, when I would tell you guys off there because I don't think he'd want to get like revealed, like who sent me this email.
But I get a long and detailed email saying I enjoyed this kicker.
Can we take McMillan here?
Yeah.
Okay.
So let's take McMillan.
And I get this email and it was talking about an elite kicker strategy where I don't, I'm
not even going to, I'll tell you guys like the strategy, but it was like one or one high stakes
guy in FPC's been executing it for years.
And it was like such a like a well articulated email and I was really appreciated getting it.
I'm sure they're listening to this podcast.
So yeah, look forward to seeing you in Vegas and I'll make a kicker suggestion next.
next pick kind of based on it.
But it was,
it was really interesting to get that people are actually listening to those kicker,
kicker pods, which I never thought I do.
Yeah.
That's what I'm saying.
One thing I'll say here is four or two or three non kicker defense picks.
Do we have to consider starting someone in week one?
Like, is it possible there's like maybe Jake Tongis is a pick in case Kittles out?
Because who's starting in our flex week one right now?
Michael Wilson.
Yeah, Wilson's fine.
It's Wilson and Jonathan Brooks then?
Brooks is probably going to be on the bench,
but I mean, I guess a lot of depends on starters.
A lot will depend to me on Chuba Hubbard.
So Brooks could be starting if Chuba is limited.
But we have three wide receivers.
So we have our tight play week one.
You said what?
Like Bucca might not play week one.
Then we'll throw in Jill McMillan.
Yeah, McMillelman.
Go Jellal McMillan if Fibbuka doesn't play.
Yeah.
Is there a free look option we should consider?
We're doing some real deep diving, like Eli Rudin, Elijah Royo,
yeah, that's true.
I'm, I mean, with the talk of, it sounds like Eli Rurden is getting some work in the red zone.
Like, you know, maybe he falls into the end zone and has a couple of catches.
but you know i don't i'm not necessarily huge on that you know who you know who loves you know
who loves eli raritan mike showpe we took up we did a main event team together and and he's taking
he's taking raritan in every single one for that free look there goes raritan as soon as we said
his name it's i know we're not live but every time we say a guy's name he gets sniped should i
should i say this so i added a guy to the queue uh a wide receiver so there's three guys in the queue
a wide receiver.
I don't think that, you know, I don't want to consider him necessarily a handcuff,
but, you know, in this team, you'd be a handcuff.
Yeah, no, he's fine.
We definitely, the problem is I like him a lot, but we're already carrying Chris Bell,
and you're sort of like, you'd have sort of a, yeah, so it's hard to carry these sort of guys.
So I think if we had drafted this team three months ago and we were doing waivers,
we would be struggling on whether or not we had anybody that was worth cutting,
even after week one, I think.
But when we're drafting now, there's going to be so many guys that, like, after week one,
like, I don't know, my mindset is that probably four or five these guys on this team are going to get cut.
We're going to, like, re-evaluate week one, and then we're going to hit waivers pretty quickly because we're going to see trends.
I'll say this, Abib, just looking at the guys you and Scott have in the queue,
it makes sense for me here in round 17 to take a prefer.
defense or take a preferred kicker.
The Chargers have
two great streaming options
early in the year. If you like, they're the best
streaming defense and we have them
against Arizona in week one.
And I think they have like two other good matchups early.
They'd probably
be the defense. And if not, if not
Jacksonville gets that week one against
Deshawn Watson and Cleveland. I think
either one of those guys would be good.
And I think if you want to go with a potential
Exodia kicker, Cam Little
could be this year's version of Brandon Aubrey if it all
goes his way. If that offense regresses a little bit,
and they want Cam Little to kick 60-yarders, kick 70-yarders.
I think that means something to Liam Cohen. They're aggressive with him,
and we get six points for a 60-yard field goal in FFPC.
So Cam Little or a defense would be my pick here in the 17th,
and then we can go deep with some of these guys you have in the queue.
I love the Exodia kicker here, Cam Little. I think you're exactly right.
Like the guys that Abe and I put in here,
very good chance they're there around 19, 20.
I would say let's go Jags defense.
Okay, so let's take Jags defense.
Hold on.
Hold on.
Let me just see the defenses.
Well, the Chargers defense, if we look, we're OTC here, guys.
We got 43 seconds, but look at the Chargers' early season schedule.
You get multiple matchups, including week one.
Jacksonville forced a lot of turnovers last year, which was a real benefit to that defense.
I heard some amazing things from Ryan Pagnetti on Cam Little.
Cam Little has a thing.
Will Reichert is the other potential.
Zodia kicker. That's the guy. That's the guy.
So we'll, so let's put in a defense.
So Beeb and Scott, you guys decide.
Jacksonville or Chargers?
Jacks, they're going into the Brown's defense.
Okay, that's fine. So let's take, let's take the, uh, put, let's put the
Jacksonville defense. We'll put them in. Jacksonville and LA are your streaming defenses.
And if you're listening to this podcast, um, if you get completely stuck, you can chase
the Tennessee New York game. The Jets Tennessee game.
just be the slug fest where bad things happen to both offenses yeah and kicker wise so kicker we
do have the option of a free look uh i really like so i usually go for like the san francisco kicker
because he can kick pretty long field goals what about the thicker kicker what about the thicker
kicker mevis dick or the kicker no the thicker kicker you mean for the rams yeah mevis you get
the free look there too the rams so i want an offense that's good
but just not amazing.
Because if they're amazing, like the Lions or the Rams,
they just score too many touchdowns.
And then you get a couple of field goals here and there,
but they just score too many touchdowns.
So you want an offense that's good enough.
That's why Real Reichert is good or amazing because he plays in a dome.
He has a leg that not a lot of people are aware of, okay?
And the offense is going to be just good enough and serviceable of,
and the defense is going to be just good enough to where we should see a lot of field goals.
And I think that their head coach tends to be.
be a little bit more conservative with just like let's try to get points same thing with the
houston texan kicker like he's a very conservative okay you know it's it's fourth and three let's go kick
a field goal you know whereas the jags you know leon kohm i'm a little bit worried that he goes forward
on fourth down a little bit more than i like but he does have a leg so i don't have any issue with
little either just depending on do we want the free look or do we want to go you know with a big leg
So I have some good stats for you.
Will Reichard, Scott, was 11 of 13 from 50 yards last year.
Wow.
Not bad.
Not bad.
And we think that the offense is going to move the ball with Kyler, but do they sputter out
and like Abeeb said, get a bunch of field goals instead of touchdowns, maybe?
Collar's tail goal in the red zone, too.
That was like a kind of a little bit of a cheekhole for a while in Arizona.
He was really bad in the red zone.
So you would just get tons of field goals.
if he was going up against a bad defense with his kicker.
Like, I mean, we get in the weeds with these streaming kickers and defense.
It's not fun to do, but it is an edge.
Yeah, go check out my kickers podcast that I put out there.
Dozens of people enjoyed that one.
It's in the queue.
That in the defense is in the queue.
Appreciate that, Abbe, thank you.
Scott Barrett, the hater, wants to ban both positions for his.
Well, that's because Scott is not doing waivers,
and he's not having a stream and pick up kickers and defenses.
Right now, I feel like, I feel like,
it's the breaking bad meme or he's in the car shouting where like you won't let me have any of my
guys and I feel like you're both drafting off of just July FFPC. You got David Montgomery tonight.
You got David Montgomery. Yeah. Yeah. After you made me forego Parker Washington in the preview,
I had to choose between my two sons. One dies. One gets to live. So I'll never forgive you for doing that.
But hey, I just want to say like, hey, I have it easy here. I have the waiver wire goat.
The two waiver-wire goats.
And so, yeah, this is going to be easy for me in season.
Actually, Theo's not just a waiver-wire goat.
He's also the NFL mock draft goat.
I am.
I'm the best mock drafter in the entire country.
That's, top 10, two years ago, and then first overall, Mel Kuiper, Daniel Jeremiah,
they're all in complete shambles.
That's insane.
That's a fantasy guy finished number one.
I mean, listen, guys.
That's insane.
It's just another thing.
You put your mind to it.
you believe in something and you make it happen.
That's just,
you know,
that's just like,
I've had this conversation with a lot of people.
We have reached a point,
an inflection point where the fantasy community has outpaced the NFL community.
Because of,
because one,
you know,
our livelihood,
not a livelihood,
but,
you know,
we're investing a lot of money and energy
into trying to be right,
you know,
and not necessarily that receipts don't matter that much,
but receipts matter,
but also wins matter.
It makes a big,
you know, if I, if I'm wrong, then I lose a lot of money.
So I feel like the fantasy community is outpaced the NFL non-fancy community by quite a bit
as far as knowledge and being able to project and determine who is going to, you know,
sorry, hello.
Bro, I had the sickest tweet about me a week ago.
A former NFL director of analytics said I was better at a prospect analysis than sitting NFL GMs.
I agree with that, man.
Dude, the fantasy community has gotten shit all over for a really long time,
not respected, viewed as lesser than.
But yeah, we're the ones with the skin in the game.
And, and yeah, like, dude, like you listen to some of these interviews
or you hear stories of some of these GMs,
and it's just like, they're just like absolute Dave Gettelman,
just absolute dinosaurs stuck in the Stone Ages.
You know, I don't want to glaze myself and the fantasy community too much.
There's a lot of idiots, too.
and you know, myself included.
But yeah, I think it's about time.
We put some respect.
Shout out to Ryan Pagnetti, a former NFL director of analytics who does that.
Who really gives the fantasy community its day in the spotlight.

We are two picks away from a dream kicker landing spot
getting Cam Little in round 18 though, guys.
Round 18.
You okay with Adam, B?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, no issues with that.
Like, we have a, most of these guys
may not even get drafted that are in our Q.
So we can, we can go, we can go for it.
I love it.
Kim little with a 68 yard field goal that would have been 6.8 points for us in this format.
Wow not bad.
Not bad at all one pick one pick away.
Dude these edge picks matter in a where you're trying to smash through the I mean you're winning teams.
Abib how good were the defense and kicker or were you still streaming at that point?
Well, Bebe didn't have a kicker in the lineup when he won the first one Scott.
His kicker was out and he still won it.
Tell me that story again.
Yeah, I just didn't have an extra kicker.
And the kicker, like, got, I don't know, got injured or kicked off the team or something.
It just didn't have a kicker.
So I was like, out of a million dollars.
I mean, honestly, you know, I am someone.
I just don't pay attention until like the very end.
Not like I'm not paying attention to my team, but I'm not, I don't ever like really look at ranking boards or leader boards or anything like that.
So I wasn't really aware until I was going into that last week anyway.
But yeah, it's not something that is ideal.
by any means to not have a kicker.
Cam, Cam Little, guys, this is the Cam Little pick.
Yeah, let's do it.
Let's get it. This is great value.
Big leg, good stuff.
So, Abed, this team right now, where would it rank among all the teams you're drafted
in terms of how much you like it?
Is it 60th percentile?
Is it 70th percentile?
So I would put it in the category of a zero RBE.
build. So, you know, taking that into account because those are not comfortable builds
unless you're like in a three wide receiver start format. So with that in mind, it's up there.
I like it. Again, I love the fact that when we're going to do zero RB, you know, right now the
elite QB is somewhat out of phase. I don't know how much of an advantage that offers, but having
the elite tight in, you know, right? So we don't need an elite RB because we have an elite tight end
that could potentially outscore everyone else's RB, you know, at the back end of the board.
I like our wide receivers.
Who we took into Forrest Brown and wide receiver was always going to be a little bit uncomfortable.
But that's the, that's like the JSN pick.
You know, nobody was comfortable taking JSN last year.
So that's the JSN pick.
Could have been Parker Washington, possibly, but maybe it's an Egbuka.
And again, really only matters that last three weeks.
We just need to get there.
The rest of the runout, I love.
I absolutely love because these running backs were going higher just a month ago,
and there's nothing to say that these RBs can't be extraordinarily valuable.
I like that we solidified the Green Bay backfield,
which historically has put out a top 12, top 10 running back.
So we have some firepower there.
And then we got some Yugbugs.
I mean, we got, you know, having Jonathan Brooks just in the waiting and not having to start him is great.
you're super high on David Montgomery.
So if he is the bell cow,
if that offensive line is indeed better,
blocking it up better,
and the defense is as strong as it was last year,
I mean, he falls in the end zone 12 to 13 times.
Like, we're solid.
We are solid.
And we have some great guys on our bench waiting in the wings too as well.
I think we're great.
I think we're great.
I like our quarterbacks.
I think this team is really, really good.
So it would be up there for sure.
are we we're rolling with probably i mean we get the free look with brock purdy as well which is a nice
thing did you guys see that the um the rams are going to fly to australia one day before the game
yeah well i yeah wild so ufc fighters have to do this constantly and and that's something that you've
said is like it's optimal to go either really early or really late uh 24 hours i mean like
if you can't fall asleep on that plane like that's rough like i i i'd i i'd i
I don't know what the line is based on just this news,
but I feel like it should tip at least a point in San Francisco's favor.
There's gotta be, I mean, there's data on teams traveling across country.
Yeah, it's a huge disadvantage.
I mean, it's both teams in this instance, but it's.
Has San Francisco ever had, has San Francisco had any?
Oh, go ahead, go ahead.
I think, I think I like your Devon Veilet in the Q.
here, Abib. I know we wanted them last
draft. That would be my pick.
Which way do you want to go?
I threw Sam Darnold in there for the
free look. I threw Sam Darnold for the free look
in case we get some random
big, I would go Evan Ingraham, Jacob
Sailors. Maybe
I don't mind sailors. I don't mind sailors
is like a dart throw if you're
a believer. Otherwise, I'm fine with
Belay too as well. My only issue with Bayle is
once Tyson comes back then, you know,
is there upside?
No, it's what we might get eight weeks of them, though.
Yeah, that's the thing.
He might be servicing.
This is also a team that kind of needs early season points.
Like if Jonathan Brooks takes a while, if, all right, well, give me the last pick, please.
I beg you guys.
Let me, let me feel like I had some say on this team.
Absolutely.
I'll just, I'll just throw the, Scott, if you're searching for a free look, I mean, I think you could do worse free looks than the Super Bowl champion.
and quarterback just to watch that first game.
And if he has some massive, massive scoring game, you never know the way these
games go.
Yeah.
What if, what if Jemir Gibbs tears his ACL and then Jacob Saylars goes for $999 and Fab?
So I wasn't joking when I called you guys the waiver wire goats.
Looking at this team and the build, how would you be thinking about waiver wire the first
few weeks?
That's the tough one.
because it's probably,
Velae is the one who probably gets the short end of the stick
unless his usage is tremendous week one,
which it could be.
And then you might have to have a hard conversation about Chris Bell.
The other thing is there's potential that we get a Shanahan like rugpole
and it's Jordan James running well ahead of Kaelin Black
and we have that conversation.
So like we'll find a player to cut.
But yeah,
anybody who's,
and this goes for home leagues too,
Like the worst week to sit out of waivers and just say I'm good and I'm going to sit on my fab, week one, week two.
Because you have to pay attention to the usage, the snap counts, all that stuff matters a lot in week one.
So you don't want to like sit it out.
I know that it's sort of like I'm going to let everybody else use their fab early and like kind of hold out and hope that a guy emerges.
But it doesn't always happen that way.
A lot of times when we look back like the best 10 waiver wire ads of the year, like four or five of them come out in the first week.
or two. Yeah, and we're going to be wrong.
Like, we're, like, we're going to be just like the entire fantasy community, the NFL
community, the sports betting community, like we're going to be so wrong on so many different
things. So it's, you know, who can auto correct, uh, and adjust the quickest is like the most
important thing. And, you know, as I mean, this is, you know, drafting now is almost like kind of
doing that first waiver wire run. And really, I just want to get guys that are going to be at the top
of the this is this year or this week's waiver ad like this is the top waiver ad for this week
just trying to get ahead of it like that was a whole idea behind poca that's like ended up with so
much puka or so much you know a fan in this you just saw a scenario where like their usage was
just going to be something that was going to be really noticeable and then after that it was just
going to be almost impossible to get these guys so try to get them before the game start before
you know guys get a good look at them which is why I'm kind of looking at guys who you know
maybe aren't getting a lot of buzz right now, but, you know, have the potential to be,
you know, in starting lineup, seeing a lot of snaps in, it might surprise. So that's,
that's, that's what I'm looking for as I'm drafting these last players.
What was your this year's Travis Etienne, Abe, or was it Marshaun Lloyd?
It was not Marshaun Lloyd. I think it was, it was Jonathan Brooks for a while because just for a while
he was going in an eighth round, which is perfect. You're drafting him as a
bench player waiting in the wings you know at that time it was pretty likely that he was at least
going to be in an RBBC so that that's kind of who my ETN has been for the most part but I don't know
this this year everybody's been pretty pretty smart the market's been pretty accurate I feel
like and a lot of the values that you know or the guys that I was just able to hammer throughout
the entire draft season have moved up board I mean the fact that Terence Ferguson is going at the
eight, nine turn is just insane.
Like, this is just absolutely insane.
So, not a lot of guys.
I think, you know, for me, I would just have to kind of show you my ownership percentage
because it has fluctuated with the board and who I'm drafting, you know, now versus
who I was drafting in August versus May versus February.
I remember you showed it to me in July.
It was like the first year we weren't perfectly aligned.
Maybe I'm misremembering it, but it felt like that.
or at least how i'm remembering it now but but certainly jonathan brooks one of them in home
leagues if anyone's listening new to ffpc like in home leagues you could still get jonathan uh
brooks at those bargain basement level prices um ffpc generally generally sharply
i'll throw out a free look player that's interesting just because my guys went by the way
you keep lying to me and saying they're going to fall i'm so i'm so sorry that we were sniped on
Evan Engram is going to cost us a million dollars there.
I think that the guy, the guy that is what you said last year about Camp Scataboo
and doubtful and Scott, you don't, you don't want to be flag planning Evan
Ingram as your big as your big tight end target.
Around 20 Evan Ingram, dude, the beats are losing their minds over it.
The beats are talking about Evan Ingram.
He's a more athletic, Brock Bowdo.
Okay, hold us again.
Scott, they're not interested in Pat, but you're not interested in Pat Bryant,
who all the beats think is amazing, but you,
want Evan Engram coming off of like a dust season. I mean, I guess they got rid of Justin Jolly.
The new OC talks about him like a son. I don't think this is silly, but it's happening.
They fight together.
It's his friend. It's his friend. Yeah. Scott. Yeah. So, so you have the the teammate connection.
They did release. They did release the rookie. Evan Ingram has just the bodies are buried.
Okay. Evan Ingram has blackmail on the O.C. And you want to fade him in round 20.
Well, I do want to suggest Colby Parkinson as a free look.
I think Sam Donald and Colby Parkinson are just sitting there as free looks.
Yeah, that's fine.
Do you have a preference?
It's a free look for you.
Oh, my preference is easily Rashad Bateman.
So then let's take Bateman.
20th round doesn't matter here.
He's probably not going to get drafted.
You'll probably be on waivers.
But if week one comes out with everybody doing usage reports and they're like, oh my God,
Rashad Bateman is the starter.
and he's playing all the snaps
and he gets six, seven targets
that game and score the touchdown,
he's going to be the number one waiver at.
Shout out to Ryan Heath.
A little Ryan Heath.
He's probably not going to get at it.
Bro, if Abee didn't say a word about Rashad Bateman
and it was me saying the exact same words,
I would be getting lampooned by Theo right now.
He would want no part of Rashad Bham.
No, he was like, oh, Rashad Bateman is like,
we got to take, we got to take Bateman here.
We got to take the ass guy.
We talked about this when we drafted together.
Abeeb has conviction conviction.
If you have conviction of somebody in the 20th round, it's perfectly fine.
I had conviction in the 20th round.
I had conviction the 19th round and the 18th.
Okay, this one of the guy.
There's one of the guy.
There's one of the guy, since we're on the click.
David and Joku, okay, because my whole thing with Charlie Kohler is he's there to block.
He's going to be on the field a lot, but he's there to block.
I love Gadsden, but it may be.
Njoku who's the receiving tight end there or who see who runs the most routes or sees the most
receptions. It's worth it's worth looking at seeing like the usage in L.A. I think Kolar or
and Joku could be a big waiver wire ad potentially after the usage week one. And if you have conviction
on Njoku, go for it. It's fine. I'd rather bait, man. I think I think that was a more persuasive
argument. I think no matter what it's going to be a split committee. John O Smith. Will Smith.
No. Johnny Smith.
John Smith.
Yeah.
Remember here you came out of nowhere.
Nine seconds, nine seconds.
James Connor?
James Connor.
Put it in Joku or or Bateman, your call.
Okay.
So I'll just take Bateman for us.
Okay, cool.
Or someone else took him.
I missed it.
But dude, imagine if Zay Flowers goes down.
We now have, we now have the main event high of Rashad Bateman in main events.
We set the record.
No, you know, because I've taken them in a 19th.
I know I'm messing with you I've messed with you I've been we got the made event high there we
we set another record Scott we might have gotten the main event high of Chris Bell though
Chris Bell at the 1505 is worth checking yeah I like setting records did we get that yeah I think we
might have let's uh let's scroll up to the top guys let's scroll up to the top are you gonna do your
thing Theo I have to I have to you're so good at it it's like a rare I can't do it okay
so this is the easiest this is the this is the best team
for narratives here.
Brock Bowers averages 22 points a game in PPR scoring,
breaks all of Trey McBride's records from last season,
becomes the first tight end since Travis Kelsey in 2020
to average 20 plus points per game.
He gets this year's version of JSN,
easy league winner.
We got them at five.
AJ Brown leads the NFL in touchdown catches.
He gets 15 touchdown catches,
1,350 receiving yards.
The chalk stack pays off,
and AJ Brown finished.
as a top three wide receiver.
George Pickens does just what he did last year.
He outscores CD Lamb,
finishes as a top six wide receiver just like last year,
17 and a half points per game.
Easy, easy, easy click.
He outscores Jamar Chase this year, Theo.
Don't understand.
We're talking about a million dollars.
I can't go against my guy Chase.
I can't go against my,
can't go against my guy Chase.
Can't go against my guy Chase.
Ameca,
150 plus targets,
105 receptions.
The toe is nothing.
He has 10 touch.
touchdown catches. He's a top 15 pick next year. And we get another wide receiver one. This is like a tight end one overall and three wide receiver ones. David Montgomery falls in the end zone 12 times. The Woody Marks enthusiasts are in complete shambles and utter disarray. It's Joe Mixen, 24 all over again for David Montgomery. plays all 17 games, does well in the playoffs for us, 12 rushing touchdowns. Marshawn Lloyd gets some of that Aaron Jones type usage. Marshaun Lloyd can.
continues the trend of Matt LaFleur running backs finishing as RB ones,
finishes as the running back 12th.
Six out of seven years, guys.
He makes it seven out of eight years.
Marshawn Lloyd running back 12 overall, an unbelievable year for him.
Jonathan Brooks, the next Dave Canales running back, top 18 score.
Oh, we go top 15 for this team.
Top 15 score at the running back position has 60 catches this year.
It's Tedero Macmillan and Jonathan Brooks.
It's tons of consolidation.
They overcome anything with the offensive line and Bryce Young.
Jonathan Brooks is a top 20 running back and we get him in round seven.
Michael Wilson does a lot.
Michael Wilson outscores Marvin Harrison Jr.
He's a top 20 wide receiver, ends up parlaying it into a huge contract.
And a beat, we now have, I think, two Michael Wilson shares together in main events.
And Scott, we now have two Michael Wilson shares in main events.
So he better deliver for us.
Rashad White is this year's version somewhere in between this year's version of Kenneth
Gainwell and this year's version of Giovante Williams is Rashad White.
Jacori Kroski Merritt's banged up now.
It lingers throughout the year.
Rashad White, Jaden Daniels friend, the locker room narrative, the shower narrative,
all the narratives are in play.
Rashad White has 60 catches this year for the commanders and is a very solid player for us.
Josh Jacobs doesn't do anything, but it doesn't matter because Marshawn Lloyd is our guy,
but we have that insurance just in case.
Marshaun Lloyd becomes this year's version of James Connor when Levi-on-Bel sat out.
That's the narrative.
That's a good comp, Theo.
Brenton Strange top 12 score at the tight end position.
Brock Purdy, Jared Goff.
Jared Goff ends up having 40 touchdown passes this year, and Brock Purdy ends up finishing as a top six score.
The only problem with this team is we never know who to start.
at the quarterback position.
Christian McCaffrey takes a trip to Germany in week nine.
The stiffness lingers, and we get six starts out of Kaelin Black,
including in the playoffs.
Chris Bell ends up leading all Miami wide receivers in fantasy points.
It takes him a while, but he looks good.
He looks like that player that should have been the first round.
Jalen McMillan, eight touchdown catches this year.
Chris Godwin goes down with an injury,
and we get Jelen McMillan and Egg Puka going nuts.
Jaguars defense top three in the league.
This is where it all comes together, Theo, this stack.
And we get 25.
Yeah.
And we get Abeeb's week one defense here.
It's a one week starting, starting role for Deshaun Watson.
He's done after a week because once he goes up against this Jacksonville defense,
Jacksonville has three scores, two pick sixes.
And they find another way to get their fumble recovery.
They end up scoring like 25 points for us in week one.
So we get a nice 25 point there.
Cam Little finishes as the kicker one overall.
Brandon Aubrey drafters are in complete and utter disarray
when Cam Little sets the NFL record with the most 60-yarders in the season.
And he gets a 72-yard field goal as well, guys, when it matters most for us.
And then, Abib, you can do the Rashad Bateman one.
Yeah, I mean, this is quite simple.
The offense is now in the hands of Lamar.
This is no longer a run-first offense.
This is Lamar's return to MVP status.
This is the Baltimore Ravens return to NFL greatness.
This is their Super Bowl year.
And yeah, it starts off with Zay Flowers.
Stae Flowers is the man.
He's earning that contract.
Zayflowers is not the biggest man.
Okay, Zayflowers succumbs to some soft tissue injury.
And that none other than the ass God himself,
the ass God himself carries us.
to victory and is earning double digit targets down the stretch.
And he's uncoverable.
He's unguarable.
And he is what is needed to take home that championship at the end of the year.
I love it, guys.
We don't have to do waivers once.
Every, every pick is a, this is great.
We're still going to do waivers.
We're still going to do waivers.
Do you want to know what my favorite thing about this team is?
It's that it doesn't have Wondell Robinson on it.
I would rather cut my.
handoff with a hacksaw, then win a million dollars with Wondell Robinson.
Well, Abbe's going to end up with a bunch of Wondell.
So I'm sure Abe's going to place one of those Wondell teams pretty highly.
That's why.
That's why.
You came around on Wondell last year, Scott.
You capitulated on school of God.
I just enjoy hating him.
It's just so much more fun.
I have the same date for Dalton Schultz as a Texans fan.
Oh, there you go.
So I feel it's it.
Yeah.
that was uh this was a lot of fun this is two main events uh for me with abeb awesome stuff and then
scott i think your your beer gets bigger every time we draft it's like a tall boy last time
show it to everyone it's massive is that is that a 40 is that a 40 or 40 ounce can you haven't
heard you sell footlong beer now so by the time with scott's going to be back on
uh fantasy points drafting a team or excuse me on rhodel wire with rich rebar and i drafting a 350
It's going to be like Scott with like a bottle in a paper bag by the time we get to that one.
I'll tell you what, I'll turn it into a drinking game.
Every time you recommend some guy who sucks, I'll have to do a shot.
It's one o'clock in the afternoon.
And I'll say like a one o'clock in the afternoon draft.
So I don't think it'll be a drinking one.
Abib, we had our team last year, the three of us.
And I think that team was in the top 10 for a lot of weeks.
This team is fun.
This team could really run pure.
really looking forward to this one.
I love the golf pick in round 14.
I think that might be like the best value that we got.
Yeah, it's a strong team.
I mean, it's a strong team.
We didn't reach a lot of guys fell to us.
I mean, you know, I think it doesn't feel good now,
but we drafted this team, I'm telling you, a month ago,
like this would have been, this team would have felt amazing.
Like, this team would have felt amazing.
And I feel like this team has a real shot at it.
And we have, we got some guys.
guys waiting in the wings, we have some nice depth. We're set. We're solid. I mean, if this team
is not contending, I'd kind of be shocked. I'd be shocked that we weren't, we didn't pass
the playoffs into the turning. You laid up the million dollar case. If this team doesn't make
the playoffs, what happens? It's a Brock Bowers injury, and we just don't have a tight end?
It's got to be. I mean, I get all the Mike Washington love, but I also don't get it. And if
if Ashton Genties really hurt, and we're talking about it.
about, you know, Washington coming in.
This is, this is, this is, this is, this is, this is, this is bad, this is
bowers. This offense is bowers. It's all bowers. Okay. And you saw when, like,
what was behind Kyle Pitts dominating last year? A large part of that was, you know,
his quarterback, Kirk Cousins, leaning on them. So I think early on to start the year,
it's going to be a lot of Kirk Cousins getting Brock Bowers a ball. And when the
rookie comes in, who's he going to lean on? It's going to be leaning on Brock
Bauer. So this offense is going through Bork Bowers. And if anything, if we do anything,
let's trust in their head coach. When does he ever let us down? When does he ever let us down?
Yeah, I love, I mean, everybody knows I'm a Bauer's guy. I mean, I think Bauer's this year,
it's, I'm so happy that we got a Bauer's exposure in the main event. Scott, you said you have two of
them. I think Bauer's teams are going to do very, very well. I really, like, it's not hyperbole.
I think he could go nuts. And I think it's an outside chance that he leads the NFL and
catches this year and he has more catches than like any of the wide receivers. So I'm all in.
I think it's a great one there. I want to say there's one last thing about Bowers that I think
nobody talks about, you know, and kind of, you know, talking about Scott as far as like
losing the edge of tight in by going tight in early. The one caveat to that is not only that Brock
Bowers just, you know, scores 300 points plus, but what if we do see the trade McBride regression
that everybody's baking in? What if Tyler Warren is just good, but not
great. What if Colston Loveland is just good, but not great? And so I think the one way that he really
breaks fantasy is that he's kind of doing what Kelsey did those years prior where he was just far and above
the best tight end, kind of like Trey McRide last year. He just lapped the field when it came to that
position. And so from a positional edge standpoint, we are just destroying the field when it comes to
the tight end position. And then we're still able to like lead and and keep up with the field and
exceed the field when it comes to wide receivers and now we're just you know sort of kind of making
sure that our running backs can eventually towards the back in the year creep into that uh low end rb one
to put us over the top abe talk about scott's scott's uh not going to give you an opportunity to talk
about first and 15 so i'm gonna interrupt the host and we want to i want to shout out day we we we
we we've got we we've each been on first and 15 i think we're two of the only guess you've ever had on
which is a massive, massive compliment.
I know you guys don't love the guest shows,
but I had a chance to go on with you guys.
So did Scott.
And I said this the other day.
I've said this on multiple shows of mine over at Rotowire
because I'm doing a ton of high stakes content over there.
First and 15 and Fantasy Empire.
Those are your two shows.
First and 15 crushes it.
It's a great show.
You guys are friends.
You guys have good, strong arguments.
And you all have a ton of skin in the game.
Like, Deo is a great manager as well.
who's had a number of teams finish very, very highly.
What do you guys have coming up the rest of the offseason before the season starts?
Yeah, I think we'll do a show a week and then maybe a draft a week leading up into the season.
And then once we're in season, you know, we're pretty much just grinding.
Obviously, everybody kind of has kids.
Everybody has their own, you know, medical practices or law practices.
Chris is, you know, becoming a pilot.
So it's.
Chris, Chris, Chris is living a movie.
right now. Yeah, yeah. Everybody's kind of doing their own thing, but, you know, underneath it
all, we all love football. And really, that's what the show is. You know, we're not, we're not really,
you know, we're not into analytics. We're not, you know, trying to give advice. There's nothing
fiduciary on the show. So, you know, we say something and you, and you implement it and it doesn't
work out. That's on you. But really what the show is, it's, yeah, like you said, it's guys who have
invested heavily and who just enjoy talking out loud and enjoy discussion. And if you kind of listen to
the show, a lot of people kind of bring this up and it's really what it is, is you will hear me,
like, make an argument for a player that I really don't like. But all I'm doing is I'm trying
to, like, argue as hard as I can. And if I can't get them to agree or to, you know, at least sort of
kind of, you know, give me a little bit of a head nod, then I know that that argument was worthless,
you know, and then I know I need to either do a little bit more of a deeper dive on this player or I
need to move off of this player. So it's kind of a great way for us to like talk.
through players. And, you know, we, you know, we try to dive as deep as we can,
taking in a lot of the content that you guys put out. But yeah, from a high stake standpoint,
if you guys are looking to kind of get in FFBC, definitely check us out. But I feel like we
offer a lot of insight for even, you know, a lot of the other leagues. And then, yeah,
shout out to Dan, Fantasy Empire. That's another great format too as well. You know,
if you're doing fantasy this day, especially if you're doing any type of volume,
you want to be listening to everybody. I mean, fantasy.
points is great, especially I tell people this all the time. I'm like, if you need data,
if you're someone who's like data oriented, go to fantasy points. Like you don't need to worry
about listening to the pot because a lot of people these days don't really want to listen to pot.
They want the data. They want to be able to make their own determination. You go to fantasy points.
If you want data, you go to fantasy points. And then you can make your own conclusion. You can make
your own arguments and you can really dive into it. So if you want just, you know, you're just,
you're a runner. You know, you're in the car and you just need something fed to you. You need high
value content, Theo is your guy.
Go listen to Theo. Go listen to Theo.
And then if you just want a little bit of entertainment,
you want something light, you want some like, you know,
just, you know, 30 minutes on like a deep dive
in a one small little topic.
You just want something that's a break from kind of, you know,
some of the more high, you know, highly dense fantasy content.
Come over to fantasy or come over to First and 15th.
We, you know, we love to have you.
Check us out on YouTube and Apple Paws.
And I got the- I wasn't joking. I think Abed is one of the greatest fantasy players of all time.
I have a ton of respect for Deo. Yeah, it's crazy. Like, it's a bunch of surgeons and lawyers and pilot lawyers.
What is, what is, what, what, what law practice does, does Chris practice? Is he, what is it, what kind of cases is, is he doing? It's got to be an exciting one. I don't know, but he's actually Supreme Court justice now.
