Week 12, fantasy football, top 10 takeaways,
instant reactions, breaking news,
and the injuries you needed to know about
right here at fantasy points.
Let's get it.
what what what why you shaking your head you're welcome what what's going on theo greminger fantasy football daily on the fantasy points podcast network and fantasy points youtube wild wild week 12 so far recording this one with monday night football still pending so a lot still to go
I mean, Christian McCaffrey could end up having a 60-point week, but he probably won't.
So it's time to celebrate Jemir Gibbs.
Jemir Gibbs, we've talked about him on multiple shows of the last couple weeks as the potential RB1 overall, like in the second half of the season.
One of the players that could challenge Jonathan Taylor, Christian McCaffrey, in like the hierarchy for the teams that are the most dangerous when you get to that three-week piece.
period at the end of the year that decides most fantasy football leagues.
Gibbs is unbelievable.
He's been unbelievable.
Last year, anyone that had him, you know, you absolutely had a chance to win your league
with Jemir Gibbs last season.
He was completely dominant over the second half of last year.
And it's looking like he's going to ramp up in that kind of level this year and maybe
then some.
The Giants Lions game was one of the most entertaining games.
of the entire day.
Most DFS contests were decided, like the big overall ones, were
Jamis Winston at quarterback, people using Wondell, people using Amon-Ross-St.
Brown, and of course, people using Jemir Gibbs.
Unbelievable performance.
So we could talk about James.
He was awesome.
Classic James Winston, big performance game.
Wondell Robinson having a tremendous season.
Jameson Williams, big disappointment in this one,
came back down to Earth after running Pure for a few weeks.
zero-pointer. Amon-Ross St. Brown, completely dominant. But the story of the day is Jemir Gibbs
rescued the Lions from what would have been a catastrophic loss. Gibbs was special in this one.
And we don't want to throw that word around, but this game was special. Gibbs had 219 rushing yards
and two rushing touchdowns on only 15 carries. And explosive long runs in this one, like early and late.
was amazing in this. Also added 11 catches for 45 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries.
So three touchdowns and he had over 264 total yards. Gibbs scored the 11th most
PPR points by a running back all time, all time in any week in NFL history, 55 points
yesterday. Unbelievable performance. This was the most fantasy points scored since Alvin Kamara's
legendary 2020 fantasy football championship week five touchdown game. Kamara back in 2020,
if you were playing fantasy, Alvin Kamara, that was the game. Alvin Kamara had that five
touchdown game, decided weeks, decided fantasy leagues. Kamara took home all the money for people.
And it's sort of fitting the Jemir Gibbs reaches it because when you look at players like Christian McCaffrey, Alvin Kamara, who gave us this sort of excessive two-way ability where you had basically wide receiver-like qualities with the ball in your hands as a pass catcher and explosive big runs.
They're all about the same size player.
It's unbelievable.
Gibbs is on that track where when we're talking about the number one overall pick in
26, Gibbs has to be there.
And a shout out to the Jamar Chase people, they're going to have their say.
A shout out to the Jackson Smith and Jigma people, they're going to have their say.
And there's going to be a few other running backs.
Jonathan Taylor certainly is going to have his say.
But the impediment for Jemir Gibbs has always been David Montgomery.
David Montgomery is that one player that was sort of in the way of Gibbs having.
number one pick this year and sort of that argument where David Montgomery is a
player that Ben Johnson used a lot, Dan Campbell used a lot, John Morton used a lot of times,
but there's been a significant shift this season and Jemir Gibbs is just completely, completely
locked in. Incredible run-of-play for him, multiple big games this season. Again, we're talking
about a top 11 overall in NFL history high score. And if we're looking at simply
Since 2000, it's like top seven of all time.
So Jemir Gibbs, unbelievable performance.
And here's a stat for everybody.
There was a great running back one time in Detroit.
Even the, not just the old heads like myself have heard about him.
Everybody knows Barry Sanders.
Barry Sanders is sort of like the litmus test for running backs.
When people talk about the all-time great running backs,
you could talk to somebody in their 70s, in their 60s, in their 50s,
in their 40s, and you ask them, who's the best running back of all time in the NFL?
They'll mention Barry Sanders as one of them.
Barry Sanders, electric, electric player, you know, for people of a certain age.
But here's a stat for everybody.
Detroit Lions fans, a shout out to everybody in Detroit.
In the first three seasons in the NFL, Barry Sanders had 43 touchdowns,
and that's receiving and rushing touchdowns, 43 total touchdowns in 46 career games.
So 43 for Barry Sanders in 46 career games.
Jemir Gibbs now has 44 touchdowns in 43 career games.
So he's scoring touchdowns at a higher clip than Barry Sanders
through the first three years of their career.
Unbelievable.
Jemir Gibbs at one point might also be a Hall of Famer,
might be in Canton right next to Barry Sanders.
Unbelievable performance for Jemir Gibbs.
Talking about Jackson Smith and Jigba.
We talk about him all the time on this.
show, because how could we not?
Jamar Chase was suspended yesterday, and I think any hope of the Jamar Chase managers
having a big smash week and sort of making a real run here to be the wide receiver
one overall in consecutive seasons, that ship sort of sailed here with JSN's just
dominant performance.
Jackson Smith and Jigba has eight catches, 167 yards, and two scores on 10 targets.
that's the season high in receiving yardage for JSN.
Unbelievable consistency in his fantasy scoring.
A lot of times you get these wide receivers and you deal with peaks and you deal with valleys,
you deal with dips.
But at JSN, it's been just ridiculous consistency.
Seven straight games with 20 points or more, just ridiculous consistency.
The Sam Darnold JSN connection is real.
He supported him all season long, and a shout out to Sam Darnold.
We'll talk about him in a little bit, but JSN is averaging 23.2 points per game now,
and he broke Seattle's single season receiving yards record, which was held by D.K. Metcalf.
So JSN goes over 1,300 receiving yards on the season, and there's room for a lot more.
And it was another insane target share game for him.
40% target share.
This is like ridiculous, ridiculous usage when it comes to JSN.
He's got multiple games this season with 50% plus target share.
I mean, the guy is on an unheard of streaker, not necessarily unheard of historically,
but it's an unheard of streak when you're talking about where he was drafted.
You've got JSN as a third round pick.
We can't stress that enough.
You could have drafted poorly and still won your league by taking JSN in round three.
Take Jonathan Taylor in round two.
JSN in the beginning of round three.
Not a bad runout if you took those two guys.
You could have taken literally anyone in the first round,
and you still would have probably won your league with those two guys.
So unbelievable performance to JSN.
He's got a lot of room left.
I think JSN is going to be the wide receiver one in 2026 drafts ahead of Jamar Chase,
really putting himself in this conversation.
Certainly Pukukukua, Malik neighbors, if he's healthy.
there's a bunch of names out there that are going to have a lot of steam.
And there's also the threat that no one finishes as a consecutive wide receiver one overall.
There's going to be a lot of like the people saying, I'm simply going to fade the situation
because we saw it with Cup, we saw it with Jefferson, we saw it now with Chase,
guys just don't finish wide receiver one in consecutive seasons.
But JSN is also very, very young.
And this is him taking on a different role.
His role last year was completely different than this role.
This role is a higher ADOT.
This is a predominantly playing on the outside.
He's still bumping into the slot some.
But last year he was the leading slot target share earner of like the wide receivers with like let's say 50 plus targets last year.
JSN was the slot wide receiver last year and he's dominating on the outside.
Unbelievable season for him.

When you're flying Emirates business class,

You'll see that your vacation isn't really over until your flight is over.
Fly Emirates.
Fly better.
Another wide receiver had a big game.
Big, big sweat, big sweat for the Kansas City Chiefs fans.
This was like the season saving game.
So Indianapolis comes off their by week.
Looks like they're going to take care of business against the Kansas City Chiefs.
And we saw some magic.
We saw some fourth quarter magic from the Chiefs.
Chiefs have been losing close games this season,
but they were able to come back against Indianapolis.
Kansas City scored 11 fourth quarter points.
They forced overtime, and they win versus a very good Indianapolis Colts team,
saving the season potentially.
And Rashi Rice led the way.
Rashi Rice is a mega target earner.
The sort of the entire thesis behind Rashi Rice is coming into fruition.
He's had at least a 20,
target share in every single game this year, there was a very brief, like, heart attack-inducing
type anxiety moment for Rice managers where they mentioned, like, a hamstring scare, and
everybody's like, what's going on? Then he comes back in the game and just cooks.
Eight catches, 141 yards, and a huge bounce back for Rashi Rice coming off of, like, his
worst game of the season last week. So, JSN, unbelievable player.
Rashi Rice, though, in that mix of, and certainly we've got to talk about Amman Raus St. Brown,
Jamar Chase, there's some really, really strong wide receivers, but Rashi Rice is very much in that
mix of like, if you could have any other wide receiver besides JSN, week in, week out, and besides
Jamar Chase, week in week out, Rashi Rice is very, very much in that conversation.
I think it's a top five or six wide receiver over the course of the season.
24 PPR points yesterday coming off of a season low 9.8 points in week 11.
And he gets the Dallas Cowboys this week.
Dallas Cowboys on the road, you're going to get Rashi Rice going head to head with George Pickens and C.D. Lamb.
Unbelievable stuff from Rashi Rice.
And let's talk about that Dallas situation.
Let's talk about the Dallas situation.
Because George Pickens might, there's a conversation that George Pickens is the Alphillam.
in Dallas.
And I think this is sort of sacrilege for a lot of fantasy managers.
We went into the season with high hopes for George Pickens,
but CD Lamb was in discussion for being the wide receiver two
in terms of like where you're drafted in an ADP.
And I'm pulling up some stats here.
Since CD Lamb returned from injury, so this is a five-game sample size.
Since CD-Lam returned from injury,
targets C.D. Lamb has 48 of them. George Pickens has 44 of them. Catches. C.D. Lamb has 28 of them. George Pickens has 38 of them. George Pickens has 35 of them. Fantasy points per game over the last five games for the Dallas Cowboys. George Pickens at 20. CD Lamb at 16.2. George Pickens has back to back 29 point weeks. And the Dallas Cowboys came back against a Philadelphia Eagles team that had them dead.
to rights and buried.
George Pickens has outscored C.D. Lamb in three out of the last five games for Dallas.
And this is not a knock for C.D. Lamb.
Like C.D. Lamb is tremendous.
And maybe C.D. Lamb, you know, this is a little bit of a ramp up.
Certainly C.D. Lamb, no one's complaining about 48 targets in five games played.
But George Pickens getting those downfield looks, showing that connection with Dack Prescott.
George Pickens, again, one of those players where bailed you.
out. If you took George Pickens in round four with either of those guys, I mean, you're talking about
a monster, monster team. I had a George Pickens, Jemir Gibbs team in the NFFC yesterday where the team
was just running and running. Devante Adams on that team, too. So this was like a, you can make up
for bad picks by drafting these, as Scott Barrett calls them, power law players. The players
that sort of break fantasy. And George Pickens is one of them. So George
Pickens, this is going to be a massive storyline this offseason.
George Pickens is probably going to finish as a top five score at the wide receiver
position.
He's a lock to finish as a wide receiver one.
He's young.
There's no off the field stuff at all.
That's a Pittsburgh problem.
Things are cleaned up in Dallas.
His teammates love him.
The front office loves him.
The coaching staff loves him.
Pittsburgh's looking like they made a massive, massive mistake this past year,
letting this player move on.
And certainly Mike Tomlin,
This is one of the best coaches we've seen in the last 15 years.
So, like, we give Tomlin the benefit of the doubt.
Pickens definitely was not working over there,
but this is an exceptional talent.
And this is a player that's thriving with Dak Prescott.
If you've got George Pickens,
you are absolutely feeling really good
about the way things are trending
heading into your fantasy playoffs.
But the George Pickens versus C.D. Lamb discussion,
a lot of people were saying,
when C.D. Lamb returned,
George Pickens, the scoring was going to drop.
He had those two big 30-point performances when CD-LAM was out.
And they said, you know what?
We've got to kind of check this one.
Pickens is going to take a back seat to Lamb.
We've now seen George Pickens score 29 points in two straight games with C.D. Lam out there
and with C.D. Lam earning a high number of targets.
So George Pickens, George Pickens is kind of where it's at right now.
Let's talk about the waiver wire.
Shout out to everybody who grinds on the waiver wire every week.
Shout out to everybody who supported our WaiverWire show right here on Fantasy Football Daily.
I record that with Joe Dolan and Tom Brawley.
If you're watching this on YouTube, this show drops on Mondays, the reaction show.
YouTube, we dropped the WaiverWire show on Tuesday.
We've been running pure.
I had Emmanuel Wilson as my number one WaiverWire ad.
I had them as a top five ad earlier in the season.
Wilson is just sort of this handcuff running back that was a premium handcuff running back,
but never sort of got the attention of guys like Tyler Algear out there.
Wilson's a like-for-like replacement for Josh Jacobs, and we saw it yesterday.
Josh Jacobs fought through.
Josh Jacobs says all the right things.
Josh Jacobs, you could tell he really, really wanted to play.
Josh Jacobs is a warrior, and I think we'll see him back for the Thanksgiving game against Detroit.
But if he's not back, Emmanuel Wilson's going right back into our lineups with confidence.
26.5 PPR points for Wilson yesterday.
28 carries for 107 yards and two rushing touchdowns.
He also adds two catches for 18 yards.
So Wilson gets this high volume 30 touch performance.
Green Bay completely steamrolled Minnesota.
Minnesota looked awful.
Green Bay looks really good.
Green Bay looks like a playoff team.
And Green Bay against Detroit on Thanksgiving Day,
that's going to be an awesome one.
Green Bay leans on the running back position.
And it's not just Josh Jacobs.
If Jacobs is out, they've shown that they can win and win in a big way, giving Emmanuel Wilson the same sort of volume.
So big shout out to fantasy managers who picked up Emmanuel Wilson.
They're probably hoping Josh Jacobs sits out Thanksgiving.
If I had to bet on it, I'd say Josh Jacobs 60% chance of playing.
That's just my vibes-based one.
I am not a doctor.
But I will give out medical, you know, I'll give out a little bit of medical predictions.
on this show, but I will not give out medical advice.
Let's talk about something weird going on,
just something really, really weird going on
and something we're not really used to seeing.
Lamar Jackson is not giving you any sort of an edge
lately in fantasy.
I mean, think about what I just said here.
Lamar Jackson is not giving you any sort of an edge in fantasy.
Yesterday, Baltimore controlled the New York Jets.
They win going away.
We could have talked about the big,
dog. Derek Henry, 21 carries, two rushing scores, 23 fantasy points. Derek Henry is trending
up. Derek Henry, consecutive games with 20 points scored in week 11 and week 12. And now he gets
to Bengals in week 13. Derek Henry is heating up for the playoffs. But let's talk about Lamar Jackson
because Lamar Jackson was the number one quarterback in ADP this year. Some leagues took
Josh Allen number one, but most of the time you saw Lamar Jackson as the number one quarterback
off the board.
Not so good.
Lamar Jackson, of course, missed time earlier in the year.
And that's a key one because in the beginning of the season,
Lamar Jackson had three games with top four quarterback finishes.
So three top four weekly QB finishes for Lamar Jackson to start the year.
Red hot start for Lamar, giving you impactful fantasy performances right out of the gate.
I mean, just terrific stuff.
I mean, and we can go back to it.
Like anybody who watched this show, it was that first game against Buffalo where Jackson was
completely locked in. Lamar Jackson had 70 rushing yards and a touchdown. He had 209 passing yards
and two touchdowns. He was unbelievable in that game. Then also cooked against the Lions in
week three, cooked against Cleveland in week two. And then we saw him miss, weeks five,
week six and week eight. Week seven was of course Baltimore's by week. But since Lamar Jackson
come back. It's been really, really downhill sledding here. The Miami game, he was
terrific. It was four touchdown passes, minimal rushing production, but again, four passing
touchdowns. But the last three weeks, it's been nothing. Lamar Jackson had against Minnesota
one touchdown. And that's the last touchdown pass. We've seen him complete. And since he
returned from injury. We've only seen one game with more than 15 rushing yards. So he's really
been a game manager. And the last two weeks have been pure pain. His lowest fantasy production
scores of the season against Cleveland and against the Jets. Lamar Jackson has a chance to get
things right based on the schedule. He's got the Cincinnati Bengals in week 13, Cincinnati in
week 15. We love picking on the Bengals. Then, of course, we have Baltimore hosting Drake May and the
Patriots in week 16, hoping that game sort of trends up into shootout environment because of the
nature of the two teams. You never know, though, this time of year. This time a year, that could
just be a slug out. We thought that the Patriots are going to put up a number yesterday. They
win 2620. We thought they were going to put up 30 plus on Cincinnati. But Lamar Jackson,
not giving you that sort of Konami code,
not giving you big impactful fantasy performances.
The rushing production is really, really troubling.
But again, one touchdown pass over his last three games
and no games with only one game in his last four
with more than 15 rushing yards.
So it's almost a tale of two seasons with Lamar Jackson,
the first month of the season,
and then this last month.
Where is it going to go over the last portion of the year?
We've got two more regular season games left, and then we've got three weeks of fantasy playoffs.
A lot of nervous Lamar Jackson managers out there.
Also, let's talk about Jacksonville.
Let's talk about the fear of the Bachel Tutin takeover, and it was largely exaggerated.
I mean, Basial Tutin was really, really good last week, but this week it was all Travis E.Tien.
And when it comes to Tutin, he's still a valuable player for you to roster.
Tuton, of course, great game.
Great game against the Chargers.
You know, he had 74 rushing yards and a touchdown.
And I think it was sort of like the irrational exuberance where everybody said,
okay, Tudin scored touchdowns in two of his last three games.
This is the guy we really like drafting this past summer.
It's happening for Bachel Tuton.
Not so fast because it was all Travis E.TN.
Travis E.T.N has been really, really good this season.
So had 60 plus yards and a touchdown on.
the first drive for Jacksonville, and that was sort of all she wrote, 18 to 7 on touches.
So he out touches Tutin 18 to 7.
He had four targets.
Tutin only had one.
And ETN has been extremely consistent here.
He's had 15 points or more in four straight games coming out of Jacksonville's byweek.
So again, four straight games with 15 plus fantasy points.
And yesterday against Arizona, season high, 20.6.
points scored. This has been his best two year, excuse me, two week run of the season. We saw,
of course, E.TN, even with Tuton playing well, we saw ETN against the Chargers, big, big win for
Jacksonville. He had two rushing touchdowns in that game, but this week, again, he has a
receiving touchdown. So ETS's doing it both ways here, 86 on the ground, 30 through the
air, his best two-week stretch of the season, and now Jacksonville gets Tennessee. Tennessee's a
plucky team right now. They're playing hard. Cam Ward looked pretty good yesterday, but going
into Tennessee, you got to think that this is going to be a Travis E.TN game. And then massive, massive
opportunity for E.T.N. Week 14 against the Indianapolis Colts, a must-win game for Jacksonville
to keep their sort of hopes alive in the division. Indianapolis and week 14. And then you got to love it.
If you're a fantasy manager with Travis ETN, you've got the New York Jets coming to town in week 15.
ETN completely locked in right now.
He is thriving in the Liam Cohen offense in Jacksonville.
Let's talk about Michael Wilson.
Got to talk about him here.
Another week with Jacoby Brissette supporting multiple pass catchers.
But Wilson had the unbelievable game last week where Michael Wilson just had the 18 target performance.
And it was really like sort of the eye-opening game where Wilson had the huge opportunity in week 11,
finishes with 15 catches for 185 yards, no touchdown, but he gets you 33 PPR points in week 11.
And week 12 against Jacksonville does it again, has 15 targets, 10 catches, 118 yards,
Jacoby Brissette showing the willingness to target Michael Wilson.
And this is a kind of a two-factor thing here.
Jacoby Brissette is able to support a second pass catcher to Tray McBride every single week.
We saw multiple strong weeks from Marvin Harrison, and now two weeks with Michael Wilson.
We also saw Greg Dorch play well for two consecutive weeks.
So Jacobi Brissette is elevating pass catchers in Arizona.
But the question remains, when Marvin Harrison Jr. returns, does he come back and take over the Michael Wilson role
and have a huge impact on the fantasy playoffs.
I don't think so.
I think this could end up being a mess
because I don't think Wilson is going to go anywhere.
This could be a little bit more split usage
than Marvin Harrison Jr. fantasy managers want to see.
Wilson is sort of taking this big turn.
And Michael Wilson's a third-year wide receiver.
This is sort of a late year three breakout
when he has the opportunity.
Not sure this is going to get put back in the bag.
I think this could end up being a little bit more balanced
on the wide receiver front.
And a big shout out to Tray McBride.
Trey McBride, the tight end one overall weekly streak ends.
So we saw him get there in week 10.
We saw him get there in week 11.
We saw him get there in week seven.
We saw him get there in week six.
Trey McBride's been ridiculous for like the last month and a half with Jacoby Brissette.
Scores 16.9 PPR points.
So heading into Monday night football, Trey McBride is only the tight end two on the week.
nine catches 79 yards, 10, 10 targets.
Trey McBride has had at least nine targets in six straight games.
Unbelievable connection here with Jacoby Brissette.
But Hunter Henry got him this week.
Hunter Henry heading into Monday night football is the tight end one on the week.
George Kittle still is going to play.
But Trey McBride, I think we'll bet on him to be the tight end one overall every single week of the season.
unbelievable season for Tray McBride,
a huge edge pick for you if you selected him.
You have a huge leg up at the tight end position.
Let's talk about some shifting backfields.
Let's talk about some shifting backfields.
This time of the year we see some strange things.
And one of the things that's happening is backfields are shifting
and usage is changing among certain teams.
A couple of positives here.
Kenneth Walker played 51% of the running back snaps last week in week 11.
This week, Kenneth Walker gets ramped up, gets nearly 65% of the running back snaps.
Walker scored like 13 fantasy points.
I'm not a bad performance for him.
You certainly wanted a little bit more.
Three catches for 30 yards is a big positive for Kenneth Walker.
That's one backfield we're keeping an eye on.
One big shift we've seen is Kenneth Gainwell in Pittsburgh.
So the game flow again supported Gainwell having a strong game.
Pittsburgh Falls on the road, a 31, 28 game.
But very, very impressive stuff for Gainwell.
He's contributing in multiple ways the last two weeks.
We saw last week in week 11 against Cincinnati,
Gainwell had the 29 point game,
seven catches for 81 yards and two touchdowns, minimal running production.
It sort of flipped against Chicago.
He had 92 rushing yards against Chicago.
had the one big, big run on the fake, which was those stats still count in my league.
So I get it.
One of the plays was sort of a manufactured opportunity.
But what's impressive when it comes to Gainwell is the receiving.
Six catches.
And we saw last week seven catches.
So 13 catches over his last two games.
And scoring 18.2 points with Jalen Warren on the field.
This is one where I think you can effectively.
put both of these guys in your flex position moving forward and sort of expect them both to get
touches. Jail and Warren still had 18 carries for 68 yards and a touchdown, but very concerning
for Jalen Warren managers, where Warren is a back that you sort of bet on to have two-way ability,
but we're not seeing it in the receiving department. We've seen Jalen Warren have a run where
he had at least two catches in every single game, but this past week it was all.
Gainwell. So Warren's receiving role is diminishing a little bit, and Kenneth Gainwell is
ramping up. So a little change there. The big story is what we're seeing in Chicago. Chicago, we
saw D'Andre Swift fumble early, and we saw Kyle Menongai actually dominate the backfield usage,
so not complete domination. But Menongai scored 10.8 ppr points, minimal production for Swift.
Benangai played 56% of snaps.
He had 55% of the running back attempts.
He had nearly 50% routes run, and he had a 67% of snaps inside the 5-yard line.
Shout out to my guy, Dwayne McFarlane.
This was a tweet he put out where I got those stats.
You can find those stats also over up at fantasy points data.
But Dwayne sort of talked about this usage in this backfield, and I'm talking about it as well.
This is a little bit troubling.
I mean, to say the least, if you're D'Andre Swift manager,
maybe this was just punitive and swift fumbling
sort of opened the door for Menangai.
But I'm open to this youth movement in Chicago.
And I could have talked about Luther Burden ramping up,
Colston Loveland ramping up, and Kyle Monongai,
really strong draft for the Chicago Bears.
Chicago leading the division this late in the year,
great job from Ben Johnson.
So again, backfields are shifting.
And one backfield that, thankfully, is not shifting too much is the New England Patriots.
There was some fear in the marketplace that we were going to get the rug pulled out from under us.
And Travion Henderson's season would be canceled.
And there's still going to be a lot of disappointed Trayvion Henderson managers out there.
I mean, Henderson went from having two unbelievable performances in a row to sort of taking a backseat.
He had 11 PPR points.
I mean, the guy's not Superman.
He gave you two unbelievable performances back to back.
He gave you 28 points.
He gave you 32 points.
Give him one week off.
Now we've got New England heading into New York in week 13.
They're going to, excuse me, hosting New York in week 13.
They're going to be big favorites in that one.
We saw what Jemir Gibbs was able to do against these giants.
I'm expecting Trayvion Henderson to sort of get back to giving you that 15 to 20 point production.
I think we can expect that against the Giants.
Then we got the buy week for New England,
but there was fear and worries about this.
Remandre Stevenson returning,
but we still had Trayvion Henderson
dominating the snaps and touches,
21 to 7 on the touches,
out targeting Stevenson 4 to 2 in the passing game.
So again, tripled him up on touches, total touches, 21 to 7,
still maintained his role in the passing game, 4 to 2.
I think this is kind of the way it's going to shake out.
Mike Vrable is a coach that we've worried about with running backs,
but the guy's not a dummy.
The guy knows how to win in the NFL.
New England has a chance to get the number one overall seed.
There's a chance that you see home playoff games in Gillette
for the first time since Tom Brady left the Patriots.
So it's going to be a huge significant chance.
They should win against New York this week.
Then they get that late season by.
And then when you come back,
playoffs you've got buffalo who is horrendous against opposing running backs you got baltimore on the road
and then week 17 that jets game where we should see travion henderson thriving in that one as well
we saw travion again he had the three touchdown performance against the jets gets them again in
week 17 so travion henderson sigh of relief game a couple of bonuses here j j j mccarthy could be
really really really really bad uh like really really really really
really, really bad.
I'm willing to, there's still some hope out there.
There's some people that very much believe in him that I respect.
Brett Whitefield certainly is one of the best ball knowers that I know.
I'll shout out Thorneistram.
Thor is also still on J.J. McCarthy.
But for me, when I see this sort of scoring line from Justin Jefferson and zero from
Jordan Addison, like Justin Jefferson was a kind of a quarterback proof player.
and J.J. McCarthy not able to support any fantasy production from him.
Zero from Jordan Addison.
Minnesota's 4 and 7.
I'll just throw a nightmare one out there, and I know Brett's going to listen to this one.
And Brett Whitefield and I are starting a new podcast.
We are starting an NFL draft podcast, the 2026 NFL draft podcast.
You're going to be able to subscribe to that anywhere you get your podcast.
If you're a supporter of this show, go out and subscribe to that show.
We're going to drop weekly episode.
soon, and we are going to start dropping multiple episodes a week when we ramp up towards
the Senior Bowl, towards the Combine, towards the NFL draft. If you like NFL draft coverage
and you're a fantasy football fan or an NFL fan, we've got you covered with that one.
But one question I'm going to ask Brett is Minnesota's 4 and 7. Right now they'd be selecting
12th overall. This is not a great quarterback class. But if you're sitting on the clock and let's
say you're a pick or two away and you have a chance at a do-over situation where you could
draft a Ty Simpson or maybe Fernando Mendoza falls out of the top five. Does Minnesota try to
draft a quarterback this year? What's crazy and frustrating about the Minnesota situation is last
year in the building they had Sam Darnold thriving. They also brought in Daniel Jones. They
could have brought back either of those two quarterbacks, but they moved on. They also
flirted with Aaron Rogers this summer, but J.J. McCarthy, this is not what we signed up for.
And certainly, Justin Jefferson managers are tilting like you've never seen.
Jordan Addison, of course, was suspended start the year. So you got him at a discount.
You draft him in the eighth round, seventh round.
Justin Jefferson locked in first round pick. Justin Jefferson, we are not used to seeing
this level of production. This has got to change rapidly for Minnesota. And another big shout out
to all the old heads, listen to the show.
The L.A. Rams connection, 37-year-old Matt Stafford is now up to 30 touchdown passes on
the year. His record is 41. I think he's going to surpass that. I think he's going to set a new
individual record for touchdown passes. And Devante Adams leads the NFL with 12 touchdown
catches on the year. A ridiculous 25% of his catches have gone for touchdowns. Devante has
seven seasons now with 10 plus touchdowns. His 2020 18 touchdown catch record is probably
safe. I mean, we can't anticipate Devante Adams actually getting 19 touchdown catches at
32 years old. Can we? I don't know. Devante Adams is just running so pure in the touchdown
department. Not sure if he can get there, though. I mean, this game was this game was wild. Again, he has five
catchers for 62 yards, two of them go for touchdowns. This streak has been crazy. It's nine
touchdowns over his last five games played. And when we look at the schedule, next week in
Carolina, week 14 in Arizona, Arizona, you got to like their chances of scoring a touchdown against
that one. Carolina on the road going west to east, that's always a little bit tricky,
but you like their chances. Hey, week 15 at home against Detroit, the Matt Stafford,
You know Matt Stafford's going to try to put up a couple touchdown passes in that one.
Why not Devante Adams?
Then week 16 goes up against Seattle.
Seattle is the only team that shut him down.
His worst game of the year against Seattle in week 11.
And then week 17 indoors at Atlanta, hey, Devante Adams might get it.
He might set a new individual record at 32 years old.
Good year to draft old guys.
Christian McCaffrey in round one.
Derek Henry is starting to cook.
You could have drafted him in round two.
And then you could have built every single fantasy team with a Devante Adams, Matt Stafford, stack.
Unbelievable season for both of those guys.
Rams looked like a team maybe headed to the Super Bowl right now.
Really impressive.
They win the two-point game against Seattle, another playoff team.
And then Tampa Bay completely demolished them.
Baker Mayfield hurting this one.
We're going to keep you an eye on that one.
