Starting point is 00:00:49 and which players make for interesting flex decisions. Theo Greminger and Graham Barfield, Fantasy Football Daily on the Fantasy Points Podcast Network and on Fantasy Points YouTube. You know, Graham, four teams on Buy Week this week, this is a tough, tough week for fantasy managers and a must win week for fantasy managers. The fantasy playoffs are right around the corner. The margins are getting smaller and smaller. time to get some wins this week.
Starting point is 00:01:27 And let's talk about a player that the two of us were very enthusiastic about in August. Scott Barrett was on this guy. Ryan Heath was on this guy. And it's been a little bit of rough sledding for Kenneth Walker fantasy managers for a lot of the season. But a lot of positivity here,
Starting point is 00:01:45 what we saw against the L.A. Ram. Seattle loses 1921. But Kenneth Walker has a season high, 20 ppr points gets 16 carries, also adds three receptions for 44 yards, and significantly gets his first rushing touchdown since week three. Is Kenneth Walker back in our, and you're shaking your head here, you know, shout out Clint Kubiak, you're a smart dude, but you're making Graham mad almost every week.
Starting point is 00:02:14 But listen, it's a new season, Graham. Can Ken Walker end up closing out the season strongly? Is he back in our circle of trust? How enthusiastic should fantasy managers be about, starting him this week. Back in our circle of trust, no, but am I more optimistic than I have been basically all season? Yeah. I mean, it's not been a question of talent. We've been saying it all season. Like, Zach Charbonnet is just going to give you three yards no matter the situation. Sometimes those three yards, he falls into the end zone. And a lot of the other times he's getting, you know,
Starting point is 00:02:45 three yards on second and 10. You know, Walker had another touchdown called back due to penalty last week. He could have had a monster game, man. It was only the third time this season. He's finished among the top 25 weekly scores among running backs. It's just, it's not been, it's just been a gross rotation. This is the spot, though. I mean, the Titans are just terrible. I mean, they have a 13 and a half point implied team total. The Seahawks are, you know, basically two touchdown favorites in Tennessee, which you rarely see in the NFL a two touchdown favorite on the road. Yeah, I've bumped Walker up. I've been writing them up as like a low end flex all season. I bumped him up to like
Starting point is 00:03:24 RB2 territory this week. I will say Theo, the Titans did play a lot better run defense with Jeffrey Simmons back last week, but man, I mean, this just screams to be a spot for Walker to get 15 to 20 touches. And if they're actually going to give him goal line work and give him a chance to
Starting point is 00:03:39 score touchdowns, yeah, he's at least back in the RB2 pile. You know, I just, it sucks because this offense has been what we kind of expected at the ceiling. Click Kubiak's been a great play caller. but this backfield's been pretty much useless all year. And it's because they split carries
Starting point is 00:03:57 and because the rolls are compartmentalized, it's also because they don't really throw to the running backs. I am more optimistic about Walker than I have been all season, but I'm ready to get hurt. I'm ready for the rug to be pulled again. Charbonnet is going to score two touchdowns, man. Yeah, I think it's an interesting one. I think that the fact that it's a 13.5 point line here
Starting point is 00:04:16 in some books for Seattle on the road, like you said, that's massive. You also have Seattle's a round. really good team. And I think, you know, coming off a loss like that, I think they're a team that's kind of kind of turn it on, take advantage of a bad Titans team. And I think that they get an opportunity to Clint Kubiak will try to put up a number. So even if Charbonnet scores a rushing touchdown, I think we can trust Kenneth Walker. And like I talked about this with anybody who's listening to my podcast, it's getting a little bit like, you know, repetitive here with
Starting point is 00:04:47 school of Scott, with my episode with Ryan Heath here on Fantasy Football Daily. and now with you, we're all talking Walker. I think just because he's so significant, Graham, if we can just get this sort of touches, weekly expectations of touches, like even if Sharbonne mixes in, Walker can still be a player that affects leagues down the stretch
Starting point is 00:05:06 because he's so explosive. Ah, he has that big playability. So just getting him back to being like normal here, I think we see it for two weeks in a row. I wouldn't be surprised if he scores 20 points again this week against Tennessee. even if we can cede one touchdown to Charbonnet. Another player who exploded this past week and week 11 was Michael Wilson of the Arizona Cardinals.
Starting point is 00:05:33 Wilson had 18 targets, just an incredible number, 15 receptions for 185 yards. Jacoby Brissette set the NFL record for the most completions in a game, and this was a loss. I mean, this was a significant loss. They lose 4122 to San Francisco. So the game flow was definitely in Wilson's favor. But filling in in like this de facto wide receiver one role for Arizona, he really thrived. Can he do it again this week? Are we starting Michael Wilson wherever we have him in a game against the Jacksonville Jaguars?
Starting point is 00:06:11 But it's in Arizona. Yeah, this is an arguably better spot. You know, last week I was on Wilson as a really good wide receiver three. Jacoby Brissette is just like a kingmaker. The dude is just, he gets there. It doesn't matter if they have a terrible first half. Like, he's just going to throw a ton of catchable passes. Cardinals have already been very, very pass heavy this season.
Starting point is 00:06:32 And, yeah, I mean, Niners have struggled in the secondary. They have a weak pass rush. And this is kind of a similar spot. Jags have a weak pass rush. And they're weak in the second year, giving up the fourth most yards per game, allowed to opposing outside wide receivers, nearly 130 yards per game, Theo. So, yeah, man, I mean, if you picked up Michael Willis, and shallow leagues or maybe you've had them like deep leagues all year. I think you just fire
Starting point is 00:06:52 them like borderline must start. It's a wide receiver too. I wanted to ask you, did Marvin Harrison lose fantasy value last week? For real. That's an interesting question because I think that the like the glass half empty, you know, like the pessimistic take is yeah, why can't Marvin Harrison command this number of targets? Why can't Marvin Harrison put up a 15 catch 180 yard game like we saw from Wilson. I think the glass half full argument would be Harrison's run ahead of Wilson literally every game he's ever played as a pro. Wilson's previous receiving yardage high was like 80 before this one. And Wilson's not some like bum off the street. This is a third round pick out of Stanford played in the senior bowl. But I think it sort of bodes well for like you said,
Starting point is 00:07:41 Jacoby Brissette, our usage God King, the king maker, is a QB1 himself. rest of the season, and Trey McBride is just the greatest edge you could have at the tight end position since Kelsey? Kelsey, 2011? Yeah, exactly. Like, peak Travis Kelsey,
Starting point is 00:08:00 or peak Trey McBride, we're actually having that conversation. So, like, peak Rob Ronkowski. So especially when you consider who's the tight end two moving forward. It's such a gap. There's not really a competition. Bauer's, sporadic,
Starting point is 00:08:13 kiddle, it's been pretty good, but there's not anybody really challenging him. But I think what we've seen from Brissette is almost every single week he's supported a secondary pass catcher in addition to Tray McBride being like the tight end one overall. So I think if you're a Marvin Harrison believer, maybe you're going to get some really big weeks in the fantasy playoffs. You're not going to get 15 for 185, but you could get those consistent high teen scoring numbers. We've already seen Harrison Jr. with Brissette have like a 14.8 point week. We also some have that week where he went north of 20 points. So take it either way.
Starting point is 00:08:50 I think that there's certainly a lot of frustration from Marvin Harrison Jr. Dynasty managers based on what you had to pay for them, what you've gotten. But hey, we're only in year two. A lot of times we see guys really ramp it up in year three. So we'll keep a candle burning for Marvin Harrison Jr. in the playoffs. Let's talk about the quarterback who went up against Brissette last week. Brock Purdy, flawless. Three touchdown passes.
Starting point is 00:09:13 zero interceptions, only 200 passing yards, but again, Christian McCaffrey made his job really easy. We also had that really long Skymoor return, which sort of chopped off an opportunity for some more passing yardage. Purdy looked really, really good, 73% completion percentage, just methodically picked apart Arizona. This week gets the Carolina Panthers at home.
Starting point is 00:09:40 How enthusiastic are you about Purdy? Is he a locked-in QB-1? one for you this week. Yeah, he is. And for the rest of season, too. I've had purdy probably a little too high in the rest of season rankings for the entirety of the year, just hoping for him to come back. But I mean, he's just been awesome. I mean, top eight fantasy quarterback in 2020 and 2004. This season, he's QB10 by fantasy points per game tied with Justin Herbert. And yeah, he's been hurt all year too. Just super impressive. For this week specifically, it's a great matchup. Panthers just don't have a very good pass rush. 31st and
Starting point is 00:10:13 pressure rate. It's a lot like last week where Arizona's got a bottom 10 pass rush by pressures, by sacks. This game, I'm kind of like crossing my fingers for it, man, because Bryce Young is coming off a career best game. Niners defense is very exploitable. Hopefully this game has some like back and forth shootout upside because, you know, if Young plays well and the Panthers offense shows up again, like Purdy could definitely have, you know, a 280 yard three touchdown type game. We just need, you know, we just need the Niners to get pushed a little bit. Shanan's been conservative with leads. We saw that again last week.
Starting point is 00:10:47 They just started running the ball in the second half. But, yeah, I'm back. I've always been on Purdy and definitely in it on him this week is like, you know, definitely a top 10 play among quarterbacks. Yeah, Purdy's really, really interesting. And if you want to use that game that, you know, for DFS purposes, I think that one, like you said, could tilt over. And our show is actually brought to you by Fantasy Points Premium.
Starting point is 00:11:12 Our Fantasy Points Premium package gets you access to all of our DFS content, gets you access to all of our prop bet content. We have been absolutely on fire this season on the Anytime Touchdown Betts. If you were our $100 better, since we started offering this in week six, you'd be up like 30 units. You'd be up like nearly $3,000 on $100 bets just on our Anytime touchdown. A big shout out to the team, our DFS team, big shout out to our game. big shout out to our gambling team at fantasy points. And you were going to get the fantasy points premium subscription for $87.50. And that's not for one week.

And I'll say a big shout out to our DFS team. I had a really big DFS week last week. I'm constantly looking at our projections. our DFS articles. Our DFS team is just top-notch.
Starting point is 00:12:14 Big shout out to Chris Wecht. Again, fantasy points premium is only $87.50. If you're looking to get someone a great Christmas present, a great Hanukkah present, birthday present, give them the gift of winning fantasy football and a chance to win a little money. And if your team, first of all, you're probably not eliminated from your playoffs
Starting point is 00:12:34 if you're still watching a start sit show. But if you do get eliminated, switch over to DFS. We've got you covered. week in, week out, fantasy points premium. Let's keep this one going. Let's talk about the quarterback opposite of Brock Purdy. You mentioned the career game for Bryce Young. Big win for Carolina.
Starting point is 00:12:53 Hetero McMillan ran absolutely pure. Great to see McMillan with that huge scoring line. Bryce Young, ridiculous numbers. Absolutely ridiculous numbers. Three passing touchdowns set his yardage record. I don't have the exact number. It was like 430 passing yards. last week. I'll pull it up. Are we starting Bryce Young, and it's 448 passing yards. I shorted
Starting point is 00:13:17 him a little bit. Are we starting Bryce Young this week against San Francisco and riding the hot hand? I don't trust him. I can't get there, but I will say, man, this is like a terrible week for streaming quarterbacks. We've got like a clear top 12 and then it just, I would actually make it a top 13. And then it just kind of falls off. I guess Young is probably at the top of that list. if you do need a streamer. It's just such a good matchup. Niners are, I mean, they just don't have a pass rush without Bosa, dead last and pressures forced at 27%. And yeah, I mean, they're giving up the six most yards per game. We were just talking, you know, this game certainly has a chance to tilt towards the over, good showdown game here for Monday night, DFS. But yeah, man, I've seen enough
Starting point is 00:13:59 from Bryce Young. We've seen enough good, you know, he'll put together a good game and then go back to be in, you know, three, four games where he's just kind of me. I've seen enough of that throughout his career to not really trust him but you know super flex leagues uh deep leagues if you're in a 14 or 16 team league and you're missing justin herbert or something uh young is probably one of the best streamers this week yeah it's it's an interesting one i want to trust him and i'll say like maybe this is just his career arc where the beginning of the season it takes them a while to ramp up and then we see bryce young score over the second half of the year we saw last year. Maybe history repeats itself. We'll see this week. This game does look like it could
Starting point is 00:14:40 be a sneaky over environment. Like we saw with Brissette, if San Francisco gets off to a big lead, which I don't think they will. Carolina is six and five this year. They have a chance of being a playoff team. But if San Francisco does get in control this game at home, there'll be a chance for garbage time points. The Carolina receivers are healthy. And then you've got Rico Dattle catching passes out of the backfield. So a lot to like about the situation for Bryce Young. And again, coming off of a fantastic game for him. And he's got the sneaky rushing upside that we didn't see last week, but we know that's in his bag. Let's talk about the tight end position. Kate Otten, we thought he was kind of in our circle of trust, really disappointing game.
Starting point is 00:15:21 Tampa Bay scores 32 points against Buffalo. But Kate Otten, his lowest scoring week since week four, It was very disappointing one. Two catches for 28 yards. This week on the road in L.A. L.A. was very generous to opposing tight ends last week. A.J. Barner set some individual records for himself. Are we using K.D.Oten again this week? Is he back in sort of a streaming tight end discussion, Graham?
Starting point is 00:15:48 Or are you a little concerned that this is a downward trend? Yeah, I mean, he's still Kodon. He's still super, super boring. you're never going to feel like sexy putting him in the windups or anything like that. But yeah, I mean, he's been solid, man, like really solid. Last nine games without Mike Evans or Chris Godwin on the field, averaging 14 and a half PPR points for game. This is like, we were talking before the show.
Starting point is 00:16:14 This is one of the worst weeks I can remember in a very long time at receiver. I've been writing start set for three years, you know, from a full game, you know, perspective, writing starts set at the site for six years, doing projections for 10, like this is easily one of the worst years at receiver and tight end. I can remember. Tight end, like there's a clear top five and then like tied in six through 12 you can just kind of put in whatever order. I, Otten, like with Otten, you could put him at tight in six or tied in 12 and I really wouldn't debate you. To your point, though, last week was just a really brutal spot. Bill is allowing the lowest amount of yards per game
Starting point is 00:16:50 to tight ends. Rams have been, you know, kind of middle of the pack all year against tight end. So it's a much better matchup, and this is a spot, clearly where the bucks are going to have to throw a ton. They're in the dome in L.A. They're big underdogs. Baker's going to have to drop pack and sling it a little bit in this game. So, yeah, I'm back in on Otten. At least a low-end tight-in one play could squint and probably see some high-end, tight-in one volume here. Yeah, I think I'm in on him as well. I'm using him in a couple spots and sort of just trust the process type play. I also like this game to tilt over. Tampa Bay coming off the loss, you got to think that they're going to put the pressure here, try to keep up with this L.A. Rams team. This L.A. Rams team looks
Starting point is 00:17:32 unbeatable right now. They're winning games in a multitude of ways. But Baker Mayfield and the Bucks on the road, that's the type of team that's going to put pressure on L.A. Hopefully we get a nice over environment there. One tight end who's coming off of his buy week, and is top five in targets at the position consistently throughout the entire season is Jawan Johnson. We saw New Orleans, like, it's so funny, we, you know, guys go on buys
Starting point is 00:17:59 and it's sort of like you forget what they did their last game, but Tyler Shuck was very effective, outplayed Bryce Young, had like 270 passing yards, two touchdowns, very consolidated target tree, Graham. A lot of targets to Chris Salave, he's second
Starting point is 00:18:15 among all wide receivers, but also Joanne Johnson, are we using Juan Johnson coming off by, and is he in our lineup probably rest of the season? Yeah, I think so. I ranked him as a low-end, tight-in one rest of season. I feel pretty good about that. It's like we were just talking. We've got like a clear top five or six at the position, and then it's just kind of eye of the beholder type stuff. This is a really tough matchup. Falcons have been very good against tight ends all year, but I like Johnson quite a bit. Like you said, super consolidated passing target tree, which is great. It's just a lava in
Starting point is 00:18:48 Juan Johnson and then, you know, they just moved on from Brandon Cooks. Devon Valet is mixing in more. It's, it's really just going to be a lobby in Johnson earning targets. I'm also a little cautious, like, I'm pretty optimistic, actually, about like this offense. I was questioning why they switched from Rattler to Shuck because Rattler was relatively playing pretty well. But you look at, and, you know, in our fantasy points data suite, Shuck has been more aggressive in terms of average depth of target. He's cut down on turnover worthy throws in terms of that statistic. that we chart at fantasy points data. Rattler had one of the highest turnover-worthy throw rates
Starting point is 00:19:23 at upwards of 5%. In his starts, Shuck's been below 2, and you mix that with throwing more down the field. It definitely gives this offense a bit more of a ceiling. Shuck is also pretty decent in terms of, you know, avoiding sacks and kind of creating second reaction plays. So, yeah, I mean, Saints aren't going to light the whirl on fire. I think everybody kind of knows that,
Starting point is 00:19:43 but there's plenty of fantasy upside here. Awaves must start obviously, but I still continue to think Juan Johnson's like a very underrated tight end for fantasy. Yeah, and we always talk about this with Kellyn Moore. Kellyn Moore is going to kind of maximize his guys from a fantasy lens because we get the up-tempo offense. There's usually a lot of plays run. Tyler Shuck also has a little bit of mobility where maybe we see a couple plays get extended.
Starting point is 00:20:11 I sort of like betting on Kellyn Moore coming off of a by week, the rational coaching angle, the chance for him to sort of tweak this offense. Losing Rashid Shahid was significant, and now they have a chance to sort of tighten everything up. Are we also starting Alvin Kamara this week? New Orleans is actually a favorite against the dusty Kirk Cousins and the Atlanta Falcons this week. I was talking to John Hansen yesterday,
Starting point is 00:20:38 and he kind of convinced me on Kamara, at least for this week. I mean, he's just been so bad for fantasy, right? Just like empty, cowrie, flex play, maybe at best. But John kind of made some good arguments. They've got a pretty decent schedule. We like Shook a little bit. You look at the last two games,
Starting point is 00:20:55 excuse me, three games since Kendrae Miller was lost for the season with his injury. Kamar's taken 34 carries. Devin Neal has just seven. They are playing Neil a little bit more in the past game because I guess they trust them as a pass blocker. But if there's one weakness to this Falcons defense, at least all year, right? Like we just saw Bryce Young dice them up.
Starting point is 00:21:14 But they've been a good pass defense, good pass rush all year. They've been a terrible run defense, like very sneakishly, bottom 10 and run defense by yards per carry and success rate allowed. Saints are small home favorites. I've been writing Kamar up as a set in my article
Starting point is 00:21:28 for pretty much the entire middle of this year, but I begrudgingly bumped him up as a flex this week. I could squint and see some low-end RB2 upside. Bro, this is just like what we've been talking about all year, though. This is just like another amazing week at running back, and we've got, you know, a ton of just kind of, kind of mid-wide receiver 3s. So it's kind of hard to like fall in love
Starting point is 00:21:49 with Kamar and his projection, but objectively, this is one of the best spots he's had here. Yeah, I think we're breaking ties in our flex spots with running backs. There's a ton of running backs also that we're going to talk about in a minute that have kind of sort of come out of not nowhere, but coming off of our benches or coming off
Starting point is 00:22:05 of the waiver wire that we're going to be plugging into our lineups. Let's pivot back to the tight end position. We talked about Ot and we talked about Joanne Johnson. and let's talk about A.J. Barner, who we referenced had a really, really strong game against L.A., 10 catches, over 70 receiving yards. He's also had this, like, occasional rushing attempt, like not quite a Taseom Hill experience by any means, but the threat of A.J. Barner is there just by, like, Clint Kubiak, further enraging Kenneth Walker managers, giving A.J. Barner the opportunity to score a touchdown every now and then. Are we going to ride the hot hand here?
Starting point is 00:22:42 and use A.J. Barner in our lineups, again, as a big favorite against Tennessee. Yeah, I can't get there. You know, last week he did get the, you know, big target chair, but it just seems like a kind of a one-week thing where they were just trailing and didn't really have to do a whole, you know, like the Seattle offense this year is basically just pin JSN, and that's kind of it in terms of the target share. You know, that was Barner's just second game this year with more than three targets. And we were just talking through Ken Walker, like we think Seattle just smokes Tennessee. So it kind of comes down to we think Darnold drops back to pass like 35 times again. And yeah, for me, I'm not, I'm not chasing it.
Starting point is 00:23:20 I understand if you're in like a deep FFPC league and you need a flex, because receiver is so bad this week, absolutely throw Barner into some lineups. But for, you know, just typical one tight end streaming decisions, I'm looking elsewhere. I think there's just better plays. It'll also be interesting to see over the next couple weeks. I want to ask you about this. Do you think we see more Shaheed?
Starting point is 00:23:41 because, you know, he's kind of been limited and then part-time-ish role. Only five targets last week. He had a touchdown broken up by Emmanuel Forbes. But, you know, after JSN, I don't know. I still think Shaheed is probably their number two target for the rest of the season. Yeah, I mean, I think that the Snapshare versus Cup
Starting point is 00:23:59 is a little bit frustrating. Right. But again, it's probably a ramp-up period. The one thing we don't get from Seattle is a whole lot of 11 personnel. So we're going to need a little bit of a shift. but I trust that Shaheed's going to have some spike weeks. I know that there was an overwhelming amount of enthusiasm
Starting point is 00:24:17 when they were able to acquire them, and they didn't get them for cheap. They gave up a third round pick. I trust it. I think that you want to see it first with Shaheed and want to see the snaps go up. I don't think you want to just, like, throw a dart and start them this week.
Starting point is 00:24:32 But I do think maybe when we get to the fantasy playoffs, Shaheed's going to be comfortably in the flex discussion. And with his sort of explosiveness, I think there's an opportunity that he has some big games. But again, let's see it first. I think if anybody's looking to sort of get out of Dodge and sell Shaheed, you know, for a lot of you, it's the trade deadline. I don't mind taking on some Shaheed. If you're a dynasty manager, I think Shahid, Seattle is going to try to actively re-sign him this offseason as well. And I think heading into 2026, he's going to be opposite JSN in what should be a pretty exciting offense.
Starting point is 00:25:08 Kubiak comes back and Darnold, of course, entering year two there. So I'm optimistic about Shahid, not really optimistic about him for this week. Barner, I think it's team specific. You've got it. It's also sort of a weird week at tight end. A couple of guys that the production is just so bad recently. Some guys that we entered the season thinking would be consistent starters for us are almost like unplayable, like T.J. Hawkinson, David and Jokin's banged up.
Starting point is 00:25:38 he might miss this week. There's a lot of guys we just can't use. And Barner at least has a little bit of juice here coming off of a big game. And he's been a threat as a touchdown score. I think he has like five touchdown catches this year. So I might be a little bit more optimistic than you are about him. But I don't think lightning strikes twice. And he has another like huge catch performance, huge target total performance.
Starting point is 00:26:01 So most likely you're probably sitting him. But again, it's very much team specific. one of the reasons the wide receiver position is so tough to take this week, Graham, is because Jamar Chase gave himself a week off, the spitting incident. So if you're a Jamar Chase manager, you had to deal with the buy week. Now you're having to deal with missing him again. You thought you had the wide receiver one overall. Now it's like what's going on here.
Starting point is 00:26:27 Now, we have sort of a handcuff in Cincinnati. Anytime T. Higgins misses, anytime Jamar Chase misses, Andre Yoshavus ends up starting and probably playing 80% of snaps this week. I mean, I wouldn't want to guess on the snap percentage, but I would guess it would be pretty high for Yoshavus. He's an interesting one for people looking for a one-week spot start, maybe some DFS managers out there. Your enthusiasm level for Andre Yoshavus.
Starting point is 00:26:56 Yeah, if you're desperate for wide receiver 3 flex, we've been talking to all show. It's a really bad week at receiver. And, yeah, I'm definitely okay with Yoshovas projects pretty well. And it's not because of talent, right? Like, we know Yoshovas is just, he's a fine NFL talent, but it's really just because of this offense. Flacco is just, he's kind of having that Jacoby Brouset,
Starting point is 00:27:19 James Winston Kingmaker type season, leads the league in past attempts per game at 41.3. Christian Gonzalez is going to shadow T. Higgins in this spot. And even though Gonzalez probably hasn't had his best year yet, I still think he's a really good corner. So if there's any chance that, you know, Gonzalez kind of slows Higgins down in this spot, the direct beneficiary would be Yoshavos. It's a pretty decent matchup. Patriots have been giving up.
Starting point is 00:27:44 Fantasy points to receivers pretty much all year. And again, Patriots are big favorites in this spot. Should push the passing volume for the Bengals. So, yeah, I think I'm going to bump up Yoshavaz, actually, in my article after this little conversation here. Yeah, I was kind of disappointed, you know, and if you want to, access to Graham's article. You can get it at FantasyPoints.com, get access to all
Starting point is 00:28:05 of my articles. And again, use the code Theo, you can get any package. Graham's been really, really on point with his StartSit article all year long. Graham runs really, really pure, which, so I didn't like seeing where you initially had Andre Yoshavis. So big shout out to you, Graham,
Starting point is 00:28:21 because I got to use him in like one or two lineups this week where I'm kind of in a big jam. So I'm hoping that he you know, a lot of times we'll think this is going to be a huge T. Higgins week. And once in a while it shifts, and you could see Yoshavus be, like somewhere in the multiverse, the guy's going to catch two touchdowns this week.
Starting point is 00:28:40 I think New England's going to put a ton of pressure on Cincinnati to sort of keep up. This could end up being a really nice over environment. Cincinnati can't stop anyone. And this New England offense is just rolling people. New England is plus 86 right now on score differential, which is really always a good indicator of which teams are for real, which teams are for real, which teams can make a real playoff push. I think New England's like top five in the NFL right now in scoring differential.
Starting point is 00:29:08 They're plus 86. I think they're going to put a number on the Bengals. And the Bengals have allowed 334 points this season. That's the most in the NFL. Let's talk about a game that is looking like it has significant playoff implications. The six and four Pittsburgh Steelers are facing off against the seven, and three Chicago Bears. Chicago is leading the NFC North. They have a chance to move to eight and three this week. Pittsburgh's an interesting team to talk about. We've seen sort of
Starting point is 00:29:42 lower than expected scoring numbers from D.K. Metcalfe had a nice run sort of in the middle of the season, Graham, where it looked like things were trending up. It's been anything but that recently. What are we doing with D.K. against the bears this week? I have no idea. I'll be honest, because this is, like we've been saying, for the third time. I mean, this is just such a bad week of receiver. You probably have no other options but to start Metcath. But, I mean, I've been calling his role mid all year in my article. He's been a wide receiver four on volume, and that just kind of continued last week.
Starting point is 00:30:19 I mean, he's had some great matchups over the last couple weeks, too, and just gotten completely slowed down. I mean, for me, he's just like a low-end flex. And I could certainly see a situation where you're maybe loaded a receiver and just, you know, can bench him. I guess if you're looking for one thing to hang your hat on, he did get 26% of the targets last week. That was the second highest mark he's had in the game all season. I do think Mason Rudolph is a small downgrade from Aaron Rogers at this point of his career. Steelers definitely don't project as well as they have been. But man, I honestly, I could see a situation man where like Ken Gainwell is like the only guy you really want to start this week for the
Starting point is 00:30:57 Steelers. Nice professional segue from you on Kenneth Gainwell, who's also on our list here. Gainwell has now had two games with more than 29 points scored on the year. And Graham, he's like top six among all running backs in targets on the season. He was very effective last week with Jalen Warren dealing with an ankle injury. Gainwell had two touchdown catches, ended up finishing very, very strongly. You mentioned that he's the only one you'd be enthusiastically starting in the flex. week. Talk about it a little bit. Yeah, so I was just wrong about this backfield last week. We thought
Starting point is 00:31:38 that, you know, Jalen Warren had kind of cemented himself as the clear-cut starter. Previous three games, he had like 75% of the team's backfield carries. And he got started hot against that Bengals team last week that's just so bad against the run. But, you know, Gainwell only, or excuse me, Warren only took 50% of the Steelers design carries before he got hurt last week. You know, Obviously, Arthur Smith is his long term always preferred a backfield split. So honestly, Warren getting like kind of a bell cow roll is against the norm for him. And now Warren's hurt. You know, he's got this ankle injury, didn't practice on Wednesday.
Starting point is 00:32:13 I wrote up Gainwell as a flex. And if Warren's out, I'm going to push Gainwell up to like borderline must start. Game will have that strong role like you mentioned in week four when Warren was out. 77% of the snaps got 25 touches in that game. And this is, you know, not the same spot, but the bears have not been good. the run all year, nearly five yards per carry allowed. So Gainwell's looking like a pretty good flex right now, like in maybe a split role if Warren plays, but if Warren is out, like he's, like I said, just borderline must start. Yeah, and I think that we have to be open to the possibility
Starting point is 00:32:46 that Warren's going to break down, down the stretch. We saw him again missed a Europe game earlier in the season. Now he's taken a little bit of a knock. He's never been a high volume back. He's always had the opportunity to mix in with Najee Harris. I think they've gotten a lot out of Warren this year. Warren's had some really, really effective games. But again, Pittsburgh, it looks to be in the driver's seat in the NFC North. I understand that Baltimore could easily win. We have that big Thanksgiving evening game, which could be Joe Burrow versus Lamar Jackson. But Pittsburgh is still a game ahead. They're at six and four. Baltimore is at five and five. And also with the sort of the way that the AFC is shaking out, it looks like it's a division that might only pretty
Starting point is 00:33:31 one playoff team. You never know a lot of season left. But if they can get this win against Chicago, this is going to be a significant one. And you wonder if Pittsburgh just becomes a little bit more Kenneth Gainwell centric over the course of the season. So I think Gainwell is an interesting one to start this week. And also, I think if you have leaguemates who are just frustrated by the back and forth of the backfield, acquiring Gainwell might end up paying off down the stretch. Again, those targets translate. It's been one of the consistent things in the Pittsburgh offense that they're going to target Kenneth Gainwell, and it's adding up as the season moves along. So I'm into him this week. Let's take a quick break. We come back. We're talking about
Starting point is 00:34:14 Bachel Tutin and Bachel Tutin's outlook for week 12 and the rest of the season right after this. All right, welcome back, Fantasy Football Daily. Graham, we had a big Bachel Tutin week, and it coincided with Travis E.TN also producing in a major way. ETN had two touchdown scores, 19 carries for 73 yards, but Tuton had 15 carries for 74 yards in the touchdown. Really, really strong stuff. Jacksonville's become a very running back centric team throughout the year. ETN's had a really terrific season, but Tuton looks to be ramping up.
Starting point is 00:34:52 Tuton is also dealing with an injury here. Uh, his, you know, again, we're recording this on, uh, recording this on Thursday morning this week. It doesn't look like Tutin's going to miss, uh, but there could be some late news on Thursday or Friday about this one. Let's say Tutin is playing and doesn't have an injury distinction on the game. Are you using him in lineups this week and sort of, is this the way that this team's going to look for the rest of the season where there's sort of a 1A, but Tootin looking like a player you can use as a flex? So I think this is the way the Jag should run their offense
Starting point is 00:35:27 to the rest of the year. And you look at two of their last three games since the by. They've called their two most run-heavy game plans and games they led against the Raiders and the Chargers. This was a Liam Cohen offense that wanted to lean towards the past to start this year, but that was before Brian Thomas and Travis Hunter both got hurt. And, you know, how do you help a struggling quarterback like Trevor Lawrence, who's been very inconsistent this year, you have a very good run game. And the Jags have had a
Starting point is 00:35:55 pretty good run game for the majority of this season. I pinched ETN and Tootin in rest of season rankings. I have ETN at like 23 or 24. Tuton's at 25, 26. And I'm very interested to see how this backfield goes. It kind of did feel like a takeover last week from Tuton before he got hurt. He was leading ETN and carries by a significant margin. This is an amazing spot though, man. Carlin. Cardinals have been very bad against the run game over the last three weeks. Gave up 123 yards to Dallas. They got destroyed by Seattle two weeks ago. Obviously, McCaffrey had a good game last week.
Starting point is 00:36:32 I really, really liked the spot. I think with ETN, you just keep playing them as like a low-end RB2 flex, but Tutin is certainly viable this week. And hopefully this ankle injury isn't, you know, too, too bad for the rest of the season. What do you think, man? Who do you think scores more points the rest of season between these two? I think ETN scores more points. But again, Tuton, I think, has the juice to mix in.
Starting point is 00:36:55 And ETN's been really, really good here. I think it's the lack of wide receivers sort of establishing themselves. Brian Thomas Jr., that's been an incredibly frustrating season. Parker Washington sort of is what he is. Jacobi Myers, we saw him increase his usage this past week, but he's a player that I think if you get wide receiver three weeks from the rest of the season, I think that's probably a realistic goal. for where we'd like to see Myers end up.
Starting point is 00:37:21 I think the idea that Myers can be an instant wide receiver two probably doesn't happen. So I agree with you. It's a team with a very good kicker. The defense has been way better than anticipated, and they have a two-headed running back situation where ETN's playing fantastic, really, really strong season from ETN.
Starting point is 00:37:42 But it's Tutin has that juice. If we can just get Tutin into the 15 touch per game, like roll, like somewhere in that 12 to 17 touches on a weekly basis. With his explosiveness, it's sort of the Kenneth Walker corollary when it comes to Tutin. He has the athleticism and the juice to house it to give you big playability. And he's been effective as a runner. So I agree with you. Jacksonville is also a team that has a lot to play for right now. They're six and four on the year. They're two games behind Indianapolis, but they're very, very much in the mix in the AFC.
Starting point is 00:38:21 So I don't know, I think I agree with you, Graham. I think getting a little more conservative, a little bit more running back centric, taking the pressure off of Trevor Lawrence and just accentuating what you're good at. Liam Cohen is the running back whisperer. I think he can get fantasy scoring numbers out of both of these guys. So that's kind of where we're at. I think Tutin, if he plays, he's a flex for a lot of you out there.
Starting point is 00:38:44 Let's talk about Sean Tucker. Tucker was incredible. Back-to-back seasons, Graham, with, well, you didn't quite get to the RB1 overall this past week. He was the RB2 overall. Last year he had that RB1 overall week. We've talked about Tucker a little bit. We talked about him last week in the context of Buffalo being so generous to opposing running backs. And we were pretty bullish on him. I had Sean Tucker as a top five waiver wire ad. And he was consistently in my waiver wire article as well. Didn't anticipate this, though, looked fantastic. Fantastic. Completely ripped Buffalo to shreds, three touchdowns, including a receiving one. Your thoughts on Tucker, even if Bucky Irving plays, it feels like it's hard to put this one back in the box. Now, everybody remembers what happened last year after his RB1 overall week that he sort of just got brushed aside and was third fiddle. But now three straight weeks where he's outrushed Rashad White. It feels like White is going to be the odd man out. I'm with you.
Starting point is 00:39:44 Like you said, with Tucker, it wasn't just last week. The ramp up was the two-week period before then. I mean, he's been looking better than Rashad White for basically a month now. I guess the big thing, you know, the big thing, obviously, is Irving playing and what type of role he'll have if he plays. I mean, the guy has missed six games. That being said, though, if Irving does play, like rest of season, I could certainly see Tucker being the change of pace back and White just kind of being
Starting point is 00:40:14 worthless. I've flipped Tucker and White and our rest of season rankings here at fantasy points. Yeah, I think for this week, if Bucky does set at worst, Tucker's like a flex play, it's just a concern that, you know, the bucks are big. Road underdogs in Los Angeles. If Bucky's out, Rashad White is still going to play in the past game because Tampa doesn't want to just like completely signal, hey, we're running
Starting point is 00:40:37 the ball with Sean Tucker on the field. They wouldn't have a little bit of, you know, mix and match with their backfield. But yeah, I think right now Tucker's like a good low inflex play and we're just going to wait and see what this backfield situation shapes up to be in terms of Irving's health. Yeah, I think I'm very optimistic about Tucker. I think even if Irving plays,
Starting point is 00:40:56 I'm still going to use Tucker. And like when we look at Bucky Irving, I think you mentioned this in your article, but there's a chance this could be a real ramp-up game where they're going to be very cautious with his touches. It's a shoulder injury. I think Irving really, really hurt. Rashad White because I think they can use Irving as a pass catcher and take a lot of pressure off
Starting point is 00:41:19 of him in the high volume runs by using Tucker. So like we said with Jacksonville, we talked about Liam Cohen. Liam Cohen's former team could end up being a team that uses two running backs down the stretch. I think Tucker's presence probably lowers Bucky Irving's rest of season outlook regardless. I said on another show that I think he goes from being like an 18 point per game guy early in the year, probably like a 14 and a half point per game guy rest of season. Still a player that can help you out a lot, but I don't think he's the league wrecker like, you know, some of our colleagues in fantasy. I know Jacob Gibbs has been super enthusiastic. Ryan has as well. I'm there, but I just don't think that Tucker, they're going to
Starting point is 00:42:01 see what they can have out of him. When we're talking about Sean Tucker, this is his third year in the organization, third year where Sean Tucker, they gave him a lot of money as a, an underrafted free agent to sign. They gave him one of those six-figure deals. Tucker was like a day-two prospect that had the bad medicals that forced him off. He sort of looked like Syracuse, Sean Tucker. And any time you had this coaching staff
Starting point is 00:42:26 have an opportunity to talk about their running backs this past off season, they signaled out Bucky Irving. They mentioned Rashad White, who's always been a Todd Bulls guy. But they'd always mentioned Sean Tucker. They love their running back depth, and I think we're starting to see it
Starting point is 00:42:40 with this past week. I'm there on Sean Tucker, and moving forward, we want to use our running backs against the Buffalo Bills. We're recording this. The show is going to drop after Thursday night's game, so maybe it's a Woody Marks night. Who knows? But I think down the stretch, we're going to look to target this Buffalo Bills defense. It's been super generous to opposing running backs multiple games this season. I think they're like third overall, second overall in the amount of rushing yards they've conceded to the running back position this season.
Starting point is 00:43:10 Let's talk about very quickly. I wrap the show up with this one. San Francisco wide receivers. Last week was a big George Kittle week. Are we using Ricky Purcell? Are we using Joanne Jennings? How would they fall in this week, Graham? We mentioned Brock Purdy.
Starting point is 00:43:26 We're enthusiastic about him. We love the San Francisco playoff schedule. Are we looking to ramp it up? And maybe could this be a Purcell week or is it still going to be Jennings running ahead of them? Yeah, man, I got to see it. It sucks because I think Pearsall is a really talented. player, but you look at, you know, any of the games that he's played in his career with
Starting point is 00:43:45 Joanne Jennings and Kittle, he's, you know, he's always been their kind of third or fourth target. Obviously, with the caveat that his rookie season, you know, was cut short because of, you know, getting shot and had hamstring injury, but you look at the 11 games that he's played with Jennings and Kittle. He's only earned 16 or more percent of the targets just three times. Last week, he got the full-time role, which I was surprised by. I mean, he missed so much time. But Pierce saw ran the same amount around his, same amount of routes as Jennings, only earned three targets. Man, I think I got to see it before I put Pierce saw in a lineup. And yeah, I mean, Jennings, he's not been great this season.
Starting point is 00:44:22 Like, he's certainly probably not paid off his ADP, but, you know, he had the injuries to start the year. They kind of piled up very quietly has been very consistent over his last five games with more than 19% of the targets in each game. You know, again, this game environment, we've been saying at all. really does have some chance to shoot out if the Panthers can push. So, yeah, Jennings still a really good flex play. I think he's a solid wide receiver three in PPR leagues where you have to start three wide receivers. And with Pearsall, I get it.
Starting point is 00:44:50 This is such a bad week at receiver. You might be forced to play them, but I'm a little tepid here. I'm a little skeptical that, you know, this offense is going to support, you know, four players between Kittal and McCaffrey, Jennings, and Pearsall. Yeah, and when we're talking about the San Francisco 49ers, They have the week 14 buy, which is super annoying for fantasy managers. It's incredibly annoying for Christian McCaffrey managers. That is so...
Starting point is 00:45:15 It's the worst, man. It's like, why can't every... We should go back to having buys stop in week 12. This is, this is getting ridiculous. Yeah, NFL is absolutely ridiculous. Like, fantasy football gambling, these things matter. They drive the viewership. They drive interest levels.
Starting point is 00:45:32 And fantasy managers get just getting the absolute screw here. Especially in FFPC leagues, man. It's brutal. So week 14 is championship week in FFC leagues for like, you know, for the money for the regular season. If you get the one or the two seed in like the three 50s of the main events, you still are in the postseason. But you leave a ton of money on the table if you potentially lose Christian McCaffrey and it ruins one of your lineups. You also have the Patriots on by week in week 14, no Drake May in your lineup. Like it's absolutely brutal.
Starting point is 00:46:05 But we have the light at the end of the tunnel. Graham, back in like the optimistic days of July and August when we were breaking down the schedule, we circled this San Francisco team for a reason. We love their offense. We love the Kyle Shanahan offense. Obviously, we were optimistic about a lot of the skill position players, but it doesn't get much better than Tennessee in week 15 in San Francisco, a potential shootout on the road indoors in week 16 against Indianapolis. and then, dare I say it, another potential shootout against Ben Johnson
Starting point is 00:46:40 and the playoff-bound Chicago Bears in week 17. San Francisco can still really affect who wins the money this year. We talked about them when we were talking about best ball mania drafts on Underdog, certainly in home leagues, in FFPC, NFFC. So we'd like to have a little bit more clarity. But right now, Joanne Jennings is the more trustworthy wide receiver in San Francisco. he's had at least six targets in, I believe it's like six out of seven games. So Joanne Jennings, you're there.
Starting point is 00:47:11 But yeah, maybe Ricky Piersall ramps up, but keep him on your bench this week. Graham, we covered a ton.
