Hey, what's up? It's John Hansen. Week 11 is almost in the books. And me and Brian Drake are back to recap the Sunday action. It was overall a pretty good week. Still some buzzkill. Still a lack of scoring. The New York Jets are toast. The Falcons soiled the bed. The Niners were sussed. The lions are kicking tail. A lot going on. The Packer receivers are driving me crazy. And Anthony Richardson is back. So,
sit back and listen to about an hour of review, and we'll have some lessons learned coming out of week 11.
And as always, you're welcome.
All across the fantasy universe, week 11 in the books, we're here to talk about it all.
Brian Drake alongside the guru, John Hansen, publisher of FantasyPoints.com.
John, I was reading through Hansen's hints over at FantasyPoints.com, and I got to tell you,
you nailed it on a bunch of these plays, man.
You were talking about how Tua needs to throw multiple touchdowns to come through.
And he did.
You were talking about how, let's see, the matchup for MVS is good.
And he could come through.
And he did.
And it's just, I'm telling folks, you're losing money if you're not reading this damn article over here.
But we're going to break it all down and have a little fun along the way.
How is your week 11, my friend?
Yeah, I mean, there were certainly some good calls.
I thought it was a tick below what I was hoping overall.
But, yeah, I mean, we can only do so much here.
We can try and be predictive, which we are.
Yeah, it was a pretty good week.
I did, though, get kind of cleared out and cleaned out on the prop market.
Got pinched a couple of times.
I mean, we did get a few games that got a lot of points and all that.
But the theme continues for me.
Like we just don't get a lot of yards.
And we also get a lot of the impactful big place come from nobody's.
So, I mean, when you really look at it from that perspective, like let's even just take a look at this week.
How many star performances were there?
I mean, the lion guys went off.
Rique, Tyreek had a pretty good game.
Bowers did go off.
You know, the Ram guys did.
But we also had, you know, all the Taysom Hill.
I mean, you've got to be kidding me.
The Broncos guys, little Jordan Humphreys.
I mean, come on.
We had underwhelming performances there.
And for the most part, Baltimore against Pittsburgh.
You know, even Seattle, San Francisco.
you know like i mean purdy only threw for a buck 59 in a touch i mean he ran but i think the
the theme is it's we have a very small margin for error when we're looking at the the prop worlds but straight
up from fantasy which is really what hans and sense is about yeah it was a pretty solid week could
have been better it could have been a lot worse yeah i mean we talk about on this pod all the time like
hey nobody's throwing for 300 yards anymore and i mean you look at this week
three quarterbacks at the time of our recording went over 300.
Okay, of course, two guys went for $2.95.
So there's five guys.
But of those guys, Gough, Winston, Nick Stafford, Levis.
Like, how many of those guys are really starting in any fantasy lineup?
Nobody.
Like, maybe you started Winston because you're dead or go off in a two-tube league.
But, you know, you're not starting these guys.
Same at running back.
If your guys not catching passes, you're screwed.
We had one running back this week, go over 100 yards.
And that was on Thursday when my guy Sequin did.
So, yeah.
There's a very small margin for error.
I mean, I think that's the best way to say it.
You know, I've seen countless players.
And look, guys get on roles.
You know, they get hot, Joanne Jennings.
I mean, I did play a Joanne Jennings prop today.
It looks like a joke now because he got 91 yards.
But, you know, it does seem like, yeah, your guy's going to get some opportunities.
But if he doesn't take advantage,
of him like you're done like he might get two if he didn't take advantage of him you're not getting
the yards that you're expecting i think that's kind of the theme because a lot of not not a lot of
guys get pepper with targets these days yeah well you talk about slim margin for error how about
the chicago bears in this game with green bay the bears haven't beaten the packers in five years
and they were ready to do it on sundays they lined up for a game-winning field goal and
in pure bears fashion
it was blocked and the
bears lose 20 to 19
let's start with the
victors the green bay packers
you mentioned Jordan left the guy throws the ball
17 times
guru what are we going to do
I mean yeah Christian Watson goes for a buck
50 but the guy the last three weeks
had like 7 5 and 1
point nobody had Christian Watson in a lineup
you know and
I both kick of myself for not believing
in Tucker Kraft up until now.
And man, did I pick the
wrong week to believe in Tucker Kraft?
Because he goose egged you.
This offense is,
I mean, it's almost
it's almost anti-Gurific
here. It's a tough
go. There's a shame. Rie Mae is not going
anywhere. I mean,
I thought Jaden Reed had a great match. Well, I did.
You know, and that's the thing. Like, he did score.
Oh, we got you.
10 points but hey scored yeah uh but come on you know two targets watson you know i was in on watson
the summer very frustrating saw what he's capable of doing turning four targets into a buck 50
dude could catch two for 12 next week didn't like daubbins he didn't do much uh but yeah it's
frustrating and again we we can't work with 17 pass attempts i mean hey to his credit he threw for
261 which is absurd uh but a lot of that
was Watson and that's it
like we we need more than 17
pass attempts really we really do
especially when Jacobs gets five of
them yeah let's
talk about the bears because they were
rolling out a new offense and
I'll give the bears this
it looked like they shortened some things up
they were a lot better on third down
they were nine of 16 on third down
Caleb Williams looked a little more
under control 231 yards
again didn't throw any touchdown passes
but he was getting out and he was
running a little bit too. Caleb Williams ran nine times for 70 yards. So imagine if he could
throw a couple of freaking touchdown passes here, John. We'd be talking about, you know,
Caleb is somebody we'd want to stream from here or there. But I liked where we were going
with this offense this week. A dunzae, you wrote in your article, he looks like he's kind of ascending
to the lead dog. He goes six for 65. So, I mean, brighter days are ahead for the bears,
but right now they're just a bad team of the bad line. Yeah, I like how you framed.
that you know you do question how sustainable it is you know like doing screens to DJ more things like
that also kind of spread it around and we didn't have a ton of production but certainly this is progress
as you said uh i didn't really like the andre swift so that was my bet he got a great block on that
39 yard touchdown run give him credit but he didn't really do anything much else other otherwise yeah yeah
I mean, Adunze, I think you can feel all right about.
I guess more we can move up a little bit on our board,
but I still don't know if we're locks.
I think it's, it would be nice if we knew.
Like, dude, I hate to say it, just run.
You're going to have to run.
It's going to have to be a big part of your game.
Yeah, they got the Vikings this week.
That could be a problem.
Then you got Detroit and San Fran.
Then Minnesota again.
So, yeah, I'm not sure if we're out of the woods.
Not a lot of names on the waiver wire as we head into week 12.
One name that will be at the top, Rocheon Johnson.
At 44% of the Bears snaps this week, 13 of 16 third down attempts,
and he had two out of three of the rushing snaps inside the five.
So if you look at what Rochon put together here,
10 for 33 and a touchdown,
hey, as you get ready for the playoffs,
that's probably a guy if you want to put them on the back end of your roster
because if something happens to Swift,
or they start really splitting more carries down the middle.
Who knows?
Could be a viable option in the deep league.
Well, John...
Yeah, they're going to run.
They're going to run the ball.
I mean, that's what they did today, by the way.
Take the ball out of Caleb's hands a little bit, but, you know, eat up some clock.
Absolutely.
Let's take our first time out of the day.
And when we come back, oh, my goodness.
I don't know if Dougie Peterson survives the ride home from Motown, but the lions laid the wood to the Jags.
We're going to talk about it on the other side.
It's a fantasy points podcast.
John, it's not often that a team hangs 52 on an opponent,
but I believe the Lions have now done it twice this year.
The most points scored in the NFL this season,
and they could do whatever they wanted.
We don't have to spend a lot of time in this game,
but Jared Gough throwing for 4, 12, and 4 going off.
Amon Ra gets a buck 61 and 2.
Our guy, Jameson Williams, 1-24 in a score.
So, hey, you got to love it.
everybody's coming through with no la porta today the running backs are scoring they've scored a rushing
touchdown in like 25 straight games they're the best team in the nfc let's not much else i could say oh yeah
oh yeah give it up uh speaking of that hans and hints article if you read that you know we were
all in on amon ra also jameson williams i had him as a matchup to exploit me and the grinder told
probably freaking 25 people to start jameson this morning uh certainly
like Montgomery yeah Alliance you know it's hard to hard to handicapped golf I did
right like dude could easily throw two or three touchdowns easily but you know you
got to remember oh they could they could also run for four but they could run for
three and he can throw four as as what happened with such a good matchup yeah they're
they're unbelievable like they are going to win it I really feel very strongly that
the lines are going to win the at least the NFC title
and represent over on the other side you know it's um tough deal like i don't know how we could have
possibly endorsed brian thomas given his recent production or lack thereof yeah but he comes
through somehow garbage side everybody else everybody else forget about it uh et n jesus i i i
it kind of made it seem like i liked them but it just we i kept getting all these low-end questions
I'm like, I'll try E.N. I'm like, I don't really like them, but I'm like, how does he not catch four balls in this game? Only three for six. How many times have you seen this year a screen pass go absolutely nowhere?
Any time it goes to Travis E.N. That's what it's going absolutely. I mean, there's a lot of that in the NFL this year.
The NFL, I was telling my son this, because we were watching the bills and chiefs before this podcast starts. And it is a function of almost every pass.
game now is there's just always an outlet running back that just hangs out at the line of scrimmage.
And then the quarterback looks down the field and he sees the too high safety coverage and there's
nowhere to go. And they dump off underneath. And that guy picks up, you know, four or five yards and
gets tackled by a linebacker. But you see it all the time now. These outlets at the line of scrimmage,
it's it really is what the NFL has become nowadays. But lions don't have to worry about that.
They dropped 645 net yards in this game.
Oh, man.
Man, good stuff, good stuff.
So let's keep it rolling.
Not a whole lot going on there.
If you read Hansen's hints, and again, we love plugging that because there's so much
freaking good information, you talked about Jonu Smith of the Miami Dolphins.
And we mentioned him on the preview show that you guys hopefully listened to on Friday.
And hey, Mike Gassicki went off for 100 yards on the Raiders.
Travis Kelsey, a couple of weeks ago got 90 in a touchdown against these guys.
So John knew had a chance.
And John, he looks more and more.
like he's kind of the focal point of this offense even more so than Tyreek and especially forget
waddle you know so johnnew smith eight targets six for 101 and two what a day for john new
yeah i mean there's some sort of correlation with how teams are playing man coverage and keeping
everything in front of them that is correlating to johnnew smith being free
being open for like checkdowns you know Tyreek did flash a little bit pulling teeth to get them
to 70 yards nowadays a chan look really good moster got stonewalled um yeah waddles dead that's about it
beckham is a little bit of a factor on the other side oh my god i did write about how it was overall
a good spot for brock bowers and jacobie meyers but man bowers
Humphrey Bogart.
Oh, my God.
16 targets.
Again, Brock Bowers'
stardom against a zone-heavy defense.
Just start them.
And, oh, my God, what a day.
We're going to have to keep our eye on this Raiders backfield.
Madison and Zemir White both left this game with injuries.
Madison had an ankle, a quad for Zemir.
Who knows?
It could be the Amir Abdullah show next week.
They cannot run the ball a lick.
at all. In Oakland. It is bad.
We're cruising along here.
The Rams, I mention it every week, and people are probably sick of me saying it, but the Patriots
play a pesky brand of football. They compete every week, and they gave the Rams all they
can handle in Foxborough. Rams win 28, 22, and this is why we love the Rams. We know exactly
where the football's going. They're going to run the ball a ton with Kyran. He goes for 86 yards.
again, doesn't score, so that kind of blows his day up.
But these receivers.
No catches.
I know.
What the freaks going on?
Puka, seven for a buck 23 in a touchdown.
Cup goes six for 102.
Or six for 106 and two scores.
Just, hey, if you got those guys, you were so excited.
And Maddie Stafford throws four touchdowns today.
Yeah, I should have ranked Stafford a little higher, I believe.
Well, not too bad.
I had them over others like
Darnold May,
Gino,
Kerkie.
Okay, that was nothing too bad.
Yeah,
I was very high on Cooper Cup.
I had Cooper Cup because,
you know,
for those who don't know,
I do rankings still
that are based on projections.
And I actually had Cup
at Y Receiver 5 this week,
which is pretty high.
Pook at 10, though.
Pook is so good.
You know,
I kind of thought it would be a cup game.
Ultimately, it was,
but it felt,
like Puka was more dangerous in in the game but you know this was a big big win for them that they
needed yeah Kairn you know does average 15 5.7 yards to carry but I did see Blake quorum out there a bit
as well so you know he might be kind of touchdown dependent on the other side y'all this this may
have been Drake May's best game honestly I mean he looked he looked like a pro he obviously it's not
too big form there's a lot of physical ability they have all of a sudden a sneaky good depth with my guy
kendrick born to be alive i've always been a kendrick born guy i did like hunter henry today he was one of
my props i wrote him up uh on the on the on the hansansans article didn't really like douglas
actually he did well though uh but i did like henry that came through booty was involved like
yeah I mean the one thing is like it's hard to find one guy you can trust with born now involved
so it is a little week to week but it is good for may like just start may at this point like
if you're asking yourself these last few games should i start drake may the answer is yes yes you
should yeah and you know he's going to give the ball that was boy remandre to 20 carries for 73
for Ramandre also caught four balls.
So a nice day in a PPR.
Not bad. Not bad.
We'll take it.
We'll take it.
Cruising through the week 11 slate,
make sure you get over to FantasyPoint.com.
Rest of season, you can still get in.
We got all the information for DFS, props,
Dynasty, if you're a Dynasty, bro.
We got a great show on that two Dynasty Points.
Shout out to our guy, Thomas Tipple.
We puts that on.
So whatever you need, we got it for you over at FantasyPoint.com.
The only thing we don't have, John.
is Taysam Hill.
Taysom Hill was everywhere.
Maybe he was.
Maybe he wrote an article.
He edited one with Joe Dole.
He did props with the grinder.
Taysom Hill was everywhere.
He ran seven times for 138 and three touchdowns.
He threw a pass.
Actually, a couple.
One was picked off.
He caught eight balls for 50.
What can't this guy do, John?
Except crack one of my lineups because I'll never put him in.
Oh, it's unbelievable.
I think I have them in the Dynasty League.
I literally forgot to use them.
I mean, this is unbelievable.
I got to go check on.
Did I cut him?
The Fantasy Points of Dynasty League,
I'm just now realizing that I actually have them.
It's just, it's so non-predictive.
And that's why I hate it.
No, please.
I got to see this now.
Did I cut his ass?
But,
um,
I can.
Yes, I did. Yeah. Somehow I did. I cut him for Charlie Kohler. Wow.
No revenge game.
Screw you, guru.
Yeah, that was for the long term, but it's just unbelievable.
Like, and by the way, I feel like it, he ruined my Nick Chub prop that was, I guess in retrospect, a little dumb.
But, you know, you take away one of those big plays.
It's a more competitive game and he gets the carries and he was only 10 yards away.
like he he did average 4.5 yards of carry so I'm upset there
Judy I've been given love to on the waiver wire it's like unbelievable
we all did like Elijah Moore wrote that up too
you know he comes through six the one guy did like that
yeah the one guy I did like that really didn't was Tillman
but what are you going to do I mean I guess you can't all everyone can't go off
like they all can't go off there's got to be one at least one
man out this week it was telling me and if you're streaming quarterbacks and listen next week there's
six teams off and two weeks from now there's another six teams off so i know james winston is going to be
a name people are looking to pick up over the course of the season if he's going to drop back john
and throw 46 times i mean it's listen is he great no you can watch the game you go listen this guy's
all over the place, but he's going to throw for 400
freaking yards. Like, I'm in.
He can carry this guy.
Defense falling off. The running game's dead.
Forget about Chubb. Right. Right.
Right. Exactly.
Yeah, defense falling off, been falling off.
And in part because
of their running game is dead. And yeah,
Chub is, you cannot count on it at all. Yeah?
You know, look at the schedule. I will say, I
saw at least two, three balls
where it could have been picks.
Like, he has no picks.
No pick, no pick.
But he could have had a couple of picks for sure.
Got Pittsburgh and Denver and Pittsburgh and Casey.
Oh, boy.
Don't like that.
The Pittsburgh game is Thursday night.
That's never good.
I might be get out there and sell, sell, Jerry Judy.
Hey, you know, we're looking at the Saints, okay, and everybody's dead.
They've got nobody to throw to football to, right?
It's obvious they gave Tayson Hill 10 targets.
But at least we kind of know with this team where everything's going.
It's going to be a lot of Kamara on the ground,
and he's always going to get his checkdowns.
It's going to be now, we know Taysam Hills involved,
so we can kind of start banking on that.
And last week on the show, we talked about Marquez, Valdez Scantling.
And I think you said something of the effect of like,
if he goes off again, I'm going to quit fantasy.
A guy tweeted at us after Valdez Scalding scored.
He's like, guru, you got to be a fact.
to quit the game now because scantling might have to but i think i feel like the technicality
yeah yeah because i honestly like full disclosure we do the pod because it's released
friday morning so you we're certainly not getting up at freaking six a m or whatever to do it and we're
certainly not doing it during the game thursday and we're certainly not doing it after the game so what does
that mean we do it before the game so we do it what we do it what
Is that mid afternoon now?
Something like that?
Full exposure.
We record the preview show like Thursday at like 10.
Right.
Right.
Even before that, exactly.
So, but after we did the recording, I happened, you know, once I started to really look into it.
I was like, oh, crap.
You know, he's going to do it again.
And someone in the FBI, Fantasy Points Invitational on Sirus XM, someone dropped them,
which really surprised me because that's a 14 team skank.
like and there's just ass available at receiver so I was like oh okay so I had to bid for
him but and I'm dying at receiver you know I started Parker Washington in week 10 okay that's how bad I
am so I'm like all right I got to go for it so I got him uh and I started him and he he crushed it
so I feel like that might offset it because I did you know I did change my mind but well before we got
to actual game time.
I wish I would have had some
MVS damn. I started Ricky Pearsall
who got me a whole lot of nothing
out there. Oh yeah, yeah.
Me and the Grindr were talking about this morning
on the live stream because
in the other, there's two FBI
leagues and you and
him are in the other one. He had
MVS and the other one. I'm like, well, we're just a couple
of MVS bros here. Yeah?
I tweeted out during the game.
I said, listen, if you own MVS,
he's in every week's start for you.
going forward unless you're loaded at wide receiver because he's playing the Rashid Shaheed role.
They're going to take deep shots to him.
And even this touchdown he scored, it wasn't a deep shot.
It was just a play that he caught like an eight-yard pass and just ran down the field.
He's really fast.
They have nobody else.
And they're always in shootouts because their defense sucks.
He's the perfect guy to play in fantasy.
Because if he hits, it's going to be a 15-point play for you.
Oh, he's clicking with Derek Carr.
By the way, MVS came on the serious XM show once with me and Mr. C.
He was boring as hell.
Terrible interview.
Oh, boy.
But apparently he's a decent fantasy option.
We'll see.
We'll see.
Hey, we had the return of Anthony Richardson.
You want to get put to sleep.
Go watch this Jets offense play.
Those two hooked it up at MetLife.
We're going to talk about that after this timeout.
It's the Fantasy Points podcast.
Anthony Richardson's back.
He's going against Aaron Rogers, who, oh, boy, that's a tough watch, John.
The Colts get it done 28, 27, just another nail in the Jets coffin.
And so let's talk about Anthony Richardson.
He returns.
He throws for 272 in a touch, you know, keeps our guy Josh Downs involved.
Pittman again comes up small, five for 46.
But Richardson runs for two touchdowns.
That's where we loved him so much in the pre-draft conversation with this kid can run and he's a bulldozer down by the goal line.
So if he can keep that up, hey, now we're talking about a fantasy asset here.
What did you think of a Colts offense today?
One bad, you know, if you again go back into Hans and Hence, I wrote, the last thing I wrote in the write up was, well, I guess it wasn't the last thing.
or was it?
Basically, oh, yeah, it was.
My gut is that it comes
through a productive game, basically.
And a lot of that was the running.
Unfortunately, I lost the damn prop
over 38 and a half yards,
even though he ran it 10 times.
The analysis was correct.
I sometimes now think that
when I lose,
it's because I am seeing
something that
the defense is also
seeing, and they
sell out to stop like Anthony Richardson running it. But I got to give a shout out to Josh Downs.
You know, I mean, we are we we are of the of the mindset that we got to pull back from Downs
with AR. But you know, and me and the grinder. I mean, we didn't tell everyone to sit them, but we
did tell a couple of people, but we did bring up like not like he's been worthless with AR.
I mean, the fact of the matter is Downs is like the
go-to guy in this passing it. So,
you know, he came through.
I'd tell you, I sat Michael Pittman in a couple of leagues.
I was looking and I might have sat him for MVS in a league.
Michael Pittman doesn't have double-digit fantasy points.
You have to go all the way back to week six when he had 12 and a half.
I don't know what's going on with this guy.
If he's hurt or it's the quarterback player, or what it is, but he's got nothing going on here, John.
And next week, he gets a face off against Detroit.
I don't know, man.
I don't know what you do.
He's involved?
I mean, you know, yeah.
I mean, you know, again, you're looking at him at like maybe, maybe he gets me 10 points.
I mean, that's what you're looking at.
Oof.
Yeah, not great.
Not great at all.
Okay day for Johnny Taylor on the ground.
I mean, 57 yards, that's not going to help you guys at all.
I caught one ball.
They're feeding him.
You get 2.4 yards of carry.
That's not going to help anybody.
I mean, they stack.
it, man. They were just stacking up, stacking that box.
For the Jets, and you wrote this up as well. We've mentioned on the pot a few times.
If the Jets are going to be successful, they need to feed the ball to Brees Hall.
He's the best player that they have. And up until almost half time of this game, John,
the Jets didn't have a first down. I mean, they couldn't move the football.
It's so bad, so bad watching these guys play. But Brees does come through 78 yards.
and a touch on the ground also catches seven passes for 43.
Like this should be their M.O. every week.
Every week. Every freaking week.
In the ball.
Idiots.
Yeah, exactly.
Because,
because Rogers, to me,
and again, you look at the box score,
like, yeah, 22 or 29.
You know, at the end of the game,
it's like,
it's like that I've seen this movie so many times.
Old man quarterback trying to bring the team back at the end of the game.
and it's just not happening, dude.
And you go down like a sack of potatoes.
That's, that's, that's Rogers now.
Big spot, drop back.
He's back to pass and he's sacked.
That's their offense at the end of games now.
Yeah, he can't get out of his own way.
And he looks like a guy who's afraid to get hit out there, to be honest.
Like he looks like, yeah, yeah, you know.
So it's over for a friend.
This is a nightmare.
What a disaster.
Okay game for the-
Gary Wilson, four for 18?
I mean,
I mean, come on.
I can't even.
Jets suck.
5.8 points
in a PPR in America?
I don't even know what to do with the Jets.
I don't even know what to do.
Jets going to jet.
Make fun of them.
That's what we do.
Well, we're good at that.
If you're desperate at quarterback going forward,
what do you tell somebody about Anthony Richardson?
if he's on their way or wire.
Go, absolutely.
Yeah, I actually had in my top 12 this week.
I felt pretty good about it.
Like, again, you know, I've said this a million times.
I'll say it again, like when you're gonna run
and augment the value, like I'm not expecting to score every week,
but you'll probably get five points a week on the ground.
I mean, AR got 15 today, 16, you know,
so average it that.
out so now now you only have to throw for 200 slash one that's it pretty much otherwise we're
good you know we're good we're all right easiest under of the year to bet was baltimore pittsburgh
uh people were expecting fantasy bonanza here and uh we did not get even close to that 18 16
Steelers win at acrosure which i never can say very well so it's very proud of myself for spitting that
out. Naji Harris,
63 yards on the ground.
It's just this was a slog.
This was two teams that don't like each other, John.
It was hard hitting.
It looked like a playoff game out there.
For the Steelers, the only thing you can really pull out of this is George Pickens is
badass.
Eight for 89.
You know, everything kind of went through him or, or Najee.
And, you know, the Steelers kicked a million field goals.
If you had Chris Boswell, congratulations, because he probably got you 20 freaking
points in your league.
yeah boswell was uh the shite if you will um nausea looked really good by the way i used to get away
with that on serious instead of saying shit i'd say this guy shite the bed um i guess that's like
the scottest version i think oh look at his shite anyway um yeah george is the man a little
underwhelmed with a friar meuth i thought maybe do a little bit more with a great matchup uh but man
naji looks pretty good i know uh 3.5 yards of carry but he made a couple on block defenders miss
against a lesser opponent he could have gone off in this one you know he does catch four balls for 30
so that was a good day at the office and warren maybe the back was an issue i did think he would
catch four or five balls he caught four uh but actually no he had a pretty good day uh so he got
four points on the ground.
Yeah, he got 11 points.
That's not bad.
Russ Wilson will have better days.
I know a lot of folks are picking him up to stream him.
Only 205 yards passing.
No touchdown passes for Russell Wilson.
Didn't really do anything on the ground either.
Well, let's go look at the Ravens here.
Lamar, Mr. MVP, does nothing.
207 yards passing, does throw one touchdown.
Also, with an interception, 46 yards.
It's rushing. I mean, the Steelers, man, they just, they know how to play Lamar Jackson,
and these games are always so hard fought. Derek Henry goes for 65 and a touchdown had a
costly fumble early in that game. And one thing I saw John from the receiving end,
Isaiah likely was a big part of this game for the Ravens. I remember he's missed the last few,
so that is why our guy, Mandrews really stepped up. With likely on the field, Mark Andrews was an
afterthought. You know, caught two for 22. I don't even think I remember those two plays.
Zay Flowers caught a touchdown, but it kind of shows a game like this against a really good
defense. This receiving core is spotty. You know, Zay Flowers is, he's a number two. Bateman's
really like a four. And then you got, you're just rolling out a bunch of tight ends. So it's,
I don't know. I think this showed the warts this game of this Baltimore offense.
Yeah, yeah, that's fair.
I mean, there were so many good data points to point to Zay Flowers.
And, you know, again, it's like he scored, but very underwhelmed, didn't like Bateman much.
Yeah, likely is a problem for sure.
I actually didn't love managers in this game.
It wasn't a great schematic matchup.
But, you know, we don't have a ton of production to go around with Lamar, you know, completes what?
You know, 50% of his passes.
So wasn't a great day for Lamar.
And they've got Pittsburgh again.
I actually listed Lamar, by the way,
as a player to trade last week
because I'm like,
if you need points in the next month,
I'm not sure we're going to get them
because you got bad matchups.
You got Pittsburgh here.
And then you have the chargers.
They're pretty good.
Then you got the Eagles.
They're nasty.
Then you have a buy.
Okay, so it was just a one Pittsburgh.
But after that,
you got the Giants into Pittsburgh Steelers.
So yeah, I mean, I kind of feel like,
and look, he wasn't terrible today,
but he's been a little over his skis a little bit,
like going off.
Kind of might be due for a little lull here for Lamar.
Your Vikings get back in the win column,
2313 win over the Tennessee Titans.
This was like, to me,
it seems harder than it needed to be
for a Vikings team that's, you know,
kind of cruising their way towards the playoffs.
Sammy Darnold,
your guy sample size sam he throws a pair of touchdowns today one to jordan addison and then one to cam
acres so it's nice to see you know sammy donald bounced back of course after i drop his ass and i start
russ wilson in his place so great job drake uh Aaron jones tough day 39 yards rushing did he leave
at one point i think i saw in the game he and even think so yeah yeah i mean he had to have right
and carries 2.6 yards of carry.
That's against Tennessee.
Okay.
It's not good.
Kind of a ho-hum game overall for your Vikings here.
Addison, good to see him back in the land of the living
because it's been a really a struggle for him the last couple of weeks.
Yeah, I mean, finally they, I mean, actually, ironically,
I had a bad catch rate, catching only three of eight targets,
but they finally actually gave him, you know, some opportunities.
You know, the guy's been getting like three or four balls or three or four chances.
Last week I lost a prop.
He was open for a 20-yarder and freaking sample size Sam threw it over his head.
I didn't love Hawkinson here just on a gut feel, I guess matchup wise.
Jefferson still eight.
And then Donald, yeah, I thought I made a mistake starting Richardson over Donald.
Maybe I did, but, you know, yeah, because Donald ran one in.
But yeah, that was a good day at the office.
How the hell does Will Levis, though?
How do how does it?
Well, I guess I know.
Your boy, Nick Westbrook-A-Kiney, pumping up that box score, man, 98-yard.
Are you kidding me?
It's take that away.
Now we don't throw for 200 yards.
I mean, give me a break.
I know.
Nick Westbroker-Kiney and Marquez-Valdes Scantling, the all hyphen squad here.
If you need just, you know, one catch for 95 yards, these guys will come through for you.
I sing that to the Lion King song, by the way.
What is it?
Westbrook Aquine
Philosophy.
Yeah, I do that just for my own entertainment.
I thought you're going to do it off the beginning.
Westbroker Keeney.
I've actually never seen that damn movie.
I've never even seen the movie, actually.
What?
You've never seen the Lion King?
Never seen it.
Nah, never seen it.
Oh, my God.
Have you seen the Broadway show?
show?
Take the misses.
Never saw it.
It was good.
I watched my 11th Taylor Swift
concert last night on TV.
So that's what I'll tell you what I have seen, though.
I'll tell you what I have seen is the movie
Kung Powell. Do you ever see that?
Do you ever hear of it?
Kung Powell.
Is it like Kung Powell, the legend of something, something?
Is that the name of it?
Yes.
It's this pari.
movie with like it's like literally using dubbed over voices like but as a joke kind of but there's there's a
scene where it's like this deep voice it's like the lion king's like go to your destiny well blah blah you know
and then and then at the end of it he goes this is CNN as James Earl Jones I I lost it when I saw that's one of our that's a Hanson family
favorite that that that movie is a is a handsome family favorite that that's like you know like where
the kids are like 10 years old and they get it too it's just yeah kung pal check it out i'm in that
world right now with kids who are 12 and 10 so i'm always trying to find stuff that they can watch
we've watched get get i'm telling you get kung pal dude get it i'm telling you they'll they'll love it
i mean you might not make it through the whole thing but you got to get to the james joe jones voice
no that scene yeah we couldn't even get through the
the full Tennessee Titans box
score here. It's so boring. Oh, yeah, yeah.
Let's talk about Chigia Conquo
and it's two for 19.
There's nothing going on with this team.
Enough of this team. I can't take it anymore.
Let's talk about the biggest fraud
in the NFL and it's the Atlanta Falcons.
Falcons go to six and five.
Falcons really should have like four wins.
Remember, they're a Sequin Barkley
dropped walking touchdown.
And, you know, they beat the Saints
on a miraculous last second field goal.
They should have four wins at this point.
And they get smoked by Bow Nix and the Denver Broncos,
who don't look now.
This Broncos team looks good, John.
They should have beat Kansas City a week ago.
They annihilate the Falcons here at home.
And I guess the big story for us, aside from Bo Nix throwing for 400,
four touchdowns and 300 yards, everybody went and picked up Audrake Estime.
And then Sean Peyton turns around double middle fingers in the air.
And he's like, nah.
Just kidding, guys.
F you.
Suck it.
Suck it.
It's still Javante.
I actually started him in the FPI.
But you know what's,
it's frustrating is,
okay,
I'll give it up to Sean Payton.
Give him credit.
What's his face?
Vance Joseph,
crushing it.
But can we please stop
with all these super scrubs?
because they're almost impossible to to handicap i mean i actually did write up valet uh in the uh in the uh in the
uh hans and sense article but it i died inside a little bit uh writing it and then now we have
little jordan humphrey like can we stop with with these guys but hey marv mims
looked pretty good on that 37 yarder but i i got to give it up to bow
Nick's and Sean Payton it's it's it's unbelievable and then they you know they do have a one in
courtland Sutton that's the whole thing with this team if you got to start Bo Nex you're streaming
a quarterback by week filling great start Bo necks courtlin Sutton you can play every single week
the rest of these guys forget about it you'll never get it right never get it right uh for
Atlanta hey what not a great day for our guy Mooney he gets hurt two for 27 leaves the game
hopefully he's okay because shit
I'm starting him in a big league with 14 team or I can't afford to lose him.
He's like my wide receiver three.
Yeah, I don't know, man.
I mean, it's not good.
Hamstring is scary.
Jeez, Louise.
Kirkie looked like an old man back there.
You know, a lot of it.
I did get some things right here.
I like the Bejohn receiving prop.
It was my number two prop of the day because they were giving up a lot in the passing game, although he barely hit it.
And I didn't like the running.
I didn't like him running.
I should have played his under.
Didn't love London.
He, you know, 3 for 60.
But the bus kill was freaking Pitts.
I mean, that's, I thought it would be a big Pitts game.
Should have been.
You know, the schematics were good, but, you know, they laid an egg.
Basically, they got their asses handed to them.
Buddy of mine, that's also a fantasy point subscriber.
Shout out to him.
My guy, Gabe Butler.
He texts me during the game.
He goes, if Kyle Pitts was drowning in a lake, I would throw him an anchor.
I'm like, okay, geez, Louise.
He's the one guy.
I show up to my home league draft every year.
The one clown who's got a fantasy points cheat sheets.
It's right next to me.
I go, come on.
Like this is supposed to be my advantage here.
Long time fan here.
Bejan, you know, 35 yards rushing.
That's not going to help anybody.
But, you know, like four receptions.
Just burn the tape.
It was a bad day.
It was a bad day.
Yeah.
It was terrible.
All right.
One final time out.
here when we come back don't look now but the lead in the NFC west for the
Arizona Cardinals is growing thanks to the Seattle Seahawks last second win don't
go anywhere this is a wild one it's a fantasy points podcast John it's not
every day that somebody walks into Levi's Stadium and walks off the San Francisco
49ers but that's exactly what Gino Smith did on Sunday with a rushing touchdown
to give the Seahawks a 20 to 17 win.
This really puts a hurting on the 49ers in their playoff hopes going forward now.
49ers fall to 5 and 5.
Just this jumbled mess in the NFC West.
The Cardinals are in first place.
But we had Ken Walker get in the box.
It was nice to see because he hasn't been there in a while.
And Jackson Smith and Jigba, 10 catches, 110 yards.
Listen, I'm not a guy who's been a big JSN guy.
guru but i mean this is impressive to see him do this with dk back yeah yeah um exactly like you know
this is another example though of like okay great we you know like he kind of bull guarded everything
i did i did win a dk prop barely uh well i guess i guess he got it by 10 yards but of course we
locket died no tight ended anything i was a
considering a walker receiving prop luckily i didn't do it so there's not there was none of that so it's
kind of you know we got three guys i guess three is better than two or one but you know three guys had
good days would be nice to get maybe another guy or two uh and then on the other side i mean mcalfrey
doesn't look that great running the rock i'll say that um and again like can we can we get a little bit
more here guys like jennings is just taking over debo was freaking worthless i i personally didn't love
debo in this game i know others did but i don't know i wasn't feeling it um i did i guess i like jennings
i played his prop but yeah i mean can we get a little bit more guys like a little bit more then we
had pierceau and this is with kiddle out so it's just frustrating there's just not enough production
So this is what I'm saying, like the margin for error for these players is small.
Yeah, and how much do you think the 49ers right now seeing what they got in Jouan Jennings are regretting the brand of IUC contract?
Because now Iyuk's out for the year.
You just paid a ton of dope to Ayuk.
You got Jennings making a fraction of that and he's doing the same damn thing.
Like, oh.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I think they're going to have to get rid of Debo.
at some point.
Right.
Yeah, Debo goes four for 22.
They're not even getting anything out of Debo on the ground.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I mean, Purdy, the one thing about Purdy is he's freaking running now all over the place.
Every time I looked up, he was running in this game.
Every time.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Or throwing at the Jennings or McCaffrey.
That was it.
That was it.
I mean, Purdy, who a week ago was one of the top quarterbacks in fantasy,
throws for a buck 59.
I mean, what the hell?
Come on, man.
Seattle defense isn't that good.
Let me give me a break.
No.
All right.
Let's wrap it up here.
Game of the day out in Orchard Park.
The Bills take the chiefs from the ranks of the unbeaten.
30 to 21 Buffalo gets the victory.
This was a fun game to watch.
This is back and forth.
It felt like a playoff game.
But for fantasy, John, there really,
wasn't much going on.
Thank God.
Our guy James Cook gets in the box twice,
but he only runs for 20 yards.
This game was really just dominated by these two quarterbacks
making a bunch of plays to some of the rando dudes.
And each team,
you look at the box score in these games,
each team has 58 guys catching a pass.
That's exactly what this game was.
Khalil Shakir was my number one prop today.
And it did hit on 12 targets.
So shout out to him.
eight for 70 all of a sudden freaking curtis samuel is coming on dawson knox was all right you know
i don't think you could have asked for too much more four for 40 would have been nice maybe
maybe five for 50 would have been nice still not throwing much or getting much from james cook
in the passing game here you know that's what i'm saying like there's a lot of like just checkdowns
for nothing james cook had five catches for seven yards i'll take the five points yeah yeah yeah
you know and luckily yeah it gets too short touchdowns
Xavier worthy just when we buried him he actually showed up
but I didn't love Kelsey even though
he had a good history in the matchup I did get pinched on
Kareem Hunt they got me I thought oh 14 yards receiving he'll do that
nope to your point really do we have to throw to
Miko Hardman Peyton Henderson shot
do do Smith Schuster Frank Colliando's son
M. Colliando
Carson's
Steele, Noah Gray,
and Justin Watson.
Stop.
I know.
I know.
It was tough.
I mean,
Mahomes throws for
196 yards,
gets you three touchdown.
So that's great,
but he did have two interceptions.
So if you get penalized for those,
sorry.
It's my best.
Who the hell is Colliando,
by the way?
It was a tackle eligible play.
Oh,
that's right.
Okay.
So they threw it to him and he got like a third-down conversion.
But hey, you know what?
I did like what I saw from Xavier Worthy.
They were trying to get him involved a lot more.
He just doesn't have very good spatial awareness.
For like the second game in a row,
there's a play on the sideline where he doesn't drag his foot.
He would have had a big reception.
And he just only got one foot down.
But that'll come.
He's got tons of speed out there.
So I'm not looking to get rid of this guy.
I saw a lot of people talking in Dynasty.
They're like, oh, you know, I'd get rid of Worthy.
he's not worth what you paid for him.
Yeah, no, I'd probably buy low, yeah.
I'd probably buy low.
Why not?
Yeah.
He's definitely shown it.
I mean, he's absolutely at least shown he could run away from people in the NFL.
No one.
No question about it.
And Kareem Hunt, while we still have him until week 12, when Pacheco comes back, he goes
14 for 60, doesn't score.
So kind of hurts you there.
But, you know, if you're playing him in a flex, kind of is.
That was a good buy.
A sell high recco I had two weeks ago.
I'm like sell, sell, sell, sell, sell.
Coming off that big game.
Now you're screwed.
Hey, folks, next week, we have six teams on by.
Falcons, Bill, Bengals, Bengals,
eggs, Saints, Jets.
I hope you'll listen to us and went out ahead of time.
And we're picking up some players to cover some of these quarterbacks.
You know, there's going to be no, no Josh Allen.
There's no Joey Burrow.
So it's going to get crazy out there.
All right.
And if you need some defensive recommendations, I'm telling you, pick up the bucks,
pick up the Cardinals.
Their schedule the rest of the way is unfreaking believable.
So it's my little mention to you guys.
Anything else, John, here on a weird and wild week 11 slate?
No, I mean, we're doing the best we can.
I think we've articulated not to make excuses,
but some of the challenges in this current NFL.
Well, by the way, today was kind of boring.
Don't you think?
It was tough.
I was glad as an Eagles fan to just sit there and enjoy football
and not have to stress about the birds game.
But, yeah, there wasn't much going on.
No.
What are we going to do?
We're going to do.
That's one word, by the way.
We've gone do.
Hashtag.
We've got to put that in the show notes here.
Hashtag, we've got to.
