The player that I have circled here is Egbuka. If we had done a show predicting 2026 ADP in the middle of last year, Egbuka would have been a guy that we said, this guy's going to be an early second round pick. Then the season kept going, and now Egbuka has slid. This is Zach Robinson on Egbuka.
Starting point is 00:00:52 He is an unbelievable player. Just the versatility that he brings within the route tree, run after catch. there is really nothing that he cannot do. Obviously, you guys all saw it up close and all throughout the year. So any player making that jump from year one to year two to year three, you expect to see great strides. So listen, don't take my word for it. Zach Robinson is now an a Mecca Agbuka hype man.
Starting point is 00:01:19 You should probably be hyping him too. That's him. That's the old cheat. Which players are early winners of the offseason, based on head coach and offensive coordinator hires. Theo Greminger, Fantasy Football Daily, right here on the Fantasy Points Podcast Network and Fantasy Points YouTube.
Starting point is 00:01:55 This has been a wild, wild offseason. A wild off season for the sport of football when you want to talk about head coaching changes. We saw this in college football, a bunch of big high-profile jobs, Michigan, Penn State, Florida, multiple head coaching jobs filled by new coaches, and it continued into the NFL level. 10 new head coaching hires this offseason.
Starting point is 00:02:20 And we're going to have 21 new offensive coordinators, which is just nuts when we're talking about the lack of continuity. But I think continuity has become a little bit overrated in this sport. This is a quick change type sport. Look at the Super Bowl right now. Seattle, Clint Kubiak, year one offensive coordinator there. Now he's a head coach. Mike McDonald, year two head coach there.
Starting point is 00:02:46 And they're favored in the Super Bowl against the New England Patriots. New England, what do we have there? Mike Vrable, year one. Josh McDaniels, year one in that system. Football is a get better quickly sport, especially at the NFL level, more and more often. So I think there's a lot of hope that comes with new hires. And for fantasy football, we've got to sift through everything. because you've got the, like, all these talking heads with so many, so many comments to make about, frankly, people that we have lack of sample size.
Starting point is 00:03:22 How do they run a team? How do they run an offense? But we do have a few things we can fall back on and try to sift through, find some winners. Obviously, there's going to be some losers, but today we'll look at some winners and a couple of players that we should rest assured their 2026 season could look a lot. like their 2025 season. We're going to rip through. We're going to go over this. Over the next few weeks,
Starting point is 00:03:46 I'm going to unpack this a lot more. We'll get way more detail oriented. So people looking for the really detailed stuff, that's coming. This is going to be some vibes-based takes, but I think there's a couple of takes here we're going to have today that can help you in your early 2026 preparation
Starting point is 00:04:03 and just basically sifting through all this craziness that we've had the last few weeks. And let's start off with, the player in a situation where nothing changed. And that's a good thing. And it's the Jacksonville Jaguars. And this is a situation where I think Trevor Lawrence comes out of the wreckage of this early offseason basically unscathed.
Starting point is 00:04:29 There's a few things that we need to keep an eye on in Jacksonville. Obviously Travis E.T.N is going to be an upcoming free agent. That's one where ETN played so well in that offense. if they move off of him, there's going to be some shifts in just the personnel. Do they use a little more LeQuint Allen, a little more basal-tuton? Do they sign another running back? There could be a situation where this is a lateral move for some sort of free agent. But anyway, when it comes to Trevor Lawrence, Lawrence had such a strong fantasy season this year.
Starting point is 00:05:05 The best year we've seen from Trevor Lawrence in year one when it comes to, to Liam Cohen. And there was a situation where Liam Cohen could have lost multiple coordinators this year. There was steam that Grant Udinski, the offensive coordinator, was going to get a head coaching job. He's one of these like smartest man in the room types, younger type guy. I think that that will be a name that we keep an eye on for the 27 season. But 2026, he remains in Jacksonville. They retain their defensive coordinator as well. And then they also pick up. up as a run game coordinator, they pick up Brian Piccucci, who diving into some of this, this information.
Starting point is 00:05:50 They're pretty excited about this hire as the run game coordinator. He was the offensive line coach in Tampa Bay, ends up in Jacksonville. So if anything, the Jacksonville coaching staff has gotten better. And when you look at the personnel with Trevor Lawrence there, Parker Washington, getting better, younger player, Brian Thomas, playing hurt a lot. of last year and the little regression there, certainly with his performance, but we do have a sample size of Brian Thomas as a rookie performing very strongly. And then Jacoby Myers slam dunk for them as a trade pickup at the deadline. They have resigned him, extended him. So you know heading into
Starting point is 00:06:31 the season, you're going to have Jacoby Myers, you're going to have Parker Washington, and hopefully a bounce back year from Brian Thomas Jr. Pretty good stuff right there. Really, when you're looking at it, the wide receiver position, regardless of what they do with Travis Hunter, things are looking good for Trevor Lawrence, retain that coaching staff. Brenton Strange missed a lot of time last year. So we like what we're seeing in Jacksonville. Jacksonville is a team that nothing changed. So I know I said the beginning of the show, continuity doesn't matter, but good continuity obviously matters.
Starting point is 00:07:05 Liam Cohen and Grant Udinski, really, really strong stuff right there. keeping it going. We have a hire in Baltimore. Baltimore ends up hiring Declan Doyle, which is a very interesting hire. Declan Doyle coming from the Ben Johnson coaching tree ends up in Baltimore as the OC. He's a really interesting hire. This is a 30-year-old. So a lot of people will talk about how he wasn't calling the plays last year in Chicago. This was a really interesting hire. This was a 30-year-old. So a lot of people will talk about how he wasn't calling the plays last year in Chicago. This was a really. He was a really. Ben Johnson. But apparently Doyle very involved in the process. This is a guy that's been really fast-tracked for a lot of jobs. And Philadelphia showed a ton of interest in hiring Doyle.
Starting point is 00:07:52 Instead, he ends up in Baltimore with this new staff. So leaves a situation that by all accounts is really good. Chicago has a lot of young talent. Chicago is an ascending offense. Things are working with Ben Johnson,
Starting point is 00:08:07 with Caleb Williams, Colston, Loveland, Burden, Dunezay, etc. There's a lot to like about the Chicago offense, and Doyle left to take over in Baltimore. So for me, this higher, certainly there's a chance that this is a big bounceback season for Lamar Jackson. Certainly, we don't want to fade Derek Henry, one of the all-time guys who's destroyed the age apex. But what's interesting to me is this hire bringing over.
Starting point is 00:08:39 someone from a Ben Johnson coaching tree. Ben Johnson, if you look at the success in Detroit, there was a lot of success running the football, but there was certainly balance associated with the Detroit offense. We saw that last year in Chicago. Caleb Williams took big strides forward. The passing game was solid and the run game was effective. Now, in Baltimore, we've seen multiple seasons now.
Starting point is 00:09:04 Really, for the extent of Lamar Jackson's career, where Baltimore was towards the very bottom in pass attempts as a team. So for me, I love this hire for Zay Flowers. I think there's an opportunity here that Zayflowers has his big career season as a Baltimore Raven. I've talked about him on a couple of podcasts. I've talked about him from a dynasty lens. I've talked about him from a redraft lens. When we look at Zay Flowers, it could all come together for him.
Starting point is 00:09:37 in this offense. Zayflowers is young enough. He's productive enough. Last year he took big strides forward, average 14 points over 14 points per game in fantasy, 1,200 receiving yards. We've got a bunch of outs with Zay Flowers. Certainly if my thesis is correct, and we see the targets for him go from 118, let's say to the 140 range. Not a crazy, crazy number. I think very, very attainable. The production can go up there. There's also a chance that he runs pure with the touchdown scoring, where every year Flowers has scored four or five touchdowns in his career.
Starting point is 00:10:20 Maybe we can get that number up to eight or nine. I think that Zay Flowers in this Declan Doyle offense is a name that we want to keep an eye on for fantasy football and certainly a player that has benefited from the coaching hire. Now, we'll take a forward-thinking player here. The next player I want to talk about, and what's interesting is we see Kevin Stefansky hired by the Atlanta Falcons, and Stefansky coming from Cleveland ends up bringing Tommy Reese with him. So if you're a college football fan, the name Tommy Reese,
Starting point is 00:10:58 like Tommy Reese has been a guy who his star, like, continued to run. rise in college football associated with a bunch of big jobs, Alabama, Notre Dame. Last year in Cleveland, sort of a quiet name. Obviously, Cleveland struggled, but Tommy Reese comes over with Kevin Stefansky. Stephansky is known to call the plays. Rees sort of a figurehead, sort of what we saw last year with the Doyle, Ben Johnson. But Staphansky has said that Tommy Reese is going to call the plays. Now, there was a recent Bejohn Robinson, quote that's on X. You can look at it. We're Bijan's super excited about the Kevin Stefansky hire, talking about how
Starting point is 00:11:41 Stafansky calls the plays, but we don't know which way it's going to go. But basically, Stefansky coming over from Cleveland, brings the staff with him, brings his O.C. with him. It's sort of saying that the things that were wrong in Cleveland have nothing to do with the coaching staff. We're running it back with a much more talented roster in Atlanta. Sort of, I like the confidence from Stafansky there. The players seem to love this hire in Atlanta. We'll see how that goes. But you have a big impending free agent in Kyle Pitts
Starting point is 00:12:13 where you look at the success that tight ends have had in the Kevin Stofansky offense. And now some of it was out of necessity. And certainly Drake London is a beast on the outside, 16 points per game in back-to-back seasons, locked in fantasy football asset. Certainly Bejohn Robinson is the truth, one of the best players in the NFL.
Starting point is 00:12:35 Why am I even talking about it? You already know this. Bejohn Robinson might be the 101. And if he's not your 101 heading into 2026, he's your 103 floor, 104 floor. Locked in top four pick next year. And for me, he's my 101 right now. But I look at Kyle Pitts. Kyle Pitts in a Kevin Stefansky system operating as the number two target.
Starting point is 00:13:00 We saw the steps forward that Pitts took. this year. Then we look at what Cleveland has done the last few years. David and Joku for three, really three seasons in a row, putting up very, very solid tight end numbers, including a league winner multiple seasons where David and Joku putting up really big numbers at the tight end position, especially relative to his ADP cost. Now you've got the opportunity for Kyle Pitts to step into this system. We saw how Harold Fanon. Jr. excelled on a team that had a lot of issues, but Fanon Jr. fast-tracked right out the gate, 21 years old, led Cleveland in targets, receptions, receiving yards, receiving touchdowns, all of it.
Starting point is 00:13:48 Kyle Pitts, if Atlanta retains him, I think is in a tremendous place to have another top five tight end finish next year. I think Kyle Pitts could be really, really strong in this offense. I think you're going to see a lot of play action in this offense. And I think you're going to see Kyle Pitts potentially taking his game to another level. Pitts could end up scoring more touchdowns than he did this year, just naturally with Atlanta being better. So love that one. Let's take a quick break. When we come back, we're talking about the Detroit Lions.
Starting point is 00:14:20 Who benefits from the Drew Petzing hire right after this? Boarding for flight 246 to Toronto is delayed 50 minutes. What? Sounds like Ojo Time. Oh Joe, great idea. Starting point is 00:15:47 You can find that right here on Fantasy Points YouTube. The 2026 NFL draft podcast, Brett Whitefield and myself, we're going to be dropping a brand new NFL mock draft right here on this channel. We're going to be joined by Outfell. Alex Dunlop of roster watch, really sharp guy. And we're going to be dropping NFL podcast, NFL draft podcasts, pretty much every single week, some weeks, multiple ones as we get closer to the finish line with the NFL draft in sight. Keep an eye on that one.
Starting point is 00:16:18 And then Dynasty Life, My Dynasty Show. And you can find that over at Fantasy Points, Dynasty YouTube, our newest YouTube channel. Make sure you go and check that one out. So the Lions, the Lions. Lions end up having a opening at the offensive coordinator position. And this is one where we start galaxy braiding. And pretty much any name associated with the Lions OC job, except for Arthur Smith.
Starting point is 00:16:46 That one didn't get us excited. There was like that brief Arthur Smith connected to that job. Arthur Smith, out of the NFL, at Ohio State. Be an interesting one to watch with that absolute loaded Buckeyes roster next year to see what Arthur Smith does with that one. but Arthur Smith, not there to do anything to us fantasy-wise next year. That's a whole other show. Detroit ends up getting associated with a bunch of names that would have had us,
Starting point is 00:17:12 like jumping for joy, leaping off the couch. Mike McDaniel was linked to this job. And you've so many important fantasy football pieces in Detroit. You have Jemir Gibbs. You have Sam Leporta coming back. Amon-Ross St. Brown, one of the best wide receivers in the league. Jamison Williams had some absolute smash weeks after a slow start last year. The offensive line is strong, and we expect Detroit to bounce back next year after missing the playoffs.
Starting point is 00:17:42 So you have basically the best opening of any offensive coordinator job, and we end up seeing a very weird hire. Drew Petzing gets hired, and this is the former offensive coordinator for the Arizona Cardinals. 38 years old. And the initial reaction from like fantasy Twitter, like everybody on X is, what are they thinking? What an awful hire? Brett Whitefield of fantasy points came out immediately and said he loved this one, love the concepts that Drew Petzing brings to the table here. And there's been a bunch of lions who have come out very excited about this hire.
Starting point is 00:18:25 So Detroit has their third offensive coordinator in three years. Petsing at his age offers some stability here. It's a very different hire than the John Morton hire where John Morton last year replaces Ben Johnson. It seemed like that was really a
Starting point is 00:18:43 Dan Campbell type guy. Drew Petsing comes over from Arizona. And again, sort of like Bejohn Robinson, like we're already on Jemir Gibbs as a threat to be the 101 in drafts. But if you look at the success that Drew Petsing has had with the run game, there's a lot to like about what we're going to see in Detroit this year.
Starting point is 00:19:06 There's going to be some wrinkles in this offense. But when you look at the success that James Connor had under Drew Petsing, Connor had back-to-back thousand-yard rushing seasons in 2022 and 2020, excuse me, 20203 and 2024. And the Cardinals ended up ranking second in the end up. second in the NFL in yards per carry in both of those seasons. Over five yards per carry in both of those seasons. And they finished fourth in rushing yards in the NFL in 2023.
Starting point is 00:19:42 Drew Petzing is going to use a lot of 12 personnel. A lot of, and he used some 13 personnel in Arizona to really push this run game. Wonder if we see that wrinkle as well in Arizona. But I expect Jemir Gibbs. to have yet another smash season. And there's a chance that we see Gibbs have even more success as a runner. And I think that the Drew Petsing higher coincides with even more Jemir Gibbs. This year we saw a shift of the tides where it was way more Jemir Gibbs and fewer David Montgomery opportunities.
Starting point is 00:20:20 As David Montgomery gets older and Jemir Gibbs continues to play in his prime, do we see even a little bit more of a shift to even more Gibbs-centric offense? But the Drew Petzing hire, it doesn't get the sort of like stamp of approval that some of these other hires have gotten when it comes to, you know, the big names that we were looking for. Obviously, Drew Petzing and the Arizona Cardinals left a lot to be desired at times. But when it comes to actually getting production out of the running game, this guy has a very. very strong sample size. So Jemir Gibbs potentially the league winner this year, the writing was already on the wall. A lot of offensive coordinators could have had success with Jemir Gibbs. It's not like Drew Petsing is going to make him a thing, but I think that there's a chance that he
Starting point is 00:21:11 makes him even better as a runner when you look at the success James Connor had in this system. And talent-wise, Jameer Gibbs, one of the absolute most talented players in football on the offensive side of the ball. Look for him to absolutely smash. Be interesting to see the production for the receivers there. Is there a chance that we see a little bit of a bounce back from Sam Leporta? I think that the use of 12, the use of 13, this could help him as well. I sort of get him out in space. Laporta has a chance here. And Leport is sort of that forgotten man. We know what Amon-Ross St. Brown is. Absolute monster. First round pick. next year. We know what Jameson Williams is, a guy who can have a spike week, a guy who has
Starting point is 00:22:00 been at an upward trajectory now for two straight seasons, and he has contract insulation. But Sam Leporta, you have all these guys that excelled as rookies this past year that are now going to get drafted ahead of Leporta. La Porta could fall into a range where he's a pretty fun click for you in fantasy football. We know Leporta can play. heading into year three this year, chance to bounce back. But this is all about Jemir Gibbs. Drew Petsing is going to have Jemir Gibbs absolutely rolling. Keeping it going.
Starting point is 00:22:33 Let's talk about another running back who has a couple of outs here. Joe Brady hire. So Joe Brady gets hired or essentially he gets promoted. A little bit of a circus here when it comes to the Buffalo Bills. Move off of Sean McDermott. It seemed like a little bit of a weird hire. but I wasn't crazy about the Joe Brady higher. I don't think it moves the needle.
Starting point is 00:22:58 Does Joe Brady get you to a Super Bowl? I don't know. But the higher that I liked was Joe Brady bringing over Pete Carmichael as the offensive coordinator. So Pete Carmichael, very interesting one. So Carmichael comes over from the Sean Payton coaching tree here, where Carmichael will bring a lot of the Sean Payton coaching tree. elements to this Buffalo offense. And, you know, a lot of people always gravitate towards what does this do for Josh Allen?
Starting point is 00:23:31 And I think for Josh Allen, you're going to see play action. You're going to see downfield shots. I think there's going to be new wide receiver personnel brought in. I mean, Buffalo pretty much has to. Buffalo pretty much has to bring in some wide receiver talent, especially after kind of what happened this year. You're going to hear big names. You're going to hear Mike Evans. You're going to hear A.J. Brown trade rumors.
Starting point is 00:23:53 Obviously, the first round of the NFL draft, maybe Buffalo gets themselves in a position to draft a Jordan Tyson, maybe a Mackay Lemon, Carnell Tate's going to be long gone, maybe a guy like a Denzel Boston, a KC Concepcion, names to remember for the NFL draft. But I think schematically, the Buffalo bill that I've got my eye on,
Starting point is 00:24:15 and I think that this is one that's a major takeaway, is James Cook. Now James Cook already has sort of an ADP reset. James Cook is steaming up in ADP relative to where James Cook was in 2024 and 2025. This is going to be the most expensive James Cook redraft shares ever. James Cook has earned it, though. James Cook was a ridiculous touchdown score for back-to-back seasons here. This past year took a massive step forward in terms of rushing yards.
Starting point is 00:24:47 But when it comes to James Cook, there's some unknown upside in the fact that he's been underutilized as a receiver out of the backfield. And when you think about one of the major consistent things in a Sean Payton offense, a Carmichael offense now, it's been targeting the running backs out of the backfield and using them as a receiver. So we've seen back-to-back seasons for James Cook, where he's averaged 16.7 fantasy points per game in 2024, 17.8 fantasy points per game in 2025. I'll call my shot right now. I think James Cook has a true opportunity for his first 20 point per game season. And when we start looking at difference makers in fantasy football, you like to circle that 20. point per game mark, the true league winners. James Cook is 26 years old. He has contract insulation. Like James Cook looks terrific with the ball in his hands out in space as a receiver. If you can get James Cook up to the 55 catch range in a Pete Carmichael offense, I think
Starting point is 00:26:05 there's an opportunity that he has his best fantasy season ever. It also gives you more outs a drafter of James Cook or if you're rostering him in Dynasty, 18 touchdowns in 2024, 14 touchdowns in 2025. He can have some touchdown regression and make up for it if we see the receiving numbers trend up. James Cook also can do it on fewer touches this coming year. You got to remember, James Cook had 309 rush attempts last year. That is unsustainable. In 2024, he had 207.
Starting point is 00:26:42 Let's call it in the middle. Get him into the 250 Russia temp range, but get the reception total up to the 5560 range. James Cook, a major name for us to keep an eye on heading into 2026. Let's take one more quick break. We come back. We're talking about Cleveland. What can the Todd Munkin offense look like and who benefits from it right after this? When McDonald's partnered with Franks Redheart, they said they could put that shit on everything.
Starting point is 00:27:12 So that's exactly what McDonald's did. They put it on your McChrispy. They put it in your hot Honey McNuggets dip. They even put it in the creamy garlic sauce on your McMuffin. The McDonald's Frank's Red Hot menu. They put that shit on everything. Breakfast available until 11 a.m. At participating Canadian restaurants for a limited time.

Starting point is 00:28:00 Welcome aboard via rail. Please sit and enjoy. Please sit and stretch. Steep. Flip. Or that. and enjoy via rail love the way all right welcome back so todd munkin hire this is another one where you get a lot of people like clowning on todd munkin and clowning on him for some of the wrong reasons
Starting point is 00:28:26 i've seen a bunch of these takes where it's todd munkin in his new offense all excited about being a head coach really sort of overcome with the emotion of the moment munkin's in his 60s so this is a guy who gets a head coaching job a little bit older. A lot of these guys hired this offseason as head coaches were younger guys. And that's certainly not Todd Munkin. Munkin had immense success in Baltimore right out the gate as the offensive coordinator took over for Greg Roman and the offense went nuts. This past year regressed as an offensive coordinator because obviously Lamar Jackson hurt.
Starting point is 00:29:06 Things didn't work out in Baltimore. But Munkin is getting clowned on on X. for like how the guy's dressed, like nonsense stuff. But Todd Munkin has always sort of maximized the talent available to him. And I think we'll see that in Cleveland. Dare I say it? Dare I even say it? People are not going to like this take because there's a lot of haters out there.
Starting point is 00:29:28 But I think Shadur Sanders is going to do fine with this guy. I think Shadur Sanders is going to get the opportunity to be the starter. Just my gut feel. Now Cleveland could make a move this offseason for a quarterback. They have flexibility. They could do that. But I think it's going to be Shadur Sanders in 2026, and I think he'll be okay. Not saying the guy's going to be like a QB1, but I think if you're a superflex manager,
Starting point is 00:29:50 I think he's a very interesting click. If you're doing early Superflex best ball or if you're a dynasty manager looking for quarterback utility, I think that there's a pretty strong possibility that Shadur Sanders will be the starting quarterback in Cleveland next year. And I think Todd Munkin is going to maximize him. Now, certainly Harold Fannin Jr., is a monster. Harold Vanne Jr. is going to be used pretty similarly to what we saw last year. But Jerry Judy is the cheapest wide receiver in the room right now. There's a chance that he could have a bounce back year. Look at what take away Judy's disgusting 2025 season. And look what he was
Starting point is 00:30:33 able to accomplish in 2024. Now, certainly some things were in his favor, but it wasn't just James Winston pushing those stats over the top. Multiple Cleveland quarterbacks had double-digit target games with Jerry Judy in 2024. A chance that he's a bounceback. And I'm not telling you to go and draft him super early, but he's a nice start throw late. So I think there's going to be a consolidation with those three. I think they're sort of locked in. It's the Sanders, Fannin, Judy. Those stacks are attainable in best ball so easily right now. And then certainly when healthy, Quinshawn Judkins has an opportunity to take a step forward. I think Cleveland's also going to be in play to draft a wide receiver early.
Starting point is 00:31:18 Cleveland has two first round picks. I think one of those two first round picks will be used on a wide receiver. Now, do they use one of those early ones, and it's a Carnell Tate type, or do they use their second first round pick and draft somebody in the wide receivers I mentioned, like the Casey Concepcion, the Denzel box? tier of wide receivers that we anticipate will be first round selections, but probably not top 15 picks. That's sort of where I'm at. I think Cleveland will end up maximizing who they have there. I think Todd Munkin is a good offensive mind. I think Cleveland knew what they were doing with this
Starting point is 00:31:57 higher. They stressed offense here and they got it with Todd Munkin. Todd Munkin, if he was in his 40s and not in his 60s, I think people would have talked themselves into this hire a lot more. Just sort of my gut feel, a little more bullish than the general public on this Todd Monkin hire. Keeping it going, obviously there's a couple of low-hanging fruit, like incredible winners here. Las Vegas with Clint Kubiak. What an opportunity for Ashton Genti and Brock Bowers. Two players who are two of the more exciting younger talents in the NFL. Ashton Genty heading into year two.
Starting point is 00:32:37 Brock Bowers heading into year three. Obviously both these players were incredibly highly drafted. I'm not teaching you about Brock Bowers and I'm not teaching you about Ashton Jenty. You sort of know who they are. Genty, things went really poorly last year. The offensive line play in Vegas, the quarterback play, so many things went wrong. I think if you look at what Jenty was able to accomplish last year, despite those circumstances, scoring how he did last year is going to end up being a win.
Starting point is 00:33:06 and what Ashton Genty showed you he can do at the NFL level, pushing any sort of concerns aside from the lack of receiving production that he had his final year at Boise State, he caught the ball very well and very effectively, drawing targets in that offense. And that's important because the Clint Kubiak offense is going to feature high value touches for the running back position. Last year, if we look at what Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet
Starting point is 00:33:34 we're able to do and accomplish collectively, like together as a tandem, we can sort of push those sort of numbers on to Ashton Genti. And you're talking about instead of 2.10 point per game, and I know there's not a perfect science. But instead of two 10 point per game scorers, maybe we end up with like a 17 point per game score in Ashton Genty. I think that's very much in the wheelhouse. I think he is going to be a major value inside a round two.
Starting point is 00:34:01 But it's Brock Bowers for me. It's Brock Bowers. Brock Bowers to the moon. Anybody who's consumed my content here at fantasy points or previous sites I worked for, I'm a Bowers guy. I'm all about Brock Bowers, and I think that this is it. You're going to see extensive use of the fullback, just like you saw in New Orleans, just like you saw in Seattle,
Starting point is 00:34:22 an extra blocker who is not a receiver, and you're going to see Brock Bowers having opportunities for smash games as the number one target in this offense. Will Vegas bring in a wide receiver, one, yes, but it's going to be an opportunistic wide receiver one, not a true alpha wide receiver one. I could be wrong on that. Maybe they really emphasize getting a true wide receiver one to compliment Bowers. But I think more likely than not, Brock Bowers is the leading target earner in Vegas by a good margin, talking about 150, 140 type target season. What we saw for Tray McBride
Starting point is 00:34:58 last year in terms of the target volume to Brock Bowers, Brock Bowers could end up. up being a league winner at the tight end position. So both those guys, people are going to say, Theo, what about the offensive line? Vegas has so much cap room right now. They have a plan here with this Clint Kubiak hire. I don't think Clint Kubiak takes this job unless there was a real plan. Vegas has the money to go and get multiple free agent offensive linemen. Look at what Dave Canales did when he got the Carolina job. Carolina went out and signed a bunch of offensive linemen sort of solidified things there. Look at what happened when Ben Johnson signed with Chicago. Chicago ends up getting a bunch of offensive linemen sort of solidified things there.
Starting point is 00:35:45 That's going to be similar to what we see this year with Kubiak in Vegas. It's a copycat league. You can turn things around there. You look at also the success that Ben Johnson had in turning Seattle's offensive line situation around in a year. Seattle gave up so many sacks in year one of Mike McDonald era when you had DeBore as the offensive coordinator. DeBore, of course, goes back to Alabama. Kubiak takes over, and Kubiak turned that offensive line, helped turn that offensive line. Certainly when you draft guys like Gray Zabel, the offensive line's going to turn around as well. But you have to say that the scheme helped a ton this year.
Starting point is 00:36:26 Seattle gave up some of the fewest sack totals in the NFL. So really it's Ashton Genti, Brock Bowers, to the moon. And if Fernando Mendoza goes one overall, as we expect, Kubiak has an opportunity to fast track his career. Really, really a fun coaching hire. The L.A. Chargers, though, this is the one where Mike McDaniel ends up in L.A. And this is about as good as it gets. I should have maybe let off the show with Mike McDaniel to L.A.
Starting point is 00:36:58 Mike McDaniel has an opportunity to push the LA Chargers up to the highest levels of production in the league in terms of points per game. I truly believe that. The offensive line is going to be healthier. There's some major talent that was off the field. You know that. You've heard that all season long. But when you look at the personnel in L.A., Justin Herbert, the most talented quarterback that Mike McDaniels had to work with in the NFL. Herbert, a true difference maker at the position.
Starting point is 00:37:31 And Herbert's hungry. Too many playoff losses for this guy. Has an opportunity with a new scheme to take it to another level. Then you look at Omari in Hampton with Kamani Vidal backing him up. The run game in L.A., very, very strong. Mike McDaniels had multiple running backs, not only Devon A. Chan, but also Rahim Mostert, absolutely feast and put up huge numbers for fantasy football. Omarian Hampton has a chance to be the best year-two breakout of any player in the NFL this year in this McDaniel system.
Starting point is 00:38:04 Look at a Ronde Gadsden. Gadsden has a chance to take a big step forward as a move tight end next year. Figure the team is probably not going to bring back Keenan Allen. It's a lot of vacated targets. I know vacated targets. People don't like me using that stat. Some of you out there, but there will be a number of vacated targets from Keenan Allen. a chance for a real bounceback year from Ladd McConkey.
Starting point is 00:38:28 Ladd McConkey, I don't think is a real alpha, wide receiver one. I think we saw that this year, a lot of regression. But I think that he is certainly not the player that we saw in the last seven, eight games of this past year and the Dudd playoff game. I think McConkey's better than that. I think you see a bounceback season. Do his numbers look like his rookie year of 15 point per game season? Probably not 15 points per game, but I think McConkey gets back into that 13 and a half, 14 point per game season.
Starting point is 00:38:58 Obviously a chance and I'm wrong on that and he does get back to rookie year numbers. McConkey's not a player that we should have ever pushed up to where we did last year. It's sort of a lesson learned. But McConkey is a very good NFL wide receiver, has a chance to bounce back under McDaniel. Then Quentin Johnston. Quentin Johnson, a very effective touchdown score. Can he excel in this scheme? Basically, I'm on all the chargers right now.
Starting point is 00:39:23 Chargers to the moon with Mike McDaniel, and I love the hire here. Harbaugh goes out of his realm, dips into a non-Harbaugh tree coordinator, goes from Greg Roman, who had so much time with his brother in Baltimore, to outside of the box thinking, brings in this very high-level thinker.
Starting point is 00:39:46 Mike McDaniel's done a lot in Miami, always produces fantasy football scores at a high level. He always does. Tyree Kill, multiple smash seasons, Jalen Waddle, multiple smash seasons, Devon A. Chan, multiple smash seasons, where he Mostert led the NFL in touchdown scoring in a season under McDaniel.
Starting point is 00:40:07 And then we had the Jonu Smith season, where John who Smith was the best value at the tight end position under Mike McDaniel. So you can paint yourself a picture and a narrative on multiple LA Chargers coming out and having big, big seasons this year in L.A. And pivoting over to the Miami Dolphins. So the NFL has a way and social media and people who do what I do certainly have a way of making people into geniuses and making people into morons. It's just sort of what happens in the way that we react very quickly to sometimes, as sometimes,
Starting point is 00:40:47 small sample size. Sometimes we don't value in the circumstances surrounding these guys. But when you think back to Bobby Sloick, think about Bobby Sloick his first year in Houston, the guy was being fast track to be a head coach. It was C.J. Stroud mania. C.J. Stroud wins offensive rookie of the year. C.J. Stroud was a huge waiver wire pickup or late round pickup. If you drafted him, He was a tremendous ADP fine. If you picked him up off of waivers, he was one of the best waiver wire pickups of the year. And Bobby Sloick was being fast-tracked. Then year two, Bobby Sloick in Houston, disaster.
Starting point is 00:41:31 Everything's sort of regressed, gets fired. Matriculates in Miami last year with Mike McDaniel, and Sloick ends up getting retained by this new coaching staff in Green Bay, which is very, very interesting. because when we saw the Jeff Hathley hire in Miami, like Jeff Hathley gets hired and there's all these Green Bay connections. There's obviously the connections to the McVeigh and Shanahan coaching tree. So a lot of people anticipated that you would get a coach coming from sort of outside of the system.
Starting point is 00:42:11 You end up with Bobby Sloick, who was with Miami. me last year. So obviously he's got some connections to the system as well, but it's still a retained coach that they elevated. So does Bobby Sloick at 38 years old have an opportunity to turn things around? And I'll just throw this one out there. The NFL, it cycles like this. Joe Brady at one point was the smartest man in the room at LSU, gets hired at the NFL, gets fired at the NFL, and now Joe Brady is back to being a head coach, like a big rotation. Bobby Sloick, 38 years old, his story has not fully been told, but I think that the Bobby Sloic hire should do one thing for you.
Starting point is 00:42:55 Do not overthink Devon A. Chan. Devon A. Chan is an absolute stud. And I think that the Bobby Sloic being retained from the previous coaching staff, the offensive ecosystem in Miami, no matter who's behind center, it's going to be getting the ball in Devon A. Chan's hands. He's the most talented player they have on offense. He's one of the more talented running backs in the league. He took big steps forward last year, had over 1,300 rushing yards, had his first 20 point per game season. Oh, and he's one of the best backs in the NFL at catching the football out of the backfield and doing something with it. Very versatile, can get moved around,
Starting point is 00:43:36 but you're going to see an offense where Devon A. Chan is featured. You're absolutely taking Devon A-chan as a first-round pick in 2026 with Bobby Sloick taking over there. Now, a couple more notes, the Arizona Cardinals, Arizona Cardinals end up making a hire here. And like this was one that kind of stretched out. And there was all sorts of like doom and gloom scenarios with their head coach. But they end up making sort of an inspired hire. they hire Mike LaFleur, the offensive coordinator from the L.A. Rams. So you get the Sean McVeigh coaching tree coming over.
Starting point is 00:44:17 And I think what's very interesting is when you look at the personnel in Arizona, obviously who's behind center is going to be a big storyline. Do we see another Jacoby Brissette season? Do we see them sort of make up with Kyler Murray? Do they cut Kyler Murray? Do they make a move to get a quarterback from outside of the system? That's a big question mark. But when it comes down to it, Arizona has Michael Wilson and Marvin Harrison Jr.
Starting point is 00:44:43 You've got two wide receivers there. You look at the success L.A. had last year with Puka Nakua and Devante Adams, where Nakuwa was just unbelievable, a league winner at the wide receiver position, all everything player, and Devante Adams had 14 touchdown grabs. There's an opportunity that you see the wide receiver position in Arizona trending up, next year. They have the horses there. Michael Wilson first 1,000 yard receiver in Arizona since DeAndre Hopkins in like 2020. And he did so in a very small sample size of being heavily utilized. So Michael Wilson had his year three breakout season. Can Marvin Harrison be the year
Starting point is 00:45:27 three breakout wide receiver? And I know you're going to say Theo, we've already seen Marvin Harrison have a bunch of smash weeks, but can Marvin Harrison Jr. put things together in this McVeigh system and have a really strong year next year, it's sort of the post-type sleeper time for Marvin Harrison Jr. where last year, every single person would say this is the year two wide receiver breakout. Obviously a disappointing year and a disappointing finish for Marvin Harrison Jr. But with some really strong games, that's the thing with Marvin Harrison Jr. His rookie year and year two, you'd see a bunch of smash weeks mixed in with a bunch of inconsistent low scoring weeks. If you can just get consistency out of him, I think there's a chance he takes
Starting point is 00:46:11 a step up. And I think Michael Wilson, people don't want to believe it from last year, but Michael Wilson is good at football. You got two wide receivers there. Then you combine things with Trey McBride. Very, very interesting. And one of the positions that we want to circle in ink this offseason to keep an eye on is the Arizona starting running back position. Is it a an opportunity for a Trey Benson to finally get on the field and finally produce? Not so sure. Arizona could address this position in a multitude of ways. It's a very deep free agent back, a free agent running back class.
Starting point is 00:46:52 And also, Arizona could draft a rookie and put them in a position to have early success in the NFL. There's a lot of people beating up the 2026 running back class. And it's certainly not 2025. but there will be a few interesting players that could, depending on landing spot and draft capital, see their names sort of rise up. Keep an eye on guys like Jedarian Price out of Notre Dame. Keep an eye on Jonah Coleman of Washington, a few others. K. Tron Allen of Penn State, I personally like.
Starting point is 00:47:22 Mike Washington, Arkansas, I personally like. Keep an eye on a couple of these rookies. And Fantasy Football Daily, we're going to be covering the rookie class next episode. Bird's Eye View of the rookie class. Make sure you tune into that one with Brett Whitefield. But keep an eye on the wide receivers in Arizona. Do I think that the wide receiver usage in Arizona is going to make Tray McBride somehow a huge regression candidate? Certainly not.
Starting point is 00:47:47 But I do think that there's a chance that it's slightly, slightly more balanced next year in Arizona. McBride is an interesting one. Does McBride have room to run with his profile? He last year had one of the best. tight end seasons we've ever seen in fantasy. He has a huge contract. I think LaFleur will have a plan to effectively utilize him, but I also think taking shots on both Arizona wide receivers right now in early best
Starting point is 00:48:17 ball and in dynasty trades, it's worth kicking the tires on. We have sort of an, it's an inspired hire for Arizona to go and get offensive. And we saw LaFleur talking about the current status of the roster. Seems like he's very intrigued by this job. Arizona's got to get some things together. Arizona certainly needs to have a stronger pass rush, and they need to protect the quarterback better. So they've got to get past rushers in there.
Starting point is 00:48:47 They've also got to get that offensive line stabilized, but keep an eye on this offense and the skill position weapons. And then we'll talk about the Tampa Bay Bucks. The Tampa Bay Bucks final team I'm going to talk about, I'm very interested in a mecca egg boot. and how he's going to do in this Zach Robinson offense. So go back in time. Zach Robinson was one of the red-hot offensive coordinator names.
Starting point is 00:49:15 Again, coming from the Sean McVeigh coaching tree, ends up in Atlanta under Rahim Morris, had his opportunities to go to a multiple, like there was probably four or five teams that would have hired Zach Robinson that offseason. Ends up in Atlanta. Atlanta obviously fires more. and Robinson falls upwards, lands in a better offensive coordinator spot potentially than he would have had this year in Atlanta with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Starting point is 00:49:44 Tampa Bay has been like the cradle of coaches, the offensive coordinator position here. We saw Dave Canales become a head coach here. We saw Liam Cohen become a head coach here. And then we saw Josh Grizzard as sort of the fall guy, the fired guy fired last year. So two head coaches, one guy fired. Zach Robinson has a chance based on being in this McVeigh coaching tree, based on sort of the market for him, has a chance that if he does really well with Tampa Bay this year,
Starting point is 00:50:17 he's going to be on some head coaching watch list next year. I know there's a lot of frustrated Atlanta Falcons fans out there. They're going to say Theo, like, slow your role. Zach Robinson made a bunch of mistakes. But this Tampa Bay offense is primed. for success. Now Robinson is going to bring with him some pistol formation. There's going to be some interesting wrinkles and whatnot. But really when you hear the press conference, him talking about Ameca Egbuka, and then we look at the success that Drake London had there, Baker Mayfield,
Starting point is 00:50:48 obviously in a good spot to sort of bounce back from last year in this offense. The weapons in Tampa Bay, very strong ones, Jalen McMillan will be healthy, Egbuka heading into year two, Tess Johnson heading into year two. And of course, Chris Godwin will be healthy. Got those guys. Mike Evans, the one we're circling an ink, impending free agent. Bucky Irving injured for a lot of last year, chance to bounce back. Rashad White heading into free agency.
Starting point is 00:51:18 Does Tampa Bay elevate the tight end position, bring in somebody a little bit better than Kate Otten? That's one to keep an eye on as well. But the player that I have circled here is Egbuka. and Egbuka, it was like the tale of two cities. If we had done a show predicting 2026 ADP in the middle of last year, Egbuka would have been a guy that we said, this guy's going to be an early second round pick. Then the season kept going,
Starting point is 00:51:47 and now Egbuka has slid to a similar ADP to what he had at the end of last summer when he was moving up like a skyrocketing up ADP. So Egbuka heading into year two, an opportunity to exceed expectations with Robinson. Robinson's has already come out with some very, very strong quotes when it comes to Egbuka. And I'll just read this one off so I don't get this one wrong and misquote this one. But you have, okay, here we go. This is Zach Robinson on Egbuka. He is an unbelievable player.
Starting point is 00:52:25 Just the versatility that he brings within the route tree run after. catch. There is really nothing that he cannot do. Obviously, you guys all saw it up close and all throughout the year. I was able to study him when he was at Ohio State and I went to their pro day watching him catch the football. He has an incredible ball skills and all of those things that you love. So any player making that jump from year one to year two to year three, you expect to see great strides. So listen, don't take my word for it. Zach Robinson is now an a Mecca-Egbuka hype man. You should probably be hyping him too. There's a chance that if Mike Evans signs elsewhere, he gets fast-tracked, really fast-tracked,
Starting point is 00:53:08 where Baker-Mayfield loves Egbuka, talks glowingly about him, but Baker-Mayfield also has this way to gravitate towards Mike Evans multiple seasons. If Evans moves on, Egbuka takes over, unquestioned wide receiver one next year in Tampa Bay, a chance for a little bit of a getting back to what we saw at the beginning of last year with Zach Robinson. Robinson, a major opportunity in Tampa Bay. We could cover so much more. We're going to cover it over the next few weeks.
