Starting point is 00:00:00 Week 10, fantasy football, waiver wire additions, and deep sleepers you need to add to your roster right now. Theo Greminger, Joe Dolan, and Tom Broly every single week, fantasy football daily on the Fantasy Points Podcast Network and Fantasy Points YouTube. Let's start out at the top. I mean, I don't want to be like, and I told you so guy, but we've been telling people to add Tori Horton for like five weeks. We've referred to him as one of the highest contingent upside wide receivers available in fantasy. If you could support it on your roster, stick them in the back end of it. There's potentially to take on a larger roll post by and also the breakdown of Cooper Cup. Guys, we saw it.
Starting point is 00:00:53 Cooper Cup missed week nine and Torrey Horton only four targets, but it's been a trend all season. The guy scores touchdowns. The guy looks explosive. of Joe, your thoughts on Tori Horton moving forward. I saw you on X saying, yeah, how about we just give him the job, forget about this old guy, Cooper Cup? It could play Cooper Cup in a situational role, right? I mean, I'm sure there's still a role where the veteran can do some good things for
Starting point is 00:01:17 this passing offense, but we wanted to see Tori Horton with an expanded role, and here's what he did. He puts up, what, 20 fantasy points for you? So, I mean, there are certainly people who picked up and started Tori Horton. I'm one of them. Unfortunately, in one of my leagues, I'd just. dropped Pop Douglas to do it, but I came out and still had a good performance with Torrey Horton. Now, and you're 100% right. It was a, we want to get ahead up to say, this show is about
Starting point is 00:01:45 what if happens on the waiver wire. There's anybody can sit there and say, oh, well, this running back got hurt, go pick up his backup. Everybody knows that. That's why we save our big time fab dollars. And that's a proper way to play the waiver wire as well. But if you get to this point of the season, when nobody has fab budget or you might not have fat budget because you proactively play the waiver wire, you want to get ahead and say, all right, this one guy in this really good offense, Seattle's offense I think is better than any of us anticipated it being, at least in the passing game, certainly not the run game. Cooper Cup is always hurt. That's why the Rams let him go. This young guy behind him has scored three touchdowns in an ancillary role. Well, what happens if Cooper Cup does get hurt?
Starting point is 00:02:27 Well, he got hurt in practice. So even if you hadn't picked up Tori Horton at that point, that should have set off the alarm bells if you've been listening to this show to go say, all right, these guys have been saying, this is a large contingent upside player, and then it all came to pass on Sunday night football. I don't know how Seattle, which seems to me to have a really adaptable, a modern coaching staff with modern game plans and a modern idea and a universal idea for what they want to do as a team, I don't know how they can just put this toothpaste back in the tube. I think Tori Horton is a phenomenal pickup and probably should be somebody who's rostered in almost every league.
Starting point is 00:03:05 Yeah, and I think that this is one, I'm in complete agreement with you. We also had Clint Kubiak a few weeks back making the Justin Jefferson comparison, which was like really eye-opening for many, but Horton was a mega producer at Colorado State, had one season where he was just tremendous. Tom, if this is in fact the Tori Horton takeover for Cooper Cup, and we see this offense sort of adjust here. Is this a wide receiver three moving forward with the potential for big time spike weeks for us?
Starting point is 00:03:37 I think so. He has the potential to put up some massive weeks as we've already seen five touchdowns on just 22 targets. The guy is a big play machine. He has a punt return touchdown as well. So six touchdowns on very limited opportunities. This offense is operating at a very efficient clip.
Starting point is 00:03:55 I mean, Sam Darnold looks great in this offense. has not been slowed down, especially through the air. And Jackson Smith and Jigba, I think people are starting to catch on to him a little bit around the league. He's certainly going to draw more attention in the back half of the season. So Tori Horton's going to get more one-on-one opportunities. So just the big question is, will they move forward with Tori Horton after we see what he's capable of on Sunday night football? Or do they put Cooper Cup back into the lineup, put him back ahead, give him the veteran deference here? let him play ahead. I don't think so. I think we're going to see. This is a team that has Super Bowl
Starting point is 00:04:35 aspirations, and Cooper Cup is not a number two wide receiver on a Super Bowl team right now. He needs to be more of a reserve player. Tori Horton is the kind of dynamic player that needs to be on the field more. So we'll see what happens this week with Cooper Cup and this hamstring injury, but he's a guy that should be playing full time. And he's the type of player. I'll be viewing him as a wide receiver three right now, but he's got the potential to have some absolutely monster games down the stretch. And he could be on some league winning type teams here. So if you were smart enough to pick him up over the last couple of a weeks like we were telling you to, great on you. But he's still widely available out there. 95% of Yahoo League. So this is the type of
Starting point is 00:05:21 player with huge upside that needs to be picked up, added everywhere. And let's see where this goes. So Maybe Cup rejoins the lineup and he plays a little bit of a backup role. But I still think he is worth picking up here to see what happens over the next couple of weeks. Yeah. And you bring up the Yahoo League's 95% there. This is not a not in my league bro guy. I think that there was a number of sharp fantasy managers who in secondary Waverwire runs in like FFPC leagues went and added him before Sunday's games. But I'm looking at the availability in my leagues right now.
Starting point is 00:05:55 I'm seeing multiple main events. I'm seeing multiple 350s where he's available. So he's going to be kind of this time of year in some of these higher stakes deeper formats. This might be one of the last big opportunities to add a potential impact player. So be interested to see what those fab bids look like. Another player who is very interesting,
Starting point is 00:06:15 and we talk about the contingent upside, this is, we've already seen it now with Parker Washington. Parker Washington, nine targets, caught eight of them for 90 yards. against Vegas. When week seven, he had 10 targets, caught four of them for 52 yards. This is sort of a not as nearly as exciting a player as Tori Horton, but there's a chance that he outscores Tori Horton the next three weeks. And I think he's going to be a little bit more under the radar, despite the wide
Starting point is 00:06:45 receiver injuries. You have Travis Hunter, who's on the injured reserve. Life comes at you very fast, guys. Travis Hunter gets injured, a non-contact practice injury. His season could be over. Now you've got Diami Brown, who suffered a concussion, and BTJ also is now banged up. So there's an opportunity where Parker Washington could be like a 12 target guy. Jacksonville has used three wide receiver sets often.
Starting point is 00:07:12 They're in the top 10 in the league right now. Parker Washington doing a lot of damage out of the slot. And we've seen this in Liam Cohen offenses, these sort of guys to get these manufactured looks. Tom, your enthusiasm level for Parker Washington. and his potential over the next few weeks. Yeah, he's right behind Horton for me. Horton's still the priority pickup. But Washington, as you said,
Starting point is 00:07:33 he could be the more productive player over the next three weeks if Horton does move back into a little bit of a reserve role. Washington, it looks like he's going to be a prominent receiver here for Trevor Lawrence. And we've seen any time that he's on the field, Lawrence has an eye for him.
Starting point is 00:07:50 He's definitely looking to target him. There's definitely more chemistry there than he's shown with, Brian Thomas over the course of this season. So I think Parker Washington with Travis Hunter, we have no, we haven't gotten a whole lot of specifics other than it's not an ACL tear. But it doesn't sound very promising. He's going to miss at least the next three games.
Starting point is 00:08:12 We'll see if he's able to return at some point in December. But this is going to be Parker Washington's job. And as you said, Diami Brown, concussion. We'll see he's going to be probably out this week, maybe maybe longer than that. Brian Thomas, we got an ankle injury on top of whatever he's, you know, we've heard about wrist maybe earlier in the season. He had a weird shoulder injury right before they're by. So he has a number of different ailments. Brenton Strange, I haven't heard a whole lot about him since he went on the IR. We don't know when he's going to be back. So this is an offense that has been
Starting point is 00:08:48 struggling to run the ball a little bit recently with ETN. So this, this offense could, it's weird to say, but it could kind of run through Parker Washington if Brian Thomas is not completely right. So he's a pick up and play as a wide receiver three for PPRs right now. Joe, you're Tori Horton over Parker Washington or is this roster dependent? Sort of if I needed a guy this week, do I lean towards Washington or do you just go with the upside? So here's how I look at this. I am driving down the road and I am starving and I need lunch. and there is a McDonald's right on the road. And I'm like, all right, you know, it's not the best food,
Starting point is 00:09:30 but damn, a Big Mac at the right time will absolutely hit the spot. And then I'm going to be good to finish my drive. Or is this, hey, we're two hours from our destination. Hey, hon, call up and make a reservation at that fancy restaurant we won. There's no guarantee we're going to get in. But let's just go for the ride. Parker Washington's the Big Mac. He's the fast food hamburger.
Starting point is 00:09:52 He is the right now, get satisfied. understand that it's not the best thing you've ever eaten, but Dan does it hit the spot from time to time? And he is the five catch for 50 yard guy. And occasionally, the fries come out really hot and perfectly seasoned. And you're like, man, I'm glad I did that. I think Tori Horton is more of the steakhouse type of guy, right? He is the, it's, it's fancier.
Starting point is 00:10:15 It's not for every day. You can't afford it every day. And you don't even know if you're going to be able to get into the restaurant on short notice. but if you do, it's going to be one of the better meals of your life. So I am thinking, I've got like a six and three team or a five and four team. And I am really starting to get healthy. Are my team starting to hit the stride? I'm Tori Horton.
Starting point is 00:10:39 If I'm three and six, four and five, or I have a five and four, six and three team that has suffered an injury. And I'm like, oh, man, I need those calories. I'm a Parker Washington guy. And I think it really is roster dependent. I love the food analogy. Big shout out to you, Joe. That was, that was well thought out. This is not a sponsored program.
Starting point is 00:10:58 Yeah, I'm feeling pretty hungry after listening to that. If McDonald's wants to sponsor this show, have at it. Let us know. We'll give you a good deal here, guys. Let's talk about Alec Pierce, another player we've been telling everybody to add. An interesting, when you look at Alec Pierce, this is a player that we've often thought of as sort of a big boom bus guy. But now he's played seven games.
Starting point is 00:11:22 and he has more double-digit PPR weeks than single-digit PPR weeks. It's been a little bit more consistency from Alec Pierce. We also have guys, everything has been sort of perfect for Indianapolis all season long. They've been in such control of games. Yesterday, we saw them trailing 27 to 10 with a little less than seven minutes to go. And we saw what they looked like sort of in comeback mode. They still had nearly 400 yards of total offense, even a game where Daniel Jones and John and Taylor really struggled. But we saw Alec Pierce guys, season high 13 targets,
Starting point is 00:11:58 catches six of them for 115 yards. Your thoughts on Pierce, Tom. Feels like we talk about him every week. Maybe after this week, he's going to be too rostered for us to talk about. Yeah, he should be picked up. I mean, this is a guy that's playing a lot in a very good offense. And now those opportunities are starting to rise, as you said, 10 targets a couple of weeks ago as well. So this is, he's, and he's run so poor with his luck right now. Still no touchdowns, even though he's creating these big plays for this offense, pretty much weakly at this point. So I think that's going to turn around at some point.
Starting point is 00:12:37 He's probably going to get two or three touchdowns over the last couple of games. And maybe then he'll be picked up and rostered a little bit more. But he's clearly a big part of this passing attack. And we saw it right out of the gates. against the Steelers. They went after, you know, they were throwing to Alec Pierce very aggressively, 64 yards, like right, right away. He cleared his receiving yards prop, just a few plays into the game.
Starting point is 00:13:04 So this is a player that they know they can attack some weaknesses with in secondaries, especially down the field. It's just a matter of time before he starts hitting on some touchdowns in the second half of the season here. But he's looking great. He's been able to stay relatively healthy here. the last four games. We've had some concussion concerns with him earlier this season and earlier in his career.
Starting point is 00:13:29 But he's staying on the field and really giving this offense a downfield threat. So he should be picked up and those touchdowns are coming very soon. Joe, he's going to get a fortune this off season. Alex Pierce heading into free agency. I think he's going to get a lot of money still is relatively young. And when you look at Indianapolis's schedule down the stretch, Atlanta this week, then they go on their buy. Atlanta, this is a Germany game.
Starting point is 00:13:53 But you've got Kansas City away in week 12, Jacksonville away in week 14, and Seattle away in week 15. It seems like using Alec Pierce in some of these matchups, where the Colts are going to have some pressure on them on the road. That might be beneficial to us when we're chasing upside. Yeah, and this is a guy who, as Brett Whitefield was pointing out,
Starting point is 00:14:14 while his A dot, I think before this weekend, I haven't checked it since, before this weekend was still like 20 yards down the field. field, which is ridiculous. This is not just a guy who's running nine routes. He is routing people up, Tom. You saw that against your Steelers. I actually, I looked at the numbers for prop bets and I preferred Michael Pittman and Josh Downs. Now, fortunately, all of those guys got home, including Alex Pierce, who Ryan Heath liked a whole lot this week. He's a different player, Theo. He is working as he has added elements to his game that he did not have in the past. This is a better football player
Starting point is 00:14:51 than he has been and he's playing in an offense that is better now. Look, Daniel Jones did not have a good game, okay? The Steelers defense finally woke up for the first time this year. I'm not going to freak out about it, okay? But Alec Pierce, in the fact that Daniel Jones had a bad game and still had big numbers, I think that's even more encouraging for him. Yeah, there was six quarterback hits, five sacks. It's the first time we've seen Indianapolis's line sort of exposed like this.
Starting point is 00:15:17 So big shout out to the Steelers in that one. Joe, I'll stay with you here. If Kishon Booty misses time, do we consider using DeMario Douglas? Douglas had his best game of the season, four catches for 100 yards and a touchdown, six targets. It's been sort of a forgetful year for DeMario Douglas. I know there's some best ball enthusiasm for him this past off season. You're going to leave him on the wire or are you potentially picking him up?
Starting point is 00:15:44 I think he's a pickup for sure. Now, a couple of updates here. And this is going to muddy this picture because we've seen DiMario Douglas literally put up goose eggs this year. According to Mike Vrable, Kishon Booty is only day to day, so he could play this coming weekend. And he also said the rookie Kyle Williams is going to see an increased role. I mean, I don't view Kyle Williams as somebody who has the contingent upside that a Tori Horton had. But maybe for those of you who are everybody we talk about is picked up in your league, Kyle Williams is somebody you could consider adding to your roster.
Starting point is 00:16:17 Yeah, Tom and I talked about that in the pre-show. Is Kyle Williams going to be a player that they utilize with a week to prepare? Third round pedigree, they seem to really like him, or is he going to be a cardio guy? Not so sure. Quick reminder to check for Tess Johnson because his team was on a buy week. Tess is a no-brainer ad as well. Andre Yoshevis, Tom, let's kick it to you for this one. Andre Yoshevus, T.
Starting point is 00:16:42 Higgins was spectacular, but T. Higgins did take a knock at the end of the game. doesn't look like anything too serious. But if it does turn out to be something troubling, is Andre Yoshibus, a player you want to pick up with Cincinnati on a buy week, had played very well. And Joe Flacco on fire, 470 passing yards. Flacco has now the fourth most passing yards in a game
Starting point is 00:17:05 by a Cincinnati Bengal all time, just wild times. Yeah, that's more of the reason why I'd want to pick him up is just because Joe Flacco is throwing it and throwing it a lot. He's playing well. So if anything happens to these, you know, Jamar Chase or T. Higgins down the stretch, I would think that Andre Yoshavas is going to have a pretty big role in this passing game whenever, if those guys miss. The good news for T. Higgins is that he does get this week off.
Starting point is 00:17:32 They're on by. So he probably, I would think that he plays in week 11 against the Steelers. But he's, Yoshavos is at least one of these guys that maybe he goes to the high end stash type of players here. if they're going to be throwing it 40 plus times a week with Joe Flacco. You know, we've seen them heavily target Jamar Chase in a couple of games. But I think it is going to be a little bit more spread out. And Yoshavos showed yesterday a couple big plays there, scored a touchdown up over 60 yards in that game.
Starting point is 00:18:04 He would be kind of a handcuffed for these wide receivers. So just getting pieces that are attached to this Bengals offense right now with Joe Flacco, I think is a smart idea. Yeah, and I think you nailed it. I think treat, if you have T. Higgins, pick up Andre Yoshavis just for, you can hold them for a few days here. Just make sure that everything's looking good with the injury. And if you have Jamar Chase and you're looking to buy into this entire pass attack, you might get one week here potentially if there's anything with Higgins. Joe, you get the fun question and you'll wrap up wide receivers with this one. Tom and I talked about about him a little bit this morning. Olamedi Zakeas now had 17.8 points this past week. Look,
Starting point is 00:18:45 Olamedi Zakeas with back-to-back weeks guys, scored, had seven catches against Baltimore and on seven targets, then six catches against the Bengals and a touchdown on eight targets. Joe, according to my math, that's 15 targets over the last two weeks. Could we acquiesce that if you're in a deep, deep format that start three wide receiver with the flex, Olamidi Zakeas should be rostered. Okay, so this is, let me build on an analogy that I had earlier. Let's say you drive past the McDonald's, and you're really hungry right now,
Starting point is 00:19:17 but you get there and the drive-through line is too long, and there's a Burger King next door, and that one has the short drive-through line. And you're like, all right, I prefer McDonald's, but I'm really hungry. I'm going to go to Burger King. If you miss out on Parker Washington on your initial waiver run, pick up a Lamede Zakias.
Starting point is 00:19:32 That'll be your contingency player for Parker Washington. Romo Dundze, you mentioned under five points in like three of his last four games, by the way, 49 points total in that, Bears Benghys Dean and Roman Dense has a zero. So, uh, yeah, maybe, uh, Caleb Williams trusting Alameda Zakias a little bit more. Yeah. And I, I, you know, we will not be getting sponsored by Burger King after that analogy. I mean, Joe, you could have, I'm sorry, I had to pull one out, uh, I didn't know. You could have said, you could have said, like some random gas station. You could have like, but, you know, shout out to the I'm from Pennsylvania, man. Gas station food wars are very, very important to our culture.
Starting point is 00:20:09 Shout out to the people at Wawa. We would love you to sponsor fantasy points. I take a sheet's money. Oh, sheets money. We'll take it all. Listen, let's take a quick break, fellas. And when we come back, we're talking about running backs.
Starting point is 00:20:21 All right, welcome back. Fantasy Football Daily WaiverWire, Theo Greminger with Joe Dolan and Tom Broly. If you want a more expanded waiver wire columns, check out FantasyPoint.com. You're going to get access to Tom's waiver wire column. You're going to get access to my waiver wire column.
Starting point is 00:20:37 All of our packages are discounted right now, and you can get an additional 15% off using the code Theo. The code Theo gets you an additional 15% off any package. Guys, they make great Christmas presents, great Hanukkah presents, and you get the added bonus. If you're a gambler and you want to win some money, our guy Tom is on a 12 and one heater right now with his prop bets. Tom, you can keep that thing going rest of the season? I hope so. We've had a couple of very strong weeks here. I know Joe had a great week as well. Our guy, Justin Barnes. If you're looking for very soft markets to bet into. Justin Barnes kills it with the defensive props. So he's been making money hand over fist
Starting point is 00:21:17 right now. So it's going well. I know a lot of happy people were in our betting discord here this morning. So on a Monday morning. So a lot of winners were given out by the staff. And it's a great time, especially if your fantasy teams are starting to fall off the cliff here a little bit. We're trying to save you with our waiver wire analysis. But I can always get in on the props as well. Yeah. And I'll give us a lot of props here for this show here, guys. I mean, we talked about Tori Horton. We also were all over Kyle Monongai. We were all over Joe Flacco. We've been running pure and we're hoping to do so for the rest of the season leading into the fantasy football playoffs. Joe, let's talk about a situation that we thought would be pretty clean. And it was the New York Giants running back room.
Starting point is 00:21:59 Cam Scadaboo goes down. Next man in, Tyrone Tracy. But Devin Singletary looked better than him this past week, how are you unpacking the Giants running back room? Do you think this is going to be something that's unpredictable week to week? Do you think there's a chance Devin Singletary, who has a deep history with Brian Daibble, could end up just being the more valuable back to roster? I think, unfortunately, what's going to happen here is they are going to do a true hot hand situation. And if neither one gets hot, they're going to split the work down the middle and neither one's going to get you 10 fantasy points. And Singletary looked a little bit better. I don't know if I'd feel better about starting him in the upcoming week because Tyrone Tracy still did pace in targets and catches, though Singletary got some of those as well.
Starting point is 00:22:47 What this is is like a severe lowercase version, in my opinion, of what the Panthers are now. Well, excuse me, no, because I think Rico Dowell has really jumped to the forefront, probably an extreme lowercase version of what the Seahawks are right now, where you see if one guy's the hot hand, this team, the jump. the giants, the problem is with no scataboo, their goal line back is Jackson Dart. So they're going to go to the guy who's going to be the battering ram down at the goal line. These look like empty calorie running back touches for me. Both guys should be rostered because I know how bad it is at the running back position. And sometimes you just need to get six or seven points from that spot and maybe luck into a touchdown. But unfortunately, this was not a split that I had envisioned.
Starting point is 00:23:33 Tom, interesting, you know, Joe brings up, There's certain weeks where you just need to get by at the running back spot, and you gladly take a six or seven during like biweek hell or if your team's dealing with injuries. An interesting takeaway from the San Francisco 49ers big win over the Giants was Brian Robinson looked really, really good. This is with Christian McCaffrey sort of setting the world on fire. McCaffrey's averaging 25.7 points per game now, which is like the 11th most all time. but Brian Robinson showed his value.
Starting point is 00:24:06 He can end up being one of the most valuable handcuff running backs in football, not saying anything significant would happen with McCaffrey, but now San Francisco has six wins. Let's say McAfree misses a week. How valuable is Brian Robinson as a backup on your roster? I think he has potential to be like a low-end RB1 any time that McCaffrey would miss time this season.
Starting point is 00:24:28 So we know these touches are starting to add up for Christian McCaffrey. He's basically averaging like 25 touches per game. Guy has an extensive injury history as we were reminded of last year when he missed most of the season. So the touches could start to catch up to him a little bit here. Robinson, I've actually added him in a league or two when people were really pinched by buys over the last couple of weeks. And some people, you know, they had to make decisions with their roster. And Robinson was a guy that wasn't being played. on certain teams.
Starting point is 00:25:04 So he was dropped. So I picked him up and added him to my team. He's certainly worth a stash here if something does happen, and McCaffrey. And he showed just what he's capable of in week nine here, limited touches, but five carries for 53 yards and a touchdown. This offense is starting to play a little bit better here. They're getting back to full strength.
Starting point is 00:25:28 George Kittle obviously helps that running game a little bit as well. That defense continues to fall apart. Another major injury on defense last week. So they're going to be playing a lot of high scoring games. So Brian Robinson, in terms of like handcuffed stashes, he's at the top of the list for me right now. Joe, let's talk about another running back situation that's sort of evolving here. Remandre Stevenson was out. It sounds like maybe it's a turf toe situation in New England. Travion Henderson finally had a game where he had the touches. He had four catches for 32 yards, six targets. He also added 14 carries for 55 yards, scores 12.7 points. How good would Trayvion Henderson's role have looked if he would have just gotten the rushing
Starting point is 00:26:16 touchdown, which instead went to Terrell Jennings? Any interest in adding Terrell Jennings and seeing which way this thing goes, or is this just a Trayvion Henderson, but that was sort of unlucky you didn't get the touchdown. So I view it more of the latter. He was kind of unlucky he didn't get the touchdown. Now, apparently there was a locker room narrative here on Sunday. Demario Douglas and Terrell Jennings,
Starting point is 00:26:40 who were childhood friends, each scored a touchdown. DeMario Douglass, Pop Douglas, recently lost an uncle who was a big mentor to both of those guys. So there was the whole factor of those guys, you know, rallying around themselves and their families, each getting in the end zone. Nonetheless, I had already picked up Terrell Jennings in multiple leagues in the event that Travion Henderson was completely doghouse.
Starting point is 00:27:05 And we had to take that into account. Like if you were building DFS lineups or doing prop bets, you still had to take into account that Trayvon Henderson, who was going to be popular, was going to be dog housed because of some of his struggles earlier in the season. That didn't exactly work out that way. So Trayvion Henderson had the performance he needed. But I still think Torell Jennings is somebody who you can plug into a lineup because
Starting point is 00:27:28 if Trayon Henderson has the struggles that he had earlier in the season of Remandre Stevenson's not active, I think Torell Jennings is going to serve as the Ramandre Stevenson proxy. So I think he's somebody in these by weeks. You saw him get the touchdown. I think you can plug him into a lineup. And also this is a really, really good team and a really, really good offense. I think that a lot of props needs to go to Josh McDaniel.
Starting point is 00:27:50 Certainly Drake May, we've talked about it at length. Seems like every single fantasy points podcast from this summer through the season. We were telling you to draft him this summer. And now we're sort of talking about just how good he is. They're going to score a lot of points every single week. So having a sort of a semi-split backfield here, very, very valuable. Tom, we talked a little bit earlier this morning about Ollie Gordon. Looks like a high ankle sprain for Ollie Gordon.
Starting point is 00:28:16 we started to see Gordon and his role sort of increasing the last few weeks as Miami looks to mix in a second back. Are you now enthusiastic about adding Jalen Wright? Always sort of a fantasy enigma for us, unbelievable athlete, not a whole lot of production, but they might actually have to use him. And I know they were giving him touches recently as well. Yeah, I'm mildly interested if it does look like Gordon's going to miss multiple weeks here. We have yet to get much of a concrete update. The last thing we kind of saw was that he was day to day over the weekend, but maybe we'll have a little bit more information this week.
Starting point is 00:28:53 Wright was actually a guy that was being shopped, shopped around a little bit here. We'll see on November 4th here at the trade deadline if he is actually moved. But I doubt it now, especially if Gordon is dealing with an injury. But we do get this match up against the bills this week. Maybe he can get eight to 10 carries, and he does have that upside now. if there is an injury ahead of him with A. Chan, maybe Wright is the guy for a couple of weeks. If Ollie Gordon does end up missing some time, it did look like it could potentially be the high ankle variety for Ollie Gordon. So Jalen Wright would be the next guy up. Yeah, NFL trade deadline.
Starting point is 00:29:31 Really, really, really we're excited about it at Fantasy Points. We're actually going to do a live fantasy football daily podcast. I'm doing an extra one this week. It's going to be on Fantasy Points YouTube at 3.30. The deadline's 4 o'clock. We're doing a short show. I'm going to be joined by Scott Barrett and Brett Whitefield for that one. That's going to be a lot of fun. Guys, could we be talking about a rest of the season RB2 role for Isaiah Davis? Maybe, maybe, maybe a Bruce Hall trade goes down. Apparently the Jets want like a third rounder plus. If Isaiah Davis, let's say somebody cut him because of the buy week guys, and he's out there and there is a Bruce Hall trade, I mean, Isaiah Davis, I'd take him over either of the wide receivers we talked about earlier in the show.
Starting point is 00:30:15 And even if there was a not a trade for Breece Hall, how valuable is this Isaiah Davis role? Joe, let's kick it to you. I mean, this is a, you want to talk about the ultimate contingent upside guy. The rumors are flying and you have to take a look at that. You know, it's kind of like Cooper Cup, Cooper Cup was a little bit of an easier situation to evaluate because he was 30 plus and he has an injury history and the Rams decided to move on for him. So we had more tangible information. But if the Jets get it, a third round pick. By the way, they don't have one. They don't have their own because it belongs to the Eagles. So if they get a third round pick for Brees Hall, they probably are going to make that move
Starting point is 00:30:53 because at best, they're going to get a third round in the compensation market for Brees Hall. So if they are able to get the third or an equivalent of like, you know, a fourth plus a fifth or two fourths or whatever, they're probably going to make that trade. So heck, by the time you listen to this, maybe Breesall has been traded or there's news that the Jets are not going to trade Brees Hall. But if you could magically rewind 24 hours, I would be putting in claims for Isaiah Davis. The problem is, though, Theo, waivers are almost certainly going to run on Tuesday nights. And if Breece Hall is traded, Isaiah Davis is going to be absolutely gobbled up by FAP. Yeah, 60% guy.
Starting point is 00:31:32 Like all the Fab you have left type. I mean, everything you have left. It's weekend, you know. Yeah, Isaiah Davis is such a good pass catcher. We already saw him be successful in that role with Breece Hall on the field. and with Bruce Hall putting up a smash week against Cincinnati. Davis just went absolutely nuts. Tom, do we have any updates on the Quinn-Judkins situation?
Starting point is 00:31:53 Dylan Sampson might be a sneaky ad in leagues he's available. I know some people got ahead of it, added him last week with Judkins being a little bit banged up. Now you've got Cleveland coming out of a bye week. Those practice reports are going to be very important for Judkins. Your thoughts on Samson here. Yeah, well, I haven't heard anything since, but a lot of times, these teams that are on by the week prior, they do have some sort of practice on Monday. So, you know, we're taped before that they potentially practice.
Starting point is 00:32:21 So maybe we'll get a little bit more information. It didn't seem like a very serious injury, but shoulder injuries with running backs, those can linger. And if it continues to be an issue for Judkins, this is a team that's going nowhere. They want to lose games at the end of the season here. So I could very easily see them maybe shutting down Judkins or, or taking some work off of his plate. And Samson's a guy that's been worked in.
Starting point is 00:32:47 He's been mostly in passing situations, but maybe we could see him get a few more carries. And he would be the guy to own if Judkins does miss some time because of the shoulder injury. So we'll see. Jerome Ford's another guy here in this backfield. He could also be traded at the deadline if somebody wants to give up a very late round pick for him.
Starting point is 00:33:07 So if that one could thin out this backfield a little bit more. So Samson has a couple different paths to some relevance. But I do worry overall, though, that this offense just isn't very, it's not very good with Dylan Gabriel. I don't have a whole lot of hope for it with Stador Sanders, potentially later in the season. So these guys are all kind of, you know, Judkins gets a lot of work so he can be an RB2 with his work. But I worry about Samson in this offense.
Starting point is 00:33:38 So he's not a priority guy over. I'd much rather have a guy like Isaiah Davis right now. Yeah, and let's also give everybody a reminder to check on Tank Bigsby, who was really, really good the last time we saw Philadelphia. Sequin Barclay was unbelievable, played fantastic against the Giants, but Tank Bigsby filled in for him when Seekwan left the game with a groin injury. Now, Seekwan and the Eagles say they fully expect him to play against the Packers, but we also just want to keep an eye on this.
Starting point is 00:34:05 And like we talked about with Brian Robinson, any week that Seacquan would miss, Tank Bigsby would be right. into our fantasy lineup. So make sure you check on that one. Guys, let's take one more quick break. We come back. Let's wrap it up with quarterbacks and tight ends right after this. All right. Welcome back. Fantasy Football Daily, Theo Greminger with Tom Broly and Joe Dolan. Joe, let's talk about the tight ends. We finally saw a big performance from Colston Loveland. Really, really strong game from Caleb Williams. That game was just unbelievable for fantasy football, besides, of course, Roma Dunesay. But Loveland,
Starting point is 00:34:41 looked really, really good yesterday, got the game winning touchdown, put up some really, really strong numbers. Year of the rookie tight end continues. Is this the start of something big for Loveland over the second half of the year? Yeah, you would hope so, but of course it is the Cincinnati Bengals and that, that defense that is going to be dueling the Cowboys for historical ineptitude. That being said, you mentioned Romodunze kind of falling out of favor a little bit. Cole Comet leaves with a concussion. I would think a good team. And I would hope that Ben Johnson, with the money they're paying him, a team that is adaptable and self-scouts is going to say, all right, this is what we were looking for. We've been criticized for two months for drafting Colston Loveland over Tyler Warren.
Starting point is 00:35:26 He finally showed what he can do. Unleash the guy. That's what I would want to say. I think if you've been playing, if you've been playing the tight end Russian roulette, Colston Loveland's the priority for me. He is the guy who I would go out and say, this guy's got all the ability. He was a top 10 pick. Please just be, be rational here and play the better player, play the better player than Cole Komet.
Starting point is 00:35:49 That's Colston Loveland. I would hope that the Bears have figured that out. Yeah, I think Loveland's a no-brainer at, especially when you factor in Luther Burden being banged up, Roma Dunzei's struggles. And Loveland just looks awesome. He's a mismatch type player athletically. He's too big for safeties and he's too quick for linebackers.
Starting point is 00:36:06 We saw it with Leporta under Ben Johnson. The narrative with Colston Loveland. And guys, we've seen this over the last couple years. Talk about Pat Friarmer, this rookie season. Talk about Chigacanquo, where these rookie tight ends end up scoring significantly over the second half of the year. That could be Loveland's narrative.
Starting point is 00:36:23 Got to talk about the Tucker Kraft injury, Tom. Kraft is one of the big breaths of fresh air. I mean, this is a depressing one if you're a Green Bay fan or if you have Tucker Kraft on your fantasy roster. Look like he was going to be a challenger for probably a top two or three tight end finish with, the way Trey McBride and Brock Bauer is going to be utilized down the stretch. But Kraft is done?
Starting point is 00:36:45 Is there a chance that Luke Musgrave is in fantasy lineups? Or does this probably change the trajectory of the Packers' offense with a lot of Josh Jacobs and then maybe a little more wide receiver usage? Yeah, I still think he's worth a pick up here with Luke Musgrave. He's a very talented player. He was actually in the same draft with Tucker Kraft, both day two picks, but Musgrave was the guy that went before Kraft in the second round. And he was playing ahead of Tucker Kraft for a lot of his rookie season.
Starting point is 00:37:18 Then kind of his issues in college crept in. He's dealt with injuries as a rookie. And then leading into his second season, then Tucker Kraft really got his opportunity. He's kind of run with the job ever since. And he was really taking off this season. And as you said, he's got top three. He was in the top three at the position.
Starting point is 00:37:38 and it looked like the offense was kind of running through him, at least through the passing game. So a devastating injury here, but Musgrave might be even more athletic, and he's clearly talented. Now he's going to get a big opportunity, but I do think the passing game will be through some of these receivers. We're going to get Jaden Reed back in a few weeks.
Starting point is 00:38:00 Christian Watson is back, Romeo Dobbs. I do think the offense will run through those three wide receivers. But just on the off chance here, if Musgrave does tap into that talent, Uber athletic, he could probably do a lot of the same things that Tucker Kraft was doing after the reception. So I just worry overall, though, maybe we see a little bit more of a tight end committee.
Starting point is 00:38:22 They kind of split the snaps a little bit in week nine after the injury with John Fitzpatrick. But maybe Musgrave earns more opportunities in the next couple of weeks. And maybe he could be one of these guys that you have some confidence sticking into your life. lineup once the fantasy playoffs roll around. But for right now, he's more of a guy I'd pick up, stash, see what happens over the next two, three weeks, and hope that he has a little mini breakout with the opportunity that he's going to get in this pretty good offense.
Starting point is 00:38:54 Joe, speaking of like committee tight end groups, we saw three touchdown catches from Baltimore Ravens tight ends. Mark Andrews with two of them, that was pretty much Mark Andrews day, just two touchdowns and hit the clock. Then you got Charlie Kohler also catches a touchdown pass. But the leading receiver at the tight end position was Isaiah likely finished with 60 receiving yards. Baltimore rolled. Lamar Jackson four touchdown passes, zero interceptions, 286 over Miami. Bringing up Isaiah likely because we have heard Mark Andrews is a potential trade candidate. And Baltimore might send him out despite Baltimore being maybe in the driver's seat with four out of their next six games against AFC North competition, Isaiah likely looks good.
Starting point is 00:39:39 And I think Mark Andrews is expendable. If a Mark Andrews trade were to go down in the time between now and the trade deadline, how excited would you be to add Isaiah likely if he's available in your league? I'd move him to the top of this list. Of course, by the time you listen to this, you might know of that trade. And also, Isaiah likely would be in a similar situation to Isaiah Davis, in which everybody else, everybody in your league who has fab could put in a bid for him. But he would jump to the top of my list.
Starting point is 00:40:08 If the status quo remains, I think, quite frankly, the status quo remains. You can pick up likely and hope he doesn't goose egg you on a Sunday. But you do understand that he's a player who has upside if you do pick him up and hope you pick the right week to use him. So he jumps ahead of Loveland for me if Mark Andrews gets traded. If the status quo remains, I consider him what I say, a fantasy football. football, yo-yo, on and off rosters, up and down, up and down, up and down. And that's what he should remain, I think, until proven otherwise.
Starting point is 00:40:40 Yeah, and speaking of a player who's on and off of rosters, we talked about Dalton Schultz heading into week seven coming out of the by week because he was sort of becoming our break glass in case of emergency player, weeks three, weeks four, weeks five, six targets every single week. Then week seven has the really big game guys, 10 targets, nine catches for 98 yards. Collins, of course, went down in that one. And then week eight, the week that everybody sort of started Dalton Schultz in DFS gave a clunker, four points. So a lot of people cut him in week eight. Then last, this past weekend in week nine had another solid performance, six catches, 77 yards,
Starting point is 00:41:21 eight targets. We're going to continue talking about Dalton Schultz as if he's on your waiver wire and you're searching for like 10, 11 points. He's certainly that. One other tight end, Tom, that I know you wanted to mention for deep league managers, Greg Dulcich. Shout out to the Greg Dulcich hive. You have a little bit of window here. Yeah, the hive is back. It's buzzing right now after that performance on Thursday night football. Had to add him to the waiver wire because he was out there making plays. And right now, this offense is really struggling to find playmakers. They're trying to manufacture touches for Malik Washington. But Dulcich does give them a little bit bit more downfield ability here.
Starting point is 00:42:04 And we've seen the last two years, Jonu Smith and Darren Waller and just some flashes here earlier this season. These tight ends have had some relevance and we're looking at this roster. No Tyreek Hill. They need playmakers anywhere that they can get them. And maybe
Starting point is 00:42:20 Greg Dolcich can be that guy moving forward, promising 44% route share last week. So maybe that can rise here a little bit. Might as well. If you're the dolphins, we're, they're starting to clean house here a little bit, fired the GM, traded defensive end here and Jalen Phillips as well. So maybe they're, you know, starting to look towards next year. Let's get an eye on Dulc, see if he can play a little bit. So anybody that's playing an FFPC or any other tight-end
Starting point is 00:42:48 premium leagues, I think he's at least worth a pickup here. If you've got a roster spot that's not doing anything, maybe he could become somebody here in the next couple of weeks. Yeah, and I'll also mention a quarterback that we've been talking about for many weeks here. Sam Darnold, I think, is rostered in most leagues now. If he's still available, great addition. He was lights out last night against Washington for touchdown passes. And guys, he was like 16 of his first 16, ridiculously efficient. Take a look for Sam Darnold. But one quarterback who should be available to you. And guys, we've talked about this player way too often because Jaden Daniels has been injured now multiple times this year.
Starting point is 00:43:30 This one looked really bad. When I saw Jaden Daniels go to the ground, I thought this was season ending. They're not saying that. They're saying it's a dislocated elbow. But Marcus Marriota, again, on our waiver wire, you know, radars. They play Detroit in week 10, Miami on the road in week 11. And there's potential Mariotta sees time after Washington's week 12 by. your enthusiasm levels for Marcus Marriota, Joe.
Starting point is 00:43:59 Low, but I mean, in a super flex league, you might not have much of a choice. I mean, here's my biggest problem. We know Terry McLaren's going to be out to week 12 and beyond, apparently, with that quad injury. They say Jaden Daniels, here, let me back up and rephrase a little bit. Because when you ask me my enthusiasm level, well, they say Jaden Daniels season isn't over. Might I propose that it should be? I think it will be.
Starting point is 00:44:25 A three and six record, the franchise, we all saw like rushing a young mobile quarterback, like it gives PTSD to commanders fans who were Redskins fans at the time. We didn't want to throw that one out there with Robert Griffin. Yeah, no, and like, look, it's obviously different. This is his non-throwing elbow. If you are going to suffer a gruesome injury as an NFL quarterback to your non-throwing elbow is the best gruesome injury you can possibly have. but they're three and six and guys this roster is terrible.
Starting point is 00:44:55 I mean, Debo Samuel's out there quitting on routes. Zachertz is 138 years old. Their best offensive lineman Laramie Tunsell is still in his 30s. I mean, this is just not a very good football team right now. So I don't know how excited I am for Mario to look, he's probably going to be just based on his rushing ability, a top 20-ish quarterback for as long as he's in the lineup. And you might need that, especially in a Super Flex League. I feel like there's better options, you know.
Starting point is 00:45:23 What if Jacoby Brissette lights up Dallas on Monday night? We were recording this before Monday night football. Not that I'm able to see it, YouTube. But just a little. Your Kosta has a lot of sponsors here, Joe. I'm sorry. Well, I'm sorry. Shout out to the Burger King people.
Starting point is 00:45:40 Reach out to Tom. Tom's going to cool the ice here. Tom, J.J. McCarthy, like a lot of people were writing off Minnesota. I saw a lot of like DFS articles recommending Detroit. defense. People are very confident in a Lions win. McCarthy never lost in the state of Michigan while in college. He continues to do well in state. Goes into Detroit gets a huge win. The passing yardage not very high, but he did have two passing touchdowns, added another touchdown as a runner. Some positivity here with J.J. McCarthy. They play Baltimore this week. Your thoughts on McCarthy,
Starting point is 00:46:19 how enthusiastic are you about adding him on the waiver wire if he's available in your league? Yeah, I think he should be picked up. He's running. We've seen in each of his three starts here. He's run a little bit and scored some rushing touchdowns. We do need to see some more production in the passing game, though. I know they did go in and get a win here, but this downfield passing attack has to be opened up a little bit more before I get really excited about McCarthy. but I mean, he was written off for dead here the last couple of weeks because of how long it took him to get back. So week nine was certainly a positive step. And he's put up fantasy production in two of his three games. So I think he should be rostered.
Starting point is 00:47:02 He's got a lot of great weapons here, obviously, with Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison. So maybe he can, it's one of those like he, this is, you know, is only going into his fourth NFL start here. So maybe we can see some incremental growth down the. a stretch and maybe he could work his way into like a high-end QB2 by the end of the season. But I think he still is going to have some growing pains over the next couple of weeks. I think people are maybe rushing a little bit to praise him just because of how bad it was to start the season. But certainly at least some baby steps here taken in week nine.
Starting point is 00:47:37 Joe Dolan, four passing touchdowns for Gino Smith. Three of them go to Brock Bowers. Bowers looked unbelievable yesterday. any interest in picking up Gino here. Is this the like a turn of events post by week? Or is this a, hey, he just had a really, really good game against Jacksonville. And it all comes crashing down to Earth against Denver. We've seen him play two really good games, right? And what, what is the common factor? Brock Bowers was available and healthy for those two games. So Gino's still been one of the worst quarterbacks in the NFL this year. But they obviously did not plan on Brock Bowers missing two months. of the season. So I would have much more interest in Gino than I did just 24 hours ago. And Tom, your interest level in Justin Fields coming out of New York's by week? Oh, just go in knowing that he can, you know, he can put up a dud for you at any moment. But if you're willing to eat a dud in hopes of maybe a 25-point performance, like we've seen
Starting point is 00:48:37 from him a couple of times this season, he's worth a play. And at least this week, it's a tough match. up against the Browns, but it's also one where the Jets should be competitive throughout. I'm not expecting a whole lot of points, but maybe he's built some, a little bit of momentum here. I do expect him to get the start after getting the win. Aaron Glenn isn't telling us, though. Oh, is he? He's playing hard to, hard to guess here with the quarterback position. But yeah, it's one of those, like, like if I, if I need some upside off the waiver wire
Starting point is 00:49:09 and I'm choosing behind, you know, choosing between all of these, you know, be two type options and I'm a big underdog in a matchup. That's the only time I will use Justin Fields if I need some major upside from the quarterback position. Yeah, and Davis Mills, if you're in a super flex format, check on Mills. Looks like C.J. Stroud is going to miss this week. Davis Mills might be a decent spot start. We saw Gino with four touchdown passes against this Jaguards defense. Maybe we get a Davis Mills to Nico Collins and Dalton Schultz type game. Guys, we covered way, way, way too many names here today. Very thorough one. We're hoping to keep running pure. Big shout out to the audience who's been very supportive to this Waverwire show. Again, if you want to level your game up,
