whatever it is you celebrate. I don't know if I've had one because Tom Brawley and I are recording
this on I guess it's I guess I'm not a huge Seinfeld guy Tom but we're recording this on festivists I
believe the 23rd of December Monday just so it's a Festivis miracle here uh yeah well the Festivis
miracle will be me winning a god damn bet no the festival's miracle will be Trey winning a bet but
oh yeah well that too but I well I got cleaned out on my best bets last week I'll always
admit when I do um Kamani Vidal doesn't get a target seeing Hassan ha
ask and score a long touchdown pass when I had to come on even all.
All I needed was one catch from my man and he didn't get it.
I misread the Cooper Cup and the Rams offense and your Steeze.
Let me down.
Part of the teaser, I finally got the Steelers right, the Chiefs right, and a teaser.
The Texans came through for me, but the Steeze did not, T-Bro.
As soon as Russell Wilson threw that pick six, I was like,
sick at us, and I knew I was going to lose.
But unfortunately, them are the brakes.
And like, hey, I never sit here and tell you that I'm, I'm an expert better.
I'm not wise.
I'm just a guy.
You are the guy who people need to be tailing in.
Good friend, Trey, nobody's tailing him.
He's not joining us here.
He's got late, he procrastinated on his Christmas show.
Yeah, come on, Trey, you got a plan better than that.
You got to, you know, get the Christmas shopping done before, you know, right before the holiday.
He said he went out and looked for his gift that he was looking for.
Of course it was gone, because everybody else is out shopping around.
So hopefully Trey ends up finding some good stuff for his family.
But yeah, I had a pretty good week as well.
Player props were 8 and 2 going into Monday night.
ATS though, Joe.
We're going to hit on some ATS picks because props are a little light here early in the week.
And my ATS stuff has been hot garbage here the last two weeks.
So hopefully we're going to turn a page here in week 17 for the holidays.
It's been, I think I'm 0 in 6 in my last six best bets here in weeks 15 and 16.
So maybe you just want to fade my ATS picks or maybe you want to jump on with me in week 17.
And we're going to turn this ship around here moving forward.
So we are recording this on December 23rd.
So the Wednesday games are not part of this show.
We just want to stick to.
I don't understand all the social media push stuff, but I do know good friend Trey and Thomas Tipple,
our social media experts say this show needs to come out on Thursdays.
So it's coming out on Thursday.
If you want to follow Tom Broly for any Christmas Day stuff, DFS stuff with Scott Barrett and the boys,
make sure you sign up for our early bird special at Fantasy Points.com.
20% off from now through Super Bowl Sunday gets you not just the rest of 2024,
but all of the 2025 season.
No strings attached.
So depending on whatever package you get, it's 20% off.
Now through Super Bowl Sunday, no code is required.
That discount is already applied.
It's as easy as one, two, three.
Maybe you were late getting a Christmas gift.
Maybe you underspend on somebody.
Maybe one of the toys came broken.
And you need to fill in the stocking.
Do it with the early bird special.
All right, Tom.
So we're going to kick off by talking about the Thursday night football game.
So we have games on Wednesday.
We have games on Thursday.
We have games on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
After having a game on Monday night, Sunday, Saturday, the week before.
Yeah, it's just complete chaos here.
I don't even know which week we're in.
You know, we've got games on Wednesday.
I guess that's technically in week 17.
It's complete chaos here right now.
I got my Thursday night prop in literally just before we sat down to record.
They just got posted at my...
Your book on the Internet.
Quasi legal, quasi illegal,
quasi illegal, depending on which way you look at it.
Tom, it's the Seahawks and the Bears.
The Bears actually put up some nuts.
numbers against the Detroit Lions, which might be a concern for the Lions defense heading into
the playoffs. But I'm seeing the Seahawks in Chicago laying three and a half, 43 being the
total. I didn't have any particular interest in this. I guess I would bet the Seahawks if I had to,
but those NFC West teams have just baffled and bamboozled me all season long. I'm not on
the side or the total in this game, but I did lay a bet on and it disappeared right away. I hit
Jackson Smith and Jigba over 69 and a half receiving yards.
It got up to 71.5 immediately on a Monday.
So maybe they saw my bet and were like, oh, crap.
Like we set that way too low.
He has gone over 69 and a half receiving yards, Tbro, in seven consecutive games.
He's on fire right now.
He's the number one receiver here over D.K. Metcalf.
And a lot of it has to do with the offensive line struggles that they've had.
They just have been unable to push the ball downfield,
which has contributed to Jackson Smith and Jigsba's little breakout here.
But he's just overall just playing much better than he was during his rookie season.
So he's really come alive here.
Joe, I'm looking at the sports books right now too.
The American books have it about 70 and a half.
I wouldn't expect this one to rise too much.
I did give this one out in last week's game.
It was at 64 and a half.
and actually went down a little bit towards 62 and a half,
63 and a half.
So I wouldn't expect it to rise too much here.
But he's been playing excellent.
I've liked this, but I've been on him like two or three times here
over the last six weeks since the by week.
Yeah, so I mean, JSN, I was actually talking to Paul Kelly on the Sirius XM Morning Show today.
And we were talking about when he's going to get drafted next year.
I'm really bad at that, by the way, like predicting when somebody is going to
get drafted. My first instinct was third round and I think I'm too low. I think he's going to be a
second round pick by the time August rolls around with JSN. I think people are are kind of seeing
Tyler Locke and I even forget if he plays football anymore. And I think people might view JSN as kind of like
a new version of Amon-Ross St. Brown. Yeah, it's going to be interesting because Metcalf has also
fallen off here because of the offensive line struggles, I think. But he's also had a knee injury,
but he's been a little bit inconsistent throughout his career.
So where those two go in relation to each other is going to be fascinating.
I do think JSN, based on the last two months of the season here,
I think he's going to vault ahead of Metcalf in draft.
So, yeah, I don't even think that's, I don't even think that's debatable at this point, frankly.
Yeah, so, yeah, he's playing excellent right now.
And, yeah, he's going to be a very sought-after draft, you know,
wide receiver here in the wide receiver two range in fantasy drafts next year.
Tom, you had a wide receiver in this game as well in the prop market and it's on the Chicago
bear side. Yeah, this is a prop that we've been given out on the site here for a couple of times here.
We've we have the fantasy points data at our fingertips and we track design targets on the in the
data suite. And since Thomas Brown took over as the offensive play caller, he's now the interim
head coach as well, but he, DJ Moore has seen 20 design targets in six games. So he's averaging,
you know, three and a half, you know, close to three and a half design targets a game. And,
you know, those are usually low A dot, easy receptions right at the line of scrimmage. So
we're going back to the well here with over five and a half receptions on DJ Moore. We're
getting a big plus price, at least on Monday when we gave out this profit, plus 116. I,
could see some momentum building on this one. We also gave this out at plus 110 last week in the
Detroit matchup. And I think it did end up finishing like maybe minus 105. There was some momentum
towards the over here. So maybe by the time you're listening to this on Thursday, maybe it's closer
to plus 100 or like a minus 105. But I still like it because of these design targets. They're, you know,
real short, real easy for them. And if we look at those six games under Thomas Brown, he's been able to get to
six receptions and every one of those, every one of those games.
So he's easy, he's cleared this number, six straight games.
The matchup is not, not ideal here.
Seattle's been, you know, pretty tough on perimeter receivers,
giving up the 12 fewest receptions per game, but two receivers aligned out wide.
But I still like this one.
Moore's a pretty pivotal piece here.
And the way this offense has trended, DeAndre Swift has been a, you know,
pretty much a zero in the backfield.
So they have to do a lot of these short passes to move the offense.
And the bears have a penchant for falling behind so quickly in these games in the first,
first and second quarters that they're pretty pass heavy late in games.
So I would expect this to continue here.
So let's go to DJ Moore over five and a half receptions.
Hopefully you can still get a plus price on that one.
Because we don't have good friend Trey on today's program, Tom,
we're going to have to do something a little bit different.
We're going to talk the Saturday and Sunday slates from a point spread perspective because there's not a whole lot of props out yet.
And then you and I are going to tackle some futures.
So we're going to pay some bills and we'll be back to talk the rest of week 17 and the rest of the NFL season in general.

prior prop bets, which have been red hot of late.
John Hansen's been red hot with his touchdown props of late.
Those are always, those always pay out very, very well.

We'll get you all of that.
I just give my stuff out here because it's not worth putting behind a paywall.
So that's what I do.
We put the good stuff behind the paywall.
Tom, not a whole lot on the slate in terms of propage yet.
So we're going to talk ATS stuff.
have my Dolan teaser. My teasers have been garbage, but I have one I like this week. But I'll get to
that in a little bit. What have you hit from the Saturday and Sunday slate so far from a spread
perspective? Well, I do have a little Saturday action here. So let's start with that one. I did jump on
the Los Angeles Chargers laying a price here on the road against New England. You know, this New
England team was looking pretty frisky against the Buffalo Bills. But I'm going to
to back the chargers here. I gave it out minus four and a half. There are some minus fours out here
on Monday evening. So this line has actually moved against me in some spots. So, but I, you know,
obviously I still like it at minus four. But Los Angeles.
Yeah, yeah. Los Angeles is, you know, coming off. They had a Thursday night game against
Denver. So they have a little extra rest. And they'll be, you know, we're looking at the Patriots.
They have a short week to get ready for this game.
So it's not the easiest spot.
They've got to come to the East Coast for a 1 PM game.
But New England's been, you know, they've been putting up some fights.
But Chargers are looking to lock up a playoff spot with a victory here.
So they don't want to mess around with this much longer.
So they also could get J.K. Dobbins back.
They activated him from the injured reserve on Monday.
And that's kind of been a big problem for this.
offense. It's been a little too bit a little too much, a little too reliant on uh,
Justin Herbert here over the last couple of, a couple of weeks while Dobbins has been out of
the lineup. They finally got a, a big run out of Gus Edwards last week and it kind of
sparked the offense in the second half. But, uh, maybe J.K. Dobbins can get back into the
lineup this week. Uh, and this, this matchup for the running game is pretty enticing here against
the Patriots. So, uh, I've also looked into the weather. It looks like it's going to be pretty nice,
uh, up in the bottom.
Austin area on Saturday, you know, very small chance of rain, mid-30s for the weather.
So nothing too bad for this Los Angeles team that's coming up here.
So I have this line closer to six points.
And I've liked this Patriots team a lot.
I'm going to be drafting a lot of Drake May next next off season.
But I like playing the smallish price here with the Chargers.
I thought this should be closer to six points.
So give me the Chargers minus four and a half heading to New England on Saturday.
Well, I figured I should actually talk about my teaser now.
Because it includes the L.A. Chargers.
Uh-oh.
I have them teased a plus two against the New England Patriots.
And I have teased that it's a six point teaser two team as all of my teasers have been.
Once I start winning these with Alacrity, then I'll start actually maybe adding a third team or whatnot.
But Tom, I have added a second team.
I have teased them all the way up to 14 points.
And it's a team that's been damn competitive.
Now, the only time they haven't been competitive in the last month plus
was in the one game they've been favored in the last two years.
Maybe they're reading the press clippings.
Oh, we've earned a win.
Bryce Young doesn't play all that well against the Dallas Cowboys.
He comes out, plays great the very next week,
quarterbacks them to an overtime victory.
give me the Carolina Panthers teased up to 14 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers coming off a bad loss.
Now look, the Buccaneers have all the motivation in the world.
Obviously, they're basically 50-50 to win the division with the Atlanta Falcons who got some new life with Michael Penix.
But I like the Chargers getting two and I like the Panthers getting 14 from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
That is the Dolan two team teaser of the week.
That is the only Sunday Monday bet I have so far this weekend.
Well, I'm joining you with.
I'm with you, Joe.
I don't know if this is good or bad because I also have the Carolina Panthers.
Oh, just you have the, you have the minus eight.
I haven't had a plus seven and a half.
I gave it out on the site.
There are some plus eights popping up here this week after I gave it out on Monday.
So we're in a tandem on this, on these two bets here.
Hopefully my 0 and 6 record from the last two weeks.
Maybe this is a good thing.
Maybe get you involved.
We'll turn the ship,
around here. Bring some good luck to my
picks. Yeah, you laid
out the reasons here.
You know, Panthers have been, they're
not laying down here late in the season. They want to
build some momentum. Did it last week by
eliminating the Cardinals from the postseason.
Now they get a chance to against the division
rival. Play spoiler. Yeah.
Play spoiler. Ruin Tampa Bay's dreams
of winning the NFC South again and making
the postseason. You know, the
the Buccaneers, obviously.
are going to be, you know, highly motivated after the Sunday night loss.
But a little worried about that offensive line.
Tristan Wirf's was playing with a bad ankle throughout that game.
It's going to be an injury to watch this week.
Not that the Panthers have the best defensive line to take advantage of it,
but that could be a key injury for that offensive line to monitor.
But we also have this matchup from earlier this season in week 11.
It was a tight ball game there.
It was a six and a half point spread with Tampa Bay heading up to Carolina.
And that game went into overtime.
And the Buccaneers ended up pulling out a three point victory in that game.
So these two teams have already played a tight one, went into overtime.
Was that the Chuba?
That was the Chuba fumble game, wasn't it?
Yeah, yes, it was.
Yep.
So, you know, these two teams, there's division rivals here.
It just feels like this plus seven and a half, plus eight, it's a little too much.
I think, you know, based on what my, you know, my power rankings say,
it should be probably closer to six and a half.
So I've really upgraded the Panthers a lot.
They were rock bottom, dead, dead last for much of the season in my power rankings.
And now they've moved up to, I believe, they're 24th overall.
So they've moved up 10 spots.
I'd be scared shitless if I were the Buccaneers in this game.
Yeah.
I mean, I would not want to be, you know, Tampa Bay, you don't want to be the, you know,
don't want to lose to the Carolina Panthers to eliminate yourself.
So let's go with the Carolina Panthers plus seven-half, plus eight.
We're in tandem on this one, Joe.
And by the way, I'll tell you about Bryce Young.
I know he's 158, two touchdowns.
Now, of course, he had the long runs.
The numbers belie how well he played in that game.
You know, the touchdown to David Moore.
Tom, he was basically fading away.
And he put that in the only spot, well, in a spot where only David Moore could get it.
fantastic throw. He is a night and day player. I thought it was ridiculous that Dave
Canales even had to say, yes, of course Bryce is starting the final three games of the season.
Because even in the Cowboys game, yeah, he turned the ball over four times, but it wasn't the
deer in headlights Bryce Young we saw in week one and week two. It was a different player. It was
somebody who was maybe starting to get a little bit more, you know, confidence and made a couple
of bad plays. That's going to happen to a young quarterback, but 158 and two touchdowns does not
describe the confidence that I saw Bryce Young playing with against the Cardinals with, in my opinion,
a really bad supporting cast.
Yeah, you can even see it on his demeanor on the sidelines.
He's dancing around, having a good time.
And it seems like his teammates are, you know, really, you know, gaining some confidence in him as well.
And a couple of those throws that he made in that Cardinals game, you're right.
I mean, he took some big hits too.
He stood in there and took some shots.
So, you know, I'm starting to gain a little bit of confidence here in Bryce Young.
I'm confident enough to back him here.
He burned us a little bit against the Cowboys a couple of weeks ago, his favorites.
But now we're catching more than a touchdown here.
Just got to keep this one within a one possession score, which they've been able to do quite a bit here over the last, you know, since they're by.
So they've covered in six of their last seven games.
So looking for Carolina to do it again here.
on continuous strong play, maybe play a little spoiler against the Buccaneers.
Did you hit anything else from the rest of the week 17 slate, Tom?
Yeah, I have a little, you know, the stinker up in Cleveland.
We're going on with Miami Dolphins, taking any chance I can to fade Dorian Thompson-Robinson,
although it looks like, you know, he did maybe pick up a calf injury.
We'll see if he's able to play.
That makes me a little more nervous.
But I laid it with the Miami Dolphins here, minus five and a half.
Now, this is an interesting time of year.
You know, we're always looking at scenarios.
You know, slight concern here.
Both the Chargers and the Broncos win on Saturday,
then the Dolphins wouldn't have anything to play for
because those two teams would take the final playoff spots.
But the Bengals are favored and at home
against the Denver Broncos in that Saturday game at 430.
If the Broncos lose that game,
that final playoff spot is still up.
for grabs and Miami is one of those teams in contention for it and they have plenty to play for
here. It seems like they're playing hard anyway. But this bet ultimately is coming down to
the opportunity to bet against Dorian Thompson Robinson, who is not an NFL quarterback so far
in his his career owns a 0.6 TD rate and a 5% I&T rate and is averaging 3.9 yards
attempt on his first 180 career attempts.
So we're going to take the chance here.
And we know anytime Miami is traveling north here,
we've got to make sure, especially in December and even in November,
got to make sure to check the forecast.
So early forecast here, it's looking pretty warm in northern Ohio here.
High 40s, a little bit of a chance for precipitation and winds in the 10 to 15
mile per hour range for Cleveland.
So it seems like a very good forecast here for a Miami Dolphins team that's heading north.
Obviously, you still want to keep an eye on that one.
If you're planning on the jump on this, dolphins bet with me.
But everything is kind of lining up here.
Hopefully, the Broncos do lose that game on Saturday, though.
I think the dolphins, obviously, are going to prepare all week to want to win the game.
And I still think they'll play with, you know, they want to win the game.
no matter what, but just making sure the Denver loses that game on Saturday,
gives them a little extra motivation to.
T, bro, Dorian Thompson, Robinson, obviously, look,
I understand why the Browns who do not have a future quarterback on their roster.
I think that's pretty obvious right now.
I understand why they bench James Winston for DTR.
Like, I understand, like, hey, maybe DTR shows us something that we can have him come in
and be the de facto starter while Deshawn Watson heals up,
which, you know, but it didn't happen.
I think Cleveland's the Kirk Cousin spot.
I wouldn't mind that as a Steelers fan.
Well, yeah, but I mean, like, look, he's, who else are they going to get?
They're not going to have to pay Kurt Cousins because he'll probably sign for the vet minimum
wherever he's got a best chance to start.
And Browns fans will certainly be able to say, well, at least he's better than, at least
it's better than Deshawn, which even in his struggles this year, he was better than
Deshawn Watson.
Tom Broley, that is a conversation for the offseason.
We're going to take a quick break here.
And when we come back, we're going to talk Super Bowl,
playoff futures, maybe even a little award talk.
T-Bro, this is the best bet show.
So stay tuned.
Okay, Tom, without good friend Trey here,
we actually have to talk some normal things on the betting show.
Hope Trey is enjoying his Christmas.
The reason, of course, he delayed buying Christmas presents
is he expected one of his cockamamie bets to hit for like plus 7,500,
and nothing has happened.
But let's hope he does in the very near future.
So you're saying,
saying he's using that credit card for these purchases.
Unfortunately, I think so.
No cash on hand.
No, no cash on hand for good friend Trey.
So Tom, I'm going to, what I'm going to do is I'm going to talk, I'm going to go down the Super Bowl odds.
And I want you to tell me stop the first time you hear a team that you don't think has a legitimate shot to win the Super Bowl.
Okay.
Let's do it.
So I want you to tell me stop.
All right.
Detroit Lions.
Kansas City Chiefs.
Buffalo Bills, Philadelphia Eagles, Baltimore Ravens, Minnesota Vikings, Green Bay Packers, Los Angeles Rams.
Stop.
So you think there's seven.
I said, I thought seven was the right number for me.
And then I said, if you are a real stickler, maybe you would say stop after the Baltimore Ravens and say there's no way Sam Darnold is winning a Super Bowl.
Yeah, I have, I'm with you, Joe.
I have 17, you know, I do my power rankings.
And there's a cliff from seven to eight.
I have the Kansas City Chiefs right now at the seventh spot at five and a half points.
And then there's the Rams at the eighth spot, three and a half points.
So there's a two point difference, pretty significant point difference between the top of the board,
which is pretty clustered.
I have those seven teams all within a point.
point and a half of each other right now. So I have it pretty wide open between those seven
teams, but there's a pretty, you know, wide golf after the top seven teams right now.
So I'm going to tell you what my two favorite bets are of this. And this is not going to be
any surprise to you whatsoever. And I am going to try, like, I don't know if I am actually
going to wager on the Eagles to win the Super Bowl, but if I would, it would be now. Their odds
have basically doubled. And by that, I mean, went from lower to higher,
essentially because they have virtually no path to the one seed after the debacle against the commanders.
They're at plus 650.
I think you can make an argument they're the best team in the NFC.
Just in terms of balance, Detroit's defense is a debacle right now.
Now for Detroit, the good news is they're probably not going to have to go play an outdoor cold weather game
unless Minnesota wins the one seed and then Detroit might have to go to Philly.
So I think the Eagles, the Eagles are my favorite bet in the NFC.
And quite frankly, I think the Ravens are my favorite bet in the AFC plus 750.
I think in terms of the combination of offense and defense, they have the best group.
Now, I do not want to be standing in front of Josh Allen in January.
No.
But right now, maybe the Ravens don't have to stand in front of Josh Allen.
I think the Ravens at 750.
Those are my two favorite Super Bowl straight up bets right now.
Yeah, I'm with you on both of these.
I like them a lot.
I'm on the, I actually have a preseason bet on the Eagles.
I believe it was at 20 to 1 that we gave out last.
You're not betting it now.
No, I'm sitting on this one.
I'm actually hurting a little bit.
One of my, you know, I do all these preseason futures bets.
And one of my favorite ones was the Philadelphia Eagles to have the best record in the NFL.
It was like 15 to 1 or 16 to 1.
I thought it was in pretty good shape going into yesterday.
yesterday. Just needed the chiefs to drop a game. And, you know, it might have been,
ended up a dead heat one where I had to split it with the, you know, whoever else finished
with two losses. But so I'm with you here on the Eagles that, you know, just a little
slip up last, last week. Kenny Pickett was in for most of the game. Can I tell you one more,
by the way? Go ahead. Um, it, the most likely matchup for the Eagles in round one. The Eagles are
virtually like guaranteed to be the two seed right now. All they need to essentially lock up the two
seat is either one win against either
the Cowboys or the Giants or the Commanders to lose one
game. So they're virtually locked
into the two seats. Their most likely
opponent is the commanders right now.
They can't set that line high enough for me.
They can't set it high enough. You're already penciling
that in as one of your bets.
Cannot set it high enough. That's going to be at the link.
I'm going to say that's probably going to be like a
seven and a half point spread, maybe eight.
Can't set it high enough. They're winning by two touchdowns in that.
And they're going to be out for blood. I mean, the Commanders
tried to hand that game to them plenty of times.
day and they couldn't take advantage of it.
Well, they put, I mean, if you watch that game, they had eight, nine in the box against
Sequin.
Like, they were daring Pickett to beat him.
And Pickett made a couple of plays.
Like, I'm not going to, I'm not going to sit here and blame Kenny Pickett for why the
Eagles lost that game.
But, like, it was very clear that the commander's gameplay, apparently, I'm doing the
game day show, so I don't hear the broadcast.
But apparently, uh, Olson was, was going off about, oh, the commander's defense adjusted.
I was like, well, yeah, of course they adjusted.
They should.
the game.
Yeah.
You don't have to worry about can he picket running?
You know, you just try to make him beat him.
And he did for a little bit.
So it is.
It's one of those things.
I think it was a fluky loss for the Eagles.
Credit to the commanders, credit to Daniels.
But they cannot set the line high enough in the first round.
So that's going to be my first round fade.
But I digress, T, bro.
Yeah, this Ravens team are going to the EFC.
I'm with you here.
They're kind of flying under the radar here.
They beat the Steelers in week 16 now.
Now they're the favorites to win the 8.
AFC North, minus 190.
Steelers are plus 160.
So pretty pivotal games here on Christmas.
We'll probably have a better idea.
We might be sounded like idiots if the Ravens lost on Christmas Day.
But they've had, if not the best offense, you know,
right behind the Detroit lines for much of the season here.
And now it feels like that Baltimore Ravens defense is starting to turn a little bit
of a corner here in the back half of the season.
And secondary is playing much better.
So, you know, I feel like they could be the most complete team in the AFC here.
So that would be my favorite as well.
But, you know, these pesky chiefs, plus set in plus 450, nobody likes them.
And they're going to sleepwalk to the top seat here.
And everybody's going to have to come into Kansas City.
We did our waiver wire podcast.
They have a, you know, a pretty good little weapon there in Marquise Brown,
who could be a pivotal piece for them in the AFC playoffs.
So we're all kind of sleeping on them too, but we'll see how it all shakes out.
But I'm with you.
I like the Eagles and the Ravens.
Those are my two favorite ones in the Super Bowl bets right now.
Now, Tom, I have to acknowledge, and you mentioned Christmas,
these odds might be completely askew after the Christmas Day games are played.
And, you know, we have some teams who are obviously in the playoff hunt,
who are playing on Christmas Day.
The Steelers play the Raven, excuse me, the Chiefs.
The Ravens play the Texans.
So that's a two-game Christmas Day slate that has a lot of implications, you know, for the AFC playoff hunt.
So maybe we feel free to adjust our opinions after that.
In terms of anything else, Tom, season awards, do you think there's any value whatsoever on betting Lamar Jackson to win MVP?
I'm looking at Fandul right now, plus 380 to win MVP.
But again, we'll have a little bit more information after the Christmas Day game.
Yeah, I think Josh Allen's pretty locked in here still. I mean, maybe it would have to be a
catastrophic couple of performances from him in the final weeks of the season. I know it was pretty
ugly in week 16, but still pulled out the win. He's minus 450 right now. Lamar Jackson is the
only other person I think that's really live for this right now. Sequin Berkeley is at plus
1,500 entering week 17. So, but I think Josh.
Josh Allen's pretty locked in here.
I think there's a little bit of the voter fatigue here.
Lamar Jackson's won at multiple times, including last year.
Josh Allen has been knocking on the door multiple times over the last couple of years
and has been beaten out for the award.
So I think the narrative is still pretty strong here for the bills.
They're going to end up with the potentially second seed here.
Looks like the Chiefs will wrap up the top seed.
But, you know, the offense lost Stefan Diggs.
and he's been doing it with a weaker cast at receiver.
And he's had a couple of Superman games.
But, you know, not that Lamar Jackson hasn't.
But I think the narrative is pretty strong here on Josh Allen.
So, you know, I'm not stepping into this market now.
But if I had to, I probably would just lay it with Josh Allen at minus 450.
All right, T, bro.
I hope everybody had a Merry Christmas.
I hope you had a Merry Christmas.
I hope I had a Merry Christmas.
I don't know that just yet.
My dog back there, you see Crimp it over my shoulder there?
Yeah.
He's been messing up my couch the entire show.
she's definitely going to have a Merry Christmas.
Santa Claus is going to treat my credit.
No lump of coal for the dogs.
I'm actually surprised Scotchy.
Hasn't been in here hooting and hollering, but she's out there somewhere.
I'm going to go take care of my dogs, guys.
Happy holidays.
Merry Christmas.
