Week 7, fantasy football, top 10 takeaways, latest breaking news, instant reactions,
and the injuries you need to know about right here on fantasy points.
Let's get it.
What's going on, Theo Graminger, Fantasy Football Daily, wrapping up a wild week seven,
games heading into Sunday night football, wrapping up everything from Sunday during the day,
also Thursday night.
And this was supposed to be a clean one.
I had it all mapped out.
This was supposed to start out.
I was going to talk about Jamar Chase.
I was going to talk about Rashi Rice.
I was going to talk about a number of interesting things.
But we had a absolutely wild 4 o'clock on the East Coast slate.
The Giants and the Broncos just played one of the most exciting games in the entire season.
An absolutely wild, 33, 32 game, where the Broncos came out ahead on a last second field goal.
Denver scored 33 points in the 4th.
quarter like absolutely wild wild stuff this game seemed like it was over it was 26 to 8 a bunch of
prominent people on x were doing like a bunch of posts talking about jackson dark gets another huge
win and and jackson dart was incredible but bow nicks was even better this game was nuts and it was
you never know when you're going to get a game like this in fantasy where these are sometimes the most
exciting ones. Bo Nix heading into Sunday night football is the QB one on the week. Absolutely
electric. Led Denver to a huge, huge comeback, 33 fourth quarter points. Bo Nix with 279 passing yards,
two passing touchdowns, but you get back to the Bo Nix producing with his legs. Five carries for
48 yards and two rushing scores. Just unbelievable from Nix. Really, really positive stuff when it comes
the Knicks. Knicks is definitely trending up. I know that this wasn't a perfect,
perfect storyline. Like, beginning of the game, there was certainly a lot of, a lot of misses.
But you factor in the Cincinnati game, the Philadelphia game. The Jets game was, we'll kind of
give them a pass. That was in Europe. Game was overseas. Game was definitely an ugly,
ugly one. But this game seemed like the magical Bo Nix moment. And now Bo Nix gets to Dallas
Cowboys next week in Denver, a chance to get another huge win.
Denver with really two huge wins for them in the last three games played.
In Philly was a huge game.
You call that like a program win if it was a college football team.
And then the New York Giants this week because of the comeback situation.
But let's also talk about Jackson Dart.
Another exceptional performance from Jackson Dart.
I mean, Jackson Dart is just completely locked in.
We've talked about him on multiple fantasy points podcast,
how he's a QB1 for the rest of the season.
and it's not like he has a ton of weapons here.
There's a connection with Wondell Robinson.
There's a connection with Theo Johnson.
Theo Johnson, big shout out to the Theo's.
We love seeing Theo's actually producing in sports.
But Theo Johnson had a catch-off of deflection.
It was a really, really nice score for him to stay with a play there.
Sort of bounced his way, but he still made the play.
Cam Scataboo is doing about as much as he can with this offense.
But it's really Jackson Dart.
Jackson Dart was fantastic.
And when Denver took that late lead,
Jackson Dart answered with a touchdown of his own on the ground.
Three touchdown passes for Dart does have the interception.
And five carries for a touchdown, low, low rushing total.
But both these players are QBs 1 and QB2,
heading into Sunday night football.
Fantastic stuff.
If you're a dynasty manager, these two players, fantastic.
You were able to get these guys at the one.
two turn in your dynasty rookie draft.
And as for redraft, Bo Nix early on is sort of looked like a player is not necessarily
going to deliver, but you're starting to see what you did last year with Nix being able
to give you spike weak ability.
Jackson Dark could go down as one of the best waiver wire pickups of the season in
redraft leagues.
Sort of love where these two players are at.
What an unbelievable, unbelievable game.
And we've got to pivot over.
I was going to start out the show with this one, but Rashi Rice is back.
And there's going to be some haters out there.
They're already out there where they're going to say,
you know, Theo, let's let's pump the, pump the brakes here.
Like the guy had two touchdown catches, but he had a low yardage total.
And I get it.
But this was a game that Kansas City was completely in control.
And what's interesting is when you get with Rashi Rice here,
he had a 29% target share in his first week back, 10 targets total for Rashi
Rice in his first week back, seven catches.
for 42 yards and two touchdown grabs.
And what's notable about the two touchdown grabs
are they were right around the goal line.
So these were sort of manufactured looks for Rice.
And I think this is indicative of what Kansas City wants to do.
I think moving forward, you're going to look at Rashi Rice.
And he's essentially going to give you the PPR cheat code as a receiver,
but he's also going to be the goal line threat for the Chiefs,
where it's sort of like how Devante Adams has been used in
multiple seasons of career, including today. Devante Adams doesn't even make the top 10 reactions
here. The yardage total was low for Devante Adams. We need five catches for 35 yards, three touchdown grabs.
But you sort of think about the Devante Adams around the goal line. What a killer he is.
And I think Rashi Rice can be that where in the red zone, he's an absolute force.
You're going to get this high level target share. You're going to get Rashi Rice,
PPR cheat code. 10 targets, I think is really a nice one. And considering
Kansas City up 31 to nothing.
Finish the game basically by kneeling it out.
And Vegas ran an absurdly low amount of plays.
This was literally no contest.
Mahomes with another strong game, three touchdown passes for Patrick Mahomes,
286 passing yards.
And what was also notable is a lot of people were saying Patrick Mahomes,
the rushing production would go away when Rashi Rice came back.
It wasn't like some exceptional over-the-top rushing total.
but Patrick Mahomes giving you four carries for 28 yards, giving you around 30 rushing yards.
We'll take it.
And I think Mahomes will also be a threat here.
Kansas City, we have Rashi Rice.
We also have the backfield becoming more usable moving forward.
A couple of notable things here with this Kansas City backfield.
Kareem Hunt goes down to an injury.
And we see a big game out of Breschard Smith.
Breschard Smith with a season high, 19 touches.
Breschard Smith is going to end up the game with 13 PPR points.
So nothing like over the top.
But now you have the Breschard Smith,
Jerich McKinnon narrative is absolutely there.
We talked about it this summer on a bunch of podcasts over at fantasy points,
multiple podcasts.
My dynasty podcast is Dynasty Life,
School of Scott with Scott Barrett.
And then, of course, here at Fantasy Football,
daily. We talked about Breschard Smith in the dynasty lens, but also in the redraft lens,
about how he sort of has the pathway to Jarek McKinnon. Now it becomes a little cleaner.
You also have Isaiah Pacheco had 15 carries for 57 yards in the touchdown. Of course,
Breschard Smith, five catches for 42 yards, 14 carries for 39 yards.
Richard Smith now is the most targeted running back on Kansas City on the entire season.
very, very interesting when you look at the lack of playing time he has had.
So he's giving Kansas City another weapon.
And the targets per route run for for Richard Smith, very impressive.
He's a player when he's on the field.
Kansas City is getting the ball in his hands.
That should make you very, very excited as a fantasy manager.
And for Jamar Chase fantasy managers, we got, we got our bailout.
We got our bailout here.
We talked about it last week where last week we talked about Joe Flacco being
able to come around and sort of rescue the season for Jamar Chase managers when it was looking
so dire and so depressing with Jake Browning. But it gets even better this week. Absolutely insane game.
And the fact that Denver, New York, that game was like happened. I mean, honestly, you have to feel
kind of sorry for people that are not NFL fans after this weekend where you get this sort of
excitement in these games. A Pittsburgh Cincinnati game was not supposed to be this lit with
these two old quarterbacks behind center. It wasn't supposed to be this much fun, but it was.
It was an incredibly fun game, and it was Cincinnati coming out on top and Joe and Joe Flacco
coming out there and just rescuing things here. Joe Flacco has now made Jamar Chase into a threat to be the first
back-to-back wide receiver one overall finisher in consecutive seasons since the days of like peak
Antonio Brown. Flacco himself is absolutely viable right now on the super flex radar.
Flacco with three passing touchdowns has 342 passing yards, even had a big rush towards
the end of the game like completely out of nowhere for Flacco.
Flacco's completely locked in.
But the story is it's Jamar Chay.
And Jamar Chase is one of the best wide receivers that I've ever seen in my entire life for fantasies.
He's only 25 years old.
So you hate to use this kind of hyperbole and be this much over the top.
But I think it deserves to be said.
Jamar Chase already gave us a triple crown last year.
Well, we could call it a quadruple crown.
Shout out to the people who love targets.
Jamar Chase led all wide receivers last season in receptions, in touchdown grabs,
in receiving yards and in targets.
Jamar Chase is also a weapon of mass destruction that can put up some of the biggest
spike weeks imaginable for a wide receiver.
And now with Flacco behind center, we're sort of back there.
16 catches for 161 yards and a touchdown.
And Jamar Chase had 23 targets.
So he sets a career best with 16 catches.
16 catches is insane.
And when we look at the underlying metric,
here. In week six and seven, a little six seven, six seven out there for anybody out there,
a little in week six and seven, Jamar Chase had a 51.7 percent air yard share, a 38 percent
target share and a 50.8 percent first read rate. And that's per fantasy points data stats,
the best in the business. Jamar Chase is completely locked in. Right now he would be the best
bet with the injury situation to Pooka Nakua to be the wide receiver one overall.
And that's no shade thrown at my guy Jackson Smith and Jigba.
I talk about them here every week.
Jackson Smith and Jigba completely locked in could easily be in the mix.
But Jammar Chase is just on another planet.
And I think when it comes down to it, Cincinnati has a perfect ecosystem for this.
They have a defense that's going to give up a ton of points.
and they have an offense that's going to have to come and try to like keep up here.
And you've also got a quarterback in Joe Flacco who knows this is his last ride as a starter in the NFL.
And he gets to play with the best player he's ever played with on the offensive side of the ball.
This is the best skill position player Joe Flacco's ever played with.
He's going to hyper-target Jamar Chase.
We are locking and loading Jamar Chase in the rest of the season.
Unbelievable performance.
And I think there's more to come.
And just as another like look ahead, anytime Jamar Chase, it plays on a Thursday night,
play them in DFS because the guy just goes nuts.

We're officially on J.J. McCarthy watch. Minnesota loses to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Close game. A little more on Philadelphia coming up. But Carson Wentz, this might have been the last
game. Minnesota plays Thursday. So Minnesota is coming up.
they're playing Thursday night.
This is going to be a quick, quick decision here.
But this was a game where if Minnesota was more efficient in the red zone,
I think they would have won the game.
And I think Minnesota fans listen to this are like,
yeah, Theo, you think we would have won the game.
They would have won the game.
This is a game where they had five field goals and one touchdown.
That's not going to cut it.
That's not going to cut it in the NFC.
The NFC, there's a chance for Minnesota.
Their season's sort of at.
a crossroads here.
They have a Thursday night game against the Chargers.
Chargers are having some issues here.
Chargers lose to the Colts.
We'll talk about that in a little bit.
But Minnesota plays Thursday night.
I wouldn't be surprised if you see J.J. McCarthy against his former college head coach
in Jim Harbaugh and see if they can't just get this thing right.
Just being a little bit more efficient on touchdowns.
If they could have turned, you know, one of those touchdowns, one of those field goals into a
touchdown, then that would have been the difference in the game. So you really want to pay attention
to this one. Could be a quick turnaround with J.J. McCarthy. McArthur. And let's talk about the Philadelphia
Eagles. The Philadelphia Eagles pass attack seems to be resuscitated. And we put it on life support
earlier in the year. Like people were dropping memes on Kevin Petulow. We were talking about
Kevin Petulow just struggling. And I don't think Kevin Petulow is that great. Like, don't get this
twisted. This is not a pro Kevin Petulow argument.
but Kevin Petulow and the Philadelphia Eagles offensive passing game has got it going.
The previous two weeks, they had 280 and 283 passing yards in each game.
One of those games we can kind of take with a lot of context because it was the Eagles
trailing significantly in that one.
So kind of throw that one out there a little bit.
But this week in a close game against a Minnesota defense that hadn't been giving up
too many deep passes on the season, Jalen Hertz was fantastic.
This is one of his best passing performances all time.
He ends up with 326 passing yards and three passing touchdowns on only 23 pass attempts.
So for Jalen Hertz, this is really one of his most significant passing yard totals in quite some time.
And he completed deep passes multiple spots in the game and multiple times in the game, including the very end of the game.
Devonta Smith is the story for fantasy.
Nine catches for 183 yards and a touchdown had the very, very long touchdown grab,
which actually came on play action with Hertz under center,
something they haven't been doing all season long.
That was significant.
Maybe it's a little bit of a wrinkle.
Maybe we'll start to see that a little more.
You would think if you had Sequan Barclay,
and you had A.J. Brown and Devontah Smith,
you'd play action in a little bit more.
But hey, listen, I'm not the offensive coordinator in Philadelphia.
That's Kevin Petulow.
But we can't pick on Kevin Petulow today because for fantasy managers,
you get the Devontas Smith game, you get the Big Jailen Hertz game,
Sekewon Barkley managers, they're hurting today.
But we'll take three out of four here when it comes to the big four skill position players
in Philadelphia.
And we'll talk about A.J. Brown, because this is sort of the A.J. Brown,
I'm not going anywhere game.
And there was some rumors AJ would maybe get traded somewhere.
I had a trade rumors podcast on Dynasty Life.
I went through pretty much every single trade rumor that's out there.
You can go listen to that on the Fantasy Points and the Fantasy Points Podcast Network.
Just search for Dynasty Life anywhere you get your podcast.
I'm dropping a Dynasty podcast every week.
Some really, really good guests on that show as well.
But I had Alan Cislauski of Rotowire.
And we didn't even talk about AJ Brown being traded, but that's been out there for some reason.
I think it's more of a people sort of galaxy bringing that one.
the Super Bowl defending Super Bowl champions that are headed back to another playoffs this year.
They're not trading A.J. Brown. He's not going anywhere. But this was sort of the A.J. Brown,
I'm not going anywhere game. He had two touchdown grabs, four catches for 121 yards and two touchdown
grabs on only six targets. But it was the end of the game where Philadelphia needed a first
down and they go over the top to A.J. Brown. So A.J. Brown really, really strong performance.
Devontas Smith really, really strong performance.
Both of those guys finish as top five scorers
heading into Sunday night football in PPR scoring.
And of course, Jalen Hertz with the fantastic game,
which sort of gets overshadowed by the Bo Nix Jackson Dart spectacular,
but still unbelievably good stuff there.
Let's talk about Quinn Sean Judkins,
because we talked about this one on a number of podcasts this week over at Fantasy Points.
talked about this on School of Scott,
talked about this on Fantasy Football Daily.
I called Quinn Sean Judkins having three touchdowns,
but I don't think this was something smart on my half.
I think this is like,
we're going to use running backs against the Miami Dolphins.
The Miami Dolphins, they're hurting right now.
And I wonder if Mike McDaniel might get fired.
But if you look at the Miami Dolphins,
just how generous they've been to the running back position,
we are going to attack them every week we can
with our flex decisions.
And next week, the Miami Dolphins are in a ton of trouble
because Bejohn Robinson and the Atlanta Falcons are going to host Miami at home in Atlanta.
Bejohn might put up a 30-pointer, might put up a 40-pointer in that game.
But you have Quinshaw Judkins completely cooks the Miami defense, goes nuts today.
And if we go back, the Kamani Vidal big game in week six against Miami,
and then we go back to week five.
It was the Rico Dowdell explosion against Miami.
So that was the 200-yarder, the 200 rushing yard game.
So Miami is just getting fried every single week by opposing running backs.
It's getting really, really ugly.
Miami, of course, gives this one away.
This is a complete, complete beat down here, not even close.
It was over early.
Cleveland was putting it on them.
31 to 6, a big, big win.
for Dylan Gabriel behind center.
But we got to talk about Quinchon Judkins.
Quinshan Judkins is just an unbelievable player.
Judkins is very close now.
I mean, not very close,
but he's within striking distance of having the best season all time
for a Cleveland Browns rookie running back.
He needs seven touchdown scores
to break the Brown's rookie rushing touchdown record
after his three touchdown performance today.
He needs 638 rushing yards to set a Brown's rushing yardage total.
Would anyone want to bet against Quinchon Judkins not breaking that total?
He needs only 638 rushing yards.
He averages about 78 rushing yards a game.
And I think that number could trend up.
That's almost a given.
And he needs fewer yards than that to break some real legends here.
He's going to pass Nick Chubby with about 500.
and I think it's about 550 yards he needs to pass Nick Chubb.
And he needs fewer than that to pass Jim Brown.
And I know the Jim Brown one is more ceremonial.
Jim Brown, one of the greatest of all time.
Jim Brown only played 12 games to get like 950 rushing yards.
But obviously, Quinn Sean Jenkins is going to play more games than Brown.
So that one doesn't really count.
But it's still a significant feat to see your name passing Cleveland Brown legends
like Jim Brown and Nick Chubb with your rookie year performance.
Quinn Sean Judkins is completely locked in.
And I think it's time that we had the discussion that Judkins should be on the 2026 first round
radar in redraft leagues.
We don't know who Cleveland's quarterback is going to be next year.
But if we get some solid quarterback play, Cleveland ends up with a upgrade at the position.
I think we could talk about Quinn Sean Judkins taking a massive leap forward in year
two. Think about the journey Judkins has had here, where he's producing at this level,
despite missing all that time off the field away from the organization, he had to keep himself
in shape. Judkins was working out on his own. I mean, that's wild. I don't care if you have
the best, like, individual coaches, you know, a lot of NFL players are working with coaches off
the field. Pretty much every quarterback does. Guys are staying in shape all year long. This
This is a, this is not a get out of shape type organization.
If you get out of shape too many office seasons in a row, you're out of the game.
So like no one's questioning Judkins, a next level athlete.
But for him to be able to stay in this sort of football shape,
to be able to handle this sort of volume on his own,
think about what he's going to be able to do next year when he has a full off season
with OTAs, with training camp, with the preseason.
It's going to be a whole different ball game for Quinn Sean Judkins.
So Judkins completely locked in.
What a player, he's going to put up some incredible numbers by the end of the season historically.
Unbelievable stuff there.
Staying at the running back position, Carolina Panthers win another game.
We get Chuba Hubbard back.
So this was the big discussion all across X, all across every fantasy podcast, every fantasy article you read, is what is the split going to look like?
And I think even though there was some frustration here from Rico Daudal managers, because you did see Chuba Hubbard coming back into a significant role.
But I think this is one where you're going to look back on this one as a win because Rico Dowdle and Chuba Hubbard, first of all, Carolina wins the game 13-6.
Carolina defense played great.
The Jets are a train wreck right now.
First game without Garrett Wilson, and it showed quarterback switch mid-day.
game to Tyrod Taylor. The Jets can't do a thing. But Carolina gets by 13-6 win. Defense was really
locked in. And we see Dowdell and Chuba Hubbard both getting touches. RICO Duttle had 18
touches for 96 yards. And Chuba Hubbard had 16 touches for 55 yards. RICO Dattle just looks better.
And maybe we give a little bit of deference to Chuba Hubbard coming back off of an injury.
But we're talking about where these guys are right now.
And I think this sort of a split, you could see an even larger gap between Dowdell and Hubbard in the games to come.
I think this could shape up to be a 65-35 split in favor of Rico Dowdell.
The other thing we're going to see is we're going to see which way Carolina goes in games where they're trailing.
This is not a perfect team by any means.
Carolina is not some team that's going to be in control of every single game.
So you're going to see games where they're trailing and you're going to see those very valuable
targets out of the backfield.
I think that Rico Dowdell is a more efficient pass catcher than Shuba Hubbard.
And I think it's going to show.
And Rico Dowdell has made some very big plays as a receiver this year during his little runout.
Of course, we saw him have the big touchdown reception.
But you have the Buffalo Bills coming into Carrival.
Carolina in week eight. Bills are coming off of their by week. That's a difficult matchup for
Carolina. Carolina's been running pure with the wins recently, but you have to favor Buffalo
coming off of their by week. Teams are usually better off their buy, and let's face it,
Josh Allen is an advantage over Bryce Young on the road in Carolina. Of course, that's a huge
landmine game for Carolina to sort of show the league that they're for real. And then you have
some other games coming up around the stretch here where New Orleans in week 10, that's an
interesting one. That could be a game where Carolina is really in control. That Atlanta game in
week 11 is interesting because Carolina smoked them the first time they played. You got to figure
Atlanta's going to put a lot of pressure on them at home. Atlanta's been much better at home.
Michael Pennix has been much, much better at home this season. Then you've got a couple other
games like week 12 in San Francisco. So just looking down like where this season, you're going to
is headed. I think you're going to end up seeing more RICO Dottle. I think it's going to be
evident. And we might look at this week as like a turning point in the split. Instead of a
moment of frustration, it was a Chuba had his opportunity, but he couldn't out produce RICO
even though he got the first shot. RICO Dowdowdell's a absolute volume guy. Let's get the
ball to him. Talk about the Chicago Bears. Another team where we have to take a look at this
backfield. And I think in a lot of leagues, Kyle Monongai is going to be on waivers and he shouldn't be.
We've talked about him as a waiver wire ad on our show here on Fantasy Football Daily multiple
weeks. We really didn't go over him last week, though. Last week was sort of a just didn't talk about
him. But we've talked about him a lot as a player to add sort of with, especially if you're a
D'Andre Swift manager. But this was the first week that we saw a Ben Johnson offense. And just to add a little
context here. This was a game that Chicago was very much in control. They win the game 2614 over
New Orleans. Chris Alave really contributed to New Orleans. This game could have been an even
larger gap in terms of the final score. But you get Kyle Monong guy really coming on here. DeAndre
Swift is just on fire. Swift is producing at such a high level here where DeAndre Swift is really having
his best season ever as a pro when it comes to fantasy football.
DeAndre Swift with consecutive games with 20 or more points.
He scores 25.5 points against Washington in week six.
And then he gets 20.8 points in week seven.
DeAndre Swift right now is averaging more points per game than 2021, which is his previous
fantasy like best scoring season ever from a points per game perspective.
DeAndre Swift is completely locked in, has another podcast.
positive matchup next week against Baltimore and another positive matchup in week nine at Cincinnati.
Swift is locked in. I think you're treating him as a low end RB1 right now wouldn't be wrong.
But now you have Kyle Monongai working in and Monongai ends up having his best game ever as a pro.
13 carries for 81 yards and a touchdown also gives you two catches for 13 yards on three targets.
Menangai and Swift, sort of their production here with two backs getting, you know, high level points here, 17 points for Monongai, 20 points for Swift, sort of reminds you a little bit of, and this is point scoring, not pure talent.
Jemir Gibbs, David Montgomery.
And that model works so well for Ben Johnson, that I think we're going to see this a little bit more often where they're trying to work in two backs.
we've also got to talk about are the Indianapolis Colts the best team in the
AFC?
I mean, they might be.
The Indianapolis Colts are playing so well right now.
Just completely, completely lights out football on both sides of the ball where they're
putting so much pressure on opposing teams, both as an offense where they lead the NFL
in points per game and on defense where they're able to get pressure on opposing
quarterbacks, but it's really the offense that's putting so much pressure on opposing teams.
Jonathan Taylor is maybe the league winner right now.
We don't know if this is going to be the Christian McCaffrey or Bijon Robinson.
Like, this is a three-way race right now for the RB1 overall.
But Jonathan Taylor, another unbelievable season, he's officially this season, Sequin
Barkley. And at the end of the day, he might average more points per game than Barclay.
Taylor with three touchdown scores again this week. I mean, it's remarkable how many three
touchdown games this guy's going to have by the end of the year. He also has three receptions
for 38 yards. So Jonathan Taylor completely, completely locked in. And it's not just Taylor.
Daniel Jones, 288 passing yards, two passing touchdowns on the road. Tyler Warren with four
catches for 69 yards and a touchdown.
One of the best tight ends you could have drafted.
Michael Pittman with seven catches for 58 yards in a touchdown.
And Alec Pierce stepping up with Josh Downs missing.
Alec Pierce with five catches for 98 yards on 10 targets.
Unbelievable stuff.
The Colts are fantastic.
And in the matchup they played, got to talk about Arronday Gadsden.
Ronde Gadsden, one of the best performances we've ever seen by a rookie tight end, period.
He ends up with one of the highest yardage totals ever with 164 receiving yards by a rookie
tight end, seven catches for 164 and a touchdown on nine targets, just incredible.
17 targets his last two games played.
A Ronde Gadsden is just a unbelievable player.
Like, I don't think we need to have hyperbole here.
The fact that a Gadsden is able to come on this quickly on a team with massive target
competition putting up this sorts of numbers is just incredible.
Gadsden, I think rest of season is a top 10 tight end.
I would go higher.
But again, it's the target competition where you've got Ladd-McConkie, you got
Keenan Allen, you got Quentin, like Quentin Johnston.
And Gadsden's going to have games where he's just, just fantastic.
But like, he really is going to lower the ceiling for the other players.
Because how do you put this one away?
Gadsden looks so good, looks so explosive.
I think this is a team that's looking more and more pass happy
based on the weapons that they have every single week.
L.A. has a huge game this Thursday night against Minnesota.
What am I saying?
Minnesota Vikings on Thursday night.
Sorry, looking at these Arronday Gadsden stats.
It's actually insane when it comes to putting Gadsden in context.
When we look at his yardage total here, this is more yards in a game than we ever saw from Brock Bowers who got into the 140s, more than Sam Leporta who got into the 140s.
Gadsden is just incredible talent.
And to get him on day three, Gadsden might end up being the biggest fantasy football steel in this entire 2025 draft class.
he's going to be drafted as an easy tight end one in 2026.
And from a dynasty lens, he's going to be a challenger.
I mean, I think immediately right now he's in the top 10 tight ends in dynasty.
And usually you want to take a step back before you rank these guys and you actually put it in context.
But I think you can make a case for Ronde Gadsen to be right up there in like the top eight, top nine tight ends in dynasty.
You want to see this for a little bit larger sample size.
But he's unbelievably talented.
and he's got the profile with the high-end athleticism,
the wide receiver-like profile at the tight-end position.
And you've got Justin Herbert,
and he's attached to Greg Roman,
who's had a great deal of success with tight ends like Mark Andrews,
Jim Harbaugh, who's had a great deal of success with tight ends,
Vernon Davis when he was in San Francisco.
Just fantastic stuff from Gadsden.
Staying at the tight-end position, Tray McBride.
Trey McBride with Jacoby-Berset is ridiculous.
McBride, another smash week.
10 catches, 74 yards, and two touchdown grabs on 13 targets.
McBride is third in the NFL right now, the entire NFL, with 66 targets on the season.
Trey McBride is on pace for 160 targets this year.
He's on pace for 114 catches this year.
And if he ends up with 114 catches, he is going to challenge Zach Ertz's all-time
regular season catch record.
and when you put it into into like context with what he did last year,
Trey McBride can have the most catches in a two-year period by any tight end in NFL history on this pace.
So we got to hope that this continues with Kyler Murray.
Certainly the touchdowns with Trey McBride,
it's been an entire narrative for him that he doesn't score touchdowns.
Well, he's scoring touchdowns with Jacoby Brissette.
It's really a Kyler Murray issue when it comes to McBride scoring touchdowns.
touchdowns. I'm going to keep an eye on this one. When Kyler Murray comes back, can McBride keep up this
pace? We really, really hope so for fantasy managers who drafted him. He is an absolute target
machine at the tight end position. One of the best weapons in fantasy football when you put into
context, just how few tight ends there are that can command this level of targets. Talking about the New
England Patriots, another big win for New England. Remandre Stevenson, though, is the story. And it's
not Mondre's production, which was very good. Remandre Stevenson had a very productive game.
Stevenson put up some really strong rushing totals, ends up with 18 carries for 88 yards and a
touchdown. That's great. But the story is the gap between Stevenson and Trayvion Henderson
is not getting closer. It's actually growing between Mondre just dominating.
Remandre Stevenson with 20 touches, Trayvion Henderson only has two touches. Really
concerning stuff if you're rostering Trayvion Henderson. He's on your bench. You can't use him.
And on the flip side, if you have Remandre Stevenson, he's very much in your lineup as like an
RB2 or flex play. Very tilting stuff. And the problem for Trayvion Henderson managers is the Patriots
keep winning and they keep scoring. So there's zero pressure being put on Josh McDaniels and
Mike Vrable to get Trayvon Henderson more involved. We saw even earlier this year we're
Stevenson was coughing the ball up and having a bunch of fumbles,
and they're still not giving Trayvion Henderson that sort of volume and opportunity.
Keep an eye on this one.
Very frustrating stuff for Trayvon Henderson fantasy managers.
CD Lamb is back.
Got to talk about this one.
An unbelievable performance for CD Lamb considering the context of coming back from an injury.
I mean, Lamb looked like his usual self.
Almost all of his production was in the first half.
C.D. Lamb with five catches for 110 yards. I believe every single catch was in the first half.
So really, really pleased to see that one. Eight targets on the day, 22 PPR points. And it could have been more.
But Dallas completely steamrolled the Washington commanders. And this looks like a team that's going to continue scoring a lot of points.
We've now seen Dallas in two out of the last three games putting up 40 pointers. They had the tie against
Green Bay. Now the 44 point outing against the Washington commanders. Carolina game as well.
They put up a lot of points there. Next week in Denver, they're going to be challenged.
But just to put it in perspective here, George Pickens didn't disappear. He made a bunch of big
catches. But the target totals for George Pickens went down considerably. Six targets,
four catches for 82 yards for Pickens. Still made a bunch of very, very spectacular catches.
And you've got to think that the production for Pickens and Lamb could have been even better.
But the problem was, Dack Prescott so locked in and Jake Ferguson with seven catches for 29 yards on seven targets.
But Ferguson does come up with two touchdown grabs.
So this Dallas offense is just hitting on all cylinders.
Javante Williams also finds the end zone this week.
Really strong week for Javante.
19 carries 116 yards in a touchdown.
also had four targets but didn't do anything with them.
This Dallas offense is humming right now, putting up fantasy football points,
but the focal point of the offense is going to be C.D. Lamb,
but you can play multiple cowboys with confidence because of how poor their defense is
and because of just how much pressure they're going to put on opposing offenses to keep up
with their passing volume and their passing success and Javante Williams being very efficient
at the running back spot.
And speaking to the running back spot,
got to give a shout out to Josh Jacobs.
We had a lot of fear on Saturday evening,
Sunday morning that Jacobs could miss the game
with a calf injury.
He was also sick.
But Josh Jacobs and the Green Bay Packers,
they get the win in Arizona,
hard-fought game.
Got to talk about Jacobs, though.
Jacobs is just a usage machine,
even in a week where the production wasn't that great
in terms of yardage.
And the touches went down,
little bit. He still gets you there on the ground with important rushing touchdowns.
13 carries for 55 yards, but he gets you two rushing scores. And the guy's just a usage king.
Back-to-back weeks of 30 points or more in PPR. And now an 18.8 point week. Also talk about
Tucker Kraft, who played well, five catches for 58 yards and a touchdown, made a bunch of
clutch plays for Arizona down the stretch as well. Workman-like win. But an important
important win for the Green Bay Packers on the road in Arizona.
Got to talk about the quarterback position, and we've got to talk about our guy,
Jaden Daniels.
Not great here, really concerning.
Jaden Daniels leaves the game with a hamstring injury.
Washington is trending down in a major way.
Everyone's hurt here.
Debo missed today.
Terry McLaurin continues to miss.
And now Jaden Daniels with a hamstring injury,
Washington could sort of come crumbling down without Daniels.
They're just too banged up.
And Marcus Marriota has put up good numbers.
They've had some nice wins with Marietta behind center.
But you have to be very concerned about this one.
Jaden Daniels, one of the best quarterbacks in fantasy.
We really don't want to see him miss any games.
I just hate to see this.
We've already seen Jaden Daniels miss time this season.
We don't want to see this one.
We mentioned Justin Fields was pulled from the game and replaced with Tyrod Taylor.
this is a really one to watch because Fields, even though Fields had not been winning,
he's still been in a lot of fantasy lineups this year.
From a points per game perspective, Fields is still producing with his legs in multiple games this
year.
But the Jets are just a train wreck to avoid.
Tyrod Taylor could be behind center next week.
We're going to keep an eye on that one.
