Data Suite 2.0 is live.
This is a freaking celebration with my man, Scott Barrett,
and the architect behind the greatest football data tool ever invented.
Chris Wecht, our director of analytics.
Chris, you are a celebrity.
You are beloved in my household.
And soon you will be beloved by the world for this magnificent piece of art you have created in DataSuite 2.0.
Unbelievable success, Chris.
You are the freaking man.
I just want to pay homage to you.
And I love it because you've been along on this journey with me since the beginning.
We've basically left our other places of employment to do this together.
And here we are.
This is awesome.
Congratulations.
Thank you.
I mean, yeah, I feel like I've dreamed about this for weeks, months now.
And like even as far back is when, you know, you and I started working together.
and like what what we envisioned a data product all the way down to how we chart a single play and where how we should chart like all of that time and and you know mistakes we made along the way and tweaks we've done be like oh we should have done it this way like this is this is the culmination of all of it and it's like this this is what we envisioned this is what I built this to the tool that I always would want if I was you know a fantasy football player sports better just an NFL junkie whatever you want you want you
to do it like there's something for anybody here and I hope and now I hope everybody uh
likes it and gets to try it and gets their hands on it and all that stuff well was super cool too
oh sorry Scott do you want to go or you want me to go yeah yeah yeah I just want to take a beat here
yeah this this really was almost entirely Chris Wecht and I think that's kind of unbelievable
when you factor in like our competition are teams of like a dozen devs and
with over $100 million in funding and we're so relatively small in comparison.
And it was really just like we had this vision, this dream that we've held on to for a really long time.
Chris, you know, became an expert in vibe coding.
And, you know, so we built this thing.
And, you know, along the way, it's like, hey, you know, I'm in the comments, the recommendation section.
And I'm just like, hey, this is dope.
What if we could do this?
It's like, I don't know if that's possible, but let me try.
try. And we just did that over and over and over again. And so like we had D-Bro on and he said,
bro, you're going to put some major data companies out of business. And like, I want to be clear,
that's that's not our intention. That's not why we did this. It's really just like,
we just want to build cool shit. We just want to impress each other. Like Chris, you know,
Chris is like, hey, you know the thing you've been asking for for 18 months?
It exists now.
No way.
That's so, let me, oh my God, this is amazing.
And so it's really just like making our lives as content creators so much better.
It's like, bro, fantasy points data would never would have existed if we weren't using
and paying a lot of money for a three letter company's data and finding out that, you know,
all their data was wrong.
They don't even know how to chart a slot wide receiver.
It was embarrassing.
And so it's like, hey, I think I could do this better.
And that's just what it's been every step of the way is, I think I can do this better.
And I think, I think Chris really proved here that that's exactly the case.
Like the people who have have demoed it or beta tested it, who would know are saying,
this is on par with what the NFL teams are using.
And it's with $200 with a 15% off code, code DS2, it's $170 a year.
It's literally one one thousandth the price that these media companies pay, these NFL teams pay.
And if you want to play around with it yourself, go to fantasypointsdata.com.
It's not currently on the fantasy points.com site.
It will be very shortly the link at least.
But fantasy points data.com is if you're a current fantasy points data subscriber, that's how you gain access.
If you're not, go to fantasy points.com, navigate to our plans page, use code DS2, and purchase a subscription
today. So we're going to get into the nitty gritty and demo tools. First, we'll hold on,
hold on, hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Look at I got here. Should I pop it? Yeah, go ahead and pop it.
I'll talk while you're getting that open. Doesn't even have a cork. It's the cheapest bottle they had.
It's probably a cork top. Yeah. So, so listen this what I loved about this process of, of,
oh, look at that. Very nice. Congratulations. Cheers. It truly was a collaborative process. Chris is
for sure the architect and Chris built it from the ground up.
But what was really fun about the process was like the amount of people that were involved talking about kind of their dreams and visions for a tool.
Ryan Heath was involved.
Graham Barfield.
How many times Chris would I just call you and be like, hey, can we do this?
And you'd make it happen.
So it was really freaking awesome.
Other people that deserve credit too, though, the charting team.
Guys, the charting team.
If Chris is my right hand, Stephen Rourke is my left hand.
Steve deserves a ton of credit.
Troy Moore, Scott D. Bededadetto, Mike Taylor, Christian Tile, Andrew Spalding, Eric Guzman, Eli
Dancin, Eric Ridley, Mario Cardona, Zach Swales, Damien Cook, Alfonso Mercado, Cliff Kenny, Bill O'Brien,
Tyler Mueller, and then we just hired 20-plus new people. So they deserve a ton of credit.
This data wouldn't even exist without this team behind the data suite. So, yeah, and let's not lose
side of that. You know, we never had the sexiest UI, U.S. or interface. It wasn't the fastest. Now I
really think it is, but the entire time, we've always had the best data. We were really sticklers
for accuracy. We were obsessive. We were anal. We were perfectionists. And, you know, I think that,
you know, that really paid dividends for us this offseason where Ryan Pagnetti, a former NFL
director of analytics, he was like, hey, I want to go to the content
creator route. I need access to the best data. So let me try out PFF. Let me try out SIS.
Let me try out this fantasy, this company that has fantasy in the URL. And he collected all
the data. He opened up his NFL Pro subscription, watched the tape. He looked for, you know,
instances where the data was inaccurate versus accurate. He was like, hey, I could say
definitively having used the data provider NFL team.
teams paid six figures for, fantasy points data is better, is more accurate. So it's not just the
most accurate data. It's now also just the cleanest user face that allows you to do like literally
exponentially infinitesimally more than what any of these other companies are out there. And
again, it's like it's only $200 without a promo code. It's 170 with the like I was saying like
that's like stupid. Like I'm an idiot CEO.
doing that. But it's just like, again, like, what are we trying to do here? It's like all we've
ever wanted to do or be is just be the best, sickest, coolest football site in the world. And so
that allows us to do this. And I hope you guys really appreciate it. But go ahead.
I'll say one last thing, Scott, you deserve a ton of credit. As the CEO of the company, you're the
ultimate visionary. And the thing I love about you most is that you're always calling us to a higher
standard. Data Suite 1 was awesome. Data Suite 1 broke things and changed the game, but it wasn't
enough. It didn't satiate. You wanted more. You knew there was more and you, that's how you run the
entire company. Always a higher call to excellence. The standard you said is so high. I think Chris
appreciates that about you. I know I do. And this is the result. We get something like this.
I don't know that Chris does. I feel like every fantasy points employee that they're like,
tell me about your boss.
Well, he's a psychopath.
But, and then they say a bunch of nice things, but like, you got to lead on.
Yeah, I overly ambitious to a fault, but I mean like, bro, look at everything we've done
this offseason.
It's like honestly mind blowing.
It's Data Suite 2.0.
It's the front office.
It's the site redesign.
It's like seven other things.
And so just huge shout out to the entire team because it wouldn't have been possible
without every single employee who stepped up in a major way.
Too many people to name right here.
But yeah, couldn't be any prouder of the fantasy points team.
Awesome. All right. Let's dive in. Chris, you're going to, we're sharing your screen. You're going to walk us through DataSuite. Remember, this is Fantasy Football Daily live on the Fantasy Points YouTube, breaking down Data Suite 2 as DS2 as I call it. Chris, go ahead and steer the ship. Yeah, so we'll start just what people are somewhat familiar with. Like this is kind of like what the advanced passing table looked in Data Suite 1. But I just want to, we're not going to spend time talking about all the like certain columns and everything. Just more of like some of the new.
features that you can do now.
So you can go multi-season now.
So like if you want to do last three years, yeah, just add them stuff just updates.
And I'm going to take these off just so that I could show some other stuff a little
quicker.
One of Scott's like best ideas that I thought was actually crazy.
And then he, you know, he came up with and I was like, I don't know if that'll work,
but like, hey, let's try something.
He came up with this idea.
that we be able to basically create any column that you want.
So for example, like, let's say you wanted to know the percentage of dropbacks where the
QB actually throws the ball.
You now can just calculate columns.
So we're going to take attempts and divide by dropbacks.
We'll do it as a percentage.
Add the column.
And there, you can just see in a second, like, what percentage of dropbacks that QB actually
throws the ball on.
You could do that with filters on and everything else.
you if you're like a data nut you can just you can do you can basically rebuild this entire table
in a way that you want and then the beauty of that is so you can then save the view and disgusting
just call it a test view whatever so the next time you come back if i just come back here
and just load the view it'll just come back and you can do that with filters on and everything
else. So you know, you want to save just first and second downs. I really want to highlight the
significance here is like you look at a competitor like PFF and it's like, oh, okay, wow, they have
we have 130 stats. We have literally like infinity stats. All the filters, all the split options,
now you can invent your own stats. And that's huge for me. It's like I literally never use Excel
anymore. Like if you were never an Excel wizard, like this is amazing for you because you don't
have to learn Excel. You could just never leave the data suite. You'll see later on it we you could
pull up charts and create your own custom charts in the data suite as well. Yeah, why don't you
this invented stat you could also maybe throw a qualifier on it, show conditional formatting to
pretty it up, make it look a little more obvious who's good, who's bad by whatever invented
stat you rolled with yeah so a couple other like new like you're talking like visual things you can
do so by default like tables like this will load with totals but you can toggle to per game views
you want to do percentile views just rank views all just click of the button um yeah so you were
mentioning so it's you you get a player view a team offense view a team defense view and then for all
the stats you're looking at you can see it on a per game basis a percentile rank you can see it on
rank and so it's like oh Matthew Stafford was 99th percentile in hero throw rate he ranked
14th in turnover worthy throw rate he ranked sixth in air yards per game you could do it all and again
there's a billion filters and split options there's even more than we had in data suite 1.0
literally a billion like yeah yeah literally it's you know you can't even count it it's just
yeah if there's one criticism I have for ourselves on this it's that it's that it's
it's almost too much for like the average fan right like they're going to come in and be like whoa
i need like i take a class on how to use this thing well which is what we're giving you right now
mention it but is any time you go into one of these pages the first time or if you just click top right
you get a a free tutorial and i like highly recommend that i know like the instinct especially in today's day
and age is just to exit out of that but it's like 30 seconds of your time and you're going to level up
it's like it's like taking a PhD course but it only takes you 35 seconds and like you're going to be
so glad you put in that extra effort.
Scott,
you want to answer this question from John here?
Should I just get Data Suite for weekly DFS contents or should I get Fantasy Pro?
I would do the latter.
If you're going to be playing DFS, we have amazing DFS content.
We had the most accurate DFS projections in the industry last year.
And like that's not surprising to me.
When you have the best data and it's exclusive to you, you should have the best projections of the industry.
When you have a legendary genius like Chris Wecht, you should have the best.
Or Brett's film expertise, the best injury expert in the game.
Shout out Jeff Mueller.
And so, yeah, I could not be.
This is really what I think sets us apart from all the other companies.
It's like they all took on VC funding, private equity.
they need to, you know, give their shareholders returns ASAP, whereas like fantasy points,
all the owners are legendary fantasy football content creators. And they'd all rather have the best
site in the world than the second best site and be 50% richer. And so like I think you see that
flow through kind of everything we've ever done. Also, if you're not already subscribed,
check out our DFS channel on YouTube, Graham Barfield, Ryan Heath, among others will be
producing a ton of great content over there and you do not want to miss that.
All right. What are you doing? What are you doing right now, Chris?
We're going to look up.
Jared Goff's splits by season and play callers because now we have coaching data in here now.
So that's an important point. If you want to see it on a week by week basis or a season by season basis,
you need to use our splits functionality for season or week.
Yeah. So like right where we're adjusting the view isn't perfect here just because this,
you know, this is on stream yard. It looks a lot cleaner, better on the site.
Yeah, yeah. But you get the idea. You can now split by all right, so Ben Johnson,
um, over those seasons. You can then do, um, you can just pick like, hey, I just want to see,
um, I don't know. You, I'm going to see Trevor Lawrence with only Liam Cohen or only or what he
was like with Doug Peterson or whatever, you know, some of these QBs that have had multiple
coaches over the years. Bryce Young with Canales versus, I'm blanking on whoever he had before
Canales now. Frank Reich, was it? No. Yeah, right. Yep. Okay. Exactly. So you can do coaching
stuff. There's injury stuff in here. So if you want to filter for, I would just want to see
how, you know, Mike Evans performs when he's listed questionable. You could, you
just filter for when he's listed questionable.
You could do it by last practice status.
You could do it for a specific body part.
So you want to know.
Yeah.
I don't know.
What's a notable one?
Hamstring for him.
Yeah, but I'm trying to think of a QB one just because we're on the TV page.
So like maybe, so let's look at like Tua or something.
Let's,
to it with his concussions.
Did he never have?
You have Goff searched.
Not too.
Oh, you're right.
Yeah.
So wait a second, two for sure had concussions.
Yeah, it's not split by season.
Maybe he never did.
Maybe he always came off the injury report with a concussion.
So this would be like if he was listed with it right at the time.
Hmm.
You can pull a Baker Mayfield all of his various injuries.
Yeah.
Yeah, that's too.
One of the fun components of this too, guys,
is we're going to be adding stuff all the time.
This thing is super agile the way Chris built it.
So like, for example, we have a bunch of individual defensive metrics coming that when week one game start getting played, we'll start adding new tools in here like right away.
Oh, we have some O line, D line specific things, pressure rates, some run scheme stuff that's additional to what we already had.
Like there's a lot that we'll just keep adding.
But I'm excited for the individual defensive metrics.
I know a lot of people have been asking for that for a while.
Yeah.
So here's a player page.
This is what people have been asking for for years, and I really think we did this better than any other player page I've seen.
Yeah, so you'll every, every position kind of has a little bit different of a player page.
They're generally look similar.
So like quarterbacks, you'll get a bunch of QB-based stats.
You could see like where they target stuff by position, by alignment.
And then you can get basically those full advanced, you know, if it's a quarterback, those advanced passing tables are basically in here now.
And you could see all his entire season, his game log for the season that you have selected.
You could see his routes targeted and like some stats associated with that.
Field area and some other stuff.
Yeah, so here's the full advanced catalog.
You could see his most similar QB seasons to whatever, again, whatever season you have selected.
We'll show a little bit more about there.
And then like what Scott was saying, like you could see his injury history by weeks, like what he came in with.
and all that stuff too what about referee data Chris we gonna get that eventually
maybe I know Scott's an ass team for that one for a while I don't have not done
referee data yet um all right so this is a player page what about team pages play
caller pages coaching pages matchup pages let's do let's do a coach page so there's
like coaching tables so under here or let's do let's do the play caller stat ones
Um, this one was built very much.
So here's like what, uh, the welcome type tour that's not mentioned earlier.
So like it'll basically walk you through the entire table of like thing, you know, stuff you can do and all that stuff.
I'll skip it right now.
Um, but yeah, highly recommend clicking through that when you land on a page you haven't been on before.
Um, so this table was very much created in the vision of that Ryan Heath article article that came out recently about play caller stuff and like some of the edges teams aren't taking advantage.
of highly recommend checking that out if you have not read that so you could see a bunch of
efficiency type hacks like early down passing second and long runs which are bad
running into heavy boxes passing versus base defense play action rates stuff like
that but then you can also you know I want to see specifically Sean McVe
stuff type stuff you can land on this coaching page disgusting you see a bunch of stuff
stuff here, usage type stuff, personnel's, position targeting, stuff like that.
Specific stats, situational play calling stuff, what do they do on first and 10 compared to league average.
And a lot, basically everything in here, like if you're like not sure what something is, like all the column headers have descriptions.
They'll tell you what they are.
Like I don't know what this little line is.
You could just kind of hover here and I'll tell you what it is.
You could see league average stuff so you know like what is high versus low versus certain coverages.
You could filter.
So McVeigh has always been the play caller.
So he's not really a good example of this.
But if you want to see like what his stats are when he was like a head coach versus a play caller, you could pick kind of what his role is.
And then if he's a defensive minded coach, like, so that won't be on this page.
I'll have to go to the other one.
like Mike McDonald's, you'll get more defensive type stuff.
So you could see it shows like EPA play pro loud, pressure rates, pass rushers, stuff like that.
So it kind of caters to, so also the position page, the player pages and the coaches pages both kind of cater to what that guy does on the field.
What was the other one we're going to look at?
So you can also get like team pages.
We'll do the Jaguars.
So again, you'll get, you know, a lot of all this data is, is 2025 data right now, obviously.
But you can see offense, defense stats for a team, EPA per play by week, situational stuff for the team, personnel mix, defense coverage mixes, stats for the defense, game log.
There's, yeah, we could spend, we could spend this entire stream just walking through like one of these pages, if we want.
but there's a ton of stuff that we want to show anything else with specific like team coach or player pages you guys want to look at right now well like the one where it shows like you're looking at a team defense and it shows the quarterbacks they faced in order uh you know what i'm talking about
sc scott you're muted i believe is that the fantasy points allowed tool you're talking about no but you can you can route it that way as well what about the matchup pages chris yeah so every
every game so both pre and post game will have a matchup page so right now this is set for 2026 week one
this is the Thursday night game so these matchup pages basically are built all on top of fantasy points data
so all behind the scenes it's doing you know math and stuff to tell you just like right from the
get go first thing you see hey here's the top matchup edges from an analytical standpoint so for example
you know we kind of saw this in the super bowl last year
Seattle had the number one run defense last year, New England's rushing offense, number 27th.
That's a big edge for Seattle.
The zone runs were a big edge for Seattle.
Heavy personnel.
This is specifically 13 personnel, but New England was good at defending 13 personnel.
Seattle doesn't use it a ton.
It's not more of an edge for New England.
So right off the bat, it'll tell you that.
Then you can pick like your stats window.
So like right now, you're seeing 2025.
If you click 2026, it's not going to show anything because there is no 2026 data yet.
But you could pick the last five games, last 10 games, and all of this data will update based off of the stat window that you want to pick.
You can see fantasy points per game allowed by positions.
Just like certain players, like the most important players for the team, you can see some data on them.
I'll come back to them in one second.
Some coaching matchup stuff.
So like Mike Frable is one and two versus new.
versus Seattle.
You can see some play caller type stuff.
Seattle has a new offensive coordinator that doesn't have any data yet.
Otherwise, he would appear right here.
And yeah, just a bunch of other matchup-based stuff, situational type stuff.
So, like, if you wanted to preview a game, like, you just care about Seattle's your favorite team.
You just wanted to know more about their matchup this week.
This page basically has everything you would need to know about their upcoming matchup
and like things to look out for and stuff like that.
One thing I'll point out really quick, too, is we, in the, over the past few years, we've provided certain broadcasters on certain networks with a lot of their prep for their games that they're calling.
And that was a lot of manual labor.
This tool has just completely replaced all the manual labor.
We just basically screenshot this and send.
And now their weekly prep is done.
It takes literally four seconds.
Yep.
So what's then, go ahead, Chris.
Well, I was going to say then when you're in here, say you wanted to know,
all right, like, but what about Drake May specifically?
Like, what does this matchup look like for him?
You can just click him, and you can do this with any player, by the way.
You don't have to go this route.
And you could go here from his player page as well.
Yeah, exactly.
So you'll immediately get kind of like top five edges right here.
Just like here's where Drake May wins.
He's good versus cover one.
Seattle uses it about middle of the pack.
Something like man, defense, he's good against.
But Seattle is also good against it.
So it's highlighting it as it's a strength versus strength.
We don't really know if this is good or one side's going to win this matchup.
Or maybe it'll just kind of fizzle out and be average for both.
You can see where Seattle's defense wins versus him.
He's not very good versus cover two and they're very good against it, stuff like that.
And then you can see like all the specific stuff.
If like anything isn't mentioned up here, you could see, you know, all the coverages, disguised coverage, single high, two high, play action, RPO's, you know, press,
pass rush type stuff with pressures blitz stunts um since he's a qb you'll see some design running
stuff some qbs that won't matter for scrambling all that stuff um and again this would depending on the
position you picked um it'll change kind of how that page looks so if we wanted to look at um romeoves
so you'll see more receiving based stuff a lot of coverage stuff uh defensive personnel
stuff like that. Yeah, it'll focus on receiving numbers and not passing numbers. And a running
back would do more rushing stuff with some receiving stuff as well. Yeah. So my worry here on this is like,
dude, Chris is the utmost power user on the utmost power user. So I worry like the layman, the average
fan is like, all right, this is like, you know, above my pay grade, right? This is tough for me to figure
out, it's overwhelming. Let me tell you, like all the simple stuff, it does amazing. And like,
the more you play around with it, the smarter you're going to be. I really think with this and the
level of data it has, it's going to lead to an analytics revolution throughout the industry,
where fans become smarter, more equipped. I think content creators are going to level up in a major
way. It's never been easier to do your job, do it well, do it exceptionally, do that quickly.
but is there one last tool you want to demo here, Chris,
or you want to hand it off to me to start peppering you with questions
and keeping you on the hot seat?
Before we transition, Chris,
while you're thinking of something to show,
congrats to John Leposa.
He went and just bought a sub.
We answered that question.
Another question here from Chris Sky.
Scott, do you want to give them an answer here?
What's the all-in price?
So head on over to fantasy points.com,
slash plans.
And you can use code DS2.
You could use code Exodia for 15% off.
And so our fantasy bundle is $499 per year.
That includes redraft, DFS, Data Suite 2.0.
It includes college football package.
And then if you also want our betting package,
that's $175 a month.
that's an extra add-on.
And so that's technically everything.
But you could also go a la carte if you only want redraft and you don't want DFS,
but you do want the data suite.
You know, that's that's $60 plus $200 and then 15% off the whole thing there.
Another quick question here.
How quickly will the data be updated for the 2026 season?
Great question.
Sean.
It kind of comes in tiers.
So Sunday night, we get a lot of base data out as the games are finishing.
the advanced charted data, like 90% of it will be ready and available Monday morning,
usually between 10 and 11 a.m.
And then we have other tier separation stuff comes in Monday night,
some new O-line, D-line features.
We have individual defense stuff will be Tuesday morning.
But everything that we do will be done no later than like 10 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Yeah, one quick point on that.
We obviously haven't been able to test this with new data yet.
So we're going to be working out the kinks there.
Because of that, we're leaving data suite one up in the meantime because we know that process works and everything else.
But yeah, we're expecting data update here more or less on the same timeline and should get more efficient as the season goes on.
Yeah, so I want to show this one more tool because I think this is one that people will.
This is a brain melter.
My goodness.
Yeah, it's been around the industry in some form, I think.
But like now it's just backed by fantasy points data.
So you can search for like any game and any turt stat combination you want to look at and pull it from fantasy points date to history.
So what I put in here is let's find any time a player is thrown for more than 450 yards but was sacked over 10% of the time.
So it's going to apparently only once.
And it was in 2022 with Kirk Cousins.
He threw for 460 yards and was sacked on 11% of his dropbacks.
But you could do basically any combination of this stuff.
Yeah, to Bruce, go to FantasyPointsdata.com.
There's not a link for it to be on FantasyPoints.com right now, but just go to FantasyPointsdata.com.
You can access Data Suite 2.0 right now today, this very second.
Yep.
If you have a data sub, it is good.
Just use you to log in from your data sub or any sub that includes data.
And you'll be good to go.
Oh, there's only been one quarterback game where a QB had a negative EPA per dropback and threw for 450 yards.
So you can do like I feel like I could have guessed who it was to.
I remember that game vividly, actually.
That was the Jerry Judy 240 yard game or something like that.
Yep.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So you can do any kind of stack combinations.
You can also do it on a season level.
So like if you want to search for, I don't know.
I want to put you on the hot seat, Chris.
That's what I want to.
Okay.
I want to put you in the Thunderdome.
This is a stat for Brett Whitefield.
What stats does Caleb Williams rank bottom two in over the last two years among all quarterbacks with 600 plus pass attempts?
And so where do you go to?
Okay.
That's where you go.
We're going to go to advance pass.
You said 600, right?
Yeah.
And so you just hover over the column to put in the-
Oh yeah, we didn't show this.
You can slice the columns now really fast.
And so there's 20, you see on the bottom,
well you see at the top there's a league average row,
which is really helpful.
At the bottom, you see how many qualifiers there are 28 players.
And so I want to see what he's bottom two in.
What's the easiest way to show that?
Oh, yes, we got here and then we could throw on rank
And we can just, we'll just sort by name, make it a little easier.
Highlight.
I'll highlight Caleb here.
So he's dead last in completion rate.
Yep.
He's dead last in success or second worst in success rate.
Second worst in sackyards lost.
Now the accuracy metrics.
Uh, he's,
second last first read.
He's last in catchable throw rate.
He's second worst and off target throw rate.
And second worst in,
QB sacks.
So I feel like the Vince McMahon meme as we went through that everyone is like my eyes getting bigger and bigger.
This is the Madden cover boy.
And this is this is what Brett's damn.
Brett was right all along says motion man.
Trey.
Um,
all right.
Here's the next one for you.
How many fantasy points per game does Jemir Gibbs average in games without David Montgomery?
Ooh.
All right.
So this is a tool we haven't shown off yet.
Um, yeah, another banger.
There's so many this stream could on a.
honestly last eight hours if we wanted it to bro i would do this so much faster than you and you built
it what's going on you're not good under pressure i think you're like jared off i don't want to i
don't want to go too quick want to make sure hey um all right so we're doing we're doing all right so
we're going to go to detroit this is the game splits tool so there's kind of two versions of this tool this
one is career stats by the way okay we're doing career stats okay um the game splits tool lets you split by
a number of different things.
The question that Scott came up with is we want to look at Jemir Gibbs.
We're going to choose the player snaps, and we're going to look at Montgomery.
And we're going to go on the view here is going to make this a little funky.
Okay.
I'm going to expand this out real quick.
All right.
So there we go.
So it's 2021 to 2025.
you can now quickly split by Jemir Gibbs in games with Montgomery when he played less than one snap.
You can help that snap number if for some reason you want to cut out games or he may have only played like five snaps or something.
But yeah, so you pretty quickly see that Jemir Gibbs without Montgomery averages 27 fantasy points per game to 19 with Montgomery.
Then you could see kind of broken down by a bunch of different stats.
how often he hit certain fantasy point buckets,
his best and worst games,
and specific game logs too.
You can click on.
But yeah.
Okay, let's see.
I'm worried about Drake London
and Atlanta's quarterback room.
I see Drake London by quarterback.
Yep.
So again, same tool here.
So we're just going to go to Atlanta.
By the way, the crazy thing is
this is the slow it's ever going to be.
We launched it literally 10 minutes before this stream,
and we have a million people on it right now,
geeking out over it.
So if anything, this is probably slower than it's going to be in season.
Yep.
So as I did was, again, didn't change the time filter.
Drake London, but you could see you could split by coach player snaps,
which is what we did for the Gibbs Montgomery,
and then starting QB, which is what I just did,
analyze that.
And now you can see, so you get Kirk Cousins, Desmond Ritter,
Marriota, Pennix.
Click on Pennix.
Click on Pennix and let's see the game mug there, actually.
This is kind of crazy.
This is honestly a crazy stat.
He sucked with every quarterback and went nuclear with Pennick.
So hope he comes back.
Hope he comes back relatively soon.
Doesn't sound like they have much faith in to us.
The speed in which you can do this research now is just insane.
Yeah.
This is just crazy.
All right.
I'm going to give you a Brett Whitefield stat.
He stat mugged me on our show live.
I couldn't believe it.
uh kansas city were they better off with or without rishi rice on the field over the last three years
by epa per play EPA per dropback so that's the the other version of this tool i was
mentioning the on-off splits tool so this will specifically look at when players are on or off the
field not just playing or not like we were doing uh so kansas city how far how many
years back to you want to three or just go back from yeah his first ever that's fine
i see they run that's cool hopefully scott checked my work on this dank stat i did i also check
if it holds true for games mahomes missed and it it does so they're actually a worse offense
with rshaith so he had that ppr scam role and that's the thing is like it wasn't even a role that
helped the team so like yeah i he's the most fragile play
player to me like this is one of our biggest disagreements Chris for your projections really high on
him and I hate to tell to you but you're wrong and I'm right I'm much lower on machine rice
as you can tell by this stat um all right I've got another one for you well can we talk about this
summary really quick so when you do a split like this it gives you like a little verdict bubble
that kind of summarizes what you're probably looking for I think that's super cool it's
very intuitive who leads uh green bay in yards per route run the last two years with romeo dobs off
the field i know the answer but i won't say that loud so same tool you're saying same tool uh
last two years that's fine you did three years but that's fine that's go that's fine yeah um
so you'll get this at the top still but if you scroll down here to this team shares section i don't
see yards for route run what the heck don't worry we can fix that oh oh teaser some
There's some other stats in here.
So Scott specifically mentioned, let's turn that one off too.
So I just turned on left target share and yards per out run on.
But like you could see, there's some other ones in here you could pick.
So basically, Dubs was on the field for 2,293.
And then you could see the split for every single player.
So some of these you can disregard, like the small sample,
Tagara's Josh Weil, Patrick Taylor.
the ones you want to probably pay attention to is the jaden reed and tucker craft so let's
but i didn't ask who's better i asked who leaves in yards per route run oh oh oh you want to just know
in general okay it's jaden reed then still 2.74 Tucker craft all the way up there at 2.4
tucker craft i think was like nearly over three um all right i get another question for you
Chris.
Try it again.
2.81.
That's crazy.
And Christian wants it 2.72.
Who were the best rookie ask gods last year, Chris?
Okay.
All right.
So we did not prep this at all.
So shout out to Chris for being on the house.
So I feel like I'm taking an exam right now.
I don't know what's going on.
You're taking an exam on the tool you built.
All right.
So we're in advance receiving now.
Looks very similar to the old advance receiving.
So Scott wants to see rookie.
He's on or no, no, no, no.
Yeah, he's screwed out.
Yeah, I messed up.
We're going to go to ask guys.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Alignment's fine.
Any of those.
Just 2025?
Yeah, rookies.
You want to rookies.
So you have this player tab here now, which, so this filter section looks very
familiar to most people if you've been in Data Suite 1.
This is the main difference is there's this player tab on most pages now.
There's also a search.
far right above it. So if you're struggling to find the stat, you don't remember where it is.
You can just type in.
Right. So I could, for example, type in or, oh yeah, it doesn't work for the player one,
because there's not as many there. But what Scott was looking for basically is this rookie thing.
You could also just enter years of experience if you wanted a certain number of years of
experience. Apply the filter. Sort by separation. We'll throw a minimum on here.
75 or something. Oh, you're going to 50. Yeah, that's good.
certain Luther burden number I assumed he wanted to lose I thought that's who he was trying to get in there so I'd drop it a little bit
I appreciate it I appreciate it uh yeah so you could you could filter for rookies age certain colleges draft rounds draft years all the
combine combine measurements combine metrics yep yep yeah can we actually see uh best ask for receivers who run sub 4 3 over the last five years
or just yards per round let's do that
Yards per route run, receivers who run sub 4.
Don't mess with my flow, Brett.
I mean, I got a lot of questions I want to hit on.
We got questions from the loyal listeners as well that we want to get to.
So don't mess with my flow, please.
I got a grace that.
What's that, Chris?
You said four, four point O.
Is that what you said?
4.340 looking for yards per route, right?
Oh, yeah, that would be.
Last five years, I think you said.
Yeah, just the whole.
So last year there was those four.
You got that route threshold on there still.
How low do you want it?
Let's do like 600.
Oh, yeah.
It was only two.
Wow.
Crazy.
In fantasy points data history anyway.
Yeah, yeah.
They both play for Kansas City.
Go figure.
All right, Scott, you get back to your flow.
All right.
I love this set.
I think the set is incredible.
You know me.
I'm a big truther of this guy.
Who is the top offensive play caller
over the last five years combined by EPA per dropback.
So who had the best passing game in football,
or the architect of the best passing game last five years,
maybe throw a game qualifier on there, let's say 20 games,
so a guy had to be a play caller for two seasons,
EPA per dropback.
Oh, will you look at that?
Well, you look at that as Kyle Shanahan, number one.
Hey, where's Sean McVeigh?
Where's supposed goat, Sean McVeigh?
Oh, 14th?
with Jared Goff and Matthew Stafford.
Meanwhile, Kyle Shanahan, the true goat,
his quarterbacks were Mr. Irrelevant,
Brock Purdy, Jimmy Garapolo, who stinks,
Trey Lance, who's worse than that,
Josh Jobs, who's worse than that.
And he's number one?
I think that's the goat play caller, folks.
Scott's script is strictly just to get some of his takes over.
It's just...
Particularly realizing.
Which defense gave up the most EPA
pay per run to opposing quarterbacks last year.
Ooh.
Oh, okay.
Nope.
Oh, maybe you can do it.
Maybe you can do it this way.
Yeah, no, no.
I think, I think I know what you're.
There are many pathways to the dark side of the force.
So you see here the positions.
Those are actually, that's actually something new for us.
And so you could just click out of running back wide receiver,
pullback, tight end, and sort by EPA.
run and again you could highlight the row Chris if you struggle to find it but see you see
fewest or most or yeah that'll be the bills had the most okay I got another good one you
haven't should enough you know that Texans one's kind of crazy though yeah wow I think it's
just because they're good everywhere that I don't know all right who was the most targeted cornerback
last year and was that or was that not because of racism and the way i want you to answer that is by
clicking on is by sorting by targets and then conditional formatting on EPA per targets
awkward pause let me turn the highlight off there we go well you look at that why
why was why was riley moss so heavily targeted when his EPA per target was so good his passer rating
getting allowed is so good.
Gee, Scott, I wonder why.
His yards for target.
It's because he's, he's not racism, folks.
It's because he's, Patrick Certaine is the best cornerback in football.
So there's, there's tool filters for races.
Okay, okay, cornerback stats.
We got cornerback stats, folks.
Who is the only wide receiver to hit double digit fantasy points against Patrick Certain's coverage last year?
Oh, I think I pulled this not that long ago.
All right.
Let's do.
Shadow index.
This is huge for D-Bros primer.
This is huge for Mike Clay's wide receivers versus cornerbacks.
Like Alec Pierce or something.
A fantasy point.
Oh, is that wrong?
Oh, he said fantasy points?
No, no, no, no.
You're right.
You got to do when he shadows, basically.
No, you don't have to do that.
Just any production again.
against Patrick Sertain last year.
Lined up across maybe.
Oh, yeah.
So you can do it by how often they lined up across him or versus like when he is the.
Well, you just click on production.
Fantasy points right there.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's what I was talking about.
Scary.
Gary.
All right.
Okay.
I got to go on.
Who is this is kind of an open-ended, tricky one.
You need to be a little creative.
Who is Cincinnati's best run blocking offensive linemen in last year?
Okay.
This is a tricky more.
You don't think this is a tough one?
No, it is a tough one.
No, it's not.
I think you probably did went through here.
So this is the run gap tool.
So you can see basically team breakdowns by run gaps.
You could do entire teams.
Or you could pick specific players, whatever you want to do, certain situations.
So I think.
it's pretty clearly their left guard yeah dylan fairchild he was a rookie last year honestly
should have got some offensive rookie of the year votes it was excellent in run blocking uh i think he
only gave up two sacks all year and he got hurt on on the one play so really only one sack all year
okay right who was who is who is the worst defense at defending tight ends by fantasy points per
game that's an easy one so fantasy points allowed tool the bengals we had a version of this
in data suite one um just filter for tight end it's obviously going to be the bingles
like i see who the the top scorer against them was is that easy to do you could just click the row
and yep you can sort by that close and lovely wow half for iron mode two hunter henry three
move killed them geez yeah okay i want to know how many fantasy points per game
did Devante Adams average last year when he wasn't on the injury report listed questionable
or doubtful okay uh i actually kind of don't know this one i think it's advanced receiving and
injury splits yeah you say on the practice report
game designation is that questionable yeah questionable so that one whatever all right so you can see
You get injury status, knows that is a nation versus questionable.
Fantasy points per game, 17 when he's not, 11.3 when he is questionable.
Okay.
That's crazy, by the way.
Seems like a good value.
How many games did Jacoby Brissette finish as a fantasy QB one last year?
Hmm.
So I'll probably do this in our weekly reports.
So you can basically do get weekly, you know, basically a table that's 1 through 18.
You can include the playoffs if you want.
And pretty much any stat you could need is in here.
So you said fantasy points.
So we'll just do fantasy points.
And then you'll want the rank view.
Yep.
Let's turn just QV on.
There you go Tricobi.
So we got working backwards.
We got...
One, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten.
So basically 10 and 12 starts.
14. All right. What about what was the longest consecutive game streak for Troy Franklin beating out
Cortland Sutton in first read target share? That's the fun way. Same tool or that's spelled
yeah. Search Denver. You're on rank. So we can see so not since week 11, one, two, three, four,
five, six, seven, seven times in 17 games.
That, yeah, that middle, that middle bulk
where it was like five weeks in a row
is crazy from a DFS perspective.
You wanna show the chart builder?
That's gonna melt some brains.
I love this question.
Chris, do you know how many times Romo said,
I don't know Jim last season?
Yeah, pull that up, Chris.
Coming new to Fantasy Points data charting, right?
That's what you hired the new people for.
So yeah, I think Brett mentioned it.
You could basically build your own charts now.
There's a bunch of different chart types.
You could pick all kinds of stats, pretty much every stat that we have.
You can tweak the chart how you want.
You can show it by player, by team, defense, whatever you want to do.
There's also, like, if this is overwhelming to you,
there's a bunch of preset ones in here of stuff that,
is generally interesting to look at.
So like what loaded here is the EPA per dropback
versus completion percentage over expectation.
If you wanted to see like QB's pressure rate
and then pressure to sacrate,
you can just click these presets
and it'll make stuff for you.
So now you can be a Twitter guru, data guru.
You don't need to learn our Python.
It's all exportable too.
So you would just click export.
You could download it or copy your clipboard.
It'll basically be good to go
to post on social media then.
You can save chart views the same way we're showing with other tables.
So if you have a chart that you like, you can save it that way.
I'll run through, I guess, real quick, just what all the different chart types are.
So that's like a scatter plot.
This is EPA per dropback in bar chart form.
Let's see what else we got.
You can do line charts.
So you can see this is cumulative EPA per dropback by week.
You can do different settings with the line chart as well.
We have these dumbbell charts.
So this is EPA per dropback for splits versus no blitz.
You can see who has the biggest differences.
What else we have in here?
We have these cheat sheets, which are not necessarily charts,
but more just like quick.
quick snippets of stuff.
So like, hey, I just want to see EPA per dropback in different situations, like top
five, top 10.
You can just make stuff like this.
You can pick how many boxes, what the situations are, what the stat is, all that stuff.
And then we have come some more like specialized stuff.
So this field map one is area of the field the QB is throwing to.
And you can see specific stats with that.
We have our route tree stuff in here.
So if you want to do, let me add another one.
You can see Marvin Harrison versus Michael Wilson.
This is separation, but you can do, you know, win rate, yards per out run, whatever you want to do.
Again, all exportable so that it's ready for whatever you want to post it on.
We also have a route comparison one.
So just do those two guys again.
so you could see them side by side and basically see how they compare on different routes.
Looks like Michael Wilson was a lot better last year.
And then our run gap one, that's the same kind of thing as what we were looking at earlier on our
run gap tool. But you can also do it here and pick specific concepts, certain modifiers, stuff like
that. Yeah, really appreciate anyone who wants to screenshot this,
post it on social media and tag fantasy points data. You'll get a
a retweet out of it. But yeah, just wanted to make it really easy on content creators.
You know, this is really useful stuff that's just going to embed in my articles use on social media.
Do you want some more questions, Chris?
I have a question from Adrian Martinez. Is that NFL QB Adrian Martinez? That'd be cool.
Are we talking about this publicly or not? It's up to Chris.
We have a working version of this, but not something that we ready,
to do publicly yet.
We're testing it out and stuff like that.
It will be public one day.
That day's not today.
But we will have an AI chatbot connected to all this.
That's why we built ball knowledge in the first place.
But not there yet, but it's coming.
It's very functional.
I will say that.
Yeah.
So.
Who was the most pressure sensitive quarterback last year?
It's always Jared Goff.
It might be Gino, honestly.
It's one of those two.
The difference between them is golf is great at avoiding pressure.
Hey, I want to be clear on something.
This isn't perfect.
This isn't a finished product.
It's, you know, I think the best thing in the game, I think it's like underpriced by like orders of magnitude.
But, you know, we're just going to keep building this, growing it, developing it, improving upon it.
So if you have any bugs, make sure you let us know there's a feedback button in the top right-hand corner.
We just want the same thing that you want.
we want the best product possible.
I'd put 400 dropbacks, something like, or 300 dropbacks, not pressure dropbacks, yeah.
Here's another future question from Jeff Hicks.
Will there be any connection to college data for prospect info?
We will expand into college football for sure, probably like a 2028 project, maybe 2027,
but probably more of a 2028 project, but it's definitely coming.
Right now, though, we are trying to master NFL since.
We are a fantasy content company, first and foremost, betting, DFS.
So that's where we're going to really put all of our emphasis right now.
But yeah, college football data is coming.
So this tool lets you what Scott was talking about.
You can come in here and there's a bunch of presets in here for you,
but you can build this however you want.
Pick what you want to pivot on, what kind of split, and then sort by differentials.
So Cam Ward, I'm guessing, is who you were looking for there.
Yeah, yeah.
I actually didn't know the answer.
but you saved me some time.
I didn't have to look it up myself.
I'm offloading my homework to you.
Give me George Pickens versus CD Lamb after the team's buy.
Give me the sexiest look of that we have.
George Pickens, CDLam.
Okay.
So we're going to do that through.
Nope, not that one.
Do you remember their buy off the top of your head?
I don't.
If you know it, that would be super helpful.
It's 10, week 10.
I thought you were a freak like that, Chris.
I guess not sad it's only so much too quick oh this is awful oh yeah I don't want
to be burping for the next 10 minutes Kristen realized you were criticizing champagne he thought
I thought you're talking about the way that this is showing because of our view right now but
oh no this looks a lot pretty here in the actual data suite Chris is so used to getting lashings
from you he just assumed you were giving him a lashing live on air here um
You said week 10?
Yeah, was there by.
You don't have a custom buy week pre-post buy week button.
That's a good idea, though.
Be careful with that, Chris.
So it's tough to see here, but you can basically come in here and do any filters you want,
whatever you want.
You can set filters to just certain players, to all players.
So, yeah, if you wanted to see CD Lamb under when the quarterback's under pressure
versus George Pickens from a clean pocket, you could do that.
you could do a million different things like that and you could add your own stats as well um so but yeah
it looks it looks a little bit sexier cleaner on the actual site um this might be my last one all right
i got i got one last one for you it's a tricky one i want to see all running backs by first down
second down and third down fantasy points as three separate columns
You could do Bell Cow Report.
You could do RB plus wide receiver.
I think for the sake of simplicity, I think Belcal Report is the easiest.
All right.
So this one would take a minute to set up because you want them all separate, you said, first down.
And what's that?
Fantasy points on first down.
Who scored the most fantasy points on first down?
So I just turned on the filter.
So this is the snapshot feature.
So you can basically snapshot values.
So this is now fantasy points down one.
and now I'm going to go in here and change the filter to second down,
and that column should stay.
And we're going to snapshot this one.
And then we're going to do it one more time.
Snapshot this.
So now you can see, and then I'll turn the filter off.
All right.
Can you do conditional formatting on all three for me?
All right.
Who scored the most fantasy points on third down last year?
Caffrey, not surprising.
So Cicaphrie and Swift were the only guys over 50.
What about on first and second down?
How many guys were over 50?
A lot.
A lot.
Yeah, so clearly this is what Ryan Heath always says.
People overreact to losing third down targets.
We talked about Bejal Tootin versus their shitty scatback.
Really not as big of a deal as people think.
Why don't you show me third down percentage, fantasy points on third down as a percentage of total fantasy points.
So that's the same calculator that we were doing earlier.
and Benton new stat.
Yeah.
So there you go.
Maybe set a minimum number of fantasy points.
69.
0.420.
Ty Johnson's not surprising.
Kamani Vidal, a little surprising.
Isaiah Davis, Tai J. Spears, Jeremy McNichols,
Devin Singletary, a lot of the scatbacks.
I think that makes sense.
I think that's it for me.
I think there's like we could do this all day, Chris.
But I think that's my, I think,
you're off the hot seat now do any of our subscribers viewers want to put you on the hot seat
any questions we have to get through brett um sure i got to scroll up and you know
show me how to see devanta's target share the past three years with no a j brown on the
field on the field or not in our games that a j missed oh so that's a good question
we could do it both ways um why don't we do it both ways so so this is 2023 to 2025 uh target share
without a j brown playing a snap in a game 27.6 with a j brown 22 percent and then the other
way you would do it is with the on-off splits tool just seeing play as he even
off the field yeah it's better to use targets per route run Ryan Heath isn't a comment saying that
he's he's absolutely right um so you can see Devante it's just looking at yeah so Devante
AJ Brown on the field 23% off the field 21 so the the reason that you're going to see such a big
difference here is most likely AJ and Devante both come off the field together in like garbage
time and stuff like that. So both their target shares drop. You'll see that if you try to do that
with a lot of like start. So if you're looking at this for more like volume type stuff changes,
and that's where Ryan's point of using target per outrun again is better. You got to factor in
that a lot and that that's what this says up here. Or maybe it's down. Yeah. Yeah, it includes
in-game rest, garbage time. You're going to see starters kind of fall for that together.
because they both come off the field together.
But you could see here, target per outrun with AJ off the field,
Devante Smith, 32% compared to 19% when he's on the field.
Bam.
Can we get another one here?
Go ahead.
This one might be a little complicated, but who are the top running backs?
Last two seasons in yards after contact per attempt on gap scheme runs
with eight plus men in the box when trailing in the second half.
And how does that compare to their XFP?
I love this guy for asking this question.
So last two years.
All right, we're going to do Gap.
I'll help you out with this, Chris.
And Trey, if you could leave it on the screen.
I don't know who you are, Joe for show,
but I feel like I owe you a hat or a FNSI point shirt or something.
Because this is my, this is what I should have done to Chris.
I went too easy on it.
Troy, does he have a way to, uh, let's hold Scott to that.
Does he have a way to DM us to get,
Get his info so we can send him a hat.
Uh, hit me up on Twitter, hit Scott up on Twitter or the fantasy points account on Twitter.
Uh, yeah, hit me up on Discord or Twitter.
I'll hook you up, but I have to know it's you.
So I'm gonna make you, I'll make you reply from this account to something.
I think I got all the filters in last two seasons yards after contact for attempt.
Gap scheme runs eight plus in the box trailing in the second half.
Holy crap there.
Oh my God.
That's awesome.
Dude.
This is so much fun.
Compared to the XFP, too.
Bro, we need to make a shirt for fantasy points,
like destroying workplace productivity since 2017,
whenever we launched, 2020,
2019 maybe.
Because, yeah, dude, you could just,
this is such a wormhole,
or you can just get lost in this for days coming up with dang stats.
As we forgot a major feature that we didn't talk about.
It works on mobile too.
Oh, look at that.
That's a mic drop moment.
Hey, I'll be honest, it's not amazing on mobile, but it's function.
Right. Yeah, yeah.
It's not perfect, but we wanted to make sure you could get to a lot of this stuff on mobile if you wanted to.
But yeah, the premium experiences on desktop.
Requires a little patience on mobile as you're squinting quite a bit, but it's functional enough that like, gosh, I was driving in my car yesterday and wanted, like, I was talking to somebody about some, my
dad actually about some situation and wanted to reference it quickly so i just pulled it up on my phone and boom i
had it right there he safely pulled over in your car though right yes yes of course let me see um
let me see who the worst quarterback was against design coverage against disguise coverage
because all coverage are designed i say you said design coverage disguise so yeah this is like a
a bunch of preset situation buckets so you're going to turn you off go disguised worst EPA for dropback
you don't have a qualifier on clean tune there you tune no do uh one in 150 yeah let's do a little higher
oh next was the worst interesting i thought he was supposed to be smart coach's son brother
brother you think a quarterback that's thrown 70 screens a game since high school is smart
might be a reason for that just saying they need to trade for rishi rice that's the that's the fit
rice debo and waddle that's your trio right there all right well is this what are we doing here brett
yeah we've gone an hour and 10 i think this has been awesome we've showed off most of the new features
I'm sure we left some on the table.
Oh,
oh, guys,
a huge feature we didn't show.
You can toggle light and dark mode.
Hey,
go ahead and toggle light mode on.
This is my view right here.
This is the world I live in.
As a 38-year-old man,
I don't know how you guys do dark mode.
Yeah, anyways, light mode for the win.
That was a request put in by moi.
So excited.
But yeah, this is great, guys.
huge congratulations to everyone involved
got this over the finish line
and yeah I couldn't be more proud of what we've done here
Chris you deserve all the praise in the world
but so does the whole team involved so
very excited um one more time
