Here we go!
It's time to dominate your fantasy league.
Let's go!
Now, here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie, and Heath.
Oh, what a treat for you.
The pumpkin pie to your weekly podcast.
Jamie Eisenberg on the Saturday
show. Saturday audience, meet Jamie.
Jamie, meet Saturday
mailbag audience. Hi, everyone.
You make it seem like I've never done this before.
It's been a long time. Since
2018.
2018.
Didn't I used to do all these?
I don't remember.
Most of them, I think.
Last year, it was like a rotation of Dave, Jamie, and Heath.
But today, it is Jamie as Ben Gretsch is at the Apple Cup right now.
So that's a lot of fun.
We welcome you, everybody, to the Fantasy Football Today Road Tour presented by Little Caesars.
Is it a red apple or a green apple?
I don't know.
I guess it depends on if you win or not.
Are you having pizza for dinner tonight?
How about ordering your favorite online from Little Caesars
and using Pizza Portal Pickup?
It's the latest, greatest, and hottest way to pick up a pizza
without even going to the register.
Little Caesars, everybody.
Pizza Portal Pickup.
Get on it.
We got news and notes.
He's the zone guy, right?
The red zone and the green zone?
Yes.
If it's a red apple, then? The red zone and the green zone? Yes.
So if it's a red apple, then I guess he's inside the 20.
If it's a green apple, he's inside the 10.
Yeah, exactly.
Of course, by the time people are listening to this,
you'll know the score of the Apple Cup,
or you won't care like me.
So we've got your Apple podcast questions.
I used to love watching college football the Friday after Thanksgiving.
Great stuff. I miss it. I really do. Well, it's because you don't have watching college football the Friday after Thanksgiving. Great stuff.
I miss it.
I really do.
Well, it's because you don't have a college football team anymore.
That's also true.
Fired up to watch them play Duke tomorrow.
Are you on the radio show tomorrow?
Or is that Dave?
No.
Okay.
I don't know who's on it.
I'll find out when I show up.
But that's going to be fun, so listen to that.
Hey, Golden Tate, Red Ellison, and Evan Ingram are out.
So, Caden Smith?
Caden Smith, yeah.
He had five catches, scored a touchdown last week.
Played a lot.
I keep getting him and the Falcons tight ends confused.
Jaden.
Yeah.
Jaden, Caden.
But he did play a lot.
He caught a touchdown, and he's got a good matchup.
And I am starting him, even though I can't remember his name.
And normally I can, but I couldn't just now.
I have a tough call to make.
I'm starting him.
Right now I have Kyle Rudolph.
I've been playing the Austin Hooper
find a tight end replacement roulette game.
And so I may go to Caden Smith
now that it appears Adam Thielen will play,
which makes me less likely to start Kyle Rudolph.
That's interesting.
That is interesting.
I'm not sure if I'd do that.
But you're not either.
You haven't done it yet.
No, I'm not sure.
The problem is that it's a Monday game,
so we don't know exactly how Adam Thielen will respond
to multiple days of practice.
And I think that you've seen enough of a track record
of what Kyle Rudolph's numbers were when Adam Thielen was healthy.
Oh, yeah, for sure.
And both teams have good matchups, Kyle Rudolph and the Giants.
So Thielen is practicing.
And are you going to start him?
Because I don't think I brought this up on Friday,
but the last time we saw him play,
he came out almost immediately,
re-injuring his hamstring.
And it happened to him he had a scare on Monday.
So are you comfortable starting Adam Thielen Monday night?
I think the fact that he got in a practice on Friday,
and I've been reading some of his quotes following practice.
He says he feels like it's good, but the thing is he's got to do it again and again.
I don't know if that means in a game again and again or just go through multiple practices.
Saturday will be a walkthrough practice for him,
but my guess is that he's probably going to be fine.
This is a big game in terms of if they both end up as the wild cards, who's going to be the five, who's going to be fine. This is a big game in terms of if they both end up as the wild
cards, who's going to be the
five, who's going to be the six?
If that matters.
I want to look at the playoff picture.
Let's create our
ideal playoffs.
Yeah, okay. So,
ideally I want to see the
Ravens play the Chiefs and the Patriots
somehow.
Which I guess probably won't happen, right?
Let's see.
Well, the Chiefs and Ravens will need to beat the two and the three.
Yeah, so actually that could happen because the Ravens are currently the two
and the Chiefs are currently the three?
No, they – are they the three or the four?
I believe they're the four.
Yeah, did they lose to Houston or did they not face Houston?
They lost to the Colts.
Okay.
It's possible, though.
That could be great.
The Ravens beat the Chiefs and then the Ravens
beat the Patriots. That would be wonderful.
I would like to see those three teams,
one of them,
play each other twice.
Play each other twice?
One of them have to play the other two teams.
Yeah, right. Exactly. Exactly. Those are the top three.
And then the other teams we want to make the playoffs in the AFC would be...
Buffalo.
Buffalo, yeah. They deserve it.
I mean, I think they're going to lose their first game,
but I've been wrong about them.
So they deserve it. Let's see what Josh Allen's made of.
Well, do you think that if it's the 4-5 matchup of Buffalo,
let's say Houston?
I would take Houston.
So I would take Houston there,
but I think Buffalo could beat, probably would beat,
like the Raiders or maybe the Colts.
Yeah, Buffalo can play with them.
They're such a hierarchy, those top three teams.
The Raiders aren't making the playoffs.
The Raiders are not making the playoffs?
Raiders are not winning the division.
Well, but they have the same record as the Steelers,
who currently are the sixth seed.
Yeah, but they're not going to be better than the Chiefs.
The Chiefs are going to win the West.
But they don't have to win.
They can get a wild card.
Basically, the wild card right now, I'm looking at the standings.
Yeah, but they would never meet in the playoffs
unless they both get to the championship game.
Oh, the Chiefs and the Bills.
Yeah. No, the Raiders and the Bills. You said the Raiders and the Chiefs? I mean, sorry, the to the championship game. Oh, the Chiefs and the Bills. Yeah.
No, the Raiders and the...
You said the...
I mean, sorry, the Raiders and the Chiefs?
The Raiders and the Bills?
You said the Bills could beat the Raiders.
They're not going to play the Raiders
unless the Raiders win the division.
They both make it to the championship game.
Okay, because the Bills are going to be the five seed.
Yeah.
Yeah, right.
And the Raiders would be the six seed in this scenario.
All right, well, who do we want to be the six seed? Yeah. Yeah. Right. And the Raiders would be the six seed in this scenario. All right.
Well, who do we want to be the six seed?
Who do you want to see in there?
I'd like it to be the Titans.
No.
The Titans?
Yeah.
I like the way they're playing right now.
I'd go for the Colts.
Good, great defense potentially.
The Colts are so beat up.
Yeah, but we got four weeks.
So we're at the playoffs.
Let me ask this question right now.
Looking at the two teams and how they're currently performing right now,
you would rather see Jacoby Brissett hand off 20 times
or Ryan Tannehill, who actually looks exciting
and is making this offense look fun,
plus Derek Henry stiff-arming people all over the place.
When you put it like that.
All right, fine, whatever.
The Colts are so boring.
I think the Titans are pretty boring, too.
As you usually think of them, but not with Tannehill.
He's been fun.
Not with Tannehill.
All right, fine.
San Francisco, New Orleans, they're going to make the playoffs.
New Orleans and San Francisco play next week.
Could determine who the one seed is going to be.
Basically, we know who's making the playoffs.
It would be surprising if anybody else was in there.
It's the Niners, the Saints, the Packers, the Cowboys, or the Eagles.
That's the one.
Cowboys and Eagles.
And Seattle and Minnesota.
Damn.
Loaded.
Loaded.
Yeah.
Who's going to win the NFC?
You know, I said at the beginning of the season
that I thought it would actually be an Eagles Chiefs Super Bowl.
Now I feel the most confident that the Saints are going to end up with home field because they get the 49ers in their building next week.
And the 49ers are coming off.
It'll be back-to-back road games going into Baltimore,
which is going to be a physical game. They're going to be beat up a little bit. And then having to are coming off. It'll be back-to-back road games going into Baltimore, which is going to be a physical game.
They're going to be beat up a little bit.
And then having to play New Orleans.
So I think the Saints win that game.
Plus, they have the extra time to prepare.
So I think the Saints get home field,
and I'll take the Saints going to the Super Bowl.
Whew.
AFC's going to be a fun one, though.
Yeah.
I mean, I want to pick the Patriots,
but the one team that seems to really challenge them in
the playoffs if they ever meet is always the ravens they always play them tough in the playoffs
harbaugh's you know he matches up he gets it going against belichick so yeah the ravens are
probably better the patriots have some obvious flaws that just have not gone away and the eagles
by the way dolphins giants redskins cowboys, Redskins, Cowboys, Giants.
There's a good chance they're going 4-1 at worst.
So the Cowboys
are really going to have to bring it
in their final four games.
Obviously they have four. Alright,
back to football, fantasy football. AJ Green's
out. Drew Locke could start. Chris Thompson
might play this week. Does that matter
at all at Carolina?
Matters a little bit if you're looking for a desperation PPR option.
We'll see how Dwayne Haskins treats Chris Thompson
in terms of some check down passes.
You know what this offense is going to be.
They're going to be very run heavy.
He typically is not a guy that gets a lot of carries,
especially when the other two guys are going to be healthy.
DFS advice.
Who do you like this week in DFS?
There are a lot of good quarterbacks.
I think you look at Tannehill, you look at Darnold.
If you want to go cheap and have still some upside, Dalton.
The running backs are interesting because you know what you're getting with McCaffrey,
but there's not a lot of trust, at least for me, based on price in somebody like Barkley.
Gurley could be good, but he's expensive.
Aaron Jones is intriguing to me
just because I think they're going to be able to run on the Giants,
so I would spend the money on him.
My favorite play in any position is Ronald Jones.
I just think his cost relative to the matchup he has with Jacksonville
could be just fantastic.
He is pretty inexpensive.
Like he's in FanDuel.
It's Philip Lindsay.
Well, it's like Kenyon Drake, Philip Lindsay, Ronald Jones, Tevin Coleman.
I think LeSean McCoy will be in a lot of lineups if Daniel Williams does not play.
Who?
Daryl Williams too.
Daryl Williams, yeah.
Miles Sanders.
So that's a good range.
Like Miles Sanders, LeSean McCoy, those guys are interesting.
And the receivers are interesting too
because I think the three highest-priced guys
are Tyreek Hill, Chris Godwin, and Cooper Cupp on Fandle.
Devontae Adams is ahead of Cupp.
Cupp is four.
Okay.
Yeah, and I love Devontae Adams.
I mean, I think he's going to have a really good game.
All those guys should, except you don't know about Cupp
because it's been...
I'm surprised Cupp is that high.
I'm surprised Jared Goff is the fifth most expensive quarterback on FanDuel.
So it's like all the sleeper appeal is gone when he's priced like that.
That's strange.
Jack Doyle, I think, is a really good value without T.Y. Hilton in there.
And obviously Eric Ebron.
He is way down on the list.
He's $5,000.
So you can take a look at him.
Not as cheap as Caden Smith.
How cheap is Caden Smith?
I haven't even seen him.
He's probably the minimum.
I would guess so.
So, okay, there's some advice for you.
And I do think Barkley's interesting
because this is probably, you know,
this is a pretty cheap,
you know, it's a pretty cheap price for him.
Let me just take a look.
Saquon is $7,600 compared to Christian McCaffrey is like $11,000.
And the second most expensive running back is Derek Henry who's $8,600.
So Packers run even has been so bad.
Barkley is not a bad home run play there.
Yeah, he's Saquon Barkley after all.
The Facebook group, this is your last chance to tell us who you're thankful for.
And we'll give out a t-shirt to the winner.
Let's get to the Apple podcast questions.
This is from Paletti in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Watson or Darnold?
Darnold for me.
We've talked about this all week long.
Watson's facing the Patriots.
They've only allowed one quarterback to go over 13 fantasy points.
It was the MVP in Lamar Jackson.
And we've seen Watson already struggle,
whereas Darnold's coming off three straight strong games
and gets the Bengals,
and they've been bad against quarterbacks all season.
From Dak and Zeke, PPR picked two of these,
Ronald Jones, Chris Carson, Austin Eckler, and David Montgomery.
You said PPR? Yes.
Can I take Montgomery's points already?
Guarantee that? Yeah, sorry about that.
Eckler and
Ronald Jones for me. I thought you were going to say from Dak
and Zeke, who would you rather have? Urban Meyer
or Lincoln Riley?
Some of
these players
have obviously played already,
but most of them did not play yesterday.
From Heath's Breakfast Stout.
That's a good joke from the Wednesday show.
Start three wide receivers.
DeAndre Hopkins, Allen Robinson, Jamison Crowder,
Devontae Parker, and Tyrell Williams.
So let's assume he started Allen Robinson.
Pick two out of Hopkins, Crowder, and Parker, and Williams.
I'm going to sit Hopkins, and I'm going to sit Williams.
I'm going to go Crowder and Parker.
It's against the norm, but I just think you look at the best matchups.
From Young Mart.
I will say this.
I'm sorry.
Most people probably play Hopkins.
If you're going to pair Hopkins with one of the other two,
go with Parker over Crowder.
This is one of the best emails I've ever gotten.
I'm in a league where I listen to Adam on a lot of topics,
and I'm 10-2 in week one of the playoffs.
What?
Should I start Sam Darnold or Matt Ryan?
I would have said Sam Darnold.
And Tyrell Williams, Christian Kirk, James Washington,
or Robbie Anderson?
Go ahead. I'm going to take Tyrell Williams here. I, James Washington, or Robbie Anderson? Go ahead.
I'm going to take Tyrell Williams here.
I know we're sort of down on him, and I get it.
But without Hunter Renfro, I think that helps Tyrell Williams.
I'll take him.
Hopefully.
Who would you take, Christian Kirk?
Yeah.
Yeah, that's what I figured.
By the way, here's a fun thought, right?
Because I read this, and I said, this will be fun.
Let's say you have Sam Darnold and Matt Ryan. Yeah. Yeah, that's what I figured. By the way, here's a fun thought, right? Because I read this and I said, this will be fun.
Let's say you have Sam Darnold and Matt Ryan.
What did Ryan give you last night?
20?
20.
20?
Okay.
All right, so in that case, you would probably... If I said I can guarantee you Matt Ryan's 20
or you can play Sam Darnold, what would you do?
I'd play Sam Darnold.
Okay.
Yeah, I figured as much.
What if you had Dak Prescott, who had, what, 26?
I think so.
Or Sam Darnold?
Anything above 25, I would settle for.
Okay.
Okay.
Fun game.
We should do a league like that somehow.
Or we just do prop bets.
I like that option of having to choose
and making a horrible decision and hating yourself for it.
From P.O. Student.
PPR.
Pick a flex.
Gordon, Eckler, T.Y. Hilton, who's out, or Devante Parker.
So Gordon, Eckler, or Parker.
PPR.
Melvin or Josh?
Melvin.
I would take Melvin. From Melvin. I would take Melvin from F1 RB flex help.
I need a running back out of Kenyon Drake,
Devin Singletary.
Okay.
Miles Sanders or Ronald Jones.
Who's your favorite there?
Ronald Jones.
Okay.
From Drew in Philadelphia,
Baltimore or Carolina DST Baltimore.
All right.

All right, you ready to do some regulating, Jamie?
Yeah.
Well, I'm not because I don't have the music queued up.
So let's take care of that.
All right, here we go.
This is from Greg in Pittsburgh.
I picked this because we talked about it on the show on Friday.
I play in a league that uses Team QB.
When Drew Brees threw a touchdown pass to Taysom Hill yesterday, the New Orleans,
damn it, the New Orleans Team QB was given four points for the passing touchdown and six points
for the receiving touchdown. The league commish is against the New Orleans team QB this week.
And he believes that this is a scoring error and wants to adjust the rule midseason.
So that the six points for the touchdown reception are taken away.
Nope.
Keep it by this is Hill's fourth touchdown reception this year.
This is the first time it's been brought up.
Nope.
That's the scoring you said. That's what you deal
with. It's pretty interesting
though, right? Because it's not really in the spirit
of Team QB.
Well,
what happens
we saw, what are they called? The
Heisman package?
Yeah, right. What would happen
in the same scenario if one of the quarterbacks threw a touchdown
to the other one? It would count.
But the point of Team QB is what?
If your quarterback gets hurt, you don't lose the points.
Right.
But, I mean, you have to understand this with the Saints.
Like Ben Gretsch, I think it was Ben,
we played against each other in a 2QB league.
Or I should take that back.
I'm actually playing against somebody in a super flex league.
And because of injuries in bye weeks, I think, not bye weeks, but injuries,
maybe as a result of bye weeks, they kept Taysom Hill in there.
I played against Taysom Hill last night.
He got 18 fantasy points.
So, you know, he's part of what the Saints do.
And so if you're drafting the Saints TQB, you'd have to say before the season. Remember like with baseball when
Otani and people had to make a decision
on is he a DH, is he a pitcher?
You're not going to get points for both.
It's the same thing. If you're going to establish a
rule like this, it has to be done before
the season. It cannot be changed right before
or after
the play happens or after the game happens.
Especially if you're the commissioner playing against that. There's
no way you can allow that. And I would establish
that rule at the beginning of the season. I would say that
the Team QB can only get
points for passing touchdowns. Or, well,
touchdowns score...
No, you can't do that. How do you do...
Right, right. Hold on, hold on, hold on.
Hold on.
No, because I think it's kind of cheap. He's not a
quarterback, Jamie. Why is that cheap? He's not a
quarterback.
But again, if you look at it this way,
and let's say they go into 2020 and it's still the same thing.
Teddy Bridgewater walks.
Their two quarterbacks are these two guys.
And you know that this is the potential of what this offense does.
Wouldn't that make them more attractive to draft?
Okay, obviously I said they only get credit for passing touches. I didn't mean it in the sense like Josh Allen wouldn't get credit for a rushing touchdown.
Yes, of course it would make them.
So then that's the risk you take.
If I'm ranking the TQB, I would give more weight to the Saints
because I know that this is the potential of that.
Slightly.
No, you're right. It is.
I mean, it's going to be a few touchdowns a year.
It's not insignificant.
Yeah, I don't know.
It just feels like he's not a quarterback.
It's annoying that he's designated
as a quarterback.
I guess in the same vein,
do you take away John Brown's
passing touchdown because he's not
a passer? No,
which is why I'm not really sure how to... Fine, just do
what Jamie says. Okay, whatever.
Let's get back to the regulators. This is from
Quinter12.
This Thanksgiving...
What's that? Quinner or Quitter?
Quinner. Okay.
I'm Quitter12. He's Quinner.
This Thanksgiving, I'm tied for
the last playoff spot with one other team.
One of us gets in, and the other
one doesn't. The other
team, by the way, uh, has
McCaffrey and the Patriots DST. I am matched up with a team
that's in the playoffs already. And the other team, the one that I need to lose, is playing
someone who's already been eliminated from the playoffs. The eliminated team has two inactive
players in his lineup, and the Thanksgiving game kicks off in 10 minutes. He could play Kyler Murray
and Nicole Hardman to fill in these spots. Our commissioner is trying to get a hold of this guy as I write this,
but what should we do to fix this?
And to follow up, the commissioner made a last-minute swap
to this guy's lineup to put in Kyler Murray,
but left his wide receiver slot open so he can play someone from the Sunday slate.
Okay, so they did sort of fix that.
But what do you do when somebody's ruining the competitiveness of the league?
That does kind of suck. You know, what do you do when somebody's ruining the competitiveness of the league that does kind
of suck you know what do you do i think you have to uh twofold i like the fact that the commissioner
is tweaking the lineup himself herself um but i think you always have to go back and look did the
person who did quinter benefit from playing this team also when they didn't set their lineup
because if quinter benefited from this player this fantasy manager not setting his lineup or her lineup,
then you can't penalize the team you're playing against.
Because if you got a cheap win, he should also be in the same scenario.
So would you still make the roster move?
Would you still make the...
I think if it was the scenario of, okay, you know, Quinter played Quitter, right?
Yeah.
So if Quinter benefited because Quitter didn't set a lineup,
then you have to allow Quinter's opponent
to also have the same benefit,
and the commissioner cannot change it.
But I would also probably recommend
kicking the other person out of the league
or saying that you have one more chance
if we notice that you don't...
You better kick a lot of people out of our IDP league.
Well, those are other analysts.
That's even worse.
All right, so why don't you call them out then, Adam?
Go ahead.
No, I'm not going to do that.
Why?
Come on.
I'm not going to do that, but that really bothered me.
It was just one person.
I think it was two.
No, because the second one you referenced when you sent me a text message
made moves later that weekend.
Okay, but he hadn't made a move in weeks.
But his team was also stacked, as you pointed out.
Yeah, what the hell?
He kicks my ass every week.
It's so annoying.
I tell you that I drafted that team for him.
Using his rankings.
Okay, all right.
Well, that's fine.
All right, let's do some starters.
Bring us home here.
But first, have you ordered a pizza online from Little Caesars yet?
If not, you're missing out on Pizza Portal Pickup. is Pizza Portal pickup? It's like getting a pizza right out
of the oven yourself. You walk in, you enter a code on the portal, a door opens, and you're off
with your favorite pizza. And whatever pizza you order, it's going to have crazy, crazy amounts of
toppings. It's fun. Give it a try, but it's only available at Little Caesars. Pizza Pizza. All right, from RJ.
Non-PPR, Rams D or Chargers D?
Non-PPR, Jamie.
Rams or Chargers?
I was pull PPR.
I know.
I would go with the Chargers.
From Rusty.
12-team PPR.
Give me two flexes.
Hopkins, Thielen, Westbrook, Mark Andrews, and Curtis Samuel.
First two receivers, Hopkins and Thielen, Westbrook, Mark Andrews, and Curtis Samuel. First two receivers, Hopkins and Thielen.
From Jared Traer from Canada.
Hey, Adam, Dave, Jamie, and Heath.
I'm going up against Godwin and Evans.
So I'm deciding between Lindsey and Ronald Jones.
Should the fact that my opponent has two Tampa Bay wide receivers affect my decision? Well, let's just go back
to last week with
the Titans,
for example, against the Jaguars.
How did they do?
The Titans or the Jaguars?
The Titans.
They did well. They crushed them.
Right. Derrick Henry had two touchdowns.
Yeah.
Ryan Tannehill had four. Right. Derrick Henry had two touchdowns. Yeah. Right. Ryan Tannehill had four.
Yeah.
So.
So, yes.
You're saying a running back in a passing game can still be great.
And they're playing the Jaguars.
So, you're just going to go with Ronald Jones.
Yep.
Yeah.
All right.
That's why I don't look at my opponent's roster.
You play the guy that you think is going to score the most points.
Sixth point for passing touchdown league.
This is from Nick.
Kyler Murray or Sam Darnold?
I like both, but I think Darnold has a higher ceiling.
Darius Geis or Benny Snell?
I like both as flexes.
First off, let's find out if Connor is going to be out,
but I would probably lean
towards no.
For the record, he did write Benny smell in here.
So as a Gator fan who lost to Kentucky because of Benny Snell two years ago, I would say
he smells off.
Uh, this is from a fat guy in the North pole.
I know that.
I know that.
Yes, that's exactly what it is.
I was watching the Macy's Thanksgiving
Day Parade.
Do they know that it's Thanksgiving
and not Christmas? Did you watch any of it? Oh, you were on
the air. No, I did not watch it. It was all Christmas.
It's like Christmas, Christmas, Christmas. At the end,
Al Roker's like, Merry Christmas, everyone.
It's like, on Thanksgiving? Can we
wait? Can we wait until December
1st? Let's celebrate Thanksgiving. It's very strange. I, can we wait? Can we wait until December 1st? Like, let's celebrate Thanksgiving.
This is very strange.
I'm the number one seed, says Fat Guy in the North Pole.
DST is really thin on the waiver wire.
Can I trust the Giants in weeks 15 and 16 against the Dolphins and Redskins?
Yes.
No.
I'm going to say no.
You know what?
Let's check. Let's go to the box score. Let's do this. Trust, I'm going to say no. You know what? Let's check.
Let's go to the box score.
Let's do this.
Trust, no.
Buy into if you're stuck.
That's the type of scenario you're looking for
if you don't have anybody good.
Well, they only scored 31 fantasy points
against the Redskins the first time they faced them.
So... I have
somebody who is
number one in points in their fantasy league
and has just a stacked starting lineup
but a few bench spots to play with
and they've already picked up the Dolphins
for the Week 16 matchup against the Bengals.
Yeah, I don't
know. It doesn't look as attractive right now
that Dalton's probably starting but if it was Finley
I mean...
You're right, though. It's not trust, but there's a good chance
that they're going to be a top-12 DST those two weeks.
From Phoenix, should I start Jared Goff against the Cardinals
or Ryan Tannehill?
I'd go Tannehill.
Luke in Toronto, half-PPR league Carlos Hyde,
James White, Sterling Shepard, Penny, and Hollister are on my bench.
I do need to keep one for a flex, but would it make sense to drop the rest and add handcuffs?
Not necessarily his handcuffs, but Pollard, Gallman, and Armstead are available.
Not those guys.
Pollard maybe but
Gallman I know did a nice job
when he stepped in for
Saquon Barkley and that game he just referenced against the Redskins
but I don't know
how much of the Giants lack of
success running is
Barkley or the offense
well
I would say that if he didn't
have the Dolphins and the Redskins
in weeks 15 and 16, I don't know
that even the Barkley owner should really be
even the Barkley owner
needs, like you can obviously have
Gallman, but I would have pretty low expectations
for him, but those two matchups
are just so good that he
might be worth it. But look, what are you going to do? Are you going to drop Rashad
Penny? Rashad Penny could be even better.
Yeah, he's the best handoff
of the guys you mentioned. Right.
You know, James White could easily be better.
So, I'm
not opposed to
getting Pollard, though.
I just don't know who I'd drop.
Yeah, I mean, and look, thankfully
we haven't really seen many instances where
Elliott gets hurt. No. Cowboys
running backs don't get hurt.
It just doesn't happen.
Did you know that?
Even Darren McFadden.
Darren McFadden is the most injury-prone player in the world.
Goes to the Cowboys and never gets hurt.
This is from Brian.
Hey, Jimmy, Bunk, Omar, and Avon.
That is the wire, yeah.
Need a running back and a wide receiver and a flex.
Wide receiver, DJ Moore or Keenan Allen?
I would go with DJ Moore.
Josh Jacobs, Mark Ingram, Philip Lindsay, Darryl Williams.
Pick one.
Josh Jacobs.
Over Ingram.
What's the format?
Half P, P, R.
Ingram.
And pick a flex.
Keenan Allen, Josh Jacobs, Philip Lindsay, Darrell Williams.
Josh Jacobs.
This is from a loyal listener.
I mean, they're all kind of from loyal listeners,
but this guy declares himself to be a loyal listener.
Philip Lindsay, Jonathan Williams, Jarvis Landry, or Jared Cook.
I need a running back and a flex.
So Lindsay or Williams?
Williams.
And a flex.
Lindsay, Jarvis Landry, Jared Cook.
And I'm sorry. I know that Jared Cook already played,
but if you were going to choose between Lindsey and Landry.
Landry.
A couple news items for you.
Yeah.
Juju, ruled out.
James Conner, doubtful.
Okay.
Good stuff.
Brian S., already clinched a playoff spot,
so the next two weeks don't matter.
I have Matt Ryan and Dak Prescott.
Can I drop Matt Ryan for a smart running back stash?
You can.
I'd first go look to see if Darrell Williams was available.
There you go.
This is Mitch from the home of the Browns.
Hey, Bar.
Damn it.
Hey, Bar, Ledger, and Cliff.
Famous Heaths.
Famous Heaths. Famous Heaths.
Chris Carson or Devante Parker in non-PPR?
Ooh, tough one.
It is tough.
I would probably play it safe and go Parker, but it's close.
From Henry, 10-team PPR.
Say that in 2019.
Parker versus Carson.
Play it safe and go Parker.
Parker should be a lesson I guess like maybe Corey Davis will be good in three years uh hopefully hopefully what's the tie-in
first round pick terrible start to the season don't give up on them they're actually okay you
know well oh oh oh, oh, oh.
I understand what you're saying. I thought you meant...
I thought you were asking me. Yes,
Ryan Tannehill. From
Henry.
10-team PPR league. Give up
Patrick Mahomes.
Listen to how bad this trade is. Sorry.
Give up Patrick Mahomes and Melvin
Gordon and get Derek Henry.
No. Don't Derek Henry? No.
Don't do it.
I'm so curious what's going to happen
with Melvin Gordon this offseason.
He is the number one player I will be watching
and see what happens. I have a prediction.
Back with the Chargers.
I would probably
put my money on that,
but you can't imagine
they're going to give him the contract that he's looking for
because they would have done that already.
I thought nobody was going to think that.
What?
That he would go back to the Chargers. I thought you'd be like, what?
I mean, the fact that he
has played through this, I'm sure is a good
will gesture on his part, but
they are probably
going to have a new quarterback next year.
Are they overhauling everything?
Yeah, maybe.
I just don't know if he's going to get the money he wants from anyone.
These running back contracts are not working out so well.
No.
You wonder if David Johnson is going to get cut?
Yeah, what is going on over there?
What is that?
What's the deal?
What's the deal with the Cardinals? No, seriously.
Why did they trade for Kenny Drake? Do they just not want
David Johnson anymore? Well, remember when they traded for
Drake, Johnson was banged up and Edmonton just
suffered the hamstring injury, but they
don't seem to like him as a fit in this offense.
Okay, let's go
to...
Oh, no name.
Okay, if I win, I get a buy in the
playoff. Should I start Jameson Crowder or Mike Evans?
I'm not benching Mike Evans.
I know there's been some up and down.
Look, we talked about this on Fantasy Football today on Friday.
Jameson Crowder had a bad game in the last month.
It's the last one he had.
DJ Chark's coming off a bad game.
Mike Evans and Chris Godwin have basically alternated
good game, bad game, good game, bad game.
We see this from time to time.
You know, DeAndre Hopkins probably going to have a bad game this week.
Amari Cooper, bad game last week, bounced back, had a good game on Thanksgiving.
That's just the nature of the position.
You're dependent on the quarterback getting the ball to this guy.
And in the case of Evans, he's playing on the,
he's sharing the field now with the receiver who's proving to be a potential
superstar.
So,
you know,
don't,
I think run away from guys just because they have some bad games here and
there.
Yeah.
And with Evans,
I was working on a trade in the podcast league this week.
You actually ended up trading with this guy.
He and I were talking about a Mike Evans for Melvin Gordon swap with some other pieces in there because I went into the week going, I need to win to get in. And I
think I need one team to lose, but I can't win if I have Tevin Coleman and Josh Jacobs as my
running backs this week. So I'll take a chance. I was going to trade Mike Evans. It didn't work
out. You ended up making a trade instead of me. But I thought to myself, I went and looked at the game logs.
Mike Evans has had three disappointing games in a row.
This is how I felt about Stefan Diggs against the Broncos.
I was like, he's not going to have another one.
These guys are too good.
You don't see it very often.
That's what I was saying.
I was going through the game log.
You just don't see it very often with Mike Evans for him to have like four bad games in a row.
So I think there's a chance.
It doesn't matchups don't really matter.
I think there's a chance.
There always is that he's just amazing this week.
Hopefully win me a couple of leagues.
I think I'm in three leagues.
So I'm hopeful for him.
What did you think of the trade we made?
What was it again?
I gave up Tyler Lockett to get Kyler Murray and Alshon Jeffrey.
Now, it's contingent on two things.
One, essentially what I did was I traded Andy Dalton and Tyler Lockett for those two guys
because Dalton was my starter.
Gave up those guys off my roster.
I have to win and get some help to get in.
So I needed the quarterback upgrade.
I think Kyler Murray will do well.
And if Alshon plays,
wouldn't surprise me if he's better than Tyler Lockett.
It's a good trade for this week.
Tyler Lockett, it almost feels like DK Metcalf.
I don't think this is happening.
But it almost feels like DK Metcalf
is becoming Russell Wilson's favorite target.
Well, part of that has been the injuries.
But the thing about his injury was like he played most of the game at San Francisco.
And then this was not like a lingering hamstring or whatever.
This was a thigh swelling that he needed to go to the hospital for.
So I don't feel like he's playing hurt.
But Metcalf's just been very involved.
I think it was a good trade.
I think it was a good trade for both parties, you know,
because you need a quarterback.
For me, and I've been a little bit snakebit with this league
because I have David Johnson, Emmanuel Sanders, and Juju.
I had a really good receiving core.
Sanders, Juju, Lockett, and Chris Godwin.
So I was playing Cole Beasley anyway.
That worked out well.
Oh.
And like I said, if Jeffrey does
what I hope he'll do against the Dolphins if he plays,
I don't think I'll miss Tyler Lockett, but I'll
certainly get the upgrade of Kyler Murray.
You reminded me to check something. I want to see
where we're at with our bet of Lockett versus
Metcalf in touchdown. Really close.
It might be Lockett by one.
Let's see.
By the way, while you look that up,
it's not just Alshon Jeffery for this week.
Giants, Redskins next two weeks.
But I got to get in, so that's the biggest thing.
Yeah.
Oh, you got it?
The touchdowns are 6-5 in favor of Lockett.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But who's leading?
Is Lockett leading the team in touchdowns?
He has to be, right?
Or is Disley?
I don't know.
Who's leading the team?
Lockett.
Yeah, it's Lockett.
Disley has four.
Okay, let's finish up.
I saw one of you tweeted,
you're Heath,
you're winning the Daniel Jones-Gardner-Mitchell battle.
Yeah, I didn't realize that.
Heath tweeted that.
Is it over?
No, no.
It's the rest of Daniel Jones' starts.
Oh, it's points per game?
Points per game without injury.
Ooh, news, news.
I'm glad we're lingering.
Damien Williams.
A lot of your fantasy teams are hinging on this one, Adam.
Who, Damien Williams?
He's out.
He's going to play.
Not this week.
I knew it.
I knew it, yes.
All right, let's go.
Daryl Williams.
Tiger Kill.
Is playing. Is available. Okay. All right, let's go. Daryl Williams. Tiger Kill. Is playing.
Is available.
Okay.
All right, here we go, Jamie.
Fire through these here from Liza.
Carson or Thielen, half PPR.
Carson.
From Richard.
Cup, Beckham, or Keenan Allen, PPR.
Cup.
From Tyron.
Fournette or DJ Moore, PPR.
DJ Moore.
Parker or Nuke?
Parker.
From Scott.
PPR, three wide receiver slash tight end league.
Do I start Devontae Parker over either Keenan Allen or Zach Ertz?
Not over Ertz, but over Keenan Allen.
From Kevin.
Watson, Foles, Brady, Tannehill.
Need one? Yeah, Tannehill. Need one?
Yeah.
Tannehill.
From Brian,
Kyler Murray or Aaron Rodgers?
Rodgers.
From Iron Mike,
starters hit Jordan Howard
if he plays over Tevin Coleman?
Not going to play.
Okay.
From Brian,
Winston or Watson?
Winston.
From Matt,
Chris Carson or Ronald Jones,
half PPR? Jones. From Mike, Sut Carson or Ronald Jones, half PPR?
Jones.
From Mike, Sutton or Alshon Jeffrey?

And from Austin, six point per passing touchdown,
Kirk Cousins or Carson Wentz?
Wentz.
That is it.
Jamie, thanks for hopping on.
For old time's sake, you forgot one question.
I did?
Yes.
What was it? How did the show end? Gotta go bye. Gotta go bye, everybody. Hey, you forgot one question. I did? Yes. What was it?
How did the show end?
Gotta go bye.
Gotta go bye, everybody.
Hey, have a great weekend.
We'll talk to you Sunday night with the recap.
See ya.
