I got almost 45 or so emails in the notes today i'm gonna try to read as many as we can at fantasy football at cbsi.com i am adam azer i have a very sick heath cummings been what a rough week for us so heath we're gonna try to get you out as soon as we can thank you for toughening it out yeah i mean i i know i'm not certain that I'm totally sick yet. Generally, when I start to get sick during football season, I just push it off until after football season and I'm sick for like 10 days after week 16.

So I'd expect I'll be fine. Toughening. Is that what I meant to say? Yeah, I guess that is what I meant to say. I could have said toughing. I don't know. Toughing it out. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Sammy Watkins is not going to be toughening or Toughing it out. Toughing it out. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Sammy Watkins is not going to be toughing it out. He's out four to six weeks with a foot injury.

What do you think? That's not that surprising. I did see one place say that includes the time he missed, which is kind of silly. I think the main takeaway here is he's not playing again in the regular season. Yeah. Kelvin Benjamin, Chris Conley, any interest? They'd better not give Chris Conley snaps to Kelvin Benjamin.

It's Chris Conley, and he's still, for me, just a – I mean, he's very similar to Josh Reynolds, a low-end number three. If he scored a touchdown, it would be better. He is 30% owned. Not a lot of notes to get to. It's about 1.30 p.m. Eastern. Miami cornerback Xavier Howard's out. Cleveland cornerback Denzel Ward is out. And Duke Johnson did return to practice.

Here's an email of the day. Of all these emails, one stood out from the crowd. It's from Thomas. Two things. It's supposed to be super cold this weekend for many games. Does this affect your rankings of certain players like Jared Goff, who has played noticeably worse in cold weather games i don't generally downgrade for cold unless it's derrick carr now maybe i need to look into jared goff's uh history and

maybe it's similar to derrick cars in the cold and i don't love jared goff this week he's not a top 12 quarterback so if you're looking for an excuse to sit him and you want to use the cold, that's fine. I just think you should sit him. Yeah, and he's part of the Bonanza, so that's not good. No, I think Mariota's another guy you would look at in cold weather. I think it was like 40 degrees last night or Thursday night when he played

because he's a Hawaii guy and that could be an issue for him. Yeah, I mean, it is worth noting. It is starting to get really cold. It's not fun up here for most people. It's great for Heath in South Florida. Yeah, I hadn't really noticed. I mean, I did turn my furnace on one night because it was like

Alright, go ahead and go. You deserve it. Take a victory lap on last week. Why? Two weeks ago. It was two weeks ago, wasn't it? When Michelle had a good game? When you told me I was stupid for ranking Sonny Michelle too low. Oh, you had him ranked behind Elijah McGuire in PPR.

Well, this week I've got him ranked behind Jalen Samuels. That's fine. Justin Jeffrey Wilson. I think Gus Edwards and Sonny Michel are pretty similar, except I'm not worried about Sonny Michel's team getting blown out. Yeah, Gus Edwards is getting a larger share of his team's rush attempts. The interesting thing is they are both in spots. The Ravens run more plays than anybody.

And the Patriots run the second amount of plays. But they're both playing teams in the Dolphins and Chiefs that don't run a ton of plays. So it will be interesting to see if they can maintain... To put it in context, a team like the Arizona Cardinals might run 54 offensive plays a game, which is just awful. The average team might run 60 or 61. The Patriots have been running 67 plays a game. 70 for

the Ravens. All season long? Yeah. Here's Kyle. I need four starters and half PPR. Two running backs, a tight end, and a flex. Jalen Samuels is tight end eligible. Two running backs. Jeff Wilson, Justin Jackson, Gus Edwards, Jalen Samuels.

Or do you like Samuels better than Gronkowski? I do. Alright, so Samuels is your tight end. So pick two out of three. Wilson, Jackson, Edwards. Half PPR. I'm nervous about the Patriots. There's too many mouths mouths to feed two of them are going to suck okay well that's yeah all right uh from patrick i was about to make a joke but then i was realized it was going to sound so inappropriate so i stopped making it from patrick i need a miracle or an exorcism my team is cursed i have hunt g, Gordon, Brita, and Mack. I feel doomed. But it's a two-week playoff matchup. Would you rather start Eckler and Jackson in non-PPR? Wait, it looks like most of you would rather start Eckler and Jackson. Or one of them and either Spencer Ware or Marlon Mack? I would start both. And I realize it seems like, man, I'm really limiting my upside

because only one of them can be good. It's the Bengals. That's not true. They might run the ball 40 times. They might both go for 100 yards and a touchdown. Oh, I hope so because I am starting both of them. Except I have not determined if I'm going to go through with it. But right now I'm starting both of them over LeSean McCoy.

I would 100% do that. Okay. From Samson, start two in PPR. Jackson, Wilson, Reynoldsnolds and golden tate jackson and wilson from jake looking ahead what's your outlook for leonard fournette uh looking ahead rest of season i think he's going to be a touchdown dependent number two running back um for his career i hope that he gets on they get a quarterback. I'm much more optimistic about Leonard Fournette.

I don't know what's changed between now and weeks 10, 11, and 12 when he was elite. No worse than RB8. I just don't think you can count on 20 plus carries on a team that bad.

He got 14 on Thursday night, and they lost by 21, I think. They are really bad. Let's see. Their matchups are Washington at Miami and at Houston. You're probably starting him for the first two. I don't—and Week 17 doesn't matter. I'm not even going to be here week 17. I am.

Gronk played in both of them? Gronk played in both of them. Gronk played in both of them. Right. He did catch a touchdown last week. That was nice. Yes, I like Josh Gordon. I think he's playing great, and he could score every game he has a chance to score, but he's not getting the targets.

Micah Carlson says, On Wednesday's show, you all agree that Dak Prescott is not a league winner. I've earned a first round bye, but I'm going to spend this week torturing myself on whether to bench Aaron Rodgers for Dak Prescott in weeks 15 and 16.
