Here we go!
It's time to dominate your fantasy league.
Let's go!
Now, here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie, and Heath.
Got a big surprise for everybody on the mailbag.
I think for the first time this year, it's Dave Richard.
What's up, Dave?
What's up, Adam?
Is this really the first time all year I've been on a mailbag?
I think it is.
This is usually a Ben Gretsch jam.
We had Jamie on a couple of weeks ago.
Ben's doing something.
I don't remember what it is.
Something important right now can't be on the show, so Dave is stepping up to the plate.
He's buying a Christmas
tree. He might be.
I have to go buy
a Christmas tree after
the show's over. A little late, though,
isn't it? A little late for a Christmas tree. You're probably
going to end up with a Christmas bush
or a very tall,
lean type of a tree.
That's just a guess. I'm saying all the
best trees are probably gone. You know what my favorite
breed of tree is?
You have a favorite
breed of tree? Christmas tree specifically.
Yeah.
The plastic ones. That's the one I want to
get this holiday season. I don't think
it's going to happen though. Welcome everybody

I've got over 40 questions in the show today,
so let's get right to the news and notes
so we can read some questions on Apple Podcasts
and via email at fantasyfootballatcbsi.com.
Dalvin Cook and Alexander Madison mispractice.
You know, it's so annoying that it's Monday,
that the game's on Monday
because we get so many Mike Boone questions.
And as far as Mike Boone versus someone on Saturday,
I don't see how you could possibly start Mike Boone
over someone on Saturday, Dave.
We're not going to know enough.
It depends on the depth of your running backs and what you have beyond Boone plus Saturday running back.
Like, are you really going to start Peyton Barber?
No, but I was thinking like we have a Mike Boone versus Brashad Perryman.
I saw like five of those.
I think you have to go Perryman.
So in those cases, I think going with Perryman is fine. And I think you probably are going to go with James White over Mike Boone
if we don't have any clarity on the Vikings situation by the time that game starts.
Devin Singletary?
Yeah, I think you're probably going to end up going with Devin Singletary over Mike Boone then too.
I think a big factor will be what we learn out of Minnesota by Friday night
and into early Saturday morning.
Are they spotted at practice Saturday morning?
Will that report even get out before kickoff of the first game on Saturday at 1 o'clock?
Yeah.
Well, we'll have to see.
And it's obviously not looking good for Cook or Madison,
but the report's been a little bit all over the place.
So we'll have plenty of good questions.
There's been a lot of talk.
Right.
Right.
Cook is talking. Mike Zimmer has said that
Cook looks good and that there's a good chance
with Alexander Madison.
Keep posted to social media

Just tune in and get some
get some fantasy advice.
Detroit is going to be smart
about carry on Johnson's workload
at Denver.
What does that mean to you?
Could mean anything.
It could mean that they barely use him.
It could mean that they lean on him
for 50% of the snaps.
It might mean that they really don't know what to expect
out of him. And they're just going to potentially start him and see how things go and see how he
feels as the game goes on. How do you rank carry on Johnson? He might be a low end number two
running back. Okay. I would, I would prefer to not use him in fantasy this week, but if you're
really stuck at running back, here's somebody that has some upside.
Might get 12 touches.
I would not sink a lot of eggs
into the Kerryon Johnson basket.
Juju Smith-Schuster is not sure if he'll play.
We don't really want to start him anyway.
DJ Chark is questionable.
He actually might play.
And how do you feel about DJ Chark at Atlanta?
He'd be more of a flex that I'd be interested in trying.
It really depends on what the rest of my
I'm going to say this with every question.
It depends on what the rest of my lineup looks like.
He's not a must start by any
stretch of the imagination.
I think he's probably 50-50 to have a good
game with Minshew as the quarterback
against Atlanta. On paper, it looks
like a great matchup, but we saw the
Falcons defense look like world beaters
against the 49ers' receivers last week.
They've been good for several weeks now.
They've been playing well.
They've been up and down for several weeks.
There have been weeks where their pass rush looks like one of the 10 best units in football,
and there have been weeks where the pass rush has looked dormant.
And I'm talking about since the bye, because before the bye, they weren't very good.
And then they just started to—I talked with Pete Prisco about this you can go ahead and drink now but Pete told
me that they're just not thinking as much and they're not scheming as much basically on defense
and they're just letting their guys play and it's made a difference Grady Jarrett has been a huge
factor for them up the gut there have been flashes of good pass rush from Adrian Claiborne, Tack McKinley,
Vic Beasley, and the secondaries
look better because of it. Which
defense are we going to get against Jacksonville? I tend
to believe it's going to be the better
version than the worst version, partially because I think
the Jacksonville offensive line just isn't very good.
Okay, so
DJ Chark, let's talk
about all the Saturday guys compared to DJ Chark.
You've got... Most of them are going to be ahead of Chark.
Okay.
Well, obviously Hopkins is, but what about Edelman and John Brown?
I'll take my chances with them ahead of Chark.
Really?
Okay.
Well, look, are we going to know for sure that Chark's going to play?
In this hypothetical scenario, yes, but in reality, probably not.
Then that answers that.
Okay, then how about Curtis Samuel?
He missed practice.
And what would that mean for Greg Olson
if Curtis Samuel were out at Indianapolis?
I think it would mean good things for Olson
because he would probably move up to being the second
slash third most targeted pass catcher
in the panthers
pecking order from will greer because without curtis samuel on the field i mean there would
be another receiver that would get some playing time for carolina could be jarius right that ends
up seeing more work although he had been their slot guy but i i would imagine that olsen will
come back into a big role maybe they use two tight ends and they have olsen annie and thomas
both play i i'd feel maybe
slightly better about using greg olson if uh if we learn that curtis samuel is out we're debating
whether or not to pull him from the rankings right now okay julian edelman is expected to play
and arizona gm steve kime said that the cardinals would love to re-sign kenyon drake interesting He signed Kenyon Drake. Interesting developments there. I wonder what they'd have to pay him.
Probably money.
Like U.S. dollars, I would think.
Well, sure.
I mean, they could try crayons and dolls,
but I don't think Kenyon's into that.
And I'm sure we have some questions on Edelman.
Not that many, to be honest.
Okay.
I mean, I can give you my thoughts on what I saw.
Jamie was right when he brought it up earlier this week.
He doesn't look the same at all.
He just looks off when he runs his routes.
He's not shedding coverage.
He's not moving as quickly as he usually does.
I actually went back and I watched him play against Buffalo earlier this year,
and he was moving around great in that game.
He moves around great most of the time,
and the Bills just played a bunch of zone defense.
They kept Edelman in front of them,
and then whenever he got the ball, they tackled him.
I think he would need a lot of that in order to be effective for fantasy this week.
He would need to get a big dose of targets.
Last week he didn't, and Brady didn't really throw a lot last week.
I don't know how much Brady's going to have to throw this week.
So Edelman has moved into flex
at best territory and non-PPR
and low and number
two wide receiver in full PPR.
Okay.

Apple podcast questions.
Here we go.
Grant needs to sit a running back.
Chubb, Fournette, Mack, Sanders.
I'm going to sit Fournette
because I don't like how he's played
for most of the last six weeks.
Jaguars are one in five in those last six weeks.
They're not getting into the red zone very
often. I talked about this earlier on the show this week, and I'm concerned that he's not going
to be very explosive. So even when he's getting 15 plus touches, he just hasn't quite delivered,
save for the game when he scored twice from short yardage. Now, I think that makes him a number two
running back. I like the other guys that he had better. From Young
Mart, two-week championship,
I face Lamar, so
I'm down by 30 points.
I don't know if he says...
No, I guess he's assuming. Because I wasn't
sure if he meant like... No, we talked about that. Like, which would
you rather be... If you would take
down 30 against Lamar Jackson right now, would
you take it? Yeah, but I didn't know if he
meant like he's in a two-week championship. That was last week and this week, and he's down 30 against Lamar Jackson right now, would you take it? Yeah, but I didn't know if he meant like he's in a two-week championship.
That was last week and this week, and he's down 30.
Oh, maybe that's what it is.
I think that's what he probably means.
Let's go with that instead of your philosophical,
would you take a negative 30 if you were playing Lamar Jackson?
Yeah, he used the wrong tense there.
I need upside.
Pick two receivers and two flex.
DK Metcalf, Terry McLovin, Robbie Anderson,
James Washington, Brashad Perryman, and Will Fuller. So he gives us two receivers and two
flexes and they're all receivers. So pick four. Metcalf, McLaurin, Anderson, Washington, Perryman, Fullerman. So when I think of high upside plays, Fuller is one of the first names I think of because you know what he's capable of doing.
And anytime the Texans go into a matchup where they might have a hard time running the ball or they're going to have to put points on the board, Fuller's an interesting play.
Both of those things could happen this week against Tampa.
They might have to put points on the board, and I think they're going to have a hard time running the football.
So that makes Fuller one of the starts.
I think Terry McLaurin is another one against that Giants defense.
McLaurin!
I think Rashad Perriman is another one against that Texans defense.
And then that comes down to Metcalf versus Robbie versus James Washington.
I think I'd prefer Metcalf if it's PPR,
just because he's safe with a touch of upside.
Otherwise, I'd go with James Washington if it's non-PPR.
All right, next up is from Rick.
Dear Hank, Scott, Logan, and Gene.
Those are X-Men.
Pick two running backs in PPR.
Kareem Hunt, Mostert, and Laird.
I will sit Laird.
Pick two wide receivers in PPR.
A.J. Brown, Decaf Metcalf,
Galladay, and Robert Woods.
I think I'm ready to lean on A.J. Brown
and Kenny Galladay.
All right.
Sean.
The Robert Woods thing,
maybe it comes down to Woods
versus Galladay for me,
but the matchup is going to be tough
for Robert Woods,
and I do believe that Jared Goff
is going to have to spread the ball
around a decent amount.
I'm changing my answer because I think there will be more targets for Woods
than there will be for Galladay.
So Brown and Woods.
It's still PPR.
Okay, Brown and Woods.
Pick two.
Sean from a city in West Michigan.
City in West Michigan, Grand Rapids.
Pick two.
Mark Ingram, Melvin Gordon, Austin Eckler, Le'Veon Bell.
I'm going to go with Eckler and Ingram,
and it doesn't matter what format we're talking about.
Okay.
From a city just north of Portland.
I don't have a name here either, so you can give that.
It's going to be Bruce from Vancouver.
PPR Flex, Perryman, Miles Sanders, or Michael Gallup?
I think Sanders is probably the safest of the three.
I kind of want to say Perryman,
but I think you're playing with a little bit of
fire there. What if Jordan Howard were
to play? Then I think there'd be
a little more fire with Sanders than there would be
with Perryman, and I'd say Perryman.
All right. And
what else?
Eknog.
Pick two flex... Is that like
Eknog with Ks? Pick flex
and a wide receiver two.
A.J. Brown, Landry, Cup, Mack, Minnesota running backs, Perryman, and Sanders.
I don't know which Sanders that is.
So let's start with the receiver.
I think A.J. Brown is probably the one that you'll start.
Tough matchup, but he's just been playing so well,
so I don't blame you for it.
The flex is a tougher call.
I think Sanders is probably going to be where I land on that one,
provided there's no Joe Ho.
Okay.
So, Miles Sanders, you mean?
Yeah.
What if it's Emmanuel Sanders?
I'm not starting Emmanuel Sanders.
Right.
I'd throw him out, and then it would come down to
I think I would trust the matchup
with Mac if it's non-PPR.
All right. JP
is in a half PPR league.
Pick two. Mostert, Perryman, Cup
and Peterson.
I would pick the first two. Mostert and Perryman.
Aggie Jenna needs a second
wide receiver. Mike Williams, John Brown
or Perryman?
Perryman.
And tight end, Hunter Henry or Johnnie Smith?
Double H.
All right, from B. Wong.
I hope I be right.
Full PBR league.
Pick one.
Mostert, DeAndre Washington,
Mike Boone slash Alexander Madison.
If we know that Madison's going to play and we're sure of it before Sunday.
Actually, we got to be sure of this before Saturday because of Mostert.
You know what?
I'm going to take this chance because I know that Washington plays on Sunday.
We're going to leave Mostert on the bench for this one.
If we know that Madison's going to play, it's going to be him.. If we know that Madison's going to play, it's going to be him.
If we know that Boone's going to play, it's going to be him.
If we're just not sure and it's Sunday
and we're not getting a straight answer from the Vikings,
I'm going to go with DeAndre Washington.
But you've got a bit of a problem here.
What if Dalvin Cook ends up playing?
Then I'm going with DeAndre Washington.
Yeah, but what if we don't know and Dalvin Cook,
we find out 6 o'clock on Sunday,
on Monday rather,
that he's playing,
which really is not that unrealistic.
Well, it depends on how they list him
on the injury report on Saturday
or on Sunday rather.
He's going to be questionable.
Let's say he's questionable.
No, on Saturday.
The injury report will come out Saturday.
Right, but what I'm saying is like...
If he's questionable,
then you're really not sure.
If he's a game time decision...
You need Dalvin Cook to be ruled out.
Yes, you do.
If Dalvin Cook is not ruled out... It would be really helpful if Madison was ruled out as well
for those of us who picked up Boone.
If Dalvin Cook is not ruled out by Sunday,
you have to go with Washington.
I think you do.
This is from the call record,
Need Help Losing My Mind, Higby or Hooper?
I thought he just needed help losing his mind.
Which I would say,
listen to some really bad 80s music, I guess.
I'll go Higby.
And I know I'm on an island with Higby,
but he's played too well the last three weeks for the Rams
to just completely put him back on the bench.
I don't see that happening.
And I also know that the 49ers,
didn't they give up three touchdowns to the Saints tight ends a couple weeks ago?
They did.
Didn't they give up a touchdown to a Ravens tight end the week before that?
They did.
Didn't Austin Hooper nearly have a touchdown last week against the Niners?
He sure did.
So I'm,
I'm going with Higby.
Okay.
Uh,
running back Connor Montgomery,
Peterson,
Washington,
Ronald Jones,
Boone.
He needs to Connor Montgomery,
Peterson,
Washington,
Jones, Boone. I'd be a Connor, Montgomery, Peterson, Washington, Jones, Boone.
I'd be...
Connor, I would put in.
And then we can say the same thing about Boone and Washington
that we said with the previous question.
Okay, would you start Washington over Hooper?
Because you can flex Hooper.
If it's PPR,
I'd probably still go with Washington over Hooper.
I'm not supremely confident
in Hooper. I like him, but not
supreme. This is from Aaron and Karen.
AJ Brown
or Devante Freeman, PPR.
10-point bonus for 100 rush receiving
yards. I'll go Freeman.
Yeah, but that's the thing.
I would too, but that bonus
is interesting because Freeman
is almost certainly not good.
Well, I wouldn't say that.
Against Jacksonville, you never know.
He's unlikely.
He hasn't had 100 yards rushing or receiving once this year.
He's not a burner like he used to be,
but you never know.
If he ends up getting a lot of work,
he might be able to crack 100.
He might be.
He might be.
But I think if I had to gamble on somebody getting 100 yards,
it would be A.J. Brown over Freeman
because it's not 100 total yards.
You've got to get it either rushing or receiving.
But still, go with Freeman.
And this is from jdub24.
Starter sit in a standard scoring league.
Two running backs, Mostert, Washington,
Connor, Fournette, Mack.
Mack and Connor. Connor over Mostert, eh. Mack and Connor.
Connor over Mostert, eh?
I think so.
And one wide receiver.
Sutton, Parker, A.J. Brown, Robert Woods.
Parker.
And a flex.
Washington.
From everybody that you already said.
Uh-huh.
And it's standard score.
You've got to have Marlon Mack in there.
Yeah.
Oh, wait, didn't I already say it?
Yes, you already did.
I'm sorry.
Mostert?
Mostert?
A.J. Brown?
Mostert or A.J. Brown.
I think I might go...
No, I'd go Sutton.
Sutton.
Okay.
I like Sutton this week.
I like the Broncos to just lay a heap of points on the Lions.
Oh.
Okay.
That was an interesting noise.
Well, I don't really like the Broncos to lay a heap of points on anyone.
Well, what's your definition of a heap?
25 or more.
Okay.
They won't get that many.
So, a Broncos version of a heap, which is like 21.
Gosh, I have such an issue right now, Dave.
What's the matter?
I have to sneeze, but it's not going to happen.
Why?
Just tickling my nose.
It's just not going to happen.
Get out.
It's gone.
No, it's still there.
Well, anyway, let's do some regulating.
One fantasy regulator, then we'll read your emails at fantasyfootballatcbsi.com.
Sounds like you need to do some regulating on your nostrils.
Yeah, sounds like it. This is from Jason.
He's writing us out of desperation.
Will you read this on the air as unbiased parties?
Please help my Dynasty League recently moved platforms.
We copied the scoring from the previous platform
and imported it to the new platform
and reviewed it as a league best we could tell.
Reviewed it as a league best we could tell.
In our constitution, it reads that we vote
on any changes to scoring format.
The previous format read there would be
a three-point passing bonus, quote,
at 300 yards. The new platform had a range that said 300 to 399 yards. I assumed, and I assumed
the rest of the league assumed, that passing the 300-yard mark, those points would still be given.
Well, Jameis Winston finished with 458 yards in Week 15,
and I lost by.7 points.
But the three points were never awarded as they were not in the 300 to 399 range.
My goodness.
They were 458.
The mistake has not been caught.
This has happened, by the way, four previous times
and nobody caught it. So that's kind
of an argument against him getting the points.
So what do you think should happen?
Should he get the three points or no?
He should get the three points. Absolutely.
This is a technical error.
It's clear that the
commissioner or the league voted that
if you got over 300 points, you
get the bonus. this is over 300
yep that's that's a really funny like oops i messed up the setting situation but yeah you
got to get the points and i heard another story that regulated kind of similar to this where my
buddy was supposed to get two points for his dst and uh the league never actually set that
it's a long
story, but he should have had two points, but there was a league
setting that was done incorrectly
and it needed to be done now and they did it and he fixed
it and he got to advance in the playoffs. Good, good,
good. That's almost as good as a
hot Little Caesars pizza. Have you ordered
a pizza online from Little Caesars
yet? If not, you're missing out on Pizza
Portal Pickup. This is so cool. What
is Pizza Portal Pickup? It's like getting a pizza right
out of the oven yourself. You walk
in, you enter a code on the portal, a door
opens, and you're off with your favorite pizza.
And whatever pizza you order, it'll have
crazy, crazy amounts of toppings.
It's fun. Give it a try,
but it's only available at Little Caesars
Pizza Pizza.
And for some reason, one thing I know about Dave,
he does not like mushrooms on pizza.
It's disappointing.
Yeah, he always has that reaction.
Alright, here you go. Your email is
fantasyfootballatcbsi.com
From Paul in Baltimore, Raheem Mostert or Mike Boone?
Full PPR.
I would lean toward Boone.
But this is the thing.
You gotta go Mostert.
Sure.
If we don't know the status of the Vikings running backs by Saturday,
then Mostert is who you have to start. Even if there's a question.
Unless they tell me.
If I have Mike Boone and Mostert,
and they say Dalvin Cook and Alexander Madison are out,
then I'll play Boone.
If they say anything other,
if there's even a chance that one of those guys plays,
I've got to go Mostert.
It's got to be most.
I agree.
I understand.
There were reports out of Minnesota at around noon Eastern time on Friday about whether or not the Vikings running backs were practicing.
So I would think that they'll practice at the same time on Saturday. So I would, right around 12 o'clock, start looking for reports on Twitter,
for example, for
Vikings running backs and their
participation levels in practice.
Because you don't want to not use
the Mostert and then have to play
catch-up with Mike Boone.
Then you're going to be starving for points.
From Matthew,
what do you think? What do you think about those buds?
I missed it.
Mostert, ketchup, starving?
I'm sure you relished that joke.
Big time joke right there.
All right.
From Matthew, pick two half PPR.
John Brown, John Ross, Darius Slayton, Boston Scott.
Oh, my God.
You poor thing.
I think Slayton and Brown are the two that you'll start.
From Anthony, half PPR, pick a flex.
Mostert, DeAndre Washington, Mike Boone.
And that's it.
Mostert, DeAndre Washington, Boone.
You'll start Mostert for sure.
And then you'll just wait and see.
Only one.
No, he just needs a flex.
Crap. So in this case,
maybe you leave Mostert on the bench because Boone's
upside would be great to have, and if not, you go with
Washington. Hopefully you've got an answer
to the Vikings' running back situation by
Sunday afternoon.
Sit two in PPR from Andrew in Portland.
Sit two.
A.J. Brown, D.J. Moore,
McLaurin, Edelman, Boone
The last two
I'll sit Edelman and Boone
From Steve
Dear Wendy's, Burger King, and McDonald's
Referring to a joke Dave made during the podcast
A couple of weeks ago that I still think is very funny
Thank you very much Steve
I don't remember the joke
We were talking about all the
I can't remember exactly what it was
No I can't remember exactly what it was.
No, I can't remember, but I know that I made a joke.
Steve will probably remind us.
He'll send in an email. Was it when I recanted the I'm loving it story?
I don't know.
It might have been.
Okay.
It feels like I made the joke three years ago.
I lost Godwin last week.
I've lost confidence in Cooper Cup, so I need two of
these three. Cooper Cup, Cortland Sutton,
and A.J. Brown.
Sit the guy that you've lost confidence in
in Cooper Cup. And I'm not being funny.
I think Sutton's got a great matchup, and I think
A.J. Brown's got too much upside to sit.
From Omar, start two,
half PPR. Mike Boone, Devante
Freeman, Kenyon Drake, and Patrick
Laird.
Freeman and Drake.
Even if the Vikings running backs are out?
Are we going to know?
You know, I'm almost wondering, since we have so many questions with Boone,
if we should just kind of approach it as if he's the starter.
Because obviously if he's not, you're sitting Boone.
And you just have to know how to find that information out.
And I think we've laid out what to do and when to look for it.
All right.
Well, Freeman and Drake are good options anyway.
And I would assume that by, let's say by 5 p.m. Eastern on Saturday,
the Vikings injury report will be out.
This is from Mike. Dear Herschel, Darren, Robert, and Adrian.
Vikings running backs.
Yeah.
Who's Darren?
The Darren threw me off.
Who is that?
I'm not sure.
Darren.
I'm going to tell you his name,
and you're going to go,
Oh, Darren.
Yeah, I don't know.
You couldn't find it.
So, pick two.
Connor, Fuller, T.Y. Hilton, DeAndre Washington, Michael Gallup.
Darren Nelson is who I think he meant
because he belongs in the same echelon of Vikings running backs
as Robert Smith, Adrian Peterson, and Herschel Walker.
I would pick
I would pick Connor
and Fuller.
From Adam. Dear Miles,
Jordan, Boston, and Jay, this
question has nothing to do with Eagles running backs.
Start one PPR. James
Connor, Robert Woods,
Devin Singletary, and Brashad
Perryman.
I think I would tempt fate with Woods.
I think he's got the most upside in full PPR.
From Travis, PPR, start one in my flex.
Mike Boone or Tyler Lockett?
Lockett.
Who would you start if you knew the Vikings guys were out?
Also Lockett.
From Brian, dear Pete, Roger, Keith, and John.
Who?
I think so.
I know.
I was saying like...
It says so at the end of the email.
It is the who,
but I was saying like,
you know, who?
You know, like who's on first.
Half PPR championship game.
Help is needed.
Wide receiver.
One wide receiver,
one running back,
and a flex.
Keenan Allen or DJ Moore?
Moore.
Mark Ingram, Marlon Mack,
Phillip Lindsay, and DeAndre Washington.
Oh, it's so close between
Ingram and Mack.
I kind of want to say Ingram. I know
Mack's got the great matchup, but I think I feel
a little bit better about Ingram.
And then pick a flex between Keenan Allen,
Mack, Lindsay, and Washington.
Well, then I could start Ingram and Mack, right? But then I'm leaving Keenan Allen, Mack, Lindsay, and Washington? Well, then I could start
Ingram and Mack, right?
But then I'm leaving Keenan Allen
on the bench.
I think that's what I would do.
Okay.
From David,
would it be crazy to start O.J. Howard
over Mark Andrews or Austin Hooper?
I think it would be
because I just think
there's too much uncertainty
when it comes to O.J. Howard.
How much work he'll get, how effective he'll be.
I'm tough to trust him.
And would you start Jordan Aikens over Jack Doyle?
No.
And pick two running backs.
Aaron Jones, Austin Eckler, Devontae Freeman, DeAndre Washington,
and Kenyon Drake.
Freeman and Eckler.
Pick two wide receivers, Sutton, Keenan Allen, Anthony Miller.
I'd sit Sutton.
Is it PPR?
It's half PPR.
Then I think I'd sit Miller.
Now, one of these emails was from David.
I've been reading all these questions, and
I don't know that all of them are from David. Some of these are from
Nilesh. So
pick... What'd you
do? You combined two people's emails into
one mega mail? I didn't put a space.
Meg email? Meg email.
Pick a tight end. Is it Zach
Ertz or Darren Waller? Ertz.
Okay, thank you.
From Garrett,
should I replace Dalvin Cook with Tyler Lockett,
DeAndre Washington, or Raheem Mostert?
Half PPR.
I would plan on replacing him with Lockett.
From Eric in Houston.
Looking for the question.
Okay, there it is. I need help deciding who to play
as Dalvin Cook is looking more and more doubtful.
This decision is probably the most important one of the season
and may win or lose me the title.
You're kidding.
All right.
Would really appreciate your opinion.
So pick one.
DeAndre Washington, Brashad Perryman, Mike Boone, Alexander Madison,
Adrian Peterson, Carlos Hyde.
Not going to be Hyde.
I don't think it's going to be Peterson.
You've got both the Vikings running backs, right?
Yeah, yeah.
Let's do that.
Let's do that.
Let's go with one of the Vikings running backs.
Thank you.
Eric from Houston.
Let's see.
We've got a few more.
We've got a lot more, actually.
This one comes from Anthony in Virginia.
I'm in the finals in a half PPR
league. That's also four point per passing
touchdown. I have Dak and Zeke. I'm
worried about Dak's shoulder and going
all in on the Cowboys. Should I start
Fitzpatrick, Dalton, Rivers, or
Minshew over him? I would take the chance
on Rivers over Prescott. They're back to back
in my rankings. I think Rivers has a great
matchup, great track record against the Raiders,
and I could see him go off.
I'm a little worried about Dak having a big game.
Path PPR, pick
four out of these six.
Julio, Diggs, Woods, Beckham,
Edelman, Gurley.
I would sit
Edelman and Beckham.
From Bill, PPR,
Perryman or Boone?
Yeah, see, we kind of addressed that.
You got to go Perryman there, most likely.
Mm-hmm.
Did I ask you this yet?
I'm not sure.
Okay, let's say we get a report Saturday morning,
Dalvin Cook and Madison are out.
Would you go Perryman or Boone in PPR?
Perryman.
Okay.
This is from John.
Dear Jimmy, Bing, Chevy, and Bruce,
those are, according to John,
incorrectly, Christmas movie stars.
Oh, stop.
That's what he said.
He said Bruce...
They are Christmas movies.
Bruce Willis.
They are not.
Three of them are.
Which one is not?
You're saying Bruce Willis is not.
Yeah, of course.
We had the guy who wrote the movie on our podcast.
And you admitted to him that it was a Christmas movie.
Be polite.
When he wrote...
I can't believe you.
When he wrote Die Hard, he said he didn't think it was a Christmas movie.
Right?
Didn't he say that?
It wasn't until he was on set and he saw the Christmas stuff that he thought it was a Christmas movie.
It's a Christmas movie.
Okay, whatever.
Who are you, the writer?
Pick two.
Devin Singletary, James White, and Brashad Perryman.
I would say White.
From?
No name here, Dave.
It's probably from Santa.
Dear Dasher, Dancer, Comet, and Vixen.
I better get this right.
Otherwise, I'm going to get coal in my stocking.
I have a bunch of running back choices.
I need three non-PPR.
Devante Freeman, James Conner, Kenyon Drake, Raheem Mostert,
DeAndre Washington, Alexander Madison, Mike Boone, and Kerryon Johnson.
I'd go Freeman, Conner, and a Vikings running back.
All right, just hope Cook doesn't play.
From Ryan in Iowa.
Hey, John, David, Butch, and Jimmy.
Hmm.
John, David, Butch, and Jimmy.
Struggling here.
I feel like I should know this.
Butch Davis and Jimmy Johnson.
Right.
That's why I was thinking, are they Hurricanes coaches?
But I don't think they are.
I don't know if there's a John or a David that coached in Miami.
Could it be just coaches that were on?
I don't know.
All right.
I'll hit the Google.
PPR, pick a wide receiver and a flex.
Well, David could be Wanstead.
So who's the John?
Because Wanstead, Butch Davis, and Jimmy Johnson coached together.
Yeah. I don't know who the John? Because Juan said Butch Davis and Jimmy Johnson coached together. Uh, yeah.
I don't know who the John was.
Thanks, John.
Good call.
So this is kind of funny.
Well, not really.
I thought this email had some humor in it, but it doesn't.
But never mind.
Neither does this segment of the podcast.
This is terrible.
Pick a wide receiver and a flex.
A.J. Brown. This is terrible. Pick a wide receiver and a flex. A.J. Brown.
This is terrible.
Danny Amendola, Rashad Perryman, Darius Slayton, and DeAndre Washington.
I would go with Brown and Perryman.
From Craig, non-PPR.
Ingram, Mack, Boone, pick two.
Ingram and Mack.
Yeah.
I don't care about the Vikings, who's playing or who's not,
when it comes to those three.
Yeah.
John, David, Butch, and Jimmy.
I just don't know.
Are you Googling while I'm answering questions?
No.
Yes.
From Kevin.
I have a wide receiver three and a wide receiver tight end spot to fill.
So pick two.
Christian Kirk, Adam Thielen, T.Y. Hilton,
Mike Williams, and Jacob Hollister.
Hollister is giving me bone-chilling nightmares.
I think they're all giving him...
Yeah, deciding between these
is giving him bone-chilling nightmares.
It's bad.
I like Mike Williams the best.
And I think Hollister might be it.
Might be the other one to go ahead of Hilton, Thielen, and Kirk.
I kind of have a feeling that T.Y. Hilton can be okay this week.
I've been thinking that too.
Yeah.
But I'll take Hollister just because I think that it's probably more likely
he scores than Hilton scores.
Yeah.
Hilton had nine targets last week, and he played half the snaps.
So I'm getting a little more optimistic about him.
I have to make a decision about Hilton.
Probably going to leave him on my bench, though.
I don't blame him.
From Casey, hey, Dennis, Charlie, and Mac.
Dave, you know that.
I do?
Yeah.
When is it?
It's always sunny in...
Philadelphia?
In a city south of New York.
Okay.
Continue on with the unfunny part of the podcast.
Oh, come on.
Nick Chubb, Chris Carson, Leonard Fournette, and Melvin Gordon sit one.
Chubb, Carson, Fournette, Gordon.
I'll sit Fournette.
Okay.
Dave, sit a running back from this group.
Let me see.
Frank Gore,
Miles Gaskin,
Leonard Fournette.
You want me to say the start?
Tevin Coleman.
Are you going to sit Fournette in that group too?
No. Okay. Definitely not. I sit for that group too? No.
Okay.
Definitely not.
I just thought you hate.
How much upside does he have?
He has plenty of upside.
He's got some upside.
I don't have a name or a city here.
It's probably Leonard from Jacksonville.
Dear Buddy, Santa, Leon the Snowman, and Miles Finch.
This is Elf.
This is Elf.
Great movie.
Full PPR.
Pick two wide receivers,
two running backs,
and a flex.
All right.
Two wide receivers
out of Devontae Adams,
DJ Moore,
Edelman, Sutton,
Perryman, and Fuller.
Adams and Moore.
Two running backs.
Fournette, James White,
Singletary,
and DeAndre Washington.
Oh.
Will Fournette make the cut here?
Fournette, James White, Singletary, and Washington. He's going to make the cut here. Fournette and Singletary, and DeAndre Washington. Oh, will Fournette make the cut here? Fournette, James White, Singletary, and Washington.
He's going to make the cut here.
Fournette and Singletary.
Now pick a flex.
You've got Edelman, Sutton, Perryman, Fuller, White.
I'll go Sutton.
Sutton over Washington.
All right, from Lalo.
My coworkers and I run five parallel 10-team PPR leagues.
Each of the leagues end in week 15.
Week 16 is a five-way battle between all the champions,
and the champion and runner-up win money.
This is very cool.
This is great.
Do you get what they're doing here?
Yeah.
The same 10 people, five different leagues.
The same 10 people, five different leagues? Right. No. So the same people draft five different leagues. The same 10 people, five different leagues?
Right.
No.
So the same people draft five different times.
No.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure.
Unless you think it's 50 coworkers.
I think it's 50 teams.
Otherwise, you could have multiple of your teams in the championships.
Well, that would be the idea is that if it's a parallel league, you could win more than one of the leagues. Oh, you think so? And have more your teams in the championships. Well, that would be the idea, is that if it's a parallel league,
you could win more than one of the leagues
and have more chance to win the championship.
I interpreted parallel as just like,
you know, they're connected and side by side,
which, you know, only half of that is what parallel means.
Yeah, but I have a hard time believing
that there's 50 people organized enough to play
in five parallel universes.
Well, this is the first year that
Lalo has made the finals.
So, pick a wide receiver and a flex
in PPR. Devante Parker,
Anthony Miller, Raheem Mostert,
Mike Boone, and DeAndre Washington.
I'd go with the receivers, Parker and Miller.
Last email is from
Colin in a college town in Colorado.
Boulder. Colin in a college town in Colorado. Boulder.
Colin in a college town in Colorado is good alliteration.
So is this.
Dear Dion, Dante, Desmond, and Devin.
Hmm.
I mean, I'm thinking like defensive.
Dion Sanders, Desmond Howard.
No, I have no idea.
I have a 10 team.
I have a team in a, excuse me, I have a team
in a tiny eight team league.
I know you've argued about this on the pod before, but I think
tiny leagues are very tough because start your studs
doesn't narrow things down enough. So pick two
running backs, two wide receivers,
and a flex in PPR.
Barkley, Bell, Gordon, Jacobs, DeAndre Washington.
I'd go with Barkley and Gordon.
Pick two wide receivers.
Cooper, Keenan Allen, Parker, A.J. Brown, and Perryman.
Allen and Parker.
Flex me.
Tempting to go with A.J. Brown as the flex over Amari Cooper.
Let's do it.
Let's have some upside.
Wow.
Wow.
Who would you go with?
You'd go with Cooper?
Yeah, I'd go with Cooper.
I mean, wide receivers have plenty of upside against the Eagles.
I know, but this guy has a quarterback whose shoulder isn't doing so well.
That's fine.
He's also got Marshawn Lattimore.
Let's go tit for tat.
Sure. Well, then maybe the answer is Brashad Perryman. doing so well. That's fine. He's also got Marshawn Lattimore. Let's go tit for tat.
Well, then maybe the answer is Brashad Perryman. Isn't the answer
always Brashad Perryman?
The answer is definitely one of the wide receivers.
Although DeAndre Washington is really
not a bad option here.
Barkley, Bell, Allen, and
Parker are the musts.
Barkley, Gordon.
Thank you. Barkley, Gordon, Allen, and Parker are the musts. And then you Barkley Gordon. Barkley Gordon. Thank you. Barkley Gordon, Allen, and Parker are the musts.
And then you, sir, have fun out there in Boulder.
Woo!
Dave, good job.
Thank you.
Happy holidays.
And have fun on the radio show tomorrow.
I'm upset that I won't be on the radio show with you.
It's going to be a lot of fun.
We should have a little bit more clarification
on the Vikings running back situation by then.
So 10 p.m. Eastern,
Saturday night, CBS Sports Radio,
CBSSportsRadio.com,
Sirius Channel 206.
Keith and I are going to give everybody
a DFS lineup to use in a cash
game so you can make a little extra money
this holiday season.
That works for me. I could use some of that.
Alright, I'm off to buy a Christmas tree. Hopefully one of those
plastic ones. For Dave, I'm Adam saying...
