It's your championship edition of Fantasy Football Today in 5.
Let's get those lineups set.
Good morning.
Happy Sunday.
Yeah, let's make it a happy Sunday.
Let's go win a league right now.

By the way, once this season is over, we're not going away.
We'll have some off-season and Week 17 content for you.
Let's start with the Cleveland Browns, Heath, at the Jets
without most of their key wide receivers, Jarvis Landry and Rashard Higgins,
the headliners there.
So what does that mean for Baker Mayfield?
What does that mean for Kareem Hunt, et cetera?
Give me the scoop.
If you were having any debate about Baker Mayfield versus Mitchell Trubisky,
Baker Mayfield versus Russell Wilson, any of those guys,
I'm sitting Baker Mayfield.
His number one wide receiver is Marvin Hull, and that is the only wide receiver who was
on the active roster who is going to be playing.
And Marvin Hall has only been on the active roster for the Browns for a couple of weeks.
So I do think it's a small boost for Kareem Hunt, who I wouldn't be surprised if we see
a little bit more at wide receiver.
It's a boost for Austin Hooper in terms of the number of targets that he
should see.
And listen,
they may just run it 75 times with Nick Chubb.
So I feel pretty good about him as well.
I,
I don't really want to mess with any of the Browns wide receivers.
Marvin Hall didn't quite crack my top 48 at the position,
but he's not a bad punt play in DFS or a desperation play.
If you need help,
a wide receiver.
I want to go back to Kareem hunt though.
I mean,
how,
how far up did you move them?
If at all,
because yeah,
I mean,
you said they might run it with 75 times with,
with Nick Chubb.
What if it's 50 for him and 25 or a hundred,
you know what I'm saying?
They just go very run heavy here.
And I feel like this would boost Kareem hunt to a more confident start.
I don't think I would.
Jamie was the one who was really down on Kareem Hunt earlier in the week,
and I didn't disagree with him too much, but I had him around 20.
He's somewhere between 15 and 17 now.
So from a low-end number two running back to a mid-range to high-end number two
running back for Hunt, and he could be.
That's not his upside. He could beend number two running back for Hunt. And he could be, like, that's not his upside.
He could be a top 10 running back this week.
We saw earlier in the season he and Nick Chubb both were.
So that's in the possibility.
But this is still a pretty good Jets run defense too. You mentioned some of the quarterbacks, and I'll finish with this.
You mentioned some of the quarterbacks you'd play Mayfield over.
But if we go farther down the list,
Phillip Rivers, Andy Dalton,
Jared Goff, those types of players.
Is Mayfield even in your top 24
at this point?
He is still in my top
24.
Is he behind those guys? Barely.
Is he behind Goff? Is he behind Dalton?
He's behind Goff.
He's behind Roethlisberger.
He's right there with Dalton.
Okay.
Um,
yeah,
right,
right in that,
uh,
QB 24 range in non Brown snooze.
Ezekiel Elliott expected to play sit them both.
Powered Elliot.
It would be bad.
Could sit there.
I got them both ranked somewhere between 25 and 30 at running back.
I think there's,
there is some upside for Zeke
if you don't have a good option at flex or running back.
Same thing for Pollard.
We don't really know what the split will be.
James Robinson is out.
Pick a Jaguars running back,
and would you start him over Zeke or Pollard?
I would not.
I'm picking Zigbo, but with very little confidence.
He and Daria Gumbawale are right around running back 35 for me.
They're in the Peyton Barber range.
Phillip Lindsay is out.
It's Melvin Gordon time against his former team.
Tyreek Hill is expected to play, but he will be monitored.
Any hesitation with Hill or Mahomes against Atlanta?
No, no, no.
It's a little bit scary with Hill, but you don't have much choice you're starting him
uh terry mcclure is out but antonio gibson is in i think this is the most difficult call i mean
antonio gibson would probably be a top 10 running back this week if he were fully healthy but what
are your expectations and how good of a start is he against carolina A mid-range start. You don't feel great
about it as your number two running back, but
I think
you could still see somewhere between
10 to 15 touches. That's
kind of the expectation I have, and
it's not a bad matchup
at all.
I think he's the most likely
Washington football team running back
to get a carry from the one-yard line, I would expect.
Well, do you like McKissick or Gibson better?
I'm going to go with McKissick in full PPR, Gibson in none.
All right.
And Gibson in half, too.
All right, so let me talk to you about a couple of wide receiver situations.
First of all, Marquise Brown expected a play.
John Brown could be activated, but we just don't know,
and that's going to make a tough decision for Cole Beasley managers.
We don't know what's going to happen there.
And that's a Monday night game.
But if you need, your Cleveland guys are out, something like that.
You're looking at Washington without Antonio Gibson.
You're looking at the Chargers possibly without Keenan Allen.
Both those games are in the later portion of the schedule.
Who are the sleepers on either Washington or the Chargers
or anywhere else that you'd be recommending?
Yeah, I think the most interesting one on the Chargers,
especially if we knew Keenan Allen went out,
would be Tyron Johnson.
He is running a little bit fewer of the deep routes.
Actually, more like a regular receiver instead of Guyton who's just
going deep all the time um I think if you were like I said if you had to have one of the Browns
guys I would go with Marvin Hall but he's not right not going to be in my top 48 and if I was
looking for one more uh Cam Sims has done some really good things when they've thrown in the football
and i don't think there will be a ton of targets available but i think cam sims is pretty interesting
as well okay and i guess final question here is like if you faced alvin camara does any of this
matter should you just kind of fold it up and accept second place uh you should not do that
weird things happen every single week and there are going to be
people who started Alvin Kamara and
lose their fantasy championship. I
guarantee it. Maybe. I mean, Jamie
thinks he might be one of those people. He's in like a
50-50 situation. He had Breeze
and Kamara, so he was happy, but he
wasn't super happy because of Breeze. All right.
Well, good luck to all of you out there. This has been an extended
