Skip it.
Prince Fluffy's favorite treats?

My neighbor's nightly saxophone practices?

Get excited.
We're talking about rookies that we're most excited about
in 2024 right now on Fantasy Football Today.
Woo! Express.
All right, everybody.
Dave is excited about nine rookies in particular.
I guess that they're ADP.
I don't know what it is,
but nine rookies that he gave me a list of.
I bet we could find some more if we really wanted to,
but we'll stick with these nine.
Marvin Harrison is the first one I'm going to ask you.
Marvin Harrison or Saquon Barkley?
Ooh, I'll take Saquon unless I just want to avoid early round running backs.
And then Marvin Harrison is totally fine to fall back on.
I'm anticipating him to see a ton of targets in Arizona's offense.
Kyler Murray threw the ball pretty well last year, coming back from his ACL,
regular off season for him.
He's going to get in sync with Marvin Harrison.
This is going to be the number one target getter in an improving ascending Arizona offense. And I think he's
also going to be a big time target in the red zone. There's potential for a hundred catches,
1300 yards, double digit touchdowns. Yes. It's from a rookie. Yes. It's somebody that's never
played in the NFL before, but someone with the absolute type of pedigree and draft profile that makes you want to trust he's around to pick Marvin Harrison.
Malik neighbors is next Malik neighbors or Amari Cooper.
You know, I'll probably end up taking Cooper over Malik neighbors because I can't get as
excited about Malik neighbors quarterbacks.
And I wonder if that's going to be what holds them back,
but I'm pretty much convinced at this point that the giants offense has to
revolve around neighbors.
If they want to be competitive this year,
remember there's no more Saquon Barkley.
There's a lot of other decent receivers in New York,
but not anybody with the type of acceleration downfield speed and certainly
catch radius and size physicality that Malik
neighbors has I think that he's easily going to be the top target getter in New York I just don't
think there will be quite as many as Marvin Harrison and I don't know if there's going to
be quite as many touchdowns either I am warming up to him as a round five pick some people take
him in round four I'm not there yet Ladd McConkie is next So we've talked about Harrison and Malik neighbors. Now, Lad McConkie, would you rather have Lad McConkie or Jaden Reed?
I'll take Reed, but I'm a big Reed fan. So maybe you're, you're different. You might differ on
that one and that's okay. The projection with McConkie is that he's going to be the chargers
number one target getter, not as explosive as the first two rookie wide receivers that we talked
about, but certainly in position to be in that seven to seven and a half target per
game range from Justin Herbert dude gets open very easily.
Just great route runner,
good hands,
little undersized.
That's another thing that might make some kind of a nitpick compared to the
other two.
If you can get them in round seven,
I think you're doing okay.
And full PPR.
What do you think about this team name?
McConkie Kong.
Not bad.
Not bad.
It's not from me.
It's from someone in the chat.
All right, next up.
In that case, I love it.
Yeah, I knew you'd like it more once you found that out.
Brock Bowers.
Yeah.
Bowers is a rookie you're excited about.
Brock Bowers or Jake Ferguson?
I kind of want to chase the upside with Bowers and that might end up being a big mistake and
Jake Ferguson kind of the safer plan, but I love Bowers size, speed, versatility. I think he'll be
number two in targets in Las Vegas. I think the Raiders would be smart to get him involved near
the goal line,
as well as just everywhere else on the field.
He is that type of player.
Many camp reports were overly positive on him.
I think he can be an absolute difference maker for Las Vegas and someone who
could be potentially a top six tight end in fantasy on a per game basis.
As soon as this year.
And how about we do a few more after this commercial break on fantasy football
today,
express we'll be back after a word from our sponsors,
whether in the game or in life,
the right coverage can make all the difference.

Harrison, Malik Neighbors, Lab McConkie, and Brock Bowers. Let's get to some more rookies that Dave is excited about. Blake Corum is one. I'm going to give you another rookie to compare them to. Would you rather have Blake Corum. He's physical grinder back, someone that we've seen in college just absolutely
dominate. Basically, he scored in all but one game last year in Michigan and scored in a bunch
of games the year before. He's used to being a bell cow, won't have to be a bell cow. Perfect
type of running back to throw on your bench, especially when the starter in front of him,
Kyron Williams. Yeah, awesome year last year. Can't take that away from him. Maybe Corum steals
some touchdowns,
and we know that Kyron Williams does have a tendency to miss playing time.
He missed it last season.
His rookie year, he missed a ton of games.
He's already been hurt technically this offseason.
I think that there is going to be some weeks where Blake Corham absolutely shines,
and we've seen Sean McVay be very fickle with his running backs.
He pivoted very quickly last year from cam acres to Kyron Williams.
What if Kyron Williams gets off to a slow start this year and he pivots to
Blake Corham and Corham ends up being the lead ball carrier for the LA Rams.
That's an offense expected to score a lot of points.
Now let's get to a quarterback.
You're excited about Jaden Daniels.
I'm excited about him too,
but I'm excited about Caleb Williams.
Also Dave,
who would you rather have Jaden Daniels or Caleb Williams?
If it's redraft, it's Daniels.
If we're thinking more long-term, I'll take Caleb Williams.
And Caleb Williams, I saw in person at minicamp, made a ton of great throws,
not very many bad throws.
So I'm encouraged by him.
But Jaden Daniels is just going to run more.
We saw it at LSU, and we saw him improve as a thrower at LSU as well.
It's been exciting to watch during the draft process and now to see him acclimate quicker
than expected, I'd say, into that offense.
He's got a good number one receiver in Terry McLaurin.
I think that Jaden Daniels does have a chance to finish as a top 10 fantasy quarterback
this year.
I'm not drafting him as a top 12 guy.
He's just outside there, but absolutely the type of blue chip,
high upside quarterback that you draft in round nine.
And you might end up starting by week four.
So recap so far,
Marvin Harrison,
Malik neighbors,
lad McConkie,
Brock Bowers,
Blake Corum,
Jaden Daniels.
Those are six.
And that's in the order I draft them in as well.
In a one QB PPR league.
So let's talk about three late round picks,
Roman Wilson,
Luke McCaffrey, and Dylan lobby, Roman Wilson, Luke McCaffrey,
and Dylan lobby,
Roman Wilson,
Luke McCaffrey,
and Dylan lobby.
Are you really drafting any of these guys?
The best news is you don't have to,
if you don't want to.
And these might be more for deep league plays,
but if the Steelers do nothing to improve their receiving core,
I wonder if the door is open for Roman Wilson to be number two on that team and targets great route runner, great catch radius. A lot of the things I said
about other players, but he's a little physical as well. And I, and he was that lead target guy
and red zone option for Michigan. I know Michigan didn't throw a lot. They didn't have to
that Blake Corum, but I think that Roman Wilson's a really talented wide receiver.
And we know the Steelers have a pretty good track record of taking day two and day three
receivers and turning them into fantasy studs.
I think that Roman Wilson could be next in line for that.
And then you mentioned Luke McCaffrey.
I just, I like how he's already trying to change his role a little bit in Washington.
And the fact that he's familiar with the GM and the coaching staff is starting to warm
up to using him in a variety of different ways. Somebody that I wouldn't mind starting the season with on my bench,
just to see what happens. Does he get only two or three touches in week one, or does he get five or
six? And does he end up playing half the snaps? I think the door is open for him to be at minimum,
the number three receiver for Washington, maybe even the number two wide receiver,
and certainly somebody that can be used in a variety of ways. And then Dylan Laube, a senior bowl special,
good passing downs back. I don't think the Raiders have one of those guys
other than Laube. Exceptional hands, somebody that can run routes as well.
Could be a factor, could be like his ceiling could be Jalen Warren from last year. That's
10 PPR points per game. That's not a bad thing to have when you need a running back in a pinch from week to week. Well, that is Dave Richard. And I'm Adam Azer,
and this has been Fantasy Football Today Express, the first week of FFT Express. I hope you all have
been enjoying it. A little bit more extensive, a little bit more detailed than FFT in five.
