Beat the waiver wire.
Maybe week 14 doesn't matter for you.
So let's look ahead to week 15 right now
on Fantasy Football Today Express.
Yeah.
What's up?
Adam and Dave here, Friday afternoon,
beating the waiver wire.
Just like a couple of dudes,
just beating the waiver wire
and getting ahead of the game.
All right.
Just being fantasy nerds
because we want to win our leagues.
I don't know that you have to go crazy at quarterback.
Cause there are some pretty good options.
I really like Will Levis.
Will Levis has great schedule,
has a great schedule coming up.
He has Cincinnati, first of all, Jacksonville this week,
Cincinnati next week at the Colts,
which isn't necessarily great.
And then at Jacksonville in week 17,
but just for next week, Will Levis has Cincinnati.
Jamis Winston is another guy that matchups don't really seem to matter for Jamis Winston. He has Kansas City next week. And then you've got two guys who we talked about this week that continue
to have great matchups basically throughout the rest of the way. And that is Cooper Rush. He's
at Carolina next week. And Aiden O'Connell who gets Atlanta on Monday night.
But Levis would be preferred to those guys and I would say Jamis too.
And then there's Anthony Richardson who's 65% rostered.
Richardson has Denver next week. That's the issue here.
So I would say that if you have a first round by locked up,
Anthony Richardson is the guy I would go to. You don't have to start him at Denver.
You can start him after that. So good options at quarterback, Dave.
I agree.
And also Aaron Rodgers at Jacksonville. Like if you're desperate, you can beat the waiver
while you don't necessarily have to go do it. Now there should be plenty of, uh, plenty
of teams, plenty of quarterbacks available for you. Did you do DSTs?
I did.
Okay. Uh, but we can go to running backs first. Let's get some running backs to stash.
I'm cool with that because I think DST is the most interesting. We'll save that one
for last. First, just desperation running backs for this week. Zach Charbonnet checked
for him. 29% available. That's in the event that Kenneth Walker III does not practice
on Friday and does not play on Sunday. We are recording this Friday midday. I don't believe
the Seahawks have even sniffed a practice field yet, so we just don't know. Same thing with Sean Tucker in Tampa. If
Bucky Irving plays, obviously Sean Tucker would be a no-go. But he's available in 85% of leagues. I think he would
split with Rashad White. If you're desperate for running back this week, Sincere McCormick, still out there in 78% of CBS Sports
Leagues, and I think he could be the lead running back for the Raiders. Antonio Piers has talked about giving him
more opportunities in their offense. He's earned them. Jerome Ford, also a good desperation running back. Braylon Allen,
if there's no Brice Hall, would immediately catapult to the top of this list. 43% available. Other stash guys moving forward,
Jaleel McLaughlin, Kamani Vidal, Jeremy McNichols, Blake Corm, those would be the ones.
Do you know if Bucky Irving practiced today? Pretty much all of the relevant Buccaneers practiced
today. So scrape anything about Sean Tucker off of your memory. He's not going to matter.
about Sean Tucker off of your memory, he's not going to matter. Two IR stashes at running back. Kendra Miller, who could be back this week for the New Orleans, and then Austin Eckler
might get to use them in fantasy championship week, and he's out there in a handful of CBS
sports leagues. All right. I really like the McLaughlin call. I'd like to see where that goes.
I have him stashed in a few leagues coming uh, coming off 14 carries for 84 yards. And
the week before that he had seven carries for 44 yards. I'm pretty sure he left with
an injury. So he was, and then he came back, I think. But, but anyway, uh, we'll see if
they go with McLaughlin a little bit there. All right. Wide receivers to stash Dave.
My favorite wide receivers to stash are still Browns players. They haven't been picked up
across the board yet. It's Elijah Moore at 60% available. Cedric Tillman is 41% available.
At this point, I'd rather have Moore because I know he's going to play. I do not know if Cedric Tillman is going to clear the concussion protocol and be available this week.
Other wide receivers to keep an eye on, Keon Coleman should be back soon for Buffalo. He's available in a little more than a third of CBS Sports Leagues. Romo Dunze, if there is no DJ more this week, he would step up and be a much bigger part of Chicago's
offense. He's available in the same percentage of leagues as Keon Coleman. And then two other wide
receivers that got a lot of volume last week, we can see where it goes. Adam Thielen with the Panthers,
Parker Washington with the Jaguars, both of them available in more than 50% of leagues.
But the one other receiver that I would check for is IR eligible, and it's Marquise Brown.
He's available in 85% of leagues. People have not picked him up.
We don't know when he's gonna come back,
but the word is out that he will be back for Kansas City at some point. Might be week 16,
might be the first round of the playoffs.
Nobody knows for sure, but it doesn't cost you anything to stash them on your IR.
You can do the same thing with Alan Lazard, but that's really literally the least fun thing you could possibly do for your fantasy team.
And I think stashing tight ends is not that fun too.
What do you think?
No, but you need to check for Jake Ferguson, who is still available in half of CBS Sports Leagues.
Adam, here's his schedule.
Cincinnati in week 14, at Carolina in week 15, Tampa Bay in week 16.
And then he's got Philadelphia in week 17.
I don't know if we're going to love him then, but who cares?
That's so far away.
That's like, that's like four weeks away.
So like we don't even have to worry about that.
And Ferguson has been cleared from the concussion protocol. love him then. But who cares? That's so far away. That's like, that's like four weeks away. So like, we don't even
have to worry about that. And Ferguson has been cleared from the concussion protocol, you can lit, pick him up
off the waiver wire and start him this week. Hunter Henry, 36% available, no easy matchups, but he's so involved in
what the Patriots are doing. I'd love to get him. And then the other guys that are stashable, they've got some decent matchups coming up. Will
Disley this week and next week for him. I'd like him better if there's no Lad McConkey, but beggars can't be choosers. If I'm
streaming, he's an option. And then in week 15, Dalton Schultz against Miami, Chigga Conquo against Cincinnati. And
Cincinnati is the matchup that we're really trying to target. A lot of good tight ends are playing them between now and the end of the season, Ferguson being one of them,
but O'Connor could end up getting, I don't know,
maybe a touchdown against Cincinnati in week 15.
You didn't say Jutavean Sanders, did you?
No.
I mean, you love Jutavean.
He's coming on.
He had three catches for 49 yards
on 18% of the snaps against the Chiefs. He's the only tight end
to score against the Giants this year. The week before that, he had four catches for 87 yards.
He's pretty good, I think. But it's really just for deep leagues. And he gets, and I don't want
him this weekend. He's not Philadelphia this week, and he is back this week. Deeper leagues? Yeah,
he's a staff. Let's see. Yeah, let's see one matchups he
has after Philadelphia, Dallas in week 15. Arizona and week 16
at Tampa Bay and week 17.
All right, we got to take a break. Come back and talk about
some DSTs to stash after this on FFT Express. Okay, we're back.
I had so it's a weird. It's a weird use of your voice. How you say express,
it's a change it up a little bit, but it's usually kind of like a powerful whisper.
But who are the powerful DSTs we need to stay with a careless whisper.
All right. So the matchups I'm targeting Giants, Jets, Falcons, Jaguars.
OK. My gosh. All right. I'm going to start over because hopefully that gets edited out. So no one hears that except for me, sir. Claire three, two, one. All right. DSTs, the matchups
to target giants, jets, Falcons, Jaguars, Patriots, Titans, and the Raiders.
I might get a little skittish on the Raiders to be honest with you because if Aidan O'Connell
has another good game this week, that might be one that won't be as good as I thought.
First things first, check for the Ravens DST.
They play the Giants in week 15, 32% available and some managers might cut them on Saturday.
You know, they're on buy, they might cut them to pick
up a different defense to use this week. But the Ravens, when they come off the buy, holy hell, that defense should be
great. I listed these DST as two out of three ain't bad, because I think they've got two out of three matchups that
ain't bad. Cardinals DST, Falcons DST, Colts DST, and the Commanders DST. My favorite combo is to go with the Cardinals DST starting this week and then all the way through week 16, and then you pivot to the Colts DST in week 17 because they take on the Giants Cardinals.
This week they've got Seattle, then they've got the Patriots, and then the Panthers after that. You could also go with a Giants combo. Here's who the Giants are playing the rest of the way. Saints,
Ravens, Falcons, Colts. A lot of people have already picked up the Saints DST. I don't know if you're going to be
able to get your Cloppies on the Ravens DST in Week 15, but after that it's the Falcons and the Colts. And I mentioned
the Falcons before. They do have the Raiders in Week 15, Giants after that, at Washington in Week 17. If they stay feisty like they were last week,
then that's a DST that I could see myself buying into
down the stretch.
Okay. Thank you, Dave.
Let's read a few questions here.
Will you read them in a normal voice or in a whispery voice?
I could read it in the sexy sax man voice.
No.
Feelin' or Westbrook-Akinae?
I just lost my appetite for lunch. I in or Westbrook. A Kene.
I just lost my appetite for lunch.
I would start Westbrook.
A Kene.
Did we talk enough about feeling on the main show?
Not really.
He, he was very good at beating zone coverage last week.
So just like settling in underneath five, seven yards away
from the line of scrimmage,
catching the ball and then getting tackled. He needs volume. His touchdown was nice. I'll give him credit for that, but
he cannot beat man coverage. I don't think he'll see a lot of man coverage this weekend. It's Philly.
He's not bad, but I'd rather have Westbrook Ekeena.
Drop Disley or Kinkade?
I'm expecting Kinkade to play, and I'd rather have him than Disley.
You know, the thing I noticed about, I don't know if you watched Adam Thielen's feet when
you were watching his tape, but he's got these guilty feet and they've got no rhythm, Dave.
All right.
Ravens or Vikings DST rest of scripted for a second, but I thought you were going
to say guilty feelings got no rhythm.
Oh, that could be his guilty season.
I think I'd still rather have the Vikings.
Is it guilty feet or guilty feeling guilty feeling?
I thought it was.
Oh, I thought it was guilty feet.
Like his feet have no rhythm. I got to get the lyrics,
the careless with how you're going to like, yeah, I'm that rabbit hole. The last thing I need in
week 14 is a George Michael Wham lyrics rabbit hole. I clearly secure Isaac Arendo PPR.
Garendo Broncos or Ravens DST. I guess that's the rest of season thing. Yeah, it's the Broncos.
Why you know pick my question. I didn't see your question.
Remember the why you know thing? Saints DST or Chargers DST?
It's the Saints DST this week.
Yeah, this says, Genius.com says guilty feet, but I don't know.
Maybe it is. What do I know?
Grendel or Bucky Irving.
Damn it. Now I've been exposed.
Now you know that I'm not a huge fan of Wham.
Our producers are such a fiend.
Such a fiend.
Irving practicing, that's good.
I will take him over Garendo.
And Kinkade or Jawan Johnson, PPR.
I believe I will end up ranking Kinkade over Joann Johnson.
Okay, we will talk to you on Sunday.
We'll see you Sunday morning, 1130 a.m. Eastern.
Have a great weekend, everybody.
Have a great weekend and hopefully you heard some names to pick up before you go-go.
Express.
