No bye weeks in week eight.
Well, what does that mean for beat the waiver wire?
Dave, look, I'm shocked.
Tells you everything.
We'll tell you right now on FFT Express.
And welcome, everybody.
All right, yeah, so there are no teams on a bye.
So big schedule, full slate,
but still players to be picking up right now.
Dave Richard, who should we be looking at?
Well, first of all, I do want to point out who's on by in week nine. It's the Steelers and
the 49ers. And if the 49ers are on by in week nine, maybe that means Christian McCaffrey is
on his way back in week 10. So if my team's got a really good record, I'm going to go try and find
the manager that's got Christian McCaffrey and see if I can work out a deal to get him on my
roster for the stretch run for the playoffs. Uh, hopefully while his value is still pretty low. But that's not somebody
that we can find off the waiver wire. I would like to start with the defenses, Adam, because I think
that that's a position that people stream often. And I think that there's going to be some options,
not only for this week, but moving forward, that you'd like. The Chargers make the most sense of
anybody. They're going to take on the Cardinals in week seven, potentially without
Marvin Harrison jr. And then after that, it's the saints who we just saw on Thursday, LOL.
And then they're at Carolina in week nine. So there's a three week stretch, maybe even a four
week stretch for the chargers to be a good DST. Others that I would stream right now are the Rams
and the Bengals. And the ones that I would go and pick up for week eight are the Chiefs.
They've got the Raiders.
The Bears have the Commanders.
That's a tough matchup, but the Bears have been so good.
And the Lions, even without Aiden Hutchinson, they're taking on Tennessee.
That's usually been a good source of fantasy points.
Okay.
It's a great place to start.
I had the Chargers, the ESD circled as well.
All right.
How about the offensive players?
Let's start a quarterback.
The ones that I think could be good beyond week seven.
Honestly, I don't know if I've got a great one for like week eight.
So if you're streaming quarterbacks, it's probably guys that are already rostered in a bunch of leagues.
I was looking at week nine Dalton against the Saints, Matthew Stafford.
Maybe he'll have both of his guys back by the time he
takes on Seattle in week number nine here's one for week eight Justin Herbert taking on the Saints
we're going to pick on them Herbert doesn't throw a lot not a lot of upside with him but maybe you
can squeeze out 20 fantasy points yeah Trevor Lawrence against Green Bay is interesting to me. And then the best beat the waiver wire to me is Tua Tungabailoa.
Yeah.
50% rostered.
This is Arizona in week eight.
Pretty good and bad schedule, but a good enough schedule,
but a really good matchup in week eight if he is back.
Obviously, we don't know if he's back.
Right.
We have to say that we don't know when Tua Tungabailoa is going to come back.
We just know that he plans to come back, and hopefully he's back right we have to say that we don't know when to a tongue of aloe is going to come back we just know that he plans to come back and hopefully he's doing well and he'll practice
for a week or two before the dolphins put him back on the field but when he comes back that
whole offense should change dramatically okay my friend who else uh on offense running backs
receivers tight ends i like that justice hill is taking on the browns in week eight it's a weird
name to start with but we know that cle Cleveland's run defense is legit. We just saw
what they did to Saquon Barkley. And when the Ravens typically take on teams that slow down
their run game, they take to the air and Justice Hill gets more opportunities. So he's one that I
would go with. There's a bunch of running backs that are still like interesting that you could
use this week, week seven. there's Garendo sermon and
Goodson for the Colts. Sean Tucker is still pretty under-owned. He could end up being the best
running back in Tampa. And then guys that are stash worthy. I don't know if I would start any
of these guys anytime soon, but just to have them on the bench, Trey Benson, Jalen Warren, Jalen,
right. Come on. If it all Roshan Johnson is a deep-league stash.
Okay.
And you didn't say Zemir White, right?
I would never.
Okay.
We're trying to help people.
Bears wide receivers.
They're at Washington in Week 8.
They are.
Who's available on the waiver wire?
You can get Keenan Allen or Roma Dunze, perhaps.
Right. Not more. But the other guys uh are fairly available
that I think they're in the 60 something percent range sure um Jalen Tolbert is a good stash
receiver uh they're taking on San Francisco in week eight it's not an easy matchup but I do think
that they are gonna I think there's the die is cast on Dallas and they're going to be chasing
points in a lot of games and as long as uh Brandon Cooks doesn't come back, Jalen Tolbert's going to be in a position to put up some good points.
Again, like the running backs at wide receiver, I see guys that are good to start right now.
Demario Douglas does have tough matchups after this week.
But holy cow, man, we've talked about how good he is.
And he's still out there in about half of CBS Sports League's.
Xavier Liggett plays Washington this week.
Whittington and Atwell, if there's no Cooper Cup.
Tyler Lockett and Atlanta this week.
He's got the Rams in week nine.
Quentin Johnston has the Cardinals this week.
He's an interesting stash.
You know what that Chargers schedule is already.
Romeo Dobbs is a decent stash.
And what about this, Adam?
If Deontay Johnson gets traded, does Adam Thielen become a sneaky fantasy receiver, especially in PPR leagues?
Yeah, and if you don't want to go that route, you can look at Xavier Liggett.
He's like 34% or 41% roster now.
Yeah, but that's another guy that absolutely should be on fantasy benches at bare minimum.
Okay, yeah, and Juju in shallower leagues is still available in a decent amount of leagues
actually yeah hopefully he practices on friday by the time you guys watch this you might already
know whether or not juju's playing or not in week number seven tight ends guys you can start this
week i'm not even thinking about week eight as much as week seven but hunter henry kate otten
dalton schultz noah fant they top the list Keep an eye on Jatavian Sanders. Adam, you brought him up on our show on Friday.
I think that Sanders does have potential,
especially if Deontay Johnson gets traded out of LA,
out of North Carolina.
NC.
NC.
And Dalton, sorry, Cole Komet.
Cole Komet's 74% rostered, so he's on a buy.
Yeah.
I'm not really a big Cole Komet guy,
but if you are, he might be out there because he's on a buy this week'm not really a big colt come back guy but if you are he's he
might be out there because he's on a buy this week all right we'll take a break and answer some
questions when we come back on fft express did you know that across ontario utility damage happens
19 times a day that's over 4222 incidents a year don't let your next dig be one that causes costly
delays or safety risks before you break ground make it a point to request a locate.
It's not just the law.
It's a step to keep your team and community safe.

Okay, so here's some questions.
Kirk Cousins or Drake May?
Cousins.
Evan Ingram or Brian Thomas Jr., PPR?
BTJ.
Chase Brown or Raheem Mostert?
I'm going to lean toward Chase Brown.
Raheem Mostert or a Colts running back?
I believe I like Mostert better than a Colts running back.
Should I drop Braylon Allen for
Sean Tucker? I would do that, but you've got to be patient with Tucker. I would not do that.
I feel like, look, likelihood is that neither of those guys are worth starting, right?
So you've got now. Yeah. But who's got a better chance to be a must start? It takes one injury for Braylon Allen.
It takes two for Sean Tucker.
What if I told you that I thought that Sean Tucker could have,
if he continues to play well,
could just be the lead back in Tampa sooner than later?
No, man.
Like based on one game, what has Bucky Irving done?
Bucky Irving has been awesome.
He was good in the game too,
but Sean Tucker looks like the best overall
running back in that
backfield. I don't know. All right. Well, then
why wasn't he playing ahead of Bucky Irving? Because he had
one better game than Bucky Irving, but Bucky's been
really good basically every chance
he's gotten.
I go with the two-headed
monster instead of the three, but all right, you heard
it from Dave. He thinks he's just,
Sean Tucker just has a better chance of ascending than
Braylon Allen, Evan Ingram, Sam Laporta, or Tucker craft.
You have to drop one rest of season.
Oh, for the rest of the season.
Oh, I can't drop Laporta.
I just can't do it.
I think I'm going to drop craft from that group of three.
Would you trade one of those guys?
Would you trade? Would you trade Puka for Deontay Johnson and Jalen Waddle?
Oh my gosh, yes.
I'm getting those two guys for Puka Nakua?
Yeah.
Yeah, definitely, yes.
Geno or Mahomes?
Geno.
Sam Darnold or Brock Purdy?
Darnold.
Kincaid or Kraft?
I believe I have Kincaid higher.
And Juju or Ridley?
Well, if he plays,
Juju is the easy call.
James Cook or David Montgomery?
Montgomery.
And by the way,
while we're on the subject
of Beat the Waiver Wire,
any interest in a Tennessee-wide receiver
next week?
Who do they have?
They have someone good,
right?
Next week.
They play the lions.
Yeah.
Any interest?
Well,
Hopkins would be the one who's probably most available.
You could stash him.
He should be on the stash list.
Okay.
That's Dave Richard.
I'm out of major.
