Welcome to Fantasy Football Today Express.
It's our dream scenario for the NFL draft.
All right, Adam, Dave and Jamie are here.
We're doing a fun little exercise on the exercise I'm doing today.
And we're going to give our dream scenarios.
We're doing it in a draft style.
And we're not going to snake it.
We're going to do an NFL draft style.
All right.
So, Jamie, I'm going to give you the first pick.
What's your dream scenario?
I'm going to go, I guess I'll go with the best fantasy player.
I'll go Jeremiah Love, and I want to see him in Washington.
Okay, how come?
Well, I think when you look at it, to me the most logical choices would be Washington or Tennessee,
based on how this draft is going to unfold.
And I think if you're talking about the backfield staying as they currently are,
then Love has a chance to easily be the featured option in Washington
while splitting some work with Rashad White in some capacity.
In Tennessee, it could be a little bit more messy because of Tony Powell still being there
and what could happen on rushing downs.
I think Love can go into Washington right away.
And as we saw with Rashad White and Tampa Bay, even in Bucky Irving's rookie season,
like he'll still have moments and still be useful to his team.
But I think, you know, same thing could happen in Washington where Love's talent just
completely overshadows everything else that they have there.
And pairing him with a running quarterback like Jane Daniels, I think, would be special.
So that would be my favorite destination for him.
All right, Dan.
I hate the Arizona talk, by the way.
I hope that doesn't happen.
Yeah, you know, Arizona.
has got three running backs.
I feel like at this point,
the Jeremiah Love could run right through them.
I agree. I don't disagree with that,
but I don't think that, first off, Tyler Alder is not going anywhere.
And we saw what that was like for Bejan Robinson as a rookie.
And then I think we'll see one of the other two guys stay,
most likely Benson.
It could just be ugly on a bad team.
I would rank it Tennessee, Arizona, and the Giants,
is the order for where I'd like to see Love go.
But Washington would be at the top of the list.
I don't think he makes it that far.
Okay, you're saying Washington would be one.
And then Tennessee.
Correct.
Okay.
Dave, Jeremiah, I love is off the board.
Your selection?
So I want to go.
I mean, everybody would say, yeah,
send this receiver to Buffalo.
But I think it's realistic that Casey Concepcion could go to Buffalo
and be a souped up version of Khalil Shakir.
I don't even know if that's fair to Concepcion.
He could end up being a big time target getter there,
used in a variety of ways.
I love the speed, the change of direction.
I do wish his hands were a little bit better, but that's something that they can work on.
And ultimately, he could be a huge contributor to Buffalo long term, not just short term.
He could be good.
He could be the number two target getter in 2026, but in 2027, 2028, 29, Conception
could be the man.
Okay.
I'm going to take Carnell Tate.
Now, I couldn't figure out which wide receiver I wanted to mock to this team.
I'm going to take Carnell Tate to Washington.
Obviously, in the scenario, Jeremiah, I love is not quite to Washington.
Right. I'll take Carnal Tate to Washington. I thought about it, guys, we've got Washington and New Orleans with back-to-back picks seven and eight. And you think about, they look kind of similar. One's got McLaurin, one's got OLAVe. But if I, you know, have an interest in a rookie wide receiver, I'd rather him be competing with McLaren. McLaren's older. He's kind of out of his prime at this point. He's never had a target per out-run rate higher than 22.4%. Just not a big target earner. Olave, on the other hand, just had a
target per out run rate of 26.7%.
His, Olava's lowest target per out run rate of his career is higher than McLaurin's
career high.
And he feels maybe more like a young ascending player.
And he's had a lower A dot than McLaren in two straight seasons.
So I think that Olavet is stiffer competition.
And I think than McLaurin is.
And I think Tate would fit in well with Jaden Daniels because Daniels can control the
ball well downfield and in the intermediate area.
So so far we have love to Washington.
We also have Carnell Tate to Washington in this silly scenario.
Maybe we should have done the draft for the team and the player off the board.
I think in your scenario obviously is more realistic because I do think, as Dave said,
that Love does not make it past the top five overall picks.
And we see receivers going to the two teams you mentioned.
So that's most likely what's going to have happening.
Although it's going to be interesting now with Jordan Tyson,
the workout that he had to see sort of leapfrog and become the most coveted receiver.
That's I think the one everybody's watching right now.
All right, Jamie.
You got the commercial break to think about it.
Who's next in this draft?
We'll be right back on FFT Express.

And we're back. Jamie, have the last two seconds brought you more clarity. All right, so we've got
Love, Tate, and Concepcion off the board. What's next for you? Yeah, I'm hoping this is actually
probably my favorite running back destination is Seattle. And so looking at what the Seahawks have
available to them and when they decide to take a running back, obviously Love is not going to be
available to them. I'm going to take Love's teammate. I'm going to take
price and hopefully he ends up there.
You know, you're starting to hear that he's the second running back that is most likely
going to get drafted and would have been a more coveted prospect if he got the opportunities
in college to get those chances.
So I hope that that's the route Seattle goes and ends up getting, if not Price, Mike
Washington, those are, you know, two and three for me in terms of the guys in this class.
But get someone who could come in and either be the bridge to Zach Charbonnet coming back and
who knows when that will be or maybe be the eventual Ken Walker just,
overall replacement as a lead running back for the Seahawks for a couple of years.
So I hope we get a running back to Seattle.
I don't think it will be at 32.
They have surprised us before, as we all remember, Rashad Penny.
But hopefully they end up getting a guy that could, you know, step in and be the
workhorse running back that right now I think that they're lacking.
I thought you were going to say they surprised us with Charbonnet because he, I think he did that too.
Yeah, second round pick, 50 second overall when they already had Walker.
All right, Dave.
So I guess Jadarion Price is off the board.
Who's next food?
Rashad Penny takes me back.
I'll take Kenyon Sadiq to the Panthers.
I talked about that on Monday's show that he's a great fit there.
Just a tough size speed matchup for defense is good short and intermediate area target for Bryce Young.
I think the Panthers need somebody like that.
And I think he'd be the easy number two target getter, if not the number one target getter in some games for the Panthers.
And I think it's realistic that he goes in the middle of round one.
and that's when the Panthers pick.
It's funny to say that.
I've been doing the fantasy draft wants and don't wants for every team.
Yeah.
Sent the NFC South in.
And I try to like marry our CBS draft analysts with their mock drafts,
you know, if it sort of matches up.
And Prisco is the only one that had that exact marriage of Sadiq to the Panthers,
which I think makes so much sense.
And it's, you know, this stretch in the draft of now the job,
Giants have the 10th pick. Let's assume Sadiq's not a top nine pick.
Giants have the 10th pick.
They don't need a tight end.
Let's say that they won't take one, but they don't need one.
They just paid for one.
Yeah, but you know, teams are crazy about tight ends.
They draft like the Ravens just said they're going to draft two tight ends this draft.
So the dolphins, I don't know that they're taking him at 11.
Cowboys don't need one.
Rams don't need one.
Ravens might take him.
Bucks, I would not want to see Sadiq on the bucks.
Jets don't need one.
Lions don't need one.
Vikings.
Lions might need one.
Who?
Lions?
You think it's why?
I mean, LaPorta's name is getting floated in trade talk.
I don't know how real that is.
But then the Panthers are next.
So the Panthers make sense for him.
All right, I'll go here with, you pick your receiver.
I love Mackay Lemon.
I'll take Jordan Tyson though to the Dolphins.
You know, Dolphins picking 11.
This is an opportunity for kind of a worst case scenario,
I feel like would be a Teteroa McMillan type season,
where, you know, you get, you're not necessarily a great offense,
but you're going to get the lion's share of the targets,
whether it's Lemon or Tyson, going to the Dolphins.
It just makes a lot of sense there.
So I'll take that.
I wonder if they, if they play it out more where they get the receiver at 30
as opposed to taking it with 11.
Yeah, right.
But I'd rather, I'd rather see Tyson go.
Control your own destiny.
There than Boston go there.
I think, you know, I'm sure you guys discuss.
this on the Monday episode.
But with the Giants getting the 10th pick now
and receiver still being what I think is a need for them,
I wonder if Harbaugh goes, how much influence he has,
but Harbaugh goes to try and get his Ray Lewis and Ed Reed
with styles and downs at 5 and 10,
or does he go and try and get his running back and wide receiver
and take love at 5 and then maybe Tyson at 10?
I think they traded away Dexter Lawrence
if they spend the top two picks on offensive players,
it would be criminal.
One of those guys has to play.
Right.
I think Sonny Stiles...
Not if you get offensive line in Jeremy, I love.
You go love him, fans.
Yeah.
But that's the last place I want to love to go
because Scataboo can take that short yardage roll pretty easily.
All right, that's it for FFT Express.
Six fun draft picks for you.
Can't wait for this thing to actually happen.
And we'll be back with another edition of fantasy football today on Wednesday.
everybody.
