A lot of difficult decisions for fantasy managers.
We're going to help you out right now on Fantasy Football Today in 5.
Good morning, everybody.
It is Sunday, and it's time for some football games here.
But what about the Patriots and the Chiefs?
And we do have some good news about the Saints and the Lions.

Heath, good news.
It was a false positive for the Saints,
so it looks like all systems go in that game, Saints and Lions.
Well, all systems except for Michael Thomas.
He will not be a go.
But, yes, Alvin Kamara will be there.
Emmanuel Sanders, they will be playing the Lions.
You can start your Saints and Lions except for Michael Thomas.
What a stressful day yesterday was.
More positive tests coming out in Tennessee.
Of course, we know the Chiefs-Patriots game is going to be moved to Monday or Tuesday.
Real quick, before we get into that, you've got to tune into CBS Sports HQ.
Download the CBS Sports HQ app.
This is exactly perfect for a situation like this.
Fantasy Football Today is live from 10 a.m. Eastern until kickoff.
So download the CBS Sports HQ app.
Watch it on your connected device.
If you have the CBS Sports app on your phone, you can watch it there.
Plenty of ways to watch it.
Go to CBSSportsHQ.com, but make sure you're checking it out.
Also, I've been talking about the uh the twitch
stream that we're going to do for the patriots chiefs that's now going to be for the bills and
the raiders which should be another very good game um that's that's a 4 25 p.m eastern game
four o'clock eastern on twitch bills raiders will be hanging out for that one okay what are we doing
with the chiefs and patriots right now what would you tell fantasy managers? I have changed my rankings to reflect
how I would handle the Chiefs and Patriots if I was in a league. Some of our leagues,
and I think this will be unique, but some of our leagues, Jamie and Dave and you,
as commissioners, have said, you guys can name replacements. And if they play on Tuesday,
you can use them. And if they don't play on Monday or Tuesday, then you can use the replacements and if they play on Tuesday you can use them and if they don't play on Monday
or Tuesday then you can use the replacements on Sunday if that's the case then you don't really
have a lot of decisions to make other than make sure you have a replacement my rankings are to
reflect leagues where that's not the reality and so I got to Patrick Mahomes is not a top 12
quarterback for me in my rankings right now I think you if you have two quarterbacks and you
have Mahomes you're probably just starting
the second guy. It's possible
we'll get more information before
kickoff. The ideal situation
would be
if you have Travis Kelsey
to have Robert Tanyan as your second
tight end, so you could wait until Monday
evening to make that decision. If you have
Patrick Mahomes, I think your best case is probably
Nick Mullens, so you could wait until Sunday evening to make that decision. If you have Patrick Mahomes, I think your best case is probably Nick Mullins. So you could wait until Sunday evening to make that decision. Every intention as of Sunday
morning, they did not have more positive tests on Saturday. Every intention is we're going to play
the game Monday or Tuesday. But we just told you the Tennessee Titans a week after the start of
their outbreak just had new positives that were not positive a week ago
so this is completely up in the air i think it's pretty easy to mostly get away from the patriots
with brian hoyer likely as their starting quarterback i don't think you want to start
any of them anyway so probably just get away from them with the chiefs if you could get a
sunday night or monday replacement, that would be ideal.
Okay. Good luck to everybody out there. I really hope they play that game. We want to watch it.
We want to see it. All right. We got some big news here. Chris Carson is expected to start.
Joe Mixon is expected to play. Are you comfortable starting either of these guys? Carson at the Dolphins, Mixon at the Cowboys, or Mixon against Jacksonville? More comfortable starting Carson.
It doesn't sound like Carlos Hyde may be available for that game. So it might be Carson and Travis Homer. And it's a very good matchup against the Dolphins, I think. So Carson's a borderline top 12, top 15 type running back. when he was 100% I didn't feel great about it. I would definitely start Devin Singletary, Daryl Henderson,
David Montgomery, James Robinson, Mike Davis.
What's that?
Ronald Jones.
Ronald Jones.
All of those guys over Joe Mixon.
Okay.
Before we get into some quick starters,
sit.
Are you, as of right now on Sunday morning,
are you putting Calvin Ridley, Julio Jones, Russell Gage in your lineups?
Yes.
The way I said it on Twitter on Saturday was my teams have been decimated.
I drafted too many Titans, Steelers, Chiefs, and Patriots.
The news has been mostly encouraging about those Monday night wide receivers.
If they don't play, I'm going to lose with a bad replacement anyway.
I'm putting them in my lineups.
There's too many players missing between injuries and the COVID
situations. We're going to have to roll it with
Julio and Devontae Adams. The news has been
very encouraging, including Russell Gage
and Calvin Ridley. I'm just
starting them all. Starter sit, Terry
McLaurin or Odell Beckham?
I'm going with Terry McLaurin. He's
shown a pretty safe floor, even against
good corners of 11 to 13 fantasy points.
Baltimore certainly has good corners, but there's also a chance that we see a quarterback change in this game.
I'm not sure that would be a bad thing for McLaurin because Dwayne Haskins has been terrible.
I'm going to go with McLaurin.
Would you start Hunter Renfro over one of those wide receivers, McLaurin or Beckham?
I would not, but Renfro is in the same discussion as
Beckham as a low-end No. 2,
high-end No. 3 in PPR.
Actually, take that back. In full PPR,
I would start Renfro over Beckham.
Let's fire through the rest of these. Ready? Brandon Cooks or
Justin Jefferson?
Brandon Cooks. Ronald Jones or Daryl Henderson?
Daryl Henderson.
Ronald Jones or Odell Beckham?
That one will be format-dependent. Jones and non-Beckham and PPR. Ronald Jones or Odell Beckham? That one will be format dependent.
Jones and non-Beckham and PPR.
Mike Davis or DJ Chark?
I'm starting Mike Davis over almost everyone.
He's a top 12 running back for me.
Devin Singletary or T.Y. Hilton?
I'm starting Devin Singletary over almost everyone.
He's a top 12 running back for me.
All right, we went a little long today, but you needed it.
We had some big information to get to you.
