Starting point is 00:00:00 All right, let's do some start or sit right now for week nine on Fantasy Football Today Express. Welcome, everybody. It's Adam and Heath here on Sunday morning. And we're getting you ready, you know, with not a ton of injury updates, thankfully. But we got to talk about that Packers Lions game because Jordan Love is expected to start. It is going to be apparently very rainy there. A soaker, I believe is what our guy Kevin Roth on Roto Grinders called it. This is one that he's worried about. Also a little bit of concern for the Monday night game, Tampa Bay and Kansas City. What are you thinking about

Starting point is 00:00:35 that game with rain in the forecast? So I kind of have a rule that I don't really adjust when Kevin Roth puts a game at yellow, but if he puts a game at orange, I adjust a little bit. If he puts a game at red, I adjust a lot. This one's an orange. It's not just rain. He basically said it's gonna rain through the entire game, and we may have 15 mile an hour wins with gusts up to 30. So I'm going to make an adjustment to both teams to be a little bit more run-heavy. I would not expect the passing games to be quite as good. I was already a little bit more run heavy. I would not expect the passing games to be quite as good. I was already a little bit skeptical of Jordan love coming into this game with an injury. Um, and really the guy who I think I might've been really a lot lower than

Starting point is 00:01:13 everybody else on was Jared Goff because we know how much better Jared Goff's been at home slash indoors than he has been outside. He's never thrown for more than like 250 yards at Lambeau field. He has one game with multiple touchdown passes and now it's going to be raining indoors than he has been outside. I want to start the running backs. You have, you're going to start them on Ross St.

Starting point is 00:01:34 Brown. Um, Jayden Reed's tough. Yeah. All right. Tough. It's tough. So, um, would you start to Mario Douglas or Jayden Reed? Cause Drake may definitely Jayden Reed over to Mario Douglas.

Starting point is 00:01:46 Okay. But Jay, Drake may is going to start. So does the Mario Douglas regain that may at least pick them up appeal? Yes, it's, it's 100%. This whole thing's still kind of a theory. We had basically one game where it looked really good. We heard from the Patriots that connections there. And then the next game, Douglas gets hurt.

Starting point is 00:02:02 And then the next game was sick and the next game Douglas gets hurt. And then the next game was sick. And the next game may get hurt. So yes, roster to Mario Douglas, I'm not planning on starting them anywhere. Let's talk about the Tennessee New England game here. Mason Rudolph expected to start. Tajay Spears is out, but Tony Pollard is trending in the right direction. It seemed the Schefter bait, it seemed like he was going to play. Rappaport had a tweet that was a little bit less convincing on Tony Pollard, but where are you at with the entire Titans offense? I am planning on starting Tony Pollard. I am probably starting Calvin Ridley in most spots.

Starting point is 00:02:36 Um, I, I've seen some people go pick up Julius chestnut. I think that makes a lot of sense. He'd be a flex if Pollard was out. But yeah, start Pollard start Ridley for the most part. Okay, Zach Moss is doubtful. So Chase Brown, does he do you think he picks up the catches that Zach Moss is getting? I think he'll have meant not all of them. I don't think and maybe they'll prove me wrong. I don't think the Bengals want to give Chase Brown 25 touches in a game. But the must the start of the week looks a little bit more must start. And the Jaguars kind of looks like right now they're going to have both of their starting

Starting point is 00:03:15 running backs. This is a four o'clock game though. So what are you advising with the Jaguars guys? I am not wanting to start the Jaguars guys because you've got the risk with the risk with Bigsby of re-injury or the reports just being wrong and he doesn't play or Travis Etienne coming back and I don't like any of those situations and so I would start both Tampa Bay running backs over the Jacksonville guys. I would start Javontae Williams who I really don't like at all over the Jacksonville guys. They're both, I think they're back to back. If they both play, I'd slightly prefer Bigsby, but I believe there are be 36 and 37 for me. And you mentioned the Bucks running back. So it seems like we're expecting Bucky Irving to play at this point. We're expecting them to play. Tyrone Tracy is going to play.

I will go Chase Brown over Tyrone Tracy mostly because we're not expecting Zach Moss to play. They were very, very close and Brown got the boost with no Moss. So Tracy's a low end RB2 for me. I love the matchup. It's a good situation. Yeah. Oh, I haven't mentioned Pukka Nakua yet. So we're going to talk about Pukka Nakua after we take a quick break on fantasy football today express. Starting point is 00:05:01 All right, Pukunakua is expected to play. Do you feel comfortable throwing him in your lineup for a 425 game? I would really like to have somebody else. We saw Jordan Whittington active earlier this year and then just didn't play very much. Puka's banged this knee three times now this year, it seems like. And so I am very worried that one hit and he's got to come out of the game. That being said, I still think you view him as a low end number two wide receiver because he has wide receiver one overall upside and it's hard to sit that but I'd really like to have a 4pm option and I would start

Starting point is 00:05:39 a couple of guys that you wouldn't really expect maybe Josh Downs and Jacoby Myers over him. Okay just to play it a little bit safer. And those guys are good options anyway. What about the Bills wide receiver with Amari Cooper being a game time decision? I think if we find out and that that's an early one, right? Yeah. So if we find out Cooper's playing, I'm going to rank it. Cooper, Coleman, Shakir, all three of them are number three running backs. If we find out that Cooper is out, then Coleman and Shakir are still number three, number three wide receivers, but, but higher end. Uh, we've got to, you know what? No,

Starting point is 00:07:24 much starting both. And Ezekiel Elliott will be inactive for disciplinary reasons. So Dalvin cook will have a little bit of a role today, I suppose. And the, the chargers activated DJ Chark. I actually did boost up Rico Dowdle on that news. I think his touchdown odds specifically go up quite a bit. I was going to say, I love it. All right, let's read some questions from the chat here. Tony Pollard, DJ Moore, you're gonna have to click on these. Okay, I'm gonna, Adam doesn't have the power.
