This is gonna go the distance.
Now here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie and Heath.
Alright, happy Thanksgiving Eve everybody.
Look at Eve, look at little Eve over there.
He's got the kiddie table.
Welcome to the show, it's Fantasy Football Today
presented by BED MGM, the sports book born in Vegas.
I'm Adam Azer here with Dave Richard in studio.
Happy Thanksgiving Eve, Dave.
We're not gonna do a show on Thanksgiving.
We're doing a show tonight, me, Heath and Jamie,
the Thursday show, so happy Thanksgiving.
You just wake up?
No.
Your eyelids are heavy.
Really? Yeah. It looked like you either just woke up or just came out of my living room when the sun came in
and it was steaming smoky in there.
It's cute you guys wore matching outfits this morning.
My family does matching pajamas on Christmas.
I didn't know that some families did it on Thanksgiving.
This is a jacket.
It's the same color.
Fine.
I had the same thought and then we do look kind of similar.
I check us out.
You finally have them handsome slash fantasy football today.
YouTube dot com slash fantasy football today.
If you want to see our cool studio, Jamie will be joining us shortly.
Let's start with the big news.
What we're going to do today is we're going to talk about four games,
the three games on Thanksgiving plus the Chiefs and Raiders on Friday.
And we're going to do rest of season rankings with
correlating with Thanksgiving side dishes. We just have to sort of agree
on the best and worst Thanksgiving side dishes.
So I know you get really mad
when we criticize your segments or your ideas.
And so I try not to do it.
It's usually Jamie that's doing this,
but he's not here yet.
So I feel like it's my responsibility.
Sure, let's get up.
Shouldn't this have been like week 13 rankings since most of these things
were only eating this week and not eating them rest of season.
I think I mean I think that could work. We could do we could do this week rankings. I
just didn't want to do a full show about this week but rankings I thought you meant the
foods. No, OK. I don't even know what that means.
Let's start with the big news, though.
J.K. Dobbins has a nice brain.
He's going to miss at least one game at Atlanta this week
and then at Kansas City and then Tampa Bay.
So Gus Edwards steps up into a bigger role.
Gus Edwards, let me see.
He was about 50 percent rostered yesterday.
He is currently 60 percent rostered, but people do run waivers on Wednesday night.
So Heath, you were not on the WaiverWire show.
Where do you come out now on Gus Edwards compared to if Amir Abdullah were available, Jeremy
McNichols, by the way, the commanders took Chris Rodriguez and put him on the active
roster.
So now, yeah, talk about these replacement running backs.
Yeah, I think as of right now, I would go with the commanders, Jeremy McNichols and
then Amir Abdullah, and then Gus Edwards. And I had a thread on Blue Sky yesterday kind
of talking about Gus Edwards and his rushing so far this season. And this is like one of my favorite stats ever.
There have been three running backs this season with double digit touches and
single digit fantasy points against the Panthers, Gus Edwards, the mere white
and Javante Williams, there have been two running backs all season with double
digit touches and single digit fantasy points against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Gus Edwards and Javonté Williams.
Gus Edwards has the lowest avoid rate in the NFL.
He is the only player in the NFL with 60 rush attempts and zero explosive runs.
Runs of at least 12 yards.
He is dead last amongst running backs and weighted yards created per opportunity.
He is creating 0.10 yards per rush.
And he doesn't catch any passes. And I know like it's a terrible matchup for Jerry McNiggles,
but Gus Edwards is facing a Falcons defense that has not allowed a hundred yard rusher all season long and has only allowed
three rushing touchdowns to running backs.
Like if you don't catch passes you don't have success against them.
So I'm pretty out on Gus Edwards if you can't tell.
I can tell.
Okay.
Now he might maybe be in line though. Hey, Jamie.
Good morning.
For more of an extended run than the other guys because Alexander
Madison was limited in practice and the commanders have a buy and
then you certainly Eckler will be back after the buy. I don't know
about that.
We don't know for sure.
So does it make sense from that standpoint to think if I need someone for multiple
weeks, nobody's on a buy this week, I need someone for multiple weeks.
Maybe it's Edwards.
No, because I I'm so worried.
I am very confident on top of all the things that he said, and they're all valid.
I'm very confident that the chargers will use multiple running backs.
Technically they were using three running backs before Dobbins
got hurt. Hasan Haskins was working in a little bit more. Gus was playing like around 10,
15 snaps a game. And then Dobbins was handling the rest, including the passing downs. I'm
not, I'd like to think that it would be Kamani Valdal coming off of the inactive list and
being activated and being in tandem with Gus Edwards and Haskin still in that small role,
but I can't guarantee that that's gonna be the case.
But I can say that it's unlikely that Gus Edwards
is suddenly gonna fall into playing 60% of the snaps,
running 10 routes a game.
You know, he's gonna be this touchdown dependent
and volume dependent running back in.
And he just showed us that even when he's got volume,
it doesn't necessarily mean he's gonna get a lot of fantasy points. He hit positive rushing yardage
on the carries that he had and he took over late in the game for Jake in second half basically for
JK Dobbins. So I'm nervous about Gus too. I think the reason why you start him is because he could
fall into the end zone and maybe get 30, 40 yards on top of it.
The floor is ugly if he doesn't score.
Two, two quick things. Well, the floor is ugly.
If he does score, he scored last week and scored 7.1 fantasy points.
He had some, and somebody in the chat said he's going to get 15 touches this week.
I think that's accurate.
He had 18 touches against the Panthers and scored 5.9 fantasy points.
Um, and yeah, he might get multiple weeks. Yay, he gets the chiefs in week 14.
Yeah, yeah. And the offensive line for the Chargers, like it was supposed to be this amazing unit.
I remember watching Dobbins film from week 11. And it took a while for them to really gel
against Cincinnati. And Dobbins, I think it was his last carry the third quarter finally started
to break free and have some yards yards so it's not even like an
amazing offensive line and that's gonna be a problem for a heavy-footed running
back like Gus okay all right just to let everybody know we do not have a mailbag
episode this week so we will be back with the mailman what why not I'm
traveling so and doing on the plane.
Also, Thanksgiving is a week where we get we really don't get many emails.
So we'll get more next week. But every year it's like this, like people are traveling and whatever.
So have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
But there will be no mailbag.
We'll come back with a mailbag next week.
And we'll of course have the Sunday programming 10 a.m.
Eastern on CBS Sports HQ with Jamie
and the gang and 1130 a.m. Eastern youtube.com slash fantasy football today.
Me, Dave and Heath will be answering your questions Sunday morning 1130 a.m. YouTube.com slash
fantasy football today.
Okay.
So I wanted to do rest of, you know, let's keep it rest of season, right?
Rest of season side dish fantasy football.
I'll give you three names and three side dishes,
and we have to say who's, you know, each side dish.
I'm sticking with rolls is the worst, okay?
Just regular plain dinner rolls is the worst in the group.
Not necessarily bad, just the worst.
And I like dinner rolls, but not on Thanksgiving.
I have so many other good side dishes.
So I had sweet potatoes in the middle and stuffing the best.
And like I said, that's not even my call. That's not even I'm not the stuffing guy. I don't like stuffing that
much, but everyone else loves stuffing. But Heath, you seem that you know what? Actually,
Jamie hasn't really gotten in here. So Jamie, give me two other side dishes, one that's
mid, as they say, and one that is the best.
Mid or terrible?
No, terrible is going to be the dinner rolls.
Unless you think that there's a more terrible side dish than roll.
No, let's leave it, please keep it simple.
Okay, so mid is corn souffle.
Okay.
I would have liked to try some corn souffle.
No, it can't be something that nobody likes.
It's something that people like, but they don't love.
Well, you like it, but nobody else does.
So corn souffle. So corn soup's like.
Okay. That's great. Uh mashed potatoes.
Mashed potatoes, we agree. Mashed potatoes is going to be the popular. Really?
Jamie, I did want to ask like how much does it hurt your feelings
that Dave and Adam are taking their Christmas card pictures today and we weren't invited.
Happy holidays to Ruff FT.
All right, so we good with rolls, corn souffle and mashed potatoes? No, corn, we got, is there another one that we could do instead of corn souffle, a mid side dish? Like green bean casserole?
That could be good though. I love, no, these are good.
I really don't like them.
These are good, they're just not the best.
All right, we'll leave it at corn souffle.
All right, so I'll give you three players,
rest of season, I did give you their schedules
and the notes if you wanna look.
Who is the dinner rolls, who is the corn souffle,
and who is the cream of the crop, the creamy mashed potatoes?
Anthony Richardson, Bo Nix, Jared
Goff, rest of the season. I'm also going to ask you not to care about the bi-weeks because
nobody's picking these players up or trading. So I want to know basically who you like the most,
you know, on a per game basis. Anthony Richardson, Bo Nix, Jared Goff. Go for it.
I'll say Goff is the mashed potatoes. I'll say bone X is the mac and cheese.
And I'll say that Anthony Richardson is the dinner rolls.
And I say that, what?
Oh, he's saying that golf is his favorite.
Golf is a favorite, but onyx is better.
He's better than corn souffle.
Okay.
All right, cause he's really, really good.
And he's really earned it. I am worried about eventually some letdown weeks. This is a rookie quarterback.
There is such a thing as the rookie wall and teams are going to be able to figure out Denver
and eventually Denver will be able to figure out their run game and it's going to take
care or take past times off of bone next. I think Jericho still has the upside. I still
think Jericho has the upside to be amazing from week to week, including this week. But that's how I would rank them rest of season is golf one, Knicks two, Richardson three.
And as long as you guys can kind of wrap it up with a, you know, concise non-food
like Dave just did, then it'll be fine. Just yeah. But anyway, Heath, go ahead, rank them.
Richardson, Boeniks, Jared Goff. So Nix is the mashed potatoes
because he's been fantastic basically everywhere,
always hard to mess it up
and I think he's gonna be great the rest of season.
I will say Anthony Richardson is the corn souffle
because it can be great like this week in the right matchup
but if you do it wrong, man, it's awful. And I will say Jared Goff is the roles because if you leave them out
too long, they get stale. And then week 15 and 16, he's at Chicago and at San Francisco.
You don't like Jared Goff outdoors. So that's a clever, clever way to go about that. Wow.
It's surprising though. Goff last. All right, Jamie, how about you?
How do you rank them?
Richardson, Knicks, golf.
Knicks one, golf two, Richardson three.
Okay, that works for me.
Next up, Christian McCaffrey, Ken Walker, Chase Brown.
Christian McCaffrey, Ken Walker, Chase Brown.
Who's the boring dinner rolls that we're probably not going to eat on Thanksgiving?
Who's healthy for the 49ers?
I'll give I'll give him Purdy and I'll give him everybody. Everyone's healthy. Okay.
You can start Jamie McCaffrey, Ken Walker, Chase Brown, how do you rank them?
Oh, uh, Chase Brown one, uh, McCaffrey two, Walker three. I like all three.
Yeah, like like dinner rolls and corn soup if they're warm dinner rolls, they catch a lot of
Exact same order as Jamie Chase Brown number one CMC number two
But CMC is gonna be closer to Walker at three both those guys. I think they both need to show us something
Pretty awesome here in order to actually
get on the plate instead of staying in a in a basket or whatever you put corn souffle and a dish
at the dinner table yeah okay yeah Keith I think I'm going to go Chase Brown Ken Walker Christian
McCaffrey oh Walker over McCabe Ken Walker is averaging 3.16 yards per carry
in his last six games.
We haven't really been talking about it.
He's just not playing that well.
He's playing like dinner rolls.
So it's Christian McCaffrey.
Christian McCaffrey is, yeah.
And Ken Walker in those six games
averaging 3.16 yards per carry.
Also on pace though for 65 catches,
496 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
So he's doing that, but he's been a little,
he's kind of like pissing me off, not gonna lie.
All right, I got a food take when we come back,
but first I gotta tell you,
if you haven't signed up for BetMGM yet, this is it.
Let's do it, use the bonus code fantasy,
and you're gonna get up to a $1,500 first bet offer
on your first wager with BetMGM.
So here's how it works.
You download the BetMGM app,
you sign up using the bonus code fantasy,
deposit at least $10 and place your first wager
on any game and you'll receive up to $1,500 in bonus bets
if your bet loses.
Just make sure you use the bonus code fantasy
when you sign up.
All right, so Chase Brown is the delicious mashed potatoes.
What do we got next?
When we come back, we'll do some more of this wackiness
after this break on Fantasy Football today.

All right, welcome back.
Okay, so if anybody's curious about how lunch went yesterday
with the lunch bet, it actually was a rest of season bet.
I found the clip in the WaverWire show.
It was a rest of season bet between me, Dave and Jamie.
And it was Tillman versus Quinton Johnston.
So no, not Tillman was a Tillman.
I thought it was Liggett.
Liggett versus Quinton Johnston. Sorry.
So there were nobody paid.
We paid for our own lunches.
And I would like to say, and I will not say the name of the restaurant.
It was the one of the restaurant, it was one of
the worst burgers I've ever had.
It was the worst burger I've ever had at a restaurant in a long time.
I hated it.
I thought the tater tots were even worse than the burgers.
It was a bland, awful, it was one of the-
Did you tell Dan this?
Because it was Dan's recommendation.
He'll probably listen.
He listens to Mo's show.
Dan, you suck.
This burger was horrible.
And not only did it ruin lunch for me,
it just sat in my stomach for like six hours,
just making me full and gross.
And it ruined dinner for me.
Cause we went to El Mariachi,
a great Mexican place in Coral Springs, Florida.
And I could not even eat dinner
because the burger was so bad
and made me so full and then gross feeling.
I think it is.
It is a problem.
You should I should have told you to order the little baby sliders
because they've been better.
I can eat like a man burgers have like lots of flavors on them.
And Adam had a really hard time.
He couldn't find a burger that had not didn't have too much flavor.
And so I understand it was too much that didn't have too much flavor.
And so I understand it was too much meat.
It was too much flavor.
It's okay.
Not enough flavor.
I think you should tell us the type of burger you ordered,
what was on it.
I mean, I don't want to give away to cause I don't want to
embarrass the restaurant.
But if you just like take some of the food that was on the
burger off the burger and refuse to eat it.
Just a lettuce.
There was a full salad on your plate when you were done.
Yeah, a lot of lettuce.
There was onions, cheese.
I don't even remember.
It just was such a bad burger.
Oh gosh, you guys need to step up your burger game.
All right, next up.
Who's the dinner rolls?
Who's the corn souffle, the mid corn souffle?
And who's the delicious, unbeatable mashed potatoes
rest of season? Chuba Hubbard,
DeAndre Swift who faces Detroit and Minnesota three times in his next four games. They're top
three against running backs. Although Minnesota just put a line, both of them have lost linebackers
actually recently. Chuba Hubbard, DeAndre Swift, Bucky Irving. Dave, you want to take a stab at
this one? Yeah, I'm going to put Chuba at the top. I don't think Jonathan Brooks is going to make a huge impact,
and maybe at all this season.
I was thinking maybe, I was about to say,
when the Panthers are out of it, but they've
kind of been out of it all year.
But I think they're just going to keep writing Chuba all
the way to the end of the season.
I think they're still going to try and be competitive
and all that stuff.
Build on this year.
He's going to be my one.
Bucky's going to be too.
I'm really, I'm impressed by the workload that he had dominated carries in the
first three quarters of their game against the giants, had a huge breakaway
run against the giants.
Sean Tucker might go back to the end of the line and not play after he fumbled.
And, uh, and Rashad white just hasn't been efficient.
And then that means that the Andre Swift is third.
So I would say that Chuba is the mashed potatoes,
which every time you mentioned the mashed potatoes, Adam,
you describe how like delicious they are.
And it's very entertaining.
You describing mashed potatoes.
Bucky Irving is the corn souffle.
DeAndre Swift is yesterday's burger.
Oh, man.
Heath, Jamie, anyone?
Oh man. Heath, Jamie, anyone? First off, Bucky and Chuba are both really good things and DeAndre Swift is something worse than Rolls. So I would go Bucky over Chuba not because of Jonathan Brooks,
but because of this Giants, Panthers, Raiders, Chargers, Cowboys, Panthers, Saints.
Um, fantastic schedule for Bucky or rings.
So Bucky, Chuba, and then way at the back of the line, whatever the worst thing is on
Thanksgiving for you is Deandre Swift.
Would Deandre Swift be a used napkin?
That's pretty gross.
I'm just saying.
I don't know.
I mean, Jamie, are we being a little too hard
on DeAndre Swift?
A little bit, but I agree with Heath's order.
I think Bucky Irving's got the best chance
to be a league winning type of guy.
I think, you know, Chuba is gonna be a serviceable
starting fantasy option, but Bucky could be
just a difference maker based on what we saw last week,
what the schedule sets up like,
and to what Dave illustrated,
maybe they start to give him even more work
and take a little bit less from Rashad White.
I mean, he's the future of their backfield,
Bucky Irving, and it's just fun to watch.
So I think Irving is in a,
I almost put them in three different categories
to Heath's point about those two guys being separate
from Swift, like Irving's on a different tier than Chuba,
Chuba's on a different tier than Swift, and the top two guys being separate from Swift. Irving's on a different tier than Chuba. Chuba's on a
different tier than Swift. And the top two guys are starters where Swift is going to be somebody
you're probably benching. I just wanted to bring up what you say? When every team is active,
I think Swift is going to end up being benched. Okay. And Tampa Bay, their first and second down
running back snaps last week.
Bucky Irving had 33 snaps, Rashad White had 20.
It's by far the biggest spread between the two of them.
Ooh, spread like a dinner spread.
Love it. All right, next up, let's go Malik neighbors,
Jackson Smith and Jigba and Zay Flowers.
Malik neighbors, JSN, Zay Flowers, rest of season.
I think this is kind of a tough one here.
Some, something I said on beyond the box score Malik neighbors
is wide receiver 33 per game in PPR in his last six games
or I think it's whenever Andrew Thomas went out, you know,
since he started struggling 33 per game.
So it's neighbors JSN Zay flowers, Heath rank them food
with food.
Yeah. I, none of these,
I don't, they're all close enough.
They're all just like different variations of mac and cheese.
One of them has like three different kinds of cheese
and maybe like some breadcrumbs and bacon on top.
One of them really, really like dry and from a week ago.
And one of them's, but just still mac and cheese.
So it's pretty good.
And then one of them just regular creamy mac and cheese,
but I would go neighbors, JSN flowers.
Jamie.
JSN neighbors flowers.
I have the same order as Jamie.
It's in the trade chart that way too.
Jackson Smith and Jig was first,
Malik neighbors, the second, Zay Flowers is third.
I think JSN, and honestly, I almost feel like JSN's ascent
is coming at the same time
that Ken Walker's decline is happening.
Cause you talked about how Walker was pissing you off.
He is.
JSN is not pissing anybody off, and he's getting a lot of good short area targets,
some deep targets on top of it. This is a team that loves to throw the football.
I almost feel like we should have seen this coming.
And maybe one of us did, and I just don't remember.
Huge.
JSN is absolutely the best one of the three right now.
Huge prove it for me this week, because, and Adams talked about this for a couple of years,
DK is bad against bad matchups. So when they play a good matchup, like the Jets,
does DK just give us 150 yards and two touchdowns and JSN goes back to screen merchant?
Well, but if Lockett's going to get,, you know, for fewer targets now, I think four
games in a row, you know, lock it was just too deep is really good at the beginning of
the year.
They seem to be phasing him out intentionally or not.
I feel like they both could be good, you know, but for for JSN, Jacob talked about it on
Monday.
He wasn't really being used downfield like he was in that one game without Metcalf his huge game
It's kind of like a PPR play. You're just hoping for a lot of targets. He's in the slot all the time
I will do one more here and the tight ends David Njoku
John who Smith?
Kyle Pitts
The joke who John who Smith Kyle Pitts Jamie, how would you rank them rest of
season?
I'll still stick with N'Joku.
I mean, obviously John was hot the last two weeks, but I don't want to, you know, use
the Steelers game in the snow as a negative against the joke.
He was good in the first three starts with, with Jamis and he's typically been good.
Um, when it's been everybody but Deshaun Watson.
So I'll stick with him first.
Uh, John will be two and Pitts will be three.
Just is just frustrating to trust Coppets consistently.
And hopefully what John has done the last two weeks
based on how the Dolphins offense has been operating,
it can be somewhat sustainable, not to that level,
but you know, just involvement.
So hopefully John who can stay hot, rest away.
And, and look, I love to see Pitts finish strong,
but he's just there for me.
Stay hot like some hot corn souffle, because he's the mid in
this one. Dave, how do you rank the joku, john who and pits,
it's is the pits. So I agree with that. And I honestly, I
look at john who and the joku exactly the same way. They're
both short area targets for their respective offenses, both
these offenses want to throw the football a ton.
Both of them, the difference between the two, I should say, is the Dolphins prefer to dink and dunk. And we've just seen it. Two is getting the ball out in 2.3 seconds. His A-dot is one of the
worst in football. Jameis likes to look downfield. And if John is going to continue to play as much
he's been playing, I think he's got a slight nudge ahead of David Njoku. So I'll take John who first.
I'll buy into what the Dolphins have been doing for a month plusudge ahead of David Njoku. So I'll take John who first I'll buy into what the dolphins
have been doing for a month plus now with him.
Njoku second, but right behind them.
They're worth the same on the trade chart.
And then Kyle Pitts is behind them.
Heath.
Yeah, I will go John who first.
This is like the most disturbing thing ever.
If you're a Tyree kill fantasy manager,
but since Tua came back, John who actually leads
the dolphins and targets.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Um, two is behind him waddles behind Tyree or Tyree behind John who and then waddle.
Um, I think it will be interesting.
I was trying to think of the right analogy for this.
Like Turkey is really good, hot or cold.
You can just eat it right out of the fridge.
It'd be interesting to find out on Thursday night if John is any good cold.
Um, but I'll go John who Joku and then Kyle
Pitts.
All right. That. Thank you guys for indulging what's for
dessert. Oh, man. I think I think I did on the air last year
I had pumpkin pie for the first time. And you probably hated
it. What is it? It's like a weird
percent. And you probably hated it. What is it? It's like a weird and pecan pie also. You hate that all pies. I mean apple pie.
I'll eat but yeah the comp. What am I doing eating pecan pie?
You can probably just go ahead and say the name of the
restaurant after this. They're gonna feel like it's an
endorsement. It's an endorsement. I'm eating dessert.
I don't want to. I don't want to eat. I don't want to eat
pecans for dessert. That's not a dessert. Oh, but it's good.
Oh, it's delicious.
My pecan pie is very, very good.
Just give me some ice cream, man.
My wife says, do I, we always order pies from the high school, local high school as a culinary
department.
And so they sell pies as a fundraiser and we order them for Thanksgiving.
My wife says, do I get, do I get a pumpkin or a pecan or an apple?
And I say, what do you mean, or? Get all of them.
We're going to eat them all. Wow. We are having very different
thanksgivings. All right. Now it's time for the Workhorse to Watch segment brought to you by
Microsoft Copilot Plus PCs powered by Snapdragon, the fastest, most intelligent Windows PCs ever.
In this segment, we'll identify a player whose
battery just doesn't seem to run out, similar to Copilot Plus PCs.
And Jamie, I'm gonna nominate Nick Chubb this week for our Workhorse to Watch, cuz he had
20 carries last week, but only 59 yards, two touchdowns. So it's coming off a 19 point
game, one catch for one yard against Pittsburgh.
Now he's facing a Denver team that allows only 3.78
yards per carrier running backs.
They give up a lot in the receiving game to running backs,
but it's not Nick Chubb's thing.
Do you think people will buy into Nick Chubb
after the two touchdown performance?
And are you buying Nick Chubb this week?
I think people will buy into it because of who Nick Chubb is
and seeing two touchdowns obviously is gonna open
people's eyes whenever it's multiple scores for somebody who's getting a lot of work.
But no, I'm not buying it.
It's a tough matchup against the Denver team that I think is going to be playing with the
lead.
This is not going to be the setup for Chubb.
So if he does not score, I don't think this is going to be a very good situation for him.
And as you said, running backs in the passing game have really killed this team.
So it's now nine running backs on the season that have scored 6.8 PPR points or more with their receiving totals. This feels like this
could be a good opportunity for Jerome Ford, who two games ago had four catches. Last week
was not involved in a passing game because they were, you know, competitive game and
playing with the lead at points in the game. So don't like the setup for Nick Chubb very
much at all. And he's somebody I would try to set.
That was the Workhorse to Watch segment brought to you by Microsoft Copilot Plus PCs. Whether you're multitasking like never before, working
far from power outlets or sketching your own ideas into existence, you can do it with the new
Microsoft Copilot Plus PC powered by Snapdragon. Battery life varies by device and with usage and
settings. Let's do some news and notes here. Aaron Rodgers said yesterday he's not sure if he wants to play
next season, but his first choice would be the Jets. Cooper Rush was limited and Tommy DeVito
seems optimistic that he'll play, but they're not committing to it. He has a forearm injury.
And this is the Thursday game Dallas, one of the Thursday games, Dallas and the Giants.
Running back news, Alexander Madison was limited. Zamir White missed practice. They play Friday at Kansas City.
David Montgomery was limited.
They're optimistic about Montgomery playing.
Washington signed Chris Rodriguez to the active roster.
They also took a look at Boston Scott
and James Robinson as free agent visits.
And the Kansas City workload will be determined
in game on Friday.
So we're gonna talk about that game in a little bit.
Wide receiver news, Amanrao St. Brown was limited. Romeo Dobbs mispracticed. He's probably not going
to play. And the Rams have not decided on Demarcus Robinson's status. He had a DUI this last weekend.
They haven't decided on his work week 13 status Demarcus Robinson at the Saints.
Tight end news, the Giants signed Greg Dulsich off waivers for what that's worth.
The Rams tight end Tyler Higby is gonna practice this week
but unlikely to play.
And Jake Ferguson likely out for Dallas.
On the offensive line, Giants Cowboys updates here.
For the Giants, they're left tackled.
Jermaine Aluminor missed practice.
He left in the first quarter short week,
don't think he'll play.
Well, that's just my opinion, I don't know. But their line was absolutely terrible last week against
Tampa Bay and their right tackle. Evan Neal was banged up too, but it looks like he's
probably going to play Dallas offensive guard, Zach Martin likely out for the Cowboys and
Miami. So Miami left tackles around. Armstead. This one's kind of interesting. The fact that
they're playing Thursday isn't great. He did play. He's been questionable, like leading right up to kickoff to Ron Armstead for the for the Dolphins
He played last week, but I think he played about 65% of the snaps
I don't know what to expect for him on a short week at Green Bay
Weather wise, you know
Dave are we just gonna say we shouldn't do anything about the weather this early in the week?
Because people are gonna have to make a lot of decisions on Thursday and Friday. And the weekend weather could be, you know, cold and especially San
Francisco, Buffalo. Yeah, there's talk about snow in that game. It could be one of those
crazy Buffalo games. So do you know, do you plan for that? Because there's a lot of uncertainty,
especially with San Francisco, if you're looking at Thursday and setting your lineup. I'm a
bad person to ask because the only weather forecast that I've looked at so far is Buffalo
and Green Bay.
And so I don't know what the forecast is for all the other games that are outdoors this
weekend.
I know that there's some big thing coming to the Northeast.
Yeah, that could impact games out there.
So that's something that you have to think about.
All right.
All right.
I don't care.
It's funny.
All I can tell you, it's funny.
All I can tell you is it's gonna be cold in Green Bay, they're not expecting any precipitation,
wind shouldn't be that bad,
and Buffalo, like we've already talked about twice now
in the last 15 seconds, there's gonna be some snow.
Could be, I mean, it could be.
You just don't know at this point,
so it's gonna be a tough decision
for fantasy managers to make,
and we don't even know if Brock Pardee is gonna play.
And then Jair Alexander and Edgeron Cooper, cornerback and a linebacker for the Packers.
They mispracticed. I don't think Alexander is going to play. Trayvon Diggs mispracticed.
Washington put their kicker Austin Cybert on IR so Zane Gonzalez could replace him.
Kansas City's kicker Spencer Schrader mispracticed. Minnesota put linebacker Ivan Pace Jr. on
IR.
Oddly enough, they are much better against running backs
with him off the field than on the field,
but that could just be a small sample size.
And for Patrick Mahomes, two Chiefs or two Raiders cornerbacks
miss practice.
They missed last week's game, Nate Hobbs and Jacory and Bennett.
Yeah, they haven't practiced and they miss practice.
So the Raiders actually were pretty good against wide receivers
going into the game, but without their starting cornerbacks.
So Cortland Sutton have a huge game and second half.
They had a big game, too. Yep.
All right, let's get to the games. Here we go.
I think we got some really interesting games.
Chicago at Detroit.
So you've got what day is this game on?
This game is on Thursday.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Thank you, Dave.
Chicago's at Detroit.
So Jamie, you've got a team in Detroit
that sees the most wide receiver targets per game
in the NFL, 25.1 and the Bears see the fewest.
So that's wild, right?
15.4 targets per game. The Bears see from fewest. So that's wild, right? Fifteen point four targets per game.
The Bears see from wide receivers each week.
And personally, I think it's sort of masking that the Bears
past defense is a little bit overrated.
They just don't get thrown on that much.
I don't know if they will in this game, but which wide receivers?
Jamie, do you like in this game, Chicago and Detroit?
And sorry, one other stat.
A wide receiver has scored 16.1 or more PPR fantasy
points in 10 of 11 games against the Lions. Think about that. Who do you like, Jamie?
I mean, you're obviously starting Amara St. Brown. That's a no-brainer. I would consider
using just because of the week, not as starters in two receiver leagues, but DJ Moore, Keenan Allen,
and Romo Dunze are all starters in three receiver leagues.
So just based on what the opportunity has been for all three of these guys, 23 targets
for Keenan Allen the last two games, 20 targets for Romo Dunze the last two games.
These are both with Thomas Brown.
Obviously, DJ Moore's had pretty solid production in the past two games.
13.7 PPR points or more in each of those two outings.
So all of them are producing with the system change and the coordinator change. It's just a matter
of you know what your lineup looks like. So they're all in great spots, all have an
opportunity to play well. I think you just got to put out a doomsday third
based on the production so far. But again just looking at what the the matchup is
like, what the game flow is probably going to be like with them chasing points.
It's a good setup for all three of the receivers. And if you're desperate, Caleb
Williams is not a horrible quarterback this week. I just
think he's going to have some turnovers compared to what he did last week when he was somewhat
mistake free.
And Apple turnovers, please. Thanksgiving. Do people eat that Thanksgiving? Heath, your
thoughts on the on the passing games?
Yeah, it's um, I've got golf and Caleb back to back as borderline QB1s, high end QB2s. Love them in a
Super Flex League. I agree with Jamie, Munro is the only must start wide receiver. I think like you
can put DJ Moore, Keenan Allen, Roma Dunze, Jameson Williams in a hat and draw names and be just as apt to pick the correct one.
I have another like all the opportunity stats say a huge breakout is coming for Roma Dunze.
The targets have been there. The production was even worse last week so it's hard to believe it.
But like his big problem this year is that he scored one touchdown.
You look at their end zone targets, Roma Dunze leads the Bears with 10 end zone targets and
he has one touchdown. Wow.
Keenan Allen has eight and he has three touchdowns. DJ Moore has five and he has four touchdowns.
Cole Comet has one and he has three touchdowns. So I do think that there are touchdowns coming for Roma Dunze.
Again, all four of those guys are start them in wide in three wide receiver leagues. I really
don't want to in a two. It's kind of interesting what they're doing though with DJ Moore the last
two weeks super low a dot it was a negative a dot two weeks ago it was under four yards this week
a lot of wide receiver screens these cheap catches they were good for PPR. And also super low targets. He's got a 16%
target share the last two weeks, like Kenan Allen and Roman Duntay in the new offense
are getting a lot more targets, more downfield. It's just that DJ Moore has caught 100% of
his targets.
The Lions, by the way, give up the most receiving yards to slot wide receivers 195 or more yards than second most it's
crazy. But they get thrown on all the time. All right. Wait,
who do you? All right. So how do you rank Jameson Williams with
the Bears? Who's the number? Who's the number two receiver in
this game? DJ Moore, Kenan Allen is a very close third. Who's the number two receiver in this game? DJ Moore. Kenan Allen is a very close third.
Who's the number two receiver in this game? Heath.
Projections, say Roma do and say I rank DJ
Moore one spot ahead of Roma do and say, because Moore's been scoring.
And I get it like he's really good, but it's it's one of those two.
Jamie, is there any way
to determine when Jared Goff is going to have a huge game and
when he's going to score like 12 points because it's all rushing touchdowns?
I mean, he's averaging over 30 fantasy points in his last three home games.
He scored at least 21 points in the last two Thanksgiving games.
So you know, just looking at recent trends, you know, he's good in these spots.
And so, you know, you said it, the Bears defense may not be as good as the number suggests.
They're number two in fantasy points allowed to the position.
Prior to last week,
only one quarterback had thrown multiple touchdowns against them.
That was Trevor Lawrence.
So but back to back games, there's been 22 plus points for
the previous quarterbacks.
Jared Love scored a rushing touchdown two games ago.
And then obviously Sam Darnold had a big game against them last week.
So we'll find out how good golf is.
We'll find out how good this past defense is in terms of how they'll attack them.
The thing about the Lions is when you watch them,
they do whatever they want.
They could play bully ball and beat you up with the run game.
They could obviously beat you up in the passing game.
You wonder if St. Brown's injury is really something to be concerned about,
then do they just come out and beat you up with the run, get their win and go home?
And I think probably like what Heath was talking about when ranking the quarterbacks, like
that's the fear with Jared Goff almost on a weekly basis.
It's like they could do whatever they want to from a running perspective.
So we'll see how they operate.
You know, I do sort of have this thought in the back of my mind following the five interception
game when
Jared Goff was a legitimate MVP candidate and then they come back and they have the
four touchdown game against Jacksonville, do they make a push to put him back in the
MVP race that feels like is wide open?
I mean, Lamar Jackson's up there, Josh Allen's up there, Saquon Barkley's now up there, and
when you look at the odds, Jared Goff is still up there. You know, so if he can have an island game with three touchdowns, four touchdowns where
everybody's watching, that may change the perspective a little bit of where Jared Goff
stacks up in this, if that's something that they want to do.
And I do think that if they want to do it, he can do it.
So he's QB 12 for me. He's he's a starter if you've been starting him.
Not necessarily a slam dunk, but it's it's not a matchup. I think that you should be running away
from despite the fact that statistics say you should. All right, Jared Goff or Bo Nix against
Cleveland. I moved next over golf this morning. Next for me. He's just too hot. Next for me. Jared golf or Kyler Murray at
Minnesota. golf golf. And he he's by the way, at the end of
this game. I don't have access to the chat. So if you want to
find some questions from the chat specific to this game, but
we have more to talk about here. Jamir Gibbs is a must start.
Any hesitation Dave with David Montgomery?
No, every indication is that he's going to be okay.
It made sense for them to limit him in the second half last week
against Indianapolis.
They had a big lead.
He wasn't 100%.
He's going to be limited in practice.
It's a short week.
I don't think it'll be his best game of the year, but he could
be in that 13, 14 point range, whether it's PPR or not, and still be good. High end number two type of fantasy running back.
Yeah. And I think one of the reasons why people don't throw on the Bears is because the Bears
run defenses in that good side. Yeah. I think the Lions will have a lot of success there.
Montgomery or Bucky Irving. If it's PPR, yeah.
If it's PPR, yeah, okay, Montgomery or Jonathan Taylor. But there's profiles the same and if you want to just buy into who's gonna score touchdown,
you can bank on Montgomery more so than Taylor.
Right.
Who do you guys like?
Do you like either tight end this week, Dave?
No, with six with zero teams on by.
Yeah, it's really hard to feel good about either one of them.
I would try and get away from them both.
And then finally, I think we're just left with the Bears running backs.
Jamie, how do you feel about the Bears running backs this week?
Don't trust them. I mean, you know,
Swift is hopefully going to be involved in the past game.
We just haven't seen that in the last two games consistently, you know, with, uh,
with the coordinator change was something that I thought would happen. Uh,
revenge game is clearly there for him,
but I don't know if that necessarily matters against the defense.
That's so good in stopping the run. Um,
under 60% snaps the last two weeks for Swift and the coordinator change. So,
you know, again, could it be the groin injury?
He had the groin injury two games ago.
Apparently during the game,
came into the game last week dealing with it in practice.
So that could be a factor,
but Roshan has done a touchdown into the last two weeks.
So just given the matchup, no teams on a buy.
I think he's a flex at best.
If you can bench him, I'd bench him.
And he's really struggled in tough matchups too.
And over the last three weeks, the Lions run events.
It's been so good.
Incredible. They figured
out how to get it going without Hutchinson on the field.
Remember there was a couple weeks ago, I was saying with
Hutchinson out, they weren't as good and they've really
turned it around. Part of it's because of who they've played
but then last week they really showed it against Taylor.
Right. How good were they? They were great against Mixon.
He had like 25 carries or 46 yards, right? That's true.
That's when they really started to turn the corner. That's when they proved it.
And then Taylor, it's a combination of his offensive
line and just, I don't know how great Taylor is, but I want
to give credit to the Lions defense.
They've really played great.
Chicago's offensive line isn't amazing by any stretch.
Swift is going to have a hard time.
All right.
I think those short targets for DJ more hurting DeAndre
Swift.
It's the short targets for him.
You want the you want Thomas is a great job here and start.
Let me ask you.
Oh, one question, Heath, who would you rather start,
Jameson Williams or DeAndre Swift?
Jameson. Yeah.
OK. Yeah, I'm encouraged.
Jameson's had a 21% target share right around their target per outrun rate.
Three straight games and a dots lower being used in a better way.
It's just, again, like Jamie said, the lions can do whatever they want.
I kind of like, I'm hoping that they're in the spotlight, that they're just
going to destroy it. They're not shy.
They'll be up 40 points in the fourth quarter and have their starters in.
I just, I'm hoping that they like really just destroy the, I don't, I don't care
who wins, but just really put up their best showing. Okay. Uh, go ahead.
Heath.
DJ more. I must start over. Okay. Uh, go ahead. Heath. DJ more.
I must start over Garrett Wilson.
Nope.
No, no, no.
I say golf or Herbert.
Herbert.
Herbert.
I've got Herbert just barely.
I think I'm the low guy on him again.
Golf or Darnold.
Golf.
I do have golf over Darnold.
I've got Darnold just a little bit higher.
J Mo Sutton, Brian Thomas or Joanne Jennings. Sutton. Son. I do have golf over Darnold. I've got Darnold just a little bit higher.
JMo, Sutton, Brian Thomas or Joann Jennings?
Sutton.
Sutton.
Sutton.
Agreed.
Give me a little Sutton, Sutton.
All right.
Thank you.
That was easy for me.
Montgomery or Jennings?
Montgomery or Jennings?
So that like this, you have to take into account all the variables at San Francisco.
Yeah.
Yeah.
If we, if we don't have any indication
that Bertie's going to play,
and if it's gonna be a total blizzard,
then it's Montgomery.
And if it's not PPR, it's Montgomery anyway.
Okay, and we're gonna take a break here.
We have three more games to go.
Uh-oh, it's gonna be a long one.
All right, we'll be right back.
Spend 20 minutes on Thanksgiving side dishes.
Yeah, exactly.
We'll be right back on Fantasy Book Ball today. By the way, the Lions DST, we'll be right back. Spend 20 minutes on Thanksgiving side dishes. Yeah, exactly. We'll be right back on fantasy football today.
By the way, the Lions DST, you can start them.
We'll be right back after this.

Welcome back. OK, so Heath, I'm going to let you start this conversation
about the Dolphins at the Packers on Thursday night.
So obviously weather is a consideration here.
You have to a 21st Dave and Jamie have to us like around
14th 12th something like that.
So do you want to start anyone on the dolphins other than Devon H.
Ann?
I think you're starting both Tyreek and Jalen Waddle.
If you're in a three wide receiver league and a two wide receiver, I
want to start Johnny for sure.
Johnny was a must start tight end.
H hands must start running back.
And I listen, this type of weather doesn't matter.
7580% of the time.
I think the Dolphins are what?
Oh, well, no 11 in their last game is below 40 degrees.
Last last 11 games below 40 degrees.
And for most of the country, they hear 26 degrees,
which is the current forecast for kickoff.
And they say, you know, the guys start running around. They're not even, it's not even going to feel that cold. But people
were wearing puffer jackets and stocking caps down here when it dropped into the fifties.
Like I, I, I grew up in Kansas city. I came down here and laughed at people the first
year of soccer practices, cause it got into the sixties and people were in coach to soccer
practice.
And I thought, well, I was here for 10 years and now I'm doing the same
thing because it does change things.
And the dolphins have not been good in cold.
And so I don't want to start to, uh, and I'm only starting Tyreke and
waddle and three wide receiver leagues.
All right, Dave, your rebuttal anymore?
I'm well, first of all, I'm in the exact same boat as Heath.
I come from a big East coast town, Chicago, Illinois, your rebuttal, any more optimism? Well, first of all, I'm in the exact same boat as Heath.
I come from a big East Coast town, Chicago, Illinois.
And I did the exact same thing where I laughed at people
and now my blood is super thin.
I'm cold sitting here in the studio right now.
So it's problematic.
I'm nervous about the Dolphins offense
outside of H.Hann and John New Smith,
as silly as it sounds,
but this is how their offense operates.
Tua gets the snap, Tua throws the ball.
It's that fast and the ball is going anywhere from 10 yards or closer to the line of scrimmage, any
downfield route that any either of those wide receivers, Tyreek or Waddell, runs, it's for decoy purposes.
It's to open up something underneath.
It's to open up a running back or a tight end in the flat and to get them to get yards after the catch.
I believe the main reason why Waddle had the game
he had last week was because the Patriots decided
to play man coverage more than pretty much any defense did
against the Dolphins this year and it burned them
because Waddle can crush man coverage.
He's still got the goods as far as talent goes.
But when they play against zone coverage
where they're trying to
give up trying to limit those big plays, waddle is limited. He doesn't do much. We've seen it basically from week two all
the way through to week 11. Number two is a Chan.
Number three is Tyreek.
Number four is waddle waddle's target per route run rate.
Heath, you can tell me if this is too low.
14.5%.
Oh, that's very low.
That's bad.
Again, zone or zone coverage.
Did the Packers play?
The Packers do change it up from time to time, but I don't see them getting away from zone.
They played crazy heavy zone last week against the Niners because they didn't want to give up the big play and they gave up
A big play to kiddle and I can't remember how many other big plays they gave up in or how we wanted to find big
Plays in that game, but it's not like Debo went off or Jennings went off for CMC went off
They usually stick with zone coverage. Okay, so my hunch is that that's what they're gonna do to is gonna have to keep things short
They're
going to dink and dunk down the field. It'll be great for john
and it'll be great for a Chan. I would stay away from waddle and
three wide receiver leagues to be honest with you.
Are you guys starting DJ more over Tyreek Hill?
No, I am. I'm not there yet. But
but you're starting them over waddle. Yeah, I'm starting to
do Smith over or DJ more rather over Waddle.
I don't know who DJ Smith is.
I don't know who DJ Smith is.
One other thing is it's not just cold because it hasn't been cold at Lambo all
season and they've allowed one quarterback at Lambo to score more than 20 points.
They've allowed one quarterback in the last seven weeks to score more than 16 points anywhere.
The Packers. Okay. And the Packers pass rush isn't that great, but it doesn't matter because the
Dolphins just get the ball out so. All right. Let me speed it. Would you rather have Caleb?
Yeah, I'm probably not going to play. Who? Yeah, Jay. I'm probably not going to play.
Would you rather have Caleb Williams this week at Detroit
or Tua at Green Bay?
I have Tua over Caleb and I'm not sure
I'm gonna stick with it.
Like that's how skittish I am on the Dolphins passing.
It's Caleb for Heath.
Start HN, so Tyreek Hill is number two receiver.
I think, well, I think number three receiver
for at least one of you.
I used the rankings yesterday.
I know they change a lot, but like he's 33rd right now
for Heath and he's top, oh, he's top 14 for Dave and Jamie
and he's 33rd for Heath.
So big difference.
It's probably too high to be completely honest.
Look, I mean, they're not throwing the ball.
How hard is it to throw the ball four yards, right?
Like you could do that.
They wanna just give- That's fine, but he doesn't get yards, right? Like you could do that. They want to just.
That's fine.
But he doesn't get the majority of those targets.
But he did.
He used to.
Like last week, he got a little bit of Christian Gonzalez.
And I think they just wanted to throw at the other
crappy cornerbacks on to it.
I saw Gonzalez on Waddle a bunch too in film.
Not as much as Tyree.
Maybe not, but there was still plenty of that.
All right.
So, okay.
Anyway, Dave and Jamie have Tyree kill us start. Heath hasn't 33rd.
I will just say he's wide receiver 41 on the season per game. He's wide receiver 30
since Tua came back. Okay. So like, that's what matters to me. Just the fact that he's not even
a top 24 wide receiver with Tua. Okay. Well, let's come back into his. I don't want to agree that because I told you Malik neighbors is wide receiver 33
per game in his last six games.
Dave's got him 14th, Jamie 20th, Heath 9th.
So, you know, it's not always that simple, right?
But all right, we'll talk about another guy who might be just too high.
You guys do like John Smith.
I think the difference is though that Malik neighbors gets a ton of targets and
it seems like he's bound to do something with them
Yeah, he's had good nothing he's had honestly nothing but good matchups every single well, he's gonna do it against the Eagles
Okay, they were okay. Okay, we got the commanders. Okay against the Panthers will be great against the Panthers stinks against everyone
Jordan love starter sit Jamie
very similar to a you know Dolphins defenses held its own you know with
with some tough matchups of late as well you know not necessarily Drake May but we saw what they
did against Matthew Stafford who was hot coming into that game. Love hasn't exactly been lighting
things up either and so to me they feel somewhat similar you know there's there's the potential
for a shootout here there's the potential for a low score game here you know just based on the weather so it's I kind of feel the same about Jordan love that I do Jared golf
I've been starting him all all this time
I'm not making a move to go get somebody different unless you know, Bo Nix is sitting on the waiver wire for example
Or somebody drop Baker Mayfield going into their bye week, but I I don't have huge expectations for him
I don't think there's gonna be a top five performance for him
We'll see how they replace Romeo Dobbs.
This feels like a game where both running backs can dominate.
So Devon Aitchin can have a big game here and obviously Josh Jacobs, what we saw last
week, can be huge against the Dolphins too.
Would you guys start Anthony Richardson over the quarterbacks in this game?
Easily.
Not me.
Yep.
All right.
Two out of three say yes.
All right.
So the Dolphins run defense has been phenomenal lately.
They will be without linebacker Anthony Walker,
but that doesn't stop you guys from starting Josh Jacobs,
who has been phenomenal lately,
20.2 or more PPR fantasy points
in four of his last five games.
Let's do the Packers wide receivers last.
Heath, starters to Tucker Craft.
I do not really want to start Tucker Craft.
Okay, none of you do.
No.
Let's go.
Heath, give me your breakdown of the Packers wide receivers.
Do you like any of them?
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, I could definitely do that.
Definitely have.
Definitely know what's going to happen with the Packers wide receivers.
You can put Jayden Reed and probably Christian Watson as well into that hat with all the number
three wide receivers and just pick one out.
I favor Reed over Watson.
I've got Reed as a high end wide receiver three and Watson as a low end wide receiver
three, but I don't, I don't know.
Hard to have confidence.
So okay.
Here's, all right. So, so I actually feel like the two games we've talked about so far are two of the more
difficult games on the slate.
When you have, yeah, right.
When you have receiving core that have multiple guys that are viable, but not, they haven't
been that great.
That's really tough.
We don't have any teams on a buy.
So like, who are some names Jamie of wide receivers
that you would start over, like Khalil Shakir,
would you play it safe with the Khalil Shakir
over Jayden Reed?
Yeah, must the weather's horrible in Buffalo.
I mean, Jayden has been bad, you know,
from a production standpoint,
scored two games ago and was last week
and didn't do very much with it.
He just has not been producing like the guy that we saw earlier this year.
And this Dolphins defense has done very well against most receivers almost all
season long.
So Watson, I think we'd all feel differently if he catches that ball last week,
three targets, no catches, bad drop.
It was a beautifully thrown ball.
No Romeo Dobbs, so I agree with Heath on sending Tucker Kraft, but
he's the one that could potentially benefit the most with Dobbs, you know, so I agree with Heath on sending Tucker Kraft, but he's the one
that could potentially benefit the most with Dobbs not there and may have the surprise
game of someone on Thursday or for this week.
So I wouldn't necessarily rule him out.
He's great DFS play, you know, if you want to play on the Thursday's light, just with
the chance score touchdowns, got six touchdowns in eight, his last eight games.
There's just nothing that's consistent about the Packers receivers, you
know, and that's the problem, is that this is what Matt LaFleur told us, you know, and
it's coming to fruition. There's no number one guy. You know, Reid seems like the safest,
clearly, but as we saw two games ago, 17 passes for Jordan Love, four targets for Christian
Watson. He called for them and went for 150 yards. He's got that in his bag almost on
a weekly basis. But can he do it consistently? And that's been the issue for him whether it's due to health or performance. So given the matchup given the circumstances
That's why there's no for me at least strong feel towards starting the two quarterbacks and no feel towards starting anybody
But Tyree kill just because it's Tyree kill and and that's simply the reason
30th best wide receiver with two atunga by Lowe
I throw it out the window 40th on the season. I throw it out the window. It's he's capable of winning
a game on on on one play and nobody wants to sit that. So I haven't ranked to I probably
but with the other guys they're all number three receivers at best.
Okay. How about how about Jackson Smith and J.B. over everyone except Hill in this game?
Over Hill.
Over Hill.
Over Hill.
Okay.
All right.
So that was a that was a I could find.
I start Sutton over Hill.
I start Jacobi Myers over Hill.
You know, I don't know how far I want to go obviously.
How about like Jerry Judy?
Not in this matchup.
No.
Most weeks I'd say yes, but not against Denver.
Is there a Bears receiver that anybody would start over Tyree kill?
How about how about over Jayden Reid instead of Tyree? I'd start all three over Jayden Reid. I would too
Like no Dobbs. Here's the thing about the Dolphins like show me a good wide receiver. They've done well against
They've had the easiest schedule. I think Jacobi Myers is the only good wide receiver. They've done well against this year
They've had the easiest schedule. I think Jacobi Myers is the only good wide receiver they've done well against this year.
Christian Kirk had a bad game, but other than that, I mean, Marvin Harrison, 111 yards in
a touchdown, Cooper Cup and Pukinakua both had over 80 yards, 80 or more yards.
DK Mechav 104 yards in a touchdown.
They just beat up Philly, so I don't know.
No, I'm just saying, you look at their schedule, they haven't done well against any good receivers
except Jacobi Myers is not even that good. that game Brock Bowers had a million yards.
You know, so I think the Dolphins, they haven't, second few was fancy, more so wide receivers.
I just want to point out they really haven't done it against tough competition.
How often have they been thrown on?
Because you mentioned that with Chicago.
It's a great question.
Right.
And so, so there's, there's a couple of things in play here. The Packers are not
like the Dolphins. They will let Jordan Love hold onto the ball and he will happily hold onto the
ball for a long time. And I like what I've seen from the Dolphins pass rush over the last couple
of weeks. Oh yeah. Yeah. Sealer's been good, but Chop Robinson has really come on and they've,
they can generate something there and that offensive line for Green Bay might be a little
overrated and Josh Jacobs, you said phenomenal.
He's been amazing.
Why would they get away from that in this matchup, especially in the cold and all that?
All right. I think that this could be a low volume game again for Jordan Love.
And that's what worries me.
And if they somehow fall behind, that pass rush could be a real problem for Jordan Love.
Sorry for interrupting. Dolphins pass rush had been struggling,
but last week, 41.3% pressure rate against New England.
All right, we'll leave it at that.
And that was New England, let's be honest,
that offensive line isn't very good.
We'll leave it at that.
And does anybody want to start a DST?
No.
Like from this game?
Yeah.
Or just in general?
Packers.
I'd really rather not start one at all.
Right.
Yeah, same.
Giants are at the Cowboys.
It's the game.
I don't have the music.
So, you know.
This is not even close.
No, it's not.
This is the game you turn off when dinner's served.
That's a terrible song, I'm sorry.
Yeah, stat of the game.
That's why you sing.
Rico Daddle has 19 to 20 carries and the last two Cowboys wins.
The Giants have allowed 13.1 or more PPR fantasy points to a running back in all but one game.
I definitely feel like I'm going to buy into Rico Daddle.
I definitely feel like I'm going to hate myself for it, at least before the game.
Hopefully that hopefully comes through.
So Jamie, I'll start with you.
If we compare Rico Dowdle and Tyrone
Tracy to all of these wide receivers that we've been talking about, except for Tyree
Kill, I don't think people are going to start them over Tyree Kill or obviously Amara St.
Brown. How do you feel about Dowdle and Tyrone Tracy compared to the Bears wide receivers,
Jamison Williams, Jaylen Waddell, the Packers wide receivers?
Dowdle for me is the best of the guys that you just mentioned.
I think he's going to have a big game against the giants based on what we saw with our
run defense last week and how many, how much, uh, how much work he had last week for the
Cowboys.
It looked like there was a serious commitment to him in what I would consider to be a tougher
matchup than what he's facing this week.
And I thought he did deliver a strong game. Tracy's a little bit tough to trust right now
You know he should have a great opportunity here to play well based on the season statistics for the Cowboys now their run defense
Did better, but how much of that was both running backs getting hurt clearly Eckler was late in the game
But Robinson going out you know I'm sure that changed the entire tenor of it Robinson was my start of the week last week
So I expect them to run well
The fumbles though you got to be worried that you know is he gonna get punished?
Is he gonna get punished? Certainly if he fumbles again, you know we saw it in the
game last week. So I would start Tracy if I have him comparatively to some other
running backs but based on what these receivers could do, like the Bears
receivers could all have a chance to go off you know especially if you know
looking at how Heath has it ranked, if Odunse is gonna deliver based on what
Keenan Allen did last week and based on what DJ Moore's done in the last two weeks
like there's a chance for all three of them here to be successful so the Bears
receivers I would start over Tracy the Packers receivers a little bit tougher
to trust Jaylen Wild was obviously tough to trust so I'd probably stick with Tracy
there but I think we go Dallas in line for a good game. It certainly seems that way
okay Giants run defense is just awful. Dave, how are we feeling about neighbors and lamb?
Volume is going to be key for both of them.
I like lamb better.
I like that lamb has been anywhere from decent to good with Cooper Rush now in the couple
handful of games that they've played together.
I am very scared of any Giants player this week.
Neighbors is a number two wide receiver by default,
but it's just because he could get double digit targets
and fall into solid production in PPR leagues.
That offensive line was terrible last week.
It's gonna be terrible this week.
Cowboys pass rush has gotten much better.
They've been much better as a defense overall
since Michael Parsons has come back.
Not a shock whatsoever.
And Tommy DeVito is a quarterback is, is just not good.
And that's something that we all knew going in, but putting them behind that
offensive line with both tackles playing terribly and a little Illuminor got hurt.
Uh, I, I don't, I don't want to trust Tracy.
I don't really want to trust neighbors is anything more than like a low end to
middling number two fantasy wide receiver, even in full PPR.
Uh, would you start doubt or over neighbors?
I'm not there yet, but I endowed like I get everything Jamie said, and I agree
with it and the matchup is excellent for him, but with the offensive line, not
strong for Dallas, I've got some concerns about Dowdell and I almost
feel like I have him ranked too high. He's in my top 24 among running backs and I feel
like that's a little too high.
And Zeke still gets to jump in the, in the, the, the.
Oh yeah. Oh, that's a, that really could happen. Donald hasn't, Donald has zero rushing touchdowns
this year on 112 carries. Oh, I hate that. He also has,
you know, pretty regularly is getting three or more, three catches around three catches. That's
good. I think most people are still going to start Malik neighbors. But I think the stat that really
blew me away with Malik neighbors is that he is averaging 1.6 yack per catch, yuck per catch in
his last six games.
It's terrible. How is that even possible? I can't wait for next
year. There's got to be a quarterback.
I guess he just he doesn't he never scores the lowest scoring
team in football and he's not doing anything after the catch
and they never throw it deep to him either. No big plays. All
right, this this hit the quarterbacks by the way, we
didn't know better or worse if drew lock starts. Yeah, by the way, we didn't even know. Better or worse if Drew Lock starts them.
Yeah, I was going to say we didn't have another problem.
I feel like I do think just remembering the last two weeks of the Cowboys playing better
against receivers like Nico had that screen for a long touchdown called back.
McLaurin had that dumb touch.
You don't have to have a pass 30 yards downfield to score against this defense. They still do dumb
things sometimes neighbors, neighbors might have an 80 yard
touchdown in this game.
It did help them though getting their on-blank back.
Yeah, they're on-blank back. Mike, they've been better.
Honestly, they've been a little bit better since Micah Parsons
came back a couple weeks ago. Yeah, I had a bad fourth quarter
against.
Also, like speaking of Micah Parsons, the Cowboys are still
available in 40% of leagues.
They're my number one DST this week.
They are not available in any of my leagues.
I put in those claims.
They are available.
I saw the Bills DST available in some leagues.
They could be really good this week under the right circumstances.
All right.
Anything else here?
Schoonmaker.
Schoonman.
Jamie, start us at Luke Schoonmaker.
I would say him. I mean, for whatever whatever it's worth this Giants team has been
really good against tight ends it happened again last week with K.
Doughton I don't know if it's a lack of targets lack of production because of a
lack of targets just tight ends have not done well Zach Earth had two terrible
games against them.
I forget the list of guys.
I just remember that Earth was you know somebody that I said sit at the time.
Well Jake Ferguson he had seven for 49 on seven targets.
And that was, I think the best PPR game that anyone's had against them.
They got it.
There's not, but, and I don't know if Jamie agrees with it.
Like if I picked up him, Schoonmaker to stream him last week, there's not a
streamer this week that I like better.
So I'm probably just starting him again.
Yeah.
I would hope most people who picked him up, did it with six teams on a buy.
Right.
And everybody back, like you can certainly make a case for
scoon maker over Laporta and maybe even pits and, and some of these other
guys that have been struggling.
Uh, I just think you
know if he doesn't have that big play he had a really bad startling only two
tight ends have had more than four targets against the Giants pretty much
it yeah Jutavian Sanders okay let's get to Las Vegas at Kansas City on Friday
stat of the game there have been eight wide receivers
with seven to 10 targets against the Chiefs.
Seven of those wide receivers have scored 14.6
or more PPR fantasy points against Kansas City.
You get, if you get seven to 10 targets,
almost always do well, very well, against Kansas City.
The only exception was Zay Flowers in week one.
So, Jacobi Myers, does he get seven or more targets?
He's done that in six of his last seven games.
That's kind of.
Favorite wide receiver on the show.
Besides, I'm on Rossi Brown, I think.
Lam.
Oh, Lam, man, there's too many games today.
I know.
Okay, but we like, we got it.
Like, yeah, he's very good.
He did well against them last time.
He gets a lot of volume.
It's, it's a good situation.
For sure.
It will be interesting because they've been so bad against tight ends, but they
made it like their focus against the Raiders last time was stop Bowers and
Bowers still scored 10 fantasy points.
Um, but I think they'll, they'll let Jacobi Myers have his to stop hours.
But I think they'll let Jacobi Meyers have his to stop Bowers. Yeah, I think, I personally think the Chiefs have struggled since they lost Jalen Watson,
their number two cornerback.
But so it's really only relevant for Jacobi Meyers, but Meyers and Bowers are starts.
Does it even matter who the running back is?
Are you guys going to have, Dave, are you going to have a Raiders running back in the top 30?
No, no.
And the fact that Madison was practicing early on in the week just tells me that he could
be the running downs guy and Amir Abdullah could be the passing downs guy.
And there goes any, I don't know if it really was gonna mean anything that Abdullah played
as many snaps as he did because he still only had like 13 touches last week, but he could
still get five catches.
I just don't know how many carries he'll get with Madison there. And I thought McCormick
didn't look terrible in his limited audition. So maybe he gets in and sees three or four
carries on top of it. I would avoid the whole thing. Plus Kansas City against the run. They've
been dominant. Number one, number one. Jamie, let's talk about, okay, Mahomes, right?
Great start this week.
Great start this week.
Yes, he is the number one quarterback projected
by SportsLink.
Yeah, he's the number five quarterback per game
and six point for passing touchdown leagues
in his last five games on pace for 4,366 yards,
41 touchdowns, plus another 357 rushing yards.
Lot of short stuff.
Like we said at the beginning of the season,
just gotta wait until we catch it, he'll show up.
Lot of short stuff, almost nothing downfield.
In fact, he's got 12 touchdowns in his last five games
and 11 of them.
He's gonna steal the MVP watch.
From 11, no way, 11 fewer yards.
Oh yeah.
There have been some shots downfield,
it's just Xavier Worthy always catches them
with one foot out of bounds.
All right. So that's all he's got to do.
So I said earlier, he said the chief said they're going to determine the
running back split in game.
So that seems to indicate that Pacheco is going to play this week.
How do you feel about the chief's running backs in a wonderful matchup?
I would rather cream hunt will be the one I want to start, but like, I'll
probably have Hunt just ahead of Deandre Swift, well ahead of Nick Chubb,
definitely ahead of anybody.
I wouldn't start anybody off the waiver wire ahead of Kareem Hunt.
Um, but also if you had two good running backs and Kareem Hunt, then now
you have two good running backs and Kareem Hunt, then now you have two good running backs.
What about Tracy and Dowdell?
They're all going to be in the same range,
but I will probably have Tracy and Dowdell
just ahead of Hunt.
You have to play them Thursday though,
because we don't know if Pacheco will actually play.
Yeah, hopefully we'll know by then,
but it certainly seems like Pacheco is going to play.
Dave, would you start a wide receiver for the Chiefs?
As no more than a number three wide receiver,
and Hopkins only in PPR, worthy, very much a boomer bus
type of play, and the floor is pretty low.
Yeah, I mentioned on Beyond the Box,
we're now talking about two weeks in a row.
When Juju's on the field, Hopkins is usually off the field.
So it's like they split one role and Justin Watson plays too much.
It's they don't just don't play enough.
I have two Packers and two dolphins ahead of any chiefs wide receiver.
Okay.
Makes sense.
Anybody starting Noah Gray, Noah Gray or Luke Schoonmaker?
Schoonmaker.
I would actually go gray. Schoonmaker? Schoonmaker. I would actually go Gray.
Schoonmaker will play more than Gray, so just from that alone and I think he's got a better path to
more targets. You're hoping Noah Gray's safe? What? Who had more targets last week? I don't know,
I don't know the answer. I think Schoonmaker. Gray only had four? No, I thought Schoonmaker may have
only had maybe only three
catches and five targets. It was something like that, but they were both pretty low.
They both scored. They both came through gray more so than than schoonmaker. I think no
gray was used. Gray was used more as like kind of that middle of the field guy, short
area targets, kind of like what juuju was doing before Juju got hurt.
And a little bit of what Rishi Rice was doing
before Rishi Rice got hurt.
And so if he manages to keep doing that
and maybe sees a little uptick in his playing time,
at that point would I consider him a viable fantasy tight end?
Otherwise I'd be calling him a good bye week tight end.
He's a good streaming tight end
That that's really where Noah Gray lands for me
Start the chiefs DST and someone told me in the comments yesterday on YouTube that the song spoon man is about a street performer Who played music with spoons?
So now now we know
Don't if you don't like your kicker pick up Matt, right and then just drop him if
Wasn't a trader place If you don't like your kicker, pick up Matt Wright and then just drop him if, uh, what's the name? Schrader plays. Um,
but this team just bleeds points to kickers, the Raiders.
Okay. That's it for today's show.
We've got more for you tonight at 9 PM Eastern.
We're doing our starter sit for the AFC home games.
That'll be our Thanksgiving show. And then, uh, Dave, Jamie and Heath,
