Starting point is 00:01:27 This is fantasy football today from CBS Sports. What a play! Can you believe this? It's a no idea. It's time to dominate your fantasy league. Off to the races and he stays on his feet. It's just going to go the distance. Now here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie, and Heath.
Starting point is 00:01:48 Hey, hey, what's up, everybody? It's mailbag time. Welcome to fantasy football today presented by BedMGM, the sports book born in Vegas. I got something that Dan Schneier is definitely going to like. Something you're going to dig. I feel it. You ready? Yes.
Starting point is 00:02:05 All right. This I brought, I intentionally stopped eating my lunch so I could bring this sandwich on the air for you. You love a nice sandwich, all right? So I got this, we got a little sesame bun, okay? Interesting. Seated bun. Seated bun. This is called the Untouchable.
Starting point is 00:02:22 We got, I put grilled chicken on it, but usually it's got a chicken cutlet. It's got some fresh moths, balsamic vinegar, and prosciutto. Oh, that's the best. So first of all, what do you mean usually it has chicken cutlet on it? Well, you're supposed to have chicken. You made the sandwich? No, no, no. I got it from Rockies Deli, which is amazing.
Starting point is 00:02:42 Oh, okay. It's a chicken cutlet sandwich. I go a little healthier. I went to the grilled chicken. That's a bad decision to start, but it specs out for you. Anytime you had prosciutto to a chicken cutlet sandwich, it's an excellent move. It's something that as so, you know, I'm not going to, this is going to get a lot of crap for me about what I'm about to say. But back in the day, about 11 years ago, I think I actually created the addition of prosciutto on a chicken gutlet sandwich.
Starting point is 00:03:10 I really do feel that way. You know, you went around delis. And this is a shout out to Tudofresco and old deli in Livingston, New Jersey. Old Italian lady, she used to work a deli out of her house, some of the best mozzarella you'll ever find, Mutz says they will call it the Italians. I'm not one of them, though I want to be, but I'll never be. But I order it. It was one of those delis where she kind of ran it like the soup Nazi.
Starting point is 00:03:32 So like she was mean to the customers and it was kind of like part of her charm. And the first time I asked for number eight, which is just chicken cutlet, the classic, chicken garlic, mozzarella, roasted red peppers, balsamic and like a root. Like that's, you see that one a lot. But I said, let's throw some prosciutto on that. She took a step back. But instead of like roasting me, like she roasts all the other people. and I was a regular at that point
Starting point is 00:03:53 I was going with once or twice a week she's like all right and she did it and then she started liking it when I ordered it and it became my sandwich so I do feel like 11 years ago no one was ordering the prosciutto on that like adding the prosciutto
Starting point is 00:04:04 I kind of feel like I was a pioneer in that I love it all right good stuff no pursuit for you okay and let me say this before we start you need to be roasted for this let's start let's start you can roast me later because listen we have a time limit today you guys have a draft to get to so let's start
Starting point is 00:04:18 we got your emails fantasy football at cbsi.com we got your Apple podcast questions. We got your YouTube comments at the end of the show, and we'll start with your draftathon questions. And this one's an easy one. Joel says, can you give a shout out to my wife and two-time breast cancer survivor, Lindsay Wolfe? She listens every single day. Shout out to Lindsay Wolf. Shout out, Lindsay. Thank you for supporting the show. I believe Lindsay Wolf, I recall, is a big Bills fan. So go Bills in your honor. Lindsay, thank you. Yeah. Right. All right. This one's from Dragon.
Starting point is 00:04:53 What movie is this from, by the way? Two Dragon. Oh, I know this one. Give me a second. Two Dragons. That's Dodge Wall. No. Two Dragons is, I think it's Starsky and Hutch with Wilf.
Starting point is 00:05:04 Oh, no. I thought you were seeing. Bull me, Blazer. Isn't it Dragon? Don't he call himself Dragon or something in that movie? No. Stop. I'm the second and the fifth pick in two different 10 team leagues.
Starting point is 00:05:19 Their full PPR, four point per passing touchdown. leagues start two receivers and a flex do i go tight end quarterback with my second and third picks in both of these full ppr 10 team leagues i have the second and the fifth pick do you support tight end quarterback in the second and third rounds tight end and quarterback in the second and third rounds in a 10 team league 10 team league we only start two receivers i don't problem with that yeah i mean i wouldn't go in with i'm only doing that and that strategy only like you know you may get someone that falls to you that you can't pass up so be flexible jama i have news for you Dave richard telling me that micha parsons has dual eligibility dline and linebacker
Starting point is 00:06:10 in cbs and that is uh gonna shatter some idp leagues yeah you start him at d line it's it's a it's a big deal okay um From Scott, I have the seventh pick in a 12-team PPR league. In my mock drafts, assuming I take Christian McCaffrey at seven. Are you guys hearing that noise? What noise? Dave, Imming me. It's going through my Gmail and into...
Starting point is 00:06:38 I think that was your conscious telling you your stupid college football take is... I got like 14 slack messages. I hope you didn't hear. No, I never hear those. All right. Oh, yeah, probably his conscious kicking in about his horrific take about his football team earlier as college football team, we'll get to it later. Seventh pick in a 12-team PPR league.
Starting point is 00:06:52 In my mock drafts, assuming I take McCaffrey at 7, and I want two top 30 running backs and two top 25 wide receivers, my first five picks. In most mock drafts, Drake London and AJ Brown seem to be the first available wide receivers at 18. I'm lacking conviction on Drake London because he has not consistently produced like a wide receiver 1 compared to Brown.
Starting point is 00:07:13 Can you change my mind on drafting London over Brown? Well, I think the news of Brown's hamstring injury being okay is going to make people feel a lot more at ease. So if you were in the Brown camp already, then you should just take AJ Brown and hope that he continues to do what he does. I think, and part of that also should be Darnal Mooney returning to practice too for the Falcons. So maybe the early season head start that London would have over everybody else on his team, let alone maybe AJ Brown is now, you know, that gap is now closed if you're looking at it. I just think to judge Drake London with the first two years of his career compared to last year is not fair. So I think what we saw last year is an indication of what kind of player he's going to be, what he was drafted to be in the NFL. You could have some concerns about Michael Pennix and can he support a receiver to the level of what a top 10 receivers should produce.
Starting point is 00:07:59 I think he showed that at least in the couple of games that he started last year, a small sample size, but I was confident enough. So for me, I like London situation just a little bit better because while I have my doubts about Saquan Barclay in the run game there in Philly being as successful, I still think that the past offense for the Falcons will be a little bit more prevalent than the past offense for the Eagles if things go right for both teams. Yeah, I mean, you look at last year the tempo that the Falcons played with, a lot of offensive plays. That's great for him. Michael Panix's skill set specifically fits London. It's a lot of intermediate shots outside the numbers. that's his game down the field outside the numbers that's where london wins so i think the fit is really great there's going to be a lot of offensive plays better passing environment but i
Starting point is 00:08:43 understand that you know a j brown has produced and and london hasn't but we're projecting moving forward yeah but i'm still taking a j brown oh are you yeah easily actually it's really not even close for me um he he he was wide receiver what uh sorry he was like wide receiver 13 per game or something like that last year, but I still think he was better than London per game. And the Falcons... You're taking out week 18. I don't know if I am. But the Falcons had the
Starting point is 00:09:15 seventh most passing yards in football last year. So I don't see them eclipsing that. And with that, Drake London was wide receiver 15 per game. I might be a little off. He was fourth overall, but he averaged 16.5
Starting point is 00:09:30 PPR fantasy points per game. That made him wide receiver 14. A.J. Brown was at 16.7. They're basically tied. So that was London with 158 targets in 17 games. A.J. Brown, 97 and 13 games. I don't know what the pace was. But bottom line is, on a per target basis,
Starting point is 00:09:45 I am not just confident, but basically 100% sure that A.J. Brown's going to be better than Drake, London. If I had to pick three wide receivers to lead the NFL in yards per route run, it would be A.J. Brown, Nico Collins, and Pooka.
Starting point is 00:09:58 Those are the three guys that really stand out in terms of efficiency. And I do think we keep saying, saying, like, you kind of like Devante Smith because you just think the Eagles are going to have to throw more than they did last year. Their run game won't be as successful. I also believe that. So A.J. Brown, once upon a time, had like 150-something targets with the Eagles. It was two or three years ago. He, I think, is an easy pick for me over Drake London. I could see London being better. But I never hesitate to take A.J. Brown over Drake London because he has proven himself to be a superior football player and a better fantasy option. Okay. So that's three different perspectives for you there. Next up, lost in my notes. Okay, we have another one from Scott. He actually donated twice. Nice. Thank you, Scott. Yeah. 12 team PPR, one player keeper league. We have a one player keeper league and I can take Shakir in round eight or Mooney in round 12 or neither. What would you do? Mooney in round 12
Starting point is 00:10:59 And I think it's the right call And it's better than neither at this point Mooney is better health projection than we expected Should be ready for week one In that same offense we just kind of described Could be a really good player Who'd you give me a hard time About taking Mooney over Coker right in Dynasty
Starting point is 00:11:16 I didn't give you a hard time about that I would have taken both And I was just I guess maybe More at the moment excited about Coker Just with the opportunity that he has in front of him, but I wanted both. What I said to you was, because you were, because I know you look at my rankings, I just updated my rankings and put
Starting point is 00:11:35 Koker ahead of Mooney. Don't flatter yourself. And so I was like, oh, he's going to take, he's going to take cocker here. I'm like, all, I'll get Mooney. And then you're like, well, I'm going to take Mooney. I'm like, oh, no, don't do that. Yeah, well, I did it. Okay.

I'm going to ask Dan to promo beyond the box score in a little bit. Buy me some time. But first, let's go to our emails. If it's promos or as long as their show, you could eat your whole sandwich and get your
Starting point is 00:12:43 dinner, too. I could go out, kill the chicken, cook it, clean it, cook it. I can do all that now. But you know what? That's the point of Beyond the Box score. It's going to be longer. The wide receiver rankings episode was two hours and 50 minutes. It's crazy.
Starting point is 00:13:01 I'm not making fun of it. People like that stuff. There was also auction stuff within it and listener questions. Good for you. If we go over 50 minutes, you scream with us. Yeah, we have a different show. They're going beyond the box score. You do what you have to do, and it's your show.
Starting point is 00:13:18 I'm not going to criticize it. I think it's great. We've kept some of them shorter, and we're ultimately aiming to go shorter. But when we do that, people always say, go longer. And we want more of this. Exactly. It's that time of the year. People want tips for their drafts. All right. This one is from Jeff. What do you think about Jordan Addison's ADP would be without the suspension? I love this question because I've been drafting a whole lot of Jordan Addison. I feel like he's one of the best bargains right now in all of the wide receiver position.
Starting point is 00:13:45 ADP wise, let's take a look now at where I'm just looking at my rankings. I think he'd probably be in the range where we're drafting. golden right like that range of receiver above golden but that's no no suspension no thielin no and thelan's there delin's there no dealin's there so thilin's there no suspension so if there's no suspension i think that's a fair range to draft him i do think though with the suspension and with thelan because it's not just thelan being there that i think is going to be a problem it's they come back to week four I believe it's at Pittsburgh it's definitely Pittsburgh
Starting point is 00:14:26 then it's Cleveland which is not a horrific matchup but then it's a bye week so you may not be starting Jordan Addison your fantasy thing until week seven now again what's the difference between him and Rashi Rice if you want to make that comp in terms of games missed
Starting point is 00:14:41 and maybe upside downside you know I don't think anybody's going to say Addison's a better fantasy option than Rice but it just might not have the the want to get Addison in your starting lineup until post-by. So we said the Golden Range, what does that mean? I mean, we were talking right?
Starting point is 00:14:59 Because Golden on our website's going 100th around there. Dan did say we're drafting Golden. So I expect that to be round seven. Round seven. Yeah. Okay. So Addison, yeah, it's funny with Thielen. Thielen, we've got to give this guy credit.
Starting point is 00:15:14 He's been really, really productive for someone his age. He's 35. We're worried about 32-year-old. receivers this dude's 35 he might he might be done you know he might not be much of an impact but we'll see i i i do like him in certainly going to like him in some daily situations when they play cincinnati in the first three weeks you know there's there's good potential there for him because look he's not going to take long to get i think long to be a contributor uh and thomas did point out it's funny anytime i say something about a viking player so for anybody that
Starting point is 00:15:49 doesn't use stream yard there's a list of three columns where it says i i don't have the same as you guys but uh it says private chat and comments so whenever i say something about the vikings i always wait for like a a little icon to pop up in the private chat because i know thomas is going to say something either either agreeing or disagreeing with something that i just said or one of us just said so thomas correctly pointing out that those two games against the steelers and the browns are in europe uh i was surprised that there wasn't more comment on my earlier uh suggestion in the full-length show on Friday about Harrison Smith being a Hall of Famer. He did make a comment, but I thought he would be a more pro-Harrison Smith.
Starting point is 00:16:25 Yeah, and Harrison's, look, one of the concerns I have about the Vikings is that their defense could be great, and it will limit their passing opportunities. And that is what we saw last year to a degree. They did not throw the ball as much as they usually do, and they had the best defense that they've had in the Kevin O'Connell era. We're going to take a break, and we're going to come back and read more of your emails. We have the fantasy cops later as well. We'll be right back.

Starting point is 00:17:31 This one is from Brian. Brian is drafting 10th in a 12-team Superflex league. How crucial is it to take a quarterback in the early rounds? Since I'm drafting later and won't get one of the top studs, is it okay if I totally punt and end up with a combination like Tua and Pennix?
Starting point is 00:17:48 in order to load up at the other positions? 10-team Superflex league with a pick in the early part of the draft? It is a 12-team Superflex league. He has the 10th pick, so you've got a lot of that wrong. He has one of the later picks in a 12-team Superflex PPR League. So the question you have to ask yourself, first off, of the top five quarterback falls, that's a no-brainer to me. You know, so you get one of Jackson, Allen, Daniels, Burrow, Hertz.
Starting point is 00:18:16 No question. I'm taking it. do you want to take my homes in the first round? And so if you want to take my homes in the first round, then commit to it. And you should be either all in or a little bit, you know, questioning who you passed up for him. So I would probably say let somebody else take my homes and maybe see what happens in round two if you want to go Baker or Knicks or one of those guys. But I think you can get away with waiting on quarterback and double up with the position a little bit later. I would take the two best non-quarterback talents with your first two picks in this spot.
Starting point is 00:18:48 I think otherwise you're chasing at quarterback and I see a big drop off after the five. This is obviously assuming none of the five are there, which I don't think they will be. Then on the comeback, you're looking at that bottom tier range, I think, but you could still probably get like a Lawrence Stroud or a Lawrence Jordan Love combination there or JJ love something like that, which is not terrible, I don't think. Just try to, if you go this route and you're going to take the two best skill position players, one and two, make sure you're first to your quarterback three. I'm looking at the Superflex draft we did last week
Starting point is 00:19:19 where I waited a very long time for quarterbacks. Too long, probably. But look at an early pickup, but it ended up kind of fine, I think. You ended up getting it. It's okay. But looking at Team 10, that was Jake. He drafted, he drafted Mahomes in round one, but he could have taken, you know, like Barclay and Nico
Starting point is 00:19:41 or McCaffrey and Neighbors or something like that. And then in rounds... I had McCaffrey. in Lika, right? You did have McCaffrey and Nico. Oh, okay, right. So we'll take a look at your team, too. And then in rounds three and four, is exactly what Dan was saying.
Starting point is 00:19:54 It was guys like Jordan Love, Caleb Williams, Trevor Lawrence, Justin Herbert. They were all available. Kyler Murray and Drake May went just before that 10th pick. But Jamie took only one quarterback with his first four picks. So he went McCaffrey, Nico Collins, Drake London, Jordan Love, 12-team PPR Superflex. and then his QB2 is J.J. McCarthy, and his QB3 is Bryce Young. Yeah, he did a good job there with what I said.
Starting point is 00:20:20 Be first to your QB3. I like that. And Jackson, Dart. Love that. You got dart on that team? Nice. Great, great job. All right, this one's from Powell.
Starting point is 00:20:29 Is there any certainty? Just before we wrap that up, what you did and what I did, because you drafted four quarterbacks also, I believe you only have one bench-wide receiver who's Quentin Johnson. Yes, I am going to have to make a trade. So that's something, but no, I mean, that's something that in Superflex that I try to do is I draft many quarterbacks. I think I have five quarterbacks. What did you say? Four?
Starting point is 00:20:54 I know you have at least four. Maybe you do have five. I have Stroud. I have Flacco, who I'm starting early in the season, Cam Ward, Spencer Rattler, and Aaron Rogers. So if I can turn. Dan loved when you made that Spencer Rattler picking. Praise you enough. Yeah, he hated the pick.
Starting point is 00:21:13 It goes before he won the job, but I figured he would win the job. If I could turn Aaron Rogers into Christian Kirk or something like that, then I think I'll get better about- You've just drafted Christian Kirk over. I don't know. I don't know who went first. If you can trade a quarterback in a super flex league for only Christian Kirk, then you'd If I could do Rattler, well, who went first? Nobody's straight.
Starting point is 00:21:32 That was a bad example. But if I could turn Rogers into like Roma Dunzee, who went, they went back-to-back, but maybe I can do even better than that. You know, Heath says in a dynasty startup, League, quarterbacks are never going to be cheaper in a Superflex Dynasty Startup League, quarterbacks are never going to be cheaper than they are on Draft Day. And that's how I feel about Superflex. You know, as soon as there's an injury at quarterback, you are holding the cards in the trade market.
Starting point is 00:21:58 And you can do better than what you would have been able to do on draft day. You're right. Okay. That is a good point. All right. Next up is from Powell. Is there any certainty in the Browns, Cowboys, Steelers, Jaguars, Giants, or Commanders, Backfields. Say those ones again, Jags?
Starting point is 00:22:15 No. Let's go one by one. Yeah. Browns. No. No. All right, so just give me, like, real quick. I don't want to make this a five-minute answer,
Starting point is 00:22:23 but your best guess of what it's going to look like, Browns. Dylan Samson and Jerome Ford sharing the job for the majority of the season. I think Jerome Ford will have the main lead on that job, and Samson will sprinkle in. I don't know about Judkins. Cowboys. Javante Williams early in the season. Jaden Blue sprinkled in when he's,
Starting point is 00:22:43 healthy and a mess yeah i think it'll be javante williams for beginning of the season with like like same thing james said at no point i think blue will take over the job i think at best he'll have like a pollard role that he had with them i think they ultimately trade for running back at the deadline i wonder why you say that i mean i feel like jaden blue doesn't have a lot of i'm drafting javante i hate that he starts with the eagles but then after that his schedule gets better. If he could get off to a good start, he could really be a big asset in fantasy. But you don't think Blue, like, Blue's got a lot more juice than Giovante.
Starting point is 00:23:18 You don't think he has a chance. I think, I said, I could take over a Tony Pollitt role in the second half of the season. Not, not do the, not do the Rico Dowdell and just take over the job. Not the Dowdell. I don't think he has, he's way too small for the Dowdell. You can't do the Dowdell? I think he could do the Dowdell for half a season. I also think, like, the key is going to be, now that they trade in Micah, the key is going to be, like,
Starting point is 00:23:36 who is getting those snaps when they're in hurry up and they're down, you know, they're doing these shootouts that Dallas is going to be in who's on the field with them at running back because that's going to be a decent role like Daff will check down to that player it might be Williams he had like 80 targets or have 50 49 receptions over the last few years with the Broncos somehow yeah I hope it's not Miles Sanders of that because you could see them yeah but Javonte is very good in past protection so that helps him okay Steelers I think there's a clarity yeah that sounded like a big sneeze you muted your mic just in time that was an unreal mute right there it was a great mute one of the
Starting point is 00:24:15 better mutes uh stealers i'm sorry jaby go ahead uh i think there is clarity i think we're going to see jalen warren start and kenneth came all be the second guy and caleb johnson has to work his way in i think ultimately caleb johnson will lead this backfield jaguars no idea no one knows from from what i think will happen is We'll see three guys touching the ball in the first few weeks this season, and then Bachel Tutin eventually takes over. I don't think Tutton will – well, you know what? I don't want to say I don't think Tutton will take over.
Starting point is 00:24:51 He's so talented and so fun on tape. I don't want to say that. But we didn't really see anyone take over for this offense in Tampa last year, and we did see what you mentioned, some three back games, Tucker early in the season, before some of those injuries. So I think it kind of stays with a three-person, three-back field for the whole season. Yeah, it's just weird because I feel like Tank Bigsby hasn't done anything to lose that job. He was a good rusher last year.
Starting point is 00:25:18 But we'll see. We'll see how it plays out. But he never really had the job. Yeah, I lose what job? The primary running downs back. And certainly not the goal line back. That just feels like it should be him. That should be him.
Starting point is 00:25:29 If they are playing with the lead, I think we're going to see 10 touches for three different guys. 10 touches each for three different guys. Giants. The Giants? No, the Giants one, I think, is the five. find my concern because i think tyron tracy's pretty good value right now but my concern dan is that scataboo will be the goal line back what do you think i i think this one is way more defined than the others tyron tracy's got almost every first team rep both in the preseason and training camp
Starting point is 00:25:55 scadaboo was hurt didn't get a chance of practice singletary mixes in not often the problem with that i don't still don't think that makes tracy a good fantasy aspect because he's playing on what should be a bottom six seven offense at best and he was removed a lot in the red zone last year and he was removed once in the preseason this year as well for Singletary. So if he's not the Red Zone guy and he's on a bad offense, despite playing like 80% of the snaps, I think he could play, at least early in the season. It's not a great situation.
Starting point is 00:26:23 Okay. And then Commanders. That's crazy, that one. You know what, the one guy I'm not really drafting on the commanders is Echler. Oh, I like Echler, a lot. They're not going to change his role. I think that's... His role's kind of fine for where he's being drafted, though.
Starting point is 00:26:40 It is, but if people expect him to take a big jump, I'm not sure I see it. What if they don't trust Rodriguez and Jacori, I'm sorry, Bill in past. I think you nailed that out. I'm like, there's so much more upside for Jacori-Crossky Merritt. Bill, Bill. There's no real inherent upside for Echler. Right, yeah, I mean. Well, the upside for Echler would be if they don't trust Bill and Rodriguez in past.
Starting point is 00:27:10 production and on these like hurry up okay but that's that was the same as last year right and and what was ecler was so lucky last year yeah ecler was so lucky to get the fan is he was so efficient with his touches last year but he really didn't have that many touches he averaged five carries per game when brian robinson was healthy but corey groskey merit has to be the first one drafted right bill crossy merritt just because it's for me i mean they will still tell you exactly the upside yeah yeah all right thank you pal good question this one's from abraham Many fantasy managers target players on teams with weak defenses, assuming that being behind forces more passing and scoring opportunities. I actually prefer players on teams with strong defenses.
Starting point is 00:27:46 A quality defense not only keeps games competitive, but also sets up the offense with favorable field position through turnovers and stops. Am I alone on this? There's two examples that come to mind in terms of the extreme. Last year, it was the Chief's defense being so good that we didn't have to see a lot of explosive production from their offense. until they needed to late in the fourth quarter because it was just sort of okay hey go get a touchdown sure we can do that we do it whenever we want to they just for whatever reason determined they didn't want to and then the blake boardels led jaguars you know when it was just they were so bad and then it was just all these fourth quarter blitzkrieg production that you would get late in games because they were just throwing and throwing and throwing so much so look the bangles defense was awful last year and it led to a lot of great production for their offensive stars right um i i just think if you have a good offense it doesn't doesn't matter. Agreed. And if you have a bad offense, it doesn't matter.
Starting point is 00:28:41 I still prefer the bad defense over the good defense because I think there's more examples of that. But I'm going to give you this stat. Can I give this stat I gave this morning? Sure. I was going to say, like, the Lions last year, they did have a better offensive finish than they did in the beginning because their defense was so horrible. Right.
Starting point is 00:28:56 I think if you can pair a good offense with a bad defense, then you're talking. But if you have a bad offense, having a bad defense, having a bad defense, you're talking. I don't think is really going to affect it. Right, right, right. Yeah, so basically I looked at the last four years and the teams that finished bottom five in points allowed. So the five worst defenses in football. And of those 20 teams, only six of them were top 10 in pass attempts.
Starting point is 00:29:22 I didn't look at scoring. I just looked at pass attempts because that's what we really love in football. So it didn't really change the outcomes of the past. It didn't really change the amount of pass attempts, right? Only six out of 20 were top 10 in past attempts. of the worst defenses in football. So I was pretty surprised by that. And again, my theory was a lot of them were low in time of possession.
Starting point is 00:29:44 So, you know, bad defense, your offense isn't going to be on the field all that much if you have a bad defense sometimes. Right, right. All right. Next question is from John. How would you rank the backup high potential running backs? I drafted the first three, assuming he means Mason, Charbonnet, Braille, Allen, and Giovante Williams.
Starting point is 00:30:03 But I need to make space to fill out my roster. So he has Ray Davis, he has Braylin Allen, he has Bejel Tootin, and now he has Ali Gordon. And he wants to, maybe he meant those guys, I don't know. But if we're looking at those four, Ray Davis, Braylin Allen, Bejel Tootin, Ali Gordon, how would you rank them, Jamie? Tutin, Gordon. Who is it? Ray Davis, no else? Yeah, you missed number one for you, Braylin Allen.
Starting point is 00:30:33 Oh, Allen one, Tutton, two, Gordon, three. Davis for? I did want to ask you about Allen, since you're obviously high on him. I think my issue is like, okay, if Ray Davis is going to be useless while James Cook is healthy, but if Cook gets hurt, you know, whew, Jamie Eisenberg, Rocket Ship emoji tweet. If Breeze Hall gets hurt, I feel like they get Isaiah Davis mixed in. And you already have a situation where you have a quarterback who steals all the goal lines. Like, it's not good for running backs anyway. So I guess I'm a little.
Starting point is 00:31:06 I don't know if Buffalo's the best example, but sure, to account of that. But we saw, but we, well, but they get two, they get near the goal line so much that, you know, we've, we saw it work. And we saw Braille and Allen, we saw Ray Davis one game without Cook last year and he had like 20 points or something. So I would, just challenging you on the Braylon Allen thing. Do you think he has that big Charbonnet like potential or even Ray Davis like potential if Bruce Hall were to get hurt? So I think the, the Charbonnet Davis, like, Sharvin is going to be an interesting one because how much will he play in tandem with Ken Walker? So it comes down to like when you sort of separate these, you know, quote-unquote handcuffs.
Starting point is 00:31:47 I think Jordan Mason is going to play a lot in tandem with Aaron Jones. I think Braylin Allen is going to play a lot in tandem with Brise Hall. I don't think Ray Davis is going to play a lot in tandem with James Cook. But to your point, if there's an injury, there's an injury to Christian McCaffrey, as we saw last year with the two separate backups. If there's an injury to any of these top-tier guys, the second guy will step in and hopefully dominate. But it's also, you know,
Starting point is 00:32:12 will you be able to get value out of these players while the other guy is healthy? And so that's the question you have to ask yourself. So I do think that we're going to see Charbonnet play, you know, based on some of the reports that Ken Walker missing time has opened the door for more opportunities for Charbonnet to be out there. So, really it's a matter of, you know, what draft capital you want to invest in these guys. Again, Braylon Allen is somebody for me that I'm aggressively drafting.
Starting point is 00:32:40 So his average draft position right now is still like round 11. And I take him as early as round 8. So too aggressive, probably, yeah. I'm not shying away from that. If you just want to wait, you know, Heath has a great, you know, strategy for this is that you want to kind of load up on your receivers early. So you're not having to chase the Jalen Coker's demarc. Mario Douglas, you know, Rashid Shaheed group,
Starting point is 00:33:03 and instead you're just spending all your capital late on Ray Davis and Dylan Samson and, you know, those type of players. It's just a matter of, you know, what are you giving up in the early rounds at running back to sort of, you know, wait for those guys. Okay. All right.
Starting point is 00:33:18 Next question is from, oh, I don't have a name here, but it says, Dear Sonny, Nick and Todd. What is that? Nick is the second name? Oh, Nick. Sonny, Nick and Todd. Okay, I should have gotten this.
Starting point is 00:33:36 What is it? Georgia running backs. So it's Sony. It's Sony. Sony, Michelle. Classic. I feel I made a crucial draft mistake. Georgia running backs.
Starting point is 00:33:47 I drafted Stefan Biggs. There's a Georgia quarterback that I'm at the single worst take on before the show that you can even imagine. I drafted Stefan Diggs over a Mecca, Abuka, and a full PPR lead. Was this a bad move? I don't like the pick. I mean, Chris Godwin, we just heard yesterday, don't expect him back for the first four weeks, was it? Or until week four? At least.
Starting point is 00:34:12 That's at least. I think usually that's a, they're optimistic more so. So, man, Nick Buka is probably going to hit the ground running there. So I don't like that really at all. I don't like it either. You know, this is, you know, the conversation we had a few weeks ago about drafting early versus drafting late, you know, so anybody drafting this weekend would never do that. true you know at least for the most part um however you just we just did a whole episode on a
Starting point is 00:34:37 draft that stephan digs went before george pickens so wow people have an inkling on players that was an analyst draft and so sometimes you're going to have inclinations on players and you just may say okay digs is going to get locked into his role and have nobody to challenge for it at least based on expectations you asked the question earlier today i don't him. Would Abuka, can Chris Godwin get back to Israel? I forget I phrase it, but will Chris Godwin be fantasy relevant. I think I said, who do you think will be better, Godwin or Abuka when Godwin's back? I got to be honest with you. Like, he's coming off a major, major injury, had another surgery for it, is going to miss the first, at least month. I am out on Chris Godwin.
Starting point is 00:35:21 It could be stupid for me to say that, because I was kind of out on him last year and he was the best pick. I don't know if I was. I didn't have him. I don't know if I was out on him. But I have lowered expectations for Chris Godwin. Do you not feel that way? You're more optimistic? No, as I said this morning, I think there's a realistic chance he could be. Look, they're managing the injury. You know, I don't want to say just because he was slow coming off an ACL tear.
Starting point is 00:35:49 Yes, it's a major injury, but that doesn't necessarily guarantee he can't rebound from this injury quicker. And probably depending on how long or how well the team is doing, though, determine how quickly they want to rush him back into a feature role. All right, let's move forward to the grade the trade segment of today's show. This is from Mike in Buford, South Carolina. I traded Trayvion Henderson and Brock Bowers
Starting point is 00:36:11 for Buckey Irving and George Kittle. Remember, a C is average. Henderson and Bowers for Buckley Irving and Kittle. Yeah, yeah. C plus, about average. Pretty straight up even trade. Okay. Yeah, I agree. This one is from Dan Schaefer.
Starting point is 00:36:36 He's like the mascot of our show. He's Dan Schaefer guy. Yeah, he's... Very confusing. He's in a half-PPR league. He made a series of trades. He originally had Malik neighbors, Pooka Nakua, A.J. Brown, and Ken Walker. Wow.
Starting point is 00:36:51 Malik Neighbors, Puka, A.J. Brown. How the hell do you end up with all those guys on one team? And the keepers. Oh. And then now, through Trouca. He has, instead of Malik, Puka, A.J. Brown, and Ken Walker, he has Bucky Irving, Chase Brown, Brian Thomas, Jr. and Drake London. Wow.
Starting point is 00:37:11 You upgraded slightly. Yeah, I think it's an upgrade, too. C-plus. And Mason traded Garrett Wilson for James Connor. See? I'll go B-plus for me. I have Connor ranks pretty significantly higher than Garrett for me. All right, people are curious, what did I say about the Georgia Bulldogs?
Starting point is 00:37:32 We will tell you after this break on fantasy football today. Disgusting take. Oh, hi, buddy. Who's the best you are? I wish I could spend all day with you instead. Uh, Dave, you're off mute. Hey, happens to the best of us. Enjoy some goldfish cheddar crackers.
Starting point is 00:37:57 Goldfish have short memories. Be like goldfish. Miller Light. The light beer brewed for people who love the taste of beer and the perfect pairing for your game time.
Starting point is 00:38:10 When Miller Light set out to brew a light beer, they had to choose great taste or 90 calories per can. They chose both because they knew the best part of beer is the beer.
Starting point is 00:38:22 Your game time tastes like Miller Time. Learn more at millerlight. com. legal drinking age. All right, we're back here on FFT. So I'm missing a lot in the private chat, apparently. I'm going to go ahead and read that.
Starting point is 00:38:39 But go ahead, Dan. You can tell everybody the crazy thing I said before the show. Before the show, we're talking, Adam and I. I unfortunately had to watch my Wisconsin Badgers disgustingly win their first game, losing. Once again, their first string quarterback injured probably for the year. This fickle are has been unbelievably glad. I think our program's done.
Starting point is 00:38:59 But his program, he's excited about it. Miami Hurricanes. They just said Cam Ward, exciting, fun year. They're ranked 10th. They're facing the sixth ranked Notre Dame. Adam's really excited for this weekend. And he said, and then he's excited. And I was like, well, I mean, you do have Carson Beck at quarterback.
Starting point is 00:39:15 He's like, what do you mean Carson Beck at quarterback? He's like, are you crazy? I have a take. He's the dark horse candidate to be the number one overall pick in the 2026 NFL draft. This take is so beyond biased, so. littered with just homerism that let me unpack it for him. Carson Beck has a good frame for the NFL. Mets best armed talent was propped up by playing with Ladd McConkey and Brock Bowers
Starting point is 00:39:40 and that offensive line and that offense with a great defense was so bad last year when he was projected to potentially be the number one overall pick that he had to come back to college because he was such as this, you know, the draft analyst said to him, dude, don't come out this year, man. Like you might be like a fourth or fifth round pick type of thing. comes back to college, still can't move, still has a mad best arm talent. And yet Adam thinks, for some odd reason, he's going to be the number one overall pick when all is said and done because when you go to Miami, all of a sudden, you're a number one
Starting point is 00:40:10 pick. Yeah, first of all, I didn't say he was going to be. I said he was a dark horse candidate. Now, a year ago, a year ago today, Carson Beck was being talked about as the presumptive number one pick in the 2024. Spencer Radler at one point. Hey, I'm just telling you that he was viewed that way, that Carson Beck was viewed that way.
Starting point is 00:40:32 He had a disappointing but not bad season at Georgia. And then he hurt his elbow. He's coming off a torn UCL. So that contributed to him not going. But you know what? Cam Ward also was, you know, he wasn't really like a big winner at Washington State. He fumbled a lot.
Starting point is 00:40:51 And he thought about going to the NFL draft. He didn't. He went to Miami, played in a very good offensive system, the Hurricanes led the nation in points scored last year, played behind an amazing offensive line, it's going to be even better this year. So Carson Beck is going to be, Georgia led the nation in drops last season.
Starting point is 00:41:08 Carson Beck is going to be behind one of the best offensive lines in football. And his receivers are not that good, I don't think, but they might surprise us. But I would say that I'm basing my opinion on what I've seen other analysts say about Carson Beck. It's not like my opinion. You don't need to just go on other analysts.
Starting point is 00:41:26 No, I don't know. I mean, I don't watch college football like I watch the NFL, but other analysts seem to think that this is going to be great. And he was the most coveted quarterback in the transfer portal, like not even close. So you'll watch, you watch. He'll be a first round pick. I think not only will he not be a first overall pick.
Starting point is 00:41:41 He won't be a first round pick. I'll do a side bat with you on that. Okay. All right. Let's do. Oh, look at this win for me. Look at this quick win for me, Jamie. I'm sure he's trolling me and sarcastic,
Starting point is 00:41:52 but I'll just take it as he's not being sarcastic and he's telling me straight up. Dan, is that an oh-and-o on your fridge indicated with the magnets? It's very clear. Yes, thank you. Giants record. How could anyone see that? The mic stand is in the way now. Well, now the mic is in the way, but you can see that.
Starting point is 00:42:07 Oh, and O. Jamie loves this one. This is a Jamie favorite right here. I guess if you're watching and you expand, I'm going to expand the screen. I'll figure this out later. I'll make it clear as we move forward through the year. Things will improve in general with the background. I edit a Giants football back there.
Starting point is 00:42:20 Things are getting better. All right. I can see the O&O. I mean, it looks like eyes. I never would have thought that's a record. heard, but okay. Anyway, fantasy cops time. This one is from Dan. Different Dan. We have a league that's been running for 15 years with a bunch of college friends. $200 buy-in. Anyway, a newer guy has been auto-drafting every year for the last three years.
Starting point is 00:42:44 I think auto-draft ruins the draft experience because anytime someone slips in ADP, auto-draft snatches them up. The auto-draft guy ends up with the best draft grade every year, which probably emboldens him to do it every year. He pays his dues every year and sets his lineup. The only issue is the auto draft. Am I insane for wanting to kick him out of the league due to auto drafting every year? If he pays his dues and sets his lineup, who cares what he does on the draft? You're insane, Dan.
Starting point is 00:43:10 I completely disagree with that. Yeah, both Dan's are insane then, because you can't kick him out of league. Why would you want someone in your league who's not drafting and playing fantasy? No, he's playing. Yeah, he is playing. It's not about wanting. Part of fantasy is the draft. You want to draft your own team.
Starting point is 00:43:23 There's just more people you can get in the league who will be more. interested in this league. Okay, you're going to kick him out? Maybe he is interested, and I've misread the situation, and he just thinks his best strategies to auto draft. I guess that is possible. So, let's say if he, we don't know the situation. Let's say he comes to the draft live in person, but it's like, you know what?
Starting point is 00:43:41 I just want to hang out with my buddies and have fun. That I like. And I'm going to let the auto draft take care of it. I guess so they're doing a live draft, would they even have an auto draft? Or they do it live and on the computer, I guess. Yeah, that's a good point. actually is probably not a live draft they're all
Starting point is 00:43:59 putting stickers on board he's like I mean draft I could see it I don't even know what that would go to but yeah look I guess don't kick him out but ask him to play fans all right you're done this one is from a concerned
Starting point is 00:44:13 citizen from Durham dear John Clarence Neil and Brett no idea John Clarence Neil and Brett yeah Kansas City Royals pitchers.
Starting point is 00:44:29 What? Oh, Saberhagen? I don't even know who you're talking. Oh, I love that name, Brett Saber Hagan. We just completed our league's draft on Tuesday night. We got one keeper each that counts in the round drafted the prior year. The next day, the commissioner reached out to a couple of us who have been commissioner in the past. It's his first year as commish.
Starting point is 00:44:48 After he realized that one player's keeper was not set to a specific round during the draft. So that player got what should have been a ninth round keeper as his 16th round pick. We kicked around a couple of ideas, including restarting the draft after his ninth round keeper, docking some of his fab, I didn't like it since he didn't make the mistake,
Starting point is 00:45:08 or docking the commissioner's fab for screwing up. We will probably put it to vote, but what do you all think we should do? In all the years I've done this, this is a first. That's a tough one. I don't think any of those ideas were good to start. Do you think any of them were good, Jamie? So he didn't notice this himself.
Starting point is 00:45:27 No, I guess they didn't notice until after the fact. Or did he just be like, oh, hey, by the way, who noticed it eventually? And how was it not noticeable in draft? Yeah, I don't know. I think you have to in some way penalize both the commissioner and the manager for this happening. I know how you would. well that's the question is like how do you punish them so it's the first time on all my
Starting point is 00:45:57 fantasy cops Jamie I like redrafting from from round nine what do you think how long ago was the draft two nights ago well it's 16 rounds so you gotta do two nights ago you said three nights or Tuesday night okay then I'm okay with that if it wasn't that I guess if everybody's okay with that that's fine but if they're not okay with that
Starting point is 00:46:14 and you're just keeping it as it is you just give them some sort of penalty next year so I'm sorry every keeper is round or later? No, no, it's just that no. It's that this guy was supposed to have,
Starting point is 00:46:30 okay, after he realized that one player's keeper was not set to a specific round. So, okay, so he set the guy's keeper to like the 16th round, but he was supposed to have set it to the 9th.
Starting point is 00:46:41 Okay, so if you do not want to redrop, what I would suggest is that whatever player he decides to keep next year should have some sort of penalty attached to it. So whether it's, Let's say it's a round nine keeper again.
Starting point is 00:46:52 Now that player is round seven. Okay. All right. Good stuff. And maybe the commissioner loses the round. Punish the commission. I love it. From Michael.
Starting point is 00:47:04 I'm in an 18 team guillotine league that has allowed trading with fab and players in the past. A $1,000 fab budget. Okay. After the draft, I publicly worked a trade with the Jamar Chase manager. Jamar Chase and James Cook for Matthew Golden and $950 of Fab. Remember, the budget is $1,000,
Starting point is 00:47:28 and it's a guillotine league. So the Chase manager would give up Chase and Cook, and he would get Golden and $950 of Fab. Interesting. The commissioner vetoed it. He was scared. No, no, that's a really creative, interesting trade that should never get vetoed.
Starting point is 00:47:44 Okay. Just why are we penalizing people for getting creative? Is that the question? Is that the question? Should it be vetoed? Yes. No. Yeah, that's, Dan's right.
Starting point is 00:47:54 Like, this, I'll say this. This is going to sound crazy. The $9.50 is more valuable than Jamar Chase. I kind of agree with that. I was going to say the same thing. All he's to do is get through week one, and he's just rolling in it from that point out. To have $1,450 for the rest of the season is so much more valuable than anything else in that way.
Starting point is 00:48:13 I agree. Maybe for the other, for the other reason, maybe the guy gave up too much. Maybe. Maybe, including golden. and I think a $9.50 straight up for those two is maybe even too much. That's, that's, so I just started a startup guillotine. Are we trading in that? Are trades allowed in that?
Starting point is 00:48:30 No. Yeah, I don't think they usually aren't in guillotine. I don't think you should have trading in guillotine because of how the way Royers. And I'm so pissed off at Adam that he didn't want to do it. Yeah, why didn't you do this league with us, Adam? You know, I'm in three extra leagues. I'm up to close to 14. I'm in a lot of extra leagues too, but I just figured this one would be fun to do different
Starting point is 00:48:48 and it gives us some podcast fodder for the mail. bags if one if two of us make a run or something if two of the three if you were in it but i guess not i'm sorry i'm sorry it's okay i don't know if this drafts ever going to finish by the start of the season jamie i'm going to i'm going to change the o'clock after today i want to see how the first couple days ago um i got i do know the real reason why adams on it because he suddenly hates nando and nando's in the league with us oh i didn't know that i don't know that i want to speak you up no i want to see an anando beef that i don't know about no there's no there's no beef i he's none is one of my best friends all right we only have like six minutes left so um
Starting point is 00:49:20 They can hold the auction for us. We're fine. Apple podcast questions here. 10-team half-P-R from, this one's from Tom. Should I drop a bench player or my current tight-end for Dalton Kincaid?
Starting point is 00:49:33 He's the best available tight-end on waivers. My current tight-end is Loveland. My other players to drop would be Kroski Merritt, Jordan Addison, or Caleb Johnson. I would just go one tight end, yeah, in that scenario.
Starting point is 00:49:46 And I think I'm fine either way. I think Loveland will get off to a hotter start than most do but kinkade's more than more likely to get off to a better start if you're looking at it like that okay this is from shaggy 10 team two qb league girl you're my angel oh no da babadabababababababab da better uh blah blah blah dava uh you want to my year was shaggy the one doing psych isn't on the counter which no no shaggy was the other one the other one okay Yeah. Not bad.
Starting point is 00:50:23 Is that better or worse than my Eddie Vedder? Worse. Worse? I think they're both awful. Yeah, sure. No, the Vedder was better than you think. Jamie, did you hear me? I've gotten compliments on that better impression.
Starting point is 00:50:35 Jamie, did you hear me sing for Chad Smith? Not yet, no. That was rough. Who's not rough? I'm not kidding. It was good. It was good. That interview was really entertaining.
Starting point is 00:50:47 I suggest a lot of people are probably just into us for the fantasy. season. I get it, but go back and watch that interview. I thought it was very entertaining. Thank you. What is the question here? I don't know. We're off the rails now. This is a very long one. All right, I'm in a 10-team 2-QB league where the past three seasons, only three or four
Starting point is 00:51:04 quarterbacks have gone off the board in the first two rounds. Last year, I addressed it to the draft style, whereas one manager finally drafted like a typical 2QB league, taking Allen and Hertz in the first two rounds. He finished seven and six, one win short of the 14 playoffs. How would you draft in a league like this.
Starting point is 00:51:21 Ten team, two quarterbacks. Every year, I've taken an elite quarterback and a top skill position player with my first two picks and I finish top four each year. I'm sorry to say it. I feel like you're answering the question for us. I feel like you're doing it the right way.
Starting point is 00:51:35 I don't know, though. The fact that the guy who drafted two elite quarterbacks and they actually ended up both being elite didn't win the league, leads me to believe that maybe we all are off when it comes to Superflex two quarterback type formats. Because how do you not win the league with those two? I wouldn't say, I would never take.
Starting point is 00:51:53 He did, though. But they did hit those two. He took Allen and Hertz, but I would never take two elite quarterbacks. I mean, if I could get Alan, I felt, you know, you never had this opportunity in Superflex or 2QB, so you never would consider it. But those guys did play out as the two, as two of the elite guys. And we know from last year, the elite scores, there was a big drop-off between them and the next quarterbacks. I don't know how that team didn't win. I think the problem, though, is like, A, you got to land those two quarterbacks.
Starting point is 00:52:19 And, you know, at least the last two seasons, a guy that has been top three on draft day is Mahomes, who hasn't been in the league quarterback. This show turning into a damn a cappella group, according to Andrew. Yeah, Donnie Airport had the best comment. Oh, I missed it. Let's see.
Starting point is 00:52:37 Adam and Dan won't be my first picks for karaoke partner. What would we do if we were going to do? You know what we should do? You know the song, 500 miles? And I would walk. Fuck five. Yeah, we can do that, like a duet. And then you go.
Starting point is 00:52:57 Exactly. That's a great song. Okay, this is from Bill. Please let me know what you think about these players in non-PPR every once in a while. I'm not drafting Camara or Garrett Wilson. Yeah, I love that. I don't want them in PPR either. Yeah, I know you're right.
Starting point is 00:53:17 Those are two guys that really jump up. out as being worse than non-PPR significantly this is from jerome why is dave and others so low on the bears and their offensive line but yet so high on the jags and their offensive line isn't good at all i think for day i can't speak for dave but i know dave was at the joint practices with the bears and that's shaping his opinion on the on the team he didn't and that's something i heard you know we saw terran arm said former miami dolphins left tackle talk about those joint practices and be like look when teams are actually scheming to stop caleb and ben they're getting there because they're confusing him with post-nap safety rotations and blitzes.
Starting point is 00:53:52 That's the type of stuff you see in the regular season. The preseason, you never see that. You see vanilla defense. So it could be an ugly start for the Bears' offense. All right. This is from, let's see. It's always interesting when you get coaches coming from perfect situations like Ben Johnson, and the Lions.
Starting point is 00:54:10 And how do they adjust? The best center and the best right tackle in the NFL last year. He won't have that this year. All right. Rate my team. Yeah, true. A six-team PPR League. It's an A plus-plus, next.
Starting point is 00:54:24 Mahomes, Gibbs, McCaffrey, McConkey, Brian Thomas, Jr., Garrett Wilson, and my flex is Pishon Robinson. So, yeah, that's funny. I guess what, I don't know. That's good, yeah, you win. The 16 team, he doesn't, though. It's a 16-team league.
Starting point is 00:54:44 All these teams are stacked, who knows? Yeah, I don't know. I'm never right, right. This is the last one I'll read here. is oh this one says best episode ever from brian pineapple jamy as host is goaded only wish he could have dan as co-host every show this is a shocking read from you adam i think you're honestly doing this mostly to dissuade people who have accused you rightfully so of only reading questions that put you in a good light rightfully so what do you how can you say rightfully so in there like why would you
Starting point is 00:55:15 Because the questions speak for themselves, the history with the show, we know it. Jamie knows it. I know it. We all know it. Adam is the best host we have and we'll ever have. I host differently than Adam does. And so there are people that prefer very small minority, me hosting the Adam. Adam is the best show.
Starting point is 00:55:35 I don't know if it's a minority at all. Straight up. Yeah. Well, I don't know if that's true either. It is. I prefer when Adam hosts the show. Very talented people. Oh, I prefer when Jamie hosts, if I'm on as an analyst.
Starting point is 00:55:48 I love being the, like, oh, it's so much easier to be the analyst. Yeah, you never get to play that. We should do a couple of those this season where Jamie or Dave is the host and you're on analyst role. Oh, I mean, you think that's the easier role. So much easier. It's not even close. It's not the on-air stuff.
Starting point is 00:56:03 It's the pre-planning stuff. It's the pre-planning stuff. For me, it's both. Like, if I do a CBS, I've done CBS Sports Network shows where I've hosted and I've done where I think you've hosted, right? And I've been the analyst or whatever. and it's almost like it feels like a job when I'm hosting and it feels like I'm making a guest appearance
Starting point is 00:56:22 like for fun when I'm not hosting. Yes. Yeah. It's an interesting way to look at it. And what did say? Someone said, Adam sucks. I prefer you three between us. I don't know who you're talking to.
Starting point is 00:56:37 Yeah, you too, baby? Oh, this one. Adam has gotten somewhat better. Thank you. I do appreciate that. It's a back-handed compliment. Yeah. Oh, new Adam is great.
Starting point is 00:56:48 Unreal. That's great. Adam is a great host, terrible cook. I actually made some very nice chicken strips last night. They were very good. What is that? What are chicken strips? What are those?
Starting point is 00:57:01 It was like chicken cutlets. It was like chicken fingers. It was like homemade chicken fingers? Yeah. Okay, so what did you do with it? You got some raw chicken, you dip it an egg. Okay. And you got bread crumbs with salt, pepper, garlic powder.
Starting point is 00:57:14 To me chicken cutlets is what you're saying? Yeah, but they were like, yes, garlic powder, onion powder, and some grated cheese in there. And then put them in the air fryer, but you've got to do the spray olive oil on both sides, spray olive oil. Okay. I mean, yeah, I guess it's kind of chicken fingers. We're supposed to be done by now, but I guess to hold up the auction starting. The auction? Okay, here's a question.
Starting point is 00:57:37 I was looking for questions. It suspended. Ten team PPR. I have Charbonnet and Mason. Would you drop one of them for Ali Gordon or Dylan, or Dylan, Samson. Who are you driving in, Chuck? Charbonnet and or Mason.
Starting point is 00:57:50 No. Yeah, no. I couldn't either. From Thomas. Barclay and Pickens or Gentie and McLaurin? Barclay and Pickens. Genty and McLauron. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:05 No, I'm going Barkley and Pickens for sure. Okay. I have both those. I have Pickens ranked ahead of Scary, Terry. Same. I'm really not getting a lot of yeah okay there's chicken strips okay fine it's their chicken nuggets their chicken cutlets whatever you want to call them uh that's it's i'm really not seeing any questions has dan ever been to a grateful dead show yeah just dead and co i'm too young for the real deal
Starting point is 00:58:32 unfortunately i would have loved to take a time machine back there was a concert i could take a time machine back to it was grateful dead and almond brothers at the same show i think it was somewhere in new york my god I can't think of a better show than that. I'm going to see Sam Fender in three weeks fired up for that. What am I missing? Nice. Where? You should come. No joke. Friday night, Terminal 5.
Starting point is 00:58:54 Oh, I love Terminal 5. Oh, no, no, no. I was thinking of a different place. I like Pier 17. Terminal 5 is not my favorite venue, but what, but when is it? September 19th, Friday night. I have a Volpec show at MSG that might be that. And then I have Joe Russo almost dead, J-Rad, like somewhere.
Starting point is 00:59:11 in the September range. So as long as it's not that, I will consider it. As long as it's not that night, I will consider it. Okay. What am I missing with Luther Burden? If we're so in love with four bears catchers, shouldn't Caleb Williams be a top 10 quarterback? They are not all going to.
Starting point is 00:59:24 The draft just start? They are not. If the draft started, then I'm out. So somebody could take somebody's coming. The drafts just started. All right. You guys can go. I'll just read a few questions.
Starting point is 00:59:34 It's a practice nomination. It's a practice round. It's a practice round. It's a practice. Crazy. They're not all going to. a hit. And that's the problem is that you're not going to get Loveland and Moore and O'Donzee and Caleb William. They also like Sekeas. Let's put that out there because it's true and he's looked
Starting point is 00:59:50 good. And Zekees. Yes. There's not going to be all of them playing at a high level. So just be prepared that unless Caleb Williams is generational and all these guys can eat, it's going to be a letdown for somebody. But that's kind of where they're going in drafts. You know, they're not all going in the same range. This is from Jared. Should I trade Bejohn Robinson for Chase Brown and a high-end wide receiver in a 10-team league? I would, yeah. If you're getting Chase Brown and Brian Thomas Jr. Okay.
Starting point is 01:00:20 Yeah, there we go. What are your thoughts on Mason Taylor? Great sleeper. Not for this year. Two toppings only on pizza. This is where things get interesting. My favorite topping on a pizza, very controversial, bacon. It's not that controversial.
Starting point is 01:00:34 It's terrific. Nobody orders it. Nobody orders that. Chicken bacon ranch is a very popular slice. My second favorite would be buffalo chicken. I would go with two toppings only. I would go with ham and pineapple or a complete opposite direction, grilled chicken and mushrooms. That's good.
Starting point is 01:00:50 I've never tried bacon and buffalo chicken. I bet that would be amazing on the same pie. All right. We are going to go here. It's time. Time to do the auction. Real quick. So what do we learn?
Starting point is 01:01:01 H.N. and Terry. H.N. and Terry. H.N. and Terry. He put them on a sandwich. Sorry. Adam thinks Carson Beck's going to be the number one overall package.
Starting point is 01:01:08 Could be the number one overall pick. Could be. A. Chan and Tyree Kill update. Tyree Kill's going to play week one. We don't know about A. Chan yet. I wouldn't be surprised at me since. Thanks so much for watching listening, everybody. Enjoy your labor day.
Starting point is 01:01:23 Thank you. Talk to you Monday. Go play some golf this weekend.
