Dalvin Cook, I think we're still waiting to find out, but I would guess he's playing at this point.

The fact that he was at practice on Friday. Christian McCaffrey, no. He's doubtful according to Matt Rule. So welcome back. One more week. Chuba Hubbard. Dan, Antonio Gibson has a stress fracture in his shin, but he could play through it.

Do you think you could play through a stress fracture in your shin? No, of course not. I don't think I could play anything. I don't think I could play what? I don't know. What am I playing? You don't play like softball or anything like that? No, I used to play some rec sports, pick up basketball, things of that nature.

But, you know, times are tough. Times are tough. Yeah, I can't get out there on the court these days. Not during football season. What are we supposed to do with this Antonio Gibson information? Not much. I go back to the fantasy football today show we had on Friday with our like them, Don't Love Him segment.

If you have better options, you can sit him. If you don't, you just have to hope that he finds the end zone. Look, he scored in two straight games. But this is frustrating. And certainly if J.D. McKissick's available, maybe Jared Patterson, you want to go pick those guys up. Okay. I like that idea.

Chase Edmonds is a game-time decision. So it's late game, unfortunately. But if he doesn't play, James Conner would be a top-what running back? 20. Yeah, that's fair in this matchup. I would even elevate Rondell Moore to a potential flex play if Edmonds doesn't play. They're still going to want to use that role in that quick passing game

and somebody who can do stuff like Edmonds can do in the passing game. If we found out that Edmonds doesn't play, they're still going to want to use that role in that quick passing game and somebody who can do something like that, stuff like Edmonds can do in the passing game. If we found out that Edmonds were out, would you start Chuba Hubbard against the Eagles or Conner against the Niners? Conner for sure for me. How about Damian Williams or Conner in this scenario? Conner. Conner.

All right. I mean, you're talking about a guy that's already getting what, 15 carries a week? He's already in the Kenyon Drake role. That's touched on almost every week. How about TJ Hawkinson, questionable to play? Supposed to play, though, from what I read. Okay.

T. Higgins is going to play. Joe Mixon is going to practice on Saturday and see how he feels. Teddy Bridgewater is expected to play. That's cool. And Devontae Parker could be a game-time decision. Jamie, if Devontae Parker does not play at Tampa Bay, what does that mean for Waddle and Gusecki? It means that they're still a very good place.

Even if Parker plays, they're still very good options. So Waddle is probably looking at, I would be shocked if it's less than 10 targets. So we've already seen him with a 13-target game, so it could be 15 targets this week just based on how things go. And same thing for gaseki you know it's uh maybe preston williams too if you're desperate just based on how bad the secondary is for for tampa bay so uh but from what i saw friday brian flores said that they're going to take it

up to game time take it up to sunday with uh with parker's shoulder i'm sorry parker's hamstring and then um i think it was Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald said that he was moving around well in practice. So, you know, it could be one of those things where they're just going to test out his pain threshold and how healthy he is over the weekend, but my guess is he's going to play. Great. All right. We'll have Devontae Parker

for that game at the Bucs. Hopefully, hopefully. Fingers crossed. Well, actually, it'd be kind of better for Fantasy if he didn't, but hopefully for him he can play. That's what we really care about. but what is important is that Russell Wilson is his quarterback. He wants to know who to pick up for next week and probably later. Man, it's good to be in

a 10 team league where jalen hertz is available so that's the answer but also burrow daniel jones and justin fields so if you weren't in a league where jalen hertz were available and you couldn't pick up i don't know kyler murray would you go go with Burrow, Daniel Jones, or Fields? Burrow. Rest of season, Burrow, yeah. And even next week, you can't go somebody like Jones against the Rams. That would be my next option. I'm going to go check.

I'm in a 10-team league where I have Russell Wilson as my only quarterback. Let me see who's available. Okay. I'm in a 12-team league where I have Russell Wilson as my only quarterback. How about a 2QB league where I have Russell Wilson as a quarterback? Not your only quarterback, though, right? That's not that's not gonna be good no my quarterbacks are russell wilson teddy bridgewater and trevor warrens and i think i'm playing dan this week so i think i'm gonna lose nice uh all right the quarterbacks available in this league are 10 teams 10 teams

So again, it's Allen and Cook for Hurts and Pitts. It's not that you're just rolling the dice on Pitts blowing up rest of season. You're rolling the dice on Hurts being

able to keep pace with Josh Allen. But I think just knowing that that's potentially there, given that Allen has taken a slight step back so far this season, I still think there's a huge year in front of him. And that Hurts, you know what you're getting. I don't mind taking the gamble on that

because I don't think Cook is going to be as good as Pitts by the end of the year. Interesting. No, I don't think so either. They're not really using Allen as much as a red zone runner anymore, by the way, which is something I've had my eye on all season. I'm not sure that's coming back.

Kyle Pitts is going to get going. They may not be the same player in some of the veteran guys. They may not live up to the same expectations that we had for them, or you may have had for them going into the season, but there's going to be a stretch of games where they're going to still be very, very good. And so do you want to get in now before those stretch of games happens? And maybe, you know, Robert Woods that's taking place now after last night, but, or excuse me, after Thursday night. Um, so buying lawn pits is a, is a great move to make.

And so you're, you're selling Jared cook high for whatever that's buying law and pits is a great move to make. And so you're selling Jared Cook high for whatever that's worth because he had a great game last week. And you're still getting good quarterback play in return. All right. This is from Eric.

I think if, well, first off, do you feel comfortable making this trade to acquire Lockett knowing what Russell Wilson may or may not be? Right. So if you're okay with basically saying you're giving up Barkley and Deontay Johnson with, I don't, I don't want to, you know, disrespect what Kenny Galladay or Marvin Jones may or may not be or continue to be.

But those two guys essentially for, to get back Devante Adams and Daryl Henderson, I think that's a trade worth making. Oh, you would do this straight. You would get the Adams lock at Henderson side. Well, I mean, look,

if Henderson, if Henderson is this rest of season, there's not that big of a drop off from Barkley. It's a drop off, but not that big of a drop off. But Adams gives you maybe the best player in this deal. You'd be my number one player. And lock it by himself might be better than Galladay and Marvin Jones

it's not bad to see what Kareem Hunt... Oh, that's what it is. He wants to lock up the Browns backfield because it's an eight team league and he has Chubb. So no, I'm not. No, I don't,

I don't believe in the lockup, the backfield, but in an eight team league, if you're not playing the guy, then I, here's the thing though. We always do this, right?

We always say, Oh, this guy can become this. If the guy in front of him gets hurt, what would Nick Chubb be? If cream Hunter forgot her. Well, yeah, but he'd have both of them. But he doesn't need both of them.

All right, here we go. I said that like six times today. Here we go. From Andy. A trade between the commissioner and former commissioner, who is a perennial contender, got canceled by the commissioner. The trade was commissioner gets Nick Chubb and Emmanuel Sanders, and former commissioner gets Jonathan Taylor and Calvin Ridley.

Chubb and Emmanuel Sanders for Taylor and Ridley. The news came out a few hours later of Ridley not traveling to play in London. The commissioner then decided to cancel the trade without any input from the league. He claims because it would put the manager getting Ridley at a disadvantage this week. And my argument was there is more to play after this week. What should be done? He was not getting Ridley.

He gave away Ridley, but he still canceled the trade after the news came out. What do you think? Did the person acquiring Ridley want to cancel the deal? Right. I don't know. If they both agree to it. No, I'm vehemently against it.

Vehement. You're against it, even if both managers agree to cancel it? What is the difference of I just traded for someone, and he got hurt, and he's out for the week? You don't cancel a trade. So there's one scenario where it's like, oh, I didn't know. I had no idea, and I accepted the trade for an injured player.

Then I'd be like, okay, we'll overturn it. But once you make a trade for someone, that's just the way the cookie crumbles. I'm sorry. You know, I would not overturn this trade. I would keep it. That's fair. I think I tend to agree with you.

Yeah, I agree. I think, you know, there's obviously, you know, like if the guy said, oh, hey, I didn't know this, that this was a potential of him missing the game because now you don't have him for two weeks because their buy is next week. Like I could see if the guy had a legitimate beef, but if you're sending him away. Yeah, I would. I guess you're trying to do the right thing by giving the guy the out,

but still, like you both agreed to it. You should be stuck with him, unfortunately. Yeah. All right. This is from Sasquatch. He says, Dear Bluto, D-Day, Otter, and Boone. Jamie, what do you think? You got that one?

but it is a classic. Go watch Animal House. Revenge of the Nerds. Revenge of the Nerds, they commit 10 major felonies in that movie. All right, so 16-man roster, NIR spot, 12 teams. Fab League.

Highest bidding team adds three free agents on Wednesday night while dropping only two players from his roster. The 17th player was Alex Collins. Due to having the extra player, he was forced to drop Collins Thursday afternoon, and CBS had Collins again listed as a free agent. And then it came out that Chris Carson was out.

So Collins was put back on the team's roster and traded away in a two for one trade minutes before the Seahawks Rams game. No other teams had a chance to offer trades. Should this be allowed? So the league settings allowed for free agents that are dropped to be picked up immediately? I guess so. Yeah. So that's the first flaw. No, no, no. I don't think they treated him as if he were dropped.

I think they treated him as if he had never been picked up in the first place. Oh, so they put him back in the player pool without putting him through waivers. That's my guess, yeah. And then the same team was able to pick him up? I guess so. No, it said Collins was put back

on the team's roster. I don't understand that aspect of it. I guess. So what it sounds like is they automatically drop the last player picked up if somebody picks up too many players. This is the problem when you have IR spots

is that you're allowed to pick up more players than your roster, your active roster, your active bench holds, because it automatically will put players in IR spots. One thing I will encourage, we have this feature on CBS, which I'm going to do in all my leagues, Adam. I would encourage you to do it in the podcast league to avoid some future headaches. Now that we're past pup lists.

I already did it. I already did this. You already did it? Yeah. We'll let him tell the advice anyway for the rest that's okay everybody knows no yeah go ahead go ahead uh so we have a feature on cbs where you can um make it where only ir eligible players are placed on ir so they have to say ir next to their name um otherwise you can't stash anybody there and so that will eliminate some of these headaches will eliminate some of these roster transactions from happening. I don't like the fact that he has to drop Alex Collins because what if he just happened to put him last by coincidence? Yeah, he should be able to pick the player he wants to drop.

I don't think there should have been a two-for-one trade involved here. Why? Who cares what the trade is? Because he had an illegal roster. He had an extra player and then he was able to make a two-for-one trade. But again,

as long as he's dropping them before Sunday, who cares? Because he has to drop them before Thursday. Not necessarily if his league allows him to make sure his lineup is locked by Sunday.

No, because the league specifically, obviously he had to drop someone when he picked up a 17th player, right? So he dropped someone and then I guess he got him back,

had an illegal roster, made a two-for-one trade with an illegal roster. I mean, it's easier to make a two-for-one trade when you have an extra player. So personally, I think Collins should just be back in the free agent. No, but he could still make a two-for-one trade and then just still drop somebody else. But he didn't. If he cleaned up his roster after the Alex Collins move, picked up Collins, dropped somebody else,

who weren't producing. Just this week, the commissioner picked up A.J. Brown and Deontay Johnson from waivers. The players who dropped these guys desperately needed a running back. The commissioner said it's not an advantage because he has to drop two players in order to activate Julio Jones and Landry. He's going to drop P. Ryan and Michelle next week, I'm sure of it. Should the commissioner give us an extra bench spot and return the players to their managers,

or do we have to suck it up and blame the managers who dropped them? So they wanted the sixth spot. Everybody voted for it. The commissioner never put it through, and now they're all pissed because they had to drop good players. This always goes to the back of the big debate. Like, can you change any rules in season? Some people are like, no, no matter what, we agreed on these.

That's it. But it seems like in this case, nobody knew what they were jamie take over for me all right i'll be right back um it sounds like they agreed to it beforehand like you said dan but nobody put it into motion so i think just as a result you have to go with what the rules are now based on the commissioner being a crappy commissioner unfortunately i did yes i. because the matchup is great. And look, myself included, we're all excited about LaVisca Chenault because he had the seven targets, the six catches last week. Jones is going to benefit maybe more so without Chark in there than Chenault does because at least you know those downfield targets are definitely in place, and this is a great matchup. So it'd be between those two for me. Waddle's in a great spot also,

And I let Start sit with that this week of, if you're 0-4, 1-3, whatever you were coming in this week, stop worrying about the names and where you drafted those guys. Play the best players. And in this case, Marquise Brown is awesome.

but probably not better than Logan Thomas. So I only need a player for a few weeks. And since Knox has a bye coming in week seven, I opted for Goddard. So you're taking a gamble either way, but I think you're basically giving up Ridley because Patrick's a throw-in. You're giving up Ridley for three potential starters. I would take a chance on that.
