Can you believe this? No, I can't. It's time to dominate your fantasy league. Off to the races, and he stays on his feet.
Starting point is 00:01:41 It's just going to go the distance. Now here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie, and Heath. It's mailbag time. What's up, Vibratay? Welcome to this show. Fantasy football today, presented by FedMGM. Make it legendary. Today's show is going to be legendary.
Starting point is 00:02:00 We've got big news updates for you. We've got your YouTube comments. Emails at Fantasy Football at CBSI.com. That's the letter I. Fantasy football at CBSI.com. We've got, you got to figure pretty happy Dan right now. I mean, look at this comment in the chat from Cold Cuts. Oh, wait, he loves cold cuts.
Starting point is 00:02:16 The comment is DART is legit. Really legit. Yeah, I guess so. We're going to make that claim after three games. We're there. We're in. Jamie's here as well. We got your Apple podcast questions.
Starting point is 00:02:27 We got the fantasy cops. Happy Friday, Dan Schneier. You sound sick. Yeah, I finally pulled an azer and got sick. This is like a three, four day thing. It's kind of weird. I'm not getting over it anytime soon. It seems like I thought it would be over with.
Starting point is 00:02:44 Tested for COVID whatnot. Don't have anything. So I don't know what it is. I think it's just a change in the weather. But I did say, I will say this, Adam. It's just going back last night, you know, long night, Giant Swan. I was going through sports history.
Starting point is 00:02:56 and I came across a game I was thinking about. And I was thinking about the 2003 Fiesta Bowl. And I was thinking about the Fiesta Bowl from 2003. And I think I decided going back watching some. I'm not really interested in the rest of that sentence. All right, Jamie, that is an automatic mute once we start talking about the Fiesta Bowl. Let's get through the news and notes here. And Chris Godwin.
Starting point is 00:03:19 Okay, Chris Godwin, he's got a fibula injury. He's not playing this week, and he is now week to week with a fibula injury. So not... No, you got to let that go through. What? You got to let the take go through. And the take is the single most overblown narrative in sports history to come out of that game
Starting point is 00:03:37 was that the Buckeyes needed a pass interference call to win that game. Honestly, I think about that game. Oh, you know, you know the terms. You know the terms. I may have had a source. I may have had a source. I didn't realize that's where he was going.
Starting point is 00:03:52 Come on. Jamie told you? I didn't tell anyone. I'm not going to reveal anything who told me or anything. I didn't say a word. I did not say a word. Whoever told, it was obviously, Dave. Whoever told you that completely ruined the bit.
Starting point is 00:04:04 Dave has this thing. When he does this with the game of the week, I hope you're watching, Dave. You ruined the bit. He tries to tell me how to do Game of the Week to him because he thinks he's better than I am at it. He should not have told you. It's been so funny because I am obligated to agree with all of your takes
Starting point is 00:04:21 no matter what until you notice it, until you figure it out. Oh, okay. terms of the bet. Dave told you to do some horrible take at the top of the show, so I would agree with it. That, you know, I'm so, oh, God, Dave. I'm legit mad. I, but anyway, Chris Godwin. You didn't realize that's where he was going? Why else would I ever bring up the 2003 V. He has to pull? I figured out eventually. Christian Watson's out this week. Alec Pierce looks like he's going to play. Let's see, what else? Lamar Jackson is not going to play this week. Looks like probably still not going to have
Starting point is 00:04:56 Proquan Smith. Maybe Kyle Hamilton will be back though. Jermaine Johnson for the Jets is going to play. Sorry, I'm scrolling through my phone here. Christian Gonzalez is practicing for the Patriots, so that is a good news situation there. And oh, Alim McNeil might play for the Lions.
Starting point is 00:05:15 He is a great run defender, great defensive tackle. There goes Isaiah to check him. I know, right? Yeah, and yes, that is a two on Dan We're running out of magnets fast, boys and girls. I am at a dire situation here, struggling to put together two and four on that fridge. All right, we got big news here.
Starting point is 00:05:35 Kyla Murray is practicing today. Good. Cross our fingers and hope that he is ready to go. All right. Sunday, 8.30 a.m., the 9.30 a.m., noon to one. YouTube.com slash fantasy football today. We just answer your questions for, you know, about 55 minutes or so. It's a lot of fun.
Starting point is 00:05:52 YouTube.com slash fantasy football today. and we're actually going to start with some YouTube comments right now. So if you have any questions, I know we usually do these at last, but we'll do them early and we'll do them wait. T. Higgins or Kiann Coleman? T. Higgins. Yeah, Higgins, but I don't feel confident about that. I see nothing wrong with what Dave did.
Starting point is 00:06:17 In capital letters with four exclamation points, I see everything wrong with what Dave did. He ruined what would have been a very funny bit. Legit mad at Dave. Legit hate Dave right now. Hate is a strong word to ever use for Dave Richard. Dave should get a two-game suspension. I was offered Drake London for Cam Scataboo.
Starting point is 00:06:35 He's got Giovante, Kyron, Breece Hall, Travian, Henderson, and Scataboo. And he's got good receivers, too. Would you rather have rest of season Scatibu or London? Given this roster, I'd rather have Scatabu. Given this roster, this is an insane roster, first. of all. Javante Kiren Hall, I probably feel good with that running back. So
Starting point is 00:06:59 I might actually rather London. He's got J.S.N. Chase, Rice, and McMillan. There's no real need either way. And so running back, depth, what it is. I'd rather have the running backs. What is this? A 14 league? Michael Carter, D'Andre Swift, or Trayvion
Starting point is 00:07:15 Henderson, pick one and half PPR. Swift. Yeah, it has to be swift of those three. Ertz or Najoku Nijoku Njoku Yeah I'll go Ert
Starting point is 00:07:28 I don't think it has to be Swift by the way I think it has to be Swift I knew you were going to say Carter instead of Swift but I mean I would start Swift But that doesn't have to be From the matchup or the matchup Yeah the matchup's much worse for Swift Who's going to have more?
Starting point is 00:07:42 Yeah Washington's got a great much worse for Swift I don't think it's much worse at all yeah About yards per carry I mean for what that's worth The Colts are allowing like almost a full yard or maybe 8.8 yards per carry more than the commanders. That's a huge difference.
Starting point is 00:07:55 That's because they face the Titans. It's not just that. I just think he's going to get going in the past game, Swift, in that matchup. It was a joke. Okay. Well, you said it, I couldn't really process it, so I just dismissed it. Higgins are born. I was trying to think of the worst team that they played.
Starting point is 00:08:13 I will take Bourne if Jennings is out. I will take Higgins if Jennings isn't. Born for me regardless. Krosky Merit or PPR? Half PPR. Merit for me. Half PPR. I'm all in on merit.
Starting point is 00:08:31 Krosky Merit badge? What? Krosky Merit badge. What's that? Krosky Stills Nation Young? I barely, I've heard of that maybe a few times in my life and I have no idea what that is. Is that a man? Merit badge?
Starting point is 00:08:48 You don't know what Krosky Stills National. is it a band i don't know tv show i don't know you're like a classic rock fan what are you talking about yeah i don't know i probably heard their songs i'm not that big i like my bands i like my bands like oh i'm sure i've heard their songs what are their big songs what are their big songs
Starting point is 00:09:08 what are their big songs i'm sure i've heard their songs remember we did this already once with the stone temple pilots and you're like i never heard of them but then i'd heard all of their songs your children well you know tea i had heard all What was that one? Teach your children well. What's that? And the song that I said to Jamie and Heath like a few weeks ago,
Starting point is 00:09:28 Sweet Judy Blue Eyes is one that goes, do do do do do do do do do. Yeah, okay. So I've heard these all. I've heard them. I know the songs. Sometimes I just don't know the bands, but I know the songs.
Starting point is 00:09:39 But okay, last week you said that the Beatles weren't that good because of like they don't have solos like the Rolling Stones. I didn't say it was only based on the solos. Their drumming is not their. grade either. Okay. It's not. They just don't have great. They're not great instrumental players compared to some of the best. I said versus the best of all time. I'm comparing them. What? They're probably better. You just don't even know it. No, they're not. They're not better than
Starting point is 00:10:03 the Allman Brothers. I know that for sure. I'm playing in. That's a lot. But all right. Okay. Anyway, there's an insane, insane moment right there. I've heard the music. I just didn't know the name of the band. Is Sterling Shepard worth grabbing and starting this week? No. Grabbing, yes, starting, depending on what your situation is. He's in that low-end, wide receiver three conversation. Does Dan know who Elvis is? I do know who Elvis is. I don't, I'm not convinced.
Starting point is 00:10:34 And the heard his music. I don't know. No, just kidding. Last one for now. Franklin, Golden, Coleman, Bowman, Bourne, pick two. Born and Franklin. I'm assuming it's full PPR. I'll go born.
Starting point is 00:10:49 I'll give Golden one more chance, Born and Golden. Now, does Sterling Shepard enter this conversation with Franklin, Golden, Coleman, and Born? He's behind. I take him head of Coleman. He's behind the other three. Oh, my gosh. Dan doesn't know who Elvis is. He sure has heard his music, though.
Starting point is 00:11:12 I never said I've heard my, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. No, I know who Elvis is. I mean, I know some stuff. That was the guy who used to eat the peanut butter and bacon sandwiches. By the way, I've never tried, but I would. I just love that. We're 10 minutes into the show. Dave is ruined Adams bit, and Dan doesn't know who Crosby stills in ashes.
Starting point is 00:11:31 But I do. I've heard their music. I just don't know names. Yeah, that's just amazing. They're one of the most famous bands ever. Okay. Well, there's a lot of movies and stuff I don't know. There we go.
Starting point is 00:11:46 Damn it. Making it legendary over here. Hey, listen. Oh, no, I'm sorry. Football at BetMGM. Register with Betmgm. Get instant access to the best variety of parlay selection features. No sweat and boost tokens, live betting options, and much more.

You don't want to miss out on any of the hard-hitting action at BetMGM. Place your money line. Parlay Betts and more today. Bet MGM make it legendary. All right, let's start with the emails here.
Starting point is 00:12:24 Fantasy Football at CBSI.com. Also reminding you, oh, I forgot to do Spotify. So beginning next week, we'll start reading your Spotify comments. So if you want to leave some comments on our show there, please do you. Can you me a favor and show me how to find those? Because I want to read those for Beyond the Box Score during the week, and I don't know how to find them. Yeah, I, yes, I will show you a little bit. Yeah, you know, okay.
Starting point is 00:12:47 Thank you. And, oh, what else is I got? Oh, then I'll ask you later, Dan. Remind me about Spotify later. Okay. Okay. So emails, fantasy football at CBSI.com, leave a Spotify comment, leave an Apple podcast comment. If you're going to leave an Apple podcast comment, it's got to be no Thursday games,
Starting point is 00:13:04 and try to get it in by Wednesday at the latest because it does take time to show up. Okay, from Matthew, pick one in full PPR, Chase Brown, T. Higgins, Trayvion Henderson. Chase Brown. I'll go Higgins. Higgins, yeah, I can't play Chase Brown right now. Maybe I'll go Chase Brown. He may have as many catches as these two combined. With the Flacco boost, I just,
Starting point is 00:13:34 Flacco's starting already. I don't understand how that's going to work. It's going to have to be such a simplified game planned. All right, this is from Garrett. So he has Dak Prescott. Should he drop Bo Nix or Caleb Williams? for Michael Carter in a half-P-R league. And the only reason I'm really asking this is I want to know who you like better rest of season, Caleb Williams or Bo Nix?
Starting point is 00:13:58 Well, he has Dak. That's obviously the biggest part of this. So assuming that this is probably a 10-teen league if Michael Carter's still on waivers, I'm going to drop Bo Nix because Caleb's already passed his bi-week. And so you just roll with Dak and Caleb. But also, let me rephrase it. Check to see who Dack, who each is playing on Dax by week and make that decision for you. You could go matchup by matchup too for the rest of season if you want to,
Starting point is 00:14:25 but there's really no matchup where you're going to bench Dack Prescott. So I would rather keep the higher upside guy and Caleb. No, but you just need him for one week though. True, true. Yeah. Well, you never know. But you could trade potentially if Caleb really starts to break out. All right.
Starting point is 00:14:40 From Matthew, Troy Franklin, Cooper Cup, or Jameson Williams. Oops. I would go with Cup. I'm going to say Jameson for the upside there, and I do apologize for that sniffle right there. I will be muting. I heard I've made some...
Starting point is 00:15:00 I'm dealing with the sickness. I feel like Azer right now, honestly. It looks not good. I don't like this. How does this happen? This never happens to me. This is a you thing. Yeah, it's not fun.
Starting point is 00:15:09 It's not fun. Steve's C comment is pretty good. What is it? Oh, boy. No, the other one. We can answer this one. He traded McCaffrey for Judkins and Jacori-Crosky Merritt. What do you think?
Starting point is 00:15:22 You think that's a great trade? A good trade. Yeah, you're getting too solid. I don't like that trade at all. I don't like that trade at all. Why? I don't, when I have a McCaffrey type on my team, one of the five performers week in, week out,
Starting point is 00:15:35 who's dominating fantasy football, I'm not going to trade him for a two for one and think that I'm getting a win. What about the Rallelman and McCaffrey and Michael Carter? Yes. Over those two? Any day would I rather start McCaffrey and Michael Carter over those two? Any day.
Starting point is 00:15:50 Caffrey's super interesting, right? He's rushing so poorly. He's got, he's on pace for over 130 catches. There hasn't been kiddle all year. There hasn't been Jennings and Pierceall, right? Eventually, IUC could come back. Oh, geez. So the theory that Heath, you know, brought this up as a cell high is that the targets
Starting point is 00:16:13 are going to, you know, decrease. He'll still be super involved, but he's got like basically everything to himself. And I still think like he'll basically make up for that with more touchdowns. I think he's only scored twice this year. But I traded him for Kairn and Nico. That's a trade I can be on board with, right? We're getting Kairn and Niko.
Starting point is 00:16:34 I mean, like, Merritt has a chance to be really good rest of the season. I'm okay with that. Judkins, not as sold. He's a great writer. Do you have Jukori-Krosky Merritt, than Judkins' rest of the season? Yes. Because Jacorium Grasser Merritt is on a healthy offense
Starting point is 00:16:46 that will score points and creates in the run game. Judkins is on a terrible offense and he's creating on his own and they're not going to be in scoring position a lot. I think it's going to get a lot worse coming up fast for Dylan Gabriel. I think he's very one of the most overrated assets in fantasy right now. The same reason I wasn't in on him preseason. We'll watch.
Starting point is 00:17:02 He'll have a lot of games where he has 80 to 90 to 100 rushing yards and nothing else. Well, I don't know. 8 to 10 points. It's something. It's not great. Some of those games are going to be 60 to 70. 20 or more. He's been doing this against two of the best,
Starting point is 00:17:15 three of the best run defenses the last three weeks. Yeah, I don't know, man. But he needs a touchdown. We got to take a break. That's what we need. Starting point is 00:19:50 Okay. This is from Angie. First of all, she says, hookum horns. And then she says, would you start Pitman over Garrett Wilson? 100%. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:02 No. I would start Wilson. I know the matchups worse. I would still start Wilson. I think he's got a great report with Fields, and I think there's more upside for targets there. Three straight games against Patrick Sertan and the Broncos, three straight games under 10 PPR points. Yep. I get it. Yeah, the difference is like he was regularly scoring. He's better this year than he was those last three years. He's having his best season. But I am going to avoid it. You know, last night, Thursday night, the Giants shadowed A.J. Brown with Paulson Adibo. And I think Adi's, Debo did fine. Brown didn't kill them, but he had six for 80. And then you just compare that to...
Starting point is 00:20:37 I mean, that Devo's not, Sertan. Come on. What are you doing? No, what I'm saying is Sertan is so good that, like, a normal quarterback can shadow A.J. Brown and no, six for 80, whatever. But, like, Sartan is so good that he's just, he's just an eraser, basically, is what I was trying to say. He's just different than any other breed. All right, back to the questions here from Travis. Hello, team, minus Dan. I am visiting New York City. First timer here. I'm in town for a wedding, and luckily there is a Giants game
Starting point is 00:21:10 that I will be planning on attending. He sent this yesterday. I am here until Sunday morning. Several weeks ago, Dan mentioned a great late-night sandwich place to go to. I was hoping you could send your recommendations. What was it? What was the late-night sandwich place?
Starting point is 00:21:22 Did you just say minus Dan? Yeah, hold on. I'll get to that. There's more. What was your recommendation? What was your recommendation? What was your recommendation? What was a cat's deli?
Starting point is 00:21:30 I'll let him figure it out. Go back and listen. I was going to reach out to Dan on LinkedIn, but I noticed he denied my connect request. This song, considering... I haven't literally clicked on LinkedIn in over three to four years. We both attended UW at the same time. I never realized how hurtful Dan could be.
Starting point is 00:21:50 I'm sure you have an explanation as to why this happened, but I'm not ready to hear it. At this point, I'm now concerned that my LinkedIn's been hacked. I'm not even kidding. I'm like, damn, not... dead serious. I have not clicked LinkedIn in over three years. I do not use that platform. And somebody is on there denying requests from people. Yeah. I looked at your LinkedIn profile. It says host of fantasy football today. It does not say that. It does not say that. It does definitely.
Starting point is 00:22:17 I actually, it's funny that you bring up LinkedIn. I spoke at a college class this week. And the professor said, oh, I'm going to send all the students your LinkedIn. And I'm like, same thing, Dan just said. I haven't touched LinkedIn forever. And then they asked. Ask me why I don't, why I don't use LinkedIn. And I said, that's just not a part of my day to day. But apparently the youth of America does. Really? I didn't know anybody.
Starting point is 00:22:39 I shouldn't say that. I mean, I just, it's not something that I use. But I don't know what happened. I'm sorry to have that happened. Any UW graduate, especially when the same time as me and a giant, like this is, and visiting New York, so I can give you all my food recommendations. Hit me up on Twitter. I answer people all the time on Twitter.
Starting point is 00:22:55 There you go. All right. This is from Richard, from a tiny town west of Washington. Washington, D.C. I don't know. Ask Dave the gag of Bruner. I have a town west of Washington, D.C. Yeah, a little town.
Starting point is 00:23:11 If you saw Dave right now, what would you say to? I'd say, I don't want to have to edit two curse words out, so I'm not going to say. I think I'll go back to this Dave thing. I think he did it in good nature. Like, he meant well by it. And we had a lot of ammo. We talked before the pot about all sorts of things. But I do, I will say, Dave, you're still listening.
Starting point is 00:23:30 I do kind of agree with Adam. The bit was better if I didn't know about it, to be honest. Not even a bit if you know about it. All right. So the trade that Richard is considering is he would give up Cortland Sutton for Travis E.T.N. in a PPR league. He has Chase, Pickens, Quentin, Johnston. He's pretty good.
Starting point is 00:23:50 Jordan Addison. He has Kairn, Swift, Tooten, and Menangai. So he needs running back. So would you give up Sutton for E.N.? I guess if you need running backs, yeah. Yeah. You need running back. So what are you going to do?
Starting point is 00:24:06 And I do, I do have face from what I've seen on film that Liam Cohen can design a run scheme that's going to be effective all season long. Okay. Dan, please accept my MySpace quest. Do you guys remember MySpace or was that my generation, not yours? You never had a Moise? It was mine, but I never, I never dabbled. You were too cool for MySpace? Is that what you're trying to tell us?
Starting point is 00:24:32 I'm what? He kind of looks like Tom. I was the Myspace creator, yeah. All right, this is from Henry. Henry says on my mobile app, there are projected points when looking at my team, and then there's the rankings. They don't often agree.
Starting point is 00:24:44 Can you talk a bit about the process behind the rankings and the projections, Jamie? The rankings are done by us individually. So myself, Dave, Heath, we do our own rankings. The projected points are done by, sports line, which is our independent statistics site, which is run by Stephen O. and his team, you probably see him on some things on our site if you, if you find it, certainly if you go on sports line.
Starting point is 00:25:12 So the projected points are determined by an algorithm and our rankings are determined by us individually. And then you see the collective rankings if you're looking at that separately. Yeah. So we get that question a lot. Projections are just are not Dave, Jamie, and Heath, even though Heath does his own projections, the projections you see are from sports line. And Dan, do you know what Napster is?
Starting point is 00:25:34 Adam still uses lime wire to Pirates. I had some good Sam Fender ones that I was going to get you with, but I can't now because you know the bit. Do I know what Napster is? Yeah, no, I was more of the lime wire guy. Okay, all right. Do you know what lime wire is, Adam? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:47 Okay. D.K. Metcalfe or Tucker Kraft? I'd go Kraft. The angles are so bad against tenants. The matchup says Kraft, but I feel like there's a more guarantee. I'm going to go Metcalf. I feel like there's a better chance for targets with Metcalf. All right.
Starting point is 00:26:05 This is from gag. I would also go Metcalf for what it's worth. Full PPR, three flex, start two of four. Start two of these four. Travis Hunter, David Montgomery, David Montgomery, Zach Charbonnet, Josh Downs. Full PPR. I don't even know how this is a decision.
Starting point is 00:26:21 Like Montgomery and Charbonnet are on a different level right now than Hunter and Downs. Even in full PPR. I mean, I know what Travis Hunter again. Josh Downs have done it. Yeah, I think. Charbonnet, like, obviously you could score. But if he doesn't score, he doesn't really catch the ball. So Downs, I mean, I feel like Downs is a safer bet to get nine to ten points.
Starting point is 00:26:42 Downs has had two games so far this season with six catches. And three games with nothing. Right. Montgomery's the lock here. I would just take my chances with Charbonne. I mean, actually, I don't even know if Montgomery's the lock. Hunter's dropable. Sharbonnet has three catches all year.
Starting point is 00:27:02 Yeah. This is his last few games. An interesting question because Hunter and Downs are just not really involved a lot. I mean, on Hunter's front, it's very interesting. I don't, there's been speculation that he just hasn't picked up the playbook fully yet on offense. They finally got him a little involved, but I still feel like it's not the involvement we're looking for it, at least consistent on a week-to-week basis. The only thing that could give Hunter some hope is twofold is they just traded for a cornerback. So maybe the secondary play gets better and they don't use him there as much.
Starting point is 00:27:32 And Brenton Strange is out. So there could be a difference in how they operate their offense if you want to take a shot on that. For me, I would just take the guys that have been producing consistently. Montgomery, like Dan said, is easy. I think Charbonnet is the other one that would use. Okay. Next question is from Wesley. Dear Bert, dear Bert, Ernie, Zoe, and Abby.
Starting point is 00:27:55 No chance Dan knows this. Bert Ernie Is that just What was that PBS show That PBS show Yeah what's the name of it Sesame Street Yeah very good
Starting point is 00:28:07 And the other two And then Zoe and Abby are not from Sesame Street So they are They are Why do you interrupt Let him go down the He should have let me I was never getting there
Starting point is 00:28:19 That was diabolical All right So sit one from this list James, Trayvion Henderson, Kamani Vidal, Kendrick Bourne. Just laughing at Rosie's comment. Tell me again. Sit one from the following list.
Starting point is 00:28:39 James, Tramon Anderson, Kamani Vidal, Kendrick Bourne. I'm going to sit, Jameson. I just have no faith right now. I'll sit by Del. Johnny Airport says, according to Dance Bridge, the Giants have two wins and a Tetris block. That's great. I couldn't do it today.
Starting point is 00:28:59 I tried to get two and four. I don't know how to do it with the amount. I need to order more magnets. That's all I can say. Okay. And let's see what else we got. From Ryan, would you trade either Darren Waller or Tucker Kraft
Starting point is 00:29:13 for Jacori Kroski Merritt? In a heartbeat. Yeah. Waller for sure. Who do you like better rest of season? Craft or Waller? Craft. Craft.
Starting point is 00:29:21 All right, this is from Kelly. Yeah. two questions from kelly i think i'm just going to read one of them give me in half ppr i need a flex and a running back it's a guillotine league zay flowers r j harvey jalen warren i would go with flowers i mean even and and a running back uh warren okay is warren yeah is warren a lock i haven't checked the practice reports recently he's been practicing yeah it's full practice okay so flowers and warren for sure Chuba Hubbard is officially out. Flowers can get that garbage time work, too.
Starting point is 00:29:59 The other than Coker is listed as questionable. Crosby stills at Nash. They play for the penguins, right? That's good. I mean, they do, don't they? Sidney Crosby, that's good. That's good. Thank you. We got some good comments today.
Starting point is 00:30:12 What was the other one that you wear your giant sweatshirted, did your LinkedIn profile? Yeah, that big giant sweatshirt. I stand by that. I got some compliments on it. I won't bring it back on the show, though. I got too much hate. Okay, question for...
Starting point is 00:30:23 I thought everybody loved it. You got so many comments about having people... Yeah, on the Giants podcast. But shocking. Question. I need to clarify something. So you wore it on Beyond the Box score on Wednesday. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:36 You wore it on the mailbag on Friday. Sure. When do you record Big Blue Banter? The same day, Wednesday is when I recorded that. Okay. So I don't... Personally, I think you can wear a hoodie whenever you want all the time around your house. I don't...
Starting point is 00:30:50 I hate this, like... Honestly, Adam, I think in a lot of ways, you're very much, let me think of the right word for this and the right way to phrase this. You're very smug and condescending when it comes to what people can wear, when they can wear it, and how often they can wear it. Give me another example. This is the one example I have. No, you've done this in the past with other stuff. You've done this with other stuff. Oh, well, this one, I'm not even going to bring back up because it makes me look bad.
Starting point is 00:31:17 But the point being, I can wear a hoodie whenever the heck I want. Around the house. I'll throw it on. I'll take it off. I'll throw it on. It's not getting dirty. It's fine. I agree.
Starting point is 00:31:28 Just don't wear it on the air. You got to wear different stuff. Why? You can't repeat. You can't wear the same outfit. If I record two shows in the same day, one for one podcast, one for another, I am perfectly fine. And if it goes Wednesday to Friday, I don't care about that either.
Starting point is 00:31:41 I care about that. Wednesday, that's fine. Why? What do you care about that? What's the difference? We're trying to impress. Like, it's not that. Like, we are trying to impress.
Starting point is 00:31:49 Brozy, Joni, Johnny Airport, we're trying to impress. are trying to we should be looking good like what do we do like stop stop being so you're judging me i feel like you're judging me i was just watching you've seen ted lasso uh yeah but i fell off i've seen all the episodes i don't think it's that good toward the end maybe the first two scenes are good and then it's like the darts the darts scene you're talking about i don't remember stuff well i'm curious it's just a great great scene oh yeah yeah yeah so that's what i'm saying be curious and don't judgmental. If I like wearing a hoodie around the house often,
Starting point is 00:32:24 I'll wear a hoodie around the house. I'm very curious about many of the things you do. I promise. You're not alone. A very weird person. Travion Henderson or D'Andre Swift and half PPR. Swift. Yes, Swift.
Starting point is 00:32:40 How can we trust Trayvion right now? And pick two in full PPR. Sutton, Garrett Wilson, Travion Henderson, Matthew Golden. Sutton and Wilson. Yeah, but I can't do Henderson or Swift there. Let's do it. The fantasy cops are here, ladies and gentlemen.
Starting point is 00:33:07 Send your emails to fantasy football at cbsi.com and put fantasy cops in the subject line. This one is from Keaton. Keaton has been playing in the same group for close to 10 years. By the way, Dan, do you know Michael Keaton? Can you name one Michael Keaton movie? Batman. Oh.
Starting point is 00:33:24 Very nice. Not always wrong when it comes to this type of stuff. As the commission, I just noticed this week that a manager has had Rishi Rice in his IR spot since week one. We have a group Facebook. He wrote FB. It's either Facebook or fullback.
Starting point is 00:33:43 We have a group Facebook where I made a post, suspended players should never go on IR. I also texted to the manager and told him if it wasn't corrected by Sunday, I would drop Rishi Rice from his team. He took the Facebook post as me, quote, calling him out, calling him a cheater, coming at him with unspoken rules, end quote,
Starting point is 00:34:03 claiming the site led him so he thought it was within the rules. Again, we've played together for nearly 10 years and something like this has never flown. Can you just share some thoughts so I can assure him that people with way more knowledge and valued opinions than mine or his would agree with this and his reaction is bogus. So within the rules, it does not say or does say?
Starting point is 00:34:29 When did he make the post that you can't do it? Week 5 or something like that, you know, whenever he noticed it. Oh, yeah, no, that's, see, that's bad. That's on the commissioner. So if the score, if the transaction rules allow him to do it, and there's nothing in the bylaws or the rules, that say he can't do it, unfortunately, you cannot change anything. You can try and put it to a vote to make it moving forward, but you can't penalize him
Starting point is 00:35:00 for doing this. I agree with Jamie. I mean, I didn't want to say that on this podcast, but it's true. When he's right, he's right, and I have to just say it and has nothing to do with it, first of all, Adam, if he gets there, let me just make something clear to the listeners. If we're asked to start sick question, Jamie just gets on it first, but I agree with his answer. I'm not just going to disagree for the sake of disagree.
Starting point is 00:35:17 Now, back to the show, back to this fan. fantasy cops. I hate to say it as commission, but you just made the mistake of not making this rule early enough before the season. And I'll say this, I've dealt with a lot of this, these types of situations as commissioner of my home league. We got to the point, Adam and Jamie, where we just said, whatever the site allows, go with that. Because it's too annoying to have to police and micromanage things on a week-to-week basis, looking at people, or are they doing it right? It's just better to let the site do it. Unfortunately, this site is allowing that to happen, But you as commission needed to make that clear before the season.
Starting point is 00:35:51 Well, this is the same thing that happened with Adam and me, and he decided to change it. Just cut the player from your team, yeah. Yep. Yep. And that's the type of commission. Look at it. That is exactly what happened. You weren't putting Rishi Rice on IR?
Starting point is 00:36:04 No, I did something that the league allowed me to do. Right. And then you decided to police it after the fact. And then you decided to cut a player. Without even telling him, even just cutting him, yeah. I mean, look, he did say it's new Adam. He did say a few months ago it's going to be new Adam as commission. And we have to respect what he's doing now.
Starting point is 00:36:19 He's a hard out on the Rules Commission. He just makes his own rules and just does what he wants. It's represented. Jamie obviously knew what he was doing was wrong. By the way, I was... One of the people on this show, you know, the three of us, plus I'll throw Jacob in there, Heath, Dave, one of the people I found did something interesting. Now, I don't know how you think about this, right?
Starting point is 00:36:44 So, Taj Spears last week comes off IR. okay um when Saturday something like that Friday Saturday this person left him in an IR spot did not take him out I think if you don't make any changes to your lineup yeah you can do it was that cheating no because it was not I did the opposite I had spears in a lot of leagues I activated him and I dropped yeah well this is why you have to either it's not cheating unless it's in the rules and this is why we just said, you know what? Just whatever the site allows, that's it.
Starting point is 00:37:22 Because nobody wants to police this week to week. Nobody has time for this. So I'll give you, I mean, I don't know what I did as commissioner. I know it wasn't me, so you can't be calling me out. That I set all of my IR spots as commissioner that once player comes off IR, your lineup is illegal if there are left in an IR spot. So to your point, there's obviously one that I commissioned because that's exactly what the rule does. but I think it's I think if you have a legal lineup with Tadjay Spears in your IR spot and then he comes off I and you never touch your lineup I think it's okay right
Starting point is 00:37:56 the way that the league does it and this is just a byproduct of the of the league is that unless you you can leave it as is until you make a lineup change it will not allow you to make a lineup change a lot of now you make an ad drop so you are basically frozen but you could still start your your team I know you're talking about who did because I saw they dropped Tajier Spears gesture. No, you don't know who I'm talking about because it was in this person's FFT Open Division.
Starting point is 00:38:22 I had to go in there to do something as a commissioner and I noticed this person. I saw somebody drop Tysay Spears from our show yesterday, so I assume that's what was. Would you be okay with that, though? Would you be okay with someone leaving Spears and I are not changing their lineup and just keeping them there for the week? Yes, I can't police that. I mean, that's what the league allows you to do. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:43 All right. Leave for the same way. By the way, I'm sorry, Keaton, I know you wrote the fantasy cops, like, ready to own the guy in your league, but we totally disagreed with you. We're going to take a quick break. We have one more fantasy cops. Ironically that you did, though. Four of your questions. This episode is brought to you by Peloton.

Start collecting today, only at Tims, at participating restaurants in Canada for a limited time. Yeah, this is a great point in the comments by Mike McKenna. The first activity before any drafts is look at the rule of settings in last year's
Starting point is 00:39:52 status. You should also bring up last year's rules to see if any settings were changed. Yeah, you've got to do this before the season. That's when you can do stuff like this. There are things that come up. I mean, look, that's obviously well said and yes, you should try. There are things that come up that you don't anticipate that you never would have thought about putting in the rules.
Starting point is 00:40:08 I know. It happens every year, but that's part of fantasy. You know what else is part of fantasy? The fantasy cops. Here we go. It's from Kyle. He says, Dear Eddie, Jamal, Amad, and Ryan. Who I got it.
Starting point is 00:40:23 Eddie Jamal, Amad, and Ryan. Who's Ryan? These are Packers running backs. Yeah, Eddie Lacey. Jamal Williams. Oh, wait, no. No, no, I don't know. It was a mod being.
Starting point is 00:40:37 Not a mod. The only mod I know is Amad Bradshaw. Can't be him, obviously. I don't know who this is. Jamal. Well, anyway, back to the fantasy cops. My league's waivers run on Wednesday night. Ryan Grant, Mr. Rapensky got it, Brian Grant.
Starting point is 00:40:54 Yeah. But who's Amad? It's probably Amon. They just got it wrong. Okay. Well, don't get it wrong next time. You could call it in the fantasy cops and you get the greeting wrong. Yeah, that's true.
Starting point is 00:41:03 If you're going to Amon Green, you have to say the name, right? Almost like being a bad commissioner. Go ahead. I would know. I would know. All league waivers run on Wednesday night and free agency opens on Thursday. Making a commission is under a lot of watch. I actually got a text.
Starting point is 00:41:18 You've done at best a lukewarm job as commissioner of that week. I got a text last night, which was jarring when I read it. What was it? Realized that it was a mistake. What happened? Somebody texted me. Adam just cheated in one of our leagues. Uh-oh. He did it again. What did it do? What happened?
Starting point is 00:41:38 It was you picked up somebody in a league. I'm not going to say which league because you're going to figure out what it was. You picked up somebody in a league and somebody said, I try to pick up that player and it was locked and then realized, oh, I meant I picked, I realized I tried to pick up a different player that was locked. So Adam did nothing wrong. When I saw it,
Starting point is 00:41:52 I was like, Adam's a cheater. Whoa. You could tell Jack. You saw it. You weren't surprised. You could tell Jack to cram it. Was not Jack. Okay.
Starting point is 00:42:00 Tell Jack, I'm sorry for saying that. Yeah, you're just digging a further hole for yourself. All right. I'm going to read this fantasy cops now. My league's waivers run on Wednesday night, and free agency opens on Thursday at noon, manually, by the commissioner. Okay, so at noon, the commissioner opens free agency. The commissioner was late opening free agency,
Starting point is 00:42:22 and at noon, a league mate texts the commissioner saying, get Haskins cut Gino. At 12.01 p.m., I text the commissioner. Hey, commission, hey, commish, I am trying to pick up Haskins, but it seems that free agent isn't available. why is that? Thinking there was a delay, I refreshed numerous times
Starting point is 00:42:42 waiting for the available players to become free agents. Free agency then opened at 12.07 p.m. and I picked up Haskins. Hours later, the commissioner and the other league mate texts me saying that the league mate
Starting point is 00:42:53 deserves Haskins because his texts came in first. No, nowhere in any bylaws does it say that texts are worthy of an actual transaction? So my question is, does the earlier text message hold more weight
Starting point is 00:43:05 than actually acquiring the player once free agency opened, which opened seven minutes late. All of this for Hassan Haskins, 2025 fantasy football, summed up pretty well right there. So I'll give you two things related to this. First off, what I would have done is if I was late doing this policy that is run, I would have said, hey guys, sorry I'm late. Hey, everybody, sorry I'm late for opening waivers. Waivers will open at 1210.
Starting point is 00:43:35 Be ready to make your moves. So giving, or 12, 15, give everybody notice that, hey, I, I effed up, and I need to give you guys time to sit in front of your app, computer, whatever the case may be, and make those moves. I play in a fantasy basketball league with other analysts. It's a 30-team league. It's insane. And so any time, like, random players, so this happened, this has happened from time and time throughout the years, like a player signs from China or whatever, you know, somebody that's coming from out of the NBA and out of the, NBA pool, they've just established a policy of whoever emails the league first gets that player because not in the system.
Starting point is 00:44:16 And so that's kind of been allowed. It's unfair for somebody like me who doesn't follow basketball like that anymore. So I'll never, you know. That league sounds like a matter. But you get the point. Like there's a system in place of if you're going to notify the commissioner, you have to notify the league. You can't just text the commissioner personally and say, hey, I get that player.
Starting point is 00:44:36 rights if that's not allowed. So what I would have done is just say, hey, I screwed up. Instead of 12 o'clock, I know it's 12.7, it's going to be 1230 today. Everybody, be ready. Right. That didn't happen.
Starting point is 00:44:50 So now what do we do with, it's supposed to open at noon. Guy sends a text message at noon asking for it. Then a guy sends a different guy sends a text message at 1201 wanting Haskins. And then that second text message, the 1201 guy gets him at 1207. Then commissioner says,
Starting point is 00:45:05 now this other guy texted first day. at noon, I'm going to get to him. I mean, I guess if you're, if you're going to allow that, then it just has to be the policy moving forward of, of notifying the commissioner. I mean, if there is some sort of documentation that shows the time and the, and the stamp. This is insane. I'm with Nathan Thompson.
Starting point is 00:45:24 Manual Wayvers is crazy. He says, why even set yourself up? You know what? I got to be, I got a bone to pick here. Okay. I understand that you don't like the way this is done. But it's not about critiquing their league. It's about solving their problem.
Starting point is 00:45:36 Not always. Sometimes critiquing their league is solving their problems. This is not going to help them. It might help them for the future. It may help them for the future. Some person breaks into your house, the cops don't say, well, you know what? You should have done. We're not going to arrest the guy. They probably do say that.
Starting point is 00:45:51 And they probably say next time you'd be more careful. You better have a security system. All right. Here's what I would do. I would put Haskins back in the player pool. And if this is the way that this league is run, that at 12 o'clock, it's just a mad dash to whoever gets there first. So do it for Saturday.
Starting point is 00:46:06 Saturday, he's 12 o'clock. It opens up. Whoever gets their first gets him. Yeah, I like that. Thank you, Jamie. Yeah. What a great league. Just mad dashed to free engines.
Starting point is 00:46:16 Well, that's why I have, you probably don't even know the controversy going on in the Dynasty League in the Bake Burger, do you? There's another one going on, dude? What is going on with you, dude? Can you commission? No, this is a serious question. So we have a little bit of a split in the league.
Starting point is 00:46:33 Thomas got a little upset last week. He was trying to pick someone up on Thursday and realized he couldn't because that player was playing on Thursday. And I have it so that Fab runs every night, except Sunday. The only time you can just add somebody is Sunday. And I guess Monday, if it's a player playing Monday. I prefer it that way because I don't like a scenario where a player gets hurt in practice or something like that.
Starting point is 00:46:59 And then it happened last week. It happened with Rico Dattle, it happened with Michael Carter. or we got these news updates, whatever, and I was rushing to all my leagues to pick these guys up before someone else. I don't like that. I like Fab running every night. I do realize, though, that it can put you in a bind
Starting point is 00:47:16 if you need someone on Thursday or have someone on Thursday and want to drop them, but your lineup's basically locked in that regard. I mean, you could drop them, but you'd have an illegal lineup for a day, which whatever. But, right, so it puts people in a little bit of a bind, but that is typically how I run, my leagues. I don't have open free agency until Sunday. So I have a poll up right now.
Starting point is 00:47:38 If people want to change it, I'll let them change it. I said majority rules will change it next week. But I have actually interested in people's perspectives on that. You know, what do you like better? You have to be more prepared. If you have the FAB system that runs every night, you just, you have to get ahead of the game. And you have to run waivers on Tuesday night. You cannot do it for the first time on Wednesday night. Because you're not, you're not have people put in, you know, their bids and then not get them and be stuck for a Thursday night situation, whatever. So definitely on that front, the problem, this has been a big topic in my home league and controversy, debate on both sides. The problem with this version, while it is much fairer for people who are not just like on their phones with injury news happens, in the league we play in, if you do this form of waivers, then it's not open for a agency on Sundays.
Starting point is 00:48:25 And that to me is unacceptable to not have it be open frequency on a Sunday morning when anything could happen late scratch is you're, you can get both of the best of both worlds here. Yeah, yeah, absolutely. And I like this version better. As long as you get that. One quick comment, by the way, just because you can vote. Just because you mentioned the Bake Burger League, one quick comment. My team is 5 and O in the Bake Burger League with 100 more points in the second place team. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:48:48 I love when you do this because last week you did this. You started a league with a 2QB, a Super Flex League. Oh, no, I did not want this to be brought up. You started a Superflex league where I thought that I got through this and no one was going to bring this up. Mute him, mute him, mute him, mute him, mute him, please mute him. I'll go ahead. You lost to me in one league. I think you lost another league I saw too.
Starting point is 00:49:13 So I love when you do this because the karma just comes back to you over and over again. Yeah, and Jamie, who's he playing in the Big Burger League this week? You? Great, that's a free win. Look at your crap team. What are you? One in five, as usual, one in four. This is the easiest win I could have.
Starting point is 00:49:27 Yeah, well, I got Wondale, so we're off to a good stuff. Oh, you got Wondale. I could care less. you're still 32% underdog after having Wondell's breakout. Think about that. Think about how bad your team is to have to have that.
Starting point is 00:49:40 How did you guys let me draft this team in a Super Flex League in a Dynasty League? Josh Allen. Let's get to our Apple podcast questions here. This is from Noah. Grade the Trade,
Starting point is 00:49:51 four point per passing touchdown league, full PPR. I traded Brees Hall, Xavier Worthy, T. Higgins, and, Jack Prescott. All right.
Starting point is 00:50:03 Let's go over this again. Breece Hall, Xavier Worthy, T. Higgins, Dack Prescott. That's one side. He gets Drake May, Sequan Barkley, Trey Benson, Michael Carter, and R.J. Harvey. All right. So hold on.
Starting point is 00:50:20 I'll unmute you. I'll unmute you. Hi, Dan. I need you to read that one more time. Yeah. If we don't have it up on the screen, it's just hard. All right. So he's going from Dak to Drake May,
Starting point is 00:50:30 from Breast Hall to Saquan Barkley. so Dack and So May and Sequin he's getting and giving up Dack and Breece Hall Okay That's fine, right? Probably good But he's also giving up
Starting point is 00:50:43 Worthy and T. Higgins And he's getting T. Benson, Michael Carter, and R.J. Harvey. This is redraft? Yeah. I'm out on this. Yeah, I don't think I like it that much. I mean, there's a chance thing.
Starting point is 00:50:56 There's a chance things. What did you say, Jamie? You like it? No, it feels like giving up too much. Yeah, I mean, the idea of it is like, look, we're hoping to get an upgrade to the best player in the trade being Barclay. But is Barclay the best player in the trade at this point watching the Eagles offensive line? I'm not so sure of that. Can you believe they stopped running the ball last night?
Starting point is 00:51:19 They run for 31 yards. They stopped running the ball. They tried to run the ball in the second half on that one possession, and it was stop, stop. It was third and long. For the first two plays of the game, they gashed the Giants. And then they didn't run away. That was basically it. After that, the average under two yards for carry.
Starting point is 00:51:35 The Eagles can't run the football. They're not blocking it up like they were last year. And Berkeley's not the same kind of runner if he doesn't have space in front of him. During his time with the Giants, he was not good when he had bad yards created by his offensive line. Last year, Eagles were number one in yards created. He was the best player in fantasy football. And the NFL maybe, some would say. This year, they're in the 20s in yards created and he's averaging 3.2 yards for carry, whatever it is.
Starting point is 00:51:57 All right, this is from Ray, or Ray, U.M. Trade Ashton Genti and Emeka Abouca for Bijan Robinson and Stefan Diggs. Yes. Couldn't accept that any faster. Or would you rather trade Genti and Abuka for Bucky Irving and Rishi Rice? Heck no. Get Bijon Robinson, the best player in fantasy football. Don't even think twice.
Starting point is 00:52:22 All right. But listen, I mean, Chris Godwin's out now. Abuka, Abuca is going to be awesome. But Bajon is the best player in fantasy. We got this. Look at our producer, John. Josh is getting these on the screen. Good job.
Starting point is 00:52:33 All right, I'm going to the one that says, grade the trade Hampton next. So this is from hindsight. I traded away Hampton,
Starting point is 00:52:41 Keenan Allen, and Rashad White in a 12-Team PPR League. traded away Hampton, Keenan Allen, and Rashad White
Starting point is 00:52:49 for Romo Dunze and Ramandre Stevenson. Interesting. This is interesting. Hampton, Allen, and White. So one guy was out for another
Starting point is 00:53:01 three weeks after four weeks one guy who's a rental essentially in rachad white right and you're getting a dunezay yeah i think you got to do it right well no i don't think so i don't let me tell you why because while hampton while bucky is out i don't know how long bucky's out but rashad white is as valuable as a dunezay let's just say right and then i don't know about that a dunday's been basically a wider zero one shot white while bucky's out i mean they're both must starts I think Hampton's back at four or three weeks. Hampton's got four weeks from four weeks, four weeks including this week.
Starting point is 00:53:38 So there is a chance that White gets you through Hampton's absence based on the reports on Bucky that he's week to week. So let's just say it's this weekend, another week that Bucky's out. Rashad White's basically a poor man's version of both Hampton and Bucky. So number two running back at worst. unless you're receiving Corps is absolutely dreadful I would rather just take
Starting point is 00:54:05 the slight downgrade from O'Donzee to Keenan Allen and keep the running backs. Yeah, all right. Keenan Allen's not nothing here either. The only advantage that you get with O'Doonsay that you don't get with the other guys
Starting point is 00:54:14 is that O'Donzee's already had is buy. I still think we're going to say no. All right, next up from the Scranton Strangler. That's a very good reference. Is that the office? Yeah. Someone dropped Sam Darnold in a The Super Flex League.
Starting point is 00:54:29 Parks and Recreation is a better show in the office. Adam, do you agree? Yeah, we've heard this. We've heard this. Adam, do you agree? Oh, I don't. Well, then you're breaking the rules of what you were supposed to be doing. The bet is off.
Starting point is 00:54:40 Who said the bet was off? Dave, he ruined everything. All right, all right. You know how much I would have really had to agree with that take? I would have hurt me. It would have stunk. Herbert, Nixon, Fields are my quarterback. Should I drop any of them for Sam Darnold?
Starting point is 00:54:56 Herbert, Nicks, and Fields. He also includes, this is important that Herbert and Nix have the same bye week. I mean, look, Fields, this week is going to be a tough go for him because Denver is great against running quarterbacks, and they're going to take away Garrett Wilson, so it's going to be tough for him. But in the case of, first off, how are you going to super flex, oh, someone drops Sam Darry? Who's dropping Sam Darrow? This is an insane super flex league. Yeah, I don't really understand.
Starting point is 00:55:25 There's got to be like an 18 league where he's being dropped. I think I would just think what you have. Like you're starting Herbert and Nix this week. I like them both better than Donald to begin with. Okay. I don't know. I wouldn't, like, I wouldn't drop any of them. It's a Superflex league.
Starting point is 00:55:42 Okay. Well, this is from last one here is from Hayden. Hayden says that my hatred for the new kickoff setup is potentially my worst take of all time. Why? Why is it as worst? I don't know. I think it's a good thing. And he also was saying that the reason why kickers are so dangerous this year is that they changed the K ball.
Starting point is 00:56:04 He actually read an article about that on ESPN.com, kind of refuting that. One of the special teams coaches that they interviewed said it was much to do about nothing. Okay. I guess the kickoff thing is growing on me a little bit, but it's just so frustrating to have the team start. Well, yeah, I mean, the kickoffs, kickoffs can be exciting, but. I think the problem for me with it is that it's coinciding with this big jump we've seen in the quality of kickers in the NFL. So I just don't like when these games end where it's like there's not much time left
Starting point is 00:56:35 on the clock, but somebody makes a bad kickoff and now they're at the 40 and they just need one or two first downs and they lose. And like, it just doesn't make sense to me. I have two things. First off, I love how people thought I was serious with the Derek Henry take yesterday that he should sit. The YouTube comments were funny. like obviously you don't Derek Kennedy's not sitting um I did hear this from somebody that I thought
Starting point is 00:56:58 was was interesting now I hope it doesn't happen because it's like Greg Williams level terrible um but someone said to me that they would take the kicker out tell their team to take the kicker out immediately to start a game so first touchdown first field goal attempt like look what it did to the colts now granted it didn't matter oh yeah it lost two games because science Giants fans. It's a huge deal, absolutely. I don't like touchbacks. People are saying I like, I don't like touchbacks at all.
Starting point is 00:57:31 I just, the end of game stuff where you get the ball, it's such good field position. It's a little maddening. Here's a couple bad takes of mind that we can just air out there. One, I think the NFL should allow an emergency kicker, like they allow emergency quarterback because I think it's stupid. That's not bad. Yep.
Starting point is 00:57:47 And here's another bad one. I'm really Adam. This one's for you, Adam. I'm getting sick. tired, not sick and tired, but I don't want to see Camp Scadaboo do backflips after he scores touchdowns. Let me explain why. I live through the David Wilson error, and I don't know if the spinal stenosis was because of that, but the guy's just doing backflip after backflip. And maybe if it's not even bad on your spine to do a backflip on that MetLife turf,
Starting point is 00:58:08 it's bad in the sense of like, if you land wrong on a backflip, you're injuring your ankle or worse, for what? For what? So I just, I'm out on the Camp Scadaboo celebrating backflips. I just, I don't want him to do it anymore. I think it was that the NFL memes handle um you know whether it's just a lot of funny stuff uh showed one of his backflips and he paused and he said uh scataboo just checking to make sure his ACLs and Achilles are intact after landing on the turf at MetLife right like I don't need him landing on the turf after a backflip wrong and now he's injured and it's like well I guess we got cool backflip celebrations out of it it's just not it's not worth it the giants said um the turf they have
Starting point is 00:58:52 newer turf in the last couple of years or something is actually safer. They haven't had a lot of the injuries that people cite are from before they put different turf in. What do you think about this, by the way? It came in my inbox. Let's see if I can add this.
Starting point is 00:59:11 There we go. I can't see that. Yeah, I'll try to zoom in. It's a spirit of Halloween. I couldn't zoom in, actually. Can you see that? Spirit of Halloween fantasy football analyst. Cannot see it.
Starting point is 00:59:24 It says never wrong attitude, ability to delete bad takes, sleeper running back that everyone knows, 20% discount to Patreon, lack of defendable hot tape, does not include humility or reasoning. Yeah. This is like a ton of fantasy analysts.
Starting point is 00:59:41 Thank you for sending that to me. Whoever sent that. I appreciate it. I'll tell you know who sent it. You deserve a little credit. That was Chandler. All right. your questions to end the show any more funny yeah let's see i give up brise hall tray mcbride oh my gosh
Starting point is 01:00:01 i'm not reading this whole thing you guys can just answer it it's great great audio this is insane i'm not reading all tray mcbride trae mcbride t n tony pollard kenneth walker in a 2026 third round pick get bijon colson lovelin devante adams t higgins in a 2027 second round So you're giving up better player. I mean, you're basically selling. Yeah, I like to steal. I don't even know if this is dynasty. This could be keeper when he's saying third round picks.
Starting point is 01:00:30 No, you're giving up, of course, it's dynasty. This is a great trade. I'm getting Bijan and Loveland. Higgins, 226. Yeah, I got to do this. Bejohn's worth like almost the entire package you're giving up. Stop muting Dan. We're potentially missing out on some great Danisms.
Starting point is 01:00:49 Sometimes I deserve to be muted, honestly. I know that. I'm well aware of it. Romeo Dobbs or... Then again, Adam deserves to be muted at times and no one ever can do that. That's the problem. He has all the power.
Starting point is 01:01:00 Heathkin. He can do it. Well, good. I would go born if Jennings plays. I'm sorry, Jenny's up. Born, regardless for me. Justin Jefferson for Quinnshon Judkins and Michael Pittman in a 14-team league.
Starting point is 01:01:15 I'm one and four and I need a win. I guess if you're struggling, fine. I don't think this is good long term. Would you start, this is addressed directly to Dan, Cortland Sutton or Keenan Allen and PPR? Sudden. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:01:34 I, by the way, I know some people have asked about Quentin Johnston. He's been limited. Yeah. I assume he's fine. I haven't heard anything about him being in jeopardy of missing the game.
Starting point is 01:01:45 DJ Moore or Kendrick Bourne? If Jennings plays. I'll still go born. Same. I'm high. I'm born this week. I'm sure we all kind of feel like we don't want to miss out on a big James and Williams game because it could come at any moment, right? Yeah. That's got to be on your mind. I sort of feel the same way about DJ more. I mean, he's been a great player in this league for a long time. They just have to give him more. He gets five targets pretty much every week. But I don't see why. I don't love his role. He's been more of a down. Actually, that's not true. Week one, he was a big high ad dot guy. Now he's back to being a short area guy. I don't know. I still have a little bit of DJ Morphomo. I'm out on.
Starting point is 01:02:22 I mean, it's not that I'm out on. I just don't have the phone, though. All right. I really have James. My big burger team, by the way, fantastic when it has James, DJ Moore, and Chris Godwin. It's just unbelievable. Stefan Diggs, Romeo Dobbs, Javante Williams, Enrico Doudal, start two. Diggs for sure, for me.
Starting point is 01:02:43 I'll start that full PPR. You're running backs from me. Javante Williams, I'll never bench Javante. So, Javon Jigs. I think you're, I think you were too hasty to say Diggs there. I think you need to think. Because you go Dowdle, you're saying? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:54 I love what I saw from Diggs on tape last week. I watched that one for Beyond the Box Department. I was going to stick with Diggs and Javante in full PPR. Yeah, I'm going Dottle. I love 203 rushing arts. Oh, Rob Thomas is here and he says, how are you feeling about our trade last week? What was a trade?
Starting point is 01:03:09 So that was I gave up Gentie and Jamar Chase, obviously before the Flacco trade for Devante Adams, Josh Jacobs, and Blake Corum. and I have Kairn, but I actually dropped Corum. So, Javante, I mean, Dante Adams and Josh Jacobs, and you gave up Chase and Genti?
Starting point is 01:03:28 Yeah. If your theory is don't give up the best player, you have to hate this trade. I don't. Who's the best player, Chase? I don't know. I don't think Jacobs might be the best player there. It could be any of the four, honestly.
Starting point is 01:03:44 I think it's a really cool trade. Like, Chase, I like better now that I don't think of them. Adams is really good, just the injuries and the end of season. I think I kind of like that trade for you, honestly. It's a buy high trade, sell low, buy high. I mean, you're selling low and buying high, which usually people don't like, but I'm not always out on sell low buy highs. I did one earlier this year for Jaunte Williams, and I'm so happy I did it and traded for
Starting point is 01:04:11 Jauntee Williams. Would you trade Zach Sharpernay for Chase Brown and PPR? Of course. is that of course yeah what if walker gets hurt oh i mean sure what if but but also like are you just expecting flacco to really take that i i assume that's because you expect to jump with flaco jami is that what you're saying i'm expecting an improvement with flaco i know flaco will throw him the ball i mean look they've also had some really tough matchups lately it's not like they've been an easy schedule i know the schedule doesn't get that much easier but still could you argue that if you had i'm sorry
Starting point is 01:04:43 If you had Giovante Williams, some combination of Giovante Williams, Jacourri Crosky Merritt, Quinn, Quinn, Sean Judkins, these running backs that have clearly jumped Chase Brown. Yeah. That you'd actually rather have Charbonnet than Brown in the upside play. Like, you didn't have to start them. Yeah, it's tough to see the upside for Chase Brown at this point. He doesn't really make explosive plays at all.
Starting point is 01:05:03 Their run game is one of the worst in the NFL yards created. I think they're last or second to dead last. Their O line is terrible. He's not currently very involved in the passing game. I guess that could take a step forward. He just had seven catches last week. Yeah, seven dump, like, that's fine, but they weren't going for anything. What did he score fantasy points?
Starting point is 01:05:21 Not that much. Right, even with the seven catches. So it's like his involvement is some dump-offs, but- So the only way I go in your theory, Adam, the other way, is that if my team is that good, what if the playoff stretch you get Joe Burrow back and Chase Brown is... He's not coming back, man. If you read that article, it's like, Jay Glazer's like, I know he's Joe Burroughs, So maybe week 18, but this is a playoffs or nothing kind of thing.
Starting point is 01:05:48 I think I'd probably rather have Chase Brown. But how many? The whole point of Chase Brown before the season was he's going to play almost every snap on an offense that's going to score a lot. So he'll have a lot of touchdowns. That's all it's gone now. All right. Let's move on.
Starting point is 01:06:02 Dowdle or Bill? Yeah, basically. For this week, I'd go Dowdle. Dowdle for sure. Murray or Purdy rest of season? I mean, who knows what's going on with Browell? Purdy's injury. He had a huge setback.
Starting point is 01:06:16 If Purdy's playing, I'd always rather rather Purdy, but I don't know if he's going to play. Yeah. Start two. Olave, Lad, Bill, or Dowdell? Dowdell. It's full PPR, so that's important, but doubt... I mean, in non-PPR,
Starting point is 01:06:33 it's definitely the two running backs, even at half and full. I still would go for the guaranteed touches with those two. Okay. Would you sit Derek Henry for Michael Carter? Yes. Yeah. Yeah. I'll play the matchup. That's fine.
Starting point is 01:06:52 Wait, Adam. Is Flacco starting this week? Yes. What's that joke to the pot? I haven't, I've missed five FFTs this week, so I have a long week in a cash-in-up. After the trade, Adam says, well, we'll trade it on Tuesday. We'll see if he's going to start. And I was like, Adam, he's going to start. And then Wednesday, when he said it, I said, oh, wait, I just got a tweet. Captain Avi said it. So what was going on with the feud? I got to check that episode.
Starting point is 01:07:15 You know what? I have an idea. Why don't you just ask Dave? He'll tell you everything. He'll spoil everything. Oh, you're still bitter about that. Are you still going to be mad at Dave on Sunday when you talk to him?
Starting point is 01:07:24 Or are you going to like, you know, I was really mad to you on Friday? I don't know what I. Yeah, you're right. The shoulders are going through the ceiling when I talk to you. Shoulders up, baby. Who does Miami have this weekend? Oh, we have a bye. Okay.
Starting point is 01:07:37 So I was going to say you're going to talk to him before Sunday. For sure. And then seven straight ACC, How pumped are you about Miami right now, Miami football? I feel the same way about them as I do about Jackson Dart. I'm cautiously optimistic. The hurricanes have agency to fake us out every year. But they are different.
Starting point is 01:07:54 Their defense looks real this year. They are nasty. They kick your ass. Even that Florida State game, it was kind of close, I guess, by the score, but it never felt like it was close. Carson Beck played out of his mind. Are you back on the Carsonback first round pick? You're doubling down on that?
Starting point is 01:08:13 Last one here. So it started with Adam saying Carson Beck's in the dark horse for first overall pick in the 20th. No, that's not going to happen. It did say that. You started with that. Then you said, all right, never mind. Just a first round. Yeah, no, he's not, he's not first overall pick.
Starting point is 01:08:24 But I definitely think you can get in the first round. Waddle or Daddell. Wow. That's insane. Waddle or Dowdell. Doubtle. Doubtle. Sit 1, Charbonne, Carter, Ken Walker, full PPR.
Starting point is 01:08:38 Sharbner. Yeah, though, it's funny because. Garvinac could easily outscore Walker, even though he doesn't play just by scoring the touchdown. All right, everybody. That's it for the show. There has to be something else. You've got to pay up on the bet.
Starting point is 01:08:52 Like, this is, this was. Take it up with Dave. Yeah, I agree. You guys think of another something like a damn thing. It just be a pay up on your proclamation. Agreed. Yeah. Well, I can't, it can't be that, you know.
Starting point is 01:09:05 I can't agree with his bad takes. Like, I don't know who Crosby stills is a national union. you do. I'm going to text you on, I'll text both to you or, but. All right. All right, everybody. Thanks for watching. Have a great weekend. Talk to you Sunday morning. See you later. History are clues. You saved her life. We're doctors and we're detectives. I kinda love it if I'm being honest.
