This is fantasy football today from CBS Sports.
What a play!
Can you believe this?
It's a no idea.
It's time to dominate your fantasy league.
This is going to go the distance.
Now here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie, and Heath.
It's mailbag time.
What's up, everybody?
I'm down.
That was dead.
I just rolled out of bed.
No, I didn't just roll out of bed. I've had a nice day here. Went for a nice little walk to start my day. Had my butter coffee. I have a concert later tonight. Not a good thing that you didn't roll out of bed because you look like you just rolled out of bed. I told you I was having a bad hair day. That's on me. But that has nothing to do. The shirt is terrible. The shirt is old. It's ragged. It's a bad shirt. It's not old. It's not terrible. And it's not ragged. It's a great shirt. It definitely holes in the back of that shirt. And we're off. All right. All right. Well, we welcome you.
I'm disappointed in that. Maybe I do
need to throw it in the dryer for a few minutes
though. Yeah, or get a new one. Welcome to
Fantasy Football today, presented by BEDMGM.
Make it legendary. We're going to get
your comments on YouTube, Apple Podcasts.
We got some Spotify comments today.
If you want to leave some questions on Spotify,
maybe like the Buy or Sell episode
or one of the StartSit episodes next week,
we'll try to read some of those on the mailbag.
Your emails at Fantasy Football at CBSI.com.
Dan was so outrageous
last week that he broke. One of our listeners
brains and our listener wrote us a nice long email about it so we'll be reading that and we've
got the fantasy cops of course we have a lot of news updates as well before we get to the news updates
let's go to youtube travion henderson or bam night i go henderson uh henderson
okay click the like button says ernest i agree non ppr would you trade away jacobs and abuca
for Devante Adams, Bill, and Bucky.
Yeah.
Yes.
I would.
I have high expectation about Bucky rest of the season.
We went over this earlier this week.
I'm beyond the box score,
and you're getting a third player in there
who's useful in Bill.
This is a disrespectful comment
that needs to be attended to.
Kevin Morgandy,
looks like a grateful dead shirt.
Does Dan know who the dead are?
You're damn right.
I know who the dead are.
They're probably my favorite band
of all time.
Them are the Allman Brothers.
So let's relax over there, Kevin.
I know a few things about life, not much, but a few things.
Adam, do you think that Dave ruined the bit we're doing today?
I don't think so.
Okay, good.
I think we're good.
No, nothing.
I got nothing from Dave today.
We got a bit going, uh-oh.
With Pugataku out and full PPR, I have to choose between Pacheco, Nick Chub, or Kisham Booty.
I would just punt on the week.
I would go see if one of the backup Rams receivers are available, but Booty's fine.
But Booty's okay.
Booty's definitely the play of those three.
For full PBR.
I wouldn't say definitely, but fine.
Why not?
Who else?
Pacheco?
No.
Pacheco.
But I'll go booty.
It's fine.
But he's got such a low floor.
But so does Pacheco.
Jared Gough or Jalen Hertz?
Gough.
I'll go Hertz, regardless of the matchup.
Oh, but how?
I mean, golf's at home against the bucks.
I just think the rushing upside is just so much of a floor.
He's scoring a touchdown every week.
I would take off this week.
I get it.
Jamie's taking off this week?
No, Gough.
Yeah.
Good one.
Oh, good one, Dad.
This is an example of why dad jokes think.
That wasn't funny.
Like, who laughed at?
Did anyone listening?
Let me, in the comments, tell me if anybody listened to that Gough off joke by Adam and thought that was funny.
It wasn't funny.
That's why I gave a fake laugh after.
That was what made it funny.
Well, then what was the point of it?
Oh, to get the fake laugh in?
Yeah.
Okay, well, that, is that comedy these days, passing its humor these days?
Would you trade Nico Collins and Ashton Genti for Bijon Robinson?
He would still have JSN, Sutton, Pitman.
Oh, yes, yes, in a heartbeat.
Yeah.
All right, and let's do one more here.
Cooper, Cooper, Jameson Williams, that's easy.
We're going, JMO.
So let's do another one.
Non-PPR, Brian Thomas, Jr. or Cortland Sutton?
Also easy, Sutton.
It's Sutton.
There's some hope for Brian Thomas, but not enough.
Yeah, this isn't, like, Thomas sucks.
I just think Sutton's going to have a big game.
Let's get some news.
Honoring to Marys Thomas for the Broncos,
like should be Sutton in the end zone.
Okay, news and notes.
Garrett Wilson is doubtful.
Puka Nakua is out.
Mike Evans not practicing today,
but expected to play this week against Detroit on Monday.
So let's see if you can practice tomorrow.
And then we'll get a little more confidence maybe.
I mean, I am confident.
I'm going to start Evans.
I wish I had Evans.
Josh Downs and two Colts defensive backs missed practice.
So I thought the Colts might be getting a little more healthy in the secondary,
but I'm not so sure about that.
That's obviously a big deal with those three wide receivers and Justin Herbert
that we want to start against the Colts.
And, you know, I think Jamie with Downs,
oh, and also Debo Samuel and Terry McLaurin were both working off on the side at practice.
They weren't exactly participating in practice.
So I'm not sure what to make of that, Jamie.
At this point, I would say don't expect McLaurin just because coming back from an extended absence, not practicing in full is a bad sign.
Debo, we got to be worried about, you know.
So this was kind of the routine last week as well, dealing with this heel injury.
I mean, look, I still think you're starting Jaden Daniels, even if Debo doesn't play.
It certainly puts a lot more of a focus on Zach Ertz as somebody to be a must start tight end.
And then we get these, you know, moving parts at wide receiver with Luke McCaffrey and Jalen Lane.
I don't even know who else, you know, so it's clearly something that they're trying to do.
They did just sign for what it's worth to their practice squad, Traylenbergs, to see if he has anything left.
I think they're worried about receiver.
You know, this could be a team that's in the market for receiver at this point, just given the injuries.
Just seeing now, Marvin Harrison, Jr., still in the concussion protocol, but he is progressing,
according to Jonathan Gannon.
So this is a good transition into what we teased on the Friday morning show, and that would be sleeper-wide receivers for this week.
So whether we're looking at the Bucks wide receivers at Detroit,
the Rams wide receivers in London against Jacksonville,
the Jets wide receivers without Garrett Wilson,
the Cardinals wide receivers maybe without Marvin Harrison
and maybe without Zay Jones.
Is there any situation I'm forgetting here?
I don't think so.
I think those are the big ones.
Yeah, yeah, commanders, sure.
All right, so who would be your favorite?
If every one of those guys was available, Jamie, who would be your favorite?
Jamie, who would be your favorite?
I go back and forth between Sterling Shepard and Tutu Atwell and Jordan
Winnington and just the guys that are attached to good quarterbacks at this point.
So there's a chance, for example, for the guys in Arizona, most likely Michael Wilson
at this point.
There's a chance for Josh Reynolds to make some plays.
But, you know, and even in the commander situation, you're looking at the defenses that
they're facing the quarterbacks that they're associated with and even what Vegas is telling us,
You know, like that line really hasn't moved yet between Dallas and Washington, even with the injuries that wide receiver.
And I'm factoring in.
They probably didn't expect Terry McCorn to play, it would be 100%.
So I would lean Shepard first just because there's some long-term appeal there.
Then I would probably pivot to 2-2 Atwell and Whittington and then even go back to Tess Johnson next.
So just kind of maneuvering my way between the Bucks and the Rams.
But Michael Wilson's intriguing, though, especially if Kyler plays.
They're all intriguing.
Dan, any thoughts on this?
Well, on one note, I almost feel like Michael Wilson's more intriguing if Kyler doesn't play, to be completely honest, just based on what I saw last week.
The passing is much more healthy with Peret in there.
I am looking for the players attached to the schemes and the offense, I believe.
And so Washington's the one that come.
Washington, Tampa are the ones that come first of mine.
Jamie nailed that.
I would say, if you're looking for upside, though, Tess is the interesting play there.
was a great player at college just had really bad measurables he was super small and not like
and didn't have good speed or athleticism in the testing time but just was great on tape i think
he had like 90 receptions and over 1,400 some kind of crazy numbers his final season i don't have
them right in front of me right now um and eight touchdowns at oregon so good player he would be
close to the top of the list for me and then in washington it's probably luke mcalfrey for me who was a
player who was actually like top five in separation rate in his rookie season just didn't get a lot of
may be doing that, maybe getting those snaps now if both Debo and McLaurin are out.
I'm going to guess you just left them out because I would assume you like the RAMS scheme
because there's, you know.
I do.
The RAM just play so slow.
And they play the opportunity there.
I mean, two to out last year when there was no Puka.
They would be next for me.
But when he's had five or more targets, he's been good.
And similar, obviously, with Tess Johnson, the explosiveness.
They're next for me.
They just play at such a slow pace at times.
Yes, fair.
Yeah, I think I go out well.
And then any of those bucks receivers, I also like Cameron Johnson.
I think he's a more complete receiver than Tess Johnson, but not as explosive.
Oh, Terry McLaurin is out.
Oh, just seeing that come in.
Okay.
So, yeah, I mean, it's really a coin flip, but you've got some options this week.
You know, I was thinking people are in...
Oh, I'm sorry.
We forgot one.
If DJ Moore is out, Luther Burden is not only worth potentially starting this week with
that matchup against New Orleans,
rostering rest of season.
Yeah, yeah.
Ooh, he might be my favorite.
Yeah, that's interesting.
But, I mean, D.J. Moore gets five targets a game,
so it's not like he's replacing a big target hog or anything.
No, but if you're talking about now potentially seven targets of game
because he was probably getting around two for a burden, two or three on average.
Okay, right, but here's the thing, right?
So he's the slot guy.
So is it going to be, you know, Zekees that's getting more work?
Is Burden going to get more work?
I think he only ran 13 routes last week.
So it could be a bit of a trick.
Ooh, it's a tough call.
Well, it's also coming off a buy.
Don't negate that.
Rookie wide receivers off by weeks
typically starts to where they start,
it's typically when they start to pick up.
I mean, he ran 13 routes last week.
It's nothing.
But it's the start of something, though.
Is it?
Okay.
The entire passing game was bad.
Right, but he didn't really,
he played a little bit more last week.
He did have his highest route participation rate of the year.
It wasn't by much, but it was.
This is Luther Burtum we're talking about.
All right, that's a good call.
So you got some options here.
I was thinking myself, I am so smart because everybody else is in wide receiver hell.
I didn't draft any Garrett Wilson, any Pugua, or any Ameca-A-Buka.
I knew it.
It was all for week seven.
I knew I was ahead of the game, 3D chess.
All right.
Football fans, you bet on your first player to, you bet on your favorite player to score the first
touchdown in the game, but his teammate scores instead, what are we going to do?
Are we going to just fold, throw in the towel?
Nope, on BetMGM, they want to give you another chance at the end zone with BetMGM's
second chance promotion.
You're going to get your stake back.
If your first touchdown score, score second instead.
So you bet on any pro football player to score the first touchdown of the game.
And if you're right, you win.
If your player scores second, you get your stake back in cash.
With BetMGM's second chance offer, you have a chance to keep the fun going after the first
player crosses the goal line.
Try a first touchdown scorer wager with confidence today.
bet MGM make it legendary into our emails this is from he says tom cruise the quasi action star tom
cruise 10 team half ppr flex spot choose one rico dattle michael pitman d'andre swift jordan addison kamani videl
go with swift so we're a sort of
assuming she was playing.
Yeah.
I would go Swift as well.
That's what I said to.
From Brian in Portland, Portland, Oregon.
PPR 10 team, who am I sitting?
Rico Daudill, Quinchon Judkins, Ashton Genty.
Rico.
Yeah, Dowdell, just with the return of Hubbard,
which is the least guaranteed volume we're going to get of those three, I think.
From Brian.
thinking of offering Scataboo and A.J. Brown for T. Higgins.
No.
No.
That's gross.
If you believe in T. Higgins after what you saw last night, you could probably do Brown for Higgins with the hope that the Higgins manager wants the potential Brown.
So if you really have a not so great feeling about AJ Brown rest of the season, but a positive about Higgins, like I could get on board with that.
of you if that's what you feel okay um let's see something here in the chat no never mind okay
this is from peterson pick two and half ppr peter's this is an email from peterson what's that
from uh pharis bula this is george peterson oh yeah i think we've done this before and i still
can't pick it up yeah that's maybe not a great impression who knows i think it's great half ppr pick
two.
Teteroa McMillan,
Alvin Camara,
A.J. Brown or
Mike Evans.
I would go
Evans and Brown.
I don't want to
get Tet in there.
But I don't think
I could bench Evans and Brown.
So, yeah,
Evans and Brown is fine.
Baker Mayfield or Drake May,
four point per passing touchdown.
May for me,
but it's close.
No.
I'm going Baker.
Yeah,
I'm on the Baker train.
I know the weapons are down,
but I just think that's going to
to shootout.
Wow.
I actually thought it would be the exact opposite.
I thought Jamie was going to take Baker Mayfield and Dan was going to,
because Dan always was in May.
I love May.
I love May.
I don't get me wrong.
Just, I think, I mean, the game script.
I trust more.
May's playing great.
The Mike Rayble Bowl, baby.
Makes, plays playing great.
One guy is the MVP.
Who do you think has more rushing yards this year?
May.
Who?
May or Bayfield or Drake May.
I'll take May the rest of season.
No, who has a right now?
More rushing yards.
Right now it's Baker.
right correct by 20 yards yeah he's been running a lot this year but but no touchdowns
and may their offensive lines been but it was bad it's going to get better they're getting guys
back they're moving barton back to center which is huge and then uh whirfs that left tackles
legit it's funny how you say bakers i assume you mean baker's the MVP base
you know who'd be second for me in MVP may is definitely in discussion second for me would be
deck prescott you know it's funny when we talked about that this morning i was actually
I literally was about to say this.
If they had beaten the Panthers last week and beat the commanders this week,
he would be in the MVP conversation.
It's not a bad take, but it's also not a good one.
And I'll tell you why.
To put him over Drake May,
which is what you just did at him,
it's really disrespectful to what May's done.
He's been better than Dak across the board with worse weapons
and a worse offensive line.
And he's actually won massive games,
like the ones against the bill,
the one against the bills.
So just a terrible take from that standpoint of Drake May,
well over Dak Prescott.
Though I do respect and love that Prescott's game.
Dak, I think you said this preseason, Adam.
The Cowboys are the Bengals.
I mean, it's the exact same situation last year.
It's great when you had, well, preseason,
I was a little worried about the Cowboys offense.
I didn't see this coming.
But when you have a good offense and a bad defense,
it's an amazing combination.
We're going to take a break.
And then.
Devon Diggs is in the concussion protocol.
He had an accident at his home last night.
Wow.
Won't play Sunday.
Yeah, I saw that.
Wow.
All right.
Get well soon.
Rayvon Diggs.
And by the way, there's a video circulating, just, I don't know what made me think of this,
of Justin Jefferson posing as a photographer.
Did you see this?
Not a video.
Oh, with the GM of the Vikings.
Yeah, I just saw it.
It was on prime video last night.
It was after the game.
Oh, it was so, I saw it on Twitter today.
It was so funny.
Treat yourself.
All right, we'll be right back on fantasy football today.
What's that from?
Treat yourself.
You know.
From the second best show between the office and parks and rec.
From a considerably better show with the more diverse characters and a lot of funny
character, like add-on characters.
Okay, thank you.

Here we go.
With the trade deadline approaching, this one's from Aaron, with the trade deadline approaching,
who should be stashed that could benefit from a trade?
Does not appear that Alvin Camaro is getting traded.
So any Kendrae Miller upside hope.
I retire if he gets traded.
Yeah.
Any Kendra Miller hope now depends, unfortunately, on an injury.
So just keep that in mind.
I don't know at what point the Jets would turn to Isaiah Davis if
Bruce Hall is traded, but he's the next man up.
So there's a stash candidate in deeper leagues.
I think in deeper leagues as well,
Jack Bech is worth stashing.
Trey Tucker first,
but Bech would be the next receiver,
probably to be elevated more so than Deontay Thornton
based on the role that Myers plays
and the role I think that Bess will play.
So he's somebody that you can look at.
I guess if you want to say Malik Washington,
if the dolphins trade Jalen Wattle,
I'd be shocked if they traded Jalen Waddle.
If you're looking to rebuild this team,
it's Waddle and A-Chant to me
and then just sort of figure out the rest from a skill position standpoint.
So what incentive did the GM and coach have to trade Waddle right now?
I guess just draft picks, you know, you're trying to get.
They're not going to be there.
Like that's the thing they're coaching for it and man.
Yeah, but that also could be they're both fired this week and then whoever's the insurance.
Yeah, fine.
And, you know, owner mandates or whoever is advising the owner.
I don't know who else would be trade chips.
I guess maybe David DiJoku is somebody to keep an eye on.
Yeah.
But we already know Harold Fana would benefit.
I think the Packer situation is an interesting one.
They've been also involved in these rumors.
Say they do move Dobbs, which I don't think they would, or wicks.
Will that open up Matthew Golden for a breakout second half season?
The Alave one's interesting because if Alave does get moved and he seems the
likeliest, I think, of the big names, does Shaheed become a must-start player?
So he's someone I would stash.
He's not rostered in every league.
Okay.
Thank you, Aaron, for your question.
This one is a 14-team PPR league.
Who do you like better?
Marvin Harrison Jr. if he plays or Quentin Johnston?
QJ.
I would go with Quentin Johnson.
Okay.
Fanon or Waller at tight end?
I've changed my rankings significantly with Waller.
So Fano was already ranked ahead of him,
but to me that's easy right now.
Fanon.
Yeah, I like Fanon, too.
Dobbins, Jordan Mason, or Marvin Harrison, Jr. or Darren Waller?
Mason for me.
Dobbins for me.
Okay.
This is from Grant.
He says,
Adam, I wanted to let you know
that I went to reheat my leftovers today
and I was reminded of your chicken and rice story
from the other day,
along with your rant about not microwaving plastic containers.
As I went to put my food in the microwave,
I came very close to transferring it all to a plate,
but I couldn't bring myself to dirty and extra dish
when the container seemed to work fine.
Anyway, I feel guilty for not listening to you,
and I can confirm that this chicken and rice
did not heat up evenly.
I'll bring myself to buy glass Tupperware
once the next paycheck comes in.
I miss this, Rand.
I'm so involved in it.
I love this.
What was your rant
that you should not reheat stuff
in a microwave Tupperware?
It's not a rant.
It's, I don't,
I do not heat up plastic.
Well, it's definitely bad for you.
With that said,
we have so much microplastics
in our body right now.
Okay, stop, stop right there.
Stop right there.
Today, this morning, as luck would have it,
there's an article.
In the Washington Post, not political.
It's about this very subject.
I screenshot it and I sent it to Heath.
He was completely unmoved.
Send it to me.
But the point was, I'll send you exactly what I sent Heath.
The point was, we don't know exactly how harmful it is.
There are microplastics and everything.
But if there's one thing that releases them, it is heat.
And I take away from this article and I'm sharing it with you good people out there.
do not heat up plastic.
You don't have to do it.
Heat and plastic are a bad combination.
It really is.
And that doesn't even touch on the fact that if you put it on like an actual plate and then
the way to do it is to put all the food like in a circle around the middle.
So the middle you leave empty of the plate and then that evenly heats it.
Yeah, that's how you evenly heat the food.
Oh,
so you just leave that little circle in the middle and have the food around it.
That's better from a taste standpoint.
On the microplastics front, like it's definitely not good to heat up plastic.
That's why they say don't leave a water bottle in your car and then drink out of it.
Yes.
All those things.
But like we're so screwed already on a microplastics.
I don't have to make it worse.
I don't realize how done and cooked we are from every standpoint.
Like even the water bottles, like if you don't leave them in your car, they've been hit by heat
when you, before you buy them and you bring them into your house.
Like they're done already.
The ocean is just lighting up.
The sun is just lighting up plastic in the ocean.
Then we're eating fish out of the ocean.
Let's get back on track here.
We're not going to save this thing.
Let's get back on track.
But you just make that, again, it was all came from the pediatrics thing when my kids were babies.
Anyway, this one is from, I don't have a name here.
Let's say this one from Bobby.
And he says, Dear Hank, Boomhauer, Dale, and Bill.
I just made two trades today.
I gave up, I'll just combine the trades.
He gave up Ashton Genty, Romo Dunezay, and Mason Taylor for,
Jackson Dart, Malik Neighbors, and two 2028 seconds.
Wait.
He gave up a Dunez.
It's a Superflex Dynasty League.
Okay, okay.
So he's going for the Dart neighbors stack and getting two second round picks.
In 2008 for Genti O'Donzei and Taylor.
Yeah, I mean, this first trade depends entirely on your evaluation of Jackson Dart.
And if he can be a long-term fixture, if he's just somebody who's having a hot stretch in his rookie season.
Obviously, if Dart remains the fixture, this is a slam-dump deal.
As good as Odunze is for Dynasty, DART is worth well more than that,
let alone you don't even have to add the two second rounders,
which are nice values as well.
So in Superflex, that is.
Once you see, when you start playing into these Superflex dynasty leagues,
I'm sure Jamie can speak to this in you as well, Adam,
now in Bakeburger where you're just, what are you collapsing again?
I don't know.
That team is just not good.
Yeah, we're talking.
It is impossible to get quarterbacks in Superflex.
They're worth more than their weight in gold.
This is a terrible trade, though.
I hate this trade.
Why?
You're giving up Odunze, Ashton, Jenty, and Mason Taylor for Jackson Dart and a guy who has a torn ACL.
We don't even know how good he'll be next year.
It'll probably be good.
He may not be great.
And you're getting two second round picks in 2028.
This trade is terrible.
These two trades combined are terrible.
No, you're getting the other one, Genty for neighbors is terrible.
But it's all the same thing.
It's the same team.
So he's giving up Gentie, O'Donzee, and Mason Taylor for Dart, neighbors, and two 2028.
second round pick.
This is horrible.
You have to,
what do you mean?
It's the same team making trades.
Jamie, go ahead.
You have to take into account
the super flex part of this.
If Dart is a top 15 caliber quarterback,
you're getting immense value.
And so,
if Dart just plays 10 years in the NFL as a starter,
you're killing the trade.
Ashton Jentee and Romo Dunzee
should get you,
forget about the Mason Taylor,
should get you better than
Malik neighbors of Jackson Dart.
Not necessarily.
I don't think you understand the
value of these quarterbacks.
I don't think you understand a value.
Jackson Dart.
All right.
No,
this is,
you should get a better player.
I think this is that roll into Superflex years for seasons for one, two,
three seasons a row without any quarterbacks.
If you were redrafting next year and Dart finishes the way that he's playing right now.
Yeah.
Then it's an easy slam dunk.
He's going to be a borderline first round pick and a redress in a.
Right.
You're giving up Ashton Gentie and Romo Dunezay.
I'm not disagree with you.
Adam.
When we did the Super Flex,
the Charity one for.
earlier this year, a couple, a month or two ago.
Did you not see how many quarterbacks went in the top 25 picks?
Did Ashton Genti go in the top 25 picks?
Yeah, of course.
He's one of them.
Okay, we are not doing this for Joe Burrow.
We're doing this for Jackson Dart.
There's too much uncertainty.
I'm saying there's obvious risk behind it.
Yes, so don't do it.
A 22-year-old player in a Dynasty League in a Superflex format that could
legitimately be well worth well more value than anyone in this trading, including
Genti and neighbors.
I don't disagree with you wholeheartedly, Adam.
Like, this is not, I'd rather have the other side.
of it. Yeah, it's not a slam dunk. I'd probably rather
have this other too. You can make a case
just based on the ACL situation
that O'Dunzei is closer to Malik neighbors
than he's ever been and maybe on the same
level right now. And so
Taylor could be
a superstar. So yes, I'd rather have that
side, but it's not that crazy. Okay. Well,
do we all agree then. Don't do it. Don't do it.
I think you already did it, though.
He did. Okay, this is from Eddie.
Give me a running back and two flexes.
We're just going to do names here. We'll go
rapid fire. Pacheco, Trevi
John Henderson, R.J. Harvey. Michael Carter. We need one of those. Pacheco, Henderson, Harvey,
Michael Carter. Henderson.
Yeah. And then we need... Yeah, the rest are just terrible. We need two flexes. We need
Pacheco, Harvey, Michael Carter, Jerry Judy, Darnel Mooney, Ricky Pearsall, Tucker Kraft.
Pierceall's out, right? Not officially.
Practice in weeks, it feels like, craft. Craft. Craft is easy, and I'd go, Judy.
craft is easy as as jamey said oh judy i can't go judy with dylan gabriel um i'm going judy is is mooney
is mooney a lock to play no no no all right judy and judy and craft for
no craft and carter okay i don't like that either no i guess craft maybe default judy in there
i don't know i mean gabriel this is horrific hopefully mooney or pierce all play
There's a little bit of a speaking wheel potential for Judy this week just because the receiver coach for Cleveland just was talking today, the media about helping Judy getting over the drops and still having a lot of confidence in him.
So it wouldn't shock me if there's another eight plus target game just at 13 targets, no David Nogoku.
Like there's big time opportunity here against Dolphins.
The biggest concern for me to be the weather.
The biggest concern for me is definitely not the weather, though that's a concern.
It's Dylan Gabriel, whose passing chart is like one to seven air yards every week on every attempt.
Great job on the rapid fire.
Like, that was really...
I'm sorry, let's talk about plastic somewhere.
Terrific, great job.
What happened in the Washington Post today about...
What's the cartoon in Washington Post?
I don't know.
I didn't see the cartoon.
I was just trying to help people live.
Joe Hubbard is officially back.
He's no injury designation.
Debo confirmed out.
Oh, Debo's out?
I think that's what I just saw.
I saw it in the chat.
That was not a good call by me to use the chat as, as evidence of anything here.
Let's take a quick look and see if that was also...
Kraft or Ferguson this week.
Ferguson
Okay, how about
Ferguson, but I was wrong about the Debo thing
He's working off to the side of practice
But not practicing, he'll probably be out
But no, we don't know that
I mean, no, no, no, don't say that
No, no, no, no, don't say that.
And Quinn said that he did some things today.
Debo's going to play.
He's just probably not going to be at 100%
He was going to play for sure.
Okay, my bet.
All right.
This is from Jay.
Let's see.
I'm one in five.
pick one running back and two flex
Ken Walker
Woody Marks
Bam Knight
Bejal Tootin
We need one of them
Bam
No no sorry Ken Walker
I would go with
Woody Marks
And then
Walker Golden Addison
Okay
Walker Golden Addison
And then Jamie who do
Like Golden Addison
Whittington
Marks
Ken Walker
Golden and Addison.
All right.
And Jamie, you said that you want to see the Patriots let Travion Henderson loose.
This emailer, I don't have his name, sorry.
He said, among 41 qualified running backs, he ranks 41st in rush yards over expected per attempt, over expected per attempt,
34th in yards after contact per attempt, 39th in PFF Russian grade.
I have not confirmed these.
But he is right, that Trevion Henderson hasn't done anything.
The only counter to that would be is what the F has Ramandre Stevenson done.
Yeah, I agree.
But it is worth noting.
I would like to see Henderson get actual workload so he can have a chance to make a big play.
It's such a big part of that position is getting in a rhythm and getting opportunities.
Now, clearly there are players that don't need to have a lot of volume to show how good they are,
and that eventually leads to volume.
Think about Jacori-Crossky Merritt earlier in the season,
and then what they've built up to.
Clearly, the depth chart tells you that he needed more work as well.
But I think that's the same thing in New England.
Like, Romandre is doing nothing and fumbling.
And so Trevion may be awful because despite the fumbles,
they're still not giving him those chances.
But at this point, like, why would you not try?
Why would you have drafted the kid and not giving him the opportunity
to maybe see what he can do,
especially when you're in some of these situations
where you're playing with the lead?
Yeah.
It does right now feel like a second round pick.
They're not getting the most out of for sure.
Okay.
Well, I think it's time for the fantasy cops.
I've got to get my music queued up here.
Dan, what concert are you going to tonight?
My morning jacket at Brooklyn Paramount.
Okay, that'll be extremely boring rock.
Have fun.
That's the worst way to possibly describe that.
They rock the heck out.
And I have no idea where you came up with that terrible take from.
Extremely boring rock.
You want to hear extremely boring rock?
The guy you sent me to listen to.
Oh, you didn't like it?
That's extremely boring rock.
You didn't like Sam Fender?
Fine.
He's probably good.
I mean, he's good at music.
The writing was good.
That's extremely boring rock, though.
That's an example of extremely boring rock.
Wow, I'm so sorry to hear you say that.
Boy, I'm sorry to hear you say that about MMJ.
Don't you ever say that about that morning Jack.
I think it's just retribution for me.
It is just retribution.
I swear to God.
I barely listen.
I listen to one song.
It was pretty good.
But the fact that you called My Morning Jack at Boring Rock is crazy.
How bad.
You've never listened.
Have you listened to a song of them?
There's nothing genuine about you.
You just went on this, like, you just said San Fender's what you listen to one song.
You liked it.
Back that you just said there's nothing genuine about you is really disrespectful and it really hurt.
Actually hurtful in the term that I would use for that.
I'll wait to the email.
I'm going to read at the end of the show.
Okay.
Fantasy comps time.
This one is from the flea.
A trade was accepted where the last place manager was offered R.J. Harvey and Jackson Dart for Seekwan Barclay.
Our league has a veto period of one day and it requires eight votes.
out of 12.
But really, I mean, there's 12 teams in the league.
I don't know.
The teams in the trade voting?
I don't know.
Anyway, so the trade was R.J. Harvey and Jackson Dart
to the last place team for Sequan Barclay.
One day veto period requires eight votes.
The following day, the poll closed with only nine votes total,
and six of them were vetoes.
So they need to get to eight vetoes.
The manager who was set to receive Berkeley
began arguing that he should receive him
since the poll had closed
and there were not enough vetoes to vote
or they were not enough votes to veto.
The commissioner created a new poll
which outraged the manager.
I retorted and I said that the rule says
there's a one-day review
and not a 24-hour review.
And since clearly not everyone had seen the poll,
we should extend the vote
until everyone had a chance to see it
and it was only the next day.
Shortly after the drama unfolded,
the new poll had received
the eight votes required for the veto.
Did we get it right by creating the new poll
Or is the greedy Saquan hungry manager
Right by the letter of the law?
What say you fantasy cops?
I say everything is so wrong with this league.
The fact that matter is,
If it's a one quarterback league,
which I assume it is,
and someone just taking on Jackson Dart
and RJRU.
Oh, no, it's super flex.
Okay. Okay.
Yeah.
I'm a little more open to this.
And at first I was just going to go off on like how,
because this happens sometimes in leagues.
Like a last place team is either A, just like bullied into a trade, like, ah, you stanker in last place.
You got to change it up.
Let's just do this.
And he just doesn't care anymore.
And he just accepts a trade sign of a very uncompetitive league.
Or just like there's collusion, which is what I was thinking this would be if it was a one
quarterback league.
In a superflex, I don't think this is a collusion.
It's probably somebody who desperately needs a quarterback.
In which case, I stand by the manager who won Seekwan Barclay, who traded for Saquan Barkley.
Because A, the rules were, you have one day to veto it.
If it's not veto, that's it.
I don't believe in vetoes in the first place.
I didn't, I don't know if I explained this properly.
Okay.
So let's say the trade went through on a Monday.
They posted the poll and then they reposted another one later on Tuesday.
It was more than 24 hours since the original poll, but it was still the next day.
So the wording is confusing, you know, in this league.
It's a, it says you have a one-day veto period.
Does that mean 24 hours, or does that mean any time the following day?
Because within the first 24 hours, there were not enough votes to veto.
But after they posted the second poll, so it's more than 24 hours, but still one day later, you got enough votes to veto.
So that's the question here.
Jamie?
I was looking up in the news.
Sorry.
It's okay.
I say that the intent.
intent of the of the poll is to get everyone to vote for the veto and i'm fine with it being more
than 24 hours on the next day people hadn't seen the poll so when they actually all voted they
voted to veto however i think it's stupid that this trade is getting vetoed i agree with yeah it's very
stupid this trade is getting vetoed and it's a great example of why trade should never be vetoed yes we
we know i have to hammer that home because it's getting ridiculous with some of this stuff like
i agree it's just crazy
Either the players are colluding in your league or they're not.
And if they're not, let every trade go through.
And if they're not competitive to make fair trades, kick them out of the league.
It's very simple.
All right, I got another fantasy cops for you.
We'll do it after this break.
There's DeAndre Swift News.
What do we got?
So the reason he was added to the injury report was due to a groin issue.
And Ben Johnson said he was not injured in practice and added he's hopeful,
Swift will play Sunday.
The injury report will be this afternoon.
Hopeful.
All right, are we going to be picking up Kyle Monongai?
You should be.
Yeah.
Okay. Would he be in your top 24 if Swift were out?
I would start him over Ken Walker, yes. So he would be in my top 24.
All right. We'll be right back with another edition of the Fantasy Copps.

Fantasy cops from D. Harris.
This league started over 17 years ago,
has expanded from 10 teams to 12 teams
to two leagues of 12 teams
with relegation and promotion between the leagues.
Our commissioner, a man who takes this very seriously,
has put a ton of time and effort into getting things right.
We also have a partially rotating council
that meets in the summer to go over rule adjustments
that have been proposed by all league members,
throughout the season.
I like that.
I do like that a lot.
The issue.
We have a predetermined schedule
that we decided to go with
rather than just accepting
the random schedule from Sleeper or Yahoo.
Our commissioner manually goes in
before the season starts
and he updates the schedule.
But after week six had finished,
the commissioner noticed that he made a mistake
when setting the schedule.
Two matchups in our bottom league were flipped.
The council and the league-wide vote
both concluded that we should retro-referral
actively set the schedule to what it should have been before the season started.
The other main option proposed was to allow the matchups to stand and adjust a rivalry week
matchup later on in the year, so everyone still plays each other at least once.
Okay, the manager that went from a win to a loss because of this honest schedule mistake,
as you can imagine, hated this decision.
He relentlessly texted the commissioner and other council members pleading his case,
noting that even though the schedule was sent out before the season started,
managers tailor their strategy week to week,
like blocking waiver pickups,
playing a boom-bust player if you need the upside, trades, etc.
I think the correct decision was to revert the matchups
to the originally intended schedule and chalk it up to a rare mistake,
but part of me also sees where he's coming from.
What do you think?
Once it was set, you can't go back and change it.
Yeah, it's pretty messed up to change the schedule like that.
Is this how it's supposed to be, technically, according to the council and everyone involved?
But it's too late, right?
Like, it's too late to change.
I don't like the idea of changing the outcome of what's already happened.
Yep.
I agree.
I had this thought of mid-season changing a league from decimal scoring,
to decimal scoring from non-decimal scoring, right?
Because everybody likes decimal scoring.
but if I had done that
it may have changed the outcome of some games
you know
some matchups in the past
it would have changed records
right that was a little bit different right
because in this scenario
you do say well I knew I was playing this guy
so I changed my lineup accordingly
changing from decimal to not
from non to two decimal scoring
you don't really have that argument
but it still would have changed the outcomes of games
so I don't remember when that was
a couple years ago I was like I can't do it
midseason.
You can't do it midseason, but it's not a bad call.
Thank you very much for the fantasy cop submissions.
Again, send your emails to fantasy football at CBSI.com.
That is fantasy football at CBSI.com.
That is the letter I.
And you can put fantasy cops in the subject line or you can just ask your start.
I do love that.
That league is so dedicated that they spend that much time in the offseason thinking about it.
Oh, having a council?
That's yes.
Yes.
All right.
So Apple Podcast questions.
Okay.
this is from the Jinja Ninja.
I know the FFT team was high on R.J. Harvey and Trayvion Henderson.
Should we still be patient with them?
What do you think about their prospects for the season now?
We answered half of that.
But yeah, I guess we could do it again, Jamie.
Are we still patient with Harvey and Henderson?
If you can be, I mean, look, it's against a point where biweeks are a problem,
injuries are a problem, and you have to make some tough roster calls.
I know in one of my leagues is very competitive.
Everybody's, you know, smart managers.
somebody had to drop R.J. Harvey and, you know, pick up some wide receivers because these injuries.
And so I put in a claim for Harvey right away. Somebody else got him ahead of me.
I would love to stash RJ Harvey just to see what happens, especially knowing what J.K. Dobbins' injury history is.
Right.
It's been frustrating. In the case of Henderson, you know, same thing, frustrating that they're not giving him more work, especially with no Gibson there and now Romandre still not looking great.
But, you know, you got to hope that these are strong second half finish.
shares i still think there's potential for them both to to be in that uh in that realm but
it's it's tough so i get it if you have dropping jalen koker expected to play this week i think
can we agree that um henderson has a path to playing time that doesn't involve an injury
and harvey really doesn't yeah i wouldn't necessarily agree with that given the history of
josh mcdaniels as a coordinator well henderson's more valuable i was never
on Henderson for that reason. I was in on
Harvey and that was a mistake. Yeah, but if there's a
another fumble
and he's a fumble prone player too.
It's not like... When have we seen
McDaniels lean on one bad? I mean, occasionally
Josh Jacobs, that one year when he's about to be a free agent
and Corey Dillon back in the past, but that's
not a lot of examples of it.
All right. Next Apple podcast
question is from
Zogi. Will Trey
Benson eventually return as
an RB2 caliber fantasy
player?
I think there's a chance for it.
You know, we don't know when he's going to return, and it's not like there's a history of him being great.
You know, unfortunately, he did not get the chance last year when James Connor was banged up to prove it and clearly small sample size.
But, I mean, you look at the guys that he has to be better than.
And it's Michael Carter, who's clearly been a journeyman and a backup, and Bam Knight, been a journeyman and a backup.
And neither one has established themselves as a must-start player.
So the hope would be twofold, one, that Benson comes back and shows himself.
to be great for this year, but also for anybody has him in Dynasty, like James Connor's
probably done. I mean, you know, I know that game in the extension, but we're talking about
31 next year. Like, this could be their starting running back, and you hope to see him come back
and perform at a high level. As far as this year goes, the hope would be just Drew Petting has
pretty much designed a functional and effective run game since he got there in Arizona.
And people, we found success, bam, night was a startable player last week. So the upside is still there,
and it's a knee injury that he suffered instead of like, I like that better than like a high ankle,
because you come back from the high ankle.
A lot of times you're not the same.
Next one is from Boozer Cranes.
And he wants to know Brian Thomas Jr. or Mike Evans?
I'll go Evans.
Evans.
Next one is from Frankie P.
Standard scoring league.
Don't ask why.
Starting Metcalf on Thursday, I need another wide receiver.
Two running backs and a flex.
All right, so let's pick a wide receiver.
Nico or Brian Thomas Jr.?
Nico.
Nico.
And then let's pick two running backs.
running backs. Ashton Genti, Jacori Kroski, Merritt, Kamani Vidal.
Go, Janty.
And two? Oh, oh, sorry. Bill and Gentile.
Yeah, Bill still. Vidal actually looked pretty good on some outside runs last week, but it was probably the matchup.
And then you need a flex from Brian Thomas Jr. and Kamani Vidal.
I go Vidal. Non-PPR, by the way.
Oh, yeah, non-PPR.
Vidal and non-PPR.
Okay. And we can wrap on that one.
Did I read this one?
I don't think I read this one.
Okay. Last week I traded away Quentin Johnston and Daniel Jones for Jackson, Smith, and Jigba in a 14-team non-PPR league.
Grade the trade.
A plus-plus.
Assuming you have an option in a 14-team league at quarterback.
Yeah.
A. I just think it's maybe a situation where it's...
I mean, Daniel Jones has been very good for fantasy,
but probably not enough to,
you got to do that, it's J.SN.
He's one of the 10 best.
I would rather start Carson Wentz and J.S.N.
Yes, that's fair.
You could probably find someone a quarterback to get in.
And Dobbs or Ramandre Stevenson.
Dobbs.
And Joanne Jennings or Michael Carter or Hassan Haskins,
non-PPR.
I guess you could take a chance on Jennings
if Purdy starts, just based on their report.
poor, but I'd probably go Carter.
I think Carter's the safe for play.
Jennings is also playing through broken ribs, and it's just like...
I understand that take from Dave this morning.
What was it?
Oh, he likes Jennings better than...
He likes Jennings better than Bourne.
Wow.
I'm trying to find this funny email.
I think you'll appreciate this.
This is from Nick and St. Louis.
Okay.
And he says, I don't know if you'll appreciate it, but Jamie will.
He says, long-time listener,
your guys are the best and blah, blah, blah.
I started listening in 2012,
and my first piece of advice I solicited
was asking Nando if I should start
Beanie Wells or Ryan Broils
in a standard scoring league.
Nando said broils,
who went for 126 yards.
Beanie rushed for 48 yards
and had two touchdowns.
I went with broils
and I lost by less than a point.
Ultimately, that loss kept me out of the playoffs.
In a year, I was the highest scoring team in the league.
I think Nando was right, though, with the take.
No, I don't think so.
The 126 is more impressive.
Obviously, you get unlucky with the touchdowns, but...
Yeah, he was right with the take.
And then he even attached a screenshot of the tweet of Nando telling him...
That's so cool.
Oh, I think you should go with the Royals.
That's so funny, man.
That's great stuff.
Good trip down memory.
He technically wasn't right with the take.
I want to make that clear, but the process.
Yes, the problem.
Right, exactly.
All right.
Thank you for your Spotify questions.
want to grow our audience on Spotify, so tell your friends.
Here's a question from Jackson Min.
I keep hearing debates about whether Drake London is as good with Mooney in.
Are there stats to back up either side?
I could see Mooney taking targets or opening up the field.
Is the sample size with Michael Pennix specifically too small?
So you have week 18 last year.
You have week six this year.
You have week one this year.
I don't think it was great,
but I think he's still targets for there.
There's probably about five games,
if I can recall top of my head.
But he just gets Uber targeted and makes sense.
So that's why he's my number one receiver this week as of now.
Here's the numbers.
I don't, you have the numbers with all three in?
Yeah.
So his target,
Drake London's target per outrun rate has been 19%,
16.7% and 41.7%
with Darno Mooney on the field
in three games with Mooney.
With him off the field,
it's been 38.5, 40%,
35.7%, and 51.6%.
So with Mooney off the field,
Drake London is the most targeted wide receiver
on a per out basis in fantasy.
With him on the field,
two of three games, it's been concerning.
It feels like a coincidence to me, but those are the numbers.
I mean, the numbers suggest that what he's saying is true.
Like London isn't as good of a play with Mooney on the field, but the eye test doesn't suggest that.
Like when you watch this Falcon's offense, you see an offense that's hyper-targeting the first read for the quarterback.
And the first read is almost always Drake London in this offense.
And that's kind of the pet book on Pennix right now, in my mind, at least.
I'm watching him from watching him play.
So ultimately, I would say Drake London is going to continue to be what Jamie said,
one of the best receivers in fantasy.
From Omar, grade the trade.
I'm weak at receiver.
I traded away Quinn Sean Judkins and my number two quarterback, Drake May,
for J.K. Dobbins and A.J. Brown.
Jenkins and my second quarterback, who's May.
But his second, I think this is a good trade.
If he hasn't, if he has enough quarter, like if he has a, I'm assuming this is like somebody
with Josh Allen or Lamar or something, you're giving up a player you're never going to use
in May and Judkins and getting Dobbins and Brown.
I mean, you guys, I assume I'm the low man on Judkins, which is probably why I feel this way.
Don't love it, but I think it's benefiting both teams because you're getting a good enough
Judkins replacement and you're hopefully getting a starting quarterback who's got easily
top 10 upside, maybe top five upside rest of season, and you're giving that other manager,
I would view it as an upgrade at running back.
Okay, this is from Felix.
I can't, I, Adam, can you imitate Sean Connery as Gandalf in Lord of the Ring saying,
I want to hear this, go ahead.
You shall not pass.
I don't think I, because you can do it.
You're best.
I, you shall not passed would be the, I, it's not really, I feel like he kind of,
That sounds like Gandalf to begin with.
That wasn't as bad as I thought that was going to be.
Not terrible.
Your bane is still your best.
I can't do my bane anymore.
You lost the ability to do an impression.
How's that even possible?
I lost the ability to do a lot of impressions.
Yesterday I was watching South Park.
I did a little Mr. Mackey, okay?
It's like that's okay.
I mean, that's an easy one to do.
It's not your best.
That was bad, okay?
You can do a good impression of a host who got through a show at an hour.
I've never done that.
I've never done that impression.
From David, Hampton was called the sell high because of the Chargers O-line.
Now Kamani Vidal is a must start.
No, Vidal is as good of a sell high as you'll ever find.
I mean, we don't know when the window is of Marian Hampton coming back,
depending on how long after the four weeks are up that he's eligible to return.
But look, he just had his best game.
It was against the dolphins.
Wouldn't shock me if he poops to bed at some point, even this week against the Colts.
and then we hear again that the chargers are in the market for a running back.
So sell him now if you can because his value is as high as it could possibly be.
They are getting Joe Altback.
That's going to help the Chargers offense line.
Are they getting him back this week?
I don't know this week, but the fact that he was practicing this week is a great sign.
It is big.
And I don't remember calling Hampton a sell high.
I mean, I think.
I don't know if we were.
I think you certainly heard those things being said because the first two weeks,
he couldn't do anything, and the line kept falling apart.
Okay.
and I think we have one
Oh, we have a couple more
From Dalto, grade the trade
I get Hunter Henry
Nope, I get Derek Henry
I give Jordan Mason and Trayvion Henderson
It's a B plus
I think you're
I mean Aaron Jones
expected to return
so that's going to be a problem
for Jordan Mason in some capacity
and Trevion Henderson yet to do anything
so Derek Henry with Lamar Jackson back
should be good
I'm going A to A plus
but this is the perfect
exact type of trade
I would be looking to do.
I wish I could do a trade like this.
Mason, Aaron Jones is coming back, Gravianne Anderson, whatever.
And then I get Derek Henry with Lamar coming back and an easy schedule on the way.
I love this trade.
It'd be nice if you looked at your trade offers because I sent you a trade offer like
three weeks ago.
I think I saw that bad, really bad trade offer a couple days ago sitting in my inbox.
It wasn't two days ago because I rescinded it last week.
So it was giving you, this is when you lost Lamar Jackson.
Yeah, this horrible trade.
It wasn't a horrible trade.
It was giving you, Lamar, it was giving you Drake May and George Kittle for, I forget it was.
Good.
It was a lot of good players.
Let's go take a look at that.
First of all, I had Burrow, I mean, I'm sorry, Herbert as my backup.
So very minimal.
You didn't have Herbert.
You had Donald.
Who, Donald, fine.
Doesn't matter.
I mean, Lamar's back next week.
So which league is the auction league?
I'm going to look at this right now and tell you what you wanted for those two players.
I get Kittle who actually like, and then now that I'm seeing, now I'm here.
Hearing that, I'm kind of disappointed in Get Kiddle.
Had no interest in the quarterback, Drake May, when I have Lamar Jackson coming back.
What did you want here?
Like Rishi, probably wanted like Romo Dunesay and Pickens or like Romo Dunesay and James Cook, I think it was?
No.
Yes, it was.
It was, it was, I think it might have been O'Donzee, but it wasn't, it wasn't both of them.
I wasn't going to be greedy like that.
I'm not stupid.
I'm not saying.
No, you wanted a second, was it Rice?
Was it Rishie Rice?
No.
Okay.
I thought you wanted two good players for those two, which is not a job.
trade for you?
You're saying that Jamie shouldn't want two good players when he's giving up
Drake May and George Hill?
I'm not saying that, Adam.
I'm saying if I have Lamar Jackson on my team, why am I taking on Drake Matt?
Because he sent it three weeks ago when Lamar Jackson was injured.
It was six days ago when I tried.
No, it was not.
It was absolutely, I rescind it.
It was like October 6th was the trade.
Oh, man.
Michael says, pick two, Jalen Warren, Keenan Allen, Brees Hall.
Well, hopefully he started Jalen Warren.
an hour
or Brees Hall?
Brief.
Yeah,
hopefully you started Warren.
Breece Hall for sure.
All right.
You two.
Let's make it happen.
This, okay, I got a text today
saying the same exact thing.
Am I the last one to point out
that Adam and Joe Flacco could be brothers?
They do look a lot of like.
Yep.
And then...
They look a lot of like.
What was the thing you were going to tell me about
you mentioned earlier in the show?
Like I got bashed in an email or something.
I was going to say that to the very end.
But Brian on YouTube says,
can we all acknowledge that Dan's correct
doppelganger is Kit Harry
Arrington?
Oh, that's not.
Do you think I look like Kit Arrington?
Are you out of your mind?
Maybe like the, uh, the, uh, the D minus version of Kit Harrington, sure.
Well, he's Jason Alexander.
No, that is also disrespectful and untrue.
Jason Alexander was never in this kind of shape.
Oh, young Jason Alexander, very handsome guy.
Not in this kind of shape at any point.
He's always a round man.
I'm never been round in my life.
Yeah.
Um, Adam's having great hair.
Thank you. Actually, yeah, it's a good haircut I got.
Tetaroa McMillan, Marvin Harrison, Jr., Mason, Dowdell, Vidal, pick three.
I'm going to go all three running backs.
We don't know if this is PPR or not, I guess.
No, I don't know.
Assuming it's standard, I can go with the three running backs and be okay with that.
In any version of PPR, I want to get Tet in there, and I would take out Dowdell.
I really don't want Teterola McMillan this week.
same
yeah but
I like what I've seen from him
I understand the matchup's not great
if Marvin Harrison Jr. plays
I'm definitely starting him over McMillan
I would
have we talked about
a potential Bill and Tet
team name
like Bill and Tet's
excellent adventure kind of thing
no I don't think we have
remember he doesn't want to be called Ted
that's true
how do you have you been checking
on the Bijon
Bijan saga
I'm back to Bijan
Well he said it's all right
Go back to Bijan
But then I'm doing it
But then I saw a commercial with him
On Prime last night watching the game
And he said BJA
And they said or he said Bijan
So I don't
At this point I'm just at a loss
Camara Kamara
How do you view Stefan Diggs rest of season
So
Borderline number two
Number 3 receiver
Depending on the matchups
And how he's looked
Coming off the previous week
We'll probably determine
and how you feel about him.
So there are going to be people that are down on him this week
because he struggled, and then he'll play well.
And then he'll be in a lot of Lions looks week,
and then he'll struggle.
I think until we start to get consistent targets,
this just feels like one of those offenses that's going to be
a lot of fluid motion and different guys on a different week
stepping up until maybe they make a trade.
It's a spread-it-around offense for sure,
but Diggs, I mean, didn't have as bad of a week as people thought he had last week.
He had a massive play called back by a BS.
penalty.
It's true.
It would have changed everyone's opinion of his week.
He only played like 50, some percent of the snaps.
They also didn't really need him to play a lot in that specific game.
They were in a pretty competitive game.
Yeah, for a little while.
No, the 55% of the snaps thing is the big issue with Stefan Diggs, but he was at 80% of the
routes, I think the week before.
I mentioned that the Saints who he played last week have been really good against
slot receivers this year.
That might be a strength of theirs.
And also I mentioned that Jacob was promoting Ryan Heath's research about
first down per target rate
and Stefan Diggs is one guy
who excelled there last year
and this year. He gets a lot of first downs
and that apparently is pretty
fairly predictive of good fans.
Let me address this one real quick.
It'll take two seconds.
He said Mugsy's Leber says
1971 birthers are greater than others.
There are some 72s that are just as good
if not better.
All right, read the Danny Milk's I gotta go.
All right, we'll go back to YouTube
and some might understand that.
All right, this is an email from
Jimmy Hayward.
from Annapolis.
He said,
long-time listener,
first-time ranter.
I need to talk to you about something
that happened on fantasy football today,
something that has left me
spiritually concussed.
So there I am.
Spiritually concuss is amazing.
This guy better be a writer.
There I am, 4 a.m. folding laundry
like a responsible adult,
listening to you,
Jamie Eisenberg, and Dan,
who even is this guy in my earbuds?
Things are fine,
football talk,
rankings, sleepers, and then, then you dip into one of your signature dad-pun detours,
casually tossing out Crosby Stills, Nash, and Young.
And what happens?
Dan Hoosie-Wazzy over there says, what's that?
I swear to you, Adam, a small mushroom cloud formed inside by skull.
For seven soul-scorching minutes, I listened as this man, this alleged adult human,
tried to convince your entire audience that he, quote, knows the songs, just not the bands.
Meanwhile, my brain is melting faster than a frosty in Phoenix.
It felt like I was watching an alternate ending of Braveheart where mid disembowelment,
the executioners suddenly panic and try to shove all of William Wallace's organs back in and patch him up with duct tape.
Pure chaotic futility.
That was my brain, Adam.
That was me.
But it doesn't stop there.
No, no, no.
Captain Culture Shock decides to double down and casually mentions,
with a straight face that the Beatles are overrated.
Overrated because you see, quote,
they don't have guitar solos like the Stones, end quote.
It's not just solos.
You also mentioned the drums.
Their drummers not anywhere near the level
of the best drummers in the world.
All right, Adam, my soul briefly left my body.
I saw the light.
It was flickering to the beat of Hey Jude.
And here's what kills me.
This man is no stranger to passion.
He's the Michelangelo of Mouthfield,
the Da Vinci of Delhi Meets.
He will lecture the world on sandwich composition, pairing, and texture balance
like he's defending his dissertation at the Culinary Institute of America.
He's the kind of guy who'd slap a man across the face with a leather glove
for disrespecting a pastrami on rye.
So explain to me, Adam.
How does a man capable of such reverence for food turn around and desecrate classic rock,
the most universally loved unifying, recognizable genre of music in human history?
How do you preach the gospel of proper sandwich respect?
while simultaneously declaring that the Beatles are just okay.
I didn't say just okay.
And when the universe hands him...
Oh, actually, this part, he got wrong.
My brain had liquefied completely.
The only thing left was the faint hum of let it be in the distance
and the soft rustle of unfolded laundry.
Hey, Dan, you know it actually goes great on a frosty?
You can try this at home.
Egg salad that's been sitting in the glove compartment
of a hot car with black interior.
Just trust me on this.
I wonder if there's any microplastics in that,
but great email well said look my take on the beetles is not that they're bad or just okay they're
amazing i just don't view them as one of the best bands of all time personally as far as skill
skill know they're one of the best writers of all time great at melodies and that type of stuff
more so on that lines a one of the best actual rock bands i'll say more along the lines of like
just below that elite tier still great just not quite there and has something to do with guitar solos
It has to do with everything combined.
With that said, I think I need to go watch Braveheart after this.
It's my favorite movie ever, so.
You've never seen Braveheart?
No.
I knew you hadn't seen it.
I spoiled it for you anyway.
I don't care.
It's okay.
It's my fault for not having watched it.
It's way too old of a movie.
I don't believe in spoilers this late after the fact.
Mervyn wants to know who's a better stash.
Bejel Tootin or Emmanuel Wilson?
Tudin.
Tudin.
The worst thing that guy said was in that email.
is that he called me an adult.
Alleged adult, alleged.
Now, who's alleging?
Yeah, Ringo, not a skilled drummer,
bizarrely bad take.
No, not at all.
Go look into it.
I don't know anything about the drums,
but he is a revered drummer.
Like, you were just wrong.
He's a very, if he's a revered drummer,
then it's very overrated.
Like, listen to him and listen to Bonham.
They're not even, like, in the same.
But they're different era.
Like, the Beatles started before these bands.
They influenced these bands.
The beat.
You're just crazy.
Herbert, no, it's crazy to compare those two to me, like, or like Neil Perrick.
All right.
Daniel Jones.
Greatest drummers of all time.
Here we go.
Ringo should not be on it.
John Bottom, Keith Moon, Neil Pert, Stuart Copeland, Buddy Rich, Ginger Baker, Ringo Star.
Yep.
Yeah, that's way down the list and that's still overrated at that point.
I only know like four of those names, by the way.
Herbert or Daniel Jones and Scataboo or Xavier Worthy?
Uh, Herbert and Scatibu.
That is what I do.
Scatibu for sure in that one.
And then I'll go, I'll go Jones.
I'll go Jones.
Rico Dowdell or Jerry Judy, PPR?
Dowdle.
Even in PPR.
Rico.
Beatles are definitely overrated from King Murmur.
Listen, the best Beatles songs are not the big hits necessary.
I mean, some of them are.
The beagles are great.
I listen to them.
I have tons of stuff on my Spotify and my like.
It's very enjoyable music.
I just don't think it's the best band of all time.
That's what the take originates from.
People say it's the best band of all time.
I don't believe that.
Or at least not the most skill.
They might be the best.
I don't know what makes sense.
No, they're so incredibly skilled.
But here's the flex in standard scoring.
Golden, Marks, Coker, Atwell, Iommanner.
Golden Marks, Coker, Atwell, Iommanner.
I would go with.
That's another guy we haven't talked about,
his injury replacement, his Iowa Manor.
He might be the top of the list, to be honest with you.
Golden for me.
Golden has the most upside.
Jalen Hertz or Caleb Williams?
Caleb.
Yeah, Caleb is fine.
Dan doesn't know the intricacy of drumming.
He's right.
I do not know the intricacies of drumming.
Johnny Airport.
I'm just going by what sounds better.
And I don't know.
It sounds a lot better listening to Dwayne Allman play the guitar than anyone on the Beatles.
Listen to Andrew Bird can sing, man.
It's amazing.
Diggs, Sutton, or McMillan?
Sutton.
This is a funny one.
Where's, uh, oh, yeah, we'll end with this.
My morning jacket is greater than the Beatles.
I honestly like them better, so yeah.
You can like them better, but they are.
They're not better.
They're obviously not a better band.
We're out of here.
I want to be clear on.
Okay.
Thank you all very much for your time today.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
We'll talk to you Sunday morning.
8.30 a.m. live stream.
And then again, it didn't take it anymore.
He's had enough.
I know.
He said he had to go at 115.
Okay.
Respect.
But also, he couldn't take it anymore and had enough.
I get it.
I'm a lot to deal with.
No, he hated the microplastic stock.
The microplastic stock was originated by you, but I had a little bit of a hot take on.
I just needed to get some tape.
Like, we're all worried about everything in life.
When, like, reality is you can't worry about all these little things.
They're all happening at the same time anyway.
way. And we'll find medicine for it. Later in the future,
the developments in medicine to fix the microplastics in our body. Don't worry.
I hope you're right. All right, folks. We'll talk to you on Sunday on Fantasy Football.
We'll talk to you on Fantasy Football.
Their bodies are the scene of the crime.
Their symptoms in history are clues.
You saved her life.
We're doctors and with detectives.
I kind of love it if I'm being honest.
Solve the puzzle. Save the patient.
