Can you believe this? It's a no idea. It's time to dominate your fantasy league. Off to the races, and he stays on his feet.
Starting point is 00:01:13 It's just going to go the distance. Now here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie, and Heath. Well, hello, everybody. It is failed. Oh, now I screwed that up. It's not it is. It's fail bag time. The three best words in fantasy.
Starting point is 00:01:30 fantasy football. We welcome you to fantasy football today, presented by BetMGM, Make It Legendary. If you're watching on Friday, happy Halloween. Dan Schneier strikes me as someone who absolutely hates Halloween. I don't hate Halloween by any means. I don't dress up for Halloween anymore, but I don't hate it. You should dress up, but what would I dress up as? I could dress up as you. You should. I've been working on the side. It's not going to happen this episode. I didn't have time for it. But I am working on. It's a multi-week. process apparently my atomizer impression so for a later mailbag to come my prediction is a toothpick factory oh yeah very nice they took me on a personalized tour i uh you know they said we really like your work and we want to give you this personalized tour but when you go back we got a couple words that we need you to share with one jami eisenberg with me yeah yeah yeah you were one of the
Starting point is 00:02:24 biggest haters when it came to you know leaving the picks in the sandwich oh oh that yeah that's stupid Jamie, how are you? I'm good. I see a lot of people asking about Dan's nose strip. What was that? You know what? Here's the deal. I got a lot of issues when it comes to breathing.
Starting point is 00:02:41 As you can probably hear, the allergies that are coming out, can barely breathe. And that thing helped me breathe. So I said, you know what, let me try to wear it for one show and see how it goes. Can I talk better? You know, is it a situation where you'll work your way through the show and you'll be a better analyst and a better podcaster? I felt like it helped, but. There's just way too much.
Starting point is 00:03:02 Aesthetically, it's just not the look we're going for. Oh my gosh. If you're not watching, man, what a picture. The screenshot is says it all for those on YouTube. I've worn this thing out. This is not the first time. I don't care. I'm not, I'm shameless.
Starting point is 00:03:20 I'll be wearing it to golf. It helps me go. I'm not shameless with this. I'll bring it in public again. Oh, man. All right. Well, we. You don't want to just hook up the apnea machine and just walk around?
Starting point is 00:03:29 What that? Yeah, we'll bring the CPAT machine with you. Good idea. I found out I have a fully deviated septum and only getting like 30% of the other side. Basically, I'm just living life without breathing. And you put that thing on and it's like you're in a whole new world. It opens up everything. It's unreal.
Starting point is 00:03:47 In some ways, I'm addicted to it now. I support this. I support this. Dan, what do you think before we get into the show? What do you think about my little screen name today? Agon Tarscarian. Egon. Is that a dad joke?
Starting point is 00:04:01 Egon Tarscarian. Because you said Egon Targaryen. No, it's Egon. It's never been Egon. Man, the joke, someone sent in the Ghostbusters. There's a dear Egon, Peter. And you said, oh, is that Egon Targary? Is this Game of Thrones?
Starting point is 00:04:14 I remember that. I remember. That's Jamie's favorite joke. Well, it's been replaced. It's been replaced by many over the years. But, yeah, another good dad joke by you. Jamie, yeah. Your favorite.
Starting point is 00:04:26 Your favorite show? Oh, no. What is that shirt you're wearing? Where did you find that? It's hard to see, but... It's so hard to see, but I can kind of still see. I think he's wearing a wear shirt. Yes, he is.
Starting point is 00:04:40 Okay, news and notes. Travis Hunter is on IR. He is out at least four games, and, you know, could be more than that. We haven't gotten word on the severity. But, Jamie, what's your reaction to this? He's going to miss games against the Raiders, Texans, Chargers, and Cardinals.
Starting point is 00:04:55 He may miss more than that. because it was apparently a non-contact injury in practice. So this could be season ending by the time we find out next week. So, I mean, hold him for now. You know, if you have an IR spot, stash him an IR, it's just it sucks, you know, because the last time we saw him, he was awesome, you know, 100 yards and a touchdown, 14 targets. And we got word that there was going to be, you know,
Starting point is 00:05:15 a big second half coming for him. So now it's all Brian Thomas Jr. You know, this is what we had last year, right? Coming off the by week, we had Evan Ingram out. We had Christian Kirk out. He was the featured guy, Bob. far. And now's your time. So, you know, I, I'm hopeful for him. In the interim, you pick up Parker Washington. I would not be surprised. Jacksonville's four and three. They're sitting in, you know,
Starting point is 00:05:36 playoff contention right now. They could be aggressive in trying to acquire a wide receiver because they definitely need to help with or without Hunter, but certainly now without him. So this is, you know, something to keep an eye on for sure in Jacksonville. I think Parker, Washington will quickly work his way onto our fantasy radar. That's probably my biggest takeaway from it. Just given what we've seen from Brian Thomas Jr. on tape this year, the injuries he's playing through. I'm not very hopeful on that front, regardless if he's coming out of the by or not. For me personally, we just wasted time. Jacob and I spending hours in the last like three or four podcasts breaking down the Hunter upside. I don't know if anyone can really fit into what we were
Starting point is 00:06:12 projecting he could be second half season, including Brian Thomas Jr. They're just different players and different roles. But maybe what Jamie said is true. Brian Thomas comes out motivated from the by week healthier and we could see some of what we saw last year though again most of what we saw last year at least the best of brian thomas was mac jones yeah look here's the thing about brian thomas junior it's not like travis hunter has been a huge part of this offense to begin with and brian thomas junior has struggled now it's obviously better for brian thomas junior than potentially you know seating the number one wide receiver role to travis hunter which was on the table so it's obviously you know good for his value but um he's wearing the
Starting point is 00:06:52 his shoulder harness now. It's, you know, he's not even healthy. So I'm not sure. I mean, we were talking about him Wednesday, Jamie,
Starting point is 00:07:00 as a, as a number two receiver. Is that still how you view Brian Thomas Jr. rest of season? Yeah, I mean, you can't view him
Starting point is 00:07:07 as number one guy, you know, until he starts to play like it. Actually, we were more like number two, three kind of receiver. Look, he gets an uptick. You can't take away a guy
Starting point is 00:07:15 that just had 14 targets and 20 plus targets in his last two games and say this doesn't help his situation, whether he takes advantage of it is going to be up to him, the offense, and the quarterback. So I'm hopeful, you know, I mean, look,
Starting point is 00:07:29 I have Brian Thomas in several leagues. I certainly wasn't, you know, going to get rid of him for nothing. At this point, you know, in a couple of leagues, like he's not a must-start guy yet, but he has the ability to get there. Their schedule coming up is brutal. So it's also part of that as well.
Starting point is 00:07:47 But this is the chance for him to get into, you know back into our good graces prove that he can be that alpha receiver for the jaguars and hopefully that's what happens i mean look we drafted this kid second round pick at the at the latest and he's been a bust okay all right other news items got just some like offensive line defensive stuff uh detroit left tackle taylor decker expected to play and cornerback terran arnold could play but kirby joseph their safety is likely out against minnesota buffalo safety taylor rap is out for this season, and both starting defensive tackles are out this week against the Chiefs.
Starting point is 00:08:23 Pittsburgh safety to Sean Elliott is on IR. Three Giants, cornerbacks are likely out. Dalton Schultz practice. He got back to practice today for the game against Denver. Cincinnati defense event, Trey Hendrickson is not practicing. Sunday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Eastern, be here. YouTube.com slash
Starting point is 00:08:39 fantasy football today. We'll be answering your start or sit questions. No, Ramandre Stevenson again. Oh, wow. Ooh, okay. Prepare to start, Mr. Mr. Henderson now. Dan, how you feel about me?
Starting point is 00:08:55 Not no, not confidently, not confidently. How do you feel about that? About Trayvian Henderson? Yeah, if Ramandre, we're out. I mean, of course, worth starting. It's not somebody I'm going to leave on my bench at that point, but I'm not going to be too hopeful about it. I'm sure the Patriots will find some other back that we haven't seen all season.
Starting point is 00:09:14 That will take some touches. You view him as a low end number two running back high inflex. He's in the same conversation, whether you like him, more or less. We can debate that of Bam Knight and Kareem Hunt and Woody Marks and the Seattle guys. I think Rico Dowdle for this week alone just because of who he's facing in Green Bay. So that 20 to 28 range of running backs, I would start him over the Titans guys. I would start him over the Vikings guys. I would start him over Alvin Camara this week, just given his situation, how he's performed and what his matchup is.
Starting point is 00:09:49 Like, there's going to be somebody else. There's, as Dan said, you know, there's going to be somebody else that's going to take touches and may be better than Trayman Harris. You have to brace for that possibility. He has obviously struggled and they don't trust him fully. But this is what we've been waiting for. We've been waiting for a chance for him to get featured. We thought it might happen when Gibson got hurt. We thought it might happen with 85 fumbles for Amandre Stevenson.
Starting point is 00:10:09 They have not trusted him yet. They may not have a choice. Yeah. Charles Jennings would be maybe, if you're desperate. Dave mentioned that on the show. Yeah. Okay. And let's get to some YouTube comments.
Starting point is 00:10:21 Folks, what do we got here? Adam, the type of dude to hate pumpkin spice goodies just to be different. Yes, pumpkin flavor is gross. Pumpkin pie is gross. No, it's not. Yes, it is gross. Pumpkin pie is unfolding. If you were to slice a pumpkin pie, sorry, Jamie, let's get the real.
Starting point is 00:10:40 I want to let Jamie get the analysis and then I'll bash you. Go ahead. Two quarterback news. Joe Flacco stopped short according to Ian reports of saying he's playing. he wants to see how he throws first but expect it to be to play and jane daniels officially back oh flacco's gonna play okay great i feel like i actually kind of agree with this take that you just are hating on pumpkin spice things just to hate no i just too many puts a pump a slice of pumpkin pie in front of you you'll eat that and you're not going to be oh this is gross like it's actually
Starting point is 00:11:06 just tasty and you know it tastes good uh no yeah yeah yeah yeah i'm having a i don't really like pumpkin spice i'm just going to be honest i've had it i i don't know that i really ever had pumpkin pie until a couple of years ago, not even, because it was in this house that I'm living, that I've been in this house for two years. So it was on the air I was eating pumpkin pie. It was one of those Thursday night or Tuesday night before, it was like a, it was a live stream, it wasn't a podcast.
Starting point is 00:11:32 And I was eating, I was like, this is awful. I'm not enjoying this at all. Pumpkin pie? Yeah, pumpkin pie sucks. Fantastic. Yeah, I don't understand this. It's good. I'm not even a pumpkin spice guy, but it's good.
Starting point is 00:11:43 Like, it's just basically cinnamon and nutmeg. Who doesn't like that? Tyrone Tracy or. Bam Knight. Tracy. Tracy, yeah. Would you trade away Devante, Adams, and Kamani Vidal for Barclay and Bigsby? At six and two, it seems like you have, I guess you have the wide receiver of depth to consider this.
Starting point is 00:12:08 I mean, the short term for Vidal, we don't know, right? It could be another two weeks. It could be another four weeks for one hand. is out okay i guess if you if you really believe in in barclay you make the trade yeah i think i do it trade sutton and bouchard smith for nico collins sutton and breschard smith for nico collins no wow it's a no for you is it essentially you feel that breschard's going to take a bigger role now is that the is that the key catalyst here you feel better than nico this so far he has so far yeah I think you just, you know, I don't want to say it's a wash, but like, we don't know how long
Starting point is 00:12:50 Pacheco is going to be out. Like Smith could take a huge step forward. True. Yeah. I'm close on it. I'm not sure. I'm just curious what the point differential is between Sutton and Nico. Sutton's at third.
Starting point is 00:13:03 Disappointing too. 13.6 and 13.1. Sutton's been a half point better in full PPR. And that's probably at like the lowest possible outcome of what Nico can be. Right. Most of the time this Texans often. been dysfunctional completely. Maybe now they're finding something
Starting point is 00:13:20 a way to function. I agree. Pumpkin, anything is gross. Thank you. Again, pumpkin's not great or anything. I'm just saying a pumpkin piece of, a slice of pumpkin pie is not bad.
Starting point is 00:13:30 If you put it in front of Adam, he'll eat it. No, it's gross. I will. Right, I won't eat it anymore. Cup, Spears, Blake Corum, pick two. I mean, we don't know if Cup is playing.
Starting point is 00:13:43 Yeah. Spears is my favorite. of this trio. I don't mind quorum in a desperate situation, which clearly you are, because they're probably going to blow out the Saints. And the last time we saw this was in week seven, he had 12 carries in a catch.
Starting point is 00:13:59 So if you tell me he's getting 13, 12, to 15 total touches, I would take quorum, but cup is probably the safer bet. What was this? What's going on in the comments with the candy corn? Are you just like a big candy corn? Adam likes. No, I said there's a,
Starting point is 00:14:15 There's one brand of candy corn that's not bad. Brax? I don't even know. It's called Invisible. Yeah, I'm with Jamie. I think it's one of the most disgusting things ever created, but I got headaches. Let me ask this question.
Starting point is 00:14:28 You're going to take your kids' trick-or-chaining night, right? And you're going to walk around, and there's going to be, you know, every house, every neighbor has this, you know, the house just leaves the bowl candy out or they just give you the bowl, you know, when they open the door. Yeah. And, oh, take what you want. And so you're going to sift through there is going to be all like the fun stuff, M&Ms, you know, whatever.
Starting point is 00:14:44 And you're going to go, oh, can't. Candy corn. You're going to take it? Yeah, I'd take it. I have no problem. No, I would not over the ones that, not over the ones you just said. No, no chance. Oh, you're saying if it's the only thing there.
Starting point is 00:14:57 All right. So, best piece of pumpkin pie in the world. And your favorite brand of candy corn, you're taking candy. Oh, my gosh. There's no such thing as the best piece of pumpkin pie. It's like being. Well, yes, my wife makes amazing pumpkin pie. No.
Starting point is 00:15:10 Pie is not bad by any means. It's not like the best version of pie. It wouldn't be in my top 10. But it's clearly better. and candy corn. Candy corn is disgusting fake sugar. You were about to say something else?
Starting point is 00:15:22 All right, all right. I wasn't. I wasn't. Romeo Dobbs or Joanne Jennings? I go Jennings. I'll go Dobbs and that. I trust Dobbs a lot from watching the Packers. Would you drop Kendrick Bourne for Parker Washington?
Starting point is 00:15:37 Yes. Let me ask you a quick trick-or-tree question. I saw a video of one of those video, people who leave the bowlouts, like take one, please, and the kid is just like dumping the whole thing in. Do you have a conversation with your kids beforehand, or do you just assume that you've raised them good enough that they won't be those types of people?
Starting point is 00:15:56 I raise them well enough. Well enough, sorry. So if I'm with them and, you know, we see that there's the bull candy out, I make sure to tell them, just take one, and that's it. Okay, so you do mention it. If they're alone, so, you know, I have a 13-year-old now, if he's going to be that jerk that goes and dumps the whole thing into his bag, I'll know when he gets home because I have a pretty good idea of where he's going to go.
Starting point is 00:16:20 Don't have a conversation. Like, don't be rude to your neighbors. Yeah, that's pretty bad. Yeah, you can't do it. All right, let's take a break and we will talk about, we'll read your emails. We'll read your emails when we come back on fantasy football today. Starting point is 00:17:00 Comicsonterio.ca. Check out the big stars, big series, and blockbuster movies. Streaming on Paramount Plus. Cue the music. Like NCIS, Tony and Ziva. make up our own rules. Tulsa King. We want to take out the competition.
Starting point is 00:17:19 The substance. This balance is not working. And the naked gun. That was awesome. Now that's a mountain of entertainment. Paramoose. Apologies if I was a little distracted earlier. I was actually adding Parker Washington in a few leagues.
Starting point is 00:17:37 So now I'm ready to go. You know who's the number one of that? I'm never there's an injury that leads to like a new job or a new role every time I go to our CBS leagues which come after some of my my home leagues and stuff it's always Jamie Eisenberg rosters this player Jamie I roster trade you have to click like instead of ad it's like oh trade to Jamie just finds a way to just snap up all those players yeah he's good at that okay I gotta be faster email from Chris subject line oh our email address is fantasy football at CBSI.com you can also leave us a five star apple podcast review and leave a question there you can ask us a question in a Spotify comment and boost our Spotify rating please you can yeah that's about it and we have your YouTube comments at the end of the show as well
Starting point is 00:18:25 all right Chris the subject was quote seize the fewest pass attempts end quote can you guys expand on what this means why it happens and how it can be informative and yes I do say that a lot like for example I said the the Vikings see the second fewest pass attempts in the NFL the Falcons see the
Starting point is 00:18:44 fewest. The bills see the third fewest. The dolphins see the fourth fewest. On the other hand, the Seahawks, Packers, Steelers, Colts, Cardinals, they see the most past attempts. So I usually try to go through and say like, why is this happening? Is it just a fluke? So let me see if I have any notes on. Yeah, because those teams don't even add up. But like I would think like, oh, some of those teams like the dolphins, well, guess what? Dolphins are down multiple scores every game. Seems they're running on them. But there's also the bills in there. yeah the bills i'm not quite sure with the situation with the bills it could be they face run heavy teams or whatever um but the dolphins you know i kind of got poo poohed when i
Starting point is 00:19:21 brought it up but i think they give up the fewest fantasy points to wide receivers because they also see the fewest or the second fewest target wide receiver targets we had a game where lamar jackson through 23 passes so it was it a big surprise that zay flowers was just okay yesterday no i don't think it was and um yeah i think i do you think it's important? I always try to see like, is there a reason why this team is seeing the few his past attempts? Do they have a really bad run defense? Sometimes teams that have terrible
Starting point is 00:19:48 run defenses are actually good against wide receivers simply because of low target volume. So that's the kind of stuff I look at Chris and But it's also, I mean, you got to take into account who they played too, right? Of course. You had matchups. You had a Bryce Young game, you had a Kirk Cousins game.
Starting point is 00:20:04 You know, you had some quarterbacks that obviously just don't have that. I think like where this comes in the play is when a team like the Packers or the Seahawks is playing a team like the Dolphins. So a quarterback or a system that's just not throwing the ball very much versus a team that's not seeing a lot of passing attack. Like, that's awful. Sure.
Starting point is 00:20:23 And last week we talked about how the Packers and the Steelers, they faced each other, and they, going into that game, we're seeing the most past attempts in the NFL. And now they're second and third, barely behind the Seahawks. And it worked out, right? You didn't get a ton of pass attempts from Rogers, but you got over. 30, which is what you need, and love how to throw the ball. And teams facing the Colts, the Colts, their highest scoring team in football. So is it a surprise that they, I mean, it's almost a four-way tie between the Seahawks, Packer, Steelers, and Colts. They all see 39 or more
Starting point is 00:20:54 pass attempts per game. It's not a surprise. So, yeah, these are things that I think about, but it can't just be random. As we get further into the season, it does feel a little bit less random, right? Like, after three games, you look at the matchups. Even after eight games, you look at the matchups. Once we get to the week 12 or 13, I'm probably going to consider it more sticky. Yep. All right.
Starting point is 00:21:15 Question from Luke. Currently, I have T. Higgins in my lineup and non-PPR. I also have Joanne Jennings. If Flacco starts, I go Higgins. But if Purdy starts, should I go Jennings? Jamie? I'd still go Higgins, but it's closer. You know, again, the thing to go back for me with Jennings
Starting point is 00:21:32 that we talked about this morning is, or Friday morning, excuse me, is seven targets each of the last two weeks. Against Atlanta and against Houston. Brutal matchups. Now you're talking about taking on a Giants defense with the depleted secondary. And if Purdy starts, that just makes it that much more attractive. It's funny.
Starting point is 00:21:50 You said something and it stuck on my head. So I wrote my DFS preview for this weekend last night. And I had a Jaguar stack all ready to go of Lawrence and Hunter. And I had to scrap that. And so in its place, I had to retool some of the wide receivers. I put Jennings in because you said, oh, it could be a good DFS. play because of giants. And so Jennings was very cheap. And so I used them in the lineup. But there's just opportunity here. You know, he's seemingly healthy, not on the injury port.
Starting point is 00:22:16 That's a plus. And I think once we get everybody healthy, you're going to see the pecking order in their receiving court. Jennings won, Pearsall, 2, Born 3. And so if Purdy starts this week, that's just even more of a plus in the favor of Jennings. But I still think Higgins has more upside. Bears have been bad against opposing receivers. And I need. know it hasn't been a huge target bump with Flacco, but there's still that opportunity. He should have had three touchdowns in the last two weeks. Remember, he slid short of the end in their win against Pittsburgh. And that's if Flacco starts.
Starting point is 00:22:48 If Flacco starts in on Higgins, if Flacko is not starting, no matter who plays quarterback at the 49ers, I'll actually be playing Jennings over Higgins in all spots. I have no trust with Higgins, with Browning in there. Question from Josh. I'm six and two. I have survived Bowers and Lamb injuries. I've been offered Omar. Marion Hampton for Kamani
Starting point is 00:23:10 Vidal. The Hampton manager is 3 and 5 and wants to get in the playoffs. I'm 6 and 2. Should I give up Vidal for Hampton? Um... I said yes. I emailed responded to the email. I said yes, but it's definitely risky. Because we don't know when Hampton's
Starting point is 00:23:30 coming back. Right. But... The last... I said yes. I don't... See, I would try and find some way to make... to get Hampton without giving up Vidal. You could try that. Because clearly that manager is probably desperate. Or you could trade Vidal for his running back,
Starting point is 00:23:49 like one of his running backs that's better than Vidal. Yeah, I mean, I don't, yeah. Like, you could find out Hampton's out for the season, and then you're screwed. Yeah, it is the risk. All right. Hey, football fans. Let's talk about BEDMGM.

Starting point is 00:24:32 to unforgettable moments this season. Don't wait on the sidelines. join the action with BetMGM. All right, here's one from Andrew. Hold on one second. I got to cue up some music. Andrew says, nope, not that. That's the Wayne's world.
Starting point is 00:24:50 He says, Happy Harvey Ween. Oh, Ty, Mone, Tracy is my RB1. Choose an RB and a flex. If Ramon... I love how you get so excited about these. Yeah. You worked hard on that one.
Starting point is 00:25:08 If Ramandre Stevenson is out, choose a running back and a flex. Woody Marks, Trevion Henderson, Kareem Hunt, Zach Charbonnet, Jake Ferguson. I would still go Woody Marks.
Starting point is 00:25:24 I think it's one running back and one flex. Yeah, so flex is Ferguson easily for me, but I would go Marks. Okay. I could, I mean, for me,
Starting point is 00:25:33 I'll just put it out there. I'm putting, Hunt over all of these backs. I'm very, very high on Cream Hunt during this stretch coming up. Don't really see any reason not to be. Maybe he won't have fully take over the role as Abe Checo is playing from the early down standpoint, but he's going to take some of them and he's still going to be every single Red Zone series for them. Maybe they'll mix and Smith occasionally. The touchdown upside is insanely high with Hunt among probably the highest among most of the backs we have on the slate. It seems a lot like a Giovante Williams type situation
Starting point is 00:26:01 light because it's not going to get the same work between the 20s. I'll take that over just about every back there. And a lot of backs, honestly. I'm very high on Hunt moving Florida. I've tried to make that clear on a few shows. I would go Hunt here. And then we could go Ferguson, I guess. Hunter's obviously out now.
Starting point is 00:26:16 Really, Ferguson are marks. If it's PPR, though, Ferguson. Yeah, by the way, you know, look, I don't know how long Pacheco is going to be out. He's week to week. They've got Buffalo this week, assuming he's not going to play. Then they have a buy. So you might only get one game out of Kareem Hunt as a featured back. But I think it's set up
Starting point is 00:26:35 But that injury could linger. I think he set up for a great game. Same. He also could run away with the job. That's the thing. I mean, Hong has actually looked pretty good this year, in my opinion.
Starting point is 00:26:46 He's looked more... It looks lighter. I don't know. Looks more explosive than he's been in recent years. Okay, Dan, different Dan, says, I traded away Trey Benson and Quentin Johnston for Chase Brown.
Starting point is 00:26:58 I'm deep at receiver. I needed an RB2 while I wait for Hampton to return. Full PPR. I traded Ben's. Benson and Quentin Johnston for Chase Brown. Seems pretty good to me. I mean, we don't even know when Benson's coming back,
Starting point is 00:27:10 if he'll have a full-time role, if that offense will be effective. Not to say Chase Brown's a lot, but in games with Joe Flacco, Chase Brown's a pretty, I think he can be a pretty consistent back-end RB2. Flax and QJ at this point, he's basically just a big play-or-nothing-type play. It's a great short-term trade
Starting point is 00:27:27 with potential long-term appeal as well, because you can't play Benson. We've seen Quentin Johnson fall off, and Chase Brown has taken off. And to Dan's point, like, we don't know if Benson will return when he does come back. His first game is miserable against Seattle. So, you know, you may not have him for three more games, you know, this week, next week. And then another one, depending if he's healthy.
Starting point is 00:27:48 From Michael, full PPR, D'Andre Swift or Kareem Hunt. Swift. As much as I like Hunt, I'm going to go Swift. From Johnny, Charbonnet or Kyle Menangai? Sharbonne. more touchdown ups I wish I were running so sure from Daniel pick two uh Wondale Robinson Jordan Addison Romeo Dobbs and I'll throw Rico Dowdell in there Wondale Addison Dobbs Dowdell pick two wondale and Addison for me yep
Starting point is 00:28:19 fly fishing Dave wants us the greatest trade and half PPR give a j Brown and Aaron Jones get Garrett Wilson and Trey Benson. It's a A for me. Yeah, I'll give it a B-plus. Slide upgrade maybe, Brown to Wilson. That could end up being a wash. But I think definite upgrade Jones to Benson.
Starting point is 00:28:42 There's not much hope with Jones. Yep. Chris is in a Dynasty League. He needs wide receiver help. He was offered Debo Samuel and a late second round pick in 2026 for Cam Scadaboo and a third round pick that's going to likely be late in 2026. This is Dynasty, though? Yeah, Dynasty.
Starting point is 00:29:02 I wouldn't not do this in Dynasty. This is somebody trying to buy low on Camp Scadaboo in Dynasty. I don't just, would not be doing this. I think you just got to get better than Debo. I know, look, we're getting to the trade deadline, and most people that are out of it are unloading, aging wide receivers. It makes total sense.
Starting point is 00:29:19 You know, so you're not going to get a young stud for Camp Scadaboo. If that's the move you're trying to make, I would just look for a little bit better than Debo. Yeah, I guess. And look, you're getting draft pick, the station on top of it. So it's not an awful deal. But I just don't think Debo is the type of player. You give up what Scataboo could be still. That's the thing. Like Scataboo from what I've read is supposed to be back for the start of like training camp, let alone like not just like,
Starting point is 00:29:45 is he going to be back for the office? It's supposed to be not like a six to eight month injury. So the Giants have already proven they believe he's like the focal point fulcrum of their offense. I don't think we're ever going to get that at a Debo again. He's aging. At the same time, I think for anybody that shopping scataboo we've been through this before with lower leg injuries the running backs but yeah it's still not right it took poll or over a year to get back to being himself and i do think in the case of scadaboo the way that he plays he's going to have a very short self-life of of being potentially a borderline star i don't know if he's ever going to be a star but a borderline star so if you can if you need to unload him as a trade chip to help your dynasty
Starting point is 00:30:22 roster he certainly should be somebody in play i just think you need a little bit better than then Debo to give up for him. So if Debo is playing as well as he had been at the start of the season, no-brainer. But right now we've seen the lull. McCloren's going to eventually be back. Daniels is playing through an injury. Like, there's a lot of things going wrong with Washington right now. Debo is going to be 30 soon.
Starting point is 00:30:40 Yeah. He's going to be 30 in January. He's not a great. He's not a hard physical style. Well, this is a rental. I mean, again, you know, when you're making these, like, I'm trying to think of somebody else who falls in this category of like aging wide receiver who can still be productive.
Starting point is 00:30:51 Like, forget Devante Adams is on a different level. um that's the player i actually think you should be trading like if you're trading cam scadaboo you're still if you're if you're not putting him in that pedestal or on that tier like you're just selling him so low why well because you know because he might not be you don't want to miss down the chance to win now it's true yeah yeah scadaboo that's a go and somebody played keen and out you know that that's the type of play like if i get keen and out for camp scadaboo as a rental i'm doing that with the hope that i win the
Starting point is 00:31:21 league now. I could not do that. Me either. But I get, I know. I mean, I understand what Jamie's saying. I personally wouldn't do it, but yeah. But so you're saying that you're, so that's the thing. Like, I don't even know that Keenan Allen's going to be better than Debo Samuel rest of season. And Debo's three years younger. But again, what, what you're looking at is teams that are out of it, they're not trading young talent. They're not giving you, you know, players that are going to help them in the future. Dave just unloaded his entire team. But Jamie, could you Could you maybe get, I was going to say McLauran, but he's hurt?
Starting point is 00:31:54 I mean, could you get like a solid receiver, like Devante Smith? Potentially. I mean, you know, I think you're probably giving up Scataboo in a second for Devonthe Smith and not getting a pick in return. Yeah, maybe. But, right, because Smith's valuable, but at the same time, like Scataboo looked like he could be an RB1. I don't know, like, Dak Prescott had a similar injury, right, in Scataboo, and he barely
Starting point is 00:32:18 ran the following year. Chris Godwin had a similar injury last year and he's obviously had some major issues. We don't know. I know that he's going to be back for week one. It seems that way, if not training camp. I just don't know what to expect from Scadaboo. That's the thing.
Starting point is 00:32:35 Again, when you're in the spot of first in your league, top three in your league, and you need assets, you have to give up something to get it. Sure. You know, and in the case of like, for me, I would rather, I would aim higher than Debo. And yes, I would aim higher than Keenan Allen, clearly. You know, I'm just talking about what teams are unloading.
Starting point is 00:32:55 You know, so when you're headed for tank mode or rebuild mode, I give an example, two years ago, I needed help to, it was time to, you know, hit the reset button. I traded Mike Evans when he was 29 going to be 30, right? I regretted it last year, but you know what I got in return? I got a first round pick for him that ended up being Ladd-McConkie. So, like, that's the type of thing you have to do. You have to give up some asset that's still worth something. So in the case of Camp Scadaboo, yes, it would suck to give him up.
Starting point is 00:33:24 He's not helping you at all this season. You want that prize money at the end of the year. You got to give up something to get it. Are you Herbert and Ernie? Are you the one who did this trade with Dave? No, that's Jack. That's Jack. That's a wild trade in a Dynasty League.
Starting point is 00:33:38 Just looking at that. I don't even know if I think. So here's the trade, just for those listening. I'm curious to see what the listeners think. the team competing for now acquired from Dave George Kittle overshone David Montgomery Evans who's out for the year he's not out for the year he's not out for the year he's not out for the year how long is he out for he could return for the end of the season and definitely for the NFL playoffs okay well that may not help a lot of fantasy managers this year yeah
Starting point is 00:34:04 and so Montgomery Evans Kittal and McLaurin who's hurt Tillman and Camara for a one to Andrews and Palmer I don't like I don't know if that's enough for a one in a two. So I would disagree just from the standpoint of I think it's a 14-team league. Yeah. Kittle is a borderline first-round pick. Borderline first-round pick, you think, in Dynasty? Yes.
Starting point is 00:34:30 Like, I guess maybe I don't have the value right with you. I don't agree. I don't agree. He's 32 years old, Kittle. I mean, all these kinds are massive rentals. Yeah, you're trying to win now, but like three of them are injured that you traded for. I think I think Kittles got some some 2025 downside that we don't really you know Okay let's let's let's let's let's stop it so he's it's worth the second round second right nobody's
Starting point is 00:34:55 getting in for less than a second round yeah for sure Montgomery is probably a two or a three three Again it's it's hard to get players that are going to be productive like I know and Evans is hurt McLorne is hurt okay so let's take this is overshone is hurt now By the way when he did when he made the trade McLaren was back and overshone too like overshone was oh no overshone wasn't back but he's he had like a some setback some injury this week but overshone could be really good like I know we don't talk about IDP a lot but this guy would look like a rising star coming off a huge injury I don't think I didn't like what what Dave did was I would have tried to sell them off individually and see if you get done better right and the thing that I told him
Starting point is 00:35:32 was this type of trade you make at the deadline like we're not at the deadline yeah like he's going to have he's going to have three or four teams that are panicked because of a trade or two that happens i still like the trade for dave honestly i mean getting a one and two i maybe he could have got more if he sold off individually i don't know i don't know who's like dave in montgomery and dynasty evans and dynasty these are you got to look at it though from the buyers perspective it's a 14 team league there's nobody on waivers and what what can you possibly get like montgomery can still be an rb two kiddle is still going to be i mean no i see what you're saying like that's kind of my point if you don't package them all together you're never going to get to one right so this is your only
Starting point is 00:36:13 chance to get the one back i i don't know i think he could have sold kill it for one okay kiddle for a one wow okay all right guys we got to move on here some more questions not straight up but in in some sort of deal yeah from michael i'm starting tray mcbride at tight end now who's my flex ashton genty i mean you're just not going to bench gentie i'm not confident in it by any means like i could easily see creme hunt outscoring him i could easily see gatson outscoring him very easily honestly but i would start gently uh from from jess drake mayor dac prescott that cool quick stat on those two i'll go in this matchup with dac too they are the number one and number two quarterbacks and on target percentage they're on throws on target the season
Starting point is 00:37:02 excellent half ppr great quarterback give me a wide receiver and a flex courtland sutton christian Watson, Trey Tucker, Trayvion Henderson, if Stevenson's out. May a wide receiver in a flex, Sutton, Watson, Tucker, Henderson. Sutton and Henderson. That was probably what I would do, too. I don't love Sutton this week, but he's better than the other two guys. We're going to rapid fire these from Michael, David Montgomery, or Woody Marks? Montgomery.
Starting point is 00:37:27 Marks and PPR. It is full PPR. From Joey, pick two. Bam Knight, J.K. Dobbins, Travis E.N. Setting Dobbins. Me too. I think Dobbins overnight. I'll play Dobbins in ATN.
Starting point is 00:37:42 From Stephen, full PPR, give T. Higgins and Rashad White, get A.J. Brown. I don't love it. I don't love it, but I don't hate it either. But Higgins with Flacko is pretty intriguing. So I don't like it. We got to buy low on AJ Brown at some point and you got to give up something to get him. So if he is going to be better in the second half of the season schedule is great, targets have still been there for them.
Starting point is 00:38:09 There could be a huge second half. Rashad White's the key to this whole thing. If Bucky Irving's back, then you win this trade to me by a good enough margin. If Buckey Irving's out for another several weeks, then it's a tough deal. So I'm going to go B minus. I would make the trade, but not fully loving it. All right. Last one, guys.
Starting point is 00:38:31 From Connor, start two. Brian Thomas Jr., Charbonnet, Jennings. Dobbs, Spears in full PPR. Brian Thomas, Jr., it's not going to be Spears. So, BTJ, Charbonnet, well, whatever. BTJ, Charbonnet, Jennings, Dob, Spears. Pick two. Thomas and Jennings.
Starting point is 00:38:53 Definitely BTJ out of this group. I'll go Thomas and Dobbs. And half PPRs start two. Kraft, E.N, Shakir, T. Higgins. Craft and E.T.N. Agreed. I think I want to get Higgins in there if Flacko's playing.
Starting point is 00:39:10 Yeah, I consider crafting Higgins, but definitely craft, no matter what. I mean, ETN, again, last three times we saw him really brutal matchups.
Starting point is 00:39:18 True. Not that this is a walk in the park. It's not that good. Yeah. Bryce Young apparently good to go, by the way we'll start. Thank you. Bryce Young is playing.
Starting point is 00:39:27 Bad news for our boy, Tederoa. I made a great trade this week. Unbelievable. Blockbuster deal. What was it? In our 20, 20 league, office league.
Starting point is 00:39:37 I traded the same DST for the Panthers team QB. Nice. Wait, what? All right, Friday. I would anyone trade a team QB? Let's not get in this rabbit order. Listen, I was shocked. It was offered to me and within, because I only have Baker Mayfield.
Starting point is 00:39:55 I only have the bucks quarterback. So I was like, I'm just going to play a lot of quarterback so we got no choice. And then somebody offered me, I was like, okay, cool, thanks. I'd rather get six points than nothing. You all ready for the fantasy cops Because they're showing up at your door When we come back on FFT Oh, here we go, baby
Starting point is 00:40:11 Send your league disputes, your issues To fantasy football at cbsi.com Put fantasy cops in the subject line This is from Austin Just out of curiosity Why are you guys so against having players That are out be put in IR You guys are the only people
Starting point is 00:40:27 That do this for a living That I've found that are against this I'm curious as to what the argument is so not on IR but can be stashed yeah he said he put out in quotes so i guess that means like he's been declared out i don't know if this is he's inactive or what so i'll give you i give you two scenarios so i play in two leagues on or play in three four leagues on sleeper but two of the leagues have two different policies with this one is you have to be on iR to be placed in an ir spot the other is if they are ruled out for the week you can place them in an ir spot the i don't mind
Starting point is 00:41:00 that if that's the that's what he's referring to yeah they have to be out but that's what you mean we have a lot of gray area with that with how people cheat the system where questionable they put them in a in a injury spot doubtful they put them in injury spot they make transactions and then we get to the weekend and you know the way our leagues work on cbs is if you don't change your lineup they could sit there i have a question for you so this these sleeper leagues where you can put players who are out in IR. Is there a specific designation for these players that are out? Or is this something that the manager, you know?
Starting point is 00:41:37 You can't do it unless they say out. So I'll give an example. Every week, I have Darius Slayton. Every week we get to the weekend, I put Darius Slate in an IR spot. I pick up somebody for the weekend. I get to Tuesday to make a roster move. It says you cannot make a roster. You cannot do an ad drop because you have a player who is no longer listed is out in an
Starting point is 00:41:57 iR spot so it will not let me do anything with my lineup until i remove him or drop somebody or drop so the players ruled out even on thursday like they haven't practiced like this happens for me with pierceol in one of my leagues he keeps he's been in my i r spot yeah yeah but the thing is what i like about it is it does have a like a fail safe because this happened to my friend in my league which i find funny you can leave the guy in your i r spot and he's out but he's not on i r but if you get to the Thursday night game and you forget to take him out of your IR spot and he's not no longer on IR. They say you have an illegal roster because it'll let you carry it over to the next week. You just can't make any moves. But then if you carry that through Thursday night, this happened
Starting point is 00:42:40 to him, I think, with Aaron Jones or one of these players last week. You then can't make a move the rest of the week. Yeah. It was a big headache in the FFT open because people were like, I have Aaron Jones on an IR spot. He was he was out. activated. I didn't see that before Thursday, this and that. So the commissioner has to, and me in this case, has to, I don't know, do a little bit of maneuvering to make the lineups legal. But getting back to this question, I suppose I don't have a big issue with it, but I mean, I kind of do have an issue with it because you're trying to imitate the NFL, right? That's kind of the purpose of fantasy football. And in the NFL, you know, the IR is used so you can have
Starting point is 00:43:24 your 53-man roster and not have these guys count against it. But you can't say that though, because when they get to Sunday, they get to put them on an inactive list and get another 53-man roster. Because they have a practice squad? Correct. Well, it's not just practice squad. They have players in place for this.
Starting point is 00:43:44 That's true. But I mean, I guess that's a good point. They have like basically a bigger bench. But there's still a difference between a guy like being on the active roster and being on i r or be yeah like being on i are basically right it's like i don't i don't have a problem if it's you're putting players who are out in in ir slash out spot but they have to be ruled out and if it starts to become a problem then it's done yeah all right reason we'll take
Starting point is 00:44:12 this is from anton all right he says hey jk austin and melvin Chargers running backs. We need you to be the judge and jury for our 10-team, 10-year dynasty league. Sorry, I don't know if you heard last week's show. We are not the fantasy judge. You are the fantasy cops, but we will do our best. How do we not dress up as fantasy cops? Oh, yeah, that would have been good.
Starting point is 00:44:42 Last year, an experienced manager took over an orphan team. In week one of this season, he benched his entire starting lineup in an obvious tanking move. Several managers informed him of our league's unwritten role. rule that you must start a competitive lineup. He complied, begrudgingly, and has set a proper competitive lineup ever since. But he did not do that in week one, okay? Okay. It's now week eight, and his dumpster fire team is surprisingly a top contender.
Starting point is 00:45:10 He hit dumpster fire, in quotes. It's a top contender due to some savvy trades. He's currently in a four-way tie for the final playoff spot, but our tiebreaker is points scored, and his total is destroyed by his week one intentional tanking. He's now asking in the league for a vote to retroactively restore his correct week one points. His argument that is that it's unfair to punish him for a rule that wasn't officially written down when he joined. So what's the right call? Should we give him his points back because the rule was unwritten?
Starting point is 00:45:42 Hell no. But he made a decision that he wasn't even supposed to make in week one, guys. He wasn't even supposed to tank like that. No, if the commissioner saw this and the league saw this and said, hey, he's tanking. We've got to change his lineup midway through Sunday, Sunday morning. Right. Like, he set his lineup.
Starting point is 00:46:01 This doesn't matter. I think this is on the commissioner, though, because he set his lineup, and then they told him, no, you can't do this. And now- Yes, you can't do this. Not you got to redo your lineup for week one, and we're going to change the scoring. But he's kind of getting screwed by them not. Oh, no, no, he's not getting screwed. He screwed himself.
Starting point is 00:46:19 No, he, because he was told that he couldn't tank. He went into the year expecting to tank. I understand that he went into it, unknowing what, not fully aware of what the circumstances are when it comes to tanking or not tanking. Sounds like a very Adam commissioner run league. Yeah, basically. Where things are supposed to happen, but they're not run down.
Starting point is 00:46:40 Yeah. I think just in this case, like, you're stuck with it. You're not going back and changing the scoring. No, but you see where he's coming from. He was going to tank. Yes, I see where he's coming from, but no way. All right. I have a quick take on this, though, because, and I've been waiting to talk about this with Heath at some point, and I will bring this up to him next time I'm on the, I'm on his show.
Starting point is 00:47:01 This is the exact reason why managed dynasty leagues are a thousand times worse than best ball dynasty leagues. And it's such a difference in dynasty versus redraft or keeper leagues. In my dynasty best ball leagues, you can't just do, like, I hate when I look at our league at him, our bake burger and I see like Casey Ryback projected for 14.6. and I look like all your players on your bench. It's very stupid to be able to tank but still keep your roster intact. In a best ball league, if you tank, you have to make that decision knowing the weight of that decision, which is you have to bottom out your roster to get that first pick. And are you going to get those players back?
Starting point is 00:47:40 Because in a best ball league, it will auto score your best players each week. So you can't have this cheap strategy of like just putting in injured guys. I see you have like inactive and stuff. All sorts of nonsense going on with you in the Big Burger League. I mean, so that's just, it's like, and I partly brought this example up to Barry Adam, but not really. No. The point is, like, you shouldn't be able to do that. It just makes it, it's not even that you shouldn't be able to do it.
Starting point is 00:48:01 It's just stupid. It makes a league dumber, in my opinion. In a best ball, you can't do that. Like, why are you bringing it up with Heath? What? Why are you bringing it up with Heath? Just because he's the dynasty guy. Oh, I thought you meant because he's the commissioner.
Starting point is 00:48:13 No, this is Adam's little baby, so he gets to do what he wants for. Yeah, true. You're right about that. Oh, I would, my little baby is up for adoption. If anybody wants to be the commissioner of this league, I hate it. I hate being commissioner of this league. It's the worst. Oh my gosh.
Starting point is 00:48:30 I'm just glad we raised money for St. Jude. Honestly, the saving grace of that pathetically. I actually don't even like Dynasty anymore. I'm so over it. Wow. It's not even dynasty. It's deep leagues with crazy big benches. No waiver wire.
Starting point is 00:48:43 It is just about health. You know, I'm not always. My team is 8.0, 300 points ahead of everyone. Your team is healthy. I'm sure. You know what? This is why you brought this up. Team is healthy.
Starting point is 00:48:53 This is so disingenuous. Even if I had an injury, it wouldn't matter that team. Dan, this is so disingenuous of you. To sit here and talk about this as if it was some reason to talk about dynasty football other than bragging about your stupid eight and no team. What is your stupid name now for your team? The best startup draft ever. It really is.
Starting point is 00:49:10 I look back at the draft. It's unbelievable. I was getting like James Cook in round eight, Jemir Gibbs in round three. It's just unbelievable stuff. Okay. So congratulations. But the fact is when you put. playing these super deep leagues that have no waiver wire.
Starting point is 00:49:22 Yeah, like my Big Burger Dynasty League sucks as I drafted poorly. But the other Dynasty League, drafted Malik neighbors, drafted Mike Evans. What am I supposed to do? I can't go to the waiver wire and get anybody even close to that. So I guess cannot, I don't like deep leagues. If you want me to be in a deep league with you, don't invite me. I'm not interested. All right.
Starting point is 00:49:41 Next step. Adam from a... When I go back next week to try to form my impression to you, I will be using this film. Adam from a bagel emporium loving town. All right. Go bagel import. I'm going to get that to Mark. He says,
Starting point is 00:49:58 Dear Ricky, Ronnie, Jay, and Devon. Wait, wait a second. You get your bagel important. You get your bagels from like a chain bagel place? I wouldn't call it a chain. There's like five of them in Westchester. Okay, that's better. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:12 Fantasy cops. A seemingly, okay, all right, this is a whole thing here about free agents being picked up. guys who are dropped and what their keeper value is supposed to be. So I'll skip the first paragraph. But what actually caused the uproar was Malik Neighbors being added. In August 2024, I implemented a rule that if a player was drafted, dropped, and added by a new team,
Starting point is 00:50:35 they would be treated as a free agent ad and kept in the sixth round. This was because in 2023, Devon A. Chan was drafted late, dropped, and added by a new team when he became a potential round one keeper. So the new rule said he would be a sixth round. downkeeper instead of originally would have been an eighth roundkeeper. All right. So that's what I have a free agent. If a guy gets drafted, then dropped, then you add him, you can keep him for a six-round
Starting point is 00:50:56 pick. We never even considered a scenario where a stud, like Malik Neighbors, is out for the season and dropped to avoid clogging up the IR, but then added by a new team to become a sixth-round pick. This is the one-and-seven team in the last place who is thrilled to have a leg up on next year. We understand we cannot change this neighbors or Tyreek or anyone else for them. But do we leave the rule as is? Give an IR exemption.
Starting point is 00:51:23 Say players are kept at the earliest possible draft round. What should we do about guys who get picked up mid-season? You can't do an IR exemption. I don't think that's fair because you want to make sure everybody's playing by the same rules when it comes to IR spots. I have a league like this where we make it that anybody drafted because we do our keepers starting in round eight or later on draft day. So anybody that's drafted in the first seven rounds is not eligible to be kept. Anybody drafted round eight or later and dropped and picked up can be kept. I think if you're, I don't have a problem with this rule.
Starting point is 00:52:02 It's just, you know, there's going to be scenarios like this where somebody has to drop a player like that and somebody else gets lucky. I would think, like for me, and I don't know what the trade rules are, like if I know I have to drop Malik neighbors, I'm trying to trade him. I think it should just be the round the player was drafted in. I do not like the reset with free agency. I think it just leads to terrible, terrible fantasy. Yeah, I kind of agree. What? I agree.
Starting point is 00:52:25 Yeah. Just leads a bad fantasy. It's just a bad rule. We used to have this problem in my auction league where like Aaron Foster, it's just like people were picked up at the end of a season for one or two bucks, and then you get them for that part. And then we're like, enough of this. It's what they're drafted at.
Starting point is 00:52:37 Yeah. But let's say you picked up, I don't know, a free agent who just had, happen to have a great year, you know, Baker Mayfield last year. Let's just say it was Quentin Johnson. You picked them as a free agent. He had a great year. Next year he was being drafted in the fifth round or something like, but where would you, you have to have a rule with free agents that were not drafted, you know? Right. But why are you punishing people for that, though? No, what round? What round do you keep them in? That's all I'm saying. Last round. Last round, okay. I mean, if you're trying to punish, if you're trying to punish people
Starting point is 00:53:11 in essence for not you know for dropping any players that were drafted early and not giving people the benefit to pick them up you can't punish people that got somebody off waivers and all of a sudden change their value
Starting point is 00:53:24 if their value is pre-draft their value is pre-draft that's fine I just I don't play in any keep release like that so I was just curious what you did all right thank you very much let's do some
Starting point is 00:53:37 what do you think Dan I'll let you choose Apple Podcast or Spotify Let's give Spotify their due day. We always go to Apple. Spotify's next. Then we'll do Apple podcast questions. Angela needs a flex.
Starting point is 00:53:48 Jordan Addison, Kareem Hunt, or Woody Marks. It is standard scoring. Ooh, Hunt. Yep. Start two of these from Paco here. Ken Walker, Bam Knight, or David Montgomery? Ugh. Walker Montgomery for me.
Starting point is 00:54:07 Knight Montgomery for me. Knight's my favorite of these three. Jamie, who's your favorite? Night. I'm not feeling night this week, but maybe you're wrong on that. I guess Walker's hard to be in on either. Dan gave us a, ugh, I'll have a crab juice there. Of course, I know you don't get, I know, don't worry about it.
Starting point is 00:54:25 What's that from? Simpsons. The Simpsons, wow. Throwback. All right, this is from Cheeky Lawboy. Assuming Stevenson is out, who would you start? Travian Henderson or Spears? Henderson.
Starting point is 00:54:38 Henderson, given the Ramandre situation. Oh, look at this blockbuster trade from Troy. Should I trade Devon A-chan and Jackson, Smith, and Jigba for Bejohn Robinson, Rashad White, and Garrett Wilson? I would have A-chanin and Smith. I would have A-S-N for Bejohn, White, and Wilson. Wow. I think I'd rather A-Chane and J-S-N, too. I had an, okay, this is, let's see what this is.
Starting point is 00:55:08 I knew, by the way, the minute I traded Trevion Henderson, something good would happen. You traded him? What'd you get for him? John Taylor. Oh, right, right. That was dynasty. What was the trade? Dynasty.
Starting point is 00:55:19 I traded Henderson, a 2027 first and a 2027 second for Taylor and a 2027 third. I love that trade for you. Jay Tupa wants to know if he should trade Reese Hall and Kamani Vidal for Nico Collins. I wouldn't. what is it again i'm sorry hall and videl for nico i would not do that you can't trade bruce hall until the trade deadline passes if he goes to the chiefs he just becomes an absolute monster
Starting point is 00:55:47 there's just a lot of options that you'd yeah that would be bad you can't it's not a good time to trade him okay a question from bedo um should i be looking to trade anyone on my team for strength at another position like quarterback or am i good he's got bo necks puka j sn abuca and s in Sutton, Jacobs, Gentie, Jalen, Warrant, and Dowdell, Tucker Kraft. This is loaded.
Starting point is 00:56:13 Would you trade anyone for an upgraded? I would say either RB2 or quarterback. I mean, RB2, like, you're going to get better than Genty or Jalen Warren? Yeah, I think you could. I mean, I'm not quite as high on Genty as you guys might be. I'm not high on Genty at all. No, they're both. No, but I mean, as an RB2.
Starting point is 00:56:34 No, I'm saying to get another RB1, basically, is what you're saying. I guess, I mean, like you, if it's a three-receiver league, I'm not trading one of those receivers. No, but if it's a two-receiver league, I'd think about trading. Sutton will be the one I'd be selling right now or Abuca, just because Abuka, we don't know when Godwin comes back. Does he take a slight hit? Sutton still has his buy-week coming. I'd be the one easy one to shop. Nah, well, but he's coming off a bad game. That's the problem. Like, would you trade-
Starting point is 00:57:07 If you're trying to upgrade, you're probably going to have to package Sutton and one of Gentie or Warren to get something great. Oh, that's true. Would you trade JSN for Christian McCaffrey? In this situation, yes. Okay. All right, thanks. I'll do one more from Spotify here. It is from, well, we'll do two more.
Starting point is 00:57:27 We'll do from Chris. Start two and half PBR. Zach Charbonnet, Joanne Jennings, RICO Dowdell, Prashard Smith, And not Travis Hunter now. Charbonnet, Jennings, Dowdell, Breschard Smith, start two and half PPR. Charbonnet and Dowdell. I do feel like Charbonnet is going to score, but it's too risky for me. I'm going to go Jennings and Dowdell.
Starting point is 00:57:57 Jennings is definitely in the mix, is in there for me. I think Jennings and Charbonnet for me. Totally get it. All right, from Mario. Start or sit. It's two in full PPR. Swift, O'Dunze, Olave, T. Higgins. The Bears.
Starting point is 00:58:16 The Bears. Adunzee for sure. Yeah, I like Swift. Dunezay and Swift. Dan, do you know what the Bears is? Yeah, it's the S&L stuff. Oh. Someone emailed and said,
Starting point is 00:58:33 Does Dan know who Tina Turner is? Not really, no. I know like Ike and Tina Turner type thing. Oh, that's her. Yeah, but I don't really know who she is. Like, I just know that from the lore of like the Ike and Tina Turner situation. Someone wanted me to say. From like an Eminem.
Starting point is 00:58:48 I think I just know it from like an Eminem lyric or something. Oh, okay. You're simply the fish. Someone wanted me to. Is she a singer? What was she? Yeah, amazing singer. Okay.
Starting point is 00:58:58 What was Ike? He was just the husband. He was the husband and sang with her. They were a musical. duo okay he also is pretty bad man not gonna get no i know he's a bad man yeah not not a good yeah all right from uh carlito's way brown week nine i need a running back never saw carlito's way i don't care a little bit of it don't even know what it's about it's good yeah it seemed like a stupid movie the title i was like this is gonna be dumb but it's actually pretty good who would you pick
Starting point is 00:59:32 up Spears, Algier, Menangai, or Pyrine for this week only? Spears. I think Spiers, because it's twofold. Like, there's a chance Pollard gets traded, which would help his value. I don't know how much, but it would help it. I do like Menongai this week as sort of a sneaky play just because the Bengals have given up a lot of production to running backs and duos as well. But I think Spears is just safer.
Starting point is 00:59:58 All right. This is from Steve. Steve plays trumpet. 12-team PPR. I just got Kareem Hunt off waivers and recently traded for Lamar Jackson. I lost Scataboo. All right. I need to cut someone.
Starting point is 01:00:11 Okay. See, please don't ask Thursday questions. I do appreciate very much the review, but please don't ask Thursday questions. Hopefully you cut. Oh, Nix, I guess. Please don't ask Thursday questions. I will answer them without telling you what the question is.
Starting point is 01:00:27 I'm trying to go. Yeah, I'm sorry. All right. This is from Mikey. This is a Travis Hunter question Skipping it I don't think we have any Do we have any left Josh
Starting point is 01:00:38 That are like good Wow good You're judging No it was a good question But you traded for Travis Hunter I'm not gonna I'm only kidding Yeah
Starting point is 01:00:48 Who does Miami have this week? All right this is a question Would you trade Swift for Sutton In a 14 team full PPR league I'd rather have Swift Yeah We're at the point where I would rather have Swift too
Starting point is 01:01:01 Swift isn't even doing the best job processing, but they're creating such big holes for him. Corrupt Comish wants to know rest of season, would you rather have the Broncos DST or the Texans DST? Broncos. I'm with you, but you have to deal with the biweek still for Denver. Yeah. I mean, I feel like the Texans DST has been a lot better.
Starting point is 01:01:22 And they've got Green Bay, Jacksonville, and Kansas City. Denver has Green Bay, Jacksonville, and Kansas City in the fantasy championship. in the fancy playoffs. The Texans, I would not say they've been a lot better. I think they've been marginally better. Texans have Arizona, Las Vegas, and the Chargers. But before that, they have Buffalo,
Starting point is 01:01:40 Indianapolis, and Kansas City. How about just stream the best options when you get there? Okay, fair enough. All right, let's finish up with some YouTube questions here. All right, Chattie Airport. You are a comedian is incredible. Yeah, well, he's half the show. He's like part of the show at this point.
Starting point is 01:02:04 Yeah. Oh, look at that. That's a good, that's Homer Simpson. Quick, quick, funny mailback story. Short one for me, even for me. All right, but, dang, go with Swift over Montgomery. Go ahead, Dave. Jan, Dan.
Starting point is 01:02:17 Last weekend, or last week, I was playing poker at a casino for the first time in like two or three years. That's why you missed a show? No, this was on Saturday. And I'm sitting there. Mining my own business, but like I'm striking up a conversation with the guy to my right. Not about fantasy football. I forgot what we were talking about. And out of nowhere, across the table, somebody says, I know you.
Starting point is 01:02:40 And you know that feeling you get when somebody tells you that they know you and you look over and you do never, never seen this person before you don't recognize them. It's like, at least for me, it's like a little bit of a pit in the stomach feeling like, oh, God, where do you know me from? This is not good. He's like, I know you. I know you. I'm like, I don't know you.
Starting point is 01:02:56 And then I look, and I look, and he has his iPad at the poker table, I look down because he hits pause on it, so like, diverts my attention to it. And it's you, too, on Mailbag. He's watching Mailbag from that day, from Friday from the day before. He's like, I know you. You're Dan Schneier, aren't you? Yes. No way. That's so funny. He's watching Mailbag at the table, does not miss an episode. I want a shout out Dixit. He's the man, a big fan of the show, and I told him I give him a shout out and his daughter listens to the show to. It doesn't miss an episode. It was just so cool to see.
Starting point is 01:03:29 At first I'm like, oh, God, where do you know me from? And it's like, I know you. I recognize the voice. And now I put the two to two together. We played like three or four-handed PLO for like two hours. And he is a pro player. So he dominated me. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 01:03:42 I actually held my own in that night, but he would kill me over time. Nice. Yeah, Dan wasn't really at the toothpick factory. This was Saturday. Let's see. Sit or start. Are you wearing your brief strip? no i i you know i haven't debuted it yet in public outside of uh i played tennis with it one time
Starting point is 01:04:02 last weekend which was really nice for tennis and i will be wearing it next year when we when me and adam play tennis i stand by that or i will get surgery to fix this issue one of the two will happen um you can really be like that second set would have been a lot different i think with this no strip on i'm sure wow no strip reason why dan struggled yeah you better play a lot dude because i i am going to oh yeah i i've had a moment in my life where I just said I'm so tired of not being good at anything. I'm so tired of it.
Starting point is 01:04:31 And, and when football season is over, I'm going to dedicate a lot of time, a lot of time to getting good at tennis. I'm going to pronate on my serve. I'm going to be, this is going to be my life's obsession. I'm going to be good. Wow.
Starting point is 01:04:45 It's something. They play a lot of paddle ball. You play paddle ball? I haven't, but I heard it's fun. It's very fun. It's very fun. I would rank the sports. I've heard paddles fun tennis is amazing paddle's fun I'm gonna go all the way down
Starting point is 01:04:58 and offend a lot of people with this but I just think pickleball sucks no pickleball is good like it's fine for what it is but A, there's just no workout involved B I want to play like singles pickleball is fun you can't find anyone who wants to play singles pickleball
Starting point is 01:05:14 where you actually move around it can make shots pickleball and paddle ball that's not the point of them paddle ball you're moving a lot more than pickleball but the point is a lot more from what I've seen I've seen videos They're lighter. They're social.
Starting point is 01:05:27 And for pickleball, I think it's good for like older people who can't run around as much. Yes, it's good for older people. We don't want to walk out. We're losing Jeevee here. All right, from Jonathan, start one in PPR. Brian Thomas Jr., Jordan Addison, or Sutton?
Starting point is 01:05:42 Brian Thomas, Jr. I guess BTJ. From... Just for the upside. Effortless shots. Do I deal from strength at wide receiver to add a running back? I have Henry, Knight, Hunt, and Tootin.
Starting point is 01:05:55 I have Rice, Pickens, BTJ. Yeah. Rice, Pickens, BTJ, Abuka and T-Mack, yeah. Yep. Dan, did you wear a breathe strip on your nose because the casino police roughed you up? No, it's because I can't breathe, Elia. I cannot breathe.
Starting point is 01:06:09 And it's crazy. When you were someone like me who cannot breathe and has a full deviated symptom, you try one of these things, I literally feel that yesterday I didn't wear it for the first, and I didn't wear it all day. It was like I couldn't breathe anymore. more. I don't know what I'm going to do. I'm now addicted to these things. I'm addicted to these
Starting point is 01:06:26 brief strips. All right. Lou Sassel says, I recognize Dan from the no strips commercial. Parker Washington, DJ Moore, Rico Dowdell. Can we get a sponsor them to sponsor us? So I stay in, I don't have to pay for it anymore. Parker Washington, DJ Moore, Rico Dowdell, Woody Marks, or Jordan Mason, half PPR. Let's go with. Give me, give me more. More? I think so. More doubt all for me. I'm going with
Starting point is 01:06:57 I don't like anything. Jamie likes Woody Marks this week. I hope you're right. I would go DJ more because it's half BBR. Yeah, started running back in a flex. Remandre officially ruled out. Who?
Starting point is 01:07:07 Ramandre Stevenson. Whoa. Put him in an IR spot. All right. David wants to know, started running back in a flex. Woody Marks, R.J. Harvey, Brashard Smith,
Starting point is 01:07:16 or Jacoby Myers? I would go with Woody Marks. and Jacoby Myers. Marks of the backs, for sure. And then I don't think you can play any of those other backs over Myers.
Starting point is 01:07:31 I mean, Harvey may have more upside, but it's still going Myers. Poppinski, or maybe it was Johnny Airport. I'm sorry. Someone said you were recognized from your barrel chestedness. Anthony says,
Starting point is 01:07:45 pick one in PPR. Kishon Booty, Darnow Mooney. I will never retire the shirt. Kishon Booty, Darnow Mooney, Parker, Washington. Parker Washington Yeah, Parker for sure Oh no, I'm sorry I'm going booty
Starting point is 01:07:57 I didn't see him up top I will just play booty For sure over those Okay, if London's out I think I'd go Mooney Marks, Bam Night If panic is back Tony Pollard
Starting point is 01:08:07 Bam Bam Bam Yeah, out of those Tyler Algear Diami Brown Jalen Coker or Devin Singletary We have to sit to one of them I'd say that Alger
Starting point is 01:08:25 No I'd say Coker Not Coker for me Algerian single Terry I guess I'll go Alger A few more here Would you drop Pierceall for Myers PPR? No I would
Starting point is 01:08:42 Simply because if Myers gets traded His value could Exponentially increase And And pick one. Kareem Hunt, RICO Daudel, Bam Knight, PPR. Hunt. Sure, make it easy.
Starting point is 01:08:56 Okay. That is, uh, that's it for the show. Bagging. Thanks, everybody. Yeah. Did you have something to say, Dan? I'm sorry. No, she said we're bagging.
Starting point is 01:09:08 Oh, we're bagging. We sure are. Uh, go trick or treat. Let's go trick or treating and, well, enjoy watching. I'm excited for that. When Dan says he goes to a strip club, it's an entirely different meaning. They just sit around and breathe all this time I'm telling you man
Starting point is 01:09:23 It helps Don't keep bringing up this picture I mean look at the rest of you The hair The hair was it was a bad hair day Honestly it was like somebody just drew something on your nose I didn't know what it was It was a bad hair day
Starting point is 01:09:37 I was like why is he wearing a nose strip It helps me breathe I'm excited for you this is good stuff I hope it helps you sleep I didn't realize how bad it was until I tried this And then went to me out there and he was like, yeah, you need to get surgery. I don't know if I want that right now. Surgery, wow.
Starting point is 01:09:53 Yeah. Well, it's a fully deviated stuff. Okay. All right. This is boring. Let's finish the show. Very boring. Talk to you on Sunday morning at 11 a.m. Eastern.
