Starting point is 00:00:52 Free of charge. BetMGM operates pursuant to an operating agreement with Eye Gaming Ontario. This is fantasy football today from CBS Sports. What a play! Can you believe this? It's a no idea. It's time to dominate your fantasy league. Off to the races, and he stays on his feet.
Starting point is 00:01:13 It's just going to go the distance. Now here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie, and Heath. It's bailback time. What's up, everybody? Welcome to you. You have one of those? No way. We both do.
Starting point is 00:01:28 Where'd you get them from? This is a piece of medical tape that I cut up. Jamie's looks real. Jamie went shopping, yeah. Oh, wow. All right. I should have brought mine on the show. Now I actually feel comfortable in wearing it now that you two have done so.
Starting point is 00:01:44 I mean, this is amazing, right? Can you actually breathe with that thing? It's unreal. It's so much better. I mean, I have a deviated side. One septum is entirely deviated. The other septum is half deviated. I've never breathed like this before.
Starting point is 00:01:56 This is amazing. I'm going to go golfing in it. I'm going to go shopping in it. Welcome to a lot. fantasy football today presented by bet m gm make it legendary and welcome to the bail bag surprise nose trip day here uh the reason the reason i was late is actually it's a uh tan um nostrip i'd color it that's why i took so oh yeah mine's not quite as visible it was uh that's like my magnets on the fridge sadly i shouldn't even brought those up as i did suffer my first loss in the
Starting point is 00:02:22 bake burger league oh i'm so sorry to hear that buddy it's better than scoring 16 points a week like you do, Adam. I actually scored zero points last week in the Bakeburger League, so... Oh, good for you. You're a real fun team. And I'm tanking in my other Dynasty League. Oh, great. So you're just in full tank mode and all dynastly. Good luck in that of that. Yeah, it sucks. It's the worst. Tanking never works. It's better on paper than it actually is in dynasty. Okay. Can I do my Adam impression now that you did your... Yes, please. Oh, you have one? This comes in before you even arrived here today, Jamie. He's wearing a hoodie over his It looks totally just depressed and dejecting.
Starting point is 00:03:02 I have a huge headache today. I don't sound anything like that. That was a bad impression, but that is what you said. It was really funny, though. I have a huge headache today. Basically what it was. All right. I do have a headache and a stomach.
Starting point is 00:03:21 I always get a stomachache and a headache at the same time. It's really bad. But anyway, we're going to start with your YouTube questions. We've got your emails at Fantasy Football. CBSI.com, the letter I, fantasy football at CBSI.com, fantasy cops, Apple podcast, Spotify, and more YouTube. I'm lightheaded right now. This is going to be a tough show. All right. Let's start with YouTube here. All right. I lost Tucker Craft. Should I trade Josh Jacobs for Sequin, Barclay, and O'Ronday Gadsden. Yes. Yeah. What? Yeah, do that. Smash that like
Starting point is 00:03:55 button. Yes, please hit the like button. We really appreciate it. Dead Ringer, Dad. Here's was actually really good of me. His impression was terrible. What are you guys talking about? You didn't even hear me complain about the headache. They've heard you complain so much in the past that's ingrained in their minds. Henderson or Travis E.T.N. PPR.
Starting point is 00:04:20 I'm going to go, Anderson. Yeah, I'll take Anderson there. It's tougher for me. It's close in PPR. Okay, both of them going up against tough run defenses. Camara or Kyle Pitts, half PPR. Anybody but Camara at this point. Yeah, Pitt.
Starting point is 00:04:39 This is really bothering me, this nose thing. Yours isn't good. Like, Jamie has the real one. You want it to be the magnetic one that pulls it apart. There's a lot of science behind it that I've studied. By study, I mean, watch the 30-second Instagram video and got immediately hooked and quick bye. Oh, no. They get me so bad.
Starting point is 00:04:57 I'm one of the worst when it comes to these Instagram ads. I am so bad. That is bad. Yeah, you got to, yeah. Menongai. For all things I need. Menongai, Alec Pierce, or Darius Slayton, pick one. P.
Starting point is 00:05:11 This is so good. Manongai. Adam got a team of nose trip. Menongai over Pearson Slayton. That's risky, Jamie. Why is it risky? Well, if he goes back to his old role, you know, that could be nine carries, one or two catches.
Starting point is 00:05:31 I would go Alec Pierce. I didn't realize Pierce was that. I go Slayton. Slayton was my other choice. Sleep. What do we? We're not on on Pierce? Why are we out on Pierce?
Starting point is 00:05:43 Well, first off, he, he's had two good games in his last three. One was without Josh Downs on the field. This is a much tougher secondary that he's facing than he faced last week because the Steelers were just abysmal. And so I would just view it as Slayton's matchups much better. If he caught the two touchdowns that he should have caught the last two weeks, I think we'd have a much different view of Darius. I know you don't because you're obviously studying the Giants as much as anybody,
Starting point is 00:06:06 but I think perception of it is like he's been bad. Like if he catches the 68-yard interference counts and the 34-year-ard dart that dart through to him, he catches like he's had two big games in the rugby. That's fair. I mean, on that, I just like Pierce a lot in fantasy. I like Pierce too. I just don't think this is the weak to trust him because it's not a dome situation for Daniel Jones.
Starting point is 00:06:28 This has not been when he's thrives. And the Falcons for what it's worth, their secondaries play ball. All right. That's a good point about the dome. Jones outside of a dome is an ugly sight. Oops, I shouldn't have said that I'm not supposed to say anything bad about him anymore.
Starting point is 00:06:41 My bad. He's amazing. I forgot. Is that right? I just can't. At this point, I get buried by people for it. Khalil Shakir or Alec Pierce?
Starting point is 00:06:52 I go Shakir. I just think I get the Pierce issues and obviously last week was outside of a dome and he's still produced. I just think from watching the two games of tape I watch on the Colts offense, it's so defined, like his role is so defined. He's outside boundary receiver and there is just nothing out there but a corner playing 10 to 20 yards off the ball because he has to because he never has safety help. The entire defense is just so glued in on the run game and then taking away Warren and taking away Pittman on the other side. He's just backside X or Z one on one. So it's just like they run go, they run comeback, deep curl with him, and they run deep out. And he's got a one-on-one.
Starting point is 00:07:27 He's got a ton of space. The corner's an awful leverage. Listen, I don't disagree. He's yet to score touchdown this season. Yeah, touchdown's right. And, you know, it could be a two-catch 60-yard day for him. It could definitely be. That's totally fair.
Starting point is 00:07:44 He doesn't get the extra. Yep. All right. Would you trade Drake London for in an 18-team league? Well, London for Travian-Henderson. and Ladd-McConkey. No. I don't think you want to do that at this moment
Starting point is 00:07:56 just because Henderson is starting to really get to the point where he should take over the backfield. No, he's saying the opposite. He's trading London to get Henderson and McConkey. Oh, no, right? Yeah. Yes. So aren't you saying, you're speaking for Henderson?
Starting point is 00:08:09 Which side would you rather have London or Henderson and McConkey? In an 18-team league, I'd rather have Henderson and McConkey. I'd rather have London still. I think London is consistent. I think, to be fair, like I play in a 20, I think it's 20 teams. a 20-team league where you start one receiver, one running back, one tight end, and two flexes. So the lineup's very small. So if that's the same type of situation, then you want to have the best player.
Starting point is 00:08:34 If it's a typical lineup, I'd rather have a little bit more options. Man, two games are more than 30 fantasy points for Drake London. Three games of 25 or more. The other four games are kind of crap, though. Start Debo Samuel, Jordan Addison, or Tyler Warren in PPR. I think it's Warren for me. Are you sure it's Tyler Warren? No.
Starting point is 00:08:58 Oh, if it's Jalen, then it's definitely Jalen Warren for me. I would start either Warren and Addison. Over Debo, okay. A.J. Brown or Wondale Robinson? What happened there? I was trying to put up a funny column, my bed. A.J. Brown or Wondell Robinson, PPR. A.J. Brown?
Starting point is 00:09:16 Yeah, A.J. Brown. Although I like both. Daniel Jones or Brock Purdy. Rock Pretty's not playing, is he? I don't think we know if Purdy's playing yet. So if Purdy plays, I'd still go Jones. So I go Jones, no matter why. I don't want to put Purdy back in with it, chance of reaggravation in game.
Starting point is 00:09:33 Okay, let's read some news here. I'm just going to read from my phone. Ramandre Stevenson, not stretching at practice. This just came in. Also, Kashan Booty, Christian Ellis. Looks like the Patriots are probably going to be without Ramandre Stevenson, Kisham booty, and linebacker Christian Ellis. Let's see.
Starting point is 00:09:50 We've got Arizona has Mac Wilson, one of their better linebackers and two cornerbacks out. So that is going to help Sam Darnel. That is going to help the Seahawks offense. Arizona's pretty beat up going into this game. It looks like the Giants are not going to have their center. John Michael Smith, but they've been better. They've been like fine without them. And they're probably not going to have their kicker Graham Ganoe.
Starting point is 00:10:16 So it looks like Young Way Coo is going to be kicking for them. Um, and there was one. Oh, James Cook is good to go. Nice. Uh, you want more Patriots, though? Uh, Aaron Glenn said, yes, in one minute. Aaron Glenn says he knows who his quarterback is going to be, but he won't tell us because he doesn't have to.
Starting point is 00:10:36 That's from Connor Hughes. Uh, Rich and Minnie just said, obviously it's going to, obviously that's a nod towards Fields. Oh, okay. Bill's defense is a little beat up this week. Uh, I'm reluctantly streaming them as a DST. and okay that's what i got what do you got from the patriots uh no khan booty either i practice i said that i said that twice oh i'm sorry i pulled it dave um and an adam and an adam uh thought
Starting point is 00:11:06 there was one more oh uh matt lafleur just said that jacob's dealing with the calf injury says he feels great so that's a big plus we're definitely a different team when he's fully involved in our offense and we've got to make and we got to make him the focal point whether he's getting the ball or not. That's good because it really has been a decrease in the touches. And, you know, there's been an increase in Emmanuel Wilson's work, certainly, since this calf injury started. By the way, Adam, did you pull the no strip mid-episode?
Starting point is 00:11:37 Yeah, it was really annoying. You got to be dedicated to the bit. If you're going to do a bit, you can't just bail out of the bit at any point. This reminds me at the time during draft. I have a headache. I have a headache, Dan. Give me a break. Yeah, that's you.
Starting point is 00:11:49 Yeah. do this reminds me the time during draftathon where you said we get to a thousand likes I will shave something on the side of my head you got to a thousand likes the time came and all the sudden your wife was on an important business call at 1030 p.m. on a on a Wednesday night you have spoken to her directly about this and she confirmed the veracity of that I don't know that if she was coerced or not you almost dropped the effort there too no I didn't no I did not I don't if she was coerced into agreeing to that before I met her. Like, there's a very good chance
Starting point is 00:12:23 that you got involved. She wasn't. By the way, Dan, I have a couple of dad jokes for you. Oh, no. Someone wrote in with this. They better be good this time. They're always good. It said something like if, oh, here we go. If pilgrims were alive
Starting point is 00:12:39 today, what would they be known for? I don't care. What? Their age. I don't care. Their age. those are alive today what would they be known for their age because they'd be like really really old several hundred years old that's one of the worst ones we've tried this give me another give me another Jamie it has to be like an innuendo to it or like a two
Starting point is 00:13:07 like it doesn't make sense oh baby no it doesn't you don't get you just don't get the how no I don't get I don't get if if I like golf what would I know him for a golfer new balls every day. What would I be known for? I like golf. Give me some kind of two. Look, the fence joke was funny, right? I'm on the fence. That's good. Like, you get it. Like, you're a fence company. Hold on. Jamie, can you tell the joke that you texted me last night? Give me something decent to work with. I have it. Why is the sand at the beach always wet, Dan? I don't know. Seweed. Because the seaweed. Because the seaweed? Yeah, like. the seaweed, like, peed. That's why the sands always go out. Oh, I guess that's a little better because it has something to it.
Starting point is 00:13:58 This Pilgrim's joke is amazing. The Pilgrim joke is so bad. It's beyond bleak. Oh, because they've been around for a while. You could say that about anything. That's terrible. But you, the fence joke was good. You understand what I'm looking for.
Starting point is 00:14:09 I'm looking for something like that. The setup of the joke. You're looking for a poem. Yeah, something decent, Jamie. Like, oh, I'm on the fence. You get it. You're a fence company. and you're trying to build a fence and I'm on the fences and I don't know if I want to do it.
Starting point is 00:14:22 Like that makes sense as a dad joke. Dan, that's a pun. And it was, it was mine. Right. I thought that jokes were supposed to be about puns, not just saying, getting obvious things. No, what are pilgrims, know, what would they be known for? You're thinking, oh, okay, what did pilgrims do that they'd be famous for somebody?
Starting point is 00:14:37 Their age, it was such a hilarious setup, a great joke. All right, listen. Let me, let me tell me about bad MGM, all right? All right, that was about bad MGM. Picture this. You bet on your favorite player to score the first touchdown in the game. His teammate scores instead. If this happens,
Starting point is 00:14:56 BetMGM wants to give you another chance at the end zone. With BetMGM's second chance promotion, you'll get your stake back if your first touchdown score is second instead. That's right. Bet on any pro football player to score the first touchdown of the game. If you're right, you win. If your player scores second, you get your stake back in cash. With BetMGM's second chance offer,
Starting point is 00:15:16 you have a chance to keep the fun going. after the first player crosses the goal line. Try a first touchdown score or wager with confidence today. Bet MGM, make it legendary. Boy, dealing with this guy is just difficult. All right, we're going to take a break. Talking about me? I know.
Starting point is 00:15:34 We're going to take a break. What kind of comment was that? Oh, my God. I only want to show up on time today. All right, we'll take a break. We'll be right back. I was just kidding, Dad. I can't believe you don't understand the dad.
Starting point is 00:15:47 I don't understand what. I just don't understand what makes that funny. Like, to me, like, again, a pun can make something funny or other, there are plenty of things that make me laugh. So he's got to go one in the chat. Which one? Yeah, let's hear one that could be decent. The dinosaur one?
Starting point is 00:16:04 Yeah. Now, this is bad. Like, this is the one that I understand Dan would, would not like. No, that actually is somewhat funny. What? Not really, but like, I get it. Why can't dinosaurs? Why can't they do it?
Starting point is 00:16:16 Because they're extinct. Why can't that? Hold on. Let me read it. Let me read it. Why can't dinosaurs clap their hands? Because they're extinct. It's terrible. At least it's something.
Starting point is 00:16:27 That Pilgrim's one, man. That was really bad. Oh, God. Pilgrim's one really hurt. It was just so bad. All right. We'll be right back on fantasy football today. I have to tell you about this game-changing product I use before a night out drinking.
Starting point is 00:16:41 It's called pre-alcohol. Z-biotic pre-alcohol drink is the world's first genetically engineered probiotic. Here's how it works. When you drink, alcohol gets converted into a toxic byproduct in the gut. It's a buildup of this byproduct, not dehydration. That's the blame for those rough days after drinking. Pre-alcohol produces an enzyme to break this byproduct down. Just remember to make pre-alcohol your first drink of the night.
Starting point is 00:17:04 Drink responsibly, and you'll feel your best tomorrow. A couple weeks back, saw my morning jacket at the Brooklyn Paramount, but I had an early morning tea time the next day all the way in New Jersey. Had my pre-biotic, pre-alcohol, went out, enjoyed the concept, I woke up the next morning, got to the tea time, in time, and pared the first hole. Make the most of every toast, tailgate, and touch down this holiday season. Just don't forget to bring pre-alcohol along for the ride. Go to zbiotics.com slash fFT to learn more and get 15% off your first order when you use FFT at checkout.

Starting point is 00:18:03 We'd love to talk. Business. Now streaming on Paramount Plus, it's the epic return of Mayor of Kingstown. Warden? You know who I am. Starring Academy Award nominee Jeremy Runner. I swear in these walls. Emmy Award winner E.D. Falco. You're an ex-con who ran this place for years.
Starting point is 00:18:23 And now, now you can't do that. And Bafto Award winner Lenny James. You're about to have a plague of outsiders descend on your town. Let me tell you this. It's going to be consequences. Mayor of Kingstown, new season now streaming on Paramount Plus. We have a new producer. I want to make this clear, by the way.
Starting point is 00:18:41 J&B says Dan comes out of the womb, grumpy. I'm not a grumpy person. Just because I don't appreciate or like dad jokes, It doesn't make me grumpy. I'm pretty happy person in general in life. But I'm just trying to come to terms with why these are funny because they just don't, they just don't sound funny to me. Like, did anyone laugh when you said the program joke?
Starting point is 00:18:58 No. But then you're supposed to be like, oh, you get it. It's funny. That doesn't make something funny. Like, that's not. Like, funny is when people lash. You want to know what's funny? There was a basketball game yesterday.
Starting point is 00:19:10 I saw highlight. Once the team got to 67 points, all the kids in the crowd went crazy because of 6-7. That is what we're being overtaken by these days. Yeah, I've just given up on the six, seven thing. I don't understand and I don't want to. Yeah, I wouldn't try to explain it to you. I don't want it. Email is a fantasy football at cbsi.com.
Starting point is 00:19:28 I was going to say, we have a new producer today. Her name is Emma. She's never met us before. This is her first interaction with us, and she thinks we're insane. So, welcome to the show. I got to go on you, sir. Okay. I lost the dictionary, and my wife asked me to look upstairs.
Starting point is 00:19:43 I was like, I can't look up anything. All right. Andrew says, pick one for a flex. Tyrone Tracy. Sorry. Whoa. Okay. What was that? Tyrone, Tracy, Zach Charbonnet or Woody Marks?
Starting point is 00:20:03 Or drop one of them and add and flex, Dalton Kincaid. Tracy, Charbonnet, Woody Marks, or Kincaid. Kincaid. And as far as who I would drop, I would drop. Marks. Marks, I was going to say. I would drop Tracy. It could be Tracy, honestly.
Starting point is 00:20:20 From Michael, Ken Walker or Kamani Vidal? Walker. Walker's fine, sure. By the way, Dan, what do you think happened with, Jamie asked me this on Monday, I think. I didn't know. Do you think Tracy got benched for Singletary last week? Oh, as far as, like, what happened? No, I think specifically, like, they're just planning to play Singletary more than we expected.
Starting point is 00:20:45 that everyone expected the role would turn back to Tracy. It never like he had the role last year and he lost it toward the end of the year when he fumbled. And then he had a pretty bad start to the game. So they just gave it a singletary. I'll just say this like they're different runners. Tracy needs more of a I feel like Tracy needs to get going in like, um, in flow. I also think the blocking the way it's been struggling up front to create any yards before contact. It's a better fit for Singletary.
Starting point is 00:21:08 He's better at jump cuts. He's better at creating more in between the tackles. Tracy's more like a head of steam type of runner. it's just not working for him right now Singletary also is one of these guys it was kind of the I kept saying this at the start of the season about why Naji Harris
Starting point is 00:21:22 I didn't think he was going to go away is he's a veteran guy that just does things right that doesn't do anything explosive so Dable trusts him he knows that if he needs him to do something minimal he'll get the minimal
Starting point is 00:21:35 he just won't get the maximum all right from Jared I have Ken Walker Zach Charbonnet Aaron Jones and both Bears running backs I need to start three of them. So both Seahawks, both bears
Starting point is 00:21:46 and Aaron Jones. Pick three. Both bears and Aaron Jones. What are the other options again? I'm in with both bears. What's the options I have instead of Jones? It's either Walker, Charbonnet, or Aaron Jones. I'll go Walker. I don't love it, but at some
Starting point is 00:22:04 point he's got to break a long touchdown run. Can we just play the Dave clip again? What was it? I said, Dave said, I'm going to start Walker because is exactly what you just said. One of these weeks, he's going to do something. I said, we say the same thing every week. Every week.
Starting point is 00:22:19 I said one of us, it wasn't picking on Dave. It said one of us says this every week and every week we're always wrong. Yeah. Okay. Next email is from Nathan. I've been offered Woody Marks for Tijey Spears straight up. 14 team half PPR Keeper League. Both would carry 10th round value next year.
Starting point is 00:22:38 Woody marks for Tajey Spears. Who would you rather have? Oh, boy. I don't know if either one will ever be the featured option on their team. I would have more faith in Woody Marks simply because I expect his head coach to be there. We do not know what the next head coach is going to be for the Titans and what anything that might look like aside from Cam Award as the quarterback. All right. This is from Wesley.
Starting point is 00:23:01 I traded Brian Thomas Jr. for Troy Franklin before last night's game. I don't think I'm crazy for doing it. What do you all think? I think you could have gotten more. in redraft i i i would have said no but i mean obviously production's production at some point you know brian thomas just not getting the job done now there's another mouth to feed in that offense and when hunter comes back if he does come back it's going to be a really tough target crunch
Starting point is 00:23:27 so maybe it works out for you but you know these are the type of trades like you look back and say ha ha ha i was right yeah but going in you're like what are you crazy um okay sorry i'm reading these terrible dad jokes in the chat let's go back to the emails from michael so oh oh so your dad jokes are amazing but these ones in the chat are terrible i only tell the funny ones from like like this i guarantee you at least two of every five in the chat are funnier than the pilgrim one from michael i'd like to start out by saying the reheat method is a winner i even started to recommend this technique to my friends and they agree what's that i think that's what you said leave oh my spread it around the thing. That's awesome. There we go. I'm getting a win here.
Starting point is 00:24:13 There you guys. That's for your ego. Pick one to start. I don't have the format, but Jalen Warren, Jordan Addison, Quentin Johnston. Warren. Jalen Warren. Who? Jordan Addison, Quentin Johnston. Warren is the safest, yes. From Dennis. Good morning. Breathe right. Equate. ZZZ Quill and high strips. who do I start at PPR Khalil Shakir or Rashad White
Starting point is 00:24:44 I know Rashad White Yeah Could also go with any of these four Vidal, Fanon, Goddard, Jouan Jennings Who Maybe Vidal But I think I would just stick With where we're at
Starting point is 00:25:00 I'd go Quentin Johnson Cousin Ernest with a decent Dad joke Okay, it's Jamie I'm very happy that you'd go Quinn Johnston. Unfortunately, he's not part of this question. What did you say?
Starting point is 00:25:14 I said, Vidal, Fanon, Goddard, Joanne Jennings. I thought he said are one of the other guys. Yeah, Khalil Shakir, Rashad White. Oh, I was on the previous question. I'm sorry. Rashad White over Khalil Shakir, and then tell me the game.
Starting point is 00:25:27 So Rashad, White, Khalil Shakir, or any of these four. Vidal, Fanon, Goddard, Juan Jennings. Fanon, if he plays, if not, Juan Jennings. All right. I think people might be, wait, you're saying Fanon or Juan Jennings over Rashad White? No, Rashad White and then Fanon.
Starting point is 00:25:48 But it's not that. Basically, he asked the question in a very weird way. He had six options and needed one. Your answer is Rashad White. I think that people kind of feel like Rashad White is going to have, well, I think people might think that Sean Tucker's not going to have much of a role, which was the case in the first three games without. Bucket Irving, I think. Last week without Bucket Irving or two weeks ago without Bucking Irving, he was the goal line back.
Starting point is 00:26:13 Well, he worked in at the goal line. He got a lot of carries. I don't know what's going to happen, but Rashad White's thought. I don't, I don't love Rashad White. I have Rashad White as a start and starts it mostly because of what I'm expecting him to do in PPR. This Patriots defense has been miserable against past catching running backs. Miserable.
Starting point is 00:26:32 They've allowed eight receptions to running back groups per week. in the last four games. 32 receptions in the last four games. So if there's a chance for Ashad White to win, it is going to be based on what he does as a pass catcher. Will that be a lot? I don't know. He's been basically four catches a game.
Starting point is 00:26:51 So if he can get four catches for 40 some odd yards, maybe, let's just say, be optimistic. Four for 30, gets you 30, 40 yards on the ground, has a chance to score. It's going to be around 11 p.PR points. Okay. This is from Todd. I'm considering starting the Ravens'
Starting point is 00:27:07 defense while my opponent is starting J.J. McCarthy. Do you guys ever care about that? No. Not to me. No, it doesn't matter. Not to me, no. No, I mean, you know, it's obviously if you could avoid it, you want to avoid it, because
Starting point is 00:27:23 you're basically... Sorry, Harold Fanon's back at practice. Not good for my Nooku share. You're upset about it. That's a reaction from you that you're not going to get me. This is sad what league is that is this what league is that Tucker craft league
Starting point is 00:27:40 is super flex I think you still get by with my joku as a starter I think it's probably yeah I mean I'm still gonna start him but I thought maybe you could have a huge week fanning around but huge week with Dylan Gabriel in what world in the world where Dylan Gabriel throws five yards to his tight ends on 50% of his dropbacks I mean the best game that fanning had was without the joku so it could have easily gone the other way yeah okay sorry about that harrow fan and junior I'm happy you're back this is from Todd oh no I just read that one. From Jake, pick two. Teteroa McMillan, Keenan Allen, Jalen Waddle, Jalen Waddle, Debo, Samuel, Samuel,
Starting point is 00:28:14 Samuel, Samuel, Pek two. Jalen Waddle. Jalen Waddle and... Tett, for me. Oroa. Yeah. I'll go McMillan, yeah. I don't feel good about Samuel at all. This one is interesting from Ches, PPR, Marvin Harrison, Jr., or Derek Henry? It's Chess. Henry, for sure. I've been trying to trade for Henry a lot this week.
Starting point is 00:28:42 See what I can get. Their schedule is so nice down the stretch, man. Have you seen the Ravens schedule? I feel like trading for all Ravens right now is just an absolutely great move to make. Okay. If you can. The guys, the three players I want to trade for
Starting point is 00:28:56 are hopefully super cheap on Cortland Sutton. He still has a buy coming up. Boo. And, oh, I'm pretty excited about a boo. I think he's going to have a big fish. Oh, yeah, yeah. And Romodunzei. I'm in on the Guka one.
Starting point is 00:29:12 I'm not sure on O'Donzei. What makes you high on that one? Not so high. I just think he's going to be a number two receiver and people are really frustrated because he's been bad in three of his last four games. But he's super talented. He's an end zone target,
Starting point is 00:29:26 consistent end zone target. I just, you know, I'm just buying Romodunze. I'd have to look at the schedule and make sure they don't have a bunch of outdoor cold weather games down the stretch, which they might. fact let's do that but abuka it would be my i would think my favorite bilo right now the sudden one you said the bucks news yeah the sudden one scares me them just actually before i say that what's the
Starting point is 00:29:51 news just for people who don't know it let's say it oh godwin not expected to be back until late november early december if anything yeah i think that injury is real bad we'll see what happens that was one of those like i'm asking for a friend things there uh what's the news that i don't know Tell everybody. No, I knew. I knew. I think Dan thought there might be different news. No one could prove if I knew that or not.
Starting point is 00:30:12 There's no way to prove that. But I will say this as far as Sutton goes, you're dealing with Bo Nix. And I think those of us who watched last night and those who watched tape of Bo Nix this year have a very different opinion on Bo Nix than the stats say or what the public perception is of Nix. The numbers, they're really bad. As far as accuracy on the 20 plus yard range, no one's been worse than Bo NICS. nix 10 to 19 yards not great either where does sutton win he wins vertical and he wins on those dig routes those deep in cuts that's not an area of the field nicks is throwing well maybe that will improve as the season goes on i don't know he looks wildly uncomfortable in the pocket they were
Starting point is 00:30:53 speaking on it last night but his footwork is just so bad in the pocket and that's what he says he likes to do he says he likes to keep his feet moving in the pocket that doesn't seem to be a good recipe for accuracy now nicks is a good thrower when he's all when he gets out of the pocket things on the move. But that's like a few plays a game. And that's not really good for Sutton. So I'm out on that Sutton call based on that. But just to add to something I said earlier, here's the Raven schedule I was referencing. They have two more games against the Bengals elite. They have a game against the Jets defense that just traded away their two best players. That's an elite matchup. They have a Steelers defense game, which I think they'll dominate. I know Steelers played well last week, but I don't
Starting point is 00:31:30 think they're going to continue that. And then it gets a little tougher. They have, or I have two more Steelers, I should say. They also have a Patriots and a Packers in there. But, man, two bangles, two Steelers and a Jets, that's really good for Baltimore. Okay. And then for O'Don's Day, he does have, yeah, it's not great. It's at, you know, at Philadelphia, week 13, at Philadelphia, at Green Bay, Cleveland at home, Green Bay at at San Francisco. A lot of cold weather outdoor games there. So we have to, I don't think about that. Just try to take advantage of a panicking manager. because he's obviously going to be better than this.
Starting point is 00:32:07 All right, let's try to go rapid fire here from Mike. Great the trade. I trade Gentie and Wondale for A. Chan and Benson. Oh, I love that trade. Gentie and Wondale for A. Chan and Benson. I love that trade. Yeah. That's amazing trade.
Starting point is 00:32:29 Sal is in a 10-team half-PPR league. give up ETN Abuca Waddle and Myers ETN Abuka
Starting point is 00:32:42 Waddle and Myers for Sequin and Devante Adams Yeah Yeah Unreal trade by you A plus You're a little too excited
Starting point is 00:32:51 about it A plus So Abuca Who was after Abuca before Myers Yeah ETN
Starting point is 00:32:57 Abuka Wadle Myers for Barkley and Adams Three for two essentially I mean unless you think Myers can do something there. I do think it's in the favor of the two players,
Starting point is 00:33:08 but I don't think it's a slam dunk. Agreed. B-minus. Full PPR, who should I sit, Vidal, Slayton, or Alec Pierce? I would sit Slayton. Slate's my favorite. I would sit Vidal. I'm okay with sitting Vidal as well, though. I mean, I don't think that the production is going to be what people think
Starting point is 00:33:27 offensively in this giant spares game. That's my prediction of the show, and we'll see if I'm right or wrong, but I think this game is rejected for a lot of points. Both defenses suck, but the weather will destroy the offense in that game. That's just my early prediction for that game. That's a concern.
Starting point is 00:33:41 Definitely a concern. All right, a couple dad jokes before we get to the fantasy cops here from Daryl. Why can't you go hungry at the beach? Because all of the sandwich is there. Not bad. Sandwich is there. It's not terrible.
Starting point is 00:33:57 It's not good. He even put in parentheses, sandwiches, Dan. I don't need that, Darrell. I don't need that, Darrell. It's not that I don't get these jokes. Dan, I'm not going to display this on the screen, but why, because I don't want you to see the punchline,
Starting point is 00:34:11 why don't scientists trust Adams? Because they make up everything. Oh, God, because Adams make up everything. That's not terrible. That's not terrible. That's decent. Look on your face was terrible, though, when you had to figure out. It's just not fun.
Starting point is 00:34:29 Like, it's not good. It's better. It's better. And Jamie, why don't you go ahead and explain that joke just for the people out there who don't understand it? All right. We'll be right back with the fantasy cops on fantasy football today. Boarding for flight 246 to Toronto is delayed 50 minutes. What?
Starting point is 00:34:50 Sounds like Ojo time. Play Ojo? Great idea. Feel the fun with all the latest slots in live casino games and with no wagering requirements. What you win is yours to keep groovy. I won! Feel the fun. Boating will begin when passenger

Starting point is 00:35:21 The new iPhone 17 Pro on Tullis' five-year rate plan price lock. Yep, it's the most powerful iPhone ever. Plus, more peace of mind with your bill over five. years this is big get the new iPhone 17 pro at tellus.com slash iPhone 17 pro on select plans conditions and exclusions apply all right fantasy cops oh wait can I can I share something sort of personal fantasy football related so I just want to say right this is important because there's a league I have a couple of friends in this league and there was a trade that happened that is fracturing the league and leading to some no i don't love it at all it's it's bad like it's bad
Starting point is 00:36:03 to see people spiraling you know getting upset about it and i get it's a i love a good fantasy spiral via dm or what is it via email or text no it's text i mean these are friends in the league you know and it's like it's getting a little geez dan why are you celebrating that we don't want that i love i love a good spiral nope everybody loves this is the best part about fantasy i mean look i saw some of the text messages. This guy, six and three team, traded with a two and seven team.
Starting point is 00:36:32 Yeah, never good. But the two and 17 is not a lit, they're not eliminated from the playoffs. They're still alive. They have Jamar Chase, who's on a buy. They have Ramandre Stevenson who's out.
Starting point is 00:36:42 So they traded Jamar Chase and Stevenson to a six and three team for Chris Olave, Ameca, Abuka, Trevion Henderson, and D'Andre Swift. No, that's perfectly fine.
Starting point is 00:36:57 I don't even know that the guy who got Chase made a good trade, the six and three team. Anyway, many members of the league are flipping out. They don't want this guy to have Chase because he has rice and lamb. I referenced this earlier in the week. But I'm just saying you need to have a steadfast, hard rule here. If a team is not eliminated from playoff contention, they can make trades. It doesn't matter that he's two and seven. He still has a shot.
Starting point is 00:37:25 And also the only reason to veto trades Would be a playoff team eliminated made a trade Or there's collusion And if you just live by those rules Right Then you won't have this stress You just accept the trades And I don't want the six and three
Starting point is 00:37:41 Sorry I'm almost done I don't want the six and three team To have Jamar Chase is never a good enough reason To veto a trade And then it's the worst reason to veto a trade actually And then the six and three team Who made the trade and got Chase did troll the chat, the group.
Starting point is 00:37:58 I saw the text he sent. He sent like a lot of AI chat GPG images of like Jbar Chase joining his team. Good for him. Yeah, he rubbed it in a little, but Jamie, what were you going to say? No, no, no, no, that was great by him. What were you going to say, Jamie? And it's supposed to be about everybody else in the league is pissed? Not everybody, but like four.
Starting point is 00:38:17 It got four vetoes and needed five to be overturned. Ugh. Disgusting. Discuss. This is a great example. This whole fantasy cops is a great example of people like me, and I see some people in the chat, those are my people, say that there should be no vetoes unless there's collusion or you have another good reason I think is actually fair, which is if you're eliminated for the playoffs. Because the fact that a trade like this, where Buka has been so good and will be so good rest of season, now we have the Godwin news that I knew about for sure. I just want to let Jamie let everyone else know about. last year getting two backs Henderson who's on trending up and Swift will be back next week that trade should never be vetoed the fact that it got four vetoes proves that these people vetoing are just vetoing it because they don't want because they're unhappy that one team
Starting point is 00:39:02 improved via the trade and we'll be getting chased it's a perfect example why veto should never happen that's it this is it I'll bring this up in the future too this is the league you're in or it's the league that that my tennis coach is but the two tennis coaches like my old one they're in it and they text me about it all the time and like it felt like it was getting a little too heated and i just don't want to see that happen you know in a league and i i get it like you're playing in a league you think something unfair happened but if you just have i i agree but if you just have guidelines for what constitutes a vetoable trade you won't run into this problem you just accept them which is the way it should be so that's why we always say we
Starting point is 00:39:41 we only veto for collusion or it has to be such an egregious trade that it breaks the of the league or something like that. And that's not even close to the case here. We had an issue in a league where don't say the site because I don't want to embarrass anybody, but Dan was in, but he's no longer in, where somebody, thank God, dropped a player they said was by mistake. And then asked me and said, oh, crap, I didn't mean to drop that player. It was a week later.
Starting point is 00:40:14 Yeah. A week later? No, no, no, no, no. A week, no. A player was on a buy. No. And I said, I can't help you. I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:40:24 Yeah, no, no. Literally, if you told me within a day or two, I would have said, oh, okay, honest to say, I get a week later. He went to go set his lineup. And I was like, why is he not there? I thought he was on my bench. And I was like, no. Yeah, no, you know what? It's actually, I don't know what happened here.
Starting point is 00:40:44 Our first fantasy cops is about something very similar, but the first, this hilarious, impromptu dad joke from Mike, the tennis boys don't, the tennis boys don't love each other, I guess. That's good. All right. That's good. Fantasy cops. What world is that good? I feel like I have been wrong in my league. I'm in a waiver wire priority league where I had the number three priority and I had a claim in for Luke Musgrave.
Starting point is 00:41:10 Oh, man. At 10.46 p.m. Tuesday night, Jake Ferguson was dropped. So I canceled my Musgrave waiver priority to save it for a chance at getting Jake Ferguson. And I put a claim in for Ferguson. Just two hours later, at 12.50 a.m., Jake Ferguson got re-added to the team who originally dropped him. And since it was after midnight, I could not go back and put a claim in for Musgrave. I immediately messaged the commissioner, who is my brother, and asked what happened.
Starting point is 00:41:39 He said the Ferguson manager He dropped him by accident So he gave him back But I explained how that screwed me over Because I changed my waiver claim Based on the fact that I thought I could get Ferguson So I asked the commissioner Since I was third on the priority list
Starting point is 00:41:54 If the two guys ahead of me don't get Musgrave I should be awarded Musgrave He said no And of course Musgrave went to somebody Who had a lower waiver wire priority than me Should I be awarded Musgrave? Should Ferguson have given I've been given back to the manager.
Starting point is 00:42:11 Am I just screwed here? Please help. Ferguson should have been getting back to the manager if they corrected it within sounds like an appropriate amount of time. You know, unfortunately, again, I think we had this with when Dan hated truck drivers that, you know, sometimes.
Starting point is 00:42:26 I did not hate truck drivers. You're making a mistake. You know, you shouldn't be doing ad drops while you're driving, but people do. Yeah. Hit the wrong button. People do. We're not excusing this.
Starting point is 00:42:36 What do you mean? You shouldn't be doing any of this while you're driving. Agreed. Should he have been given Musgrave? I think, so this is a Tuesday waiver run league. Yeah. So the easy fix could have just been, hey, this Ferguson thing screwed up everybody with their waiver claims or screwed up at least one manager waiver claims. We're going to rerun waivers on Wednesday and allow everybody to go back and put their claims in.
Starting point is 00:43:02 The person writing us puts himself or herself at risk of the first two people claiming Musgrave. now, you know, if that's the case. But I don't think it's fair to necessarily punish this person, but also take Musgrave off the other team. So if there's no solution, I think you just got screwed. Yeah, agreed. It's very tough. And it's because if you give, if you were to just say,
Starting point is 00:43:28 okay, yeah, you get Musgrave because you had the third claim, whatever, then it just screws up everything else after that, right? Because the person who that must grave is going to say, well, I put in a claim for this person. Yeah. It's a, yeah. All right. So in the interest of saving time, because we,
Starting point is 00:43:39 went on a little bit of a tangent, Dan. Let's go to the next one more quick tangent here. Something very important, I have to discuss. That's not actually important at all. But it does clarify how I feel and why I'm so frustrated about these dad jokes. Fristrate. Yeah, it wasn't a good pronunciation. That was very Avril Lavigne of you right there.
Starting point is 00:43:54 So, you know, you made the joke where it's just so basically like, oh, the word love in tennis is like a score and it's also like to love something. You're just doing a double meaning. It's not funny. But, but like there are versions of dad jokes that I love and they're dependent on the delivery. And someone in the chat did a great job of explaining this. And now I feel so seen and heard. Mitch Hedberg, a comedian I love, he did a bunch of dad jokes.
Starting point is 00:44:17 Those were hilarious. I listen to those. I crack up. It's a natural crack up. It's very funny. That's what a dad joke should be. Go listen to Mitch Hedberg. The way he delivers the joke, it's all on the delivery, basically, a dad joke.
Starting point is 00:44:29 So you want a good dad joke, go listen to Mitch Hedberg. You want to hear bad dad jokes? Come join the mail back. Just so we're clear, a professional comedian telling jokes is funnier. than us. Well, it's not that. It's like one is funny, one is not. One makes you laugh.
Starting point is 00:44:44 The other is just like, oh, the word love means two things. Oh, man. That's more of a pun than a dad joke. By the way, uh, I'm so frustrated by this. So frustrated by all of this. Adam hates truck drivers. Why? Give us a detailed explanation.
Starting point is 00:44:59 No, Dan hates truck drivers. No, I do not hate truck drivers. I do not hate truck drivers. I said two things about truck drivers. One, the guy who texted us said he's texting and driving or he's, he's doing his fantasy He moves on his app while driving. The other thing I said is, look, when I'm on the road and I see a big truck near me, I don't feel great about it.
Starting point is 00:45:15 I just don't. And they have that perpetual left signal on sometimes that I don't understand. All right, right, right, right. Dan, from now on, I will try to deliver my joke, my punch lines like Mitch Hedberg. I would do my best. That's not bad. That's pretty good. That was actually one of your best impressions ever of anything that you've ever done.
Starting point is 00:45:33 All right. I think I'm going to say frustrated. Hey, you know what? You should want to talk, mixtape. All right. So this one says, interesting scenario. Let's call this the fantasy security guards as nothing has been done yet. 12-team Dynasty Superflex. A trade has been agreed to. It involves Bo Nix going to one side and Bejohn Robinson going to the other side. Here's the issue, but there's a lot of other moving parts in it. Bo Nix is playing as we speak, but I really want Bejohn in my lineup this week. So because Nix is playing now, we can't send the full.
Starting point is 00:46:08 full trade through. Is it shady to divide the trade into two parts? One part involving Bijan now and the second part after this weekend's games that would send Bo Nix? No. No. It's good. We're good? No.
Starting point is 00:46:23 Wait. Is it shady? It's shady. You can't do that, right? Oh, I think Jamie. Yeah, Jamie was saying it's fine. So explain it again. I'm confused. All right, so they made a trade. So it's a 10 player, let's just say. And they're taking eight players of the of the 10 because Bo Nix is playing now.
Starting point is 00:46:38 and they're training four verse four, right? Yeah, yeah. And then they're going to later do another trade of Bonnix for somebody else. Yeah, like on Tuesday, they'll do the rest of the trade. I think it's fine. It's two separate trades. Yeah. Are you reacting to Brian's comment?
Starting point is 00:46:58 I'm just not reacting to Brian's comment. I'm reacting to terror wreck shops. My dad is a truck driver. I don't hate truck drivers. This is a bad bit. I never said I hate a truck driver. I just said you shouldn't be on your fantasy app while you're driving. And the guy said he was a truck driver that did that.
Starting point is 00:47:15 That was all. Yeah, no, Dan does not hate truck drivers. Truck drivers hate Dan, though. All right. Let's one more fantasy cops here. This one is from Eric. And he's, oh, you know what? Eric.
Starting point is 00:47:29 There it is. Recently, we have an issue in our league. That's a great joke from Steve. Yeah, exactly. Steve's joke in the chat is actually what a good dad joke or just anything. should be looked at. That's actually, I don't think we can put it up. We probably can or can, but like, that's a great joke.
Starting point is 00:47:44 Not saying it. Not saying it. Okay. Last Sunday, week nine, our commissioner made a roster move in our league at 10.01 a.m. After rosters were locked without notifying the league that this had happened. When another league member noticed this had happened a couple hours later, they sent a message to the group chat asking who had their roster changed? The commissioner, 10.1 a.m. by the way, this must be West Coast, okay?
Starting point is 00:48:07 Pacific Northwest. like San Francisco, right? Yes. Anyway. Northern California. The commissioner's response was that, quote, there was a 10 a.m. app malfunction. The league member pushed for more information,
Starting point is 00:48:20 asking again, who's at malfunction? Who didn't set their lineup in time? The commissioner sent a gift to the group chat that said, I guess we'll never know. This led the league member to respond with, I don't like when the commissioner acts in secret, looking for more transparency. A few more league members chimed in wanting more information,
Starting point is 00:48:38 but the commissioner went radio silent. Then on Monday evening, before the Monday night football game, the commissioner said he was planning to fold the league and that he was frustrated with every little thing being picked apart. He plans to send everyone their money back and act as if the league never happened this year. Some league members have suggested handing over commissioner duties to another league member and finding someone else
Starting point is 00:49:03 to manage the commissioner's team if he no longer wants to be in, but he still seems set on folding the league. league entirely. What say you, fantasy cops? Yeah, you have to just turn over commissioner duties of someone. Hopefully he doesn't like to delete everything by that point. This guy is going through a wild crash out, this commissioner. This is one of the biggest crashouts you've seen. I mean, just saying I'm going to fold the league. No one can have fun if I'm not having fun. You guys are not being like, this is crazy stuff right here. If you can find a way to get control of the league, obviously. Is this Adam? Yeah. Are you just talking about yourself with a Big Burger? Three
Starting point is 00:49:37 comments from the chat people thinking that i'm the commissioner no i swear total stranger here i am worried a bit about you potentially folding baked burger just because how good my team is oh update for you on that someone in our league has offered to take over commissioner duties and what are you going to do about it i'm debating it i i do fine that would be the lamest thing you've ever done your life yeah why he'd be a much better commissioner than than i would be but that's part of the fun is you screwing this up. As someone who's been screwed twice by this, I still would let you be the commissioner.
Starting point is 00:50:12 I completely agree. We need, and it's good for the show. It's good for everything. We need you to stay in the commission. Oh, all right. Yeah, this is horrible work by the commissioner. He's the disgrace and it should be kicked out. So thank you for your email.
Starting point is 00:50:22 Eric. Rico is clear to play. There needs to be like a... General McHillan is questionable. What? There needs to be like a band list for fantasy football. You know, there's like a band list for things. like anyone getting caught doing what that commissioner does or some of these other things we've
Starting point is 00:50:39 gone over on Fan has got banned for life you don't you know you have a list of people you don't allow in leagues yeah can you filibuster for just another 15 seconds or so i have to get the apple yes so i'll go to gauge jones this question which is full ppr i traded bowers and nico for puka is traded Bowers and Nico for Pooka. Is this a good trade? My other time is McBride. For Puka, that is not a good trade. It's not.
Starting point is 00:51:04 I mean, Bowers is... Probably not. Eh, well, it's not terrible. It's fine. Bowers has some upside, obviously, a lot. Yeah, McBride, though. Pookas the... Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:15 Now you're going to have to flex Bowers McBride. I would have like something a little... I would like something back in return. Yeah, I just don't want to trade Pug. If there are players and fans, fantasy that are untradable in my mind in each given season puka is one of those players okay let's uh get a hamstring injury and is not questionable oh that's not good that's that's that's tat mcmillan yeah tetaro he doesn't like to be called he was added today after being limited to practice
Starting point is 00:51:38 so i'm sure he's going to play but okay all right let's get to our apple podcast questions every time i said it i get yeah uh i'm hopeful he will play trade request okay zack charbonne a my zach sharbanay my Isaac Sharbonnet for I think it's I actually can't tell what side this is on Charbonnet for Gadsden in a non-PPR standard scoring league.
Starting point is 00:52:05 Charbonnet for Gadsden and non-PPR? Yeah. Any format I'm on Gadsden there. I would agree. The only concern would be is the minute you trade Charbonnet and Ken Walker gets hurt, you're going to be very upset about that. I know, I know. He has Tyler Warren, too, who's on a buy next week.
Starting point is 00:52:21 The only thing I'll go back to this, what I said on Wednesday about Bowers, like trading tight ends at this point, if you're trading them away and you have something of significance to replace them with, and there are so many options now, which is crazy, just how good tight end has been this season. Like, I don't know if I want to be acquiring Gadsden as good as he is, unless I'm in total desperation. because the upside of what Charbonnet could still be, I don't know if I want to give that up. Like if, I don't know that makes sense or not. It does. Yeah. I do get what you're saying.
Starting point is 00:52:57 It's like a, it's I guess, any kind of bench stash at the running back position. There's more upside than we're going to get from Gadsden. Because he has a warrant, I'm out on this trade. If he didn't have a warrant, I would be in. All right. Next question is from J.T. Anderson. He made a series of dynasty trades looking for the future. Mr. Anderson.
Starting point is 00:53:14 Mr. Ander, yes. He traded O'Donze, a third and two. There's a rare movie reference from me, one of the 11 I've seen in my life. Trade Rome O'Donzei, a third and two fourth round picks for two first round picks, Chimery, D.K., Pat Bryant, and Jalen Knoll. Dynasty this was? Yeah. So it's really interesting.
Starting point is 00:53:40 Two ones? What was he giving up besides Rome? A third and two fourths, and he's also getting D.K., Bryant, and Noel. Yeah, those are worth almost nothing in Dynasty. The fourths are worth next to nothing. The third has minimal to no value in Dynasty, in my opinion, from playing Dynasty the last five, seven years. Third, occasionally you can get stuff out of. Superflex, it's a little bit different.
Starting point is 00:54:00 A little different, more value, a tiny bit in Superflex. I'm going to take this trade. Two ones for Rome, I'm going to take this trade. Yeah, that's the Jets sauce overpay. Basically, all those, all those, oh, wow, you didn't like that. You thought that was a bad? No, no, no, I think it's a good trade for both teams, but I think it's an overpay just for,
Starting point is 00:54:17 you're going to have to overpay to get him because he's under control. Yeah. I just don't know if he's worth two first. I don't know how many players we've seen worth two first in the last several years. All right, next trade. I gave up London for Neighbors and Tess Johnson.
Starting point is 00:54:32 That's a big boss, Ringland. Neighbors. What are you talking about? He gave up Drake London. He's playing for next year. Yeah. Oh, it's a dynasty? Hey, League?
Starting point is 00:54:43 Yeah. London for neighbors and who? Tess Johnson. I think it's a good trade. It's a really good trade, actually. I think a healthy neighbors is definitely better than Drake London. At what point are we going to get a healthy neighbors? When you move to a different lot.
Starting point is 00:54:59 I'll go ring their doorbell. I'll go ring their doorbell. Yeah. Traded Woody Marks for Jameson Williams. Fine. Fine. And traded a mid-2026 first-round pick and an early fourth for Michael Pennix. This must be Superflex.
Starting point is 00:55:22 It's super flex. Yeah, this is on you. It depends if you believe Pennix has a shelf life in the NFL. This is a total up to your evaluation of what you've seen of the player. I personally am not very high on Pennix long term. I'm not even sure about him short term. Maybe you'll get another year, I think, after this. That would be probably where it tops out, I think.
Starting point is 00:55:40 He just has not been very good. But if you look at some of the charting, he's been wildly off target. He's not doing a good job getting to a second read at any point, and he's not doing good job dealing with any sorts of pressure, four-man pass-fresh or when team's dial-up blitzes. So it's got great arm. I will hear, though, any superflex for two quarterback leagues, you're getting a starter for a second-round pick that's,
Starting point is 00:56:01 I would say he's in the-off-round. Mid-first, mid-first, he said. I said mid-second. No, mid-first, right? Oh, that's no, no, I wouldn't do it. Okay. Let me see, where am I spot? It's not an overpay if Pennix ends up good.
Starting point is 00:56:15 Then it's a great trade by you. So it's really just up to you if you believe in Pennix. Okay, Spotify questions here. Thank you very much for the Apple podcast questions. Please feel free to leave us a five-star review and help our show grow. If you're watching right now, please hit that like button. That would be awesome. We've got a-mash the like button.
Starting point is 00:56:33 Don't just hit it. Oh, yeah, break it. I'm in first place. Would you trade Kamani-Vidal for Debo Samuel? No. Not really, no. I mean, Daniels isn't on IR, which is interesting. I thought that was an interesting decision today.
Starting point is 00:56:48 But you missed your cell high window on Vidal. I'd wait for him to have another game. Yeah. If Daniels comes back and you get Debo with Daniels for the fantasy playoffs. Yeah, but McClurent will be back then. Still, as long as Debo's there. I mean, I'm sorry, Jaden's there. I like Debo to put up some numbers with that bad defense too in the game script.
Starting point is 00:57:07 But it's a lot to ask for. So I'm fine, not doing it. Start or sit, Matthew Stafford or Baker Mayfield this week? Stafford. Yeah, Stafford for sure. Flacco, rest of season. I like that Dan's camera shift a little bit. We can see more of the kitchen.
Starting point is 00:57:24 Yeah, I like it. Rest of season. No, that's okay. Rest of season, who would you rather have? Flacco, Knicks, or Darnold? Ooh. We said this Tuesday, I'm going to stick with the, Flacco. I
Starting point is 00:57:40 Hmm Pardon me He wants to go Darnold because he's the best by far of those three at real football It's one and one A So if you want to go Darnold
Starting point is 00:57:50 I have no problem with it It just like Flacco's just amazing Blacko's amazing Yeah And their defense is so bad It has to I think it has to be Flacco based on their defense Should I trade
Starting point is 00:58:01 Brian Thomas Jr. And Matthew Golden For Jameson William's Christian Watson And Chimery Dike Say it again I mean, that's a Spider-Man meme. Brian Thomas Jr., Matthew Golden
Starting point is 00:58:13 for Jamison Williams, Christian Watson, and Chimari-D-K. I probably wouldn't do that. No. The most upside is still with Brian Thomas. So if he can get himself right. Yeah. Start three of these five.
Starting point is 00:58:28 Abuka, A.J. Brown, Garrett Wilson. It's going to be tough to crack that top three. Zay Flowers, Marvin Harrison, Jr. Say it again. I'm sorry. Yeah. Abuka, AJ.
Starting point is 00:58:39 Brown, Garrett Wilson, Zay Flowers, Marvin Harrison, Jr. Like, Bucca 1 for me. Yep. Then comes a surprise one that no one's going to agree with, but I'm going to put it out there, Zay Flowers, just my two of those. Yep, I don't care. Say Flowers is my two, amazing schedule. No, this is for this week.
Starting point is 00:58:55 Oh, for this week, sorry. Yeah, Buka, Wilson, and Flowers. Wilson's two. Oh, we just need three? Yeah. And then it's Flowers or who? A.J. Brown or Marvin Harrison, Jr. Oh.
Starting point is 00:59:08 I'm going to go Brown. I'm debating MHJ. I mean, he said this was the first game of his career where they actually game plan to get him the football and look at what he did. They hate him. They hate him. Oh, he's so bad. He's so bad. And Jacoby Versette can actually run a play action,
Starting point is 00:59:27 five, seven step drop, and rip an intermediate dig route, which Murray can't do. It's just, it's still amazing to me that after Brissette plays well, and they win the game. and Gannon says nothing's changed oh all of a sudden it's a 48 week injury
Starting point is 00:59:44 like that was crazy it is weird what do you think so that he's obviously done there I think after this season Kyle I don't know what the cap situation is but they'll get out of it regardless is he going to start again somewhere in the NFL I did the oh for sure
Starting point is 00:59:58 I mean Jones got a starting job this off season after those six years of misery with the Giants so like obviously he probably will get a chance Kyler there's just jobs that are open every year but like what like what OC it's going to have to take different like Petzig wasn't able to figure it out cliff kind of figured it out I guess for a little bit but this version of Kyler that's not running as much I don't I don't know what kind of scheme I mean if I'm him I'm get me to Minnesota get me to San Francisco let me sit for a year
Starting point is 01:00:29 I know he's not right for those teams but let me sit for a year and just get better some way somehow it's it's been tried and true i guess i see what you're saying from the standpoint of you get the right coaching for him and he gets the best possible coaching but those systems are based on intermediate breaking routes again that's not his i'm not i'm not saying he fits those systems i just think he needs something telling him someone telling him this is how you play the position yeah it can work it's better off for him in the long term as opposed to him going to be the saint's quarterback because tyler chuck didn't work and they have to hit the reset button or go to Miami as a bridge quarterback for whoever's next
Starting point is 01:01:07 or whatever the case maybe. Jets. It might be end up being the Jets. Jets, Jets, Jets, Jets, Jets, Jets, Jets. That would be a few more here, guys. That would be Kyler Murray in the New York media. God, that's a not amount. Jameson Williams or Jacoby Myers?
Starting point is 01:01:22 Jameson. I have some conflicting comments on my thoughts on the personal foul penalty and what the punishment should be. Most people have supported my stance in all serious. That's because they know if they say that you'll read their questions. No, two people here say they disagree with me on Spotify. One person says it agrees with me. But I think most people feel like instead of changing the down and distance that it should be first and 25, that's the compromise.
Starting point is 01:01:52 Instead of what? The scenario I gave was, this happened on Monday night. George Pickens catches a ball, picks up a first down, then commits a personal foul penalty by taunting the cornerback. Yeah. And it's first in 10, 15 yards back. And I think it's ridiculous that if it had been second in one, it would have been second and 16. Oh, no, no.
Starting point is 01:02:13 So people are saying it should be first and 25 instead of first and 10. I said that it should be second and one in that scenario, but you move everything back 15 yards and you just change the line to gain. So it doesn't have to be so punitive. But I think people do feel like it doesn't make sense for there to be such a harsh penalty if it's second down or third down whatever compared to it's first down but really you're not you're just losing field position so i mean i get what you guys are saying i just don't have to put it at first and 25 just because somebody points a football at somebody well that's not the point i mean
Starting point is 01:02:48 you're you're getting you're giving the 15 yard penalty for any other down and distance just not when you pick up a first down yeah i'm just i can't get around on this stuff i'm out i'm out on these types of penalties they ruin games and they're just like just not into it now you're having a completely different conversation. No, you're trying to not make the penalty as severe as it should be. That's what I'm trying to do. Me or him? You?
Starting point is 01:03:10 I'm trying to find consistency depending on the down. Don't be a moron. No, but I'm just saying. The player, not you. Yeah. I think Johnny's right. We're just trying to ease our stat penalties now. We've got to get off of this.
Starting point is 01:03:23 No, I'm just saying it just doesn't make any sense that you don't lose any yardage in terms of down and distance when you pick up a first down. But you do in every other scenario. That's what all I'm saying. We need to make that the same. Okay. All right. Back to YouTube to end the show.
Starting point is 01:03:43 Okay. What are you so? Okay. You're listening to too much My Morning Jacket. What was wrong with that okay? Hey, you just seem like, I don't know. What do you mean? Give me more specific on what you felt based on that.
Starting point is 01:03:58 I felt like you were very negative in your tone and you've been dragging the show down the entire day. What? I'm just kidding. Oh my God. Just kidding. Just kidding. You better be.
Starting point is 01:04:13 William Huffman says Anita Flex, DJ, QJ, Addison, or Henderson in full PPR. I'm going to go with Henderson. Yeah. Yeah, me too. I would go with, yeah, sure, Henderson's fine. Adam's going to really I know Adam if I know Adam well enough as I do and I do know him pretty well now he's going to really regret that comment and like there may even be a text later on like hey man I didn't mean anything by that I was not that I'm taking it that way Austin wants to know if he should trade Chase Brown AJ Brown Jake Ferguson for Sequin Barclay and Tyler Warren yes yeah oh yes I'm curious to see what
Starting point is 01:05:01 happens with Barclay. Was it a one-week thing, you know, against the worst defense in the world, or is he back to, you know, is he back to being a star? That's fair. I think it'll probably end up somewhere in between. The biggest factor for me is just Landon-Degerson being back in that lineup for them. Jameson-Williams or Kyle Monong-guy? Menonga. If it's PPR, William, I don't even know if I believe that. I'm going Jamo. I fear Jamie is a little too confident in Kyle Monongi. I agree, based on Swift being back. Sorry, James and Williams just inspired so much. Well, it's just, it's Washington secondary.
Starting point is 01:05:37 And the Giants' run defense. Yeah. Yeah. I know, but he's not the lead back. That we know of. DeAndre Swift was so good for three straight games before that injury. I definitely think. And in one of those games, so was Monongi.
Starting point is 01:05:50 Yeah. I definitely think it's a swift problem. I just don't know that it's good enough for Menangai. All right. I don't know what that is, that greeting. But I have a burning question for Jamie. I've seen him wear a Yankees hat and an Orioles hat. Who do you follow for MLB?
Starting point is 01:06:11 Oh, it's a great mystery. I've also worn a Durham Bulls hat. I've worn, um, trying to think what else. Mets hats. I've worn Marlins hats. It's whatever teams my kids play for. Yeah. You care, if you were going to root for one team, be the Marlins?
Starting point is 01:06:27 I guess so. I grew up a Mets fan because of Marlins were not in existence. So my greatest baseball memory as a kid was the 86 World Series. Staying up to watch Game 6 was incredible. How are you not a Mets fan now, then? Huh? How are you not still a Mets fan then? I think just because the Marlins came here when I was still in high school.
Starting point is 01:06:44 So, you know, rooting for the local team. Adam and Dan, do you want Brian Dable back next year? No. I don't care. I just say, like, he obviously is a pretty good thing going here with Jackson Dart. So I think for Darts interests might help to retain Brian. If Dart's the real deal, he should be good with the good offensive coordinator. I'm not saying that's a guarantee, but.
Starting point is 01:07:07 Who would you guys start, Dart or Stafford? Stafford, yeah. Again, this weather, I'm not high on this Bears Giants game being high scoring as everyone else is. O'Donzee or A.J. Brown. Odunze. And someone said, Dan wasn't alive in 86, so he doesn't know what you're talking about. I know about the Mets. I was not alive, that's correct, but I have seen the DVDs.
Starting point is 01:07:33 Well, actually VHS videos. All right. Let's finish with this. Jalen Warren, Devante Smith, or Rashad White, PPR? Ooh. I'm going to go Jalen Warren. I really like Warren, but I kind of want to go to... I'll go Warren.
Starting point is 01:07:58 I think it's best. Jamie I'm guessing it's the rankings would be myself Dave and Heath and I know who I have ranked higher
Starting point is 01:08:07 which will be worn oh all right just go with Warren then all right okay I think that's it looking for
Starting point is 01:08:16 other stuff yeah we're good thank you everybody for watching and listening and Dan who did the 86 Mets beat in the World Series
Starting point is 01:08:25 I know that answer but I'm not have you explain it for Famously, they beat the Red Sox who were so close to ending their job. Yeah, that was the Buffner. Yeah. All right, everybody. Thanks again.
