This is Fantasy Football Today from CBS Sports.
What a play!
It's time to dominate your fantasy league.
Off to the races and he stays on his feet.
Now here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie, and Heath.
Okay, we are drafting.
Welcome everybody to Fantasy Football today,
presented by BedMGM, Make It Legendary, 12-Team,
three-wide receiver PBR League,
and the draft is underway
with Bejohn Robinson off the board with the first pick.
Adamazer, Dave Richard, Heath Cummings, and Jamie Eisenberg are going to take you through this draft.
Let's see.
How early will the first quarterback go?
Round three, or do you think later, Heath?
Round three.
Dave?
Round four.
Jamie?
Round three.
Okay, we'll see.
Recent trends in our drafts have been closer to round four, I think into round four, but we will see.
Will we get more than six running backs in round one?
Heath.
No.
Dave.
That'd be a lot.
I think we'll get exactly six.
Jamie?
Six sounds right.
And do you guys have any strategy?
Are you just going to kind of wing it and see what happens?
Just trying to find the players.
Okay.
Well, I mean, yeah.
No, it's fun.
And like I say that as a joke, but it's,
it's funny how we can do a draft like this in August.
And it feels like doing something with AI.
I'm just, I can almost not even be present and talk on a podcast.
And she's like, yep, this guy's next, this guy's next, this guy's next.
Yeah.
And doing this exercise in February when we don't know 25, we're 25% of the guys are going to be playing or whatever is much more stressful.
Doing it while podcasting, insane.
There's going to be a dozen people who aren't even going to be drafted in this draft that will be drafted in August as well.
And Jamie's going to be cursing because there's also going to be.
a dozen people who clock out.
I like this because it gives us...
It only is the beginning.
Time to chat.
Then you just start making picks for everybody.
I don't.
You should.
Well, it gives us a little time to chat.
All right.
So we've got this...
Here's the deal.
12 team.
Three wide receiver, as I mentioned, PPR.
One quarterback, two running backs, one tight end and a flex.
We are not drafting.
DSTs or kickers.
We have six bench spots.
where are you guys picking?
I have the 10th pick.
Oh, God.
11.
How annoying.
11 is Heath, 12 is Jamie?
Come on.
What was that?
That was the app that we're using to show the results of the draft.
All right, Dave, you said you're 7th?
That's me, number 7.
Okay.
All right, so 10, 11, 12 is Adam, Heath, Jamie, which is interesting because there's someone I really want in the second.
round. And if you guys weren't picking 11th and 12th, I think I'd get them, but I'm not convinced
that I will. So far, Jacob Gibbs were waiting for him. He's on the clock at 3. So far, we have
Bijan 1 and Jamar Chase 2. So Heath, I'm going to give you some numbers real quick, talking about those
top three receivers. Jamar Chase versus Puka versus JSC versus JSN. Puka averaged 23.6 points per game.
Jamar Chase averaged 19.7. Jamar Chase averaged 20 points per game in the last.
six weeks of the year when Joe Burrow was back.
So Puka killed him.
23.6 points per game.
But last year, 24, Chase averaged 23.7 points per game.
So their peaks were nearly identical.
Do you have a preference between the two?
Yeah, it'll be Chase.
And I think, like, really the only way that you don't have Chase
as wide receiver won,
and I've been going through my projections process,
and this just kind of reminded me,
is like how much risk do you want to factor into the Bengals
that one of the big three,
or in this case,
Chase O'Rourborrow is going to miss some time.
Because unfortunately,
we haven't gotten a huge sample of this offense,
all being there and functional.
But whenever it happens,
Chase is absolutely insane.
And so Chase is wide receiver one.
Okay, let me give you guys some notes on the Bengals offense.
Joe Burroughs, Weeks 13 through 18,
Joe Burrow came back.
T. Higgins missed two of those games.
But Joe Burrow averaged 24.8 points per game and six points for passing touchdown leagues.
Good enough for QB5.
He did that with very little rushing on pace for only 108 rushing yards.
Chase Brown was RB2 per game.
Jamar Chase was wide receiver 3 per game behind Puka and Olave.
And T. Higgins was wide receiver 7 per game.
So that was pretty cool.
Let's see.
We got some picks flying off the board here as Dave just took Devon A-chan.
It's Bijan, Chase, Puka, Nakua, Jemir Gibbs, J.
S.N. Christian McCaffrey and Devon A. Chan.
Jamie, before we go any further, want to tell us who's participating in today's draft?
Sure. So we have from our staff, the four of us, and Jacob Gibbs, and Brandon Howard, and Merron Berkson.
I believe that is all the O'NRJ. White. And then we have three of our podcast listeners, Johnny Airport, gamer Eric, and
Bradley Kurnett, Brad and Johnny have been with a few of our drafts.
This is the second one for Eric.
And the reason Brad and Johnny started drafting with us because they won the Super Leftover
Leaks, two of the three Super Leftover Leaks.
And then we have Rob Thomas, our esteemed Facebook moderator joining us as well.
We have Gamer Who?
Eric.
Oh, Eric.
There we go.
It was muted.
Okay, we have Amon Rae St. Brown and C.D. Lamb off the board.
And very handsome man on the clock right now
who is consulting his rankings from a month and a half ago.
Oh, that's...
This is when I would take Amari and Hampton.
Do I believe in that pick?
Do it.
You know what?
Remember I said there was somebody
I really wanted to get in round two?
I'm going to take him in round one
because I believe in it so strongly.
And it's Chase Brown at 10 overall.
As I mentioned, with Joe Burrell back,
he was RB2 per game down the stretch.
He was top five per game last year
when, after he became the starter in 2024.
So Chase Brown is my pick.
Jonathan Taylor to Heath.
And now Jamie, you're up for two picks.
What are we going to do?
We are going to take James Cook with one.
Nice.
I can take him for you if you want.
I got it.
Okay, Mr. I got to do it all.
And then I'm going to take a Marginhampton.
Would either of you have taken Chase Brown in the first or second round if I had not?
He was not on my list, but honestly, when it was your turn to pick at 10th, there were two players in my queue.
And I'm just going to end up taking those two players, which is good because I had no idea who I was going to put in the queue next.
I will take, after taking Jonathan Taylor, I will take Drake London.
Drake London.
Okay, so that's Drake London before Justin Jefferson, before Malik Neighbors, before Miko Collins.
and Jamie went running back, running back.
Heath went running back receiver.
I'm on the clock with Chase Brown.
While you think about that, Adam,
seven running backs went in round one
and eight running backs in the first 13 picks.
Yeah, and I really, I like Barclay here.
I think he bounces back.
Jacobs is super safe here,
but McBride is so tempting here.
Yep.
And Jefferson is pretty tempting here too.
I'll go with McBride.
Okay.
All right.
So I don't usually take tight ends this early.
This will be an interesting one for me.
Still no quarterbacks, obviously.
We'll see where Bowers goes.
Bauer should have a much better year.
And we get Ashton Gentie going after Trey McBride from Gamer.
Eric.
There he is.
Heath, talk about Drake London ahead of Jefferson and Nico and neighbors.
Yeah, I mean, we've still, this is one.
one of many teams where we still have a lot to figure out.
But I expect he's going to be close to 10 targets per game.
And you just hope that they've got a quarterback that can get the ball in his vicinity.
And he has a chance.
He was close to being my round one pick.
Oh, by the way, guys, football season might be over.

Dave, what do you think about Ashton Genti and Malm?
Leak neighbors going ahead of Justin Jefferson.
They're literally the two names in my queue ahead of Justin Jefferson.
I would have loved to have gotten my hands on either one of them.
That would have meant starting running back, running back if I had gotten gentie.
I know what the pitfalls are with Malik neighbors just because of his health, but they're gone.
I can't take them.
It's the next best available player.
And to me, it's Justin Jefferson.
What's changed in the last month with Jefferson?
it sounds like the Vikings are definitely not committed to J.J. McCarthy as their starting quarterback, they can bring in somebody else.
I don't know who they're going to bring in because there aren't a ton of great quarterbacks that are out there for them to add to their mix.
But they added Carson Wentz, and he played for five games with them.
And that's Carson Wentz.
How did Justin Jefferson doing those games with Carson Wentz?
16.3 p.pr points per game, 10 targets per game. Heath already talked about.
it. He expects double-digit targets per game for Justin Jefferson. It is not going to be
crazy at all for Jeddas to be a second round pick in 2026.
Okay. And Carson Wentz in those games. I'll try to get his 17 game pace. I mean, it's not like
he was amazing or anything like that. He, sorry, it's taking a little while, but I'll get that
for you. All right, some more picks coming off the board here. By the way, the best available
players based on last year would be George Pickens, Derek Henry, and Chris Olavé.
we get that would be overall scoring not per game rishirice rice makes a lot of sense he comes off
the board he was a top five wide receiver per game sequoam barclay he is the first eagles player
to come off the board and then here's nico collins jamy we're going to talk about this i think
on ffti express but we haven't talked so much about the eagles and their fantasy outlooks um but
you've got you've got their offensive line coach gone you've got they couldn't seem to
the offensive coordinator
they wanted.
You've got maybe
Lane Johnson retiring,
maybe Lennon Dickerson gone.
Are you optimistic now
about the Eagles bouncing back?
Like a zero to 10,
what's your optimism level
on the bounce back?
Six?
Same question.
Heath?
So I,
yeah, I guess,
like,
I think they'll be a little
better, seven?
Dave?
I don't know who's going to be on the team.
I mean, I know Hertz will be on the team and Seguan and Devante Smith.
Give me a six.
I think that's the right number.
Okay.
After Barclay, we get Nico Collins.
Then we get Josh Jacobs.
I mean, that's just, why not take Josh Jacobs?
He goes 22nd overall coming off a very good year.
Is there anything not to like about Josh Jacobs?
I mean, workhorse running back, good offense.
That's a good call.
I mean, average almost 16 PPR points per game and that workhorse role in his first nine games.
I mean, we were talking north of 20 touches per game in those first nine and he averaged almost 20 ppr points per game.
Can he can he do that for a full season in his age 28 year with an offense that's got some question marks on the offensive line?
I think that that's the hesitation.
By the time we get to August, man, there might not be much hesitation.
We might be fully bought in all over again with John.
Jacobs. And there's
George Pickens. So let me
recap for everybody here. Let's go to round one.
Round one was
Bijan, Chase, Puka,
Gibbs, J.S.N.
McCaffrey, A. Chan,
St. Brown, Lamb,
Chase Brown,
Jonathan Taylor, and
James Cook. Round
two was Hampton,
London, McBride,
Genty,
Neighbors, Jefferson.
Rishi Rice, Barclay, Nico Collins, Josh Jacobs, George Pickens, Brock Bowers.
Jamie, you were the only player, only person, rather, to start running back, running back with Cook and Hampton.
How do you feel about that?
Or should we wait?
Yeah, you'll be to wait.
Rounds three and four to know.
But you did, what was your thought there?
You could have taken McBride, you could have taken London, neighbors, Jefferson, Rishie Rice.
You went with Cook and Hampton.
Yeah, I wanted to see how this plays out.
The way that I haven't ranked would have been McBride over Hampton,
but I want to see what it looks like running back, running back.
I think I took McBride.
I think I went, a matter of super flex draft,
but I think I took running back tight end before taking a receiver in that draft also.
So I just want to see how this kind of looks,
which receivers will fall to that range,
not opposed to also pivoting to potentially another running back
if a guy that I like falls there.
but we'll see how this all plays out.
All right, let's take a quick break here.
I want to talk about the four running backs
who have gone in the last seven picks,
Barkley, Jacobs, Bucky, and Derek Henry.
And we'll be right back on fantasy football today.
All right, Dave, again,
these running backs who were just selected
kind of mid to late round two
and then into early round three
were Barclay, Jacobs,
Bucky Irving, and Derek Henry.
How would you rank those four?
Give me the names one more time.
Yeah, Barkley, Jacobs, Bucky, Henry.
I think I have it.
Barkley, Jacobs,
Henry, Bucky.
Jacob's Henry Buckley.
Okay, anyone, Heath, you have like a strong take there,
Berkeley, Jacobs, Bucky, Henry?
You know, I just, like I said,
I've been working on the,
the 2026 projections,
and those four running backs are within five spots
in the projections, so I don't think my order is necessarily the same.
but that I don't have a huge point of dispute,
especially with the first three.
And Bucky Irving,
so his new offensive coordinator just said
that it's coming from over from Atlanta,
said he sees Bucky Irving's role in the passing game
similar to Bijon Robinson in terms of the things he can do.
That's the upside.
That's what we need. We need that.
You know, we don't know if Rashad White's going to be back on the team.
And that would be a huge role for Bucky Irving to get.
but this guy was not startable.
I mean, down the stretch, weeks 15 through 18,
he scored 8.1, 7.1, 8.3, and 10.8
PPR fantasy points per game.
He had seven catches in those four games,
and five of them were in one game.
And part of the reason that he needs that,
and there have been a lot of charts going around Twitter
this past couple of weeks showing running back efficiency,
is he was one of the least efficient rushers in the NFL last year.
In terms of both yards before contact,
yards after contact.
He just wasn't, and maybe that's because he was hurt.
Right.
But we also need, I said that's the upside with the receiving because him being that
inefficient compared to the other rushers around him last year presents a much lower floor
than I think we had going into this past year.
I mean, maybe Robinson would like to bring in Tyler Alger and just give him the early
down's work.
Hold on one sec, Dave.
Don't make your pick unless you already did.
Let's talk it out.
I haven't made yet.
Okay, so we were just talking about
Bucky Irving.
He was the first pick of round three.
Then it was Henry.
Then it was McMillan.
Then it was Chris Olave,
who with Tyler Shuck as the starter,
was awesome.
He was on pace for 1,400 yards and 14 touchdowns.
Dave, you were on the clock.
Sorry if you can maybe get a fresh timer there.
Then it was Kyron Williams.
Then Ken Walker.
And then I saw this look on Dave's face like,
oh, I wanted Ken Walker.
But where are you now, Dave?
You have A. Chan and Jefferson.
didn't want Ken Walker.
I've got a tough choice to make between the fun running back and the receiver who should be good,
but has never been good in his first three years, and he's a jet.
And I feel like that's what it comes down to.
When I'm in a situation like this where there's two players who I'm okay with,
but I recognize what the pitfalls are with each of them,
I want to look at what's going to be left on the draft board when I'm up again and I'm picking
in the middle of the round.
so we're talking about middle round four.
And running back is already thinned out.
We just saw Walker go.
Kiron Williams went,
I think I'm going to lean towards Scatibu.
And I know that there's all sorts of injury concerns with him.
But when he played, he was awesome.
We're talking about somebody who could average close to 20 PPR points per game.
So I'm going to pass on Garrett Wilson.
I doubt he makes it back to me.
I'm going to take Scadaboo.
Now I've got A. Chan and Scadaboo.
At bare minimum, I've got two running backs with huge upsides.
from week to week.
It's just how many weeks
am I going to get out of Scatibu
before he breaks down?
You can count on me
trying to get my hands
on Tyrone Tracy in a few rounds.
Yeah, Garrett Wilson, by the way,
was a wide receiver 12,
10 per game,
wide receiver 10 per game
in weeks one through six.
That included...
Most of those games
with Justin Fields,
so not exactly
a prolific passing attack
in New York either.
Exactly.
And one of those games
was three catches
for 13 yards against Denver.
You know,
you take that game out,
you're talking about a top five,
guy probably. So he did
have his best season. And this is
kind of where Garrett Wilson was going late in the
third round a year ago,
or sorry, August. And
I didn't like it. I thought
he was going to be a bust, but now I was
wrong, obviously, so, I mean, well,
oh, he just went. Damn you.
Eric! Jerk. All right, so Scataboo,
R.J. Harvey.
And now I think, oh, T. Higgins
is still available.
Higgins and A.J. Brown.
Who should Adam pick?
I have Chase Brown and Trey McBride.
Just refer to yourself in third person?
Well, I think I deserve it at this point.
And you went right back to second person.
Breeze Hall.
First person.
I think I don't want anything to do with the Jets.
So I'm not going to take Breece Hall.
Am I missing a running back here?
I'm running out of time.
Let's go with T. Higgins.
Damn, and I should have taken A.J. Brown.
Why didn't I take A.J. Brown?
All right, Heath.
Jamie, will you let him back up in,
take AJ Brown? No, that's okay.
That's what he wants. That's all right. Higgins is fine.
Higgins is very safe there. You took T. Higgins. I was basically for the last eight
picks, hoping that one of T. Higgins or A.J. Brown would make it to me. And I thought, like,
there's also a running back that I would consider here, but looking, you got to look at your
draft board, you got to see Jamie in the 12 spot. You got to see all green, a couple of running
backs. Oh, don't, don't rule it out. You could, you could take Josh Allen and another running back
and just go true zero wide receiver,
but I'm going to take AJ Brown.
And I think also from Jamie's perspective,
like that's a,
you look at the first nine picks or eight picks of that round.
It's like,
oh, this is going really well for the guy
that needs to wait on wide receiver.
And then a lot of times the last three picks
before you get there are the three wide receivers.
Yeah, Garrett Wilson, T. Higgins,
AJ Brown, off the board.
I'm actually having trouble thinking of which running back to take right now.
Jamie has two of them, so he doesn't have to worry about that.
He has Cook and Hampton.
he's on the clock for two picks here at the end of round three
and the beginning of round four.
Who are some of those running backs that you're thinking about?
Who, me?
Yeah, let's compare notes.
No, I'm here three running backs that you're.
I would think about, I would think about Brees Hall here.
Yes.
I would, honestly, like, the Jaguar's starting running back here,
but I don't, there was a report that it's not going to be ETN,
that he's not going to be on the team.
So, like, Bejel Tootin would be interesting.
interesting here, but I think that's a reach. DeAndre Swift maybe, but I don't know. I feel like
Bruce Hall is the only guy, but I must be missing someone. I don't want to take Judge.
You are missing the guy that I had my cue and was planning on taking after Jamie picked.
So I'll just go ahead and take quench on Judkins.
See, I was about to say, like, I love him, but that's a serious injury he's coming off of.
So you're feeling, and it was late in the season, too.
Jamie took Ladd McConkey and Josh Allen, and then Heath took.
Quinn John Judkins. So yeah, what do you think there?
I mean, I think if Quinn John Judkins is fully healthy going into week one and Todd Monkin has any success at all in Cleveland, that Quinn John Judkins is the top 12 running back.
So I think he's got a chance to lead the NFL in rush attempts. He's just got to see how healthy he is.
All right, guys, I'm on the clock here with Chase Brown, T. McBride, and T. Higgins. What do you think about Pacheco?
That's not a bad idea.
Yeah, how would you guys approach the Jaguar, because I'd love to get the Jaguar starting running back now, but in this, it's kind of a weird situation.
I'm not going to, I'm going to take Breece Hall.
But you guys can just talk about, like, what would you do if you wanted the Jaguar starting running back?
Today I still take Etienne.
Yeah.
That's the best guess.
All right.
Well, I took Breeze Hall, so that sucks.
Nice.
But we are, you know, look, the way it worked with running backs.
He could be the Jags starting running back.
He could, right?
He's a free agent.
He could be Seattle starting running back.
He could be the chief starting running back.
Yeah.
There's lots of ways to go.
Okay, good.
There's no, there's a chance he's a round two pick by August,
and you just got him in round four in a draft.
We're not playing out for any money whatsoever.
So good job.
Travis E.N. is our next pick to gamer Eric.
We've got, uh, all right, I'll recap round three.
Round three was Bucky Irving, Derek Henry,
Tenerowellon, McMillan, Chris Olave,
uh, Kairn Williams.
Ken Walker, Cam Scadaboo, R.J. Harvey, and then four wide receivers in a row.
So we had four running backs in a row and four wide receivers.
We had Kiron Walker, Scadaboo Harvey, and then Garrett Wilson, T. Higgins, A.J. Brown, Ladd-McConkey.
And then finally, Josh Allen, first pick of round four, pick 37 overall, followed by Judkins,
Breeze Hall, and Travis E.T.N. And then the next pick is in.
and it is Devante Adams
and then a mec Dave took a mecca abuka
with Mike Evans still on the board
what was your thought there on Abuca
just figure he'll be the number one receiver
in Tampa we don't know
we don't know if Mike Evans is going to be back
for 13th year I know that sounds like he'll be back
but will his role be exactly the same
I think we saw enough of the first half of the year
from Abuca before he got hurt
that shows us that he can play in this league
I don't necessarily
I'm not like
crazy about him as a number two fantasy wide receiver.
But at this point, that's kind of where he's landed.
I don't know if I can name 24 other wide receivers.
I'd rather have than Nabucca.
And there's no other receiver on Tampa.
I'd rather have than Nabucca at this point.
1, 2, 3, 4, 5 in the first round.
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 in the second round,
counting wide receivers here.
We had 6 in the third round.
So that's what, 17, 8.
Devante Adams was wide receiver, 18,
and Abuca was wide receiver 19.
team in this draft. Hey, Jamie, real quick, we're in an interesting part of the draft because
the second your tight ends are going to start coming off the board. Colson Loveland was selected.
But you have Josh Allen and James Cook. I had one team with Josh Allen and James Cook last year,
and it sucked. But that's because neighbors and Brian Thomas are my first two picks.
How do you feel about Josh Allen and James Cook on the same team?
I mean, I love the bills and the chargers right now. So Josh Allen, James Cook, Lab McCock,
and Marian Hampton. Let's go. Okay. Not bad. Not bad to attach yourself to good offenses.
All right, let's catch up on round four.
Alan Judkins, Brees Hall, Travis E.T.N.
Devante Adams, Ameca, Abuka, Colston Loveland.
He's our third tight end.
Bowers, or McBride went with a third pick of round two.
Bowers went with the last pick of round two.
Loveland in the middle of round four.
Zay Flowers, Xavier Worthy.
Man, those are interesting picks there.
It's a tough spot, Heath, for wide receiver.
I mean, there's no layup here.
We've got Flowers.
We've got...
Sorry. Flowers, Xavier worthy, then Treviann Henderson, Devante Smith, Jalen Wa...
I love the Waddle pick there. What do you think? What's going through your head here?
I love the Flowers pick. I love the Waddle pick. I think either one of those guys, you can see a path to them being a top 12 wide receiver and you don't usually find those in round four.
I mean, I think we've talked about it with Flowers. He is elite at drawing targets per route run. He's elite.
just target percentage overall,
can we just have
a semi-normal pass volume
from the Baltimore Ravens, please?
14.7.
I almost took Waddle where I took Allen, by the way.
You almost took Waddle
with the first pick of round four?
Who do you think will be their quarterback?
Ewers?
Hopefully, when he goes.
Okay.
Another Packer connection.
All right.
So, again, the end of the round
and the round four featured
a lot of wide receivers Zayflower, Xavier Worthy, Trevion Henderson,
Devante Smith, Jalen Waddle,
and then Jameson Williams with the first pick of round five,
Giovante Williams with the second pick of round five.
Good pick there. I like that pick.
Luther Burden.
So, yeah, Jacob going Trayvion and Luther Burden, hoping for second year
breakouts.
And McMillan.
And McMillan.
Okay.
So Jacobs team is Puka, Jacobs.
Tederoa McMillan,
Trevion Henderson, and Luther Burden.
Dave critique.
Sounds like a typical Jacob team.
It does.
Going young.
Yeah.
There's nothing wrong with it either.
I mean, it's kind of the way that you should go.
You don't want to do the opposite and get too many old guys
because then you're just adding injury risk on top of, you know,
players slowing down.
And so what's the risk with going young?
Okay, you get players that don't necessarily develop in their second season.
season or their third season, if it's a third year player or something like that.
I don't mind that route at all.
You have a much better chance of getting a breakout player when they're younger than
when they're older.
So he's playing the odds and he's getting talented players.
It's kind of what you want to do in fantasy.
Yeah, talented players for sure.
Some concerns.
And obviously, again, the fact that Trayvion and Henderson goes ahead of Ramandre Stevenson,
you're just hoping.
There's just no justification for it based on what we do.
just saw, but obviously I understand it. Yeah, go ahead. No, I thought the really interesting thing,
because when I got done with my round four pick, I started looking at the tight end position and how
many of those guys were going to go off the board. And so we saw Loveland go in the middle of round four.
I think Dave just took Fanon in the middle of round five. And you, for me at least, looking at the
early projections. I think you can make an argument for those two and for Tyler Warren and for Tucker
Kraft if he's healthy and for Sam Leporto with Drew Petsing if he's healthy. So for me, there's kind of
five tight ends and you can have your favorite of the group. But I'm going to guess one of those
guys probably falls laden to round six. One of them goes early in round four. If you miss
McBride and Bowers, it might just be wait for the last of that group. There goes another one.
Yeah, there goes Tyler Warren.
All right.
So Colson, Loveland started a run that lasted about 14 picks.
Whatever.
Loveland went in the middle of round four.
And then there was a lull until the seventh pick of round five where Dave took Fanon.
And then Tyler Warren goes after that.
And gamer Eric took Ramandre Stevenson.
And I'm going to take the third quarterback off the board because we had Drake May.
Let me make sure I'm not missing anyone here.
Right now I have.
I believe there's only been two quarterbacks.
No, no, I mean missing a running back or wide receiver that I want to take.
I only have one receiver.
It's a three-receiver league.
I have one receiver, and it's T. Higgins.
I have Chase Brown, Tray McBride, T. Higgins, Breece Hall.
I just don't think I can pass up Lamar Jackson at this point.
Remember, when he was healthy, he scored more than 30 points in each of his first three games.
He obviously was not healthy in the second half of the season.
He couldn't run much.
I just want to make sure I'm not missing a player here.
Best running backs from last year.
be like the Steelers guys.
I'm not going to take them.
Cortland Sutton.
Ooh, I like Cortland Sutton.
I might have to take Cortland Sutton instead of Lamar.
All right, I'll take Sutton.
Sorry, Jamie, can I have, can you give me Sutton?
Or I can just take them.
Because I'll get Jaden Daniels if I don't get Lamar.
And I'm fine with that.
Or you can wait even longer.
Maybe you'll have Dak Prescott out of it.
I think everybody in the chat wants to know after you took
T. Higgins over A.J. Brown, why aren't you taking Joe Burrow?
Oh, crap. I should take. Okay, I'll take, I forget about Burrow. I'll take Burrow or
Lamar with my next pick. I took Quarling. I was going to say, you taking a quarterback there would
have been so stupid. Yeah, I'm sorry, you know how it is when I'm hosting this thing and I'm drafting.
I get a little scatterbrain. Heath took Terry McLaurin. Heath, discuss. Yeah, I think I've talked
about it before. I think once he got healthy, he looked like Terry McLaren, which is a high-end,
maybe mid wide receiver two available at the end of round five.
He's a little bit older, but so's Cortland and Sutton.
So are most of the good wide receivers that are left at this point.
I really wanted to get that third wide receiver before Jamie picked,
so I've kind of got my, the depth, no depth on the bench yet,
but the starting lineup set at running back end wide receiver,
and there's still a couple of tight ends and like five quarterbacks
that I'm happy to take when it comes back to me.
I'm upset.
I was hoping McElron would make it back to me in round six.
Marvin Harrison Jr.
was also on the board.
I was hoping,
I didn't think there was much of a chance of Marvin getting past you guys,
because each of you had two picks before I picked in round six,
but I would have taken them in round six.
Those are two wide receivers that I think you can earmark for this range
and feel good about taking as number three options,
because they could be,
they could potentially be number one options.
We've seen it from McLaurin before.
We know what the pedigree is.
for Marvin Harrison Jr.
I love both of those picks that you guys made.
Okay, yeah.
So I'll just tell you round five.
Round five was Jameson, Javonte Williams,
Luther Burden, DeAndre Swift,
Drake May as QB2,
D.K. Metcalf, Harold Fanon Jr. as tight end four.
Tyler Warren as tight end five.
Ramandre Stevenson, Cortland Sutton,
Terry McLoran, and Marvin Harrison, Jr.,
We'll tell you about round six after this quick commercial break.
Jamie will tell you he took Marvin Harrison Jr.
I took Trey McBride.
I think we'll talk briefly about the Cardinals' offense and who's the quarterback going to be?
And what role will Michael Wilson have?
Those are pretty big questions here.
And we'll be right back on fantasy football today.
Hey, this is Richard Deich, the host of the sports media podcast.
If you're interested in what's happening with all the places where you consume sports,
the sports media podcast has you covered.
I've been turning down interviews all week.
Hoda, Coppy, reached out.
Oprah, George Stephanopoulos.
So I said, no, I was booked on the Deich podcast before the Taylor Swift phenomenon.
I must live up to my responsibility.
Listen, wherever you get your podcasts.
All right, before we get into Jamie's pick of Marvin Harrison, Jr.
And we'll talk about the Cardinals offense.
Dave, are you on the clock or you just made a pick?
I just made my pick.
Interesting pick.
Who'd you take?
Win for Bachel Tootin.
Think about where we are right now.
it's middle of February.
We don't know anything about what the Jawars run game is going to look like.
We don't, look,
facial Tutin will probably only go in round six if he's in a legit competition with another running back.
If he's the lead guy in Jacksonville, he's not going to make it to round four,
much less round six.
And if Travis E.
Tienry signs,
then Tutin's going to be like round eight-ish.
I don't think he'll go anywhere in this range,
but we're just mocking,
having fun,
wanted to get that third running back on my team.
and I wanted to do it because I know that there's a lot of crap left at running back.
So Tutin was my selection.
Okay.
So I'll get you the round six picks in a minute here.
But Jamie, I took McBride, third pick of round two.
You took Marvin Harrison, Jr., 60th overall, last pick of round five.
But, you know, Michael Wilson emerged.
And are you thinking that Brissette will be the quarterback?
Talk about your expectations for the Cardinals' offense.
they'll have a new head coach.
They led the NFL and pass attempts.
I actually think there's more risk with McBride and Harrison than, especially McBride
because he goes so early, than we might be letting on.
I mean, there's obviously risk when there's change.
And so the fact that there's uncertainty at the quarterback position still is obviously
something that should keep you a little bit concerned about what this is going to look like.
But I think just based on what you're hearing that they're hoping to move on from
from Kyler Murray and that Jacoby Brissette still under contract for one more year,
they probably look to acquire a young quarterback or wait until 2027 when that draft class is going to be very impressive
and just roll with Brissette for one more season.
So I think just because he could be the starter for the majority of the year,
that should give you hope for the past catchers there.
Now, then it becomes, okay, how do you sort of look at Harrison and Wilson?
Because I would expect McBride to, if he takes a step,
step back. I don't think he's taking a step back, barring injury from going from
tight end one to tight end 10. I think he's still top five tight end and still pushing to be
tight end one or top three. So I have no problem with him going where you took him. I have no
problem with him being the number one tight end off the board. I think in the case of Harrison versus
Wilson, Wilson looked much better than Harrison has ever looked. We are still talking about a guy,
as Dave mentioned. The pedigree is there. He was expected to be a premier player in this
league. And once we saw the switch from Kyler to Jacoby Brissette, we saw some of the flashes
of what Harrison could do. Unfortunately, got hurt, had the foot injury, I think multiple foot
injuries, or certainly multiple lower leg injuries. And that really robbed us from what I think could
have been maybe what Michael Wilson was producing. Different ways, different how it got done.
I think you just have to take it as when they were both on their field together, Harrison was still
the one dominating targets. And that's the hope for me is that he's still going to be the one
dominating target. So we'll probably see Wilson, at least in the previous drafts. They've been
drafted very close together. He may have already called him off the board
and I'd see. But it's a good gamble on Wilson. I think it's a better gamble
on Harrison though at least the way I'm approaching. Okay. We have picks
flying off the board here and we're going to catch up. We had an
interesting run in round six of quarterbacks with back to back to back picks
and they were the third, fourth, and fifth quarterbacks off the board.
In your drafts at home, they probably won't last that long. Although I don't know.
You know, the quarterback position has not been as strong as it was
like four or five years ago.
Drake May scored 24 points per game
and finished his QB3 per game.
That's really high for 24 points per game.
You know, five years ago,
that would have been something like QB
8 or 10 per game or something like that.
So I'm curious to see how people draft.
They may think there's not that big of a difference
between Jaden Daniels and Dak Prescott, right?
And Matthew Stafford maybe
in a six point for passing touchdown league,
which this is, by the way.
Dave, you just made another pick.
You picked Tyree Kill, but you know what?
I have to catch up.
All right, you know what?
We'll go through the rest of the round.
Dave, you want to talk about Tyree Kill?
You took him.
You now have A Chan, Jefferson, Scadaboo.
Hold on.
Achan, Jefferson, Scataboo, Abuka, Fanon, Tutan, and Tyreek Hill.
The gamble on Tyreek Hill is that he reclaims some of his speed
and gets a solid role somewhere in the league.
My fingers are crossed that it's Kansas City again and that things somehow work out with Mahomes and his injury and Tyreek and his injury.
And he averages not 20 ppr points per game.
That's unreasonable, but 14 ppr points per game.
That would be sweet.
And there will definitely be people who don't want anything to do with Tyreek Hill and fantasy.
But it's round seven.
We're like right around 80th overall.
There was one other receiver that I was looking at and he might make it back to me.
And then there's the handcuff to Cam Scataboo that I'm thinking about.
If Tyrone Tracy makes it back, then maybe I would take him in round eight.
But to me, it's just an upside play on an older receiver that has a great price tag as of now in our fantasy mocks.
Tyreek was right at the top of my old wide receivers who still might be good cue.
Right.
That's exactly what it is.
The guy who was second is the guy that I'm going to take who's Mike Evans.
So Dave took Hill, then Kyle Menongai went, then George Kittle, then Tony Pollard to me, Mike Evans to Heath, and Jamie.
Talk us through your next two picks here as you have Cook, Hampton, McConkey, Allen, Marvin Harrison, Jr., Christian Watson.
You have three receivers, two running backs, a quarterback.
You do not have a tight end or a flex yet.
Yeah, I'm going to take another receiver here, and this is a wild card at this point, but I think one with a lot of upside.
The first guy I'm going to take is Alec Pierce.
And so hopefully he ends up signing somewhere.
Maybe it's the bills just to continue the theme.
But hopefully he ends up in a place where he can build off what was an impressive 2025 campaign.
And the next guy I'm going to take is another wildcard.
Right now is the only running back on his team's roster.
It's Jacori-Kroski-Mert.
So we'll see with what they decide to do.
Right now, Eckler's a free agent.
Rodriguez is a free agent.
McNichols is a free agent.
Bill obviously had some interesting moments here in his rookie campaign.
But hopefully a new coordinator, they give him a chance to be the featured guy.
And he looked good at times when he was in that role.
I was really happy to see that QB run happened in round six and didn't include Jalen Hertz.
And then it was the best feeling in the world when it got to like halfway through round seven.
And I realized that everybody before me and after me had a quarterback.
So I'll just take Jalen Hertz.
I'll just take Jalen Hertz in round eight.
And now nobody's going to like my team because nobody likes,
Shailen Hertz. But it feels to me like an exceptional value for a guy we've taken in the
round three, four range in past years. We don't have a Jaguars wide receiver off the board yet.
Yes, we do. Yeah, we do. Brian Thomas Schooner. Oh, did you go? And Jacoby Myers. Oh, yeah,
Jacoby went too. Yep. Yeah, I got a lot to catch up on here. I'm sorry about that.
Well, we don't have Parker Washington off the board, and he was the one who went, who was going off.
Yeah, I think I'm going to take a, you took a gamble on Alec Pierce. I think I'm
going to take a gamble on Michael Pittman, or do I go with Joanne Jennings here?
I'm going to go with Jennings.
Okay, let's get away from our teams here and go to rounds six and seven.
We're already in the middle of round eight, but we haven't told you about round six and seven.
So round six had that wide receiver, that quarterback run.
But Jamie started it with Christian Watson.
Heath took Sam Laporta, Lamar Jackson, Joe Burroughs.
and Jane Daniels were the next three picks.
And Bejel Tootin went after that.
Brian Thomas Jr. went after that.
Tucker Kraft.
So Leporta and Kraft, and then Mark Andrews,
and then Kyle Pitts.
They all went ahead of George Kittle, understandably.
But my goodness, I would not take Mark Andrews or Kyle Pitts in round six.
I don't know how you guys feel.
I mean, I get it with Tucker Kraft.
He is coming off a tour on ACL.
Heath, you took Leporta.
But we had a lot of tight ends in this round.
And that's a lot of tight ends.
That's what eight tight ends in the first six rounds?
What I thought was interesting was like Loveland goes round four.
And then Fanon and Warren round five.
And that's probably pretty similar to what we'll see.
Maybe we'll see Kraft sneak into there.
But then I kind of thought, and I took Laporte at the beginning of round six,
I kind of thought there might be like Kraft was going to go relatively soon,
but then there'd be a gap between the rest of the tight ends.
Pitts could be in the round four conversation
if he resigns with Atlanta
just because of the Stefansky connection
I wouldn't be surprised if he gets pushed out that high at all
I wouldn't take him in round four
I think where Adams's like complaining about it
I think is a great spot for him
but round four I think is a little too soon
I just like at what
we've drafted tight ends
for decades for like decades now
and to think that nine tight ends
should go in the first six rounds
is absurd.
They're never good enough to justify that.
And Kyle Pitts has been the biggest tease in fantasy
for his entire career.
He was good almost exclusively without Drake London last year.
Without Drake London.
You hate Kyle Pitts.
What?
You hate Kyle Pitts.
No, I like...
It's true.
He did nothing.
Tell me where he's selling lies.
Yeah, yeah.
It was pretty much all without Drake London last year.
So I can't, I don't, I think these, I think these are bad.
So do you think,
I think it's an interesting discussion
because we talk about this type of thing all the time.
We've got a very well-established history
that a Kevin Stepansky offense
throws to their tight-ins
basically as much as anybody that doesn't have Travis Kelsey.
It's a huge target share for the tight-ins almost every year.
We saw Dave and Ajoku,
another guy who people had kind of elevated
for a long time in his career because of how athletic he was
and how good they thought he was.
But he didn't really meet.
those expectations, and then he breaks out, and for half of a season when he has a quarterback,
looks like the best tied-in in fantasy.
We've got Harold Fanon, who as a rookie, has a good year and dominates targets, leads the team
in targets as a rookie.
Do you think that with Stefanski going to a team that has Bijon and Drake London, that his
tied-in tendency is just irrelevant?
Oh, of course.
Or, I think you're right.
I think who, like if Isaiah likely ends up in Atlanta, he's going to be a top six or seven
tight end.
Yeah, maybe.
Assuming that there's no pits, right.
Right.
It's just, you know, look.
I think it's less about still believing in Kyle Pitts,
although he's shown us enough glimpses to maybe do that.
And more about believing in Stifansky's tight-in one,
especially if it's somebody we already thought had upside.
Right, but it's not always Stavansky's tight-end one.
Sometimes it's a combination.
It's like this is what happened with Arthur Smith going to Atlanta and his history of tight-ins.
And then what happens.
They signed two tight-ins.
I'll be really worried about that.
Okay, all right.
They brought in John Smith.
No, I mean, look, it's a good point about Stefansky.
It's just, I think Kyle Pitts's history to me outweighs Kevin Stefanski's history.
But all right, that was rounds.
That's a good debate, though.
I like that.
It's also, Pitts isn't necessarily your typical tight end.
We've talked about that for years.
And then there's also the issue of Atlanta keeping him.
There's a cost involved.
They've got just under $30 million of cap space.
More than half of that's going to get eaten up by a franchise tag by Kyle Pitts.
So they've got to make a decision about how they,
they want to allocate that money.
Do they want to give Kyle Pitts, if it's not that much money, then they're signing them
to a contract extension, that's going to charge them a lot over multiple years.
Do they want to do that?
Or would they rather spend the money trying to go the cheaper route, which is getting a
joku, who Kevin Sifansky knows, and then maybe draft a tight end.
There's going to be a lot of okay tight ends in this draft class.
And they try and piecemeal it with those two, and they let somebody else spend a lot of money
on Kyle Pitts.
and if it's the right team that gets Kyle Pitts,
and he's got a chance to work exclusively as a wide receiver
at a tight end position with a good quarterback,
good offense, all that.
I mean, hell, put him in Buffalo,
like we've been putting a bunch of other players.
Then that might justify him being a top 50 type pick in fantasy,
but that's what it's going to have to take for him to really earn it.
If he's back in Atlanta,
I don't know if I want to trust him as a top 50 or even top 60 pick.
All right.
Let's get back to round six.
We're already almost done with round,
well, we're halfway through round nine.
So here's round six.
Watson, Laporta, Lamar, Burrow, Daniels, Tutan,
Brian Thomas, Jr.
Jamie, what you think about Brian Thomas, Jr.
being the first Jaguars receiver drafted?
I mean, look, you're hoping for a bounceback, right?
His rookie season was amazing.
His second season was a disaster.
You know, third year, you know, another full season,
full off season in Liam Cohen's system.
You hope that he can get back to being that type of player.
But now you're talking about Parker Washington emerging,
Jacobi Myers being added.
And now they're saying that Travis Hunter is still going to see time on offense,
if not maybe still be a full-time offensive player,
or at least the majority of time on offense.
Like it could be messy for Thomas.
So I think when you just look at the Jaguars receivers,
it's almost like, okay, who can I get last of the big three or four?
And that's kind of the way I would approach it.
I don't have Brian Thomas ranked as a top 30 receiver,
for example.
Right.
No.
Okay.
After Brian Thomas Jr.
was Tucker Kraft,
Mark Andrews,
Kyle Pitts,
those three tight ends.
And then we get Jackson Dart,
second to last pick of round six,
71st overall,
and Ricky Piersall,
who was the first 49ers receiver.
And,
you know,
Joanne Jennings is a free agent.
Isn't he the only 49ers receiver?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Well,
AUC technically is still there.
Right.
After that,
we go to round seven,
and Romo Dunzee was the first pick.
So Dunzee goes in round seven,
Luther Burry.
went in what, round five?
Yeah.
O'Donze went basically two rounds after burden.
Jacobi Myers, Jalen Warren, Caleb Williams,
Michael Wilson, pick 77, whereas Marvin Harrison was picked 60.
Justin Herbert, Tyree Kill, Kyle Menangai,
George Kittle, Tony Pollard,
Mike Evans, and Alec Pierce.
Yeah, look, these are not, we're in round seven.
And we're 80 picks in.
Dave had Tyree Killet, pick 79.
Then Menangai, Kittle, Tony Pollard, Mike Evans, Alec Pierce.
There's a lot of risk at this point in the draft.
So we'll have some rookies at some point.
We'll have a clear picture.
But right now, there's risk.
That's the end of round seven.
We go to round eight.
And round eight was Jacori Kroski, Merritt to Jamie,
Jalen Hertz to Heath, great pick.
Joanne Jennings to Adam, Michael Pittman.
Uh, Woody Marks, he always goes so late for guys that, you know, he's a starting running back right now.
Um, maybe with a, with a pretty heavy workload.
Dak Prescott to Dave, which is just so funny that C.D. Lamb and George Pickens are, our top 24 picks in every draft we do.
And then Dak Prescott goes 90th overall. Nice pick. Parker Washington, the last of the three Jaguars receivers goes 91st.
Stefan Diggs, DJ Moore, RICO Dowdell.
I'm sorry, did I say Chuba Hubbard yet?
No, when did Chuba Hubbard go?
Chuba went in round nine.
So Dowdell went before Hubbard.
Doubtle's going to be a free agent.
Hubbard reclaimed the job late in the year.
I think Hubbard is a great value in this draft, guys.
I think he was a good value.
I absolutely love the Hubbard pick.
Yep, good value.
I took Brooks at the end of round nine.
Oh, interesting.
All right.
So we got Dowdell and Ruff.
Round 8, Jake Ferguson, Brock Purdy.
And then let's go to round nine, which was just concluded, by the way.
David Montgomery.
Are we expecting him to be on the Lions next year, Montgomery?
As of now.
Yep.
James Connor, Blake Corum, interesting pick there.
Matthew Golden.
Trey Benson.
That's a pretty interesting pick.
I really wanted Trey Benson.
I was very disappointed by the running back round or run in this round.
Right.
Okay.
All right.
So we have a lot of running backs going in round nine.
Six of the first seven picks.
Montgomery, James Connor, Blake Corum, then Matthew Golden, Trey Benson, Chuba Hubbard.
Put those guys on your radar.
Those are good picks.
Tyrone Tracy to Dave.
He took Scataboo earlier.
He said he was going to take Tracy.
I'm sorry.
I'm on the clock here.
I'm going to take J.K. Dobbins.
in round 10.
But finishing up round 9
after Dave took Tracy,
it was Chris Godwin,
Khalil Shakir,
Quentin Johnston to me,
Jonathan Brooks to Heath,
Alvin Camara to Jamie.
We're just about caught up
as we go to round 10,
which is Jordan Mason to Jamie.
Aaron Jones still on the board, Jamie?
Yep.
Okay, you took Mason,
then Heath took Dylan Samson
because he has Judkins.
Is that why you took him?
Yep.
Okay.
I took J.K. Dobbins,
who two years,
years in a row outperformed the guy that we thought was going to be better than him.
Gus Edwards two years ago and RJ Harvey this year.
Tyler Algier goes to Eric.
So now we're taking handcuffs, not a bad idea.
Although Algier might not be a handcuff.
Might be somewhere else.
Wondale Robinson, 113th overall for Wondale Robinson, who finished as wide receiver 17 per game
last year just behind T. Higgins.
So that's a solid pick.
And now we're caught up.
Dave's on the clock.
Dave, who'd you take?
I took Brandon Ayyuk.
We mentioned them earlier.
We don't know what team will be on,
but I'm pretty sure it's not going to be the 49ers,
and we have no idea what type of receiver he will be.
Let's call this what it is.
It's just a gambly type of pick in round 10
in a fantasy mock draft in mid-February.
And by the time we get through free agency
and when players start to move,
Brandon Ayuk will be on a different team,
and he's probably going to go higher than round 10
when that happens.
And so what, he could go, you want to put him where we're putting everybody else, which is Buffalo, he'll be a super high pick.
If you put him reunited in D.C. with Jayden Daniels, he's not going to go in round 10, but I don't think he'll go in round five.
I think he'll end up being in that like round sevenish range, maybe a little bit before there.
But people will gravitate toward IUC as kind of a value slash high upside type of wide receiver.
I had no problem taking him a year off of football.
he should be healthy and ready to go.
And we know that he's got speed
and he's got all kinds of upside.
By the way, some of the best players
still available based on points per game
scored last year, or 2025.
Nobody scored as average
more than 11.1 fantasy points.
That was Debo Samuel.
Keenan Allen averaged 10.2 fantasy points
and those are the only players still on the board
other than a quarterback that average double-digit
ppr fantasy points per game.
We have Debo and Allen.
We have Romeo Dobbs, Troy Franklin, Jordan Addison.
He really stands out to me, right?
Because we know he's better than 9.1 points per game,
which is what he averaged last year.
Jordan Addison, we were expecting a bounce back.
Trey Tucker, Travis Hunter, pretty interesting, probably, you know,
going to play a lot of defense.
Kishon Booty and Marquise Brown, Josh Downs.
Josh Downs, look, we're expecting either one or both of Pittman
and Pierce to be gone.
So Josh Downs,
pretty a fascinating player there.
All right, we're about done with round 10.
I don't know what kind of voice that was.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You want to comment on the voice, Heath,
or the Josh Downs thoughts?
Or both.
No.
You know, you were,
it's a round 10 pick.
Yeah.
Well, he's not, he's still on the board.
Maybe it's going to be a round 11 pick.
He'd be mine.
He was taken?
No, he'd be my pick in round 11 if he gets there.
Well, somebody take Josh down, so Adam's going to be frustrated about it.
Round 10 was Mason, Samson, Dobbins, Alger, Wondale, Ayuk, Arronday Gadsden, Gainwell.
Gainwell there, that's pretty productive.
But he was by far the best player available based on last year's scoring.
And he goes 116th, Kenneth Gainwell.
Braylin Allen, Jaden Reed,
um jaden higgins
Aaron Jones
and that was the end of round 10 we get into round 11
Ali Gordon
Troy Franklin
Trevor Lawrence
so
everyone's got a quarterback at this point
was Lawrence a backup no
Lawrence was not a backup
Lawrence was Trevor was
Jacob's starting quarterback
and the number one quarterback
has not been drafted yet
Matthew Stafford has not been drafted
no
interesting
um
all right so after Lawrence
we get Calvin
and Ridley.
Who would be the first Titans receiver
you'd take?
Whoever they draft in April.
Yeah.
Yeah.
All right.
Well, it's Ridley right now.
Then it's Debo Samuel.
Dave, you're on deck.
Do you need anything, or are you just picking for depth now?
I'm picking for upside in this exercise.
All right.
We're waiting for Jason for Johnny Airport.
Johnny Airport's going to make a selection here.
Let's go through Johnny Airports team.
McCaffrey, Rishie Rice, Ken Walker, Colson Loveland,
D.K. Metcalf, Brian Thomas.
So his wide receivers are Rice, Metcalfe, and Thomas.
His running backs are McCaffrey and Walker.
His tight end is Loveland.
His quarterback is Herbert.
So he's probably a little weak at wide receiver.
He took Parker, Washington.
I mean, not necessarily,
but stronger at running back quarterback tight end.
Parker Washington's is wide receiver four or his flex.
Chuba Hubbard, great pick there, Gadsden,
and then he just took Jalen Coker, finish strong.
And now Dave is on the clock with the 127th overall pick.
Coming down to Dalton Kincaid or Jordan Addison,
looking for depth on my team.
And I think I'm going to lead Kincaid just to have the second tight end.
there aren't a lot of good tight ends left.
I'm using the term good loosely.
And I drafted Justin Jefferson earlier.
So if I'm drafting Addison, why?
Is he a handcuff for Justin Jefferson?
I would never suggest such a thing.
Would I ever start him as a number three receiver?
Maybe.
But there's already quarterback question marks in Minnesota that I think they can solve.
But because they haven't solved them yet, I don't want to double down on it.
I'll take Addison if he makes it back to me in the next round.
But otherwise, I went with Kincaid.
And hopefully he gets around what he had this past year,
11 PPR points per game.
Touchdown dependent.
Yeah, just fired up because I drafted Josh Downs.
That's all.
Couldn't think of any other music to play.
You just wanted me to stop talking.
Well, yeah, I had to talk about getting Joshed out.
And then he took Addison right after.
I shouldn't take it, Addison.
Damn it.
Yeah, for sure.
Oh, what was like?
I was listening to Dave and then I was like,
oh, I'm up.
Josh Downs.
Should take it Addison.
Ooh, Jamie with a great likely pick.
All right, here's round 11.
It's Ali Gordon, Troy Franklin,
Trevor Lawrence, Calvin Ridley,
Debo, Samuel, Jalen Coker,
Dalton Kincaid, Brian Robinson,
Jr., Kishon Booty,
Josh Downs, great pick.
Jordan Addison, better pick.
Isaiah likely, free agent,
exciting tight end,
big possibilities there.
We'll do one more round.
and then we'll recap our teams.
It is a 14 round draft, but we'll go through 12 of them.
And Jamie, what's on your mind?
You know, let's just have some fun here and see what happens with this guy.
Sounds like he's coming back to play.
Why not?
Travis Kelsey.
Are these your only tight ends?
Double tight end.
Yep.
Ah, you waded on tight end, and you got likely and Kelsey.
You know, maybe the top five, top six tight end like Heath alluded to and the greatest
tight end of all time.
It's good to wait.
There you go.
Heath, you're on the clock.
I feel like if Jamie's going to do that,
then I should just take Patrick Moms.
Oh, that's a good pick.
I like that pick.
Is it? Yeah, it's a great pick.
Okay.
I'm on the clock.
I have Lamar Jackson,
so I'm not going to take.
Do I need a handcuff here?
I have Breece Hall, Chase Brown.
No.
Just take best play available.
You should take Braylon Allen just in case
Breeze Hall leaves.
He was taken.
Oh, never mind.
Take Isaiah Davis just in case Breeshall leaves.
No.
I could take, uh, man.
Lock up the jet backfield.
Is it so stupid to take, um, Kian Coleman?
No.
No.
Yes.
This coach loves him.
Coach loves him.
I, I think it's a great pick.
That worked out so well last year.
I think it's a good pick here.
All right.
Keon Coleman.
Oh, me.
You guys took.
Travis Kelsey and Patrick Mahomes.
You took two first ballot Hall of Famers,
two of the best ever at their position,
and I took Keon Coleman.
Sounds about right.
Yeah.
Okay.
Eric is up.
Dave is in the hole.
Now Dave's on deck.
Eric took Charbonnet.
And now Rob,
let's take a look at Rob's team.
He has Amon Raus Saint Brown,
Malik Neighbors,
R.J. Harvey.
Devante Adams.
So three of his first four picks.
So he kind of sacrificed running back a little bit here.
He did not take a second running back until round seven.
So St. Brown, neighbors, R.J. Harvey, DeVante Adams, Tyler Warren,
Jaden Daniels.
Then Kyle Menangai and Woody Marks in round seven and eight.
I think for that build, getting a guy like Woody Marks is pretty good.
Good job there.
And then Chris Godwin.
Godwin is another year removed now from a very,
serious dislocated ankle.
Mike Evans may not be back on the team.
When you think about Abuka going in round four
and Godwin going in round nine, pretty
good. And then Wondale Robinson in round
10, I think Rob got some really good
value. Rounds, me personally,
this is just me speaking. Rounds 8 through 10.
Woody Marks, Chris Godwin,
Wondale Robinson. I think you did great
there. And then he took
Brian Robinson and he just took
Jack Bish. And then Dave,
who'd you take? When's the last
time the league MVP went in
round 12 of a fantasy draft the year after of his MVP year.
So he liked his pick of Patrick Mahomes.
And I did two, but I think Stafford, A, he's healthier, B, we don't have to expect
him to be as good as he was in 2025.
But he should still be pretty good as long as Adams is there.
Puka reports to camp.
The offensive line gets really ironed out.
That's still going to be a very high-powered offense.
Thrill to get Matthew Stafford.
It's my QB2 in round 12.
It's kind of funny.
QB1, League MVP.
Everybody wants shiny new toys
at quarterback, or a lot of people do.
You have Dak Prescott and Matthew Stafford
and a lot to like with that pairing there.
We just had the best pick of the...
I feel stupid for taking Dak when I did,
knowing I got Stafford in round 12.
I think Dave and I both took quarterbacks
in round 8 and round 12.
He got Dak and Stafford.
I got Hertz and Mahomes.
I prefer Hertz and Mahomes.
I think they're both...
It's just another reminder to wait on
quarterback. I wasn't necessarily trying to do
which one's better. That's for sure. I was just trying to drive
a wedge between you two.
Yeah.
Round 12.
It'll never happen. That bond is
strong. Kelsey Mahomes,
Coleman, Charbonnet,
Bess, Stafford, Devin Neal,
Isaiah Pechego,
Sabian Williams,
Kamani Vidal,
Taije Spears.
All right, we've got two more rounds left.
Oh, we have one more pick left in round 12.
Sorry, it's Marones.
and Marone, who will you take?
How do you like your team, Adam?
It's okay.
The thing about my team is
if there's good health and good seasons,
I, Trey McBride in round two,
Lamar Jackson, in round five,
could have R-B-W, could have tight-end one and QB-1.
And then I just need my other guys to be fine.
We'll go through our teams.
Travis Hunter was pick 144.
Let's go through our teams,
in order of how they were drafted.
Dave had picked seven.
Give me your team.
Dak Prescott is my quarterback with Stafford on the bench.
I don't know how you could argue with that,
especially at the values that I got them at.
Running backs, Devon A. Chan and Cam Scadaboo are starters on my bench,
Tyrone Tracy and Basial Tutton.
I could probably use another running back or two with my last two picks.
Wide receivers, Justin Jefferson in round two,
a mecca, when did I take him?
Round four.
that sounds about right.
And then Tyreek Hill,
a couple rounds after that.
My bench-wide receivers are Brandon Ayuk,
and that's the end of the list.
That's a terrifying receiving room.
Well, it's February.
Just terrifying.
Yeah, well, what the hell?
It's February.
Fanon is my tight end.
Kincaid is the backup tight end.
Yeah, that makes me think that maybe I should have taken Jordan
Addison over Dalton Kincaid in round 11,
but that's the way that the cookie crumbled for me.
Yeah, so your receivers are Jefferson,
Abuka, Tyreek Hill, and Brand,
then Iyuk in a three receiver full PPR league with a flex.
Okay.
Speaker Adam, you put me in as Speaker Adam on the draft board?
I did not notice that.
My team is Lamar Jackson at quarterback and Trey McBride at tight end.
I guess I have to call them the onesie positions.
People do that.
Dan does it all the time.
It drives me crazy, but I'll do it.
I think I'm great at the onesie positions,
Lamar Jackson and Trey McBride.
Running back are Chase Brown and Breece Hall with
Tony Pollard and J.K. Dobbins
on the bench. And wide receivers
are not great. T. Higgins,
Cortland, Sutton, Johnston,
amazing Josh Downs pick,
legendary Keon Coleman pick.
So again, it's Jackson, McBride,
Chase Brown, Breeze Hall,
Higgins, Sutton, Joward,
Joward, Joward, Jowardt, Jantinx.
And my flex would be
Tony Pollard or Quentin Johnston,
maybe J.K. Dobbins or Josh Downs.
Yeah, I do think it's a good team.
I'm happy with it.
I'll go A minus. Heath.
I'm glad you get to grade your own team.
So quarterback, I've got Jalen Hertz, backed up by Patrick Mahomes.
At running back, I have Jonathan Taylor, Quinn Sean Judkins,
Jonathan Brooks and Dylan Samson on the bench.
At wide receiver, I have Drake London, A.J. Brown, Terry McLaurin,
with Mike Evans and the Flex, and Jordan Addison on the bench.
And I have Leporto as my tight end.
It's pretty solid.
What would you grade your own team?
I think solid is exactly the word that I would use.
I succeeded in not embarrassing myself.
You know who else had Patrick Mahomes backing up Jalen Hertz?
Super Bowl 59.
Wow.
They were playing against each other.
You know what I mean.
Everyone knows.
Oh, I'm on the clock.
Jamie, take us through your team.
A Giants fan is reminding the Chiefs fan how bad his Chiefs team.
was in a Super Bowl two years ago.
That's accurate.
Who has more Super Bowls?
Giants have four.
Yes, Chiefs have four.
Ooh, next one wins.
Who has Ty?
I have Josh Allen and the rest of the bills with James Cook.
I have Amaran Hampton as the other running back.
Lab McConkey, Marvin Harrison, Jr., Christian Watson,
and Alec Pierce are my only receivers on the team.
Backup running backs are Bill, Kamara, and Jordan Mason.
and then I have Isaiah Likeley and Travis Kelsey attended.
Oh, Heath.
How do you feel about McConkey being your wider seat?
Do you like that pick, Jamie?
Idiot moron.
Yeah, I do.
Took Rashad White.
Okay.
Who knew that Rashad White would cause the biggest reaction in the show?
And think about all the things Heath said about Jamie before we went on the air.
Yeah.
Jamie's on the clock for two picks here, but how differently, Jamie, would you feel about your team?
If instead of Lab McConkey as your wide receiver won,
you got any of Garrett Wilson, T. Higgins, or AJ Brown,
who went with the three picks right before McConkey?
I would have taken probably one of those guys with McConkey.
Instead of Josh Allen.
I understand.
All right.
Jamie took Romeo Dobbs and...
Sign somewhere where he can be used, hopefully.
I'm going to take...
I forget how it.
Oh, I'm going to take...
He's still available.
All right.
Does Dobbs follow the Packers trail down to Miami?
That would make sense.
Tori Horton for Jamie.
Horton's a fun pick.
Here's a who.
