We've got a big update for you here on Fantasy Football today.
In five, the Broncos and the Patriots game has been postponed.
We'll tell you what it means and who to replace your Patriots and Broncos with right now.
Hey, what's up everybody?
All right, Adam Azer and Dave Richard here on FFT in five.

Dave, let's get right to it here.
What's going on?
The Patriots and the Broncos has been postponed and what do we need to know?
It's been postponed to week six.
So that game is going to
happen in week six. Week six was supposed to be the Patriots by week. That is now week five. The
Broncos by week was supposed to be later on in the year. That is now in week five. And the game
that the Broncos were supposed to play in week six, which is Miami at Denver, that's been tabled
to another week. We don't know what that week is, but for now, it's not on the table for week six.
So should we allow fantasy managers
to use an IR spot for these players,
or should we just treat it as their bye week,
given that it's happening a day before the game
is supposed to be played?
Look, commissioners can do what they wish.
I think it's fine if you want to be benevolent and kind
and let them use an IR spot.
That's okay. If you want to be tough and say kind and let them use an IR spot. That's okay.
If you want to be tough and say, hey, this is their bye week,
and usually when a player's on bye, they've got to go on your bench,
you can do that too.
Okay, so let's get some replacement options.
Who are some quarterbacks we could be looking at if we need one?
You know, Kirk Cousins is my favorite of the bunch that's out there.
He's available in 46% of CBS Sports League's high-scoring game coming against Seattle.
I would go with him. Other ones, I like
Jimmy Garoppolo, Daniel Jones,
Ryan Fitzpatrick. Check the
rankings to see the order, but Cousins is going to be
at the top. We'll probably just focus on players who
are rostered in less than 70% of leagues,
maybe even less than that.
Running backs, any running backs we could turn to?
The running backs I'm looking at are all
rostered in under 50% of leagues,
so please double-check on your waiver wire.
But Duke Johnson is the best warm body replacement that's out there, especially in PPR.
He's available in 51% of leagues.
Gus Edwards, Deion Lewis.
And then, I mean, we're really grasping at straws after that.
Giovanni Bernard, Anthony McFarlane, Jordan Wilkins.
It ain't pretty.
When you see Duke Johnson as number one on a rank list, you know it's not a great list.
J.D. McKissick, maybe if you're in a PPR league,
might catch some passes. He has 10
catches in his last two games.
They could be trailing against the Rams, so
that's another guy. How about wide receiver?
Any better names there?
I wish I could give you better ones. These are all guys
rostered in under 40%
of leagues. Again, check who's available
in your league. Greg Ward is at the top of the list he's basically the de facto number one receiver for philadelphia
jeff smith for the jets with joe flacco under center i could see his target share continuing
to stay strong david moore chase claypool randall cobb and olamide zakias if julio jones is out
could be a factor for the falcons yeah and if you're in shallower league maybe Russell Gage is available uh you've got Nicole Hardman you've got uh you've got Golden
Tate 58 there are better options but Dave's going a little bit deeper all right and tight ends Dave
any tight ends out there you know one of my favorites is Greg Olson kind of for the same
reasons as Kirk Cousins high scoring game and Olson has five catches in his last two games
Trey Burton is available in 97% of leagues.
He was involved for Indianapolis.
I think the Colts are going to have to throw against Cleveland.
Other tight ends, Kyle Rudolph in that same game, Minnesota-Seattle.
Ian Thomas, who's got the great matchup against Atlanta.
And Drew Sample, because he gets a lot of targets.
You know what? We've got to talk about DSTs, too.
People were really banking on the Patriots' DST.
I've got one that I love.
By the way, we're doing this whole show.
We have to at least assume there's a chance that the Titans game is also not played.
Yeah, right.
They had a positive test on Sunday as well.
So this would be a great list to use for those players.
And Texans defense.
I think we're going to see a big, big bounce back game from the Texans on both sides of the ball.
Okay.
What about the Browns?
I like them too.
You know, Anthony Costanzo is not playing for Indianapolis.
And I'm pretty sure LaRaven Clark isn't as good as Anthony Costanzo.
Yeah, probably not.
All right, Dave.
Thank you for the info.
Appreciate it.
Good luck, Dave.
You too, Adam.
Good luck to all of you fantasy managers out there as well.
