This is fantasy football today from CBS Sports.
What a play!
Can you believe this?
It's a no idea.
It's time to dominate your fantasy league.
Off to the races and he stays on his feet.
It's just going to go the distance.
Now here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie, and Heath.
Welcome to the show, everyone.
It is Thursday, October 23rd.
And this is fantasy football today, presented by BEDMGM, Make It Legendary.
We are talking AFC home games, six of them today, and they are Dallas at Denver.
Can the Cowboys put up a big number on the road against this defense like the Giants did?
Chicago at Baltimore, Washington at Kansas City on Monday night.
The Jets are at Cincinnati, Cleveland at New England, and Tennessee at Indianapolis.
You know, let's see, what have we got?
13 games this week.
How many NFC home games are there?
Because I do have to borrow some of the AFC home games for tomorrow's show.
How many NFC home games do you think there are?
Seven.
Four.
There are four.
Isn't that something?
Congratulations, Heath.
All right, let's get right into it.
Let's talk about some play.
I mean, how do you screw up not doing Who Has More?
I don't know.
That's a good question.
I'll try to throw out a Who Has More.
If you were to play a game of Who Has More, right?
Think about the title of that game.
America's 30-second favorite game show.
Yeah.
Who has more?
Can a game titled Who Has More?
Mm-hmm.
And then a tie.
I would think, no, but if Azer is the host, like Kevin Garnett once said, anything is possible.
Yes, exactly.
Hey, who has more?
Who has more 30-point fantasy games?
PPR, 6-point-per-passing touchdown.
Jonathan Taylor or Dak Prescott.
Dak Prescott.
It's a tie. No, it's not. It's Jonathan Taylor. He has three and DAC has two.
All right. Let's talk about some players. We love Jamie. You love the guy who's going up against
Dak Prescott. You love Bo Nix, Tyler Algier against Miami, and Kate Otten at New Orleans. Talk about
those three. Also breaking your rules. Heath replied first and you're letting me go first. So it's just
terrible job by you. No, that's actually what he does. He loves it when I go third. And then he
asked me for like the most important one as if you guys didn't already send it in sorry i have
terrible yes i like bone next to start the week excited about him taking on the cowboys uh my favorite
thing about bonex i keep saying this every week and it keeps going up um so he's now played 11
games at home in his career and he averages 28.2 fantasy points at home in his career it didn't
look like he was going to get anything close to that number last week and then he goes for four touchdowns
in the fourth quarter two passing two rushing
in the comeback against the Giants.
You remember that game, Adam?
I don't know if you do.
So...
Seared into my brain.
The Cowboys have allowed three quarterbacks
to score at least 32.3 fantasy points.
I mean, Knicks has top five upside this week.
In the case of Algier,
the dolphins are obviously terrible against the run.
And we have not seen a duo go off against them,
but I think we could have that this week.
You got Michael Pennax a little bit banged up.
We know that they like to give Alger 10 to 16 carries at times.
Three of his last five games,
he's been over 10 and a half ppr points.
I think just given the fact of six teams on a buy,
he can be a number two running back, let alone a flex.
So, you know, don't be afraid to maybe play both Falcons running backs if you have them
and you're stuck from a flex standpoint.
But I like the setup for Tyler Algierro, assuming he's healthy.
And then in the case of K. Doughton, it's just no Mike Evans.
He's been over 10.5 ppr points for three straight games.
Saw the spike in targets last week.
It's a very favorable matchup for him this week.
So for me, Kadaun is a top five tight end.
week number eight. All right. Heath, three players you love. Joe Flacco against the Jets,
Wondale Robinson at Philadelphia. Romeo Dobbs has been really good on Sunday night. Christian
Watson says he's going to play this week. Talk about that. But let's start with Flacko,
then Wondale, then Romeo. Yeah, it's a revenge game for Joe Flacco. Like 75% of his games are
these days. But I'm just pretty much buying back in. You guys, everybody knows how excited I was about
Joe Flacco starting games for the Browns, and that went terribly.
But we've talked about it.
He has the second most drops in the NFL.
If you look at the last three years, two of those years, he was very good for fantasy
purposes for his weapons and pretty good for himself compared to the other guy who had been
there and looked so comfortable with Jamar Chase.
He got the ball out in 2.2 seconds since he's joined the Bengals.
It was 2.7 when he was on the Browns.
his average time to pressure is 2.5 seconds.
So getting the ball out quicker before he's getting pressured,
he's got guys who can get open before he gets pressured now.
I think he's a top 12 quarterback this week.
Wondale Robinson, everybody knows it,
just a proven number one wide receiver,
had 20 fantasy points against this defense just two weeks ago.
15 fantasy points last week has averaged just over 13,
when Darius Slayton's not been there
and Jackson Dart's been the quarterback.
I'm starting him as a borderline
top 12 wide receiver.
Romeo Dobbs is a number two wide receiver
who has eight targets in each of his last three games.
And the Steelers secondary can't cover anybody.
Wait a second.
Wondell top, borderline top 12?
I don't think Jamie's that far behind me.
All right.
Look, he's playing well.
Darius Slayton was limited yesterday.
So maybe Darius Slayton will,
make a return. What would that deal? I will still have
Wondale top 24 if Slayton's back,
but I won't have him quite as high.
Okay. Do you think
Joe Flacco will throw more than,
you think he'll get to 40? Because he's always at 40
past attempts. No quarterback or no team
has thrown more than 32 passes
against the Jets yet.
38.
Okay. Let's go to players to
avoid. You know what, Heath,
I'm going to let you choose. Would you like to go first or second
here? I want to go first.
Okay. Because I've got a proclamation.
The Ravens are back.
I know we haven't seen it yet,
but you see their injury report yesterday,
almost everybody who's been hurt of full practice.
A couple of guys limited, we expect them to play.
I think that our preseason expectations
for what this Ravens team was going to be
are more important right now
than what we saw for the last month
when half the team was hurt.
And in the preseason,
we all thought the Ravens were a top eight fantasy defense,
a difficult matchup.
Vegas this week says there's six and a half point favorites against the Bears,
and the Bears have an implied total of 21.5.
I do not want to play Caleb Williams.
And as ridiculous as this sounds,
I don't really want to start in a two-wide receiver league,
Roma Dunzei.
When before the buy,
Roma Dunzee had a 27% target,
share and had like eight and a half targets per game in two games since the buy that's
fallen to 20 percent he's got i think five and four targets in two games i don't think this
is a good offensive game for the bears i've got dandre swift still ranked as a starter but
lower than i expected to and uh i would like to avoid the passing game for the bears i'm also
avoiding
Rema Andre Stevenson.
That was a great game last week.
It's the Browns.
Don't.
Yeah.
And he played Stevenson
of that great game
against the Titans,
already a bad run defense,
who lost their best defensive lineman
Jeffrey Simmons,
who's now week to week.
So it's going to be a real difficult job
for them against Jonathan Taylor,
but yeah,
it was just such a good matchup
for Ramandre.
All right.
So we're going to talk about
that Ravens Bears game.
And I mean,
I feel I'm trying to,
I have Caleb Williams
in my lineup in one league, and I'm going to go looking at the waiver wire there.
But, you know, Adunze, like, you're definitely going to take Wondale over O'Donzee, right?
I am.
I'm going to take Dobbs over O'Donzee.
Okay.
All right, Jamie, you're sitting a couple of commanders at the chiefs on Monday night, and
Jalen Waddle is interesting.
Actually, go ahead.
Yeah, go ahead.
Well, I mean, Jacori-Krosky, Merritt, you know, great game against the Chargers,
and then the last two games have been a little frustrating.
I think when you just look at Kansas City, they're, you know, seventh in terms of few as fantasy points allowed to the position.
They've done a great job recently against Travis, ETN, Jemir Gibbs, Ashton, Jens.
So don't really love the setup for Cross Kimmerit.
I think he's going to struggle.
In the case of Zach Ertz, just to stick with the same team, you look at the two games that he played with Marcus Mariotta, and it was not great.
And so now you're taking on a really good Chief's defense that's great against tight ends,
and you have the potential of Debo Samuel and Terry McLaren coming back.
So I don't like the setup there for Ertz, just based on what he did not do with,
With Mario, he was 6.8 PPR points or less in both of those games,
Weeks 3 and Week 4 when Mario was a starter.
In the case of Jalen Waddle, it's really more of a concern about Tua as it is as much
of the defense that he's facing, and they've been very good against opposing wide receivers
in terms of the Falcons.
And are we going to see Tua get benched?
Because if he struggles again, I don't think Mike McDaniel can afford to leave him out there
if they're going to continue to let him be the head coach.
So just really concerned about it.
It's, I understand, like, Keith wanting to sit at Dunezay, I know most people are not going to do that no matter what we say or, you know, give analysis.
Most people are not going to be able to afford to sit.
Jalen Wallow, there's six teams on a buy.
But, and I don't think you look at what he did last week is really an indication of how it's going to be for him, you know, one catch for 15 yards because it was in terrible weather and two was as bad as we've seen him.
But it's just not a really great setup for him right now, taking on this secondary, which has been amazing.
And AJ Terrell is probably going to see a lot of Jalen Waddle.
and that's not going to be great for Tua and his production for what his receiver will get.
Yeah.
We're going to talk about this game tomorrow,
but Dave had sent me a great stat about Jalen Waddle,
really about this Falcons defense.
Six wide receivers who have lined up at least 70% out wide
and had a route rate of 80% or higher.
So, you know, outside wide receivers who are playing most of the snaps.
None of them scored even 12 PPR fantasy points.
That includes Justin Jefferson, Teterole McMillan,
Mike Evans, Kendrick Bourne, and that is Jalen Waddle.
Jalen Waddle is going to see a lot of A.J. Terrell, based on what I've seen, what we've
seen from the Falcons defense, you know, wouldn't be surprised if he shadowed him.
But it's tough to get away.
Like, we were talking about that, and he's like, what am I going to say, sit Jalen Waddle this
week?
You know, it's tough to get away from these guys.
But it's important to put the expectations in context.
I think if you just look at the graphic that Thomas has on YouTube, his roster, his star percentage is
78%.
I mean, that's very low for where we are.
right now Thursday, and six teams on a buy
and what he has been.
True.
Okay, so he's on,
apparently on Dan Schneier's team in this league.
I wonder if Dan Schneier's starting him.
Well, I'll tell you what Dan Schneier's definitely doing.

Quick run through the news and notes.
The Mar Jackson was limited.
You guys are expecting him to play.
It seems like Vegas is expecting him to play.
Yep.
Yeah, I actually like that for the Bears' offense, to be honestly.
Yeah, I know.
I see where you're coming from, right?
You don't want them to have a game where they don't have to throw.
So, Jaden Daniels is out this week.
Bryce Young missed practice.
Right now we're expecting Andy Dalton, right?
Although Bryce Young was at practice without a boot on.
So I don't think, I don't know if he did anything.
I just saw a photo of him out there.
No boot.
Okay.
Brock Purdy was limited, but we're ranking Mack Jones right now.
He was limited last week, too, Brock Purdy.
Michael Pennix is day-to-day.
Tyrod Taylor is questionable, but apparently his knee injury is not serious enough
to prevent him from playing and maybe even start.
starting. Running back. Penix said he's playing. Oh, great. Running back. Hassan
Haskins is out tonight. Aaron Jones is questionable. So just stay tuned. You know,
can follow us on Twitter. You can check out the rankings when we find out about Aaron Jones.
Tony Pollard mispractice. I don't know what that was about. I don't know if that's been a regular
thing for him, but something to keep an eye on. Tyler Alger was limited. And Mike McDaniel says
he wants to see Ali Gordon more involved in the run game. Big workload this year for
A-chan. Wide receiver news. Chris Godwin is out. Chris Godwin is week to
week, a Mecca, Buka mispractice.
If you played last week, we expected him to play this week.
And Jayley McMillan is getting better.
I guess there's a chance McMillan could be back shortly after the week nine by.
So maybe he's someone that you want to pick up and stash.
DJ Moore mispractice probably going to be fine.
Garrett Wilson missed practice.
Terry McLaren and Debo Samuel, they didn't have a practice yet because they have the
Monday night game, but they're expected to practice this week.
We've heard that kind of stuff about McLaren before.
We'll see what happens with those guys.
Jerry Judy missed practice.
Ricky Pearsall missed practice.
Pearsall is one we'd be concerned about.
A.J. Brown missed practice with a hamstring injury.
We'll keep an eye on that.
Darius Slayton was limited.
No Christian Kirk, no Nico Collins yet.
Josh Downs did practice.
He's still in the concussion protocol.
I'll talk about this later, but Alec Pierce has been,
I'll talk about it right now.
Three games, four games that Downs has missed
over the last two seasons.
He scored 14 or more fantasy points,
Alec Pierce, in three of those four games.
He has six or more targets in three of those four games.
Pittsburgh-wide receiver Calvin Austin.
in full. Chris Olavay mispractice because he's expected to play.
Josh Palmer mispractice.
He's not expected to play for Buffalo.
Christian Watson plans to play this week.
Tide-end news. David Nijoku was limited.
That is kind of a big deal.
If you picked up Harold Fannan Jr., Njoku might play this week at New England.
Cole commit mispractice.
Dalton Cade was limited.
That was good to see.
And Darren is on IR.
For tonight's game, Minnesota left tackle Christian Derrassau is questionable.
And so are both starting offensive tackles for the Chargers.
Jamie, does the availability of the offensive tackles in tonight's game,
will that make a difference when you see the inactives for your rankings?
No, I mean, both these teams have been through this already this season.
So I think you just operate as plan for what your guys are using.
I did see Ian Rappaport this morning said that Joe Alt says he's playing.
Awesome.
Which, yeah, fantastic.
That would be great.
Giant Center, John Michael Schmidt's practice he missed last week,
and Philadelphia Center, Cam Juergens, did not practice.
The big defensive news that we're looking at,
Heath already talked about the Ravens.
I don't know why Marlon Humphrey missed practice.
I assume he'll play because he played two weeks ago,
but they're getting very much healthier,
still missing Madabouquet, which is a big deal.
The Giants super beat up right now.
So it's Javan Howen, their safety,
Paulson Adibo, their cornerback,
and edge rusher Brian Burns,
who's probably been their best player this year,
they all miss practice.
We'll keep an eye on that there at Philadelphia.
Philadelphia, Buffalo is kind of beat up.
They could be without safety, Taylor, Rapp, and defensive tackle, Dayquan Jones.
Tennessee is beat up.
The Colts are beat up, but not enough to where we don't love their DST.
And Heath talked about loving Joe Flacco.
Well, Soss Gardner missed practice, although it looks like they're getting linebacker
Quincy Williams back this week.
Seems that way.
We'll take a break.

One question for each game.
Dallas at Denver.
Are you nervous about starting your cowboys, Heath?
Not this week.
No, how come?
Well, there's not a number.
enough good players to worry about starting your cowboys.
No, they, I mean, we were a little worried about them against the Packers, right?
Yeah.
And they just lit them up.
And Jackson Dart just lit his defense up.
I mean, I know deck's not as good as Jackson Dart, but.
Start was a little lucky.
Well, that's factual.
Yeah.
No, I don't, I think you have to start them all.
Yeah, I was just going back over the last year and a half now.
And you could argue that Denver has really not shut down any good quarterbacks.
They've played such an easy schedule.
Baker Mayfield is the only one I can find.
It's like, oh, this guy had a great season
and struggled against the Denver Broncos.
Chicago at Baltimore.
Well, we heard from Heath.
Jamie, how about you, start or sit Caleb Williams?
I'm still starting him.
It's not as, you know,
I would typically be confident in him,
especially if this Ravens' defense
had looked the way it looked prior to their by week.
But as I sort of alluded to,
like I kind of like the fact that Lamar Jackson's going to play
because I expect them to put a lot of points up.
against Chicago's defense, and we see Caleb Williams having to try and keep up with the
score. So it's probably going to be an ugly, sloppy type of game for the Bears, but I still think
there's too much offense on that side of the ball and still not enough defense on the other side of the
ball. So even when they were healthy at the start of the season, we saw what Josh Allen did, for example,
in week one. Not to say that Caleb Williams is that guy, but there's still the potential for him
to be in that 20 point per game range. I still think O'Donze is a must start, especially given the
week. So I'm still starting the trio of bears that I would be starting anyway, which would be
Caleb Williams, Romo Dunezay, and DeAndre Swift,
and I really haven't changed my rankings as a result of it.
Well, Heath, you know, looking at my waiver wire,
I could start Jackson Dart over Caleb Williams.
What do you think?
I would.
J.V.?
I would not.
Oh, come on.
I have to make this decision for myself.
All right.
Washington's at Kansas City.
Heath, how are you approaching the commander's wide receivers with a lot of things?
No, well, we're not ranking them yet.
So they haven't practiced.
They haven't been playing.
I think if you told me they were both playing with the way wide receiver is this week,
they would both be ranked somewhere between 24 and 30.
Okay.
Okay.
All right.
And if one of them plays and the other one doesn't,
then they're probably ranked somewhere between 18 and 24.
Are you worried about the matchup?
The chiefs have been pretty good against one.
Not great, but good against receivers.
Right. Well, and Debo has been pretty good for the year
and is probably less susceptible to the matchup concerns
because of the way that they use him and where he gets targeted on the field.
But I still think, like, so much of starts and sits this week
are just there's not very many good players.
Right. So you want to, you know, trust your good players, I guess, when you can.
Jets are at the Bengals.
Jamie, do you like the running backs in this game?
On paper, it should be good.
The Bengals allow the most fantasy points to running backs.
And the Jets are good against the run,
but running backs, 16 or more carries against the Jets
and five games, 20 or more carries
for a single running back.
You like the running backs in this game, Jets at Bengals?
I like Breeze Hall significantly better than Chase Brown
just because of what the matchup is for him
and how much work will probably get.
I am a little concerned about the fact
that he's dealing with his knee injury,
so just keep that in mind if you have an extra roster spot
pick up Isaiah Davis in case something happens.
happens as the week goes on, but it seems like he's going to be fine.
In the case of Chase Brown, look, it's, again, six teams on a buy.
I have him behind the guys that have a lot of upside that have been playing well lately
versus the guys that are kind of desperation plays.
So I would start Chase Brown over Togorri Kroski Merritt, over Kamani Vidal, over...
You would start, you'd start, you said Chase Brown over Vidal?
I would.
Okay.
How about RICO Daudal?
I start him over Rico Daudel.
Okay.
Would you guys start Chase Brown over the Chargers, wide receivers tonight?
Not in PPR, no.
No.
Okay.
What I got?
We got Cleveland at New England.
Heath, is there anyone you feel great about in this game?
Great about.
I think you're still starting Drake May, but I don't expect a top five performance.
And Stefan Diggs is a high-end.
and wide receiver too.
And Harold Fanon is a top six tight end as long as Nojoku's out.
But if he's back, then neither one of them are.
Judkins?
He's a high-end RB2.
Okay.
Yeah, I mean, we might have two good defenses here.
And Drake May, his toughest matchup this year was his only bad game.
But, you know, we'll see.
He's obviously playing at an incredible level.
Tennessee's at Indianapolis.
Jamie, is this one of those old startem-all sitem-a-malls?
Yeah, really can be.
I think so.
You know, you look at Daniel Jones, I think, is an easy start this week.
I think Jonathan Taylor's a must start this week, every week.
Michael Pittman must start this week every week.
Yeah, the Warren must start this week every week.
You know the issue with Daniel Jones, though, is exactly what happened last time they played is just he won't need to do anything.
Taylor goes crazy.
He has a good game, but not a good fantasy game, right?
I mean, that's got to be on your mind.
I don't think he's going for 26 points plus.
I think Sportsline hasn't projected for 27.
But 20 plus, I mean, he's been over that number every home game so far this season, even in some blowouts.
I just don't think you mentioned Tennessee's a mess.
Simmons most likely out, Legerius Sneed, most likely out.
Like we're looking at, you know, best cornerback as far as I know for the Titans and certainly their best defensive player overall.
So while Taylor will get his numbers, I think Daniel Jones will also.
Like this, so you mentioned Alec Pierce with Josh Downs.
I still think he's going to take a few shots with Pierce regardless.
Down's there, Downs not there.
Tyler Warren will get his numbers.
I think Pittman will get his numbers.
He's the most concerned about if Downs is healthy from a high-end perspective.
It's still starting Michael Pittman.
So it's just really, it feels like the Colts could do whatever they want to.
Yes.
And I think he can, like, I wouldn't be surprised if he has 25 pass attempts like he did last time he played them.
And if he does, then he just has to have two touchdowns.
But that was, I mean, that was probably what kept him from 20 points last time is he only had one touchdown.
between the rushing and the passing,
Yobi gets two.
Daniel Jones,
so I'm asking in the chat,
Daniel Jones or Bo Nix?
Nix.
Daniel Jones or Joe Flacco?
Jones.
Would be Flacco for me.
Daniel Jones or Caleb Williams?
Jones.
Jones.
Daniel Jones or,
wait, did I say Drake May?
No.
Jones or May?
May.
Okay.
Someone's asking Herbert or Drake May?
Okay. Let's go to Dallas at Denver in one second. Just want to remind you Sunday are programming a little bit different. We had been doing the early shows because of the international games, but they're taking a little bit of a hiatus. So we're at 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. answering your questions. Go there. Tell your friends. Come join us. Ask some questions. We'll have some fun. All right. Dallas at Denver. I'll give the stat of the game a little bit later when we talk about the Denver wide receiver.
But so, you know, Jamie, since this is your start of the week, Bo Nix.
I already asked Heath, you know, what are you expecting from the Cowboys' offense?
Are we thinking a shootout here?
Feels like it.
You know, I don't think as good as Denver's defense has been.
They are going to stop Dak Prescott and even Javante Williams who gets his revenge game.
So I don't think the Cowboys are going to stop the Broncos, you know, just based on what this
defense has looked like, especially against opposing passing games.
So it feels like there's that potential for sure.
I think the over-under is appropriate.
It's highest over-under on the slate.
Yeah, it's interesting.
I mean, you can't really stop this Cowboys' offense,
and they can't stop anyone.
So, Dak Prescott, last I checked, he was, what, he was seventh for you, Jamie?
Heath, you had him, 11th?
Did you move him up?
He's 10th.
All right, so talk about that, because obviously he's been incredible.
He has almost as many 30-point games as Jonathan Taylor in case you hadn't hurt.
but who are some guys
start with you, Jamie, that you'd start over
Dak Prescott? The other quarterback in this game.
I mean, you've got to give Denver's defense some credit.
They're still one of the toughest opponents
that they faced, including the Packers
for Dak Prescott, plus that game was at home
for Dallas. So I think
just in the case of Dak, you lower
the ceiling, but he's still a must-star quarterback,
given the fact, again, six teams on a buy and what he's been
able to accomplish. So we're now
two games into
CD Lamb Back, and,
And Pickens is still going to make some plays.
You know, Pickens is the most interesting one to me because if Sartan does shadow Lamb,
then he could go nuts.
So I don't know if Denver is going to travel, you know,
or just keep Sertan on one side because of the dynamic ability of both of these guys.
And Lamb will probably move more than Pickens will.
So I think that may factor into, let's put three guys on CD Lamb and one guy on Pickens and see if that works.
So Ferguson's going to get his numbers.
I think we see potential shootout.
So, yes, that's still going to be good.
I just don't think top three good.
Yeah, how about what do you think about that with the wide receivers, Heath?
Because Lamb plays in the slot about the third of his snaps.
Pickens rarely plays in the slot.
And Sartan will occasionally travel into the slot to shadow somebody,
but it's not really his thing or really anyone, any cornerbacks thing.
Yeah, what do you think about the wide receivers?
I mean, obviously you're starting Lamp, but it's Pickens.
I'm starting Pickens too
I think
I mean like Jamie said
we don't know
where how much
Sartan's going to travel
but I think
as little as he goes into the slot
he's probably not going into the slot
when George Pickens is outside
so my expectation is that both
Lamb and Pickens are going to get opportunities
without Pet Stratan
on him and I'm starting both of them
I just give you a little nerdy stat here
George Pickens has run
63 go routes
Okay, that's basically like run in a straight line.
And only Kay Shan Booty has run more.
According to true media, the Denver Broncos have allowed only two catches on 10 targets on go routes this season.
And almost all of those targets were against Riley Moss, by the way.
So if they get Pickens up against Riley Moss, you can expect a deep ball.
But he's done a pretty good job on them.
You know, look, it doesn't mean George Pickens can't have a big play.
It doesn't mean he can't run a different route and have a big play.
But I thought that was kind of interesting.
You have one of the highest go-rout-rate guys against a team that's done very well against that particular play, that particular target.
Jake Ferguson is a top two tight end in PPR, top five in non-PPR. Start him.
This probably is the vulnerability, I would say, of the Broncos in the passing game.
The run game, they're beatable.
So start Giovante Williams, of course.
You know, it's weird about Williams.
This is receiving numbers.
He had six catches for 33 yards against the Giants.
He has no more than 16 receiving yards in any game other than that.
And seven catches for 11 yards and a touchdown on 14 targets in his last three games.
Could just be some statistical noise there.
All right.
On the other side of the ball, how do you feel about J.K. Dobbins?
He is coming off two disappointing bad games.
He scored 13 points combined Heath in his last two games, J.K. Dobbins.
He has six or seven catches.
I think seven catches on the season.
Your thoughts on him against the Cowboys.
boys who are giving up the third most points to running backs?
I think he's a low-end RB2 and full PPR and a higher must-start and everything else.
You don't expect much in the passing game.
The Dallas run defense has been up and way down.
And so I don't necessarily know which version we're getting,
but it's a high-scoring game and his team's a favorite and they're at home,
so you're starting him.
but not with top 12
hope
how about a guy
like Devante Smith
in PPR
versus J.K. Dobbins.
Who would you start?
I'd start Dobbins, though.
Man, I'd feel really fortunate this week
if I got to choose
between those guys and my flex.
I would start Dobbins.
I would start Smith
if A.J. Brown's out.
Yeah, right.
How about Chase Brown or J.K. Dobbins?
Dobbins for me.
Dobbins.
J.K. Dobbins.
You've seen the Cowboys by defense, right?
Yeah, the thing, yeah, but like last,
he's had two good matchups in a row.
I mean, really more like last week.
And he had 14 carries for anyone.
So the thing is he's really not been as good
since Ben Powers went on IR.
He hasn't, he's had one explosive run in the last two games.
He had two.
He lost his powers?
Yeah.
Dobbins had two explosive runs in each of his first five games.
then they lost one of their best offensive linemen,
and he hasn't been quite as good.
So he's a start.
You want players in this game,
but I was just comparing him to some other guys.
Okay.
Denver-wide receivers.
Cortland Sutton is a layup.
Troy Franklin or Marvin Mims,
before you answer,
let me give you the stat of the game.
If there's one way to maybe lean on these guys,
maybe,
it's that Troy Franklin has run five routes
from the five-yard liner closer,
which leads the team.
Marvin Mims has run one.
He does not sniff the field, usually.
when they are near the goal line.
Franklin or Mims as an option.
I would even say desperation as an option this week.
Yes.
I've got Mims one spot higher.
I don't know that anybody has a lot of reason
to feel confidence between the two of them.
It's been back and forth.
They're both around wide receiver 36.
I agree.
I like Franklin slightly better,
but it's flip a coin.
How about like Matthew Golden
or one of these guys?
I'd go Golden.
I would go Golden.
And also, unless Watson's back, then I might re-evaluate that.
So we can, I can answer that for you tomorrow.
Okay.
All right.
And then Evan Ingraham, starter sit.
He has four straight games with six to eight targets.
He's been fine.
Starter sit.
I don't mind him this week, but he's not a top 12 tight end just because there are very good options for this week.
So I think if you start to compare him to some flex plays, he's in the conversation.
But I just don't love him compared to some other tight ends.
So I'd start Schultz over him.
start
Arronda Gasson over him.
I would start fannin over him.
I'd start
Mason Taylor over him.
I would start
all those guys over him.
He's around
tight end 18.
The he's been fine
is maybe a bit
of a stretch.
His last three games
his point per game
average is okay.
But he has one game
this season with double digit points.
Yeah.
9.2 or more
fantasy points in three straight games.
Okay.
How do you,
obviously, Jamie,
I didn't think you said Aten,
but you'd start Aten over him.
Yes.
How do you guys feel about the Broncos DST?
I'm not dropping them,
and I'm not going to carry two defenses with six teams on a buy.
So I think you're just starting them.
I want to say they have still very good schedule.
Let's check that. Go ahead.
Which should factor into your decision depending on what you need this week.
So after this, it's Houston,
which I think is a great matchup,
then Las Vegas, and then Kansas City.
So if you want to give your league the opportunity to play
the Broncos DST against that offensive line for the Texans,
and then Gino Smith, if he's still starting by week 10,
go ahead, I'm not doing that.
So I would either just take your lumps this week
or try and carry two DSTs if you can't.
So I've done that in a couple leagues
just because I don't want to drop the Broncos.
So I like, I pick the Falcons,
and I'll play them over the Broncos this week.
Okay.
All right, here we go, Chicago at Baltimore.
and yeah, I think you guys see this game a little bit differently.
You're not that far apart in the rankings.
It's not like Jamie, you don't love Caleb Williams.
No, like I said, I don't think it's going to be an easy, easy game for him.
This isn't the same Ravens defense, as Heath alluded to.
They're getting healthy.
And look, he's struggled from a fantasy perspective lately.
Run game has been great.
You know, I thought that might have been where Heath was going,
was that the run game was going to be, you know, maybe carrying them at this point
with how well that they've done it with Dionne.
Andres Swift against Washington and then both guys last week against New Orleans.
But I'm almost of the belief that the Ravens look like the Ravens offensively.
And then Caleb is chasing the score.
And so we get one of these 302 and two type of games for him or maybe he uses legs a little bit.
So I'm not out on Caleb.
If we did have everybody healthy and available and, you know, not six teams on a buy, he would probably be outside of top top.
but I still like him enough that he's got top 10 upset.
I guess if you want me to give you a little bit of optimism about the Bears' offense,
when have the Ravens actually been healthy this year?
Their injuries, I don't remember when Matti Bucke, I think, got hurt in week two.
He's not coming back.
So the first three games of the year, their secondary was pretty healthy.
And in those three games, Josh Allen scored 43 fantasy points.
He did have two rushing touchdowns, but remember that game on Sunday night.
my memory of that game is that they were like the Ravens defense was very good for three quarters and then Josh Allen was Superman for the fourth quarter yeah uh Joe Flacco had a terrible game and then Jared Gough this was an interesting game Jared Gough only scored 14.7 fantasy points he was 20 of 28 for 202 yards in a touchdown he had a 103.6 passer rating but Montgomery had a huge game in that game so um
Yeah, I don't know.
I mean, I'm not, I'm not, I don't know how good their defense is.
And, and not, again, not having Matabuque is not just bad against the run for them.
It's probably hurts their past defense a little bit, too.
But it's not, it's not the matchup.
Like, they carry up the second most fantasy points to quarterbacks.
We don't look at the Ravens that way.
That's the bottom line.
Well, we'll find out.
Yeah, I mean, they're obviously not going to be as bad as they were against the Texans when C.J.
Stroud shredded them.
Correct.
Yeah.
Well, and they were, they were pretty good against the Rams in the week before the buy, right?
They were, yeah.
I mean, Stafford had a bad game.
Puka got hurt so early in that game.
And Flacco through 26 passes.
So that's the thing.
Stafford.
Would I say?
Stafford through 26 passes in that game.
So, yeah.
It's a doppelganger.
How do you think, why were you low on DeAndre Swift coming off two straight 100-yard games?
I just don't think this game's going to be as easy.
And when I say low on him, like, he's a must start running back.
He's a top 15 running back.
At the beginning of the week, I think I had him closer to 10th.
but so I'm still he's I'm not sitting D'Andre Swift but I don't think this is going to be near as easy as the commanders and the saints have been Jamie how do you feel about Swift and how do you feel about Monongai 51% rostered he's a definite ad and again looking at the teams on a buy if the usage continues and let's just say the look we're hoping the Ravens run defense or the Ravens defense looks better again how much of it is health how much of it is
missing still a key piece of it, how much of it is.
They're just not as good as we maybe thought they were going to be.
So I think Monagai is in that low-end flex range.
So I would rather start Spears.
I'd rather start Justice Hill.
I'd rather start Prashat Smith.
But I definitely want to roster Monongai just to see where this goes.
So he should be off waivers at this point.
Yeah, I said 51%.
That was yesterday.
He's now, Menongai is now 64% rostered.
someone's asking, would you start DeAndre Swift or Rashad White?
I have them back-to-back White, one spot higher.
I'm pretty sure I have what higher as well.
Okay.
Wide receivers.
So, Heath, where do you have Romo Dunzee?
I think he's 25.
And Jamie, you have him top 10.
Yeah.
Okay.
And I do think, like, this is, for me, it's not, and maybe it's just a two-game blip.
But for me, it's not just about the Ravens defense with O'Donzee.
They've, they just, the past offense since they came out of the buy hasn't been as focused on getting the ball to O'Donzee.
They're throwing the ball to more guys.
We talked about this on Beyond the Box Corps.
And Jacob said the first read target rate for O'Donzee has gone down a lot since the buy.
It could just be two games we don't know or it could be intentional where they're trying to spread the ball around a little bit.
I think the biggest thing is they're not throwing a lot.
I mean, Caleb Williams' 29 and 26 pass attempts,
they've got their run game going.
So I think that's a big part of the,
are they going to be able to run the ball on the Ravens?
Roquant Smith being back is a big deal.
It should help them.
That's, you know, the past volume's a big deal.
I can't imagine anyone starting DJ Moore or Luther Burrough.
No.
Yeah.
Okay.
And in fairness, like Caleb, two of the four games before the buy
had 28 and 30 pass attempts.
He has two games.
all year with more than 30 passes.
And O'Donze has one game all year with more than 69 yards.
He's just scored a lot of touchdowns.
Jamie, we haven't convinced you to drop him in the rankings, have we?
No.
I think there's a shootout coming.
I love that theory, right?
I mean, that makes sense.
They played the commanders and the Saints the last two weeks.
They played the commanders in the rain, didn't score a ton of points.
The Saints obviously didn't score a ton of points.
So let's go Ravens.
Let's get some points.
If Colquamette is out, where do you think you'd have Colson Loveland?
In the teens.
Okay.
All right.
Lamar Jackson's a must start if he plays.
Yep.
Yeah.
Probably QB1 or QB2.
Well, you know, he could have an injury, but.
He's three for me behind Mahomes and Josh out.
When we did the fantasy MVP discussion yesterday, I think he was the fantasy MVP in his first three games.
He was over 30 points every game.
He was insane.
All right. Derek Henry, start or sit. Bears run defense been a lot better over the last two weeks against Kroski, Merritt, and Camara.
This does coincide with the return of T.J. Edwards, coincidence or not. But start or sit, Derek Henry, Jamie.
Must start running back. You must start running back. Henry or Swift?
Henry.
Wow, okay. Henry or Giovante. Did you say Giovante, Heath?
I did.
Okay.
We're not going to start Justice Hill.
Zay Flowers.
How are we feeling about Zay Flowers, Heath?
Must start.
I mean, it's basically like the old Ravens.
Let's go.
I'll update the static again for this week.
2.17 fantasy points per target.
The Bears are allowing to wide receivers this year.
Wow.
Just an insane.
And we talked about it last week with Chris Olave.
Chris Oliva goes out and scores two touchdowns.
Start wide receivers again.
against the Bears.
But it's interesting because, like, Jefferson wasn't really that good.
I mean, he was fine.
He scored a touchdown.
Yeah, no, you're right.
All right, start him.
There's only touchdown of the season.
Yeah, it was week one, right?
They even made Justin Jefferson good.
Starters hit Mark Andrews.
I don't want to start him, but he is one spot ahead of Evan Ingram for me.
Okay.
This is a team that just gave up a touchdown to Zach Ertz two weeks.
ago and 79 yards to Joanne Johnson last week.
Something to consider, I suppose.
I don't think he's a bad play.
It's just, again, there's so many other options out there that I feel like have a higher ceiling.
So I shouldn't have just said no in terms of not starting Mark Andrews.
But again, we have just crazy.
We have so many options at tight end.
Oh, it's always the bad.
Every year it's the best position.
Right, right.
I mean, like really, how could you start Mark Andrews over Mason Taylor or Orande Gadsden or Cade.
or Zachers.
And I have all those guys ahead of Andrews.
I'm making fun of myself, too.
Yeah.
But we've got all these great options.
And don't start Isaiah likely and don't start the DSTs in this game
unless somehow Lamar Jackson does not play.
I think I'm starting the Ravens in one.
Okay, okay.
Would you start the Ravens or the Broncos?
Broncos.
I shouldn't have discounted the Ravens quite like that.
All right, we're going to take a break.
I'm going to think about what I've done.
And when we come back, we'll talk about Washington at Kansas City on Monday night.
We'll be right back.

Did you do this purposely back when you started to plan out the show that Keith would get the AFC home games because he's the chief's guy and Dave once upon a time was a bear's guy so you get the NFC games?
No.
Definitely not.
If I had a guess of why I did AFC on Thursday and NFC on Friday, my guess.
Alphabetical?
No.
Should I even bother with this detour?
Does anyone care?
Yeah, of course.
Everybody likes show history stuff.
Whenever the Giants are involved in a show,
those are the easiest games for me to preview.
Like, I don't feel like I have to do that much research.
I just know the team really well.
So that makes the Friday show a little bit easier for me.
And because there's a game on Thursday night,
it does kind of eat into my work window a little bit.
So I probably put the Giants game on Friday and the NFC.
That's just a guess.
I thought you just didn't want me to troll you
during the Giants game previous.
We'll call that an added bonus.
I hate when the Giants are added
AFC team. I'm like, oh, crap, I've talked
about this game with Heath.
All right, Washington's in Kansas City.
The Chiefs in Arrowhead, man.
Look at who they faced.
They face the Eagles, Ravens, Lions, and Raiders.
The Eagles, Ravens, and Lions scored 17 to 20 points.
The Raiders scored zero points.
I mean, this defense has been so good at home.
How does that factor in, if at all, Heath,
to the way you rank the commanders with Marcus Mario da this week.
Yeah, I don't, I don't factor it in too much.
I think you've got enough of a concern with a backup quarterback starting against
what we think is a good defense in a game where they're 10.5 point underdogs.
Like all the other things points you in that direction that you don't want.
I think Vegas is taking that into account.
12 and a half points, Brad.
Yeah, because like Marioita is a guy who has routinely gotten you 20 points when he has played.
Do we think he'll get to 20 this week?
Not quite.
18.
Okay.
And just for reference, it looks like the chiefs are even more favor than they were before.
I think the commander's implied total is now 23 and a quarter, 17 and a half.
How much does that change?
How much does this game change, Jamie, if McLaurin and Debo are playing this week?
it'll certainly help the commander's cause,
but I don't think it's going to change very much.
I mean,
you're talking about a team that was struggling
with their rookie of the year quarterback,
you know,
and not playing at a very high level offensively.
And it's now having to go into one of the toughest places
to play in a primetime game.
So it could be ugly,
but it definitely is a plus if the top two receivers are there,
and we haven't seen that since week one.
So, you know,
I would like to see what this looks like.
I would like to see how Debo and McClearn are used together.
I'd like to see it with Jane Daniels.
We're not going to get done,
So you hope to see garbage time.
You know, I think Keith's right.
You know, 18 plus is kind of where you're hoping for Marioada as opposed to 20 plus.
So he'll probably get to 30 or 40 yards rushing with his legs.
He'll probably, you know, find a way to two touchdowns.
That's the hope.
You know, so if he's not too turnover prone, I mean, we've obviously seen Mario to meltdown quite a bit in his career,
which is why he's been a journeyman for so many years.
So I don't have a ton of faith.
but again, six teams on a buy, he's one of the better options.
Can we really get away from Jacori-Croski-Marrett?
I know it's not a good match-up.
He's not catching anything.
He's scored, what, 11 points in his last two games, 10 points in his last two games combined.
But, you know, like who could I start over him at running back?
I think a lot of people cannot get away from Bill.
But I'd start by Deltanite over him.
I'd start Chase Brown over him.
I'd start in full PPR.
I've actually got Woody Marks ahead of him.
I have Marks and Tyler Algier ahead of him this week.
Oh, I was going to add, really Algier.
Wow.
Okay.
And then.
I mean, if you look at the five-game stretch, game by game,
Algear has been better.
He has more better games than Cross Camarrett does in the last five games.
Wow.
We'll talk about the commanders wide receivers a little bit tomorrow, too,
when we get their first practice report.
but Heath already said earlier
they'd both be in the top 24
discussion if they played
and if only one of them played
that guy would be a must start this week, right?
I think I said they'd both be
wide receiver 24 to 30
and if one of them plays by himself
he's probably 18 to 24
and that's a little bit of a guess
because we're not projecting or ranking them.
I have more faith in Debo
just because he's been playing
and we'll probably get some carries
but I think Heath is right in the range.
I probably would have
have Debo in the top 24, for sure, and McLaurin probably in the top 30.
I will say if, like, if ever there was a spot where the chiefs were going to kind of lay an egg and we got a competitive game, this would be it.
Like, you had the Rashi Rice's back celebration last week and you beat the Raiders 31 to 0, and they are at the bills next week.
This is like the ultimate look at the trap.
The trap game, yeah.
It was on the road.
I would agree with you.
So, if those receivers don't play, which give me a commander's receiver that you'd gamble on.
Art Monk.
Chris Moore would be the de facto desperation play for me and then Jalen Lane.
But I don't have, like, we're right now not projecting McClure and Eriebo,
and I don't have any of the commander's wide receivers in my top 48.
The one thing that you do get is these are the guys that Mario has been thrown to
the majority of the practice time.
You know, so he's been working with these guys quite a bit.
How does Zach Ertz compare to the streaming tight ends,
Otten, Schultz, Taylor, Bannon, Gadsden, Jamie?
Behind all of them for me.
So I know Ertz has played very well the last two weeks.
Again, track record with Marioo so far, not great in the two games this season.
And that was against Vegas.
And I forget, they played in week four, maybe New Orleans.
And then you have, the Chiefs are just great.
great against tight ends.
So it's a bad setup for me.
I don't have him,
like I still would start him over Andrews
and Evan Ingram, for example,
just because of how he's played.
And again, if those guys, I might adjust that if
both receivers are back for
Washington, but
you just look at what can't, like they erase
Titans.
Yeah, I mean,
other than Leporta.
Right.
And Ertz, hey, Ertz has had
five or more targets in four games and he scored
in every one of those games.
So we want to have a little faith.
I think, yeah, he's, I, like, I have him ahead of Taylor,
but all the other streamers are right of them.
All right, let's go to the Chief.
Start Mahomes.
Would you start Isaiah Pacheco or, uh, Jacori Croski Merritt?
Pacheco.
They are so close.
I've got, I've got Bill one spot higher than Pacheco.
We're going to find out today about Cream Hunt.
Yeah, well, fine.
I mean, he might not practice today.
Unfortunately, I think you got to wait until the weekend to know,
but Richard Smith is in the Monongai group.
Like you want to pick him up.
You don't necessarily want to start him.
I don't have a problem starting him this week based on what the last four games have been for him.
So he's been three catches or more in every game over that span and 5.1 ppr points in every game over that span.
So you have A, the potential of Kreme Hunt not playing or not playing his full, a lot of snaps.
B, the blowout potential here, which is what we saw last year.
We had 14 carries.
So they've already given you a blueprint of what's going to happen when they're up big.
They're going to turn to Breschard Smith.
And then there's a floor of, oh, my God, I'm desperate.
I'll take those five to seven points, and they may help you.
I'm starting him in our 14-team podcast league that I thought was so great three weeks ago,
and then everybody got hurt.
Kansas Citywide receivers, so Washington's actually been pretty solid lately,
other than that big play to C.D. Lamb.
However, they did lose their best pass rusher for the season, Doran's Armstrong.
Start, obviously, Rishi Rice.
Xavier Worthy.
All right, how would Xavier Worthy,
compared to the commander's wide receivers.
I'd go Debo Worthy, McCorn.
That's probably right.
I've got Worthy at 25 right now.
I think Worthy's one bad game away from being a sit in, you know, going forward.
From being like top, you know, 30-ish.
He's probably, I don't think you're going to sit him next week against the bills.
Because that game's probably going to have an over under a 54,
and the chiefs are actually going to have to throw more.
I also would not be surprised if this is the, hey,
Rice got his game last week.
We're not going to forget about you worthy.
And we're going to get a couple big plays and a couple carries as well.
So it wouldn't shock me if he has a big play or two that saves his production.
So like we're talking about him very similar to what we've been saying about George Pickens.
Like it's probably not sustainable, but you'll get a good player attached to a great quarterback in an offense that's going to score a lot of points.
And so he'll probably be in that fringy range almost on a week-to-week basis.
Everybody eats.
Kelsey, start or sit?
he's behind the streamers for me and ahead of Ertz, Andrews, that range.
So, like, I know it sounds weird, but I would start Mason Taylor over him this week.
I would start the streamers over him except for Mason Taylor, and I would start Kelsey over Earths.
Okay. Jets are at the bang.
Oh, Chiefs DST is top three.
They've been mostly good in good matchups.
And I will say just in regards to Kelsey, I don't know if you're dropping him for those guys.
I probably would not do that.
Okay.
Maybe he's...
Okay.
Kansas City to SD start.
Jets are at the Bengals.
Updated stat of the game.
The Bengals now have allowed 16.7 or more PPR fantasy points
to a running back in every game.
And 11.5 for more PPR fantasy points.
The multiple running backs in the same game three times,
I don't think that's going to happen here.
But this is a great matchup for Briseau.
He's coming off two bad games, but Jamie Brissaw is a must start.
He's top 10 running back for me.
So I'm hopeful.
it's been, you know, very difficult to watch.
Still looking for his first touchdown.
The work in the passing game has not been there like we saw at least in the first game of the season or second game of season, whichever one that was.
So it's, you're almost waiting for him to get traded at this point to maximize his fantasy potential, but this is just one of those weeks.
You know, I mean, again, I like Jalen Warren last week.
He was the start of the week.
He had 19 PPR points without a touchdown.
So there's, there's huge upside here for, for Brees Hall this week.
all right look if garrison plays obviously he's a he's a must start um if he doesn't you guys are
not expecting garret wilson at this point right no they have their buy next week it'd be surprised
if he does play are you going to drop mason taylor slightly but it's such a great matchup i mean
again incredible number one to opposing tight ends nine touchdowns to the position seven of those
have come in the last three weeks they just gave up four touchdowns to tight ends to the
Steelers last week.
Like, this is a huge opportunity for Mason Taylor, and I think it helps him if
Tarad's the starter because he'll probably play a little bit more on schedule and get the
ball to him in some spots where he can make some plays.
So I wouldn't drop him too much if I'm going to drop him at all.
How, okay, so just...
And to be fair, Taylor's best games have come with Wilson on the field.
Yeah.
Yeah, I mean, I think if Tarad Taylor and Garrett Wilson are out there, and this is a competitive
game, you know, it's probably a good game.
The Jets have actually been pretty competitive each of the last two weeks.
Defend playing very well.
Yeah, they've been horrible offensively.
And I know that it's poo-poo Justin Fields' week, and I understand why.
But Terrod Taylor has not been even kind of good as a passer this year.
He's averaging five and a half yards per attempt.
I think he's an upgrade.
You've got three interceptions on 69 passes.
Like, I don't think he's really that much of a boost for the passing game.
All right, but that's this year.
I totally agree with you in terms of who's throwing the ball better when you're just looking at how they're doing it.
But I think in case of keeping the offense on schedule, that is probably a benefit to Taylor, just based on being a veteran and trying to get those guys a little bit more involved.
He's come in in some bad spots, too, where he's had to throw from behind and not been great.
I think every spot playing quarterback for the Jets right now is bad.
So it will be interesting to see because, you know, I was stupid enough to fall for Justin Fields last week thinking that he would run and have a little bit more success.
if he starts this week, there's so much upsides.
Yeah, enormous.
But I don't know.
See, the thing is, I don't know about that with Garrett Wilson out.
I guess their roster is so bad.
I don't even think he can compensate.
We're talking about passing and all that.
It's not, it's honestly, the passing is one thing.
It's the sacks.
The sacks that he's taken are insane.
Yeah, he has a 14% sack rate, which is insanely bad.
Drod Taylor has an 11% sack rate, which is insanely bad.
No, that's bad.
All right, so Breesall must start, you know, the Jets quarterback.
Would you start Marietta or Tyrod Taylor?
Marioita or a Jets quarterback?
I'm going to fall for fields again if Justin Care Wilson plays.
Well, if Wilson plays, yeah, but if he doesn't play.
No, then I would start Mario.
Yep.
Okay.
Mason Taylor, how do you rank Mason Taylor with, okay, Mason Taylor or Aten?
Otten.
Schultz.
Shultz, assuming that Nico is out.
Mason Taylor or Fanon.
Fanon.
Assuming the Joku's out.
And if the Joku plays?
Taylor.
Probably Taylor.
Got a question in the chat.
Mason Taylor or Hunter Henry?
Taylor.
This is going to be the test.
Is it just a home road thing for Henry?
10 plus PPR points in every home game so far this year,
seven or less in every road game this year.
And for what it's worth,
the Browns are good against number one tight ends
as he brought up a few weeks ago.
Joe Flacco is 13th for Jamie.
I was in here for a week.
10th, yeah, it was last week.
Yeah, Joe Flacco, 13th for Jamie,
10th for Heath, and 11th for Dave.
So he's a borderline starter.
Jets are 21st against quarterbacks.
They've been better.
They really only had two bad games against quarterbacks.
Aaron Rogers, week one,
Dak Prescott, three weeks ago.
We talked a lot about Chase Brown already.
He's startable.
You know, I guess don't be too surprised by last week's game.
It was an enigma for him.
But, you know, the Jets, by the way,
They are very good against past catching running backs.
They allow the third fewest receiving yards per game.
So he may not get, like, he may not have, like, Devon A-chan had two receiving yards.
Giovante Williams had four.
RJ Harvey 21, Chuba Hubbard, 24.
It may not be a big receiving game for him.
And the funny thing is like, so Chase Brown averaged almost 10 yards per carry last week, right?
Yeah.
He scored 12 fantasy points.
Yeah.
Right.
Jamie, we're starting, Chase.
What about Higgins?
Yeah, right back to him.
I mean, 18 targets in the two starts with Flacco and huge game last week.
It could have been better if he scored the touchdown as opposed to sliding inside the five and killing the clock.
So with how Flacco's operating, you already mentioned no Soss Gardner.
We know what the number two receiver has done opposite Soss Gardner.
Look at Xavier Ligette, for example, last week.
So there's so much potential for Higgins in this game.
with Gardner without Gardner.
So to me, he's a top 15 wide receiver this week.
It's almost as if what Joe Flacko looks like is what we expected for Joe Burrow being there.
And again, it's not maybe the same heights, but same amount of volume.
Receivers are going to make plays because the passes will be catchable and offense will operate on schedule.
Really, the biggest thing from last week for me was the offensive line looked as good as it's looked all season and maybe the last two years.
So will that continue?
I would hope, you know, I think they found the right formula.
So, yeah, Higgins, to me, is an Easter.
I just wanted to say that, you know, you mentioned the streaming tendons.
You didn't bring up Aranda Gadsden is he not streaming anymore?
Sorry about that.
I was thinking of the Sunday slate, I guess.
Gadsden.
Gadsden or Taylor?
Gadsden.
Gadsden.
Question in the chat.
Gadsden or Otten?
Otten for me, but that's, well, I guess we already know that Godwin's out.
Otten.
Okay.
Question from the chat.
Higgins or Olabe.
Alabe for me.
I would love to start both, but I would go
Alabe as well. Quintan Judkins or
Breece Hall?
Breeze Hall.
It's Breeze Hall and
full PPR.
Quinceon Judkins or Chase Brown?
Judkins.
Judkins.
All right. I think that's
it for this. Looking at some more
here.
Barkley, Judkins, or Chase Brown?
Barkley.
Barkley.
Okay.
All right.
I think that'll Bo Nix or Joe Flacco, it's got to be Bo Nix.
Bo Nix.
All right.
That's it for that game.
What's next?
We've got, oh, Noah Fant, no, we're not going on.
Oh, I hope.
I'm playing you in one league out of my hope.
I have Barclay.
I hope he goes off against your team.
Is that the FFT League?
Yeah.
Oh, where you drafted Pacheco just to spite me?
Nice work there.
I think I'm starting this week.
Oh, that's a killer.
No.
I think I have to
because I lost Hampton
and I've been starting
unfortunately
brutal
all right Cleveland at New England
stat of the game
Cleveland is gonna come down
the Monday night
like you're ahead by like four
yeah
it goes on the goal line
just the final yes
that's the perfect
on one play
oh man
and then Adam's just tilting
I'm tilting
just
I'm up by six
and he's at the goal line
they run one of those plays
where they fake the handoff
and the running back goes out
into the flat.
That works every time.
Every time.
It's the most effective play
in the world.
They throw him a touchdown
and he scored seven.
All right.
I am starting for Checoe.
Let's go.
Great.
Cleveland has held
Joe Burrow,
Jordan Love,
Jared Gough,
and Tuatung of Iloa
to 16.7
or fewer fantasy points
in six point
for passing touchdown leagues.
They were bad
against Lamar Jackson.
Aaron Rogers scored 21 and a half,
but this is probably
the toughest matchup for Drake May.
Who are some guys
you'd start over Drake May Heath?
Um, I don't know if there's anybody that, I mean, Justin Herbert, Bo Nix, Baker Mayfield.
And then obviously- When I go back and forth, it was Daniel Jones. I would start Jones over him this week.
I've got May higher, but, yeah, he's in that range.
I mean, Baker's interesting because Baker stunk last week. Obviously, he's got depleted situation here.
So.
Have you seen the Saints play defense?
He's had a depleted situation for most of the year.
Yeah, I mean, I guess so. All right. Sit Dylan Gabriel. Start quenchon, Judge.
He's top 15.
He's not,
look, there's a little bit of risk.
The Patriots have a great run defense,
and he doesn't catch passes.
It's hard to get away from him, though.
As I said on Monday,
you know, the difference between him and J.K. Dobbins,
the difference between Judkins and Jacori-K. Crosky Merritt
is that Judkins gets 20-ish carries.
They just run the ball a lot more.
Hopefully they can stay in this game and do that.
Breeze Hall or, oh, I already asked you that,
Brees Hall or Judkins.
How about, let me give you a wide receiver.
How about T. Higgins or Judkins?
Higgins.
I'd probably go Judkins.
Yeah.
Because you could say, I mean,
the Patriots have held Ashton Genti,
Chuba Hubbard, Alvin Camara, and James Cook
to 12 or fewer PPR fantasy points.
With James Cook,
like James Cook had 15 carries for 49 yards and no catches.
A game like that's not out of the question.
I'm not trying to make you sit, Judkins,
but just trying to just...
This is not a lot more...
...that's going to win you your week.
There you go, there you go.
Uh, would you start a Cleveland wide receiver? Jerry, Judy, missing practice yesterday. Okay, great. Um, Josh Gordon. Give me your breakdown. Heath, you have to talk about the Brown's tight ends. It's your birthright. Give me a breakdown of, uh, how you'd approach them, uh, with him without a joku.
Harold Fanon is must start if Najoku's not playing. Um, it was a disappointing game last week, but they threw 18 passes and he had a 27% target share. They're going to throw a lot more than 18 passes in this game. If Najoku's back, I'm going to start Fanon.
over in a Joku, but they'll be right around that Zach, probably both of them, right around
that Zach Ertz, Mark Andrews range.
So behind Otten, behind Gadsden, behind Schultz, but somebody you might still have to start
because at this point, you've probably missed the streaming tight-ins.
Okay, so Ramandre Stevenson is not someone we're super thrilled about this week.
But again, you know, he's a starting running back.
Stevenson or Chase Brown?
Brown?
Brown.
Chase Brown.
Looking for chat questions here, if anybody has them for this game.
Stevenson or Stefan, you'd go Diggs, right?
Diggs, yep.
How about Diggs or Judkins?
Jutkins.
Yeah, probably.
Okay.
Cajon Booty, interested?
No.
I've got a bad joke.
I'm not going to make it.
He's a wide receiver four.
Kisham Booty has run by far the most.
I don't know if I said this when I talked about Pickens,
but Pickens has run the second most go routes in the NFL.
Kishon Booty's run like 20 more than him.
It's just basically all he does.
So he is boom or bust.
He could definitely catch a touchdown, deep one like he did last week.
It's just whether, whether, I mean,
teams have had a really hard time, I think,
getting those deep passes against the Browns
because can you keep Miles Garrett away long enough?
Miles Garrett against Will Campbell.
That's going to be fun.
And then Hunter Henry, I think we have to approach him as a sit.
One thing that's underrated that's happened with the Patriots is that they are barely throwing.
Drake May has thrown a lot in their two losses, and he barely throws in their five wins.
So it's just hurting everyone, except Diggs seems to get most of the time.
Well, and part of it is, like, he's had so much success on the few downfield throws that he's had,
that I think that's lowered their plays on offense.
He's had
Oh, oh yeah
Like when you throw 40-yard touchdowns
You don't run near as many plays
Or throw near as many passes
And he's had a few of those
All right, I got some questions
About this game here
Hunter Henry or Arande Gatston
Gatston Gatston
Kishon, Booty, Mason Taylor
or Harold Fanon
Fanon
Fanon as long as Njoku's out
And if Njoku plays
We go Taylor
Yes
probably should i drop travion henderson for tyler alger
uh if you need a player for this week to start i would
they both have at this point you got to consider them handcuffs
and the higher end handcuff at this point would be algear so it's probably the right
move to me i i would i only add one more qualifier to jamies if you need a player to
start this week and you have less than six wins if i have a really good team i
don't really want to drop Henderson.
DAC or May?
Dak.
I've got May, I think, one spot higher right now.
Diggs or Swift?
Swift.
And May or Baker?
Baker.
Browns or Patriots, DST?
Patriots.
Patriots, they're both starts.
Tennessee is at Indianapolis, that of the game.
No quarterback has scored more than 21.3.
fantasy points on passing totals alone against Tennessee.
And Daniel Jones hasn't really been running that much.
So over under 21.3 fantasy points for Daniel Jones.
That's a great number.
I'm going to say under, but at 21.
I have him projected for 20.4.
All right.
So those are the expectations for Daniel Jones.
I will say encouraging stuff for Cam Ward, not necessarily for him, but for his past
catchers. He has thrown 34 or more passes, Cam Ward we're talking about here, for 222 to 265 yards in
three straight games. And that is an environment where someone could be good. And the Colts,
they are the highest scoring team in football, and they give up the most fantasy points to wide
receivers. So do we have any sleepers in this game that we actually like, Jamie? No, but
desperation plays. I mean, I think you just look at the two rookies and try and figure out
which is going to be the better of the two.
So, D.K., last week, had the big touchdown on the opening drive, didn't really do much.
Otherwise, hasn't really done much for the season.
I-O. Manor has disappeared since essentially week three or four when he scored his last touchdown.
So it's just such a coin flip at this point.
I think their first drive last week, they scripted it very well.
I didn't like there was a ward came out and hit two passes, and then they did some stupid end around.
It just didn't make any sense.
Like, you get your quarterback in rhythm, let him go.
but it's just so hard to trust.
You know, I mean, they're going on the road.
The last time Ward faced Emmy through a pick six in the first quarter,
like this is not the best situation for anything.
I think you said it perfectly.
Start them all, said them all.
And it might be that one of the Titans, two tight ends,
has the success.
The Arande Gadsden game did come against this defense.
And Tony Pollard, Tony Pollard or Ramandre Stevenson?
Pollard for me.
Uh, I would go, uh, you, Woody Marks.
Um, yeah, it's fair.
I, yeah, probably Stevenson.
Okay.
I do like that power.
I had six catches last time.
And he did score one of his two touchdowns against the Colts.
All right.
We've spoken enough about Daniel Jones.
We're going to start Jonathan Taylor.
We're going to start Tyler Warren, but this is actually a tough matchup.
Tennessee's been very good against tight ends.
I would just wonder if their defense will be good against anything without Jeffrey Simmons.
Um, talk to me about the Colts wide receivers.
so yeah he just give me the lay of the land i think downs will probably play based on the fact that he
was limited in practice and he's about 50% rostered but your thoughts here yeah i think if you're
desperate for a wide receiver downs is the most likely guy to still be out there on the on the waiver
wire that might be a top 36 guy i'd probably have him right in the Marvin mims troy franklin
range if he plays pitman is a must start and i don't
really believe the Alec Pierce thing.
I don't want to trust him in a game where they're going to throw 25 passes,
but if Downs is out, Pierce is someone you could put in the flex.
I don't really believe it that much either.
It's not like his role changes.
It's not like he goes as being a more short area reliable guy.
He just gets more targets, but Pierce is like Kashan booty.
You know, it's just everything is downfield.
And Pittman is like a half must start this week?
Yeah.
Top 20?
Pitman or Higgins?
Pitman if Downs is up.
Right.
And Colts DST is top two.
Start them.
And Jamie wanted me to bring something up about Joe Flacco.
Do you want to...
The question was, do we agree with Joe Flacco's take?
Can you summarize it?
Because I didn't see it.
He said...
He's talked about just being in Cincinnati without his family there.
And he was talking about spending more time with the facility, you know, just trying to keep himself busy.
And he says when he goes out, Titi's by himself.
So he used to look at the guy sitting at the bar or the restaurant by himself.
And he said, I would feel sorry for him.
You know, I thought should I go sit next to that guy?
He goes, then I realized that that guy's probably just in heaven.
And so.
A little peace and quiet.
Yeah.
I mean, we have kids, all three of us.
And, you know, getting those moments of quiet.
Sometimes it's just something you got to do.
Yeah. I don't know about going to a restaurant by herself.
Like being at home by herself is one thing.
At restaurant, I used to go to restaurants when I lived alone in Palm Beach and I was like,
oh, this is nice, but, you know, got old.
You drop people off at the club, then go to a restaurant, get dinner, and then go pick them back up.
Yeah, I would prefer to do that than stay at the club with them.
Right.
For sure.
But I don't know.
What was the last time you ate at a restaurant by yourself?
Oh, that's not, like I was just thinking about that.
well, Jamie was saying it.
Like, my youngest is now 16.
I'm getting a lot more of that type of time.
Now, it's usually with my wife.
But last time I ate in a restaurant by myself
was probably the last time that I traveled.
So August.
Now, Heath and I are in a scenario.
You'll get there, Adam, you know, with your son playing sports.
Like, if you drop your kid off at a,
practice or a game, like to warm up, for example.
You know, so my kids play a lot of baseball.
You get there an hour before the game starts.
Very rare that I'm not coaching.
But in those scenarios, like, I'll drop them off.
I'm not going to sit there and watch them warm up.
So I'll go grab something to eat and then come back.
So I do it very frequently, and I love it.
I love it.
That's great.
I do.
I mean, you know, again, it's odd times.
You know, I wouldn't at 6 o'clock say to my family, see you.
Yeah, right.
You know, but.
But I live 30 minutes from the office.
So does Heath?
There are times where I didn't eat lunch,
so I'll stop and grab a sandwich
and I'll just sit there and stare at my phone
to see what injury updates are happening.
And I very much enjoy that.
It's nice.
All right, folks.
Have a great day.
Enjoy the game tonight.
We will talk to you tomorrow
with Starter Sit for the NFC home games
where we get to talk about the Giants
in a Heath-free zone.
You're safe space.
All right.
Let's go get a win.
Let's get off to a good start tonight.
See you later, everyone.
