This is fantasy football today from CBS Sports.
What a play!
And you believe this?
No, I can.
It's time to dominate your fantasy league.
Off to the races, and he stays on his feet.
It's just going to go the distance.
Now here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie, and Heath.
We're getting into week 12.
Welcome to fantasy football today, presented by VETMGM, mega-legendary.
We've got seven games to talk about today.
Are we going to get a bounce back from Daniel Jones?
Are we going to get a big week from the Lions offense?
I feel a lot more confident in one of those two things.
Are we even going to get Lamar Jackson this week?
Are we going to get Joe Burrow this week?
Lamar Jackson did not practice while Joe Burrow practiced in full.
Welcome, everyone.
Adam Azer.
Hello, Jamie Eisenberg.
Hello, Adam Azer and Heath Cummings.
Hello, Heath.
I'm supposed to introduce Heath, but okay, whatever.
Hello, Heath.
Hey.
What's up?
It's up, guys.
How's it going?
Okay.
All right.
We got a seven-hour show.
We don't have time for how's it goings.
You know, just easy the tension, baby.
Indianapolis at Kansas City, Pittsburgh at Chicago, Jacksonville at Arizona, New England
at Cincinnati, Cleveland at Las Vegas, Seattle at Tennessee, and the Jets at Baltimore.
You know, my favorite thing is Heath from Adam is that whenever he tells us before a show,
guys, we got to be quick, we can't take too long on a show.
And then when we make this show quick, he's like, oh, we got us some time.
Let's, let's, uh, you know.
Of course.
I'm just asking you for time for us to banter about nonsense at the end.
All right.
Let's get into the players we love this week.
Jamie's got Jared Goff against the Giants, Alvin Camara against Atlanta, and Michael
Wilson against the Jaguars.
Yeah, golf is the start of the week.
Excited to see him in his favorite scenario, huge favorites at home against a defense that stinks
against the past.
And so hopefully this is the typical Jared Goff game where he goes crazy.
Giants number three
in terms of most fantasy points allowed to opposing
quarterbacks almost every quarterback this season has beat up
on them. Secondary may be getting a little
bit healthier but I don't think that matters in this case
with what Dan
Campbell should allow Jared Goff to do
like this is the Jared
Goff scenario I love.
Okay, Camara was an
interesting one to see on there against
the Falcons. So Falcons number
four and most fantasy points allowed to posing
running back for the season in the last
five weeks they're number one.
And so you hope that what we saw from Camara going into his biweek, which was one of his best games of the season, 14 and a half PPR points, that we get that coming off the biweek with fresh legs.
So as you see, if you're watching on YouTube, Sportsline, all in on Alvin Camara at 11.
The rest of us, Keith, Dave, and myself, 23 to 25.
So we're still treating him as more of a number two running back here on the lower end side.
But I still think there's optimism.
And for me, at least, I can't remember the last time I ranked him as a number two.
running back. So I'm actually
may move him up a couple spots because I think this could be
one of those better games. And obviously for Michael Wilson,
he's not going to get 18 targets
again. He's not going to get 15 catches again.
He's not going to get 185 yards. But
Jacoby Burset, three of five starts,
44 plus pass attempts.
Marvin Harrison Jr., the two games before he left,
22 total targets, so 11 per game.
I think we're looking at close to double
digit targets from Michael Wilson in a very
favorable matchup against Jacksonville.
So this should be a borderline number one
wide receiver, but a solid number two.
option that you should be starting for almost every league okay i just look at camara's player page
there's a lot of good matchups on paper left Atlanta Miami Tampa Bay uh Carolina
Carolina who he just had a good game against so maybe the best is yet to come we'll keep our
fingers crossed on camara and please if you have an open roster spot stashed devine eel because
he's the next man up and if camara gets phased out because they want to see what's happening with
the rest of the roster or injury then we could be uh in line for
you know, maybe a league one or down the stretch.
All right, Heath, your three players that you love are Brock Purdy, Monday night against Carolina,
Jacobi Brissette against the Jaguars, and obviously Jamie likes Michael Wilson,
and I'm sure you do too, and James against the Giants.
So we've got the Lions passing game represented and the Cardinals passing game represented,
and Brock Purdy as well.
Yeah, Brock Purdy came back, first game back, throws three touchdown passes.
That's what the 49ers have done pretty much all season long.
They have scored, what, 20 passing touchdowns, eight rushing touchdowns.
They have been an efficient passing offense, which that you always are with Kyle Shanahan,
but rank, I believe, 32nd in yards per attempt rushing.
They have an implied total of 27.75.
I think Brock Party is just pretty close to a must-start quarterback rest of season.
He's got his full compliments of weapons back except for Brandon Ayuk, and not sure they need.
He'd bring in I yuk this year, so that'll be okay.
Brissette, at least 23 fantasy points in every start.
View him as a must start quarterback.
Why not?
Dave's got him top five.
Why not?
And then James and Williams love the end breaking routes with Dan Campbell.
Love the usage without Sam Leporta.
Top 15 wide receiver.
You were right at him.
It only took a play color change and one of the top weapons getting hurt.
I was right about that.
What about James and Williams?
You were, for a month earlier this season, you were wanting to start Jamison Williams.
Oh.
He did good.
Finally.
He just needed a little circumstance change.
Jamo or Michael Wilson?
Jammo for me.
Jamie?
Wilson for me, but both over Justin Jefferson.
Wow.
And neither of them are called our Jefferson.
It's a weird way.
The emphasis there.
All right.
Sunday, join us on Sunday for.

11 a.m. to 1 p.m. YouTube.com slash fantasy football today. We're answering your
starter set questions. If you haven't been there, it's a lot of fun. We answer a ton of questions.
We chat. We have a good time. We laugh. Players to avoid.
Heath has Daniel Jones at Kansas City, Sean Tucker, Sunday night at the Rams,
and Kareem Hunt in that Chiefs' Colts game as well.
Go ahead, Heath.
Yeah, Daniel Jones is on the road.
Daniel Jones is outside.
I do not want to start Daniel Jones,
and neither does anyone else below 20 fantasy points per game outdoors this season.
Sean Tucker, even if Bucky's not back,
I do not want to think that the rushing efficiency that he had against the bills
is going to transfer over to playing against the Rams.
And it's still, even last week when he was off,
awesome, Rashad White's not just completely going away. I think you're probably in this game looking at somewhere around 12 rush attempts for Sean Tucker, which even if he's good is probably 60 yards instead of 180 yards. So he's a high-end flex if there's no Bucky Irving. I don't want to start him anywhere if Bucky Irving is back. Get away from Sean Tucker. Cream Hunt, kind of a same situation. Isaiah Pacheco's back. You see the rankings here. Mine has not been updated since we've added Pacheco to the
rankings, but he is not actually going to be a top 30 running back for me.
Okay.
And yeah, right, Pacheco being back is a bummer for Kareem Hunt.
Jamie's three to avoid Ashton Genti against Cleveland, Caleb Williams against Pittsburgh,
and Dalton Schultz tonight against Buffalo.
So let me just give you a quick stat on Cleveland.
Tell me if this changes your mind at all, because we have this idea that they're this
dominant run defense, their fourth best against running backs.
But over their last five games,
running backs are averaging or maybe six games since week four running backs are averaging
four and a half yards per carry against cleveland does that change anything for you jamie
i believe that gentie is uh or the offensive line for the raiders is generating like
the least amount of yards per carry per rush um they're they're just not very good right now
and i hope they're going to give him more than six carries i hope that he's going to perform
better he's got four games this season with single digits in ppr he's coming off obviously a
miserable game. I hope he's going to continue to be involved in the passing game, and that saved
him last week. But, like you said, they are not, I think, reflective of what their defense actually
is. But I also think, like, this is just a bad spot for Genti right now because of what is going to
potentially happen to Gino Smith in this offense. Like, I think Miles Garrett's going to make things pretty
miserable for him. So Genti's got to score. He's going to have to, you know, get in the end zone. I think,
Maybe he has another game with five catches, but at this point, the offensive line down to guys, you know, at least the two that, you know, R&I are in Miller and Jackson Powers, are really impacting how this game is being played for Genty at this point.
So 24 is probably a little bit too low, and I don't think most people are sitting him across the board, but he's the, he's the bus alert for me in this scenario for the column this week.
Um, in the case of Dalton Schultz, you know, he's playing the tight end erasers.
Uh, they are amazing in terms of what they do to the position.
And so, um, we saw it last week.
It was the same setup for KDOT.
He was coming off this amazing stretch of games.
And then they just completely take him out that the tight end production against them has
been absolutely miserable.
One guy with double digits and PPR is Travis Kelsey.
Um, almost every tight end they face has had not season lows, but close to season lows.
And it's been a good list of tight ends, but certainly guys,
in the Dalton Shultz range.
And then what was the other one, Caleb Williams?
Yeah, Caleb Williams against Pittsburgh.
Yeah, he's been, you said this, I don't know if it was Sunday or at some point during
a week.
He takes advantage of great matchups.
The Steelers, the last three games against opposing quarterbacks have been fantastic.
And so he may be able to find his way into quality production, but this is actually
a good week for quarterbacks.
So I like, for example, I like Sam Darnold's situation against the Titans better.
Jacoby Brissette, we've talked about.
Brock Purdy, we've talked about.
I like those guys better than Caleb Williams.
So if you can get away from him this week, I would try to do so.
Here's some good news, though, just for the fantasy community.
It looks like we don't have a bad weather week this week.
It looks like it's actually a really good weather week, a little bit warmer than it was last week.
It doesn't look like we're going to have that crazy wind.
Lots of indoor games, too.
Yeah.
Okay, that's also good.
But, yeah, I walked outside this morning.
I was like, ooh, this isn't so bad.
You guys are so lucky.
I hate walking outside.
Did you say it like that?
Kind of.
Oh, you're like, man, I miss Florida.
Okay, news and notes.
Lamar Jackson missed practice with an ankle injury.
He has now had hamstring, knee, and ankle injuries recently.
They did not say he's definitely going to play this week.
It's kind of hinted that he'd be on the same schedule as last week,
which was Miss Wednesday, get back at practice later in the week and play.
Any downgrade right now, well, I'll ask you tomorrow.
We'll see what happens with Amar Jackson today.
Shudor Sanders is starting this week.
Jackson Dart, still in the concussion protocol, but making progress.
there. He's got a chance to play. Joe Burrow practiced in full. Jamie, we talked earlier before
the show. You didn't seem to be taking it super seriously that he might play this week. How are you
feeling about it? No, no, I'm taking it seriously, but you're, explain your dilemma.
Well, I mean, in a Super Flex League, I have both Texans quarterbacks. Obviously, I don't want to
start them. I just picked up Mason Rudolph, so now I have both Steelers quarterbacks, and I have
Joe Flacco. So I might have to start Davis Mills because if Joe Burrow plays, then I've only
got the Steelers quarterbacks after Thursday.
And, yeah, I don't know.
So that's kind of a bummer.
No one else really has to have this dilemma because, you know, you're starting Josh
Allen tonight.
You're not starting Davis Mills tonight in almost any league.
But yeah, look, he practiced last week.
He's practicing in full right now.
There's a report that just came out from Ian Rappaport, from Zach Taylor, on a show,
on radio show in Cincinnati just now.
asked about Joe Burrow he said if Joe Burroughs playing Sunday he said I'm not there yet
okay I mean I think you said nobody's starting Davis Mills this week but in a super
flex league if your only options were Davis Mills or Joe Flacco looks that way now you could
start you could start a non quarterback which I might do right yeah but right but we'll see what
happens today, but it still
seems like right now, our guess is
he's not playing this week, Gregorough.
CJ Stroud is out, Aaron
Rogers missed practice, but he's got a chance
to play, and Michael Pennix. So Pennix
did not tear his ACL, but he still needs
reconstructive surgery, and he's going to be out
about nine months, Michael Pennix.
What a bummer. Oh, man,
this guy who's had two ACL injuries
in college. Running back news.
Hey, Trey Benson, the practice
window has been opened. Once a guy is
off I-R, or, you know, the
practice window's been open from i.R. He has 21 days to play or he has to miss
the rest of the season. So Benson's practicing, or at least he's got the, the clock has
started. Josh Jacobs missed practice. Jalen Warren mispractice. Not a surprise, but both of those
guys are trying to get back for this Sunday. Bucky Irving was limited.
Liam Cohen, first of all, Bejel Tootin was limited, but Liam Cohen said that Tudin and
the Quint Allen, who basically just plays on passing downs, have been practicing better. And
And that's why Tutin earned more playing time.
But it seems like he's going to play.
I mentioned yesterday that Ken Walker may get more work.
Somaget Pyrine is doubtful.
That's good news for Chase Brown.
Isaiah Pacheco practiced in full, as Heath mentioned.
That's bad news for Kareem Hunt.
And Ramandre Stevenson practiced.
Are you guys expecting Stevenson to play at Cincinnati?
Yes.
Yep.
Okay.
He was limited, though, and so that's where he was at the beginning of last week, too.
So it's not a sure thing.
It will make a big difference in my trivia on Hendon.
in ranking. I don't think you should panic in any stretch about Trevion. And I do think that if you're
stuck this week and you have Ramonja on your bench, you could probably use them. Remember, this is
a team in the Bengals. Four running back duos have scored 11 plus ppr points against them this season.
And if you get 11 out of Stevenson, you're pretty happy about that. I think you still get 15 plus
out of Trevion. We'll see how they use them. But for me going into it, I would not be afraid of really
either one if I was stuck with really, you know, forced to be using Stevenson, but Trevion is still
very highly ranked for me. Okay. So if Stevenson plays, you just said you like Camara as a number
two running back, borderline number two. Camara or Stevenson? Stevenson will not crack my top
24, but you're leaving that next group of guys. I meant Henderson. Sorry. Henderson or Camara?
Yeah. Henderson. So, okay. Yeah, it'd be probably Camara for me if Stevenson plays.
Oh, okay. Okay. So we will preview that game in a little bit. I'll give you another
stat about the Bengals and running backs.
We'll see if it could continue.
Marvin Harrison Jr.'s out.
Xavier Worthy, mispractice with an ankle injury.
Brian Thomas Jr. was limited as he was last week.
Khalil Shakir is going to play tonight.
Darius Slayton mispractice.
Drake London could be back next week.
That's great news for him.
That would be at the Jets.
Kishon Booty practiced.
Jaden Reed mispractice and every other Packers wide receiver was limited.
So it looks like they are going to be pretty healthy.
They might get Reed back, but right now we're thinking no.
Rashad Bateman mispractice.
Tori Horton mispractice.
Chimari Dike practiced in full while Ellick Isle Manor mispractice, and Chris Godwin was limited.
So limited for Godwin and Bucky Irving again.
David Adjoku's day-to-day, Dalton Kincaid is out.
Isaiah likely mispractice with a calf issue.
It looks like Austin Hooper is making good progress from the concussion protocol.
Tyler Higby is on IR for the Rams and Micah Sicki.
We talked about him getting his practice window open.
Offensive line who's not only is Lane Johnson out four to six weeks, but center Cam Jurgens for the Eagles.
he's in the concussion protocol.
I can't wait to break down that game tomorrow.
Philadelphia is at Dallas.
Minnesota Center Ryan Kelly practice
and both Detroit offensive tackles miss practice,
but that is not unusual for a Wednesday,
and they typically play.
And then I'll skip the defensive stuff,
except I will tell you that linebacker T.J. Edwards for Chicago,
he missed practice.
And I keep saying it.
Whenever he has played, their run defense has been really good.
Whenever Edwards has not played,
the Bears' run defense has been horrible.
So he misses practice to start the week and they get Pittsburgh.
All right, sorry for babbling.
We'll take a break.
One question for each game when we come back.
You know, some trips are just better when you can really unplug,
spend time with family, see friends,
or hit the course with the guys on our yearly golf trip.
This year, me and the boys stayed in a home on Airbnb,
which happened to be a guest favorite, and it was right on the course.
We could walk straight to tee off every morning,
and it was just a short stroll to the local shops, bars, and restaurants.
Staying in a place on Airbnb gives you plenty of room to spread out, cozy living areas to
hang out in, and all the privacy you need.
Staying somewhere like that makes everything feel more like a home than a hotel, and
you get a real feel for the neighborhood.
I'm already planning on how to go bigger and better next year.
Luckily, there's so many options to choose from on Airbnb.
So whether it's family, friends, or golf getaway, my biggest tip is to check out Airbnb,
out their guest favorites, which are the most loved homes on Airbnb, and you'll be amazed at what you find.

One question for each game.
Indianapolis is at Kansas City.
How do you feel, Heath, about the Colts wide receivers?
Chiefs allow the eighth fewest fantasy points to wide receivers.
Michael Pittman's a low-end wide receiver two.
Alec Pierce is a boom-bust wide receiver three.
I don't want to start any other Colts-wide receivers.
Pittsburgh's at Chicago.
Jamie, start or sit, Romo Dunzee.
So he said the other day how bad wide receiver is for the week.
And just in listening to his answer,
like I have two Colts wide receivers in my top 24.
I'm definitely starting Romo Duncee this week.
We have a show on HQ this afternoon that we do starts and sits,
and we have to send in five starts and five sits.
And the list always comes out really late.
And so I'm always sending like players 10 through.
15 on the start sit list
and I did not put a wide
receiver on the sits because
I can't find any wide receivers to say
to sit. I write
a very lengthy article every week
if I was starting to sit and that
was the toughest position I had to deal with was
okay yeah, let's just
live in the wide receiver three range because anybody
that's in the wide receiver two range, you have to start
this week. Okay. Yeah, Pittsburgh
is allowed 90 or more yards
to 10 wide receivers
in 10 games. But
mostly just studs, and hopefully Romo Dunzee can stay in that category.
Jacksonville is at Arizona.
Heath, would you start anyone in the Jacksonville passing game?
Oh, I might start lots of people in the Jacksonville passing game.
Like, if, assuming Brian Thomas Jr. is out, then I think Jacoby Myers and Parker, Washington,
are both wide receiver 3s.
If Branton Strange is back, he's a borderline tight end one, probably a high-end tight-end two.
I'd prefer not to, but there's certainly, if you're starting three wide receivers,
I think you have to consider a Jacksonville wide receiver.
Not Trevor Lawrence, though, right?
I don't want to start Trevor Lawrence unless I'm a Super Flex League.
I do have to start them in a 14-team 1 QB league, but that's the way things are.
Yep. New England's at Cincinnati.
Trevion Henderson in this great matchup, or Chase Brown in this brutal matchup, Jamie?
I will start Henderson with or without Stevenson.
over Chase Brown.
Definitely not the same answer for Heath, right?
Nope.
I'll start Henderson over Brown
if Romandre is out.
I'll start Brown over Henderson
if Remandre's in.
The updated stat of the game
is Cincinnati has still allowed
16.7 or more
PPR fantasy points to a running back
in every single game.
Holy moly, that's a lot.
So that's going to be tough
for Henderson if Ramonre plays,
but probably very attainable
if he doesn't play.
And then Chase Brown, you've got to hope for that passing production, right?
You know, so because the run...
I mean, he might have double-digit targets, really, with no chase especially.
He's been so involved in the passing game.
And now they don't have the guy they've been throwing 35% of their passes, too.
Cleveland is at Las Vegas, Vagish.
Heath, Ashton Genty or Quinchon Judkins?
Definitely Ashton Jentee for me.
And it's just the fact that he has 18 targets and 14 catches in his last three games.
like they've really made it focus
they're not running the ball anymore
that's frustrating
but he's I think you should expect
four or five catches minimum from him
and it's not like Cleveland's going to run away in this game
probably a very low scoring game
but plenty of opportunities for the Raiders
to run the ball more than six times
Jim you give that stat about the Raiders
generating the fewest yards whatever
their offensive line I wonder where Cleveland ranks in there too
because Judkins is probably not far behind you
Yeah, these two guys are getting no help.
Who would you go with, Jamie, Judkins or Gentie?
Judkins slightly, just because I know that they're going to run the ball.
I think Heath is right.
I don't expect either team to be well ahead one way or the other.
But, you know, looking at these two teams and how they're probably going to operate,
you know, both quarterbacks are probably going to struggle.
You know, it's which defense do you trust.
They're both obviously not great offensive environments.
But I know Judkins getting the ball.
next game Seattle at Tennessee can't wait for this one Jamie starter set Ken Walker
this should be a good game for Walker if Mike McDonald sticks to what he says you know so
he said on Monday that they're going to give him more opportunities I know the Titans run
defense with Jeffrey Simmons is much different than without but given what Walker started
to show us certainly last week and I know some of it was circumstantial when he was on the
field how he scored his touchdown getting more involved in the passing game but it was his
first touchdown since week three it was the
most receiving yards that he had in the game
this season. It tied his season high in targets
and receptions. So give him
two or three catches, give him an opportunity to
work at the goal line, and hopefully he can break a run here.
I just expect the Seahawks
to have the ball the entirety of the game.
This could be a
murderous situation for the Titans.
And so if they give
him more opportunities, I think eventually
he'll crack a big play
or two and have the chance to be successful.
So I would start him personally over Judkins and Genty
this week. I think there's more upside for him.
Okay. That's Ken Walker we're talking about it. By the way, it's not just Jeffrey Simmons. There's three players that were healthy last week for the Titans. It was, and they're all edge rushers or defensive linemen. Tavandre Sweat, Jeffrey Simmons, and Arden Key. They all played last week and it made a big difference for them. But if you take Jeffrey Simmons away, he's the biggest difference. Absolutely. But they're all important players for them.
Jets are at Baltimore. Brees Hall or Zay Flowers? Who you starting?
It's Brees Hall for me, but they are very, very close, and you're probably not making this decision because you have to start Zayflowers at wide receiver because there's no good wide receivers this week.
So I can't imagine I have Zayflowers to flex.
That'd be awesome.
But, yeah, it's Breece Hall slightly.
You brought up five running backs already, or I've asked about five running backs already.
I'll throw David Montgomery in there, too, just because of what his season has been.
But you got Montgomery, Camara, Walker, Genty.
Hall and Judkins like all of these guys have so many question marks or have been struggling
of late some in the case of Walker and Camara have good matchups but like yeah what was the
question you asked a few weeks ago confident start maybe start like reluctant start reluctant start
like that's where these guys are right now like Hall Judkins and Gentie for me are all such
reluctant starts yeah are they reluctant have them all in various leagues and not thrilled about
closer to sits.
They would be sits if we had better options.
Is running back bad too?
At the tail end of it, yeah.
It's a lot better than wide receiver, in my opinion.
But it's just like everything's kind of bad.
Yeah.
All right.
Well, I wonder if that's because we're coming off
such a bad fantasy week, you know, where.
Well, I think it's because, like, I looked at it,
I haven't looked at the running back position,
but you look at ADP from the beginning of the year,
15 of the top 36 wide receivers
are not playing this week.
And we've got
a dozen running back committees
or more.
So yeah, it's just
the game has been a little
different this year than past years.
True. We also don't have the dolphins
and commanders defenses to pick on this week.
But we do have bet
MGM and we do have this really
cool first touchdown scorer
feature here because if you bet on your favorite
player to score the first touchdown in the game, but his teammate scores instead, well, that's
kind of a bummer. But if this happens, BetMGM wants to give you another chance at the end zone.
With BetMGM's second chance promotion, you'll get your stake back if your first touchdown
score is second instead. So bet on any pro football player to score the first touchdown of the
game. And if you're right, you win. And if your player scores second, you get your stake back
in cash. With BetMGM's second chance offer, you have a chance to keep the fun going after the
first player crosses the goal line.
So try a first touchdown scorer wager with confidence today.
Bet MGM, make it legendary.
All right.
Indianapolis at Kansas City, here's a trend to watch.
The Chief's defense has been really good, but they've allowed 10 big plays in the
passing game in their last two games.
That's 20 or more yards.
That's among the most in the NFL per game in that span.
So maybe that says something for Alec Pierce because he's a big play machine.
And the stat of the game I had was that the Colts have allowed 16.9 or more PPR fantasy points to a running back in three straight games, but I don't think that's going to happen now.
I have a stat of the game for you.
Let's do it. Let's do it.
And I actually am going to actually quote the person who put it on Twitter as opposed to just saying some random person put it on Twitter.
Curtis Siebel from Sports Radio 810.
The Chiefs are the 15th team since 1990 to be 500 or worse this late in the season and be favored against a team with a winning percentage over 800.
The previous 14 teams are 14 and out.
I mean, the Colts, oh, that's funny.
Wow.
And 12-0 and 2 against the spread.
When the Colts beat the Broncos in week two, I think, it was pretty eye-opening.
They've had the, well, did they beat, they won at the Chargers, right?
They've had some good wins, but this is going to be a tough game for them.
So let's do the Colts, here we go.
Daniel Jones is a sit for you guys.
he's 15th, 16th, any...
Caleb Williams or Daniel Jones.
Caleb?
Do you know what quarterbacks have done
in the five games in Kansas City?
No.
And it's a pretty good list.
So you have Jalen Hertz,
Lamar Jackson left in the game,
but obviously we're not playing well before then.
Jared Goff is the only one to go over 20 fantasy points,
ironically enough, outdoors.
Mariotta had a 13-point game.
Who am I missing?
Well, Justin Herbert was not in Kansas City, right?
I think that was a Chief's home game, but that was in Brazil.
No, anyway, five quarterbacks, they have not done well in Kansas City.
So, as Heath said, it's basically been one good road game for Daniel Jones so far this season,
and it was the game in Los Angeles, one of the two.
And so outdoors, this has just not been where he's thrived so far this season.
He's 17.5 points or less in every outdoor game, if you factor in the one in Germany.
So this is just not the best scenario for him.
Start Jonathan Taylor.
Yes.
Start Tyler Warren.
Yep.
All right, let's get a little bit deeper.
Heath, I asked you, you know, for the brief, what do you feel about the wide receivers?
You know, what are you, talk to me about the Colts wide receivers here.
You've got Alec Pierce who's having, I don't want to say historic, but an unusual season.
For someone with his A-DOT to get this many targets, he's got, he's one of the leaders in Air Yards in the
NFL. You know, it's really exciting if you can keep getting targets, but there are a lot of games with like five targets in there. So how are we feeling? I was going to say, like, he has had a lot of targets lately for sure. He had 13 against the Steelers. He had 10 against the Chargers. He has one other game this season with more than five targets. So that's why he's boom bust. That's why the bust potential exists is he could have four or five targets in this game. He remarkably led the NFL
in he averaged more yards per reception last year than this year 22 yards per catch last
year 20.9 this year may lead the league in yards per catch two years in a row but still with
that profile he catches 53% of his targets because every throw is 20 yards downfield and if you
have five targets in the game it might be a two or three catch game so there's the upside that
he could score 10 points on most just about any given play but there's the downside that he could
score five points in the game and i think just to the overall theme of you know we'll probably talk
about this with this late tomorrow too like with the receivers being as bad as they are like for me
i'm going to take a chance on this player more so than a jacksonville receiver for example because
the targets may be the same that's not like jacobie meyers for example is getting uh an
an exceptional amount of volume right now.
And Parker Washington, same thing.
You know, Jared, Trevor Lawrence has been under 30 past
empty to the last two weeks.
So, like, I'll take a chance on this type of player
where I think we're going to see the Colts have to throw
a little bit more than normal.
And so what he's done, 20 targets is last two weeks,
I think they've tried to unleash him.
And I think that they will continue to try to unleash him,
whether it's successful or not, that remains to be seen,
tough matchup.
But I like the setup here for Pierce more so than most.
would you start him over the kind of safe
Khalil Shakir Wondale Robinson's of the world
I think I have him ahead of both those guys
Robinson's the one that will probably be swayed by Dary Slayton
not that we're ranking Slayton but I think if Slayton's ruled out
as much as Isaiah Hodgins was basically Slayton
I'll probably bump Wondell up a couple spots
but Shakir against the Texans I'd rather start Pierce against the chiefs
Heath same question to you
I'll start Robinson and Shakir over Alec Pierce
and then Josh Downs that he'd
your top 36 this week?
Yes.
He did not.
Okay.
He's won that game really in his last five.
And so, again, this is like a charger situation.
Somebody's going to get left out.
Somebody's going to have a decent game.
You know, you kind of just based it on, I think, either recency bias or, you know,
who's got the most upside.
I don't know how you want to view it.
Clearly, matchups are going to come into play as well.
Pittman's been the most consistent.
Pierce is the one that's hot lately.
Downs has just kind of quietly been in that.
He's basically been a Shakur, you know.
11 to 12 VPR points on a bad week prior to the last game where we only had a minimum amount of targets.
Like, I think somebody is going to have some, there'll be two guys that have decent production in this game.
I think the key for Downs has just been, does he score a touchdown?
Like he didn't have a touchdown in the first five games that he played this season.
He had three in a row, and so he had good fantasy production.
He doesn't have a game with 60 yards this year.
Okay, next step we got Mahomes.
Bounce back for Mahomes?
Yeah, it could be.
He's been great at home.
Absolutely fantastic at home.
Drake May or Mahomes?
May.
Jared, go off for Mahomes.
Golf for me, but that's close.
I have Mahomes one spot higher.
All right.
Star Patrick Mahomes.
Before his last two games at Buffalo and at Denver,
he had scored 28.7 or more fantasy points in five straight games.
So the Chiefs running backs, are they avoids now, assuming Pacheco plays?
Yes.
I still think Hunts a flex.
You know, you are talking about touchdown potential.
How much will they give Pacheco in his first game back?
It's not as much optimism, clearly, because Pacheco is going to be healthy.
But it's not like Pacheco was the dominant running back in his back.
Rishie Rice, bounce back, easy start?
Yep.
Yep.
Okay.
And remember that, so this secondary for the Colts,
kind of looks pretty good.
They've got Kenny Moore back.
He missed some time.
He's their slot guy.
Obviously, have Soss Gardner now.
And they just opened the practice window for Charverius.
Ward who's had a concussion.
So Colt's defense used to be kind of a, I think, a fantasy layup, but I don't know that
it is anymore, but obviously you're starting Rishi Rice.
But in this horrible wide receiver week, what about Xavier Worthy, Heath?
I really don't want to start him.
The nice thing is he's getting the downfield opportunities.
The bad thing is he and Patrick Mahomes for the second straight year can't get on the same page
on those opportunities.
Sometimes it's Mahomes makes a bad throw.
It's Worthy makes a bad play on the ball.
He is a top 36 wide receiver, but he's closer to the bottom of the wide receiver
three range than the top of the wide receiver three range.
I think Jamie or Dave for today's show put Jordan Addison as a sit, and I agree with
that, but I would start Jordan Addison over Xavier Worthy.
Would you start, oh, let's see, Josh Downs or Xavier Worthy?
Worthy for me.
Jamie?
Downs for me.
Okay.
And who's the best tight end in this game?
I would go Warren, but it wouldn't surprise me if Kelsey's better.
They're basically back to back.
They are back to back for me, and I've got Kelsey one spot higher.
Another fun stat of the game, Kelsey is on pace for the fourth highest receiving yardage total for a player, not a tight end, a player 36 or older.
Wow.
Listen, stat of the game is kind of my thing, Heath.
Well, I mean, you should have some better ones.
The top three in that number?
40-year-old Jerry Rice, 39-year-old Jerry Rice, 36-year-old Jerry Rice.
I was going to say, Rice has to be up there.
I didn't realize all three.
Rice has all the top three seasons.
That's awesome.
That's a great stat of the game.
One of your best.
Questions from the chat?
Chiefs DST or the Raiders against the Browns?
I would go Chiefs just because Daniel Jones sacked ten times in his last two games
and a lot of turnovers in that span, too.
Like, there's a big opportunity here for the Chiefs D.S.
They're both top 12, but I would go Chiefs.
So I've got, for Daniel Jones in his last two games,
12 sacks, four interceptions,
six fumbles, three of them lost.
Josh Downs or Chimari, D.K. or Trey Tucker?
I'll go down.
I've got it. Tucker Downs, D.K.
And D.K. is in the concussion protocol, right?
No, he's pretty.
He practiced. I think he had a chest injury, right?
Chest injury.
I think so.
All right, that's it for the Chiefs and the Colts.
The Chiefs DST just in general is about, what are they?
Ninth, ninth and eighth for you guys, a little bit lower for Dave, unless they might not be updated.
But they're start worthy.
Pittsburgh is at Chicago.
Stad of the game.
Heath, what do you got?
You know, I'll see what yours is like and see if I need to add another one.
Well, it's just a weird one.
I don't really get it.
but the Steelers see the most pass attempts in the NFL.
Nine straight quarterbacks have thrown 33 or more passes against the Steelers.
Four of them through 46 or more passes.
And Romo Dunezze has a 21% target share or better in almost every game.
So if we can get 33 or more pass attempts from Caleb Williams,
then that should make you feel better about their passing game.
It's kind of a battle of two trends because the bears have gone a lot more run heavy
since they're by, which has been part of the problem for Rome-A-Dunze.
So whether or not Swift and Monongai have success may determine whether or not O'Donzee's good.
All right.
So if we talk, we're kind of reluctant to start Caleb Williams.
He's about 12th in the rankings.
So you'd start Jacoby Preset over him.
Let's see.
Would you start, you wouldn't start a Steelers quarterback over Caleb, will you?
No.
No, no.
Would you start Sam Darnel, that Tennessee?
I would.
I would not.
And then how do we feel about the Andre Swift this week, Keith?
He is an RB2, right in the definitely ahead of that range, I think, of the RB2s you don't want to start.
He is an okay RB2 as opposed to a reluctant RB2.
Jamie, who's the best running back in this game?
Steelers starter, if it's only gain well, for sure.
Probably Steelers starter anyway if Jalen Warren is healthy.
if Jalen Warren is going to be playing on a limited capacity
and we have this oh no tandem potential crap
then I would probably lean towards Swift
but he's also in a tandem potential crap
so I probably just go if you tell me right now
Warren's playing I'll probably go Warren Swift
gain well Monongai in PPR
Warren Swift game on
and then someone's asks
are we assuming that Aaron Rogers is out
So he said he's going to try and practice today.
I'm going to go under the assumption he's not playing
because if they still consider themselves a playoff team,
why would you risk it one week after him playing with a broken wrist?
Let me heal for a little bit.
But listen, he's going to try and play.
It's his non-throwing hand.
So at this point, there's very much uncertainty.
We'll have a better idea after practice today.
So if he doesn't practice today, then I would probably think no.
But he spoke to the media yesterday and said that he's going to try and go out.
I would not change a Steelers pass catcher projection based on this.
Okay.
And is there any interest in starting Rogers or Rudolph?
The Bears give up the sixth most fantasy points to quarterbacks.
So I think if you're just looking at it, like,
do you want a less than 100% Aaron Rogers?
So if he takes a shot to his wrist and the pain is too much,
he's going to leave the game.
I would feel more comfortable at this point with Mason Rudolph.
And look, last year, 18 or more fantasy points and four of his eight appearances for the Titans,
he's not horrible in these spots, especially when the matchup is favorable.
And really, to me, it's more about D.K. Metcalfe because we saw last year when Rudolph was playing,
he was better for Calvin Ridley.
We saw it two years ago for Pickens, right?
I think it was two years ago.
Yeah.
For George Pickens in Pittsburgh.
Like, I think it actually might benefit D.K. Metcalfe that Rudolph might push the ball down the field with a little bit more.
success.
So Metcalf, I assume, would be the second best wide receiver in this game?
For me, yes.
Metcalf versus the Colts wide receivers.
How would you rank them?
I have him behind both Pittman and Pierce.
I'd go Pittman and Metcalfe Pierce.
To me, Metcalf and Pierce are almost very similar at this point.
Well, they're completely different players right now, though.
Right, but I think with Rudolph, it changes a little bit.
Yeah, I mean, they're similar in terms of there's a lot of risk and some potential, too.
You know, look, he's still the number one option on the team.
The Bears are 24th against wide receivers.
Yeah, so it's ordinarily the Bears would be a passing defense that we'd be excited to start players against.
We can't start a Pittsburgh tight end, right?
They're getting Kyler Gordon back too, potentially.
That's true.
I think he's their slot receiver, their slot corner.
But still, it helps second there.
So we can't start
Pittsburgh tight end?
I don't know how you can
after they flopped against the Bengals.
Well, Washington didn't.
One of them will be good.
You have no idea which one.
I love Darna Washington.
He's becoming my favorite player.
He's 311 pounds.
You saw the interview.
Yeah, right?
Was that cool?
I'm on Ross St. Brown.
They're like, how much do you weigh?
This is 270s.
He's like, I'm 311.
I'm going to keep it a buck.
I'm 311.
And he's just running people over.
It's amazing.
but too unreliable.
All right.
So the Bears, DeAndre Swift, we already talked about him.
We already talked about Romo Dunzee.
He's a guy you have to start this week.
Romo Dunzee or Michael Pittman?
Pitman.
I'd go Pitman.
Romo Dunzee or Ashton Genty and Breece Hall and Quinchon Judkins?
I would go to Dunzee, PPR.
I would go all of them over at Nitzie.
Oh.
You're just not, you're just nervous.
He's because he's too bad.
Yeah, I mean, I guess if we're going to, he's kind of doing the Kamane of Idael thing.
So last week was a bad week.
So this is supposed to be a good week for him.
But it's just that the floor is extremely low for him right now.
It really is.
Really is.
6.1 or fewer fantasy points in four of his last six games.
Holy cow.
Okay.
And DJ Moore, we're not going to start.
Luther Burdens a stash.
Colston Loveland, Jamie, start or sit?
There's just too many better tight ends.
and with Cole Commit there, it's too risky.
Which DSTD you like better?
Steelers.
Heath?
Yeah, I, um,
the Steelers.
No, if you want to start the Steelers,
because their defense is playing well,
the Bears are a bad matchup.
They don't turn the ball over and they don't take sacks.
They could always take sacks if Caleb Williams stops.
I think he's like coated in rubber.
You cannot tackle this guy.
People just bounce off of him.
But they're giving up the third fewest fantasy points at DST.
and Chicago's DST has actually been all right this season.
These low-end DSTs, I think, here.
Low-end start, yeah.
You can make a case for either one.
I mean, clearly, look, if it's a banged-up Rogers,
he's going to be, I'm sure, tentative.
It's Mason Rudolph.
There's always potential for him to, you know, be turnover-prone.
So you can make a strong case for the Bears, too.
Jacksonville's at Arizona, when we come back,
I'll give you a great stat on Trey McBride.
Won't be as good as Heath's stat on Trey McBride,
but I'll try.
We'll be right back.
In five games with Jacoby Reset,
Trey McBride is averaging 24.5 PPR fantasy points per game.
That's almost as much as Jacoby Preset is averaging in six point per pass in touchdown leagues.
And in that stretch, that would be good enough to tie him as wide receiver won with Drake London.
Trey McBride is on pace for 20 touchdowns in five games with Jacoby Preset.
Starters at Trey McBride.
Okay, we'll start Trey McBride.
All right, this game here, let's get into the, Trevor Lawrence is a sit.
Let's get into the Jacksonville running back seat.
What do you expect is you, the rankings here are very deep.
different when you look at E.T.N. versus Tudin for Jamie compared to Heath.
Yeah, assuming Tudin is playing, I expect pretty close to a 50-50 or hot-hand approach in
Jacksonville. In the first half of their game last week, both E.T.N. and Tuton had a 46%
snap share. Tudin actually had a higher rush share than ATN and scored the first touchdown in the
game and was running much better. E.T.N mostly made his hay after Tewton went out.
And so it'll be ETN over Tutin for me, but they are at the low-end RB2 range.
Neither one a true must-start.
And Jamie, you're a little bit different there.
There's a bit, there's more of a spread between ETN and Tootin for you.
I'm just looking at it from the standpoint of, you know, last week, Tutin popped and did a great job.
Heard his ankle.
How much work will they give him coming off the ankle?
ETN's still been consistently the more productive guy, the more used guy, and I think in a spot
like this where both will be somewhat involved, I'm going to give ETN a little bit more
of the benefit out.
So to me, TN's a very solid number to running back.
Yeah, it's a big ranking discrepancy here.
Jamie and Dave have ETN in the top 12, and Heath has ETN 26th and Tutin 27.
I think he's up 23rd now.
23rd?
Okay.
And the thing is, it's a really.
good matchup. The Cardinals are struggling
against the run. A running back has scored
at least 12.4, which isn't great,
but it's not a bad floor. 12.4
or more PPR fantasy points against Arizona
in all but one game, and they're giving up
four and a half yards per carrier. I do find this interesting
and, you know,
our projections are
I think very good, especially
comparatively to the industry.
If Thomas can find this, our
sports line projections
have Bachel Tutin
in tandem with Travis E. TN.
projected for more points than Emmanuel Wilson
without Josh Jacobs being projected for anything.
So basically more points for the Jaguars running backs than the Packers?
More points for the backup Jaguars running back
than the starting running back for the Packers right now.
Oh, I'm sorry.
I thought you said in tandem.
I thought you meant combined.
You're saying, oh, that is so interesting.
Jacksonville running back.
I'll make it more simple.
We have Tutin projected for more points than Emmanuel Wilson,
and that's not including Jacobs getting any numbers.
Wow.
There's no way you guys would start tootin over.
I would not, but sports line is very excited about basal tootin and this role.
And still excited about ETN, but not excited about Emmanuel Wilson, which makes some sense.
I mean, look, the Packers offense right now is not exactly great.
And they're facing a pretty solid run defense.
Minnesota.
Okay.
Jacksonville wide receivers, Jamie, break this down.
I think you got to give Jacoby Myers the benefit of the doubt as number three receiver based on what we saw last week, six targets, five,
patches, but we are still talking about a receiver that was single digits in PPR for every
week since week two prior to last week. So, you know, put whatever, you know, intangible you want
in there just because of, you know, frustration with the Raiders, injuries, a new team,
still getting comfortable, all those things. Parker, Washington, I think, took a little
step back week as Myers took a step forward. Breton Strange could play this week. I think we'll
find out hopefully by Friday for sure, but maybe today. Sounds like. Sounds like.
Brian Thomas Jr. may still be out one more week,
but that's something to keep an eye on at this point.
We just haven't seen a lot of pass attempts for Trevor Lawrence last to games.
And so if they're chasing points, which they could be,
then we see a little bit more volume.
It benefits both guys.
But I'm going to treat Jacoby Myers and Parker Washington in that order
as number three receivers, just hoping that Myers can still be
in that sort of 11 point range.
Just one thing to point out, right?
Six targets for Myers last week.
They only threw 22 passes.
He ran 84% of the routes, 83% of the routes.
So, I don't know, maybe he's somewhat reliable, wide receiver two, three.
And, yeah, I mean, Jamie just broke it down.
I don't have to repeat it.
And obviously, we'll keep you updated tomorrow on Brian Thomas Jr.
This is why you've got to listen to the mailbag episode.
This is why you have to join us on Sunday because things do change quite a bit between now and then as we get more injury information.
Heath, you said Brenton Strange would be a low-end starter.
Arizona is so bad against tight ends.
So would you start?
If you knew, if I told you today,
Brenton Strange's play,
would you start Dalton Schultz
against the bills or Brenton Strange?
You'd be really
real close.
I'd probably just stick with Schultz
for one more week
and Strange's first game back.
All right.
Would you start Harold Fanon Jr.
or Brenton Strange?
Probably be
Fanon.
Dallas Goddard or Strange?
Goddard.
All right.
You see where Strange,
what mix he's in.
Jamie, who are some players
Yeah, it is, right?
Who are some players
you would start
Jacobi Brissette over?
I would start him over
Daniel Jones.
I'd start him over
Caleb Williams.
I'd start him over
Sam Donald.
I'd start him over
Joe Flacko.
I'd start him over.
I don't know how much more
you would keep going.
You think he's going to get
to his 24-ish points?
It's hard to bet against it.
I mean, you know,
clearly the Chargers
vomited all over themselves
or I just jinks them, but it was a bad day for Justin Herbert,
and every other quarterback prior to that had just dominated this defense.
So with the way Berset is playing,
there's a very, very murky situation with this backfield right now
because you got both DiMercado and Bamnight dealing with ankle injuries,
and DeMercado's already been ruled out.
And Trey Benson now activated off IR of the practice window at least,
so maybe he returns, and that just makes them into a better rushing team,
or they just continue to, you know, struggle and have to,
throw the ball. I just think the body of work right now for Jacoby Brissette warrants him being trusted
as a starter. So I'll just tell you for myself, like I have two Caleb Williams teams and I picked up
Jacoby Brissette and I'm starting Brissette over him, over him just based on, over Williams,
excuse me, just based on the upside. Yeah. Well, that really pisses me off because I also have
Caleb Williams and I was dying to pick up Jacoby Brissette, but I don't know if I can't do this
right now. Remind me if we have time at the end of the show, which we won't, to go on this
little fantasy aside just do it now all right do you find that your quarterback waiver wire is
better your quarterback waiver wire depth is better in your expert or analyst or podcast leagues than it is
in your casual friends leagues i've even found this year though that the quarterback waiver wire
has just been worse almost everywhere than it usually is but yes yeah man in my home leagues i can't
get a quarterback for the life of me on the waiver wire.
And the DBS leagues, the expert leagues, whatever, they're everywhere.
It's why you're the draft league the most is our IDP league.
There's just like so many good ones available.
Yeah, I know.
It's crazy.
All right.
So Arizona is, this is a tough game, I think.
This is one of the tougher games to preview.
And it's because of the uncertainty.
The fact, not only is there uncertainty in the Arizona backfield, but they also have a
terrible matchup against a really good run defense.
And then you've got Michael Wilson, who I'm really hoping is not.
An ex-Parker Washington or something like that, but we don't think he is.
We're just keeping it simple.
He's a start, start him.
But Heath, what are your thoughts right now on the Cardinals backfield, which again,
tune in Friday, Saturday, Sunday as we keep you updated on this backfield?
Yeah, we are not expecting Di Mercado to play right now.
We are currently ranking Knight.
Knight would be a flex, top 30 running back, but not a top 24 running back.
Michael Carter, a low-end flex.
it probably plays more of that Demercado role.
If Trey Benson gets a full practice in today
and we start feeling good about him,
then he'll be ranked higher than Zonovan Knight currently is,
but probably still not a top 24 guy,
just a very high influx.
So Tuton or Knight?
Tudan.
Jamie?
Night for me.
Genty and Judkins or Bam Knight?
Genty and Judkins.
Yep.
This is assuming Demarcato is out.
Assuming Benson is also out.
Would you start?
demarcato or Jacoby Myers
I'm sorry, Bam Knight or
Jacobi Myers?
I would start Myers and PPR.
Let me check.
I think I've got Knight
just a little bit higher.
Yeah, I mean, it's interesting.
Like, Knight's just,
he had four catches last week.
Obviously, they threw 57 times.
He hasn't been running that well lately.
Jimmy, give me 30 seconds on your expectations
for Bam Knight.
As I said before,
or a lot this week, every game since James Connor has been hurt.
So factoring in week five on, at least one running back for the Cardinals has been 9.4
PPR points or more.
It's been a lot of shared touches.
Michael Carter, Knight, DiMercado, DeMercado, and Knight, Knight, and Carter, you know, just different guys finding a way to be somewhat productive.
So it would kind of be fascinating if it's Knight and Carter, just based on how they've kind of viewed Carter recently.
I think if Benson starts and they're comfortable enough to use him in somewhat of a featured role,
that would be exciting to me.
And I would consider him at least a flex.
I think you've got to treat them all as just kind of flex plays because there's still going to be some sort of sharing going on.
Jacksonville's run defense has been amazing for the majority of the season.
And so it's not going to be easy regardless of it.
But I would like to see personally, especially if you don't have to use Trey Benson, let him play, get this to shake the rust off game.
and then maybe we have a potential league winner from week 13 on.
Okay.
And the Cardinals DST is not in the top 12, but you could use them.
They've been, not to, I'm sorry, the Jaguars, the Jaguars DST.
You could use them.
They have been solid this year, up and down, like both DSTs, but they also have Tennessee
next week.
So it's a reason to go ahead and add.
The rest of season schedule, there's is one of the more favorable ones.
And Tampa Bay is one of the more favorable ones.
So like if you're looking to stash dsts, these are two.
the good ones. I think the Jaguars you can use this week. And I think, I don't think, I know, as good as
Jacobi Berset has been, he's taken some sacks and he's definitely had turnovers, four turnovers in the last
two games. All right, real quick, I'm going to do some questions here. Wilson, Michael Wilson
or Jacoby Myers? Wilson. Wilson. Lawrence, Flacco, Caleb, Darnold.
One or two? I don't know. It says Superflex, but. I would go Flacco, Darnold, Williams, Lawrence.
Flacco Caleb Darnold Lawrence
No, Flacco Caleb Lawrence Darnold
Michael Wilson or Quinn Sean Judkins
Wilson Wilson
Jacoby Brissette or Baker Mayfield
Brissette
Brissette
Bam Knight or Darius Slaten if he plays
Bam
Oh that's a good one half PPR
I probably go bam
And Brissette or Purdy
I go back and forth on these two
So much
Right now I have Brissette
One spot higher
But, sorry.
Pretty for me.
Brissette or golf?
Golf.
All right, New England's at Cincinnati.
We've talked a lot about the running backs here.
Let's go through New England really quickly here.
Drake May is a top two quarterback, start him.
Stefan Diggs is an easy start, right?
So he revealed yesterday that he's been playing with a broken finger,
and obviously has not impacted his production.
He's got a touchdown or a hundred yards receiving in four straight games.
Like, given the matchup, I think it's just an easy start.
Any other Patriots-wide receivers, Heath, that you'd be interested in?
Um, I think if I had two, Kishon Booty would be my second favorite, but he's, he's more of a touchdown dependent flex. You hope he catches one long pass.
Would you start Booty or Josh Downs?
Booty for me.
Same.
Okay. Booty or Alec Pierce.
Pierce.
Okay. Yeah, the Bengals are actually pretty good at eliminating the deep ball, but the Patriots are so good at completing the deep ball.
it's an interesting battle here.
Has Mike Grable said this week
on to Cincinnati? Because I really hope he has.
I don't know.
Does he say that? Does he do that?
That's like the famous Belichick quote.
I know that.
Mike Brable doesn't seem like to me like the kind of guy
that's trying to be cute.
Yeah.
Actually, his press conferences are great.
He gives, I forget, I pronounced her last name from the Boston.
But Karen starts with the G.
He gives her the first question every week.
He'd been, I think, in jury duty this week,
so he started every press conference with somebody else
that's kind of a gag.
If you go back to the one question for each game,
if you want to hear about Trevionn Henderson or Ramandre Stevenson,
Jamie isn't too affected by Remandre playing, if he does play,
in terms of his rankings of Trayvion Henderson.
Heath is.
So just go back and listen to that.
Hunter Henry against this incredible matchup.
Bengals give up the most fantasy points to tight ends.
Hunter Henry or Brenton Strange if he plays?
Henry.
Yeah, I'll probably go Henry.
Hunter Henry or Brock Wright against Giants?
Henry's a top 12 tight end.
Brock Wright might not be my top 24.
Brock Wright isn't my top 24, but it would be Henry.
Brock Wright sneakily had seven targets last week, I think.
Seven or eight?
He did.
He just didn't do anything with him.
Hunter Henry or Kyle Pitts.
Pitts.
Okay.
Moving on to the Bengals.
How much confidence do you have in Joe Flats?
if he starts without Jamar Chase Heath?
I've got him at QB 13 right now.
I'd still start him over Baker and Daniel Jones,
but a borderline starter.
Jamie, you pretty much agree.
You guys have him 12th and 13th.
Yeah, I mean, I'd start Baker over him,
but same range.
You guys are pretty different on Chase Brown,
and we got into this a little bit later,
but a little bit earlier in one question for each game,
but let's do it again here.
Jamie, I see, let me just double-check the rankings.
Chase Brown 16th?
14th, 14th, and Heath
7th, and Dave has him 10th.
So look, he's a start, but
I'll actually let Heath make the case here since you have him
seventh. Yeah, I mean,
he's got 22 targets
over his last two games, and
Jamar Chase isn't playing. It's a
bad matchup in terms of
rushing efficiency, but
he is back to playing 80 plus
percent of the snaps,
just the clear dominant
wide RB1 in this offense.
and he's being targeted at a very high rate
because Joe Flacko doesn't want to take sex.
And so I think you see he may lead all running backs and catches this week.
And to that point, like the Patriots, I think prior to maybe the last two games,
like they'd just been miserable against past catching running back.
So it should be a very good game for them.
There's just other guys I like better.
I mean, you're starting to taste bro.
Okay.
T. Higgins, do you feel the same way?
It's just like automatic.
Must start.
Yeah, he's going to get Christian Gonzalez.
but I still think there's just too much opportunities,
too many targets coming his way
for you to avoid T. Higgins this week by any stretch.
So if Diggs and Higgins are easy calls,
who's your favorite,
who's your next best wide receiver in this game?
If Higgins and Diggs are easy calls?
Yeah, like who's wide receiver three in this game?
I would take a chance on Yoshavas
just with the expected target pump.
Yep.
You were unfazed by what I told you yesterday.
yesterday. There's not a lot of him playing without chase. There's only one game, and he did have
eight targets, but that was two years ago.
You're trying, and you're not doing the wrong thing, but you're trying to put him into a box
without Joe Flacco and without Chase. There's just so many moving parts for the Bengals that
have changed in this scenario. So he already has one game with Flacco in the five starts
that he's looked good when he's had a target pump, and I think that'll be the case this week.
Okay, fair enough. Yoshivas or Bejel Tootin,
PPR.
I'll take yes of us.
Oh, okay.
How about Noah Fant?
How does he compare to Hunter Henry Heath?
No, I can't.
That's what Jamie said a couple years ago.
It's Henry.
This one is fascinating because if Keseki plays or not.
So if Keseki's out, then I think Fant is not far from Henry.
If Keseki plays, does he automatically step into that role that he's sort of dominated when one of the guys, one of
guys have been missing.
So the weird thing is...
And it's been Higgins that's been missing.
Noah fan, if you look at his route participation rate, it's not high at all, one game
over 50%.
But with or without Mike Asicki, it hasn't really changed.
And neither have his targets for the most part.
He's usually four targets.
No, they're kind of a Steelers team in terms of their tight ends.
Like, there's been a week where there's been more targets for other guys.
They have like four tight ends that they play.
and none of them
run a full complement of the routes.
You guys trying to get away from the Patriots DST this week?
Yes and no.
I have a couple of leagues where their schedule is just so good to close the season.
You can't really afford to drop.
I like it's for me.
I can't afford to drop them.
But look, we saw the worst of Joe Flacko last week.
And it wouldn't be surprising if that shows up again.
There's no Jamar Chase.
He's playing with his shoulder injury.
You know, this is still a really good defense.
They're going to frustrate him.
He takes hits.
So would you start the Jaguars against the Cardinals or the Patriots at the Bengals?
Still the Patriots, but that's close.
Yeah.
How about the Bears Steelers game?
Patriots DST or one of those DSTs?
I think I had the Steelers higher, but I may need to reevaluate that, but they're all in the similar range.
Steelers are the best.
Patriots have had two terrible games in a row.
Their DST against Atlanta and at Tampa Bay.
They were really good before that, though.
All right, Cleveland's at Las Vegas.
Sorry, you know what?
I think there's some chat questions real quick here.
Let's see.
Sit one in half PPR.
James Cook, Giovante Williams, Trayvion Henderson, or Teterole McMillan.
I was in Henderson.
Jamie was said Javante.
Heath was said Henderson.
But if Ramonre's out, no, you would not sit Henderson.
Right.
Henry or Joanne Johnson?
Johnson.
Pick two of these three.
Brees Hall, Trevion, Henderson.
Devonte Adams.
I'm sitting hall.
Depends on if Henderson plays.
If Stevenson plays, if Stevenson plays, I'm sitting Henderson.
If he doesn't, I'm sitting whole.
Drake May or Lamar Jackson?
May.
Lamar for me, but that's number one and number two.
Oh, okay.
I should probably move Lamar down with this other injury.
Okay.
Cleveland's at Las Vegas.
And I think the next three...
thing now, right?
The next three games, what's that?
Isn't this when you start singing?
Play music.
It's the lame of the week, yeah.
Unless this is this game in some foreign country.
I need to get the translator out.
All right, Cleveland at Las Vegas.
The next three games are honestly pretty easy here.
Who are you excited to start Heath in Cleveland at Las Vegas?
Excited to start?
Yeah.
I mean, I'm excited to start Brock Bowers.
I'm
I'm pretty confidently starting both of the running backs,
Gentie and Judkins.
That's it.
Jamie?
Excited, Bowers, and that's it.
And Brown's D.S.D.
Let's get some Genty Judkins questions from the chat.
If you've got them, I'd love to hear what you're considering there.
Michael Wilson over these guys.
Yep.
And just to go into it, right?
Judkins, he has scored.
in his last five games,
13.8, 3.6,
this would be his last six games.
13.8, 3.6, 26.4, 4.7, 10.5, 5.9 fantasy points.
He's getting no push, no help from the offensive line.
Genty, I think, what did you say earlier, Jamie,
single-digit PPR?
Four games this season, he's been single-ditchin's PPR,
two of his last four.
Two of his last four have been great, though.
And one of them was against Jacksonville,
and they were a great run defense.
And he scored 20 points.
scored 15.3 points against the Broncos.
I can't imagine they're going to be as pass-heavy as they were last week.
That did not work out for them.
So, Heath, you have a lot more faith in Gentie.
You have them 12th.
Yeah, and again, it's just the targets over the last few games.
And the fact that the game script doesn't look like a blowout,
so I don't expect them to go as pass-heavy as they did last week.
I think the Raiders have not been a super pass-heavy team this year,
except for when they are facing an offense, they can't stop.
And they can probably stop the Browns.
You know, someone said I'm surprised that we haven't gotten more Kenneth Gainwell questions.
And I think if Jalen Warren doesn't start, and we're going back to that game,
Kenneth Gainwell is definitely a start.
I mean, you should start it.
That's why I didn't go into it.
I apologize for that.
But comparing that situation, Steelers running backs to the Browns and Raiders running backs.
Jamie, how do you feel about that?
I like the Steelers running back so much better.
So if Warren plays are going to start him over both these guys?
Easily.
Heath?
If Warren plays on a, like, he doesn't practice all week and then gets a limited session.
And on Friday, I'll probably have him between Gentie and Judkins.
But yes, Gainwell's easily over both guys.
Okay.
If Warren's out.
Let me read some questions then.
Judkins or Swift, PPR?
Swift.
Swift.
Gentie or Montgomery, half-P-R?
Montgomery.
Gently.
Wow, Jamie, you really don't want to start Genty.
Judkins or Jalen Warren or Devante Smith?
Warren and Smith over Judkins.
Yeah.
Judkins or Jowon Jennings?
Judkins.
Judkins.
Woody Marks or Ashton Genty?
Marks.
I've got Genty.
I look forward to answering more of your
Gentie and Judkins questions on Saturday.
Trey Tucker or these running backs?
The running backs.
Yeah.
Okay.
Trey Tucker or...
Let's just go back to Josh Downs.
Tucker.
Downs.
Tucker or Xavier Worthy?
Tucker.
Tucker.
Start Bowers.
Both DSTs could be good.
We like the Brown's DST better, but both of them could be worth it.
using this week.
Seattle at Tennessee.
Any Titan that you want to start in this game?
Nope.
No.
Who's the best sleeper Titan?
D.K., now that he's healthy.
I'd probably say Pollard.
Not O'Conquo?
I just think now that you have at least one of the receivers with the splits that we're
seeing at the tight end spot for them, still could be O'Concoe, but...
I'm sorry.
Why isn't Darnold higher?
He's, I think, 14th and 18th for you guys.
He's 13th.
13th.
And that's not too low.
Why would Darnold be higher?
Because Tennessee stinks.
This is the type of game where he's actually done well.
In some senses, yeah, but you do have to maybe worry that they won't throw.
I'm sure that's a concern of yours, Heath.
He's been awful lately.
He's QB19 on the season at 18 fantasy points per game.
and they
I not really have zero confidence
they'll throw 20 passes.
20.
Okay, fair enough.
Jamie, you're a little more optimistic,
just like the match.
I mean, his three bad games,
Houston, Arizona, and the Rams,
they're very good against opposing quarterbacks.
When he's played these layups,
like the Titans,
he's been good.
Good against Jacksonville,
great against Jacksonville,
Washington, great against Tampa Bay, solid against New Orleans.
Yeah, Tennessee, they are 21st against quarterbacks, but it's looking like a pretty,
they've had an easy schedule on their 21st.
All right, Charbonnet and Walker.
So Jamie talked about Walker earlier in one question for each game.
He is about 20th in the rankings.
Zach Charbonnet, how would you compare him to Kyle Menangai?
We'd rather have.
Charbonnet this week.
Sharbon, I use a couple of spots higher.
And just don't forget, Tennessee's had a pretty bad run defense all year.
But last week, it was terrific.
Now, they played the Texans.
Texans can't run the ball.
But they got healthy, as I mentioned.
So I'm not saying this is a tough matchup, but if they do it again against the Seahawks,
it might be a tough matchup going forward.
We'll have to reevaluate.
Start JSN, not starting anyone else, right?
Shaheed, or we don't really want to start Barner.
Honestly, I feel like we can be done with this game.
The one thing with Jehid is that, you know,
Donald missed him on a long throw last week.
I wonder if this is the guy that tried to get going a little bit.
Not that you're getting away from J.S.N.
Because he's awesome.
But like that changes their offense if they can get him more involved.
And Torrey Horton missed practice again.
Okay.
Did I.O. Manor crack your top, I'm sorry.
Did D.K. crack your top 40?
No.
No.
Yeah.
We don't like power against, well, really, anyone.
This brutal run defense.
Tajay Spears gets you about seven to nine fantasy points in PPR every week.
And that's it for this game.
Unless, I mean, this is a bad team against tight ends, though.
So if you were desperate, Seattle allows the third most fantasy points of tight ends.
I assume you like Oconquo better than Helm.
Yes.
All right.
They're indistinguishable to me.
And Seattle's DST is top three.
Start them.
Jets are at the Ravens.
And one of the questions that we've been trying to answer,
is the Ravens run defense good?
Is this a tough matchup?
So since Roquan Smith returned in week eight,
they have allowed 15.1 fantasy points to DeAndre Swift,
16.6 to A. Chan, 15.9 to Aaron Jones.
Then 5.9 to Judkins.
But none of those running backs ran for 59 or more than 59 yards.
I think two of them scored.
A. Chan had six catches.
so what do you think
I think it's a
slightly below average matchup
for running backs
it's definitely in the group
of matchups that don't matter
it's not it's not one where you're giving them a boost
like we were earlier in the season
it's not one where you're crushing projections
like we do with the Seahawks
it's just
don't worry about it either way
okay so what does that mean for Breece Hall
Jamie
he's a number two running back
Again, he's not a confident start.
I don't know how you can be confident in starting him at this point.
Like the offensive environment is so bad.
They have no receiving court right now.
And so, you know, when you're talking about Adonai Mitchell and John Mechie and Tyler Johnson and Alan Lazzar, like, that's the guys we're looking at here.
And Mason Taylor, who's just not ready yet to, you know, lead a receiving core at his position.
Maybe Terad Taylor changes things for this offense.
I don't know.
I've never really felt like Justin Fields was the
the downfall of this team.
He clearly was not playing great,
but, you know, again,
everything around him is just so porous.
So if this game gets lopsided,
we just have not seen the involvement in the passing game
that we were hoping for for Breeze Hall.
So I don't know, like, if that saves him.
If you were going to take a flyer on a wide receiver
from Tennessee or the Jets,
is there any other?
I'd rather go fly a kite.
Greg Dorch.
Dorch.
Okay.
I mean, the one to go get would be Isaiah Hodgens.
If you're talking about taking a flyer of something, it's just available everywhere.
I think it picked them up in two leagues.
Listen, that's great.
Listen, flying a kite, I don't think I really ever did that.
I did that like five years ago.
It's kind of fun.
It's a lot more fun than I thought.
I've done it a few times and hated it.
Oh, man, you did a windier day.
Start Lamar Jackson.
but what's the lowest you could see yourself ranking Lamar Jackson this week, Keith?
You know, I don't have him as a top three-quarterback right now.
He's fifth.
I could see ranking him as low as eighth.
It's just because of the injuries, right?
Well, it's because the injuries and how they've impacted him since he came back.
I don't think he's a top 12 quarterback over the last three weeks.
and his most recent game,
he had four rush attempts for 10 yards.
He has 60 rushing yards in his last three games combined.
And I don't know why if you have a quarterback
that has multiple leg injuries
and you're playing a team like the Jets,
you would have any design runs for Lamar Jackson.
I started the week just thinking like this is the bounce back spot for him,
home game, heavy favorites, Jets think,
and then the fact that he missed practice,
like I have to adjust my rankings for him.
I mean, he could very well,
well have a game like he had against the dolphins he threw what 23 pass attempts and only ran for
14 yards and still had four touchdowns like he could have one of those games but you don't really
want to have to count on that yeah all right the ravens should handle this game and
derrick henry is a must start guy he's top nine and even full ppr for everybody i think he's fifth for
jamie zay flowers is a number two receiver i think you guys have him right around 24
23rd, 24th, and just got to hope he finally scores.
He makes pretty much all of their big plays in the passing game.
Start or sit Mark Andrews, Heath.
I don't want to start him.
I understand why people do because tight end is kind of a touchdown dependent position.
He has five, four touchdowns in his last three games,
but he's like three to five targets the last four weeks.
14 to 34 receiving yards.
Like, it is the most touchdown-dependent player that we might consider starting.
Yeah.
One game this year with more than 30.
He's not top 12 for me, but I understand if somebody's been starting him and they keep
getting touchdowns, they just keep starting him and hope they keep getting touchdowns.
The same thing happened last year.
He's the same version of himself.
Yeah. Hunter Henry or Mark Andrews?
Henry.
Andrews.
We'll see if Isaiah likely doesn't play, maybe that would be a,
a boost for Andrews.
Noah Fant or Mark Andrews?
Andrews.
Andrews.
All right.
Baltimore's DST is top two.
And that is it for fantasy football today.
Tomorrow we have six NFC home games to talk about.
We'll sing the game of the week's song.
We'll have fun.
I'm actually very excited for tonight's game.
Believe it or not.
I want to see how this bill's offense does against this Texan defense.
No, I really am.
I'm pumped.
It's going to be an interesting game.
upset alert
No
The last time
The Bills beat the Texans
David Carr was starting
For the Texans
Own the Bills
All right
Heath
You are the stat of the game
You are the stat man
That was a regular season
Stap but I think didn't the Texans
Like Josh Allen's worst
Playoff game came against the Texans
I don't remember
Where he tried to throw that lateral
In like the fourth quarter
And the Texans beat him
Zero recollection of this.
The chat, the chat remembers.
There you go.
