This is Fantasy Football Today from CBS Sports.
What a play!
Can you believe this?
No, I can't.
It's time to dominate your fantasy league.
Off to the races, and he stays on his feet.
This is gonna go the distance.
Now here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie and Heath.
Happy Thanksgiving everybody and welcome to fantasy football today presented by
BETT MGM the sportsbook born in Vegas it is Wednesday night but for most of you it
is Thursday it is for many of you your favorite day of the Vegas. It is Wednesday night, but for most of you, it is Thursday. It is for many of you, your favorite day of the year.
Thanksgiving is freaking awesome.
Heath and Jamie, white meat or dark meat?
Yes.
Yep.
No, you have to choose one.
Sorry.
We have a limited, we only have two pieces of turkey.
One of you,
I'm going to have the most.
No, Jamie's behind you in line.
You can't take them both.
Sure I can.
Okay. I made the white meat and, You don't get any turkey. Sure you can.
I made the white meat and You don't get any turkey.
Random person made the dark meat.
No, you don't get any turkey.
You're gonna eat the ham.
Oh, yeah.
That's why I'm giving you guys the turkey.
Anyway, welcome to the show.
We have seven games to talk about today.
Most of them are AFC home games.
Leave the Jets game for the guys on Friday
because we'll see, hopefully get a Breeze Hall update,
but he did not practice today. We got Houston at Jacksonville, Indianapolis at New England,
Cleveland at Denver, Los Angeles Chargers at the Falcons, Philadelphia at Baltimore,
San Francisco at Buffalo and Pittsburgh at Cincinnati. Before we get to that, all right,
Jamie, let's go. Who is our star of the week? Who's a player we love?
Baker, Baker, the touchdown maker. Great matchup against the Panthers. He's coming off a very
unlucky game last week as we saw against the Giants. I think he could have easily continued
his stretch of 20 plus point games, but he fell a little short, did have a rushing touchdown,
but I think we'll get into the end zone multiple ways against the Panthers who couldn't stop the
struggling, the frustrating,
the disappointing Patrick Mahomes who was awesome against them as well.
But quarterbacks have just been terrible.
Excuse me, the Panthers have been terrible against opposing quarterbacks all season and
Baker's got top five upside.
So the first thing I did was I made sure that he was a high priority and highly ranked in
Heath's rankings because that's a good formula for success.
And he was. And so I happily joined in and made Baker the start of the week.
I would have lost a lot of money on the start of the week this week. I really like I, I
had a high degree of certainty that I thought I knew who it was. It was Baker's teammate,
Bucky Irving. I 100% agree with Baker Mayfield. It was going to be Bucky Irving,
but I just keep running into the same dilemma of
there are not a lot of running backs
that fall into the start percentage that I can use.
So he's one of them.
And if I don't use him in the main part of the column,
I don't have enough running backs to write about.
Okay.
All right, Heath, who's your start of the week?
Sorry, it's a player you love.
Yeah, I don't have a start of the week.
I would just wanna remind people
because he was on a buy last week
and like we need to start Taysom Hill.
His head coach is at the press conference talking about,
yeah, you know the way we've used Taysom Hill lately
is kind of the way we've used Taysom Hill lately is kind of the way we want to use Taysom Hill.
He had a 34% target share in their last game and a 24% rush share.
And it's not just the 40 point game.
He scored 23 points in the two games before that.
He was averaging 11 fantasy points in his last two before the 40 point game.
And I really kind of think like just from a
other interesting things angle. This is a tough spot for the
Rams on the road after playing a really, really physical
Philadelphia team going to New Orleans all the way over on the
East Coast. And sorry, in the Gulf Coast.
and sorry, in the Gulf Coast. He's not even here.
And playing a Saints team that's coming off of a bye.
I think the Saints might have some success
really running the football against the Rams
with Taysom spearheading it.
More likely to score a touchdown against the Rams,
Alvin Kamara or Taysom Hill?
Yes, just like the white meat dark.
White meat dark, okay, awesome.
Yes to both. All right, so we'll get some players to avoid in a moment, but I just once again,
want to remind everybody to A, have a happy Thanksgiving and B to check us out on Sunday
morning, 10 a.m. Eastern CBS Sports HQ, 1130 a.m. Eastern right here, youtube.com slash fantasy
football today, live Q&A. If you never joined it before, it's a lot of fun. We answer a ton of questions. 1130 AM Eastern YouTube.com slash fantasy football today. All right. Player to avoid Jamie,
who are we sitting? Pick a position. Running back. Running back to avoid this week would be
Deandre Sweat. No, we can't do Thursday. Running back to avoid this week would be,
No, we can't do Thursday get running back to avoid this week would be
Let me get to my list here
Guys, I don't like let's go with Ryan Robinson jr. Who's gonna play okay? Oh, okay, I like to set up for him against Titans. They've been very good against opposing running backs
I do hope that he's gonna be involved in the passing game
We did see that in week four when Austin Eckler was not there
But you have a running back that's dealing with some sort of ankle injury. I like the fact that he practiced on Wednesday. However, they have their bye next week. I
wonder if they'll be a little bit cautious with him. They did add Chris Rodriguez. They
have Jeremy McNichols. They may not have to give him the usual allotment of touches that
he gets. They need to win the game clearly, but it's also a very tough matchup as Tennessee
has shown us. JK Dobbins, Aaron Jones, Joe Mixon, three of the best running backs in
fantasy this year.
And the last three games they've been held to nine and a half PPR
points or less against this defense.
So you have a banged up running back, tough matchup.
I would try to sit by Robinson, even though he's healthy.
Okay.
Heath, how about you?
Who are you avoiding?
Well, first of all, I'd like to avoid iguanas, just update on the iguana story.
We got two of them were you mainly disposed of thought we had resolved the issue. And
then today there's another iguana. So a third iguana.
Oh my gosh.
It's really a bad situation. I'm not happy about it. Lots of stress, but I'm avoiding
Devo Samuel and it's kind of a theme that I just want to like it's this week and I don't
know about you guys, but I've got some
really important matchups this week with playoff spots on the line and these situations where we
don't necessarily know if somebody's going to play on Sunday or in Devo's situation we don't
necessarily know if his quarterback's going to play on Sunday and you've got to make decisions
on Thursday and on Friday and Devo's is even worse because it's a Sunday night game.
Um, I wouldn't view with like all nobody on a buy.
I wouldn't view Devo as a must start, even if Purdy was playing, but with
the risk that maybe he's not that team's total opened at 19.75 and it's gone down
to 19, so I'm kind of thinking Purdy's not, I would like to get away from Debo Samuel,
not a top 40 wide receiver for me. Yeah, Brock Purdy was listed as limited in practice on
Wednesday, he apparently threw one pass. So I'm not feeling great about. Yeah, as we as we sit
here right now, I'm not feeling great about that. Do you feel the same way about Joann Jennings? And
the other thing that we talked about on Wednesday morning is the weather in this game
could be, you know, kind of like the Thursday night
Steelers Browns game.
Do you, how do you feel about Jawan Jennings
who had five catches for 40 yards on seven targets last week?
About five spots ahead of Debo.
So he is a top 40 wide receiver, but not a top 30 guy
and not only I think he's a top 36 guy.
All right, players we love.
Jamie said Baker Mayfield against Carolina.
Heath said Taysom Hill against the Rams.
Players to avoid, Brian Robinson against Tennessee
for Jamie and Debo Samuel at Buffalo
on Sunday night for Heath.
We'd like to take this time to sincerely say thank you
to everyone in our audience,
everyone that's part of our show here at CBS, whatever.
Thank you so much.
This is an amazing experience for us.
It's been great.
And I think this is our, this is my 16th year, I think,
I believe the 17th year of the podcast.
So amazing what we've built
and everybody out there listening, watching.
Thank you so much for being part
of the Fantasy Football Today family.
And especially if any of you are,
those of you who donate in our draft-a-thon, big thank you for that. FFT Open wrapping up. This is the last week of the regularFF football today family and especially if any of you or those of you who donate in our draftathon, big thank you for that.
FFT open wrapping up.
This is the last week of the regular season there, but you guys are great.
You're all great and love the interactions with the people.
It's the best part of the job.
So hope you all have an amazing Thanksgiving and a great week 13 as well.
Okay.
News and notes.
Aidan O'Connell will start for...
Ah, my microphone fell. Aiden
O'Connell will start for Las Vegas at Kansas City on Friday. Daniel Joe, oh, can we get
Schaefer on here? How you feeling? How's it feel to have Daniel Jones on your favorite
team? Do you need any pointers? You doing okay?
He's getting paid like what? A hundred grand to be on the practice squad. So best third
stringer in the league, right?
Yeah. Getting paid like
$30 million to not be on the giants. Um, how, how mad do you
think Dan was in our group chat? When I said it will be nice to
see if a good offensive coach can get something out of them.
Oh, he was mad. He was very angry. I almost individually texted Heath.
I started texting you.
I'm like, I'm just going to leave this one alone.
Yeah, so Dano Jones is on the Vikings and we hope it'll just be Sam Darnold and Dano
Jones can benefit for being under Kevin.
What's it like to be, and I know this doesn't apply to you because you're strictly a Giants
fan, but like a casual, just New York
sports fan, casual New York sports football fan, and you're seeing Sam Darnold and Daniel Jones on the Vikings after both were
top 10 overall picks on their respective teams. Sam Darnold's playing fantastic right now, much better than they ever did with the
Jets. And Daniel Jones, who knows if this works out, Sam Darnold walks, gets a big contract someplace else. And the
Vikings decide, you know what, we're gonna go with Daniel Jones
and JJ McCarthy next year. And Daniel Jones comes out of this
looking like a superstar potential or quality NFL
quarterback.
Yeah, I know. Well, I hope he does. I hope he does well.
That's all.
They're probably just enjoying watching the Knicks
play them average tonight.
No one's enjoying that.
Trevor Lawrence was limited in practice.
Trevor Lawrence has not ruled out
having surgery on his shoulder in season,
which would obviously end his season,
but he's limited as of now.
You guys ranking Trevor Lawrence?
We did, yeah.
Okay.
I put him in the projections.
He didn't crack the top 24.
Oh, fair enough. Cooper Rush is gonna play Brock Purdy, I just mentioned, but Tommy DeVito is
unlikely to play. So it's gonna be Drew Lock most likely at Dallas on Thursday. And that doesn't
change anything for neighbors or Tracy, does it? Could help them. Yeah. I'll be cheering really
hard for Drew Lock to have like the best passing day for the Giants this season.
Yeah. Well, I don't know about that because you said the Cowboys are your
number one DST. So they are. But over 10 targets from
league neighbors. Over. Under. I mean, nine and a half.
Right around there. Yeah. Sounded like you said nine and a half.
Breece Hall question. Yeah. No. half. Breeze Hall question, yeah, no, over.
Breeze Hall questionable with an injury.
This is the big one, pick up Breylin Allen
because Breeze Hall really sounds like
he's truly questionable, may not play in this game.
That's coming out of a buy.
So who knows how long this will linger.
Get Breylin Allen on your team.
David Montgomery was limited.
They're optimistic about him playing.
It looks like Alexander Madison being limited is a good sign, but apparently Sincere McCormick
Antonio Pierce mentioned Sincere McCormick.
We're going to talk about this.
We already talked about this game.
Sorry.
That's a Friday game.
Does anybody have any interest in starting Sincere McCormick for the Raiders?
I'm going to guess just because it's Thanksgiving.
He's being sincere.
Okay.
I'm going to take that as a no.
If I have to start a Raiders running back.
Fair. And Brian Robinson Jr. was limited.
Jamie talked about that one.
And Isaiah Pacheco is going to play.
And they said they're going to determine the workload
within the game, during the game.
See how that's going.
Wide receiver news.
Amanrao St. Brown, they're optimistic about him
playing Thursday, but not Romeo Dobbs.
He'll be out.
Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalfe mispracticed. They're at the Jets on Sunday. Keon Coleman was limited. Devante Smith miss
practice again. He starts the week with the DNP. They're at Baltimore. Calvin Ridley miss
practice. Probably a rest day for him. Brandon Cooks is going to play on Thursday. Jalen
Coker miss practice. He did not play last week. Cedric Tillman is in the concussion protocol
but he's getting better according to Kevin O'Connell,
or sorry, according to the Browns head coach,
who is Sullivan.
Kevin, Kevin.
Kevin.
Kevin McAllister.
It's time for Home Alone, isn't it?
Yeah, it is.
It is a true Christmas movie.
Anyway, Cedric Tillman, we'll see, they play on Monday.
And Demarcus Robinson is going to play this week
for the Rams and then maybe a suspension
at some point later this season or next season.
Dalton Kincaid mispractice.
Tyler Higby is going to practice but not play this week, unlikely he's going to play.
Will Disley mispractice, just a Wednesday practice, probably going to be okay.
Noah Phant practiced in full.
Jatavian Sanders I believe is not going to play this week and Jake Ferguson also not
going to play. And those are Ferguson also not going to play.
And those are the major injuries on defense. Packers are banged up.
Obviously the 49ers are banged up, but Nick Bosa expressed some optimism about playing. Jamie mentioned Matthew Wright, a kicker for the Chiefs with a great
matchup. I don't know if he's any good.
Roquan Smith was limited in practice, so that's great news for Baltimore.
If he can get back out there.
Eagles are banged up.
Denver starting cornerback Riley Moss mispracticed.
He has an MCL injury, so he left last week's game early,
and that could really help Cleveland.
Matt Milano, Buffalo linebacker, he practiced in full.
Wonder if he makes it back out there today, or this week.
And then two big injuries for the Chargers,
Denzel Perryman, who missed last week's game,
he missed practice and so did Khalil Mack.
And both of the starting cornerbacks for the Raiders
are out or two of them, Nate Hobbs and Jacory and Bennett
are out this week.

One question for each game.
Houston at Jacksonville, big game for CJ Stroud, Jamie?
Potentially.
You know, I had almost a 20-point game last week and turnovers were a problem, but I think
anytime Nico Collins is on the field in a plus matchup, you're going to feel comfortable
about T.J.
Stroud to what degree remains to be seen because it's been a disappointing season for him.
But I do think given the fact that Jacksonville is number one in most fantasy points allowed
to quarterbacks, an opportunity potentially for a shootout
here if Trevor Lawrence does play given how bad Houston's defense has performed and the
injuries in the secondary. I kind of like this spot for CJ Stroud. So I would start
him over both guys in the Thursday night game of Tua Tonga Bailoa and Jordan Love.
I would start him over two. I don't have him over love.
Okay.
Would you start him over Jared Goff,
CJ Stroud or Jared Goff?
I have Goff higher.
I would also start him over both the quarterbacks
in the Thursday late afternoon.
Okay.
Would you?
There is a, there is potential for a breakout game.
This is the slump buster for CJ Stroud.
Like he's ready to
You know remind us who he is. Yeah, hope so
Okay, I have a good stat about tank Dell when we get to that game in a little bit
Indianapolis is that New England start or sit Michael Pitt do do do do do do do Michael Pitt man
Think he's a good number three receiver for this week, you know, we'll see what Christian Gonzalez does
But the Patriots have been really bad against just everything in the last two games and Jalen Waddell had a big game
We saw both Rams receivers had big games two weeks prior
There's a there's a lot to like about the situation here for him because 15 targets in his last two games. No Josh Downs
Anthony Richardson is looking for him. So, you know, just given the setup,
I don't think you want to go all in
and say must start receiver in two receiver leagues,
but in three receiver leagues, I think he's back in your,
he should be back in your good graces given the setup.
I'd start him over both the 49ers, over Waddle,
over Christian Watson, over both the Chiefs.
Okay.
Some guys.
Cleveland at Denver, I find this game to be super intriguing. How do you approach
the Cleveland wide receivers Heath?
Do we think that Jerry Judy is going to get the shadow like if Cedric Tillman shows up,
does that help Jerry Judy not get the shadow? I'm right now I've got Judy as a borderline
number two. I've got Elijah Moore as kind of a mid wide receiver three.
I would start Elijah Moore over all the guys.
I just said that I would start Michael Pittman over.
And that you would obviously, okay.
And where's Judy and Judy?
Judy and Moore over all the guys, yes.
And so right now we're not projecting Cedric Tillman.
We're not ranking him.
Here's something weird.
So when Tillman went out in week 12,
Jerry Judy played about,
I wanna say more than 60% of his snaps in the slot,
and Elijah Moore played more outside.
It was strange, I don't really understand why,
but that did happen.
All right, Chargers are at Atlanta.
Jamie, do you like a tight end in this game?
Will Disley, Kyle Pitts, do you like a tight end in this game? Will Disley, Kyle Pitts, you like a tight end in this game?
I currently have Pitts ranked ahead of Disley.
By the time we get to tomorrow,
I'll probably move Disley ahead of Pitts.
It's a bad matchup.
Chargers just allowed their first touchdown
to a tight end last week, which was Mark Andrews.
Pitts has scored less than three PPR points
in two of his last three games.
He's only scored, he only has a game with a touchdown.
He had two of them last three games. He's only scored, he only has a game with a touchdown. He had two of them since week one.
So given the setup for both of these guys,
I think it's safer to say that Disley can get
to that eight point mark more so than Pitts can.
So I'll give Disley the slight nod over Pitts.
All right, Philadelphia's at Baltimore.
Starter sit Zay Flowers.
Start.
Low end starter, but he's got to pick it up.
I mean, it feels like the Broncos game,
which obviously is one of the tougher matchups,
was the last time we saw him really play
like the player I think he's capable of.
And that's, I think a credit more to Lamar Jackson
and really a discredit to Zay Flowers
because he's spreading the ball around
and we're seeing other guys step up
like Rashad Bateman last week. And the run game's obviously been so successful for Baltimore, but
you know Flowers has just not I think ascended to the heights that we've hoped for him to get to.
He's just not getting enough targets and not scoring enough touchdowns, but he's got that
in his bags though and I don't think the matchup is one that you completely run away from.
Would you start Ze Flowers or how about James Connor
at Minnesota?
Flowers and PPR.
Yeah, I don't love that matchup for Connor.
Okay.
Zay Flowers or Bucky Irving?
Bucky.
Bucky.
Rashad White.
Oh, Flowers.
Okay. San Francisco's at Buffalo.
Is there a top 24 wide receiver in this game?
No.
I think I have Kool-Yul Shakir just inside.
I would keep it if Keon Coleman's back and he did get a partial practice in.
So if Keon Coleman's back, then no.
Yeah. And so if Keon Coleman's back, then no. Yeah, I even like a little hesitant to make too much of this stat.
But the 49ers are really bad against the slot.
26th and yards allowed to wide receivers out of the slot.
Third most yards per catch to wide receivers out of the slot.
This status sort of led me astray.
But now we're 12 weeks into the season and they struggle against.
And Diomedore Lenore is injured too,
but obviously Shakir being the slot guy,
that could be a good matchup for him.
Pittsburgh is at Cincinnati,
are you starting a Steelers running back?
Anybody wanna start a Steelers running back?
And if so, which one?
I would prefer not to.
I mean, the Bengals are number eight
and fewest fantasy points allowed to the position.
And they are actually number one in fewest yards, fewest receiving yards allowed to running
backs.
They are number four in fewest receptions allowed to running backs.
And they are one of four teams yet to allow a touchdown catch to a running back.
So that kind of negates the upside or the potential of Jalen Morin and whatever Najee
could do in the passing game.
And then you saw last week, and who knows if it was
because there was a little bit of an injury to Najee Harris
that first time this season that Warren played more snaps
than Harris.
So it feels like we're just back where we were a year ago
where it's just tough to trust either one of them.
I still give the slight nod to Najee,
but they're almost essentially back to back.
Okay. Who did we just talk about that we did?
Oh, how about Brian Robinson, Jamie?
Brian Robinson, Tennessee, or home against Tennessee,
or Stewart's running back at Cincinnati?
Yeah, Brian Robinson.
I think again, just the potential workload for him.
As long as he gets in some semblance of a full practice
where you can feel comfortable as health,
then I think he's a little bit safer
than the Pittsburgh guys.
All right, here we go.
Let's break it down.
Houston's at Jacksonville.
Stat of the game number one, very simple.
Jamie mentioned the first part of this.
The Jaguars allow the most fantasy points
to opposing quarterbacks.
The second most fantasy points to opposing running backs.
And the third most fantasy points
to opposing wide receivers.
They stink.
But stat of the game number two,
so obviously Mixon and Nico feel good about.
What about Tankdell? Well, here feel good about. What about Tankdale?
Well, here's one thing I noticed about Tankdale.
He only has two touchdowns this season on 68 targets.
But with Nico Collins on the field, Tankdale has one red zone and zero end zone targets.
With him off the field, he has seven red zone and six end zone targets.
So that is tough to catch a touchdown with Nico Collins,
getting all those targets, I guess. But we talked about CJ Stroud. He's a borderline start,
obviously Mixin and Collins. What about Tankdale? How do you feel about Tankdale this week, Heath?
Mid to low end wide receiver three. And there's a lot of those this week. I mean,
that might extend all the way from wide receiver 30 to wide receiver 45.
Um, I would start him over the 49ers.
I would start him over Waddle and Watson and the chiefs.
Um, so I think wide receiver 35 somewhere in there.
Okay.
Uh, and we're going to sit Dalton Schultz.
So Jamie, how much do things change for the Jaguars
if Trevor Lawrence plays as opposed to Mack Jones?
If Trevor Lawrence plays, Brian Thomas Jr.
is basically a borderline must start receiver,
certainly a top 24 caliber receiver.
And Evan Ingram is a must start tight end.
Now you're probably starting Brian Thomas
in three receiver leagues anyway,
and you're probably starting Evan Ingram in most scenarios anyway, but they just become that much
more safe, secure upside. You know, we've seen this Texans defense against opposing receivers
really struggle and their secondaries banged up. We've seen them recently struggle against
tight ends, you know, which has kind of been their strength for the majority of the season.
They are still top five in terms of fewest fantasy points allowed to the position,
but they struggled late.
So I just feel more confident about everybody catching the ball there.
And for those two guys in particular, this would be the first game for
them without the other two guys being there in terms of Christian Kirk and
Gabe Davis.
So we may see more targets, which has kind of been the problem for Brian Thomas.
He just hasn't been uber targeted like we like to see to get a few
more opportunities against Detroit.
That was with Mac Jones.
So I love the upside for both of them.
If Trevor plays, you know, it's his non throwing shoulder.
So it's not like you have to worry about his arm per se being 100%.
So if he's out there, I'm all in on Brian Thomas.
I'm all in on Evan Ingram.
If he's not out there, there may be starts.
Okay. Brian Thomas, if Trevor Lawrence plays,
is obviously gonna be ahead of Tank Del.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
If Mack Jones is under center,
Brian Thomas or Tank Del?
Still Brian Thomas.
I mean, again, you buy into what he did with Detroit.
So Garbage Time, I think it's still an opportunity
for him to get, I would say seven to ten targets
And I think just getting seven to ten targets against this defense, you know, I mean we saw it
We saw it against Dallas, you know that the the production was there for the Cowboys guys, you know
Whether it was schoolmaker or or CD lamb, you know catching getting opportunities in that game
I think that would be the case as well in this matchup also
opportunities in that game. I think that would be the case as well
in this matchup also.
Evan Ingram, assuming it's Trevor Lawrence,
would you start Evan Ingram or Kate Otten?
Ingram for me.
Otten for me.
And that's one of the guys like Otten, Hunter Henry,
and I think Goddard were the guys that he was behind
with Mac Jones and ahead of with Trevor Lawrence.
That's in full PPR.
Goddard, or sorry, Ingram or Taysom Hill, full PPR.
Taysom Hill.
Taysom.
Okay, all right.
I think we're pretty much done with this game.
The Texans DST is ranked high.
Jacksonville running backs.
Wow, I am sorry.
And thank you for mentioning that.
I actually dropped Travis Etienne in two leagues today to pick up Braylon Allen.
I have no faith in a Jacksonville running back because what's a Tank Bigsby is going
to play.
He's practicing in full.
And Travis Etienne hasn't had more than 13 carries all year and he's probably going to
get out carried.
So do you guys have any faith in a Jacksonville running back?
No, I still would prefer ETN over Bigsby,
just because of his hopeful role in the passing game.
But this is a bad matchup.
I know Tony Pollard dispelled all of that last week,
but I still think you just look at what the body of work
has been for this Jacksonville backfield.
When there's been one guy,
he's been a little bit easier to trust in terms of Bigsby mostly. But he's got a score touchdown. He's not going
to be involved in the passing game. ETN is probably not going to do much on the ground.
It's just, I think, a position group to avoid.
If you've been starting Gervonta Williams and you've got Tank Bigsby, I'd probably put
Tank Bigsby in. I'd start Tank Bigsby over Isaiah Pacheco.
Oh, okay.
Over Amir Abdullah?
If any, but yes.
No, just yes.
Okay.
And is there anyone else?
Did I forget anyone else?
I think you're good now.
All right, let's go to Indianapolis at New England.
Stat of the game number one. All right, so I go to Indianapolis at New England. Stat of the game number one.
All right, so I did want to talk a little bit more
about Michael Pittman.
Jamie said he's in the wide receiver three discussion,
I believe.
First of all, last week he had three catches
of 22 or more yards.
He came into the game in week 12 with five catches
all year of 22 or more yards.
Like I had said on Tuesday or Wednesday show,
whatever it was, there was so many opportunities
for the Colts against Detroit.
And Pittman actually took advantage of some of it.
But here's the stat I wanted to give.
With Josh Downs on the field this year,
Michael Pittman has a 19.5% target per route run rate.
With him off the field, it's 27.4%.
And I was actually was expecting Heath to be higher
on Pittman because you were higher on him,
I think last week and was a good call.
Cause he, he's now had a lot of targets,
two games in a row with Richardson
and that's with Downs playing for much of it.
So the last I checked your rankings,
I think it was a couple of days ago, in all fairness,
he was in the forties.
Where do you have Pittman now?
I think he's like right around 36
or that's where he will be.
And like you talked a lot about how high it was.
I think he was like 38th last week, which was a lot higher than everybody else.
Yeah, but Downs was playing, you know, so even you were, you know.
Listen, I think there's a chance that we're just all too low on Michael Pittman and we
do like, like Jamie and I both like Pitt Pitt like Anthony Richardson as a start this week. But there's also the chance that like
Richardson goes eight for 20 and has two rushing touchdowns and is still a good fantasy quarterback
and Pittman just doesn't have that good a day. So he's not a safe number three, but
he is does have a little bit more upside.
And I was trying to look, I couldn't get it pulled up.
I think most of those big plays that happened when Richards is playing
quarterback, which is kind of the blessing and the curse.
Um, he can make big plays with Anthony Richardson, but there's not the way that
he's thrived as like a high volume, high catch guy hasn't been available with
Richardson because the completion percentage numbers are so low.
And I will say this, I haven't said this in a while because of all the bye weeks.
When we have everybody playing and you look at our rankings, really at mostly the wide receiver
position, wide receiver 30 is still a number two receiver for me. I'm assuming probably pretty
low for Heath. You know, so we can't fit all these guys that we like in the top 24.
We can't fit all in the top 36.
So, you know, in the case of Heath,
check out his projections on sports line.
In the case of the sites projections,
check them out on your league fantasy page.
You know, you may see somebody that's ranked 36
and say, oh, that's not somebody that they like.
We probably do like them, you know, so.
Why don't you put like a little T24 next to 12 guys? So I just pulled it up because that was a terrible idea. Michael Pittman's seven
longest receptions this year are from Anthony Richardson. It doesn't surprise me, right?
Richardson takes shots, but we do actually have a two game sample size of Michael Pittman with
Anthony Richardson without Josh Dallas and it was terrible. It was 7.1 fantasy points in week one against Houston and it was 5.1 fantasy points in week
two at Green Bay.
We're just hoping that Richardson is playing a little bit better now and maybe can make
more things happen.
So you guys, so Heath, you said you and Jamie both like Anthony Richardson as a starter.
Go ahead and make the case and tell me who you'd start Anthony Richardson over.
I would start Anthony Richardson over Matthew Stafford, CJ Stroud, Jordan Love, Tuatanga
Violoa. I'd start him over Kyler Murray.
Jamie?
And the case is that Tuah's really not been very good this year and just got right against
the Patriots. They're a terrible defense. Richardson has 29 to 30 point upside every
time he steps on the field.
And while there is some downside risks still,
that upside's worth it against a really bad matchup,
really bad defense, good matchup.
A defense that gives up the sixth most completions
of 20 or more yards.
They give up a lot of big plays.
All right, let's talk about Jonathan Taylor, Jamie.
He comes off a dud 3.5 fantasy
point points against Detroit the week before that he scored seven PPR fantasy points at
the Jets in six games with Richardson. He has five catches, four touchdowns in those
six games. So how do you feel about him against the Patriots? A good matchup?
I feel good about him because it's the Patriots and it's a good matchup. So he's not a
Top 10 fantasy running back. He's more of a
Top 20 fantasy running back, which is really disappointing to think of given where we drafted him and the amount of touches that he has He had over 20 carries against the Jets and you know had less than 60 yards rushing in that game
So if he's not catching the ball and not scoring touchdowns, it's really frustrating.
And he does feel like a trap back given the situation,
but it's Patriots like you said, you know, so,
if he was playing anybody else,
the rest of season schedule after their buy is not favorable.
He's got Denver coming off of their bye week.
I think if he can get you to your championship week,
they get the Giants in week 17.
That's great.
But this week and that week feel like the best chances for Jonathan
tiller to be successful. He may fall into the end zone against the Broncos and I believe
he also gets the Titans in week 15 or 16. One of those two. I'm sorry, it gets the Broncos
in week 15, the Titans in week 16. So not easy back to back games. I just think if he
gets you to your championship game, you'll be happy about it because the Giants should
be a favorable opponent
Is he better than Jonathan that is he better than Brian Robinson? Yes
He is better than Brian Robinson, but I would start bucky Irving over him this week. Obviously chase Brown is easy
Chuba Hubbard against the Bucks Chuba Hubbard is easy Tony Pollard is easy
I'm almost at the point to be honest with you where I would consider Rico Dowdle this week over Jonathan Taylor.
I don't have it ranked that way,
but at least you know Dowdle will be three to five catches
in his matchups, the fantastic against the Giants.
It's just the Patriots.
If he was playing anybody else this week,
he would almost be a sit.
Anything to add, Heath?
Are we good?
No, we're good.
Okay.
So the other, Alec Pierce, Adonai Mitchell. Anything there? Anyone the other Alec Pierce at an I Mitchell
Any anything there anyone else here didn't practice today there? I don't think I
Missed that
Okay. All right. So don't start him if he's not gonna play but you guys aren't gonna have we think he's going to play
It's Wednesday, but I don't want to start another cold sweat receiver. No
Alright, so over to the Patriots any starters on on the Patriots? Anyone you want to start on New England?
Henry?
Henry is a borderline starter.
You know, again, I don't want to get,
I don't want to panic and I don't think anybody should
based on Austin Hooper scoring a touchdown.
He still had nine targets and five catches
in that game against Miami.
So he's still a go-to option for Drake May.
And we've seen this Colts
team really struggle against tight ends at times. But you know is he a must-start tight end? No.
So Taysom Hill clearly better. I like him better than Schoonmaker. I think he's not probably
disagree on that one. I think I've Henry ahead of Schoonmaker. You know he's not somebody that I
would run to. I wouldn't run to replace him
I like him better than the cow pits. For example, I can better than will disley, you know
he's in that I like him better than Mark Andrews as we can and Laporta and commit and
Remondre is a flex like there's still a chance
Remondre might have 18 touches in this game might have 15 carries and three catches and turn out to be a number two running back
So I think I've got him 27th. Here's a group of running backs. We
already talked about the Steelers that I really don't want to start. I've got nausea ahead
of him, but he's ahead of Warren. I've got Swift just ahead of him, but he's ahead of
Rashad White. I'd rather start Ramandre than Nick Chubb. I'd rather start him than a Chief
Sora Jacksonville running back, but I don't really want to start him. I will listen, check his start percentage before the game
because he's got this stretch going of basically
every single week he defies his start percentage.
If it's super low, he's going to have a big game.
If people start buying into him, he's going to be terrible.
So I've been tracking it.
And he was started in 82% of leagues last week
and he scored 3.3 fantasy points.
I think this is a good matchup though for him.
You know, just given how bad the Colts have been
against opposing running backs
and the amount of work that he should get.
This shouldn't be a game where they got blown out
each of the last two weeks.
Like I don't think they're getting blown out
by the Colts in their build.
I know, but nobody has him that high.
So I can't really-
He's 24 for me.
Okay, he is averaging 2.85 yards per carry with a long of 12 yards
on 85 carries in six games since returning from a foot injury.
I just don't know if he's healthy. He's just been horrible.
So, all right.
No one's making a huge case for Ramadre Stevenson,
but obviously we love him when there's a good game script.
We love his role when there's a good game script.
And this should be a a good game script. We love his role when there's a good game script, and this should be a pretty good game script.
DiMario Douglas will get you about 10 points.
He'll be in the nine to 12 point range.
Book it.
And that's about it.
See, I think we have some questions here.
Taysom Hill or Hunter Henry?
Taysom.
Taysom.
Rest of season, Bucky Irving or Jonathan Taylor?
Bucky for two reasons.
His schedule is better, his work in the past, three reasons. His schedule is better, his work in the past,
three reasons, his schedule is better,
his work in the past game is better.
You don't have a bye week to worry about.
So you can't play Taylor next week.
John who Smith or Ramondre Stevenson in PPR?
John for me.
Oh, John who?
Yeah, I don't generally compare tight ends
to running backs, but yeah,
I've got John who at half a point better.
All right. And that's it. The DST is in this game and we're going to take a break on fantasy football today.
And when we come back, I will knock my microphone over again and we will be right back with Cleveland at Denver after this.
Oh, interrupting their playlist to talk about Defying Gravity, are we?
That's right, Newton.
With a Bronco and Bronco Sport, Gravity has met its match.
Huh, maybe that apple hit me a little harder than I thought.
Yeah, you should get that checked out.
With standard 4x4 capability, Broncos keep going up and up.

I don't know why I'm really into this Cleveland Denver game on Monday night, guys. Am I the only one you're feeling it?
I really think Cleveland's going to be able to move the ball.
I just I've got Cleveland fever.
Especially if well, if they're down a cornerback.
I'm just wondering if that was the issue last week for Denver.
You know, letting letting two wide receivers go for over 80 yards.
That win against Pittsburgh was really impressive
and I'm just feeling it.
I think they've been pretty competitive
since Jameis has been there, right?
And they've had some fun games.
They play some fun games.
They give up a ton of big plays on defense, that's good.
I really wanna like sit down and,
I've actually watched a ton of Bo Nicks, but like on the all 22, which is kind of boring. I'm excited to watch a Bo Nicks game.
And I think we have some interesting fantasy decisions in here as well. So
it starts with a Judy revenge game. Yeah. Could technically call it a Jamis revenge
game against Sean Payton. Was he, did they overlap there in New Orleans and Payton didn't play him?
was he, did they overlap there in New Orleans and Peyton didn't play him?
Yes, they did.
And I think you might be right that we had
a Derek Carr injury, right?
And he played Taysom instead of Jamis?
He played Taysom instead of Jamis.
Oh, wow.
Oh yeah, I love it.
Now see, now you're gonna watch.
Someone asks, is it crazy to start Cortland Sutton
over Amon Ross St. Brown?
I'm worried about his injury.
I would not do that, but Sutton has been an absolute stud.
I mean, what a month he's had after the no target game.
I mean, the last five games, I believe it's like 14 PPR
points or more.
The last two have been, you know, just amazing as Bo Nix has gone.
So has Kortland Sutton.
So yeah, I wouldn't do it either.
And I just like, unless we hear something tomorrow morning, can you imagine your Thanksgiving
being ruined as you watch a Monroe St. Brown score like 35 fantasy points and you're sitting
there with your family trying not to be just absolutely miserable because he's on your bench and you tell somebody at the table I'm upset
because he's on my bench why would you bench him on Ross Abraham? Why would you not play both?
Like who are the other guys? You can't get both those guys in your lineup somewhere.
So last week we had all the buys and my wife had like some lineup decisions to make. So it was Tuesday and she's like had to pick up some players.
So I was like, who the best available player?
She goes, it is a 10 team league.
Says who's C Sutton?
I was like, pick him up, pick him up.
So you never know.
He loved to play the league.
Take your wife again.
Ah, come on.
She said he was the highest projected player.
She would have picked him up even without me.
All right. So for Cleveland, you don't, you're not going to start Jamis Winston. You don't
want to start Nick Chubb. Jerome Ford maybe can catch a few passes because the Broncos
give up the fifth most receiving yards, two running backs, and then the Cleveland wide
receivers. So how much does it change Heath if Cedric Tillman plays?
You know, I was just looking at this because I'd said the thing about the slot
and the moving around or the moving around and you mentioned the slot and so I went and looked
and over the last four weeks and it's not just last week I looked at prior weeks also Jerry
Judy has a 37 percent slot rate. Yeah. Like they're moving him around a lot. I don't think he's gonna get followed So I'm gonna start Jerry Judy is in a three wide receiver league for sure
He's questionable in a two wide receiver league. I would downgrade his target percentage a little bit
But maybe upgrade his efficiency because I really don't think if Judy and Tillman and Moore are all there
That we're gonna have Patrick Surtan following one of them around because how would you guess which one to follow? So I'm gonna start Judy. If there's no Tillman,
then I'm probably gonna start Elijah Moore in full PPR leagues as a low end number three wide
receiver. If Tillman's there, then Moore would be more of a flex. And I'd probably
view Tillman as a low end number three wide receiver, but he might be the riskiest because
he really doesn't go into the slot very often at all and could just get stuck with more
snaps with Sertan on him.
A question from the chat, Jerry Judy, Darnale Mooney or Joanne Jennings, if Brock Purdy is out.
Well, I think you should answer both if Purdy's in or out.
So I don't-
Judy, Jennings, either way.
Yeah, and I like the way San Francisco's behaved this year, we're probably going to be waiting until
10 minutes before their game to find out if Brock
Perry is playing. Sunday night. But you could still make a Judy because Judy's on Monday
night so you can still make that decision. All right. So I guess is it Jamie I just want
to get you in on this because you're a little lower on Jerry Judy as of now you have him
29th and Heath has him 20th. Jerry Judy. I just think it's it's not an easy matchup.
There is the opportunity here.
Like if you're the Broncos and you traded away Jerry, Judy,
you don't want to see him come back in your building have a good game.
So the best way to do that is to put your best cornerback on him
and take your chances elsewhere.
Riley Moss's injury is not going to help the situation
when you don't have your complete secondary available to you.
Keep in mind, Judy's played four games with James Wins.
He's got one touchdown.
You know, so I don't think you got to count on him scoring to help you.
And he does have one big blow up game.
That was the game he scored two games ago.
So is he getting 11 targets?
Is he going to get 14 PPR points or more?
Are we living in that 11 to 12 range or living in that 12 range, which is kind of where he's
been.
So without any teams on a buy, I do think he qualifies as a, you know,
close to a number two receiver.
So in the top 30 is basically a number two receiver,
but given the matchup, given the circumstances,
given the potential of seeing some of Patrick Sertan,
if not a lot of Patrick Sertan,
I would lean more towards sit than start.
He's definitely a sit for me in two quarterback leagues
and two wide receiver leagues.
Okay. And Elijah Moore ranked below him. Anybody like David
Njoku this week?
Yes.
Low end tight end one.
Taysom or David Njoku?
Taysom. Come on.
Ingram or Njoku?
Ingram with Trevor. Njoku without Trevor.
Yep. Starter at Bo Nix.
Must start quarterback.
Top 10.
This has been an easy matchup.
I mean, they give up the fourth most passing yards
per attempt.
They give up among the most big plays,
third most completions of 20 or more yards,
third most completions of 20 more air yards.
Cleveland's defense has been really bad this year.
They don't see a lot of pass attempts though.
They've only won three games,
but they don't see a lot of pass attempts against.
Six few was pass attempts against for Cleveland,
but it's a good matchup and Bo Nix is playing well.
And the funny, he's playing well
and he has five or fewer rushing yards
in four of his last five games.
You know, that's always in his back pocket.
Who's the best running back in this game?
Nick Chubb.
Whew, Nick Chubb.
And star Cortland Sutton.
Devon Vailay or Elijah Moore?
Moore.
Moore.
All right, let me see if I can read some questions
in the chat here.
Nijoku or TJ Hawkinson?
Nijoku. Hawkinskinson? Nijoku.
Hawkinson's actually got a tough matchup.
Arizona's been really good against tight ends.
So, you know, it's one of those situations
where it's not a lot of superstar tight ends
that have done, you know, well again,
or done poorly against them.
But Hawkinson, two good games, two bad games.
I think this could be a little bit of a mediocre game for him.
I've got Nij who one spot higher.
Elijah Moore or Alexander Madison in PPR?
Moore.
Moore.
Okay. All right. That is it for this game.
You can start the block.
Put that back up.
Oh, what was it? The Moore one?
So fantastic.
Is that Eric?
Is that Eric?
Oh, that's me being...
Is that Eric? Is that Eric? Oh, that's me being absolutely terrified. Yeah. Well done. People are asking where I am, by the way, if you're watching. I'm in the office in Fort
Lauderdale. I think I'm the only one in the building. In fact, I went to the bathroom
and there was a cleaning lady in there and she was like, oh, excuse me. No one's usually
in here at this point.
Do you have to like peek through the crack?
She was just sitting there, excuse me. No one's usually in here at the You have to like peek through the crack.
She was just sitting there, you know, just the cleaning. You know, I think, I think it could be a result of, of Adam.
They've removed, they redid all the bathroom.
Yeah.
When we were in the studio.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Adam's so disappointed.
No, I'm not disappointed. It's amazing. The stalls go all the way down to the floor now.
It's great.
All the way down to the floor. You can't see through the cracks of the other thing when he
peeped a certain person that one time. It might have been me. And yeah, I think that's the
Adam Hazer result. You're welcome.
You're a little bit scared, right? No, I'm fine.
Being in a building there with nobody else. There's security guards here. I'm okay.
No, I'm fine. Like being in a building there with nobody else.
There's security guards here, I'm okay.
Bo Nix or Patrick Mahomes from Eric.
Mahomes.
Mahomes.
Sorry about that, that was really loud.
All right, next game is the Chargers at the Falcons.
How high do you have Justin Herbert ranked
against this dreadful defense?
Top 10.
10 or 11, yeah.
Nix or Herbert?
Herbert.
I was just looking at this.
I don't know which one I put ahead in the rankings
at this point.
They are both projected for the exact same score
to the 100th point.
So I think I'll probably go with Nix.
All right, I mean, gosh, Atlanta,
they have been really bad.
They've got 18 touchdown passes in their last seven games.
21 or more fantasy points to five straight quarterbacks.
So Justin Herbert's got that going for him.
Stat of the game, by the way, on this one,
Lad McConkey has four receptions of 16 or more yards
in his last four games.
That's what true media defines as a big play.
That's the most in the NFL.
I love that about McConkie.
He is not your typical slot receiver.
He works downfield.
He makes big plays and he's on fire.
Is he in the top 20 this week?
Lad McConkie.
He's very close.
So I'd start him over Judy.
Um, try and think who else of significance.
How about like the Jets receivers or lad McConkey?
I have Wilson ahead of McConkey,
McConkey ahead of Adams.
Trying to figure out why I'm so low on McConkey.
I do have both the Jets wide receiver.
I've got them around 30.
I'll give you a reason to be, I'll give you a reason.
Well, I've got a reason.
All right.
The nine target game was awesome, but it's reason. Well, I've got a reason. All right.
The nine target game was awesome, but it's six, two, seven, six, seven.
Like that's not a top 20 wide receiver when you're getting six targets per game.
And the other thing is the last two weeks, they've given up a lot of points to the Bengals
and the Ravens and they've thrown, uh, Justin Herbert's thrown 36 passes in both of those
games. I don't, Atlanta is not a bad offense at all, but you guys don't really have Kirk Cousins ranked
high so maybe you're not expecting them to put up big points here.
And maybe Justin Herbert gets back under 30 yards, or 30 pass attempts.
Now no Dobbins, so that helps I think, right?
It helps the pass attempts.
But there is that, there's that downside.
So I guess I should ask you about
Quinton Johnston. No catches on five targets last week. Anybody have any interest in starting Quinton
Johnston? I don't think you want to start him. I mean, clearly depends on how many receivers you
play, who's available to you based on injuries, and it's not a bad matchup. So, you know, he's,
like we've talked about Tankedell, we've talked about the 49
years guys, we've talked about, you know, Vele and players like that. Like he's
sort of right in that range, you know, of, you know, low end number three receiver.
I do think that they're still touched on potentially, or I also think based on
what Justin Herbert said, where he kind of stuck up for him after the drops, that we may see
some additional targets to try and get him back on track.
So wouldn't surprise me if he's better.
Plus, he also heard about our bet.
So I think he wants to make sure that, you know, Quinton Johnson delivers so that the
next time you come to South Florida, we take you back to your favorite burger joint.
Yeah, I'm picking the place.
Like if people know,
I'm never going to a place that you pick.
No, that's not fair.
Like you said lots of things about food
that were clearly awful takes,
but now that I know that your taste is actually bad,
I won't be going any place that you choose.
You probably told Dave to take me
to that pizza place in New York.
Like I wouldn't want somebody, I wouldn't go draw.
I don't want you to go drop Quinton Johnston for a Vela or a Nick Westbrook.
I still think there's that big play upside for Johnston every week, but I've got him
ranked 48th.
So I'm not exactly wanting to start him. Will Disley and Kyle Pitts,
I asked Jamie about this during the one question
for each game, he says he's gonna move
Disley ahead of Pitts.
Heath, do you have Disley ahead of Pitts?
I don't have either one ranked as a top 15 tight end.
I do have Pitts ahead of Disley, I think,
but they're both, like, I'd rather start
Schoonmaker than either one.
Would you start Dallas Goddard over them,
even if Devontae Smith plays,
or is that just Devontae Smith dependent?
He was better with Smith.
He actually doesn't have a great track record
of when one of the guys is out.
Not that many games, but we'll get to that in a minute.
All right, so we're not loving those tight ends.
Kirk Cousins, not loving him this week.
When he is good, he's really good.
When he is bad, he is really bad. When he is bad, he is really bad.
He's got four games over 20 fantasy points. Two of them have been against Tampa Bay. He
does have a game against the Eagles. That was before the Eagles were the Eagles. And
it's just tough to trust. He hasn't throw a touchdown in the last two games.
And the Chargers, they were a good matchup before they, they were a good opponent. Sorry,
a tough matchup before they faced Cincinnati and Baltimore. Start Bijan, sit Algier, start London, start Mooney, right? But do you have McConkey over
either of them? No. No, I do have McConkey over Mooney. Yes. All right. But they're all starts.
Start those wide receivers and that's Pitts and the Chargers DST. Last I checked, Dave was pretty
low on the Chargers DST and you guys had them in
the top. Jamie's got them ninth, sixth for Heath and 15th for Dave as of right now. Philadelphia
at Baltimore, it is the game of the week. I'm not going to be able to, you know, next
week I'll be back with an awesome game of the week. Maybe I'll even do three to make
up for lost time.
What should I do? I'll, uh, I was going to get him last week on the last game and then
he left. But you
don't have the music and I don't either right now. So it's nothing without the music. I was
gonna think of doing like an acapella version this morning or like a bum ba dum bum. It's the game
of the week. Dumb but like something like that. But I didn't think Philadelphia's at Baltimore.
Start hurts. Start Jackson. Start Barkley. Start Henry. Start Brown. Zay Flowers. Is he in that Philadelphia's at Baltimore, start Hertz, start Jackson,
start Barkley, start Henry, start Brown, Zay Flowers.
Is he in that same Mooney London, McConkie group?
Yes.
I'm starting, yeah, yeah, I'm starting him.
I think we're only talking about the tight ends
of this game, right?
Like, is that it?
Not a lot of tough calls in this one.
Bateman, you guys don't even have him ranked
in the top 40 as I recall. It's too difficult to get a lot, again, all this one. Bateman, you guys don't even have him ranked in the top 40, as I recall. It's too, it's too difficult to get a lot again, all these receivers in there. But
you know, when you look at, um, Heath just mentioned a couple of guys, Nick West,
Russ Booker, Kene and, uh, Mark was Valdez Gantling and Alec Pierce and these guys that are big play
threats, you know, they all have the Spider-Man meme. They're all looking at each other going,
okay, it's your turn. No, it's your turn, no, it's your turn.
Bateman has done it now two of his last three games where he scored a big touchdown.
Wouldn't be surprising if it happens again.
I don't wanna trust it, but you know,
if you are desperate, and I think we're gonna see
some situations where you're down big after, you know,
facing some guys on Thursday or Friday.
Who are the type of guys that can play hero ball?
You know, so if you have a questionable wide receiver, you have a
questionable flex Bateman's the type of guy that can make up 15 points
just with one play alone.
So just keep that in mind.
It's kind of like deciding between DeMario Douglas and Rashad Bateman.
Right.
You're way up on Thursday, play DeMario.
You're way down, play Bateman.
Yep.
Well, the Eagles have allowed only two completions of 20 or more air yards since their bi-week,
which was week five. One of them was the garbage time touchdown to Cooper Cup, 27 yards. But
I am a little concerned about them now. They've got Bryce Huff on IR, you got Brandon Graham
out for the season, you got Darius Slane the concussion protocol. It is very different. But Fangio, I mean, this is what Fangio does. They just
does not allow big plays. So there's that. What were you going to say, Heath?
I just don't like those are great stats and the Eagles defense has been great. And like
if you're playing Lamar Jackson, I just don't care. Because like you can't play the same defense against Lamar Jackson and Derek Henry.
You have to try to stop the run.
And so they're going to expose themselves and the type of big play like the touchdown
the Lamar Jackson threw wasn't open at all to Rashad Bateman.
How do you not laugh at what he just said, Jamie?
If I had said that, he just said Jamie if I had said that he just said
Expose themselves. Yeah, haven't you seen Ghostbusters 2 and you don't want us exposing ourselves
Yeah, that's what I would have said if I were Jamie
All right. Here's a question Bateman or like this is easy Bateman or Myers
Jacobi Myers over Rashad Bateman
Sorry, so I get it. Jikobi. Jikobi Byers over Rashad Bateman. Sorry.
So, all right.
What was I gonna say?
They can't stop the run.
So I'm hoping for a lot of pass attempts in this game,
but I think Henry should do really well.
No team has a higher implied total this week than Baltimore.
Okay.
And how do we feel about Mark Andrews in Dallas?
I do believe Lamar Jackson something like 22 and 1
against the NFC in his career. Holy moly! How do we feel? I think the, who do I think?
I think the Ravens are gonna win. Who do you guys like? The Ravens. I'd take the Ravens.
So to stay in the in the MVP conversation, right?
There's a lot of MVP-
How is he not the favorite?
How is he not the favorite?
There's a lot of MVP things at player.
Yeah.
He has been so much better than everyone else.
It's just wild.
It's not the best player, it's the most valuable player.
Yeah, he has been the most valuable player.
He's incredible.
All right, so, Andrews and Goddard, discuss.
I don't love the setup for Andrews.
Eagles have been really good against tight ends
and he's touchdown dependent.
He does not have a game with double digits in PPR
without a touchdown.
He only has one game over 60 yards receiving this season.
So if he scores, you'll be fine.
If he doesn't score, you're probably looking at a mediocre day.
Goddard, if you're giving up one touchdown to a tight end all season.
Goddard just barely in the top 12.
Andrew's just barely out of the top 12 for me.
Yep.
If Devante Smith plays starter sit.
I'd rather not.
I'd probably try to avoid Goddard if Smith plays.
I just want to bring up another angle of this game, right?
I think it's six straight games with 25 or fewer pass attempts for the Eagles.
And they rarely give up points.
I mean, they've been the best defense in football, I believe, since their buy.
So you said no team has a higher implied total than the Ravens.
Are we going to get 35 pass attempts from Jalen Hertz?
That possibility is on the table.
And if that happens, Dallas Goddard should probably be ranked higher,
if that were to happen.
And if Devontae Smith plays and you get 35 pass attempts,
you probably get a good game out of him too.
So I just wanna put that out there cuz the Eagles that we know and
don't love from a fantasy standpoint because they run the ball so much may have to change things up
a little bit.
They may, but you also may get based on how the matchup looks like this could be a Saquon
Barkley passing game performance.
He's going to throw the ball?
Receiving game performance. You know, we've seen running backs have a lot of success catching the ball against his defense.
You know, so if he can't run against them, which I don't think is the case, but if he can't,
then you know, we may see Jalen Hurts throwing the ball to him quite a bit.
Someone said I look like the kind of guy who takes all the individual food out of my stuffing and
eats them separately.
That's the thing about stuffing.
You don't even know what's in it.
What's in your stuffing, Heath?
I don't make stuffing.
Jamie, what's in your stuffing?
Stuff.
Good answer.
All right.
San Francisco's at Buffalo.
Stat of the game is about how much San Francisco
stinks against slot receivers.
If Brock Purdy plays, is he gonna be in your top 15?
No.
Listen, the Bills DST is 78% rostered.
You might wanna take a look at them.
James Cook, starter sit.
Wait, wait, wait, sorry, sorry. Let's go to the Niners first.
Christian McCaffrey, starter sit.
Oh, boy, man. If no Purdy and if no Trent Williams, he is a
start, but he is not a top 10 running back.
I have James Cook ranked ahead of Christian McCaffrey.
Me too. running back. I have James Cook ranked ahead of Christian McCaffrey. McCaffrey three games last year without a touchdown. Three games this year
without a touchdown. That's incredible. He has a long of 13 yards so far. He has
not had a three game stretch without a 15 yard run since 2020.
I think maybe 20... I think 2019? I don't know, somewhere around.
It's been a while.
He's struggling right now.
And he's had, that's the thing, he has had great matchups.
He has faced three bad run defenses.
And he's done very poorly.
So, you know, but who the heck is sitting Christian McCaffrey?
I just hope, you know, I brought this up to Robert Turbin
on our show today.
You will recall this, I believe you were hosting the show when he said, Josh, Jacob's going
to take some time because of the holdout.
I mean, he didn't play in training camp.
He sat out the first nine games.
Like he's just getting his legs underneath him.
So this is the week, like this is the week we should see the best of him.
But does the environment suggest the best of him you got a Buffalo defense
That's rested coming off a bye. You have potentially no left tackle potentially no quarterback. Yeah, like this could not
Be a worse setup
for what Christian McCaffrey needs, you know, every great player needs some help and
He still needs the guys around him, the best offensive lineman in
football, one of the better quarterbacks in football to help him.
He's not getting that right now.
So I think it was one of you said who's sitting Christian McCaffrey and I get is like looking
at my rankings, you could really easily have chase Brown and Bucky Irving and Chuba Hubbard
and like play three running backs and not start
Christian McCaffrey. Yeah.
I wouldn't do that, but I could see your case.
Who would you sit?
I would probably sit Bucky Irving.
Um, I think I need one more game of him.
Dominate, you know, dominating the catches I think could easily go back
to Rashad White
this week.
But I would start McCaffrey over Irving and Chuba Hubbard for once.
Who is the no matter what, all not sit team?
So like we talked about Tyreek Hill and I made the case like most people are not going
to sit him, right?
We went all season long talking about Patrick Mahomes.
He was still starting in 85% of leagues pretty consistently.
CD Lamb, the last three weeks has been started
across the board, he's rewarded you with two games.
I don't know if he's the best example of that, but.
All right, Lamar Jackson.
Like we're neighbors right now.
So you're saying guys that will just never be set?
Guys that are struggling, cause I mean.
They can't be, here's Lamar Jackson.
The guy who scored five more fancy points
for getting another quarter fair game.
Player Louis Vaughn.
I'll say three weeks,
three weeks in a row of bad production.
No matter what, you're still not sending him.
There's a couple of leagues that I started home
in every league.
So McCaffrey's the captain for me.
He hasn't been that bad though.
Is a good captain. Who's the quarterback right now?
Yeah, I don't know.
Tyler?
No, I'd say him.
I need to look at some teams.
This is a tough one. I would say I don't think there is one.
Like Jalen Hurts, Jalen Hurts has had two bad games in a row actually and if he has
another one I'll still start him. We started, we started Jaden Daniels during
his bad start. Oh that's a good one. That's the one right there. Alright so Jaden Daniel.
Sorry I think we kind of need to move on here,
but I do like this conversation.
It's just going to take me too long.
All right.
So don't start Purdy start McCaffrey.
We talked about the wide receivers.
You really got to pay attention to the weather on Sunday
in this game, but we like Jennings more than Debo Samuel.
I do think we have some questions here.
Roma, doonsay or Debo Samuel?
Role. I'll keep looking. here. Rome Madunze or Debo Samuel? Rome.
I'll keep looking. Aaron Jones or Christian McCaffrey?
You can always do it, Rome if you want to.
I like that, very good.
And sorry, what was it?
Oh, Aaron Jones or Christian McCaffrey?
McCaffrey.
McCaffrey.
Debo Samuel or Jalen Waddle?
Waddle. make happy. Debo Samuel or Jalen wattle. Wattle.
149 or we're not compromising on his George Kittle.
He's a top four tight end.
He start him and Josh Allen, you're going to start James cook.
You're going to start.
How do you feel about any, any bills receivers that you're excited about?
Heath?
I am starting Khalil Shakir as a number two wide receiver. If Keon Coleman's out, I will start Khalil Shakir as a number two wide receiver.
If Keon Coleman's out, I will start Khalil Shakir
as a number three wide receiver if Keon Coleman's back.
And how do you feel about Amari Cooper at this point?
He still has, he hasn't played more than 51%
of the snaps yet.
I, I.
He's gonna have to do that before I'm gonna rank,
he's not in my top 48.
Okay.
And Kincaid has not practiced,
but I assume we're gonna be sitting him,
even if he plays, it's a very tough matchup.
This team's very good against tight ends.
Bill's DST is top five right now.
Cleveland is, no wait, I have one more game.
It's not Cleveland Denver.
We already did that one, so hold on.
What's my last game?
It is Pittsburgh at Cincinnati.
There we go, sorry.
Pittsburgh, Cincinnati.
Okay, Pittsburgh's defense is good,
but are we hesitating at all with the big four on Cincinnati?
Okay, no we're not.
Not even, all top 12.
Are we hesitating at all on George Pickens?
No, he's not a top 10 receiver this week,
but he's still a must-star guy.
Any interest in Russell Wilson?
No.
I don't mind him in Superflex in two quarterback leagues.
This defense has given up a lot of points to quarterbacks
and you look at it, yes, he's not played,
he doesn't get good fantasy production the last two weeks,
but how much can we really factor in the game in the snow?
So if the matchup is as good as it has been
He should have a bounce back game here
You know what?
The weird thing is about him if you look at his pass attempts russell wilson of 20 or more air yards
The the games where he's been really good at that have not been the games or he's been good for fantasy last week
He had 135 yards and a touchdown on pass attempts of 30 or more air yards and he scored 15.8 points
So against the Jets he had 81 yards no touchdowns and he scored 29 points against the Jets or 28.9
So it hasn't necessarily correlated but I do have to mention like what scares me about Russell Wilson
I'm sure what scares you guys too
Is that they are putting Justin Fields in from time to time and you just don't want him coming off the field at the two
Yard line or something like that. That takes away a scoring opportunity.
It's just like you can't, it's so difficult to be good if you don't throw 30 times a game
and you don't run. Yeah.
It's a really simple methodology.
There is a chance. This is an interesting game because it's an intriguing game. It's
a rivalry. It's a division game.
And Steelers have been really good against,
they were good against the Ravens just a few weeks ago.
But no one's sitting the big four players on Cincinnati.
No one's starting Mike Kosicki.
I don't think you're starting Pat Fryermuth.
Although Fryermuth, Jamie, has a great matchup, right?
I mean, where did he end up in your rankings?
Just inside the top 20.
But there's just a glut of tight ends
that kind of fall into that group
of like 13 through 24.
Arthur Smith.
Here's a question.
I don't know if Washington has more targets
than Pat Bramwood since Russell Wilson
became the quarterback.
Pickens or McLaurin?
Pickens.
Oh no, I'm sorry, McLaurin.
I've got Pickens.
Okay, you should start both of them if you can,
but obviously you can't. And Najee Harris, Jalen start both of them if you can, but obviously you can't.
And Najee Harris, Jalen Warren.
I can tell the one that somebody said you're handsome.
They just do that to get the,
yeah, they know what they're doing.
I'm obviously they're right,
but Najee Harris and Jalen Warren we talked about earlier,
but we don't love them and that's it.
That's this game.
Steelers DST, Eagles,
I forgot to ask about the Eagles DST. Are you starting the
Eagles or Steelers DSTs this week?
I would prefer not to. I don't want to drop them. So it's just a matter of, you know,
what you're looking at for your team. But you know, you're talking about one team facing
Lamar Jackson and they score points on everybody and one team facing the Bengals and they score
points on everybody. So I just think it's not smart to start them
if you need a must win.
Well, thank you all.
And I hope you all have an amazing Thanksgiving,
great Thanksgiving, great Thursday watching football
with your family and your friends,
and good luck to you in week 14.
Dave, Jamie, and Heath will be back on Friday
with Starter Sit for only five more games.
And then I'll be back with the guys on Sunday
to get your lineup set for what should be a very fun
week 13 of Thomas Schaeffer, who's by the way,
working for unthink, or working tonight.
He could be home having Thanksgiving, but he's a trooper.
So we appreciate that.
For Schaeffer, for Heath, for Jamie, on Adam.
Have a good one everybody.
We'll talk to you on Friday.
