Starting point is 00:01:49 Can you only miss? No I can't. It's time to dominate your fantasy league. Off to the races and he stays at his feet. This is gonna go the distance. Now here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie and Heath. This is not how the fantasy championship week is supposed to be. Okay. We've already had three teams score six or fewer points in four games over the last five
Starting point is 00:02:18 weeks combined. Five teams scored six or fewer points. This is awful. And Dave is sick. It gave Dave a cold. I'm sorry, Dave. How are you? I think I'll be okay, Adam. I appreciate the concern.
Starting point is 00:02:34 I am sick from horrible football. What the hell is going on? You know, my dad, my dad grew up in Chicago. So he's a Bears fan. He lives in Texas now. He's a Texans fan. His two favorite teams combined for five points, two of which came from the defense. Oh man.
Starting point is 00:02:50 I think it just in the case of the Wednesday games and the Thursday games, this is an example of teams that just they can't get prepared. They can't get their act together on a very short week. This is bad for Baltimore and Kansas City. Yeah, well, those are teams that actually function well. And they both played on the road, so they deserve extra credit for that. But Seattle couldn't get their act together. They only scored six.
Starting point is 00:03:15 Chicago, three. Houston might as well have scored zero. And they were at home. Chicago was at home. These teams just like, at least New Orleans, back on Monday, remember Monday? at least New Orleans back on Monday remember Monday back on at least New Orleans has an excuse they played with like an XFL team but this is just horrible this is a terrible product that the NFL is giving us late in the year all these teams on three and four days rest well it didn't help that it was rainy as well and that could be a theme of the
Starting point is 00:03:43 weekend because it is going to rain in America this weekend especially the East Coast. But anyway we welcome you to Fantasy Football Today presented by BED-MGM the sports book born in Vegas. We're going to look ahead and be optimists here for Carolina Tampa Bay, Green Bay Minnesota, Atlanta Washington, Detroit San Francisco, Dallas Philadelphia with no CD- CD lamb and Las Vegas at New Orleans likely without Derek Carr and Alvin Camara. Those guys still not practicing. We do have some pretty interesting injury updates like the Giants injury updates with
Starting point is 00:04:15 Malik neighbors being a game time decision and Tyrone Tracy still not practicing. Of course, Tony Pollard missing practice once again. T Higgins questionable. We'll tell you what matters and what doesn't. Terry McLaurin, hopefully should be fine. He got in a limited session yesterday. The Packers wide receivers will update you on them. But just, I don't know if we have any other thoughts
Starting point is 00:04:36 on that game, six to three. The star of the game, I don't think anybody outscored DJ Moore, he had 12.2 PPR fantasy points. He was the best player in the game. I don't think anybody outscored DJ Moore. He had 12.2 PPR fantasy points. He was the best player in the game. He was better than the quarterbacks. He was better than Zach Charbonnet. It was awful. I guess I'll just ask that that big generic question like, Hey, Jamie, do you change your strategy if you had a bunch of duds go so far? I guess it depends on you know, you're clearly facing a great team because it's the championship. So you got to assume that the other team's roster is loaded. So, you know,
Starting point is 00:05:13 I guess in the case of player versus player, you know, if you're looking at somebody that has more upside, so let's say it's like a Jameson Williams versus a, I don't know, Khalil Shakir, Khalil Shakir. Yeah, you could, you can go that route if you want to, you know, if you're just, what the hell, you know, you've already, uh, you're already, you're mentally prepared for second place at this point, you know, with when you see something like this happen. Um, I know like in your case, Adam, you had multiple players go, right? So you had, Oh yeah. I've got, I've got Joe Mixon, Jackson Smith and Jigba and Kaimi Fairbairn for 11 points against Heath. I am a 32%
Starting point is 00:05:48 Yeah, right, so it's a good year in a situation like that, you know You you maybe throw out some Hail Marys and hope for the best I'm in one league where you know starting Charbonne and JSN screw you guys and that didn't help so I'm not gonna to change anything. So that was the league I mentioned yesterday where I'm stuck between Malik neighbors and Drake London and I'm probably going to pivot to London now because of the things I said I was concerned about London, not 100% healthy. Okay, well, neighbor's not healthy now. And
Starting point is 00:06:21 the Latimore situation, so Latimore not playing, um, or at least assuming he's not going to play. So those guys are back to back in my rankings. I'm going to flip it. I'm going to put London ahead of neighbors. I'm going to play on. So you know, that's not necessarily because I'm losing. That's because of circumstances.
Starting point is 00:06:37 So I think, you know, if you're, if you're, you know, quarterbacks, you have two on your, on your team, you know, and the one guy, you know, like again, I don't want to keep bringing up my things, but you know, this isn't because of a scoring situation but having the debate of Baker versus Darnold versus next, you know, so If if there's somebody you think has more upside on your bench Play the guy you think has more upside at this point not just you know, the guy that has the safer floor Oh, this is a great callback Dave to last week's joke. This is Johnny Airport says this is a ding-dong screw you week The whole game. Yeah the whole week so far dig dog screw you. All right
Starting point is 00:07:16 well, anyway, there are there are still plenty of decisions to be made and and You know and lineups to set set and so on and so forth. And we'll help you out on Sunday as well. Sunday morning, 1130 AM Eastern at youtube.com slash fantasy football today, where you can watch all of our programming, youtube.com slash fantasy football today. And our programming is not going anywhere.
Starting point is 00:07:37 After week 18, we'll still have three episodes per week. We'll be with you throughout the whole year. We're no days off. We're a Belichickian podcast. News and notes. All right, so Anthony Richardson. Belichick take a whole year off? Not by, not on his own volition.
Starting point is 00:07:55 Anthony Richardson, foot and back issues, has not practiced and the Colts are optimistic he will play. And then you've got the Flacco effect and what he could be, or at least what he could mean for Downs and Pittman. Dave, what's your read on this situation here at Colts at Giants Sunday? As long as there's optimism that Richardson will play,
Starting point is 00:08:17 I'm not worrying about Flacco. The concern now is, are they just gonna have Richardson hand off and maybe throw more than 15 passes, maybe throws 20 passes, weather pending score pending all that stuff. But I'd like to see him practice on Friday. I'd like to call him a good start. But this does make me nervous going into the weekend.
Starting point is 00:08:40 Okay. I dropped a few spots in the rankings. Behind? Purdy. Okay, that's Anthony Richardson. Jalen Hurts, it looks all signs are pointing to Kenny Pickett. I believe eight of his first 10 pass attempts went to AJ Brown. We'll talk about that game. Derek Carr probably not going to play still and Dorian Thompson Robinson will start. So the running back news, Alvin Kamara mispracticed, hasn't been ruled out, but he mispractice Isaac Garendo practice. When are you guys going to rank Garendo? What will what will it take?
Starting point is 00:09:12 He was limited yesterday, so we usually wait till full practice. Um, I hope he gets into full practice on Friday. But the first thing I you know, I get the transcript for the 49ers. First thing I looked for was what he said about Garendo, Khao Shan Han. And when he said limited, I was like, oh man, sounds like he's turning in the right direction. Ramandre Stevenson could get benched. I almost said Antonio Pierce, Gerard Mayo, pardon me. He did not rule that out.
Starting point is 00:09:39 So I think you should probably not start Ramandre Stevenson on Saturday. Denver running backs, they're like all healthy. I already talked about that yesterday. We don't want to start them. Oh, Gus Edwards. Okay, this is the big one. Gus Edwards out with the ankle injury. JK Dobbins limited. And they've got a great matchup against the Patriots. Dave, what are we thinking about the Chargers running backs right now? Dave Korsunsky You have to make sure that Dobbins gets activated off of IR, but once he does, you've got a good running back with fresh legs coming back to a favorable matchup with a team that's desperate
Starting point is 00:10:12 to get their run game going. I would actually be somewhat excited to start J.K. Dobbins. It would be with number two RB expectations. I feel like his ceiling could be 15 or 16 PPR points, but I still think he's going to end up getting a good amount of work against a bad Patriots run defense. I'd start him. And just if you, you know, we've said this a lot, like, you know, I would have told anybody this yesterday. I know Dave was saying the same thing, you know, drop the Ken walkers of the world, the guys that aren't playing this weekend on your roster and pick up Kamani Vidal.
Starting point is 00:10:45 There's no guarantee that Dobbins is going to get activated. It seems like that's going to happen. What if they get to Saturday and, hey, my knee's still not great and Edward is now out? It could be one of these Hail Marys that you might have to play. I picked up Vidal in a few weeks. Sure. If you pick up Vidal, let's say you pick up Vidal on Friday, like pause the podcast right now,
Starting point is 00:11:08 go pick up Vidal and then come back to the podcast. If Dobbins is active, you'll cut Vidal pregame for somebody else. Yeah, he's 32% rostered, Kamani Vidal, I believe it is Vidal. And if he started and Dobbins were out, and Hassan Haskins is another guy that would be in the mix, but if Dobbins-
Starting point is 00:11:29 He barely plays. Even when other guys are out, he barely plays. But we've never seen them without Gus and Dobbins, have we? No. That's fair. Videl would be- He did have their second most explosive play from the backfield since Dobbins was out last week.
Starting point is 00:11:44 Would you start Videl if Dobbins were out or a Raiders running back against the Saints? I'd still start a Raiders running back But like it you know when you're talking about like Michael Carter if he starts when you're talking about by Dow if he starts No, these are high-end flexes, you know, so again depends on what you're looking at but you know if you're Scrambling for running backs at this point, and several people are, it wouldn't surprise me if he's better than the Raiders running backs.
Starting point is 00:12:09 It's just, we haven't seen much from him production-wise. And where are we right now on the Cardinals running backs? You just mentioned Michael Carter, but we've got questionable tags for Trey Benson and James Connor. And I saw Dr. Chow talking about James Connor kind of favoring his knee in the video they showed from practice. So how are we feeling about those guys on Saturday against the Rams?
Starting point is 00:12:34 They were both limited in practice, so we don't really have a good idea of what the status is for either one. You know, you have one that left the game and one that didn't play last week. So it's going to be up until game time. You know, you have one that left the game and one that didn't play last week. So it's going to be up until game time. You know, the nice thing about it is, you know, Saturday game, so you still have the opportunity to make some some calls. But if you have, you know, the early games on Saturday, you know, so Dobbins versus these guys, if he plays, you know, I would probably play safe and go Dobbins unless we
Starting point is 00:12:57 get word tomorrow. You know, hopefully, it's one of those situations where we get the, you know, insider reports overnight or early in the day that know what the status is. So just stay tuned. OK. I am seeing on Twitter from Jared Smola, who is a fantasy analyst on Draft Sharks, that Albert Breyer said James Connor is expected to play
Starting point is 00:13:19 and Trey Benson is up in the air. But if Connor plays, are you just all in on Connor, full gut, like normal? I mean, same thing. I don't know how they feels, but for me all week, you know, in that, you know, early teens, you know, so the questionable guys with Reese Hall and, you know, where Joe Mixon was ranked, you know,
Starting point is 00:13:37 I'm a little concerned just because very much, a lot of issues on the offensive line for the Cardinals right now. Rams are on defense, has played a little bit better lately, some of it's the opponents. It's not a top 10 James Connor. It's a number two start James Connor, but still a little concerned. He would be no higher than 16th in my running back rankings. He would definitely be behind Aaron Jones, Chuba Hubbard, James Cook, all the guys that
Starting point is 00:14:02 are like slam dunk must starts, they're gonna be ahead of James Connor. Okay, and then two more running back notes, Tyrone Tracy missing practice again, and Tony Pollard missing practice, which I don't expect. How about picking up Devin Singletary in the event that Tyrone Tracy misses the game? That might be the better pickup than Kamani Vidal. Oh yeah, we've been saying that all week.
Starting point is 00:14:22 Okay, yeah, and obviously Tai-Jay Spears would be the best, but Tony Pollard, this happens all the time, he doesn't saying that all week. Okay. Yeah. And obviously Tai-J Spears would be the best, but Tony Pollard, this happens all the time. He doesn't practice at any place. Wide receiver, CD Lamb out for the season. We're going to talk about that game in a bit. Jalen Tolbert has a finger injury as well. Maybe Brandon Cooks is someone that you could help you in a pinch.
Starting point is 00:14:39 T Higgins is questionable. Would you guys expect Higgins to play, right? As of now, yeah. Jalen Wadell has practiced. See if he plays. AJ Brown has a knee issue. We expect him to play, but we gotta keep an eye on that. Christian Watson has not practiced,
Starting point is 00:14:54 but he still has not been ruled out. Alec Pierce is trending in the right direction. Same with Cedric Tillman. And then there's Malik Nabors. Game time decision. Is there any interest in Darius Slayton who's- No. Or Wanda Robinson.
Starting point is 00:15:09 No. Okay. If you're the desperate CD-Land manager, then these are guys you should consider if Neighbors is out, but there are better options. There have to be. We'll get to some today. I mean, you say that, but Slayton is actually
Starting point is 00:15:22 a kind of a beast whenever, like earlier this year- He's a beast with a better team around him. I mean, Neighb that, but Slayton is actually a kind of a beast whenever, like earlier this year. He's a beast with a better team around him. I mean, Neighbors hasn't exactly been a beast. He's been good, you know? So I don't know how many people want to trust Darryl Slayton. But again, you know, when you're talking about trusting Darryl Slayton or trusting Brandon Cooks against the Eagles, you know, like that's not far off, you know? I mean, yeah, I've been saying since Tuesday, Zacchaeus, you know, it's not like he's a slam dunk. I I will say if if there is no Christian Watson Don Tavian Wicks is my favorite to go pick up if you can get Jalen
Starting point is 00:15:50 McMillan, you know So you are talking about some guys that could be available but they're all desperation place and that's where they're just started That's which start a Packers receiver or Slayton if there's no neighbors. I Would start Packers here, but we're talking about waiver guys, you know, so if Wix is the only one that's most likely available, so I would start Wix. Well, you know, in those leagues that are fairly shallow, Romeo Dobbs is 65% rostered. Yeah, well, if we're talking about that, then just get McMillan if we're going to go that route.
Starting point is 00:16:19 Fair. But let's say, would you rather have Dobbs and Wicks? I would trust Dobbs more than Wicks. I would not be surprised if Wicks is better because Wicks gets more targets whenever Christian Watson's out. Yes, he does. I think they're all going to get a decent amount of targets this week. All right. And we've got other wide receiver like Drake London seems like he's going to play. Terry McLaurin got in a limited practice. He should be good. Chris Olave is practicing in full, MVS is limited. And Devonte Adams has not practiced yet.
Starting point is 00:16:49 This one, we do have to keep an eye on this one. Devonte Adams, two straight missed practices. Hopefully he can get out there on Friday. Still no David Njoku, still no Kate Otten. And we got Rams left tackle Rob Havenstein questionable. And I'm gonna end it there. If you have not signed up for bet MGM yet, let's go man, let's do it.
Starting point is 00:17:12 Use the bonus code fantasy. You're gonna get up to a $1,500 first bet offer on your first wager with bet MGM. So here's how it works. Just download the bet MGM app, sign up using the bonus code fantasy, deposit at least $10 and place your first wager on any game, and you're going to receive up to $1,500 in bonus
Starting point is 00:17:31 bets if your bet loses. It's quite an offer. Just make sure you use the bonus code fantasy when you sign up. It's one question for each game. Six games to talk about today. Carolina's at Tampa Bay. All right. Are we going to get another good game from Jalen McMillan?
Starting point is 00:17:49 I think so. I mean, you know, it's it. I know what you're going to go back to when we talk about this is the last time he had a bad game was against Carolina and Baker was bad in that game. Kate Otton is still banged up. We don't know if he's going to play or not. And you've just seen Baker get back to being Baker again since McMillan has emerged the last three weeks You know, it's kind of what he was doing when he had a healthy Chris Godwin
Starting point is 00:18:11 You know, he's got two guys that he can rely on now the other side of this is they could run all over the Panthers and The passing game is a little bit You know not as explosive, but I do think that this has a chance to be a back-and-forth game I mean the Panthers have done a good job moving the ball lately Bryce Young has looked like a you know legitimate NFL quarterback over the last six weeks and hopefully he comes to play and and the Panthers often shows up and We get a hopeful shoot out here. So I do like McMillan as in that group of guys, you know wide receiver 20 to 30
Starting point is 00:18:41 You know, so I would call him in most weeks a number two receiver, you know, so number three receiver by rankings. I think he's a potential starter across the board. And he's got that upside that you might be looking for. If you're, if you started somebody who's a dud or you're going up against Eric Henry or Lamar Jackson, you need somebody that might be able to catch a 40 yard touchdown. He's got that kind of upside. He's got that Jameson Williams upside.
Starting point is 00:19:06 Jaylin McMillan has six to seven targets in three straight games. There have been six wide receivers with six to seven targets against the Panthers this year. And they have ranged anywhere from 2.3 fantasy points to 20.2 and all in the middle. So nothing conclusive there. And I personally would start McMillan over guys
Starting point is 00:19:23 like Joe Mixon, Jackson Smith and Jig, but over Kenan Allen. Oh, it's a really good call. Hopefully. You know what? I started over Nico Collins, Green Bay at Minnesota. I honestly think one of the most difficult questions this week is how to project Green Bay's passing game and what to do with their wide receivers. So we just sort of mentioned it earlier. But Dave, would you start any Packers wide receivers this week against the Vikings? Not with supreme confidence. I do think that there's going to be an uptick in targets for all of the receivers and tight end that play for the Packers. But this is still a team
Starting point is 00:20:02 that's going to spread the ball around. And we don't know for sure if anybody's gonna even be able to hit that seven eight. Target range of minnesota's been better against slot receivers than outside receivers over their past five games so maybe that helps jobs maybe that helps wicks maybe that hurts jayden reed but we've seen we've seen read come through with touchdowns just from cool plays that they designed for them. I do think this has a potential to be a fairly high scoring game. So these are receivers that I would look at in that flex range. I would rank them Dobbs, Reed, Wicks as of now, none of them are top 24. I don't even know if any of them are top 30.
Starting point is 00:20:40 They're not for me. They're not. But if you're, I would be nervous to start any of them as high upside plays. Again, talking about situations where you need to play from behind in fantasy. You're up against somebody who started the Seahawks DST and they got you a ton of points and you need to catch up. I don't think there's any receiver here that I would go with, with that hope that they've got huge upside to get you a 20 point game.
Starting point is 00:21:05 All right. Atlanta's at Washington, Jamie rank these three players, Drake London, Darnell Mooney, Brian Robinson Jr. Let's say it's half PPR. Half PPR I'd go London Robinson Mooney. Full PPR? London Mooney Robinson. I would take that order in half PPR too. I might even take it in non-PPR.
Starting point is 00:21:26 I like what I saw from Michael Pennex last week, and I think he's going to have to throw more this week. Mooney was the guy that he had good timing with on downfield routes, a couple of outrouts that those two connected on. I'm kind of encouraged by what these Falcons receivers can do with Pennex. They honestly should have moved to Kirk Cousins like three, four weeks ago, or moved away from Cousins, I should say,
Starting point is 00:21:48 three or four weeks ago. All right, let's go to Detroit at San Francisco. Rank these three players, Jamison Williams, Debo Samuel, and Isaac Garendo, assuming he plays. A half PPR, I'm assuming. Sure. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:08 Okay. I will go with Garendo Jamison Debo. I'll go Jamison Garendo Debo. And Dallas at Philadelphia. Can you trust AJ Brown and or Devante Smith? Trust is an interesting word when you're talking about Kenny Pickett, who's less than 100% playing against what has turned out to be a better Dallas defense as you've noted time and time again since Michael Parsons has come back.
Starting point is 00:22:37 So they are enjoying playing the role of spoiler. And I'm sure they would love to go into Philadelphia and wreck some havoc there against the backup quarterback. So I'm still starting AJ Brown. I find it hard to get away. Like what I saw last week was basically what we saw from CD Lamb without Dak Prescott. Got fed, still produced. You could trust that. I don't think Kenny Pickett is a complete disaster.
Starting point is 00:23:01 He's bad, but he's not a complete disaster. Devontae Smith is a little bit tougher, you know, because you saw six for 51, so the catches were there. Yards were not, had a huge drop. You know, so how much does that play into the mind of everybody? I doubt it, but you never know. So he'd be the one I'd be more concerned about.
Starting point is 00:23:18 Okay, would you start Devante Smith or Jamison Williams, Debo Samuel? I would start those guys over him, yeah. I'd start Jamo over Devante Smith or the Jameson Williams, Debo Samuel. I would start those guys over him. Yeah, I'd start Jamo over Devante. I wouldn't start Debo over Devante. The thing about the that match, like that matchup could be fantastic for the 49ers offense just because Detroit's defense is so beat up right now. I'm kind of feeling Debo.
Starting point is 00:23:40 I had a gut feeling about him last week. I wish I had been had more conviction. It was obvious two weeks ago, that horrible rain game against the Rams that they were trying to get Debo involved. And he's got five carries in two of his last three games. Now, Garendo comes back, I think that that might change. Right. That could change the whole tenor of the offense.
Starting point is 00:23:58 Like now they're going to have confidence to run the ball last week. They didn't. That's why there were so many screens and short throws. I don't think they can run the ball, not the same way. You know, and they're going to probably be chasing points here based on how the Detroit offense operates. All right. And finally, Las Vegas is at New Orleans. Which Raiders running back do you prefer? Abdullah. Certainly in PPR, it's got to be Abdullah. They had very similar, didn't they have the same amount of catches or within one catch or something? They split third down work, you know,
Starting point is 00:24:29 and gosh, just Madison is just so not good, but yeah, all right. I'm agonizing over this personal, this one personally. I just, I don't know, but all right, you guys are saying Abdullah. Abdullah is the answer. We're gonna take a break here, talk about a very important topic
Starting point is 00:24:47 and then get into the games when we come back on Fantasy Football today. 70,000 people are here and Bob Dylan is the reason for it. Inspired by the true story. If anyone is gonna hold your attention on the stage, you have to kind of be a freak. Are you a freak? Hope so.
Starting point is 00:25:03 And starring Timothy Chalamet as Bob Dylan, He defied everyone. Turn it down! Play it loud. To change everything. Make some noise, BD. Timothy Chalamet, Edward Norton, El Fanny, Monica Barbaro, a complete unknown, only theaters Christmas day.

It's the weather. Let's talk about the weather here guys and how you are approaching it because it looks like it's going to be a rainy, rainy weekend. Looking at our guy, Kevin Roth, not our guy, but we love him.
Starting point is 00:26:16 Roto Grinders. The three games that he has flagged as orange are Jets at Bills, Dolph dolphins at Browns, and Falcons at commanders. So those are the rainiest ones it seems. You've got a lot of games that are yellow, but you know, obviously red would be the worst, but it's like green then yellow, then orange, then red.
Starting point is 00:26:39 So I think you guys can understand the system there. But how are you Dave approaching the weather this weekend and your rankings? I think when it comes to the games with heavy rain, you've got to figure that the quarterbacks could scale back a little bit. The DST is could be a little bit better don't want to trust the kickers very much. But I also know that forecast change and just because there's rain in the forecast now doesn't
Starting point is 00:27:01 necessarily mean that there's going to be rain in the forecast come Sunday. And these are all Sunday games, correct? Yeah, but the Saturday games Denver Cincinnati, Denver Cincinnati is also one that could be rainy. Right. So the closer we get to the game, the more likely the forecast will be accurate. I would probably have a backup plan in mind for anybody that you're nervous about because of heavy rain in any of these games. Not that you're going to sit Josh Allen, but who's somebody that you could sit in the Jets bills game that you'd be nervous about going with like
Starting point is 00:27:35 Shakir. We already kind of identified him as someone who's got the safe floor, not necessarily the high ceiling. Does this floor go even lower? Because the Bills could be tempted to run a little bit more. I mean, Garrett Wilson's been struggling, which, you know, do you? You could potentially get away from him, although I don't think the rain will stop Aaron Rogers
Starting point is 00:27:55 from throwing the ball over the place. Yeah, it's tough. You know, it's tough. Rain is not usually something unless it's torrential that that I fear. I don't I think the game last night, do you really think the rain had a sizable impact in that game? No, because it was only really pouring for a little bit. But I will tell you the two Thursdays ago that Rams 49ers game. Yeah, it did. And I don't think there's
Starting point is 00:28:19 a track record with Purdy. There's a track record with Purdy in bad weather, you know, so that's just something to keep in mind in mind moving forward, I think with him. Yeah, well, what's Tua going to do? You trust Tua in a rainstorm? Right, that's a great, great, but I didn't want to trust Tua anyway to be getting examples. But Tyree killed. Yeah, yeah, that's fair. Ah, I hate this is my, what I really don't like about the fantasy playoffs is just- That's why there should be domes everywhere. What I really don't like about the fantasy playoffs is just that's why there should be domes everywhere. You've been to a football game in a dome. Yes, it's so lame. It's just like I should be retractable. It should be retractable roots for every day. Yeah. All right. Carolina's a Tampa Bay. So Jamie's hoping for a nice back and forth game here,
Starting point is 00:28:59 thinking it probably will be a nice back and forth game. The Panthers, they scored 23 points in the first meeting. So yeah, we'd like that. We'd like for a lot of offense in this game. But here's a stat for you. So running backs are averaging 3.3 yards per carry against the Bucks in their last six games. That is the best in the NFL. They've also seen the fewest running back carries
Starting point is 00:29:22 in that stretch. They have had a bye, but only 86 running back carries in their last. They have had a buy, but only 86 running back carries in their last six games. And they've allowed just two rushing touchdowns to running backs. They held Christian McCaffrey to 39 rushing yards. Tyrone Tracy to 42. Chuba Hubbard scored four point three fantasy points in the first matchup. Rico Dowdle was horrible last week. Anybody fearing Chuba Hubbard off of that huge game last week? So he's right before the group for me, I keep talking about, you know, so the
Starting point is 00:29:51 mid teen group. I think you got to hope for his role in the passing game to be good. You got to hope that he can, you know, still get all of the touches, which has generally been the case since Brooks's injury. That was Brooks was still healthy that time, right? Yes. Yes, he was. So I think that was a game he got hurt or in the guy or the next game. There isn't in that range anyway. He played. Um, I, I just think, you know, at, at this point of season, you know, like we said about mixing, like we say about some of these other guys, you know, you're, you're buying into workload by comparison necessarily to a questionable matchup, you know, so as much as maybe Jerome Ford situation,
Starting point is 00:30:25 which I don't think is better because the matchup is equally tough, they're very similar to me. You know, they're gonna get a lot of work. They're gonna hopefully get involved in a passing game. You know, you're taking on a tough defense. You just gotta buy into what Chubo Hubbard has been all season.
Starting point is 00:30:38 So it's not gonna be easy, but he still has the potential to four catches and still score at the goal line. He's done well in some tough matchups. I mean, it's not like he's been, oh my God, every bad game, every tough matchup, he struggled. That hasn't been the case. So I think he's just the number two running back. You're not joking about Ford having a matchup almost as tough.
Starting point is 00:30:57 The Dolphins have seen 15.7 running back rushes in their last seven games. That second low is two of the Bucks, which are at 14.7 running back rushes That's second loads to the bucks which are at 14.3 both of them have a great rate of 10 plus yard run Runs allowed against them. So trying to figure out how to say that easy very explosive rush rate against them I Think that this is definitely a tough spot for both the running backs But you've got to trust the workload for both of these running backs. And that's why they're top 15 ish type guys. That's just how I would roll with. Which running backs are you talking about?
Starting point is 00:31:32 You're talking about Hubbard and Ford? From Ford. I would rather start Chuba than Ford. Obviously you'd rather start Bucky Irving than Chuba, right? Yes. And what about Rashad White? You need 10 PPR points, 11 PPR points. He's your guy.
Starting point is 00:31:48 OK, talked about this on Wednesday show. I think you look at the three carries that he had last week. If they're not trailing in this game like they were at Dallas, there's a low floor there for Rashad White. However, he does seem to have a decent game every single time.
Starting point is 00:32:03 And by the way, the the fumble has been brought up multiple times this week. Both Bowles and Cohen addressed it with the media and would not surprise me. But here and gets a few more touches, which would be awesome. Who's your second favorite wide receiver in this game behind Mike Evans? Feel. I'm a feeling. Okay, and you like McMillan, but you must like Feelin' quite a bit then.
Starting point is 00:32:28 Yeah, they're not far off. They're not far off, but I think again, Feelin' went nuclear against the Bucs the last time these two teams met. He's been very consistent in his last month. He did have the 10.1 game, you know, which is the somewhat outlier, but he still had seven targets in that game.
Starting point is 00:32:43 So you know this is a guy Bryce Young is leaning on. There is a chance of them having to chase points. But he had popped up on the injury report this week. So just keep that in mind for an older player that had hamstring injury earlier this year that knocked him out for four weeks or four plus weeks. Excuse me. So we get to game time. He may not play. Just keep that in mind when we were looking at this. So absolutely double check his status on Friday. I'm looking to see how many targets to receivers Tampa Bay has seen over their last six games. It's 123. So about 20 targets per game to wide receivers in those last six.
Starting point is 00:33:18 So remember they're not seeing a lot of running back runs, but they're seeing a lot of targets to wide receivers. I don't see a game script where Adam Thielen isn't involved. And that's what encouraged me to make him like a number two wide receiver in full PPR. And Bryce young, he was our top waiver wire pickup amongst the guys who are widely available, but he's only quarterback 20 basically in the rankings. So I guess the established veterans, the Stafford's and the Rogers of the world
Starting point is 00:33:44 will be ahead of Bryce young. Um. There's no other wide receiver. We're not going to start like Jalen Coker or anything like that. So we go over to the box. Well, I mean, if Thielen is out, then Coker's got a chance. And look, you know, Coker's come back for the last two games after being banged. I think it was shoulder or knee injury, one of the two. One great game and one dud. Yeah. So someone's asking if Jalen Coker's a decent dart throw, my wide receivers are wrecked. So I had to do a hit for HQ about replacing C.D. Lamb. This is one of the guys I mentioned, you know, for deeper leagues, just because again, you're
Starting point is 00:34:15 talking about matchup and the matchup is great. And we've seen him have a big game and he makes a big play against two games ago, you know, for Bryce Young. So there's a there's a chance here. But clearly, I think you look at it as stealing and then skip a big play against two games ago, you know, for Bryce Young. So there's a there's a chance here. But clearly, I think you look at it as Thielen and then skip a few. And look, we've seen David Moore sport touched on last week. You know, he's had some good moments for the Panthers as well. So there's no guarantee it's going to be Coker all of a sudden being a stud.
Starting point is 00:34:36 But he definitely would be somebody to consider if Thielen is out. Is Leagate for sure out? No, no. But he's banged up. Before he got hurt, he had back-to-back games with eight targets. I think David Moore did that once, and I don't think Coker's done that at all this year. Back-to-back games with eight targets for the Panthers. Yeah, I know. I think Leagate might play. He started the week as a full participant, or he's listed that way. Then he was limited. So that's something to keep in mind. So I, we got to move on from, from this. Yeah, he did have, he did bring in raccoon in like to eat in the locker room. It was weird.
Starting point is 00:35:16 Would you go with Brandon Cooks or, or Jalen Coker? If Thielen is out. No, if Thielen's in. If Thielen is in, I would go with Cooks. Okay. I might go with Cooks even if Thielen is out. No, if Thielen is in, I would go with Cooks. I might go with Cooks even if Thielen's out. All right. And then Mayfield's a top five quarterback. He was bad against them last time, but he's been pretty damn good even in games where he had like 36 points with 27 pass attempts against the Chargers, 25 points on 29 pass attempts against the Raiders. So even when he's not throwing a lot
Starting point is 00:35:45 after that Carolina game, he had two huge games. And his last two games he's been running. Yep, yep, there's that start Bucky Irving, Rashad White is as Dave said about 11 PPR fantasy points, start Evans. McMillan is a number two receiver. Heath is lower, no, he's number three receiver, sorry. Heath has him at 41, you guys have him at 28. But McMillan. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:36:05 we talked about him earlier in one question for each game and we're not expecting Kate Otten and that is it for Buccaneers and Panthers. Let's go. Oh, I did see a question in here. Adam feeling versus Debo, Samuel and Jameson Williams. What would you guys do? Maybe it's healthy feeling gets the nod. Okay. All right. Let's go to green Bay and Minnesota green base. Defense has been pretty good. They've allowed more than 19 points only once in their last six games since their buy. It was a game against Detroit, but we still expect Minnesota scores points. They're very good offense here. All right. Over under 30, 31 and a half pass attempts for Jordan love. Is that what the line is? No, that's my line.
Starting point is 00:36:46 I'll take the over. I'll take the under. If you're taking the over there, that's big. Like that is, then Jordan Love's. I'm hoping for a shootout. I'm hoping that the run defense from Minnesota shows up and Josh Jacobs does his work in the passing game and that we have to see Jordan love throw you know so the last
Starting point is 00:37:07 was six games in a row he's been 28 past attempts or less and the last time these two teams met he threw it over 50 times you know so granted it's a different Jordan love he was banged up then he's been you know very efficient lately this offense has been running through Josh Jacobs it's not easy to do that against the Vikings so the hope would be is Minnesota comes out, punches them in the mouth and we get a shootout. And if that's the case, then I think you see all these Packers receiving options, Tucker Kraft included in play. If not, and the run game is working for the Packers, then we have another week of can't trust any of these guys, hoping one of them finds the end zone. And
Starting point is 00:37:43 it's just a difficult situation across the board. So I'm hopeful that that's what happens for the Packers I don't have a rank that way because you have to go based on what the trends have been but that's what I'm hoping for I'm hoping that we get these guys in a back and forth Let's have a high scoring game in a dome where there's no weather issues and two offenses that have the ability to put up a lot of points if Green Bay's defense comes to play that will obviously hurt Minnesota and keep them from putting up a ton of points on the board. That means that Jordan Love wouldn't have to throw a lot.
Starting point is 00:38:09 If the opposite comes true, then yeah, Jordan Love is going to throw a lot. Right now, the line at BetMGM is 32 and a half, Adam. I saw that. I was just looking at that. That is weird. You were very close, but it's plus it's even money. So you have to pay a little bit more juice to take the under. So you got to pay a little bit of a penalty if you want to take the under on that, but there there's potential. Uh, I'm, I'm curious.
Starting point is 00:38:30 It, the game script for the last time these two teams played, Minnesota just did come out and punch them in the mouth. And so that makes me a little bit nervous that the exact same thing won't happen because usually you don't see the same game script between division rivals when they play the second time. Uh, I like love. It's like a top 15 quarterback. You don't see the same game script between division rivals when they play the second time. I Like love it's like a top 15 quarterback. I'm gonna have a hard time putting them into my top 12 This yeah, this isn't again a lot of this is going to happen. This is more hope, you know So you're looking at a Packers defense. Can you list some of the opponents that they played during this stretch? Yeah
Starting point is 00:39:01 Well, they placed the Saints I mean, geez, they faced the Bears, the 49ers with Brandon Allen, the Dolphins, the Seahawks, and the Saints, and the Lions. The Lions scored 34 points, I think. So I know, look, the fact that the total for the pass attempts prop is 32 and a half. All I'm saying is if Jordan Love really throws 33
Starting point is 00:39:23 or more passes, then I think we're going to have a lot of good fantasy production on our benches, on our bench, right? Because I know you can't trust it and it's tough. And I'll give you a discouraging note here is that Detroit game, they lost 34-31. It was an indoor game. I'm not talking about the rain game in Green Bay. I'm talking about the indoor game in Detroit. They lost 34-31. They only had the ball for like 25 minutes or something, but their pass rate was really low. Even in that game, they just didn't throw 20 times. 20. Yeah. I know they're right. So that's the discouraging thing. They want to just pound the rock. But that was
Starting point is 00:39:55 the game after Jacksonville, right? For who? For Detroit? No. No, that was the first Detroit game. Detroit played Chicago. No, no, no, I got this. You're talking about Jordan Love left the Jacksonville game, then he played Detroit. That was the rain game. It was four weeks later. That was the last time he threw over 30 times too,
Starting point is 00:40:17 was that Detroit game. That Detroit game. In Green Bay. Right. So yeah, I mean, it's tough because I'm sure we all have some Packers receivers and like, I kind of want to get them in. But if you had to pick one, it would be who? Reid. Dobbs.
Starting point is 00:40:33 And if Watson plays... If Watson's out, I would go Reid, Wicks, Dobbs. All right. Look, if you are stuck with them, I will just leave you with that optimism that there is a chance that they're going to have a good game and Tucker Kraft, by the way, in two games that Christian Watson missed or with the first game he left like super early and then he missed Tucker Kraft was really good in both games. So who would you start Tucker Kraft or Chigo Conquo? Craft. After non PPR for sure. Probably craft and half PPR. I mean, she just hasn't found the end zone, you know, so that's been Kraft's calling card. So is Harrison Smith practicing? Because he missed last week. Yes, he's gonna, I think he's gonna play and Ivan Pace or Linebacker is gonna play too.
Starting point is 00:41:12 Yeah, that's big. They're both, I think they're both practicing in full. So starters, it's Sam Darnold. By the way, sorry, I know you're gonna say start. I was surprised, I did not know the Packers are giving up the fewest fantasy points the quarterbacks. It's like, well, is that weighted by who they've played? Look at the guys that you listed. Yeah. Yeah. But it, and like he, he beat them up pretty good the first time. Uh, he scored 30, he scored 26.5 points. So start, start Donald, right? Yep. Okay. I've got him seventh. I have him ahead of Bo Nix, Purdy, Richardson, Love, those guys. And Aaron Jones is at the end of the group where you just started. I mean, you could
Starting point is 00:41:55 have better options, like obviously Zach Charbonne. But he's before the question marks, right, Aaron Jones? Yep. Right. So he's the head of Chubahubber, Dobbins, Jerome Ford, Bruce Hall. You like Jordan Addison this week? Yep, sure. All right. Yeah, Jordan Addison, Justin Jefferson are obviously Jefferson's the man. Jordan Addison is a top 16 wide receiver for everyone. So I know you were really rooting for Jair Alexander to come back. It was a big, you know, big input for you. He's not going to play. He's not coming back. TJ Hawkinson is a sit though. Chig over to over Hawkinson, right? Correct. Yes.
Starting point is 00:42:32 Okay. That is correct. All right. And the Minnesota DST is outside the top 12. So to sum it up, the Vikings are pretty easy. You're starting your Vikings, you're starting Josh Jacobs, and then, and then you're, you know, we just started craft. Tucker craft is a start. Yeah, and then the receivers are taking a chance on in greenback. It's a great DFS play for the Packers. Great call.
Starting point is 00:42:57 Well, Wicks is the one who's the best DFS play. He's probably gonna be pretty cheap, but he just never catches the ball. He's such a dropper. He's a big play guy. He's, he's what Christian Watson was to start the year. Yeah. Yeah. It's a question.
Starting point is 00:43:14 Watson is his target per outrun rate when Christian Watson's not on the field is, is ridiculous. Uh, all right. Atlanta is at Washington. So we're going to keep an eye on Washington. Can they get to the quarterback? Because Michael Pennex is not the most mobile guy. That was sort of the knock on him.
Starting point is 00:43:29 Yeah, but compared to Kirk Cousins, he's Michael Vick. Yeah. In their last three games, the commanders are fourth best in pressure rate. Before that, they were not so good, but they've been hot lately. See if they can get after Pennex. And the Falcons offensive line's been pretty good
Starting point is 00:43:46 in terms of limiting pressure. So anyway, no one's starting Pennex, but obviously we need him to be good for London and Mooney, or we need him to be competent. Start Bijan. Go ahead. He's also a very good DFS play. Okay.
Starting point is 00:44:02 And all right. You know what, I have a question for you. Why is there such a big difference in your rankings for London and Mooney? So London for you guys is around 20th. He's actually 11th for Heath. Mooney is 31st for Jamie or 30th for Jamie, 35th for Dave, 41st for Heath. Why the big gap there, Jamie, between London and Mooney? I mean, you know, Dave said it earlier that Mooney had a good game with Pennix last week, but we still saw what we saw with cousins was the targets were still in favor of London before he had the hamstring injury. So I think just based on how this
Starting point is 00:44:38 game should go, if they're in a back and forth game, because the commander's offense will hopefully move the ball that both these guys have an opportunity to make plays. While Mooney has had more receiving yards than London, I think that's still the case, he's still more of a big play threat than a guy that will get fed as much. I like both. Again, I think if you look at 12-24- 36, you throw that out with receivers. So Mooney's a borderline number two receiver and London is a basically borderline number one receiver.
Starting point is 00:45:11 So hopefully he's healthy. I actually don't like that I've got them 15 spots apart. I want them closer together. I'm gonna make them closer together, not back to back and London will still be ahead. But I think they should be, I think Mooney would be better than a low end number three. They sit next to each other on the plane.
Starting point is 00:45:29 Only when they go to the East Coast. I remember this could be one of those big rain games. So you got to keep that in mind as well. Would you start the Drake London? You would start London over McMillan. Would you start Mooney or McMillan? I think I asked you that earlier, but go for it again. Macmillan.
Starting point is 00:45:46 As of now, Macmillan. And I think the only way that would change is if Thielen's out and I just lose confidence that Carolina will be able to keep up there under the bargain in their game against Tampa. By the way, Marshawn Latimore has not been practicing for Washington. He did. I was wrong. I said I didn't think that he shadowed AJ Brown. He did shadow AJ Brown. Not very successfully in the first half and then got better throughout the game. But he's I mean, he mugged him the entire game. It was passenger fairs, either called or not called that
Starting point is 00:46:14 should have been called. Yeah, it started out really bad for him, at least he was able to recover. Sit Kyle Pitts, start Jayden Daniels. He's top five. He's third for Dave and Jamie should have a big game. Brian Robinson Jr. is in that question mark group. He's top five. He's third for Dave and Jamie. Should have a big game. Brian Robinson Jr is in that question mark group. He's a tough call. Raiders running back or Brian Robinson Jr. Robinson. So one thing about this matchup, which is interesting, Falcons allow the most receptions to running backs. And what we've seen from Robinson in the last two weeks is three targets in each
Starting point is 00:46:41 game. So if he gets three targets, I think that's good enough. He's caught five of the six targets that he's been throwing the last two weeks is three targets in each game. So if he gets three targets, I think that's good enough. He's caught five of the six targets that he's been throwing the last two weeks. Now does that tick up a little bit because of the matchup and how teams just throw to that position all over the place? I think they've allowed 87 receptions to the position on the year. Um, I don't know. I probably don't, I probably wouldn't expect it, you know, because we've seen him now three games without Austin Echler and it's not like he's been hugely involved in the past game. The Titans game he didn't need to be. So they've only given him nine touchdowns to the position all season the Falcons have. And it feels like he needs to score to have a big game.
Starting point is 00:47:20 So hopefully that's the case is that he finds the ends. Remember the Titans weren't giving up a lot of touchdowns to running backs. He had a big game against them before their bye week. So you just put him I think in that number two running back range. If you have better options, like I think Jerome Ford's better. I would start Devin Singletary over him if Tyrone Tracy's out. Would not start Benson or Carter over him if Connor is out for example. And I would start fighting out. You would start Singletary over him. I would out for example and you would start single Terry over him. I would start single Terry over Robinson if Tracy's out. Yes.
Starting point is 00:47:50 And that's exactly the cutoff line for me. Okay. I would start over him for example if Dobbins plays. I'm especially going to love Robinson if it's raining. If the weather's bad, this is an easy game for the commanders to just hand off a little bit more, run behind the hogs on that offensive line and let Brian Robinson churn against the Falcons. Let me try saying this stat again. They've allowed a 10 plus gain on the ground on 14% of running back runs over their last
Starting point is 00:48:21 four games. That's high. That's a lot. That's very high. We have a question in the chat here, Brian Robinson or Jerome Ford. Ford. I have four dad of Robinson for now. It's easier to do that in PPR because Ford catches the ball. Robinson isn't necessarily one to catch the ball. Brian Robinson or Gerrindo. If he plays
Starting point is 00:48:40 Robinson, I'd probably take a render. And here's the problem with that rain thing though. This is the Sunday night game. So you know, we can't we can't get the weather report necessarily unless you're wanting to use one from 12 hours before the game starts, which you could do. It's so funny because the Falcons see how many rushing touchdowns have they allowed to running backs? It's your four rushing touchdowns for running backs all year. Last year, they did not allow a rushing touchdown
Starting point is 00:49:07 to a running back until week 16. And then in their last three games, the Falcons allowed five rushing touchdowns to running backs. So that's just a weird thing that they've done two years in a row. They've been good at keeping running backs out of the end zone, but that's not really a reliable stat.
Starting point is 00:49:23 You never know when the flood gates could open. Terry McLaurin is a must start guy. The Falcons stink. Elamade Zekias, they stink against wide receivers. Second most fancy points allowed. Zekias is a dart throw. And then Zach Ertz is tough. Starter said Zach Ertz, guys.
Starting point is 00:49:41 He's behind Kraft. I would have said behind Schultz, you know, so hopefully that's better than that for anybody didn't listen Ahead of Hawkinson ahead of Pitts, you know, so like tight end 14 He's a little bit lower for me. Just not a tight end. I'd get excited about Although I was getting into it Nick Sirianni. Maybe that fires him up. Oh my gosh. I Feel like Nick Sirianni might not be a very good loser Just gonna say like I think maybe he's a little ornery after loss.
Starting point is 00:50:06 Sometimes he's not a good winner yelling at his own fans. All right, folks, we're going to take a break. We got three games left. We'll be right back with the game of the week, baby, after this. We don't have to sing it, but we'll just play it. Detroit's at San Francisco. Here's your stat of the game. So this is a weird tune, by the way, just listen to the instrumental.
Starting point is 00:50:31 That's okay. Anywho, here's your stat of the game. Does any of this matter? The 49ers are top four against quarterbacks, wide receivers and tight ends. The Lions are top four against running backs and tight ends. Does that matter top four against running backs and tight ends. Does that matter? Have you been factoring that in? Nope. All right.
Starting point is 00:50:50 No, how have they been lately matters more than where they rank on the season. Yeah, they've been fine. I, you know, they've been good. Like, let's see, lately the 49, does it matter? I'm not gonna like, okay, Tuas scored 14 points. Matthew Stafford scored 17 points. Caleb Williams, 17 points. That's the last three games. Josh has scored 14 points. Matthew Stafford scored 17 points. Caleb Williams, 17 points.
Starting point is 00:51:05 That's the last three games. Josh Allen scored 30 points. He had a rushing and receiving touchdown in the snow. Jordan Love, 18 points. Geno Smith, 14 points. Baker Mayfield, 10 points. Dak Prescott, 17 points. Patrick Wilhombs, 11 points.
Starting point is 00:51:17 Geno Smith, 14 points. This team is really good against quarterbacks and they give up the fourth fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks. Any concerns about Jared Goff? I just felt like I was doing the gym carry when he gets pulled over and liar liar right there. But it's speeding starters to Jared golf. Start despite all those stats, the way that golf has played this year gives me the confidence to use him. And it's not just golf, it's the offensive line and it's the play calling and it's all
Starting point is 00:51:50 come together that has made him a true weapon for the Detroit Lions passing game. They realize as a team, they're going to have to outscore everybody. They know that their defense right now is not what it was. And so this is go get the one seed if they still can. That match up next week still looms very large against Minnesota, but they can't afford to not score points at this point. You know, like remember how we would say, okay, how are they going to approach it? Can they play bully ball? Well, they don't have the bully ball running back anymore. I mean, Jameer Gibbs is still going to be great, but they don't have same tandem back
Starting point is 00:52:25 there. Sonic and Knuckles are missing. Or Knuckles is missing, excuse me. Look, I hope the 49ers offense shows up. That's the big part of this. So they came out last week in probably a little easier matchup, I think we would all agree. They did whatever they wanted to against the Bears early in the game. The Lions team total, I just know this because one of our touts said take the under with
Starting point is 00:52:44 the weather and the situation. The Lions team total, I just know this because one of our touts said take the under with the weather and the situation. The Lions team total was like 28 points last week. They scored 27 in the first quarter. They can score I think on almost everybody in the league right now. And as good as the 49ers defense is, still outdoors, there's rain all weekend. It's not supposed to be bad on Monday, but there's rain all weekend. We could still see an opportunity here for the lions to be the lion. So I'm not getting cute and benching Jericho. Right. I agree. Hey, we should probably talk about this. If do the lions have to win this game to stay in the number one, then the race for the number one seed?
Starting point is 00:53:19 No, I do. If I understand it correctly, if, uh, if they lose, they could still beat the Vikings next. We can still get it. Vikings if they lose they could still beat the Vikings next we can still get the one right Vikings can also lose and still be the Lions next week You get the onesie So it's almost a meaningless game for both and I think Campbell was asked about that in the media press conferences this week And he said he doesn't care. He's still gonna play his starters. No matter what he's going up there to win This is a revenge game for them. I mean, you know, losing San Francisco in the championship game. I don't think it's a meaningless game because Green Bay factors in.
Starting point is 00:53:53 I think if Minnesota beats Green Bay, then it's a meaningless game. If Green Bay beats Minnesota, then Green Bay is 11 and four goes to 12 and four. There's, there's no way for Detroit and Minnesota to both have four losses. Yes, there is. Oh, that's true. They put each other in week 18. That's true. But yeah, yeah. But it's over Green Bay. The division's over for Green Bay, but they could still be a higher seed maybe than than one of those teams.
Starting point is 00:54:23 But that's okay, sorry. Detroit and Minnesota. Getting off track here. Still the point is that like, yes, it's not a meaningful game for the Lions or the Vikings, but I wouldn't expect them to rest their guys. Okay, so golf, Donald Baker, how do you rank them? Baker, Goff, Donald.
Starting point is 00:54:44 That's who I arrived, man. Start Jameer Gibbs, start Amanra St. Brown. We got a question in the chat and just a tweet I saw Jamie quote tweeting something about this other guy, Jamison Williams or Calvin Ridley. This is a non PPR question here, but this is an interesting one because Ridley is quite motivated
Starting point is 00:55:00 to stick it to his former team. So you guys like JMo or Calvin Ridley? I would take Jamison because there's more touchdown potential. Agreed. But they're close. They're both like boom bust number three receivers. Yep.
Starting point is 00:55:14 Yeah, Jamison Williams actually only has one end zone target since week three. That's weird. But he does score touchdowns and Calvin Ridley doesn't get a lot of red zone or end zone targets either. All right, Sam Laporta. So the 49ers, if I'm going to buy them being great against any position, it's tight end. And they are a good defense.
Starting point is 00:55:35 Let's make no mistake. They are really good against tight ends. They give up the third fewest fantasy points to tight ends. But Tennessee is good against tight ends. Sam Laporta scored 16.8 points. Houston good against tight ends, 15.6 for Laporta. I'm not sure. Houston ranks high against tight ends. Sam Laporta scored 16.8 points. Houston good against tight ends. 15.6 for Laporta. I'm not sure.
Starting point is 00:55:47 Houston ranks high against tight ends. Buffalo ranks high against tight ends. Sam Laporta at 111 yards, 18.1 fantasy points. Start or sit Sam Laporta. Start, unless you had John Smith. Sounds about right. Like I'm not gonna get Qton to start Kraft or O'Cockwell over Laporta.
Starting point is 00:56:04 There you go. Laporta's been hot the last couple of weeks. Keep him up. Feeling good about Purdy? Yeah. Again, I think you look at this defense right now, they don't have a pass rush. Secondary's beat up. The one concern, which is obviously a big one, is that the safeties for the Lions do a great job at defending tight ends. It's why they've been so good against the position. But you're not benching George Kittle, and I don't think that's a reason to run away from Purdy. Three of the last four quarterbacks to take on the Lions
Starting point is 00:56:32 have put up at least 26 fantasy points. So now we have Purdy ahead of Anthony Richardson with the injury, not ahead of golf. He's gonna be ahead of Tua, he's gonna be ahead of Stafford, he's gonna be ahead of Rogers. But how about of Stafford. He's gonna be head of Rogers But how about are we where are we on purdy versus Bo Nicks? Nick said a pretty if the weather is really terrible in Cincinnati. I'll flip that
Starting point is 00:56:59 All right. Is there anyone I'm forgetting here that's in that range Mmm purdy or Spencer rattler What purdy? Okay. We'll just go Purdy over Rattler. It's a joke. All right, Garendo, if he plays, he will be where in your rankings? 21, 22. Might be a little higher than that for me, but it's that range of running backs that you're just not sure of.
Starting point is 00:57:25 And it's going to last from 16 to like 22. Number two running back for sure. Garendo has been a little bit more involved in the passing game than the others, other than McCaffrey, but more than Mason, more than Patrick Taylor for what that's worth. So that's good. And I still don't know how good Detroit's run defenses. They were amazing last week against Deandre Swift, nine carries for 20 yards. and they've been great all year, but they're super injured. All right. So Garendo is like a little bit ahead of Brian Robinson. We said, right?
Starting point is 00:57:52 No, I would take Robins. Sorry. And I would take a random over Robinson. Okay. There we go. Someone's asking in the chat, Debo Samuel or Brian Robinson in non PPR. I take Robinson in full PPR. Garrett Wilson, Isaac Arendo, Reese Hall, Rico Dowdell. Paul Wilson, Garendo, Dowdell. I'll take Wilson at the top of that list. OK. And Garendo or Rashad white. Garendo.
Starting point is 00:58:31 I think you've got a good one though. They're a Garendo or Tracy versus Singleton, Singletary, excuse me. Um, and I would take both giants running backs, whoever starts. Interesting. I don't know if I would. Why not more faith in Garendo? Cause he's been pretty good, right? He hasn't pretty good, but his offensive line is a complete disaster. And I do think that there's he's clearly still limited. So it's not like he's practicing a full 100 percent.
Starting point is 00:58:52 So you have still banged up running back bad offensive line. You said it. We're expecting the line's defense to fall apart. Well, then last week. So looking at what the Giants running back has done against the Colts. I'll take that situation. All right. Debo Samuel is a number three receiver for you guys, like a borderline three, four and Joann Jennings is a little higher than that. He's a two, three.
Starting point is 00:59:20 Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Like, I don't know. I'm not really have any follow ups. I think we've asked a lot about these guys a lot. I'm gonna start Jawan Jennings, who am I starting him over? I'm starting him over Garrett Wilson, which is not an easy call. If Devante Adams is out, I won't. But I don't know why I have this faith in him.
Starting point is 00:59:41 If he gets his normal target share, I think he's gonna be pretty good in this game. I just, you wanna start wide receivers against the Lions. Just look at last week, you know? Yeah, I agree. I would still start Wilson, but I agree with your sentiment that it's gonna be an opportunity for a big game. Agreed.
Starting point is 00:59:57 I'm gonna look at some chat questions here. Maybe they can steer us in the right direction. I don't know about a big game, but like a good game. Debo Samuel, Alexander Madison, like a good game. Debo Samuel Alexander Madison Devante Smith. Debo. I'll take Smith. Okay, anything else from this game? Garendo or the Vegas running backs?
Starting point is 01:00:18 Garendo. Think I asked this one earlier, we'll do it again from Eric, Debo or JMo? JMo. Eric! this ask this one earlier. We'll do it again from Eric, Debo or J Moe? Jamo's Eric. Do we need to spend more time on Jameson Williams? Start kiddle by the way, I skipped over him. Didn't I? Okay, let me go back. I want to give the stat that I gave on Wednesday show for Jameson Williams. So he's been a pretty consistent, you know,
Starting point is 01:00:42 12 ish PPR fantasy point guy for a little while, but a huge game against Jacksonville, 124 yards and a touchdown, huge game at Chicago last week. Those two teams, he had a 64 yard touchdown catch against Jags, 82 yard touchdown catch at Chicago. Those two teams are bottom four. The Jaguars give up the most big plays in the NFL. The Bears the fourth most. The 49ers allow the fewest. So they just do not give up big plays. So I talked about that on Wednesday,
Starting point is 01:01:13 but I just wanted to bring that up again, because that is bad for JMo. Does that resonate with you guys? A little bit. Oh, then screw you. I was just gonna say that he's had five catches in four of his last five games. So in PPR, at least he started to build a good floor for himself. So he's not like one of these typical boom bus guys who might get you two for
Starting point is 01:01:36 20 or three for 155 and two touchdowns. I think he's got the upside to have a big play against anybody. I just think he's got the upside to have a big play against anybody. I just think he's got that kind of talent. I don't think that the 49ers have some sort of special coverage or defender who can shut Jameson Williams down. And if the Lions are just going to keep doing what they're doing, he's going to continue to see targets and he's capable of having that big play, albeit with a safer floor. He's a good number three receiver, still in the boom bust category, but the bust isn't it's more like boom floor than boom bust.
Starting point is 01:02:08 All right, Dallas is that Philadelphia, we got two games left. There is really no interest in Cooper Rush at this point Rico Dadel. Do you think CD land being out is good or bad for Rico Dadel who I know you were nervous about coming into the game? I think it's bad for everybody in Dallas. I know you were nervous about coming into the game. I think it's bad for everybody in Dallas. Yeah, it's a, this game could have been so much fun.
Starting point is 01:02:30 Yeah, yeah, I know. Well, the only argument for Doudel would be, well, now you could catch more passes. You're gonna need that because it's a tough matchup. We just haven't seen that from Rush. Well, because he throws, all of his throws to the lam. Yeah, I mean, look, it's hopefully will benefit Ferguson hopefully will benefit Doudle, but you're still talking about really good defense on the other side there.
Starting point is 01:02:50 Brandon Cooks is what for you guys? He's in that desperation range of Jalen Coker and Zacchaeus and you know, guys you just can't trust but may have an opportunity for a big game. Look, it's not like Cooks is getting, has been getting a lot of targets lately. But that doesn't, I think I feel like the window, right. Cause I agree. Agreed. But again, like there, this, this game could just get really ugly
Starting point is 01:03:14 quickly for the Cowboys. I hope not. Cause Kenny Pickett is going to start in all likelihood. And hopefully we get a competitive game here and Jake Ferguson. So Ferguson, I do think is pretty interesting. He got nine targets last week. He doesn't seem to have a very good connection with Cooper Rush.
Starting point is 01:03:27 Just like no good games basically. But six for 40 last week on nine targets. So question in the chat, Ferguson or T.J. Hockinson? Ferguson. Ferguson. Okay, Ferguson or Chigokanko now? Chigokanko. Ferguson. Bad matchup.
Starting point is 01:03:44 Or Tucker Kraft? Kraft. Agreed. Okay. Well. Ferguson matchup or Tucker craft. Craft. Agreed. All right. So not a huge boost for Ferguson. Uh, picket is not a start. Sequon Barkley is AJ Brown for you guys. He's top 12 for Heath. He's 21st, 22nd. Um, I just, he was absolutely peppered with targets. Eight of the first 10 passes went to eight of the first 10 passes went to AJ Brown. This included a touchdown, an interception,
Starting point is 01:04:09 a 45 yard deep ball completion, and an under thrown ball on a potential chunk play where Brown beat Marshawn Latimore and the throw was not good. You're talking about with Pickett, eight of the first 10. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Sorry, as soon as Pickett got in the game, it's just, Brown, Brown, Brown, Brown, Brown.
Starting point is 01:04:24 And Devante Smith, Devante Smith. He. As soon as picket got in the game, it's just brown, brown, brown, brown, brown, brown. And Devante Smith, Devante. He doesn't want to hear about it that they don't like each other. Oh, yeah, exactly. Right. You guys are pretty damn low on Devante Smith. He's not even a top 30 wide receiver. He wasn't that bad last week, six for 51 on eight targets. He never drops the ball. That's like a seven for 60 game if he catches that ball.
Starting point is 01:04:49 And let's just back up for a second here. Say, Gwon Barkley is eyeballing Eric Dickerson's record. Now they have a backup quarterback. Like this is feed Barkley all day long. Is he really? Next week, he may not play. What's the record? The single season rushing record.
Starting point is 01:05:09 Wow. I did not even realize how many rushing yards he had. 1,838. Unbelievable. Yeah. I mean, this is, you know, good luck if you have Saquon Barkley. Good luck if you're facing Saquon Barkley this week. I mean, he's going to go nuclear.
Starting point is 01:05:24 Just for the record, the number that he has to beat for Dickerson is 2,105 yards. So he's like 300 yards away or so. He's like two eights. A little less than that. And he's probably not gonna play. If they win, he's not gonna play next week. Unless it's just to get the record.
Starting point is 01:05:41 All right, so, but Devante Smith, yeah, outside the top 30. And you guys have both Niners. What's your over under for picket passes? 27 and a half under. He say one needs 268 rushing yards to get the record. Could he get 200 yards in this game? 200 yards? I wouldn't rule it out. Could he get 200 yards in this game and then come back in week 18 and notch the record? I would say he's got a shot at 160. It would really...
Starting point is 01:06:17 I don't know if we run him out next week. Although they do play the Giants. Yeah, it would really be funny if he set the record against the Giants next week. I, you know, I'm kind of thinking that could happen. All right. That's it for this game. If you guys don't want to talk about Devontae Smith, you're just not expecting a lot of pass volume. I just think, you know, again, you got backup quarterback, you have a defense that has played much better of late. You have a run based game plan, most likely because of who the quarterback is and what's in front of Saquon Barkley. Like to me, Barkley's got an opportunity here just to be an absolute game
Starting point is 01:06:49 record. Like I have in one league and I'm playing in one league and I'm terrified about the game of play. I think I said earlier Smith over Debo. I don't think I'm going to stick with that. I think I'll take the over Devante. Yeah, McMillan over Smith. Yeah, somebody's the point. Yeah, that I had. Okay. And the Eagles DST, you should start them. And the Cowboys DST isn't bad either. I'm not trying the Cowboys DST. We just got to talking about Saquon Barkley, maybe getting 200 right. It's
Starting point is 01:07:19 no Kenny Pickett though. Yeah, I'm taking the Dolphins over them. Oh, I would take the Raiders over. Great. No, they're not a must start defense. Like, I mean, I like taking the dolphins over them. Oh, I would take the Raiders over. Great. No, they're not a must start defense. Like, I mean, I like the Seahawks. They're behind the Seahawks. You know, so they're somebody just has about the Raiders. That's the range you're talking about. Yeah, Dave said he take the Raiders over them. Eagles, Bucks or Dolphins DST this week. Dolphins. Dolphins. All right. The Raiders are at the Saints and they have
Starting point is 01:07:48 the best for last. Why do you? Yeah. Why did you wait till now to do this game? I'm sorry guys. Uh, I, you know, should we do the show over? Yes. All right. Jamie gave me a lot of, a lot of heat for being at an hour and 15 minutes yesterday. So we're going to do this game. Yeah. Yeah. A lot of heat. Four minutes and 30 seconds. Las Vegas is at New Orleans here. He wants those short podcasts, man. So last week, Alexander Madison had 12 carries and four catches. Amir Abdullah had seven carries and five catches.
Starting point is 01:08:18 Why do you like Abdullah more than Madison against one of the worst run defenses in football? But they're not as bad in the passing game as the Jaguars. Like Jaguars last week, great matchup in the passing game for running backs. Saints aren't quite that. Why do you like Abdullah Dave better than Madison? Kyle Sivers I just think that he's the more explosive player and they're sharing enough to where I think Abdullah can overcome the, he can overcome being second and overall touches being second in snap share and still be better by then Alexander Madison. I think if Madison doesn't score, he's a problem. He might get you 10 PPR points.
Starting point is 01:08:54 If he doesn't score, I think Abdullah can get you 10 PPR points. No problem. And he might be able to get you closer to 15, even without score. Okay. Anything to add Jamie? I mean, I would hate for it to be starting these guys. I'm stuck in one league starting. Abdul it's a 22 team 2014 fantasy League so you understand why?
Starting point is 01:09:16 Yeah. You know they probably need to find the end zone to be successful. I just feel like Abdul is rolling the past games a little safer. If you knew that neither running back would score, which is crazy because they're playing the Saints and the Saints let every, they let three different running backs score last week. But if neither one of them scored,
Starting point is 01:09:33 which one would you have more confidence in? Abdullah. I think it's easy to say Abdullah. Yeah, and I have both of them in one of my leagues, but I don't really think it matters because I feel good. I started Mix in JSN in Fairbair, and so it doesn't really matter who I start there. I'm probably gonna win.
Starting point is 01:09:49 So I'm hoping that Tyrone Tracy doesn't play so I can put Devon Singletary in over them. But I thought you guys said you wouldn't do that. I would, yeah. You would? Okay. How do we feel about Jacobi Myers this week, and what about Chris Olave if he plays?
Starting point is 01:10:06 I'll start with Olave just because it's going to be Spencer Rattler most likely. And he's clearly ahead of like the Jalen Cokers and the Zacchaeuses of the world, but he's behind the 49ers guys. I would start Devante Smith over him. Like we're talking about wide receiver 38, you know, so low end numbers. Can I give you a counter to that? You know what he did the previous time he played with Spencer Rattler? He had a huge game and honestly though, it was mostly Jake Hayner because
Starting point is 01:10:36 Rattler was replaced by Hayner. But he had eight catches for 107 yards on 14 targets. And that was like rattler got without a touchdown this year. He had three catches for 49 yards on five targets with rattler. And then Hayner came in and peppered him with targets after that. But just saying that that he did score 18.7 fantasy points at the chargers in a game thatattler and Hayner played. So yeah, I'm not excited to start a lot of a even if he plays he'd be in that number four receiver range. Okay, are
Starting point is 01:11:14 you excited to start Jacobi Myers is slumping a little bit. He's been bad the last two weeks. One of those was the Desmond Ritter game. So you know, throw that out. I mean, the Saints secondary I know has been good at times, but I don't really fear them at all, especially since they've gotten rid of a lot of more. You know, you can't look at last week's game and say, okay, wow, the Packers didn't throw on them and Packers could have done whatever they wanted to, you know, so I think Myers does bounce back here.
Starting point is 01:11:36 So he's a low end number two receiver in that feeling range. Is it a competitive game? Yeah, I think so. I mean, it might be a game that resembles what we saw on Thursday night, but I guess it could be competitive. And if that's the case, then Myers should see at least nine targets. He saw that in each of his last four games. They're mostly games that the Raiders weren't necessarily competitive in. They were trailing. But I think that's what you're looking for from Jacoby, is involvement.
Starting point is 01:12:05 He wasn't involved last week. He's a borderline number two receiver in full PPR. Would you start Kamara if he played? Yes. Yeah, he would be like- He's not playing, but yeah. Yeah, he's probably not. Like ahead of Connor, behind like James Cook.
Starting point is 01:12:27 All right. And don't start Kendra Miller, right? No. I got some chat questions about this game, Aiden O'Connell or Bryce Young. Young Bryce, Alexander Madison or Brandon Cooks? Madison. I could be, I'll start Madison. I was about to say I could be talked in the cooks, but I think that's, you're kind of stuck either way. Go with the touchdown guy, Madison. Madison Pollard, Dowdell, Cooper Cup PPR. Pollard if he plays, Cup if Pollard's out. Yeah probably. Okay. And that's it then.
Starting point is 01:13:07 Okay. Hey, we did it. How about that? One more week. It's what we do every single day. Yeah, but we did it. Like we got through the season. Season ain't over yet. This season pretty much over.
Starting point is 01:13:18 No. Next week we'll be talking about, oh, you should start Kenneth Gainwell over this guy. You know, that kind of stuff. Those are fun DFS weeks. They are for sure. Very fun DFS week. Good luck folks.
