Red one we're coming at you is the movie event of the holiday season Santa Claus has been kidnapped
You're gonna help us find you can't trust this guy. He's on the list. It's a naughty Lister naughty Lister Dwayne Johnson
We got snowman
Chris Evans, I might just go back to the car. Let's save Christmas
I'm not gonna say that say it. All right
Let's see Christmas. There it is. Only in theaters November 15th.

This is Fantasy Football Today from CBS Sports.
What a play!
Can you believe this?
No, I can't.
It's time to dominate your fantasy league. Off to the races, and he stays at his feet. What a play! Can you believe this? No I can't.
It's time to dominate your fantasy league.
Off to the races and he stays at his feet.
This is gonna go the distance.
Now here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie and Heath.
This is what Jamar Chase does.
This is his third game of his career with more than 50 PPR fantasy points.
We welcome you everybody to Fantasy Football Today
presented by Bet MGM, the sports book born in Vegas.
It is Friday, happy Friday everyone.
And get ready for Starter Sit for six NFC home games.
It's Adam, Dave and Jamie here.
I wanna give a quick shout out to Dan Schneier though.
And I want everybody to just reach out
and see if he's okay, because
in three office leagues, he faced Jamar Chase. So that's some pretty bad luck. Just very
unfortunate. What's one of them was against me. Yeah. And one was against me. And the
funny thing is in the two of those leagues, Thomas Schaefer traded Jamar Chase to me and
traded Jamar Chase to Dave. And we recently and we both faced Schneier and we're crushing him.
So just wanna make sure Schneier's okay,
but don't worry, he'll be hitting the links later.
He'll be fine.
What's up, Jamie?
Thanks, Thomas.
I owe you lunch.
What's up, dude?
Hey, I have two leagues with Burrow and Chase,
and in one of our leftover leagues,
the 16-team leftover leagues that we did,
I went to see if anybody had that
combination. There was one team that had burrow chase, chase Brown and Gassicki all in the same
starting lineup. Oh, wow. Yeah, that's three out of four ain't bad. 125 PPR points there. Oh my
gosh. That's amazing. Well, it was everything we had hoped and it was such a bad first quarter and a half.
So boring and sluggish.
And then it ends up 35, 34 comes down to a two point conversion.
Phenomenal game.
Chase Brown started in 86% of leagues.
He had nine catches.
He had a rushing touchdown.
So if he started him, good job.
Is there really any major fantasy takeaway from this game other than Bonanza?
You could drop Deontay Johnson.
Oh, oh, Dave wanted us to play who has more with you, Jamie.
Well, it's who had more, who had more snaps, Khalil Herbert or Deontay Johnson?
Uh, I think Johnson played five, so I'm gonna say Herbert.
Herbert played two and Johnson played five. All right. You could drop the Yontay Johnson. What else? What else?
Mark Andrews probably dropped my Kosicki because I don't know how you'll,
I love that he had nine targets, but he was a ghost. I mean,
now you could say everybody for the Bengals was a ghost in the fourth
quarter other than Jamar chase, but he, he was a ghost in the fourth quarter other than Jabbar Chase, but he was a ghost in the second half.
And if T Higgins is back next week, then it's over for
Yasaki.
If Higgins is out next week, I'm starting Mike Kiseki.
Yeah, I'm not going to start him until Higgins starts
practicing and nine targets, you know, had like, I think he
had an almost touchdown, right?
He got like,
one end zone target.
And then he had another target just short of the end zone.
Yeah. I mean, it's a shame because the same thing kind of happened last week. He doesn't throw to
just one tight end. He throws to several and Tanner Hudson had a big game, six catches,
42 yards and a touchdown, but still nine targets for Kosicki. That's I'm not dropping that until
Higgins starts practicing. Okay, fair. You can hold on to him, but you won't feel great starting him.
I don't know. Maybe I'm just sour.
We got four more teams on a buy next week.
If Mike Koski is there with T Higgins out,
I'm starting Mike Koski.
Okay, okay.
It's process over results.
He got nine targets.
All right, I think we've established that.
I think Rashad Bateman should be
the new Magic eight ball player.
Dave thinks it should be Jameson Williams.
Jamie, like it can't be Gabe Davis anymore.
What do you think?
Let's see what happens this weekend.
Okay, okay, that's fair.
But Bateman's only 37% roster.
Deontay Johnson is not,
maybe he'll start playing a bigger role.
Deontay Johnson is just five snaps as Jamie mentioned.
What do you have to say about Zay Flowers?
Six targets, four catches for 34 yards.
That's two straight games with six targets.
So last week, I don't think he played in the fourth quarter.
They were blowing them out.
But this week he played a lot of snaps
and just didn't really get targeted.
Any concerns here with Bateman?
I mean, sorry.
Well, the Bengals have a better secondary than the Marcos.
That's just the way it goes.
It's just, you know, he's one of those players.
You know, he's not going to be a double-digit target guy at least consistently and
So with the way Lamar Jackson plays and the way this offense is designed it was a Mark Andrews game
It was a Rashad Bateman game
It was not a Zay Flowers game and look it really wasn't a great Derry Kenner game
You know you got lucky that he scored touchdown
this is a you know this is the the the highs and lows of of
This is the highs and lows of the way that Lamar Jackson and this offense operates. He doesn't have to rely on one guy to get his numbers.
You look at the other side of the ball, imagine if Jamar Chase wasn't there.
Joe Burrow would be terrible.
So it's a-
Or Mike Kosicki would have been really awesome.
He probably would have got 11 targets and had a few more numbers.
It's just, you're starting to say flowers every week, you know, why, why, why get cute?
Last question about this game. Jamar chase, let me just double
check here.
While you double check, you know, I've always tried to use a
correlation between ours and Derek Henry. This is the second
time this whole year where this was week 10 second time all year. Both of them have been below 15 PPR points.
So maybe another example of process over results. You know what his upside is.
You take the lumps and you move on.
Yeah. So Jamar chase has had double, has had more than seven targets and only four games
and T Higgins missed three of them. He destroys Baltimore. This is a great matchup.
Any thoughts on China cell?
Chase?
Yeah.
No, I mean, they're still in the, in the playoff hunt.
I thought Burrows comment last night was spot on, you know,
the year that him and chase and Trey Hendrickson are having
and the record is four and six. Thatrey Hendrickson are having and the record
is four and six. That's a team you don't want to see in the playoffs by any stretch.
They have pretty easy schedule. I mean, Chargers and Steelers up next, but then Dallas, Tennessee,
Cleveland, Denver. I mean, there's definitely eight wins out there for them. They could
get to 10 that wouldn't wouldn't shock anyone if they made the play.
Yeah, you gotta figure they need to split the next two.
All right, well, I just thought I'd ask.
Okay, enjoy the ride with Jamar Chase and Tylin Wallace.
I wanted to do like my William Wallace impression,
but I can't do it anymore.
I used to be really good at it,
but like Tylin Wallace is seven feet tall
or something like that.
It would be something in that neighborhood.
All right, BetMGM, let's sign up.
Let's get on that app.

Remember Sunday morning, 9 a.m.
It's going to be me, Heath and Jamie
giving you your start sit advice
and waiting for that Giants Panthers game to start.
You got Dave and Heath confused.
Oh, Heath is off.
Dave is on, Heath is on.
I was about to say, I get to sleep in.
Oh, I'm sorry.
Okay, I thought Dave was off and Heath was on.
Okay, it's gonna be me, Dave and Jamie
giving you start sit advice.
YouTube.com slash fantasy football today.
It's nine a.m. and then again at noon Eastern,
we'll be answering your questions.
We do a Q and A, we get a lot of people there
and you get to watch the Giants with me.
So that'll be stressful.
News and notes, Trevor Lawrence is likely out.
We talked a lot about Brian Thomas Jr. yesterday.
We were pretty supportive of Brian Thomas Jr.
But with the news that Lawrence is likely out against the Vikings, where is Brian Thomas Jr. yesterday. We were pretty supportive of Brian Thomas Jr. But with the news that Lawrence is likely out
against the Vikings,
where is Brian Thomas Jr. ranked for you?
I went from a mid tier number two receiver
to a low end number two receiver.
So you're still starting him based on two things.
One, matchup, as good as it gets.
Two, the hope of Mack Jones being a little bit more
aggressive with Brian Thomas than
maybe Trevor Lawrence was.
I don't think that's necessarily an indictment on Trevor Lawrence.
I just think sometimes you see these backup quarterbacks come in and they have nothing
to lose.
Right now, he has nothing to lose.
Throw the ball all over the place.
If you throw a bunch of interceptions, no one's going to criticize you like they did
in New England.
So just go out and play.
I hope that's the case for Mac Jones.
I would hope more for just aggressiveness in terms of targets, just over target.
Brian Thomas Jr. thrown in 10 times
because I don't trust Mac throwing deep.
So if they just, you know, run a bunch of slants
and crossers, we know Brian Thomas can win on those.
I agree with you.
He's a low end number two fantasy receiver.
All right.
And Dak Prescott, we know about him. Bryce Young starting, we knew that. Will Levis
continues to make progress. So he's probably looking good, I guess, start at the Chargers.
Running back news again, Brian Robinson was limited. So we're keeping our fingers crossed
on him. And McCaffrey, they said he's expected to play this week. Woo hoo hoo.
And that's, I didn't see the Titans practice report. Any news on Tajay Spears still limited?
Full.
Oh, okay.
That's a good sign.
But not a good sign for Nico Collins.
He missed practice again.
They haven't opened his window yet to return.
So I don't-
We pulled him from the rankings.
Yeah, all right.
Don't think Nico Collins is going to play.
But Drake London, AJ Brown, CD Lamb, they're looking good.
Darius Slayton is almost certainly not going to play.
I think they leave today for Germany and I don't he is out.
He's out. They didn't make the trip. Okay.
And still no Sterling Shepherd or Jalen McMillan or Baker Mayfield.
I forgot to mention him, but Baker expect Baker to practice Friday and play.
Yeah, he'll be fine.
I don't know about the receivers though.
Devante Smith came back to practice.
That was wonderful.
And that's more or less it.
Omari Cooper still limited.
Keon Coleman still out at practice.
And again, Adam Thielen mispractice.
And a tight end.
Dallas Goddard looks good to go.
The Rams are going to get a little healthier
on the offensive line.
I don't know when, but they have two players who are on their, on IR, Jonah Jackson and
Steve Avila, a gardener center.
They've both been designated to return so they can come back anytime in the next 21
days.
And then there's one team I want to talk about defensively here.
And when do we stop fearing them?
And that's Chicago because they are so beat up.
Now they have put now the good news is Montez sweat missed last week.
Looks like he's in line to play this week.
Right.
He's practicing defensive back.
Kyler Gordon's been out.
He's been limited in practice, but they've already got a bad run defense.
Now they're putting defensive tackle Andrew Billings on IR.
He's out for the season. This is only 42 carries,
but running backs are averaging 6.4 yards per carry
against the Bears when Billings is not on the field.
So that's wild.
And also cornerback, Jalen Jones, who plays every snap.
He's on IR with a shoulder injury.
So I think this game was yesterday, New England, Chicago.
Well, no, the game's Sunday. No, it's coming up today. We didn't do that one. All right, we'll talk about this game was yesterday, New England, Chicago. Well, no, the game is Sunday.
No, it's coming up today. We didn't do that one.
All right, we'll talk about this game later.
But it's the last game we're previewing.
But the Bears defense is kind of a shell of itself right now.
And that's pretty much it for the...
Oh, here comes Drake May and Hunter Henry and Demario Douglas.
Man, it's still something. I mean, look for Stevenson, it's nice for him. and Hunter Henry and DeMario Douglas, man.
It's still something.
I mean, look for Stevenson, it's nice for him.
Oh yeah, like he's a number two running back.
CJ Mosley really, really stuck is in play.
CJ Mosley missed practice for the Jets.
Micah Parsons expected a play and that's pretty much it.
Okay, we're gonna take a quick break here
and come back with one question for each game
and a shout out to one of our FFT Open Division leaders who I left out of yesterday's show.
I'm sorry about that.
We'll be right back on Fantasy Football today.
How can you be sure your child is making the right decision when choosing a university?
The smart approach is to look at the facts, like the fact that York U graduates have a

That's because across its three GTA campuses, York U's programs are strategically designed to prepare students for a meaningful career and long-term success.

And we welcome you back.
Jackie Mossman, my apologies to you.
Team Cat Squad in the Chris Towers division.
First place there.
That's the only league that I actually
don't have commissioner access to.
I was like, hey, you guys want me to be co-commissioner
and help you out?
Everybody's like, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Chris was like, no, get away.
I can do this by myself.
But Jackie, you're rocking it.
Keep it up.
Represent the Chris Towers division.
One question.
I'm about to fall to second place. I'm playing the
second place team this week. And they have more points than me.
They have better team than me. It's gonna be ugly.
Do they have Jamar chase or Joe burrow or
No, but who did I start that I started a flowers? No, was a
flower started somebody didn't do well.
Gussicki?
No, I know what
who could you
maybe it was nobody maybe just the team is better. Okay. That makes more sense if it wasn't Zay Flowers.
Time for one question for each game.
So the first game we're going to preview is Panthers Giants.
So we'll talk about, you know, Daniel Jones and all those guys,
but we've kind of spoken about them throughout the week, the running backs and Daniel Jones. What about Xavier Liggett? The question for
this game is, do you like Xavier Liggett, Dave Richard?
I don't mind him as a flex. We know that he's got a pension for scoring. I wish he'd have
a little bit more volume, but he's got upside. I don't mind him.
Xavier Liggett out of 91 receivers with 25 or more targets
is 77th in yards per target.
I think he has one game with more than 45 yards
or something like that.
So,
you gotta understand what you're getting.
You're getting a six or seven target guy.
He's got 13 targets in the two games of Bryce Young.
You're getting probably four to five catches.
He's got four catches into the two games,
but he scored a touchdown into the two games.
So you don't want to chase touchdowns, but it's a good matchup
it's an opportunity for him to continue to establish himself as the number one receiver there because
With Adam Thiel and still out and obviously no Deontay Johnson anymore
He's the the guy who's gonna get the most attention, you know, whether he gets it or not, you know again process results
He's number three receiver, you know, so I'll say the same thing I said on Tuesday with the waiver wire stuff
It's a spider-man meme with him and Quinn Johnson
It's just a matter of who do you think has more upside?
And so I think Johnson has more upside I'd play him over Lee get this week
But that's the type of guys these these are gonna be they're not gonna be ten targets get a lot of you know
Chances to make plays down the field that's happened to Lee get once it was
The first start I believe for Andy
Dalton when he had the 10 targets. And so you'd love to see that again, but just don't expect it.
Right. Next up, San Francisco's at Tampa. That's a point in his favor. 93%
rat rate last week. San Jennings Irving.
I think in full PPR that's smart.
I might roll with Jennings and non PPR over the running backs.
Philadelphia is at Dallas starter sit Rico Dowdell.
I would try and sit.
Sit him if you can.
And point to the running back rankings.
Look at all those names on there. It's unbelievable
how running backs have turned out this year. And so that'll get his opportunities. He'll get some
catches, but I don't see him having anywhere near the game that he had last week and Philadelphia's
defense, just no matter where you look, they've gotten so much better since the buy.
Rashad white or Rico Dowdle.
gotten so much better since the buy.
Rashad White or Rico Dowdle?
Dowdle. I have Dowdle one spot ahead of White.
Agree or disagree?
You can't make the argument White better in PPR anymore
with what Dowdle's done in the past.
Agree or disagree for this comment here in the chat.
Adam is the cool friend in horror movies
that goes down first.
For sure. You've seen a lot of horror movies though, so you could be like, what was the guy in Scream? Like Randy? Yeah, Randy. You don't know the rules.
Yeah, there's a good impression. You could be him. He died in what, the second one or the third one?
Everyone's a suspect! I think he died in the third one. The third one.
I think so.
But yeah, so I agree with this comment.
What's that?
He died in the news van.
I don't remember.
The news van?
Yeah, he was walking by the news van.
The ghost grabbed him and killed him in the van.
Yeah, I don't remember.
I really only remember the first one
and the most recent one.
I would be the non-cool friend who dies first
in the horror movie, not the cool friend.
Okay, next up, Miami at the Rams.
I'm cool friend.
What?
People don't have friends who aren't cool.
Yes, they do.
They get forced upon it by their parents.
Like you gotta be friends with Adam.
All right, Miami at the Rams, start or sit Jalen Waddle.
At some point there's gonna be a squeaky wheel game, right?
Um, you know, you really haven't heard anything, but man, he's, he's long overdue.
I would say sit him, start him in three or three leagues, but it's just so tough
right now that he's not getting opportunities.
And last week's game was so fluky with the touchdown saved you when he
has negative receiving yards.
So it's just, it's just tough. As long as as long as two was continuing to lean on HN in the passing
game.
It's just not great for what was his final point total last week.
I think it was four PPR.
Yeah, it was two catches a touchdown and negative yards.
I think it was more like six.
But I just it's for me.
It's a confidence issue.
I just have no confidence in
waddle no it was 7.6 okay must have had some Russian off okay so Jalen Waddle or
Jawan Jennings Jennings I have more confidence in Jennings next game Atlanta
at New Orleans Kyle Pitts or Taysom Hill Taysaysom for me. I've got Pits a couple spots ahead of Taysom Hill.
I assume in half PPR or non PPR you'd go Taysom, Dave?
Maybe.
Listen, the floor is bad for both of them,
but if Taysom Hill doesn't score,
I don't think you can expect more than like 50 yards.
We've seen a couple of games this year from Kyle Pitts
where he gets north of 50 yards without scoring.
Yeah.
Yeah, and I just, I think Atlanta's passing game
will do whatever they want here.
I would actually take the floor for Taysom
because I think you're getting guaranteed touches
in some capacity.
Like, Pitts could have three targets in this game.
By the way, who's Atlanta's leading receiver?
For the season?
Yeah.
Mooney?
Correct.
About that.
Correct.
That is correct.
Oh, wait a minute, who leads them in yards?
It's London who leads them in catches and targets.
Yeah, but who cares about that?
If I say leading receiver, it's yards, baby.
Okay.
Who leads them for receiving touchdown yards, baby. Okay. Okay.
Touchdowns.
London.
Yeah.
Okay.
New England at Chicago,
Ramondre Stevenson or DJ Moore, who's a better flex?
Stevenson.
I agree.
DJ Moore or Jalen Waddle?
Moore.
Okay.
Well, that is one question for each game.
And now it's time for the Hellman stack segment where we discuss the quarterback and receiver
duos to keep an eye on this upcoming weekend, brought to you by Hellman's real mayonnaise
mayo team reach higher and your Buffalo chicken dip beef fire.
Dave, you have any QB wide receiver duos to keep an eye on this weekend? Let's start with one of the most obvious ones, one of the most popular ones and one that
everybody's going to look at me and go, Dave, of course we knew that Daniel Jones and Malik
neighbors are a quarterback receiver combo that you have to start.
It's Carolina.
It's a lack of a pass rush.
It's a toothless defense.
Daniel Jones should be
comfortable. He should be able to make plenty of throws. I said this earlier in the week. I
thought he looked great in the second half against Washington. That's another defense that has a
little trouble pressuring the quarterback and defending the pass. And while the numbers weren't
great for Malik neighbors as far as yardage and he didn't score and all that, he had a ton of
targets. He was not bad. I think he'll be much better. I would expect a big, big breakout game from Daniel Jones,
not from Malik neighbors, because it's been a while for him. And Daniel Jones to be a top
12 quarterback. So that's a combo that I like a lot. And I also like the combo of
going back to the commanders, Russell
Wilson and George Pickens.
I don't think Mike Williams takes away anything just yet.
Pickens will still be the number one wide receiver for Pittsburgh
Washington's past defense.
I know they just got Marshawn Latimore.
We'll see how effective he is.
I don't, I don't know.
I tried to look into this.
But Latimore with the saints played to one side almost exclusively.
into this. Latimore with the Saints played to one side almost exclusively. And in Dallas,
his cornerbacks, Dan Quinn's quarterbacks played sides as well. Adam Backs Latimore is not playing this week.
Ross McNeil Shaddowing there would be between Latimore and Pickens, especially-
Adam Backs He's not playing this week.
Robert Leonard He's not playing. He's out this week anyway.
Ross McNeil Even better. So, he'll be great. Russ is a bi-week replacement at quarterback.
He should be good as well.
He's been great in his first two starts.
This has been the Hellman stack segment
brought to you by Hellman's Real Mayonnaise.
And just like these QB and wide receiver duos,
Tailgate Snacking and Hellman's Mayonnaise
make the perfect combo,
bringing out the rich and creamy taste
to all your game day dishes.
So give it a try and may-o game day
be delicious
with Hellman's real mayonnaise.
Shop at your local Walmart, Kroger or grocery store
and add some extra deliciousness to your game day dishes
this football season.
All right, so we got the Giants and the Panthers.
And I usually start with the game
that I think has the most interesting
start sit decisions of the slate.
So we're talking Giants Carolina, San Francisco Tampa Bay, Eagles Cowboys,
Miami Los Angeles, Atlanta New Orleans, New England Chicago. This game is
interesting because you guys have a decent amount of faith. You just heard
Dave talk about it in Daniel Jones, obviously Malik neighbors, but the
Giants are averaging the fewest points per game in the NFL. I didn't really
think that was gonna be the case, but it is true.
Daniel Jones either throws two touchdown passes or zero.
There's never any other outcomes so far this year.
We're hoping for the bad defenses to really show up here,
but we might be putting a little bit too much faith
in a bad offense here, I guess is what I'm saying here.
So who would you start Daniel Jones over
as I think you both have him 11th and so does Heath
my homes Kyler
Baker
Fairly over Baker, but yeah to a
Not everybody I like pretty better I like Donald better I like Stafford better here's the thing Adam
There's only one thing to worry about with Daniel Jones.
He's not in New Jersey.
Daniel Jones.
Now he's not, and the Panthers have the worst pass rush
in the NFL.
It's just like, I don't remember when it was,
but I remember buying it.
I think it may have been the Cowboys.
I don't know, it was one game where we were pretty bought in.
I think people were pretty bought in on Daniel Jones.
And he has, when he is bad, he scores six points.
That's the thing.
He's so bad.
He doesn't have, the floor is lava for Daniel Jones.
I think that the thing you really gotta worry about
with this, it's not matchup.
It's the run game.
Yeah.
Killing the Panthers here.
And you know, that sounds a little funny to say because it's not like it's a Kwan, it's
Tyrone Tracy and he's had some good games.
You know, been been dominant.
But again, that's really been bad for the Panthers.
And so, like you could see Daniel Jones have a good efficient game and not a good fantasy
game.
Like that's the that's the fear, you know. have a good, efficient game and not a good fantasy game.
That's the fear.
So what I think you need from him is you need him to have some production on the ground
because that's when he's been at his best fantasy-wise in his career.
You need him to lean on Malik neighbors for double-digit targets because if that happens
this week, he'll score.
He'll have 100 in touchdowns.
And so will he get the second touchdown?
That's the only thing.
If he gets the second touchdown, he'll be 20 plus points.
And so, you know, is it a D.O.
Johnson touchdown again?
Is it a Russian touchdown again?
Does Wondell Robinson's touchdown that got that gets negated count this week?
You know, so those are the things you look for and you say, okay, that that will put
him over the top.
I get people that are going to say, Daniel Jones, I'm not starting him over this guy,
that guy or that guy, but it's match up.
And you feel better about it coming off the game
that you just had.
It was a strong performance against a tough defense
and he did it at home.
So that's a step in the right direction for him
because he has not played well in his building
in a very long time.
And I honestly, maybe, I don't know if you guys agree. I know we all watched the game. It was
Monday night. I thought he actually played pretty well against the Steelers until a couple of late
turnovers which were caused by pressure. And that's just not something that the Panthers
do very well. So I totally understand the faith in Daniel Jones. Like I said, top 12 for everyone,
11th. Also, would you be surprised if this game ended up being competitive with
no decent amount of points?
No, no, no.
It's not the Giants defenses.
Any good either.
Oh, Brian burns may murder Bryce Young.
Obviously that's the big difference between these two defenses is that the
pass rush for the giants is much, much better than it is for the Panthers, but
maybe Carolina finds a way to actually keep a competitive in the second half and
Daniel Jones has to keep throwing. So I think the question of which running back do you like better
is very fascinating. So Dave, Tyrone Tracy or Chuba Hubbard, who would you go with?
I believe I have Tracy ranked a spot ahead of Chubbard. I do both top 15.
Okay. So who are they ahead of like,
how much faith do you have in them?
I've got them over Breece Hall.
I've got them over James Connor.
It's the time to be the world.
Yeah.
The pattern and the reason.
Football in Deutschland.
Yeah. It's the game of the week! translator and just read it off there. I kind of remembered it. Yeah, I kind of remember that.
But all right, there you go. This could honestly be a game of the week, but probably not. But we
had to get that in there. It's definitely the EU game of the week. Well, you could see the two
bad defenses leading to a fun fantasy, like fantasy bonanza type of game here.
Sure.
All right, so anyway, you'd start them over.
Breece Hall, Tracy and Chubber.
Jamie, do you agree with that?
Tracy, yes, Hubbard, no.
Okay, but they're both starters here.
One thing I don't like about Tracy is that he only has one
game with a lot of catches.
They had that six catch game against the Bengals,
and Malik Nevers didn't play in that game.
So like they were trailing against the commanders last week
and he had one catch, two catches the week before
at Pittsburgh, but he's pretty good running back
and the Panthers are the best matchup.
Any, no hesitation with neighbors.
You guys have him top five.
Any interest in Wondale Robinson with Darius Slayton out?
Number three receiver. You know, I originally started the week
saying he was cuttable in the waiver wire column and I took
that out and then, you know, move them up a little bit. So
you hope it's it's not, you know, six for 20. And it's a
little bit more down the field. It's a good matchup. So you can
go back to
Jalen Waddell or Waddell? Waddell and PPR, Waddell and non-inhab.
And any interest in the tight ends? These rookie tight ends were coming on a little bit lately and
the Panthers give up the most fantasy points to tight ends, whereas the Giants actually give up
the third fewest. Assuming that Jitavion Sanders plays, I don't mind them as a streaming tight ends, whereas the Giants actually give up the third fewest. Preston Pysh I'm assuming that Jatavion Sanders plays. I don't mind them as a streaming tight end, but you'd have to be
pretty desperate. You can't get your hands on Taysom Hill, Hunter Henry. You passed on Gassicki,
like that type of situation. But he did show up on the injury report on Thursday. So I don't know
what his status will be because we're recording this Friday morning. So double check the Panthers injury report before you consider Jadavia and
Sanders.
These, these, these two are better off as stashes to see what happens after this
game or in this game.
Um, tough that they're both on a buy next week.
So you'd have to really consider having a deep roster to carry them, but they're
trending in the right direction.
Both these guys and you know, the, the opportunity is there for Theo Johnson
without Slayton, uh, the opportunity has been there for Sanders and they both started to
perform as just a matter of, you know, how much can you trust them? I would, I would
honestly trust Johnson more this week than Sanders just because of matchup.
I love the fact that the Panthers give up the most fantasy points to tight ends and
not a single tight end has had more than five targets against them like that's incredible that's how bad they are all
right sit Bryce Young and start Chuba Hubbard but Jamie's lower on him Jamie's
got him eight oh in PPR it's pretty close Jamie's got him 18th Dave has him
15th he's 17th three straight games with three or fewer targets and two or fewer
catches so that's coinciding with Bryce Young coming back basically.
He's not throwing to him as much.
And they have Jonathan Brooks playing, you know,
so we'll see what the expectation and outcome is
for both these guys.
You know, clearly the contract told you how much
they have invested in Chuba Hubbard, you know,
both financially and, you know, I would assume
from a playing standpoint, it's just, you's just we had this happen during our show yesterday
when the news was announced.
They have so much money invested in their running backs.
It's absolutely insane.
And this is how you have a bad franchise
when you make decisions like this.
They're zigging when others zag Jamie,
you just don't see it yet.
Well, I had this conversation with a few, you know, NFL people yesterday that it feels
as if like they're trying to mimic the Lions.
You know, let's let's get a backfield that we can lean on and build out from there.
Like that's not the way to do it.
You build out the line, you get a quarterback and you try to get your backfield going.
So it's it's good for Chuba Hubbard.
It's awful for Jonathan Brooks and his long-term value at least from the upside perspective and for this
week look we'll see how how Brooks does I'm hopefully comes out and plays well
just the timing of it was so strange you know that well they did you pay him the
week that they're activate their second round right I know they activated Brooks
are they for sure playing him I mean that's all the reports are right now you
know so I mean I'm reading one that said that it doesn't mean he's gonna play just because they activated him. Okay, so still some modern, right and
Giants give up like five point three yards per carry to running back
Xavier league it is in the top 30 in PPR for Dave and Jamie not for Heath and
You know that usually number one receivers do pretty well against the New York Giants
They face some good ones.
This, you know, but you'll take a shot with Xavier Liggett
and we talked about the tight ends and the Giants DST.
No sacks last week.
They did not get pressure on Jayden Daniels,
even though they blitzed the ton.
But they are top 13 for all of our analysts.
They're 82% rostered.
We're gonna take a break.
And when we come back, San Francisco at Tampa Bay,
I've got a stat of the game that Dave might like.
That's what it's called, stat of the game
that Dave might like.
Let's see if I know Dave well at this point.
It's only been 16 years.
All right, we'll be right back on FFT.
And we welcome you back to Fantasy Football today.
All right, San Francisco's at Tampa Bay,
stat of the game that Dave might like.
The Buccaneers played on Monday, Dave, and their defense was on the field for 83 plays. That's a lot of plays.
I know you usually comes into play when a team plays on Sunday and then again on Thursday,
but still it's a shorter week. It's, it's not great for Tampa. And this is a defense
that really hasn't been playing great lately. Anyway, is this a start them all, sit them all except for K. Dot.
Pretty close to it. Yeah.
You think people are actually going to sit Baker? I'm sitting him. I am too, but it's a,
who are you guys sitting him for? Staff Jones, Stafford and Waukesha.
Sorry, go ahead. You go first.
No, Jones, Tua.
Try to think of us in that range.
Donald easy, pretty easy.
Well, you're just doing your rankings.
Yeah, I'm actually sitting him for Aaron Rogers in one league
and Matthew Stafford in one league.
Baker, I'm sorry, but he's playing so well,
but he's also taking a lot of risks.
So through like five interceptions in his last three games,
and he had some dropped ones, McMillan's not practicing.
No one's out, he's only has Otten,
and the Chiefs are the worst team against tight ends.
So he was able to rely on Otten.
Like the Niners are much better against tight ends,
and it's still starting Otten. But I don't know, man, like last week, he scored 22 fantasy points.
I feel like that's sorry to say, I feel like it's a ceiling, which sounds crazy.
I know I would, I would agree. He, you know, last week's game was relatively lucky, you know,
and that's a credit to him, you know, lucky in a good way. You know, he's just, he's playing
Lucky in a good way. He's playing out of his mind.
And this is, you know, you could see, okay,
not healthy by weeks on the horizon team coming off their bi-week fresh. I know they're at home. So that gives them a little bit of an edge, but still,
this is the, this is just a bad setup for, for Baker.
You know, just knowing that the 49ers could steamroll them here and you know,
does he make it through the game? You know, they say, okay, listen, we're going to shut it down. And you know, you don't the 49ers could steamroll him here and, you know, does he
make it through the game?
You know, they say, okay, listen, we're going to shut it down.
And, you know, you don't want to think like that, but still anyway, it's just a bad matchup.
And you know, you don't want to, you don't want to chase last week's points because he
did it without his receivers.
It's hard for the spectrum to do it again.
So I think he's better off and just super flexing to keep you.
I hear you all the way on that. And two games ago, we can't say it was a tough matchup form
cause he took on Atlanta, but he didn't have his receivers in that game either.
We didn't know what to expect.
It was 28.3 fantasy points that he delivered.
And then last week, tough situation, bad setup on the road, tough
defense, still found 22 fantasy points.
And so at some point you got to give the guy credit for doing what he's starting.
I could make, I could see why someone would want to start them over Aaron Rogers over Kyler Murray. Uh, does he have as much downside as those guys? Yeah.
Does he have more upside than those guys? Maybe around the same amount of upside as
those guys. The one I go back and forth on is two. And that's the one that I think I
might switch is put two ahead of Baker because because I think Tua does have more upside
with the same type of floor. But I think the guy deserves credit. I think he's been playing
well. I think he's going to have to keep throwing a ton and I'm ready to still call him a maybe
start just not a must start.
Okay. And hopefully after this, it gets his bye. And then he gets hopefully Mike Evans
back and we don't have to have this discussion. We're just mostly starting him. You guys love
by the way, the running back schedule for the bucks coming up is amazing. Go trade for
Rashad White or buck here. Oh, okay. I like that. All right. Brock Purdy. You guys love
a, he's sixth for Jamie's ninth for Dave. He's eighth for Heath. This is just a phenomenal
matchup. Second most fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks. I'll read some questions from the chat about this game
in a little bit, but let's talk about Christian McCaffrey. Welcome back, Christian McCaffrey.
Dave, where do you have him ranked?
I've got him 13th. And I know that that seems a little low because we're used to Christian
McCaffrey just sitting at the top of our rankings. But I still have a little bit of concern about
how much will he do?
How many touches will he have?
I know what John Lynch said.
I know what Kyle Shanahan said.
If it's a blowout, do they arrest him
and do use Jordan Mason a little bit more?
Do they mix Mason in a little bit more on,
non major down, so like second and eight.
Is that gonna be where they give CMC a
breather and let Mason play but I still think if you've got him you've been
waiting to use them you should start him this bucks defense we're talking about
their past three games they've taken on some pretty good running backs in their
past three games at least 18.7 PPR points who are running back in each of them and
15 plus PPR points to seven running back in each of them and 15 plus PPR points to seven running
backs this year, including each other past four.
So this isn't a tough matchup anymore.
And he's fresh.
He's as fresh as a Daisy monsoon.
He got number 30 in the Royal Rumble.
Here he is, the curtain to take on the rest of the National Football League.
All right.
The Bucks give up the second most receiving yards per game. The running backs
McCaffrey is decent at that. Dunn wants to know Tracy or McCaffrey.
The only way I would go Tracy over McCaffrey is we get a report Sunday morning that the
49ers are hedging about how much they're going to play him or if they play him at all, just
because you got that game in the morning.
This might be the last week where McCaffrey and Tracy are back to back in my rankings.
Yeah.
I mean, I, I have McCaffrey several spots ahead of Tracy.
Like I'm, I'm not all in, but you know, he's top 10 running back for me.
So who do you have McCaffrey over?
Like do you have them over Deandre Swift?
Oh yeah.
Dobbins.
Yep.
Um, who else was like a late pick on draft day that you might have a part of?
Obviously Chubbard. You've said that. Yep. Um, and Najee, you've got to have him over Najee.
Yep. Okay. All right. Jamie's got him six. So he's starting him. So do you have him over a Chan?
Nope. Hey, chance to have three for me. Okay. All right, can we move on here to the wide receivers?
Debo Samuel's top 12, Jawan Jennings.
I saw Jawan Jennings question.
Oh, Deandre Swift or Jawan Jennings?
That's gonna be Swift.
How about Amari?
Not there yet with Jennings.
Amari Cooper or Jawan Jennings?
I'd go Jennings.
Someone had a-
Jennings is up now.
Xavier Liggett or Jawan Jennings? I had a Xavier Leagate or Joanne Jennings.
I go Leagate.
Same.
All right, so Jennings is like a number three receiver.
He's about 30th in the rankings.
I think you kind of know what you're getting.
He's had four games this season with at least six targets.
Three of them, he's been 11.4 PPR points or more.
The one blow up game was without Debo and Kittle.
So don't factor that in.
So there's a floor there, around 11, 12 PPR points.
I think that's what you should be expecting if things do not go great for him start George Kittle
We talked about Baker Mayfield Davis has him as a low-end starter Jamie has him as a guy you would like to sit if possible
All right, so then that brings us to the Tampa Bay running backs
I don't think anyone's really going to be confident in Bucky Irving the 49ers
They are 14th against running backs, giving up
only 3.7 yards per carrier to running backs. So pretty good. Um, but Rashad white, you
know, could get it done in the passing game. He keeps scoring touchdowns. Let's see Rashad DJ Moore. White. I think I have white higher.
How about Rashad White or Javante Williams?
I'm sorry about that.
I have more higher than white.
Rashad White or Javante Williams?
Rashad White.
That's easy.
I'll take white.
And then someone's asking Javante Williams or Bucky Irving?
Javante.
I have Bucky a notch higher.
Okay.
Javante, I'll do one more Javante.
I'm sorry.
Sorry.
One more Rashad White.
How about Rashad White?
Or get a good one here.
Rashad White or Kareem Hunt? Kareem. Oh, that's easy. Hunt.
In PPR, that's easy. I think it's easy in PPR too. I view the Bucks running backs as the bridge.
Jamie likes talking about the bridge during draft season. We've got all these awesome running backs
and then the Bucks running backs are the bridge to hell because all the running backs after them in
the rankings have significant flaws and tough matchups and guys that you just don't feel good starting and I think
giovante's in that group most dirt for now Austin Echolars in that group of brian robinson does the
play obviously he pops to the other side of the bridge the jaguars running backs just guys that
you don't want to trust you're hoping that your worst your worst case scenario is hopefully a
bucks running back.
I'm telling you though, go and pull up their schedule, go, go trade for, uh, I have it
right here for their schedule. They're on by, and then it's giants, Panthers, Raiders
for the next three games. They've got Dallas on the line. Oh, they play Carolina at home
in week 17. Yep. Oh wow. One bad game. The rest of way. I got it. I had a trade offer in a keeper league.
Somebody trying to give me selling off parts
to get Bucky Irving.
And I was like, let me, it was, it was a package deal,
but the running back I was getting back was Najee Harris.
And I was like, let me see the schedules for both these guys.
Najee schedule is murder of a row.
And the bucks schedule is just so fantastic.
All right. I love this.
Good stuff.
All right. Are you starting a Tampa Bay wide receiver?
No, but if you're desperate,
you know, you want to see who's healthy first of all.
Shepard's targets were, you know, okay last week,
you know, stepping into that role
with McMillan not there.
And then you had Rakeem Jarrett,
Rakeem Jarrett, Rakeem Jarrett,
two weeks ago, you know, did some nice
things, but it's just, it's just so risky at this point, you know, especially against
San Francisco.
So like, you know, the scenario you brought up with your running backs, Adam, in our IDP
league, you know, just finding anything or anybody who's going to have some, some options,
like you're looking at Tampa Bay and you're looking at New Orleans and it's like, okay,
who's, who's going to be guys that are actually healthy and getting, getting chances and which
dark throw is the best, you know, so, um the best. So I would lean Shepherd if he plays.
Okay, KDOT in his top four, start him
and the 49ers DST, which has really not been a very good DST.
They are top 10, but close to 10.
So before we get to Philadelphia Dallas,
I did not talk about Tony Pollard missing practice.
Some people are talking about it in the chat.
I apologize for that. I assume it's about Tony Pollard missing practice. Some people are talking about it in the chat. I apologize for that. Um,
I assume it's a maintenance thing like last week, uh,
but obviously you need to pick up Tajay Spears.
So Tajay Spears practicing in full and Tony Pollard limited on Wednesday missing
practice on Thursday. You know what, you know, the analysis there,
Philadelphia is at Dallas since week six,
the Eagles defense is the best in the NFL in
yards per play allowed. And the Cowboys is the worst defense in the NFL and yards per play allowed.
The Eagles are allowing the fewest passing yards per game since week six Dallas, the fourth most
things have really changed. Now Dallas getting Micah Parsons back, that should help.
But here's your stat of the game as we look at CD Lam
with a backup quarterback.
I just keep updating this one
because now in their last four games,
the Eagles have held Amari Cooper, Malik Nabors,
Jamar Chase and Brian Thomas Jr. to 54 or fewer yards
and only Chase has scored a touchdown.
They, whether coincidence or not,
they're becoming a nightmare for these number one receivers.
CD Lam, is he a top 12 receiver this week?
He's 18th for me. Yep. Top 20 ish. Wow. But now he's ahead of Brian Thomas Jr. Right?
Yes. I believe I had Thomas ahead of him initially and now he's behind him. It's, it's just,
if he was a hundred percent healthy, it'd be a little bit different because you know,
you did a great job earlier this week,
Adam highlighting what his numbers were with Cooper Rush in 2022 and the five games that they
played together and it wasn't bad. And as I said, when you brought it up, I'll say it again,
he's a better receiver. You got to hope that Cooper Rush is a better quarterback since then.
So this matchup though is brutal. You mentioned it. They now they haven't played a lot of great
quarterbacks. I think Burrows is the only good quarterback over that stretch.
You know, from an elite level standpoint, you know, getting to Sean Watson at the time
when Watson was bad and Trevor Lawrence last year, Lawrence and not a great game and was
clearly injured at some point during that game.
But it's a backup quarterback now, you know, so this would be troubling if it was Dak and
now you're factoring backup quarterback, injured receiver, great defense on the other side.
It's not great for CD-LAMP.
And it's funny, I just know that it's happened twice, once to me and once to somebody else
in our league.
There is one league that we are not going to believe Dave is in it, but where another
member of our shows has been shopping CD lamb quite a bit.
And so I got a CD lamb for George Pickens offer,
I turned that down.
And somebody else got a CD lamb for Devo Samuel offer.
And it was funny,
because somebody asked me about the trade in a text.
And I said, oh, so-and-so is shopping him to you too.
And he said, how'd you know that?
And I said, just assumed.
Hey, good, look, those are fair trade offers. They're definitely fair trade offers. And like I said, how'd you know that? And I said, just assumed. Hey, good. Look, those are fair trade offers.
They're definitely fair trade offers.
And like I said, I'd be buying low on CDLAM.
I just think George Pick and stealing
rest of season is a little bit safer right now
because you may see CDLAM shut down,
given that DAC may get shut down.
And Debo Samuel stealing, I think,
is certainly higher as well.
Question in the chat from Zbat.
DJ Moore or Debo Samuel over CD Lam. I know Debo
over Lam is an easy one for you, but what about DJ Moore or Lam? Not there with DJ Moore. I would
still rather start Lam. Why'd you choose that question? It does say Adam is handsome. So
obviously we have a very untrustworthy person here. Philadelphia facing the Cowboys run game. How about this? The Cowboys fewest
running back carries in the NFL. So any excitement you had over Rico Dowdell, you know, it's just
like he, I don't know. Look, he plays, he plays a lot. He played a little more on third down. He's
oh, he's ahead of that Bucks running back bridge. Rico Dowdell. Yes. Right. He's,
he probably guards that bridge. Okay, he's right ahead.
He's right around 24th in the rankings for everybody.
So he's okay.
He's um, what's his name from Thor?
Uh, he just Alba's character.
Couldn't tell you.
I forget his name.
Starters at Jake Ferguson.
How about Ferguson or Goddard?
Ferguson over Goddard. Uh, Ferguson over Goddard, but I don't like the matchup for Ferguson at all.
I mean, the Eagles, you want to talk about being great against tight ends. They've been fantastic.
And again, it's backup quarterback. So, you know, I don't think you want to go crazy and drop him for,
you know, Theo Johnson or Jatavion Sanders. And you want to kind of see how this all plays out.
But I like Hunter Henry better.
I like, I liked to get Secchi better.
I liked taste some Hill better.
Yeah.
Heimdall.
Um, thank you.
Um, it's, uh, it's just not, I think the best situation for Ferguson.
So more of a maybe start as opposed to a must sit, but I, for example, I start Hawkinson
over.
Ooh, I start Hockenson over him. Ooh.
I'll take Ferguson.
I'll say that he's got upside for target volume.
Easier in PPR.
Don't like his chances to score.
He hasn't scored a touchdown yet this year.
I really don't like his chances.
And guess what?
The Eagles have not allowed a touchdown
to a tie down this year.
Right.
This is just, it's a potential nightmare matchup for him.
We know that he's going to score a touchdown now just to go through against all those trends.
Eagles DST is number one and we're obviously going to sit Jaylen Tolbert and let's go over
to the Eagles side of the ball.
Start Barkley, start Hurts, start AJ Brown, Dallas Goddard.
I don't think we want to start, but how about Devontae Smith?
Okay.
This is one guy that I took some time, did a little bit of digging on because like one of the things that I don't love about Devontae Smith, I mean, I love
him as a player, but he's kind of made his hay the last couple of weeks with these highlight reel,
deep touchdown catches. And some of that, one of those was with AJ Brown out with an injury.
I'm a little nervous about Devontae Smith. I don't
know how you guys feel. Is he an easy start like Devontae Smith or C.D. Lamb?
I dropped him behind C.D. Lamb initially when Goddard was not when we were not expecting Goddard
to play. He was borderline top 12. You know, that's just how it swings. You know, he drops
about seven, eight spots for me. Uh, matchup is good.
Opportunity, I think we'll still be there to not the same heights that it would be
without another player of Goddard's caliber on the field, because I don't think
Calcutta, despite the fact that he got, you know, five or six targets each of the
last two weeks or three weeks is that much of a difference maker.
It's just the track record.
You know, the track record suggests that he's at his best when somebody's missing.
So. maker is just the track record. You know, the track record suggests that he's at his best when somebody's missing. So again, just the way that I'll, I'll, I'll phrase it is borderline number one receiver when someone's missing potential top 10 guy. If he, AJ Brown's
missing, um, solid number two receiver when everybody's healthy.
Smith had 15.4 PPR points in week one Brown and got her playedard played. And then I think that's really the last time that all
three of them were on the field together. I mean, week six, I don't know if you count week six.
I don't think you do.
Got played like four snaps or something.
Right. So you kind of have to go back to the track record from last year. If you want, you can,
you can ask me, I'll go and find those numbers. But I think that he's
feast or famine type of wide receiver.
Tough to call him a slam dunk start, but I do love the upside.
And I do think he fits as a big play receiver for, I think he fits the style of Jalen hurts
as far as a big play receiver goes.
And I think he'll have a chance to make a couple of those plays.
So I want to be fair to be fair.
AJ Brown is still working through a knee injury of those plays. So I want to be fair. To be fair. AJ Brown is still working
through a knee injury of some sort, but Smith is good too. Did he just miss practice for an injury
or miss practice for rest? I believe it's for an injury. He was limited on Thursday. He missed
Wednesday. He came back on Thursday. Right. And I'll also point out like he has a really good
history against the Cowboys and I don't think anybody's sitting. This is usually a shootout. Yeah, no, you're right. People probably aren't sitting him, but I did want
to say this. I don't know that Goddard is necessarily the problem because Calcutta actually
had a target share in the last three games or four, whatever it was that was pretty similar
to what Dallas Goddard gets when AJ Brown is on the field.
So I, that's a great point. And it's just history. History has been, history has been,
he's been at his best. Yeah. The Smith has been at his best, which makes sense when someone
has been missing. I know to Dave's point, week one is the only game that we have in
the Kellen Moore era of all three of these guys together
And if that's the sample size we're going off of you're starting to devante Smith without question
There's one question in the chat
I think is a good one Devante Smith or Josh Downs and so I moved him slightly behind downs
Initially he was ahead of downs
I could see both guys being in a you know, 15 point range
And so just given the opportunity for downs I would go that route put it I could see both guys being in a 15 point range.
And so just given the opportunity for downs,
I would go that route.
But honestly, I tried to start both if I could.
14 games last year,
where all three of these Eagles were on the field
and played nine times Devontae Smith
had at least 14 PPR points.
Right, but he doesn't usually have like a huge game.
But no, the U.S. team has 14. But no, the only games he had with 20 plus.
Sure.
One, two, three.
No, that's not right.
It's two.
Okay, my last point on that might be off
on the number I gave you as well.
My last point on this is that Jalen Hurts has thrown
25 or fewer passes in four straight games.
I think that is the bigger issue.
Usually when these two teams play,
it's a shootout
and it's great for fantasy, but you've got a defense
that's playing great against Cooper Rush
and an offense that was struggling to begin with.
And Jaylen Hurts is just running a lot lately,
not throwing a lot.
They obviously rely on Barkley, but you know, we'll see.
People are going, he's gonna be started
in like 90% of leagues.
This is a waste of time.
All right, let's move on.
I mean, listen, I had a filter on that wasn't right. It's six out of 14.
Okay. Okay. Miami's at the Rams on Monday night football. Stat of the game. Number one,
the dolphins pass rush has disappeared in the last two games. Nobody's healthy. Yeah. Right.
And they've allowed five touchdown passes to Kyler Murray and Josh Allen in those two games. So they've gone from a team that had one of the best pass rushes in football
to a team that just cannot get to the quarterback. And that's something obviously that we're
considering here with Stafford. You guys like Stafford a lot, right?
Very much. Yeah. Again, hopefully punching the Cua stays in the game and we get a full,
you know, four quarters of him with his top guys. You got with Stafford last week I mean you know he wasn't having a
great game get you the touchdown it is he just looked amazing in overtime you
know just it was Bing Bing Bing down the field and then you know touchdown to
Robinson really I think the biggest question with with the Rams is the
Marcus Robinson you know because like it's it's going back now, the, the final
five games last year, four of those he scored touchdowns in, and now it's two games this
year with those guys healthy and he's got four touchdowns, you know, granted Ken, Nicole
didn't finish the game and you got nine targets from him in the, in the second, second game
with everybody healthy in Seattle, but he's not a bad, you know, boom, bus flex.
All right.
Couple of Stafford questions.
Stafford or Mahomes. That's an easy Stafford A couple of Stafford questions. Stafford or my homes.
That's an easy Stafford, but what about this one?
Stafford or pretty.
Pretty for me.
I'll take Stafford.
Stafford or Kyler.
Stafford.
All right.
Stat of the game.
Number two is that Kyron Williams saw his streak of 10 straight games with a touchdown
and last week against Seattle, but eight out of nine running backs who have
had 11 or more carries against the Dolphins have scored a touchdown. That's all it takes
is 11 carries and you are almost certain to score a touchdown against the Dolphins. So
you said it, Jamie, the only tough call is, uh, is to Marcus Robinson. Cause we're going
to start Kyron, which wide receiver do you prefer Puka or Cup?
For right now it's Cup, but they're going to be I think interchangeable every other
week. You know, where it's I have one league where I have both and I'm not going to start
both of them. And I'm sitting it's a 10 team league. So I'm sitting Puka.
For who?
Devante Adams, Malik neighbors, and I get McCaffrey back.
So he's gonna be one of my flex.
I'm glad I'm not in this league.
That's a good team.
I'm 500.
So this is the start of hopefully start of a run.
Okay.
So Dave, did you watch the clips I sent you?
I did.
And what'd you think?
So you're, you wanted me to compare how Cooper Cup speed was three years ago to Cooper Cup now.
And a pretty similar route, pretty similar play.
Oh, you sent me a specific play.
Yes, I sent you two plays.
Then I did not understand what you were trying to do.
You didn't say, watch this play.
I thought I sent links to two plays.
No, you sent links to a bunch of
clips of Cooper Cubs targets. I thought it should start adding filters and yeah, of course the speed
is different. It looks like a lot different. I thought years ago and two injuries ago, but he's
still a route technician, still gets open with his feet, still has quickness. Yeah, he's not going to win a foot race. That's why Nakua ranked ahead of Cup, but he's still a very, very quality receiver. He's going to be a red zone
threat. He's still fine for the slot. You're still starting Cooper Cup. I think for what it's worth,
Puka probably sees a little bit more Ramsey. Yeah. Oh, C cups in the slot almost every snap now.
Yep.
And, but with both with Pukinikua on the field,
cup has a 34% target share and Puka has a 30.4% target
share. So that is that you cannot walk away from that.
All right. To the dolphin side of it, starter sit Tua.
I would start him.
Borderline starter.
Okay.
Tua.
More upside than Baker. T to or Kyler to have
them back to back. I think Kyler's actually have a good game based on his running against
the Jets because you can run against the Jets. But Pooka I think is due for like one of these
big games and Vegas is expecting this to be a high scoring game. So I like to a slightly
higher. It's a good point about Kyler. I didn't think about that. The Jets have been playing a little bit more man coverage lately. So if they do that, I look at
the good games against Kyler in the last, against the Jets in the last month. It was a rushing
touchdown in each game against the Bills, against the Steelers and against the Patriots. And Drake
may may have had a monster game when he had 46 rushing yards and a touchdown in the first half. And so each of those three teams, when you factor
in the combination of the Patriots quarterbacks, 19.9 fantasy points or more. So I kind of
like Kyler about bounce back games.
To or Darnold.
These are questions from the chat. Waddle or McConkey.
Waddle, Ingramgram or dowdle in my flex
It's a little tougher for Ingram with the quarterback change, but I'd still go ahead
Agreed most dirt or Spears if Pollard sits so that easily be Spears. I'll ask you guys most dirt or bucks running back
Probably the bucks running back. I don't like the fumbles
for most are two in his last three games, you know, and they
clearly have options, you know, so it's not like they can, they
have to force most start into his role, and he just has not
been good, you know, so does, does Jalen Wright get more of
those opportunities? So I'm a little concerned about most
ready, such that our boss, if he doesn't score, you're not
getting
last one, Waddell or Quinton Johnston, just Q.
And just to go back to that fumble thing, in case you missed it on Beyond the Box score
on Sunday, I was wrong.
I said that there wasn't a huge effect in the playing time after the fumble.
But as Jacob pointed out on Twitter and as I pointed out on Monday on Beyond the Box
score, there was a huge drop off in playing time for most of it after he fumbled. Sit Parkinson and any interest finally
in John who Smith? He's not bad, you know, so like ahead of the rookie tight ends, for example,
head of the table on Sanders and Theo Johnson, he's getting targets, he's getting opportunities.
You never know with Mike McDaniel, not that the Dolphins are trying to get cute because they need
to get wins. But you know, Beckham facing the Rams, does he get a few more opportunities, you
know, one of his former teams? I do think that you just look at
what John who has done and the matchup is great. You know,
Rams have been awful against tight ends. So not a bad, you
know, desperation play behind Henry and taste some and
obviously, yeah, at least nine PPR points and three of his past
four. This is by the way,PR points and three of his past four.
This is by the way, this is the American game of the week.
I won't do the song twice,
but this is the real game of the week.
Yeah, I think we get a fun one.
Atlanta's at New Orleans.
This is not the game of the week.
Stat of the game number one,
New Orleans was the first place in the United States
to document an opera performance.
Sylvain in 1976, that is from Google AI. And a follow-up
question on that. If I gave you guys free tickets to the opera, two free tickets, you don't have to
go with each other, would you accept the tickets? Of course. Yes. Okay. I would definitely not. You
can have them. I have, I would you, would you rather watch this game or the fifth inning of game
five of the world series on loop.
This game, I thought you were going to say what I rather watch this game or the opera.
That would be a tough one for me.
Stat of the game number two,
Darnell Mooney is now the Falcons leading receiver
and he has 14 catches of 20 or more yards.
Drake London has two.
I love Darnell Mooney.
Kirk Cousins is a top eight quarterback.
Cousins, did I ask you Cousins or Stafford? I
don't think I did. Cousins or Stafford? I have Stafford a spot higher. Cousins for me. I actually
have to make that decision in a couple of weeks. Okay. Everything, we like everything about the
Falcons and almost nothing about the Saints other than Khmer. I'm going to keep this game super um start London Drake uh Darnell Mooney or um uh CD Lamb.
Mooney. I think I'm gonna land on Mooney too. How about that Kyle Pitts Starter Sit. A great pun.
That was a good pun Dave. Did you do that on purpose? No. I've got I've got a laugh that I want to play for
everyone. Actually, I have a few Dave laughs in here. Should I
should I make the joke again so you can play the laugh appropriately? Yeah, Dave. Go ahead. I'm gonna land on Moony.
randomly have Dave laughing like that. I buy mixer. All right,
Kyle Pitts, Jamie Starter set.
I could inevitably have Dave laughing like that by Bixir. All right, Kyle Pitts, Jamie, start or sit?
Start, but again, I like Tayson better
just based on his touches.
And it's just one of those, he's in that tight end canoe
of maybe this is a good week for him,
maybe he does something,
but don't be surprised if he doesn't.
So it's him, it's Kincaid, it's Laporta, it's Ferguson,
it's all these, Komet, you know,
all these guys that seem like they could be good and they just don't always do it consistently.
And Camara, yes.
Anyone else?
Okay, yeah, it takes some hell, I guess you like.
Anyone in the receiving core?
Is there a desperation Saints receiver?
I would lean Wilson if he's healthy, but he's still banged up. I believe Tipton would be the desperation play.
Tip not Marquez Valdez scantling.
Someone's gonna catch something right? Yeah, I'm hoping that no
one catches a loss in fantasy because they start a Saints wide
receiver. I think people are gonna catch their eyes burning
if they watch this game.
Mason.
Mason. Tipton.
I watched that the other day just for that scene. Yeah.
It was coming up and I was like, I just want to see him stutter.
God, I love that.
He's so good in that scene.
I forget the actor's name.
Yeah, he's awesome.
I only know that guy from Short Circuit 2.
Isn't that weird?
Or Short Circuit 1.
Wow.
Okay.
What about all the things we talked about?
I was nervous.
Yeah, I'm getting better.
That was a...
I finally got an accent down.
Taysom Hill...
Taysom Hill or Hunter Henry?
And I actually was waiting for him to say,
I'm done with that guy.
I'm finished with this game.
Taysom Hill or Hunter Henry?
Henry.
I go back and forth on this.
I think Tasem's a little safer.
Tasem Hill or Dalton Kincaid?
Tasem Hill.
All right, we like Tasem Hill.
And we like the Falcons defense enough.
They are a horrible defense.
They're top 12, but just barely.
I'm finished with this game.
New England's at Chicago. Here's a frustrating stat of the game
Here's Ramon Dray Stevenson's start percentage in his last two games 39% in week 8 62% in week 9
He scored 22.4 or more PPR fantasy points in both games
So obviously people don't know what to do with him typically when the game is competitive, he's good. Yeah. So starter sit Ramandre.
Low end starter.
It's a good week for running backs.
He's ahead of David Bridge.
He's, you know, he's got a, he's got a chance here, you know,
and I think the nice thing about it is they're using it in
the passing game again, you know, so that,
that will certainly help, but, you know,
don't be surprised if he doesn't score
touchdown, then he's going to stink.
That's kind of been the, you know, you look at his game logs
last two weeks, he's been very touched on depend.
And just looking at the matchup bears are allowing 5.1 yards per
carrier.
That's the fourth highest in football.
They've allowed a rush of 10 or more yards on 13.2% of running back carries.
That's the fifth highest rate.
This, this isn't a tough matchup and I'm sure the Patriots are going to
keep it relatively close.
And I think Remaundry is a good number two running back.
It looks like his name is Fisher Stevens.
That sounds right.
He Fisher Stevens.
Yeah.
He's so good at my cousin Vinny.
Uh, so thank you to the chat for chat for helping me out on that one.
L-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l- You start, uh, Ramondre Stevenson, uh, also with that movie. Um, it was on, uh, it was on Paramount, I think, I believe.
And, um, they ended out obviously a lot of it.
They left in, I'm not going to say the word because clearly we have a young audience at times, but when he's trying to find out about if he can get Trotter's
files and he says to Marissa Tomei, he gave me, he gave me his files and she goes,
disclosure.
Yeah.
Of course you had the word.
It's called disclosure.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Great life.
I truly believe, I honestly think that My Cousin Vinny is if not the best, one of the
best comedies ever because it is it just it's a good movie in addition to being very funny. It never
gets old. I could watch that movie over and over. I think it's not, it's aged well. It's not one of
those movies where like a young person would watch it and not find it funny. I really think it is,
I can say it's the best comedy ever. I stand by. Give me a better one. What's a better comedy?
I'm far more amused by Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore.
I agree. But if you were just going to show a random person that like a 50 year old,
That doesn't make it the best comedy.
I think mass appeal matters here. Like Billy Madison is not for everyone.
Everyone could like my cousin Vinny. It's so funny. You're not going to be like,
I don't like that kind of humor. Right? Yeah. You know
what I'm saying, right? Yeah. Let's see what IMDB has listed as the best comedies ever.
Best comedy and funniest are not exactly the same. Oh, stop hangover. Now listen,
not anybody could see the hangover, but that movie's hysterical. Anchorman is hysterical.
Best comedy movies. Let's see where it shows up on here. Okay. All right. Back to this game here. Do we like any Patriots wide receiver and Drake
May is outside the top 20, but do we like a DiMario Douglas at all?
He's not bad. He's in, he's in a similar range to Wanda Robinson, you know, slightly behind
like the Quinton Johnston's and Xavier LeGate range, but you're probably getting nine targets.
It's just a tough matchup.
He's definitely somebody you want to roster though.
Hunter Henry is a top 10.
He's number seven for everybody in full PPR.
And then onto the other side, you know,
I had this stat about-
I guess I'm ranked ahead of Taysom.
So go Henry over Taysom.
I think you have them back to back, but.
Yep.
One stat that I gave last week about Caleb Williams
was that he was pressured 62.5% of
his drop backs against Washington in week eight, which is the highest for any quarterback
in any game this season.
And I thought, all right, well, the Cardinals don't have a good pass rush, so maybe Caleb
Williams can do better or maybe the DJ Moore will be better because Caleb Williams will
be better.
Guess what?
He was pressured on 42% of his drop backs against Arizona, which was the fourth highest
of any quarterback in week nine.
So it doesn't even matter who they're playing.
Their offensive line is in shambles.
They're giving up so much pressure and Drake May just isn't playing well enough.
So for the Bears, you're sitting Caleb, you're starting DeAndre Swift, you are sitting DJ
Moore it looks like.
I mean, he's outside the top 24,
but he's inside the top 30. So he's a flex. He's a flex. I'm a little bit nervous about the matchup
just overall, because it is Christian Gonzalez, who I think will be on DJ Moore the most,
but the Patriots play a ton of man-to-man coverage. Caleb has struggled with man-to-man
coverage when he's seen it this year. He really just seems Caleb just seems so unsettled.
And so what's the best way to keep your quarterback calm,
impact him with the run game, use Deandre Swift, get him going early.
Every single time that Deandre Swift has gotten going, Caleb Williams has
played calm football and good football.
I, I, I just see, I don't see the same type of upside for Moore as he's had once upon a time.
Had the great game earlier this year against his old team in Carolina, had a great game
against Indy.
Everything else has been terrible.
And I found a movie list.
DJ Moore is a great by low candidate in dynasty right now, because when they have a new offensive
coordinator next year, that will hopefully unlock DJ Moore and Caleb Williams.
You know, we have a different producer on Friday Fridays. I'll get right back to that in a second.
DJ Moore or DeAndre Hopkins?
Right now I have more Rainy Tires, probably switch that.
Okay. DJ Moore or Khalil Shakir?
Shakir.
Shakir.
Hips don't lie. All right.
We'll finish with this.
Claire, if we have Claire producing today, if you like, you don't have to hop on video.
If you'd like to just tell us your favorite comedy ever.
I'm very curious.
I don't know anything about Claire.
She's new here.
Let's learn about Claire, our new producer, our Friday producer.
What is your favorite comedy ever, Claire?
My favorite comedy movie?
Yeah.
Oh, that's a hard one. I like Step Brothers. This is a good one, that's a hard one.
I like Step Brothers.
Step Brothers is a good one.
It's a good one.
Jamie's never seen it.
Not yet, no.
Yeah.
All right, so Forbes produced the 25 best comedy
movies of all time.
And the first movie on their list is My Cousin Vinny.
Get the hell out of here, really?
At number 25.
That's right.
Ha ha. I still feel valid. I mean,
that's impressive. But I would also say that it's a great movie. You're actually curious
to know how they're going to solve the case. It's not like spaceballs. It's not a slapstick.
It falls, I think, in like the the comedy of like, um, Groundhog Day. Yeah. Like they're
very funny. They hold up. It's not like slapstick
funny, right? It's just funny. Like brain donors. That was funny. America is five. The jerk is four
Monty Python and the Holy grail is, oh no, that's four. What the hell? They had two movies at five.
Uh, four is Monty Python and Holy Grail. Three is Friday.
Two is Dr. Strangelove. Number one is Young Frankenstein.
I mean, this is like a this is too old. But oh yeah, Caddyshack. That's a Caddyshack.
Caddyshack. First Caddyshack on this list. Why wouldn't that be?
All right, guys. Thanks for your time.
I hope this isn't any good. Caddyshack isn't even top 10.
Yeah, this is a good list. It's amazing how many of the top five I've never seen.
So I guess I should probably brush up before I make these comments.
Mel Brooks and Judd Apatow, just go watch those.
And coming to America, my guesstimating.
All right, we're out of here everybody.
Thank you so much for watching.
Listen, have a great weekend.
We'll talk to you at 2pm on the Mailbag.
If you want to watch it live or you can hear it Saturday for Dave and Jaden and Claire.
I'm Adam.
See you later.
