You know, some trips are just better when you can really unplug.
Spend time with family, see friends, or hit the course with the guys on our yearly golf trip.
This year, me and the boys stayed in a home on Airbnb, which happened to be a guest favorite, and it was right on the course.
We could walk straight to tee off every morning, and it was just a short stroll to the local shops, bars, and restaurants.
Staying in a place on Airbnb gives you plenty of room to spread out, cozy living areas to hang out in, and all the privacy you need.
Staying somewhere like that makes everything feel more like a home than a hotel, and you get a real feel for the neighborhood.
I'm already planning on how to go bigger and better next year.
Luckily, there's so many options to choose from on Airbnb.
So whether it's family, friends, or golf getaway, my biggest tip is to check out Airbnb, check out their guest favorites, which are the most loved homes on Airbnb, and you'll be amazed at what you find.

This is fantasy football today from CBS Sports.
What a play!
Can you believe this?
No, I can't.
It's time to dominate your fantasy league.
This is going to go the distance.
Now, here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie, and Heath.
And we welcome you to the Friday edition of Fantasy.
football today presented by BetMGM.
Make it legendary.
We had 74 points last night, and neither quarterback really had that good of a game.
Jemir Gibbs hogged all the fantasy production, basically.
And there were some other good performances as well.
I'm sure all of you started Ryan Flournoy and Isaac Tesla.
Good morning, everyone.
Good morning, Dave and Jamie.
What's up, Dave?
I did start Ryan Flournoy.
Shout out Homewood Flossmore's own Ryan Flournoy.
I'm tanking in our dime.
dynasty league. So I'm trying to not score points. So I started Ryan Flournoy. And now I'm winning
in a game that I absolutely need to lose. And Jamie, let's talk about your Isaac Tesla journey throughout
the week. Yes, it ended poorly because once, uh, once Amun Rae St. Brown was active, I dropped all of
my Isaac Tesla shares, um, and went to gas. And, uh, it was, it was, it was rough.
It was rough watching him score a touchdown because there were a few leagues where I actually needed him.
It's so funny.
I mean, I can't imagine that people were, people must have dropped him, you know.
I saw him dropped in a number of leagues, and Tesla ended up being started in 8% of leagues.
He's 22% rostered.
Amun Ross St. Brown was started in 60% of leagues.
He had six catches, 92 yards, and a touchdown, and he did play 92% of the snap.
So we'll start with that.
We have six games to preview today.
Eagles at the Chargers Monday night.
Is this going to be a good fantasy game or kind of a dud?
Chicago's at Green Bay might also be kind of a low-scoring game.
We'll see.
Saints are at the Bucks.
Washington's at Minnesota.
The Rams are at Arizona and Seattle is at Atlanta.
It's not...
Wow, what a schedule.
I know.
I mean, fantasy is great because it doesn't really matter, but these are not...
I don't know what the...
Well, we still have the Bengals and the Bills, and that's going to be an awesome game.
Tons of points, very high-scoring.
So looking forward to that one.
Did I say that Amman Ra got a touchdown?
If I did, I didn't mean that.
Tesla had a touchdown.
He touched his feet down in bounds many times.
You look great.
I mean, I have no regrets starting.
I don't have any St. Brown,
but I don't think you could have any regrets starting him.
He looked like great.
I have him in two leagues, one of which I just handcuffed him with Tesla.
So that was an easy one.
But yeah, I started him and was, you know, the struggle for me wasn't necessarily starting him.
It was ranking him, you know, and Moab's even.
The majority of the world does not have that issue.
But I put him right in the top 10.
You know,
I'm always concerned about,
you know,
these type of situations because you didn't know if he was going to be a decoy.
The video,
you know,
that Jeremy Fowler sent out,
he looked fantastic.
I was like,
my gosh,
like,
if this is the decoy,
okay,
I'll take my chances.
And hopefully everybody doesn't get burned by it.
And thankfully he had a,
you know,
and he had an awesome game without a touchdown.
You get 15 p.
PPR points without a touchdown.
14 p.
PBR points of a touchdown.
Like,
you're thrilled with that.
Yeah,
especially since 24 hours ago.
We weren't sure if we were even going to have him.
Yeah.
So hopefully you started him.
If he didn't, I get the trepidation, but he's just so dang good.
And I thought, I thought James and Williams played really well, too.
Yeah.
Lots of intermediate hitch routes where his timing was there with Jared Goff.
Like, he's just a stud too.
So this receiving core moving forward, it's condensed because there's no La Porta.
And I think that they're going to continue to just keep firing away.
Well, Gough and Prescott combined for 39.2 fantasy points, I believe, in six point per passing touchdown leagues.
And you make that PPR, Jemir Gibbs had 37. So he almost scored as many points as the two quarterbacks combined.
He probably outscored them in four point per passing touchdown leagues.
So I was looking at the FFT Open all 24 leagues, and surprisingly, about half of the Jemir Gibbs managers did not make the playoffs.
which is the top four.
And he's been so up and down.
I mean, his last eight games,
seven and a half,
36.8, 38.2, 19.6, 55.4,
11.6, 37.
But there's not much to say about Jamir Gibbs.
Jamie, is there anything to say about,
I mean, how about the quarterbacks
being disappointing in this game?
Are you going to,
do you still have confidence in them going forward?
Golf is at the Rams next week,
and Prescott has Minnesota at home.
No hesitation whatsoever.
You know, I mean, clearly if you have,
maybe, you know, Joe Burrow or Jane Daniels, those guys have been dropped in portions of the season because of injuries, and you pick them up.
And Daniels has a great game this week and then gets the Giants next week.
Like, you'll probably want to start him.
So if that's a tough call for you, I get it.
Joe Burrow, I don't know who they play next week.
But if he has another big game against the bills, you want to.
Baltimore, right?
Baltimore again, yeah, you want to start him too.
So those are probably the only scenarios for me at least.
You know, like I like Jacoby Brissette a lot this week.
He was ranked behind those two guys.
Most likely he'll be behind those two guys again next week because of his matchup against Houston.
So I don't think there's many scenarios where you're not going to trust the two of them.
Now, again, trust versus league winning week, that's probably a different conversation.
So, you know, golf, the nice thing about golf is he's indoors rest of the way.
You know, so his road games at Minnesota, I believe at the Rams, right?
At the Rams, home against Pittsburgh and at Minnesota.
Yeah, so you don't have to worry about any weather concerns for him.
And DAC obviously just did not have the multiple touchdowns that we're used to seeing.
And, you know, Lamb leaving basically at halftime probably played into that.
And, you know, Pick is just having a dud.
So I'm still perfectly fine with both those guys.
Okay.
And then just last thing, we'll talk about Flournoy on the Waver Wire show because Lamb has the concussion.
He does have about a week and a half to get back.
Not quite a week and a half, but close to face Minnesota who's been great against wide receivers.
But Flournoy, you know, we've had stretches without C.D. Lamb, but only two of those games did he actually play a lot.
And in those two games, he played a decent amount, 64% of the routes, 74% of the routes, and he had nine targets in one.
He had a huge game against the Jets.
This is Ryan Flournoy we're talking about, 18.4 fantasy points.
And then he had three catches for 30 yards on six targets at Carolina with 73.5% route participation rate.
But the good thing is, his target pro-out run rate has been really good, including last night.
So I actually think, like, you look at the four games he played without C.D. Lamb, throw away the first, too, because he didn't really play that much.
After that, you've got a guy that if C.D. Lamb is going to miss next week, you might be able to turn to Ryan Flournoy.
He's on the field. He gets targeted, runs the routes, and look great last night.
Just keep in mind, we are in the playoffs, so the amount of teams playing are different, and the talent on those teams should.
to hopefully be good enough where you might want to roster Flournoy in case this is a long-term
concussion situation, but I don't know how many people will need to start. You're not wrong
with anything you said, but just in terms of where we are in the season, I don't know how many
people, unless you're stuck and the CD Lamb manager potentially, is going to pivot to, you know,
starting somebody off the way of where like that. I agree. Plus, we've got 10 days between now and
the Cowboys next game. I think that's enough time for Lamb to clear the protocol. We don't know
how severe the concussion is, obviously. You can't speculate on that, but I'd say he has a chance to play
next week. I'm just, okay.
Of course he does. Of course he does.
But the good thing about Flourneux is that he has a high, a good target per out, not a
high, good target per out run rate, which means if he gets on the field, he can draw targets
and we want that.
It's almost the exact argument we had for, or I made, I'll say, for Tesla.
You're being attached to a great offense with a quarterback that's going to throw the ball
that clearly trusts this guy. It's different because we didn't see this type of game from
Tesla.
the only difference would be is that the reason I liked Tesla going into this game was the Cowboys.
You're not going to like a backup wide receiver going against Minnesota.
He actually played 77.4% of the snaps, Isaac Tesla, which is the second most this year behind last week when St. Brown left.
This guy hasn't played more than 50% of the snaps in any game with Amman Ra St. Brown.
And he was on the field a ton last night.
So with their injuries at tight end, maybe that continues.
although I will say they've had games recently
where they have not gone with a lot of
heavy tight end sets, just
one tight end at there. And Tesla hasn't really been on the field
nearly as much, so they clearly made a point
to get him on the field. He only got three targets.
One of them was a bunch of them. I'm sure
we have no idea what's going to happen because
St. Brown did not practice
at all. And so
they had, I'm sure, a lot of different
things that they were working with
to keep whoever was going to play
St. Brown's role. Whether that was going to be
JMO, whether that was going to be Tesla, whether that was going to be
Kennedy, you know, they're probably going to switch things up a little bit next week.
But I do think that similar to Flournoy, like you want to have some shares of Tesla
going into that game against the Rams, which is going to be high scoring.
I'm sure Tesla shares have been pretty good, let's say, 454, yeah, I don't know what they're doing
for the year.
Year to date, oh, up almost 20%.
Okay.
Last night helped.
What did you say?
Last night helped.
Yes, exactly.

All right, news and notes.
Lamar Jackson missed practice, but he's expected to play.
I was just surprised that they even had to say that he was expected to play, you know,
and his offensive coordinator just was acknowledging all that he's dinged up.
He's playing through this, playing through that, but you know what it is with Lamar.
J.J. McCarthy's going to play.
Jaden Daniels practiced in full.
At what point are you guys going to rank him?
We did.
We already did.
Oh, where?
Top 12.
In our rankings on the site,
CVSports.com.
I'll check that.
I put him 10th.
I think I had him 10th or 11th.
I thought Heath had him like top 5.
All right, let's take a look here.
I have the updated rankings.
Jaden Daniels, tough matchup at Minnesota,
11th for Jamie, 10th for Dave,
and 5th for Heath.
I thought about this because when Joe Burrow came back,
I feel like, man, we were really excited.
Like, damn, you got to, you have to get Joe Burrow.
He could win you your league.
Jaden Daniels was ranked, was drafted ahead of Joe Burrow.
He's only 77% rostered.
It's later in the year, so maybe people have stopped.
But do we have that same excitement about him, Jamie, just being a league winner going forward?
Absolutely.
Like, again, you have, if I'm not mistaken, the Giants next week, and then the Cowboys in the Fantasy Championship.
Yeah, it's Giants and Eagles.
cowboys. Right. So you go tough matchup, great matchup, somewhat tough matchup, great matchup.
And so for Daniels, look, he has not lived up to expectations when healthy. Now, part of that
is Terry McCorn not being on the field. And so I think if you, what you're hoping for is the
blueprint we saw last week of Mario to high volume. His rushing numbers have been great. He was over 40
rushing Ardita, the last two games that he started. So that's Daniel's range for sure. And so if he's
going to run and they're not concerned about risk of, you know, the left elbow injury
again. Yeah, absolutely could be a league winner. So, you know, to say the excitement level,
I mean, I think this kind of snuck up on people clearly, you know, because Burrow gave you a
date. He was like, I'm coming back Thanksgiving. He beat the deadline. Or no, he was, he played
the game. He said he was going to pay. But he gave us a, you know, we had, the report that was a
deadline of he's playing Thanksgiving night. Everybody knew to, you know, go.
again, we've been saying this in the Waverwire in the shallow leagues.
You know, I don't know how many times we had to go over it.
Like, I've been listing him there for a month.
So I think just a lot of it is you couldn't stash him in an IRA spot.
It's a difference.
Yeah, he hasn't really had a huge season when he's played, but he's only played two games with McLaren.
Anyway, more on Jaden Daniels later.
Justin Herbert, you know, hopefully we'll know by Sunday he's planning on playing.
Daniel Jones, good to go, and running back news.
Aaron Jones remains limited in practice.
Can Walker's been limited.
It's nothing new for him.
We're not expecting Camara.
Dylan Samson missed practice again.
Omari and Hampton is expected to play.
That's pretty much it.
Still no Trey Benson and Amari Di Mercado's been practicing.
Wide receiver news.
Still no Marvin Harrison.
Greg Dorch also missing practice.
So keep an eye on that.
Got the mailbag later today.
Hopefully we'll have some updates.
Just me and Dan on the mailbag today.
But hopefully we'll have some updates.
T. Higgins practiced in full, I believe.
right yes okay so that's great news for higgins um are you guys ranking mike evans yet
no uh i thought josh grizzard grizard however you say his last name rzard um sort of indicated
that it might be too soon for evans and mcmillan to play this week okay all right well we got
that game coming up later drake london still absent from practice you really want to trust the guy
that said limited snaps for bucky irving and then he plays 52% of snaps it was awesome
Is that limited?
That's kind of limited, though.
It's,
he had limited snaps.
It's his lowest snap share of the season,
but again,
when he's out there,
he got touches.
Like,
I always get,
you know,
I hate with snap counts when guys are,
they're playing,
they're touching the ball,
you know,
so he wasn't out there to pass block
and be a deque.
He was out there.
When he was out there,
he was getting used.
He had a high touch-to-snap ratio.
Yes.
Someone's asking for Hampton News.
I said,
Hampton's expected to play tonight
or this week.
He plays tonight.
He's not going to play.
And that's the first game we're going to preview.
Parker Washington did get back to practice yesterday.
Quentin Johnson was limited with a shoulder.
Chris Olave.
Oh, I'm sorry.
Did he practice?
He did practice, right?
Olave?
Yes.
Okay, he got back in there.
That's good.
Pat Bryant popped up with a hamstring injury.
He was limited.
And Romo Dunezai has still been out.
Jamie's picking up Luther Burden, who's pretty widely available.
But Romo Dunez's no, no, no, no.
Just picked them up because I had to make some sort of
pivot from all my test loss shares.
And I did do that.
I did pick up burden specifically for that reason, not with the, oh my God, Romo Dunez's
out.
There were a few leagues where I actually picked up somebody just as a placeholder for a few
players that were on waivers that will clear waivers for Saturday.
So, um, gotcha.
Trying to make some moves.
Okay.
We talked about burden on the beat the waiver wire video that we did yesterday.
Check that out on YouTube.
And what, five or more targets in three straight games has route.
run rate is going up that's a that's a good stash at wide receiver luther burden is averaging
as many yards per target as jalen wattle and just behind cd lamb he's i think top 15 in yards
per target all right and josh down's practiced in full dalton kincade remains limited i think
we're pretty optimistic that he's going to play and we'll talk about like Arizona's got so
many defensive injuries right now uh they're also looking at you know what we'll just get to it during
the games. All right. So we're going to take a break and one question for each game when we come
back. Also, we're in the finals. We'll tell you how to vote when we come back as well.
Be right back. From holiday parties to festive roast by the fire, the holidays are full of
moments to share a drink with friends and family. Being ready for the next morning still matters.
That's why I have to tell you about this game changing product I use. It's called pre-alcohol.
I'll be honest. I'm heading out to a show this weekend in New York City. A lot of money to get there.
It's geese, the most popular band right now on the internet, and I know it's going to be a heavy drinking weekend.
I already know.
So I prepped everything.
You know, I got the ticket ready.
I got my train ticket.
I want to make sure that the day's going to go great.
But then I said, I forgot the most important thing.
And I looked to my cabinet, and there it was the pre-alcohol, so I cannot wait to take that before the concert.
It's going to be a long night, but it's not going to be a long morning with pre-alcohol.
Make the most of every toast this holiday season.
Just don't forget to bring pre-alcohol along for the ride.

One question for each game.
Philadelphia at the Chargers.
Dave, is this going to be a good game for fantasy?
What do you think?
I'm nervous about it.
I don't know if it's going to be a very good game.
We've got an Eagles team that scored 21 or fewer in four straight games.
This might be the toughest defense.
The Chargers have faced since like week three when they took on Denver.
the total isn't very high.
I've got some concerns about it being a bonanza.
I don't think it will be, actually.
I've made a decision just now.
There will not be a game of the week today.
That you're so full of it.
You are so full of a certain type of mushroom.
None of these games deserve it.
None of them on today's slate.
I'll tell you that much.
Yeah, right.
Something's coming.
I even gave you.
I gave you the rope to do it.
Dave.
Earlier on this show.
And you didn't do it.
You were unavailable.
You were unavailable for the Wednesday show.
We previewed the Thursday game.
You took away my game of the week.
I can't go.
Actually, I was going to tell you if the game last night had lived up to expectations,
you should have did like a retroactive game of the week.
That would have been hilarious.
Why didn't you do that, Jamie?
That would have been hilarious.
Because it wasn't the game of the week.
It was the Jemir Gibbs of the week.
All right.
Chicago's at Green Bay.
Can you trust Jamie?
can you trust the Chicago running backs?
Trust?
No. Start?
Yes.
Okay.
Let's go to New Orleans at Tampa Bay.
I'll stay with Jamie here.
Are you going to start a Bucks wide receiver in this game?
I'm starting Abuka no matter what.
So even if Evans comes back,
I still think Abuka's worth using as a number two receiver
and the best games that he's had this season
have been when.
when there's been some level of an alpha
for the most part, early in the year,
it was the best games with Evans.
Not starting Godwin outside of three-receiver leagues,
and I won't start Evans, probably at all.
He'll be a start in three-receiver leagues.
Okay.
Washington's in Minnesota.
Dave, is there a must-start player in this game?
There's a bunch of players that are likely starts,
but to say like a top 12 player
or a top five tight end or a quarterback.
No, there's not.
There really isn't, but no, stop it.
Justin Jefferson is still a number two wide receiver.
There just weren't enough wide receivers that I liked better.
So he's in that mix.
Zach Ertz and PPR is a top 12 tight end.
If you squint real hard, maybe Aaron Jones will make the top 24 running back once
it's clear that he's going to play.
And, oh, wait a minute, wait a minute.
There is one must start.
Terry McLauran.
Well, gosh, have you seen the wide receivers against Minnesota lately, though?
I'm just buying into McLaurin with an upgraded quarterback.
He looked amazing last week.
I can't get away from him.
Yeah.
Jackson Smith and Jig, but just had four targets, but I understand.
Who's a better start at his position?
Jaden Daniels or Terry McLaurin?
It's a close one.
All right.
I would take Daniels.
I think I would too, but I like them both.
All right, the Rams are at the Cardinals.
I'm operating under the assumption that Trey Benson is not playing.
Start or sit Zonovan Knight.
Low end number two running back.
Certainly better if Di Mercado remains out, but I agree.
I think, again, I don't know how many times I've said this on this show and mentioned again yesterday.
I think it's two games since Benson has been out where he has not gotten a
at least 9.4 PPR points.
And so if that's the floor,
you'll take that as a flex all day long.
Yeah.
Yep.
13 or more PPR in three straight,
touchdown in three straight,
three or more catches in three straight.
And this is a high scoring game, I think.
All right,
that's Zonovan Knight we're talking about.
And Seattle's at Atlanta.
Dave,
starters hit Ken Walker.
Reluctantly,
you'll start him as a number two running back.
A lot of involvement in the passing game
lately for Ken Walker.
Walker. We're going to hope that continues. All right, Sunday, join us as we help you set your
lineups from 11 a.m. Eastern until 1 p.m. Eastern at YouTube.com slash fantasy football today.
If you're not busy Sunday morning, why aren't you hanging out with us? We have a good time.
We answer a ton of questions. We give you some clarity. And we'll obviously check the weather, too.
Because I don't know that there's any bad weather this weekend, but there's a lot of cold weather.
Cincinnati at Buffalo might be bad. Oh, man. Come on.
All right.
Could be a snow game.
Yeah.
It's so cold today.
I hate you guys in Florida.
I hate you.
I mean, I'm wearing long sleeves.
My son, we're going to a baseball tournament in central Florida, and it's going to be, I mean, we had a pack, like, sweaters.
That's, like, 65.
How much?
Yeah.
I understand with my family when it's 65 degrees.
They're like, I can't even go outside.
I hate you.
All right.
And then, of course, vote for us, please, at the $64.
Final round, the voting begins today.
We're in the championship.
Let's take it home.
And we have advanced past the Tony Kornheiser show.
We've faced some really, really stiff competition, and now we have the power trip in the finals.
So please vote for fantasy football today.
Go to the 64.com.
It's so easy to vote.
You've gotten us this far.
Let's just go ahead and finish it.
All right, let's go to the Eagles at the Chargers on Monday night.
Here's a wow stat for you here.
have held five straight quarterbacks to 165 or fewer passing yards.
That's Wence, Cam Ward, Rogers, Trevor Lawrence, and Gino Smith.
Wow.
The other group.
Murderers Row.
It's still impressive, though.
And they've seen, for whatever reason, the charges have seen by far the fewest plays
run against them over the last five games, you know, about 48-ish plays per game,
which is insanely low.
So anyway, Jamie, your faith in the Eagles offense,
let's say Jalen Hertz, yeah, all of the Eagles.
I think people are going to struggle to start Goddard.
But the other Eagles, are you putting them in your lineups?
I'm not getting cute with Jalen Hertz, obviously.
He's still been one of the better fantasy quarterbacks.
So top 10 should be there once again.
Stick with the passing game.
AJ Brown's become back to a must-start wide receiver clearly.
And hopefully that continues the targets for the most.
most part have been consistent all season. The production is starting to match that. So top 10 wide
receiver, Devonthe Smith, I think you just treat him as a number two receiver. You know,
Dave was mentioning about Justin Jefferson. Like, I think he's just a low end number two receiver.
You know, last week's game was frustrating. But you know he has the potential to pop off at any time.
And so I think this is going to be a game where they have to throw again because I don't think
this is going to be a great rushing attack for Sequan Barkley because of the offensive line concerns
and how good the chargers have been at times defending the run. We've seen them struggle
the Jacksonville game, for example, they were bad.
But I don't think that Saquan right now is playing well enough because of circumstances.
And last week, not involved in the passing game, was awful.
So he's been now, I think it's four games in a row, 13 PPR points or fewer.
He has not scored a touchdown since week eight, I believe it is.
And so you're looking at a number two running back.
And I know you're still going to start him because it's Sequin Barclay.
He's not in my top 12.
he's not in my top 15.
You know, so I don't, I don't love the setup for him,
which I think lends itself to Jail and Hertz
having to carry the offensive share again.
Yeah, would you start, let's remember we did
R.J. Harvey and Ashton Genty in that game.
Both of them oversake Juan Barclay for me.
In PPR.
I mean, the Chargers run defense,
it wasn't just the Jacksonville game.
It was three straight weeks where they struggled against the run.
And then last week against the Raiders,
they were great against the run.
So, Barkley has,
What did you say?
Yeah, I know.
It's the Raiders and their offensive line is Swiss cheese at this point.
I do agree that the offensive line is an issue for Philadelphia.
If the game script is low scoring back and forth defensive battle, that should open the door for Sequin to at least get north of 15 carries.
Maybe he can average four and a half yards per carry.
Maybe he breaks a couple.
And he hasn't scored since week eight.
So maybe he's due.
Maybe they give him a carry inside the five, but not at the one.
And that gives him a chance to be decent this week.
I'm with Jamie.
I don't think he's a top 12 running back.
But I also agree that everybody's starting Saquan Barclay,
unless you've been waiting for Bucky Irving to come back.
You fell backwards into RJ Harvey.
Something like that would probably be the only way you might actually put
Sequin on your bench.
Okay.
We never really talk about Devante Smith,
but I wanted to bring up on him.
He only has six red zone,
one green zone,
and five end zone target.
only one of the five end zone targets was from closer than 13 yards out.
He has three touchdowns this season, Devante Smith,
and this stat blows my mind.
The Philadelphia Eagles have 14 green zone targets as a team.
Devante Adams has 20.
So it's just hard for Devante Smith to score touchdowns.
It does limit him.
And he's been single-digit fantasy points in, I think, six of 11 games with A.J. Brown.
and the chargers have chargers are really good against wide receivers they're really good
i understand not sitting a j brown but i don't have any devante smith but i imagine i'd be trying
to get away from him yeah he's like if you i'm i'm not starting at knight mitchell or devon
valet or jane higgins like those type of guys over him but i think you can make a strong argument
for jacobby meyers and christian watson and alec pierce and those type of guys because they've been
productive, you know, Pierce for a month, Watson for two of his last three games,
Myers for his last two games, you know, like they're in the case for sure for two of them,
and maybe the case for Pierce now, like they're the number one guys on their team, whereas
Smith clearly is not.
I'll give you the case for Devante Smith.
And I look at him as a low end two wide receiver.
He's Philly's zone beater.
They usually, he usually has better games when they take on predominant zone coverage defenses.
And that's what the charges are.
That's actually a strike against A.J. Brown, who scored last week on man-to-man coverage plays against Chicago.
It's not with a lot of confidence, though, that I would say, all right, you've got to start Devante Smith and sit AJ Brown.
I don't think it's going to be a high-scoring game.
I don't think there's going to be a lot of touchdown opportunities there.
I think if you start, Devante Smith, you're hoping for four or five catches, 75 yards, outside chance that he does break a long one that gives him more like 100 yards or something like that.
But he is the guy that Philadelphia turns to against zone coverage more often than not.
Yeah, he's always got big play potential for sure.
All right.
Assuming, sit Dallas Goddard, you can correct me if I'm wrong.
Chargers are six best against tight ends.
All right.
So that brings us to the Chargers.
And what an interesting, we don't even know who they're quarterback or they're, I guess.
Herbert's playing.
I think Herbert's playing.
He keeps saying that he's preparing as if he's going to play.
I mean, he was taking snaps under center yesterday to try and see how.
how that was going to work.
Unless it's just a significant setback
between now and Monday night, I'd be surprised.
Me too, but there's a lot of uncertainty here
and also uncertainty of how well he's going to play.
If he's even going to be in the game on, say, like, a fourth and one
or if he's going to be able to play under center at all,
they're going to have to take him out for Lance.
And then there's the Hampton situation.
So, Jamie, who are you starting on the Chargers?
So the Jalen Carter News definitely makes things better
for the running back in Los Angeles for the chargers.
Now, the question is, if it's just Vidal, right now I have him as a sit and starts that he
will be removed and you will start him as at least number two running back.
If it's Hampton, I'll probably use Hampton as a low-end number two running back and, you know,
be excited to start him, but we're probably going to see some sort of split, which may not be
even in his favor because of what Vidal has done and what he's coming off of the last game
that he played. So it's going to be a little bit messy. So you hope that if you're the
chargers and the coaching staff there, like what makes the most sense? Best defensive run stop
are missing for Philadelphia, quarterback with broken hand. First round running back comes back
to health and you have a guy in his backup that's been playing well run the ball a lot. And so
could we see sort of a Chicago game plan of just a lot of both running backs and maybe both
have the chance to be successful,
that remains to be seen
because this offensive line
is not as good as Chicago's.
But I think there's opportunities here
because of Carter not being there
to lean on their ground game.
So I'll treat Hampton as a low-end number two running back
and Vidal is at best of flex.
If Vidal is by himself,
I think he's a number two running back
and you should have some confidence in him
because of what the situation is.
But really, this is the best that we've seen Fideau.
And so however you think this game is going to play out,
but the best we've seen by out
is when they've won by double digits.
Aside from the Miami game,
that's when he's been as best.
So,
yeah,
Pittsburgh game,
they won by 10 plus points.
Last week's game,
by 10 plus points.
There's one that I missed
before Jacksonville,
where they had a double-digit win.
Vikings,
Vikings,
you know,
so when he's been at his best
is when they've dominated time of possession,
when they've had opportunities
to play with a lead.
They're two and a half-point favorites at home.
And...
Two and a half-point dogs.
Two-and-half point.
Underdogs, yes.
Um, that, that's tough to say that that's the best situation for Vidal.
Right.
Okay.
There's another problem.
And you touched on it, Jamie, but I, I thought the offensive line for the Chargers,
while it was maybe a tad better than where it was before they're by, I don't think
they were great blocking on runs.
And I think they wore down against the pass rush as the game went on.
And that was against the Raiders.
And now it's Philadelphia and I get it.
No Jalen Carter.
I obviously, that's a good thing for the Chargers, although like a hurt Jalen Carter might,
have hurt the Eagles more than if he just hadn't played.
Byron Young will take his place, I think, on the defensive line, and he and Jordan
Davis to play more snaps.
I am worried about that offensive line creating space for either running back.
And they might have to get it done like catching the ball.
And I wonder if that's where the Chargers try and go with that.
And so one of the things I need to look at is how have running back's done catching
passes against Philadelphia this year.
And can that be something the Chargers can take advantage of because that's something
that both Vidal and Omar and Hampton can do.
I mean, it's some good, some bad.
I'm looking at it right now.
I figured it was going to be like that.
They allow the six most receiving yards per game to running backs, the Eagles.
But it's not, you know, like it's not everybody.
It's not like bad pass catching running backs have good games against them.
Okay.
Finishing up here on this game, Ladd-McConkey is probably the best start for the Chargers.
He's a top 20 wide receiver.
He's in between A.J. Brown and Devante Smith.
I don't think we want to start Quentin Johnston.
O'Ronday Gadsden is about 12th in the rankings.
Heath is a little bit higher, has him ninth, Jamie 11th, 13th for Dave on Arronday Gatston.
Eagles are great against tight ends.
They allow the fourth fewest fantasy points.
So you can start, correct me of my wrong, start Brenton Strange and Dalton Schultz over Gatston this week?
Yep, yep.
Start Joanne Johnson over Gatston?
Yep, yep.
Kyle Pitts, if London's out?
100%.
All right.
Yeah.
I just think you have to have some hesitation with this Chargers offense.
given the fact that their quarterback has a broken hand
and their offensive line is bad.
And if for any reason Herbert does not play,
I don't know how you could feel good starting any pass catcher.
True.
Oh, for sure.
Yeah, but the problem is you've got to make that decision on Sunday,
and we won't know.
Barkley or Joanne Johnson, full PPR.
Barkley.
No, Barclay, but my gosh, this is where we are.
A.J. Brown or Quinn Sean Judkins, PPR?
AJ Brown.
I'd go, AJ Brown.
Devante Smith or Brian Thomas, Jr.,
Devante.
I mean, you could have said
Breschard Smith
and I might have gone that way.
Zay Flowers or Devante Smith.
Devante.
I would start
Devante Smith over A.J. Brown
based off Dave's info.
No.
Dave didn't.
I can't even,
I can't do that either
just because the Chargers
won't play zone
every single snap.
And that's,
I mean,
that's the thing.
All it takes is a handful
of man-to-man coverage snaps
and Hertz catches him
and A.J. Brown goes to town.
Harvey or Vidal
Harvey
Agreed
If Hampton's out though
Which we don't expect
Harvey Harvey okay
Kamani Vidal or Kareem Hunt
Did Vidal just do well against
The Raid is
On one huge run
Vidal or Kareem Hunt
Bydell
Unless it's Hampton
I might take Vidal
Over Hunt anyway
And Hertz or Burrow
4 point per passing touchdown
bro Joe all right start the Eagles DST charges DST
next game Chicago's at Green Bay
here is your pace alert
Caleb Williams is on pace for 3,856 yards
it doesn't look like we're going to get a 4,000 yard passer
for the first time in Bears history all right
stat of the game
these are the Bears running back carries
since week six they had a buy in week five
they got very run heavy after that
Now, remember, they're splitting pretty close to 50-50.
So here's the running back carries game by game for the Bears.
20, 33, 18, 31, 20, 34, 20, 40.
It's kind of, Dave won't Powerball.
See you, guys.
I'm going to an island.
You know what I'm getting at here.
We need one of the 38 carry games, not one of the 20 carry games.
So this is another tough game.
Jamie, who do you trust in this game other than Josh Jacobs?
Again, trust is the key word here.
I'm starting D'Andre Swift.
I would flex Kyle Monongai.
I would start Romo Dunzee in three receiver leagues, assuming he's healthy.
And I'm starting Christian Watson in most likely all leagues at this point, but certainly three receiver leagues.
So, and I think Jordan Love is worth starting to.
So, like, you have some starts.
But, again, the word trust, it's probably just Jacobs.
Yeah.
Oh, I hate this game.
I feel like it could be really low scoring.
Like, I trust Dave, but I like you also, Adam.
Like, there's, there's, there's.
Yeah, I understand.
I wouldn't trust me either.
Packers are six and a half point favorites.
Bears are going to try to run the ball on a team that's missing DeVante Wyatt now.
That's big.
Yeah, I've got a couple games without Devante.
Yeah, a couple games without Devante Wyatt.
Wyatt earlier this year for the Packers.
Chase Brown had nine carries for 42 yards.
Samaj Pirine, six for 16.
And then Bam Knight had 14 carries for 57 yards.
Michael Carter had seven carries for 11 yards.
So it didn't have a huge effect in those two games,
but those were not good run offenses.
At that point, Cincinnati was not.
Arizona hasn't been.
So a different challenge this time against the Chicago Bears.
Plus, Ben Johnson knows this defense.
You know, it's a, it's a familiarity of how to attack it.
And I think just based on how this offensive line is performing and how these running
backs are performing and again, missing one of their best defensive linemen, like there's
an opportunity here for them to build off what they did last week.
And for the most part, DeAndre Switz has been awesome.
You know, so he had the one blip two games ago, you know, so you're talking about a guy
that should be trusted as a number two running back.
It's just the splits and how this game could potentially go.
Yeah.
He also had a game with 21 carries for 90 yards at Minnesota,
which ends up being a really good real game,
but a bad fantasy game because these guys are not catching passes lately.
Caleb Williams is just not throwing to his running backs.
It lasts three games, almost like six running back targets
or something crazy like that.
Dave, Barclay or Swift?
Barkley over Swift because I don't think Barclay's going to split much.
And Swift, I worry about him scoring,
even though he did score against Philly last week.
The only advantage that Swift has over Monongai as far as I'm concerned is if the bears are trailing,
that's when you'll see Swift play more than Monong guy.
Short of that, they're going to rotate.
I think that matters here based on the spread and where they are.
I agree, because the spread seems a little funny, right?
You'd think that it would be a closer spread.
I mean, the bears are the better team based on record.
And you would think that that's not a six and a half point underdog on the road.
That's probably a three and a half point underdog on the road.
Yeah, I'm surprised that it's a six and a half point spread.
Yeah, I think some of that is pumped up by narrative because a lot of people just do not believe that the bears are as good as their record says they are.
The bears are healthier on defense now with T.J. Edwards limited at practice, but also they got two defensive backs back last week.
A.J. Brown towards them. Yes, but still helps.
Here's their biggest problem is they still can't rush the quarterback. Their past rush. It's been, it's been anywhere from,
so, so to bad for, God, it's probably going on like a half, ever since I got rid of
Khalil Mack. And Jordan Love, and an example of this was last week, anytime he has time
to throw down field, he's going to take it. And I think he's going to have time. And that's what
makes me encouraged to start Jordan Love as a top 10 quarterback this week. It makes me
encouraged to take the chance on Christian Watson to catch a couple of deep throws. I don't
care who's covering him. Christian Watson cannot run anybody and Jordan Love can get in the ball.
So I think as long as the weather cooperates,
we're going to see a bunch of shots from Love downfield,
and I think it'll pay off for the Packers.
All right, because I was going to ask,
why are you so high on, or just high on Jordan Love?
And Christian Watson.
So, all right, that's a good answer.
Yeah, the particulars on that are in this week's lineup decisions
if you want to read it on CBSSports.com or on the free CBS Sports app.
I think the best part about Watson is 17 targets in his last two games.
Like, if you know he's getting opportunities, this is awesome.
That's always been his downfall, is that they don't give him chances.
And giving him chances is certainly what we've been begging for.
Now, you may have a crowd of receiving court this week if Jayden Reed and Matthew Golden play,
but I don't know how they go away from Watson.
So it's a shift in philosophy for them since Tucker Craft has gone down because they don't have that threat anymore.
The tight end position has been nonexistent from them.
And so, you know, you get a potential.
wildcard here with dantavian wicks who had a great game last week and does have seven plus
targets into his last four so can he be involved and if he's involved you'll consider him as a potential
option in three or serial leagues but then again if we have reed and golden playing like it's hard to
say all these guys are going to get the same chances that they have been getting you know so romeo
dives becomes even more risky wicks is certainly somebody you can't trust i wouldn't rush read back into
a lot of fancy lineups yet and matthew golden's clearly been a bust maybe in reality too i don't want to
say that because too soon, but they have not gotten their return on investment for drafting
a wide receiver in the first round for the first time since 2002. I'm just hopeful that Watson
still is locked into his role, which I can't imagine will change. So just given the opportunities
here, I think there's a chance for him to be a good number two wide receiver. I could imagine
it changing because it changes all the time in Green Bay. It looked like Romeo Dobbs had a solidified
role and now Christian Watson's there. And Jaden... He's the... We said this since they drafted him. Like,
He's the difference maker that this team needed.
But he's also a mega downfield guy, and it's like, and those guys aren't super reliable.
He doesn't get, he gets hardly any layups, any easy targets, is Christian Watson I'm talking about.
He is your highest.
But again, we talked about this with Alec Pierce yesterday.
Like, if you say he's getting, so split the, take the average, if that's going to happen, again, we don't know.
But if that's going to happen, if he's getting eight plus targets this week?
Of course.
But what if that number is five?
Yeah.
What if they're on the ball?
I get it, but there's a two-game sample sizes of him being more involved.
And it coincides with trying to figure out what to do without Tucker Kraft there.
They didn't really have an answer.
Jordan Love looked lost for a couple games.
And this might be their best player.
Yeah, I hope so.
But again, if Reed comes back, if Golden comes back, that could affect it.
But they don't do the same things he does.
Golden does, but he's not the same guy.
It doesn't really, yeah, I get that.
But it could take targets away.
I think that's what you're saying out of it.
Of course, yeah, they could take their, and they could just throw less.
Because if they're actually six and a half point favorites,
that's probably another one of these games
where Jordan Love's not throwing 30 times,
which is what makes me nervous about Jordan Love.
We disagree.
I don't know, public disagrees.
Vegas certainly disagrees.
We don't think that they're going to run away from the Bears.
I don't think so either.
But I do think that they're going to run the ball a ton
and Love rarely throws more than 30 times.
But all right, anyway, it's not like you guys have Watson in your top 15.
He's in the top 30.
He is the highest ranked wide receiver in this game
ahead of Romo Dunezay.
Let's finish off with some questions from the chat.
Start the Green Bay DST.
If you must.
They're not one of my favorites.
Jaden Daniels and Jordan or Jordan Love.
I have love hire.
I'm hammered with Week 14 buys.
Is it crazy to start Swift and Monongai?
No, I wish I did that last week instead of the Steelers
and the one team where I have both backcills.
Yeah, like if your other options are like Woody Marks
or basal tootin, Titans running back.
I have no problem going with both bears running backs.
Yeah, just the caution flag on Menangai is he scores a lot.
But if he doesn't score, he's getting almost zero catches, typically, right?
He's typically getting zero catches and not that many carries.
So it's risky.
Swift or Ken Walker?
Swift.
Swift.
O'Doonzee or Flowers?
I think I have flowers higher.
I'll take flowers.
Kyle Menangai, T. Higgins.
or Aaron Jones.
No, that's because that's Jaden Higgins,
let's just say.
Because it's a T, that's easy.
Menangai, Jaden Higgins, or Aaron Jones, PPR.
If Jones plays, I'll take him.
I think I would agree.
Swift or Jalen Waddle?
PPR, I'd go Waddle.
Caleb Williams or Lamar Jackson?
Four point.
I have Caleb ahead of Lamar as of now.
Two spots ahead.
Pick two, Olave, T. Higgins, Christian Watson.
The first two.
The first two.
Romeo Dobbs or Troy Franklin or Jawan Johnson, half PPR.
I might go Jawan.
I would go Jowon, too, but I would not cut Troy Franklin yet.
O'Donzei or Jocobie Myers?
Myers.
I like Jocobie.
Okay.
Christian Watson or Adonai Mitchell?
Watson.
Watson.
But Adonai Mitchell laughs at Christian Watson's targets over the last two games.
And yeah, we start the Packers' DST, but the Bears are actually really good against DSTs.
They don't turn the ball over much.
All right, we're going to take a break, and we got four games for you.
Saints at Bucks when we come back on Fantasy Football today.
New Orleans at Tampa Bay, five of the last six quarterbacks to face the Saints have been bad.
Four of them have been terrible, including Baker Mayfield.
And by the way, only six wide receivers have more than six targets all season long against the Saints.
they see the second fewest pass attempts in the NFL.
Dave, does that make you nervous?
Because I think Bucky Irving is a layup here,
but does that make you nervous about the passing game
and starting those guys, everyone from Baker on down against New Orleans?
I mean, we did see this a couple of weeks ago
when the Bucks went in there and their defense played great,
had some turnovers and scored,
and Baker didn't have to do a whole lot in the game against them.
And that was the end of that.
Baker didn't have a great fantasy game.
he had a good game overall for i mean he helped the bucks win and we've seen a lot of games
like that this year yeah it's it's really interesting the bucks i think they want to run
and they're struggling to pass the buccaneers in their last six games are averaging about
185 passing yards per game it's insane it's so bad uh so jamie give me give me a reason
why i should start a meca abuka targets i mean they they've been constantly
You know, so you hope at some point they're going to be, there's going to be a big play or potentially, too, or he finds the end zone.
It's just been frustrating, you know, so you know what the town is.
You know, we'll see if Evans and or McMillan play this week and how that potentially changes some of the things that are happening in Tampa Bay and, you know, Chris Godwin continuing to improve.
But I do think that there's just still so much potential on upside.
Like, it's hard to say he's a sit.
So I think you just treat him as a number two receiver, you know, similar, you know, to me a little bit better.
similar to Devante Smith, similar to Michael Pittman, you know,
these type of guys that have shown you,
Column Sutton, you know,
shown you great production at times this season,
going to be heavily involved.
But unfortunately, there's just, you know,
been a stretch right now for a Bucca where he's just not connecting.
But I do think, you know, Baker showed that he's healthy.
And that's a plus.
He's been much better home this year than on the road.
His history against New Orleans, you know,
you throw out the week 10 game, week eight game, whatever it was.
um prior to that he had dominated this team now granted different coach but still dominated this team
and so hopefully history history and scenario assuming there's no rain or a issue with weather
like we can get a big baker mayfield game here they should be able to do whatever they want to
like there is a chance of rain chance of rain yeah they they should be able to do what they want to
i know i know new orleans and what the numbers say but like i don't trust this defense and i think
you know, when the Bucs are healthy, certainly their offensive line has been getting there.
Like, this, if you want to play this out from a, you know, most optimistic standpoint,
this is throw the score a run to win.
And, you know, they put up points early with the passing game and then Bucky Irving seals it.
I wonder if the Buc's defense isn't good enough to completely shut down Tyler Shuck.
Yes, it is.
I think they're good enough to shut down the run game.
I don't know if they can
I think Shucks played all right
I don't know he's I don't disagree
with Shuck playing well but this defense
also like you know you're still
a young quarterback and you're going to get the
Todd Bulls exotic blitz pack
Oh for sure you know so right but Shuck
is going to try and beat that by just getting the ball
out fast and I would imagine there's going to be a bunch
of schemed up throws kind of like what
we saw with Velae last week on all the inbreakers
that he had I just I wonder
if the Saints do enough push
the Bucks enough where they can't
just say, all right, this is going to be a lot of Bucky, a little bit of Rashad White,
tiny bit of Sean Tucker, and we just run our way to victory.
I think it could be a little bit different this time around, and that makes me a little bit
more encouraged about Tampa's offense, having to do more than just throw 24 times, and maybe
Baker's a top top.
I have a hard time with quarterbacks once you get past Jaden Daniels, and he's the top
quarterback i have after jaden daniels all right so let's we'll just do some this guy or this guys
but also all right where is amechabuka in your rankings guys around 15 i got him 21st
where will he be if mike evans plays to where dave has him probably right where i have him
maybe a little bit lower and i might even move him a little bit lower even if evans doesn't play where
will you rank mike evans if he plays
low end number three receiver right now where a godwin is which is around 30 godwin is about 30 for jamie
dave where's godwin for you he's at 36 i think he's still an okay number three wide receiver this week
that's probably and i i i still right i'd have to move him down if heaven's plays but i'd still
stand by what i saw last week i thought he played well and so i wonder if if the saints
pushed the bucks could there be more in store for godwin so i'm kind of couching it by having
just to remember Evans is going to average 200 yards again
he doesn't play this week then it's got to be like
225 yards per game or whatever it would be we've talked about
monongai let's say kareem hunt woody marks
i'll start bucky irving over those guys yes
would you start devon neal over those guys uh what's the names again
kareem hunt against the texans woody marks against the chiefs i'll take neal and
Kyle Menangai.
I'll take Menangai.
Neil and PPR
haunt marks.
How about Devin Neil
Bevorzad?
It's going.
That's not bad.
Yeah.
He's scored 10 and 11
fantasy points in his last two games.
He's had eight catches
in those two games.
Now here's a tricky one for you.
Is that a Superman movie
or a Batman movie?
It's a Superman movie.
It's a Superman movie.
Or both.
Why would it be a Batman movie?
Was that in Batman versus Superman or something?
But it was in Superman first.
But Zod was dead. Spoiler.
Oh.
All right.
By the way, Tyler Shuck has thrown 37 passes in the fourth quarter of the last two games combined.
It has been a big time quarter for them playing catch up.
19 and 18 pass attempts.
Those skips.
Start Olave, he's the man.
Devon Valey with 15 targets.
And I bring this up for Veylay because Vailet has benefited from this, right?
15 targets in the last two games, and they've thrown about 40 passes per game.
I can't expect that necessarily.
But Velae or Godwin?
Godwin.
Right now, Godwin is at 30.
Veilet is at 37 for me, if I'm not mistaken.
They will be close if Evans does play.
Joanne Johnson is top seven.
You wouldn't start him over, say, Travis Kelsey, would you?
No.
No.
Would you start him over Dalton Schultz?
No.
All right.
So a yes and a no,
Schultz versus Joanne Johnson.
Brenton Strange.
No.
Over Joanne and Schultz.
Strange over Johnson and Schultz.
Kyle Pitts.
Right now I have Pitts and Joanne Johnson back to back.
I may switch that just because Pitts may have more upside.
Yeah, especially in PPR.
I think you can see that.
The concern is Juan Johnson still had a lot of targets last week
and that was awesome.
But if Devon Valet is going to,
to continue to make inroads, does that mean that
Joanne Johnson watches
his target share drop? I just don't know
how that's possible where Velae had his best, most
targets, and so did Joanne Johnson. Yeah,
that's the fair point, but it wasn't a great
game for Joanne Johnson despite all the targets.
I'm going to
make a cool. And then how many times do we see
Olavé get only seven targets?
I'm going to make a bold call.
And that is
Baker Mayfield's going to outscore Patrick Mahomes.
I have it ranked that way.
Oh, you do?
I don't have a.
I haven't ranked that way, but it wouldn't surprise me.
Let's see what the chat is asking here.
We'll move on to our next game.
Chris Godwinner, Brian Thomas Jr.
Adam Lee, 2730, got the reference.
Dodds-Zod.
Oh.
I can't look at it right now.
I'm looking at the starred ones.
But Godwinner, Brian Thomas Jr.
I have BTJ a spot iron.
Yeah, again, if you were to say, I can't think of anything off Godwin.
But, yeah, no one.
Brian Thomas Jr. just can't be trusted.
Godwin or Zodwin.
Joanne Johnson or Kincaid?
I'll still go John Johnson in PPR.
I won't.
I'll take Kincaid.
Devin Neal, Chris Rodriguez, Adonai Mitchell in PPR.
In that word?
I'll take Mitchell.
Chris Godwin or T. Higgins.
That's going to be T. Higgins.
Chris Godwin or Mike Evans.
I would go Evans over Godwin.
I probably would too.
Devon Veilay or T. Higgins?
Or what?
Vellet, maybe that's Jaden Higgins, yeah.
I'll take Jaden Higgins over Devon Higgins.
Higgins is safer.
One of them actually said T. Higgins.
This one is definitely Jaden Higgins.
Baker or Jalen Hertz?
It hurts right now.
Same.
Would you start Devin Neal over Sequan Barclay or Bam Knight?
No.
No.
Would you start Devin Neal or John Mecci, non-P-R?
Neal.
Devin, Neal.
Probably Neal.
Abuka or Sutton?
Coral and Sutton.
Abuton or Watson?
Abuka or Watson?
I think I have Watson hire.
Abuka.
All right.
Let's go on to our next game here.
Bucks DST, by the way, you can start.
Don't start Kate Otton, right?
Done with him?
Definitely do not start him if Mike Evans plays.
Borderline starter at best if Evans is still up.
Bucks DST is top 11.
Washington is at Minnesota.
that of the game, only one wide receiver
has scored double-digit
PPR fantasy points against the Vikings
in their last four games.
That was Zay-Flowers. It's none in the last three.
What's that?
It's none in the last three.
Zay-Flowers had four catches for 75 yards.
No Bears receivers, no Packers' receivers,
no Seattle receivers
scored double-digit fantasy points.
You should have said Seattle receiver.
Yeah, against Minnesota.
And, yeah,
so how do you?
How do you, Jamie, how do you feel about Terry McLaurin?
I mean, look, a lot of it is circumstantial.
You know, so what happened with the Minnesota offense last week dictated, I think,
a lot of what happened with the Seattle offense.
So I'm hoping, and it's a big leap of faith here,
but as bad as Max Brosmer was, that we get better performance from J.J. McCarthy,
which at least he's been better than that.
So if the Vikings can score here and the Washington defense clearly is still terrible,
I know they play a little bit better than expected.
last week, but they're still terrible, that we have to see the Washington offense.
And as Dave alluded to, you know, hopefully better quarterback play, not that Marcus
Marty had played bad last week, so they played great.
But better quarterback play helps these wide receivers.
But I do think that you're hoping for McLaurin to play more, which he should.
You know, last week he didn't have his usual participation rate.
That being said, what he's done in his last two healthy games, scored against Kansas City,
not an easy matchup, dominated Denver, which we know is never easy.
And so now you're going to, you know, what you might consider just based on numbers, a step up in competition.
I don't know if I agree with that, but certainly a good defense here.
So as long as they can protect Jane Daniels, then I think he has an opportunity here to connect with McClorin more so than I do with Debo Samuel.
I know Samuel will run routes close to line scrimmage and he'll get, you know, chances to touch the ball.
But what he's done with McLaurin healthy, the last three games, last week was the best performance.
And it took the quarterback throwing 50 times.
I doubt they want to see Jane Daniels throw the ball 50.
50 times. So to me, Debo is at best the number three receiver. I'll take a chance on McCorn as a
number two guy, but this is not going to be easy by any stretch. Washington is 26th and past attempts
per game, and they're three and nine. So that's just kind of weird that they haven't been
throwing more. Chris Rodriguez or Devin Neal, I bet they're pretty close. I mean, it's definitely
a format thing, you know, so PPR, it's easy to go Neal over Rodriguez, non-PPR, Rodriguez over Neal.
the Vikings have given up touchdowns to running backs.
And that's the thing you hope for for Rodriguez,
because that's the only thing that's going to help Rodriguez.
If he doesn't score, his best game is what he did against Miami,
where he got you 70s, some odd rushing yards.
He happened to catch his only pass of the season on his second target of the season.
One came after that game.
So at that point, that was his first target on the year,
and he caught his pass for six yards.
So you're talking about eight PPR points, seven PPR points at best.
If he doesn't score, he's been 11 to 12 carries in two of the last three games.
You know, one of those he left with an injury.
But I think you just hope that he finds the end zone because if not, he's not going to help you.
I don't think this is going to be a Vikings blowout win.
So the commander should be able to keep the run game involved in their offense.
And with Jane Daniels back, I'm hoping for a spike in efficiency for Rodriguez,
where maybe he can average four, 4.3 yards per carry.
You can't count on them for the catches.
But I think that he'll have an opportunity to score.
I like him better than Neil even in PPR.
Oh, man.
All right.
So rank the wide receivers, Jamie, in this game.
McLaurin 1, Jefferson 2, Debo 3, Addison 4, nobody else after.
The thing about Jefferson is that last week he had such a low target share, but he was at least getting usually a decent amount of targets, usually 9.
You should throw out last week.
Of course.
I am with McCar.
You're talking about it.
No, I said.
I was getting there.
With McCarthy, he gets usually a very good amount of targets, usually nine or more.
It's playing Washington here, baby.
Like, let's go.
His next three opponents are 28th, 32nd, 29th, and then 31st.
His next four opponents are 28th or worse against wide receivers.
Not that matchup necessarily matters,
because their offense is completely broken,
but Jefferson, like, I'm going to guess at least 12 PPR fantasy points.
Yeah.
And that's a starter these days.
Yep.
I mean, you would, you're begging for that.
Like, between him and Seekwon Barkley, like, you know there's so much upside.
And, you know, for Berkeley, it's opportunities and offensive line.
For Jefferson, Clay, it's the quarterback.
This, I mean, imagine if he had a good quarterback for that stretch of games that you just like.
Like, we'd be top two, top three for what he's typically been able to produce.
So hopefully that this is a chance for McCarthy.
Like, this is a very soft landing spot.
Home game, terrible defense.
Not a lot of pressure should be in his face.
the offensive line is getting healthier.
Like everything is sort of trending in the right direction
that he could finish the season strong, which, you know,
I'm sorry, Thomas is near.
Like, he could have one of these, you know,
Mac Jones-esque finishes and you're like,
is he still our guy next year?
And they don't know.
You know, they don't really have the answer, I think.
But hopefully that's the case because then that's a benefit for Jefferson
and hopefully Addison as well.
I just think for Jefferson, similar to Barclay,
like you're not benching him.
You know, you're certainly not benching him for the Adonai
Mitchells of the world.
and you're probably not benching him
for the Alec Pierce's
and Christian Watson of the world.
I can understand if you wanted to
because those guys have been playing better.
But I think you just sort of say,
okay, this is Justin Jefferson.
I have FOMO if I bench him.
And hopefully McCarthy plays well enough
in a matchup that he should have success.
Any interest in T.J. Hawkinson this week?
No.
You'd have to be pretty desperate at tight end.
And Brent and Strange, Dalton Schultz,
Johnson, they'd all have to be gone
from your waiver wire.
How about Zach Earth, Dave?
I think that he could be in line for another like five-catch 50-yard game, maybe catch a touchdown.
Jane Daniels loves throwing to him.
He's usually the number two read on like every single play.
I'm excited about Jaden Daniels, but a word of caution, the last four quarterbacks against the Vikings.
Lamar Jackson, 16.6 fantasy points.
Caleb Williams, 10.3.
That's good for Lamar.
Caleb Williams, 10.3. Jordan loves 7.1. He only threw 21 times. Sam Donald, three.
three point one.
I believe they've allowed
one touchdown pass
in their last four games.
It's risky
because what version
of day and downs
are we getting
has not played great
this season.
Again,
pass rush is going to
be an issue for him.
They're going to make
him uncomfortable.
For sure.
You know,
low end starter.
Question,
Preset or Daniels?
Preset.
Bobby.
Christian Watson or Jefferson?
Jefferson.
I'll take the upside
with Watson.
I'll go Jefferson.
Drop Daniel Jones for Jaden Daniels?
100%.
Jaden Daniels, Brissette, or Burrow?
Burrow.
Joe Burrow.
Didn't we say Burrow has weather concerns?
Is that a thing?
Snow is one thing.
It's got to be like free.
That's the game of the week.
Yeah.
That was good.
The bagels at the bills.
It's a snowy game of the week, baby.
Baby.
That's the game of the week.
Hey.
See, the thing that always makes this fun for me and, you know, a good guessing game for a day.
Dave never watches Adam. I always see what Adam does.
I know when Adam reaches for the board, like when, and the goofy grin that he had when he was going to do it.
Yeah.
All right.
Let me fire through a few more here.
Dave also doesn't catch on to the pause.
Like for two years now, there's a little pause as Adam.
I think I sold that pretty well.
You sold that one really well.
That's a 10 out of 10.
That was great.
It's snowing there, right?
We have some weather concerns.
I didn't throw it to Dave, though.
If I throw it to Dave, then that kind of gives it away.
Dave just took it there, which is good.
You would have had me.
You would have had it either way.
By the way, I just, I realized just now that like 60% of the lyrics to the game of the week song are the words game of the game.
I know.
Addison or Dobbs, PPR.
Dobbs.
Romeo.
Daniels or Nick's, rest of C.
We'll skip that.
Rodriguez or Adonai Mitchell, PPR.
Adonai Mitchell
Mitchell
Richard
Oh I didn't talk about
crap
I can't skip this game
We have to talk about
The running backs
For the Vikings
I skip them
It says Mason or Vidal
Jamie
Give me your thoughts
On these running backs
With or without Aaron Jones
And with it without Hampton
Yeah
If Jones plays
And Hampton doesn't
It's Vidal
If Jones is out
And Hampton's out
And Hampton's out
I would still go Mason over Vidal.
If Jones is in and Hampton is in,
I would go with Vidal over Mason.
Although I do think that Mason has an opportunity here.
This Washington run defense has not been good.
And they did do a good job in terms of yards per carry against the Broncos last week.
I don't know how much of that, though,
is just R.J. Harvey and not hitting the hole the right way.
In the case of Mason, like we may see a little bit more Mason than we've seen recently
because of Jones with the shoulder injury and Jones may be used on passing downs.
Like if you remember how the season started, it was a lot of Jordan Mason and just, you know,
Jones was sprinkled in as a rusher, but more of a pass catcher and obvious passing down situation.
So we may get back to that.
So I don't think Jordan Mason's horrible if Aaron Jones plays.
But obviously Jordan Mason would be fantastic.
Like I honestly considered, you know, before we got the report earlier in the week that Jones was day-to-day,
I thought Jordan Mason was going to be my start of the week.
Like I love the setup for him.
You know, what he averaged in the four games that Jones was.
out 14 and a half ppr points like he was solid you know a couple games there he wasn't great but
two of that were awesome and i think just based on how this game flow was going to go darrow saw back
offensive line a little bit better washington still going through some struggles offensively even with
dan was still there so um for me i was i was very excited about jordan mason so it wouldn't bother me
so much if they gave erin jones a week off if aaron jones plays is he the best running back at
this game yeah i would consider that yeah i mean jordan mason would be the number one running back
game if there's a well that's easy if there's no jones but if aaron jones plays would you start
him over sequoan barclay no would you start him over um how about a wide receiver like
a mecca buca no also no how about if aaron jones or romo dunze at green bay
i would go jones over dundsay it would be close but yes i would agree
All right.
Let's go to our next game here.
You can start the Vikings' DST.
Eh, no.
They're not, no.
It's a little worse now with Jay and Daniels back.
All right, we have two games left.
Can we do them in five minutes, guys?
What do you think?
Are they crappy games?
Yeah, they've all been crappy games.
Rams are at the Cardinals.
This isn't a crappy game.
We know what we're doing with the Rams, but, I mean,
the Cardinals are, what, three and nine or something?
They suck.
This is a good fantasy game.
This is not a good real-life game.
All right, so any concerns about the fact that Matthew...
This is a surprise bonanza.
Matthew Stafford is facing a top 10 defense against quarterbacks,
and every time he's faced one, he's struggled, every time, including...
I don't think there's the same defense, though.
Yeah, they've got a horrible injury report.
Josh Sweat, Max Melton, and some other guys.
I don't know if those guys are going to play.
You look, Baker last week, and, you know, I guess we should have brought this up with Baker.
Godwin drops a touchdown.
Rashad White has a touchdown called back.
Yeah, receiving touchdown call back.
He could have had a better fantasy game.
And then that would have been three straight games of two plus touchdowns
allowed to opposing quarterbacks for the Cardinals.
Whereas we saw the very strange game from Trevor Lawrence,
three touchdowns, three interceptions, but over 20 fantasy points.
And then the game after that, I forget that they played.
But, you know, another quarterback had a big game against them.
All right.
So start Stafford.
He's top three.
Start Adams.
Start Puka.
Don't start Kobe Parkinson.
although Arizona is a great matchup.
So if you're desperate,
Parkinson gets four to five targets every game, basically.
Kieran Williams,
start or sit, Dave?
Like, confidence start or what?
I think you're starting him because he's still the primary running back.
The edge is obviously much smaller than it was once upon a time,
but he's still the primary running back for a Rams offense
that's expected to put up points that's taking on a Cardinals defense
that has looked terrible against the running.
pretty much all year.
Bucky Irving,
first game back in forever,
looked like an absolute rock star against them.
I don't think that Kyron Williams
will look like that.
But I think you can score
and I think he can get you 60, 70 yards.
Maybe he breaks a couple of longer runs
as an efficient day.
I don't mind him as a low end number one runner.
I think the one thing,
if you buy into the point spread,
then Kyron dealing with some sort of injury,
Blake Quorum could be a sneaky flex play this week
because he's going to get a seven plus carries.
and may get a little additional playing time late in the game.
So it wouldn't surprise me if he has one of these fourth quarter touchdowns
and maybe 13, 14 carries.
He's essentially Tyler Aljir because he just never catches the ball.
So you could be looking at a four.
I think he has two games of more than six points this year in PPR, Blake Quorum,
including last week.
All right, that's the Rams.
Now, Brissette, you guys have sixth.
Well, here's a question.
Jacobi Brisset, Jordan Love, or Jaden Daniels?
Brissette.
Berset followed by love followed by Daniels
Berset or Burrow
This is one that I struggled with right now
Burroughs 5 and Percet is 6
I would still go with Joe Burrow
Just yeah I have it the exact same way
Okay
So you guys are starting Percetta over the homes right
Seeing snow potential but the wind may not be an issue for Burrow
We have to keep it on it
So the key is if it's if there isn't wind
And there's snow it's how bad is the snow coming down
Is it impacting the visibility
And as long as it's not impacting the visibility,
then Burrow might be even better.
Let's go over to Zonovan Knight.
I mean, the thing is,
DiMarcato was kind of eating into his role
before DeMarcato got hurt.
So it bothers me a little bit,
but I feel like maybe Knight's done a good enough job.
That's what I think, yeah.
I think DiMercato takes Carter Spott.
You would think.
So Bam Knight or Aaron Jones?
So that's where I was thinking
when you asked that question
about where Jones would go.
Right now, night is 23 for me.
I probably would put Jones right behind him if DiMercato is out.
If DeMercato is in and Jones gets a full practice in on Friday,
I might go Jones over damn thing.
Is it just as simple with the receivers as saying,
start the number one guy and the number two guy is kind of a number three receiver in fantasy?
For the car.
Unless that receiver is Xavier Weaver,
in which case I don't think I'd feel very good about even,
I'd pick him up in the day.
deepest of leagues, you know, 16 teams, 25 bench spots.
It would have to be something ridiculous like that.
If Harrison and Dorcher out.
Correct.
Because I don't think, I don't think Weaver can do what Harrison and Dorch can do.
Could he get five catches in the game?
Maybe.
But I think that it would just lead to just ship all of the targets to Trey McBride
and Michael Wilson.
And Jamie did a great job pointing this out on Tuesday, I believe it was.
The Rams defense is going, oh, starting all these Cardinals guys against the
The Rams defense, they're so much better at home than they are on the road.
And they're not bad on the road necessarily, but a road game against a good offense,
they've actually struggled in that spot.
Not even like good offense.
I mean, last week was, I would say, mediocre offense.
And Bryce Young had a great game.
And the running backs, you know, that'll not great, but, you know, still got an opportunity
for 20 carries, 20 touches.
And obviously, Chuba Hubbard had a monster game, you know.
So I think you're just looking at it, you know, so in Dave's scenario here,
potentially no Dorch and no Harrison, like, you know where the.
ball is going, which we love, you know, for Trade McBride and Michael Wilson, you know,
we've seen that already in two games without Marvin Harrison. So the, the, the tough call
would be, could you go to Dorch? You know, so we know what Michael Wilson is. He's going to get
his chances, you know, whether you think he's top 10, top 20, you're starting him if Harrison's not there.
And obviously McBride is awesome. Can you trust Greg Dorch not practicing this week and, you know,
getting in a limited session or playing at less than 100%. So, like, I picked up Dorch in a few leagues.
I'm hoping to use him as a number three receiver if Harrison's out because we saw 16 targets.
I'm sorry, we saw 12 targets.
16 or more PPR points in the two games that Harrison was out and 16 or more PPR points in those two games.
So like this is another potential 40 plus pass attempt game for Jacoby Brissette and opportunities for Dorch to be successful.
So hopefully he practices today and is able to play.
Michael Wilson is still available in some leagues, by the way.
he's 88% rostered, and I couldn't be more excited to start Michael Wilson this week
because I don't think Harrison is going to play.
So fire it up.
And even though the Rams DST could give up some points, they still are a top 10 DST.
All right, Seattle said it.
Despite his success, he takes sacks and he's had a couple turnovers in a few games.
All right, Dave, let's get our last game here, Seattle at Atlanta.
Just break this one down for us.
Start Jackson Smith and Jigba.
start Bijon Robinson, start Kyle Pitts as a low end, number one tight end in PPR.
Who have I forgotten about?
Ken Walker.
Who have I forgotten about?
No, give Ken Walker a little bit of credit here.
I'll give Ken Walker credit as a number two running back, but it's not like he's dominating
touches for Seattle, all the talk about, well, we're going to give him more work.
It's kind of gone away again.
It's an annoying split.
It's a favorable matchup.
I think you're starting Walker.
with lowered expectations and a lot of hope that he breaks a long one against Atlanta.
It's definitely possible.
Seattle's played great on the road ever since Mike McDonald became the coach of the Seahawks.
But I can't sit here and say, yeah, expect a touchdown in 90 yards from Kenneth Walker.
He'll be back this week because the matchup's so good.
I don't know if he's going to get those opportunities because he hasn't gotten those opportunities.
And when they get near the goal line, they go right to the wine cellar and they break out Charbonnet.
And it's annoying.
and that's what makes Charbonnet an interesting flex.
I think he scores again this week.
But I just, I don't love Kenneth Walker.
You're probably starting him because you don't have anybody better.
Seattle, really, Pitts to me is the hard.
Like, I know what Ken Walker is.
I'm going to start Ken Walker over Bam Knight over Kareem Hunt,
even though those guys might have a better chance of scoring a touchdown.
Walker has been getting some carries from the three-yard line to the two-yard line lately.
So he's got maybe more of a chance.
No, he didn't.
But he's more of a chance.
He scored one of them.
He did score one of them.
Yeah, right.
And they were in hurry up on that play.
So it's a concern, but he's so, oh, he's been running so well.
And the Falcons.
I love the fact that they're involved in the past game in the last three weeks.
Yeah, that's a plus.
I agree.
I think that's huge.
And I think last week, you know, like we started to see some momentum.
To me, that was more about how the game unfolded.
Like Charbonnet's numbers came late in the game.
I think that's similar situation happened this week because of Atlanta's offense.
So I don't disagree with a lot of what they've said.
I just think that for,
what Walker has been doing
and what the landscape of running backs are.
Like, to me, he's a very good number to running back.
Okay.
I like him better at the Sequin Barclay this week.
Wow.
He's been better.
Yeah, they both have been bad.
The Falcons defense is really falling apart.
And Kyle Pitts...
I need to win in the FFT League and get help
and my two running backs are Sequin Barclay and Ken Walker.
And when the season started, you loved that.
That seemed like an amazing deal.
I didn't love it.
It kind of just, the way that the draft broke,
it was too good of value to pass on those guys.
I also have Omerian Hampton.
So with Drake London being out,
like I'm barely,
I don't know how I still have a shot to make the playoffs.
Walker or Gentie.
Gentie.
Janty.
Walker or Judkins.
Judkins.
Walker, Menongai, or Hampton.
Well, now we're talking.
That's where I'd start with Walker.
Okay.
And last thing was, oh, Pitts.
Yeah, I mean, I have a little.
with trouble trusting Pitts.
A lot of trouble trusting Pitts,
but it is a great matchup.
Seattle gives up the fourth most fantasy points
of tight ends.
Kyle Pitts just,
he has four red zone targets,
three green zone targets,
one end zone target all season.
But two good games,
two very good target shares in a row
with Kirk Cousins.
Adam, I got to run.
All right, 25.8% target share
two games in a row with Kirk Cousins.
So as long as you get 30 or more pass attempts,
you're going to have a nice target share for Pitts.
All right, start the Seahawks DST, and we can all run now.
We will talk to you with the Mailbag show with No, Jamie.
We're still going to have fun.
Good Fantasy Cops coming up.
