Starting point is 00:01:39 I had no idea. It's time to dominate your fantasy league. Off to the races, and he stays on his feet. He's just going to go the distance. Now, here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie, and Heath. Welcome to Fantasy Football Today, presented by BetMGM, the sportsbook born in Vegas. I've got a case of the Fridays. Happy Friday, everyone.
Starting point is 00:02:04 Adam Azer here with Dave Richard and Jamie Isenberg. We have seven NFC home games. Start or sit, can you trust Jamison Williams or Terry McLaurin this week? Is Jared Goff ready to break out, or is this Seahawks defense legit as they face the best offense they've faced so far this season by far? And what is it about Marvin Harrison Jr. that I hate? It's his ADOT. He's wonderful. It's nothing
Starting point is 00:02:28 personal, but his ADOT's just a little bit too high. Good morning, Dave and Jamie. Happy Friday to you guys. Happy Friday. Happy Hurricanes game day. And if you love penalties and field goals, then that Thursday night game was for you. Yes, and I hope everyone is
Starting point is 00:02:43 staying safe and doing okay in the wake of the hurricane. But let's talk about, you know, from your perspective, I'm curious to know, and non-Giants or Cowboys fan, was that a good game last night? 20 to 15 final score came down to the wire. It was entertaining. Right. 20 to 15 final score came down to the, to the wire. It was entertaining. Right.
Starting point is 00:03:07 It was, it wasn't, it's not going to go down as one of like the 10 crappiest games of the year, but it's, it's not anything that's, it's not very memorable other than, Oh yeah. I remember that Thursday game where there were a bazillion flags and no
Starting point is 00:03:19 touchdowns and no one was really happy unless they had CD lamb or Malik neighbors or Wandale Robinson on their fantasy team. Yeah, I mean, Dak was okay. He scored about 20 fantasy points. Rico Dowdle did catch a touchdown, so that was nice. All right, so let's get into it. Dallas 20, Giants 15. Most of the penalties were on the Cowboys.
Starting point is 00:03:37 11 for 89. Giants had four penalties. Giants had the ball for 35 minutes and 37 seconds, and then obviously we have some big injuries in this game. Malik neighbors left with a concussion. They've got a long week and then they'll go to Seattle next week. So hopefully that's enough time for him to get through the concussion protocol. He's already said he's fine. So we'll see. Okay. Well, that would be nice. And he obviously had another big game with 12 catches for 115 yards on 15 targets. But then you've got Micah Parsons, who might have a high ankle sprain, and Demarcus Lawrence also left with an injury.
Starting point is 00:04:10 So those are two huge injuries for the Dallas Cowboys. Diggs looks like he's fine. He had some dehydration. Jamie, fantasy takeaways. Let's do the Cowboys first. Fantasy takeaways from them? I mean, I think the only big thing is that you'd like to see Rico Doudle get the ball more. You know, he's definitely the more explosive running back at this point. Not that Zeke's five carries were a lot, but I just wish they'd give 15-plus touches to Doudle just to see, you know, what he can accomplish.
Starting point is 00:04:37 And for anybody who started him, you really got lucky because of the touchdown reception. That was me. I did. For the main guys, look, 11.9 PPR points for Jake Ferguson. You'll take that all day long with a tight end position has been seven catches is, is more than enough. You just like to see him do a little bit more with it than 49 yards,
Starting point is 00:04:54 but you'll happily take that. Um, Dak, like you said, over 20 fantasy points, just the second time he's done that. So, um,
Starting point is 00:05:01 that's going to probably put him in, in, in the top 12 conversation. So he didn't hurt you. CD lamb bounced back in a big way, you know, seven for 98 and a touchdown. And really it's, it's, it's status quo. You know, we, I think we're hoping for a little bit more from Jalen Tolbert. He's not someone you could clearly start and barely roster. Brandon cooks is droppable. So it's, it's just a matter of, you know, Dak, Lamb, Ferguson delivered. Dowdle just continued to stash. We need Dowdle to start playing more percentage,
Starting point is 00:05:32 a higher percentage of the snaps. He's been right around 45% each of the first four games. He's not on the field for many third downs. They use Lepke as their third down back. So it's not Zeke, it's not Dowdle. I would say just like get Zeke out of there and let Dowdle handle the ball more. He had 11 carries. That's a season high. A couple more catches would have been nice, but he's their best back. So why not use him more? So I agree with Jamie on that one.
Starting point is 00:05:56 Hang on to Dowdle. Good stash candidate. Yeah. And you know what? I think we're seeing some incremental progress for him in terms of taking over the backfield. And again, they had the ball for 24 minutes and 23 seconds. They just didn't really run that many plays. And then on the Giants side of things,
Starting point is 00:06:14 you get nine fantasy points from Daniel Jones. Not that he played poorly, but obviously they couldn't score. They settled for five field goals. Singletary, though, was started in 69% of leagues, Dave, and he was awful. 12 carries for 24 yards against what looked like a terrible run defense. One catch for 14 yards, and he almost fumbled again. So what do you say to Devin?
Starting point is 00:06:34 You gave him credit. It's 14 carries for 24 yards. Oh, gosh. I said 12. What do you say to the Devin Singletary manager? It's tough because you got the workload. You got 15 touches. So that's something that I think you can at least feel decent about.
Starting point is 00:06:52 You didn't start somebody that was taking game script. And Dallas had been terrible against his own scheme runs. And he was terrible in this game. They really did a good job showing that up. I checked before the show. 1.2 really did a good job showing that up. I checked before the show, 1.2 yards per carry allowed to the Giants on their 12 zone blocking runs. So that's a huge success compared to how they've been prior weeks. They had two runs in zone go for more than three yards.
Starting point is 00:07:21 They went for four and five yards. So maybe the Dallas run defense from the corner, or maybe the Giants aren't very good at running the football. We'll find out as the weeks go ahead. But if Seattle's D-line is healthy next week, it's going to be tough to feel good about starting Devin Singletary outside of a bi-week replacement type of RB. I think the most interesting player in this game is Wanda Robinson.
Starting point is 00:07:42 Wanda's 28% rostered. He was started in 10% of leagues. He had 11 catches for 71 yards. And we pretty much know what he is right now. He's just a short area target, but he's got six or more catches in three games. The one time he didn't have six or more catches, he did happen to catch a touchdown.
Starting point is 00:07:58 But, you know, you see him at 28% rostered. Buy weeks are coming up. Is he appealing to you, Jamie? Oh, for sure. I mean, look, he's, he was somebody that I wanted to draft. I told people to draft a late round pick. He's, he's certainly somebody that we've mentioned in the waiver column every week. He's just that type of player. He's not going to help you in non PPR. He's barely going to help you in half PPR, but in full PPR, when you're getting this type of production, you know,
Starting point is 00:08:22 six catches is an easy starting point from a floor perspective. And then you have games like this, you know, 11 for 71. That's, that's a, you know, easy top 30 wide receiver for the week, if not top 24 with how he's going to finish. So, uh, again, you just know what you're, what you're getting. And if neighbors does miss the game next week, then we're definitely looking at a double digit target game once again for Wanda Robinson. So yes, he's, he should 100% be rostered in every PPR format. It seemed like he was the second read and Daniel Jones was really good last night at maneuvering the pressure. And then seeing when his first read neighbors was taken away, he would just kind of check it down or throw it short to Wandale, and Wandale caught the football.
Starting point is 00:09:06 So as long as that continues to happen, and if the Giants can't run the ball, you'll continue to see Wandale do this. But he's definitely a PPR cheat code at wide receiver and definitely a flex or biweek replacement moving forward. The Cowboys had only allowed 43 yards to receivers out of the slot in the first three games of the season. They allowed 78 last night, but they did. I mean, honestly, they did a pretty
Starting point is 00:09:30 good job. He had a lot of targets. He had some cash. What was the average? Last night, slot receivers averaged 6.5 yards per catch. So what was it for them going into the game? Do you happen to have that? I can. Yeah. I wonder if it was close to that. If it was lower than that, I'd be surprised. Dallas did a good job of attacking. They didn't give up a lot of yards after catch. 6.1. But yeah, no, I honestly, it was an unsung storyline of this game. I thought the Cowboys defensive backs tackled really well. There were a few plays where it looked like the Giants might slip one, get a big play, or get a pick up a first down. And the tackling was really good. And on that note, I think we are done talking about this game.
Starting point is 00:10:09 So there you go. Giants and Cowboys. Cowboys improved to 2-2 with a 20-15 win. And interesting game next week at Pittsburgh. So, but yeah. All right. Sunday is a fun day for us, obviously. But to get you ready for the games, we've got a couple things. We've got CBS Sports HQ at 10 a.m. Eastern. Hop on in on the CBS Sports app. We've got a Q&A from 1130 a.m. until about 1255 p.m. right up until kickoff or right basically when your lineups lock at youtube.com slash fantasy football today. So we'd love to have you there. We have a few thousand people at a time.
Starting point is 00:10:46 It's a popular show on Sunday mornings, and we answer a lot of questions, and we're having a great time. So that's me, Dave, and Heath, youtube.com slash fantasy football today. Also, if you don't listen on Spotify, if you have Spotify, just search for fantasy football today.
Starting point is 00:10:58 Give us a follow there, and you can listen to our show on Spotify. News and notes. Justin Herbert, are you guys projecting Herbert to play at this point? No. Not yet.
Starting point is 00:11:12 Dolphins, they still haven't made a decision on their quarterback? I hope it's Huntley. Sure. Jordan Love, going to be a game time decision? That game, sorry, let me get the schedule up. I know what they're playing, a game time decision that game sorry let me get the schedule up I know what they're playing
Starting point is 00:11:28 but what time is that Minnesota Green Bay game it's at 1 o'clock so we'll know at 1130 ish if Jordan Love is going to play and at running back okay some new running back notes Jeremy Fowler of ESPN he thinks it's a long shot for Christian McCaffrey to return
Starting point is 00:11:44 by week six. Alvin Kamara made it back to practice yesterday. He was limited. That's a good sign. Ken Walker was limited, and that is interesting. This is already a tough, tough matchup. Lions so far have the best run defense in football, and you don't want a shared backfield in this situation.
Starting point is 00:12:00 So we'll see what happens with Ken Walker, but he was limited. They play Monday night. And also Jeremy Fowler, another report from him. He said Roshan Johnson could see an extended look this situation. So let's see what happens with Ken Walker, but he was limited. They play Monday night and also Jeremy Fowler. Another report from him. He said, Roshan Johnson could see an extended look this week. We're going to do beat the waiver wire.
Starting point is 00:12:12 Roshan Johnson's got to be at or near the top of the list. He's, he's very available. Raheem Mostert was limited. Still not expecting Jalen Warren, Bucky Irving mispractice yesterday. So that's when we have to keep an eye on. He said he was going to play, but we'll see.
Starting point is 00:12:26 Okay, good. Bijan limited. He should be fine. Damian Pearson, Joe Mixon. We're still not expecting them, right? Not as of now, no. And I missed an update on Jerome Ford. What's going on with return to practice?
Starting point is 00:12:38 Okay, that's good. Eckler out and wide receiver news. So Deontay Johnson mispractice, they're calling it precautionary right now. We're still expecting him to play. He's a top 15 wide receiver. Jamie, how about the,
Starting point is 00:12:53 the Niners right now with Debo and Kittle getting back out there and a report saying Kittle should play this week. What does this mean? We, we talked at length about that game, but let's reset it. I mean, obviously if Debo and Kittittle play, you start them.
Starting point is 00:13:07 You know, you don't think twice about it, and you still start Ayuk. It just, you know, keep Juwan Jennings on your bench. Don't drop him yet and see what happens this weekend. But he's the biggest loser of all this because he's not going to get the same opportunities if those guys are healthy. So, I mean, look, I hope they're not rushing Debo or Kittle back. You know, there was some thought in San Francisco, some of the stuff I read yesterday,
Starting point is 00:13:28 that maybe they're just getting him back to practice with the hope of him getting back on the field next week. But clearly, if he's able to go, I'm sure they'll play him. So, Mason must start. Samuel, Kittle, Ayuk must start. Makes things a lot better for Brock Purdy if he has his weapons available. Yeah, I think I'm going to try to look it up now. But Kittle, or Debo rather, Debo has definitely a history of coming back from injury and not playing a full snap share.
Starting point is 00:13:59 So, and then remember the game last year where he was decoy Samuel, like no targets or whatever. But he makes me a little nervous. But Dave, let's paint the scenario of Kittle comes back, but Debo doesn't. Then what do you do with Juwan Jennings? You start him. He's at least a flex. I believe it's every career game he's had at least six targets in,
Starting point is 00:14:21 he's been good for 10 plus PPR points. So that, that's my, that's what I'm looking for from him. If I start them this week. Okay. Uh, Devante Adams was limited with a hamstring issue.
Starting point is 00:14:33 So we don't like when guy practices Wednesday and then has something on the injury report on Thursday. So we'll keep an eye on Devante Adams against Cleveland. Romo Doones. They was limited with a hip issue. Keenan Allen remains limited. Tank Dell is likely. They haven't officially ruled Tank Dell out, have they?
Starting point is 00:14:50 No, but it does not sound like he's playing. Right. Okay. So did that change your rankings at all? Were you already planning on that? No. I moved Diggs up a couple spots. He was already in the top 24 receiver for me, but now he's in the top 20.
Starting point is 00:15:05 Same. Okay. Josh Palmer already in the top 24 receiver for me, but now he's in the top 20. Same. Okay. Josh Palmer practiced in full. Yay. Nico was banged up though in practice. Oh, right. I had that. I don't know why I skipped over that.
Starting point is 00:15:12 He was limited with a hamstring injury. Yep. We got to keep an eye on that. Maybe it's easier if you make a list of players who practiced and aren't on the injury report. Well, I don't just put everyone who's on the injury report, but if a guy was not on the injury report Wednesday and then goes on it on Thursday, I don't know if that was the deal. I think that was the deal for Nico.
Starting point is 00:15:31 I think he was Thursday. And just to add one thing to it, it does make Dalton Schultz now a worthwhile streamer. And I liked him to begin with, but yeah, this makes us a lot better. We're still in the middle of that defense for Jacksonville is a huge liability.
Starting point is 00:15:45 We're still not expecting Devante Smith or AJ Brown. I'll ask you guys about Jahan Dotson and Paris Campbell in a little bit. Jordan Addison practiced and tight end David. We got a lot to keep an eye on here with tight end. David Njoku was limited in practice. We're still not expecting Trey McBride, not expecting Sam Laporta at this point, but it's early in the week for them because they have the Monday night
Starting point is 00:16:03 game. Evan Ingram mispracticed. Taysom Hill expected a play, and I mentioned George Kittle was limited. And again, I'm not going to go through all the offensive line injuries, but the Chargers are really beat up. The Saints are beat up on their offensive line.
Starting point is 00:16:15 The Browns, horrible situation on their offensive line. Looking good for Tampa Bay right tackle Luke Gettyke. He practiced in full. Baker Mayfield's been sacked seven times in his last two games, so they really need him. Carolina left guard Damian Lewis is likely going to miss at least one game. And let's go to one question for each game, but not just yet, because I got to tell you, if you haven't signed up yet for BetMGM, use the bonus code FANTASY, and you're going to get up to a $1,500 first bet offer on your first wager
Starting point is 00:16:46 with BetMGM. Here's how it works. You download the BetMGM app and sign up using the bonus code FANTASY. Deposit at least $10. Place your first wager on any game. You'll receive up to $1,500 in bonus bets if your bet loses. Just make sure you use the bonus code FANTASY when you sign up. All right, we're going to take a break. And when we come back, one question for each game. We have seven games to break down today. We'll be right back. Did you know that across Ontario,
Starting point is 00:17:15 utility damage happens 19 times a day? That's over 4,222 incidents a year. Don't let your next dig be one that causes costly delays or safety risks. Before you break ground, make it a point to request a year. Don't let your next dig be one that causes costly delays or safety risks. Before you break ground, make it a point to request a locate. It's not just the law. It's a step to keep your team and community safe.
Starting point is 00:17:34 Visit OntarioOneCall.ca and avoid unnecessary damages to get the job done right. Data sourced from the ORCGA 2023 Dirt Report. One question for each game. Dave, I'll throw this one to you. Cincinnati is at Carolina.
Starting point is 00:17:49 Who's a better flex this week, Zach Moss or Tee Higgins? I'll take Moss just because he's got the opportunity to touch the ball more and maybe there's still a little bit of rust for Tee to knock off. Are they both good starts this week? Moss more so than Higgins, but sure. All right. Rams are at Chicago.
Starting point is 00:18:08 Jamie, how do we feel about the bears wide receivers? The Rams defense has been really bad. This is a great matchup. It's a great matchup, but we got, you know, a lot of injury situations here to,
Starting point is 00:18:19 to monitor. So if no Keenan Allen and Romo Dunzay, DJ Moore is a must-start wide receiver, and Odunze is a high-end flex. If no Odunze and Allen, DJ Moore is a must-start, and Allen is a high-end flex. If they're all active, then Moore is a low-end number two receiver,
Starting point is 00:18:41 but still worth starting, and Allen and Odunze are flexes. That was very good. Very clear. Minnesota's at Green Bay. Start or sit Josh Jacobs, Dave Richard? I think he's a number two running back this week, and I'm a little worried that maybe Emmanuel Wilson showed that he can be relied on a little bit more. That's based on last week. Easy for them to both get a lot of work if there's no Jordan love,
Starting point is 00:19:05 but if love comes back and they kind of need them for this game, this is going to turn out to be a huge game. Yeah. I think that it could hurt Jacobs just a little bit because they'll pass more. And I don't think he's going to get a ton of targets. He had, we haven't really seen that through the first,
Starting point is 00:19:21 well in week one, we didn't really see it that much. And I don't know i'm not getting the vibe that josh jacobs is going to be as good as i thought he was well does jordan love help him or hurt him it cuts both ways because if if the vikings have to defend the pass then obviously things can open up for him on the on the ground but we haven't seen a lot of that especially with love playing granted it was only one game. One game, yeah. He had a good game.
Starting point is 00:19:47 People act like he had a bad game. I think he's the number two running back. I'm not going to race him back in the lineups as the slam dunk. I'm going to consider some other running backs ahead of him. Who might I consider ahead of him? Pollard, I would take ahead of him. Moss, we just talked about him against Carolina. I'll take him ahead of Josh Jacobs. The one that I'm waffling on is Romandre Stevenson
Starting point is 00:20:06 because it's a tough matchup. I don't know how much work Romandre is going to get. So I might go with Jacobs over Romandre. I should mention within 49ers, they have a couple of defensive linemen, defensive tackle injuries. Yeah, including Hargraves, definitely out. Hargraves out.
Starting point is 00:20:23 His backup got hurt in practice. One of out. His backup got hurt in practice. One of their linebackers got hurt in practice. Yeah. All right. So for Jacobs, I just want you guys like when people are chasing records, right? You know that he's chasing a record this week.
Starting point is 00:20:37 Oh, you didn't know this. Ready? Josh Jacobs, if he catches three passes without a touchdown, he will set the record for most catches without a touchdown, at least by a running back, probably by any position, in NFL history.
Starting point is 00:20:52 Not a great record. Not a great record. The thing that is interesting is Aaron Jones has gotten off to such a great start, it almost feels like they have to justify this move. They got to get Jacobs a big game because Aaron Jones is on the other side of the field ready for a big game. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:07 Well, listen, if the reason why I want Jordan Love back is like if I mean, obviously, I just want a better offense. But if Willis is there, Jacobs is not going to set that record this week because I really don't think he's going to get three catches. You know, like it's much more possible with with Jordan Love. New Orleans at Atlanta. Jamie, do you trust Darnell Mooney or Rashid Shahid this week? In three receiver leagues, 100% and two receiver leagues and a flex. They're in the conversation and two receiver leagues where the flexes are
Starting point is 00:21:34 running back. Probably not. Um, probably more so Mooney from a floor standpoint and Shahid from a ceiling standpoint. So I think Mooney's established himself as, as a, I'll say six to eight target guy,
Starting point is 00:21:48 you know, just call it seven per game. Cause that's basically what he's been. Shahid is, you know, he missed on, on a long play last week, which if he caught another touchdown,
Starting point is 00:21:58 two, two long plays. Okay. So we, we would have, I think a different feeling of him, but there's still that potential there. So it's hard to completely get away from them, but I do think in, in three receiver leagues,
Starting point is 00:22:08 it's easy to start them. And I don't want to say that he missed on them. The throws were on target. They were, they were just knocked away. Yeah. No, just close plays. That's how close they missed on connecting on too long. Right, right, right, right.
Starting point is 00:22:21 But chances are that's how close the narrative was to not changing that much. All right. Ready? What it is now. And it's kind of scary. Next up, Philadelphia, Tampa Bay. Dave, any sleeper wide receivers for the Eagles, assuming that Smith and Brown are out? I can't.
Starting point is 00:22:37 I can't get into Dotson. I can't get into Campbell, although I would like if you're desperate in a PPR. I think he'll play the slot. Johnny Wilson will probably line up wide. Your best bet with him is that maybe he scores a touchdown. I would consider these guys more in DFS than I would in
Starting point is 00:22:55 week four fancy when nobody's on by. All right, Jamie, Seattle's at Detroit, so I asked you about Mooney and Shahid. I'm now going to ask you about these number two receivers. Do you trust Jamison Williams or JSN this week? I'm getting to the point where JSN more so than Jamison. This, this, I said, this on CBS sports HQ, if you want to get J JSN on your team trade form now,
Starting point is 00:23:16 because this feels like a big blow up spot for them. They're going to throw the ball a lot. You mentioned that they're on defenses, very good for Detroit. And we haven't seen Go Smith really air it out, except for that Patriots game where it was a 16 target game for Jason. So I don't think he's getting that, but I would not be surprised if he's eight to 10 targets in this matchup. And this matchup is very favorable.
Starting point is 00:23:38 So Tyler Lockett's a sleeper. Jamison Williams, I think you just, again, similar to the other guys started three receiver leagues, two receiver leagues. He's more of a flex play. But JSN ceiling feels very high this week. Yeah. I don't know what to make of this stat because it's all so much about matchups. The Lions, they've already faced Cooper Cup and Chris Godwin, but so far this year, they are giving up the second most receiving yards to slot wide receivers or receivers who happen to line up on the slot, you know,
Starting point is 00:24:06 on that particular play, that's going to be JSN most of the time. And last game. And I'll, I'll, I'll tell you like one situation like that's I'm struggling with would be like JSN versus Khalil Shakir, because I think Shakir is another one that has a pretty high ceiling,
Starting point is 00:24:21 but a tough matchup. Yeah. But he's coming off, you know, just a strong game and you know, he's going to catch all of his targets Yeah. But he's coming off, you know, just a strong game. And you know, he's going to catch all of his targets. So Shakir versus JSN.
Starting point is 00:24:29 Like Dave, where do you come out on that one? I've got, I've got a Shakir once. Is that really a tough matchup though? Dave? Like, so here's the thing.
Starting point is 00:24:39 Go back two weeks to that Seattle game. And I know you watched it, Jamie, because it wasn't Charbonnet's start of the week week. It was the week before. I don't think he was that efficient in the game. Who? And so as a change of pace, they used JSN as a short area target.
Starting point is 00:24:53 Most of his targets were short. And I wonder, now that I think about it, I wonder if the same thing could play out. Even if Ken Walker's back, this Lions run defense is good. We know the offensive line for Seattle really isn't great. And if they can't run the ball, well, now they've got to throw, and he's the change up there. Add on the stat that you just gave, Adam,
Starting point is 00:25:14 where the Lions are struggling against slot receivers, and it makes perfect sense that JSN could have seven catches for 85 yards, something like that. But if you think about the other matchup... I would probably... I like Shakir as a floor play because we've seen him do well so far, but JSN should be up there.
Starting point is 00:25:32 It's easy to start both of those guys over Jawan Jennings if we know that Debo and Kittle... But don't you see Allen throwing like a ton of pass? And then Ravens haven't even been good, Dave, against receivers, you know? It's true, but I... That's why I've got to hear it.
Starting point is 00:25:46 That's the game of the week, yeah! A very elaborate setup. I knew it. I saw it coming. Hey! It's the Bills and the Ravens! Thank you, Jamie. I'm trying so hard to get Dave to talk about the Ravens and the Bills, and he's just blah, blah, blah. I did for a second, and then you let me get into JSN a little bit more.
Starting point is 00:26:10 Okay. I had to tee it up again just to get the music in. Thank you very much. It's a good twist for Game of the Week. I like it. I had to text Jamie to get him to bring that up. That was fun. Twist his arm.
Starting point is 00:26:21 All right. Last one, Jamie. I'll go back to you. Washington and Arizona. Do you like Brian Robinson Jr. in this game? I actually thought this was going to be the one that you used for game of the week. Do I like Brian Robinson Jr.? Yes, very much.
Starting point is 00:26:32 No Austin Eckler. I mean, he's been a start and starts hit every week so far, and this is an easy one. It's just a big opportunity. You know, the question will be is will they use any of their other running backs to the same extent that they were using Austin Eckler in terms of playing time? But Robinson, we saw this last year. Different system, different coach. When Antonio Gibson was out, his role in the passing game just spiked.
Starting point is 00:26:58 And we haven't really seen it from him since week one. But I'm hopeful. You know, Cliff Kingsbury talked yesterday about how they're going to miss Eckler and what his role has been. So we'll see if they just put more on Robinson's plate, which is the hope. Like, you know, you don't want to see these other backup guys, McNichols or Rodriguez, you know, getting more work.
Starting point is 00:27:18 I think it just should be the Brian Robinson show. I'm hoping it's the Brian Robinson show. And the Brian Robinson show is already up in 83% of CBS sports leagues. So I think the only people that aren't starting them are people that have other better running backs, uh, routes run by Washington running backs in the second half of week three, Eckler ran one route. He got hurt pretty early in the second half. Brian Robinson ran 12 and Jeremy, Jeremy McNichols ran three. So it was a big boost for Robinson. Dave, give me a couple of QB wide receiver combos you like in week four. The first one is going to be for the Texans. CJ Stroud with a good bounce back game. Actually,
Starting point is 00:27:55 his last two games, not awesome for fantasy, but he's getting the Jaguars. Their defense has been weird this year. Not only are they banged up in the secondary, but they've played a ton of man coverage. I think that that's a really good thing for C.J. Stroud. The offensive line needs a bounce-back game as well after they had a ton of penalties last week. Stroud to Stephon Diggs is the matchup that I'm looking at. It's not to say that Nico Collins won't have a big game, but I think Diggs continues getting short targets
Starting point is 00:28:19 and making plays with them just as he did last week. So that's the first stack that I really like. And the second one, I'm going to target that Washington, Arizona game, Kyler Murray, Marvin Harrison. That's a duo that I think is just going to keep putting numbers up week
Starting point is 00:28:33 after week. We know this commander's defense is terrible against the past. Kyler Murray should have a very good game. Marvin Harrison finds the end zone again, hopefully hits over the century mark in yardage as well. Let's see a big game from those two guys. Yeah, but remember it. Harrison finds the end zone again, hopefully hits over the century mark in yardage as well. Let's see a big game from those two guys. Yeah. But remember it. So this is the team that gives up multiple, you know, big games to, to wide receivers every week in Washington. Is there any, like we got a Michael Wilson game or a Dorch game?
Starting point is 00:28:57 So it's, it's interesting that you bring that up because we know that Trey McBride is in the concussion protocol. So if he does not play, I think there's a good opportunity for Michael Wilson to be that next guy. So now we're talking about an even bigger stack. Yeah. To take advantage of. All right. Beat the waiver wire. We got a,
Starting point is 00:29:15 an FFT express episode. That's kind of dedicated to this. So I'm not going to go through all the names, but just keep in mind, get out in front of it here. The chargers, lions, Eagles,
Starting point is 00:29:23 and Titans are all on by in week five. Chargers, Lions, Eagles, Titans. In shallow leagues, there are plenty. I mean, there are so many quarterbacks to pick up if you're in like a 10-team league that I don't know that you need to beat the waiver wire. But maybe Geno against the Giants or Caleb Williams against the Panthers. Kirk Cousins against the Bucs. And then on down.
Starting point is 00:29:43 Justin Fields could have a big game because it's possible that Micah Parsons and Demarcus Lawrence are both out next week. Sam Darnold has the Jets, unfortunately. And then if you're really desperate, I don't know, Bo Nix against the Raiders, Andy Dalton at Chicago is not great. Roshon Johnson's 48% rostered. Khalil Herbert's 24% rostered. I'm sure you guys would rather pick up Roshon, right?
Starting point is 00:30:06 Correct. And I'll just say everybody for the Bears has a great upcoming schedule. Their next five opponents or four opponents are Carolina, Jacksonville, Washington, and Arizona. And they have a bye mixed in there. But if you need a tight end,
Starting point is 00:30:22 Cole Komet. If you need a quarterback, maybe Caleb Williams is available. It's possible in shallow leagues like Odunze and Keenan Allen are both, Keenan Allen especially, they're kind of available. But, you know, take a look at the Bears. And then obviously Roshon Johnson. Clyde Edwards-Ulay are eligible to come back next week, 17% rostered. Emmanuel Wilson feels like a guy to get.
Starting point is 00:30:41 Tank Bigsby. And then, I don't know, wide receivers, not a lot that are less than 70% rostered. There's a bunch of guys like Christian Watson and Sutton and Addison and Hopkins and Mooney. Dops. Romeo Dops, that's a good one. I have Mike Williams on here, but I don't know. Make sure you check your waiver wire for Evan Ingram and David Njoku.
Starting point is 00:31:03 These guys were top 10 tight ends in ADP. There's no reason why they shouldn't be rostered. They should be back soon. Hunter Henry has the Dolphins next week. Tyler Conklin, tough schedule for him. The team that has the best matchups next week for tight ends is the Saints. I don't know if it means anything. Tight end.
Starting point is 00:31:21 Yeah. Jawan Johnson actually ran more routes than Morrow last week, which was a change up. But Taysom Hill is out there in a number of leagues and a decent amount of leagues. And he could always score a touchdown. All right. Wonderful. So we'll help you out with Beat the Waiver Wire on FFT Express. Can I give a deep running back for the Waiver Wire in Denver? Tyler Beatty.
Starting point is 00:31:42 I'm sorry. I mispronounced his name. It's bidet. No, it's not. I thought you were joking about that. No, he would prefer be pronounced bidet. Really? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:52 I think he's, I think they're going to move to, uh, more of a three headed approach, but he might end up being the running downs guy for them, or at least an audition for it, which kind of stinks for Javante, but Javante will definitely still play passing downs. He's a good pass blocker. He can catch. We know that. But I, we last week, uh, bidet was, he got a chance in the fourth quarter run.
Starting point is 00:32:16 He did well, Sean Payton's talked about him a lot. And I think he's going to get an opportunity. So this is, this is for the people, Adam, you can do the voice. They're not around in my these guys are in a ready man christian wants you i think he's out there in like 95 plus of leagues you can stash them just just keep in mind that everything they did last week was against the tampa bay defense that was down as two defensive tackles including vita it's all true and he wouldn't be like like if you've got a choice between him and kareem hunt i'm taking hunt every time i'll take emmanuel wilson over him too this is
Starting point is 00:32:48 no one's available in your league right this is that type of stash so you're are you out on the waffle now because that was your your tuesday guide ad oh that's true i'm changing that you rather have i have a pronunciation guide that says Beatty, just so you know. Do you want me to call the Broncos? I just feel like you're trying to trick me, but okay. I'll see if I can find something. All right, guys. Let's get into the games here.
Starting point is 00:33:18 Better late than never. Cincinnati's at Carolina. Here's what I don't love about Zach Moss. Stat of the game. The Bengals are 29th in run rate. They're 31st in running back carries. The last two years, they were 31st and 30th in running back carries. So they don't run the ball a lot. So Moss, the split is not good.
Starting point is 00:33:39 He has 33 carries, which compared to Brown, it's good. But 33 carries in three games, obviously not good. So he's in your top 24. He's a low-end top 24 guy. He's around 20th or so, which is easy to go with Chuba Hubbard over Zach Moss. Yes. I think the thing to keep an eye on here is,
Starting point is 00:33:59 did the Panthers' run defense get fixed last week, or did they just play the Raiders? Because the first two weeks were bad, and then they play a bad rushing offense. And I'm going to guess it's probably the Raiders as opposed to the Panthers run defense being fixed. So look, the Bengals got some offense line issues with Trent Brown being banged up. Will they morph into a run first team? I doubt it.
Starting point is 00:34:23 I'm sure a lot of it will be dependent on how the game flow goes. But the thing that you saw from Austin, you've been talking about this, Adam, since the preseason is that, will he be the passing downs guy? Well, he's been the passing downs guy, you know, and so that sort of saves him. And on top of that, he scored a touchdown each in two of the three games that they played. So I don't, I don't know what more you need to see from Moss to start him, unless, of course, you just have a better situation or better players on your team. Yeah, I mean, I know you don't have to answer this,
Starting point is 00:34:52 but I'm deciding between him and Jameis and Williams for a flex spot, which is tough. But I think I'm going to go with Moss. You should. Yeah, out of respect to the Seahawks defense, which we'll find out more about this week. But all right, so Moss is a is a start. But Chuba is a better start.
Starting point is 00:35:07 He's the start of the week. We talked a lot about him yesterday. Start Jamar Chase. Dave already gave his opinion on T Higgins. Jamie, how do you feel about T Higgins? Oh, I shouldn't skip Burrow. How do you feel about Joe Burrow, T Higgins and obviously Chase? You're starting.
Starting point is 00:35:19 How about Yoshivas, who has three touchdowns in his last two games? I think that's just a desperation play. You know, the two-touchdown game was his only two catches, if I'm not mistaken. He had three, but nothing more than that. And it was all goal-line opportunities. So I just, I don't want to trust that. Deeper leagues, like if you're picking up Beatty, Bidet,
Starting point is 00:35:38 Biddy, Biddy, Biddy, either one. I would take, I would take Yos Yoshivas just with the hope he scores. Um, I think for, uh, for, for Higgins, I'm going to go right back to him. You know, he had a couple of end zone opportunities last week. Dave said, you know, another game was shaken off the rest. I don't think that's not the case this week. I think he should be good to go. So you're getting more than three for 39.
Starting point is 00:36:05 Um, the interesting thing really is they are using their tight ends a lot. I mean, it was Mike Gusecki and Eric all last week, both getting four catches. You know, will they continue to involve all of these guys? And that, I think, speaks to your point, Adam, about the running back situation because they are throwing the ball so much that everybody's getting chances in the passing game. You would like to see a little bit more from Zach Moss from a running perspective.
Starting point is 00:36:29 But really, I think it's just start the studs that you have for this team. And Gusecki's still more of a flyer. Like, I think he's still the tight end of choice. How high do you have Higgins in your receiver rankings? I've got him 25th. I think he's 22. Okay.
Starting point is 00:36:44 Him or Garrett Wilson? Oh, that's easy for me. Higgins. 25th. I think he's 22. Okay. Him or Garrett Wilson? Oh, that's easy for me. Higgins. You'll take Higgins? Okay. I have Wilson one spot ahead in PPR. Burrow's fifth for Jamie, fifth for Heath,
Starting point is 00:36:53 and second for Dave. Joe Burrow or Jaden Daniels at Arizona? Burrow. Daniels for me. All right. You could have some tough decisions with Burrow if you have Kyler, if you have Daniels, but in all likelihood, you are starting Joe Burrow. Daniels for me. All right. You could have some tough decisions with Burrow if you have Kyler, if you have Daniels,
Starting point is 00:37:06 but in all likelihood, you are starting Joe Burrow. Carolina giving up the fifth most fantasy points to quarterbacks. We talked about Moss. I don't think you can really start Chase Brown at this point. But roster him. Don't drop him. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:37:18 Mike Gasicki. Gasicki or Komet? It's Komet as of now, but if everybody's healthy at wide receiver for Chicago, meaning Keenan Allen's back and Rome's healthy, then I think Gacicchi kind of makes sense.
Starting point is 00:37:36 Gacicchi or Dalton Schultz, assuming Dell is out. I've got Gacicchi a spot higher. He's safer. All right. Andy Dalton. Anyone want to start Andy Dalton
Starting point is 00:37:50 against the Bengals? He's a good streamer. He's not going to get you 30 fantasy points, but I think he'll be in a similar
Starting point is 00:37:59 range to what Dak was. And this Bengals secondary has been good, but a lot of that has been, I think, because teams have been able to run on them. It's also they did face Jacoby Brissett in one game
Starting point is 00:38:10 and that other guy, what's his name? Oh, yeah, Mahomes. He's not very good. Yeah, that's... So, I mean, like, I don't like the fact that Dalton lost, for whatever you think of Adam Thielen, he's a good player for his team. He's not a good fantasy
Starting point is 00:38:25 receiver consistently at this point in his career, but that's a loss. I think that that will impact what Dalton will be able to do, because I don't think, I don't think we get ready to assume that type of role. He's not that type of player. Uh, I don't think Jonathan Mingo is that type of player. Um, it's going to be a lot of Deontay Johnson and then sort of mixing and matching in other, other ways for, I think Dalton to get his numbers, but,
Starting point is 00:38:48 but 202 is not out of their own possibility. All right. Dalton, Jamie's the high guy on Dalton this week. And Jamie's got Dalton 14th. Dave has him 20th. Heath has him 21st. Also one thing to note about the Bengals,
Starting point is 00:39:02 their run defense is so bad. They have seen the fewest pass attempts in the NFL. And so all three quarterbacks they've faced, Brissette, Mahomes, and Daniels, have thrown 23 to 25 passes. That's nothing. Chuba Hubbard, we love this week. He is a top 16 running back for everybody.
Starting point is 00:39:17 He's 11th for Jamie, 13th for Dave in full PPR. He just scored almost 28 fantasy points, and he has 10 targets in his last two games. So you're going to start Chuba Hubbard or Josh Jacobs. Chuba Hubbard. Chuba Hubbard or T Higgins. Hubbard.
Starting point is 00:39:36 Chewy. Okay. Just start Chuba Hubbard. Carolina wide receivers. Deontay Johnson's the only one we're going to start. And we like Chuba Hubbard to Deontay Johnson. That's a great question. I probably would stick with Hubbard just because you're getting most likely four to six catches
Starting point is 00:39:54 again from him. You know, it's, it's kind of a staple in Canals offense to use as running backs in the past game, especially with Thielen not there. I would expect that to continue. So both have, I think the chance to, um Both have, I think, the chance to score with probably a little bit more of an edge for Hubbard just because of the touches that he'll get. I will say this. I know I kind of said that
Starting point is 00:40:12 Liget's not ready for that Thielen role. He's another great beat-the-waver wire guy. If he does have a good game this week, you're going to want to buy into it based on the opportunity that's not in front of him. He had a great crossing route last week. It was actually a good throw by Dalton too, between two ferns,
Starting point is 00:40:27 between two Raiders defenders. And he, he, he really like flashed his speed after the catch on that play turned, which should have been like maybe like a 10 yard play into a 35. I think it was 35 yards. So I agree. I think that that's a good waiver wire ad.
Starting point is 00:40:43 I do have Deontay over Chuba and full PPR. That's Xavier Ligetti was talking about. Yeah. So just agree. I think that that's a good waiver wire ad. I do have Deontay over Chuba and full PPR. That's Xavier Ligetti was talking about. Yeah. So just a final question here, because we're sitting the DSTs, we're sitting Jatavian Sanders, obviously. Are you nervous that with Chuba Hubbard and Deontay Johnson basically as must starts, are you nervous about that? Like it is the Carolina Panthers after all. It is the Panthers they did a great job against the raiders and i feel like one of these weeks the the bengals are just going to show up and smack somebody around they were so close to to winning in week two they probably
Starting point is 00:41:17 would say that they should have won in week one they might even say that they should have won in week three they're an owen three team that's been in relatively speaking, been in every game that they've had so far. So I am a little bit worried about them, like having that spirited, you know, back against the wall type game. I just don't know if their run defense can do anything about it.
Starting point is 00:41:38 Okay. See, I agree with you that they could have that offensively because this defense is that offensively like last week was awesome. Right. Perfect example. They do the have that offensively because this defense is that bad. Like last week was awesome. Right. Perfect example. They do the same thing offensively. I just don't know if they have the pieces defensively to smack anybody in the mouth, including the Panthers.
Starting point is 00:41:53 And BJ Hill mispracticed again yesterday. All right. Let's take a break. Rams at the Bears when we come back. Pretty interesting game here. What a win for the Rams last week. I don't know how they did it, but I don't know how the Bears lost last week. We'll see if they can reverse their fortunes. We'll be right back on FFT. Early start for the Rams and not exactly a cross country trip, but a trip to Chicago and a 1 p.m. start and your stat of the game, 1 p.m. Eastern, 1 p.m. stat of the game,
Starting point is 00:42:22 time of the game, stat of the game. The Rams have allowed 31 or more fantasy points to quarterbacks in two straight games. Neither of those quarterbacks threw more than 30 passes. Neither had a rushing touchdown. Both did have 41 or more rushing yards. But those quarterbacks, Kyler and Purdy, these were their passer ratings. 158.3, 137.1. This is why we loved golf in week one. We expected the Rams to have a bad secondary. Well, it has been really bad the last couple of games. So Caleb Williams, are we streaming him? Are there any typical must-start quarterbacks
Starting point is 00:42:56 or probably start quarterbacks that you would start Williams over? Richardson. I've got Richardson a spot ahead of him right now, and I can totally see people saying, you know what? I'm going to give Richardson a rest and go with Caleb Williams. I don't buy into this Rams defense. And I don't think it should be. That's what you just said.
Starting point is 00:43:17 And so it's more about whether or not Caleb Williams can continue to at least he can't do this every single play, but more often than not just play within structure and play calmly and freely. And when that happens, he's amazing. He's made some amazing throws last week. I agree with you, Adam. I think the Bears, if you just watch the film, I think they look like the better team. They just struggled to stop the run late in the game.
Starting point is 00:43:41 And that's why they lost to Indianapolis. I think Caleb Williams is worth streaming. And I think he's got some upside that we kind of realized last week. I think I'll have fewer turnovers this week. And if he's got a healthy receiving core, it's, it's even harder to get away from him. So not a top 12 quarterback,
Starting point is 00:43:58 not a top 15 quarterback, but close to that. And Jamie has to go from Tennessee to Houston to Indianapolis, and you saw the difference. Yeah, well, right. And now he doesn't have to play the AFC South. But... I'd like him to play Jacksonville.
Starting point is 00:44:15 Yeah, he will. So Caleb Williams, Jamie, you do have him one spot ahead of Jared Goff. Dave, you have him three spots behind Jared Goff. That's another guy that has been sort of a must-start in the past or close to it that you could start Caleb Williams over. All right, I'm assuming we're not going to start any Bears running back. We're just going to wait and see what happens with Roshan, right?
Starting point is 00:44:35 Yeah, like you said, he should beat the waiver wire guy. I said it on Tuesday. I made that move in one of our – well, Adam's not in the league, but our draft fund league. I picked up Roshan Johnson. I dropped DeAndre Swift. I just would rather take my chances on the guy I think that's headed in the right direction as opposed to the guy who's been struggling.
Starting point is 00:44:57 And every story you read out of Chicago is just the flop of signing Swift and how bad it's been and that they need to get some different options back there, whether it's Johnson, which is what everybody's clamoring for, or Khalil Herbert even getting more work. So I think there's a big opportunity for him. I hope he takes advantage of him in terms of the role that he'll definitely have is going to be on passing downs. He'll play in that role. He played the majority of third downs last week. Travis Homer's on IR. They actually began the year with Travis Homer in that role and Roshan on the inactive list. So now we know he's going to get that role. We also know that Khalil Herbert is their goal line guy. That's what Shane Waldron said this week to the media, but like that's, that's Herbert's only role. It just seems weird.
Starting point is 00:45:37 And so can, can Roshan make inroads on, on first and second downs? I bet he gets a couple of carries this week on first and second downs and he bet he gets a couple of carries this week on first and second downs and he's got Carolina next week. So he's, he's absolutely a great stash. Okay. Jamie laid out the wide receivers earlier. DJ Moore must start. If one of the guys is out, probably start top 24 guy. If, if all three wide receivers play, um, you know, Keenan Allen, just a reminder, he had 11 targets in week one. People who drafted him, if Keenan Allen plays,
Starting point is 00:46:10 is he going to be in your top 36? Yes. Is he going to be ahead or behind Roma Dunze? He would be ahead of Dunze if he plays. All right. EPR, yeah, maybe even a non-PPR too. that makes me a little more nervous
Starting point is 00:46:27 because i love what i saw last week from caleb to odunze and cole comet is top nine right now but this is a tough game to preview right now on friday we just don't know who's in and who's out obviously comet is going to lose value if keenan allen and and Romo Dunze and DJ Moore are all healthy here. And the Rams, you know, like not bad. The Porta four for 45 McBride six for 67. Not bad.
Starting point is 00:46:55 They gave up a touchdown to Elijah Higgins, but, and, and Trey McBride recovered a touchdown in the end zone. One thing that I saw this morning was, I guess Shane Waldron, when he spoke to me i'm guessing it was yesterday he was said that uh he's listening to the the veterans on the team about what they want to do and i wonder how much of that factored into commit's role last week because it
Starting point is 00:47:16 was a change in terms of his opportunities by comparison to what happened in the first two games with gerald everett playing a little bit more and so when i heard that the first two games with Gerald Everett playing a little bit more. And so when I heard that, the first thing that stood out to me was Keenan Allen, because, and his quote was, we have a lot of guys that know what, that have been around and know what to do. That's obviously not Romo Dunze.
Starting point is 00:47:32 So it's, it's more, you know, speaking to Keenan Allen, I think to DJ more to maybe Deandre Swift, you know, because the other two running backs are relatively young by comparison. So I think there is an opportunity for Komet to continue to be a factor,
Starting point is 00:47:47 but he's not going to do what he did last week if everybody's there. It's just impossible to think he's going to get those targets. Now, he may score. He may have four or five catches. That's well within the realm of possibility. But to expect him to dominate like that with everybody there, I think is tough. Yeah, they also threw 52 passes last week, so keep that in mind.
Starting point is 00:48:05 Let's go to the Rams here. Sit Stafford. Kyron Williams or Chuba Hubbard? Kyron. Kyron. And if you had to pick a Rams wide receiver, who would it be? Tutu. Throw a dart, landed on Robinson, but Tutu's right behind him.
Starting point is 00:48:19 And Colby Parkinson is a sit for you guys. And the Bears DST is start worthy. Jamie, I think has him ninth, Dave 14th. Heath, not quite as high. It's another situation. Like if you're not sold on your DST, their schedule is favorable coming up. So you could get some multiple weeks out of them. If you want to just hold on to them.
Starting point is 00:48:39 An example, the Ravens have the bills this week, and then they're at Cincinnati next week. And then Washington the week after that. So you could easily make that switch if the Bears are available. Minnesota's at Green Bay. The Vikings have allowed the second fewest points in the NFL. Only the Steelers have allowed fewer. Sam Darnold. Okay, we talked about Andy Dalton.
Starting point is 00:48:59 We talked about Caleb Williams as streamers. Is Darnold your favorite of that bunch? Yes. Darnold is not 12th. He's 13th for me, but he might as well be a start this week. He's right next to Purdy, but if Purdy gets Kittle back, let's say no Debo, but yes, Kittle. Yeah, Purdy.
Starting point is 00:49:20 We're all kind of waiting for the Sam Darnold letdown game, but he's played so well. I know Adam, we talked about this off the air. Like when, when he's not pressured, he's been outstanding. Yep.
Starting point is 00:49:31 And when he's been pressured, he hasn't been, he struggles. And that's a lot of quarterbacks, but green Bay's defense, well, they haven't quite been dominant in that department. So that leads me to have some confidence in,
Starting point is 00:49:44 in Darnold having another good game Addison will be back or at least we think Jordan Addison will play I don't know if I want to trust Addison on my fantasy team but I think that he helped Sam Darnold out a lot as far as being able to help him compile yards maybe score a touchdown who the heck knows but Darnold to me has earned some credibility and is worth being in the conversation versus guys like Purdy, Baker, Mahomes. I would start those guys over Darnold for now, but he's ahead of Goff. He's ahead of Anthony Richardson. How about that?
Starting point is 00:50:13 Start Sam Darnold, sit Anthony Richardson. You would have reached through the camera and punched me in the face, both of you, if I had said that before the season started. Hey, I might do it after that. I mean, if you could be totally wrong about that, I might punch you in the face anyway. It's an interesting test for this Packers defense because you think about the two quarterbacks that they faced, they aren't exactly the most prolific passers in the last two weeks of Anthony Richardson and...
Starting point is 00:50:37 Levis. Well, Levis. And so I agree with Dave. It feels like the Darnold letdown game is coming. And this is a defense that has allowed five passing touchdowns and has seven interceptions you know but Levis did come back and rally a little bit you know had the two touchdown game last week um the thing about Darnold the seven touchdowns the last two weeks is impressive we haven't seen like a 300 plus yard game out of him yet you know so it's been 250 or less basically i know at least
Starting point is 00:51:05 two of the three games um where he's been he's been good but he did it against two very good defenses and you know they were at home you know whatever you think the versions of these defenses are houston and san francisco they're still good defenses and so going on the road you know it's going to be a hostile environment uh there's a lot you know going on here between these two teams um historically and And as Dave alluded to, this could be the setup for maybe the NFC North title with the way these two teams have gone off to a hot start with Detroit clearly in the mix. So I do fear starting Donald a little bit, but it's hard not to buy into this is the best receiver he's ever played with. This is probably
Starting point is 00:51:41 the best coach he's ever had. He's playing so well right now. Unless his back is an issue, I think he should have at least a moderately decent game. So if we're going to use just Dak as the barometer, he should be around 220-2, limit the interceptions. He's had, I think, one a game.
Starting point is 00:51:56 Keep that under control, he should be okay. All right. How about this for a letdown game for Sam Darnold? Overseas, week before the bye, against the jets. That's revenge. I listen, we got to move fast. I think it could be the letdown game.
Starting point is 00:52:16 He's what you should know. Dave mentioned he's been worse under pressure. Every quarterback's worse under pressure, but for Darnold, it's insane with, with, you know, when he's not pressured, he leads the NFL in yards per attempt when he is pressured, he's 25th. So you got to get pressure on him. And I noticed that. I mean, we were watching the film or the tape. He just was such a big difference. And I looked up the stats. I'm like, oh, yeah, this is a thing.
Starting point is 00:52:32 All right, start Aaron Jones. Great matchup so far. The Packers have been bad against the run, giving up a lot of receiving yards. And by the way, Aaron Jones wants to do the Lambeau leap. Yeah, he's calling the shot already. Start Jefferson. Addison or Jalen Naylor.
Starting point is 00:52:47 Naylor scored in every game. Are you going to start either one of those guys? I'd prefer not to go out of Naylor. Yeah. Okay, so let's definitely not Naylor, and let's just kind of maybe stash Addison. Sit the Minnesota tight ends. It's a very funny way you said that.
Starting point is 00:53:03 Stash Addison? No, the first part sit now. Okay. I'll have to Lizard back. Uh, start law. Jordan love. If he plays the highest,
Starting point is 00:53:16 he would be for me would be 10th if he plays, but I'd be a little bit nervous about him in his first game back against this defense. I would start him if he plays but it comes down to here like i start him over donald that's what i was gonna ask i would i don't know if i'm ready to commit to that he'd be somewhere between 10th and 16th for me i'm nervous about jacobs if if love doesn't play like it's just kind of looks it feels like last week to me 14 carries for 43 yards one catch yards. You know, the week before he did have 32 carries, but no targets. And I almost wonder if they realized after that 32 carry game that they need
Starting point is 00:53:52 to lay off of him a little bit. And now they realize they can because Wilson's run so well. I mean, maybe, but the other side of it is just like his first two games were good matchups is his week three was not. And this is a really good run defense here and he's not doing anything in the passing game with malik willis so i don't know man i i'm probably gonna be a little lower than you guys on him but i've got him as a number two running back like toward like in the 20s you do i think he's like 20 for me jacob no i will not i'm sorry i
Starting point is 00:54:24 had him much higher in the rankings. Maybe I might have done this game a couple of days ago. I don't know if he... I thought he was higher in the rankings. Okay, then we're on the same page. Good. I felt like I was a fish out of water or something. Jacobs is an okay start.
Starting point is 00:54:37 He's not a great start this week. Green Bay wide receivers. Dave, do you trust any of them? And give us the two scenarios, with and without Willis. Reed and Watson are considerations for flex spots. Reed more so for Watson. That's if Love does not play. If Love does play, I would upgrade them both a little bit,
Starting point is 00:54:55 but not so much that either one would be like a number two wide receiver. Okay. I think that's it. Set the tight ends. Minnesota DST. I'm that's it. Sit the tight ends. The Minnesota DST. I'm sorry to interrupt you. I do think the weakness of this Vikings defense is that cornerback and it might be perimeter cornerback.
Starting point is 00:55:12 So that would be good for Watson, but love's got to get back in there, not miss a beat, evade the pass rush and throw with accuracy downfield. It feels like that's a lot to ask for in his first game back. Yeah. Would you start the Vikings DST if Love plays? He's definitely going to start them if he doesn't,
Starting point is 00:55:30 but would you start them if he does play? Yeah, probably. All right, because they're top eight right now. Big game. It's a fun game. I was thinking about hitting the music for that game, but I can't like... I don't know.
Starting point is 00:55:43 You can't do that. It's a big game if Love plays. It's not as exciting if Love's not there. I can't like, I don't know. Yeah, you can't do that. It's a big game. If love plays, it's not as exciting. If love's not there. I mean, give Malik Willis credit. He's done,
Starting point is 00:55:50 he's done a nice job. He's been so much better. There's no doubt. He's been, he's been great version, but the, the allure of this game changes. If it's love or willis.
Starting point is 00:55:59 That's a good word. I like that. New Orleans at Atlanta. Starters hit Derek Carr. Oh man. He's a starter in Superflex and two QB leagues. And I think if you're stuck, you know, then you start him. If not, you just kind of pivot to Darnold or I would start Dalton over him too.
Starting point is 00:56:19 Okay. And one thing about New Orleans, right, is like I wanted to see what would happen in week three. Because they are right now 27th in pass rate. No, 32nd. 32nd in pass rate. They have the lowest pass rate in football. But, you know, the first two weeks were kind of blowout wins. They were 27th in pass rate last week against the Cowboys in a back-and-forth game.
Starting point is 00:56:39 They've got to start throwing the ball more. 23, 16, and 25 attempts. They will throw more than that but it's crazy right now will they i don't i don't know if they want to and there's some complications remember how like going into the game last week all i could do was sing the praises of the saints offensive line and how good it was sing it they're the whole i don't i don't know the song you'd have to sing it for me but you get what i'm saying very Very early in that game, center Eric McCoy got hurt. He's now out for like two months.
Starting point is 00:57:09 One of their guards, Ruiz, left for a little bit. He came back and he played hurt. Trevor Penning had a bad game. That offensive line went to duty really quick. And Derek Carr looked mostly like the Derek Carr of old. And that was very problematic for me. Now we've got a Falcons defense that isn't as dominant with their pass rush pressure rate as Philadelphia was last week or is in general.
Starting point is 00:57:31 But I noticed in that game, their default when that offensive line turmoil happened was to run with Camara and Camara had more runs than Derek Carr had pass attempts. And we talked earlier in the show about how Carr was close to connecting with Shahid. And Olave had a great game. But I don't know if they want Derek Carr to throw 30, 35 times in a game. Okay, but he hasn't even come close to that. His high is 25.
Starting point is 00:57:58 But that's the same as his goal. Through excellent pass protection. And now I don't know if that can happen. And it's going to be the same story. All right, so sit Carr. Us and the Falcons too. Because they've got offensive line issues. Let me get to the tough call, right?
Starting point is 00:58:12 Carr's not a tough call. Sit him. Shahid. Kamara's not a tough call. You're starting him. Olave and Shahid. Olave's been okay this year. He's been great.
Starting point is 00:58:20 Is he a must start? And Shahid, Jamie. Olave's a must start. You know, whether he's number one or number two receiver, you can't get him out of your lineup after the game you just had. Shahid uh Jamie a lot of is a must start you know whether he's number one or number two receiver he can't get him out of your lineup after the game he just had uh Shahid as we talked about he's a number three receiver chance to clearly have a big game um three receiver leagues he's a must start guy two receiver leagues in a flex he's probably in consideration for flex two receiver leagues where you have a running back as a better option to flex
Starting point is 00:58:41 you should play the running back for example you, you asked about Zach Moss versus, I think, Jameson Williams. I'd play Zach Moss over Shahid as well. Okay. I know I asked you about them both kind of separately, but would you rather start Mooney or Shahid? I'll say the same thing. I think the ceiling play is Shahid. The floor play is Mooney.
Starting point is 00:59:00 Okay. I'll take Shahid. I agree that the ceiling play is Shahid and the floor play is Mooney, but we've seen I'll take Shahid. I agree that the ceiling play sheet and the floor play is Mooney, but we've seen a game this year where Atlanta's offensive line really let Kirk cousins down and Mooney was not good in that game.
Starting point is 00:59:12 And I'm worried that something like that can happen. And this Saints defense is good, man. So I, I'm, I'm a little more nervous about Mooney than I am. She is Drake London. A must start.
Starting point is 00:59:22 Yep. He is. Darnell Mooney has one fewer target than Drake London. He has 33 more yards. Darnell Mooney is definitely like a 1A right now to Drake London. London, I got to tell you, you're probably not going to care, but his ADOT is a career low 8.3 yards. And yet his yak per catch is still a pathetic 2.8 yards. That's Drake London.
Starting point is 00:59:52 He has made one explosive play this year. Come on, Drake London. Like, do something. Look, he got the wide open touchdown last week. Got the late touchdown. I don't know what Darius Slay was doing two weeks ago. Like, make a play. Make a play.
Starting point is 01:00:07 He doesn't make plays. Okay, sorry. I had to get that off my chest. Yeah, he's averaging eight targets a game the last two weeks. And starting to hopefully build towards something as opposed to this is what we're getting. So it's a matter of what else you have on your team. Eight targets a game on only 29 pass attempts both games. So that's why you start
Starting point is 01:00:26 Drake London because he is that's like over 25% target share. So that's you want that. That's you start him. Okay.
Starting point is 01:00:34 You like that? Yeah. Bijan Bijan is a start. Kirk Cousins you're not starting. You have him below Derek Carr and Kyle Pitts.
Starting point is 01:00:44 Starter sit Kyle Pitts I think it comes down to if the Bears are missing guys then you could start commit over Pitts if you really want to trust Dalton Schultz with no tank Dell certainly no Nico Collins then tank Dell over then Schultz over Pitts but if you want to go with Schultz with the hope that he beats up Jacksonville if that helps him without tank Del there, you can go that route really though. It's just comes down to like, do you really want to make a transaction to pick up a,
Starting point is 01:01:10 a Mike Gusecki or a Tyler Conklin? Like I'm not even close to there yet, you know, with what pits has done, like he should have had a bigger game last week, but he's still getting enough opportunities, has enough big play potential, still has,
Starting point is 01:01:24 you know, at least one touchdown on the season. So hopefully that will start to build as well. So he's kind of just a starter by default. It's almost like a lesser version of Travis Kelsey and Mark Andrews at this point. I mean, we could say other nice things about him. Like his targets have gone up each of the past three games. It went from three to four to five.
Starting point is 01:01:40 He had that 50-yard catch last week. Jamie alluded to that. Was it two games ago or one game ago where he was open for a touchdown? Adam was the Philly game, I believe. Okay. So that was two games ago. So he's been either close to scoring or has scored in every game so far this year. So that's something that you can do. All right. I wasn't a huge pits fan to begin with.
Starting point is 01:02:05 Yeah. But let's wrap this. If Kirk Cousins is going to be under duress and he's got to get the ball out quick on short throws, then Pitts could see even more targets than last week. Philadelphia is at Tampa Bay. You know, actually, real quick. I'm neglecting the chat today. Chat question. Shahid or London?
Starting point is 01:02:22 London. Drake London. Debo Samuel, if he plays, or Drake London? Are we getting Decoy Samuel or Debo Samuel? I probably take my chances with Debo. I would too, just knowing that he could get some carries on top of some targets.
Starting point is 01:02:38 Carr, Darnold, or Goff? Darnold. And I think that's it for this game. Okay, now let's go to Philadelphia at Tampa Bay. It's it for this game. Okay, now let's go to Philadelphia, Tampa Bay. Stat of the game. The Bucs have not allowed a touchdown pass yet. They have allowed three rushing touchdowns to run to... Oh, they've allowed three rushing...
Starting point is 01:02:56 No, I must have been to quarterbacks. They've allowed three rushing touchdowns to quarterbacks. And the Eagles have not allowed a touchdown to a running back yet, rushing or receiving. That's stat of the game number one. Stat of the game number two, the Eagles have allowed allowed a touchdown to a running back yet, rushing or receiving. That's stat of the game number one. Stat of the game number two, the Eagles have allowed the third most receiving yards, second most yards per catch,
Starting point is 01:03:11 and most touchdowns to wide receivers out of the slot. So don't ask any Chris Godwin questions. Just start him. Jalen Hurts, who are some guys you would start over Jalen Hurts, who's about eighth or ninth in your rankings this week? Daniels is easy. Burrow, Stroud. I started Dak over him.
Starting point is 01:03:33 That's about it. I'm not there yet with clearly Darnold or those other streaming options, but it's not pretty when he doesn't have his two receivers. The only guy that comes dangerously close to Jalen Hurts is
Starting point is 01:03:48 Geno Smith, of all people. Track record against Detroit. We know he's going to throw a lot. You could make the case that Geno does better than Jalen Hurts, but I think Hurts is safer. I think you can definitely make the case that Baker Mayfield does better right in this game.
Starting point is 01:04:10 The sacks have been a problem, but I'm hoping that they shore up right tackle this week. Right. And that goes, but you're starting Hurts because I believe I have, no, I have Hurts or Goff. I'm going to start Hurts, but all right, you're starting Hurts over Mayfield. Mayfield is just inside your top 12, though. Start Barkley. We're not going for an Eagles wide receiver. But if you had to pick one, if you were super desperate,
Starting point is 01:04:31 it would be... Dotson? Probably Dotson. All right. Dallas Goddard is a top two tight end. So if Kittle plays, though, Kittle or Goddard? Goddard. Goddard. All right.
Starting point is 01:04:42 Yeah, Dallas Goddard, start him. Mayfield is about 10th or 11th in the rankings. And all right. God wins a start. Evans is a start this week, right? Back to him. I mean, especially after they said they got to get him going. So it feels like there's a squeaky wheel game coming.
Starting point is 01:04:56 And this is a much easier matchup than what he had to deal with last week. So I wonder if it's going to be fun to track. So Metcalf goes nuts the week after facing Sertan. Pickens, moderate game, but he's a bad judge because of just how little they throw the ball. Like, I wonder if we're just going to, like, that's the DFS play of the week
Starting point is 01:05:19 is the week after you play Sertan. Freedom week. Yes. All right, so what about the Bucks running backs? This is the tough call in this game. What are we doing here? Well, I think first off, if Irving is out, then it should be back to Rashad White to the moon, you know, with the opportunities that he'll get. He'll probably have a terrible rushing average again, but at least, you know, he's not coming off the field like he has been. If Irving plays, A, is he 100%? Because then we could be seeing a
Starting point is 01:05:46 change of the guard. They are clearly frustrated with what Rashad White has been doing as a rusher. And Irving has looked so much better the last two weeks. So will he get the opportunity to be the first and second down guy more often, or maybe the entire game? And then White is more of a third down back. So I would try and sit White if you can in the event that Irving gets in a full practice on Friday. It's a little bit easier to trust him if it's a limited practice and he's still dealing with his hamstring injury. And then obviously, again, if Irving's out, you should be all the way back in on Rashad White. But PPR, he's better off than he is in non-PPR. I wonder what they'll do at the goal line with the two guys.
Starting point is 01:06:23 But Irving just looks so much better the last couple of weeks. Maybe all three games, too, but just looks so much better than Rashad White right now. If they both play, who do you rank ahead? Still White, but it's close. Agreed. And this isn't an easy matchup either. Philadelphia has been good against the run. I don't know, man.
Starting point is 01:06:40 They're giving up 5.2 yards per carry to running backs. That's over the course of the year. Yeah. Well, it's only been three games. They were good last week. How did Camara do on the ground against us? No, not well. That's what's fresh in your mind.
Starting point is 01:06:55 26 carries for 87 yards. And then did Bijan have a monster game against them? 14 carries for 97 yards. Algier, 9 for 53. Jacobs, 16 for 84. Wilson, 4 for 46. Yeah. I'm going to say that this is still a tough matchup for Tampa Bay's run game. And that's what helps me not panic over Baker. Cause I think Baker will have to throw a lot. Of course he threw a lot last week and it didn't end up going well, but I think this is an easier matchup for him passing
Starting point is 01:07:21 game wise. So I agree with everything Jamie said about the running backs, but I think that this is a game where Mayfield can get right. Evans gets right. Godwin keeps doing what he's doing. Seattle is at Detroit. Here's a fun, quirky, potentially meaningless stat of the game.
Starting point is 01:07:36 Gino Smith has thrown one touchdown pass in each game. Detroit has allowed one touchdown pass in each game. Here's a spooky, scary, potentially meaningful stat of the game. Did you write that out? I did. I'm reading it verbatim.
Starting point is 01:07:49 Now I just saw I misspelled meaningful. Put two L's at the end. That's an L. The Lions allow the fewest fantasy points to running backs, 2.76 yards per carry to running backs, and... Is that over the course of the season? Yeah. And the fewest...
Starting point is 01:08:04 That goes back to the start of 2024. They were great last year too. Uh, the fewest receiving yards per game allowed to running backs. They have faced Kyron Williams, Rashad white and James Connor. Um, so let's assume Walker's out right now.
Starting point is 01:08:19 Zach Charbonnet or a guy that I know you don't love Josh Jacobs. Charbonnet. Agreed. All right, Zach Charbonnet or Zach Moss? Charbonnet. I have Charbonnet a spot ahead of Moss in full PPR. Okay. Charbonnet or David Montgomery?
Starting point is 01:08:41 I have Montgomery ahead of him. Charbonnet in PPR, Montgomery in 9.5. Montgomery is catching. Montgomery is doing so much work, and he's scoring every week. And if Seattle doesn't have their D tackles, man, that's the reason to go against golf. But the passing game works.
Starting point is 01:08:59 It would be fantastic for Charbonnet, though. It could be, yeah. I mean, that's a big boost for him. If Ken Walker does play, would you start either guy or sit him? I would probably put Walker as a low-end number two running back and Charbonnet as a desperation flex.
Starting point is 01:09:19 Here's my hope. Walker would be living around where Jacobs is in my rankings as a low-end RB2. Here's my hope as a Walker be living around where Jacobs is in my rankings as a low-end RB2. Here's my hope as a Walker manager. He misses the game. Charbonnet is awful. And we have absolutely no controversy next week.
Starting point is 01:09:33 I think Charbonnet could be awesome, and we still have no controversy next week. I hope so. But you know what? Not controversy, but in week one, it really looked like things had changed. Charbonnet really didn't play that much until Walker got hurt. He really didn't have much of a role. And that was different than in a running game. That was different than the previous year.
Starting point is 01:09:51 So it looked like Walker was going to have a better role than he had in 2023. That's what I hope we get back to when Walker comes back. You guys have Geno Smith inside your top 12. Geno or Baker? Geno. Baker. Okay, but it's close. Gino or Baker? Gino. Baker. Okay, but it's close. Talking about the running backs, we already did that.
Starting point is 01:10:10 All right, Metcalf, everyone's going to start. I mentioned earlier, Lions' second most receiving yards per game allowed two wide receivers out of the slot. So hopefully it's a JSN week. I think, Dave, you made a good case that they could have trouble running the ball, and that makes it a JSN week. Then, of course, we have this pesky Tyler Lockett guy, but what's your level of confidence in JSN? Moderate. And I think he's safe as a flex. I prefer it in full or half PPR than non PPR.
Starting point is 01:10:38 Maybe it was Jamie. I would definitely start him ahead of Lockett, but I don't mind Lockett as a a boom-bust flex, just because what I think this matchup will end up being. That's especially if Walker is out. Jamie, you're higher on JSN. Maybe you had said it earlier. a lot, I'm going to be more excited about the trio of wide receivers there. And clearly the, the tiers are established for how fantasy managers should view them. Metcalf is a must-start guy. I think JSN is a borderline starter, better served as a number three receiver because he's had two disappointing games in one massive one, but this should be a great opportunity against his defense. And then you've got, you know, Lockett as just sort of the wild card because he could always pop up like he did in week one
Starting point is 01:11:25 when they had to go elsewhere. And in this case, I don't think they have to go elsewhere. So Lockett is more of a desperation play. Full PPR, JSN or David Montgomery? Montgomery. Montgomery. He's safer. I don't know if I said this. I meant to. But David Montgomery, seven catches in his last two games.
Starting point is 01:11:42 That is more than any two-game stretch that he had in 2023. His most catches were five catches in a two-game stretch, including the postseason. So I think that means you probably can't expect him to be a factor in the passing game. It's probably fluky. Everyone's going to start Jameer Gibbs. Yeah, Montgomery's a good start.
Starting point is 01:12:00 And St. Brown, yes. So then, yeah, Jamison Williams. He's right around 24th for you guys. He's right there, basically, 25th, 24th, 26th, depending on who you're looking at. This is the one guy I wanted to watch. I didn't get a chance to. I wanted to watch his routes.
Starting point is 01:12:14 Only 23 pass attempts, I think, for golf last week, so that could have factored in, but really disappointing. One catch for nine yards on three targets. I don't know. I don't know. There's a lot of logic here. It just feels like a dartboard basically with, with Jameson.
Starting point is 01:12:28 It's like, I don't think they're going to throw that much this week. Do you? That's the concern. That's a hundred percent of the concern. And like you said, we're going to find out how good this defense and this secondary is. They've faced the easiest matchup of quarterbacks.
Starting point is 01:12:39 You could potentially find in the first three weeks of the season with Jacoby Brissett, Bo Nix and Skylar Thompson. Like it couldn't get any easier. So is Jared Goff going to solve his woes and have a monster game? He's had a 300-yard game and one touchdown. He's been a little turnover prone. His offensive line has let him down, and now he doesn't have rack now.
Starting point is 01:13:00 So is this the easy layup that we thought it was going to be? I don't think so. So must sit Jared golf must sit the receivers outside of, you know, St. Brown. No, but I think you're looking at, you know, Jamison Williams, very similar to Shahid, very similar to Shakir, similar to Jason, you know, number three receiver with still upside to be fantastic, but also some downside as we saw last week. What happens if it's the middle of the third quarter and Seattle's ahead? Great.
Starting point is 01:13:29 And they're still running. Oh yeah. If they were down by a touchdown, they're still going to run the ball. Yeah. No, most likely too. So with that,
Starting point is 01:13:37 I'd be very surprised if they're down three touchdowns in the third quarter, then that changed things. Right. Of course. But I, that the game script along with the the front d tackles missing for two of the d linemen i should say missing for seattle might push me away from jameson williams and i might have them too high that's one i'm going
Starting point is 01:13:55 to reevaluate but you also have the factor of this is the first game without laporta and so you know what are we what are we looking at there yeah but another guy is going to play isn't he going to take some of that? Brock Wright had five targets last week. I was about to say, another waiver wire option is Brock Wright. Yeah, he has as many targets last week as the season high for Laporta. Five targets for Laporta in week one. All right, we have a question here in the chat.
Starting point is 01:14:19 You know what's going to happen, Adam? What? Brock Wright's going to score. And we're all going to sit there going, God, no. Yeah, right wrong. Laporta can't do this, but Brock Wright's going to score. And we're all going to sit there going, God, yeah. Yeah, right wrong. Florida can't do this, but Brock Wright can. Oh, I'm playing the Detroit tight end this week in one league.
Starting point is 01:14:34 Nice. You've got them both locked up. Yeah, I mean, it's a Monday night game. So if LaPorta is going to be a game time decision, hopefully we know by then. But it's our dynasty league. So it's 14 team league. All right, JSN or Dobbins in half PPR?
Starting point is 01:14:46 That's a question for you. JSN. Jamison Williams or Dobbins in half PPR? Jamison. I think it's going to be – I think it might be Dobbins, man. A lot will come down to Herbert's status. Okay, I'm looking for questions for this game in the chat. I know you guys talked about that game yesterday.
Starting point is 01:15:06 Did, did you think about how the chargers might operate offensively? Like, couldn't they just go to like Greg Roman's big dream of running it every single play with. Yes, but they're also down Slater and alt, and that's not very good against this defense.
Starting point is 01:15:20 Yeah. But if you're going to load up with like seven offensive linemen or something like that, something crazy, I mean, you think the chiefs are playing a dime defense. you're going to load up with like seven offensive linemen or something like that, something crazy. I think they're going to... You think the Chiefs are playing a dime defense? They're going to stop that too.
Starting point is 01:15:30 I think they're going to... I think that... Well, Chiefs run defense has been great. I think they're going to operate poorly. That's how I feel like they're going to operate. Goff or Geno? Geno.
Starting point is 01:15:38 Geno. Brian Robinson Jr. or Walker Charbonnet? Robinson Jr. even if Charbonnet is by himself. Okay. Those are some chat questions there. Yeah, I agree with that. And Richardson or Goff? or Walker Charbonnet? Robinson Jr. even if Charbonnet is by himself. Okay. Those are some chat questions there.
Starting point is 01:15:47 Yeah, I agree with that. And Richardson or Goff? Richardson. I have Goff right now. All right, we got one more game here. Let's see if we can knock this out in a couple minutes. We are running long. Washington at Arizona
Starting point is 01:15:59 updated stat of the game. Now the commanders have allowed 75 yards or a touchdown to 35 wide receivers in their last 21 games. Yikes. Is it 20 games? It must be 20 games. Because why would it be 21?
Starting point is 01:16:14 They've only played. What if you're going back to 2022? I'm not. I'm going to put 20 there. All right. Stat of the game number two. Remember I said that thing I don't like about. You're either statting your own stat.
Starting point is 01:16:23 That's great. Marvin Harrison. 12.1 yard average route depth, 16.4-yard ADOT. He is among the NFL leaders in both of those categories. You don't want to be that high. That needs to come down. He has a 45.5% catch rate. Having said that, though, he's obviously a must-start.
Starting point is 01:16:40 There are a lot of must-starts in this game. Did you look at that on a week-by-week scale? I did, and it's high every week. It was high even in week one? Okay. Oh, yeah, yeah, for sure. Very high in week one. So I don't like that, but this is a fun game. This could be a bonanza.
Starting point is 01:16:58 Is there anyone you're nervous about? Is McLaurin someone you're nervous about in this game? He's a very good number three receiver with the upside to be a top 20 guy. I'd start him over Garrett Wilson. How does he compare to Jamison Williams? I'd start him over Garrett Wilson. Wow, you'd go with Garrett Wilson over McLaurin?
Starting point is 01:17:16 No, I'd start him over Garrett Wilson. Oh, okay. I thought you said the opposite. I was like, wow, shock, because you've trampled G-dubs. Okay, I'm sorry. So, JSN, Jamison Williams, G-dubs. Okay, sorry. So, JSN, Jamison Williams, Terry McLaurin. How do you feel about that?
Starting point is 01:17:31 McLaurin is safer, I think, than those guys, but it would not shock me if JSN is better and gets more volume. The one thing you don't want to do with McLaurin is chase last week's game when it's two big plays down the field. So, four catches in the two previous games, I know they missed on some throws, but the two previous games, he wasn't exactly as successful. So that's the concern.
Starting point is 01:17:52 It's still, you know, Jay and Daniel's going to run. Brian Robinson's going to take a lot of the offense. And so for me, I think McLaurin more of a number three receiver with the upside to be top 20. I think if it's half or non-PPR, McLaurin, Jameson, JSN makes sense. If it's full PPR, you could make the case that JSN has a little bit more upside because he could catch more passes. He might catch as many passes as McLaurin and Jameson combined. I'll still take McLaurin first and I'll probably end up going JSN over Jameson just based on
Starting point is 01:18:24 what I'm thinking about this game now with those D tackles missing for Seattle. We got some chat questions. Ertz or Conklin? Ertz has been okay. Ertz or Conklin? Ertz is safer but Conklin may have the higher ceiling with what Rodgers will do if Sertan just eliminates
Starting point is 01:18:40 Garrett Wilson. They're both top 10 for me if you can believe that in PPR. That's how gross tight end is right now. Are either Bryan Robinson or James Conner top 12? I have Conner slightly ahead. I do too. Conner is 12th for me.
Starting point is 01:18:57 Kyler Murray or Jaden Daniels? This guy starts the wrong quarterback every week. Kyler or Daniels? Kyler. Mm-hmm. Yeah. I don't know if this matters to you, but it's a short week for Washington, right? They played Monday.
Starting point is 01:19:15 And they're going to the West Coast, almost the West Coast. Yeah. I don't know. On the road, Monday night, emotional win. And then they've got to go back on the road even farther on a shortish week. So yeah, Daniels and Kyler are both top four running backs. Connor and Robinson are both top 15 running backs. Ertz is a streamer.
Starting point is 01:19:37 Marvin Harrison is a must start. Terry McLaurin is ahead of Garrett Wilson. And that just leaves Michael Wilson as a possibility. If Trey McBride doesn't play, you could take a flyer on him. He's 43% rostered. And that is it for today's show. It's going to haunt me all day
Starting point is 01:19:54 that I messed up the Eagles run defense. I completely blanked on week two. That happens to me too. I hate that. When I make a mistake like that It's going to gnaw me all freaking day. It took me two or three days to get over the Mike Evans versus, uh, versus new Orleans thing from Tuesday.
Starting point is 01:20:10 But Adam, should we nail her or Addison? Okay. Uh, that's what I said. If you're desperate for a little Monday night insurance, this is just to bring up Brock, right again,
Starting point is 01:20:22 but Brock Wright could be a guy to stash in case you've got somebody who's questionable for either of the Monday Night Games. Longest show of the year. Have a good one, everybody. We'll talk to you next time on Fantasy Football Today. We'll be right back.
